- 0:00He scares everyone to talk to him.
- 0:01You're nervous to approach him because you're nervous.
- 0:04What is he going to say? Oh, you're yelling at me for
- 0:06saying the wrong thing. All that type of stuff.
- 0:08That's another kind of arrogance.
- 0:10These are the simple ones. Then there's deeper arrogance
- 0:12with certain people who make it seem like they don't care about
- 0:15anything. That too can be an arrogance,
- 0:18but it's coming from the mindset that they think they're so
- 0:20special. They're above the accolades of
- 0:23the simple people around them. They make everyone seem small
- 0:25around them and therefore in their minds.
- 0:27I don't even need to get respect 'cause I'm so impressive.
- 0:30That too can be arrogance. And he says, I know I'm giving
- 0:35you deep ideas of arrogance and I know that it could be that
- 0:40this is not noticeable. But let's be clear.
- 0:43All these people, they end up showing themselves and choose
- 0:47those eventually. They can't hold it in too long.
- 0:50Von Nam the game KLA, you should know all these kinds.
- 0:53Alva Bishala, Khurram Marie Matzmam a Naveen.
- 0:56Even though some of these people show themselves to be humble,
- 1:02there will be no shortage of stumbling blocks that will
- 1:06therefore reveal their true arrogance.
- 1:09She believed the atom without them even noticing.
- 1:11What's going to happen without them noticing is that that their
- 1:18real true trait, which is that they they follow themselves,
- 1:22will come out to a storage house filled with straw packed in and
- 1:32there are holes in the walls. What happens?
- 1:34The straw starts to peek through the holes.
- 1:37The arrogance of some person who's sketching himself with
- 1:40sketching the world to carry himself humbly when he really
- 1:43truly is not, is going to be the same way.
- 1:46He's going to be suppressing his arrogance, acting as if as if
- 1:49he's humble, but in reality, it's all going to come out.
- 1:51Mashallah bite by ABBA by Torin in the home as holes.
- 1:57They are Tevin and the straw was stuck into the holes.
- 2:03The straw over a couple of days will eventually start to peer
- 2:06through and peek through and poke through.
- 2:08Should have a talk all the time. It's going to come out.
- 2:12Do I know people who are humble that eventually who are humble
- 2:16act humble? They're really arrogant.
- 2:17I actually know, sadly to say quite a few yes and you don't
- 2:23realize it. We're trying to understand, but
- 2:25a person, this one, I kind of have a hard time.
- 2:28Yes, it's it's hard to notice. I'll tell you the truth.
- 2:32You don't really notice. You know something, people are
- 2:34arrogant to you. The arrogant guy is a simple,
- 2:38very clear picture. This guy who yells guy gets
- 2:41angry. A guy who was, you know, tough
- 2:43and intimidating. That's the basic guy.
- 2:46There's much let's be ready clear.
- 2:48Let's go backward, people arrogant because people really
- 2:52step one. Everyone wants to feel relevant.
- 2:55That's a fact. Of course the board, we all want
- 2:57to feel relevant. I don't care if you rich or poor
- 2:59and if you're successful, not successful.
- 3:01Everyone wants to be relevant and that's all fair.
- 3:03Certain people need to create their relevance.
- 3:07Certain people are comfortable knowing skin and they have that
- 3:10relevance naturally, but other people need to create their
- 3:13relevance. Now every person knows I got to
- 3:17create their relevance. There's different ways of me
- 3:19getting that done. Some people I'm going to be
- 3:22super hoardy and loud and scary and intimidating, the basic kind
- 3:27and that'll be my way of existing.
- 3:29Good. That's the basic guy.
- 3:31It's simple. And there's another guy who's
- 3:34smarter. This guy is more intelligent and
- 3:39he really exactly, he realizes that the nasty kind is not well
- 3:43liked. Let me go and be the well liked
- 3:47kind of person and then live. Exactly.
- 3:51Now what does he do? Yeah, it's like the phony.
- 3:53So what does the phony do? He creates A persona that's very
- 3:56well liked. He knows the business.
- 3:58He knows that people love people who are kind and soft.
- 4:04So he carries himself in that same way.
- 4:06OK, I'm not trying to describe a creep.
- 4:08I'm trying to describe a very a smart person.
- 4:12But he's still, he's an actor. Sure is.
- 4:15He's definitely an actor. So what is he doing?
- 4:17He's creating a persona of humility.
- 4:20No, I don't care. Nothing bothers me.
- 4:22No, you, you don't insult me. I don't nothing insults me
- 4:25'cause he's he's winning friends over this way how to wins friend
- 4:28and influence people right? He's following the book.
- 4:31Problem is he never worked on his character at all.
- 4:34So his character remained the exact same thing.
- 4:36I, his character underlying is I need to be relevant.
- 4:39I need to exist. I mean, I deserve to exist.
- 4:43I've let that blow a little more, he says to himself.
- 4:46I'm special. If you add the combination of
- 4:49I'm special combined with the fact that I'm very intelligent,
- 4:54right, The combination ends up being I believe I'm special.
- 4:58But I know the method to being seen as special is to carry
- 5:04myself in a humble way. And you have the most ugly mix.
- 5:08The most ugly mix is a faker who carries himself humbly but
- 5:13really is arrogant. And I'm making this person sound
- 5:16like he's a real creep. Really, what he is, is a person
- 5:19who's very smart. OK, It does not noticeable so
- 5:23often. How would you see to suppress
- 5:26him? Truth of the matter is, such
- 5:28people really exist more in leadership roles.
- 5:33You don't see them in regular roles.
- 5:35Because in a regular role, if you carry yourself humbly,
- 5:38you're not going to be noticed. And your intelligent approach,
- 5:42your calculated approach will never succeed if you're in the
- 5:46leadership role and you do this trick.
- 5:50You know what people say, oh, that rabbi, I rabbi, that
- 5:55president, he's the nicest guy in the world.
- 5:58He never says a word or that tie, that, that leader, that
- 6:01head, that person, that wealthy guy, all those kind leadership
- 6:06roles, how are they run into this?
- 6:08And many such people in the leadership roles that carry
- 6:10themselves nicely, most of them are really all humble because
- 6:14it's difficult to really try to be this calculator.
- 6:17It takes worse. It takes a level of, of
- 6:20intelligence and level of self-control actually to end up
- 6:25this way. But there are such people.
- 6:27And we run the risk of being that guy.
- 6:30We run the risk of being that guy, not our entire life, but at
- 6:34times. We run the risk of being the
- 6:37person who are both humble hourly but truly is arrogant.
- 6:44That's our risk, right? This arrogant person will not be
- 6:53able to hide himself. He won't be able to really
- 6:56squash this approach. Over time.
- 7:03He'll be able to tell from his actions what he really thinks of
- 7:07himself and what he wants others to think of him.
- 7:11Him. Everyone will eventually realize
- 7:18that their ways are conducted with counterfeit humility and
- 7:22deceitful self effacement. You ever have a guy who makes
- 7:26fun of himself? You know people make fun of
- 7:28themselves. Yeah.
- 7:29How about you make fun of them? What happens?
- 7:32Try that. Right.
- 7:35So you say one second I thought this guy is, you know, he
- 7:38doesn't care. All right.
- 7:39Doesn't work that way. Why?
- 7:41Because and then not to say also people are arrogant because he
- 7:46is, he is really using this trick again, a very calculated
- 7:54person knows how do you win over people?
- 7:56Make fun of yourself. People love a guy.
- 7:59Yeah, but listen to a press conference or a ball player goes
- 8:01arrogant. You can't stand here.
- 8:02Listen to a press conference, a ball player that makes fun of
- 8:04himself you love. He's smart.
- 8:07He knows I have to win over people.
- 8:09But that doesn't mean he's really truly humble.
- 8:13If someone would RIP would would say something to him the way he
- 8:16says something to himself, he'd be very hurt.
- 8:19And that doesn't mean that every person that makes fun of
- 8:21themselves has to be beaten down.
- 8:23But it does mean that clearly means that those jokes that he
- 8:27made about himself are not a a way of displaying true humility.
- 8:33What they are are calculated way to win over people.
- 8:37If someone follows that book, right, the Carnegie book and
- 8:43this element, if you try it with other people by displaying, you
- 8:45know, maybe you haven't worked at your character that is a very
- 8:49ugly person inside without realizing because he seems
- 8:53lovable. He seems likeable.
- 8:56He seems so kind. But the truth of the matter is
- 8:58he hasn't worked it through. And then his entire life inside,
- 9:03he's battling this feeling. How come some people hurt me?
- 9:06How come no one treats you properly?
- 9:07How come they talk to me that way?
- 9:08And you're one thing to yourself.
- 9:10I don't understand. This guy's such a nice guy, he
- 9:13claims, and he seems to guide himself so low key.
- 9:17He doesn't care about what people say about it.
- 9:18Why is he getting so, as I say, bent out of shape by the fact
- 9:22that someone's not giving him respect?
- 9:23If he doesn't answer, respect. Answer is he is this guy.
- 9:27He hasn't worked as a true humility.
- 9:30True humility is the sense that I do not deserve honor.
- 9:35True humility is a person that looks at himself and says all
- 9:38the jokes about myself. They're kind of true.
- 9:41That doesn't mean I'm a nobody. I'm a very confident person, but
- 9:44all the, the, the, you know, I make fun of the fact that I'll,
- 9:47I don't speak so clearly or I make fun of the fact that I
- 9:50don't know, my upbringing was funny.
- 9:51Whatever it is what other people use to make fun of themselves.
- 9:54If someone absorbs those jokes and he can handle them himself,
- 9:58beautiful guy, the best guy, the guy you want around.
- 10:01But if he just says them but can't take it, that's a guy.
- 10:05You know what I was saying? In school or high school days,
- 10:07you can't take it. You can't take the heat the the
- 10:10the expression is you could dish it out, but you can't take
- 10:12exactly that's the old expression that guy is about.
- 10:16This is about other people who is Harry Knight, but if he
- 10:18dishes out about himself, even that guy is a confusing guy.
- 10:22He's this guy, right? Feels like humor.
- 10:26By the way, it's old self that we're here.
- 10:29South African you is great so long as you really can accept
- 10:33the if you can't, then just another what somebody else,
- 10:36someone else saying similar things to you.
- 10:38It's hard to accept, right? What does that mean?
- 10:41I'll tell you what, it depends where it's come understood.
- 10:44Obviously who's who's saying understood someone's saying
- 10:47nasty. Some people do it with meanness,
- 10:52but some people do it where you could take it from that certain
- 10:55person. But some people just don't know
- 10:58any better what they're saying, right?
- 11:00Sure. So a humble person can let that
- 11:02fly. An arrogant person.
- 11:04Every time someone touches him with words, anything else, they
- 11:08jump at it. Are you saying this?
- 11:09I thought this guy was a nice guy.
- 11:11No, he's actually not worked out when it comes to his character.
- 11:15That's just the reality. The Mitsuga game Akrim.
- 11:19Let's see 239. The final kind.
- 11:22The final and most subtle manifestation of arrogance.
- 11:26Kivura. Billy Bum.
- 11:28The arrogance is very deep in the hearts.
- 11:30Loyalty. You are a Lamaze.
- 11:32It never shows itself. They believe in the heart that
- 11:41they are already so wise. No one is as smart as them.
- 11:47Is actually nobody like me. They never care what other
- 11:55people have to say. No one else has the same
- 12:05understanding as them. No one else is wise.
- 12:14Anyone who argues with me just doesn't know better.
- 12:19And Islam. They never debate their opinion
- 12:22and never actually question what they have to say.
- 12:24They're completely 1000% confident in everything they do.
- 12:28I there are those who argue, they don't.
- 12:30They don't reach my toes. OK, there's such a world out
- 12:34there. I actually know this world very
- 12:35well. In fact, I personally, if I had
- 12:39to find an arrogance of all these, I find myself closest to
- 12:44the last time. I'm not saying I'm arrogant or
- 12:47am I saying I'm humble, but I am saying that I find myself close
- 12:51because happens to be for life the last kind of the best kind.
- 12:55No one ever hurts you if you tell yourself you better than
- 12:57them. No one ever insults you.
- 12:59No one ever takes you down. You never get hurt, you never
- 13:02get insulty, never feel small if you tell yourself, oh, you all
- 13:05don't know better. Oh, they're all just whatever,
- 13:08right? That's a great way of doing
- 13:09things. But is that?
- 13:10A real thing because the only time you don't get offended by
- 13:15someone is if you're in your mind is beneath you.
- 13:19When the guys at your level right to an even peer or a guy
- 13:23even higher, I don't think it's really possible that you could
- 13:27really flick it off as nothing. Maybe you don't react.
- 13:31Good luck. Could you really?
- 13:33So you're asking, how do you startle the fence of being an
- 13:36easygoing person? And the way to be easygoing is
- 13:40to let things fly. The way you let things fly in
- 13:43the real world is by saying to yourself, doesn't matter what
- 13:46they have to say. Let's go deeper.
- 13:48I don't think they know anything that they're saying.
- 13:50They're not really worth so much.
- 13:51With this simple comic. You discount it.
- 13:53Usually the best way to discount it is to diminish the other
- 13:57person's words, which right now is bumping into the last kind of
- 14:00arrogance. It's a fairpoint.
- 14:02So the fully worked on person, fully worked on says to himself,
- 14:08I'm not going to diminish them. I'm not going to put them down.
- 14:11It's just not going to make a difference to me because my
- 14:14confidence or my lack of confidence does not depend on
- 14:19other people. That's a fully worked on person,
- 14:22correct? That's the best way.
- 14:25The other way, which many of us do, is that in order to avoid
- 14:28insults, we say it doesn't matter what he has to say.
- 14:30You know, come on, he doesn't know better.
- 14:33He's not that smart. He just off the cuff doesn't
- 14:37know what he's saying. That's a little bit of an
- 14:39arrogant approach to diminished person.
- 14:41That's what I do, person. That's what I do.
- 14:44So the best way is the real way to work on your own character.
- 14:48The second, the best way, but also possibly could bump into
- 14:52real arguments, is to discount what they have to say, to ignore
- 14:56what they have to say by pushing it down, by saying it's not
- 14:59important, it doesn't make a difference.
- 15:00They have to say, but at that point you need to be careful.
- 15:03And the careful is you could in the process build for yourself
- 15:07this perfect persona where you believe you always right through
- 15:12this method. It's very dangerous, the method
- 15:14of diminishing reality. People have to say and
- 15:16discounting their words by saying they don't know better,
- 15:19they don't really know what they're saying, all that stuff.
- 15:21It's healthy to protect you, but it could make you and your mind
- 15:26into perfect, perfect means. I never make a mistake because
- 15:29no one has anything to say about me.
- 15:31And then you can't develop exactly.
- 15:32You can't grow. You can't handle.
- 15:35In fact, the Madash writes a similar vein.
- 15:39There were two people. Another made a mistake as young
- 15:41people, I forget the names either was you or Natan.
- 15:45One of the people were that go ahead and got daughter went off
- 15:48the data from 80 years old was never getting Johan, someone who
- 15:53went to 8 years old. So they say that.
- 15:57Madar says one of the reasons he went over the path so late in
- 16:00life was because he was never, ever told he was wrong, never
- 16:04told he made a mistake. So when people do comment to us
- 16:08and they do say things, if you're able to handle and absorb
- 16:12at the same time, great. If the only method to deal with
- 16:15anyone else's comment is to diminish and to battle it away
- 16:20and therefore keep yourself protected but also arrogant, not
- 16:24so fine. That's not so good 'cause you
- 16:26can't develop. The best way to handle
- 16:28criticism, comments, recommendations, words about you
- 16:33is to absorb and then deflect, hear it and knock it out.
- 16:38Keep yourself strong, but at the same time be OK with those
- 16:43words. If you got to a point that
- 16:45everything that's comes your way is got to be bad enough, I could
- 16:48literally go home. Run.
- 16:50And that's your approach to keeping yourself not strong
- 16:54protected. That's a very big difference.
- 16:57Thinking about your children. I realize it's my own children.
- 17:00Thinking about your children, what do you want them to be?
- 17:03You want to be super confident. You want them to be very, very,
- 17:06very have great self respect and great confidence, but you don't
- 17:11want them to be protected. And if they're overly protected,
- 17:16they therefore become overly sensitive.
- 17:18And when they're overly sensitive, they'll remain super
- 17:21unnoticeable, super arrogant. Which means when someone says
- 17:26something to the utility and no one there to protect them once
- 17:30in a while, that's a good thing. It's OK.
- 17:33Even though it gets as very upset as parents, it drives as
- 17:35may someone says my kids something, it'd be very nervous.
- 17:39It does, but if they can handle it as soon as they can't because
- 17:43they can handle it and they can deal with it and they can handle
- 17:47a level of criticism or a joke or disrespect or something like
- 17:50that, then they become a strong and healthier people and also
- 17:55less irodies. Now if.
- 17:57We don't do that than this. Generation We are in a
- 17:59protective generation to. Watch us squirm and laugh and we
- 18:03thought he was like cruel and my wife right away she's to go like
- 18:09and I said the difference from my oldest son that she fought
- 18:11every battle when the rest of the planes at.
- 18:13Sea in with me. Let things go and it's so much
- 18:17better 'cause if not, you're gonna have to be around till 200
- 18:20years old to hide and imagine them through, you know, it's
- 18:22like, no. Consequences.
- 18:24Kids today have no consequences. They because of being protected.
- 18:28So they're protected. I see that all the but be there.
- 18:31I mean, they can't war fireflies for themselves.
- 18:34So nice. If you ever take them there,
- 18:36pick them up, take them with take them there.
- 18:38Yeah, I mean everyone. Like 40 years, like as a new
- 18:41character. About the seven a day where you
- 18:43were almost. That's right, answer their
- 18:45parents back and say. You know how to.
- 18:47Go get me this soda from the kid.
- 18:49No, What do you mean no? If I ever told my parents an old
- 18:52to get something to forget it. Got it.
- 18:54So every everything that's coming from good-natured parents
- 18:58is actually destructive. We wanted to so there.
- 19:01Yeah, there's some point we want we want right to you know when
- 19:06the Sarah says we wanted to we part it was in green.
- 19:09That's who we were. We saw them give to.
- 19:13That's crazy though. I see we gave.
- 19:17And so they're both. I was telling you all things
- 19:19that start. A lot of things that start from
- 19:21a good place eventually lead to a bad place.
- 19:25This is literally one of them. The protective nature that we
- 19:27have for our children, which is obviously coming from love,
- 19:30obviously coming from our own feeling that we don't want
- 19:32anyone to even lay a finger on them with words, ever.
- 19:36But there we AM. It just protected from the
- 19:38verbal abuse. At the same time, it makes them
- 19:41literally into tin cans and they cannot handle a thing.
- 19:46Now the other approach, which is let them get beat up also makes
- 19:50them, especially in the modern day when people are much more
- 19:52sensitive, it's also very dangerous.
- 19:54You have to have, I'm all learning this together.
- 19:56You have to have this combination of protective or
- 20:00hand off watching but also allowing certain things and it's
- 20:04that strength. Which, number one, makes them
- 20:07much more productive people in the real world, able to get
- 20:12married, able to have a family, able to work with other people,
- 20:16able to have friends because able to handle things.
- 20:19If you can't handle things, it's like my art to the doc.
- 20:22You become the weakest person. You can handle a little bit,
- 20:25become strong. So the things that come from
- 20:29good places can be very destructive and things they know
- 20:32and the alphas are beating people up.
- 20:33Also destruction. You have to straddle this fence
- 20:36in a very thoughtful way. I want to build my children up.
- 20:40I want to build myself up. How do I do the two of them?
- 20:43I'm protective, sure, but I'm also strong at the same time.
- 20:47I chosen the same thing, same goal.
- 20:49They're protected, absolutely, but they're also strong.
- 20:53How are they strong? They handle things, they deflect
- 20:56insults, they bounce back. They have a bad day and then
- 21:00they do at the level of resiliency and that's our goal
- 21:04to give them resiliency. We don't beat them up.
- 21:07We also don't. They create this perfect world.
- 21:10They are living in the world. I see it today.
- 21:12They live in the world and it's either perfect or bust.
- 21:16Imagine our world perfect or bust.
- 21:19One insult is a bad day. Bad weather is a bad day.
- 21:23And by the way, many of us as adults are trying to trying to
- 21:28create that carved out perfect world.
- 21:31All right, I was thinking about this over the holiday, really
- 21:33thinking about this because of the whole people a deal people
- 21:36are Brooklyn Hobbes. I told someone I told literally,
- 21:40it feels like a little perfection, A beautiful holiday,
- 21:43great weather, great. Everything was great.
- 21:45The learning was great, everything was amazing.
- 21:47And but you're looking for that little extra thing to make it
- 21:52over the top. You know what would happen if
- 21:54you had that? Actually to make it over the
- 21:55top, you had something else go wrong.
- 21:57Someone's isn't in Rome it would have rained something else
- 22:01going. It doesn't exist a perfect world
- 22:03and never has and never will. And if our children to grow up
- 22:07in that feeling. It's so destructive and so weak
- 22:11for them. You notice today something to
- 22:13say and definitely not going with a broad stroke.
- 22:19But it's it's true that there are young couples that don't
- 22:22last much more common now. Sometimes it's stories.
- 22:25We know that sometimes, a lot of times it's also this things go
- 22:29completely off the rails very fast because they haven't been
- 22:33able to do any level of insult and any level of things going
- 22:37wrong. We all know that the the
- 22:39beginning times do include some level of development.
- 22:45Let's be nice about that. When it's all it's all fake,
- 22:48even the dating it's like both sets of parents are dating each
- 22:51other, right the pair the. Sperry and they think
- 22:54everything. And happily ever after.
- 22:57Joe. Right and it's so sketch like
- 22:59now, right? They think I'm as noon, right?
- 23:02I told my son how much can you afford your apartment?
- 23:05He went looking around in the only basements.
- 23:09So I'm good with that, right? My wife is thinking about that.
- 23:14My son doesn't care either way and probably the consuegos are
- 23:17going to have an issue with that.
- 23:19But I think that's what I live in my parents house.
- 23:23I lived in the same bedroom where I grew up that when I got
- 23:26married I didn't have anything right.
- 23:28And my father said OK, that's what you can afford.
- 23:30Zero. Then you'll live 0 you.
- 23:34Know all right, all this stuff makes it stronger.
- 23:36It really, really does. Find me the guy Find me the guy
- 23:39who I say yeah, find me a person that had the silver spoon that's
- 23:44really enjoyable to be around. Find the person that has all
- 23:48worked out when they were children, having his hands to
- 23:51them. That's really is just so easy.
- 23:53Or to be able to really develop his own business.
- 23:55It's hard. That doesn't be if.
- 23:57You count the money in or? Yeah, you can.
- 23:59Exactly. You're right, not many and they
- 24:01have to have amazing parents. Much more aggressive than the
- 24:05serene kids. Second generation, show them the
- 24:07foreign kids. They're already opening their
- 24:09third business and they want to keep the world right.
- 24:12The serene kid, you have to wake him up to go to work so you
- 24:15could pay him. The American Why do you think
- 24:19exactly Why do you think you just go deeper?
- 24:21The holes. We need this work and the
- 24:25conversation. How about this?
- 24:27I never got paid working for my father until I got married and
- 24:31he opened my own store. I worked seven days a week,
- 24:35sorry, Rabbi, 16 hours a day for six months, a year.
- 24:40Whatever I wanted I got, but I never got a salary.
- 24:43Way to Myrtle Beach. Yeah.
- 24:45So my father used to hold my money.
- 24:47And let's say if I acted up in the end of August, that means he
- 24:49would Somebody OK, I'm not paying you.
- 24:51Not for the day. And it's releasing.
- 24:53He had saved. It goes 0.
- 24:55Right. So what does this stuff do?
- 24:57It makes us all stronger. Yeah, it seems tough.
- 25:00And yes, today if we do this on our kids, they would revolt.
- 25:03I got it. And I don't give my kid the
- 25:06scooter within 48 hours. It's a problem, but.
- 25:10I look back one day before yeah, it was there was a man there's a
- 25:13prominent man that yelled at my son in shul.
- 25:16How crazy must have been hassling.
- 25:18And I and I walk here knowing a different shul and I and I when
- 25:21I was your mother was growing up and and I came to protect him
- 25:25and I and I should have now looking back, I shouldn't have.
- 25:28The guy was Sham Shanayan. The guy was teaching him right.
- 25:31The kids neither beak, but as a parent you want to be there for
- 25:36them. But it probably wasn't the right
- 25:38move. Now that there is a way that
- 25:40someone else can recommend your child.
- 25:43Right. But when you see it in front of
- 25:44you sometimes like you want. To.
- 25:45Sometimes it's. Easier, but it's not.
- 25:47The right thing, so it's tricky only want to.
- 25:50Have the cavort. Are you yelling?
- 25:52At myself? What about an uncle?
- 25:54Smacking. His his nephew as a kid, I'm my
- 25:58father's brother. I was disrespectful.
- 26:00My uncle gave me a whack right and let me.
- 26:03Forget you know what happened to have to work for parents.
- 26:06For the family, Grace. As the on this nice child, the
- 26:10parents would be an all out literally brawl and and.
- 26:13And for the rest of my life, when I would be on the line,
- 26:15some of us, he'd, he'd pull my base like, like just a moment.
- 26:19All right. And, and it's tricky because we
- 26:21do grow up in a much more sensitive world and we do need
- 26:24to have Rezook and we need to feel good and all those things.
- 26:27So we have to figure out the balance.
- 26:28We have to be aware of the fact that the more we protect them,
- 26:33it's a possibility and a capability of becoming very,
- 26:38very sensitive. And therefore, yes, arrogant
- 26:41sensitivity and arrogance go hand in hand.
- 26:43No one notices that being super sensitive and being super
- 26:46arrogant is actually very well fit one in the same.
- 26:49Because you get insulted by everything that means you care.
- 26:51That means you believe you deserve to be treated perfectly.
- 26:54It's one in the same. And a person got to develop some
- 26:57level of thick skin and you build character.
- 27:00This is it. And you don't think this is part
- 27:02of the Tuda, by the way, You don't think that all this
- 27:04concepts are part of the Tuda? This is what a real person is.
- 27:07Some of them with the handle, resilient, strong, and therefore
- 27:11humble. It's one and the same.
- 27:13We'll stop with this.
