- 0:01Well, howdy and welcome to the Mark Driscoll show.
- 0:03I'm Pastor Landon Chase with here with Mark Driscoll.
- 0:06We've got a full show today. Charlie Kirk's alleged killer
- 0:09appears in court with an ELIP. Reader fills us in on what he
- 0:14said to his lawyer. A school district is now using
- 0:17teddy bears to try to transition kindergarteners.
- 0:20And Pastor Mark will recap his trip to DC.
- 0:24It was an awesome trip. You will not believe what he's
- 0:27about to say about it. Buckle up, it's going to be a
- 0:29good one. Let's jump right in.
- 1:22Well, that does not look like an innocent man.
- 1:26No. If if you're innocent, you're
- 1:28you're freaking out, you're anxious, you're defensive, you
- 1:34are not calm, you are not collected, you're certainly not
- 1:37smiling. Some of the conspiracy theories
- 1:41regarding the execution, the murder of the martyrdom of our
- 1:45brother, my friend Charlie Kirk, or just wild.
- 1:49First, why would a father turn a son in if he was innocent?
- 1:55I mean, you've got a son. Yeah, I've got sons.
- 1:58The last person to turn a guy in if he's innocent is his dad.
- 2:03Of I mean, you're sentencing your son to death.
- 2:05You're sentencing your son to death and you're destroying your
- 2:08entire family's legacy and name and reputation.
- 2:13You're sending your entire family into APR storm a media
- 2:18nightmare. You're sending your family into
- 2:22hiding from, you know, death threats and media.
- 2:25I mean, you're you're literally burning your entire family to
- 2:28the ground for generations. What father does that if it's
- 2:32not true? I mean, it's insane.
- 2:35And, and then to see the man, I mean, he doesn't look innocent
- 2:39to me. I mean, if I was an innocent
- 2:41man, I would, I would be sleepless, I would be exhausted.
- 2:44I would be defenseless. I would be, I would be
- 2:47distraught. I I I would not he he looks like
- 2:50a guy who has no remorse, no regret and.
- 2:54Maybe enjoying? It actually seems like he is
- 2:58enjoying the attention that he has achieved and accomplished
- 3:01his mission. And it's it's really remarkable
- 3:05and reprehensible. I'm glad that they have allowed
- 3:08media into the courtroom so that we can see it.
- 3:12I'm glad. And and what we're seeing here
- 3:15is is ultimately it's demonic. And when we speak of demonic,
- 3:20we're using a word from the Bible.
- 3:22Jesus half brother James actually uses the word demonic.
- 3:25He says that certain things are earthly, unspiritual meaning
- 3:29devoid of the Spirit of God and demonic.
- 3:31That's what James says. And demonic is simply this, like
- 3:36this is Satan's game plan. And Satan has unholy divine
- 3:41beings that go out to do his work, and his work is to steal,
- 3:45kill, destroy. And what happens with Charlie?
- 3:50The world has been, they've stolen a great man by killing
- 3:55him and by destroying or seeking to destroy the work that he was
- 4:00doing. And so this is all together
- 4:03demonic. This is evil.
- 4:05And you need to, we need to retain that category.
- 4:09And yeah, and just seeing the man, it just it, it brings an
- 4:12anger in me. It's like you're destroying a
- 4:15human being that has a wife, has kids.
- 4:20And what he was doing is he was sitting on a stool, sharing his
- 4:24microphone and platform with people who disagree with him in
- 4:29a way that was kind and agreeable.
- 4:32And so here is a civil man being murdered by someone who lacks
- 4:36all civility, not being destroyed by anything he has
- 4:40done to you personally because you've never met him, and simply
- 4:43being executed because you disagree with what he thinks.
- 4:49Yeah, I, I, I it's such a struggle to, I mean, even grasp
- 4:54that Charlie's gone. Like a year ago, he was at
- 4:57Election Sunday at our church and he was hanging out in your
- 5:00office with you and Erica, like. His daughter was down on the
- 5:03ground playing with the toys that your son plays with and our
- 5:07grandkids play with. He was such a sweet man for, for
- 5:11I I think everyone's struggling. There's feels like they're so
- 5:15many conspiracy theories going around right now and all this.
- 5:19Maybe talk to him about how you see the demonic behind
- 5:23everything and this genuinely could just be a demonically
- 5:27empowered 22 year old boy really that was able to pull this off.
- 5:32Yeah, there's a there's a line where mental health goes into
- 5:36demonic oppression or even possession.
- 5:40Demonic oppression is where evil comes over you to a degree that
- 5:45that you're participating with it, and it's a blurred line
- 5:49between your personality and their personhood.
- 5:52Demonic possession is where you're gone, like your
- 5:55personality is gone and their personhood is taken over.
- 5:59And here what you're looking at to me is a man who is just fully
- 6:05demonic. And so it often times starts
- 6:09with what we would call mental health.
- 6:11And I know this will be controversial.
- 6:14There are people that will say, like, I hear voices and they
- 6:18tell me to do horrible things. Well, that could be a
- 6:22psychological problem. It could be a biochemical
- 6:26hardwiring problem. It actually could be spiritual.
- 6:30You could have a divine being speaking to you just like you
- 6:33have a human being speaking to you.
- 6:36When you hear like you need to kill them, you need to murder
- 6:39them, you need to execute them, they need to die.
- 6:41When you hear that, well, that ain't God.
- 6:44We know that. So then is that you talking to
- 6:47yourself or is that a a demon talking to you?
- 6:51And Revelation 12/10 says that Satan is the accuser of the
- 6:54children of God, that he accuses them day and night.
- 6:57If you're hearing something in the second person, you may be
- 7:01having a a demonic encounter. And so the problem that we have
- 7:05today is we have a lot of people with mental health, but we don't
- 7:10have any clinical categories to deal with the demonic.
- 7:13Like in the DSM, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental
- 7:17Health Disorders, which is considered the Bible for mental
- 7:20health, it mentions the soul 0 times.
- 7:23It doesn't even acknowledge that you have a soul or that you're a
- 7:26spiritual being. It doesn't talk about the Holy
- 7:29Spirit or demons 0 times. So if you're having mental
- 7:33health issues and maybe it's spiritual or it's demonic
- 7:36oppression or possession, you go to somebody that's clinically
- 7:40trained but not spiritually aware.
- 7:43They don't even consider that it could be demonic.
- 7:47And what that means is if it's demonic, you can give them as
- 7:51many prescriptions as you want. Nothing is going to help because
- 7:55what they need is deliverance. They need the Spirit of God to
- 7:59cast the unclean spirit out and to replace the unclean spirit
- 8:03with the Holy Spirit so that they can live a new life as a
- 8:07new person by a new power. And so a guy like this,
- 8:11honestly, he needs to get saved. Otherwise, he is pure evil and
- 8:16he is just going to die and go to hell and get tormented
- 8:20forever because like Judas Iscariot who murdered Jesus, he
- 8:24is literally just handed himself over to Satan.
- 8:27And so this is what Judas does. It literally says Satan entered
- 8:31into him and then he murdered Jesus.
- 8:33Here you've got this guy, Tyler Robinson.
- 8:36Satan enters into him. He murders Charlie because
- 8:39Charlie is serving Jesus. This is a replay, a lesser
- 8:44replay. Charlie is not Jesus, but he is
- 8:46serving Jesus. This is a replay of what we saw
- 8:49with the murder of Christ would Judas Iscariot.
- 8:53Yeah, and we don't see any remorse from this kid.
- 8:57There hasn't been any. There hasn't been a public
- 8:58apology. I'm sorry to the wife, to the
- 9:02kids. There's been none of that.
- 9:03Because any sane 22 year old OK, you can, you can whatever.
- 9:09You must throw out the courage to make a horrible life ending
- 9:13decision for someone else. You have to sit in that the next
- 9:16weeks and months after it's been 3 months.
- 9:19That eats at a normal person any any sane.
- 9:22Anyone with a conscience? And it has not apparently with
- 9:26with this kid. And I think that really lends
- 9:30the demonic and just the soul. Take care and God bless.
- 10:54Speaking of the soul, we want to show this clip of Erica this
- 10:57week challenging parents and how to raise their kids so that this
- 11:01doesn't continue to happen. Yeah, because this often times
- 11:03starts with mental health and and you've got to check
- 11:07yourself. Like am I living online?
- 11:09Am I bitter? Am I starting to get suicidal
- 11:13ideation or am I starting to fantasize about harming others?
- 11:17I mean, there, there are some, there are some indicators that
- 11:20you're, you're getting darker and not doing well. 100% Well,
- 11:25let's roll that clip guys. I will never agree with
- 11:28political violence. My husband is a victim of it.
- 11:34I'm a victim of it. But what I'm trying to say here
- 11:39is that we can blame everyone else.
- 11:46We have to look in the mirror. When you become a father, when
- 11:49you become a mother, how are you raising your kids?
- 11:53Are you taking responsibility or are you giving them a device and
- 11:57saying go down that rabbit hole? I'm trying to go to Pilates
- 12:01class. You can just sit in the corner
- 12:04and look at your iPad or look at your phone and go down that
- 12:06rabbit hole and see what you can learn from that instead of being
- 12:09a parent. So my call to action from that
- 12:12is parents step up. Do you want your kid to be a
- 12:17thought leader or an assassin? That's where we're at.
- 12:23Do you think our political leaders have a responsibility to
- 12:25turn the temperature down right now?
- 12:27Well, I think everyone has a responsibility to do that, and
- 12:30I'm doing my part. I'm not in control of other
- 12:34people. Interviewer just takes it right
- 12:36back to the 10,000 foot view and Erica's trying to get granular
- 12:41and deal with the parents because that that's where this
- 12:44stuff really starts. Because I mean, we're raising a
- 12:47son, he's 2, he's awesome. The thing he doesn't ever get is
- 12:51screens. Like maybe on a flight for an
- 12:54hour he'll watch a screen, but that's the only thing 'cause
- 12:57he's a little boy and it's hard to fly.
- 13:00But it is wild what what we allow our children to watch,
- 13:05specially online. A stack came out this week that
- 13:09109 out of the 300 pieces of kids content on Netflix are
- 13:14LGBTQ plus like they have. It's an agenda.
- 13:18It's an agenda in a third of the things on Netflix that we just
- 13:21let our kids. It just goes on autoplay.
- 13:23So one thing we'll play and then it'll take it to a like show and
- 13:26a like show. YouTube's the same way.
- 13:28YouTube Kids. It's wild what all these
- 13:31platforms are doing to indoctrinate our kids, so we're
- 13:34really cautious. But do you believe Erica is
- 13:37right in calling out the parents in this?
- 13:39Yeah, no, I absolutely. And parents will give an account
- 13:43to God and, and at the end of the day, if you don't parent
- 13:46your child, you know, you are responsible in the sight of God.
- 13:51And, and I appreciate Eric and I I love Eric, I respect Eric and
- 13:54I and I would just say to everyone, pray for her.
- 13:57They're going into Amfest this week, which is a massive event.
- 14:00They've got security issues. JD Vance will be there.
- 14:04We know a lot of the team. It's an event without Charlie.
- 14:07So it's going to be very complicated.
- 14:09And Erica's in a double bind. She's in an impossible position.
- 14:12We're talking about this off show.
- 14:14Like if if she goes out and does media events, they're saying
- 14:17she's a terrible mother. She's at home with her kids.
- 14:20If she's home with her kids, they're saying she's a terrible
- 14:22leader. She's not out doing it.
- 14:24She's just going to get criticized either way.
- 14:26And she's a, she's a wonderful woman doing a great job under
- 14:30impossible circumstance. So pray for her and pray for her
- 14:32family and pray for a team going into Amfest.
- 14:35But statistically, we know that by the time a child graduates
- 14:39from high school, they spend more time on a screen today,
- 14:43substantially more time on a screen than they do in a
- 14:46classroom. That means that this is the
- 14:50primary influence on the raising of a human being.
- 14:54Well, that's a terrifying fact. And you know, to me, I, I mean,
- 14:59I grew up. What's wild is I grew up before
- 15:02the Internet. See anyone my age is like, man,
- 15:05that would be really nice. Like it's just a lot how much
- 15:07data we have all the time. Well, I, I graduated from
- 15:10college before the Internet. I have a degree in
- 15:13communications before the Internet.
- 15:16So like your generation and your son's generation, it seems
- 15:21normative. It's very new and so from my
- 15:23perspective, we're running a massive sociological,
- 15:27psychological experiment. We have no idea what the outcome
- 15:31is. All of the early indicators are
- 15:34it's devastating and causes mental health, suicidal
- 15:38ideation, brokenness. And there is, there isn't.
- 15:42The more time you spend online and the younger you start, the
- 15:46worse your life and future. There is no indicator that it
- 15:50has any benefit. So do you think parents should
- 15:52be more cautious and concerned about Netflix than the Jews?
- 16:00Like, we're so worried about the big picture.
- 16:01All the Jews are like, all these, like, Islam, all this
- 16:04stuff. What about in your house?
- 16:06Yeah, that, that seems to be where Erica's taking it, where
- 16:08you preach a lot. Yeah, I think you've got a
- 16:10guard. What comes into the technology
- 16:13of your home, especially when your children are younger,
- 16:16you've got to be very wary and careful at what age you give
- 16:19them a phone, a dumb phone probably today is a really good
- 16:23idea so you can get them in case of an emergency.
- 16:27Yeah. And I would say, too, when you
- 16:28send your kids over to someone's house, you know who is there?
- 16:32What is there, what, what are the ground rules?
- 16:34Like if you're sending someone over regularly to play at
- 16:37someone's house or for overnights?
- 16:39I mean, what are the rules there?
- 16:40What is happening? What is the exposure?
- 16:44You know, we're living in a day that honestly is custom built to
- 16:48break and to create mental health for children.
- 16:53This is not, this is not a culture that is built to raise a
- 16:57child. It's it's built to break a
- 16:59child. So a parent that's letting their
- 17:02kids have a lot of screen time, including just like free screen
- 17:05time on Netflix, cannot let the demonic into their.
- 17:08Yeah, I mean, well, all of a sudden the the child is probably
- 17:11getting a lot of anxiety. They're they're getting
- 17:14normalized sexuality and LGBTQIA, whatever the alphabet
- 17:18soup is. And also, then particularly with
- 17:21young boys, if they're into video games now, they're into
- 17:25pretty hardcore realistic violence and shooting.
- 17:30So you put mental health, sexual perversion and violence
- 17:35together. You're like at an age when the
- 17:38brain isn't fully formed and can't really process.
- 17:41And now you're blurring the line between reality and fantasy.
- 17:46And then you add to that, let's say in video games like chat
- 17:50rooms and interaction, and now you've got adults that are
- 17:53grooming them and you've opened up a portal into complete
- 17:59demonic abuse and perversion. I mean, you've got you've got
- 18:03gateway to sexual perversion, violence, adult coercion,
- 18:08dopamine hits on the front of the brain that isn't yet fully
- 18:12formed. And the question is, well, what
- 18:15does that child do? Probably nothing That looks like
- 18:18the fruit of the Spirit A. 100% And so I think Erica's point,
- 18:23like this Tyler Robinson kid, he was raised in a conservative
- 18:26Mormon household, all of a sudden ends up in transgender
- 18:32groups, sleeping with a guy boyfriend, just in a group with
- 18:36furries, like all this weird stuff.
- 18:38And he's only like a few years out of the household.
- 18:42This starts when you're raising your sons.
- 18:45Yeah, and what's weird too, it's just a weird, like, facts.
- 18:48So also the the shooter in Butler, PA, with President Trump
- 18:52and Tyler Robinson, the killer of Charlie Kirk, They're both in
- 18:54these underground, like bizarre sex fetish furry communities.
- 19:01These very, you know, small outlier, bizarre sex fetish
- 19:08groups, but they're producing, you know, shooters.
- 19:14I mean, it's, it's, it's strange and, and what you've got to,
- 19:18with a lot of the, the shootings at Christian schools and places
- 19:21of faith, the media sort of suppresses it, but it's a high
- 19:25proportion of transgenders, some of whom are on, you know,
- 19:29hormones and puberty blockers and, and, and, and testosterone
- 19:34and, and it's, it's sort of messing with the biology of the
- 19:37body. And, and nobody's asking like,
- 19:40well, is this affecting their mental well-being?
- 19:43And is it instigating, you know, unwell behavior?
- 19:46Nobody wants to ask that because it's like, well, that would be
- 19:49bigoted. Well, let's just let's just ask
- 19:51the question and and follow the facts.
- 19:53Yeah. And I think something that's
- 19:56been brought up a lot is both those young men are exactly who
- 20:00Charlie was trying to reach exactly.
- 20:02And it's exactly who you try to reach with a lot of your
- 20:04teaching. So to either of those young men
- 20:08or a young man that is being radicalized right now that could
- 20:12go make this decision, if they were sitting in my seat, what
- 20:14would you tell them? Well what?
- 20:16What is appealing to radical jihadist young men?
- 20:20What is appealing to radical anti-Semitic young men?
- 20:24What is appealing to perverted, radical trans young men?
- 20:28The underlying issue for most of them is bitterness.
- 20:33They're bitter against someone or something.
- 20:35They feel like somehow someone or something is failed them and
- 20:39owes them. And so they get better.
- 20:42And bitterness is a deep demonic root, and Satan and demons, they
- 20:46get a foothold, the Bible says, through bitterness.
- 20:49So even if you feel that you've been wronged, you have to
- 20:52forgive. And then you need to choose as a
- 20:55man to press through that which you feel is unjust and wrong.
- 21:00And you need to press into your future, get through your
- 21:03bitterness so that you can move on to your destiny and your
- 21:06legacy. And so, you know, whether it is
- 21:09the heterosexuals that suppressed you, or it's the Jews
- 21:12that it's suppressed you, or it's, you know, the colonialists
- 21:15that have suppressed you, whatever it is, stop being a
- 21:19damn bitter victim and a child. Grow up and be a responsible man
- 21:23pressed through whatever your excuse is.
- 21:26Go get a job, you know, worship Jesus Christ.
- 21:29Repent of your own sin. Take responsibility, you know,
- 21:33generate revenue, be a positive contributor.
- 21:36Stop just bitching like a baby. Marry a woman, buy a house, have
- 21:41some kids. Take responsibility and be part
- 21:44of the solution, not the problem.
- 21:46And get off of the freaking Internet with a bunch of other
- 21:49yahoos who are just bitter, spending their day bitching
- 21:53about what they should get rather than getting off the
- 21:56Internet and doing what they should do.
- 21:59Love it. Well, here in real faith, we are
- 22:02a Thor hammer. We're not big, but we make a big
- 22:06difference. We'd love to have you partner
- 22:08with us. You can actually text partner to
- 22:1199383. Again, that's text partner to
- 22:1599383 and you can help our little team make a big
- 22:20difference. All right, our next segment is
- 22:24it's a very similar topic. There was a tragedy this weekend
- 22:28Hanukkah attack in Australia. It was AI believe a father son
- 22:33duo that was shooting up for more than 20 minutes without a
- 22:37confrontation, just a church gathering.
- 22:40So let's let's go ahead and roll that clip.
- 22:54Oh. Very, very cool.
- 23:14So that guy jumped in, confronted him, stopped, stopped
- 23:19this incident, took the gun, probably should have pulled the
- 23:22trigger a couple times, but he was a little more restrained
- 23:25than that. He was a Muslim man.
- 23:28This is wild. So the, the backdrop is, and I
- 23:32think the latest indicators are that 16 people were killed, that
- 23:37count to go higher. There's people that are injured.
- 23:40So the backdrop, it's the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah and
- 23:44they're a Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia.
- 23:47I've been there. Bondi is a historic beach,
- 23:51probably the most historic beach in all of Australia.
- 23:54In Sydney years ago when I had the honor of touring and
- 23:58preaching in Australia, Grace and I actually had one of our
- 24:02wedding anniversary dinners on Bondi Beach.
- 24:05And so our kids have been there as well.
- 24:08It's a beautiful area and so the Jewish people are there to
- 24:12celebrate Hanukkah peacefully. Rolls in to the best of the news
- 24:17is reporting a father son radicalized jihadist Muslim
- 24:24father son. The New York Post reported that
- 24:30they were radicalized and had at least the son had had graduated
- 24:35from a pretty extremist training program at a mosque.
- 24:40And so now you're looking at jihadi Muslims.
- 24:43And so they show up and just start opening fire on on Jewish
- 24:47people. This raises just innumerable
- 24:50issues. Number one, we are seeing a
- 24:53growing tide of anti-Semitism and a friend of mine, I don't
- 24:58know if he's a, he's a political commentator.
- 25:01I don't know if he posted online yet, so I won't say his name,
- 25:03but not to blame him, but just as an observation.
- 25:06So like Tucker Carlson this year on X has posted 0 criticisms of
- 25:13Muslims and repeated criticisms of Jews.
- 25:18That's like, well, so is, is the existential threat in the West
- 25:22coming from Jews or jihadis? Not just Muslims, but jihadis,
- 25:27those that are committed to violence and overtaking Western
- 25:32values. In addition, you're seeing on
- 25:36the fringe right an openness, especially among some, some
- 25:41younger far right people, just an open hatred of the Jewish
- 25:46people. Well, this is this is what
- 25:48happens when you when you overtly call a group of people
- 25:53evil, subhuman, then it becomes morally justifiable to destroy
- 25:59them. If someone is wrong, you
- 26:02disagree with them. If someone is evil, you have to
- 26:04stop them. And so you know this, this is
- 26:08part of the growing anti-Semitism and the and the
- 26:12problem, the other issues you see here, you see the despicable
- 26:16evil when a father wrongly leads his son toward murder.
- 26:24A father can lead their son almost anywhere.
- 26:26That's, I mean, you're a dad, I'm a dad.
- 26:28The thought of this being father son is unconscionable.
- 26:34The amount of hatred and bitterness in that household to
- 26:36get him there is. Wild.
- 26:39This is a father son deal. So this is unconscionable.
- 26:44But then this also exposes within Australia the real
- 26:49weakness of the government. So Australia is so woke, so
- 26:53progressive, so far gone culturally, it's almost hard to
- 26:58imagine. They don't have the freedom of
- 27:00speech, freedom of religion. They don't have the right to
- 27:03bear arms. That it's, it's not like
- 27:05America. It's, it's very, very different.
- 27:08And, and So what you've got there as well, you've got the
- 27:12wokeness and the, and the, the DEI initiatives are so great.
- 27:16Like I don't know if we have it, but what's shocking is that
- 27:20they've taken away people's firearms.
- 27:23So these two guys are there, they're shooting for 20 minutes,
- 27:2920 minutes, and nobody returned fire.
- 27:34And the police are there. The police are there.
- 27:36You you can hear for 20 minutes. You can hear the sirens.
- 27:40The cops are surrounding them. No one is returning fire.
- 27:45No one is engaging or approaching.
- 27:47You've got. He doesn't have hostages or
- 27:49anything, he's just standing there with a gun.
- 27:51He's an open target. In America, we'd love that.
- 27:54I mean, we would take him down very quickly.
- 27:55Somebody would return fire, a veteran would approach.
- 28:00I mean, and, and what you've got, you've got surrounding
- 28:03this. I don't know if we have the
- 28:03clip, you have multiple female officers wearing bulletproof
- 28:08vests that are literally standing in the open in the
- 28:12surrendered position, not returning fire.
- 28:15This is what happens. See cause DEI diversity, equity,
- 28:20inclusion is in the name of tolerance and diversity.
- 28:24Everybody should get the job and it's there are certain jobs that
- 28:29only the people that can do the job.
- 28:31Like what if you're going to be a police officer?
- 28:33I don't want the £105 girl that when given flight, fright or
- 28:39freeze chooses flight or freeze. I want the 250 LB door kicker
- 28:45whose grandpa was a gorilla that only does fight, you know, when
- 28:50it comes to somebody that's going to be an air traffic
- 28:52controller. I don't think we should give the
- 28:54blind guys a chance just so that we're doing diversity and it's
- 28:58their turn. You know, I mean it, it's just
- 29:01it's insanity. But this is what happens.
- 29:04And, and when you start to vilify police officers, when you
- 29:08start to negate rule of law, when you start to defund,
- 29:12devalue, disrespect, dishonor, disregard the police when you
- 29:16really need them, what you get is, you know, civil patrol
- 29:21officers show up. I mean, this is exactly what
- 29:24we're going for right now in New York.
- 29:26Just voted for a democratic socialist mayor.
- 29:29If you want to know what it looks like, it looks like
- 29:31freaking Sydney, Australia. This is what we just voted for
- 29:34in Know the People's Republic of Seattle, our former hometown.
- 29:38They just voted for a democratic socialist mayor that literally
- 29:43is going to run the playbook for Sydney, Australia.
- 29:46This is exactly what we're voting for in America.
- 29:49And and what happens is evil never stops itself.
- 29:54And so unless there are strong good door kicker alpha men who
- 29:59get between evil and women and children, then evil completely
- 30:04takes over. And this is exactly what it
- 30:06looks like. So to his credit, the guy who
- 30:08got involved, apparently he's also a Muslim.
- 30:11So the problem is not that you're a Muslim.
- 30:14The the problem is you're a jihadi.
- 30:16So if you're going to come into a country, are you going to be a
- 30:18citizen? Are you going to carry forth the
- 30:20values? Are you going to respect the
- 30:22law? Are you an invader or you coming
- 30:25in to, you know, assimilate into the culture?
- 30:28So the man who took away the gun, he he's apparently a
- 30:31Muslim, did a great thing honor him as a as a as a good man.
- 30:36He did apparently take the gun and then leave it at the tree.
- 30:41I wish you would have kept the gun and continued his job.
- 30:45But you know, isn't it wild the two men are firing for 20
- 30:49minutes and the only person who engages them is a civilian?
- 30:55It's wild. I just looked up.
- 30:57So Sydney, their police force, they've been doing a big DEI
- 31:00push and approximately 32% of their officers are a woman, are
- 31:06women. And in America we're at 10% in
- 31:09full time roles, women cops. But our goal is by 20-30 to have
- 31:15that be at 30%. So we are aiming to be Australia
- 31:19in America. It's what the major cities are
- 31:22going for. So women, Women shouldn't fill
- 31:26any job that a man could fill. So the jobs, whether it be in
- 31:31combat, whether it be in firefighting, whether it be
- 31:35another first responding, whether it be in police force,
- 31:39the standard should be set and you should have to meet those
- 31:43standards. And if those standards are
- 31:47lowered to accommodate people, what we are now getting is
- 31:52people who cannot do the job, meaning we are putting in harm's
- 31:56way not only the people doing the job, but the people that
- 31:59they are supposed to protect and preserve.
- 32:02That is not loving or caring, that is irresponsible and that
- 32:07is negligence. I mean, you know, if you're in
- 32:10combat and you can't run a certain number of miles and
- 32:13carry a certain weighted pack and engage in hand to hand
- 32:17combat. But this is so.
- 32:19The most asinine thing I may have ever heard is diversity is
- 32:22our strength. It's a weakness for.
- 32:26Sure, it's a weakness for sure. Like, Oh well, there's a three
- 32:28foot guy who weighs 80 lbs. That doesn't make us stronger in
- 32:33a cage fight. You know there's a guy who can't
- 32:36see. That doesn't make us stronger in
- 32:39a gunfight. There's a gal who you know, will
- 32:42have a nervous breakdown if we get her pronouns wrong.
- 32:45That doesn't make us stronger in a cultural fight.
- 32:49It it's, it's, it's lunacy. Yeah, for I think it was
- 32:53interesting. I'm forgetting who, who who
- 32:57talked about it, but talking about DEI and stuff, there's no,
- 33:01there's zero women that want to go be a coal miner or a
- 33:05bricklayer. Those are very hard jobs and
- 33:09they're 99% male. But we want DEI and all these
- 33:13very public roles. And it was interesting.
- 33:16Netflix just came out with some coal mining show where there's
- 33:19the woman coal miner's the hero. And it's like that.
- 33:21That's never going to happen. That's just, that's just not it.
- 33:24Women are great at a lot of things, things men could never
- 33:27do that. I mean, they are singularly
- 33:29gifted at something men will never be.
- 33:32Capable zero of us were born to a man.
- 33:34They have a unique superpower. They do have a superpower and
- 33:37they should enjoy it. And I mean live into that
- 33:41gifting and calling because it's incredible to be able to
- 33:44produce. Life is insane to a man.
- 33:46We we can just work hard that that's all we can do.
- 33:49But this is where I mean, to me, it's like you go from the
- 33:54theoretical to the to the practical and the theoretical is
- 33:58we would like to have a very diverse police force.
- 34:01The practical is to a father son, jihadi team are shooting
- 34:06for 20 minutes and somebody needs to stop them.
- 34:11OK, well, nobody did. You know, I mean for 20 minutes.
- 34:16I don't know about you. Like if if this was a church
- 34:20service with the baptismal and I'm stuck on an open beach.
- 34:25I'm not thinking. Diversity is our strength.
- 34:29I thinking everyone should own a gun, good men should own guns
- 34:32and good men should get involved.
- 34:33Yeah, and I, and I would say too, just for pastors and faith
- 34:36leaders, we've really got to start to rethink public events.
- 34:40Like, I've done public baptisms at public parks and beaches, and
- 34:44I've done outdoor rallies and evangelistic events and crusades
- 34:48and such. And I think it's really time to
- 34:50rethink all of that. I mean, it's very, very sad.
- 34:53But we saw Charlie Kirk shot in a public place.
- 34:57We now see the Jewish celebration of Hanukkah turn
- 35:00into a mass murder. It's sad when your faith can't
- 35:04be public, but when it jeopardizes the safety of the
- 35:09people who are participating. You really got to start to think
- 35:13about being indoors, security checkpoints.
- 35:16I think it was even Ben Shapiro after Charlie was shot, said,
- 35:19you know, I think I'm going to do anymore indoor outdoor events
- 35:22rather we're going to bring it inside with security
- 35:24checkpoints. And so, yeah, I would just
- 35:26encourage faith leaders start thinking about security and
- 35:30outdoor events, though we should have the freedom to do them.
- 35:34You know, is the is the reward worth the risk?
- 35:36Yep, 100%. And yeah, John Lovell call that.
- 35:41He's a good friend of yours. It's a soft target.
- 35:43And he did not let our flock be a soft target because we're
- 35:46called to be pastors and shepherds, shepherds protecting
- 35:49our flock. And if people want to make an
- 35:51example of our flock, we can't do that.
- 35:53We need to protect our flock because it feels like these
- 35:56things are going to happen more and more and the end zone of
- 36:00Islam is to terrify, destroy and take over.
- 36:04Islam, jihadi Islam is, is not a religion of proposition, it's a
- 36:09religion of imposition. It's converter die and and those
- 36:14who don't understand that. And so again, you can be a
- 36:16Muslim and come into the country, but you can't be a
- 36:19jihadist and come into the country.
- 36:20And so here you saw, you saw a jihadi and a Muslim, a Muslim
- 36:25who is willing to be a citizen and a jihadi who is ill intended
- 36:30to destroy, you know, the very fabric of the nation of which
- 36:33there are part. And so you've got to even in
- 36:36your immigration, you've got to distinguish those two. 100% And
- 36:39Speaking of Convert or Die in Seattle, there's been a big news
- 36:44story of these gender kit lessons developed for
- 36:49kindergartens. And the big picture book was
- 36:54titled Introducing Teddy. And Teddy is a teddy bear named
- 36:58Thomas who decides he wants to be Tilly, a girl teddy bear.
- 37:01And so they're teaching this to children in Seattle.
- 37:05And the big lessons are acceptance, compassion, gender,
- 37:09gender role, and that we're all unique.
- 37:12And this is being taught to our not to our children, 'cause we
- 37:15left Seattle, but it's being taught in the United States of
- 37:20America in public schools funded by our government.
- 37:24Is there any hope for government schools?
- 37:26Like what? What is your take on all this?
- 37:27Yeah. So I mean, you know, I, I grew
- 37:30up in Seattle. We left Seattle over a decade
- 37:32ago. For those who live maybe in
- 37:36still conservative pockets, it is hard to fathom or conceive
- 37:40how far gone certain places are. And so this is just one of many
- 37:46case studies or examples. So this is AK through 5
- 37:51curriculum, four children. So you're looking at 5 or 6 year
- 37:56olds. They don't know the world at
- 37:59all. They well and they certainly
- 38:01aren't thinking about genitalia and sexuality unless they're
- 38:05being groomed. 100%. The only way a child at age 5 or
- 38:106 is thinking about genitalia or sexuality is if they're being
- 38:13groomed by pedophiles for abuse. They otherwise they shouldn't be
- 38:18thinking about those things. And so this is a curriculum
- 38:22that, yeah, is teaching them to to undergo gender transition.
- 38:30And so, yeah, if you are a parent that is a Christian or
- 38:34sane in these areas, you cannot send your children to a
- 38:40government school. It's not a public school.
- 38:42It's a government school. And a government school is
- 38:46trying to brainwash your child to be dependent upon the
- 38:51government. And, and if the child is
- 38:55dependent upon the government, they're going to grow up to
- 38:59despise your God. And, you know, we're seeing this
- 39:04right now in places like Seattle, where they voted for a
- 39:07democratic socialist mayor, and New York, where the goal is to
- 39:11have your child in a daycare run by the government, then go to a
- 39:16school run by the government. Sexualized, traumatized,
- 39:19brainwashed by the government, then go to a college run by the
- 39:24government. Then live in housing run by the
- 39:26government. Shop at a grocery store owned by
- 39:29the government. Have health care run by the
- 39:32government. Travel on transportation run by
- 39:36the government. That's North Korea.
- 39:41There is no freedom because you are, from womb to tomb, entirely
- 39:47dependent upon the government. And so if you are a parent, you
- 39:52cannot allow your child to be taken hostage and captive by the
- 39:58government, and the goal of the government is to seize your
- 40:02child as early as possible. To cause them to be a dependent
- 40:08of the state for the rest of their life.
- 40:11And there is no freedom in that whatsoever.
- 40:15And so you know, this is your responsibility as a parent, but
- 40:19particularly as a father. It is a sin against Jesus Christ
- 40:24if you claim to be a believer and allow your child to be in
- 40:29any sort of educational system that has anything like this in
- 40:34the curriculum. This is there are various ways
- 40:37to educate your child. Perhaps in certain places that
- 40:41are still conservative there are options for your child in a
- 40:45government school that are run by Christians or conservatives
- 40:48that it wouldn't be a sin. But in many if not most places
- 40:52today, this is not an open handed issue.
- 40:55This is moved to a closed handed issue to where pastors need to
- 40:58start to rebuke the parents and their flock and they need to
- 41:02start to draw hard bright lines that this is a sin against God
- 41:07because God is over government and God has given children to
- 41:11parents, not to governments. And that ultimately the parents
- 41:15are responsible for the children.
- 41:17And when the children are given to the government, then the,
- 41:21the, the government is not responsible.
- 41:23God holds the parents responsible.
- 41:26And so you know, the, and if you're a parent and you don't
- 41:30have good educational options, you may need to consider
- 41:33homeschooling and, or you may need to just move.
- 41:36Yeah, you need to move to a state that has school choice.
- 41:40And, and I, I was, I was in DC this week and somebody from the
- 41:44Department of Education came in for some 2 day event we had with
- 41:48pastors and I, I didn't. So they talked about the fact
- 41:50that they're in the process of trying to dismantle the
- 41:53Department of Education and send all of the dollars back to the
- 41:57states where it should be. And that the Trump
- 42:01administration is going to be sending the funding back to the
- 42:04states, but the funding is only available for those states that
- 42:08have school choice. So if you move to or live in a
- 42:12state that has school choice, there's going to be financial
- 42:15opportunity for you to have options to choose how to educate
- 42:20your child. But if you're in a state that
- 42:22does not have school choice, there is no federal funding that
- 42:25is available to you. That's.
- 42:27Very interesting. So if you live in Texas or you
- 42:30live in Arizona, not only is it good, it's getting better.
- 42:35So like this will blow your mind.
- 42:37For my friends that are in Seattle and other places like in
- 42:40Arizona right now, it's 7 plus $1000 a year per child.
- 42:44That's just given to you. That's given to you.
- 42:46You can use it for a homeschool or a homeschool Co-op.
- 42:48You can use it for a charter school.
- 42:50You can use it for a private school.
- 42:52You can use it for a Christian School.
- 42:56In addition, you can take the first couple $1000 of your taxes
- 43:00and you can redirect it for someone else's child to use it
- 43:04for their school. So let's say you got 2 sets of
- 43:07grandparents through school choice.
- 43:10They could redirect their first few $1000 of taxes.
- 43:14Let's say let's say you're putting cowboy in a Christian
- 43:18School. You can get 7 + 1000 dollars and
- 43:20then we as well as other relatives could send the 1st
- 43:242000 dollars of our taxes into the school.
- 43:27You could pay for a really nice Christian School or a classic
- 43:32education or STEM education for your son and it's no money out
- 43:36of pocket for you. And now the Trump administration
- 43:39is looking at adding federal dollars to that.
- 43:42It's awesome. And as a parent, you get to
- 43:44decide how your child is educated.
- 43:47Or you're in a state like Washington where they're going
- 43:51to brainwash your child. They're going to spend a lot of
- 43:54money on bureaucracy. The overwhelming odds are that
- 43:59the teacher is someone who hates your God and has no child and is
- 44:07going to brainwash your child to hate your God and is going to
- 44:11get paid a very large salary to do so.
- 44:15We, I mean adults are like whoever you spend the most time
- 44:18with is who you become. Oh, let me they'll say that and
- 44:21send their kid off to hang out with some middle-aged woman
- 44:23that's a lesbian and not married.
- 44:25And it's like, oh, you want your child to spend 8 hours a day
- 44:28with her and come see you for an hour or two and do homework the
- 44:31whole time they go to bed every day for the next 12 years.
- 44:34That's a terrible decision. And I pulled the stats.
- 44:37Places like Washington, DC, it's 18% of people are LGBTQ and a
- 44:43place like Arizona is less than half of that so.
- 44:46And Wyoming is probably next to 0. 4.
- 44:49Percent. So this is not a biological
- 44:51reality. This is a mental health issue
- 44:54that that becomes either accepted or rejected culturally.
- 44:58Natural selection would deal with the biological reality very
- 45:00quick on these things. That's why they need to
- 45:02radicalize their kids, because it doesn't.
- 45:04Make any children so they need to steal yours a. 100%.
- 45:08Well, in children too, they tend to children believe what adults
- 45:11tell them, especially adults in positions of authority.
- 45:14And so as a child, you're like, well, the adults is the teacher,
- 45:17they said, so it must be true until you grow up and you're
- 45:20like, yeah, the purple haired transgender lesbian cat lady
- 45:24teacher is not right on things. Yep. 100 percent, 100%.
- 47:01Thank you to our partners at Gold Co and thank you for
- 47:05following up. Speaking of your D cert, Ctrip
- 47:09would love to hear how was that, how did it go and you were in DC
- 47:13all week? Yeah, I made some notes.
- 47:16My wife Grace and I went to DC this week.
- 47:18We've been getting invited for years.
- 47:20We've never went to DC. So we went for the week.
- 47:24We were invited by the National Faith Advisory Board, and we
- 47:29spent two days. The first day was at the Museum
- 47:31of the Bible. The second day was at the
- 47:33Eisenhower Building next to the White House.
- 47:36And so we we were there at the request of Paula White and Jenny
- 47:42Corn who lead the National Faith Advisory Board.
- 47:47So let me just take the hose and put it on the bees nest.
- 47:50Let me just and so there are many online who are Christians
- 47:55that just have all kinds of terrible things to say.
- 47:58I really like both of those women and I enjoyed my time with
- 48:03them. I find them to be very
- 48:06hardworking. They love Jesus, they are
- 48:10volunteering and unpaid and putting in an incredible number
- 48:14of hours and trying to do good things and I appreciate them and
- 48:17I respect them. Some will criticize and say
- 48:20especially Pastor Paula White shouldn't be a pastor.
- 48:24There's a whole back story to that.
- 48:25It's an open handed issue. Everybody knows where I'm at on
- 48:28this issue and I'm conservative on this issue and have not
- 48:31changed my position whatsoever. But I love her and I like her
- 48:34and she's my sister in Christ. And I'm not going to fight over
- 48:37this issue. But but what I do also know is
- 48:41there'll be some people will be like, well, she shouldn't have
- 48:43this position. Well, here's how you get this
- 48:45position. President Donald J Trump chooses
- 48:48you, so that's how you get it. Yeah, for a reform guys, they
- 48:54should get that. Yeah, so like and well, if you
- 48:56reform, God apparently predestined her before the
- 49:00foundations of the world to be the National Faith Advisory
- 49:03Board leader, If you believe in the sovereignty of God, you got
- 49:07to just say, well, God and your sovereign Providence.
- 49:10And if you're a meticulous Providence hard reform guy, you,
- 49:14you can't even complain. You got to just be like, Lord,
- 49:17it is your sovereign wealth. So there you go.
- 49:18You just, you just got to eat what you cook.
- 49:21That's what you got to do here. And so and so the National Faith
- 49:25Advisory Board, it doesn't exist in every administration.
- 49:28The Trump administration has chosen to put faith at the
- 49:32center of the White House. So some administrations will put
- 49:37faith, you know, in some secondary, tertiary position,
- 49:40often some government building in the White House is faith
- 49:46representing issues for people of faith at the center of the
- 49:49administration, which is really good.
- 49:53And this may shock people. Donald Trump does not come from
- 49:58the center of evangelicalism. What?
- 50:01Yeah, I know. It's shocking.
- 50:02It's shocking. He, he did not grow up on Veggie
- 50:04Tales. He he didn't kiss dating
- 50:08goodbye. He wasn't afraid of being left
- 50:10behind. He's he's not sure what Jesus
- 50:14would do. He he doesn't, you know, fix his
- 50:18breath with testaments. He didn't grow up in the center
- 50:21of evangelicalism. Why is it so important to him?
- 50:24Well, so so he doesn't. He doesn't know a lot of
- 50:26pastors. So a couple decades ago, Paula
- 50:30White just felt like, I'm going to start praying for she didn't
- 50:33know him. She started praying that she
- 50:35would get to know Donald Trump, and she wanted to share Jesus
- 50:38with him. And she got to meet him, and
- 50:41they struck up a friendship, and he trusts her.
- 50:44So she's been praying for him and sharing Jesus with him for
- 50:47decades. She didn't know he'd become
- 50:50president. She didn't know all of this.
- 50:53And he trusts her because she's been trustworthy.
- 50:58And so he says, hey, I trust you.
- 51:02Come to the White House. I believe that faith is
- 51:05important, and I want to protect religious liberty and faith.
- 51:09And I trust you because I've known you for a long time and
- 51:12you've operated with integrity. Praise God.
- 51:16Praise God. Thank you.
- 51:19And So what we have now is not only a faith office at the White
- 51:24House, but in the other major parts of the administration,
- 51:28there's a representative for faith and they're representing
- 51:32people of faith. And so we had two days of like
- 51:35Ted talks, small invite only number of faith leaders, pastors
- 51:44were there and people came in and, and, and shared what
- 51:47they're doing in the administration.
- 51:50I'll give you an example. Like RFK came in and talked and
- 51:55shared some interesting things like the SNAP benefits 10% goes
- 52:01to candy bars and 8% goes to sugary soda drinks for. 20%.
- 52:07And you're like, and that creates diabetes and poor
- 52:10health, which then pushes our need for, you know, medical help
- 52:16that later on creates diabetes and medication.
- 52:19And so he's making the argument that if we really care about
- 52:22people, we've got a fixed diet, especially in poor communities.
- 52:26You're like, that's interesting. We heard from people from all
- 52:30the departments. The gal from the Department of
- 52:33Education was really interesting.
- 52:35She podcast, by the way, that's cool.
- 52:38And she's trying to dismantle the Department of Education.
- 52:41And her whole premise was putting education back into the
- 52:46hands of parents based upon her reading of the New Testament and
- 52:50biblical convictions. I love it.
- 52:52I was like, OK, sister, that's good.
- 52:55I'll give you some other ones as well.
- 52:56There was there was one of the senior leaders under Pam Bondi
- 53:00in the Department of Justice. He's actually, he's actually a
- 53:05pastor saved in the Jesus movement and covers pulpits for
- 53:10churches around America. So cool.
- 53:12He's a preacher. I was like, that's pretty great.
- 53:16And the, yeah, the other one, too.
- 53:19Secretary Christine Gnome came in.
- 53:21She's getting lit on fire all the time.
- 53:23Shared her testimony and why she's doing the job.
- 53:26One of my favorites was Secretary Scott Turner from the
- 53:31Hud's Housing and Urban Development.
- 53:33He's a pastor. He served under Pastor Jack
- 53:36Graham at Prestonwood Baptist Church.
- 53:38He was the president of the Southern Baptist Convention.
- 53:41Jack Graham's a great guy, good man of God.
- 53:43And I'll tell you, man, like I would absolutely be honored to
- 53:47have Scott Turner come preach at my church.
- 53:49The guy was amazing. We had Border Patrol agents that
- 53:53love Jesus and came in and did some amazing work.
- 53:57I mean, it was just really interesting.
- 53:58And, and some of the things that the faith division is working on
- 54:01and, and this is where maybe Christians don't understand
- 54:03primarily what they're doing is policy.
- 54:06And policy is messy, complicated, arduous.
- 54:15And so they're, they're trying to figure out based upon
- 54:18previous administrations, how have they really weaponized the
- 54:22government against people of faith?
- 54:25Like there was a presentation that that showed it's been
- 54:30significantly easier for a gay couple to adopt A child than a
- 54:34Christian couple. Trying to put more of them in
- 54:37the future. It's.
- 54:38Crazy if you were going to adopt A child, you had to agree to
- 54:43raise the child LGBTQIA friendly and if you're a Christian,
- 54:49you're like, I can't do that. So so they discriminated against
- 54:52Christians adopting children and they're they're they're changing
- 54:55that with policy. One of the ones Lennon there
- 54:58that just blew my mind. They released us to go meet with
- 55:03representatives. They're they're pushing a bill
- 55:05right now. I did not know this.
- 55:07These are some of the just, there's a million of these, but
- 55:11one of them is to pass Med school and to get your license
- 55:16as a doctor, you need to be present and or participate in a
- 55:20certain number of abortions. Gosh.
- 55:22Which goes against their whole thing of do no harm.
- 55:24The Hippocratic Oath and there is no, there is no objection or
- 55:31exception for conscience. It's.
- 55:33Wild. So let's say you're a Christian.
- 55:36Let's say you're a Christian woman who says I'm pro-life, I
- 55:40love kids, I want to be a pediatrician and I want to help
- 55:43kids. To do that I need to go be
- 55:48involved in a certain number of abortions.
- 55:51So, so they're discriminating against Christians being in
- 55:54healthcare. I mean, because like during
- 55:57COVID, a lot of them dropped out over the vaccine and a lot of
- 55:59them will drop out over this. So all of the doctors are
- 56:03government? Yeah, That's that's.
- 56:06So, so now, so now the faith division is saying we need to
- 56:08overturn that and we need to say that there is an exception for
- 56:13people of faith who can't, because of conscience, be
- 56:17involved in abortions to get their medical license because
- 56:20it's murder, because it's murder.
- 56:23And so there's a million of these that they're involved in
- 56:26and, and they were sharing all of the things that they're
- 56:30working on and it was really encouraging.
- 56:33Should. Christians, be encouraged that
- 56:36Trump, Paula White, these people are surrounding themselves with
- 56:40good godly pastors, men and women.
- 56:43Yeah, they're trying very hard. And, and I think if you're going
- 56:45to pray for something, a lot of what's happened so far is by
- 56:49executive order, but it needs to get cemented into law.
- 56:52And it feels like we've got about nine months because if the
- 56:56midterms don't go well, I, it seems to me like we're going to
- 57:00have two years of impeachment and law fair and, and nothing is
- 57:06going to get done. And so executive orders can be
- 57:09overturned day one if the next guy's a bad guy.
- 57:14And so you want to move from executive orders, which are
- 57:16temporary to laws, which are more in cement.
- 57:21And So what they're doing right now, they're, they're working to
- 57:23move executive orders into law and the real.
- 57:27And so there there's been over 200 executive orders and over
- 57:31150 of them have been moved into law.
- 57:34And so they're intentionally moving this direction.
- 57:37And so the Christians who you would naively be like, I wish
- 57:40somebody else was in, there's like, no, you don't understand
- 57:43all of the important work that is getting done and the real
- 57:46close timeline of opportunity in which it needs to happen.
- 57:51And the number of faithful believers that are working so
- 57:55hard to do this and to argue over secondary issues and to
- 58:00miss sight of the necessity of the hour.
- 58:03What you're really looking at. I mean, they were talking about
- 58:05too, like I think there was, they were talking about like 20
- 58:09Catholic pro lifers were arrested for silently praying
- 58:14outside an abortion clinic. Silently praying.
- 58:18Gosh. You're getting arrested for your
- 58:20thoughts in America. I mean, not, I mean, we have
- 58:26freedom of speech and we have freedom of religion.
- 58:28We sure as like have freedom of thought.
- 58:30Gosh. I mean, you know, they, they,
- 58:34they showed that, you know, there that the government was
- 58:37listening to sermons of pro-life pastors and, and was actively,
- 58:44you know, weaponizing the government against those who
- 58:48were faith leaders with pro-life views.
- 58:51Yeah, and and so you're at at this point.
- 58:54And so people like, well, we need to separate.
- 58:56Christians shouldn't be involved in government.
- 58:58And they kept saying, they said politics matter because policy
- 59:02matters and policy matters because people matter.
- 59:06That was the the the phrase throughout the week that made a
- 59:09lot of sense to me. Politics matter because policy
- 59:12matters and policy matters because people matter.
- 59:15People live within policy. And if the policy is bad, it
- 59:19hurts people. So we need policy to be good so
- 59:22that we can help people. And so I, I overall was very
- 59:27blessed, very encouraged. I was very honored to be there.
- 59:31And the, the, the point of the time together, they said no
- 59:36video recording. So I didn't take any photos.
- 59:38I didn't take any videos. I honored all of that.
- 59:41There was time of worship that they said you could record.
- 59:44So some of that is online, but the the the point that was most
- 59:51emotional for me, I'll share in our remaining time together.
- 59:57So Sebastian Gorka is pretty well known, you know, radio
- 1:00:03person, great voice from hunger. I didn't really know his back
- 1:00:07story. He's only shared his testimony.
- 1:00:09I was told twice. This was only the second time.
- 1:00:12So he came in and like I said, it was like a series of Ted
- 1:00:15talks over 2 days. And it was in the Eisenhower
- 1:00:18building. He came in and he came up and he
- 1:00:20said, I never prepare my talk. I'm not sure what to talk about.
- 1:00:24He's like, OK, I'm going to tell you my story.
- 1:00:28And it was just impromptu. So he asked, you know, what is
- 1:00:32your most important prized possession?
- 1:00:35And he talked about handguns, including one that was like the
- 1:00:39Miami Vice gun and is 19. You'd love.
- 1:00:41This is 1966 Mustang. And like the things that were
- 1:00:45his prized possession and how he sold all of them to take the job
- 1:00:50because it was a 90% pay cut. And he has overseen the arrest
- 1:00:57of over 400 terrorists, primarily jihadists, bad actors
- 1:01:01who got into the country and were plotting to kill Americans
- 1:01:06so far this year. And he gave us the why.
- 1:01:11And the why was that his dad was in Hungary and it got
- 1:01:15infiltrated with communist Marxist that were promising
- 1:01:20freedom and life for the citizens.
- 1:01:23And his dad was a young man in college and saw that it was all
- 1:01:27deception and his dad was a Christian.
- 1:01:30And so his dad is a college student, formed an underground
- 1:01:36Christian group of men who started doing Intel collection
- 1:01:41against the Communists and sending it to MI 6 intelligence
- 1:01:46in Great Britain, saying here's what's really going on in the
- 1:01:50country, here's what's really going on on the campus.
- 1:01:53It's it's a Marxist takeover, it's communism, it's it's
- 1:01:58deception. His dad was sending that
- 1:02:01information to a legendary double agent in MI Six who was
- 1:02:06working for the communists, for the Marxist.
- 1:02:12Nothing was ever done but that information was given to the
- 1:02:15Marxist and communists, who then arrested his dad, abused and
- 1:02:21beat him, put him in two years of solitary confinement.
- 1:02:24He was, I think he was 20. His dad was 20 years old.
- 1:02:26My. Gosh.
- 1:02:28Christian Now he's being persecuted for his faith.
- 1:02:32He's put underground and he is forced into hard labor, I think
- 1:02:38producing coal with hand tools, tons a day for years in solitary
- 1:02:45confinement. His dad never broke.
- 1:02:48His dad never denied Christ. His dad ended up being
- 1:02:53eventually in confinement with a bunch of hard, hard line, old
- 1:02:58school, real deal Jesuit priests, and they worshipped and
- 1:03:05they prayed together. His dad was only given one
- 1:03:08toothbrush and he scraped it into a cross and he would kneel
- 1:03:15before it and he would pray to Jesus Christ when he was in
- 1:03:17confinement. And that's the one thing that
- 1:03:20Sebastian has in his safe is his most prized possession is his
- 1:03:25dad's cross that he prayed to out of his toothbrush in
- 1:03:29solitary confinement, fighting the communists.
- 1:03:32And that's why he took the job. That's incredible.
- 1:03:35I mean, I was in tears. I I couldn't believe it.
- 1:03:38And I'm like, these are the people that are doing the jobs
- 1:03:43and This is why they're doing that.
- 1:03:47And, and I was, I was shocked at some of the people and the depth
- 1:03:56of their faith and the sacrifices they are making and
- 1:04:00the why behind them. It's incredible.
- 1:04:03Yeah. And so the National Faith
- 1:04:04Advisory Board I have the utmost respect for, was tremendously
- 1:04:09encouraged by, honored to be invited to and.
- 1:04:14Yeah. And and have only good things to
- 1:04:16say about and I'm exceedingly grateful for.
- 1:04:20So cool, so cool. So Christians can be, I'd
- 1:04:22encourage you guys be praying for these pastors, these people,
- 1:04:26these men and women that are making huge sacrifices, as you
- 1:04:29just shared, to try to affect America's policy because people
- 1:04:33matter and that is incredible. Thank you for ask Mark, for
- 1:04:35going there, for praying for those men, for praying for
- 1:04:37Trump. And thank you guys for tuning in
- 1:04:40as we head into year end. Would encourage you guys if you
- 1:04:43enjoy this ministry, if this ministry has helped you jump on
- 1:04:47realfaith.com/partner, give a gift.
- 1:04:50We are a nonprofit. We have a staff, we have a
- 1:04:53property we're trying to build out so we can get more Bible
- 1:04:55teaching, more commentary out there to help Christians live in
- 1:05:00this day and age because it is getting darker out there and we
- 1:05:03need truth more Never. So thank you guys for tuning in,
- 1:05:06and we'll see you next week for a special Christmas episode.
