- 0:25Speaker 1: 19.4 Dear Lord, it is comforting that even a mighty
- 0:33Speaker 1: prophet like Elijah felt crushed and depressed. It is even
- 0:38Speaker 1: more comforting that you tended to him gently and restored
- 0:43Speaker 1: him with comfort, connection, and calling. Minister to my heart
- 0:50Speaker 1: in the same way. When I am at my lowest,

- 2:28Speaker 2: journey into the wilderness and came and sat down under
- 2:31Speaker 2: a juniper tree and he requested for himself that he
- 2:34Speaker 2: might die and said, it is enough now, O Lord,
- 2:39Speaker 2: take away my life for I am no better than
- 2:42Speaker 2: my father's. Let us take time to adore God. Blessed

- 3:08Speaker 2: is always willing to receive me when I call on you.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Accomplishments do not grant exemption from depression. Successful people still
- 3:20Speaker 2: get depressed Elijah had just achieved one of the greatest
- 3:25Speaker 2: biblical milestones. He prayed and God answered his call with
- 3:31Speaker 2: fire from heaven. In doing so, God proved his sovereignty
- 3:36Speaker 2: before Israel in Babylon and established Elijah as his prophet. However,
- 3:42Speaker 2: in the immediate aftermath of this glorious experience, Elijah gave
- 3:47Speaker 2: in to fear of Jezebel's retribution and ran away. While fleeing,
- 3:53Speaker 2: he found himself so overcome by heart sickness that he
- 3:57Speaker 2: asked for death. In life, you will experience both ups
- 4:02Speaker 2: and downs. You will have moments of triumph and joy
- 4:06Speaker 2: and moments of fear and despair. That's just a part
- 4:11Speaker 2: of life. The secret to survival, though, lies in trusting God.
- 4:18Speaker 2: So take this moment to confess your doubt to the Lord.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Tell him of your trials and your fears. Now take
- 4:30Speaker 2: a moment to dwell on the compassion of God in
- 4:33Speaker 2: your life. Thank your heavenly father who sees your struggle
- 4:38Speaker 2: with depression. He will uphold you through these hard times.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Think of how he tenderly reaches out to you. Remember
- 4:49Speaker 2: how his kindness will never leave you. Regardless of where
- 4:54Speaker 2: you are or what's going on. Thank God for all
- 4:59Speaker 2: His love over your life. And thank Him because He
- 5:03Speaker 2: will always care for you. God is present and He

- 5:31Speaker 2: from receiving His. Ask God to teach you to depend
- 5:36Speaker 2: on Him. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you to
