- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: off the charts are we we spare no expense on these tailgates so yeah if you want to come out 49ers rush road trip dot com uh you can see the dates the times the places the maps everything's on there um Dallas is going to be huge we got a vital moment coming to party with us for that one and so yeah 49ers rush road trip dot com now we are selling a lot at that tailgate so we will have to raise prices so don't wait if you are thinking about coming
- 2:57[SPEAKER_00]: Um, go ahead and do that now because we want to hire some more staff, um, which is a good thing.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_00]: Wonderful problem to have, but our expenses keep going up.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: So we try to get that 50 50.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, we try to get rich off.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody, we, we just trying to throw a great party for Niners fans to come out.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_00]: Party with us, kids free to everything.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: Always, kids welcome, always.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: And we even welcome Falcons fans.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: We'll allow that to take place too, Larry.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: Is there such a thing or they just George a fan's taking a day off?
- 3:26[SPEAKER_01]: My daughter lives in Atlanta and she's like dad the Falcons are to say their second second to the to the dog Doesn't even speak to it.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: But yes, check that out 40 nanarush road trip.com.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: The answer is no people saying why are you promoting this crew?
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: You're you're getting kickbacks.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm not getting kickbacks.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: John's a friend
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: and he's got the Ford Niner Rush road trip up in Rollin and we're going to try it when we go to Mexico City to hook up, we're going to try to be in Los Angeles.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: So we will be traveling with the Niners and of course in the playoffs, but it doesn't look like the Niners are going to be on the road for the playoffs right now, but we're just big fans with John does.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: So we're absolutely excited to promote that for, for John every time.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, absolutely, absolutely.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's get to the 49ers.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this was an amazing game.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: I have not talked to you since the Seattle game, but the 49ers were amazing on offense, defense, special teams.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_01]: It was really a great top to bottom performance.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: I called the stream, we titled the stream, what the 49ers need to do with Rahim Morris.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: And I was, I was, if you Google,
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, you know, it's a report salary.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's a $15,000,000 contract with the Falcons in January of 2024, which paid him an annual salary of $4 million a year, our $150,000 a week.
- 4:50[SPEAKER_01]: It was a five year deal signed in 2024.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_01]: They fired him in January of 26 with three years remaining on his contract.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: and left and basically owed him roughly $12 million in guaranteed money.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure how that works if you've got all 12 mil if or if it's offset.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: I would have the Niners are paying him.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'd have to do some research on that.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: But John, I've seen enough.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: All the young DBs are playing well.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: The Niners have had five different coordinators in the last five years.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think of really smart move right now.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: You see, what can the Niners do to position themselves?
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm not, I'm not about giving Keyon White an extension right now.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'll wait on some of the players.
- 5:35[SPEAKER_01]: But for Raheem, to me, he is such a perfect fit.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_01]: And when I asked him, Shanahan about him, he's like, hey, we wanted this guy in 2017, but we couldn't get him.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_01]: And he's like, Shanahan's like, I like what he's added to our team.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: I like how how much the young defensive backs have developed.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_01]: Um, why not just say to Rheem, here's a five year 20 million dollar contract to be the defense coordinator by out as free agency.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: There is no cap on what you pay assisting coaches.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: Who cares if you pay him a million or two too much?
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: You've had five different defensive coordinators in the last five years.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle Shanahan doesn't want to be on the defensive headsets.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_01]: He wants to have total faith in a guy.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: He needs his spags.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_01]: Readhead spags.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle has Morris.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's a perfect fit.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: We all thought it would be a good fit.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: We're wrong.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's been a great fit.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: Um, this is the right time right now, offer him five years, 20 million and see if he takes it.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: And if that's not enough, then up you're offer because what this guy means to them as far as his personal evaluation is to, I mean, try your Browns a player, stouts a player, greens a player, Seagulls a player, Mustafa is a player.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: None of these guys were, were real big time players until Reem showed up.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: Now, they were good, but they're not, they've all improved, um, the, the, the, the, the, the, the
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: the rush plan of front works.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think the staff gets a long well together.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see any reason they shouldn't extend Raheem and aggressively try to get this done.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm talking about like right now in the present before Thanksgiving, I'd sign this guy doing extension.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: I do not want the matter's going to get nothing but pub.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_01]: People are going to be knocking on his door.
- 7:20[SPEAKER_01]: Does he want to be the head coach again, a third time around with a bad team and move his family
- 7:28[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle Spaggs in when two or three rings in the next five years.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_01]: I say offer him a big money deal.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: And let's get it done.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think?
- 7:36[SPEAKER_00]: A hundred percent.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_00]: A Rahim Morris has been the best defensive coordinator in the Kalashanian era.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_00]: And that's saying a lot with names like Demiko Ryan's Robert Sola twice.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to say Nick Sornson or Steve Wilkes, but I just did, I guess.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_00]: Reem was a former NFL head coach, so it's like, I mean, so we had a top three defense with him.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: Why was here?
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: Just him and Kyle, they get along, but a big reason why they didn't get along was Kyle didn't work with him beforehand.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_00]: That is not true with where he was.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_00]: They have worked together throughout the majority of their careers.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: They are best friends.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: Kyle, Shannon had got arrested because of how much he has adhered to Reem Morris, shout out to Michael Silver.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to get into that old story.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_01]: There is wasn't really being racially profiled back.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: He was.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_00]: It was an Indianapolis.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_00]: They walked out of a coffee shop.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: They were still kind of, you know, low men on the totem pole picking up coffee.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: And the cops just like, ransacked, you know, tackle them.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever else, Kyle jumps in there.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: They take Kyle down and handcuff him.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: It was all just a major misunderstanding.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: But like,
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: this is a relationship that goes back, back, back, back, back for a while.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: And even before, like you talked about how the 49ers tried to hire Raheem Morrison 2017, Kyle said multiple times.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_00]: Every time they played the books or every time they played the Falcons,
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: He's one of my favorite coaches in the league, he would be the first call if I could choose a head coach like Kyle adores this man and now the 49ers faithful the fandom they love him as well the the proof is in the pudding might my favorite kind of microcosm of Rahim Morris is 10 years only been five games so far
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: You have Nick Juan Jones, Sebastian Valdez, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a, a,
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: And so you're getting just so many great results.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if I'm going to bring the nuance to it, I would say that's like, I think Jed still suspended.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not sure you could really negotiate that contract right now, but I am all for it because keep this together.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's working and the players love it.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Fred Warner's playing as well as he ever has.
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: Drake Reno's playing as well as he ever has.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like you talked about, Jaiya Brown, Jaiya Brown's playing quality football.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: It has been years since that has been the case.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, I would also be remiss about it and say the entire defensive coaching staff from Jerry Gray to KJ Wright to Chris Saryck,
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: Johnny Hall it like there are guys out there coach Brown with the corners like this is just perfect and I'm all for locking it up because these these coaching contracts don't count against the cap.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's just the owner's money.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: How many coaches get three head coaching opportunities?
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: Not many
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: not many.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_00]: And you brought up SPAC shoot, SPAC still interviewed for head coaching chops is recently as two years ago.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: He's still trying to get that extra opportunity, but just has it really worked out.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_00]: So man, if there is any way to keep our him, I hope he is here for for a very long haul.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy how quick this fan base went from Sala to Raheem and everybody just like this is better and it's not close.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: He's been amazing.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's been absolutely amazing.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_01]: The Niners lead the NFL in fewest explosives allowed.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: So his principles are very, very sound.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: When you can eliminate, when you're number one in the league, it minimizing explosives.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_01]: you know that that really shows to me I mean if you said give me a stat that shows that a guy's defense is sound it's how many big place because big pleasure busts generally right there's going to be a bust here or there haven't had any busts why have they not had any bust because they've got great communication
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: And everybody's in that's coaching.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: That's coaching and carrying it to the field.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_01]: We're also seeing guys develop.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Renardo Green was a second round pick, right?
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: And he's allowing the fourth low as passer rating and pass coverage this year.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: In the league, I mean, he, you know, they invested a lot of picks in the secondary.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_01]: And a lot of people are like, they're secondary sucks and it's like a winner second.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: Brown was a third round pick.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_01]: Green was a second round pick.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_01]: Seagull was a fourth round pick.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: Mustafa was a fourth round pick.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: You know, either your personnel department's no good, or you're not coaching them up, and now we found out they weren't coaching them up.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: Or maybe those guys just needed to age naturally, because a couple of those guys are now been in the league a few years, but right, um, I love what I'm seeing up front from Keon White.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: What a great trade that was by Lynch last year, and that's going to lead us to our next topic.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: But I love what I'm seeing with Ronaldo.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: Mustafa, I mean, how awesome was, dude, I, Mustafa is just, God of, he's like my new favorite player.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's just awesome, man.
- 12:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's just, he is just, I mean, for the people of my age, that's Ronny Lot folks.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: And people that will be younger, that's to Sean Golds and, you know, but in the Niners haven't had that truth thumper.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't just beat Seattle, they beat up Seattle.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_01]: And they hit, I mean, you got green law hits like a truck.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: Seagull hits like a truck.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: Now, you know, you've got this guy, Mustafa, Mustafa is just savage.
- 13:22[SPEAKER_01]: This is a, there's three or four guys on that defense that can generate a lot of speed in the short amount of time and watch out.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_01]: Watch out, I think the Ford nanners right now, I mean, Reemors is getting great play out of the safeties, brown, Mustafa, Seagull, they're all playing well.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: The corners have developed, the whole thing's coordinated.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_01]: You know, they're playing games up front because they need to.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_01]: They're getting it done with the JV squad on the D-Line, no offense to the guys in there.
- 13:49[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, no Bosa, you've lost six different guys and you're still out there, you know, putting together, you know, punch your hips on the quarterback and a bunch of pressure.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, sign with him.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's move to the second topic.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: The second topic is, Keon White last year, nobody was jumping up and down when that came across the
- 14:10[SPEAKER_01]: the ticker.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm not saying that people weren't happy.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_01]: There are football people like yourself who knew Key on White that were happy.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_01]: But for the rank and file person, they didn't know Key on White from Bob White from Sam White from, you know, they just didn't know him.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: He was he was a talented player, went in the second round out of Georgia Tech, wasn't a scheme fit in New England.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_01]: And credit lynching their scouts.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: They found a guy who was healthy, who's had a had contractual
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: And wasn't a scheme fit New England, but would be a scheme fit here, and he has been absolutely off the charts.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_01]: Seven pressures, 21% pressure rate.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_01]: Playing inside, playing outside, games up front, smart player, aggressive player.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_01]: Athletic enough to play defensive end, powerful enough to play defensive tackle.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's why he went in the second round, by the way, because he's a physical freak.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_01]: Steve Young when I can't be here today and said the Niners need to be all in, and I agree they need to be all in.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: And now that we're inside the window of the trade deadline within a month, there's a lot of people speculating on which player this guy can get him over the top.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: That guy.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: So I'll throw it to you, John.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_01]: What is the primary need?
- 15:26[SPEAKER_01]: Is it receiver?
- 15:26[SPEAKER_01]: Is it defense line?
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: Defense van?
- 15:29[SPEAKER_01]: Defense of tackle?
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: What is the primary primary thing?
- 15:33[SPEAKER_01]: And if you could fill, if I gave you, you could have three realistic, I would not have to be realistic.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_01]: Three names.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_00]: Who do you want?
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think white receivers got to be the biggest need now and long term, okay.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: You start there at the defensive inroom, the defensive tackle room, those are have been the three areas that just need some help.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: White receiver, I don't think that's going to change soon either.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: The problem, Cowshed hands offense is the most difficult for wide receivers in the NFL.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: It's the most complicated system, pre-stap, post-nap, option routes, reading coverage, got to play multiple spots.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's the hardest thing.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_00]: So now you've got to get a vet.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Jacob County still is having problems with the offense in year three.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's an issue.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: You see Brandon Cook's, one of the, you know, better vets in the NFL.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's played all over the,
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: NFL and different schemes, he struggled with it, you know, multiple penalties.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: He's getting there and catching up, but the wide receiver room is a mess.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: And even though Jacob Cowen has been bad and running around routes and whatever else, you can't move on from them.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_00]: Because now you don't have bodies.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_00]: Jordan Walken started last week and played 22 SNAPS and got zero targets.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: Because you gotta have guys out there that could do it.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: Shout out to Jordan Walken.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_00]: He's keeping stepping up his blocking game.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: Week after week after week and just making it easier to rely on them.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: I love seeing that.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_00]: I wish Jacob Cowen who is a good blocker and he had some good blocks.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_00]: you just got to eliminate those air.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm starting in the wide receiver room.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not panicking about linebackers because green laws out for one game.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: Garrett Wallace got some issues, but I think he will be back.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_00]: Tato Betton, who's been a healthy scratch can step in.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: You have
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: Jalen Graham on the practice squad you can promote.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not overreacting to the line back a room.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_00]: I love what Jalen Dougherts done.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_00]: Drake Grinlow has been an amazing freight like you have the best line back in core in the NFL.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_00]: The corners we talked about are awesome.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_00]: Marky Seagull will be back.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 17:40[SPEAKER_00]: Jair Brown's playing good.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_00]: Now I can stop playing amazing.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's fine.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_00]: The 49ers off its line.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe the best in the NFL.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_00]: Connor Colby had some issues, but like I'm not even trading for a left guard because I've got a rookie contract seventh round pick last year.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_00]: Connor Colby
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: The run game is working in large part because of 75 Connor Colby you look at 11 yard touchdown run from Christian McAfrey.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_00]: He blows two people up and CMC just runs right behind him and it works to perfection.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not interested in offensive lineman too much wide receivers defensive ends defensive tackles.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I want not what veterans.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: I want veterans.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: Now, who is selling Larry, that's the question, who can you get those names or become in a little more evident weekend, we get out?
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not big on Calvin Ridley.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, it would be nice to have now, but I'm not willing to, you know, give up major draft capital for that player.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see, but that wide receiver position, it's got to be highlighted.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_01]: Now, you know, it's, it's interesting because I've heard, you know, I just was doing the show on Can Be Arts and I threw this out to the audience and a lot of people were like, you know, maybe defense of line, defense of end.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_01]: Why do receivers interesting?
- 19:04[SPEAKER_01]: You know, this is, I mean, it's interesting on a lot of fronts.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 19:09[SPEAKER_01]: And by the way, we do have we do have a little bit of news here that we want to share.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_01]: We've got a news item here.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_01]: really a news that's not like a newsbreaker that's just that that's the draft that's the draft the draft the draft jingled dammit where I got to get the the newsmaker who want to pair um okay i'm gonna share the screen um and we'll go come back to our our conversation on receivers but the 49ers today worked out the following line
- 19:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm, uh, I'm free to announce right now that the Niners have signed Eugenia Sonte.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, so Eugenia Sonte is the newest 49er now.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: I had him on the crew show when he came out of Auburn and he's one of my favorite guys and he did send me a text saying, you know, hey, I'm coming to town.
- 20:11[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so I will, I will be putting that out on Twitter here in the next minute or two.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: But, um, Eugene Assante is a really good football player and, um, he's a, he's a fast linebacker.
- 20:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's super aggressive.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: He's kind of, he's kind of a nine or type guy.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_01]: He's a, he's a big time athlete.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's a hitter.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_01]: He's 61 about 225, um, and he's smart.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: He's aggressive.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: He loves to hit.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's going to be a great.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's going to be a great addition right there.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: Well Larry here's what I say you get your tweet out.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_00]: Let me talk about the lineback room and Eugene is Dante.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_00]: You do what you got to do.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: We've got the beat reporter.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: The hardest work in man is show business.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: He's breaking news.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_00]: He's doing everything Larry.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: You freaking stud.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_00]: But Eugene is Dante.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_00]: You know it coming out of.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_00]: Auburn, I remember just like I was really, really high on this guy because back when every came out, it was like, all right, this is the new prototypical undersized linebacker, kind of that six one, 220 mid pound frame that could do everything.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_00]: And he's a speed guy.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: He was a 4-4-8-40-R-Dash, I mean the kid couldn't move, and it was just a tackling machine, team captain at Oregon, he did kind of a little bit of everything.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: Now, gets in the NFL and it doesn't work out.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: He has bounced around a tremendous amount, and it just has not worked, built with the Dolphins, Browns, Falcons, went to the UFL,
- 21:42[SPEAKER_00]: just hasn't worked.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_00]: So could it be to the point where Eugene can step into the best line back room in the NFL learn, see what he could contribute, and then step in.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_00]: If that worse, this is a special team's replacement.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: for a guy like Garrett Wallow.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_00]: I do think that he's probably going to be put on the practice squad first and then kind of elevated if those opportunities present themselves.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_00]: But it's nice to get a little bit more depth in that room because you just had, you had Tato Bethany who's been a healthy scratch.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_00]: He will not be this week.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be active.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_00]: He's he's going to play.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to get reps on all special teams.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_00]: And if there's an injury, he will step up.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_00]: I fully expect them to call up either Jalen Graham or Eugene and Sante now because you've got to have those rooms because your special teams core is always comprised of line backers, tight ends, safeties.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_00]: Those are the three most positions that are utilized on special teams and whenever you can get these kind of speed, bigger body guys even though he's only like 61, he's still kind of the athletic build that you want.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_00]: I freaking love it.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_00]: I thought they would make a move.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_00]: Now I am curious, I would not be shocked if either Luke Gifford or Garrett Wallow get like an injury settlement release and then brought back after that time period and the injury is done.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_00]: But Larry, man, congrats to you on breaking that news.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_00]: I know you're probably happier than most, man.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_00]: We were doing mock draft episodes you were talking about this guy years ago.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he's a he's a you know, he's a very very talented linebacker and he's a really he's a smart guy.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_01]: He's an aggressive guy and he loves to hit.
- 23:29[SPEAKER_01]: He runs and hits I caught him in the couple the all star games and I thought wow look at this guy this guy's you know, it's guys playing a seek and destroy.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: You know, and Auburn produces some really phenomenal athletes.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: Let's be honest, I mean, they, they really do, and this guy's a tremendous athlete, and he's a good get now, how he fits exactly and who comes and who goes, we'll see in the next 24 hours at these practice squad, if he's active roster, what his deal is, he might be going to the practice squad, but either way, it's a fast athletic linebacker who likes to hate, who can play,
- 24:03[SPEAKER_01]: in the subpackage and you know he's he's kind of that that hybrid safety linebacker type guy who's who's as you said what four four speed four four eight yeah four four speed at at two hundred and twenty five pounds and he really loves to hit so I think that's a that's a great signing by the forty nineers I really think that's
- 24:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's a guy that should be able to help out at some point this year and he'll fit in perfectly in that room.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, great.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the room, too.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_01]: I'm happy for Eugene because, you know, KG writes a really good coach and it's a great room because you've got perfect examples in Fred Warner and Drake Greenlaw and they're willing to share.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_01]: And then you got young guys that are that are learning and need coaching, right?
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: So you can learn vicariously just by being around those guys.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_01]: So I think overall it's a great addition by the 49ers to get Eugene Asante.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_00]: So not just one.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_00]: And one thing I do want to bring up.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_00]: I see people that chat talking about Nick Martin.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think the reason why I don't think Nick Martin's going to be brought back from the IR currently is because this is a short-term problem.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_00]: The 49ers have a long-term problem with only having six IR spots to return.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_00]: So if you did bring back Nick Martin now, what happens after the by-week?
- 25:21[SPEAKER_00]: whenever you get Garrett Wallow back, whenever you get Drake Green Law back, what does that look like?
- 25:26[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't think that this is so much of an indictment against Nick Martin as it is like men.
- 25:33[SPEAKER_00]: They love the linebackers that they have.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: And so you have Doug or you have Green Law, you have Warner, is it worth spending one of these IR spots to return for somebody that's just gonna play special teams this week
- 25:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're kind of rolling the dice and trying to sandbag those IR to return spots.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't take this as an indictment against Nickmarn because there's just not enough seats left at the table once you get back to the buy week.
- 26:03[SPEAKER_00]: And you gotta keep those IR to return spots.
- 26:06[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, you know, I mean, I kind of wonder is I'm Martin is so fast, so athletic.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, if you added him to the mix, I mean, there's another guy who I think really is an impact hitter.
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'd love to see Nick Martin active, but you know, maybe these haven't problems getting healthy, maybe they maybe they
- 26:26[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they're not fans of this game, I mean, he's just had a hard time breaking through.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's like Jordan Walkins on offense and Nick Martin on defense.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_01]: These guys are fast athletic guys who are really productive at the collegiate level and just haven't to this point, it hasn't happened.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, it's, it's one of those things, it's like, you know, sometimes it takes a year, sometimes it takes a while to find your kind of spot.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: And some guys jump into the league and are good right away and have a spot right away, but sometimes it takes some time.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: So, um, anyway, uh, there you go.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I retrake news, look at that.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: How cool is that?
- 27:01[SPEAKER_01]: Breaking news.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_01]: I put the little breaking news thing out there.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'd re-edit it because I looked at
- 27:11[SPEAKER_01]: So never, I mean, there you go, but yes, Eugene is on to the newest 49er, and I think that's a good move.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_01]: What was your, what's your thought on the commanders?
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: You know, here come the commanders, you know, they're going to, you're going to get the commanders a game because the commanders, I mean, they were, they're pissed off, they blew the game, they had a chance to win, they had a settle for a tie,
- 27:35[SPEAKER_01]: couldn't get the play called so you know every single guy there on both sides of the ball is going to be super focused on on this game and I think the Niners ought to prepare themselves for the commanders to play the best game of their year so far because they know they're got to and they're going to believe me they're going to have
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: Dan Quinn's full attention.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: You saw what Dan Quinn did to his headsets at the end of that game.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: He slammed him into the ground.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_01]: He is really pissed off.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_01]: So I expect that to be a very challenging game Monday night.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm hoping it's a big nine or win.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's keen to turners, you know, going into the
- 28:13[SPEAKER_01]: into the, you know, the nine or hall of fame, and we love Nina Keena Turner.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: Nina's Keena is, Keena is class personified, he really is.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_01]: And if you, if you want to go check the YouTube Annals for Keena Turner, type in Keena Turner Otis Anderson.
- 28:29[SPEAKER_01]: and wait until you see the hit that Kina Turner put on Otis Anderson who eventually got called O.J.
- 28:36[SPEAKER_01]: Anderson and played with the New York Giants, but this was early in his career on the turf in St. Louis when the Cardinals were still in St. Louis and Kina Turner was a past of the flat to O.J.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_01]: Anderson.
- 28:48[SPEAKER_01]: Kina Turner blew him up.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was one of the great hits in nine or history, really.
- 28:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was just folded one of the big, the preeminent power back of his day in his early primus, a young man at that point.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_01]: So we love Keena and Keena's a big time winner.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_01]: He's a great guy at class act.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_01]: And so we don't want the Monday night to be ruined in any way, shape, or form.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm telling you man, but a buck of that shin strap and be ready to go because the commanders are going to show up angry, focused, and they've got an element that's very difficult for the Niners to defend the running quarterback.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_01]: This guy has no turnovers, no fumbles, no interceptions, and he had a hundred yards on the ground last week against the Giants.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: So Giants blitz them to, you know, what's going to be interesting in this game?
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: I was talking to Greg Co.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_01]: The giants blitzed the hell out of the commanders.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_01]: The commanders lost Laramie Tuncil early in the year.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: They've had their offensive lines of disaster right now.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_01]: And the giants of a good defense of front and they brought that house against Jaden Daniels.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_01]: And unfortunately, for the giants have gave Daniels lots of obvious run lanes and he took it, but they also got five sacks.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm eager to see what Rehm plan is this week against Daniels.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's interesting because I mean, the commanders are one three and one.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_00]: They're in last place in what I would argue.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: One of the worst divisions in the NFL this year.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: The NFC East is so bad, but the one, there's like a couple things that they're very good at.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_00]: They are complimentary and they're one of the best rushing teams in the NFL offensively.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_00]: They run the ball very well.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_00]: I had 200 plus rushing yards last week in that giant scheme.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_00]: And they are also really good at stopping the run.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_00]: And so like that is kind of what they hang their hat on.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_00]: They have a stud quarterback.
- 30:34[SPEAKER_00]: They've got a stud linebacker, one of you know, up for defensive rookie, the year type guys.
- 30:40[SPEAKER_00]: They have some young potential.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_00]: They're just not a good football team.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_00]: And they're not coached well across the board.
- 30:49[SPEAKER_00]: and they make a lot of mistakes and you could argue they're best and only one of the season was with their backup quarterback.
- 30:55[SPEAKER_00]: Now Jayden Daniels is awesome.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_00]: That dude is incredible, but I don't know.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_00]: This team just doesn't have it.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_00]: They're by week.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_00]: The commanders by week is next week.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_00]: If they get embarrassed on prime time again, like dude, it's possible, like then like guys could be fired, like they're going to show up in this game and they're going to show up and play in this game.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_00]: There's just no doubt all lies on them.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_00]: Adam Peters, this is going to play coming back to the Niners brain and I used to go to be out there for for sure.
- 31:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm joking right there.
- 31:26[SPEAKER_00]: But like this game is money and I football.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_00]: your backs are against the wall if they lose this one and go into their by week one four and one people are getting fired you don't want that and so that this is going to be a a tougher game than I think a lot of people are expecting the NFL's for real and I mean this is the same team that beat Seattle and put up 30 with 30 points against them like
- 31:54[SPEAKER_00]: they can do it.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_00]: They have the talent to be almost any team on any given Sunday, but it's going to be on a Monday.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_00]: Niners are favored.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_00]: Niners should be able to control this game.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_00]: The offensive line of the secondary, that's their weakness, right?
- 32:07[SPEAKER_00]: So you can throw the ball against this team.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, you can get to their quarterback pretty well, but they're going to run the ball well.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_00]: So it's going to be a fun game.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: And if the Niners get this and improve to six
- 32:21[SPEAKER_00]: Another conference game just building on all those tie breakers, which they already have the lead on everybody already Take care of business man.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's there for them
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, I think the nighters saw last year how difficult the road to the Super Bowl is through the road.
- 32:41[SPEAKER_01]: They had an incredible performance in Philadelphia.
- 32:43[SPEAKER_01]: They pulled an amazing upset, but then they got the short week on the road against Seattle.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_01]: They had been rested and ready and the nighters showed up with no kiddo, no Warner, no green lawn, no
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: and they got their doors blown off.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: And you know, when the nighters went to the Super Bowl, a couple years ago in Vegas, they had home field advantage.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_01]: And how much did that home field advantage benefit them in the playoffs huge?
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so let's do this.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_01]: I wanna talk more about the trade deadline.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_01]: We'll finish up with that.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_01]: But let's do this.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_01]: We'll move John and I to the corner of the room and we will do our prize picks lineup right here and we'll share the screen.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: There we go and we'll have it done it.
- 33:20[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes I pick the lineup ahead of time, but tonight I have not done that yet, but wait a second.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_01]: Let me just jump over here again.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_01]: I want to make sure we change the, do we do that?
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: There we go.
- 33:35[SPEAKER_01]: There we go.
- 33:36[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_01]: Um, now I'm going to come over here and you think I should be able to do this a little smoother than this, but you know what, it's not my first day on YouTube, but welcome to the crew show everybody Larry Kruger figuring out YouTube.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_01]: All right, is price fixed use code HMA play $5 and get one 50 if your first lineup is a winner.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you to prize picks.
- 34:01[SPEAKER_01]: All right, Sean, what do you think, Monday night, Niners and Commanders will take a couple of Niners and maybe a couple of Commanders?
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: What jumps out at you?
- 34:08[SPEAKER_01]: Who do you want to, what angle do you like in this one?
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I do think that they're going to throw the ball.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'm curious where the stat light is for Christian B. Kathryn receiving and Mike Evans receiving.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_00]: 39 and a half receiving yards for CMC.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: All right, it's a little more.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_00]: I was hoping around 33, where they got Evans at.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_01]: Because Evans, Evans is just that, is it possible that, you know, if they get a lead here, they pull Evans off the field, 73 and a half receiving yards.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's a high number it is, but that longest reception at 23 and a half.
- 34:47[SPEAKER_00]: I do that.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, let's go with that.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_00]: Go with that one.
- 34:53[SPEAKER_01]: I kind of think that it's time for K-Lon Black to have a 10-yard run.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, there we go.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_01]: I think a 10-yard run from K-Lon Black.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_01]: He takes it up in there so hard, he's going to hit it one of these times.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_00]: Man, he was one...
- 35:07[SPEAKER_00]: there was there was a defense attack on the opposite a gap that came over fought across brindles face and just barely got his shoe string if he didn't do that it would have been a 40 yard run like it was teamed up lot perfectly it was so close Larry last week.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he runs so damn hard.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's pick Washington.
- 35:26[SPEAKER_01]: Um, we got to get rid of all these.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_01]: I like how it starts with all these guys in the league name Washington.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: Um, okay.
- 35:32[SPEAKER_01]: But now we get down here to the
- 35:35[SPEAKER_01]: you know what do you think it's you know it's it's interesting that it's there are hard team to figure that they have a they have a three-headed monster it's ackler it's jacquiri crosskey merit call me bill and they have a third back as well for shot why I don't think you shot a week
- 35:55[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so Croskey marriage there.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the more Croskey marriage over 0.5 receptions more more It's got the yeah, we'll give you get that and then I kind of like Jane Daniels on the rush yards.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: You ran for a hundred yards last week.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to run for 36 this week Yeah, Drake Greenlaw's not playing that's usually his is job right so Jayden Tucker's awesome, but he's not greenlaw status in that chasing down mobile quarterbacks
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, so this is our lineup.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: We'll put it out there on the board.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_01]: We'll submit the lineup.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: We'll share it.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_01]: It takes a second, bingo, bingo, and now the lineup has been placed.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: Let's view our lineup.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_01]: All right, four-pick power play.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: $5 pays us $35.
- 36:35[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Evans has got to have at least a 24-yard reception.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_01]: K-lon Blacks has to have a 10-yard run.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: Bill Merritt, Bill Croskey Merritt, Jacoree Croskey Merritt, Call me Bill has to have at least one reception, and then Jane Daniels has to have 36 restyards.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_01]: If those four things happen, our $5 becomes $35, and we will retire from YouTube and that will be it now.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: I noticed your your bank shot up dude.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully people have been bed and you know put them in there with you because Dude, I can tell you you get a back a lot of this so that's that's awesome.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know what you make enough of these wagers You're gonna win every now and then All right The blind squirrel finds an acorn once a time once in a while as they say and And by the way if you're here to complain about me calling the squirrels blind, you know, please
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: What can I say?
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: Some can see, some can not see.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_01]: Um, there you go.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's the blind squirrel theory.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: Another thing I want to share is we go back to our, we're going to finish up right here.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_01]: And thank you to prize picks.
- 37:39[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you to Nevada Chevrolet.com.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you to sharp corner sports cards and collectibles.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_01]: And of course, big enough pickle.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_01]: But I want to share the screen.
- 37:49[SPEAKER_01]: And this is
- 37:51[SPEAKER_01]: I get lured by these often.
- 37:53[SPEAKER_01]: I probably shouldn't be.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_01]: But I did see this and this is probably not the most credible site.
- 37:57[SPEAKER_01]: But NFL rumors, Jaguar's Brian Thomas Jr. could be the next wide receiver traded.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_01]: Do you want to trade for Brian Thomas Jr. Would you trade what is necessary here the receivers Jerry Judy Brian Thomas Chris Godwin Garrett Wilson maybe if you want to pay us severe price and you got you got other guys that are out there as well, but those are the ones that really stand out, you know, I throughout loop McAfrey, because I've heard from some commanders people this week that he might be on the verge of being cut.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: And he's interesting, he's their seventh wide receiver.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: If they decide to cut him and if Kyle has one more juggle to me, when you have an offense with Mike Evans and Brock Protein, you're this explosive, I don't need a big play, punt returner.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_01]: I need a guy who's going to catch every single punt.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I think Luke McAfrey could do that.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I don't not ready to give up on cowing, but I'm getting, you know, you know, Shannon, it was asked by Mayo, go earlier this week.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_01]: So you've guys making a change at punt returner, and he didn't say no, he said not yet.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_01]: which is never, that's never, never good for the incumbent when you hear not yet.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_00]: Shanahan will, he'll go after those wide receivers in the presser.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_00]: He'll go after them.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_00]: There's no doubt about it.
- 39:17[SPEAKER_00]: So, what do you think here?
- 39:18[SPEAKER_01]: What do you think on Brian Thomas?
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, look.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_01]: They're not using Jordan Watkins.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_01]: He was a fourth round pick.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_01]: He was good in that part of the country.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_01]: How about if you don't like Jordan Watkins, how about Jordan Watkins and a third-round pick for Brian Thomas?
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: Would you do it?
- 39:32[SPEAKER_00]: I see a second in a second.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I'm doing that.
- 39:36[SPEAKER_00]: We're living in a world where Marvin Frick and Harrison Jr. just went for a second plus.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't know, but
- 39:46[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they're moving him at all.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think this is a credible source.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_00]: No offense.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you have nine targets just a few weeks ago.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I would love it.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, let's do it.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm calling, but they're playing, like, I don't think the jacks are in the cell mode.
- 40:04[SPEAKER_00]: Like, they're balling out, man.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_00]: They're playing very, very well.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't get why they would sell.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_00]: The Jerry Judy won.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_00]: He's the one that
- 40:14[SPEAKER_00]: I just him out on that, him as a player, very Dante Pettis like doesn't like contact, doesn't like physicality, doesn't block, just they drafted two wide receivers there for a reason.
- 40:27[SPEAKER_00]: Now he can run routes, but not all so scared.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like soft football players, and he is, he's a very soft football player.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_01]: He was great at Bama, but I hear you, he doesn't, you know, a little bit of an alligator arm guy in the middle of the field, you know, and that's, you know, short arms, you know, it's like if your arms ended at your elbows, but he short arms the ball.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_01]: Godwin's interesting, he played with Evans at Tampa, he's a veteran.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_01]: I'm telling you, I'm this front, I kind of think, and I don't know how you feel about this, and I'm all four making moves, you know, I'm going to add the kit for making moves.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_01]: But let's look at this.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: Right now, you have Evans Cook's Cowling and Watkins, okay?
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: And on the practice squad, you have Malik Turner, Xavier Smith, who's kind of the works, the backup to Cowling, and I really like him.
- 41:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's a home run hitter.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_01]: He did fumble in the playoffs for the Rams last year.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_01]: You also have Wesley Grimes who I really love and you got, and you got the wheel Pauling.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_01]: These are the guys you have in house on the practice club.
- 41:32[SPEAKER_01]: Then you have stripling back in December.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_01]: You've got to Marcus Robinson and Kirk Kirk.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_01]: I heard me go today say that he thinks he's in kind of a limbo.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, well, they keep kind of pushing it back.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: He could come back in week five, week six.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, what is it?
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're like, maybe either don't want to bring him back.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: Then you've got Dibo who's going to be back, I think for the radar game, post-buy, I think to Marcus Robinson is probably back for the radar game, post-buy, and then there's rap sheets as the Niners are a team to watch, potentially in a trade for Joann Jennings who had five targets in four games, but if you, you know, I went and looked into JJ, he played 49 SNAPs in the last game.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_01]: He played 94% of the SNAPs in the Miami game, they're using him, they're just not throwing
- 42:20[SPEAKER_01]: So and then I just don't understand the only thing I will say is I do know Jennings and Jennings is the good side of Jennings is he is a big money player.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: I ain't telling you guys anything you don't know.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_01]: You guys all know this.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I call him third in John and, you know, he showed a huge and the Super Bowl and I mean the Niners trust John Jennings.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_01]: but he isn't going to stretch the field.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_01]: There is, you know, I was watching the JTO Solve and breakdown of the of the game and he's like the first thing at steps or that, you know, stands out is that the Niners don't have any vertical speed and you saw that on display in this game.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_01]: They don't put it play cowling, they don't play walk-ins, dribbling's hurt, Marcus Robinson is a deep threat that curcs on the IR.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean,
- 43:06[SPEAKER_01]: They don't have a lot of speed right now on the field because they're playing Evans and Old Cooks and maybe the third receiver be cowing, but he's not really running the deep routes.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: He's they're using him kind of as an intermediate runner.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: Do you want to want Jennings?
- 43:23[SPEAKER_01]: And then the other question is, I don't think Minnesota would trade him to you.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_01]: But I think Joanne Jennings might be making himself an island in that locker room and I bet you
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: They caught him.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you sign them.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_00]: But like again, you're fighting for the number one seed and you play each other in Mexico City.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_00]: They're not training to you.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see what why would they train if they train them to you.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_01]: They would be ten times dumb.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and they're using them like he said 49 snaps whenever, you know, just Jefferson was out.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_00]: He was in there.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_00]: I would love to have him.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_00]: put them back at the F, don't put them at X, that would be huge.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, you've got Cowan and Watkins, and they are running clear out routes pretty consistently where they just run right between the two safeties and try to drag them deep.
- 44:11[SPEAKER_00]: One of them I give in's huge deep end crossers.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_00]: Cowan took two safeties deep.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you got to respect the speed.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_00]: They don't do it enough.
- 44:19[SPEAKER_00]: You would like to have an actual true deep threat.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: You could throw the ball to.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so that is huge, but you know, God went, I would love that would be awesome.
- 44:29[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and Juan Dill Robinson from the Titans, I would like that.
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: You know, another veteran got this paid off.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's a good name.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he caught 90 balls last year for Jackson Dirt.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_00]: He could play that undersized F that, you know, shenny hands done everywhere.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_00]: He went, you know, that Trent Taylor role, but with upside.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_00]: I would love that.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, if you can get Brian, you know, Thomas Jr., that's the first call.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: Chris Godwin would be too for me.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_00]: Then I'm going one Dell Robinson after that.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_01]: All right, how about the defensive line?
- 45:03[SPEAKER_01]: What do you do?
- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: Let's finish up on that front because to me, I think you can do, I'd either wait for Jennings to be cut.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_01]: I would, and I would put in a call to Minnesota.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, if you're cutting him, we'll throw you a seven.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_01]: You know, if we can, you know, so we can get jump a line.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_01]: If Luke McAfrey's out there, to me, that's the whole, I mean, you've got, it's like, do you trust counting?
- 45:25[SPEAKER_01]: Do you, and in the kick return spot, I think, not the kick return, but the pot return job, I think is the one that's up in the air.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_01]: Do you both can't do it?
- 45:33[SPEAKER_01]: Walkins, they don't trust to do it.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_01]: What are you going to go to Will Pauling?
- 45:37[SPEAKER_01]: So, to me, Luke McAfrey makes a lot of sense if he's out there.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I know Christian would love to play with them.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he'd be a more sure-handed guy.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: So McAfrey makes sense to me.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_01]: Jennings, I could see just as a relaxed, just an agent that they would want him.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think ideally I'd like to see some vertical speed.
- 45:54[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't mind Wesley Crimes getting some run.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_01]: I heck, I wouldn't mind if they just used.
- 45:59[SPEAKER_01]: Jordan Watkins and but where I would definitely and what I want to finish the stream with is the defensive front if they to me they're one really good defensive player away from you know on their front seven
- 46:14[SPEAKER_01]: If you could add one more front seven guy and get Bosa back, I think that's going to be too much between the way parties plan and Chanahan and the weapons they have and how well their lines plan, how good they are in all three phases.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_01]: If the Niners, you give or he Morris a healthy Nick Bosa and one more really good defensive lineman.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: I think the Niners, it's there year.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's time to go to LA for the Super Bowl and rampage and get that six-limb party for the trophy case.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's beyond time.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_01]: Who do you want?
- 46:48[SPEAKER_01]: Who's the defensive line in the gets the Niners over the top?
- 46:51[SPEAKER_01]: And last year they went for Keyon White.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_01]: And nobody said anything about it.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_01]: But you know what?
- 46:55[SPEAKER_01]: That was a great addition.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_01]: And he was a young guy who wasn't a scheme fit New England.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_01]: Is a scheme fit here.
- 47:01[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't know if it has to be like, you know, I bring some max crawls being, you know, Khalil Mack, and I get it.
- 47:06[SPEAKER_01]: Those are big name guys.
- 47:07[SPEAKER_01]: To forest, Buckner, Josh, sweat, drawn pain.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_01]: Those are the big name guys.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_01]: But there's probably a player out there that's, you know, or two, that they're thinking of that they could get, or would you like to trade draft capital in 27 and go get somebody special, really a difference maker, who are you thinking?
- 47:27[SPEAKER_01]: What should they
- 47:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you talked about like to get to LA.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think the answer is in LA.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_00]: The chargers have my three favorite top targets on the defensive line, all on that same roster.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_00]: So like I'm pulling against hardball and the chargers every single week.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_00]: Colil Mac everybody talks about that one obviously makes a lot of sense.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: But T.R.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: Tart, the defensive tackle.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_00]: You know, stout run stuff are really, really good.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_00]: And then Dalvin Tomlinson, another one of those aging vets,
- 47:58[SPEAKER_00]: that just has so much experience he would be able to come in here and be a rotational guy instead of being the e every down starter and all that stuff like that's three names I'm keeping an eye on.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_00]: Clil max the big one for sure I mean potential Hall of Fame career with what he's done but yeah that that L.A. Chargers team that that is where the answers lie it's cross conference
- 48:23[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, man, there's a lot and maybe there will be some more becoming available later, but with right now, you're kind of focusing on the O and 5 teams, because even teams like the commanders that are one, three, and one, they're in a terrible division.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_00]: They're two and a half games out of first place, and the giants are in first place, but no quarterbacks.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_00]: So just because teams have losing records, doesn't mean they're selling yet, but we're getting closer, chargers is where I'm looking first.
- 48:51[SPEAKER_01]: It's a good spot.
- 48:53[SPEAKER_01]: I could, you know, if I had to wage your on a name, I'd probably wage your on Asian Robinson and Leonard Floyd, you know, just because, and those are the guys that don't cost you much, right?
- 49:03[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think you're gonna have to pay a lot for wanting Floyd's a free agent.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_01]: Robinson is in Tampa, but, and he's having a decent year,
- 49:11[SPEAKER_01]: Reheem knows him from LA, they want to superbowl together.
- 49:14[SPEAKER_01]: So I think Aishon Robinson could be that one tech.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_01]: They're looking for and I think Leonard Floyd could be an edge piece that could help them.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_01]: But I'll tell you the the intriguing thing to me would be.
- 49:27[SPEAKER_01]: if you could call either the jets, and I would offer, you know, I'm not sure if I'd offer a first.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_01]: I would have I could make this trade.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_01]: If I could get Will McDonald and Garrett Wilson, I would offer my first.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'd offer my first round pick.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_00]: Two first rounders.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_00]: I do two first rounders.
- 49:44[SPEAKER_00]: For Garrett Wilson alone.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think that dude's special.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean Garrett Wilson is so he is the dynamic weapon.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_01]: that's like really special and Wilmic Donald is a perfect former teammate of Brock Pertis.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know about two ones, but I would definitely go one and maybe even a
- 49:59[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe a one in a four, one in a three, something like that.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you were over two drafts.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_01]: I would do something like that if I could.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_01]: The other team that is intriguing to me is Tennessee.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_01]: They have Solomon Thomas.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_01]: I like Solomon Thomas for the Niners right now.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's got a motor, he's scheme versatile.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_01]: He plays super hard.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_01]: I could see him being very good.
- 50:21[SPEAKER_01]: They also have Germaine Johnson and old with Femial LaDasia and I love old Dasia.
- 50:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think old days show, especially with the injury, you know, with green-laws injury situation, you may need, you know, you may need Jade Dugger to play linebacker, and old days show can be that he can do the same thing Dugger can do.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_01]: He can walk up on the line of scrimmage and be that, you know, have that five-man surface and present be that defense
- 50:51[SPEAKER_01]: you know play as a as an off the ball linebacker so if I could get to those guys like Sally Thomas and Germaine Johnson or or Sally Thomas and all the familial dejo or you know or if I could just get all dejo I'd be really excited about that I think he's a special player.
- 51:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he would be in this defense and he's young.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'd like to see one young energetic player because they got a young core and if they could add a player that they could have for a couple of years, I think that would be the way to go.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_01]: last question before we get out of here is there is there any team like I'm looking at the contenders people I was looking at this article today about the everybody's weakness see I don't need to running back right they you know they they they got ready can't walker and they lost quick kubiac and they're turning the ball over on offense that they've got issues the Rams have a horrible special teams unit they just they just dump their kicker
- 51:46[SPEAKER_01]: They've got some injuries, some age, miles Garrett, Aaron Donald, you know, been, you know, don't look quite as dominant as a lot of people are kind of projecting them to look.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_01]: Their wide receivers don't get a lot of separation.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_01]: The Rams, I mean, the bears defense, they need edge rusher help to trudge past defense as bad.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_01]: Elana doesn't really have a quarterback, it's consistent, Panics is up, Panics is down.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_01]: Green Bay's got a bad offensive line, Dallas got a horrendous secondary, Minnesota's got a horrendous secondary.
- 52:16[SPEAKER_01]: Philly's got a battle line, they're going nowhere, the Giants have a terrible run game, no quarterback.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_01]: Is there any team in the in the conference at all that you think even has a shot or is this truly as we're sitting here in October or mid October are you ready to sign off on the entire conference outside of the NFC West or is there a team deep in there that we should probably keep our eyes on.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_00]: Man, the three best teams are still in the NFC West.
- 52:48[SPEAKER_00]: And I know the Rams have a losing record, but like if they catch on and Garrett comes back and AD gets, you know, improved, that could be scary.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_00]: They're not the, the 49ers are the best team by far.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_00]: Atlanta poses some issues with their physicality and just their skill set.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like that is like the triplets, you know what I mean?
- 53:08[SPEAKER_00]: Like, they have some talent on offense that could do some things.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_00]: One day, they don't they don't use pits right now.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_00]: The Vikings are that defense is unreal but I don't know if not really silly a little bit but not much.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_00]: This is a very flawed conference, Larry.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_00]: Like there's not a lot of top tier talent.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's the NFC West to lose.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_00]: They I would be absolutely perplexed.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_00]: If it wasn't one of those three teams representing the NFC and the Super Bowl, they're the best teams.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's very clearly Seattle and the 49ers and the 49ers just won at Seattle.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I see some more in the ramps.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, very, but there are much better team.
- 53:55[SPEAKER_00]: There are much better complete team.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know about that.
- 53:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the ramps are, the ramps are really good offense and a pretty good defense.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, look at the numbers where the c-C-Ox don't have a run game.
- 54:06[SPEAKER_01]: Darnals turning it over.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, they don't quite.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, George Holonis, the best they got.
- 54:12[SPEAKER_01]: Really?
- 54:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think sharps and price will fix that a little bit.
- 54:16[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's too pretty good running backs.
- 54:19[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see how it goes.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think Flurry's struggling a lot right now.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_00]: You know, Brian Flurry, their new offensive coordinator.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_00]: They're not chilling.
- 54:27[SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm hoping that stays.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_00]: I absolutely despise that team, but that defense is it's all world whenever it works.
- 54:35[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll see.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see.
- 54:38[SPEAKER_01]: our brother let's hit our supers and will jet hit like and subscribe thank you to all of our sponsors thanks to all of you guys being here we're always thankful for the super chats and thank you to all of you and if we miss one of yours god please you know tell me and we'll go back Sunday living says hey 745 huh Larry's the type of dude to be late to his own wedding
- 55:02[SPEAKER_00]: All right, if she likes you, she'll wait.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's not about being on time.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_01]: It's about being good.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, it's about being on time, dammit.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I got to be better than that.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_01]: I was doing some stuff for K&BR and the segment ran a little long.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: A Kim Bro, five, eight, eight, eight says, I'm so sick of the talking heads and acting like they've been on Perti and the Niners train for weeks.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: Same guy is saying he was a game manager last week.
- 55:28[SPEAKER_01]: And I saw Matt Barnes trying to talk to Kishan Johnson and he's like, Hey, this guy was a game manager.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, what are you even talking football for at all?
- 55:37[SPEAKER_01]: Why should we ever listen to you about football at all?
- 55:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, Matt Barnes, but I mean, it's like, I struggle.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like Kishan, Kishan should have said, what do you know about it?
- 55:47[SPEAKER_00]: What do you really know about it?
- 55:49[SPEAKER_00]: You know, if you're wondering like hanging out and you like the personalities, that's cool.
- 55:52[SPEAKER_00]: I struggle taking football takes from people that don't watch film.
- 55:57[SPEAKER_00]: I struggle with that.
- 55:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, I mean, especially, you know, when people get a totally wrong, I was listening to the radio a few weeks ago and some guys like, yeah, Seattle, they're going to load the box and play man.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_01]: Like, dude, they're going to play like they're going to play light box and they're going to go 90% or 91% zone, you know, I mean, it's like, and I know that never really knows a Sunday living I think this week is a test week for shanny to see if he has evolved as a coach the test is how much he uses walkins and cowing.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_00]: Just have 46, they had 46 snaps combined last week, just an untary.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you had Cowen had that one third town conversion on a curl route out of a bunch of trips formation, but that was it.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and that was that showed the the gravity of T bow and Evans T bow ran the cross or Evans right.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, go.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_01]: And Cowen was sitting there with nobody around him and pretty red it and got in the ball and was it was a great reading.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_01]: It was perfect spacing Sunday living says if he can break through and get past Cowen's bad game.
- 56:59[SPEAKER_01]: And also play Watkins like he did versus the Cardinals great sad that I expect minimal play for both and for Kyle to Kyle Yeah, I get it.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_00]: He's rough on why receivers
- 57:11[SPEAKER_00]: his rough on wide receivers.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_00]: And that was Brock though, because Brock won't throw it to him.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_00]: Brock's first read will be to four and he'll look at them and then just get through his reads.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_00]: Like, Brock and Kyle, they're one, you can say like, they're, they're synced pretty good, but like you can go back to Jordan Mason.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_00]: Like, there are guys where Brock just will not throw them the ball even if they are open.
- 57:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, you know, one thing I do think I do think parties the perfect quarterback for Shanahan because I think Shanahan is really harsh and Brock is the kind of guy that will take hard coaching and just let it slide off his back and he's cool with it because he's he's he's got that mental maturity and he can handle it.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_01]: Not every guy can handle that.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: Um, we get this one from Rainier, Rainier Ben Prado.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_01]: This is hey, Kruger and John.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_01]: Can you guys talk about the potential trade targets for D&D tackle water seaver?
- 58:05[SPEAKER_01]: We just did and even tied in too.
- 58:07[SPEAKER_01]: See you in LA versus the Charger's John Hashtag Rush pod.
- 58:12[SPEAKER_01]: We kind of did that already.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, tied in.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_01]: I think they like their tight ends.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're staying.
- 58:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, I don't see them adding a tight end.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think Luke Feral might get extended.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_00]: I know last year that's crazy.
- 58:22[SPEAKER_00]: He's been awesome.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's been awesome.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_00]: He's been awesome.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_00]: He's been way better do it everything that you need to do.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 58:30[SPEAKER_01]: No, I, and we kind of went over the other ones, but thank you for that 49er George drops a scene out.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_01]: Larry Kruger and John Chapman, the goats, either man Larry or Frankie George.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's a good dude, man.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_00]: Teacher.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's salt to their great people.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_00]: Great him.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_01]: Look at that.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_01]: Look at that.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_01]: George, just showing, I thought teachers had a struggle on the salary.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_00]: Very generous person.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_01]: Teachers maybe you need to be, maybe roll those salaries back a little.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_01]: No, don't say that.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm joking.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm joking.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm joking.
- 58:59[SPEAKER_01]: uh... milk ticket to jewels overstar he's the guy's listening and i gave you i just don't it port yeah uh... we got this one from worst genie says i couldn't watch the full c-hawks game but i didn't like how broke held the ball too long this specific game that is this a wrong thought nope he he definitely you know you can hate it but then when you go back through the film and you see how many off
- 59:27[SPEAKER_01]: off at a structure plays he made this this you can do that too much and there were a couple of plays where he had a open read early and he hunted a different read like give you an example that great play in the first quarter to Mike Evans he had Kittle on the slant and he was open
- 59:48[SPEAKER_01]: Now, there might have been some bodies in between there, and we could ask Brock about that.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_01]: But then he kind of drifted, moved to his left, escaped the pocket.
- 59:55[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't really flushed as much as he just kind of bailed.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_01]: And then Evans, who just ran a simple out, was just kind of standing there, then worked his body to the sideline and putty on the run to his left.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_01]: through just a dime right on Evans' hands, and it was a beautiful play.
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was first down at the two yard line, and it also kind of sent a loud message, John, that you know what?
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_01]: It could be a long day for the C.O.X.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_01]: because Brock Pertis is going to be able to find the little cracks and deliver the ball to Mike Evans.
- 1:00:28[SPEAKER_01]: I thought that was a very powerful early play in the game.
- 1:00:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I just want to add like Brock Perti's playing greedy football in the best of ways.
- 1:00:38[SPEAKER_00]: He wants he wants double stripples on runs.
- 1:00:43[SPEAKER_00]: He wants them and you got to hold the ball for that sometimes.
- 1:00:46[SPEAKER_01]: Kevin says, what about tomorrow Douglas?
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_01]: I like popped Douglas.
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_01]: He seems perfect for Shania, but I don't think the pats would be willing to deal them.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, supposedly they were and and the pats do have a lot of receivers.
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_01]: Um,
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_01]: Williams from from Wazoo finally start Kyle Williams starting to play some ball.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_01]: They still have dobs up there.
- 1:01:05[SPEAKER_01]: They got a bunch of receivers.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see them moving him, but if he's available, that is a good name.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_01]: Pop Douglas a good player.
- 1:01:13[SPEAKER_01]: Scott says this season feels special.
- 1:01:15[SPEAKER_01]: I remember 1984 every week, another win until the team feared no one.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_01]: through the final down at Stanford Stadium.
- 1:01:24[SPEAKER_01]: Let's fuck and go.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_01]: I love it.
- 1:01:27[SPEAKER_01]: That's beautiful.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_01]: Scott, thank you.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, thank you.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_00]: Hell yeah.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_01]: That was a good one.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_01]: Sunday living.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_01]: Chape, you're great.
- 1:01:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to subscribe to you.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry you have to put up with Larry through Larry's the man.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_00]: But so are you Sunday and welcome.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_00]: And I appreciate you, man.
- 1:01:43[SPEAKER_01]: We have this one for 49ers squadron thoughts on the 49ers pursuing a shot of baitmen.
- 1:01:49[SPEAKER_01]: would be a terrific realistic upgrade to our wide receiver room and would fit in shenanigans offense.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_01]: No, he has not been consistent in Baltimore, but it's a tough offense to for a receiver, because you got the quarterback who's not always in the pocket.
- 1:02:05[SPEAKER_01]: So, Bateman, he's been better.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_01]: He's a big body guy who's young.
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_01]: He might.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he might really flourish here.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he might find a new level here.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_01]: it's an interesting name.
- 1:02:17[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know that they're moving.
- 1:02:19[SPEAKER_00]: They're four and one.
- 1:02:20[SPEAKER_00]: That's the thing.
- 1:02:21[SPEAKER_00]: Like they're, I don't think they're selling.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_00]: Hell yeah.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he blocks runs a full route tree.
- 1:02:26[SPEAKER_00]: He's not dynamic playmaker.
- 1:02:28[SPEAKER_00]: But he's, I mean, there's a reason why they gave him a second contract.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like, no, no, he can stretch the field vertically very well.
- 1:02:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's vertical.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_01]: He's big.
- 1:02:36[SPEAKER_01]: He's powerful.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_01]: He can run through arm tackles.
- 1:02:38[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot to like about Rashad Bateman.
- 1:02:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he could be, pretty special in this offense.
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_01]: Really, I just don't see Baltimore.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see Eric to cost of moving him.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_01]: I just think they need all good receivers.
- 1:02:49[SPEAKER_01]: They can come up with a
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_01]: That is going to do it for us.
- 1:02:51[SPEAKER_01]: John, I'll give you the final word before we pull the rip cord, but hit like and subscribe everybody on your way out.

- 1:03:20[SPEAKER_00]: You just talked about 1984, this is a special year.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_00]: Is it gonna end the way we all want it to with the six-limb party and all those things?
- 1:03:29[SPEAKER_00]: You sure say, I hope so.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_00]: But you don't get there without taking care of business now.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_00]: this year just seems to have some of the special sauce about it.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_00]: Enjoy this.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I love the debates and I love back and forth and I love all that stuff.
- 1:03:43[SPEAKER_00]: But constantly kind of check your fandom and just be like, these are times that we hoped for in the 90s and the 2000s and the 2010s.
- 1:03:52[SPEAKER_00]: You waited for years like this.
- 1:03:54[SPEAKER_00]: I really hope the fans are enjoying it.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_00]: You are the best layer.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_00]: Appreciate it.
- 1:03:57[SPEAKER_00]: Let me stay on here for a little bit.
