- 0:00Speaker 1: They'll mark some own show live from the w o
- 0:03Speaker 1: R Life back studios.
- 0:07Speaker 2: Hey, another feudabul day to day. It's Thursday. We got
- 0:10Speaker 2: a lot to get to Big Knick's victory last night.
- 0:12Speaker 2: We'll get to President Trump. Iran. We'll get to Rubio
- 0:18Speaker 2: with fiery yesterday, Marco Rubio great in the hearings yesterday.
- 0:22Speaker 2: We'll get to crazy Scott Pelley, the most sanct demonious,
- 0:28Speaker 2: pompous asked in the history of broadcasting. We'll tell you
- 0:31Speaker 2: what he was up to yesterday. We'll get to the Nicks,
- 0:34Speaker 2: of course, and a whole lot more. Iran. It's it's
- 0:39Speaker 2: a ceasefire that's not really a ceasefire. Things are going on.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Hesbla firing rockets again this morning. Israel. You know, had
- 0:49Speaker 2: Prime Minister net Yahoo that screaming phone call with President Trump.
- 0:54Speaker 2: What the heff do you do with it? But they
- 0:56Speaker 2: got to respond. They'll have to respond, so expect that
- 0:58Speaker 2: a little later today. This time. They'll probably coordinate better
- 1:02Speaker 2: with the White House. Iran. It looks like we don't
- 1:06Speaker 2: know what we're doing. It looks like you watch the
- 1:10Speaker 2: crazy MSNBC shows, those type of things. But even if
- 1:14Speaker 2: you listen to some Republicans say, I can't believe he
- 1:16Speaker 2: went in without a plan. I can't believe he doesn't it. Well,
- 1:20Speaker 2: it's a lot more of a plan than you think.
- 1:23Speaker 2: A lot of this is deliberate, deliberately looking like he
- 1:25Speaker 2: has no plan, deliberately looking like they don't know what
- 1:28Speaker 2: to do next. They kind of like this current situation
- 1:32Speaker 2: straight over Moose closed. It's draining Iran completely financially. Inflation
- 1:38Speaker 2: in Iran is now at eighty percent, and it's getting
- 1:41Speaker 2: to the point where we're looking for people that rise
- 1:43Speaker 2: up and just take over the government. But it hasn't
- 1:46Speaker 2: happened so far. But right now people are totally out
- 1:49Speaker 2: of money, totally starving. This could change pretty soon. Now.
- 1:55Speaker 2: You gotta do something at some point because the entire
- 1:59Speaker 2: world oil supply is running dry. We've used up about
- 2:03Speaker 2: all the reserves around the world. We have plenty of
- 2:05Speaker 2: oil in this country. We are the biggest oil producer
- 2:08Speaker 2: in the world. We produce a lot more oil than
- 2:10Speaker 2: we need now thanks to President Trump. But around the world,
- 2:14Speaker 2: you got to make sure they don't run dry, otherwise
- 2:17Speaker 2: it could drive the price up to one hundred and
- 2:19Speaker 2: seventy dollars a gallon that would translate to six or
- 2:22Speaker 2: seven dollars at the pump, So you'll have to do something.
- 2:25Speaker 2: In the next few weeks. The House passed this War
- 2:28Speaker 2: Powers resolution that the President cannot go to war in Iran.
- 2:32Speaker 2: It sounds dramatic, it doesn't mean a thing. It's a
- 2:35Speaker 2: totally meaningless thing the House can pass. It doesn't go anywhere.
- 2:38Speaker 2: It's not going to get anywhere in the Senate. Even
- 2:41Speaker 2: if it did, I don't think the President would follow
- 2:43Speaker 2: it anyway. So, hey, Marco Rubio. It was always thought
- 2:48Speaker 2: that JD. Vance Worth the front runner for twenty twenty eight,
- 2:52Speaker 2: but Rubio pulling ahead. You know, Press Secretary Caroline Levitt
- 2:58Speaker 2: is on maternity leave, so one day Rubio filled in.
- 3:01Speaker 2: He was dazzling, He was brilliant, explaining everything, and he
- 3:05Speaker 2: was great making fun of the press, attacking the press.
- 3:08Speaker 2: So that kind of put him ahead of JD. Vans.
- 3:10Speaker 2: So they let JD. Vance do the press conference one day.
- 3:14Speaker 2: It was good, but it wasn't Marco Rubio. And yesterday
- 3:18Speaker 2: on Capitol Hill, Rubio was great. You know, these hearings,
- 3:24Speaker 2: these congressional hearings, they just get a Republican in there,
- 3:27Speaker 2: a Trump person in there and beat them up like crazy.
- 3:30Speaker 2: They just accuse him of everything, and then they don't
- 3:33Speaker 2: let the person answer. Democrats are great at hearings. They're
- 3:37Speaker 2: great at it. I mean as far as getting viral video,
- 3:40Speaker 2: as far as getting TV video. Republicans think at it.
- 3:44Speaker 2: They ask real questions, they wait and let the person answer.
- 3:47Speaker 2: It's not as good for viral stuff. But it's just
- 3:51Speaker 2: this first guy calling Rubio a liar. The Rubio is
- 3:56Speaker 2: covering up that the President Trump is total mental decline.
- 4:00Speaker 2: You know. They make up something like a pedophile or
- 4:02Speaker 2: he's got cognitive problems, and they make up this thing,
- 4:05Speaker 2: and then they all spread it around, and they tell
- 4:08Speaker 2: the lie so many times that they forgot they made
- 4:12Speaker 2: it up. They really come to believe it. But they've
- 4:14Speaker 2: convinced themselves the President Trump is in total cognitive decline
- 4:17Speaker 2: and Rubio's covering it up.
- 4:19Speaker 3: The American people deserve the truth.
- 4:22Speaker 2: I yield back.
- 4:24Speaker 4: I don't even know how to respond to that, other
- 4:26Speaker 4: than to tell you that it's absurd and ridiculous and
- 4:28Speaker 4: I can't believe we're in a Foreign Affairs committee meeting
- 4:30Speaker 4: in front of the House, an important time in American
- 4:32Speaker 4: foreign policy. Just keep lying, just keep on supposedly someone
- 4:36Speaker 4: who thinks he's a medical expert when he's not. The
- 4:38Speaker 4: truth of the matter is we had a cognitively impaired
- 4:41Speaker 4: president in office a few years ago. That's a cognitively
- 4:43Speaker 4: impaired president. But I don't like to talk about that
- 4:45Speaker 4: because it weakens America.
- 4:48Speaker 2: That's the nicest exchange. It gets worse. So what they do.
- 4:51Speaker 2: They'll ask you the worst question in the world, accusing
- 4:54Speaker 2: you of everything on earth, and then they don't let
- 4:56Speaker 2: you answer. If you try to answer, they start. You
- 4:58Speaker 2: could be one two words in you're answering, they're cutting
- 5:00Speaker 2: you off.
- 5:01Speaker 5: Secretary of Rubio, why did the State Department approve the
- 5:04Speaker 5: thirty million dollars to g h F at a time
- 5:06Speaker 5: when other well tested agencies were there and able to
- 5:10Speaker 5: provide distribution.
- 5:11Speaker 4: Well, because one of those were in cohoots with Hamas
- 5:15Speaker 4: and we saw an incredible amount of the aid flow
- 5:17Speaker 4: into Hamas's hands.
- 5:18Speaker 5: Reclaiming my time, the aid was.
- 5:20Speaker 6: Here by Israel and the rules.
- 5:23Speaker 4: You can't even answer a question.
- 5:24Speaker 5: You're not following the rules. You're very familiar with how
- 5:27Speaker 5: this works.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Never served in a weird rule. You ask the question
- 5:30Speaker 4: and I can't answer.
- 5:34Speaker 2: That's what they do. If you say to Wurds reclaiming
- 5:37Speaker 2: my time, I'm reclaiming my time.
- 5:39Speaker 4: It's absolutely wrong about the way the money flows. It's
- 5:41Speaker 4: pretty so straightforward, and I'll share it.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'm going to have to reclaim time again.
- 5:45Speaker 4: So what kind of processes they get to answer? Ask
- 5:47Speaker 4: questions and you don't.
- 5:48Speaker 7: Get to answer it's my time the question.
- 5:50Speaker 2: I don't know, So why am I here?
- 5:53Speaker 8: I don't you to answer your questions and your defamert
- 5:55Speaker 8: reclaiming my time?
- 5:56Speaker 2: Reclaim?
- 5:57Speaker 4: But I want to reclaim.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Do I get time?
- 5:59Speaker 4: Because you makes the Famo's horse parents.
- 6:01Speaker 3: No one can talk here. He's crazy.
- 6:04Speaker 2: It's really ridiculous, but it works. They get their viral
- 6:08Speaker 2: videos and then they run them all over CNN and hey,
- 6:11Speaker 2: Scott Besson had to testify in front of Gay This
- 6:13Speaker 2: was pretty good. Somehow, I don't know what they're they're
- 6:17Speaker 2: accusing him of anything and everything, and this Widen, the
- 6:20Speaker 2: Senator Widen, believe it or not, he's pushing that there's
- 6:26Speaker 2: an Epstein scandal. You got to investigate the Epstein files,
- 6:29Speaker 2: the Epstein list that well, turns out this guy's son
- 6:33Speaker 2: is all tangled up with Epstein. The son's all through
- 6:35Speaker 2: the Epstein files. Widen's son runs some sort of hedge fund,
- 6:39Speaker 2: some kind of fund, and he went to Epstein and
- 6:42Speaker 2: saw him in his house a number of times asking
- 6:44Speaker 2: for money. So Widen starts in on this investment, starts
- 6:48Speaker 2: bringing up Epstein, your son in Epstein.
- 6:50Speaker 9: We would like to hear what Adam Widen and Jeffrey
- 6:53Speaker 9: Epstein talked about. Your son's largest investment position was Rick's cabaret.
- 6:59Speaker 9: So did your son and Jeffrey Epstein talk about pole
- 7:02Speaker 9: dancing as he begged him for money using your limited credibility?
- 7:08Speaker 2: So we don't have the clipper. But apparently Wyden got
- 7:11Speaker 2: crazy and said, I'm not going to answer anything from
- 7:14Speaker 2: the capo of the worst crime family in America. What
- 7:18Speaker 2: for that means but that that's crazy Democrats, totally hysterical, hyperbolic.
- 7:23Speaker 2: So hey, the Knicks last night, big, big, big first
- 7:26Speaker 2: game win. Knicks behind, way behind, but came alive in
- 7:30Speaker 2: the fourth quart of these Knicks, all these what is
- 7:33Speaker 2: it eleven twelve victories in a row. I mean, they
- 7:35Speaker 2: definitely definitely got a lot of swagger, confidence and they
- 7:39Speaker 2: can pull themselves together. It was an incredible win.
- 7:41Speaker 8: It crunts it on the drive, Spence Undernea, puts it up,
- 7:46Speaker 8: puts it in, Janglin.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Cruts it, does it again.
- 7:49Speaker 8: It's a six point league but thirty seven seconds left.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Yeah, pretty good, pretty amazing. They had these watch parties.
- 7:56Speaker 2: That was one outside in Madison Square Garden. That was great.
- 8:00Speaker 2: People yelling. But I notice they're all you watch these
- 8:03Speaker 2: watch parties. Everything's everybody's eighteen nineteen years old. That they
- 8:06Speaker 2: really know about the Knicks. I guess, but they're eighteen
- 8:09Speaker 2: or nineteen. You go to anything that's called the watch party,
- 8:12Speaker 2: You watch anything though the show up for it. Hey,
- 8:17Speaker 2: President Trump was great yesterday talking about crazy Jill Biden.
- 8:23Speaker 2: It's the worst rollout of a book ever. It's only
- 8:26Speaker 2: like number fifty on Amazon. And the reason they put
- 8:30Speaker 2: it out now. You want to try to be at
- 8:33Speaker 2: the top of the bestseller list in your first week.
- 8:36Speaker 2: The reason they put it out now is the June
- 8:39Speaker 2: this part of June, beginning of June, first week of
- 8:41Speaker 2: June is the lowest week of the year for book sales.
- 8:45Speaker 2: For whatever reason. Look around Christmas Christmas season, books sales
- 8:50Speaker 2: are way up, way up because everybody's buying them for
- 8:52Speaker 2: gifts or whatever. The fall, people buy books, but right
- 8:56Speaker 2: now this week every year, it's the lowest sales week
- 8:59Speaker 2: of the year. So that's why she released it this week.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Because it's such a low sales week. You don't have
- 9:05Speaker 2: to sell too many books to get to be number one.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Another time of year, you'd have to sell a ton
- 9:11Speaker 2: of books to be number one, but during this week
- 9:13Speaker 2: you don't have to sell that many and you can
- 9:14Speaker 2: be high on the list. But it's a terrible book.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Everybody that's read it said it's just a ridiculous book.
- 9:22Speaker 2: I mean, just nothing to say. Horrible writer, which is funny.
- 9:26Speaker 2: She's an English teacher, although not a big English teacher,
- 9:29Speaker 2: teaches it a community Delaware Community College. But terrible book.
- 9:34Speaker 2: And she had to make up all these lies. And
- 9:38Speaker 2: the presidential debate, it was pretty clear Biden had total
- 9:42Speaker 2: cognitive impairment, couldn't talk, couldn't finish a sentence. So she
- 9:46Speaker 2: has to explain this. So she first said, I thought
- 9:49Speaker 2: he was having a stroke, which is a lie. She
- 9:51Speaker 2: didn't think that. She sees them like that every day.
- 9:54Speaker 2: It was to imply that, oh, I've never seen him
- 9:57Speaker 2: like this before, he must be having a stroke. He's
- 9:59Speaker 2: never liked this. Then the problem is we know that
- 10:03Speaker 2: right afterwards she'd made this whole speech, but how brilliant
- 10:05Speaker 2: he was, and they she took him to a party
- 10:08Speaker 2: at the waffle house. If you're think you're having a stroke,
- 10:11Speaker 2: waffles aren't really a good cure. So that didn't make
- 10:14Speaker 2: any sense. Then she kept changing the lie every day.
- 10:17Speaker 2: So the next day of the lie was well, there
- 10:19Speaker 2: were doctors backstage. Had they looked at him and said,
- 10:21Speaker 2: he's fine, He's okay. Nobody's falling for any of this.
- 10:24Speaker 2: But President Trump, Miranda Devine asked him about this.
- 10:27Speaker 6: So she said, he had a stroke, But why would
- 10:29Speaker 6: she bring him to a waffle house?
- 10:31Speaker 5: If you had a Would your wife have allowed you
- 10:34Speaker 5: to go off to a waffle house if she will
- 10:36Speaker 5: having a stroke?
- 10:39Speaker 3: You know, although I would.
- 10:40Speaker 10: Actually it's not so bad.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, let's stop saying waffle house. I'm getting
- 10:44Speaker 2: hungry here. So hey, yesterday, Scott Pelley, Uh, this guy
- 10:49Speaker 2: is the biggest most arrogant fake news pampus ass in
- 10:55Speaker 2: the history of the world. Totally delusional. Now they've all
- 11:00Speaker 2: convinced themselves. You see this all over the place, all
- 11:03Speaker 2: over fake news television. You see it all over left
- 11:06Speaker 2: wing stuff online. They've all convinced themselves he was fired
- 11:10Speaker 2: because of President Trump, something to do with President Trump.
- 11:13Speaker 2: They've convinced themselves President Trump is the reason Stephen Colbert
- 11:18Speaker 2: was fired, the reason Scott Pelley was fired. Now you
- 11:21Speaker 2: look at both cases. Colbert has no viewers, the show's
- 11:25Speaker 2: losing forty million a year, and CBS not doing very well.
- 11:30Speaker 2: You know, everything is down, ratings, revenue, everything is dramatically
- 11:34Speaker 2: down over the years at CBS. So whenever you get
- 11:36Speaker 2: a new owner, first thing a new owner does is
- 11:39Speaker 2: look at what's losing money. What's the biggest financial disasters. Yet,
- 11:43Speaker 2: that's what a new owner does. You try to clean
- 11:45Speaker 2: it up, you know, you try to trim the fat.
- 11:49Speaker 2: So this guy's losing forty million a year, that's the
- 11:51Speaker 2: reason he's gone sixty minutes. Ratings are down dramatically. Oh,
- 11:55Speaker 2: I know, we're up ten percent from last year. Yeah,
- 11:58Speaker 2: but you're down ninety percent from ten years ago. So
- 12:02Speaker 2: they convinced themselves this it's all political.
- 12:04Speaker 11: Now.
- 12:04Speaker 2: The new owner of CBS is David Ellison, son of
- 12:08Speaker 2: Larry Ellison. David Ellison, everybody that knows it will tell
- 12:11Speaker 2: you is not a political guy. He's not particularly political.
- 12:15Speaker 2: Is he a Republican or a Democrat. Nobody knows because
- 12:17Speaker 2: he's not into politics. Couldn't care less. And the new
- 12:21Speaker 2: CBS president, Barry Weiss, it keeps getting lost in the
- 12:26Speaker 2: shuffle here. You keep forgetting she's a Democrat. She's not
- 12:29Speaker 2: a Republican, she's not a Trump supporter. She's a Democrat.
- 12:33Speaker 2: But the problem is she's a normal Democrat, like an
- 12:36Speaker 2: old fashioned Bill Clinton Democrat. She's not a crazy, woke
- 12:40Speaker 2: left wing Trump derangement syndrome kook. She's a Bill Clinton Democrat.
- 12:45Speaker 2: And these other people have gone so far to the
- 12:48Speaker 2: left that to them, an actual Democrat is now a Republican.
- 12:52Speaker 2: So it's not political. Apparently, Barry Weiss now the reason
- 12:58Speaker 2: Scott Pelly got himself fired. I mean he was, you know,
- 13:01Speaker 2: questionable character anyways, getting millions of dollars, delivering nothing that
- 13:05Speaker 2: really does anything for anybody, and he's running fake news
- 13:08Speaker 2: all the time. You know. Ever since he's gone, everybody's
- 13:11Speaker 2: posting all the fake news he pushed through the years,
- 13:15Speaker 2: all of them. They pushed the fake Russia hoax, they've
- 13:17Speaker 2: covered up the laptop claimed it was for Russian disinformation.
- 13:21Speaker 2: They denied the wire tapping at Trump fake news. They
- 13:26Speaker 2: tried that fake Ron de Santas scandal, that they made
- 13:30Speaker 2: up all that kind of stuff. So apparently berryweise, you know,
- 13:35Speaker 2: you got to decide do we really need this guy.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Then they have the town hall meeting with the new boss,
- 13:42Speaker 2: and he stands up and starts cursing and screaming at
- 13:45Speaker 2: the guy, telling him he's incompetent, you're murdering the place,
- 13:47Speaker 2: tells the guy off, humiliates the guy in front of
- 13:49Speaker 2: the stet horrible. You can't do that anywhere and not
- 13:52Speaker 2: get fired. So the next day they said, let's sit
- 13:56Speaker 2: down and talk and we'll work this out. What you're
- 14:00Speaker 2: what you're angry about, And they try to talk and
- 14:02Speaker 2: he's even worse, tells him off even more, so they
- 14:05Speaker 2: realize nothing can be done. So apparently she called David Ellison,
- 14:09Speaker 2: the new CEO of Skydance Paramount Skydance, and told him
- 14:15Speaker 2: she doesn't know she should fire him or not. And
- 14:17Speaker 2: he's the only thing he said, he said, what's your
- 14:21Speaker 2: tolerance for pain? So, in other words, he said, if
- 14:25Speaker 2: you can take the pain, keep the guy around. But
- 14:27Speaker 2: if you don't want to take all this pain, all
- 14:28Speaker 2: the time from just get rid of him. So he's gone.
- 14:32Speaker 2: He's been putting out all kinds of nonsense statements. He
- 14:37Speaker 2: wrote a letter to the whole staff. This is Scott Pelly. Now,
- 14:41Speaker 2: the new owner of our network is casting this legend aside,
- 14:45Speaker 2: apparently to curry a moment of favor with the Trump administration.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Last month, sixty Minutes lost his DNA when the entire
- 14:56Speaker 2: senior leadership and two of our best on air course
- 14:59Speaker 2: by on its were cruelly cruelly fired. I don't think
- 15:03Speaker 2: they were cruelly fired. I think they got a nice
- 15:05Speaker 2: severance and all that they stood for fairness against the
- 15:08Speaker 2: forces of political bias. He's the political bias. He's the
- 15:12Speaker 2: worst political bias we've ever seen. This goes on and
- 15:15Speaker 2: on and on. Uh. For for my part, oh here,
- 15:20Speaker 2: listen to this. Actually, I think they can end up
- 15:22Speaker 2: suing him. They could really sue him. They got a
- 15:25Speaker 2: hell of a case against this guy. They should take
- 15:27Speaker 2: him into court and sue him. He says. For my part,
- 15:29Speaker 2: new management has instructed me to inject falsehoods and bias
- 15:35Speaker 2: into a political story. Now this is not true. They
- 15:38Speaker 2: don't didn't order him to inject falsehoods in there. They
- 15:43Speaker 2: ordered me to inject falsehoods and bias. I've been I've
- 15:47Speaker 2: been told to include assertions that are unverified. Now, what
- 15:53Speaker 2: he really is saying, you know, he gives no examples
- 15:56Speaker 2: because there aren't. What they really did was when he
- 15:59Speaker 2: was doing one of these hatch jobs on Trump or
- 16:01Speaker 2: on some Republican they told him, you've got to go
- 16:04Speaker 2: to the other side and get quotes from them. You've
- 16:07Speaker 2: got to let the other side respond. That's what he's
- 16:10Speaker 2: referring to. To him that was injecting falsehoods and assertations
- 16:15Speaker 2: that were false. They were just telling him, you can't
- 16:18Speaker 2: just do a one sided hit job on somebody. You
- 16:21Speaker 2: got to give the other side a chance to respond,
- 16:23Speaker 2: which he refused to do. Anyway, Well, we've got a
- 16:26Speaker 2: lot to go. We'll get back to Scott Pelley. You
- 16:27Speaker 2: got a lot to talk about. We'll take some calls. Next.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Set up reseat on the iHeartRadio app to Doubor to
- 16:42Speaker 1: hear Mark live.
- 16:43Speaker 12: Set another for.
- 16:44Speaker 8: Mark's podcast to hear him anytime.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Now back to Mark.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Zimone on do woor.
- 16:52Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Ron in Florida. Ron,
- 16:56Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 16:58Speaker 6: Good?
- 16:58Speaker 11: Good morning. I wanted to say before start that I've
- 17:00Speaker 11: been listening to you since January of twenty twenty. I
- 17:02Speaker 11: enjoy your show, especially Vincent, and I'm an avid listener.
- 17:06Speaker 2: So well, thanks. Where are you in Florida?
- 17:10Speaker 11: And Jacksonville Beach is just south of Savannah if you
- 17:13Speaker 11: know where that is.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Yeah, but beautiful weather here today one hundred degrees Dallas.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Well say what they tell you it's beautiful? Was it
- 17:21Speaker 2: one hundred degrees? And you got lizards crawling all over
- 17:23Speaker 2: the non hurricanes?
- 17:26Speaker 11: Eighties? Right now, we've done a couple of weeks of
- 17:28Speaker 11: good weather.
- 17:29Speaker 2: So okay, so low eighties. What's going to be at
- 17:31Speaker 2: three o'clock nineties?
- 17:33Speaker 11: Probably one hundred?
- 17:34Speaker 2: Yeah, you see you guys, try to cover that up,
- 17:37Speaker 2: all right, go ahead.
- 17:39Speaker 11: But one time I lived in Dallas, Texas.
- 17:41Speaker 2: If you call that living, but okay, okay.
- 17:45Speaker 11: Uh, and work for the transit agency there. And I've
- 17:48Speaker 11: met Scott when I was a PR guy and he
- 17:50Speaker 11: was interviewing me for some stuff.
- 17:53Speaker 2: We met Scotts.
- 17:53Speaker 11: I just want to say, just make an observation.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Who you meet Who did you meet, Scott Besson, Scott Telly, Oh,
- 18:00Speaker 2: Scott Pelley, Oh okay, yeah.
- 18:02Speaker 11: When he was with w FAA, and you know, something happened.
- 18:06Speaker 11: I mean, these several reporters from there were put up
- 18:09Speaker 11: and went to d C in various jobs. And it
- 18:11Speaker 11: seems like they and we stayed in touch over time,
- 18:14Speaker 11: but not not with Scott but others. But it seems
- 18:16Speaker 11: like something happens when they go to DC. They just
- 18:18Speaker 11: totally lose their minds because in journalism school, I started
- 18:22Speaker 11: out as a report and they told you, you know,
- 18:24Speaker 11: you're just to get both sides of the story and
- 18:26Speaker 11: what the public or the reader decide what's truth is.
- 18:29Speaker 11: And it's like they forget that when they go to
- 18:31Speaker 11: d C. I don't know what happens. They go nationally, Yeah,
- 18:33Speaker 11: they're just an observation.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Well, Ron, great, call call us again sometime.
- 18:37Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 18:37Speaker 2: Well they become these left wing CBS people and then
- 18:41Speaker 2: that's bad enough, but then Trump comes along and he
- 18:46Speaker 2: just sets them off. It's Trump de arrangement syndrome. They
- 18:49Speaker 2: just go they feel that he is so evil that
- 18:51Speaker 2: they have to take the gloves off and do whatever
- 18:53Speaker 2: they have to do to get this guy. Mind me
- 18:56Speaker 2: to talk about that later. How this CBS was always
- 18:58Speaker 2: a little left wing, but what it was really Dan
- 19:01Speaker 2: rather that changed everything. Well, we'll get to that coming up.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Let's go to Mara in Nevada.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Mara, how you doing so good?
- 19:08Speaker 7: Chile? Vincent Mark Trump has been a brilliant negotiator most
- 19:12Speaker 7: of his life, but he's been negotiating with brick and mortar.
- 19:16Speaker 7: Brick and mortar does not bleed, Brick and mortar does
- 19:19Speaker 7: not die. He's not a wartime president. He doesn't know
- 19:23Speaker 7: how to go in and have innocent people killed. He
- 19:26Speaker 7: can't do it marketing, right, Well.
- 19:28Speaker 2: I think you're getting a little a little over the
- 19:32Speaker 2: top there with all of that. Now, listen, he's been
- 19:35Speaker 2: pretty good at a wartime president, and he's been pretty
- 19:37Speaker 2: good at military stuff. You have a good point in that.
- 19:41Speaker 2: All his life he's a brilliant negotiator, but he's been
- 19:44Speaker 2: negotiating with business people, with real estate developers, with unions.
- 19:49Speaker 2: It's business. He's never had to negotiate with fanatical lunatics
- 19:53Speaker 2: that aren't in a business. So that you're right, that's
- 19:56Speaker 2: a little different. But he'll figure it out if he
- 19:58Speaker 2: hasn't already. Let's go to Rich Myrtle Beach, Rich, how
- 20:03Speaker 2: you doing?
- 20:04Speaker 6: And thanks Bakino. Mat has actually got a point there.
- 20:06Speaker 6: I wasn't going to bring this up. But you know,
- 20:09Speaker 6: just like you said, Trump could be too nice sometimes,
- 20:11Speaker 6: like he didn't go after Hillary once he got elected
- 20:13Speaker 6: when he really should have gone after that foundation. But
- 20:15Speaker 6: you know the point you're making about CBS. You know,
- 20:19Speaker 6: I haven't watched anything unless it's a major sporting event.
- 20:22Speaker 6: It's probably been fifteen twenty twenty five years since I've
- 20:25Speaker 6: watched anything on a lamestream media network CBS, NBC, ABC.
- 20:30Speaker 6: There's absolutely nothing to watch. The sitcoms to horrible zealing
- 20:34Speaker 6: to watch in those stations unless it's an actual major
- 20:37Speaker 6: sporting event.
- 20:38Speaker 2: Let me think, is there anything I watch on network TV?
- 20:41Speaker 2: I mean, I watched the news, watch, I watched the
- 20:45Speaker 2: Sunday shows. I don't know why nobody else does.
- 20:48Speaker 6: I don't know why you're doing. I still love the
- 20:50Speaker 6: McLaughlin group. In the old days, I used to love
- 20:52Speaker 6: John McLaughlin.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Oh, I'll tell you the only thing I watched Blue Bloods.
- 20:56Speaker 2: That was the one thing I watched and now I
- 20:57Speaker 2: watch Boston Blue. It's not the same. But that's.
- 21:02Speaker 6: Like you said, Mark, is no reason to watch sixty
- 21:05Speaker 6: minutes anymore. There's no reason to watch anything on network
- 21:08Speaker 6: TV with ten million channels, on direct TV, Dish, or
- 21:12Speaker 6: even on cable.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Yeah, well, you're right, that's a very good point. Let's
- 21:15Speaker 2: go to George in Connecticut. George, how you doing.
- 21:19Speaker 10: I am doing very well. Thank you for taking my call.
- 21:22Speaker 10: I wanted to share something that my wife shared with
- 21:24Speaker 10: me just last night that gave a different perspective on
- 21:27Speaker 10: why Trump is not quote finishing the job. And I
- 21:31Speaker 10: think one of the reasons is that Trump wants to
- 21:34Speaker 10: get a coalition in the Gulf countries to come together
- 21:37Speaker 10: and join the Abraham Accords. And the best way to
- 21:40Speaker 10: do that is by allowing what's going on over there
- 21:44Speaker 10: so that it motivates Kuwait, buff Rain, all these other
- 21:49Speaker 10: Gulf countries.
- 21:50Speaker 2: They've joined the thing they've been working on. Apparently they
- 21:53Speaker 2: had Kuwait and Cutter ready to go. This is about
- 21:56Speaker 2: two three weeks ago, and then they all backed out
- 21:57Speaker 2: at the last minute. But he's also waiting because this
- 22:00Speaker 2: is a good situation for us. It's totally totally draining
- 22:03Speaker 2: the economy, the finances, everything in Iran. So the longer
- 22:08Speaker 2: we wait, the more it hurts them. But anytime we
- 22:10Speaker 2: want he can finish.
- 22:11Speaker 10: It provides additional motivation for them to join the Abraham Accords.
- 22:15Speaker 10: And I think, by the way, that also is one
- 22:16Speaker 10: of the reasons why he was mad at bebe Nut
- 22:19Speaker 10: and Yahoo by getting into Lebanon, and not just.
- 22:23Speaker 2: The hes blog. Okay, but that's been taken out of context,
- 22:26Speaker 2: that whole I mean, he did yell at he's cursy
- 22:29Speaker 2: uh And, as he pointed out, he does that all
- 22:31Speaker 2: the time with everybody. You know what he's using the effort.
- 22:33Speaker 2: Are you efing crazy? What the f is wrong? That's
- 22:36Speaker 2: normal conversation. He does that all the time with everybody,
- 22:39Speaker 2: and every president does behind the scenes. In fact, there
- 22:43Speaker 2: was a famous uhna who was in the Oval office
- 22:46Speaker 2: and Clinton told him off, cursing and screaming right in
- 22:49Speaker 2: front of everybody. It happens all the time. Hey, when
- 22:51Speaker 2: we come back the we hope the brilliant Steve Moore
- 22:55Speaker 2: will be with us next the great economists will talk
- 22:58Speaker 2: to him in a moment on seven to ten, You.
- 23:00Speaker 5: Are it's more Mark Simone on you are well.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Steve Moore, the brilliant economists, great columnists, and of course
- 23:11Speaker 2: you see them all over television. You should get his
- 23:13Speaker 2: latest book, The Trump Economic Miracle. It's a great book.
- 23:16Speaker 2: You'll learn a lot. And then he runs the Committee
- 23:19Speaker 2: to Unleash Prosperity and every day they put out the
- 23:22Speaker 2: best daily briefing, news analysis. It's free. It'll come right
- 23:26Speaker 2: to your email every morning. You'll love it. Just go
- 23:28Speaker 2: to Unleash Prosperity dot com. Unleash Prosperity dot com and
- 23:33Speaker 2: sign up. Steve Moore, how you doing.
- 23:37Speaker 6: I'm doing well, Mark, and I think we're going to
- 23:39Speaker 6: you know, tomorrow morning we get a new jobs report,
- 23:42Speaker 6: and I think all indications are we're gonna give a
- 23:44Speaker 6: pretty healthy number for employment. Businesses are hiring again. And
- 23:50Speaker 6: you know, if you look over the last couple of weeks,
- 23:54Speaker 6: almost all of the economic news has been positive. You're
- 23:59Speaker 6: seeing a lot of employment, you're seeing a lot of
- 24:04Speaker 6: investment by businesses. We saw a big manufacturing report that
- 24:08Speaker 6: Larry Cobbo was talking about on the show last night.
- 24:12Speaker 6: So it's even despite the fact that we're paying a
- 24:15Speaker 6: lot for energy and that's been a real downer for
- 24:17Speaker 6: the economy. The resilience and durability of this economy is incredible,
- 24:22Speaker 6: and I think part of that is the big beautiful
- 24:25Speaker 6: bill that every Democrat voted against.
- 24:27Speaker 2: Yeah, although I'm watching MSNBC Morning Shoe this morning and
- 24:31Speaker 2: they're talking about and he said, as Americans struggled to
- 24:35Speaker 2: pay their bills in this troubling economy. Now Democrats run
- 24:39Speaker 2: around repeating that, what's.
- 24:43Speaker 6: I mean, Look, everybody's mad about grocery prices. Everybody's angry
- 24:48Speaker 6: about gas prices. Of course, I mean those are up
- 24:51Speaker 6: a lot. And you know, God, we've tried to buy
- 24:54Speaker 6: a Hamburger lately, or of stake. You know, those costs
- 24:58Speaker 6: are up a lot. But the on me, despite those
- 25:01Speaker 6: higher prices, you know, is really moving ahead. For it.
- 25:05Speaker 6: By the way, we have all time highs on the
- 25:06Speaker 6: stock market.
- 25:07Speaker 9: Now.
- 25:07Speaker 6: I know somebody say, well, that's only for rich people,
- 25:09Speaker 6: Know it's not. I mean virtually every middle class worker
- 25:12Speaker 6: has there all the retirement savings in the stock market.
- 25:16Speaker 6: So when that does better, America does better, and workers
- 25:19Speaker 6: do better. So I see an economy that is it
- 25:24Speaker 6: is getting.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Better every week.
- 25:26Speaker 6: And if you know, if I say this, every week
- 25:28Speaker 6: on your show. If we can get this situation in
- 25:30Speaker 6: the least settled, I think you're going to see one
- 25:33Speaker 6: of those great economic booms.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, if I had a restaurant and all of
- 25:39Speaker 2: a sudden, all my customers were eating a restaurant across
- 25:42Speaker 2: the street, they left me and they're all leading over there.
- 25:44Speaker 2: I go over there and I see what are they
- 25:45Speaker 2: doing that? How come states don't do this when companies leave,
- 25:50Speaker 2: they're all going to Texas. They're all going to Florida.
- 25:53Speaker 2: You just had another one to leave and go to Texas.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Why don't they try to do what Texas does? Steve Moore,
- 26:02Speaker 2: did we lose you? Did we lose him? Oh, we'll
- 26:08Speaker 2: call you back. Uh, No, he's gone. What do we
- 26:13Speaker 2: have them back? Let me see. Yeah. The big thing
- 26:17Speaker 2: is Samsung just announced they're pulling out of New Jersey.
- 26:20Speaker 2: We have Steve Moore back. No, well he was here
- 26:25Speaker 2: for a minute, which is good. Yeah. Samsung, major business
- 26:31Speaker 2: that was operating in New Jersey, huge footprint in New Jersey,
- 26:35Speaker 2: announces they're leaving, closing everything down and moving it to Texas.
- 26:39Speaker 2: So you would think if you were a state and
- 26:43Speaker 2: one by one by one, your biggest taxpayers, and your
- 26:46Speaker 2: biggest companies, and your biggest employers are leaving you and
- 26:50Speaker 2: moving to Florida. Many of them now moving to Texas.
- 26:53Speaker 2: You would think you'd go down there and talk to
- 26:56Speaker 2: them and see what they're doing. I mean, in any
- 26:58Speaker 2: other business, if we were in the I guess, let's
- 27:01Speaker 2: say you're in the radio business. All of a sudden,
- 27:03Speaker 2: the other station takes off. They're doing great. You look
- 27:05Speaker 2: at what they're doing, but not with policies. Steve Moore,
- 27:09Speaker 2: are you there?
- 27:11Speaker 6: Yeah, I guess the goblins didn't want me to talk
- 27:13Speaker 6: to you, but you know, I was just saying that
- 27:16Speaker 6: blue states like New York, New Jersey, California, my home
- 27:20Speaker 6: state of Illinois, need to be more like Texas and
- 27:23Speaker 6: Florida and Utah and states that are really booming. And
- 27:26Speaker 6: you're seeing more and more of these companies moving out
- 27:29Speaker 6: of New York and New Jersey. You saw Exxon, one
- 27:32Speaker 6: of our iconic companies in America, moved out of New
- 27:36Speaker 6: Jersey into Texas. And now the latest of Samsung is
- 27:39Speaker 6: moving out of I think it's.
- 27:41Speaker 2: New York, New Jersey.
- 27:43Speaker 6: So yeah, why don't these blue states get it? Why
- 27:46Speaker 6: don't they change in a way that makes them pro business,
- 27:50Speaker 6: because you can't have jobs without businesses. Folks.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Also, they claim to love tax revenue, but these are
- 27:57Speaker 2: your biggest tax revenue people, the billionaires, the companies. But
- 28:03Speaker 2: what is it about tifeicants that they never learned they
- 28:05Speaker 2: can make the same mistake a billion times and never
- 28:08Speaker 2: stop making.
- 28:08Speaker 6: Well, there's a kind of a war now against wealth.
- 28:11Speaker 6: Did you see your good friend Bernie Sanders says he
- 28:13Speaker 6: wants the government to take a fifty percent ownership of
- 28:17Speaker 6: all the tech companies in America. Can you imagine Bernie
- 28:19Speaker 6: Sanders running a company?
- 28:22Speaker 2: Yeah, a phone made by Bernie Sanders.
- 28:25Speaker 3: That's going to really You're right?
- 28:27Speaker 6: So, I mean, look, you have to treat businesses kindly.
- 28:31Speaker 6: And a lot of these politicians they've never run a business.
- 28:33Speaker 6: They don't know how hard it is to make me
- 28:35Speaker 6: a payroll and to employee people and make a product
- 28:38Speaker 6: people want. I mean, I hear AOC talking about these big,
- 28:41Speaker 6: bad businesses and how greedy they are, Like, well, AOC,
- 28:44Speaker 6: why don't you go out and start a business and
- 28:47Speaker 6: tell us what you think? How was it? You know,
- 28:50Speaker 6: there's so many famous stories of liberals that said, gee,
- 28:52Speaker 6: I had no idea until I tried to start a business.
- 28:55Speaker 6: What effect taxes and regulation have on trying to make
- 28:59Speaker 6: a profit. And by the way, folks, is not a
- 29:01Speaker 6: dirty word. Without profits, we would have no businesses.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Yeah. And most of these guys, when they get that profit,
- 29:07Speaker 2: what do they do? They spend it? And businesses spend
- 29:09Speaker 2: it over and over again. Yeah. So, hey, California, Steve
- 29:13Speaker 2: Hilton wins the primary practed very well. You think maybe
- 29:16Speaker 2: voters are starting to wise up out there.
- 29:19Speaker 6: Well, the good news from California. And by the way,
- 29:21Speaker 6: I love California. I love the weather, I love the beaches,
- 29:24Speaker 6: I love the mountains, I love the beautiful women. I mean,
- 29:26Speaker 6: it's a great state. It's been ruined by politicians. But
- 29:29Speaker 6: you know they they That election they had on Tuesday
- 29:32Speaker 6: was amazing. Mark. There were about five tax hikes that
- 29:37Speaker 6: were put on the ballot, you know, for voter approval.
- 29:39Speaker 6: Every one of them got turned down all the way
- 29:42Speaker 6: from San Francisco down to San Diego. So when Californians say,
- 29:46Speaker 6: read my lips, no new taxes, you know there's something
- 29:48Speaker 6: going on in America. People feel over taxed. They don't
- 29:51Speaker 6: feel like when you've got you know, a trillion dollars
- 29:54Speaker 6: a fraud in the federal budget. We should be raising
- 29:57Speaker 6: tax isn't giving these guys more money?
- 29:59Speaker 2: Yeah? Absolutely, Hey, Steve Moore puts out the best daily briefing.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Go to Unleashed Prosperity dot com and sign up today.
- 30:05Speaker 2: You had a great thing about just Bill Clinton introduced
- 30:08Speaker 2: workfair instead of just welfare, you work for it, which helps.
- 30:12Speaker 2: What about bringing all that?
- 30:14Speaker 6: Of course, we want people, you know, to have healthcare,
- 30:17Speaker 6: We want people to have you know, we don't want
- 30:19Speaker 6: people to go hungry or homeless. But if you're going
- 30:21Speaker 6: to get a government benefit and you're an able body,
- 30:23Speaker 6: don't you think you used to be working. If the
- 30:28Speaker 6: government's going to give you money, you should do something
- 30:30Speaker 6: to return, you know, to earn that money, and so
- 30:32Speaker 6: you know, and work there by the way moves people
- 30:34Speaker 6: off of welfare into jobs, into getting a paycheck. And
- 30:38Speaker 6: but once you have a paycheck and you get a job,
- 30:40Speaker 6: you do a good job, you're gonna get better paycheck
- 30:42Speaker 6: and find But you can't poverty if you're just sitting
- 30:46Speaker 6: at home watching TV all day.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and getting back to work every day can really
- 30:50Speaker 2: really turn a person's life around and get your motivated.
- 30:53Speaker 6: By the way people who are working. Mark people say, oh,
- 30:56Speaker 6: that's so cool to make people know people who work
- 30:58Speaker 6: are happier. Yeah, and healthier than people who don't work.
- 31:02Speaker 2: Yeah. Actually, there's nothing more cruel than training somebody just
- 31:06Speaker 2: sit at home and do nothing and getting them out
- 31:08Speaker 2: of work. Wise. So well, Steve Moore, great work, keep
- 31:12Speaker 2: it up, and you got another book in you.

- 32:27Speaker 2: a lot. Company is looking to raise seventy five billion
- 32:33Speaker 2: in this IPO. This steal. That price values the company
- 32:38Speaker 2: at one point seven five trillion, making it among the
- 32:44Speaker 2: ten most valuable companies listed in the US. Hey, I

- 33:38Speaker 2: It's Friday night? I notice I'm not really a basketball fan.
- 33:42Speaker 2: I don't even watch it, but I notice they every
- 33:44Speaker 2: time they play a game, they take two days off
- 33:46Speaker 2: before they play the next one. It's a best of
- 33:48Speaker 2: seven series, world series. Boom boom, boom every night. Only
- 33:52Speaker 2: time it's off when they got to travel. But it's
- 33:56Speaker 2: it's Friday night. And then the next game is Monday night.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Why are they off for two days? That's I guess
- 34:05Speaker 2: when they travel. Now it comes back to New York
- 34:07Speaker 2: Monday night. President Trump may be there for the game.
- 34:10Speaker 2: First time at President's ever come to an NBA championship.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Mom Donnie, who most likely will be there, he suddenly
- 34:19Speaker 2: pretends he's a basketball fan. I think, if you check
- 34:22Speaker 2: the record, I don't think he was ever there before
- 34:24Speaker 2: this year. Now, if you check the record, Trump has
- 34:27Speaker 2: been a Knicks fan. He's been to a million games
- 34:30Speaker 2: over the years. You can see thousands of pictures of
- 34:32Speaker 2: him at Knicks games. We'll be back after the news.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Big hour coming up. Jimmy Faylor will be with us.
- 34:37Speaker 2: We'll get back to crazy Scott Pelly and a whole
- 34:40Speaker 2: lot more. Another hour to go, so don't go way
- 34:42Speaker 2: back right after the news on seven to ten WR.
- 34:47Speaker 3: Mark Simone, come on sevent WR.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Well, Hey, a beautiful data day. It's gonna be well,
- 34:57Speaker 2: it's gonna be very hot ninety tomorrow, ninety on Saturday,
- 35:01Speaker 2: but bright sunshine. It's like summer changes on Sunday, gets
- 35:05Speaker 2: a little cooler and there might be rain. We'll get
- 35:08Speaker 2: to Scott Pelley in a moment. A couple of things
- 35:11Speaker 2: going on. Todd blanche the acting Attorney General. President Trump
- 35:17Speaker 2: has nominated him to be the attorney general. They'll try
- 35:22Speaker 2: to Democrats in Congress will try to stop him. They'll
- 35:25Speaker 2: yell about Epstein and all kinds of things. Yeah, and
- 35:28Speaker 2: the other thing. If you're Democrat and you watch MSNBC
- 35:32Speaker 2: or CNN, all they'll be telling you all day. I
- 35:35Speaker 2: watched him do it this morning. President Trump has nominated
- 35:38Speaker 2: Todd his personal lawyer. This is a horrible, unheard of
- 35:43Speaker 2: to nominate your personal lawyer to be the attorney general. Well,
- 35:48Speaker 2: they're just lying to you. It's happened many times. Remember
- 35:52Speaker 2: John Mitchell was the attorney general. He had been Nixon's
- 35:55Speaker 2: personal lawyer. Ed Meese was the attorney general under Reagan.
- 35:58Speaker 2: He had been Reagan's personal lawyer. It happens a lot.
- 36:01Speaker 2: It's not unusual. Don't listen to these people. Hey, John F.
- 36:06Speaker 2: Kennedy appointed his brother attorney general who'd not only been
- 36:10Speaker 2: his personal lawyer, he had been his campaign manager. He'd
- 36:13Speaker 2: been there. It's perfectly normal. Happens all the time. Now,
- 36:16Speaker 2: this guy that I always forget his name, the guy
- 36:18Speaker 2: that Trump has nominated for DNI Director of National Intelligence,
- 36:23Speaker 2: doesn't seem to be qualified. Everybody's got problems with this guy.
- 36:27Speaker 2: But you got to remember he has not nominated him
- 36:30Speaker 2: to be the Director of National Intelligence, Bill Poultz. He
- 36:34Speaker 2: has thrown him in there as the acting DNI acting
- 36:41Speaker 2: He is not nominating him for the job. Now, this
- 36:44Speaker 2: happened once before, and I can't remember the names, but
- 36:47Speaker 2: a long time ago, in the first Trump term, he
- 36:49Speaker 2: just threw somebody in there, his acting for a couple
- 36:53Speaker 2: of months until he found who he wanted, which was
- 36:55Speaker 2: John Ratcliffe, and Ratcliffe was a great choice. So you'll
- 36:59Speaker 2: see the same thing here. This guy's just temporary. He's
- 37:02Speaker 2: not going to be the nominee. Yeah. Oh, I wanted
- 37:09Speaker 2: to mention Ukraine. Good for them. Ukraine is, but you
- 37:12Speaker 2: know when Russia invaded Ukraine, you figured out that's it
- 37:17Speaker 2: for Ukraine, been wiped out in two months. Well it's
- 37:20Speaker 2: about six years later and they're doing just fine. In fact,
- 37:23Speaker 2: if you had to score this on points, Ukraine wins
- 37:27Speaker 2: at this point. Now they've gotten really good. Instead of
- 37:31Speaker 2: just coming over here crying and begging for our weapons,
- 37:34Speaker 2: they've gotten really good at making their own weapons. They've
- 37:36Speaker 2: been using drones more than ever. And they not only
- 37:40Speaker 2: used drones, they figured out how to make drones. They
- 37:43Speaker 2: built massive drone factories in the Ukraine. They're making all
- 37:47Speaker 2: their own drones. They've become so effective with drones. In fact,
- 37:51Speaker 2: when it comes to going to war in Iran or something,
- 37:54Speaker 2: we might be able to learn something from Ukraine about
- 37:56Speaker 2: what they've been doing. Drone Wise now is about to
- 38:02Speaker 2: go to his big Economic forum. It's his version of
- 38:06Speaker 2: Davos it's this very ritzy annual economic forum. They hold
- 38:11Speaker 2: it in Saint Petersburg. It's the Saint Petersburg International and
- 38:15Speaker 2: Economic Forum. It's going to be held this week. Well,
- 38:18Speaker 2: right before it opens, Ukraine strikes Saint Petersburg with the drones.
- 38:24Speaker 2: They got a big fuel export depot there, big fuel hub,
- 38:30Speaker 2: very important to putin. Ukraine wiped it out in a
- 38:34Speaker 2: drone blitz at the beginning of the week. Just wiped
- 38:37Speaker 2: out that fuel hub right before he's about to start
- 38:39Speaker 2: this economic forum. Good for Ukraine. Ukraine blew it all up.
- 38:47Speaker 2: In fact, if you go to the Economic Forum, you'll
- 38:49Speaker 2: notice thick black smoke billowing into the sky. Long range
- 38:54Speaker 2: drones slammed into that oil terminal and completely wiped it out.
- 38:59Speaker 2: Pretty amazing. Hey we're talking about oh one more thing,
- 39:03Speaker 2: John Bolton. Remember John Bolton got indicted. He had stolen
- 39:08Speaker 2: classified documents. They found out he had lots of classified documents,
- 39:12Speaker 2: He had absolutely no authorization to take them, and he
- 39:17Speaker 2: was indicted a while back. He was arrested, he was
- 39:22Speaker 2: indicted and well, it's this is a frame job. It's
- 39:26Speaker 2: Trump out to get people. He's frame Well, not only
- 39:29Speaker 2: was he not framing him yesterday. Bolton pled guilty. He
- 39:34Speaker 2: pled guilty. They made a deal. He won't go to prison,
- 39:37Speaker 2: he'll pay a two million dollar fine. But he's guilty.
- 39:40Speaker 2: He admitted to being guilty. He pled guilty. He was guilty.
- 39:44Speaker 2: You remember Bolton. He's that guy with the big walrus mustache.
- 39:46Speaker 2: He's a guy who for a thousand years was screaming,
- 39:51Speaker 2: we have to go blow up Iran, we have to.
- 39:53Speaker 2: You know, he was a real hawk, a real war guy,
- 39:57Speaker 2: real warhawk. I have to blow up a Ran, blow
- 40:00Speaker 2: oper in. Now. Trump did hire him in the first term.
- 40:02Speaker 2: But Trump can't stand to me either and knows he's
- 40:05Speaker 2: a nutsjob. But Trump hired him just to be in
- 40:08Speaker 2: the pictures in the room to scare Iran in other
- 40:12Speaker 2: countries because they were afraid of Bolton because he was
- 40:15Speaker 2: such a hawk and he was ready to blow him
- 40:16Speaker 2: all up. So Trump didn't want to have to do
- 40:18Speaker 2: that back then. So he's hired Bolton to make it
- 40:21Speaker 2: look like there's something bad could happen, just to intimidate them.
- 40:25Speaker 2: He had Bolton sitting there. But Bolton's a bad, bad guy,
- 40:29Speaker 2: and he did steal classified documents, as did Joe Biden.
- 40:33Speaker 2: He was caught with seven thousand stolen classified documents in
- 40:37Speaker 2: his house. When he took them, he was a senator,
- 40:41Speaker 2: no authority to take them. The others he took when
- 40:44Speaker 2: he was vice president, and his vice president, you have
- 40:46Speaker 2: no authority to take them. Trump, who did not have
- 40:50Speaker 2: classified documents in Marlago, they really found nothing. They found
- 40:53Speaker 2: thirty five sort of classified. If you put him in
- 40:57Speaker 2: a folder, it's one inch of one box that was
- 41:00Speaker 2: even considered classified documents. But they're not classified because Trump,
- 41:05Speaker 2: as president, has the authority to take the documents. He's
- 41:09Speaker 2: the one that's classifying them. He's the President's up to
- 41:12Speaker 2: him what's classified, and he could unclassify anything at any time.
- 41:16Speaker 2: So if that had gone to a real court, all
- 41:18Speaker 2: of that would have come out. Same thing happened to
- 41:20Speaker 2: Bill Clinton when he was caught with classified documents. It
- 41:23Speaker 2: went into a real court and he pointed out, I'm
- 41:25Speaker 2: the president and I unclassified them. He has every right
- 41:28Speaker 2: to do that, and Clinton won the case in court,
- 41:31Speaker 2: as Trump would have. So Hey, CBS Scott Pelley, despite
- 41:37Speaker 2: his sanctimonious nonsense, was a fake news guy. He ran
- 41:41Speaker 2: lots and lots and lots of fake news and CBS. Unfortunately,
- 41:45Speaker 2: Sixty Minutes went all to hell about ten years ago
- 41:49Speaker 2: and became I guess because of Trump. They went crazy
- 41:51Speaker 2: because of Trump, and they became a fake news organization
- 41:54Speaker 2: and they were running lots of fake news. It was
- 41:57Speaker 2: really really ugly fake news news. They made up that
- 42:02Speaker 2: whole fake Ron Desanta scandal that didn't exist. He could
- 42:05Speaker 2: have explained it in one second. They wouldn't let him
- 42:07Speaker 2: on the air to explain it. They wouldn't include him
- 42:10Speaker 2: in the piece. They lied about Hunter Biden's laptop, laptop,
- 42:15Speaker 2: They lied about Trump and the wire tap. They said
- 42:20Speaker 2: he wasn't wire tapped in Trump Tower. Of course he was,
- 42:23Speaker 2: and it was proven. Remember they doctored up the Kamala
- 42:27Speaker 2: Harris interview right before the election. When asked about Israel,
- 42:31Speaker 2: she couldn't answer and she mumbled out some ridiculous word
- 42:35Speaker 2: solid answer. Well, they cut it out and they stuck
- 42:38Speaker 2: in a good answer that they found from some other
- 42:41Speaker 2: interview and for another question. So they doctored up the interview.
- 42:45Speaker 2: They doctored up interviews with Biden to make him look coherent.
- 42:48Speaker 2: You can see it when you watch it as he's talking.
- 42:49Speaker 2: All of a sudden, you can see there's edits because
- 42:52Speaker 2: he lost his place and didn't know what he was saying.
- 42:53Speaker 2: They cut all that out, so it's just total fake news. Now,
- 42:57Speaker 2: when did CBS go really bad? It was really Dan Rather.
- 43:01Speaker 2: If you go back to the great Kronkite era, they
- 43:05Speaker 2: were always a little kind of left wing guys working.
- 43:07Speaker 2: They were always Democrats, and sometimes there was a little slant.
- 43:11Speaker 2: I mean sometimes they just put in a certain adjective
- 43:13Speaker 2: or something. But when Rather came in, it was total corruption.
- 43:18Speaker 2: They went total fake news. Remember it began when Bush Senior,
- 43:24Speaker 2: George H. W. Bush was running for reelection and it
- 43:28Speaker 2: was getting close to the election and he and Clinton,
- 43:30Speaker 2: well it was very close, so they were trying to
- 43:32Speaker 2: hurt Bush. So Rather decided they would open the Evening
- 43:36Speaker 2: News every night with a special feature called Economy in
- 43:41Speaker 2: Crisis and had this dramatic music. Every night they'd opened
- 43:44Speaker 2: the CBS Evening News our special feature Economy in Crisis.
- 43:49Speaker 2: It wasn't in crisis, but they did this every night,
- 43:52Speaker 2: five nights a week. Every broadcast they'd give you the
- 43:55Speaker 2: headlines of the thing and also coming up our special
- 43:57Speaker 2: feature Economy in Christ. All of a sudden, the election happens.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Clinton wins that night, the features gone there's no economy
- 44:06Speaker 2: in crisis. They dropped it that night, and it was
- 44:08Speaker 2: just total fake news. And you remember the famous confrontation,
- 44:14Speaker 2: George HW. Bush goes live on the CBS Evening News
- 44:17Speaker 2: with Rather and Rather, it's just mister fake news trying
- 44:21Speaker 2: to punch and beat up Bush. Although Bush fought back.
- 44:25Speaker 2: In fact, Bush fought back so strongly that a lot
- 44:28Speaker 2: of people think that's what turned it for him. That
- 44:30Speaker 2: was the first time he ran and helped get him elected.
- 44:33Speaker 2: But it was Rather that changed everything. You could do
- 44:37Speaker 2: whatever you want, you could make up stuff, you could lie.
- 44:40Speaker 2: It was Rather that push that whole fake story that
- 44:43Speaker 2: George W. Bush had gone a wall, which he didn't.
- 44:47Speaker 2: No truth to that, and to prove it he used
- 44:50Speaker 2: a forged fake document, total fake document. He got caught
- 44:56Speaker 2: with a fake, forged document from supposedly from some superior
- 45:01Speaker 2: officer about Bush going awall, and he actually ran this
- 45:07Speaker 2: work got him fired. When they investigated, they realized he
- 45:10Speaker 2: faked this document. And when he got caught, he found
- 45:15Speaker 2: some secretary or something from that National Guard office to say, well,
- 45:21Speaker 2: it may have been fake, but I think that's what
- 45:22Speaker 2: he would have written, and he put her on the air.
- 45:26Speaker 2: He used that as evidence, but he wouldn't put on
- 45:30Speaker 2: the air the guy's wife. The guy's wife had said
- 45:33Speaker 2: to them, I know him better than anybody. He loved
- 45:35Speaker 2: George W. Bush. He was very impressed with him. He
- 45:38Speaker 2: never went a wall. In fact, he said, George W.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Bush is one of the best guys he's got in
- 45:42Speaker 2: the Guard, one of the best pilots he's ever had.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Rather refused to put that on the air. So that's
- 45:46Speaker 2: when it changed, and Rather began that era of total
- 45:50Speaker 2: fake news. Recruited some of the worst people in the world.
- 45:53Speaker 2: He was running pretty much running the CBS News and
- 45:55Speaker 2: that leads to sixty Minutes going corrupt and Scott Pelley
- 46:00Speaker 2: and expect Leslie Stall to be gone pretty soon. Hey,
- 46:03Speaker 2: she's eighty five. It's enough eighty five years old. Expect
- 46:07Speaker 2: her to be gone at some point. So I read
- 46:10Speaker 2: to the Pelly statement. Here Variety, you know, a Variety,
- 46:15Speaker 2: the show business magazine, very slanted left wing. Here's the headline,
- 46:20Speaker 2: CBS News gutted sixty minutes on air, Team, can the
- 46:24Speaker 2: show really go on? Yeah, it'll be on this Sunday.
- 46:30Speaker 2: It'll beyond every Sunday, it's gonna be just what kind
- 46:32Speaker 2: of really go on? Of course it can go on.
- 46:35Speaker 2: You can do it without fake news. It is possible.
- 46:38Speaker 2: Here's a guy who's in the media world, a broadcasting guy.
- 46:45Speaker 2: He's not in the news business, in the entertainment. I
- 46:47Speaker 2: don't want to say who it is, friend of mine,
- 46:50Speaker 2: but this is on his Facebook, he writes. Two hundred
- 46:54Speaker 2: and fifty years of a free press was nice, but
- 46:58Speaker 2: with Ellis and his owner the part he's over, Yeah,
- 47:00Speaker 2: we have no more free press. These people believe this stuff.
- 47:04Speaker 2: They get themselves all worked up. He writes. It was
- 47:07Speaker 2: another backroom deal among the cabal of billionaires, and those
- 47:11Speaker 2: with their eyes on the ball could see it playing out,
- 47:14Speaker 2: along with the Colbert thing, the continuing attacks against Disney,
- 47:18Speaker 2: the attempt to silence Kimmel. Next stop unless somebody jumps in,
- 47:23Speaker 2: Allison will be owning Warner Brothers and CNN. And as
- 47:26Speaker 2: for you and the Maga crowd, assuming you can assimilate
- 47:29Speaker 2: all these words, they convince themselves that anybody for Trump
- 47:33Speaker 2: is uneducated, dumb, can't talk, can't think. Before you post
- 47:38Speaker 2: an opinion, you consider the facts that over half a
- 47:41Speaker 2: century sixty minutes was the top rated show of all
- 47:45Speaker 2: programs on TV. Yeah it's true. Yeah, sixty million, eighty
- 47:50Speaker 2: million people will watch it. Well, now it's four millions.
- 47:55Speaker 2: It is a bit of a difference. So you know,
- 47:56Speaker 2: when you've got sixty million people watching, you can charge
- 47:59Speaker 2: this much for the commercials. When you got four million,
- 48:02Speaker 2: you can charge eh, maybe this much. That's it. And
- 48:05Speaker 2: the ratings are down ninety percent. I don't know anything
- 48:08Speaker 2: anywhere and broadcasting where you could have your ratings down
- 48:13Speaker 2: ninety percent over ten years and not have management make
- 48:15Speaker 2: some changes. I have never heard of that in the
- 48:18Speaker 2: history of broadcasting. So you realize how nobody in the
- 48:25Speaker 2: world has ever taken themselves as seriously as Scott Pelly.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Boy does he take himself seriously? And remember that Jim Acosta,
- 48:33Speaker 2: who they threw the hell out of CNN talk about
- 48:36Speaker 2: taking yourself seriously.
- 48:38Speaker 13: You make no mistake. They don't care about the ratings,
- 48:40Speaker 13: they don't care about making money. This is an ideological
- 48:43Speaker 13: and partisan political project on the part of the Ellisons,
- 48:47Speaker 13: the Trump friendly Ellisons who now control Paramount, who by
- 48:50Speaker 13: the way, are trying to take control of WBD and
- 48:53Speaker 13: CNN and turn it into this giant media conglomerate that
- 48:57Speaker 13: will essentially act like a state media organization in support
- 49:02Speaker 13: of Donald Trump.
- 49:03Speaker 2: Yeah. First of all, as we said, the new owner,
- 49:05Speaker 2: David Ellison is not a political guy. He's not a Republican,
- 49:07Speaker 2: He's not anything. He's no interest in politics. His father's
- 49:11Speaker 2: Larry Ellison. He is I don't know if he's a Republican,
- 49:14Speaker 2: but he is friends with the president. But and Barry
- 49:16Speaker 2: Weiss is a Democrat, not a Trump supporter. She's a Democrat,
- 49:21Speaker 2: but a normal common sense Bill Clinton sort of a Democrat. Hey,
- 49:26Speaker 2: we'll take some calls next. Jimmy Faylor will be with
- 49:29Speaker 2: us in a few minutes. We'll take some calls next.
- 49:30Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 49:38Speaker 3: Welcome back to the Mark Simone Show.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Live from the WR Life Back Studio.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Hey, we'll take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 49:50Speaker 2: zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to Ron
- 49:53Speaker 2: and Pittsburgh.
- 49:54Speaker 6: Ron, how you doing, Hey, Mark, Hey, good morning to you. Hey,
- 50:00Speaker 6: thank you for letting me introduce. And that's to Jimmy Call.
- 50:03Speaker 6: He's gonna be coming on your show. I listen to
- 50:04Speaker 6: this guy. He explains everything said dagone good. I like
- 50:08Speaker 6: how we always these these hypocrite democrats, how they always
- 50:13Speaker 6: say something now and he'll say what they said a
- 50:15Speaker 6: couple of years ago. Play what they say now. They
- 50:18Speaker 6: flipped like a fish.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Well, he's great, he's gonna be on a few minutes.
- 50:21Speaker 2: I know, when was the last time you heard anybody
- 50:23Speaker 2: say the word dag gone? Say that again? I'm sorry, No,
- 50:26Speaker 2: it's good. I like that, it's very good. No, it's
- 50:30Speaker 2: a good words. I thought I was watching it. Last
- 50:32Speaker 2: time I heard that word was a gun smoke episode.
- 50:34Speaker 6: But yeah, I like gun smoking. Aren't these people hypocrites?
- 50:39Speaker 6: I mean, big time.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Hypocrites, democrats, hypocrites.
- 50:42Speaker 6: Oh my god, you're gonna you're gonna vote for a
- 50:45Speaker 6: guy and has a Nazi thing on his chest and
- 50:48Speaker 6: you're get on pete. Heapsss were across. I mean, I
- 50:51Speaker 6: just I just they just they blow my mind.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Who's that talking back there?
- 50:56Speaker 6: That's my wife, she's my patriots.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Yeah, never stops talking right now, you don't have to answer.
- 51:05Speaker 2: The witness may step down now.
- 51:07Speaker 6: Thank you in trouble.
- 51:09Speaker 2: Thanks for going. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike,
- 51:12Speaker 2: how you doing, Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 51:16Speaker 12: I get a kick out of these liberals who are
- 51:19Speaker 12: now defending companies like Disney, who, not that long ago,
- 51:22Speaker 12: was the evil empire to them because of their wholesome,
- 51:25Speaker 12: homespun product that they put out. Now, all of a sudden,
- 51:29Speaker 12: they're the endangered species. And they also act as if
- 51:33Speaker 12: you know, sixty Minutes or Scott Pelley or any of
- 51:36Speaker 12: these shows that the first shows ever in the history
- 51:37Speaker 12: of television to get canceled. It's you know, they canceled
- 51:41Speaker 12: the since Caesar Show. They canceled you know, you know,
- 51:45Speaker 12: millions of.
- 51:45Speaker 10: Shows right exactly, what's my line?
- 51:54Speaker 12: You name it? All these classic shows, leave it to
- 51:57Speaker 12: Biaber got canceled. You know, they all like zact Martyrs.
- 52:00Speaker 2: Well, okay, which is nothing. Nothing's canceled. Sixty Minutes has
- 52:04Speaker 2: five hundred different correspondents through the years. They're just changing
- 52:07Speaker 2: a couple exactly exactly.
- 52:10Speaker 12: And I wish Trump was as powerful as they portray
- 52:12Speaker 12: him to be, you know, I wish he was that powerful.
- 52:15Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, good point, Mike, thanks for calling. Listen.
- 52:18Speaker 2: They're gonna get rid of Scott Pelly. They'll probably get
- 52:21Speaker 2: rid of what's her name, Leslie Stall. They'll put in
- 52:24Speaker 2: somebody else, it doesn't matter. This is not as bad
- 52:27Speaker 2: as when they switched to Darren on Bewitch. That was
- 52:31Speaker 2: more upsetting. That was that was traumatic. This is different.
- 52:34Speaker 2: Let's go to Kevin in Mystic. Where's that Mystic, Connecticut?
- 52:39Speaker 14: Oh?
- 52:40Speaker 2: Yes, very beautifully got that new De Lamar hotel there,
- 52:43Speaker 2: don't you. Yeah?
- 52:44Speaker 14: Indeed next to the seaport.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Yeah, and uh a beautiful place.
- 52:49Speaker 6: Yeah, you have a great show.
- 52:51Speaker 10: Mark.
- 52:52Speaker 14: Hey, I was wondering about sixty minutes. I haven't watched
- 52:57Speaker 14: the show much, but have they done any stories on
- 53:01Speaker 14: all the corruption in Minnesota with the fraud?
- 53:07Speaker 2: Excellent point. You know, they're so sanctimonious. They act like
- 53:10Speaker 2: they're the greatest under uncovering every they're the worst that
- 53:14Speaker 2: they got a billion zillion trillion dollar budget. They didn't
- 53:17Speaker 2: uncover any of that fraud. This kid, Nick Shirley a
- 53:20Speaker 2: dollar fifty in his own iPhone discovered it all. You're right,
- 53:23Speaker 2: where was sixty minutes on that? Good?
- 53:26Speaker 1: Well?
- 53:27Speaker 14: I hope they they continue their good work tracking down
- 53:31Speaker 14: all this fraud across America.
- 53:33Speaker 2: Oh you will, good point. Thanks for calling Kevin. Yeah,
- 53:36Speaker 2: Barry Weiss. If you're listening, get rid of everybody. At
- 53:40Speaker 2: sixteen minutes, just hire Nick Shirley. He'll he's done amazing
- 53:45Speaker 2: work uncovering fraud everywhere. Let's go to Bob in Connecticut. Bob,
- 53:49Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 53:50Speaker 11: Ah?
- 53:51Speaker 15: Mark?
- 53:51Speaker 2: Yeah, By the.
- 53:52Speaker 15: Way, it's corrupt. It's not Connecticut, they changed the name.
- 53:55Speaker 2: Well parts of it. Parts of it are corrupt. You
- 53:57Speaker 2: got water Berry, you got at the Bridgeport, you got
- 54:01Speaker 2: the heart for How many of those mayors have gone
- 54:04Speaker 2: to jail, A whole bunch of them.
- 54:06Speaker 15: Yeah, and a bunch of police have gone Well, actually.
- 54:09Speaker 2: You've had a couple of governors go to jail, right, Yeah, yeah.
- 54:13Speaker 15: So it's corrupt, but anywhere. I got a question for
- 54:16Speaker 15: you because on your news blurb it said this basketball
- 54:19Speaker 15: tournament is going to produce jobs in New York And
- 54:24Speaker 15: how long does this tournament take? Like two weeks?
- 54:27Speaker 2: Well, first of all, it's not a news blurb, it's
- 54:32Speaker 2: a newscast. You go down the hall there and you
- 54:35Speaker 2: make a right, there's an enormous newsroom a correspondence and right,
- 54:40Speaker 2: and the one doing it here right, that was Daria
- 54:42Speaker 2: Albinger was one of the great network correspondence for years
- 54:46Speaker 2: of ABC News.
- 54:48Speaker 15: Right anyway, blurb on the newscast, Yes, who's going to
- 54:53Speaker 15: create jobs? And if it's three weeks that it goes.
- 54:57Speaker 15: The only jobs I could envision being created or hookers,
- 55:01Speaker 15: muggers and pickpockets, and then when they have the money
- 55:05Speaker 15: from doing that, they can buy from the drug dealers
- 55:08Speaker 15: increase their job.
- 55:10Speaker 2: Where are you in Connecticut, Trumble? Yeah, see, that's why
- 55:14Speaker 2: Trumble's a beautiful place. I like Trumble. But you're like
- 55:19Speaker 2: when you come into New York, you're like on a truck,
- 55:21Speaker 2: like the Beverly Hillbillies kind of deal. You're New York
- 55:24Speaker 2: to use a scary place. It's not so bad.
- 55:27Speaker 15: No, I don't go to New York.
- 55:29Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, oh, you wouldn't even go. It's not bad
- 55:31Speaker 2: at all. It's look out the window. People are walking around.
- 55:34Speaker 2: It's fine. It's beautiful out there.
- 55:36Speaker 15: Uh yeah, and they're looking around.
- 55:38Speaker 2: Nobody's looking around. We're in Midtown Manhattan, perfectly safe here.
- 55:43Speaker 2: Nothing happens here, right, So.
- 55:45Speaker 15: What jobs do they say they're going to create?
- 55:47Speaker 2: Well, these uh, a lot of these people coming in
- 55:50Speaker 2: buying these two Are you talking about the World Cup
- 55:52Speaker 2: or the Knicks?
- 55:54Speaker 15: The Knicks.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Well, the Knicks. It's only two or three games. I
- 55:57Speaker 2: think I think they were talking about the World Cup.
- 55:59Speaker 2: That's a bunch of games. But people come from all
- 56:01Speaker 2: over the world and they spend a ton of money.
- 56:03Speaker 2: So if you're a restaurant, if you're a store, if
- 56:06Speaker 2: you're something, you got to go even a hotel, you
- 56:08Speaker 2: got to go out and hire extra people for those
- 56:10Speaker 2: few weeks. It creates jobs.
- 56:13Speaker 15: Yeah, but for a few weeks, what does that really do?
- 56:17Speaker 2: Well, it's better than nothing.
- 56:19Speaker 15: Yeah, okay, all.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Right, calm down, calm down, take it all right. Well, anyway,
- 56:26Speaker 2: it's going to be uh when does the Knicks come
- 56:28Speaker 2: to New York Monday? The game is Monday night, Madison
- 56:30Speaker 2: Square Garden. The President will now also remember if he
- 56:34Speaker 2: comes to this game, God bless them, but they're going
- 56:38Speaker 2: to close all the streets. It's going to be a
- 56:41Speaker 2: traffic nightmare. And is it? When is the game eight thirty?
- 56:44Speaker 2: So it will come like Land about six thirty, be
- 56:48Speaker 2: right in the middle of Russia. It's going to be
- 56:49Speaker 2: a mess. Anyway, Hey, when we come back, the Great
- 56:52Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayala will be with us next on seven to ten.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Wr Marcellone nor.
- 57:01Speaker 11: Well.
- 57:01Speaker 2: Jimmy Fayla a great comedian, great talk show host, and
- 57:04Speaker 2: he does a wonderful show. If you listen to it
- 57:08Speaker 2: every night on WR you'll love it. It's nine to midnight.
- 57:11Speaker 2: If you haven't heard it, try it tonight. Jimmy Fayla
- 57:13Speaker 2: nine to midnight every weeknight. Here, Hey, and make sure
- 57:16Speaker 2: you watch his TV show. It's the best late night
- 57:19Speaker 2: show in television, Saturday nights at ten on the Fox
- 57:23Speaker 2: News Channel. You'll love it. Jimmy Fayla, how you doing?
- 57:27Speaker 6: You know what?
- 57:27Speaker 1: I'm good And I'm gonna cheow my horn.
- 57:28Speaker 3: For one second.
- 57:29Speaker 1: I did a big Oldzheimer's benefit last night at the
- 57:32Speaker 1: Gotham Comedy Club and they raised three hundred and eighty
- 57:36Speaker 1: five thousand.
- 57:37Speaker 3: For Alzheimer's research, which is great.
- 57:40Speaker 1: And let's all hope President Biden gets.
- 57:42Speaker 3: The carry he needs.
- 57:45Speaker 2: Hey, Jill Biden, are you impressed with the incredible, amazing
- 57:50Speaker 2: job she's doing on this book tour.
- 57:55Speaker 1: It's my favorite thing in the world.
- 57:57Speaker 15: Man.
- 57:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought he was having a so I brought
- 58:01Speaker 1: him on stage at a rally with five thousand people
- 58:04Speaker 1: and then we went.
- 58:05Speaker 3: To waffle House.
- 58:06Speaker 1: Mark.
- 58:07Speaker 3: You know this I love waffle House.
- 58:09Speaker 1: I look like I get paid in waffle house. But
- 58:11Speaker 1: nobody who's concerned about your health is bringing you to
- 58:15Speaker 1: a waffle house. Okay, we all know that. Okay, if
- 58:19Speaker 1: you're looking to work on your jiu jitsu at two
- 58:21Speaker 1: in the morning, you go to waffle house, you fight
- 58:23Speaker 1: the crazy guy, but you're not going there for outpatient care.
- 58:26Speaker 2: Come on, Jill, but she is really Have you read
- 58:31Speaker 2: the book? She really has nothing to say and it
- 58:34Speaker 2: goes out for three hundred twos.
- 58:36Speaker 6: It's interesting, you make.
- 58:37Speaker 3: The best point is usually they.
- 58:39Speaker 1: Say things to get you to buy the book and
- 58:42Speaker 1: what she's done instead, you know, they usually give you
- 58:45Speaker 1: dirt and juice, like she took a real high road
- 58:47Speaker 1: with Doug and Kamala. Kamala smoked Jill Biden her book
- 58:52Speaker 1: like for real. They said that they kept her stashed away.
- 58:54Speaker 1: They gave her all these BS assignments. Jill had it
- 58:57Speaker 1: out for her, like Kamala was trying now again. Kamala
- 59:01Speaker 1: was also in a tough spot because she had the
- 59:02Speaker 1: only book that began in chapter eleven.
- 59:07Speaker 2: But you're right and think about that. Usually you give
- 59:09Speaker 2: some juicy tidbits from the book nobody. She can't do it. No,
- 59:13Speaker 2: the publisher can't give you any there's nothing in the book. So, hey,
- 59:18Speaker 2: are you a big Knicks fan?
- 59:20Speaker 1: Oh, buddy, this is a wild time man, I have so,
- 59:25Speaker 1: you know. But you know I have paid and not
- 59:28Speaker 1: paid my mortgage from betting NBA basketball over the course
- 59:32Speaker 1: of the last thirty years. I was one of those
- 59:34Speaker 1: guys growing up, but obviously a huge New York fan
- 59:38Speaker 1: just in general. And I'm telling you what I've been
- 59:40Speaker 1: telling everybody. They're going to win. San Antonio is soft. Okay,
- 59:44Speaker 1: their star Wembagiana is French. He's soft. He is not
- 59:49Speaker 1: ready for Madison Square Garden. If they couldn't win a
- 59:51Speaker 1: mile from the river Walk where everybody's you know, they're
- 59:55Speaker 1: best buddies. They just got to follow the yellow brick
- 59:57Speaker 1: road to the basket. Okay. New York is gonna eat
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: that dude a lot like they're gonna win. I'm telling
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: you now, they're going to win, and I don't want
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: to be here when it happens.
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: It's gonna be a mess.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: Oh what do you mean. Oh, you're right, you're right.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: I didn't think about that. Well, hopefully they went out
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: of town. Oh, that doesn't matter. They'll still.
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: Now listen. I mean, let's give it this way.
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: If the next win and they wreck and they wreck Midtown, it's.
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: Not gonna look any different at this point. It will
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: be fine.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: Uh Hey, Once in a while through the you somebody
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: invite me to sit with them in their court side seats,
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: and I never go, I what is the Who the
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: hell would want to sit court side two inches from
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: these guys sweating all over you and bumping into you.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: What's the thrill of court side?
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: Well, it's the thing. It's a it's a C n
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: B scene, you.
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Know, place it's happening. Oh yeah, a lot of celebrities.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: There's a lot of good energy. I mean, you're mister
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: New York. So they're bringing you there as currency for
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: themselves and make them look cool because they're sitting with you.
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: And you know, again, you're letting you're you're lending your
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: name and your brand to that atmosphere because they believe
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: me you would be really appreciated that they'd love to
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: see you there, Like anytime I'm at one of these
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: games like that, they love.
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: It because, like you know, you're.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: A personality that's recognizable. So that's who's there. It's either
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: people like us who work in media that folks have
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: heard of, or people who make fifty times as much.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: Money as we do and nobody's heard of. You know,
- 1:01:21Speaker 3: they have a good racket.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: Though I'm not telling you that's they got the better deal. Probably.
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: You know, if you're the CEO of a company, I
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: have to google. No one's making you sign something at
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: the urinal. Okay, I'm gonna word a different way.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: Yeah, but courts they literally crash it. You know, I
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: like sitting in the front of the Yankee game, but
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: I don't want to sit in chairs along the first
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: baseline or get it.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: But you know what you'd be used to people slamming
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: into if you rode.
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: The subway more. I don't know what to tell you.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Yeah, so hey, but what is the betting? Is the
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: betting in favor of the Knicks right now?
- 1:02:00Speaker 3: So here's the deal.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: The Spurs were the favorites to win the series before
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: it's started. Yeah, and now it's close to an even
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: money bet. A lot of people think the Knicks can
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: win this thing. So you got you know, you're gonna
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: have some real intensity when this series gets back to
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: the garden Monday night, and you're gonna have the Trump
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: Man there.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: Did you see that?
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, But I don't know.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: It's not gonna be like a UFC fight where he
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: walks into a standing ovation. I think he's gonna be
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: in a luxury box. But I would expect the crowd,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: in all honesty, they're probably gonna either cheer him or
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: be predominantly cheering him, because the fans are there to
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: win a game, and the game is so much more
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: important when you haven't won in fifty three years than
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: the politics.
- 1:02:48Speaker 6: So I would actually expect if he.
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: Was going to a game in you know, the middle
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: of May or March or whatever, you know, you might
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: see a little more activism out of the crowd. I
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: genuinely don't expect it. I do not expect him to
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: get boot in the garden, not of the guy who's
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: been going to Knicks games his whole life. Like, for real,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: he's been.
- 1:03:04Speaker 3: To a lot of next games.
- 1:03:05Speaker 6: He's he's chased.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: More loose balls than James Tallavico. Come on, man, god, everybody, Okay.
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: Uh hey, Scott Pelly, the biggest pompous ass in the
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: history of broadcasting. You know, I'm reading the variety variety,
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: this left wing Hollywood thing that says, with the firing
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: sixty minutes, can it go on? Yeah, what do you mean,
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: kenn it go on? It'll be on Sunday night. It
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: just fun.
- 1:03:34Speaker 3: He was such an arrogant jackass. And again, everybody.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: Who's trying to make this something else, like, oh, the
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: freedom of speech, you're President Trump. Okay, Well then you
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: go into your boss's office in front of the whole
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: staff and curse him out and let me know how
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: that goes. Okay, It's like everybody's conveniently leaving out the
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: most important part of this story that he trashed his
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: boss in front of the whole company, video taped it
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: and handed.
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: It to the New York Times.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: I don't care where people are listening right now. There's
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: not a single person in a single profession that can.
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: Do that and hold on to their job.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: So apparently they called him in the next day in
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: private just to air this out. Yes, and he did
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: it again. So do you think you think he was
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: deliberately doing this to get fired and go out as
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: a martyr and then maybe that way you get some other.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: Job, because he thinks doing this gives him integrity because
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: he thinks this is like a journalistic stand And what
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: a lot of people that are in that little left
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: wing bubble don't understand is.
- 1:04:39Speaker 3: No one takes them seriously.
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: Like people know sixty minutes lies, they know they edited
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: commonly interviews they've seen.
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: I mean that one of the most.
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: Egregious things he ever did, Pelly is if you ever
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: watch him, he was interviewing the Moms for Liberty, and
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: the Moms for Liberty were a group that didn't want
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: sex books in kindergarten.
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: So they formed a group to say, hey, can we
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: something about the curriculum.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: We don't need kindergarten kids, because let's be clear, anybody
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: who wants to read a sex book to a kindergartener
- 1:05:06Speaker 1: shouldn't be allowed around a kindergartener.
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: I think it's pretty straightforward, okay.
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: But the point is Mom's for Liberty.
- 1:05:12Speaker 3: You're making that case.
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: If you watch the video, Okay, he just starts voicing
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: over their comments.
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: He's like, so, uh told me a little bit about
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: your group.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: And she's like, well, we were formed because there were
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: sex books in our kindergarten, and he just starts talking
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: over them to voiceover they seem to be regurgitating a
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: lot of MAGA talking points. I'm like, does did anybody
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: hear the part about the books and the kids, because
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: that's not maga, that's humanity.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: But that's who he was. And they all think just
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: two things. They think they're better people than the rest
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: of us, but they have some moral high ground, and
- 1:05:47Speaker 1: they think because he was even in TV too long. Okay,
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: the game changed, like the era of you make twenty
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: million dollars a year to cover two stories a month
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: and you can talk down to your boss in front
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: of people TV.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: He ain't that anymore.
- 1:06:01Speaker 6: Mark.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: You know, TV is a lot of things. It is
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: not nineteen eighty. It is not nineteen seventy. Okay, in
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: twenty twenty six you were on the wrong side of
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: supply and demand.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: If you work in TV, you should know that.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: The good point maybe if you're a Milton Berl in
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: nineteen forty and a nineteen fifty you could do that
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: to NBC since you were the only hit show they had.
- 1:06:21Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: But hey, you're a big TV star out big radio start.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: Could you ever imagine taking yourself that? Seriously?
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: No, that's what I don't get because nobody wants.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: To be around that person. And when you're doing TV
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: and doing radio, we are company. Everybody listening right.
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: Now, whether they're commuting, they're already work, they're listening at home,
- 1:06:44Speaker 3: they're out in.
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: The morning walk, we're hanging out with them. We're there company.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: And would you really want company who comes over and
- 1:06:50Speaker 1: just tells you he's better than everybody all day? It's
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: horrible and like, I don't know how they don't know that,
- 1:06:56Speaker 1: but they don't know that. So it's funny to watch
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: this play out because the people sending him are basically
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: telling you that what he did was okay, you know,
- 1:07:03Speaker 1: like Jake Tapper is acting all surprised, but this is
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: this is the same guy who wrote a book about
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: the cover up of Joe Biden's cognitive decline, like it
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: was the OJ Confession book.
- 1:07:13Speaker 6: Tapper, He's the guy.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: I can't believe the media nobody was onto this. I'm like,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: as you defended.
- 1:07:18Speaker 6: Him every night, you fraud.
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Hey, Jimmy Fayla listener writes a question. I love it
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: when he says it, but ask him well, he always says,
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: hey girl, where did hay girl come from?
- 1:07:31Speaker 1: Oh? You want to laugh? That is actually how me
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: and the women of Fox News talk about talk to
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: each other. We don't entirely know why, but we think
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: it's based out of like the Cat Colling era in
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: New York City, and that was like a viral issue.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: So I always walk around in the hallways at Fox
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: and I'll be like, hey girl, and a lot of
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: women like Kennedy or Dana Perino and Martha will be like,
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: hey girl, And that's like a thing. Now, Yeah, I
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: just do it as a joke, but that's funny. I'm
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: glad they wanted to know.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: It's very catchy. So Jimmy Fayla, you got to you

- 1:08:16Speaker 1: we living in a country where we can ship the
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: president of Venezueli here in less than six hours, but
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: we need two weeks to count votes.

- 1:10:01Speaker 2: all the top Democratic leaders behind closed doors, and they
- 1:10:05Speaker 2: said they're getting ready to throw them out. But they said,
