Distraction Is a Warfare Strategy: Let’s Shut It Down! · Mornings with the Holy Spirit

• 0:01
If you're dealing with a lot of
• 0:02
pressure, if you're dealing with a lot
• 0:04
  of distractions, which then bring
• 0:06
pressure, God has a word for you and I'm
• 0:09
going to pray for you today. But before
• 0:11
I do, I want to make you aware, remind
• 0:13
you one last time of the Angels of War
• 0:16
  free live event.
• 0:18
It's in just about a week. I'm teaching
• 0:21
five sessions live streaming, but you
• 0:24
got to register. You got to go over
• 0:26
  there to jenniferlair.orglive org/live
• 0:29
and get in on this free event today.
• 0:32
This is going to shift your paradigm in
• 0:34
the realm of warfare and just angels in
• 0:36
  general. These are ministering spirits
• 0:38
sent to minister to the heirs of
• 0:40
salvation. That's you. So get over there
• 0:42
  today, jenniferlair.orglive,
• 0:46
and sign up for Angels of War. Now,
• 0:50
  let's get into today's broadcast.
• 0:54
The Holy Spirit doesn't pressure us, but
• 0:57
the world does. People do. The devil
• 0:59
does. And we need to learn not to
• 1:02
receive the pressure. And I want to
• 1:04
share with you something the Lord said
• 1:05
to me that's really, really going to
• 1:07
help you. This was a a revelation to me.
• 1:09
You know, I've lived in a pressure
• 1:10
cooker for a lot of my life, and I had
• 1:13
to learn what I'm going to share with
• 1:15
you that the Holy Spirit shared with me.
• 1:17
So, put on your spiritual ears. Here's
• 1:19
what I heard the Lord say. Pressure will
• 1:22
come. The world brings demonic pressure
• 1:25
that seeks to overwhelm your soul. I
• 1:29
want to teach you how to recognize this
• 1:31
strategy, says the Lord, and resist
• 1:34
moving in the negative emotions it
• 1:36
produces. Pressure may come from people.
• 1:39
  Pressure may come from circumstances.
• 1:41
  Pressure will come from spiritual
• 1:43
forces, says the Lord. Don't receive it.
• 1:47
Resist it. Rise above it. Walk instead
• 1:52
in the grace and peace that reside in
• 1:54
your spirit. Yes. Combat the pressure
• 1:57
from the world and from the enemy with
• 1:59
the peace of Christ that passes all
• 2:01
understanding. It will guard your heart
• 2:04
and soul, says the spirit of the living
• 2:07
God. That is so good. You know, I've
• 2:11
well, I'm still learning. We're all
• 2:12
still learning, but I've learned I've
• 2:14
gotten better at not receiving the
• 2:16
pressure. When people pressure me, I
• 2:18
just back up. The answer is no. You need
• 2:20
an answer today. The answer is no. When
• 2:23
the devil uh pressures me, I speak back.
• 2:26
I give the word. I speak the word. I tap
• 2:28
into the grace of God. And when
• 2:30
circumstances pressure me, it's the same
• 2:32
thing. I back up. I take a deep breath.
• 2:34
That pressure makes it so hard to make
• 2:37
  good decisions. That pressure brings
• 2:39
stress. And God didn't call us to live
• 2:42
under stress. He called us to live under
• 2:44
grace. Amen. So when that pressure
• 2:47
comes, learn to discern those first
• 2:49
inklings of the pressure and resist it
• 2:51
like you'd resist the devil because God
• 2:53
does not pressure us. He's a gentleman.
• 2:57
Amen. Scripture references are in the
• 2:59
devotional. Pick up your copy of
• 3:00
Mornings with the Holy Spirit on my
• 3:02
  website at jenniferlair.org
• 3:04
or wherever you find books online. Now,
• 3:07
the prayer starter from the devotional.
• 3:09
Teach me, please. Teach me how to avoid
• 3:11
the feeling of being overwhelmed and to
• 3:14
embrace your peace in the midst of the
• 3:16
pressure. Help me not to cave in under
• 3:19
  the pressure of people, circumstances,
• 3:22
or spiritual enemies that choose and
• 3:24
choose the path of peace. Yes, Lord, in
• 3:27
Jesus name, we choose the path of peace.
• 3:31
And with that, today we're going to pray
• 3:34
  into these distractions because it's
• 3:36
handinhand with the enemy's strategy to
• 3:38
keep you out of God's best and to pull
• 3:40
to apply more pressure. We're going to
• 3:42
pray into all that and more in today's
• 3:45
mornings with the Holy Spirit. This is
• 3:47

  at igniteenow.org
• 6:31
and just get ready, get revved up. I
• 6:34
want to get us on the same page about
• 6:36
  these distractions. Although I'm pretty
• 6:38
sure we all know what it's about because
• 6:40
I see it as warfare. Not all of it. Some
• 6:42
of it's just normal. Some of it's just
• 6:44
natural. But there but the enemy does
• 6:47
use distraction and it's a form of
• 6:50
warfare that most believers they don't
• 6:51
recognize it because it's not always so
• 6:53
dramatic. It doesn't hit your mind, you
• 6:55
know, with a vain imagination. There's
• 6:57
no witchcraft. It's just it's just, you
• 6:59
  know,
• 7:01
it doesn't seem like opposition. It's
• 7:03
kind of like quiet warfare. It creeps
• 7:05
in, fragments your focus, scatters your
• 7:08
attention, and it just starts pulling
• 7:11
you away from the very thing God told
• 7:13
you to build. Whether that's your
• 7:14
career, your family, or how about just
• 7:16
trying to rest, you know, and
• 7:18
  distraction, it's it's it's a spiritual
• 7:21
  strategy. I said it's a spiritual
• 7:23
strategy. I did a video on this about a
• 7:26
year or so ago about how it's one of the
• 7:28
  enemy's biggest spiritual strategies.
• 7:30
Here's the thing. If we know it's a
• 7:32
  strategy,
• 7:34
then we're in a better position to fight
• 7:36
it or resist it or overcome it because
• 7:39
we're not ignorant of it. So many of
• 7:40
  these demonic devices, you know,
• 7:44
we just don't we're not aware of it. We
• 7:45
just think it's a natural occurrence.
• 7:48
But the enemy studies patterns. He
• 7:50
  studies timing. He studies your
• 7:52
  assignments. And when you can't
• 7:54
directly, he can't listen. He doesn't
• 7:57
have that much power. He has the power
• 7:59
that we give him. And when he tries to
• 8:01
distract us, we are forfeiting or
• 8:04
seeding ce i n g some of our power to
• 8:07
him because we're allowing him to direct
• 8:08
our steps. And the Lord wants to direct
• 8:11
our steps, right? I mean, Nehemiah, I
• 8:14
love the book of Nehemiah. He's
• 8:15
rebuilding the wall and his enemies
• 8:17
didn't come attack him with brute force,
• 8:19
right? They didn't come with with swords
• 8:20
and spears and, you know, they they
• 8:22
tried to lure him into meetings. They
• 8:24
wanted to distract him. Oh, come let us
• 8:26
meet together. Well, it sounded okay.
• 8:29
Let's go have a meeting. Okay. They
• 8:30
  maybe it's a diplomacy. Maybe they're
• 8:32
trying to work out their disagreements.
• 8:33
  It sounded harmless. But Nehemiah
• 8:36
discerned the intent. He said they
• 8:39
thought to do me harm and he responded
• 8:43
with what I just love this. I love I've
• 8:46
used this statement so many times. He
• 8:47
said I am doing a great work so that I
• 8:50
cannot come down. And you know
• 8:54
we you are doing a great work whether
• 8:56
it's in your family whether you know
• 8:59
  it's just
• 9:01
  it's a oh my goodness someone's calling
• 9:03
me at 6:00 in the morning. Not now. See,
• 9:07
  that was a distraction.
• 9:12
Who in the world would call me at six
• 9:13
  o'c six o'clock in the morning? That's a
• 9:16
  distraction. Great example. Amen. Trying
• 9:19
to distract me from prayer. The enemy
• 9:21
will try to distract you from prayer
• 9:22
because he knows God's going to answer
• 9:23
your prayer. So anyway, there's an art
• 9:26
there's a blog post over on my website.
• 9:28
Go check that out because there's more
• 9:30
to say about it. And I want to get into
• 9:32
our prayer time. So go over to
• 9:35
go over to jenniferlair.org. org. That
• 9:37
  was just phenomenal.
• 9:39
I wonder who that was calling me at 6
• 9:41
o'clock. Probably a spammer, right? Oh,
• 9:44
Jesus. Get to my website at
• 9:45
  jenniferlair.org
• 9:47
and get in on that article. And with
• 9:51
that, I want to pray for you today. So,
• 9:53
let's begin to praise the Lord. Let's
• 9:55
begin to lift up his name. Pray in the
• 9:56
spirit. Do whatever you do to get in the
• 9:59
presence of God. Father, we thank you.
• 10:03
We give you praise. We honor you, Jesus,
• 10:06
because you are good. There's no God
• 10:08
like you. There's no God that that that
• 10:11
watches over us so carefully and we
• 10:14
exalt you. We thank you that you're not
• 10:16
  distracted. You're watching over us
• 10:18
carefully. You're watching over us with
• 10:21
eyes of love. You love us so much and
• 10:23
you've got such a great plan for us and
• 10:25
we want to walk in that plan. We don't
• 10:27
want to be distracted from prayer. We
• 10:29
don't want to be distracted from our
• 10:30
family. We don't want to be in two
• 10:32
places at once. Physically there, but
• 10:34
somewhere else in our mind. We don't
• 10:36
want to miss the the important moments
• 10:39
of life because we're distracted by
• 10:41
worries and regrets or whatever it is.
• 10:44
So, Father, we thank you. We thank you.
• 10:47
We repent for any place that we have
• 10:50
allowed unnecessary noise to crowd out
• 10:53
your voice in the name of Jesus. And we
• 10:55
ask you, Father, to expose every subtle
• 11:00
strategy of distraction sent against our
• 11:03
life because I am quite sure that there
• 11:05
are times when we didn't even see it. We
• 11:07
did not even notice it and then we ended
• 11:09
up frustrated. And what a recipe for a
• 11:12
  bad day. Distraction, frustration,
• 11:15
pressure. We don't receive any of that
• 11:17
in the name of Jesus. In the name of
• 11:20
  Jesus, we break agreement with
• 11:22
distraction in Jesus. Amen. We renounce
• 11:25
  divided attention.
• 11:27
We don't even discern the enemy's real
• 11:29
plot because we're distracted by the
• 11:31
small plot. Oh God, we thank you,
• 11:33
Father. I bind every spirit of
• 11:36
  distraction
• 11:38
operating against our focus in the name
• 11:41
of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. And we
• 11:44
say our mind is disciplined. We submit
• 11:47
our mind to the governance of the spirit
• 11:50
of the living God. I thank you, Lord,
• 11:52
that you said you we we have access to
• 11:55
the mind of Christ. But how can we
• 11:56
access the mind of Christ when we're
• 11:59
distracted in the natural looking at all
• 12:01
the problems and the issues of life?
• 12:03
God, help us in the name of Jesus. I
• 12:06
shut down every assignment that's sent
• 12:09
to scatter our thoughts. We don't even
• 12:12
know how we started thinking about that
• 12:13
thing. Our thoughts just ran away from
• 12:15
us because we were distracted. We
• 12:18
renounced that. I shut it down in the
• 12:20
name of Jesus and I silence competing
• 12:24
voices that those voices in the spirit
• 12:27
even in the natural, the social media
• 12:30
voices, these things that compete with
• 12:32
your voice. We don't hear your voice
• 12:35
because we're distracted by these other
• 12:37
voices. God, help that not to be so
• 12:40
anymore. We choose to have laser beam
• 12:42
focus on your heart, on your presence,
• 12:44
on your word, on your ways. Your
• 12:46
thoughts are higher than our thoughts.
• 12:48
So we choose your thoughts, not the
• 12:50
devil's thoughts, not our mind running
• 12:53
away from us like a freight train. I
• 12:55
thank you, Father. I thank you that
• 12:56
clarity will arise where distraction was
• 12:59
once present present in the name of
• 13:02
  Jesus.
• 13:04
And we refuse to come down from the wall
• 13:08
of our assignment. We refuse that. We
• 13:11
will not be distracted. We choose not to
• 13:14
be distracted. Help us, Lord. give us
• 13:16
the grace not to be distracted and we
• 13:19
reject every invitation into into into
• 13:23
  drama, unnecessary conflict. People call
• 13:26
us, want to talk, want to spill the tea.
• 13:28
We say no, we don't care. That's not our
• 13:30
assignment. We are focused on what God
• 13:32
has called us to do. So I cancel
• 13:35
  emotional entanglements. Even we're
• 13:38
we're thinking about all the drama.
• 13:40
We're thinking about what they said,
• 13:41
what they did. Oh, that's diluting our
• 13:43
purpose. and we will not stand for it.
• 13:46
Rather, we stand against it in the name
• 13:49
of Jesus. And we just we just ask you,
• 13:52
Lord, to help us not to engage in
• 13:55
conversations that that just drain our
• 13:58
  strength. It's a distraction. We don't
• 14:00
need to know all that. We don't need to
• 14:02
hear the gossip. We don't need to know.
• 14:04
We don't want to know. Ignorance
• 14:06
sometimes is bliss. So help us, Father,
• 14:09
not to get entangled in conversations
• 14:12
that have no useful purpose. Lord, I
• 14:15
rebuke every spirit that attempts to
• 14:18
wear us out in our minds or wear us out
• 14:21
in our physical bodies because we got
• 14:23
distracted and we lost an hour and now
• 14:26
we have to make up for the the work that
• 14:28
we missed or we have to stay up late
• 14:30
because no, we we we I interrupt that
• 14:33
cycle in the name of Jesus. And I I say
• 14:37
we will not allow ourselves, this is our
• 14:40
confession. We will not allow ourselves
• 14:42
to be worn down by minor battles, by
• 14:44
petty offenses. I bind to digital
• 14:47
distraction in the name of Jesus. I clo
• 14:50
I close the doors in our lives to this
• 14:52
  endless scrolling, the doom scrolling.
• 14:54
We should be spending time with God, but
• 14:56
we're just checking one email. We're
• 14:58
  just scrolling. We're wasting time.
• 15:00
Lord, forgive us in the name of Jesus. I
• 15:03
take authority over over these these
• 15:05
these spirits that want to distract us
• 15:07
in our mind, getting us to think about
• 15:09
things from the past. They no longer
• 15:11
  live. It's gone. It's away. It's behind
• 15:13
us. We will not look back. Be distracted
• 15:16
by the past in the name of Jesus. I
• 15:19
thank you Lord that you help us to focus
• 15:22
on what you want us to focus on
• 15:26
in Jesus name. Help us Lord. Help us not
• 15:28
  to let our mind wander.
• 15:32
And I rebuke that mental fog that comes
• 15:34
to to just steal our time and we declare
• 15:37
we have the mind of Christ in the name
• 15:41
of Jesus. So I shut down even cycles of
• 15:44
  procrastination
• 15:46
and I cancel every assignment of delay
• 15:49
in Jesus name. I bind that that every
• 15:52
spirit that would try to divert us from
• 15:55
the the the now word that you want to
• 15:57
share with our hearts in the name of
• 15:59
Jesus. And I rebuke busyiness. That is
• 16:03
that is that is that is it's not
• 16:06
  fruitfulness. It's busyness. Lord, we
• 16:08
don't want to just be busy. We want to
• 16:09
be fruitful. We could be busy with many
• 16:11
things and never make progress in your
• 16:13
plan. So we rebuke that busyness
• 16:15
  mindset. I'm busy busy busy. No. I I I
• 16:18
thank you, Lord, that that all the the
• 16:20
the urgency if it didn't come from you.
• 16:23
We don't want it. We don't we we not
• 16:25
we're not going to bow to somebody
• 16:27
else's urgency or we're going to only
• 16:30
bow to your urgency. We will redeem the
• 16:32
time because the days are evil. And so
• 16:35
we come against all these false
• 16:36
emergencies and we refuse to fight
• 16:39
battles that you didn't assign us. Help
• 16:41
us Lord not to get involved in things
• 16:44
that you didn't call us to. And I break
• 16:46
that pull of people pleasing over your
• 16:49
  life.
• 16:50
And I come against that fear of
• 16:52
disappointing people. I break that in
• 16:54
the name of Jesus. And I thank you,
• 16:57
Father, that you would help us to value
• 16:59
your approval over man's approval in
• 17:03
Jesus name. So I cancel all exhaustion
• 17:07
rooted in misalignment in the name of
• 17:10
Jesus. I rebuke confusion around your
• 17:13
priorities. I thank you Lord that you
• 17:15
will help us daily to set our
• 17:17
  priorities, your priorities for our
• 17:19
lives. And I command divine order to be
• 17:22
set where the enemy is trying to bring
• 17:25
  demonic order, distractions. We break
• 17:27
that and we say divine order is set over
• 17:30
our schedules. And I thank you Lord. I
• 17:32
thank you that our steps are ordered by
• 17:35
you. Not by the devil, not by
• 17:37
distraction, not by people, but by you.
• 17:40
And I bind all uh uh emotional
• 17:43
  manipulation that's trying to distract
• 17:46
us. and I and I bind up all or I just
• 17:49
come against it or we just Lord help us
• 17:51
to see when there's unnecessary drama
• 17:53
  and just refuse it.
• 17:56
I thank you Lord that peace guards our
• 17:58
hearts, guards our minds from all the
• 18:00
distractions. We we choose peace. We
• 18:03
choose peace over pressure and we
• 18:05
silence that internal chatter that talks
• 18:08
us out of your promises. Those are vain
• 18:10
imaginations and we cast them down in
• 18:12
the name of Jesus. And I rebuke that
• 18:15
  overthinking that paralyzes our
• 18:18
progress. We will not have the uh
• 18:20
paralysis by analysis scenario. We will
• 18:23
obey your word. That is our confession.
• 18:26
We will be obedient. So I shut down all
• 18:29
side petty little battles that is not
• 18:31
even worth our time. I cancel arguments
• 18:33
that are designed to to to derail us in
• 18:37
Jesus name. And I rebuke that spirit of
• 18:39
offense trying to pull us off course.
• 18:43
So we break agreement with comparison.
• 18:45
Lord, we will not, it is not wise to
• 18:48
compare. So we choose not to compare
• 18:50
  ourselves with others.
• 18:52
I silence that that every voice that
• 18:55
would try to pull you out of God's will.
• 18:57
And I thank you, Lord, that you you give
• 18:59
us confidence. Oh, that's another one.
• 19:05
Another distraction. I bind it in the
• 19:08
name of Jesus. I thank you, Lord. How
• 19:10
about that? Thank you, Jesus. I thank
• 19:12
you, Lord, that that you give us grace,
• 19:15
that you give us grace, that you give us
• 19:17
the energy that we need to complete the
• 19:19
work you've called us to do. I thank
• 19:21
you, Lord. We will not overextend
• 19:23
ourselves trying to please people, but
• 19:25
we will we will stay focused on the
• 19:27
assignment at hand that you have given
• 19:29
us in our families, in our careers, in
• 19:32
our ministries. I thank you Lord that
• 19:34
you help us to have a singular focus in
• 19:38
this season that we're going moving
• 19:40
running toward the prize. So I bind
• 19:43
every spirit that seeks to divide our
• 19:46
attention. A a and we thank you Lord
• 19:49
that that that that you have you've
• 19:51
you've made your path clear and we will
• 19:54
walk in it. We will not turn to the
• 19:55
right. We will not turn to the left. I
• 19:58
rebuke mental fatigue that's rooted in
• 20:01
warfare because a distracted mind is a
• 20:04
is a fatigued mind and we will not go
• 20:06
down that path anymore. We reject the
• 20:09
pressure. All pressure that's not from
• 20:12
God. We reject it in the name of Jesus.
• 20:14
I come against all this demonic
• 20:16
criticism against our minds to distract
• 20:20
us from what you're trying to say. And I
• 20:22
thank you, Father. I thank you, Lord. I
• 20:25
thank you, Jesus. I thank you, Lord. I
• 20:28
thank you, Lord. We rebuke uh just just
• 20:30
all these voices in the spirit that that
• 20:32
that that try to send us down buddy
• 20:35
trails and and we declare that we will
• 20:37
  move strategically toward your purposes
• 20:40
in your will in the name of Jesus.
• 20:44
As a matter of fact, I shut down all
• 20:45
distractions to our prayer life right
• 20:48
now in the name of Jesus. I thank you
• 20:50
that we can intercede deeply and
• 20:53
  completely until the breakthrough
• 20:54
manifests. I rebuke all these wandering
• 20:57
thoughts that come when we try to pray.
• 20:59
All of a sudden, we remember all the
• 21:00
things we have to do today. I break that
• 21:03
in the name of Jesus. In the name of
• 21:05
Jesus. I thank you, Lord, for the grace
• 21:07
to focus to focus on the task at hand.
• 21:10
To focus on what you've called us to do,
• 21:12
to focus on what the the the plans that
• 21:15
you have for us this day. I thank you,
• 21:17
Lord. So, we break and bind up the power
• 21:19
of just being restless, distracted in
• 21:22
the name of Jesus. And I thank you,
• 21:25
Lord, for the grace of endurance to
• 21:27
  continue moving forward despite whatever
• 21:29
comes against us. Oh, the refrigerator
• 21:32
broke. I got to get it fixed. That's a
• 21:33
distraction. Oh, somebody called me and
• 21:35
  they're upset. That's a distraction. Oh,
• 21:37
Jesus, help us to discern between divine
• 21:40
  distractions and demonic distractions.
• 21:43
Lord, we want to be uh yielded to your
• 21:46
plan, your purpose, even if it if it
• 21:48
seems like an inconvenience. We want to
• 21:50
do what you want us to do in the name of
• 21:53
Jesus. I rebuke all sabotage against our
• 21:58
time in the name of Jesus. I thank you
• 22:01
Lord that that those time stealing
• 22:03
devices of the devil will not work. They
• 22:06
will not work. We will not fall for it.
• 22:08
We will not yield to it. We will not
• 22:10
yield to the wrong spirit. We will not
• 22:12
yield to the wrong voice. Help us Lord
• 22:14
to yield to you in the name of Jesus. In
• 22:17
the name of Jesus. Lord, help us to see
• 22:20
where the enemy is trying to divert us,
• 22:22
distract us at the point of breakthrough
• 22:25
so that we miss it. We miss the open
• 22:27
door. We miss the divine connection. I
• 22:29
break all those assignments now in the
• 22:31
name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus and
• 22:34
  I shut down all fearddriven
• 22:38
decisionmaking in the name of Jesus.
• 22:41
We're being distracted by the voice of
• 22:43
fear and we forbid it going forward in
• 22:45
the name of Jesus. I thank you, Lord. I
• 22:48
thank you that you've given us
• 22:49
discernment. So I rebuke all the mental
• 22:52
clutter in the name of Jesus and all
• 22:55
that inner chaos in your souls. I
• 22:57
command it to be silenced in Jesus name.
• 23:00
I thank you Lord for divine alignment
• 23:02
with your thoughts and your ways. I bind
• 23:06
distraction during study of the word.
• 23:09
And I declare revelation will flow
• 23:11
interrupted when we set our mind on you.
• 23:14
We're going to be in peace. We're going
• 23:15
to hear your voice. The revelation
• 23:17
flows. That is our intention. Lord, help
• 23:20
us get to that place. I cancel all
• 23:23
interference in our creative flow. We're
• 23:26
trying to write. We're trying to create
• 23:27
and here comes the distraction. Here
• 23:29
comes the the phone ring and here comes
• 23:31
the knock on the door. I thank you
• 23:33
father that that that all these uh
• 23:36
  external distractions are cancelled in
• 23:38
the name of Jesus. I rebuke strategic
• 23:42
interruption in Jesus name. and I shut
• 23:44
  down unexpected diversions. I bind
• 23:48
  manipulation disguised as opportunity.
• 23:50
We will not waste time going through a
• 23:53
door that you didn't open. That is our
• 23:55
confession. I declare wisdom uh to
• 23:58
discern divine timing is our portion.
• 24:00
And we rebuke impulsive agreement. We're
• 24:03
not just go to go along with what
• 24:05
everybody wants us to do. Everybody
• 24:07
wants something from us. Lord, we want
• 24:09
to do what you want us to do, not just
• 24:11
what other people want us to do. So help
• 24:14
us to discern the difference so that we
• 24:16
are not distracted in the name of Jesus.
• 24:20
In the name of Jesus, we reject all
• 24:23
  emotional hijacking. We bind wavering
• 24:26
between two opinions. We declare that we
• 24:29
are steadfast in Christ. That is our
• 24:32
stance. I thank you, Father. And we shut
• 24:34
  down distraction in worship.
• 24:37
We rebuke uh that that that wandering
• 24:40
that the every spirit that would try to
• 24:42
get us to to focus on anyone or anything
• 24:44
but you during worship. Lord, you have
• 24:47
the words of life. You're your in your
• 24:49
presence is fullness of joy and we don't
• 24:51
want to be distracted. So help us Lord
• 24:54
to discern these things in Jesus name.
• 24:56
In Jesus name. In oh and this
• 24:58
multitasking. Oh Jesus. We think we're
• 25:01
going forward faster, but we're being
• 25:03
distracted and slowing down our minds
• 25:05
through context switching. So, I reject
• 25:07
and we we we we will not we will not
• 25:10
  pursue multitasking that's not
• 25:12
absolutely necessary in the name of
• 25:15
Jesus. Lord, help us to have disciplined
• 25:18
thinking in the name of Jesus. In the
• 25:22
name of Jesus. And I rebuke all that.
• 25:24
  The subtle discouragement,
• 25:27
  the inner accusations,
• 25:29
the heaviness that clouds focus. I bind
• 25:32
it. I rebuke it in the name of Jesus. In
• 25:36
the name of Jesus. And I cancel
• 25:39
  assignments of delay
• 25:41
against us. Just every assignment of
• 25:43
delay. All of it. Whatever it's our
• 25:45
ministry or our family life, we just we
• 25:47
we we bind it. The finances, we bind it.
• 25:50
We bind the delay assignments against
• 25:51
the finances. and we rebuke exhaustion
• 25:55
rooted in warfare. It's so hard to focus
• 25:58
when we're exhausted. God, help us to
• 26:00
see the source in the name of Jesus. In
• 26:04
the name of Jesus, I thank you, Lord,
• 26:06
  for supernatural strength.
• 26:09
And I bind distraction in decisions. We
• 26:12
need to make a decision, but we're so
• 26:14
distracted. We don't want to make the
• 26:16
right the wrong decision. So, we don't
• 26:18
make any decision. and then the decision
• 26:20
is made for us because we didn't make it
• 26:23
and it's not always a good one. So help
• 26:24
us get out of that loop, God, where we
• 26:26
we we're just waiting to to make the
• 26:28
right decision, but we're distracted and
• 26:30
now here it comes. The choice has been
• 26:32
made. Father, help us. Help us, Lord. I
• 26:36
rebuke all time theft. And I cancel
• 26:39
  agenda overload, schedule overload
• 26:43
in the name of Jesus. In the name, we we
• 26:46
  break agreement with disorganization.
• 26:48
  We're distracting ourselves. And we
• 26:50
thank you for divine order in the name
• 26:53
of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, we thank
• 26:56
you, Lord, for sharp focus in the name
• 26:59
of Jesus. And and and we just we declare
• 27:02
  just just
• 27:04
all this distraction when we're trying
• 27:06
to play even a vacation. We're trying to
• 27:08
plan something, trying to plan a
• 27:10
project, we're trying to plan a sermon,
• 27:12
  we're trying to plan a vacation, we're
• 27:14
trying to plan a business, and all this
• 27:15
distraction comes and we never make
• 27:17
progress. I break that in the name of
• 27:19
Jesus. In the name of Jesus. And all
• 27:22
  these timewasting cycles, I cancel
• 27:25
those. And every hidden diversion, I
• 27:27
rebuke it in the name of Jesus. In the
• 27:30
name of Jesus. I bind up all spiritual
• 27:33
interference in the name of Jesus. And I
• 27:37
cancel all the emotional turbulence sent
• 27:40
to distract us. I thank you Lord. We
• 27:42
give you the reigns of our heart. I
• 27:45
thank you Lord. Help us not to
• 27:47
  overcommit.
• 27:48
Help us Lord to focus. Help us not to
• 27:51
take on responsibilities that you didn't
• 27:53
call us to. Help us Lord not to make
• 27:56
decisions based on guilt. All of this
• 27:59
  are distractionary, diversionary
• 28:01
tactics. And we won't we don't want to
• 28:03
fall for it anymore in the name of
• 28:06
Jesus. So I cancel misdirection. I
• 28:09
  declare we are moving forward
• 28:11
undistracted. I bind every spirit of
• 28:13
weariness in the name of Jesus. And I
• 28:16
thank you Lord for the grace to endure,
• 28:18
the grace to finish strong in the name
• 28:20
of Jesus. I say distraction is is is is
• 28:24
uprooted in the name of Jesus. And we
• 28:28
thank you Lord. We declare we are
• 28:29
building what you called us to build.
• 28:32
And we decree that we are doing a great
• 28:34
work and we will not come down. So we
• 28:37
give you all the praise, all the honor,
• 28:40
all the glory. We magnify your holy
• 28:43
name. There's no one like you, Jesus.
• 28:45
So, we put our focus and our attention
• 28:47
on you in Jesus name. Amen. And amen.
• 28:52
  Come on, somebody.
• 29:03
  Amen.
• 29:04
Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Thank
• 29:08
you, Jesus. Don't be distracted now.
• 29:14
Amen. What is all this with all this
• 29:17
distractions that that you just can't
• 29:19
make this stuff up? You just can't make
• 29:22
this stuff up. Somebody calling me. I
• 29:26
think the second one was an alarm.
• 29:29
  I I uh and I don't I don't have an alarm
• 29:33
  set for right now.
• 29:36
Would have you ever in the 14 years of
• 29:38
this prayer broadcast heard an alarm go
• 29:40
  off.
• 29:43
I don't have an alarm. I must have
• 29:44
actually hit it or something. I guess
• 29:46
that second one was an alarm. Anyway,
• 29:49
I proved my point. Distractions and
• 29:51
especially during prayer to all my
• 29:53
  awakening prayer leaders out there,
• 29:55
don't be distracted. Some of you, you
• 29:57
you you know, you're supposed to be a
• 29:58
part of Awakening Prayer Hubs and you're
• 30:01
just so distracted by it's not your
• 30:03
fault, but you're distracted by all the
• 30:05
affairs of life and you're like, "Well,
• 30:08
  I now's not a good time. Now's not a
• 30:10
good time." Well, if you wait for it to
• 30:11
be a good time, it's never going to be a
• 30:12
good time because the enemy is
• 30:14
  intentionally distracting you from what
• 30:15
you know you're supposed to do. And that
• 30:17
could be starting a prayer hub. That
• 30:18
could be uh anything in your life.
• 30:22
It could be anything at all. It could be
• 30:23
starting a business. and you're waiting
• 30:25
for the right time. Well, the right time
• 30:29
is when you know you're supposed to do
• 30:31
it because God has enlightened your
• 30:32
eyes. That's the right time. That's the
• 30:34
right time. That's the right time to to
• 30:36
to uh start on a new exercise program.
• 30:40
So many of you, this happens to me. I
• 30:41
want to exercise and I get distracted.
• 30:43
Something comes up right before I'm
• 30:45
supposed to go get on that treadmill or
• 30:47
  start lifting those weights. Something
• 30:49
comes up that is a fire. It's got to get
• 30:51
dealt with. Guess what? It can burn till
• 30:53
I get done. I'm just saying we get so
• 30:56
  distracted by other people's
• 30:57
emergencies. And you know, you know,
• 31:01
listen, it can probably wait till you're
• 31:02
done exercising. It can probably wait
• 31:04
until you're finished with your meeting.
• 31:06
It can probably wait, listen, until
• 31:08
you're finished with your dinner with
• 31:10
  your family.
• 31:12
  Hello. Amen.
• 31:16
And some of you have been so distracted
• 31:17
that you have meant to sign up for the
• 31:20
  Angels of War
• 31:22
uh free training for the last two
• 31:25
months. I've been talking about this. I
• 31:26
stopped talking about it for a couple
• 31:27
weeks because I mean I'm not going to,
• 31:30
you know, beat you on the head to get
• 31:33
you to sign up for something free,
• 31:37
but I mean I'm looking at it here. Uh um
• 31:42
this is your this is I probably won't
• 31:44
mention it again. And I might mention it
• 31:45
in passing, but I've been talking about
• 31:48
  this now for
• 31:51
  two months.
• 31:55
The Angels of War. It's a free online
• 31:57
  event. Now, you can upgrade
• 32:00
and choose the uh plus version and you
• 32:02
  can keep the training forever
• 32:08
then. And you can also get a book with
• 32:10
it for free if you want if you upgrade.
• 32:13
So, check those things out. I don't want
• 32:15
to keep beating a Well, it's not a dead
• 32:17
horse. It's a live horse. The event
• 32:18
hasn't happened yet, but if you're
• 32:20
watching this in the future, just, you
• 32:22
  know, you go to uh
• 32:23
  jenniferlair.org/angelsofwar,
• 32:32
and that will direct you to it because
• 32:33
  it won't be live anymore,
• 32:36
but it also won't be free anymore.
• 32:39
So, go in there and get that. I'm
• 32:40
teaching. It's five. It's five sessions.
• 32:42
  They'll probably be about 30 minutes a
• 32:43
piece, 40 minutes a piece, I'm not sure.
• 32:45
It's going to be a long uh deal. So, get
• 32:49
in on what you can. Go to
• 32:50
  jenniferclair.org/angelsofwar.
• 32:54
And uh yeah, I probably won't mention it
• 32:57
  to this degree again.
• 33:02
Trying to see how many people are signed
• 33:04
  up for it.
• 33:07
I probably won't do another one of these
• 33:10
  uh mega trainings
• 33:12
uh till later in the year. I've done
• 33:15
three of them in a row and I'm really
• 33:18
trying to get this out to the nations. I
• 33:19
know there's a lot of people around the
• 33:20
world that uh they need this kind of
• 33:22
stuff and I'm trying to make it easily
• 33:24
accessible, but it looks like your
• 33:26
appetite for these has declined because
• 33:29
there's not as many people signed up for
• 33:31
this one as the last one. So I think
• 33:32
that the appetite is declining and so if
• 33:36
  it's not serving people then I don't
• 33:38
want to keep doing it because why that
• 33:40
becomes a what it could be it can become
• 33:42
  a distraction. I like doing them. I
• 33:44
think it's fun but it's a whole lot of
• 33:47
  work.
• 33:49
Whole lot of work but if you're going to
• 33:51
get in on that do it at
• 33:52
  jenniferlair.org/angelsofwar
• 33:54
  /angelsofwar
• 33:56
and the unmasking human watchers. That's
• 33:59
not free, but it is live now. The
• 34:03
unmasking human watchers. And if you're
• 34:06
going to get on in on that, please do
• 34:08
that now. If you still want to get the
• 34:10
bonuses, you still want to get the uh
• 34:12
  early bird price at launch.
• 34:20
So, one of these pop-ups didn't get
• 34:21
taken down and it was supposed to get
• 34:23
taken down and it didn't get taken down.
• 34:25
So, now I got to go figure out how to
• 34:26
get it taken down. Um, so go but but
• 34:30
  check that out.
• 34:32
I'm trying to find it right here.
