- 2:05Speaker 7: We're back. We've never even left.
- 2:07Speaker 3: No.
- 2:07Speaker 4: We've been staying here the whole time.
- 2:10Speaker 7: Okay.
- 2:11Speaker 5: I want to talk about, there's supposedly another episode of
- 2:13Speaker 5: Quiet On Set coming out.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I don't know when it is and what we're going
- 2:16Speaker 1: to see.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Oh.
- 2:18Speaker 1: This guy, Steve Burns, Blue's Clues.
- 2:20Speaker 5: Now this means a lot to me because I watched
- 2:22Speaker 5: a lot of this when my kids were little.
- 2:25Speaker 1: Blue's Clues, Blue's Clues.
- 2:26Speaker 5: And it was this guy and my kids were very
- 2:30Speaker 5: into it, especially I think Mackenzie.
- 2:32Speaker 1: And Drake, we would watch it.
- 2:34Speaker 5: And anyway, then one day they're like, he's retiring, he's leaving.
- 2:41Speaker 5: And the whole thing was Hey, guys, I'm going to college. Well,
- 2:44Speaker 5: he looked like he was about 35 at the time,
- 2:46Speaker 5: but he now I but he still looks the same.
- 2:48Speaker 1: He looks pretty good.
- 2:49Speaker 5: I don't know if he why he left what he
- 2:51Speaker 5: ever did. I don't know what happened to him, but
- 2:54Speaker 5: he has come forward. And, you know, of course, he's
- 2:56Speaker 5: weighing in saying, well, nothing happened to him because he
- 2:59Speaker 5: was a full blown adult.
- 3:00Speaker 1: He feels terrible about everything.
- 3:02Speaker 8: And he didn't do anything, did he?
- 3:02Speaker 1: He didn't do anything.
- 3:04Speaker 5: He's just like, I just want to check in, make
- 3:06Speaker 5: sure everybody's okay. He did like a post or something
- 3:08Speaker 5: about it. And anyway, then they replaced him with this younger,
- 3:13Speaker 5: cuter brunette, Blue's Clues guy. Yeah.
- 3:17Speaker 1: And I was like, how many other moms were suddenly like,
- 3:20Speaker 1: all right, bye, bye, Blue's Clues.
- 3:23Speaker 5: But anyway, I did see this thing and I thought
- 3:26Speaker 5: this was a great idea. This is why I kind
- 3:27Speaker 5: of put this because you're like, why are you talking
- 3:28Speaker 5: about this stupid topic?
- 3:30Speaker 6: Anyway.
- 3:31Speaker 5: I watched this thing where this– a TikTok where this
- 3:33Speaker 5: baby was sitting and watching a TV and it was
- 3:36Speaker 5: this older woman reading a book. And she goes, my
- 3:39Speaker 5: mom wanted to be part of caring for our child.
- 3:43Speaker 5: So my mom started her own YouTube page. that they
- 3:46Speaker 5: could put on the TV of her reading stories and
- 3:50Speaker 5: doing things. And I thought that was so genius because
- 3:53Speaker 5: instead of them going crazy to see some character, like
- 3:58Speaker 5: how great that when they see their grandma come visit,
- 4:01Speaker 5: They're like, this is the rock star that I see
- 4:04Speaker 5: every day on my TV.
- 4:05Speaker 4: That is a great idea.
- 4:06Speaker 1: Yeah, there's Nana from TV and it's so easy to do.
- 4:09Speaker 8: Oh my God, that's such a good idea.
- 4:10Speaker 1: It's such a good idea.
- 4:12Speaker 6: They love seeing screens. It doesn't matter who's on it
- 4:14Speaker 6: more than.
- 4:15Speaker 1: You know, they love screens.
- 4:16Speaker 5: And she's reading books and stuff and, Talking and teaching,
- 4:18Speaker 5: but it's the grandma versus some other person that you
- 4:21Speaker 5: think is maybe doing sadistic messages or wearing Balenciaga.
- 4:26Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 4:27Speaker 9: So this is one way you could like do it.
- 4:29Speaker 7: I thought that was a great idea.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It really is.
- 4:32Speaker 5: So now Ariana Grande, these are from the blast. These are,
- 4:36Speaker 5: you know, people think this is just rumors that the
- 4:41Speaker 5: reason they're not talking, the reason that they, you know,
- 4:44Speaker 5: is that did they get any hush money from their experience? Now,
- 4:47Speaker 5: when we see Ariana Grande, they had her doing very
- 4:50Speaker 5: sexual things with a potato. Can I squeeze a potato?
- 4:56Speaker 5: But also, they could have just told her to do that,
- 4:59Speaker 5: and she just did it. The same thing with Ray Romano.
- 5:02Speaker 5: He was eating a pickle like a dick in a
- 5:05Speaker 5: clip because they told him to do it.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Because he loves dick.
- 5:08Speaker 6: What?
- 5:09Speaker 1: Because he loves dick.
- 5:11Speaker 8: Who knows?
- 5:12Speaker 4: Well, that guy, Chris Schneider.
- 5:14Speaker 7: Wanted everybody to do sexual things.
- 5:15Speaker 4: He wanted the kids to do it.
- 5:16Speaker 7: He wanted everyone to do it.
- 5:17Speaker 5: But also the kids may have not even known that.
- 5:19Speaker 5: But anyway, neither of them are talking, and I can
- 5:22Speaker 5: see why. Elizabeth Gillis has been married to her guy
- 5:27Speaker 5: for a while, and he's 20 years old. She was Victoria,
- 5:30Speaker 5: Victorious or whatever. Her guy is 20 years older. His
- 5:35Speaker 5: name is Michael Gillis. Corcoran, they met on set, and
- 5:39Speaker 5: when they met on set, she was only 16.
- 5:41Speaker 1: And then they.
- 5:43Speaker 5: Started dating conveniently when she was 19. You know, whenever
- 5:48Speaker 5: you meet and someone's under 18, you know, you just go, oh, wait,
- 5:53Speaker 5: you know, of course.
- 5:54Speaker 8: I have a terrible take on this, though.
- 5:56Speaker 1: But they're still married, so I'm just saying, yeah.
- 6:00Speaker 6: My take is, and this is not going to be
- 6:02Speaker 6: agreed with, which is fine. if you do take the
- 6:05Speaker 6: hush money, I think at that point there's now an
- 6:09Speaker 6: awareness of whether what happened to other people or what
- 6:13Speaker 6: happened to you, maybe you didn't know, whether it be
- 6:16Speaker 6: Michael Jackson. A lot of these people with Michael Jackson,
- 6:18Speaker 6: let's say, they were paid, and they were paid a
- 6:21Speaker 6: lot of money. And then when the money ran out,
- 6:23Speaker 6: and this is kind of the thing that we think
- 6:25Speaker 6: Corey Feldman may dance around with, we're not sure, because
- 6:27Speaker 6: he's always saying he's going to come forward, but he
- 6:29Speaker 6: never does. I feel like if you take the money
- 6:31Speaker 6: and you're taking money to be silent, that you should
- 6:36Speaker 6: then stay silent. Because you made a contract and you
- 6:41Speaker 6: accepted money to do that. And you should honor the contract.
- 6:44Speaker 6: That's the way I feel about it. If you didn't
- 6:46Speaker 6: take any hush money, now it's up to you to
- 6:48Speaker 6: do what you will. And people can wait as long
- 6:51Speaker 6: as they want to ever come forward. It's a scary thing.
- 6:55Speaker 6: But if you were paid, then you should honor the
- 6:58Speaker 6: contract you were paid for because you knew what you
- 7:00Speaker 6: were doing when you took that money.
- 7:01Speaker 8: And just because the money's gone now.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I'm sure whatever.
- 7:03Speaker 5: hush money there was, there's probably something that's like, I'm
- 7:08Speaker 5: not admitting to doing this to you, but for the
- 7:11Speaker 5: sake of lengthy trials and for us all to move on,
- 7:16Speaker 5: my attorney, Michael Cohen, no, just kidding, would.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Like to give you, would like to give, or.
- 7:22Speaker 5: Either or, would like to give you, you know, $ 130, 000. So,
- 7:27Speaker 5: but we're not admitting it. We're just saying we don't
- 7:29Speaker 5: want this in the press. We want you to thrive.
- 7:32Speaker 5: So there's probably something like that. And then time goes on.
- 7:35Speaker 5: And then with certain survivors, they might be like, you
- 7:39Speaker 5: know what?
- 7:40Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 7:41Speaker 5: And I do want to share because maybe this person
- 7:43Speaker 5: is still out there. You know, in the case of
- 7:45Speaker 5: Michael Jackson, of course he's dead, but they are feeling
- 7:48Speaker 5: like we, with the two people from the Neverland thing,
- 7:52Speaker 5: I don't know if they ever got, I can't remember.
- 7:55Speaker 5: There were so many in different trials and everything. But
- 7:57Speaker 5: one thing with Corey Feldman is, Once he weirdly became
- 8:01Speaker 5: Michael Jackson with his music. When Michael Jackson was already
- 8:05Speaker 5: kind of out of style, that's what I remember. I'm like,
- 8:07Speaker 5: why is he doing Mal Jackson from like 1983 in
- 8:10Speaker 5: like 1991? Like I was like, why is he suddenly
- 8:13Speaker 5: the dancing and everything? And he always said nothing ever happened.
- 8:19Speaker 5: He was a total delight.
- 8:20Speaker 1: But there was one story that I recall.
- 8:23Speaker 5: So I'm not saying this is 100%. I remember reading
- 8:25Speaker 5: some type of story. That he said when he was
- 8:27Speaker 5: hanging out with Michael Jackson, Michael Jackson said, oh, you
- 8:31Speaker 5: should look at this anatomy book. And he opened this
- 8:33Speaker 5: like science book or something and it did have male genitalia.
- 8:39Speaker 5: And that made him uncomfortable and he like left. But
- 8:41Speaker 5: he said that's all that's ever happened. He never touched him, blah, blah, blah.
- 8:45Speaker 1: So who knows?
- 8:46Speaker 8: He implies it's with other actors.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Corey Feldman.
- 8:50Speaker 5: And he also, Corey says there's all these other people,
- 8:54Speaker 5: you know, business people, you know, executives and everything that's
- 8:57Speaker 5: been happening for years. And when he came on my
- 8:59Speaker 5: show years ago, it was a difficult, really difficult interview.
- 9:03Speaker 5: And he was, he was basically like, no kid should
- 9:06Speaker 5: ever be on set ever. And I was like, well,
- 9:09Speaker 5: then how do you tell stories? Like there's some stories
- 9:12Speaker 5: where you need a kid.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Like, are we never going to ever have children like
- 9:17Speaker 1: in shows or anything or? You know, certainly there's, you know,
- 9:21Speaker 1: and I.
- 9:21Speaker 5: Definitely think things have gotten safer and this story definitely
- 9:24Speaker 5: helped it. But so, yeah, who knows?
- 9:28Speaker 1: Todd Chrisley. Chrisley knows best.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Doing 11 years and his wife's doing nine or something.
- 9:35Speaker 1: He must pay $ 755, 000 for a defamation lawsuit.
- 9:41Speaker 8: Against who?
- 9:41Speaker 1: Against, I'll read it to you. It's back in July
- 9:45Speaker 1: of 2021.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Okay.
- 9:46Speaker 5: This, he claiming he falsely accused this woman. So this
- 9:50Speaker 5: woman researched his case, okay? Found out all the things
- 9:56Speaker 5: he was doing, which he's now in prison for. So
- 9:59Speaker 5: claiming that he, falsely accused her, she's saying he accused
- 10:02Speaker 5: her of illegally snooping on a government program to pull
- 10:06Speaker 5: info on his family. It was also claimed he began
- 10:09Speaker 5: a social media campaign against the GDOR, I guess that's
- 10:15Speaker 5: what she worked for, and certain of his employees contending
- 10:18Speaker 5: that the investigation was illegal and improperly motivated. So according
- 10:23Speaker 5: to the court docs, a Georgia judge has ordered that
- 10:26Speaker 5: Todd Chrisley cough up $ 7. 55 in compensatory and punitive damages
- 10:32Speaker 5: and legal fees to Amy Doherty Hines after concluding that
- 10:38Speaker 5: he had launched a vicious social media crusade against her,
- 10:42Speaker 5: saying she was a liar and she wasn't, and it
- 10:45Speaker 5: was her job to do this, and therefore... Will she
- 10:49Speaker 5: ever see the money? It's going to be a long thing, but.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Wow. Interesting, right?
- 10:54Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 10:54Speaker 7: Very interesting.
- 10:55Speaker 8: Was she, did she work somewhere or do you think
- 10:57Speaker 8: she was like an internet sleuth?
- 10:59Speaker 1: No, I think she worked. Maybe I'm not exactly sure
- 11:02Speaker 1: that I have to go a little bit deeper as
- 11:03Speaker 1: this just popped up, but. You got to be careful.
- 11:06Speaker 5: But she shared the information and it was all accurate.
- 11:09Speaker 5: But then he was like, this person is an awful person. She,
- 11:12Speaker 5: she's a liar. She's, you know, all this other stuff.
- 11:16Speaker 5: And so then she was like, screw that.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:18Speaker 1: And she went, and it was proven that she wasn't
- 11:21Speaker 1: a liar.
- 11:22Speaker 6: Can't go around slandering someone's reputation and saying they're a
- 11:25Speaker 6: liar when they didn't lie.
- 11:26Speaker 8: And you're the one with the bad reputation, Todd.
- 11:29Speaker 7: And you're the liar, Todd.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Okay, this is a crazy story. This girl is named
- 11:33Speaker 1: Elisa Jordana.
- 11:34Speaker 5: A lot of people sent it to me because she
- 11:35Speaker 5: was on Juicy Scoop, and it was kind of an
- 11:37Speaker 5: odd interview. She came on the show because she was
- 11:41Speaker 5: recently in the news a few years ago for being
- 11:43Speaker 5: engaged to Andy Dick.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Oh.
- 11:47Speaker 5: Oh. And she wrote for Howard Stern and she was
- 11:50Speaker 5: in this like girl band and she had this whole
- 11:52Speaker 5: kind of crazy life story and she's pretty. And then
- 11:55Speaker 5: I was like, how the hell were you ever engaged
- 11:57Speaker 5: to Andy Dick? Like, and isn't he gay or bi
- 12:00Speaker 5: or whatever?
- 12:00Speaker 1: And isn't he like a drug addict? Did he pass?
- 12:05Speaker 1: Can you just see if Andy Dick's alive?
- 12:06Speaker 8: I think he's alive.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Anyway, he's been in and out of every bad situation.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:14Speaker 5: Basically, she– it was kind of crazy in the story
- 12:17Speaker 5: where basically he did not want anything to do with her.
- 12:20Speaker 5: And she was like, but we're engaged. I'm trying to
- 12:22Speaker 5: save– and I was like, were you really in love
- 12:23Speaker 5: with him? Like you really wanted to marry this guy.
- 12:25Speaker 5: It was very, very odd. So that was the show
- 12:28Speaker 5: and it was odd. Then I go out to a
- 12:31Speaker 5: restaurant and I see her and she's like at that
- 12:33Speaker 5: Wally's Cheese Bar situation.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Beverly Hills. Yes.
- 12:38Speaker 5: No, I think we were in the one in Santa Monica.
- 12:39Speaker 5: But anyways, with my girlfriend– And she's like, Heather, hi.
- 12:42Speaker 5: And she's very attractive. And she's, you know, looking for
- 12:45Speaker 5: a guy.
- 12:46Speaker 1: We're talking.
- 12:47Speaker 5: She has this like internet YouTube show, Kermit and Friends.
- 12:51Speaker 5: And she does a lot of streaming. Now, what I've noticed,
- 12:54Speaker 5: there's a lot of people that will stream all the
- 12:56Speaker 5: time because I think they get money if you stream.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Like on TikTok or whatever, if you're streaming all the time.
- 13:03Speaker 1: She was streaming. And she's in a car with her
- 13:06Speaker 1: boyfriend who didn't look like anything, no look or whatever.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Like she's whatever. But I just thought it was weird.
- 13:12Speaker 1: He didn't look like they matched.
- 13:13Speaker 7: Okay.
- 13:15Speaker 5: And somehow this girl calls and she thinks that the
- 13:18Speaker 5: girl is cheating with her boyfriend, whatever. And he's trying
- 13:21Speaker 5: to defend himself and they're streaming while they're driving.
- 13:24Speaker 8: So they're live streaming.
- 13:25Speaker 1: They're live streaming. And she smacks him.
- 13:28Speaker 5: And then at one point he grabs her hair or whatever,
- 13:31Speaker 5: but she was in fact arrested for Because then he
- 13:35Speaker 5: called the police and they had the evidence from the
- 13:38Speaker 5: stream that she did, in fact, smack him, which is assault.
- 13:41Speaker 7: He called the police while driving.
- 13:43Speaker 1: Or the girl that was the cheater girl did. It's
- 13:47Speaker 1: so weird.
- 13:48Speaker 5: I was like, when this first came up, I thought,
- 13:51Speaker 5: is this, again, like some weird publicity stunt? Yeah.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Like, and they're kind of all in on it. It
- 13:56Speaker 1: seems so weird. Like I.
- 13:58Speaker 5: I confronted because there's like a lot of fake stuff
- 14:00Speaker 5: on the Internet where like, oh, my God, this person
- 14:03Speaker 5: confronted this person for cheating and the acting so bad.
- 14:06Speaker 1: And you're like, this isn't true, but it still got
- 14:08Speaker 1: a million. Right.
- 14:09Speaker 5: And then you go down like four thing comments and
- 14:12Speaker 5: someone's like, this is horrible acting. And then you're like, oh, yeah,
- 14:14Speaker 5: this is fake. But it still gets all those views
- 14:17Speaker 5: to start.
- 14:17Speaker 10: Right.
- 14:18Speaker 5: So I was like, but no, she actually was really
- 14:20Speaker 5: arrested and now said it was like the worst day
- 14:21Speaker 5: of her life.
- 14:22Speaker 6: I mean, the lead actually to correct you, Heather. Strangely,
- 14:26Speaker 6: she said it was the second worst day of her life.
- 14:29Speaker 6: And I was curious, what was the first?
- 14:31Speaker 1: Going on Juicy Scoop?
- 14:34Speaker 8: What could have been worse than this?
- 14:36Speaker 1: Being engaged? Or probably what was worse is when Andy
- 14:40Speaker 1: Dick blew you off. Like, Andy Dick was like, you're
- 14:43Speaker 1: too crazy for me. Yeah.
- 14:45Speaker 8: When you're too crazy for Andy Dick, potato.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:49Speaker 8: Potato.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Did you see about Ricky Martin? Yes. Invisible boner.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Julie.
- 14:55Speaker 8: I've watched it 50 times.
- 14:57Speaker 5: Okay, well then why don't you cover this story?
- 15:01Speaker 11: I don't know why he was there at the Madonna.
- 15:03Speaker 11: He's at the Madonna show. She's doing like an homage
- 15:06Speaker 11: to Vogue and all that stuff. So they're sitting on
- 15:09Speaker 11: two chairs, him and Madonna, and they're critiquing all the,
- 15:13Speaker 11: like they're in a ballroom.
- 15:14Speaker 1: They have these cards, yeah.
- 15:15Speaker 5: And always a celebrity does this every show.
- 15:18Speaker 11: Okay, so like they're in a ballroom like from the,
- 15:20Speaker 11: you know, like the old days where it'd be like,
- 15:21Speaker 11: tens across the board or whatever.
- 15:23Speaker 5: Right.
- 15:24Speaker 7: So he's watching and you're like, he's sitting there and
- 15:27Speaker 7: these two guys, or three guys, and it might be
- 15:30Speaker 7: almost four.
- 15:30Speaker 4: It's like a group of men.
- 15:31Speaker 7: But the main two men.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Dancers.
- 15:34Speaker 7: Dancers come up, gorgeous, whatever.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Rubbing on him.
- 15:37Speaker 7: Rubbing on one down in his lap, the other one
- 15:40Speaker 7: behind that guy. Yes, it was a lot. Doing it
- 15:42Speaker 7: in the B.
- 15:42Speaker 8: It was very sexual.
- 15:44Speaker 9: Extremely.
- 15:44Speaker 11: Very, very, very sexual. So he's loving it and just
- 15:48Speaker 11: enjoying it. And then you just see the tent appear
- 15:52Speaker 11: in the pants. And at one point he gets up
- 15:55Speaker 11: and it's just like, he's got a boner.
- 15:58Speaker 8: He starts kind of flinging the tent around.
- 16:01Speaker 7: Yes, he's trying to wiggle it off, I think.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Shake it off?
- 16:04Speaker 4: Shake it off.
- 16:05Speaker 7: He's trying to shake it off.
- 16:06Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 16:07Speaker 11: It was pretty, you know, because some people are like, oh,
- 16:10Speaker 11: it's just like his pants and the pants are loose
- 16:12Speaker 11: and blah, blah, blah.
- 16:13Speaker 7: But I mean, I'm no expert, but it looked like
- 16:18Speaker 7: a bone. It looked like a bone.
- 16:19Speaker 5: Well, I have not gone to this Madonna concert. I've
- 16:21Speaker 5: gone to many others. Seeing a lot of clips from it.
- 16:26Speaker 5: I heard it's great. Someone wants to give me a
- 16:28Speaker 5: free ticket.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Fine.
- 16:29Speaker 5: But I really didn't have the great. But then last
- 16:31Speaker 5: night we were at dinner with a couple and they
- 16:34Speaker 5: said that they went and I did not realize this.
- 16:38Speaker 1: And this is what will make me.
- 16:39Speaker 5: Not want to go to protect her voice. She keeps
- 16:43Speaker 5: the arenas very hot. She doesn't turn on the air.
- 16:47Speaker 10: Nope.
- 16:48Speaker 7: Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. It's just one big
- 16:51Speaker 7: room of BO.
- 16:52Speaker 5: I'm okay with starting at 1030, even though it's supposed
- 16:57Speaker 5: to be 830. But if you're not going to turn
- 16:59Speaker 5: on the air. So, and then of course, people are
- 17:03Speaker 5: annoyed that she comes on at 1030. Well, now, you know,
- 17:05Speaker 5: she comes on at 1030. But since the ticket was
- 17:07Speaker 5: for 830, there was a class action suit against her.
- 17:12Speaker 5: And she and her attorneys are saying, we'd like this
- 17:14Speaker 5: thrown out because there's no real damages. besides like being
- 17:19Speaker 5: tired the next day for work that constitutes money that
- 17:23Speaker 5: I kept you, you know, so instead of going to,
- 17:26Speaker 5: you know, getting in your car and everything, going to
- 17:28Speaker 5: bed at 12, 15, you went to bed at 3 a.m.
- 17:32Speaker 5: And then you had to wake up the next day
- 17:33Speaker 5: to drive your kid to school. So like, Fortunately, nobody
- 17:37Speaker 5: got in a car accident. I mean, trying to say
- 17:39Speaker 5: the trauma, the same lawsuit that you guys are trying
- 17:42Speaker 5: to do against me for making you watch Seeking Sister
- 17:45Speaker 5: Wives and the other orgasm documentary, like, it's going to
- 17:49Speaker 5: be hard to prove, you guys.
- 17:50Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Yeah, but... Even for Mark Garagos, it's going to be.
- 17:55Speaker 4: Hard to prove.
- 17:55Speaker 11: When a court of law and a jury sees Seeking
- 17:59Speaker 11: Sister Wives and the vagina show, I think we have
- 18:02Speaker 11: a pretty strong case.
- 18:03Speaker 4: And then.
- 18:04Speaker 1: And the text would be like, hey, do you guys
- 18:05Speaker 1: mind watching this?
- 18:08Speaker 2: Evidence.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Jury, please.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:11Speaker 1: So anyway, I'm very disturbed by the air conditioning situation.
- 18:15Speaker 1: That's horrific.
- 18:15Speaker 7: That is horrific.
- 18:17Speaker 5: Now, this is kind of interesting. This woman went out
- 18:22Speaker 5: on Facebook and was like, hey, my husband loves attention
- 18:27Speaker 5: and please somebody help find him because he up and
- 18:31Speaker 5: left when I was pregnant with our second child. And
- 18:34Speaker 5: I don't know where he is, and I'd like to
- 18:36Speaker 5: serve him with divorce papers. So could somebody please find
- 18:39Speaker 5: him so I can divorce his ass? The internet went crazy.
- 18:44Speaker 1: It blew up.
- 18:45Speaker 5: They found him within 24 hours. They found his Bumble profile,
- 18:49Speaker 5: all of this stuff. He was somewhere like in Texas.
- 18:52Speaker 7: You know where he was? He was with Annette Bening
- 18:55Speaker 7: in Apples Don't Fire From.
- 18:56Speaker 11: The Tree in a cabin in Georgia with Lynette slash Savannah.
- 19:02Speaker 11: hiding out, hoping that his wife would remember how much
- 19:07Speaker 11: she should appreciate him.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Yeah, that's, this does sound like, so, but he was,
- 19:12Speaker 1: I love that, worst show ever on Peacock. I did
- 19:15Speaker 1: a special Patreon on it. I made them watch it.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I didn't really make you guys watch it. You said
- 19:20Speaker 1: you wanted to. We were inspired to watch it.
- 19:22Speaker 8: We are going to put it in the lawsuit.
- 19:24Speaker 1: That's good, we get another addendum? Okay.
- 19:28Speaker 5: Anyway, I just thought it's amazing how, That women can
- 19:33Speaker 5: find a fucked dude. Like if a guy is cheating,
- 19:39Speaker 5: like trying to date other women, multiple women. But like
- 19:43Speaker 5: what is crazy is there's so many grifter women out
- 19:46Speaker 5: there that I'm sure screw guys and actually. they love
- 19:50Speaker 5: them and take their money and whatever. But a bunch
- 19:52Speaker 5: of guys will never bother to find, like it's so,
- 19:55Speaker 5: I think it's just like with girls that do it
- 19:58Speaker 5: to guys, they kind of expect it might happen.
- 20:00Speaker 1: Like, oh, you're with a beautiful girl.
- 20:02Speaker 5: She was younger than you. She blew you off and
- 20:04Speaker 5: took your money. And then the guy's too embarrassed to say,
- 20:07Speaker 5: She really didn't like my dick that much.
- 20:09Speaker 1: She just liked my wallet.
- 20:10Speaker 5: But when it happens to a woman, women always believe
- 20:15Speaker 5: that the guy loves them because they're fabulous. They're like,
- 20:18Speaker 5: finally somebody gets me. They fall for it, the Dirty
- 20:21Speaker 5: Johns and everything. And then they find out he's dating
- 20:23Speaker 5: all these people or he left. And women are like,
- 20:26Speaker 5: I got you, girl. And if women could support women
- 20:29Speaker 5: in all aspects of life, not just when they're screwed
- 20:32Speaker 5: over by a romantic dude, but in all aspects of life.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 20:36Speaker 1: We could be so much further along.
- 20:39Speaker 11: Women are 52% of the population, not 49, not 50,
- 20:44Speaker 11: but larger population.
- 20:46Speaker 7: Just think about that for a second.
- 20:47Speaker 1: I didn't know that.
- 20:48Speaker 6: It made me think maybe Chrisley, Todd Chrisley's lady found
- 20:54Speaker 6: this guy so she can do the sleuthing.
- 20:57Speaker 4: And this looks.
- 20:57Speaker 6: Maybe she wants to get the divorce because she wants
- 21:00Speaker 6: to marry someone else. And perhaps it's that guy, Morgan Wayland.
- 21:03Speaker 8: Oh, from the chair? Because it literally looks like the
- 21:05Speaker 8: same woman.
- 21:06Speaker 7: Meanwhile, they're like, woman finds husband working at a gastropub.
- 21:10Speaker 1: This I thought was really funny. There's a spirit. You've
- 21:12Speaker 1: heard of Spearmint Rhino. It's a strip club.
- 21:15Speaker 2: Yes.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Well, they're suing Peppermint Hippo for trademark fraud.
- 21:22Speaker 5: And I thought that that is kind of funny because
- 21:24Speaker 5: normally it's not the same name, but it is a
- 21:28Speaker 5: minty flavor.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Spearmint or peppermint. Yeah. Rhino or hippo. They're both strip clubs.
- 21:33Speaker 5: So they're suing for it. And, you know, of course,
- 21:35Speaker 5: Juicy Scoop is trademarked. So I'm like, what could that be?
- 21:38Speaker 5: Because we always think if there's a juicy or they're
- 21:41Speaker 5: scooping it, there might be.
- 21:43Speaker 1: A trademark violation.
- 21:44Speaker 5: But someone now, if they win, someone could call themselves
- 21:48Speaker 5: the moist poop.
- 21:50Speaker 8: Right.
- 21:51Speaker 1: They could.
- 21:51Speaker 5: The moist poop podcast. And they may or may not
- 21:57Speaker 5: have a problem with it.
- 21:58Speaker 1: I don't know. Because juicy and moist.
- 22:00Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Poop and scoop.
- 22:02Speaker 7: You scoop a poop.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:04Speaker 1: You do. And then people can say, hey, I'm a
- 22:06Speaker 1: moisty pooper.
- 22:07Speaker 4: Love you.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Love you.
- 22:10Speaker 8: Moisty Pooper.
- 22:11Speaker 5: Moisty Poop on tour. And then they're like, I thought
- 22:14Speaker 5: Juicy Scoop was on tour. I meant to go to
- 22:16Speaker 5: Juicy Scoop, but I accidentally ended up at the Moisty
- 22:21Speaker 5: Poop stand-up experience.
- 22:25Speaker 8: People should be careful.
- 22:26Speaker 7: I think I have a Jewish cousin named Moisty Poop.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Moisty Poop, Poop Bird.
- 22:31Speaker 7: Moisty, Moisty, Moisty.
- 22:33Speaker 5: I have to just say, I am so sick of
- 22:35Speaker 5: these clickbait things, and I will bring it up all
- 22:37Speaker 5: the time, Tamara and Vicki of OC.
- 22:40Speaker 8: How– And Kim.
- 22:42Speaker 10: Who?
- 22:43Speaker 1: And Kim.
- 22:43Speaker 5: And Kim Zolciak does it too. How– why do you
- 22:47Speaker 5: guys keep doing this? You're on TV shows.
- 22:49Speaker 1: You're on a successful comedy tour.
- 22:52Speaker 6: It's a moisty poop comedy tour.
- 22:54Speaker 1: You don't need to do this. So she did this photo, like,
- 22:57Speaker 1: I need your prayers, the clickbait. So I'm like, I
- 23:01Speaker 1: got to see what this clickbait is. So we went through.
- 23:04Speaker 5: It's just old– body cam video of when she and
- 23:09Speaker 5: Corey got in a fight and the police came. But
- 23:11Speaker 5: the photo is her with an oxygen and her heart
- 23:16Speaker 5: and everything.
- 23:16Speaker 1: So I need your prayer.
- 23:17Speaker 5: So you would think you're either getting some testing done,
- 23:19Speaker 5: you had a heart attack, whatever. They'll just throw any
- 23:23Speaker 5: photo up about anybody themselves or other people.
- 23:27Speaker 8: Yeah, that was like back from when she had her
- 23:30Speaker 8: stroke seven years ago.
- 23:31Speaker 5: I want someone to know, how much are you getting
- 23:34Speaker 5: For this, Tamara, Vicki, and Kim, how much are you
- 23:37Speaker 5: getting for these clipbait things?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Is it every article.
- 23:42Speaker 5: It's $ 1, 000, you know, and you just give them access
- 23:45Speaker 5: to your Facebook and you post it? Or is it
- 23:48Speaker 5: like $ 150? Maybe it's so much they're like, I don't
- 23:51Speaker 5: care that Heather keeps bringing it up. And I don't
- 23:54Speaker 5: care that I cause my followers to waste money. Six minutes,
- 23:58Speaker 5: they'll never get back clicking through this shit. For no
- 24:01Speaker 5: info and no real story.
- 24:03Speaker 6: When you went to the link in the bio, was
- 24:05Speaker 6: it an external link?
- 24:06Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to go a couple times.
- 24:08Speaker 8: Oh, so then it's clicks on that website.
- 24:10Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying.
- 24:11Speaker 7: It's clicks, yeah.
- 24:12Speaker 8: So if they're getting 10,000, I'm happy to pretend I'm
- 24:16Speaker 8: in the hospital.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Oh, so now you're going to do it?
- 24:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:19Speaker 4: Everybody.
- 24:19Speaker 8: For my 14 followers.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Yes.
- 24:22Speaker 5: Well, thank you so much, you guys. You can find
- 24:25Speaker 5: out what their ailments are at julianbrandy.com.
- 24:32Speaker 8: Julianbrandy.com is the website.
- 24:33Speaker 5: It's the website for their funny Patreon, for their great podcast,
- 24:37Speaker 5: Dumb Gay Podcast. To come see us, of course, in
- 24:40Speaker 5: the next shows to come see us are in Phoenix
- 24:43Speaker 5: and Denver in May, heathermcdolland.net.
- 24:45Speaker 1: But now for my juicy interview.
- 24:48Speaker 12: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 24:51Speaker 12: know about the drawer. The drawer. Just the one square
- 24:56Speaker 12: before bed. Or two, you know. Nobody's watching.
- 25:02Speaker 1: You deserve a treat.
- 25:07Speaker 12: With eight flavours to choose from, you can choose the
- 25:09Speaker 12: flavour you favour with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 25:18Speaker 2: I'm Darman, and this is What Happens Next. Each week
- 25:21Speaker 2: on the show, I sit down with extraordinary people who
- 25:24Speaker 2: have faced tremendous setbacks and yet somehow have found a
- 25:29Speaker 2: way to turn them into their greatest strengths.
- 25:31Speaker 3: Life is one long lesson of chaos.
- 25:34Speaker 4: I'm heading to the Emmys, and I have police complaints
- 25:37Speaker 4: filed against me. When your free will was about to
- 25:39Speaker 4: be taken from you, what would you do if it
- 25:42Speaker 4: was given back?
- 25:43Speaker 3: Where did that need come from where you thought that
- 25:45Speaker 3: you had to succeed in order to feel loved?
- 25:48Speaker 4: He said, I have a work dad.
- 25:49Speaker 8: I need a home dad.
- 25:50Speaker 3: What happens next?
- 25:51Speaker 5: When I came in, he started crying.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Everybody in life encounters hardships. What defines them is not
- 25:57Speaker 3: those hard moments that they go through. It's about what
- 26:00Speaker 3: happens next.
- 26:01Speaker 1: I decided to risk it all. I realized how valuable
- 26:04Speaker 1: every day was.
- 26:04Speaker 7: You're worth the work. Listen, Dara, I'm not going to
- 26:07Speaker 7: pull punches.
- 26:08Speaker 1: You can use your voice even if it's shaped.
- 26:10Speaker 2: The stories are different, but the impact is the same.
- 26:13Speaker 2: Only one question matters. What happens next?
- 26:24Speaker 1: Hello and welcome to Juicy Scoop.
- 26:26Speaker 5: Well, you know I've been talking about buying Beverly Hills
- 26:28Speaker 5: on Netflix, the second season. That's Mauricio's big agency, drama-filled.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Second season of this show.
- 26:37Speaker 5: And I have one of the stars, Michelle Schwartz, who
- 26:41Speaker 5: had a lot of drama this season.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Welcome to Juicy Scoop for the first time.
- 26:45Speaker 4: Thank you for having me.
- 26:46Speaker 5: You are featured as the realtor and you are managing
- 26:50Speaker 5: one of the agencies out in the Valley, is that correct?
- 26:53Speaker 1: Is your position?
- 26:54Speaker 4: I'm actually the first female managing partner in the whole company.
- 26:57Speaker 6: Okay.
- 26:57Speaker 4: And I run three offices in Studio City, Sherman Oaks,
- 27:00Speaker 4: and Calabasas with about 160 agents.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Well, there you go.
- 27:04Speaker 10: Yes.
- 27:05Speaker 1: And you have those moments where you're like, yeah, I've
- 27:08Speaker 1: done it.
- 27:08Speaker 4: Okay.
- 27:08Speaker 1: You just fall off a turnip truck. And I love that.
- 27:12Speaker 5: First, let me ask you, being that you were one
- 27:15Speaker 5: of the first founding people. So let's get back to,
- 27:19Speaker 5: let's just get a little background on you. Like what
- 27:22Speaker 5: made you change? come to real estate? Did you go
- 27:25Speaker 5: to college before? Like, what is your history?
- 27:27Speaker 1: What's, where did, how did you get here?
- 27:29Speaker 4: So thank you. I, uh, I went to USC for college.
- 27:33Speaker 4: I know. Um, and, uh, when I graduated, I said,
- 27:39Speaker 4: I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I said,
- 27:41Speaker 4: my dad says, well, what are you going to do
- 27:42Speaker 4: in life? And I said, I'm going to be an
- 27:44Speaker 4: actress daddy. And he's like, well, not, no, you're not,
- 27:48Speaker 4: you have to get a job. So he says, you
- 27:49Speaker 4: like to talk on the phone a lot. And I said, yes,
- 27:52Speaker 4: I do. And he says, OK, you should go into
- 27:53Speaker 4: PR or into real estate. And so Mauricio has been
- 27:57Speaker 4: a longtime friend of the family.
- 27:59Speaker 1: How did you meet? How did he become a longtime friend?
- 28:01Speaker 1: What was the connection?
- 28:02Speaker 4: My dad's from Mexico City. Oh, Mexican Jews, Mexican Jews.
- 28:07Speaker 4: My dad and Eduardo are still very, very close.
- 28:10Speaker 1: That's Mauricio's dad.
- 28:11Speaker 4: That's Mauricio's dad. So we all grew up together, you know,
- 28:13Speaker 4: going on ski trips and what have you. So I've
- 28:16Speaker 4: known him. Most of my life.
- 28:18Speaker 1: So did you know him before he married Kyle? Absolutely.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Oh.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Oh, my God. How funny. And now... But he didn't...
- 28:25Speaker 1: Did he go to college, Mauricio?
- 28:28Speaker 4: I mean, according to his book, he did not.
- 28:30Speaker 10: Okay.
- 28:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 28:33Speaker 10: You know.
- 28:33Speaker 5: Because wasn't he, like, either selling suits or a personal
- 28:35Speaker 5: trainer or something before Kyle and he.
- 28:37Speaker 4: He was selling suits. Schmattas.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 28:40Speaker 4: He was selling schmattas.
- 28:41Speaker 1: No, yes.
- 28:41Speaker 4: He was selling suits.
- 28:43Speaker 10: Uh-huh.
- 28:44Speaker 4: And... I mean, he's told me this story and I
- 28:46Speaker 4: read it in this book and that, you know, on
- 28:50Speaker 4: Christmas Eve, I think one year he lost his job
- 28:53Speaker 4: and they were down in the dumps. And it sounds like,
- 28:56Speaker 4: you know, he had such a great partner that they
- 28:57Speaker 4: were able to kind of figure it out and build
- 28:59Speaker 4: it up together.
- 29:00Speaker 1: And that's how I got it.
- 29:01Speaker 4: Yes.
- 29:02Speaker 10: Of course.
- 29:03Speaker 4: And that's how he ended up getting his real estate license.
- 29:05Speaker 5: So it's so you knew him when then you got
- 29:09Speaker 5: the real estate license. And of course, Kathy Hilton's husband,
- 29:13Speaker 5: Rick Hilton, Kyle's brother-in-law, he had the Hilton in Highland.
- 29:18Speaker 5: Was that his first agency that he went to? So
- 29:21Speaker 5: he was working there first?
- 29:23Speaker 4: To be honest, I don't know. I would assume so
- 29:25Speaker 4: based on what I've read. But I don't know. I mean,
- 29:29Speaker 4: he and I are about 10 years apart. So there's
- 29:31Speaker 4: obviously like a natural gap. Yeah, there's a natural gap.
- 29:34Speaker 4: And when you're growing up to the interest level that
- 29:36Speaker 4: I had in his life was probably little to none
- 29:38Speaker 4: until I got to a certain age. age where I
- 29:41Speaker 4: started becoming aware of the people that were around me.
- 29:44Speaker 4: But when I graduated, I called Mo and I said,
- 29:47Speaker 4: You know, tell me about real estate.
- 29:48Speaker 1: And at that time, agency had not been developed yet.
- 29:51Speaker 1: He was still, okay.
- 29:52Speaker 4: Yeah, and this is still probably, he was significant on
- 29:55Speaker 4: his career, but he certainly wasn't like the mega realtor
- 29:58Speaker 4: that he is.
- 29:59Speaker 1: And this is before Kyle was on Real Housewives?
- 30:02Speaker 4: Yes, way before. So I kind of picked his brain
- 30:07Speaker 4: about real estate and I picked someone's brain about PR
- 30:10Speaker 4: and I ended up going in the PR angle.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Oh, you did? I did.
- 30:14Speaker 4: So I worked for a company for a very short
- 30:16Speaker 4: period of time and then I started my own PR firm.
- 30:18Speaker 4: So I had my own PR company for about eight years.
- 30:21Speaker 4: And then when I was pregnant, I was buying a
- 30:24Speaker 4: house and I realized that there was an opportunity that
- 30:27Speaker 4: I could maybe do better than what my realtor did.
- 30:30Speaker 4: And I started recognizing the similarities in the marketing tactics
- 30:33Speaker 4: that could be used from what I was doing for
- 30:36Speaker 4: products and companies and how to apply it basically into
- 30:39Speaker 4: real estate. So My transition was when I got pregnant
- 30:43Speaker 4: with my first son. I called Mo and I said,
- 30:45Speaker 4: guess what? I'm pregnant. And he's like, mazel tov. I'm like,
- 30:48Speaker 4: that's not why I'm calling. I'm calling because I'm going
- 30:50Speaker 4: to transition into real estate. He said, great. Have your baby.
- 30:53Speaker 4: Get your license. Let's go. Call me when you're ready.
- 30:56Speaker 4: And so that's what I did. And he was working
- 30:58Speaker 4: at Hilton and Highland at the time. And I remember
- 31:00Speaker 4: going into his office and he's like, OK, what is
- 31:02Speaker 4: it that you want? And you see this on the show.
- 31:04Speaker 4: I mean, we have a little convo about it. And
- 31:06Speaker 4: I just said, you know, I don't want to be
- 31:08Speaker 4: an assistant. I don't want to I work for someone else.
- 31:12Speaker 4: I want to just observe and be the next you, essentially,
- 31:15Speaker 4: is what it was. And that was before Real Housewives,
- 31:17Speaker 4: before any of that.
- 31:18Speaker 1: So then you joined the Hilton in Highland, too.
- 31:21Speaker 4: I did, with him.
- 31:22Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 31:22Speaker 5: So then cut to the moment where, you know, he
- 31:27Speaker 5: tells it on the show. We never really knew why
- 31:30Speaker 5: he left, but it made sense. And when I had
- 31:34Speaker 5: Kyle on the show, you know, I grew up in
- 31:36Speaker 5: real estate.
- 31:37Speaker 1: I was a realtor.
- 31:38Speaker 5: And I was like, so Kyle, there's got to be
- 31:40Speaker 5: some women now that you're on the hottest show that
- 31:44Speaker 5: are like, okay, I really want to be friends with Kyle.
- 31:48Speaker 1: So let's list our house with Mauricio.
- 31:50Speaker 5: I'm like, does he ever kind of know that and
- 31:52Speaker 5: bring you to dinner or to a listing appointment?
- 31:54Speaker 1: And she's like, totally.
- 31:55Speaker 4: Oh, that's so interesting.
- 31:56Speaker 1: She's like, yeah, of course.
- 31:57Speaker 5: Like, you know, she played the game well as far as,
- 32:02Speaker 5: you know, being a supportive wife.
- 32:04Speaker 4: Why not?
- 32:04Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:05Speaker 4: And so... Well, it all goes into the same pot, right? Right, yes.
- 32:08Speaker 4: So it's all good.
- 32:09Speaker 1: And then it made sense that.
- 32:12Speaker 5: It made sense that, you know, with the great, you know,
- 32:16Speaker 5: press of the TV show and all those eyes on
- 32:18Speaker 5: you that he decided to do his own thing. He
- 32:20Speaker 5: explains it really well in the show. He says, you know,
- 32:23Speaker 5: he had this incredible year and he was like, I
- 32:26Speaker 5: would like.
- 32:26Speaker 1: To be a partner in the firm. And they were like, no.
- 32:28Speaker 5: Now, I do want to say, I think there's something
- 32:31Speaker 5: really interesting about that because a lot of people have
- 32:33Speaker 5: talked about it.
- 32:34Speaker 4: And.
- 32:35Speaker 5: my now real estate changes and we never had teams
- 32:38Speaker 5: and stuff like that. But like when my parents did
- 32:41Speaker 5: really well, they would always, you know, always people would
- 32:45Speaker 5: be coming at them wanting to take them out to dinner, dah, dah, dah, dah.
- 32:48Speaker 5: We'll give you, you know, to the point where they're like,
- 32:50Speaker 5: $ 100 a month is all you have to pay, and
- 32:54Speaker 5: you keep 100% of your commission.
- 32:55Speaker 4: You mean poaching.
- 32:56Speaker 1: Yeah, poaching.
- 32:58Speaker 5: But also, we just want your name at this place
- 33:00Speaker 5: because it'll attract other agents.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Correct.
- 33:04Speaker 5: But normally, the better you do, the larger amount of
- 33:07Speaker 5: the commission you get to keep.
- 33:08Speaker 1: So when you start, it's like 50-50. Then it goes
- 33:11Speaker 1: to 75, blah, blah, blah.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:12Speaker 5: So in his case, was that really that weird that
- 33:18Speaker 5: the Hilton in Highland would be like, You're doing great.
- 33:22Speaker 5: Like maybe we give you even a larger point of
- 33:25Speaker 5: your commission or whatever, but maybe we don't want to
- 33:27Speaker 5: have another partner. It's fine that he left, but I
- 33:30Speaker 5: didn't think that's like a thing that normally happens where
- 33:33Speaker 5: people get like a law firm. It doesn't really work
- 33:36Speaker 5: like a law firm, does it?
- 33:37Speaker 4: I think it does, depending on the size of the brokerage.
- 33:40Speaker 4: I mean, a lot of brokerages, like probably when your
- 33:42Speaker 4: parents were doing real estate and even still today, there's
- 33:45Speaker 4: very few that are kind of like mom and pop owned.
- 33:48Speaker 4: There's either the mom and pop that are tiny. Or
- 33:50Speaker 4: their franchises.
- 33:51Speaker 3: Okay.
- 33:52Speaker 4: And the franchises don't really have many, I don't think
- 33:53Speaker 4: they have many options for bringing in partners.
- 33:55Speaker 3: Right.
- 33:56Speaker 4: You have an owner, and usually the owner is not
- 33:57Speaker 4: a salesperson.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Got it.
- 33:59Speaker 4: So they want to have certain pillars within their office.
- 34:02Speaker 4: But it's my understanding that with Hilton and Highland, it
- 34:04Speaker 4: was a single office, you know, business. And so they
- 34:08Speaker 4: probably just wanted to keep it small.
- 34:10Speaker 5: Right.
- 34:11Speaker 4: But, you know, at the agency, we have many partners.
- 34:14Speaker 4: We have people with title partner, partner titles.
- 34:17Speaker 1: So when he created the agency... So what I realized
- 34:22Speaker 1: is that it is a franchise. He does not own
- 34:26Speaker 1: all the offices.
- 34:28Speaker 5: It's like someone would get that office, and so he's
- 34:31Speaker 5: just the CEO. He's just like the spokesperson of it.
- 34:35Speaker 5: Explain it, because I found it to be confusing.
- 34:37Speaker 4: So California, because you get your brokerage license in California,
- 34:40Speaker 4: so the California offices are all owned by our headquarters
- 34:45Speaker 4: in Beverly Hills.
- 34:46Speaker 1: So he owns those.
- 34:47Speaker 4: Right.
- 34:48Speaker 1: Oh, OK.
- 34:49Speaker 3: Yes.
- 34:49Speaker 4: And then obviously he owns a name and likeness among
- 34:52Speaker 4: other people. And then that can be franchised. And so
- 34:55Speaker 4: then they get they have access to our assets and
- 34:57Speaker 4: to our systems, our internal like custom systems. And so
- 35:01Speaker 4: but I think as a broker, they can't function outside
- 35:04Speaker 4: of California.
- 35:05Speaker 10: Right.
- 35:05Speaker 4: So each independent office is well, each office outside of
- 35:09Speaker 4: California is independent. I want to say it's well, New York,
- 35:12Speaker 4: we acquired a company in New York. So they are
- 35:15Speaker 4: part of us as well.
- 35:17Speaker 5: So you go with him to the agency. What year
- 35:21Speaker 5: was that?
- 35:22Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 35:22Speaker 4: I was giving birth. I was literally having contractions with
- 35:25Speaker 4: my second son as they're like, okay, quick, get your
- 35:29Speaker 4: stuff out of Hilton and Highland. We have a new office.
- 35:33Speaker 4: Literally having contractions. And that was September 1st of 2011.
- 35:38Speaker 4: And my son was born the 8th.
- 35:41Speaker 5: Okay.
- 35:43Speaker 1: So you continue to work. It's my baby, yeah. You
- 35:45Speaker 1: continue to work.
- 35:47Speaker 4: And I'm.
- 35:49Speaker 5: Surprised it took this long, honestly, for there to be
- 35:52Speaker 5: a reality show about the agency. And being that there
- 35:57Speaker 5: was the success of Million Dollar Listing and there was
- 35:59Speaker 5: even Selling Sunset, did you.
- 36:01Speaker 1: Hear the talk leading up to we're going to have
- 36:04Speaker 1: a reality show too? And what was your thoughts?
- 36:07Speaker 4: I think it's a genius marketing play, right? I mean,
- 36:10Speaker 4: much like all of the efforts that were put in
- 36:12Speaker 4: from both Kyle and Mo, I mean, Real Housewives of
- 36:15Speaker 4: Beverly Hills was essentially a billboard for the agency.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Right, absolutely. And it has been.
- 36:19Speaker 4: So, I mean, he's kind of like the Kris Jenner
- 36:22Speaker 4: of real estate, right?
- 36:24Speaker 10: Right.
- 36:24Speaker 4: The poppager, let's call him. So, yeah, I mean, I
- 36:28Speaker 4: think it was a genius play. It was a matter of, like,
- 36:30Speaker 4: what's it going to be like? Because we don't want
- 36:32Speaker 4: to be like those other shows. And, in fact, we
- 36:34Speaker 4: had several teams that were on those shows. So we
- 36:38Speaker 4: had to kind of be very tactful about how we
- 36:40Speaker 4: were going to portray us.
- 36:41Speaker 5: You mean they were just– They weren't regulars, but they
- 36:43Speaker 5: were like presenting an offer or something?
- 36:46Speaker 4: No, like we had team members or we had agents
- 36:48Speaker 4: within our office and within our company that were on
- 36:51Speaker 4: some of the other shows, like Million Dollar Listing.
- 36:54Speaker 1: As a regular star?
- 36:55Speaker 4: Yeah, like James and David.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Oh, they were part of the agencies?
- 36:59Speaker 10: Mm-hmm.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Oh, okay, got it.
- 37:01Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Okay, got it.
- 37:02Speaker 4: And Tracy Tudor was with us for a while, and
- 37:04Speaker 4: she left a long time ago, well before the show. But, yeah,
- 37:07Speaker 4: I mean, we've had people come and go that are
- 37:08Speaker 4: on the other shows.
- 37:09Speaker 1: Okay, got it.
- 37:10Speaker 4: And I think that Mo was probably approached for it,
- 37:12Speaker 4: but it wasn't the right opportunity for him.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 37:16Speaker 4: So, yeah, I mean, it was really– I was interested
- 37:18Speaker 4: to see, like, what's our show going to be about, right?
- 37:21Speaker 9: Right.
- 37:22Speaker 4: And, you know, just kind of leading– I'm segueing you
- 37:25Speaker 4: into another question.
- 37:26Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 37:28Speaker 4: You know, after seeing season one, I was like, what? Like,
- 37:31Speaker 4: come on, we can do better.
- 37:32Speaker 1: I felt the same.
- 37:34Speaker 5: I thought season one was pretty boring. I did appreciate
- 37:38Speaker 5: that it was very realistic about the most realistic about
- 37:43Speaker 5: the actual business.
- 37:44Speaker 10: Yes.
- 37:44Speaker 5: Versus selling Sunset and even Million Dollar Listing, though I
- 37:48Speaker 5: love Josh Flagg and I like Tracy.
- 37:50Speaker 1: It's a little bit.
- 37:51Speaker 5: Like, you know, OK, got a deal. Like you never
- 37:54Speaker 5: saw any like the struggles of it.
- 37:57Speaker 1: And it doesn't happen that quickly.
- 37:59Speaker 4: You're not standing, you're sitting in a conference table negotiating
- 38:02Speaker 4: and stepping outside like that's not how it's done.
- 38:05Speaker 5: So I and the poaching and all that, I liked that,
- 38:08Speaker 5: you know, but I did think it was a little dull. Well,
- 38:11Speaker 5: we didn't know that Kyle and Marisa were having any troubles.
- 38:15Speaker 5: I didn't find like the two, you know, the Alexia,
- 38:19Speaker 5: the second daughter of theirs. There's Farrah, who is already
- 38:22Speaker 5: working there. I didn't really find like her stumbling and
- 38:26Speaker 5: not knowing how to turn on a light like that interesting.
- 38:28Speaker 5: You know, I was kind of like, okay, but so then,
- 38:31Speaker 5: but of course the second season comes and we know
- 38:34Speaker 5: now what's going on, which is sad about the demise
- 38:37Speaker 5: of the marriage.
- 38:39Speaker 1: Um, though they both.
- 38:39Speaker 5: Seem to be doing okay, but it's juicy. And so
- 38:43Speaker 5: what made you then go, did they ever approach you
- 38:46Speaker 5: for the first season?
- 38:47Speaker 1: Like what?
- 38:49Speaker 7: Okay.
- 38:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 38:49Speaker 4: There was a big casting call for the first season.
- 38:52Speaker 4: I made it, pretty significantly down the line.
- 38:54Speaker 5: Did you have someone come actually film you, like showing
- 38:56Speaker 5: a house? What was your reel like that you gave
- 38:59Speaker 5: to the producers?
- 38:59Speaker 4: Oh my God, are you kidding? It was like zero lighting,
- 39:01Speaker 4: no microphone, Adobe, like quick, whatever, the quick movie, whatever
- 39:06Speaker 4: it is, on my computer of me just ranting for
- 39:11Speaker 4: six minutes.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 39:13Speaker 4: Unedited, send it in. And I was just like, whatever,
- 39:17Speaker 4: fuck it, whatever happens.
- 39:17Speaker 1: And then what happened?
- 39:19Speaker 4: And I got a call 24 hours later. They're like, okay,
- 39:22Speaker 4: we want to meet with you. Like, what, what is this?
- 39:24Speaker 4: What have you done? Like no one, you know, again,
- 39:26Speaker 4: like submitting a six minute reel of me just verbal diarrhea, right?
- 39:31Speaker 4: And basically speaking- Was.
- 39:33Speaker 5: It ever getting competitive with other agents that like, did
- 39:36Speaker 5: you feel that once the first season came out and
- 39:39Speaker 5: also all the press it got and all the eyes
- 39:43Speaker 5: on it because of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, being
- 39:45Speaker 5: that you were a manager at these real estate office,
- 39:48Speaker 5: when someone would come and want to hang their license there,
- 39:51Speaker 5: did you feel like sometimes like, okay, are you really
- 39:54Speaker 5: here to sell some real estate? Are you trying to
- 39:56Speaker 5: get on the show and meet Mauricio?
- 39:59Speaker 4: Well, Maurice is accessible to everyone. So for me, like
- 40:02Speaker 4: anybody who wants to be surrounded by him, I think
- 40:04Speaker 4: is completely acceptable within like our organization. Um, we, you know,
- 40:09Speaker 4: he'll go out on a listing appointment with a newer agent.
- 40:11Speaker 4: If that means that we can get that listing, if
- 40:13Speaker 4: that was, if that would be impressive, right. If that
- 40:15Speaker 4: lands the listing, then he's all for it. And that's
- 40:18Speaker 4: what all of us managers do. Um, so that part
- 40:21Speaker 4: I have no problem with, but no, actually I didn't
- 40:22Speaker 4: hear about anybody wanting to be part of the show. Um,
- 40:26Speaker 4: I didn't even know I wanted to be part of
- 40:28Speaker 4: the show. I mean, I had, if I can tell
- 40:31Speaker 4: you what was happening in the moment.
- 40:33Speaker 1: Yes, tell.
- 40:33Speaker 5: Okay.
- 40:34Speaker 4: So hopefully this puts a little of my energy and perspective.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Okay.
- 40:42Speaker 4: I filmed the video, I think like March of last year.
- 40:48Speaker 4: And I had my mother and my sister one month
- 40:52Speaker 4: apart from each other had passed away. So November and
- 40:55Speaker 4: December passed. I had a passing of each of them.
- 40:58Speaker 4: So it was... This is literally what happened. So I'm
- 41:02Speaker 4: cooking Passover Seder.
- 41:03Speaker 3: Which is.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Wait, I'm sorry. They pass in November and December.
- 41:06Speaker 4: My sister in November and my mom in December. In 22?
- 41:09Speaker 4: In 22.
- 41:10Speaker 1: And then in March 23... This is me. Okay, so continue. Okay, sorry.
- 41:13Speaker 1: I just wanted... No, I'll get it. And I'm so
- 41:15Speaker 1: sorry for your loss. It's horrible.
- 41:17Speaker 4: It sucks. So anyone... You know, you have one person pass.
- 41:20Speaker 4: It's hard enough, too.
- 41:21Speaker 5: So.
- 41:25Speaker 4: Really what it was is, look, the Jewish holidays are
- 41:28Speaker 4: really important to us. I host all of them. I
- 41:32Speaker 4: cook all of it. And my mission, you know, is
- 41:36Speaker 4: just kind of keeping my mom's energy alive. And a
- 41:39Speaker 4: lot of it is through food. So my, you know,
- 41:42Speaker 4: for Seder, I was cooking and my mission was to
- 41:45Speaker 4: teach my boys how to make Nana's brisket. And so
- 41:49Speaker 4: I wanted everyone out of the kitchen. My emotions are
- 41:51Speaker 4: overwhelming because This is just so important for me and
- 41:55Speaker 4: for the kids and just all the pain and all
- 41:57Speaker 4: that stuff. And my father-in-law walks into the kitchen, shows
- 42:01Speaker 4: me his phone, and it's a text message of the
- 42:04Speaker 4: agent Tyler asking if he wants to sell his property.
- 42:09Speaker 4: And so I was like, what the fuck? Right?
- 42:12Speaker 1: I was like, oh, this is where the storyline comes. Okay.
- 42:15Speaker 8: Yes.
- 42:16Speaker 1: So an agent, Tyler.
- 42:19Speaker 5: Yes.
- 42:19Speaker 3: Yes.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Who has reached out to your father-in-law.
- 42:23Speaker 4: She didn't know it was my father-in-law, but it was
- 42:25Speaker 4: in that moment that all of it was hitting me.
- 42:27Speaker 4: Got it, got it.
- 42:30Speaker 10: And so.
- 42:32Speaker 5: And she was just cold calling? How does she have
- 42:34Speaker 5: a cell phone number?
- 42:36Speaker 4: How does that work? Sorry, y'all. It's all out there.
- 42:38Speaker 1: You can get people's cell phone numbers now.
- 42:40Speaker 4: Cell phone, email.
- 42:42Speaker 5: Okay.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Got it. Okay.
- 42:44Speaker 4: Most of the landlines don't work anymore these days.
- 42:46Speaker 1: So the cold calling doesn't work that way. Of course
- 42:47Speaker 1: it would have to be your cell phone.
- 42:48Speaker 10: Okay.
- 42:49Speaker 1: Continue.
- 42:51Speaker 4: So I was just, I got very heated about it.
- 42:53Speaker 4: And I instinct, I didn't know who she was. I'd
- 42:56Speaker 4: never met her before. So my knee-jerk reaction was to
- 43:00Speaker 4: call and like shut it down. And be like, take
- 43:02Speaker 4: my clients off of your list.
- 43:04Speaker 5: Right?
- 43:06Speaker 4: But again, in my frame of mind and my excitement,
- 43:11Speaker 4: but not in a good way, my energy was just
- 43:13Speaker 4: so intense. And I went off on her, much like
- 43:19Speaker 4: she says. I bit her head off. I don't think
- 43:22Speaker 4: she even spoke, honestly.
- 43:23Speaker 5: But.
- 43:26Speaker 4: It was the next day that I filmed that six minutes.
- 43:29Speaker 4: So let's just also say like I was reeling off
- 43:33Speaker 4: of it and I was coming on the heels of
- 43:35Speaker 4: this having just happened.
- 43:36Speaker 1: So in your six minutes you kind of tell the story?
- 43:38Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Oh, so they were like, we already have a juicy story.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:42Speaker 9: Okay, good.
- 43:42Speaker 4: And I didn't know that she was a cast member too.
- 43:44Speaker 4: Like I had no idea.
- 43:45Speaker 1: So I was just telling a story of things that
- 43:47Speaker 1: happened within the company. Right.
- 43:50Speaker 4: I didn't know.
- 43:52Speaker 1: But you know what's great about that, how you explained it,
- 43:54Speaker 1: is that.
- 43:55Speaker 5: I kind of felt like that, and we'll go to
- 43:57Speaker 5: the other moment that, you know, wasn't so great for you,
- 44:00Speaker 5: is that so many times when someone's like, I will
- 44:05Speaker 5: say about myself and about other people, I'm like, sometimes
- 44:08Speaker 5: something just hits you on the wrong day.
- 44:11Speaker 12: Right.
- 44:11Speaker 5: It just hits you on the wrong day. On another day,
- 44:14Speaker 5: you'd be like, other days you're like.
- 44:16Speaker 4: You know what? It's human.
- 44:18Speaker 5: But it's still that person received that version of you
- 44:22Speaker 5: and it's their story to tell that they got a
- 44:24Speaker 5: gross version.
- 44:25Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 44:25Speaker 1: And it is what it is. It's out there, you know?
- 44:28Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 44:28Speaker 4: And I'm honestly like, am I, is that something that
- 44:31Speaker 4: I do on a regular basis?
- 44:33Speaker 1: No.
- 44:33Speaker 4: Do I pride myself on that reaction or am I,
- 44:36Speaker 4: you know, would I choose to do it again like
- 44:39Speaker 4: the same way?
- 44:40Speaker 5: No.
- 44:41Speaker 4: But it is what it is and it did happen
- 44:44Speaker 4: and I take responsibility for the way that I spoke.
- 44:48Speaker 4: But I also think that what's interesting is that you
- 44:50Speaker 4: see that she kind of calls out a couple times
- 44:53Speaker 4: behind the scenes or in other conversations like, I think
- 44:56Speaker 4: something else is going on. And when she says it
- 44:58Speaker 4: to me in the scene, I was like, whatever, like,
- 45:01Speaker 4: what are you talking about? Like, you don't know what's
- 45:02Speaker 4: going on in my life. And I didn't react to it.
- 45:05Speaker 4: But in real life, after that scene, I went home
- 45:07Speaker 4: and I sat with that for a while. And I
- 45:09Speaker 4: was that was that was what resonated with me from
- 45:11Speaker 4: her conversation with me. And I said to my husband,
- 45:13Speaker 4: I was like, oh, my God, like she saw that.
- 45:17Speaker 4: And I didn't even know that I was giving that
- 45:19Speaker 4: like she saw it. It was it was a big thing. And,
- 45:22Speaker 4: you know, you know, She and I have had many
- 45:24Speaker 4: a conversation since. I like her very, very much. I
- 45:27Speaker 4: don't think it was a malicious outreach. But as you know,
- 45:32Speaker 4: in this industry, we have to kind of like protect
- 45:34Speaker 4: our territory of sorts, right? So it was a little
- 45:38Speaker 4: bit of like the mama bear wanting to protect my
- 45:40Speaker 4: clients and my own business. And like, no, don't step
- 45:43Speaker 4: on my toes. I don't step on yours. But at
- 45:46Speaker 4: the same token, like, did she deserve the... lashing that
- 45:49Speaker 4: I gave her.
- 45:50Speaker 1: Well, I, okay. I had something like this and I
- 45:52Speaker 1: can totally remember.
- 45:53Speaker 10: Okay.
- 45:54Speaker 4: Tell me.
- 45:54Speaker 5: So I had a friend, um, like, you know, so I've,
- 45:58Speaker 5: we were whatever, both like in our thirties or something,
- 46:01Speaker 5: young mom, fan, like friend from the school.
- 46:05Speaker 1: So we sell it.
- 46:06Speaker 5: We go through, showed her so many properties, found a house,
- 46:11Speaker 5: did the offer, was an escrow. And then she was
- 46:14Speaker 5: just like, I want out. We don't think we can
- 46:16Speaker 5: afford it. fighting with a husband.
- 46:18Speaker 1: Cold feet.
- 46:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:19Speaker 6: Whatever.
- 46:20Speaker 5: Then we have this other listing come out and this
- 46:23Speaker 5: broker's like, oh, I have these clients.
- 46:25Speaker 1: Can we get in early?
- 46:26Speaker 4: Stop it.
- 46:26Speaker 1: They have so much money. They don't know what to
- 46:28Speaker 1: do with it.
- 46:29Speaker 4: And it's them.
- 46:29Speaker 1: We let them come and it's them. And I'm like, hi.
- 46:33Speaker 11: Hi.
- 46:33Speaker 5: So then afterwards I call her and I go, what
- 46:37Speaker 5: are you, are you back looking for a house? And
- 46:39Speaker 5: she goes, yeah, we just ran into this woman like
- 46:41Speaker 5: on an open house. And I'm like, all right, I
- 46:43Speaker 5: need to, you know, sometimes I'm like, you need to
- 46:45Speaker 5: educate these people, like what the loyalty is. And I
- 46:48Speaker 5: would like show people property at the end of showing property.
- 46:50Speaker 5: I'd be like, I know today was really fun, but
- 46:53Speaker 5: unless you buy through me, I don't get anything from it.
- 46:56Speaker 1: You can't walk into an open house. Here's a stack
- 46:58Speaker 1: of cards, blah, blah, blah. You know? So anyway, I
- 47:02Speaker 1: had a conversation. She's like, oh, okay.
- 47:03Speaker 5: Well, she didn't want the house anyway, but she's like, okay,
- 47:05Speaker 5: I'll work with you. So then I guess she went
- 47:07Speaker 5: back to that realtor and was like, I'm going to
- 47:09Speaker 5: work with Heather because I've known her forever, whatever.
- 47:12Speaker 1: That woman, realtor, called me and she was pissed.
- 47:16Speaker 5: And I got it. And I was like, I don't
- 47:18Speaker 5: know what to tell you. Like, I wasn't trying to
- 47:20Speaker 5: poach her. She really has been my friend for 10 years.
- 47:22Speaker 5: We had two offers with her last year. But even
- 47:27Speaker 5: at that point, I was like, I don't really care
- 47:29Speaker 5: because I kind of felt like they were full of
- 47:30Speaker 5: shit and they weren't.
- 47:31Speaker 4: Going to buy.
- 47:31Speaker 1: And in the end, they bought like, you know, direct
- 47:35Speaker 1: from the seller through their brother, whatever. They wasted people's time.
- 47:40Speaker 3: Right.
- 47:41Speaker 1: But I did get the scolding.
- 47:44Speaker 4: From the other agent?
- 47:45Speaker 1: Yeah, as, like, a poacher. And, like, how dare you?
- 47:47Speaker 1: And your parents have this sterling reputation. Like, who are you?
- 47:50Speaker 5: And I'm like.
- 47:51Speaker 1: And I, like, remember, like, I'm still embarrassed by it.
- 47:53Speaker 1: Because it was.
- 47:55Speaker 4: But I don't know if it's... I don't know if
- 47:57Speaker 4: embarrassment is the right word. I don't know that you
- 47:59Speaker 4: should be embarrassed by it.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Yeah, well.
- 48:02Speaker 4: Well, it didn't work out anyway, right?
- 48:04Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, if she wasn't my personal friend prior
- 48:06Speaker 5: to that.
- 48:07Speaker 1: Sure, you wouldn't have fought for it. I would have
- 48:08Speaker 1: just been like, oh, hey, I guess you.
- 48:10Speaker 5: Didn't like my work on the two escrows I put
- 48:13Speaker 5: you in that you flaked on. Anyway, so then we
- 48:17Speaker 5: get into this moment where you're at the office with
- 48:20Speaker 5: the guys. And again, I think this was just like
- 48:25Speaker 5: a venting moment that if there weren't cameras, I don't
- 48:29Speaker 5: think it would have been that big of a deal
- 48:31Speaker 5: because you were basically, as a viewer, I saw you.
- 48:35Speaker 1: Being like, look, I don't know what Alexia.
- 48:38Speaker 5: Or Farrah or Sophia, who's just like 23 years old
- 48:41Speaker 5: is ever going to do. They are the daughters of Mauricio,
- 48:45Speaker 5: but like, if there's going to be a female in.
- 48:47Speaker 1: Charge of shit, it should be me. Like you basically,
- 48:51Speaker 1: am I right? You basically say it should be me.
- 48:52Speaker 1: I've done this. I've done this. I've done this. I've
- 48:54Speaker 1: been there from the beginning. I'm older than them. I
- 48:56Speaker 1: have a much more experience.
- 48:58Speaker 5: And, but they go with that info and tell the
- 49:02Speaker 5: girls and it was bad.
- 49:05Speaker 4: Well, I mean, I call it, in Spanish, we call
- 49:07Speaker 4: it like a metiche. Like someone that just like inserts
- 49:10Speaker 4: themselves who's nosy. And like, it was like they took
- 49:12Speaker 4: something that I said and wanted to run with it.
- 49:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 49:15Speaker 4: And.
- 49:16Speaker 5: Now, when you left that office doing those cameras and
- 49:18Speaker 5: knowing that you.
- 49:19Speaker 1: you didn't say there were, you know, horrible brokers.
- 49:23Speaker 5: You're just basically like, they're clearly not ready anytime soon to,
- 49:26Speaker 5: you know, thank you.
- 49:28Speaker 4: For understanding to take over the thing, but because they
- 49:32Speaker 4: are who they are and they're the stars of the
- 49:34Speaker 4: show and they're the daughters and Did you leave? Or
- 49:37Speaker 4: Ben and Joey are trying to get their place in there, right?
- 49:40Speaker 12: Right.
- 49:40Speaker 4: And using me as a stepping stone as well.
- 49:43Speaker 1: Right, the two guys.
- 49:44Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 49:44Speaker 5: But did you think when you left, did you have
- 49:47Speaker 5: any regrets or were you like, ooh, that was a
- 49:48Speaker 5: juicy scene?
- 49:49Speaker 1: Like, what was your thought when you left being like really,
- 49:53Speaker 1: you know.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Coming forth with your thoughts.
- 49:57Speaker 4: I mean, look, I'm a novice to reality television, right?
- 50:01Speaker 4: So any acting that I've done in the past, which
- 50:03Speaker 4: was just in classes, right, has been scripts. It's not very,
- 50:06Speaker 4: you know, it doesn't affect you and it doesn't bite
- 50:08Speaker 4: you in the ass later, right, whatever you say. So
- 50:13Speaker 4: I feel like when I was filming these scenes, like,
- 50:15Speaker 4: I go red, right?
- 50:17Speaker 2: Like, I.
- 50:18Speaker 4: do not remember what I said yesterday. And there's time
- 50:21Speaker 4: in between each time we're filming. It's not like back-to-back days.
- 50:25Speaker 4: So I didn't think anything of it because I don't
- 50:31Speaker 4: even know that I remembered saying it.
- 50:33Speaker 12: Right?
- 50:34Speaker 4: And you see that later because then it's like, it
- 50:36Speaker 4: bites me.
- 50:37Speaker 5: So you're at the open house. They tell Alexia, which
- 50:40Speaker 5: I have to say, I'm very impressed with Alexia.
- 50:43Speaker 1: So am I.
- 50:43Speaker 5: I'm very impressed with just her poise. And also her
- 50:48Speaker 5: interpersonal communication skills for a young woman, real estate aside,
- 50:54Speaker 5: the way that she can express her feelings, like when
- 51:00Speaker 5: the one guy that she dated briefly, but they were
- 51:02Speaker 5: platonic friends now, Talked about her and how she approached
- 51:05Speaker 5: him and was like, this is my reputation.
- 51:07Speaker 1: I don't like that you said that.
- 51:08Speaker 5: Like I felt she's just very forthcoming, like very impressed
- 51:12Speaker 5: with her.
- 51:13Speaker 1: I agree.
- 51:14Speaker 5: And so she gets the scoop and you have this.
- 51:19Speaker 1: Big open house in Encino and they approach you.
- 51:21Speaker 4: Don't you think it was shitty that they did it
- 51:24Speaker 4: at our own listing? I mean, I get it that
- 51:26Speaker 4: it's a show, but it was shitty.
- 51:28Speaker 5: I mean, I want to crawl into the ground thinking
- 51:32Speaker 5: about it for you.
- 51:34Speaker 7: It was bad.
- 51:35Speaker 5: It was bad because they come right to you as
- 51:37Speaker 5: two women, and they're like, why would you talk about
- 51:39Speaker 5: a woman like that? And I did think that one
- 51:41Speaker 5: thing I thought was, again, very good on their part.
- 51:46Speaker 1: What, playing the women?
- 51:47Speaker 4: The anti-woman role?
- 51:48Speaker 1: No, no.
- 51:49Speaker 6: Oh.
- 51:49Speaker 5: But the one thing I've noticed about younger women, some
- 51:56Speaker 5: of the positives about them, is that they have no
- 52:01Speaker 5: qualms about, like, pointing out like confrontation.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:04Speaker 1: Confrontation and pointing out and being like, duh, duh, duh, duh.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Right.
- 52:07Speaker 5: And so to have this younger woman be like, why
- 52:09Speaker 5: would you say that? And I could tell that you
- 52:12Speaker 5: were like, not totally remembering what you said.
- 52:15Speaker 4: I totally did not.
- 52:17Speaker 1: And your blue eyes looked.
- 52:18Speaker 5: Great though, even though it was at your open house
- 52:20Speaker 5: and the golden hour and the blue eyes were very
- 52:24Speaker 5: good in the Encino sun. But it was a moment
- 52:28Speaker 5: where I was like, I'm dying for this woman.
- 52:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Because it looked bad.
- 52:33Speaker 4: Well, by the way, I was shaking afterwards. Obviously, I
- 52:38Speaker 4: didn't know it was happening. I didn't know it was coming.
- 52:40Speaker 1: Because, of course, they approach you. They're like, how dare
- 52:42Speaker 1: you say this about us?
- 52:43Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Why would you say it?
- 52:46Speaker 5: So I was thinking if I were you, I'd be like, oh,
- 52:48Speaker 5: my God, what's Mauricio going to think? Also, this is
- 52:51Speaker 5: on TV, and I'm going to look like I am
- 52:54Speaker 5: a little snippy bitch. What were all the thoughts going
- 52:57Speaker 5: through your head?
- 52:58Speaker 4: I'm like, what the fuck is happening? You know, like
- 53:02Speaker 4: there was a part of me that like, again, I'm
- 53:04Speaker 4: new to this. I'm like, is this real? Is this really,
- 53:07Speaker 4: you know, is this really happening?
- 53:08Speaker 1: Right.
- 53:08Speaker 4: Oh my God. Like, holy shit. Like it was all
- 53:11Speaker 4: of that, like coming back to me going like, wow.
- 53:13Speaker 4: But you know, our conversation up there truly was probably
- 53:16Speaker 4: about 20 minutes long. So you only capture, you know,
- 53:19Speaker 4: elements of it. And, you know, I think that they
- 53:24Speaker 4: interpreted it like that. I was trying to like almost
- 53:27Speaker 4: like recruit. like Ben and Joey to like hey come
- 53:32Speaker 4: on me come on my team as like I want
- 53:34Speaker 4: to take you know I don't know I think that's
- 53:36Speaker 4: what they were that's how it was maybe delivered to
- 53:38Speaker 4: them like hey she gave us this juicy thing and
- 53:40Speaker 4: why would she tell us and you know you see
- 53:42Speaker 4: all of this the back end of I think.
- 53:45Speaker 5: It came off like they came to her like this
- 53:49Speaker 5: woman is insecure and talking shit about you and it's
- 53:54Speaker 5: not cool and it's not nice and we're going to
- 53:56Speaker 5: tell you I.
- 53:57Speaker 4: Don't think I was talking shit about them.
- 53:59Speaker 1: No, about the girl.
- 54:00Speaker 5: That's how they took the message. The guys took the
- 54:04Speaker 5: message to the sisters as Michelle was talking shit about
- 54:09Speaker 5: you as you are two women that there's no way
- 54:13Speaker 5: you two women can stand in front of a room
- 54:16Speaker 5: full of suits meaning male executives.
- 54:20Speaker 4: Right.
- 54:21Speaker 5: Which is a little sexist and a little old school.
- 54:23Speaker 5: Like I could see why I'm just saying, I could
- 54:26Speaker 5: see why it was interpreted that way.
- 54:28Speaker 4: I mean, I think it's just, it's a phrase.
- 54:30Speaker 1: It's a term.
- 54:30Speaker 7: Yeah, it's a term.
- 54:31Speaker 1: I agree. I know where you're coming from as far
- 54:33Speaker 1: as experience. Yeah.
- 54:36Speaker 5: Even the talk of it, you'd be like, I had
- 54:38Speaker 5: something very, I just thought of this, and this is funny, okay,
- 54:41Speaker 5: just to bring it back to me. I had something
- 54:44Speaker 5: like this happen years ago, about six years ago, on my,
- 54:48Speaker 5: I have like a Facebook group where you gotta, you
- 54:51Speaker 5: gotta be let in.
- 54:52Speaker 1: Because you gotta know what the podcast is about, whatever.
- 54:55Speaker 1: And it's a lot of people. It's like 45,000 people.
- 54:58Speaker 5: But years ago, someone and then some people bring up
- 55:01Speaker 5: topics like they would say, who's watching Buying Beverly Hills?
- 55:04Speaker 5: Then people talk and I, you know, allow that topic
- 55:07Speaker 5: to go up. So someone wrote, if Andy Cohen was
- 55:12Speaker 5: ever to retire, who should take his spot hosting the show?
- 55:16Speaker 1: So all the.
- 55:17Speaker 5: Comments are, you know, everything from whatever, Kathy Griffin to this.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Guy to whatever. And literally like not one person saying me. Okay.
- 55:26Speaker 4: And you're like, this is my page.
- 55:27Speaker 1: I like this.
- 55:29Speaker 5: Again, kind of hit me on the wrong day. And like,
- 55:33Speaker 5: cause I do that. I spent all these hours on
- 55:35Speaker 5: this group. The group doesn't make money. If there's no
- 55:37Speaker 5: ads on the group, it's kind of whatever. So many
- 55:40Speaker 5: other people have gotten rid of their group because it
- 55:42Speaker 5: turns toxic and whatever.
- 55:44Speaker 1: But I'm like, no, I'm going to keep the group.
- 55:45Speaker 5: People have made friends in the group, whatever. So I
- 55:49Speaker 5: wrote something like, Are you guys serious? Like, are you
- 55:52Speaker 5: not even going to look at me like this? I
- 55:54Speaker 5: was kind of joking the fact that nobody had said me.
- 55:58Speaker 1: But anyway, years later.
- 56:01Speaker 5: This enemy of mine, I thought he was a friend,
- 56:05Speaker 5: turned out to be an enemy. He goes on his
- 56:08Speaker 5: show and he brings that up as if it was
- 56:10Speaker 5: done like yesterday. And was like, I can't believe Heather
- 56:14Speaker 5: is saying she wants Andy to retire and that she
- 56:18Speaker 5: wants to take over.
- 56:19Speaker 1: When that wasn't at all the case. The context, yeah.
- 56:22Speaker 1: But it was like, who do you think you are?
- 56:24Speaker 1: And I was like, well, no, I was just joking
- 56:25Speaker 1: because this is my group.
- 56:27Speaker 4: No one's going to even mention me. It's also a
- 56:29Speaker 4: rhetorical question, right? Opinions are like assholes.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Everyone has them, right?
- 56:34Speaker 4: You can tell that.
- 56:35Speaker 5: So I was joking that like, seriously, guys? This is
- 56:38Speaker 5: almost comical that not one person thinks me, who hosts
- 56:41Speaker 5: a show... featuring Bravo stuff and Housewives for the last, whatever,
- 56:45Speaker 5: how many years it had been, seven years, you don't
- 56:47Speaker 5: think I could be an eligible person on this fucking conversation?
- 56:51Speaker 4: You wouldn't even, like, nominate me? So, like, I could
- 56:55Speaker 4: kind of see how you're coming from. Like, if anybody's looking.
- 56:59Speaker 5: To have someone take over if Mauricio wants to step back,
- 57:04Speaker 5: it should be me, is all you were saying.
- 57:06Speaker 10: Right.
- 57:06Speaker 1: You were being the squeaky wheel.
- 57:08Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 57:08Speaker 1: You were being the Bethany Frankel. You were stepping up
- 57:11Speaker 1: for yourself.
- 57:11Speaker 4: But that's also the story of my life, right?
- 57:13Speaker 9: Right.
- 57:13Speaker 4: Like, I wouldn't have the successes in my life if
- 57:15Speaker 4: I sat back waiting for somebody else to bring those
- 57:17Speaker 4: opportunities to me. Right. And I think that if I
- 57:19Speaker 4: were a guy stepping up, if I were, let's see
- 57:22Speaker 4: what Ben says, you know, if we get a season three. Right.
- 57:25Speaker 4: You know, that's how we end the season, right, is,
- 57:28Speaker 4: Ben's being approached to maybe join and run Mo's team.
- 57:31Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know what, is that a bad thing?
- 57:34Speaker 4: If Ben would have been like, Hey, what about me? Like, Hey,
- 57:36Speaker 4: can I come in and help you out? I have
- 57:38Speaker 4: a lot of assets. I can bring a lot of value.
- 57:40Speaker 4: I mean, I just don't know that if it was
- 57:43Speaker 4: a male in my position, speaking from my experience and
- 57:47Speaker 4: also my level of comfort. I mean, I think you
- 57:49Speaker 4: have to also take into account the personal relationship that
- 57:51Speaker 4: I have with them. It's not like I just came
- 57:52Speaker 4: onto the show and just discovered these people, right? Like
- 57:55Speaker 4: we have, interpersonal relationships and long, like longstanding relationships. So
- 58:00Speaker 4: my level of comfort, both with the girls and with
- 58:03Speaker 4: Mauricio and within the company is maybe a little different
- 58:06Speaker 4: than most people are giving me credit for. So I
- 58:08Speaker 4: feel like I can just speak a little freer, right?
- 58:11Speaker 4: I'm not afraid of my position in the company. Like
- 58:16Speaker 4: I know that the things that I've done are Hugely successful,
- 58:20Speaker 4: hugely beneficial to the company. But, you know, if it
- 58:22Speaker 4: was a guy stepping up and wanting to saying, hey, like,
- 58:24Speaker 4: you know, let's just let's talk about me for a second.
- 58:27Speaker 4: Like they wouldn't be the asshole.
- 58:29Speaker 5: So when it ends, the conversation with the sisters.
- 58:32Speaker 1: Yeah. Oh, God.
- 58:33Speaker 4: A hot mic moment.
- 58:34Speaker 1: And then so you so then you what was the
- 58:36Speaker 1: hot mic?
- 58:38Speaker 4: I said something like you fuckers.
- 58:40Speaker 1: Or something like that.
- 58:41Speaker 4: All right, I can't believe you fuckers. Or something like that.
- 58:44Speaker 1: And you were referring to the boys? No. No, that's funny.
- 58:48Speaker 1: To the guys?
- 58:48Speaker 4: No, no, no, production.
- 58:49Speaker 1: Oh, production.
- 58:51Speaker 4: Because I couldn't believe that I was like.
- 58:52Speaker 1: Ambushed.
- 58:53Speaker 4: Yeah, like they stormed the Capitol, right?
- 58:55Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 58:56Speaker 4: So I was like, oh my God, I couldn't believe
- 58:58Speaker 4: that this was really happening. And I was like shaking.
- 59:00Speaker 4: I mean, I must have down like half a bottle
- 59:02Speaker 4: of tequila afterwards. And, you know, and for them, like
- 59:05Speaker 4: I'm sure they were just like, all right, cool, scene's over.
- 59:07Speaker 4: Let's go have sushi.
- 59:08Speaker 1: Good scene. Yeah, of course.
- 59:09Speaker 4: High five.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Life's rude. My career is rude.
- 59:12Speaker 4: For sure.
- 59:12Speaker 5: What did you do to try to rectify it on
- 59:15Speaker 5: or off camera following that?
- 59:18Speaker 4: Um, I did. I definitely did. I think, um, you know,
- 59:23Speaker 4: once I realized that I had said that the business suicide,
- 59:28Speaker 4: which is A beautiful phrase, I must say.
- 59:31Speaker 1: What was the line you said? If the girls replace Mauricio,
- 59:34Speaker 1: it'll be business suicide?
- 59:36Speaker 4: Sounds about right.
- 59:38Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 59:38Speaker 4: I can't confirm or deny. I don't remember my words. Yeah,
- 59:43Speaker 4: I mean, it was strong.
- 59:45Speaker 5: Do you call to talk to Mauricio, or does he say,
- 59:49Speaker 5: let's come and have a talk?
- 59:51Speaker 4: Yeah, it was both. There was more to that scene.
- 59:54Speaker 4: We had a whole office meeting, and so he was
- 59:56Speaker 4: there to talk about some important stuff happening within the company.
- 59:58Speaker 10: Okay.
- 59:58Speaker 4: And then he's like, let's talk. And then when we
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: sat down and talked, you know, again, I'm very comfortable
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: with him, which is why I can give it back
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: to him. He's very comfortable just to watch. Yes.
- 1:00:08Speaker 5: He really, I can see why he is such a
- 1:00:10Speaker 5: good CEO and why he's so encouraging for people to
- 1:00:14Speaker 5: want to be in this business because the way he
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: communicates to people, I think Alexia gets this maybe from
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: him too.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Kyle's great as well. But like, he's just.
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: Very calming and assuring and like doesn't give you like
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: the nerves.
- 1:00:27Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: It's that laugh, right?
- 1:00:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:29Speaker 4: It's that laugh that kind of just like makes it
- 1:00:31Speaker 4: all okay.
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: But yeah, but I think, you know, I was capable,
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: I was comfortable having that conversation where with him again,
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: just because I'm comfortable with him.
- 1:00:42Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:00:43Speaker 4: Because I've asked for things and I'm in the position
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: that I am because I had to ask for them and,
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: you know, they were granted to me. And for me, I'm, again,
- 1:00:50Speaker 4: I'm just a person that like, if I don't ask,
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: then you don't know that I want it.
- 1:00:53Speaker 12: Right.
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: Right. So, Now I've brought it to the forefront. I
- 1:00:56Speaker 4: see where he stands and what he thinks about it.
- 1:00:59Speaker 4: I don't know. No is just a recommendation, right? I mean,
- 1:01:02Speaker 4: I can still continue to prove myself and get.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: To a place of yes. No is just a recommendation
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: is a great line.
- 1:01:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: That's a good one.
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: I mean, I don't know. No doesn't stop me.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:01:12Speaker 4: And I wouldn't be.
- 1:01:13Speaker 7: You.
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: Know, from a real estate perspective, hearing no all the time,
- 1:01:16Speaker 4: just like acting, right? That's why they're the two hardest
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: businesses that you're constantly being rejected.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Well, I decided I could either.
- 1:01:23Speaker 5: Spend my days flogging myself or I could get into
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: real estate.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: So I chose real estate. It's that brutal.
- 1:01:30Speaker 3: Yes.
- 1:01:31Speaker 4: We're being beaten down every day, for sure.
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: And so, okay, so what did you think when you
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: heard the news that Mauricio and Kyle were in fact separated?
- 1:01:43Speaker 5: Did you have any, were there any rumblings about it
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: or were you completely shocked?
- 1:01:47Speaker 4: No, completely shocked.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: I mean, I read it when it came out on
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: the internet, for sure.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: And did you think it was real?
- 1:01:56Speaker 4: Only because it was coming out of People Magazine.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Right, yeah. Yeah, I was like, that's pretty legit.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: I mean, a People Magazine exclusive was legit.
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: And now at the time that it came out, they
- 1:02:04Speaker 5: were actually all at the Aspen house filming, buying Beverly Hills.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: Probably shit-talking me.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: In hindsight. While kayaking and then going to Air May.
- 1:02:15Speaker 5: And so that it came out and they had their
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: time alone before some of the agents came to do that.
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Yeah, thank God for that. Like that.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: I would just say it because it's my show. I
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: thought about it later and I'm like, nobody knows who
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: put this out.
- 1:02:34Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: Nobody knows who put this out.
- 1:02:36Speaker 5: But that could be anybody. Just like Real Housewives of
- 1:02:41Speaker 5: Beverly Hills. Nobody knows who put out the story about Puppygate.
- 1:02:44Speaker 10: Right.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: It could be.
- 1:02:46Speaker 9: An assistant it could be an assistant production it could
- 1:02:49Speaker 9: be production yeah and same thing when people go oh
- 1:02:52Speaker 9: did you see you know this anonymous item about so
- 1:02:57Speaker 9: and so cheating or whatever.
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: I'm like you don't know that that's not a producer
- 1:03:01Speaker 5: trying to get some action going having these shows go
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: so I think whether it was them or something they
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: knew and this was a great opportunity to have the
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: family together and alone to have to talk about this
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: oh I don't think they knew You don't think they knew?
- 1:03:16Speaker 4: I don't think they knew.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Okay, well.
- 1:03:18Speaker 4: But I mean, it's just, I don't, maybe.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: There's a part of it.
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: No, I don't think the kids or anybody knew. But
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: I'm just wondering, no, I think, okay, I think someone
- 1:03:27Speaker 5: on production, somebody knew.
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: That it was happening?
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: That they were actually living separately and put that story
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: out there and had it drop at a time so
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: that it could drop while they're together and then could
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: film this reaction.
- 1:03:42Speaker 10: Interesting.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Either that or it was.
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: Really kind of great divine intervention reality style.
- 1:03:50Speaker 4: Because, you know, it was like Fourth of July, wasn't it?
- 1:03:53Speaker 4: So they always are together. Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: I didn't think about the time like that.
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: And then what do you think about the question I've
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: asked myself 150 times? Morgan and Kyle. What I liked
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: is we saw it happen on Beverly Hills.
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: We saw it happen in the press prior. Are they
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: just friends?
- 1:04:13Speaker 5: Is it just that she loves your music and is
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: helping to do a documentary about her? Are they just,
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: you know, there's an age difference, they're same sex relationship, whatever.
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: But what I thought was interesting.
- 1:04:23Speaker 5: About Mauricio in the show is he goes, the other guy,
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: what's Santiago?
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: It goes, what is this?
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: Cause I'm seeing in the press, like, are they, he's like,
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: I don't know, but he's, she's obviously getting a lot
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: from that relationship and I'm happy for her.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: I was like, okay. So then I was like, okay,
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: now I have a totally different perspective. of their marriage.
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: Now every marriage is different.
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: I really think that they really didn't communicate that much
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: as a couple.
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: I really don't.
- 1:04:53Speaker 5: I think they led a great life. I think every
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: time they went to a black tie, they had a
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: great time. I think they had a sexy time after.
- 1:05:00Speaker 5: I think she made a great meal. I think he
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: went off and did her thing. I think they didn't
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: really argue. Like she said, we really didn't argue. We
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: really didn't have our stuff.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: And so It's weird.
- 1:05:13Speaker 5: I really don't think he cares if she is in
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: a lesbian relationship for now. I just think every marriage
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: is different. And I think for some people, they're fine
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: chugging along.
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: Until they're not. Until it really is.
- 1:05:32Speaker 5: And you do think back to the psychic when she goes,
- 1:05:35Speaker 5: he'll never emotionally.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: which seemed so off kilter, so wrong.
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: Also, she was so ahead of the vaping game, right?
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: I mean, wow.
- 1:05:47Speaker 5: And I thought that was so weird and so rude
- 1:05:50Speaker 5: and everything.
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: And then all the years after that, I was like,
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: that chick's wrong. Look at that.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: But.
- 1:05:55Speaker 5: Anybody that gets divorced, it's because they're not being emotionally
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: fulfilled by their partner.
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: Maybe there's cheating. Maybe there's this.
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: But if you were completely best friends connected, I mean–
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: I don't know that you would be able to make
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: it work. So that's a very general statement that anyone
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: could say. Any divorced person, you'd say, oh, your husband
- 1:06:17Speaker 5: that you're divorced from, was he emotionally fulfilling you?
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: No. I found it very, I mean, on a personal note,
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: like when I had lost my mom, when I was
- 1:06:24Speaker 4: struggling with, you know, with everything. It was like he
- 1:06:27Speaker 4: could do no right to be perfectly.
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: Your husband.
- 1:06:29Speaker 4: My husband could do no right. I was like, everything
- 1:06:32Speaker 4: I say, you're not hearing me. Everything I say, you're
- 1:06:33Speaker 4: not doing. So, you know, and maybe, and by the way,
- 1:06:35Speaker 4: the show was also, I wanted to do something that
- 1:06:38Speaker 4: I have control over, which evidently in reality television, you
- 1:06:41Speaker 4: have no control over it. And I've learned that the
- 1:06:43Speaker 4: hard way.
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: With this show, did they say, can we show your
- 1:06:46Speaker 5: family or anything?
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: And was that a question?
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: Yes, but we said no.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Oh, you did say no.
- 1:06:51Speaker 5: Yes.
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: Okay, good. How old are your kids?
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: I have a, 12 year old and 14 year old.
- 1:06:57Speaker 4: So there are two boys. So they're like very impressionable. And,
- 1:07:01Speaker 4: you know, I'd rather if they show my kids it's
- 1:07:04Speaker 4: on my terms.
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: It's not.
- 1:07:05Speaker 6: Right.
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: I think that's really smart.
- 1:07:07Speaker 5: And I just think, you know, there are some kids
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: that are like dying to do anything.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: I mean, my kids go to school with every reality star,
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: you know, kids. So it's like it's not exciting for them.
- 1:07:19Speaker 5: Right. You know, I mean, I just remember the one
- 1:07:21Speaker 5: time that we were doing something for a possible pilot
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: for like a show about me. Not until recently did
- 1:07:28Speaker 5: my son say how much he even hated like those
- 1:07:30Speaker 5: two days of filming and that he was like, if
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: this show goes, I'm just not going to participate.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: And I'm like, what would I have done? You are
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: the show. Thank God the show didn't go.
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:41Speaker 5: But when did it go show that even though you
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: think that you're so close to your kids and they
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: can come to you and tell you everything.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: And he was acting like he was okay with the
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: mic pack.
- 1:07:49Speaker 4: He was afraid to tell you no.
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: He was becoming resentful and like praying that the show
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: wouldn't go.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: And thank God it didn't. Yeah.
- 1:07:57Speaker 5: And so it's like it's really hard when people put
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: their kids in it and they think, oh, they're fine. Or, oh,
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: let me just do this video with them. Or let
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: me exploit them in this way. And they're really not.
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:08:06Speaker 1: So I really think in this age of more.
- 1:08:09Speaker 5: Exposure, social media, and everything else, you really have to, like,
- 1:08:12Speaker 5: check in with your kids. And maybe they were okay
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: with it three years ago.
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: And now they're not.
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: Just, like, maybe they wanted to do gymnastics when they're six,
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: and they don't.
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: Want to do it at 12.
- 1:08:20Speaker 4: Yeah, their ideas are with the wind.
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: Yeah, the kids change, and so.
- 1:08:24Speaker 4: But also, like, imagine, okay, so now you know my edit.
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:08:28Speaker 4: Now you see me on the show, and my kids
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: are watching.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: Okay, so what happens?
- 1:08:33Speaker 4: So, I mean, literally, I was, like, I was holding
- 1:08:35Speaker 4: my breath, like, are my kids gonna hate me? Are
- 1:08:38Speaker 4: they gonna think differently of me? I was like, I
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: had to say, I drove them to school the morning
- 1:08:43Speaker 4: that the show was coming out and I was like,
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: okay guys, I'm like, you know mommy's spicy sometimes. You
- 1:08:49Speaker 4: know mommy says things in a really firm way and
- 1:08:51Speaker 4: they're like, yes. I'm like, but you know that I'm
- 1:08:53Speaker 4: not a bitch. And they're like, no. I'm like, you
- 1:08:55Speaker 4: know that mommy like really has good people. You know,
- 1:08:58Speaker 4: I had to like almost like sell myself. Exactly. And
- 1:09:02Speaker 4: so and they ended up watching it. I said, we're
- 1:09:05Speaker 4: going to watch it when you guys get home tonight.
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: And they ended up watching it throughout the day at school.
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: So it was so funny how my son is texting
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: me in the middle of the school day. And he's like,
- 1:09:15Speaker 4: why is Ben mad at you? And I'm like, what?
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: What are you doing?
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: It's just like at lunch watching it.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:09:20Speaker 4: He's like, did he really unfollow Brandon? And I was like,
- 1:09:23Speaker 4: get to school, get to class. So I was like, no,
- 1:09:26Speaker 4: everything's fine. Like, we're fine. It's it's a TV show.
- 1:09:28Speaker 4: But afterwards, they just said, mom, like that part was
- 1:09:31Speaker 4: really cringe. Don't say don't say that word again. And
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: I was like, OK, but do you still love me?
- 1:09:36Speaker 4: And they're like, of course we do. And they were
- 1:09:38Speaker 4: so proud of me. And they're like. Next time we
- 1:09:40Speaker 4: see him, we're going to punch him in the face.
- 1:09:41Speaker 4: I'm like, we're not going to do that. But I
- 1:09:43Speaker 4: appreciate the support and the backup. I'm like, but yeah,
- 1:09:46Speaker 4: I'm like, it's very fun to watch.
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: Have your kids ever brought you potential clients? Because I
- 1:09:51Speaker 5: had to do that for my parents. Like, listen up.
- 1:09:53Speaker 5: And I'd be like, mom, this guy, this Johnny's dad's
- 1:09:56Speaker 5: getting transferred. And like, give a hot tip. Have they
- 1:09:59Speaker 5: ever like brought you or through them you've gotten support?
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: Well, I used to let them go like bike around
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: the neighborhood and I would give them my business cards.
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: And I'm like, if you can bring me any lead,
- 1:10:08Speaker 4: I'll give you $ 100. And they would pass out my
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: business card.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: I love it.
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: I would do that.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: We had to deliver pumpkins to every house.
- 1:10:15Speaker 5: Oh, boy.
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: During October. And it would be because that was when
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: you really farmed.
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: No, they were like the $ 7.
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: And my dad would like run a truck and we
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: would be like.
- 1:10:25Speaker 4: That's manual labor right there.
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: Yeah, we'd have friends in the back.
- 1:10:28Speaker 5: No seatbelts, nothing in the back of a big pickup truck, dropping,
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: putting on each porch with like a, an envelope with
- 1:10:35Speaker 5: all the info and you know, these pumpkins. And finally
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: we realized, then we switched to coupons for the pumpkin.
- 1:10:42Speaker 5: It was too much, but yeah, it was a lot
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: of work.
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: Yeah. I put them to work for sure. Um, I
- 1:10:47Speaker 4: think it's good for them.
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 1:10:49Speaker 4: But no, no hot tips, but I do, I'm very
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: involved at the school and I, you know, Look, the
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: way that I work is all of my business is
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: repeat and referral and friendships. And I have a great
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: repertoire with, I like to make it fun. I like
- 1:11:05Speaker 4: to make what I do. I mean, contrary to what
- 1:11:07Speaker 4: you see, like I like to make my business fun.
- 1:11:09Speaker 4: But I also think that if you're going to have somebody,
- 1:11:10Speaker 4: what I do like about the show is that people
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: are going to know I'm somebody who is going to
- 1:11:15Speaker 4: have your back. I'm someone who's going to fight for you.
- 1:11:17Speaker 4: I'm not a, you know, you're not going to be,
- 1:11:20Speaker 4: I'm not going to be walked all over. And so
- 1:11:21Speaker 4: I have your best interest at heart. And I think
- 1:11:23Speaker 4: that when you're choosing an agent, you really want to
- 1:11:25Speaker 4: have somebody who's strong and firm. And so that I
- 1:11:27Speaker 4: think is, that definitely came across in the show and
- 1:11:29Speaker 4: I think it'll appeal to the right clientele. Let's put
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: it that way.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: Two more questions.
- 1:11:34Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:11:35Speaker 5: So if the show comes back for the third season,
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: do you have any, um, reservations about returning to it
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: and being on it?
- 1:11:44Speaker 4: Um, obviously yes, but at the same token, like, uh,
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: I think it gives me an opportunity as like a little,
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: you know, maybe you can get to know me in
- 1:11:53Speaker 4: a different light.
- 1:11:54Speaker 12: Right.
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: And in a more positive light. You know, everyone loves
- 1:11:57Speaker 4: a comeback kid. And and also, you know, reality TV,
- 1:12:01Speaker 4: like every season you start to love and hate different
- 1:12:03Speaker 4: people in a different way. So I think that I
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: think the show could do well with me on it.
- 1:12:09Speaker 4: I don't see why not.
- 1:12:10Speaker 5: And you were saying, how does your so how does
- 1:12:12Speaker 5: your husband feel?
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: Does he did it?
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: Was it stressful for him even though he wasn't on it?
- 1:12:17Speaker 5: having this extra job of filming? Because while you're actually
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: doing your real estate work, how often were you putting
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: on a mic pack and being followed around and stuff?
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: Thankfully, we didn't do any filming in my house or
- 1:12:28Speaker 4: with him around. So it was all, you know, going
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: to events and going, you know, to set locations in
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: the office. So he didn't see much of an impact
- 1:12:35Speaker 4: on it other than, you know, having to take the
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: kids to school when I was doing hair and makeup.
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: But I don't know. I think he'd be okay if
- 1:12:43Speaker 4: I didn't do it again. Okay. But.
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: He's okay if you do do it again.
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: But he's okay if I do do it again, yeah.
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: And you mentioned hair and makeup.
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: So if you want hair and makeup before the people
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: come to slap the mic on you, would.
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: You have to pay for that yourself?
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: 100%.
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: And how was the payment for it? You don't have
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: to tell me, but does it get better with each
- 1:13:05Speaker 5: season or was it?
- 1:13:06Speaker 4: That's my understanding is that there's a step-up basis each season,
- 1:13:09Speaker 4: which is normal from what I understand.
- 1:13:10Speaker 5: Yeah, it's never very much in the beginning.
- 1:13:12Speaker 4: Yeah, but it's okay.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: I mean, look.
- 1:13:16Speaker 5: The bigger picture is you're on a show that's in
- 1:13:19Speaker 5: 150 countries or whatever it is.
- 1:13:20Speaker 4: That's wild.
- 1:13:21Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:13:21Speaker 4: I mean, I think I thought to myself one day
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: after it came out, I was like, holy shit. Like,
- 1:13:26Speaker 4: this is a global show and it's, you know, it
- 1:13:28Speaker 4: was what, top 10 in 26 countries or something at
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: one point.
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: So it's pretty massive.
- 1:13:34Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: I don't know. I told my husband, I was like, look,
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: I'm like, We're going to take the escalator and see
- 1:13:38Speaker 4: where it takes us, you know, instead of just walking
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: up the stairs. And that's what this show is, I think,
- 1:13:42Speaker 4: for me, for business, for whatever our next steps are
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: as a family.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: I think what you're doing is smart. I think you
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: stay on it.
- 1:13:50Speaker 5: And I don't think you involve the family no matter
- 1:13:53Speaker 5: how much they try.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: And beg you. I would not. That's my advice.
- 1:13:59Speaker 4: They didn't involve anybody else's family. So I think it's fair.
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: Well, you never know.
- 1:14:03Speaker 5: A couple seasons down, they might be like, but you're
- 1:14:05Speaker 5: so funny, and da-da, you're family, and da-da-da.
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: I don't know. I think I would say no. My
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: husband would not really be cool with it.
- 1:14:13Speaker 4: And I understand that.
- 1:14:14Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:14:14Speaker 5: Because what happens is these husbands agree to do housewives
- 1:14:17Speaker 5: or whatever, and they're confident, and they're happy, and then
- 1:14:21Speaker 5: they get a taste of fucking losers in their basement
- 1:14:26Speaker 5: being like, he was mean to you when he poured
- 1:14:30Speaker 5: the coffee.
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: You should leave him.
- 1:14:31Speaker 8: And he.
- 1:14:32Speaker 1: didn't look and what was with that ugly sweater? And
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: the guy is like, what? Like I've lived a confident
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: life my whole life. Like who?
- 1:14:41Speaker 4: And it can really, it can mess with you.
- 1:14:43Speaker 5: And that's why there's, you know, a hundred divorces or
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: whatever it's been since the show started. So I would,
- 1:14:49Speaker 5: I would protect that your private marriage and family, like
- 1:14:53Speaker 5: as much as possible.
- 1:14:54Speaker 4: Yeah. And protect myself. I mean, I don't have comments
- 1:14:57Speaker 4: activated on my Instagram. I just don't care enough.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: Oh, so it's just a photo, but you could like it,
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: but you can't comment.
- 1:15:03Speaker 4: I think you have to have, like, a certain, like,
- 1:15:05Speaker 4: either I follow you or you follow me back. I'm
- 1:15:07Speaker 4: not really sure.
- 1:15:08Speaker 10: Oh, okay.
- 1:15:08Speaker 4: But I'm just, I have no interest in people's negativity
- 1:15:11Speaker 4: or what they, you know.
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: Hopefully it's all praise.
- 1:15:14Speaker 4: Again, that is smart.
- 1:15:15Speaker 5: Like, I feel like all these little things, like, you know,
- 1:15:18Speaker 5: when people enter this world, I always say there should be, like,
- 1:15:21Speaker 5: a little, like, I could be the Real Housewives consultant
- 1:15:26Speaker 5: or whatever. To just give you some of these tips
- 1:15:28Speaker 5: of how to get the most out of it, but
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: also these things can really protect your mental health.
- 1:15:34Speaker 4: Totally. Well, Netflix does a good job of that, I
- 1:15:36Speaker 4: will tell you. Oh, good, good. Yeah, they do highlight
- 1:15:38Speaker 4: that before we went out. But yeah, absolutely. I mean,
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: I just, again, you know, I just feel like I'm
- 1:15:44Speaker 4: a grown-ass woman. Like, I don't care what somebody... God
- 1:15:47Speaker 4: knows where has to say about a moment that they
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: saw in my life.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: That's good because a lot of people it would, you know. Well,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: I'm not trying to be a reality star.
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: I'm not going on like road was real world challenge, right?
- 1:15:56Speaker 5: But I mean, sometimes, you know, you could hear a
- 1:15:58Speaker 5: hundred really nice comments and it's that one and it just,
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: you know, it's really hard to get to that place
- 1:16:04Speaker 5: with the blinders.
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: I mean, Sonica, who's on our show, she went on
- 1:16:08Speaker 4: TikTok and she was like, I'm getting death threats. Like
- 1:16:10Speaker 4: people be nice.
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:16:12Speaker 4: And I'm like, what did she do that she deserves
- 1:16:13Speaker 4: a death threat? Like it's a reality show about real estate.
- 1:16:16Speaker 4: you know so anyhow.
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: I really enjoyed meeting you I'm sure you've gotten calls
- 1:16:23Speaker 5: from people that hopefully want to list their house or
- 1:16:26Speaker 5: get into real estate or whatever so how can they
- 1:16:29Speaker 5: find you what's the quickest way.
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: Best way is on Instagram Michelle Schwartz Realtor and I
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: do I like to help out anybody I like to
- 1:16:36Speaker 4: pay it forward so anyone who's been asking me advice
- 1:16:38Speaker 4: on real estate I've been engaging with them giving them
- 1:16:41Speaker 4: just top line info and I really like to teach
- 1:16:44Speaker 4: so yeah So that's probably the best way to get
- 1:16:47Speaker 4: in touch with me. And on there, you have all
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: my office information as well. So I hope I can
- 1:16:53Speaker 4: sell your house or help you buy a house.
- 1:16:55Speaker 1: Awesome. Thank you so much. That was great. Thank you.
- 1:16:57Speaker 4: Thank you for the opportunity.
