1:33
Thanks

1:33

1:34
If
1:35
you
1:35
want
1:35
to
1:35
find
1:35
out
1:35
more
1:36
information
1:36
about
1:36
us,
1:37
just
1:37
head
1:37
over
1:37

1:37

1:41
thanks
1:41
for

1:42
Whether
1:42
you're
1:42
listening
1:43
on
1:43
the
1:43
talk
1:43
media
1:43
network,
1:44
on
1:44
the
1:44
radio
1:44
or
1:44
the
1:45
podcast
1:46
or
1:46
anywhere
1:47
else
1:47
streaming,
1:48
we
1:48
have
1:48
a
1:48
great
1:49
subject.
1:49
And
1:50
for
1:50
you
1:50
guys
1:50
out
1:50
there,
1:51
this
1:52
doesn't
1:52
even
1:52
matter
1:52
if
1:53
you're
1:53
living
1:53
in
1:53
a
1:53
rental,
1:54
a
1:54
home,
1:55
a
1:55
condo.
1:56
This
1:56
applies
1:57
to
1:57
just
1:58
about
1:58
anyone
1:59
out
1:59
there.
2:00
We've
2:00
got
2:01
Ken
2:01
Aaron
2:02
in
2:02
the
2:02
studio
2:02
today.
2:02
We're
2:03
talking
2:04
virtual
2:04
home
2:05
inventory.
2:05
And
2:06
you
2:06
got
2:06
to
2:06
check
2:06
out
2:06
his
2:06
website
2:07
over
2:07
at
2:07
Virtual
2:07

2:07
Inventory.
2:10
Ken,
2:10
thanks
2:10
for
2:10
joining
2:11
me
2:11
today.
2:11
Thanks
2:12
so
2:12
much,
2:12
Eric.
2:12
It's
2:13
great
2:13
to
2:13
be
2:13
here,
2:14
man.
2:14
You
2:14
are
2:15
providing
2:15
a
2:16
service
2:16
out
2:17
there
2:17
for
2:17
people.
2:18
And
2:19
as
2:19
someone
2:19
who
2:19
has
2:20
had
2:20
a
2:20
break
2:20
in
2:21
before
2:21
and
2:21
it
2:21
was
2:21
a
2:21
lot
2:21
of
2:22
years
2:22
ago
2:22
and
2:22
I
2:22
lost
2:23
all
2:23
my
2:23
tools
2:24
except
2:24
for
2:24
my
2:24
big
2:24
heavy
2:25
toolbox
2:25
that
2:26
clearly
2:26
there
2:26
wasn't
2:26
enough
2:27
people
2:27
to
2:27
haul
2:27
it
2:27
off.
2:28
It
2:28
was
2:28
the
2:29
only
2:29
thing
2:29
that
2:29
got
2:29
left.
2:30
I've
2:30
had
2:31
a
2:31
big
2:31
loss
2:32
and
2:32
I
2:32
wish
2:33
I
2:33
had
2:33
taken
2:34
better
2:34
care
2:35
of
2:35
documenting
2:35
what
2:36
I
2:36
had
2:36
because
2:37
months
2:37
later
2:38
I'm
2:38
going
2:38
for
2:38
a
2:38
tool
2:39
and
2:39
I'm
2:39
like,
2:40
I
2:40
didn't
2:40
replace
2:41
it.
2:41
Yep.
2:42
Oh,
2:43
yeah.
2:43
No,
2:43
that's
2:43
always
2:44
the
2:44
case.
2:44
Every
2:45
person
2:45
I've
2:45
talked
2:46
to
2:46
that
2:46
has
2:46
had
2:47
some
2:47
kind
2:47
of
2:48
a
2:48
major
2:48
loss.
2:49
It's
2:49
the
2:49
same
2:50
story
2:50
every
2:50
time.
2:51
They
2:51
didn't
2:51
have
2:51
an
2:52
inventory,
2:52
the
2:53
settlement
2:53
was
2:53
really
2:54
low
2:54
and
2:55
they
2:55
didn't
2:55
put
2:55
everything
2:56
on
2:56
the
2:56
claim
2:57
itself.
2:57
So
2:57
that
2:58
when
2:58
they
2:58
went
2:58
to
2:59
replace
2:59
things,
2:59
it's
3:00
after
3:00
the
3:00
fact.
3:00
They're
3:01
remembering
3:01
like
3:01
you,
3:02
the
3:02
tool
3:02
or
3:02
the
3:03
pan
3:03
or
3:03
the
3:03
artwork
3:04
or
3:04
whatever.
3:05
It
3:05
was
3:06
something
3:06
they
3:06
forgot
3:07
about
3:07
and
3:07
remembered
3:07
when
3:08
it's
3:08
way
3:08
too
3:08
late.
3:09
Yeah,
3:09
I
3:09
think
3:09
I'm
3:09
lucky
3:10
because
3:10
with
3:10
my
3:11
television
3:11
show,
3:11
I
3:11
have
3:12
documented
3:13
about
3:13
3/4
3:13
of
3:14
my
3:14
house
3:14
Way
3:14
too
3:14
much
3:15
as
3:15
I'm
3:16
doing
3:16
projects
3:16
around
3:16
it.
3:17
But
3:17
it's
3:17
the
3:17
rare
3:17
instance.
3:18
Right.
3:18
Nobody
3:19
opens
3:19
up
3:19
the
3:19
drawers.
3:20
You
3:20
can
3:20
even
3:20
have
3:21
a
3:21
picture
3:21
of
3:21
your
3:21
kitchen.
3:22
But
3:22
to
3:23
go
3:23
back.
3:23
And
3:23
I
3:24
can't
3:24
go
3:24
back
3:24
and
3:25
say,
3:25
what
3:25
was
3:25
in
3:25
the
3:26
third
3:26
drawer
3:26
down
3:27
to
3:27
the
3:27
left?
3:28
Exactly.
3:28
Perfect
3:29
inventory.
3:29
I'm
3:29
sorry,
3:30
you
3:30
can't.
3:31
No.
3:31
And
3:31
that's
3:32
really
3:32
the
3:32
case.
3:32
It
3:32
is
3:32
with
3:33
everybody.
3:34
And
3:35
the
3:35
thing
3:35
is
3:35
that
3:35
it's
3:36
key
3:36
to
3:36
have
3:37
that.
3:37
And
3:37
the
3:37
reason
3:38
is
3:39
when
3:39
it
3:39
comes
3:39
to
3:39
your
3:40
insurance
3:40
and
3:40
90%,
3:41
I
3:41
believe,
3:41
at
3:42
least,
3:42
of
3:42
the
3:42
policies
3:42
out
3:43
there
3:43
are
3:43
replacement
3:44
cost.
3:45
To
3:45
get
3:45
that
3:45
replacement
3:46
cost,
3:46
you
3:46
have
3:47
to
3:47
prove
3:47
what
3:47
you
3:47
had.
3:48
And
3:49
that's
3:49
proof
3:49
of
3:49
possession,
3:50
quality,
3:51
and
3:51
condition.
3:52
The
3:52
only
3:53
way
3:53
to
3:53
do
3:53
that
3:53
is
3:53
with
3:54
a
3:54
visible
3:55
record
3:55
of
3:55
it,
3:56
photographs,
3:56
video,
3:57
etc.
3:58
But
3:58
you
3:58
also
3:58
need
3:59
brands,
3:59
model
4:00
numbers,
4:00
and
4:00
all
4:00
that
4:00
stuff.
4:01
Yeah,
4:02
that
4:02
is
4:02
great.
4:02
So
4:03
how
4:03
does
4:03
this
4:03
work
4:03
with
4:03
you
4:03
as
4:04
you
4:04
go
4:04
around?
4:04
You
4:05
guys
4:05
have
4:05
a
4:05
great
4:06
service
4:06
that
4:06
you
4:06
do
4:06
around
4:07
the
4:07
country,
4:07
and
4:08
I
4:08
think
4:08
that's
4:08
super
4:08
cool.
4:09
How
4:09
does
4:10
this
4:10
work?
4:11
So
4:11
what
4:12
I
4:12
do
4:12
is
4:12
I
4:13
combine
4:14
3D
4:15
imagery
4:16
and
4:17
photography
4:18
to
4:18
create
4:18
a
4:18
complete
4:19
digital
4:19
copy
4:20
of
4:20
a
4:20
home
4:20
and
4:20
its
4:21
contents.
4:22
So
4:22
we've
4:23
seen
4:23
the
4:23
3D
4:24
virtual
4:24
tours
4:24
that
4:25
Realtors
4:25
use
4:26
to
4:26
show
4:26
houses.
4:27
Same
4:27
technology.
4:28
I
4:28
only
4:29
take
4:29
it
4:29
a
4:29
lot
4:29
further.
4:30
So
4:30
I
4:31
start
4:31
with
4:31
a
4:31
3D
4:31
scan
4:32
of
4:32
the
4:32
entire
4:32
house.
4:33
Then
4:34
I
4:34
go
4:34
back
4:35
through
4:35
the
4:35
entire
4:35
house
4:36
and
4:36
photograph
4:37
the
4:37
contents
4:37
of
4:37
every
4:38
cabinet,
4:38
closet,
4:39
drawer.
4:40
I
4:40
will
4:40
go
4:41
into
4:42
getting
4:42
the
4:42
serial
4:42
numbers
4:43
and
4:43
model
4:43
numbers
4:44
for
4:44
appliances,
4:45
H
4:45
Vac,
4:45
anything
4:46
of
4:46
value.
4:47
And
4:47
if
4:47
the
4:47
client
4:48
has
4:48
artwork
4:49
and
4:49
stuff
4:49
that
4:49
needs
4:49
to
4:50
be
4:50
more
4:51
fully
4:51
documented,
4:52
I
4:52
can
4:52
do
4:52
all
4:52
that.
4:53
Whether
4:53
it's
4:53
signatures
4:54
for
4:54
jewelry
4:55
makers,
4:55
marks,
4:56
all
4:56
that
4:56
stuff
4:56
that
4:56
matters,
4:57
that's
4:58
all
4:58
combined.
4:59
All
4:59
that
5:00
information
5:00
is
5:00
then
5:00
embedded
5:01
back
5:01
into
5:02
the
5:02
3D
5:02
virtual
5:03
tour.
5:03
So
5:03
as
5:03
you're
5:04
going
5:04
through
5:04
the
5:04
house,
5:04
like
5:04
you
5:05
walk
5:05
through
5:05
with
5:05
the
5:05
realtor,
5:06
in
5:06
my
5:07
case,
5:07
you
5:07
can
5:07
click
5:07
on
5:07
a
5:08
cabinet
5:08
and
5:08
it'll
5:09
show
5:09
you
5:09
a
5:09
gallery
5:09
of
5:09
what's
5:10
in
5:10
that
5:10
cabinet
5:10
or
5:11
drawer
5:11
or
5:11
closet.
5:12
Nice.
5:13
That
5:13
is
5:13
cool.
5:14
And
5:14
it
5:14
comes
5:14
down
5:14
to
5:14
art.
5:15
It's
5:15
an
5:15
interesting
5:15
one
5:16
because
5:16
you
5:16
can
5:16
go
5:16
through
5:16
and
5:17
snap
5:17
a
5:17
quick
5:17
picture.
5:18
But
5:19
if
5:19
it's
5:19
a.
5:19
If
5:20
it's
5:20
a
5:20
print
5:20
or
5:21
it's
5:21
a
5:21
lithograph
5:22
or
5:22
it's
5:22
an
5:22
actual
5:23
canvas
5:24
painting
5:24
that
5:24
was
5:24
a
5:24
limited
5:25
edition
5:25
that
5:25
you
5:25
bought
5:25
at
5:26
a
5:26
gallery
5:26
many
5:26
times,
5:27
there's
5:27
a
5:27
certificate,
5:28
proof
5:28
of
5:28
authenticity
5:29
that
5:29
maybe
5:30
is
5:30
on
5:30
the
5:30
back
5:30
of
5:30
it
5:31
or
5:31
in
5:31
a
5:31
separate
5:31
thing.
5:32
You
5:32
need
5:32
to
5:32
keep
5:32
all
5:33
that
5:33
stuff
5:34
so
5:34
you
5:34
can
5:34
prove
5:34
that.
5:35
Yeah,
5:35
this
5:35
isn't
5:35
just
5:35
something
5:36
that
5:36
I
5:36
Bought
5:36
from
5:37
a
5:37
street
5:37
vendor
5:37
someplace.
5:38
This
5:38
is
5:38
actually
5:38
the
5:39
real
5:39
deal.
5:40
Exactly.
5:40
And
5:41
I'm
5:41
surprised
5:41
at
5:42
how
5:42
many
5:42
times
5:42
people
5:43
have
5:43
collectibles
5:44
like
5:44
that.
5:44
Art,
5:44
antiques,
5:45
etc.
5:46
All
5:46
of
5:47
those
5:47
do
5:47
require
5:48
a
5:48
separate
5:48
insurance
5:49
policy.
5:50
The
5:50
there's
5:50
limitations
5:51
on
5:51
your
5:51
home
5:51
insurance
5:52
on
5:52
art
5:52
and
5:52
those
5:53
things.
5:53
So
5:53
they
5:54
need
5:54
a
5:54
separate
5:54
policy.
5:54
And
5:55
just
5:55
how
5:55
many
5:55
people
5:56
have
5:56
not
5:56
gone
5:56
to
5:56
that
5:57
point
5:57
and
5:58
done
5:58
that
5:58
documentation
5:59
is
5:59
surprising
6:00
because
6:00
there
6:00
is
6:00
a
6:00
lot
6:01
of
6:01
value
6:01
in
6:01
there.
6:02
And
6:02
one
6:02
key
6:03
thing
6:03
to
6:03
consider
6:04
when
6:05
it
6:05
comes
6:05
to
6:06
an
6:06
insurance
6:06
claim,
6:07
the
6:07
idea
6:08
is
6:08
not
6:08
to
6:09
replace
6:09
your
6:09
stuff.
6:10
The
6:10
idea
6:11
is
6:11
to
6:11
recover
6:12
at
6:12
the
6:12
lifestyle
6:13
you
6:13
had
6:14
before
6:14
the
6:14
loss.
6:15
And
6:15
the
6:16
only
6:16
way
6:16
to
6:16
do
6:16
that
6:16
is
6:17
to
6:17
have
6:17
the
6:17
proof.
6:18
With
6:18
my
6:18
house,
6:19
it's
6:19
been
6:19
very
6:19
interesting
6:20
and
6:20
I've
6:20
had.
6:20
I've
6:21
got
6:21
a
6:21
great
6:21
agent
6:22
who's
6:22
a
6:22
buddy
6:22
of
6:23
mine
6:23
that
6:23
I
6:23
used
6:24
to
6:24
work
6:24
with.
6:24
So
6:24
it's
6:25
great.
6:25
But
6:25
I
6:26
sat
6:26
down
6:26
when
6:26
I
6:27
changed
6:27
policies
6:27
on
6:27
my
6:28
home
6:28
a
6:28
few
6:28
years
6:28
ago
6:28
and
6:29
I
6:29
looked
6:29
at
6:29
it,
6:29
I'm
6:30
like,
6:30
oh
6:31
my
6:31
gosh.
6:31
I
6:32
did
6:32
this
6:32
online.
6:33
I
6:33
didn't
6:33
talk
6:33
to
6:34
anybody.
6:34
I
6:35
went
6:35
on
6:35
to,
6:35
we're
6:35
not
6:35
going
6:35
to
6:36
name
6:36
name
6:36
brands
6:36
here.
6:36
But
6:36
I
6:37
jumped
6:37
online,
6:37
filled
6:37
out
6:38
a
6:38
policy,
6:38
went
6:38
cool,
6:39
got
6:39
my
6:39
homeowner's
6:40
policy
6:40
ready
6:40
to
6:40
go.
6:41
Then
6:42
I
6:42
started
6:42
thinking,
6:42
wait
6:43
a
6:43
minute,
6:43
I've
6:43
done
6:43
all
6:44
these
6:44
remodels
6:44
and
6:45
things
6:45
since
6:45
then.
6:46
And
6:47
we
6:47
had
6:48
to
6:48
really
6:48
go
6:48
back
6:48
to
6:49
the
6:49
insurance
6:49
company
6:50
and
6:50
say,
6:51
even
6:51
though
6:52
that
6:52
I'm
6:52
maxed
6:52
out
6:53
on
6:53
what
6:53
I
6:53
could
6:53
put
6:53
on
6:53
my
6:54
house,
6:55
do
6:55
you
6:55
realize
6:55
I
6:56
can't
6:56
do
6:56
it
6:56
for
6:56
what
6:57
you're
6:57
trying
6:57
to
6:57
do?
6:58
I
6:58
don't
6:58
have
6:58
this
6:58
big
6:59
extravagant
6:59
mansion.
7:00
This
7:00
house
7:00
is
7:01
1300
7:02
square
7:02
feet.
7:02
It's
7:03
not
7:03
big,
7:03
but
7:04
I've
7:04
got
7:05
higher
7:05
quality
7:05
stuff
7:05
in
7:06
there.
7:06
And
7:06
doing
7:06
the
7:06
mental
7:07
math,
7:07
I'm
7:07
like,
7:08
even
7:08
at
7:08
what
7:09
that
7:09
company
7:10
was
7:10
going
7:10
to
7:10
do
7:11
wasn't
7:11
going
7:11
to
7:12
get
7:12
me
7:12
back
7:12
into
7:12
the
7:13
same
7:13
lifestyle
7:13
and
7:14
the
7:14
same
7:14
things
7:14
that
7:14
I'd
7:14
put
7:15
in
7:15
there.
7:16
No.
7:16
And
7:16
that
7:17
you
7:17
bring
7:18
up
7:18
a
7:18
point
7:18
which
7:19
is
7:19
really
7:19
critical
7:20
and
7:20
that
7:20
is
7:21
with
7:21
a
7:21
claim,
7:22
you're
7:22
not
7:22
just
7:23
replacing
7:23
possessions.
7:24
It's
7:25
the
7:25
house,
7:25
the
7:25
structure.
7:26
And
7:26
it's
7:27
really
7:27
vital
7:28
to
7:28
capture
7:29
the
7:29
fixtures
7:30
and
7:30
finishes
7:31
that
7:32
are
7:32
in
7:32
the
7:32
house.
7:33
Because
7:33
there's
7:34
so
7:34
much
7:34
money
7:34
involved
7:35
in
7:35
that.
7:35
That's
7:35
why,
7:36
with
7:36
what
7:36
I
7:36
do,
7:37
because
7:37
it
7:37
captures
7:38
everything,
7:38
ceilings,
7:39
floors,
7:39
you
7:39
name
7:41
shows
7:41
the,
7:42
the
7:42
quality
7:42
of
7:43
the
7:43
build
7:43
of
7:43
the
7:43
house
7:43
and
7:44
in
7:44
addition
7:44
to
7:44
that,
7:44
the
7:45
advantage
7:45
of
7:45
the
7:45
three.
7:47
So
7:47
it
7:48
builds
7:48
what
7:48
it
7:48
calls
7:48
a
7:49
point
7:49
cloud,
7:49
which
7:49
is
7:50
how
7:50
it
7:50
defines
7:50
this
7:51
3D
7:51
space.
7:52
You
7:52
can
7:53
take,
7:53
we
7:53
can
7:53
take
7:54
and
7:55
export
7:55
that
7:56
Point
7:56
cloud
7:56
and
7:57
give
7:57
it
7:57
to
7:57
an
7:57
architect
7:58
so
7:58
that
7:58
if
7:59
you
7:59
have
7:59
a
7:59
loss,
8:00
we
8:00
can
8:01
give
8:01
your
8:01
this
8:01
to
8:02
the
8:02
architect.
8:03
You
8:03
have
8:04
97%
8:05
accurate
8:06
plans
8:07
to
8:07
start
8:07
with
8:07
and
8:07
the
8:08
architect
8:08
can
8:08
then
8:08
just
8:09
tweak
8:09
it.
8:10
Ah,
8:10
that
8:10
is
8:11
so
8:11
brilliant.
8:11
Because
8:11
think
8:12
about
8:12
a
8:12
kitchen,
8:12
right?
8:13
Let's
8:13
say
8:13
you
8:13
just
8:13
got
8:13
done
8:14
through
8:14
a
8:14
kitchen
8:14
remodel
8:15
and
8:15
maybe
8:15
you
8:15
have
8:15
a
8:16
kitchen
8:16
fire
8:16
that
8:16
completely
8:17
totals
8:18
that
8:18
space
8:18
is
8:18
a
8:18
great
8:18
example.
8:20
And
8:20
insurance
8:21
company
8:21
goes,
8:21
cool.
8:21
Kitchen
8:22
faucet.
8:23
Kitchen
8:23
faucet
8:24
could
8:24
be
8:24
something
8:24
that's
8:24
$50
8:25
on
8:26
Amazon.com
8:27
or
8:28
it
8:28
could
8:28
be
8:28
$11,000
8:30
through
8:30
Waterstone.
8:31
Yes.
8:32
And
8:32
there's
8:32
a
8:33
big
8:33
difference
8:33
in
8:33
between
8:34
those.
8:34
And
8:35
so
8:35
if
8:35
you
8:35
don't
8:36
have
8:36
that
8:36
stuff
8:36
documented,
8:37
you
8:37
go,
8:37
oh,
8:38
really?
8:38
It
8:38
was
8:38
this.
8:39
There's
8:40
a
8:40
big
8:40
difference
8:40
there.
8:41
And
8:41
that
8:41
could
8:41
be
8:41
an
8:41
incredible
8:42
hit
8:42
as
8:43
far
8:43
as
8:43
the
8:43
quality
8:44
that
8:44
you're
8:44
trying
8:44
to
8:44
put
8:44
back
8:45
into
8:45
that.
8:46
Exactly.
8:46
And
8:46
that's
8:47
why,
8:47
whether
8:47
you
8:47
are
8:48
hiring
8:48
a
8:48
contractor
8:49
to
8:49
do
8:49
this
8:49
work
8:50
for
8:50
you
8:50
or
8:50
you're
8:51
doing
8:51
it
8:51
yourself,
8:51
because
8:52
I'm
8:52
not
8:52
that
8:53
guy.
8:53
But
8:53
I
8:54
know
8:54
lots
8:54
of
8:54
really
8:54
skilled
8:55
people
8:55
who
8:55
do
8:56
a
8:56
lot
8:56
of
8:56
work
8:56
on
8:56
their
8:56
house
8:57
and
8:57
it's
8:58
vital
8:58
to
8:59
a
9:00
document
9:00
what
9:00
you
9:01
did.
9:01
So
9:01
show
9:01
a
9:02
before
9:02
and
9:02
after.
9:02
Just
9:02
take
9:03
some
9:03
quick
9:03
photos
9:03
with
9:04
your
9:04
camera,
9:05
with
9:05
your
9:05
phone,
9:06
but
9:06
also
9:07
save
9:07
all
9:07
of
9:08
those
9:08
receipts.
9:08
The
9:09
receipts,
9:09
I
9:09
cannot
9:10
tell
9:10
you
9:10
how
9:10
important
9:10
they
9:10
are.
9:11
And
9:11
I
9:12
am
9:12
just
9:12
as
9:12
guilty
9:13
as
9:13
everybody
9:13
else.
9:14
Before
9:14
I
9:14
came
9:14
up
9:15
with
9:15
developing
9:15
this
9:16
company,
9:16
I
9:17
did
9:17
not
9:17
have
9:17
an
9:17
home
9:18
inventory.
9:18
I
9:18
did
9:18
not
9:19
save
9:19
receipts.
9:19
I'm
9:20
just
9:20
as
9:20
guilty.
9:21
Yeah,
9:21
my
9:21
first
9:22
home
9:22
inventory
9:22
was
9:22
my
9:23
first
9:23
prototype.
9:24
But
9:24
now,
9:25
yeah,
9:26
now
9:26
everything
9:27
is
9:28
documented
9:28
and
9:29
saved.
9:29
And
9:29
it's
9:30
so
9:30
important.
9:30
It
9:31
really
9:31
is.
9:31
And
9:32
with
9:32
cloud
9:32
storage
9:33
and
9:33
things
9:33
like
9:33
that
9:34
these
9:34
days,
9:34
it's
9:34
so.
9:35
It's
9:35
so
9:35
easy
9:35
to
9:36
put
9:36
it
9:36
in
9:36
multiple
9:36
places.
9:37
So
9:37
you
9:37
have
9:37
that.
9:38
Not
9:38
only
9:38
maybe
9:39
do
9:39
you
9:39
have
9:39
a
9:39
copy
9:39
and
9:39
a
9:40
safe,
9:40
but
9:40
you
9:40
could
9:40
have
9:40
it
9:40
up
9:41
in
9:41
the
9:41
cloud
9:41
and
9:41
it's
9:41
going
9:41
to
9:42
be
9:42
there
9:42
forever.
9:43
Exactly.
9:43
And
9:44
my
9:44
system
9:44
or
9:45
my
9:45
service
9:45
is
9:46
cloud
9:46
based.
9:46
You
9:47
access
9:47
it
9:47
from
9:48
any
9:48
device.
9:49
So
9:49
your
9:49
phone,
9:50
your
9:50
tablet,
9:51
computer.
9:52
Now
9:52
if
9:52
you
9:52
lost
9:53
all
9:53
those
9:54
in
9:54
the
9:54
fire,
9:55
all
9:56
you
9:56
have
9:56
to
9:56
do
9:56
is
9:57
get
9:57
access
9:57
to
9:58
a
9:58
device
9:58
to
9:58
get
9:59
to
9:59
it.
9:59
And
9:59
you
9:59
bring
9:59
up
10:00
the
10:00
key
10:00
point
10:00
of
10:00
backing
10:00
it
10:01
up
10:01
in
10:01
the
10:01
cloud.
10:02
One
10:02
example
10:02
was
10:03
friends
10:03
who
10:03
went
10:03
through
10:04
a
10:04
personal
10:04
loss
10:05
out
10:05
in
10:05
Bend.
10:06
They
10:06
literally
10:07
woke
10:07
up
10:07
in
10:07
the
10:07
middle
10:07
of
10:08
the
10:08
night,
10:09
house
10:09
totally
10:10
engulfed
10:10
in
10:10
flames.
10:11
All
10:11
they
10:12
had
10:12
time
10:12
to
10:13
do
10:13
was
10:13
run
10:13
out
10:13
the
10:14
door.
10:14
Wallets,
10:14
phones,
10:15
everything
10:15
was
10:15
left
10:16
behind.
10:16
And
10:17
what
10:17
was
10:17
left
10:18
was
10:18
a
10:19
few
10:19
half
10:19
walls
10:20
standing
10:20
and
10:20
a
10:20
pile
10:20
of
10:21
ashes.
10:21
Don't
10:22
move.
10:22
We'll
10:22
be
10:22
back
10:23
faster
10:23
than
10:23
your
10:23
neighbor
10:24
borrows
10:24
your
10:24
brand
10:25
new
10:25
lawnmower.
10:26
Around
10:26
the
10:27
house.
10:27
We'll
10:27
be
10:27
right
10:28
back.
12:05
The
12:05
kids
12:06
these
12:06
days
12:06
will
12:07
around
12:08
the
12:08
stand
12:11
what
12:11
it's
12:12
like
12:12
to
12:12
play
12:12
an
12:13
instrument
12:14
like
12:14
being
12:15
a
12:16
fan.
12:17
What's
12:17
up?
12:17
This
12:17
is
12:17
Sticks
12:18
it
12:18
in
12:18
ya
12:18
and
12:19
Satchel
12:19
from
12:20
Steel
12:20
Panther
12:21
and
12:21
you
12:21
are.
12:22
Listening
12:22
to
12:23
around
12:23
the
12:24
house
12:24
with
12:24
Eric
12:24
G.
12:25
Yeah,
12:26
we
12:27
love
12:27
Eric
12:27
G.
12:28
And
12:28
you
12:28
should
12:29
too.
12:32
Welcome
12:32
back
12:32
to
12:32
the
12:33
around
12:33
the
12:33
House
12:33
show.
12:34
This
12:34
hour
12:35
is
12:35
brought
12:35
to
12:35
you
12:35
by
12:36
our
12:36
friends
12:36
at
12:36
Monument
12:37
Grills.
12:37
If
12:38
you
12:38
are
12:38
needing
12:38
a
12:38
new
12:39
grill,
12:39
check
12:40
them
12:40
out@monument
12:41
grills.com
12:42
now
12:42
let's
12:43
get
12:43
back
12:43
to
12:44
tracking
12:44
down
12:44
all
12:45
your
12:45
stuff
12:45
with
12:45
Ken
12:45
Aaron
12:46
from
12:46
Virtual
12:47
Home
12:47
Inventory.
12:48
They
12:48
didn't
12:49
have
12:49
an
12:49
inventory
12:50
and
12:50
it
12:50
was
12:50
really
12:51
turned
12:51
into
12:51
a
12:51
bad
12:51
scenario
12:52
for
12:52
them.
12:52
But
12:52
the
12:52
point
12:53
is
12:53
that
12:53
you,
12:54
if
12:54
you
12:54
don't
12:54
put
12:55
it
12:55
in
12:55
the
12:55
cloud,
12:55
you
12:55
can
12:56
lose
12:56
your
12:56
inventory
12:57
if
12:57
it's
12:57
in
12:58
the
12:58
house
12:58
as
12:58
it
12:58
burns
12:59
or
12:59
is
12:59
lost
12:59
in
13:00
a
13:00
fire,
13:00
earthquake,
13:01
flood,
13:01
whatever.
13:03
Yeah,
13:03
that,
13:03
that
13:03
makes
13:04
a
13:04
great
13:04
point.
13:04
And
13:04
that's
13:04
one
13:05
of
13:05
the
13:05
things
13:05
I
13:05
want
13:05
to
13:05
bring
13:05
on
13:06
just
13:06
as
13:06
a
13:06
side
13:07
discussion
13:07
here
13:07
that
13:09
everybody
13:09
out
13:09
there
13:10
tuning
13:10
into
13:11
this
13:11
show
13:11
right
13:11
now,
13:11
that's
13:12
listening
13:12
in.
13:13
I
13:13
want
13:13
to
13:13
make
13:13
sure
13:14
that
13:14
you
13:14
understand
13:15
that
13:15
you
13:15
can
13:15
have
13:16
all
13:16
the
13:16
best
13:16
inventory.
13:17
But
13:17
if
13:17
you
13:17
haven't
13:17
taken
13:18
that
13:18
time
13:19
to
13:19
work
13:19
with
13:19
your
13:20
agent
13:20
and
13:21
have
13:21
the
13:21
discussion
13:21
of
13:22
what
13:22
you
13:22
got.
13:23
Great
13:23
example.
13:24
I
13:24
have
13:24
a
13:24
really.
13:24
One
13:25
of
13:25
my
13:25
best
13:25
friends
13:26
had
13:26
a
13:26
cabin
13:27
up
13:27
here
13:27
on
13:28
Mount
13:28
Hood.
13:29
And
13:29
it
13:29
was
13:29
one
13:29
of
13:29
those
13:30
cabins
13:30
that
13:30
had
13:31
the
13:31
100
13:31
year
13:31
lease
13:31
but
13:32
on
13:32
the
13:32
government
13:32
land
13:33
up
13:33
there,
13:33
the
13:33
forest
13:34
service
13:34
land.
13:35
Beautiful
13:36
50s
13:37
style
13:37
cabin,
13:38
wood
13:38
plank
13:38
walls,
13:39
gorgeous.
13:39
When
13:39
I
13:39
had
13:40
the
13:40
windstorms
13:40
this
13:40
last,
13:41
this
13:41
last
13:41
spring,
13:41
I
13:42
think
13:42
in
13:42
February,
13:42
they
13:43
lost
13:43
power
13:43
out
13:43
there.
13:43
The
13:44
house,
13:44
it
13:44
froze
13:45
up.
13:45
And
13:46
so
13:46
once
13:46
it
13:47
got
13:47
thawed
13:47
out,
13:47
by
13:48
the
13:48
time
13:48
they
13:48
got
13:48
out
13:48
there,
13:49
he
13:49
was
13:49
sitting
13:49
at
13:49
home,
13:49
he's
13:49
like
13:50
what's
13:50
that
13:50
on
13:50
my
13:51
security
13:51
camera?
13:52
And
13:53
it
13:53
was
13:53
a
13:53
3
13:53
quarter
13:53
inch
13:54
water
13:54
line
13:54
that
13:54
had
13:54
been
13:55
broken
13:55
and
13:55
it
13:55
was
13:55
running
13:56
through
13:56
the
13:56
ceiling,
13:56
through
13:57
the
13:57
lights.
13:57
And
13:58
he
13:58
was
13:58
trying
13:58
to
13:58
figure
13:58
out
13:58
what
13:59
it
13:59
was.
13:59
But
13:59
the
13:59
time
14:00
they
14:00
got
14:00
in
14:01
the
14:01
car,
14:01
drove
14:01
the
14:02
two
14:02
hours
14:02
from
14:02
where
14:02
they
14:02
live
14:03
out
14:03
there,
14:04
they
14:04
had
14:04
a
14:04
massive
14:05
problem.
14:06
And
14:06
the
14:07
bad
14:07
part
14:07
was
14:07
is
14:08
the
14:08
insurance
14:08
company
14:09
was
14:09
said
14:09
they'd
14:09
cover
14:09
up
14:09
to
14:10
$200,000
14:11
on
14:11
the
14:11
place.
14:12
Their
14:12
bill
14:13
for
14:13
water
14:14
damage
14:14
and
14:14
remediation
14:16
after
14:16
it
14:16
was
14:16
gutted
14:17
down
14:17
to
14:17
the
14:17
studs
14:17
from
14:17
the
14:18
company
14:18
was
14:18
like
14:18
$130,000.
14:20
Yeah.
14:21
No,
14:21
and
14:21
that
14:21
wipes
14:22
out.
14:22
So
14:22
just
14:22
Imagine
14:23
how
14:23
much
14:23
they
14:23
have
14:23
left
14:23
to
14:24
replace
14:24
everything
14:25
else
14:25
and
14:26
rebuild
14:26
house.
14:27
Oh,
14:27
yeah.
14:27
Oh,
14:28
no.
14:28
Exactly.
14:28
You
14:28
just
14:29
got
14:29
to
14:29
pay
14:29
attention
14:29
to
14:29
what
14:30
things
14:30
cost
14:30
and
14:31
pay
14:31
attention
14:31
to.
14:32
You
14:32
could
14:32
have
14:32
lead
14:33
paint,
14:33
you
14:33
could
14:33
have
14:33
asbestos.
14:34
So
14:34
I
14:35
just
14:35
want
14:35
everybody
14:35
out
14:36
there
14:36
to
14:36
make
14:36
sure
14:36
that
14:36
you're
14:37
having
14:37
these
14:37
conversations
14:38
as
14:39
a
14:39
whole
14:39
part
14:39
of
14:39
this
14:40
episode
14:40
here,
14:40
because
14:41
that's
14:41
a
14:41
part
14:41
that
14:41
I
14:42
don't
14:42
want
14:42
anybody
14:42
to
14:42
skip
14:43
over.
14:43
This
14:43
part
14:43
here
14:44
is
14:44
super
14:44
important
14:45
for
14:45
you,
14:46
but
14:46
you
14:46
still
14:46
got
14:47
to
14:47
get
14:47
it
14:47
replaced,
14:47
right?
14:48
You
14:48
do.
14:49
And
14:49
it's
14:49
the
14:49
point
14:50
about
14:50
knowing
14:51
what
14:51
you
14:51
have.
14:52
So
14:53
if
14:53
you
14:53
don't
14:53
know
14:53
what
14:54
you
14:54
have,
14:54
you
14:54
can't
14:54
buy
14:55
the
14:55
proper
14:55
amount
14:55
of
14:55
insurance.
14:56
There's
14:56
a
14:56
classic
14:57
example.
14:58
So
14:58
the
14:58
inventory
14:59
serves
14:59
that
14:59
purpose.
15:00
You
15:00
can
15:00
buy
15:01
the
15:01
right
15:01
amount
15:01
of
15:01
insurance.
15:02
Talked
15:02
to
15:03
a
15:03
public
15:03
adjuster
15:04
just
15:04
the
15:04
other
15:04
day
15:04
who
15:05
had
15:05
told
15:05
me
15:05
that
15:06
his
15:07
experience
15:07
is
15:08
most
15:08
people
15:08
are
15:08
either
15:09
way
15:09
overinsured
15:10
or
15:10
way
15:10
of
15:10
an
15:11
underinsured.
15:11
So
15:12
you're
15:12
either
15:12
paying
15:12
extra
15:13
money
15:13
that
15:13
you
15:14
shouldn't
15:14
and
15:15
you're
15:15
losing
15:15
that,
15:16
or
15:17
if
15:17
you
15:17
have
15:17
a
15:18
loss
15:18
and
15:18
you
15:19
make
15:19
the
15:19
claim,
15:19
you're
15:19
not
15:20
going
15:20
to
15:20
get
15:20
everything
15:20
because
15:21
you're
15:21
way
15:21
underinsured
15:22
from
15:22
where
15:22
you
15:22
should
15:22
be.
15:23
And
15:23
the
15:24
inventory
15:24
can
15:24
help
15:25
you
15:25
determine
15:25
that.
15:26
At
15:26
least
15:26
get
15:26
it
15:26
much
15:26
closer
15:27
to
15:27
where
15:27
it
15:27
should
15:28
be.
15:28
There's
15:29
also
15:29
estate
15:30
planning.
15:30
Now,
15:30
I
15:31
know
15:31
a
15:31
lot
15:31
of
15:31
people
15:31
say,
15:31
I
15:32
don't
15:32
have
15:32
a
15:32
big
15:32
estate
15:33
and
15:33
all
15:33
that.
15:33
You
15:33
have
15:33
stuff,
15:34
and
15:34
you
15:34
have
15:34
stuff
15:35
you
15:35
want
15:35
to
15:35
leave
15:35
to
15:36
family
15:36
and
15:36
friends.
15:37
It
15:37
all
15:37
needs
15:38
to
15:38
be
15:38
documented
15:39
and
15:39
noted
15:39
as
15:39
to
15:40
where
15:40
it
15:40
goes.
15:40
And
15:40
again,
15:41
the
15:41
inventory
15:41
is
15:42
the
15:42
only
15:42
way
15:42
to
15:42
do
15:43
it.
15:43
So
15:43
you
15:43
can
15:43
actually
15:43
accomplish
15:44
multiple
15:44
things
15:45
by
15:45
just
15:45
getting
15:45
the
15:46
inventory
15:46
done.
15:47
That's
15:47
a
15:47
great
15:47
point,
15:48
Ken,
15:48
because
15:48
now,
15:48
all
15:48
of
15:49
a
15:49
sudden,
15:49
if
15:49
you're
15:49
going
15:49
to
15:49
be
15:49
doing
15:50
a
15:50
will
15:50
around
15:50
that,
15:51
you
15:51
have
15:51
an
15:51
inventory
15:51
to
15:52
work
15:52
from.
15:53
And
15:53
so
15:53
you
15:53
can
15:53
go,
15:53
hey,
15:54
as
15:54
of
15:54
this
15:54
point,
15:55
I've
15:55
got
15:55
this,
15:55
and
15:55
this
15:56
is
15:56
how
15:56
I
15:56
want
15:56
to
15:57
dish
15:57
this
15:57
out
15:57
to
15:58
family
15:58
members
15:58
or
15:58
be
15:59
donated
15:59
or
15:59
whatever
16:00
you
16:00
want
16:00
to
16:00
do
16:00
with
16:00
it,
16:00
because
16:01
it's
16:01
your
16:01
call.
16:01
But
16:01
if
16:02
you
16:02
don't
16:02
have
16:02
that,
16:03
it's
16:03
an
16:04
incomplete
16:04
list.
16:05
It
16:05
is.
16:05
And
16:05
on
16:06
top
16:06
of
16:06
that,
16:06
families
16:07
are
16:07
families.
16:08
And
16:08
what
16:09
happens
16:09
is.
16:11
So
16:11
that
16:11
painting
16:12
that
16:12
was
16:12
in
16:12
Grandma's
16:13
house
16:13
over
16:14
the
16:14
fireplace,
16:15
Wait,
16:15
where
16:15
did
16:16
that
16:16
go?
16:17
It
16:17
disappeared
16:19
because
16:19
someone
16:20
wanted
16:20
it.
16:20
And
16:20
they'll
16:20
say
16:21
they
16:21
snuck
16:21
in
16:21
there
16:21
and
16:21
got
16:22
it.
16:22
And
16:22
that
16:22
happens
16:23
much
16:23
more
16:23
frequently.
16:24
Exactly.
16:25
It's
16:26
much
16:26
more
16:26
common
16:26
than
16:27
you
16:27
think.
16:27
And
16:28
by,
16:28
again,
16:28
having
16:29
that
16:29
documented,
16:30
everything
16:31
can
16:31
be
16:31
equitable,
16:32
and
16:32
you
16:32
can
16:32
keep
16:32
the
16:33
difficulties
16:34
surrounding
16:35
families
16:35
at
16:36
that
16:36
Time
16:37
down
16:37
to
16:38
a
16:38
moderate
16:38
level.
16:39
Yeah.
16:39
It's
16:40
still
16:40
going
16:40
to
16:40
probably
16:40
look
16:40
like
16:41
a
16:41
General
16:41
Hospital
16:41
episode
16:42
when
16:42
it's
16:42
all
16:42
said
16:43
and
16:43
done.
16:43
But
16:43
it's
16:44
families
16:44
and
16:45
show
16:45
me
16:45
a
16:45
family
16:45
that's
16:46
going
16:46
to
16:46
sit
16:46
down
16:46
and
16:46
go,
16:47
oh,
16:47
that's
16:47
wonderful.
16:48
Great.
16:48
It
16:48
doesn't
16:49
exist
16:49
that
16:49
way.
16:49
There's
16:49
going
16:50
to
16:50
be
16:50
some
16:51
bit
16:51
of
16:51
stress
16:52
because
16:53
you
16:53
want
16:53
to
16:53
eliminate
16:54
as
16:54
much
16:54
of
16:54
that
16:54
as
16:54
you
16:55
can.
16:55
Exactly.
16:56
And
16:56
preparation
16:57
is
16:57
key.
16:57
Yeah.
16:58
So
16:58
the
16:59
process
16:59
is
16:59
okay.
17:00
We've
17:00
got
17:00
people
17:00
out
17:00
there
17:01
right
17:01
now
17:01
that
17:01
are
17:01
tuning
17:01
in
17:02
going,
17:02
oh
17:02
my
17:02
gosh,
17:03
I'm
17:03
way
17:03
behind
17:03
the
17:03
eight
17:04
ball.
17:04
How
17:05
do
17:05
I
17:05
start
17:05
this
17:05
process?
17:06
Ken?
17:06
Okay,
17:07
if
17:07
it's.
17:08
Are
17:08
you
17:08
talking
17:08
about
17:09
hiring
17:09
me
17:09
or
17:09
hiring
17:10
someone?
17:11
They're
17:11
like,
17:11
hey,
17:11
I
17:11
don't
17:12
have
17:12
the
17:12
time
17:12
to
17:12
go
17:13
through
17:13
and
17:13
do
17:13
this.
17:14
I,
17:15
I
17:15
have
17:15
a
17:15
full
17:15
busy
17:16
life.
17:16
I'm
17:16
working,
17:17
I've
17:17
got
17:17
vacations.
17:18
I
17:18
want
17:19
to
17:19
have
17:19
somebody
17:19
knock
17:20
this
17:20
out
17:20
for
17:20
me
17:20
because
17:21
I
17:21
want
17:21
it
17:21
done
17:21
right
17:22
and
17:22
do
17:22
it,
17:23
do
17:23
it
17:23
and
17:23
get
17:23
it
17:23
done.
17:24
Okay.
17:25
So
17:25
the
17:25
best
17:26
first
17:27
visit
17:27
my
17:27
website,
17:28
call
17:28
me,
17:28
let's
17:29
have
17:29
a
17:29
conversation.
17:30
I'll
17:30
explain
17:31
the
17:31
process
17:32
which
17:32
I
17:32
went
17:33
over
17:33
earlier.
17:34
Answer
17:35
questions
17:35
they
17:35
have.
17:36
Then
17:36
we
17:36
have
17:37
a
17:37
conversation
17:37
about
17:38
how
17:38
much
17:38
stuff
17:39
they
17:39
have.
17:40
If
17:40
it's
17:41
someone
17:41
who
17:41
is
17:41
not
17:41
a
17:41
big
17:42
collector,
17:42
it's
17:42
just
17:43
typical
17:43
people
17:43
that
17:44
have
17:44
stuff
17:45
that
17:45
they
17:45
want
17:45
to
17:45
document
17:46
that's
17:47
fairly
17:47
straightforward.
17:48
I
17:48
can
17:48
go
17:48
through,
17:49
have
17:49
a
17:49
good
17:49
estimate
17:50
based
17:50
on
17:50
square
17:50
footage
17:51
of
17:51
the
17:51
house
17:51
on
17:52
how
17:52
much
17:52
time
17:52
it's
17:52
going
17:52
to
17:53
take
17:53
me.
17:53
Now
17:54
if
17:54
they
17:54
have
17:54
other
17:55
higher
17:55
value
17:55
items,
17:56
then
17:56
we
17:56
start
17:57
talking
17:57
about
17:57
how
17:57
many
17:57
there
17:58
are
17:58
so
17:58
that
17:59
it
17:59
can
17:59
determine
17:59
how
17:59
much
18:00
extra
18:00
time
18:00
that
18:00
takes.
18:01
A
18:01
typical.
18:02
I'll
18:03
just
18:03
give
18:03
you
18:03
an
18:03
example.
18:04
I
18:04
was
18:04
in
18:04
Des
18:04
Moines,
18:05
Iowa
18:05
just
18:06
this
18:06
past
18:06
weekend
18:07
working
18:07
for
18:07
clients.
18:08
It's
18:08
a
18:08
couple.
18:08
They
18:09
have
18:09
two
18:09
homes.
18:09
I
18:09
did
18:09
both
18:10
homes.
18:11
One
18:11
home
18:11
was
18:12
in
18:12
the
18:12
1800
18:13
square
18:13
foot
18:14
range.
18:14
The
18:14
other
18:14
one
18:15
is
18:15
about
18:15
2500.
18:17
Both
18:17
of
18:17
those
18:17
were
18:17
one
18:18
day
18:18
jobs
18:18
I
18:18
got
18:19
in
18:19
there.
18:19
The
18:19
larger
18:20
home,
18:20
he
18:20
also
18:21
had
18:21
an
18:21
extensive
18:22
coin
18:22
collection.
18:22
So
18:23
we
18:23
were
18:23
there
18:23
from
18:23
nine
18:23
to
18:24
six.
18:24
But
18:24
I
18:25
captured
18:25
everything
18:25
and
18:26
now
18:26
I
18:26
have
18:26
all
18:26
the
18:27
data
18:27
here.
18:27
I
18:27
can
18:27
assemble
18:28
the
18:28
second
18:29
home
18:30
much
18:30
simpler.
18:31
Not
18:31
a
18:31
no
18:32
huge
18:32
collection.
18:33
I
18:33
was
18:33
done
18:34
by
18:34
from
18:34
nine
18:34
to
18:35
say
18:35
3:34
18:36
o'.
18:36
Clock.
18:37
Both
18:37
are
18:37
back
18:37
here
18:38
now
18:38
another
18:38
two
18:39
weeks
18:39
and
18:39
I
18:39
have
18:39
it
18:39
all
18:40
assembled
18:40
and
18:40
delivered
18:41
back
18:41
to
18:41
them.
18:42
But
18:42
there
18:43
is,
18:43
but
18:43
there's
18:43
also.
18:44
So
18:44
that's
18:44
me
18:44
the
18:44
great
18:45
way
18:45
to
18:45
do
18:45
it.
18:46
I
18:46
know
18:46
not
18:47
everybody
18:47
wants
18:47
my
18:47
service
18:48
or
18:48
needs.
18:48
My
18:48
service
18:49
people
18:49
are
18:50
more
18:50
modest
18:51
needs.
18:51
There
18:52
is
18:52
actually
18:52
a
18:53
very
18:53
simple
18:54
way
18:54
to
18:54
do
18:54
it.
18:54
And
18:55
I'll
18:55
just
18:55
run
18:55
through
18:55
the
18:55
steps.
18:56
Yeah,
18:57
it's
18:57
really
18:58
the
18:58
first
18:58
thing
18:59
is
18:59
we
18:59
all
18:59
got
19:00
the
19:00
camera
19:00
phone
19:00
that's
19:00
got
19:01
video.
19:02
That
19:02
works
19:03
great.
19:03
Yep.
19:04
Use
19:04
that
19:04
to
19:04
make
19:05
a
19:05
video
19:05
of
19:05
every
19:06
room
19:06
in
19:06
the
19:06
house.
19:07
However,
19:07
there's
19:08
a
19:08
couple
19:08
key
19:08
points
19:09
to
19:09
make.
19:09
The
19:09
first
19:10
is
19:10
move
19:11
slowly,
19:11
walk
19:12
slowly.
19:13
Don't
19:13
move
19:13
fast
19:14
because
19:14
the
19:14
image
19:14
quality
19:15
goes
19:15
down
19:15
and
19:15
makes
19:16
it
19:16
harder
19:16
to
19:16
see
19:16
what
19:16
you're
19:17
doing.
19:18
So
19:18
you
19:19
start
19:19
in
19:19
the
19:19
middle
19:19
of
19:19
the
19:20
room,
19:20
and
19:20
as
19:21
a
19:21
video,
19:21
you
19:21
go
19:22
360
19:22
degrees.
19:23
Just
19:23
pan
19:23
and
19:24
get
19:24
the
19:24
whole
19:24
thing.
19:24
Get
19:25
the
19:25
ceilings,
19:25
get
19:25
the
19:26
floors.
19:26
Those
19:26
heat
19:27
registers
19:27
matter.
19:28
Outlets
19:29
and
19:29
light
19:29
switches
19:29
matter.
19:30
Get
19:30
all
19:30
of
19:30
it.
19:31
Then
19:31
you
19:32
walk
19:32
through
19:32
the
19:32
room,
19:32
start
19:33
left
19:33
to
19:33
just
19:34
be
19:34
consistent
19:35
and
19:35
video
19:36
up
19:36
close.
19:37
Everything.
19:38
It
19:38
doesn't
19:38
matter
19:38
what
19:39
it
19:39
is.
19:39
Lamps
19:39
with
19:39
this,
19:40
that
19:40
and
19:40
the
19:40
other,
19:40
open
19:41
drawers,
19:41
open
19:42
cabinet
19:42
doors,
19:43
open
19:43
closets.
19:44
Capture
19:45
all
19:45
of
19:45
that
19:45
stuff.
19:46
The
19:46
goal
19:47
is
19:47
to
19:47
capture
19:48
enough
19:48
to
19:48
help
19:48
you
19:49
remember
19:49
everything.
19:50
And
19:50
the
19:50
visuals
19:51
will
19:51
be
19:51
our
19:51
key
19:52
to
19:52
that.
19:53
But
19:53
the
19:53
other
19:53
key
19:54
is
19:54
as
19:54
you're
19:55
doing
19:55
that
19:55
video,
19:56
talk,
19:57
narrate,
19:57
tell
19:58
us
19:58
about
19:58
the
19:58
stuff
19:59
you're
19:59
talking
19:59
about.
20:00
Anything
20:00
that
20:00
you
20:00
think
20:01
is
20:01
important,
20:01
the
20:02
material
20:02
it's
20:02
made
20:02
out
20:03
of,
20:03
when
20:03
you
20:03
bought
20:03
it,
20:03
if
20:04
you
20:04
have
20:04
an
20:04
idea
20:04
of
20:04
the
20:05
value,
20:05
just
20:06
keep
20:06
talking
20:06
through
20:07
it.
20:07
It
20:08
will
20:08
help
20:08
you
20:09
so
20:09
greatly.
20:10
The
20:10
other
20:11
thing
20:11
that's
20:11
also
20:11
important
20:12
is
20:13
don't
20:13
do
20:13
one
20:13
big
20:14
video
20:14
of
20:14
the
20:14
house.
20:15
Break
20:15
it
20:15
up
20:15
by
20:16
each
20:16
room.
20:17
Because
20:17
if
20:17
you
20:17
do
20:18
need
20:18
to
20:18
use
20:18
it
20:18
later,
20:19
it's
20:19
going
20:19
to
20:19
be
20:19
much
20:19
more
20:20
efficient
20:20
to
20:20
just
20:20
look
20:21
one
20:21
room
20:21
at
20:21
a
20:22
time
20:22
rather
20:22
than
20:23
fast
20:23
forwarding
20:23
to
20:24
the
20:24
last
20:24
room
20:25
that
20:25
you
20:25
did
20:25
to
20:26
get
20:26
there.
20:27
You
20:27
know
20:27
what
20:27
I'm
20:27
talking
20:27
about.
20:28
Because
20:28
you
20:28
play
20:28
with
20:28
audio
20:29
and
20:29
video
20:29
all
20:29
the
20:29
time.
20:30
Exactly.
20:31
So,
20:31
yeah,
20:32
two
20:32
minutes
20:32
in,
20:33
I
20:33
think.
20:34
Yeah.
20:35
So
20:35
those
20:36
things
20:36
will
20:36
get
20:37
you
20:37
a
20:37
long
20:38
way.
20:38
And
20:39
especially
20:39
like
20:39
your
20:40
friends
20:40
with
20:40
the
20:40
cabin
20:40
up
20:40
on
20:41
Mount
20:41
Hood.
20:41
That
20:41
would
20:42
have
20:42
been
20:42
huge.
20:42
I
20:42
know
20:42
they
20:43
were
20:43
limited,
20:43
but
20:44
that
20:44
would
20:44
have
20:44
been
20:44
huge
20:44
for
20:45
documenting
20:45
and
20:45
remembering
20:46
everything
20:46
they
20:47
had.
20:47
The
20:48
last
20:48
thing
20:48
is
20:48
don't
20:49
keep
20:49
it
20:49
on
20:49
the
20:49
phone.
20:50
Almost
20:50
every
20:51
phone
20:51
has
20:51
some
20:51
sort
20:52
of
20:52
icloud
20:52
or
20:53
cloud
20:53
storage.
20:53
Storage.
20:54
Put
20:54
it
20:54
up
20:54
in
20:55
the
20:55
cloud,
20:55
stick
20:56
around.
20:57
Around
20:57
the
20:57
house
20:57
returns
20:58
quicker
20:58
than
20:59
Eric
20:59
can
20:59
trip
21:00
over
21:00
an
21:00
extension
21:01
cord.
22:35
Welcome
22:35
back
22:35
to
22:36
the
22:36
around
22:36
the
22:36
House
22:37
show.
22:37
This
22:38
hour
22:38
is
22:38
brought
22:38
to
22:38
you
22:39
by
22:39
our
22:39
friends
22:39
at
22:39
Monument
22:40
Grills.
22:41
If
22:41
you
22:41
are
22:41
needing
22:42
a
22:42
new
22:42
grill,
22:42
check
22:43
them
22:43
out@monumentgrills.com
22:45
now
22:46
let's
22:46
get
22:46
back
22:46
to
22:47
tracking
22:47
down
22:47
all
22:48
your
22:48
stuff
22:48
with
22:48
Ken
22:49
Aaron
22:49
from
22:49
Virtual
22:50
Home
22:50
Inventory.
22:51
Nice.
22:52
My
22:52
rules
22:52
on
22:53
any
22:53
data
22:53
like
22:53
that
22:54
is
22:54
if
22:54
you
22:54
don't
22:54
have
22:54
it
22:54
in
22:54
three
22:55
separate
22:55
places.
22:55
You
22:56
don't
22:56
have
22:56
it
22:56
enough
22:56
places.
22:57
Exactly.
22:58
And
22:58
one
22:58
of
22:58
them
22:58
being
22:58
the
22:59
cloud.
22:59
At
22:59
least.
23:00
At
23:00
least
23:01
I
23:01
personally,
23:02
I
23:02
have.
23:02
There
23:03
is
23:03
a
23:03
backup
23:03
here.
23:04
Yep,
23:04
there
23:04
is.
23:05
That's
23:05
easy
23:05
access.
23:06
There's
23:06
the
23:07
cloud,
23:07
and
23:07
there's
23:08
a
23:08
safe
23:08
deposit
23:09
box.
23:09
There
23:09
you
23:09
go.
23:10
Yeah.
23:11
On
23:11
my
23:11
computer,
23:11
this.
23:12
I
23:12
don't
23:12
want
23:12
this
23:12
to
23:12
sound
23:13
like
23:13
a
23:13
commercial
23:13
because
23:13
I
23:13
pay
23:14
every
23:14
year
23:14
for
23:15
it,
23:16
but
23:16
I
23:16
still
23:16
use
23:16
that
23:17
old
23:17
program
23:17
Carbonite
23:18
to
23:18
back
23:18
stuff
23:19
up
23:19
with.
23:19
Just
23:19
so
23:20
every
23:20
computer
23:21
has
23:21
got
23:21
a
23:21
backup
23:22
of
23:22
my
23:22
laptop.
23:23
Fries.
23:23
I
23:24
can
23:24
go
23:24
down,
23:24
pick
23:24
up
23:25
another
23:25
one
23:25
and
23:25
just
23:26
go
23:26
restore
23:28
and
23:28
get
23:29
it
23:29
back
23:29
there.
23:29
And
23:30
so
23:30
that's
23:30
my
23:30
kind
23:31
of
23:31
my
23:31
fourth
23:31
backup
23:32
on
23:32
things.
23:32
But
23:32
yep,
23:33
commend
23:34
when
23:34
you're
23:34
walking
23:34
through
23:35
to
23:35
turn
23:35
the
23:35
lights
23:36
up
23:36
and.
23:36
Oh,
23:37
yeah,
23:37
we
23:37
change
23:38
that
23:38
phone
23:38
to
23:38
make
23:38
sure
23:39
that
23:39
you're
23:39
getting
23:39
like,
23:40
the
23:40
best
23:40
4K
23:41
or
23:41
whatever.
23:42
Exactly.
23:42
Best
23:43
quality
23:43
possible.
23:44
Make
23:44
the
23:44
settings
23:45
on
23:45
the
23:45
phone
23:45
highest
23:46
quality.
23:46
Now
23:47
turn
23:47
on
23:47
all
23:47
the
23:48
lights
23:48
in
23:48
the
23:48
house.
23:48
But
23:50
sometimes
23:50
it's
23:50
better
23:51
to
23:51
close
23:51
the
23:52
drapes
23:53
and
23:53
blinds
23:53
rather
23:53
than
23:54
open
23:54
them.
23:54
And
23:55
the
23:55
reason
23:55
is
23:56
that
23:56
high
23:56
contrast,
23:57
that
23:58
light
23:58
streaming
23:59
in
23:59
through
23:59
is
24:00
not
24:00
your
24:00
friend
24:01
on
24:01
video.
24:02
If
24:02
you
24:02
close
24:02
that
24:03
blind,
24:03
or
24:03
if
24:03
you
24:04
have
24:04
the
24:04
opportunity
24:05
to
24:05
tilt
24:05
the
24:06
lever,
24:06
the
24:06
louvers
24:07
so
24:07
that
24:08
some
24:08
light
24:08
is
24:08
coming
24:08
in,
24:09
you
24:09
want
24:09
really
24:10
what
24:10
we
24:10
call
24:10
a
24:11
flat,
24:11
even
24:11
light.
24:12
Because
24:12
you
24:12
want
24:12
to
24:12
see
24:13
as
24:13
much
24:13
as
24:13
you
24:13
can.
24:14
And
24:15
it
24:15
is.
24:15
Again,
24:15
move
24:15
slow,
24:16
move
24:16
slope.
24:17
Yeah.
24:17
And
24:17
you
24:18
really
24:18
want
24:18
to
24:18
do
24:18
everything,
24:18
right.
24:19
You
24:19
want
24:19
to
24:19
do
24:19
the
24:19
house,
24:20
you
24:20
want
24:20
to
24:20
do
24:20
the
24:20
garage,
24:21
you
24:21
want
24:21
to
24:21
do
24:21
the
24:21
storage
24:22
shed,
24:22
the
24:22
attic,
24:23
any
24:23
place
24:23
that
24:23
you
24:24
have
24:25
belongings,
24:25
maybe
24:26
even
24:26
your
24:26
storage
24:27
unit.
24:27
Right.
24:27
Just
24:28
everything
24:28
you
24:28
can
24:28
get,
24:29
every
24:29
single.
24:30
Piece
24:30
of
24:30
it
24:30
and
24:30
the
24:31
exterior
24:31
of
24:31
your
24:31
house.
24:32
Walk
24:32
around
24:32
the
24:33
entire
24:33
outside,
24:34
get
24:34
that
24:34
patio
24:34
furniture,
24:35
the
24:35
tool
24:35
shed,
24:36
like
24:36
you
24:36
said,
24:36
is
24:36
important.
24:37
Anything
24:38
like
24:38
that,
24:38
all
24:39
of
24:39
it
24:39
matters,
24:40
even
24:40
down
24:40
to
24:41
the
24:41
landscaping.
24:42
Ah,
24:43
smart.
24:43
Because.
24:43
Yeah.
24:44
All
24:44
it
24:44
takes
24:44
is
24:45
depending
24:45
on
24:45
where
24:46
you're.
24:46
Where
24:46
you're
24:46
in
24:47
the
24:47
country.
24:47
Wildfire,
24:48
tornado,
24:48
hurricane,
24:49
whatever.
24:50
It's
24:50
one
24:50
of
24:50
those
24:51
things
24:51
that
24:51
all
24:52
of
24:52
a
24:52
sudden
24:52
that
24:53
can
24:53
be
24:53
really
24:53
messed
24:54
up
24:54
and
24:54
you've
24:54
got
24:54
a
24:54
big
24:55
problem.
24:55
So
24:56
I
24:56
like
24:56
it.
24:57
So
24:57
I
24:57
got
24:57
a
24:57
question
24:58
for
24:58
you.
24:58
So
24:58
let's
24:59
say
24:59
you
24:59
just
24:59
had
24:59
a
25:00
loss,
25:00
right?
25:01
You
25:01
had
25:01
something
25:01
happen.
25:02
Fireflood,
25:03
tornado,
25:03
name
25:03
it.
25:04
Like
25:04
we
25:04
were
25:04
just
25:04
talking
25:04
about.
25:05
What
25:06
do
25:06
you
25:06
do
25:06
afterwards
25:07
to
25:07
try
25:07
to
25:07
go,
25:07
okay,
25:08
I
25:08
didn't
25:08
document
25:09
this
25:09
correctly.
25:10
Is
25:10
there
25:11
any
25:11
advice
25:11
for
25:11
people
25:11
that
25:12
are
25:12
maybe
25:12
trying
25:12
to
25:12
save
25:12
it
25:13
after
25:13
it's
25:13
too
25:13
late?
25:14
There
25:15
is.
25:15
First,
25:16
it's
25:16
going
25:16
to
25:17
Be
25:17
hard.
25:17
And
25:18
it's
25:18
going
25:18
to
25:18
be
25:18
traumatic
25:19
because
25:20
a
25:20
lot
25:20
a
25:20
major
25:21
loss
25:21
is.
25:22
And
25:22
losing
25:22
your
25:22
home
25:23
really
25:23
is
25:23
one
25:23
of
25:23
the
25:23
most
25:23
traumatic
25:24
experiences
25:25
we
25:25
can
25:25
have
25:25
because
25:25
it's
25:25
very
25:26
debasing
25:26
and
25:26
destabilizing.
25:28
So
25:28
you're
25:28
already
25:28
upset,
25:29
and
25:29
then
25:29
your
25:29
insurer
25:30
hits
25:30
you
25:30
right
25:31
away
25:31
with,
25:31
the
25:31
first
25:32
thing
25:32
is,
25:33
I
25:33
need
25:33
a
25:33
list
25:33
of
25:33
everything
25:34
you
25:34
lost.
25:35
And
25:35
you're
25:35
sitting
25:35
there
25:35
going,
25:36
I
25:36
can't
25:37
remember
25:37
that.
25:37
You're
25:37
already
25:38
overwhelmed.
25:38
You're
25:38
emotionally
25:39
overwhelmed,
25:39
and
25:40
now
25:40
you
25:40
have
25:40
to
25:40
dig
25:40
deep
25:41
into
25:41
the
25:41
memory
25:41
banks.
25:42
Exactly.
25:43
That
25:43
phone
25:44
that
25:44
took
25:44
all
25:44
those
25:44
pictures,
25:45
you
25:45
want
25:45
to
25:46
start
25:46
looking
25:46
at
25:46
those
25:47
and
25:47
go
25:47
back.
25:48
Anything
25:48
that
25:48
has
25:49
the
25:49
house
25:49
or
25:50
what
25:50
you
25:50
lost
25:50
in
25:51
it,
25:51
save
25:51
it.
25:52
Then
25:52
you
25:52
go
25:53
to
25:53
your
25:53
friends
25:53
and
25:54
say,
25:55
do
25:55
the
25:55
same
25:56
thing.
25:56
Look
25:57
at
25:57
all
25:57
of
25:57
that
25:57
stuff.
25:58
Tell
25:58
me
25:58
what
25:59
you
25:59
have.
25:59
Share
25:59
the
26:00
photos
26:00
with
26:00
me
26:00
that
26:00
you
26:00
took
26:01
at
26:01
the
26:01
parties
26:01
at
26:01
our
26:01
house.
26:02
Look
26:02
at
26:03
your
26:03
social
26:03
media.
26:04
If
26:04
you
26:04
share
26:05
photos
26:05
about
26:05
stuff
26:06
on
26:06
your
26:06
house,
26:06
you
26:06
got
26:07
photos
26:07
up
26:07
there.
26:09
The
26:09
next
26:09
step
26:09
after
26:10
that
26:10
is
26:11
one
26:11
of
26:11
the
26:12
harder
26:12
ones,
26:12
which
26:13
is
26:13
you
26:13
go
26:14
to
26:14
the
26:14
house
26:15
and
26:15
you're
26:15
literally
26:16
sifting
26:17
through
26:17
ashes.
26:17
My
26:17
friends
26:18
and
26:18
Ben
26:18
told
26:19
me
26:19
that
26:19
story
26:19
and
26:19
how
26:19
hard
26:20
it
26:20
was.
26:21
Seriously.
26:21
And
26:22
I
26:22
saw
26:22
the
26:22
house
26:22
while
26:23
it
26:23
was
26:23
still
26:23
in
26:24
the
26:24
state
26:24
of
26:24
ashes.
26:25
Yeah,
26:25
you're
26:26
literally
26:26
going
26:26
through
26:27
ashes
26:27
to
26:27
go,
26:28
this
26:28
was
26:28
a
26:28
pot
26:29
of
26:29
some
26:29
kind,
26:29
but
26:30
it's
26:30
melted.
26:30
I'm
26:30
not
26:31
sure
26:31
what
26:31
it
26:31
was.
26:32
Now
26:32
it's
26:32
forensics.
26:33
And
26:33
the
26:33
other
26:33
thing
26:34
is
26:35
hire
26:35
a
26:36
public
26:36
adjuster,
26:36
if
26:36
you
26:37
don't
26:37
want
26:37
to
26:37
know.
26:37
A
26:37
public
26:37
adjuster
26:38
is.
26:38
They
26:39
are
26:40
an
26:40
adjuster
26:41
who
26:41
probably
26:41
used
26:42
to
26:42
work
26:42
for
26:42
an
26:42
insurance
26:43
company,
26:43
but
26:43
now
26:43
they're
26:44
freelance.
26:44
They
26:45
work
26:45
for
26:45
you.
26:46
They
26:46
understand
26:47
the
26:47
process
26:48
of
26:48
working
26:48
with
26:49
insurers,
26:49
and
26:49
they
26:50
can
26:50
help
26:50
you
26:50
catalog
26:51
all
26:51
this
26:51
stuff,
26:51
and
26:52
they'll
26:52
walk
26:52
you
26:52
through
26:53
a
26:53
visualization
26:54
process.
26:55
It's
26:55
tedious
26:55
and
26:56
hard.
26:56
And
26:57
the
26:57
way
26:57
it
26:58
works
26:58
is
26:58
you'll
26:58
sit
26:58
there
26:59
and
26:59
you're
26:59
standing
26:59
at
27:00
your
27:00
front
27:00
door.
27:01
Okay,
27:01
what
27:01
do
27:01
you
27:01
see
27:02
on
27:02
the
27:02
entryway?
27:03
There
27:03
was
27:03
this
27:03
table
27:03
and
27:04
a
27:04
lamp.
27:04
Great.
27:05
The
27:05
lamp
27:05
is
27:05
what
27:05
you
27:06
describe
27:06
it,
27:06
Document
27:07
it.
27:07
The
27:07
table,
27:08
drawers
27:08
in
27:09
the
27:09
table.
27:09
How
27:09
many
27:09
drawers?
27:10
What
27:10
was
27:10
in
27:11
the
27:11
drawers.
27:12
Now,
27:12
you
27:13
have
27:13
to
27:13
do
27:13
that
27:13
for
27:14
every
27:14
single
27:14
room,
27:15
every
27:16
single
27:16
item.
27:17
And
27:17
yeah,
27:17
it
27:18
takes
27:18
a
27:18
long
27:19
time.
27:19
You
27:19
can't
27:19
do
27:19
it
27:20
all
27:20
in
27:20
one
27:20
day
27:20
because
27:21
emotionally
27:21
you
27:22
just
27:22
get
27:22
tired.
27:22
Plus,
27:22
it's
27:23
physically
27:23
tired.
27:24
It's
27:24
not
27:24
uncommon
27:25
for
27:26
a
27:26
claim.
27:27
It
27:27
take
27:28
to.
27:28
For
27:28
it
27:28
to
27:28
take
27:28
up
27:29
to
27:29
a
27:29
year.
27:30
Excuse
27:30
me.
27:31
To
27:31
get
27:31
a
27:31
claim
27:32
filed
27:32
when
27:32
you
27:33
don't
27:33
have
27:33
an
27:33
inventory.
27:34
Just
27:34
trying
27:34
to
27:34
remember
27:35
it
27:35
all
27:36
wow,
27:37
wow,
27:37
that's
27:37
incredible.
27:38
And
27:38
I
27:38
can't
27:39
say
27:39
that
27:39
enough
27:39
that
27:40
a
27:40
public
27:40
adjuster
27:41
is
27:41
the
27:42
way
27:42
to
27:42
go
27:42
because
27:42
you
27:42
now
27:43
have
27:43
an
27:43
advocate
27:43
to
27:44
sit
27:44
there
27:44
and
27:44
go,
27:44
no,
27:44
that's
27:45
not
27:45
how
27:45
it
27:45
works.
27:45
And
27:46
I
27:46
don't
27:46
want
27:46
to
27:46
bash
27:46
on
27:47
the
27:47
companies
27:47
out
27:47
there
27:48
that
27:48
are
27:48
providing
27:48
insurance,
27:49
but
27:49
they're
27:50
a
27:50
business
27:50
as
27:50
well
27:51
and
27:51
they're
27:51
maybe
27:51
not
27:52
looking
27:52
out
27:52
at
27:52
your
27:52
best
27:53
interest,
27:53
they're
27:53
looking
27:53
out
27:54
for
27:55
their
27:55
best
27:55
interest
27:56
for
27:56
the
27:56
company.
27:57
You
27:57
need
27:57
to
27:57
have
27:57
somebody
27:58
on
27:58
your
27:58
side.
27:58
You
27:59
do.
27:59
And
27:59
the
27:59
public
27:59
adjuster
28:00
is
28:00
that
28:00
person.
28:01
The
28:01
other
28:02
one
28:02
I'd
28:02
suggest
28:02
is
28:03
find
28:04
a
28:04
lawyer
28:04
because
28:04
you're
28:05
going
28:05
to
28:05
need
28:05
them.
28:05
You
28:05
may
28:05
not
28:06
need
28:06
them
28:06
right
28:06
away,
28:06
but
28:07
find,
28:07
talk
28:07
to
28:08
friends,
28:08
find
28:08
a
28:08
good
28:09
attorney
28:09
who
28:09
knows
28:10
insurance
28:10
law
28:11
and
28:11
understands
28:12
that
28:12
and
28:12
have
28:13
them
28:13
in
28:13
your
28:13
pocket
28:13
because
28:14
you're
28:14
going
28:14
to
28:14
need
28:15
them.
28:15
The
28:16
insurers,
28:16
like
28:16
you
28:17
say,
28:17
they're
28:17
a
28:17
business
28:18
and
28:18
they're
28:18
trying
28:18
to,
28:19
their
28:19
goal
28:19
is
28:19
to
28:19
reduce
28:20
how
28:20
much
28:20
they
28:21
pay
28:21
out
28:21
to
28:21
you.
28:22
Yep.
28:22
And
28:23
when
28:23
you
28:23
think
28:23
about
28:23
it,
28:24
an
28:24
insurance
28:25
policy
28:26
is
28:26
simply
28:27
a
28:27
contract.
28:28
It's
28:28
a
28:28
business
28:28
contract
28:29
that
28:30
defines
28:30
the
28:30
terms.
28:31
Except
28:31
that
28:31
they
28:32
define
28:32
the
28:32
terms,
28:32
you
28:33
don't.
28:34
And
28:34
a
28:34
claim
28:35
is
28:36
a
28:36
business
28:36
negotiation.
28:37
So
28:38
that's
28:38
the
28:38
way
28:38
they
28:38
approach
28:39
it.
28:39
And
28:39
their
28:39
goal
28:40
is
28:40
to
28:40
minimize
28:41
what
28:41
they
28:41
pay
28:41
out
28:42
to
28:42
you.
28:42
And
28:42
your
28:43
goal
28:43
is
28:43
to
28:43
maximize
28:44
what
28:44
they
28:44
pay
28:44
out
28:45
to
28:45
you.
28:45
So
28:45
you
28:45
see
28:45
the
28:46
conflict
28:46
that
28:46
happens
28:47
and
28:47
that's
28:48
why
28:48
having
28:49
the
28:49
documentation
28:50
puts
28:50
you
28:50
in
28:51
so
28:51
much
28:51
of
28:51
a
28:52
stronger
28:52
position.
28:53
Without
28:53
it,
28:53
you're
28:54
really
28:54
weak.
28:54
My
28:54
friends
28:55
in
28:55
bend,
28:55
they
28:56
got
28:56
42
28:56
cents
28:57
on
28:57
the
28:57
dollar
28:57
for
28:57
their
28:58
claim
28:58
and
28:59
now
28:59
try
28:59
and
28:59
figure
29:00
that,
29:00
figure
29:00
how
29:01
you're
29:01
going
29:01
to
29:01
recover
29:02
to
29:02
your
29:02
lifestyle.
29:03
You
29:03
had
29:03
with
29:04
that.
29:05
So
29:05
these,
29:05
it,
29:06
this
29:06
is
29:06
why
29:06
it's
29:06
so
29:07
important.
29:07
And
29:07
unfortunately
29:08
most
29:08
people
29:09
don't
29:09
realize
29:10
and
29:10
learn
29:10
this
29:11
until
29:11
after
29:12
the
29:12
fact.
29:13
And
29:13
you
29:13
think
29:13
about
29:14
it
29:14
a
29:14
great
29:14
example.
29:15
So
29:15
your
29:16
house,
29:16
you
29:16
had
29:16
a,
29:17
a
29:17
10
29:17
year
29:17
old
29:17
heating
29:18
and
29:18
cooling
29:18
system
29:19
in
29:19
that
29:19
thing
29:20
that
29:20
was
29:20
working
29:20
beautiful
29:21
before
29:21
you
29:21
had
29:22
that
29:22
total
29:22
loss.
29:23
That
29:23
was
29:23
a
29:24
$5,000
29:25
unit
29:26
10
29:27
years
29:27
ago.
29:28
And
29:28
now
29:28
because
29:29
building
29:29
code,
29:29
you're
29:29
going
29:30
to
29:30
spend
29:30
22,000.
29:32
These
29:32
are
29:32
things
29:32
that
29:32
you
29:33
need
29:33
to
29:33
make
29:33
sure
29:33
you've
29:33
got
29:34
documented.
29:34
So
29:34
at
29:34
least
29:35
you
29:35
could
29:35
have
29:35
the
29:35
argument
29:36
going,
29:36
this
29:37
is
29:37
the
29:37
only
29:37
thing
29:38
I
29:38
can
29:38
put
29:39
in
29:39
because
29:39
that's
29:39
what
29:39
code
29:40
is.
29:40
And
29:41
these
29:41
are
29:41
all
29:41
the
29:41
little
29:41
things
29:42
where
29:42
that
29:42
adjuster
29:42
is
29:43
going
29:43
to
29:43
help
29:43
you
29:43
through
29:43
that.
29:44
Exactly.
29:44
And
29:45
it's
29:45
key
29:45
because
29:46
the
29:46
adjuster
29:47
is
29:47
used
29:47
to
29:48
doing
29:48
this.
29:48
They're
29:48
level
29:48
headed,
29:49
you're
29:50
upset,
29:50
you're
29:51
not,
29:51
it's
29:51
not
29:52
just
29:52
that
29:52
you
29:52
lost
29:52
your
29:53
home,
29:53
you're
29:53
also
29:54
angry
29:54
because
29:54
of
29:54
what
29:54
the
29:55
insurance
29:55
company
29:55
is
29:56
coming
29:56
back
29:56
with.
29:57
The
29:57
two
29:57
biggest
29:58
complaints
29:58
about
29:58
insurers.
29:59
First,
29:59
the
30:00
biggest
30:00
complaint
30:00
is
30:01
the
30:01
claims
30:01
process.
30:02
When
30:03
you
30:03
break
30:03
it
30:03
down,
30:04
the
30:04
details
30:05
of
30:05
that
30:06
is
30:07
people
30:08
are
30:08
upset
30:08
about
30:09
the
30:09
low
30:09
values
30:10
they
30:10
offer
30:10
and
30:11
the
30:11
built
30:11
in
30:11
delays
30:12
or
30:12
insurer
30:13
cause
30:13
delays
30:14
in
30:14
the
30:14
process.
30:15
My
30:15
friends
30:16
and
30:16
Bend
30:17
went
30:17
it
30:17
was
30:18
coming
30:18
up
30:18
on
30:18
two
30:18
years
30:19
when
30:19
I
30:19
believe
30:20
there's
30:20
a
30:20
law
30:21
that
30:21
says
30:21
the
30:21
insurance
30:22
claims
30:23
should
30:23
be
30:23
settled
30:23
within
30:24
two
30:24
years.
30:25
If
30:25
the
30:25
insurer
30:26
can
30:26
push
30:26
past
30:27
that,
30:27
then
30:27
they
30:28
can
30:28
start
30:28
claiming
30:28
you're
30:28
not
30:29
negotiating
30:29
good
30:29
faith
30:30
and
30:30
they
30:30
can
30:30
cut
30:30
you
30:31
off.
30:31
And
30:32
they
30:32
literally
30:33
had.
30:33
The
30:34
insurer
30:34
stopped
30:35
talking
30:35
to
30:35
them
30:35
about
30:35
three
30:36
months
30:36
before
30:36
that
30:36
date.
30:37
This
30:38
is
30:38
where
30:38
the
30:38
lawyer
30:38
came
30:39
in.
30:39
They
30:39
had
30:39
to
30:39
sue
30:40
to
30:40
extend
30:41
so
30:41
they
30:41
could
30:41
finish
30:42
their
30:42
claim.
30:43
And
30:43
it
30:43
wasn't
30:43
their
30:43
fault.
30:44
No,
30:44
of
30:44
course
30:44
not.
30:45
And,
30:45
and
30:45
then
30:45
one
30:45
other
30:46
piece
30:46
I
30:46
want,
30:46
I
30:46
just
30:46
want
30:47
to
30:47
give
30:47
as
30:47
a
30:47
reminder
30:48
for
30:48
people
30:48
out
30:48
there
30:49
and
30:49
I
30:50
want
30:50
everybody
30:50
to
30:50
answer
30:51
this
30:51
in
30:51
their
30:51
own
30:51
head
30:51
and
30:52
our
30:52
wonderful
30:52
audience
30:52
out
30:53
there.
30:53
When
30:53
was
30:53
the
30:53
last
30:53
time
30:54
that
30:54
you
30:54
went
30:54
through
30:54
your
30:55
renters
30:55
or
30:55
homeowners
30:56
policy
30:56
and
30:57
read
30:57
that
30:57
from
30:57
the
30:58
first
30:58
word
30:58
to
30:58
the
30:58
last
30:59
paragraph.
31:00
When
31:00
was
31:00
the
31:00
last
31:00
time
31:00
you
31:01
went
31:01
through
31:01
and
31:01
understood
31:02
the
31:02
insurance
31:03
that
31:03
you've
31:03
purchased?
31:04
Did
31:04
exactly
31:05
read
31:05
your
31:06
policies?
31:06
And
31:07
something
31:07
to
31:07
note,
31:08
these
31:09
days,
31:09
most
31:09
insurers,
31:10
what
31:10
they
31:10
deliver
31:11
to
31:11
you
31:11
via
31:11
email
31:12
or
31:12
whatever
31:12
is
31:13
a
31:13
summary
31:13
of
31:14
the
31:14
policy,
31:14
not
31:14
the
31:15
policy
31:15
that's
31:16
in
31:16
your
31:16
account
31:17
where
31:17
you
31:17
have
31:17
to
31:17
log
31:18
in
31:18
and
31:18
download
31:18
it
31:19
and
31:19
read
31:20
the
31:20
fine
31:20
print,
31:21
read
31:21
about
31:21
the
31:21
process.
31:22
Honestly,
31:23
your
31:23
insurance
31:24
broker
31:24
probably
31:25
does
31:25
not
31:25
know
31:26
the
31:27
claims
31:27
process
31:27
because
31:28
they're
31:28
not
31:28
involved
31:29
in.
31:29
That's
31:29
not
31:29
what
31:30
they
31:30
do.
31:30
They
31:31
hand
31:31
you
31:31
off
31:31
to
31:32
the
31:32
claims
31:33
adjuster
31:33
which
31:33
is
31:33
a
31:34
totally
31:34
different
31:34
person
31:34
who
31:35
has
31:35
operating
31:35
under
31:36
different
31:36
rules.
31:37
They're
31:37
not
31:37
trying
31:37
to
31:37
sell
31:38
you,
31:38
they're
31:38
trying
31:38
to
31:38
pay
31:39
you
31:39
as
31:39
little
31:39
as
31:39
possible.
31:40
It's
31:41
going
31:41
into
31:41
a
31:41
car
31:41
dealership
31:42
and
31:42
asking
31:42
the
31:43
salesperson
31:43
to
31:43
go
31:43
do
31:44
the
31:44
service
31:44
on
31:44
your
31:44
vehicle.
31:45
They
31:45
got
31:46
probably
31:46
no
31:46
idea
31:47
how
31:47
that
31:47
process
31:47
works,
31:48
even
31:48
though
31:48
it's
31:49
in
31:49
the
31:49
same
31:49
building.
31:49
Exactly.
31:50
And
31:50
the
31:51
other
31:51
thing
31:51
too
31:51
is
31:51
that
31:52
I
31:52
think
31:52
that
31:52
understanding
31:53
that
31:53
is
31:54
really
31:54
good
31:54
because
31:55
first
31:55
off,
31:56
you're
31:56
right.
31:56
If
31:56
somebody
31:57
sits
31:57
there
31:57
and
31:58
oh
31:58
yeah,
31:58
I
31:58
read
31:59
it
31:59
was
31:59
three
31:59
pages
32:00
wrong
32:01
document.
32:01
Yes.
32:02
It's
32:02
gonna
32:02
be
32:02
like
32:02
a,
32:03
it's
32:03
gonna
32:03
be
32:03
like
32:03
a
32:03
book.
32:04
It's
32:04
gonna
32:04
be
32:04
like
32:04
a
32:04
countertop
32:05
book
32:05
which
32:05
you
32:06
go
32:06
to
32:06
read
32:06
that
32:06
thing.
32:07
Exactly.
32:08
If
32:08
you're
32:08
reading
32:08
a
32:09
document
32:10
at
32:10
night
32:10
because
32:11
you
32:11
have
32:11
insomnia
32:11
and
32:12
it's
32:12
putting
32:12
you
32:12
to
32:12
sleep.
32:13
That's
32:13
probably
32:13
the
32:14
right
32:14
document.
32:15

34:58
Now
34:59
here's
34:59
your
34:59
quick
35:00
tip.
35:01
Your
35:02
dishwasher
35:02
needs
35:03
a
35:03
little
35:03
help.
35:04
Load
35:04
those
35:04
crusty
35:05
pots
35:05
and
35:06
saucy
35:06
plates
35:06
on
35:07
the
35:07
bottom
35:07
rack
35:08
facing
35:08
the
35:08
spray
35:08
arms.
35:09
Because
35:09
your
35:09
dishwasher
35:10
is
35:10
not
35:10
a
35:10
wallflower,
35:11
it's
35:12
got
35:12
jets
35:12
to
35:12
flex.
35:13
Pop
35:13
utensils
35:14
in
35:14
the
35:14
basket,
35:15
handles
35:15
down
35:16
so
35:16
they
35:16
don't
35:16
cuddle
35:17
up
35:17
and
35:17
skip
35:17
the
35:18
scrub.
35:18
Here's
35:19
the
35:19
kicker.
35:20
Don't
35:20
pre
35:20
rinse
35:21
modern
35:21
dishwashers.
35:22
Laugh
35:22
at
35:23
stuck
35:23
on
35:23
lasagna
35:24
bits.
35:24
Just
35:24
scrape
35:25
off
35:25
the
35:25
big
35:25
chunks
35:26
and
35:26
let
35:26
her
35:26
rip.
35:27
Oh,
35:27
and
35:28
splurge
35:28
on
35:28
decent
35:29
dishwasher
35:29
detergent.
35:30
You
35:30
get
35:31
what
35:31
you
35:31
pay
35:31
for.
35:32
Unless
35:32
you
35:32
want
35:32
your
35:32
plates
35:33
looking
35:33
like
35:34
they
35:34
partied
35:34
with
35:34
spaghetti
35:35
sauce
35:35
all
35:36
night
35:36
long.
35:37
Save
35:37
water
35:38
time
35:38
and
35:38
your
35:39
sanity.
35:39
If
35:39
you
35:40
want
35:40
something
35:40
to
35:40
make
35:40
cleaning
35:41
around
35:41
the
35:41
house
35:41
a
35:42
little
35:42
easier,
35:42
head
35:43
to
35:43
arrowbroom.com
35:45
if
35:45
you
35:45
missed
35:46
part
35:46
of.
35:46
The
35:46
show
35:46
on
35:46
the
35:47
radio,
35:47
catch
35:47
the
35:48
around
35:48
the
35:48
House
35:48
show
35:49
on
35:49
your
35:49
favorite
35:49
podcast
35:50
player.
35:51
Now
35:51
let's
35:52
get
35:52
back
35:52
to
35:52
the
35:52
show.
35:53
Lost
35:53
it
35:54
all.
35:55
Wow.
35:55
And
35:56
did
35:56
not
35:56
get
35:56
anything
35:57
for
35:57
that
35:57
because
35:57
they
35:57
had
35:58
no
35:58
proof.
35:58
And
35:58
no
35:59
separate
35:59
policy
35:59
that
36:00
I
36:00
keep
36:00
harping
36:00
on
36:00
the
36:01
separate
36:01
policy.
36:02
Hey,
36:02
I
36:02
agree
36:03
with
36:03
that.
36:03
I
36:03
didn't
36:03
have
36:04
up
36:04
until
36:04
probably
36:05
a
36:05
year
36:05
ago,
36:05
I
36:05
didn't
36:06
have
36:06
a
36:06
separate
36:06
policy
36:06
for
36:07
my
36:07
tools.
36:07
I
36:07
didn't
36:07
have
36:07
a
36:08
separate
36:08
policy
36:08
for
36:08
my
36:08
artwork.
36:09
Yep.
36:10
And
36:10
a
36:10
little
36:10
bit
36:10
of
36:10
my
36:11
wife's
36:11
jewelry.
36:11
I
36:12
didn't
36:12
have
36:12
separate
36:13
policies.
36:13
I
36:13
went,
36:13
oh,
36:13
I'm
36:14
covered.
36:14
It's.
36:14
It's
36:15
a
36:15
homeowner's.
36:15
That's
36:16
all
36:16
in
36:16
the
36:16
house.
36:17
And
36:17
it
36:18
really
36:18
wasn't
36:19
when
36:19
I
36:19
started
36:19
talking
36:20
to
36:20
my
36:20
agent.
36:21
And
36:21
again,
36:22
not
36:22
bash
36:22
on
36:22
the
36:23
online
36:23
people
36:23
out
36:24
there
36:24
that
36:24
sell
36:24
stuff,
36:25
but
36:25
I
36:25
really
36:26
want
36:26
people
36:26
to
36:27
sit
36:27
down
36:27
and
36:27
talk
36:28
to
36:28
a
36:28
human.
36:29
Yeah.
36:29
Talk
36:29
about
36:29
what
36:30
things
36:30
are
36:30
like.
36:30
And
36:31
if
36:31
you
36:31
can
36:31
share
36:31
some
36:32
pictures
36:32
and
36:32
go,
36:33
is
36:33
this
36:33
something.
36:34
Get
36:34
a
36:35
good
36:35
idea
36:35
of
36:35
what
36:35
should
36:36
be
36:36
covered.
36:36
Yeah.
36:37
No.
36:37
And
36:37
I
36:37
have
36:38
a
36:38
slight
36:38
bias
36:38
towards
36:39
independent
36:39
brokers
36:40
and
36:40
that's
36:41
just
36:41
because
36:41
they're
36:41
not
36:41
tied
36:42
to
36:42
one
36:42
company.
36:43
It's
36:43
not
36:43
that
36:44
the
36:44
branded
36:45
brokers
36:45
are
36:46
bad
36:46
or
36:47
evil.
36:47
They're
36:47
not
36:47
bad.
36:48
But
36:49
the
36:49
independent
36:49
broker
36:50
is
36:50
not
36:50
tied
36:51
to
36:51
one
36:51
company
36:52
and
36:52
therefore
36:52
they're
36:53
going
36:53
to
36:53
have
36:53
a
36:53
little
36:53
bit
36:54
more
36:54
of
36:54
your
36:54
interests
36:55
at
36:55
heart.
36:55
And
36:55
you
36:56
can
36:56
have
36:56
these
36:56
conversations.
36:57
Kudos
36:57
to
36:57
your
36:58
broker
36:58
for
36:58
sitting
36:59
down
36:59
and
36:59
telling
37:00
you
37:00
need
37:00
something
37:00
separate.
37:01
It's
37:01
not
37:01
a
37:01
sales
37:02
tactic
37:02
to
37:03
get
37:03
more
37:03
money.
37:04
It's
37:04
really.
37:04
That
37:04
is
37:05
truly
37:05
trying
37:05
to
37:05
protect
37:06
you.
37:06
Homeowners
37:07
policies
37:07
are
37:07
so
37:08
relatively
37:08
cheap
37:09
compared
37:09
to
37:09
an
37:09
auto
37:10
policy
37:10
when
37:11
it
37:11
comes
37:11
down
37:11
to
37:11
it.
37:11
Right.
37:12
It's
37:12
yes.
37:13
You
37:13
going
37:14
out
37:14
and
37:14
saying,
37:14
wow,
37:14
I
37:15
covered
37:15
that.
37:15
I
37:15
might
37:16
have
37:16
been
37:16
paying
37:16
another
37:17
$50.
37:18
It
37:18
was
37:18
stupid.
37:19
How
37:19
much?
37:20
What?
37:20
What
37:20
having
37:21
the
37:21
proper
37:21
insurance
37:22
was
37:23
as
37:23
far
37:24
as
37:24
the
37:24
cost.
37:24
It's
37:25
not
37:25
that
37:25
big
37:25
a
37:25
deal
37:26
considering
37:27
what
37:27
the
37:27
loss
37:28
is
37:28
if
37:28
you
37:28
didn't.
37:29
Oh,
37:29
no,
37:30
exactly.
37:30
I
37:31
have
37:31
a
37:31
separate
37:31
policy
37:32
for
37:32
my
37:32
artwork
37:32
and
37:33
collectibles
37:33
that
37:33
I've
37:34
gathered
37:34
over
37:34
time
37:35
and
37:36
that's
37:37
not
37:37
a
37:37
small
37:37
number.
37:38
Not
37:39
like
37:39
it's
37:40
not
37:40
even
37:40
one
37:40
piece
37:40
of
37:40
art
37:41
compared
37:41
to
37:41
some
37:41
clients
37:42
I've
37:42
had.
37:42
But
37:43
it's
37:43
a
37:43
significant
37:44
number.
37:45
But
37:45
the
37:45
annual
37:46
fee
37:46
for
37:46
that
37:46
is
37:46
actually
37:47
really
37:47
modest.
37:48
The
37:48
issue
37:49
is
37:49
you
37:49
do
37:49
have
37:50
to
37:50
get
37:50
it
37:50
appraised,
37:51
which
37:51
take
37:51
time
37:51
and
37:52
does
37:52
cost
37:52
money.
37:53
But
37:54
if
37:54
anything
37:55
is
37:55
lost,
37:56
the
37:56
artwork
37:56
and
37:56
collectibles,
37:57
which.
37:58
They
37:58
have
37:59
value,
37:59
but
37:59
I
38:00
mean,
38:00
they
38:00
have
38:00
sentimental
38:01
value
38:01
because
38:01
these
38:01
are
38:01
things
38:01
from
38:02
trips
38:02
and
38:02
personal.
38:03
Very
38:03
personal
38:04
things.
38:04
Yeah.
38:05
And
38:05
if
38:05
you
38:05
lose
38:06
it,
38:06
you
38:06
don't
38:06
get
38:07
the
38:07
personal
38:07
connection
38:08
back,
38:08
but
38:09
at
38:09
least
38:09
you
38:09
get
38:09
some
38:09
sort
38:10
of
38:10
compensation.
38:11
Yeah.
38:11
I've
38:11
got
38:11
one
38:12
piece
38:12
I
38:12
have
38:12
to
38:12
get
38:12
appraised
38:13
here
38:13
as
38:13
well.
38:14
That
38:14
I
38:14
went
38:14
online,
38:15
I
38:15
went,
38:15
oh,
38:16
that's
38:16
worth
38:16
a
38:16
lot
38:16
more
38:17
than
38:17
I
38:17
thought
38:17
it
38:17
was.
38:18
There's
38:18
a.
38:18
That's
38:18
always
38:19
the
38:19
surprise
38:19
to
38:19
you.
38:20
Yeah.
38:20
If
38:20
you
38:20
have
38:21
appraisals
38:21
too,
38:22
you're
38:22
supposed
38:22
to
38:22
get
38:22
them
38:23
updated
38:23
every
38:23
two
38:24
years
38:24
because
38:25
the
38:25
values
38:26
change.
38:26
Yeah.
38:27
The
38:27
updates
38:27
are
38:28
a
38:28
lot
38:28
less
38:28
money
38:28
than
38:28
the
38:29
initial
38:29
appraisal.
38:29
Yeah.
38:30
Yeah.
38:30
I've
38:30
got
38:30
something
38:31
that
38:31
say
38:31
it's
38:32
an
38:32
event
38:32
poster
38:33
from
38:33
the
38:33
1957
38:34
Monaco
38:35
Grand
38:35
Prix
38:35
that
38:36
I
38:36
bought
38:36
off
38:36
the
38:36
early
38:37
days
38:37
of
38:37
ebay.
38:37
That's
38:38
an
38:38
original.
38:39
Nice.
38:39
It's
38:40
super
38:40
cool.
38:40
But
38:40
I
38:41
was
38:41
looking
38:41
at
38:41
it
38:41
online,
38:42
going,
38:42
oh,
38:43
oh,
38:44
wow,
38:44
that
38:44
went
38:44
up.
38:45
That
38:45
added
38:45
zeros.
38:46
Okay,
38:46
I
38:46
got
38:46
to
38:46
pay
38:46
attention
38:47
to
38:47
that.
38:47
Oh,
38:48
no,
38:48
exactly.
38:49
When
38:49
I
38:49
had,
38:49
when
38:49
I
38:50
had
38:50
mine
38:50
updated
38:51
recently,
38:51
there's
38:51
one
38:52
painting,
38:52
and
38:52
this
38:53
is
38:53
the
38:53
one
38:53
that
38:53
is
38:54
so
38:54
mean,
38:55
so
38:55
much
38:55
to
38:55
me.
38:56
It
38:56
almost
38:57
doubled.
38:57
And
38:58
I
38:58
was
38:58
just
38:58
like,
38:59
oh.
39:01
Yeah,
39:02
absolutely.
39:03
But
39:03
it's
39:03
insurance.
39:04
It's
39:04
smart
39:04
to
39:04
have.
39:05
Because
39:07
with
39:07
art
39:07
too,
39:08
even
39:08
more
39:08
so.
39:09
That
39:09
could
39:09
be
39:09
a,
39:09
that
39:10
could
39:10
be
39:10
a
39:10
bathroom
39:11
bathtub
39:11
overflowing
39:12
upstairs.
39:13
It
39:13
could
39:13
be
39:13
something
39:13
so
39:14
simple.
39:14
It
39:14
doesn't
39:14
have
39:14
to
39:14
be
39:15
a
39:15
tornado
39:16
or
39:16
a
39:16
fire.
39:16
It
39:16
could
39:16
be
39:17
something
39:17
very
39:17
simple
39:18
that
39:18
gets
39:18
that
39:18
thing
39:19
damaged.
39:19
And
39:20
now
39:20
you're
39:20
trying
39:20
to
39:20
make
39:20
a
39:21
claim.
39:21
Exactly.
39:22
But.
39:22
And
39:22
you
39:23
just
39:23
mentioned
39:23
something
39:24
you.
39:25
And
39:25
you
39:25
had
39:25
asked.
39:26
Is
39:26
there
39:26
anything
39:26
we're
39:26
missing?
39:27
So
39:28
one
39:28
more
39:28
minute
39:29
of
39:29
climate
39:30
change.
39:31
So
39:31
climate
39:31
change
39:32
and
39:32
how
39:32
it
39:32
affects
39:33
insurance.
39:34
So
39:35
we
39:35
know
39:36
that
39:36
climate
39:36
change
39:37
is
39:37
causing
39:38
more
39:38
frequent
39:38
and
39:39
stronger
39:39
storms,
39:40
whether
39:40
it's
39:41
hurricanes,
39:41
tornadoes,
39:42
or
39:42
in
39:42
the
39:42
event
39:42
of
39:43
the
39:43
west.
39:43
In
39:43
the
39:43
west
39:44
are
39:44
fires.
39:45
Yeah,
39:45
much
39:45
bigger
39:46
fires.
39:47
What
39:47
that's
39:48
happening.
39:48
What's
39:49
happening
39:49
then
39:49
is
39:49
insurers
39:50
are
39:50
having
39:50
to
39:51
pay
39:51
out
39:51
more
39:51
than
39:51
they've
39:52
ever
39:52
had
39:52
to
39:52
in
39:53
the
39:53
last
39:53
few
39:53
years.
39:54
They've
39:54
been
39:54
huge
39:54
payouts,
39:55
which
39:55
is
39:56
why
39:57
insurers
39:57
are
39:57
leaving
39:58
some
39:58
markets
39:59
like
39:59
Florida
39:59
and
40:00
California,
40:01
and
40:01
we're
40:01
starting
40:02
to
40:02
hear
40:02
rumblings
40:03
about
40:03
it
40:03
in
40:03
some
40:03
parts
40:04
of
40:04
Oregon
40:04
and
40:04
that
40:04
sort
40:05
of
40:05
thing
40:05
where
40:06
you
40:06
cannot
40:06
get
40:07
a
40:07
policy
40:07
anymore.
40:08
And
40:08
what
40:09
that
40:09
means
40:09
for
40:09
us
40:09
as
40:10
individuals
40:10
is
40:11
a,
40:11
our
40:11
rates
40:12
are
40:12
going
40:12
to
40:12
go
40:12
up.
40:13
I
40:13
just
40:13
saw
40:13
a
40:13
news
40:14
story
40:14
the
40:14
other
40:14
day
40:14
talking
40:15
about
40:15
how
40:15
they're
40:15
going
40:15
up.
40:16
And
40:17
then
40:17
the
40:17
second
40:18
point
40:18
of
40:18
that
40:18
is
40:19
they're
40:20
going
40:20
to
40:20
be
40:20
much
40:21
more
40:21
difficult
40:22
in
40:22
their
40:22
negotiations.
40:23
They're
40:23
going
40:24
to
40:24
be
40:24
much
40:24
harder,
40:24
much
40:25
more
40:25
hard
40:25
nosed
40:26
because
40:26
they're
40:26
trying
40:27
to
40:27
protect
40:27
their
40:27
profits.
40:28
Which
40:29
just
40:29
leads
40:30
me
40:30
to
40:30
say,
40:30
again,
40:31
you
40:32
have
40:32
to
40:32
have
40:32
the
40:32
proof.
40:33
Without
40:33
proof,
40:33
you
40:34
are
40:34
in
40:34
a
40:34
much
40:34
weaker
40:35
negotiating
40:35
position.
40:37
One
40:37
other
40:37
thing
40:37
too
40:37
that
40:38
I'm
40:38
seeing,
40:38
and
40:38
this
40:38
is
40:39
just
40:39
a
40:39
little
40:39
side
40:39
note,
40:40
to
40:40
make
40:40
sure
40:40
you're
40:40
maintaining
40:41
your
40:41
property.
40:42
I'm
40:42
seeing
40:43
companies
40:43
out
40:44
there
40:44
that
40:44
are
40:44
name
40:45
brand
40:45
companies
40:45
that
40:46
are
40:46
jumping
40:46
on
40:46
to
40:47
either
40:47
satellite
40:47
companies
40:48
or
40:48
using
40:49
Google
40:50
Earth
40:50
and
40:50
stuff.
40:50
And
40:51
all
40:51
of
40:51
a
40:51
sudden
40:51
people
40:51
are
40:52
getting
40:52
in
40:52
an
40:52
email
40:53
or
40:53
in
40:54
the
40:54
mail
40:54
certified
40:54
to
40:55
them
40:55
saying,
40:56
we
40:56
see
40:56
stuff
40:57
on
40:57
your
40:57
roof
40:57
and
40:58
it
40:58
looks
40:58
like
40:58
you're
40:58
not
40:58
maintaining
40:59
your
40:59
property.
40:59
You
41:00
have
41:00
too
41:00
many
41:00
things
41:00
out
41:01
there.
41:01
Yeah,
41:01
better
41:02
get
41:02
it
41:02
done.
41:02
Or
41:02
we're
41:02
going
41:03
to
41:03
cancel
41:03
you
41:03
in
41:03
six
41:04
days.
41:04
Please
41:04
send
41:04
us
41:04
new
41:05
pictures
41:05
once
41:05
you
41:05
have
41:05
it
41:06
handled.
41:06
Yeah,
41:06
there's
41:07
a
41:07
restoration
41:07
company
41:08
in
41:08
Southern
41:08
California
41:09
that
41:09
started
41:09
up
41:10
a
41:10
separate
41:11
call
41:11
it
41:11
subdivision
41:12
that
41:13
is
41:13
wildfire
41:14
preparation
41:14
for
41:15
your
41:15
landscaping.
41:16
So
41:16
how
41:17
do
41:17
you
41:17
build
41:17
that
41:17
defense
41:18
perimeter
41:18
around
41:19
your
41:19
property
41:19
and
41:19
all
41:19
that,
41:20
which
41:20
is
41:21
all
41:21
great
41:21
for
41:21
all
41:21
the
41:22
natural
41:22
disasters.
41:23
We
41:23
have
41:23
all
41:23
kinds
41:23
of
41:23
advice
41:24
on
41:24
how
41:24
to
41:24
prepare.
41:25
Yeah.
41:25
And
41:26
with
41:26
that
41:26
one,
41:27
there's
41:27
one
41:27
piece
41:28
they
41:28
always
41:28
mention
41:28
do
41:29
home
41:29
inventory.
41:29
It
41:29
never
41:30
gets
41:30
done.
41:30
But
41:31
here's
41:31
the
41:31
thing,
41:31
when
41:32
it
41:32
comes
41:32
to
41:32
that,
41:33
if
41:33
you're
41:33
not
41:33
prepared
41:34
for
41:34
a
41:35
complete
41:35
loss,
41:36
you're
41:36
not
41:36
prepared.
41:36
You're
41:37
not
41:37
fully
41:37
prepared.
41:38
Yep,
41:39
100%.
41:40
And
41:40
technology,
41:41
I
41:41
will
41:41
say
41:41
is
41:41
getting
41:42
so
41:42
good
41:42
out
41:42
there.
41:43
I've
41:43
talked
41:43
to
41:43
with
41:43
some
41:44
of
41:44
these
41:44
companies
41:44
that
41:44
if
41:45
you
41:45
lived
41:45
in
41:45
Southern
41:45
California,
41:46
wildfire
41:47
area,
41:47
they
41:47
come
41:47
in
41:47
and
41:47
have
41:48
high
41:48
pressure
41:48
sprinkler
41:49
systems
41:49
that
41:49
they
41:49
can
41:50
put
41:50
in
41:50
with
41:51
storage
41:51
where
41:51
they
41:51
can
41:52
literally
41:52
put
41:52
a
41:53
fog
41:53
of
41:53
water
41:53
over
41:54
your
41:54
house
41:54
that's
41:55
already
41:55
plumbed
41:55
in.
41:56
There's
41:57
smart
41:57
devices
41:57
now
41:58
you
41:58
can
41:58
plug
41:58
into
41:59
your
41:59
home
41:59
that
42:00
monitor
42:00
your
42:00
electrical
42:01
system
42:01
that'll
42:01
tell
42:01
you
42:01
before
42:02
you
42:02
have
42:02
an
42:02
electrical
42:03
short,
42:03
you've
42:03
got
42:03
a
42:03
problem.
42:04
I've
42:04
got
42:04
a
42:05
new
42:05
product
42:05
showing
42:05
up
42:06
my
42:06
house
42:06
right
42:06
now
42:06
that
42:07
you
42:07
plug
42:07
in
42:07
the
42:07
wall
42:07
that
42:08
detects
42:08
open
42:08
flame
42:09
in
42:09
the
42:09
room.
42:10
Wow,
42:11
that's
42:12
very
42:12
cool.
42:12
I
42:13
got
42:13
that
42:13
showing
42:13
up
42:13
here
42:14
in
42:14
the
42:14
next
42:14
week.
42:14
And
42:15
literally
42:15
I
42:15
could
42:15
go
42:16
sit
42:16
behind
42:16
my
42:16
couch,
42:17
grab
42:18
a
42:18
lighter
42:19
behind
42:19
the
42:19
couch
42:20
with
42:20
it
42:20
being
42:20
on
42:20
the
42:20
other
42:21
side,
42:21
hit
42:21
the
42:22
lighter
42:22
and
42:22
it
42:22
will
42:22
say
42:23
open
42:23
flame
42:24
detected.
42:25
Wow.
42:26
So
42:27
technologies
42:27
is
42:27
going
42:28
to
42:28
help
42:28
us,
42:28
but
42:28
guess
42:29
what?
42:29
It
42:30
still
42:30
doesn't
42:30
solve
42:31
the
42:31
problem
42:31
that
42:31
you
42:32
still
42:32
need
42:32
to
42:32
have
42:32
this
42:32
stuff
42:33
inventoried.
42:34
And
42:34
Ken,
42:35
thanks
42:35
for
42:35
coming
42:36
on
42:36
today,
42:36
man.
42:36
You
42:36
guys
42:37
are
42:37
doing
42:38
something
42:38
that's
42:38
super
42:38
important.
42:39
And
42:39
the
42:40
most
42:40
important
42:40
thing
42:40
here.
42:41
How
42:41
do
42:41
people
42:42
find
42:42
you?
42:43
Www.
42:44
Virtual
42:45
Home
42:45
Inventory.com
42:47
is
42:47
the
42:48
website.
42:48
503-248-1101
42:51
is
42:51
the
42:51
phone
42:51
number.
42:52
I
42:53
am
42:53
more
42:53
than
42:53
happy.
42:54
Call,
42:54
ask
42:54
me
42:55
questions.
42:55
There's
42:56
no
42:56
high
42:56
pressure
42:57
sales.
42:57
I
42:58
really
42:58
just
42:58
want
42:58
to
42:58
educate
42:59
you
42:59
and
42:59
help
42:59
you
42:59
understand
43:00
why
43:00
you
43:00
need
43:00
all
43:01
of
43:01
this.
43:01
And
43:01
I'm
43:02
more
43:02
than
43:02
happy
43:02
to
43:02
answer
43:03
any
43:03
questions
43:03
you
43:03
have.
43:04
On
43:04
the
43:04
website
43:05
is
43:05
a
43:05
lot
43:05
of
43:05
the
43:05
same
43:06
info
43:06
that
43:06
details
43:07
it
43:07
all
43:07
out.
43:07
There
43:08
is
43:08
also
43:08
an
43:08
actual
43:09
inventory
43:09
on
43:09
there.
43:10
You
43:10
can
43:10
walk
43:10
through
43:10
and
43:11
see
43:11
exactly
43:11
what
43:12
I
43:12
deliver.
43:13
And
43:13
by
43:13
the
43:13
way,
43:14
everything
43:14
is
43:15
in
43:15
that
43:15
3D
43:16
model.
43:16
However,
43:17
also
43:17
downloadable
43:18
for
43:18
the
43:18
client
43:19
is
43:19
every
43:19
photo
43:20
that
43:20
I
43:20
take
43:20
inside
43:21
separately.
43:22
It's
43:22
all
43:22
organized
43:23
by
43:23
room
43:23
and
43:24
labeled
43:24
properly.
43:25
That's
43:25
downloadable
43:26
for
43:26
you.
43:27
And
43:27
when
43:27
I
43:27
do
43:28
things
43:28
like
43:28
the
43:29
model
43:29
numbers,
43:29
serial
43:30
numbers,
43:30
and
43:30
get
43:30
to
43:30
that
43:31
level
43:31
of
43:31
detail
43:31
or
43:31
other
43:32
individual
43:32
items,
43:33
I
43:33
do
43:33
schedule
43:34
those
43:34
on
43:34
spreadsheets.
43:35
So
43:35
you
43:36
have
43:36
that
43:36
scheduled
43:37
and
43:37
that's
43:37
something
43:38
you
43:38
can
43:38
build
43:38
upon,
43:39
you
43:40
should
43:40
build
43:40
upon
43:40
as
43:41
you
43:41
add
43:41
more.
43:42
And
43:42
the
43:42
other
43:43
thing
43:43
is
43:43
with
43:44
an
43:44
inventory,
43:45
once
43:46
you
43:46
have
43:46
it,
43:47
maintain
43:47
it.
43:48
So
43:48
for
43:48
the
43:49
next
43:49
year,
43:50
have
43:50
that,
43:50
whether
43:50
it's
43:51
on
43:51
your
43:51
computer
43:52
or
43:52
a
43:52
physical
43:53
one,
43:53
because
43:53
some
43:53
of
43:53
us
43:54
still
43:54
like
43:54
manila
43:54
folders.
43:56
Put
43:56
your
43:56
receipts.
43:57
Oh,
43:57
I
43:57
have
43:57
them
43:57
on
43:58
my
43:58
desk.
43:58
Yeah,
43:58
put
43:59
your
43:59
receipts
43:59
in
44:00
there.
44:00
And
44:00
once
44:00
a
44:01
year,
44:01
all
44:01
you
44:01
have
44:02
to
44:02
do
44:02
is
44:02
take
44:02
those
44:02
receipts,
44:04
find
44:04
those
44:05
items,
44:05
document
44:06
them,
44:06
you're
44:06
updated
44:07
hour
44:07
or
44:08
two,
44:08
you're
44:08
done.
44:09
There
44:09
you
44:10
go.
44:10
That
44:10
simple.
44:11
Ken,
44:11
Aaron,
44:12
thanks
