- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: Dr. Steve Turley, join me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, and you know, there's a moment every political strategist dreams about.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: That's the moment the results finally come in and you get to see that you won.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: But for most consultants, that moment is built on TV ads, talking heads and spin cycles.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: But for our guests today, it's built on something far more old school, far more powerful, far more effective.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: the old-fashioned politics of knocking on doors.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_00]: Joining me today is a good friend of this channel, the one and only cliff baloney, and if you're new to our channel, and you haven't heard of cliff yet, you're about to understand why the left has been terrified of this guy for years.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_00]: Cliff is the CEO of Citizens Alliance and the founder of the Pennsylvania Chase and my backyard here, the ground game machine that deployed 120 full-time ballot chasers to knock on over 510,000 doors in Pennsylvania in 2024.
- 1:21[SPEAKER_00]: boosting Republican mail-in votes from 20% all the way to 35% and helping to deliver Donald Trump, the one state he absolutely needed to win the White House.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: He's been called the Godfather of door knocking.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: He's knocked on over eight million doors across the country.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's helped elect more than 400 conservative state legislatures.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: And his motto is as simple as it's devastating.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: doors win wars.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: And now he's written this book that the left hopes you never read.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: It's called run right a complete election playbook to win.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: And that's key.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a think piece.
- 2:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's not a motivational speed.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's a field manual.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_00]: A step by step operational guide to
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: building campaigns, chasing ballots, and winning elections from school boards all the way to the presidency, the White House itself.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're serious about fighting back, especially for the midterms, putting conservatives in power and turning your values into actual policy, I'm telling you, this is the most important book you'll read all year.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: Cliff, my friend.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't talked to you in so long.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's so awesome to chat with you.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome back to the channel, man.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for having me, Doc.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: Appreciate you.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: Well, congratulations on the book.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's awesome.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: Is this your first book?
- 2:42[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you've written a book before.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: This is my first one.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's funny because so many people say, Cliff, aren't you worried about the left, you know, learning all of your secrets?
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: I might listen.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_01]: The left has hundreds of books.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: They're all public.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: We can read them.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_01]: All their strategies are out there.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: So then all the people on the left read it.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: And they win.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: So this is the first time I'm putting it out there because I want Patriots to learn from the Muslims.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: Learn from the mistakes I made so you don't have to make them.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: So the whole point of the book is for people that want to run, they want to win, and they want to stay principle.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: That's the key.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_00]: Before we get into this book again, it's run right a complete election playbook to win.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's absolutely brilliant.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_00]: I do want to go back to a little bit your origin story, you know, where it all started because you described at one point how in 2020, Biden won Pennsylvania by 80,000.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: But I remember you telling me this.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's probably our first interview together.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: And we've done, I don't know, a dozen or so since then,
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: Biden wins Pennsylvania by 8,000 votes.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_00]: But then you give me a stat of 141 Pennsylvania Republicans had already requested mail in ballots, but they never sent them back.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: And then when you saw that number,
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: You know, what went through your mind, how did that become the spark for everything you built?
- 4:05[SPEAKER_01]: Well, to be fair, that number was given to me by Charlie Kirk and Tyler Boyer at Turning Point, because at that moment, I think I told the story on the show, but that was kind of the reason why we launched the Pennsylvania chase was they approached me and said, look, they said, we're doing Arizona and Wisconsin, this is Turning Point, you know, for a full-fledged ground game, they said Pennsylvania, you know, the White House
- 4:30[SPEAKER_01]: they really want to see something firm in Pennsylvania.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: And so when they were trying to convince me, the moment that you reacted that way was the same way I reacted, which was when Charlie and his team said, Cliff, listen, 80,000 votes is allegedly what Biden won Pennsylvania by in 2020.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_01]: 141,000 Republicans went through the process of requesting a mail in ballot, got the ballots sent to their house, they never voted.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: And that was, it's a great question to see because that was the moment where I said, wow, this is what needs to change.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_01]: Right, this is the missing piece.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's not to tell the vision ads, it's not the messaging, it's not the text or the digital ads or the mailers.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: We have to do with the Democrats do, which is go door to door and pound on the door, these people that have these mail and ballots and get them to send it back.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_01]: In 2024, we had more ballots out,
- 5:27[SPEAKER_01]: but only 60,000 that didn't return, which is still too high.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: But we went from 141 to 60,000.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: We got to continue to lower that every single election cycle to get as many of them back.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: And what I love about this book is it's not, I mean, you're very principled fellow.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: There's no question about that.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: But you're not so much interested in ideas or ideology or issues.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: You're interested in infrastructure.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: You're interested in the very process by which
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: elections play out.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: And so you argue in many respects that you kind of learn that from the left.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_00]: The left doesn't win because their ideas are better.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: They win because they organize better.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: And for decades, concerns obviously have had better polling numbers, better policies, better candidates and many races, but they still lose.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: So walk us through exactly what the left is doing in the field, as it were, that the right has just been completely oblivious to.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: Well, what do I meant towards Morton Blackwell?
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: One of his principles is political technology is ideologically neutral, right?
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: And that's exactly what you just said, Dr. Steve, where it's like,
- 6:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's not even about the ideas, the technology or the tactics, if you will, right?
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like what you're doing for strategy to win has nothing to do with your ideology.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: Now people can argue, oh, well, the message and who you're talking, sure, some of that.
- 6:56[SPEAKER_01]: But that's why I take some of the left's best ideas.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: And so to answer your question directly, what is the left doing?
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: The left understands, or at least understood, that by expanding the time that you can vote,
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: It will allow for a lot more what we call low propensity voters people that are unlikely to vote.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: It makes it easier for them to vote.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_01]: So they took a bet that if they changed these rules, Republicans would fight it and Republicans wouldn't take advantage of it.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_01]: And for a while they were right.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_01]: 2020 through 2023, you know, Republicans kind of, I mean, I was one of them, right?
- 7:33[SPEAKER_01]: You were one, we all were, we all said no, no, no, no, we don't trust it, let's vote at the polls.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: But then we kind of realized, after the 2023 blood bath and some of these off-year elections, like, we gotta, we gotta fight fire with fire.
- 7:45[SPEAKER_01]: We gotta play this game.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: And so, that's what I'm trying to do.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: Talk about a lot in the book is just to understand the rules have changed.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: In Pennsylvania, let me give you a specific step.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: November 3rd, 2026, this upcoming November, midterm election, we have three swing congressional districts.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_01]: We want all three of them in 2024.
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: All three of them are pretty much work polling that we are not going to win them, right?
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's close, but we're down a point or two in each of them, just based on generic trends, right?
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: In Pennsylvania on November 3rd, if you just look at the data, 900,000 Republicans are expected to not vote.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's the rub, right?
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: That is my whole focus.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_01]: The Democrats, by the way, it's the same number.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: It might be like 850,000, right?
- 8:38[SPEAKER_01]: Because a lot of their people are now high-prepensity.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_01]: Because they get up a ballot every election, right?
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: That's the rub.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's the whole focus is how do we get those 900,000 registered Republicans, right?
- 8:50[SPEAKER_01]: They don't need convincing.
- 8:51[SPEAKER_01]: They don't need persuaded.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: We don't need to message to them.
- 8:54[SPEAKER_01]: We just gotta get them to vote.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: So how do you get them to vote?
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: We're not in 750,000 doors this year in and off a midterm, right?
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: We did 500,000 for president.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: Now we're saying, look, we got to step this up.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: So we're not in 750,000 doors using the left's playbook,
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: to get to those 900,000 people.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: Brilliant and you have the proof the proof of concept from from 2024.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: That's when we started working together You raised or call you raised 3 million.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: It was a I've seen you raise more brother Since then I've like wow this guy's amazing we were down to the Florida together I was like this guy is unbelievable.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean you you know how to do it.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: That's for sure Yeah, hired 120 people in my correct on that 100 way
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: You set up, you know, like Airbnb's around the state.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: 10 Airbnb's.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, you set a specific public target.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, I remember it, you explained it to me.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_00]: Again, this is what I love about what you're all about.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: Numbers, you're all about infrastructure.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: You wanted to get Trump's mail-in percentage from the 20% that we saw in 2020.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: You wanted it up around 33% if I recall, right?
- 10:12[SPEAKER_00]: But you actually hit more than that.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_00]: So take us inside that operation.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: What did your people actually say when they knocked on these doors and why did we, where we had some of our turly talkers come out with you and and do that as well.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: And gang, I'm going to give you some information later on at how you can get in touch with Cliff and help him out what he's doing or getting involved.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, walk us through a little bit of that, that proof of concept there.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it was a wild ride.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_01]: And I make sure I plug this, runrightbook.com.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: It folks do want to get a hold of the book, runrightbook.com.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: And Steve, I got to tell you, it's funny.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: You mentioned we had a couple of the folks from a totally nation come out.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_01]: There was a lot.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_01]: We did a final sprint program in Central PA for Scott Perry.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, I probably counted 15 or 20 people in the room.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_01]: that, you know, hey, you know, we, we saw you on Dr. Charlie's show and we trust, we trust even, you know, we want to make a difference and Scott Perry's a Patriot, so it was a lot of folks.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: It was a wild ride.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, look, there's a lot of things we learned.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying we did it wrong, but there were things that you learned when you'd do this for the first time.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: The first thing is we only ran the program like August through Election Day.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_01]: And what I realized is the value in getting someone to request a mail-in ballot versus getting them to actually send it in.
- 11:33[SPEAKER_01]: We found that out of the low propensity, if they got a ballot, and we never talked to them, still seven out of 10 of those people, send their ballot back.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: So the request is very valuable.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: So how did we adjust for this year?
- 11:48[SPEAKER_01]: We launched January 1.
- 11:50[SPEAKER_01]: just like the left does, right?
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: I always was wondering, why are they out there so early?
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, it's got to be diminishing returns.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's 11 months until the election.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: Well, now I understand because if you get them to fill out the request form, there are so many more of those people are going to vote just because they got the ballot.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: So we're matching that.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: We've been in the three-swing congressional districts since January,
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: We are obviously helping Stacy Garrity who's running against Josh Shapiro, but she's on every ballot.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like 2024.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: You know, McCormick, Trump, all the statewide, they love this, but they didn't care where we're not, because every door we knocked on, they benefited, right?
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's how Stacy is this year with the governor's race.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: So, it's a lot of logistics.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this is the part I don't think people understand.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we have a staff of 40 individuals that are full-time W2 employees because, and obviously there's multiple states we're working in, but I'm just telling people like, to hire 120 full-time people.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: And this year, by the way, we're looking to hire 150 just for the record, put it out there.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: And we've got that, we're just scaling, you know, as we get closer to it, but to higher 150 people, you know, we're talking over 1,000 applications.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: And to get a thousand applications, I mean, this is, you know, it's, it's a logistical nightmare, but it's a challenge that left us.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: So we have to match it.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_01]: We have to do it.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_01]: You know, to interview those folks, to book the Airbnb's, to book the hotels that will put our volunteers in for our final sprint program again this year.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: right to manage folks to run payroll, running payroll for 150 people that you won't board in, you know, in the last month.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's, there's just so much of that that I'm proud of my team and, you know, we've, we've come a long way.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: We've done this now for pretty much 10 years.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: We've built these programs.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_01]: So we know the tricks of the tray, what makes it work, the incentive bonuses, most important thing is quality control.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think a lot of
- 13:51[SPEAKER_01]: And when I say that, I think people are like, oh my gosh, like, what are you who you hire?
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm like, no, we're running a company, right?
- 13:57[SPEAKER_01]: We hire based on ideology.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_01]: So a lot of our people are patriots, but if people don't perform guess what?
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: See, later.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_01]: We have to have a good ROI.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_01]: We have to have quality control.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: But I'd encourage all your listeners, you know, come on out, see what it's like for yourself, you know, we'll send volunteers out with our paid door knockers, they get to have the experience, they can kind of get trained up by some of these, you know, 22 year olds are trained at 60 year olds, which is always great.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_01]: But doorswindwars.com if people want to get involved, if they want to sponsor about a chaser, if they want to come out, send us a note, they have a weekend they can come out and volunteer or they want to come out for the final sprint.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_01]: We're a big tent, right?
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: As long as you're a patriot, maybe not that big, depending on who you're talking to, but these programs are a bunch of fun.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_01]: And it's exciting, one good conversation at the door.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_01]: Makes kind of everything you're doing and realize the power of why we're out there.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: And what's cool, what our audience should know too is you're not going to neutral doors as it were.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to doors a peak of Republicans who requested a ballot and you're making sure that they're sending it in.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not like you're going to, from door to door, trying to convince people, per side.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: Right?
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and there's two phases.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_01]: I always like to make this as clear as I can.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: The first phase being you're going to the door with a request form.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: and you're targeting a low-prepensive Republican, right, register Republican that's not likely to vote.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_01]: That 900,000 universe of people in Pennsylvania that I mentioned that are registered Republican but not likely to vote.
- 15:34[SPEAKER_01]: That's phase one.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_01]: Here's a request for him.
- 15:36[SPEAKER_01]: I need you to sign it and write down your driver's license number.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: And we can take those, Steve, just to be clear, we can touch them, we can pre-fill them out.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_01]: Once they sign it, we can take it, we get it to the county office.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_01]: That gets a valid sentence.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: That's phase one.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: Phase two, we've got 67 counties in Pennsylvania.
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: All of them send out their ballots whenever they want.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: It's under bedlam, but we like that.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not trying to centralize power.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: But whenever the ballots hit, phase two begins, which is our whole universe shifts, not with the low propensities, any Republican that has a ballot.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_01]: That's phase two.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: We go to the door.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_01]: We cannot touch the ballot.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_01]: We cannot fill out the ballot.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: We cannot handle it whatsoever.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: But we can encourage them.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's a reminder campaign.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_01]: To me, you laugh at how many people's doors we go to that have a Trump sign in their yard.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_01]: They have a Trump hat on the edge of the door and they voted in one of the last four presidential elections.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy, man.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's crazy.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to American politics, right?
- 16:42[SPEAKER_00]: You know, my, my next question, I mean, that you, you, you, you, you cut it up perfectly.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_00]: Um, segue then to it.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's so explained to everyone.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think you really already are.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: Why fate, good old fashioned?
- 16:57[SPEAKER_00]: traditional face-to-face contact is still the most powerful force in American politics.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_00]: You know, a lot of people think just a viral expost is enough.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, I think we've learned the hard way, particularly in 2022.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: No, it's not.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_00]: Why is, why did doors win wars?
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: The best answer to that question is looking at the literature, right?
- 17:23[SPEAKER_01]: There have been studies out there for years, even people on the left to put it out there once again, political technology, political strategy is ideologically neutral.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: So I don't mind looking to the left understand what works and what doesn't work.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: So the numbers tell us that one out of every nine conversations is a new vote.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's, wow.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, well, how does that stack up against the other ways?
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it takes 35 phone conversations.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: So let's think about that.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_01]: Steve, how many times do you answer the phone when you get a call from a number you don't know?
- 17:51[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody answers anymore.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: Those studies are from 10 years ago.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, literally never.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_00]: I never.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_00]: None of us, right, none of us pick up.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't, I don't even pick up when you call me.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: That's true.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: I'd struggle to get through.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_01]: So I got to talk to Ralph to get to you, so the truth is, it probably, I don't even how many calls you have to make to have 35 conversations.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you're talking weeks of time to try to get 35 cold people on the phone.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 18:18[SPEAKER_01]: I always tell people, you know, when you look at all the different ways of electioneering, it really, it is the most effective ROI.
- 18:26[SPEAKER_01]: But here's the other thing.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's also the hardest electioneering to do.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: So it's a great job security for me, because a lot of people on the right, they'd rather just work with a TV ad buyer and somebody that does their creative, you know, they, they, they, they,
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: build the ad to the TV ad, and that's it.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: They get their 15% commission.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: Who wants to deal with interviewing 800 people, right?
- 18:47[SPEAKER_01]: Signing contracts, dealing with Airbnb's, dealing with gas cards, right?
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's a logistical incentive to not get involved, but the other thing that I don't
- 19:02[SPEAKER_01]: numerically look at this, but I just, I get this feel, and I believe it to be true.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_01]: We are so oversaturated with the TV ads, with the mailers, with the tech, how many times a day do I respond with stop or unsub on a text message?
- 19:18[SPEAKER_01]: Right, putting a 22-year-old girl or a 22-year-old guy add somebody's door with a clipboard, a smiling face, and all they're saying is, hey, I know you're a patriot.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to figure out if you have a plan to vote.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_01]: I want to remind you here, fill out this form.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's an uplifting conversation, even if it's a, I don't want to say a bad interaction, but even if it's quick.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, yeah, no, I got my bow.
- 19:40[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to send it back.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks so much, door closets.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's just that moment that it's real, right?
- 19:46[SPEAKER_01]: It's not the six different mallers in your mailbox everyone directly in the trash can, right?
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's a real person, there's real momentum.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I think 2024 taught me this.
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: There's power and authenticity.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_01]: We saw this with the hatred for Kamala and the love for Trump.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: We saw this with the long form podcast interviews, the Trump and JD did that they refuse to do.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_01]: People want to be a little deeper.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: They want to be authentic and someone at the door creates that experience.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's so awesome.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_00]: Again, gang, the book is run right a complete election playbook to win by our good friend Cliff Baloney.
- 20:26[SPEAKER_00]: And is it Josh Lysec?
- 20:27[SPEAKER_00]: There's you had a not co-author as well.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_00]: Is that my saying is name right?
- 20:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Joshua Lysec.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: So just real quick to give a 30 second story on it.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: So me and Justin Gris, my COO.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_01]: The joke is I raised the money Justin Spends it.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: He's got the better.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_01]: He's got the much better part of the deal But we we sat with Joshua who's a great author New York Times best selling anti-communist Author which Steve you might want to start putting that in your title.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's Great, but we we sat with him for you know, I mean gosh a week and we showed him our whole curriculum We showed him our whole playbook.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_01]: We showed him
- 21:02[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we told him different stories, and then he kind of compiled it all and went back and forth, editing, it was fascinating process.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: But it's exciting.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there's a lot of random people that, you know, are now reading it.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_01]: They're giving me feedback, current electives that are picking it up.
- 21:16[SPEAKER_01]: So, hey, I never realized this is why that happened to me.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: And now I'm going to change it moving forward.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_01]: But it's been a great experience.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_01]: Run right book.com.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_01]: If folks want to get a copy.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we'll have the link down below.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_00]: So, all right, so here we go, last question.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_00]: Everyone watching this video has just clicked on that link.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: They're getting this wonderful book, and not just for yourself, get it for the Patriots in your life.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure everyone knows the playbook on how to win the midterms and beyond.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_00]: So they've done that, they've read through the book, they closed the last, you know, the back cover, what do they do, Cliff, and they want to change the world.
- 21:54[SPEAKER_00]: They want to get involved, what should they do?
- 21:56[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so number one, if you want to actually run for office, get a whole to meet ClifMalone.com, happy to talk to you, talk strategy, help you, and it may be it's not me, but I can point you to somebody else that can help put a plan together to run.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_01]: Come to a campaign academy that we run.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_01]: You know, would love that.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_01]: We're running them all the time across the country.
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: That's a one day training.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_01]: We do on Saturdays.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_01]: So reach out once again.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to figure out what our schedule is for that, ClifMalone.com.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_01]: And then look, the biggest ask I have to, all of the termination, and you guys saved us in 2024, we were going to have to pull at least two Airbnb's for the final two weeks, but folks stepped up to sponsor a balachaser.
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: I have people on the ground right now in Pennsylvania in the three swing districts that if my math is right, we'll likely decide control of the U.S. house.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_01]: We need Airbnb sponsors, we need Gatorade sponsors, we need a full day of ballad chasing, $175.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_01]: I've said this on your show before Steve, I'll say it again, 100% of that money goes towards the ballad chasers pay, housing, and gas cards.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_01]: There's no commissions, there's no consultants, there's no money off the top, all of that goes to the ballad chasers.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: Folks want to do that specific to P.A.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: P.A.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: Chase.com.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_01]: PHAs.com, they can sponsor a ballachaser.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's one of the best ways, if you can't sponsor, come out to Pennsylvania.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be running a program with free hotel rooms.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_01]: That'll be run as we lead up probably in October.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: But keep an eye out for that.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_01]: Get on our mailing list.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_01]: Really, really have to say this, Dr. Steve.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate you.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_01]: All of Terrain Nation, they've always taken care of us.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: And we're in this fight together, so thank you so much.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: Well, thank you Cliff, it's our honor.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_00]: And it's just awesome.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_00]: And again, I just loved watching the conference that we had in Palm Beach.
- 23:46[SPEAKER_00]: And just a Nick Shirley was there right after he just broke after he.
- 23:49[SPEAKER_00]: He just, he did the good old speaking of good old fashion on the beat reporting that the legacy media used to do, but of course, since relinquished since they became propagandists.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_00]: And so we were just, we just had this amazing, amazing time jack-to-so-mic was there was incredible just watching this organization that you've built, this national organization that you built,
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: local.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_00]: So gang, look, the midterms have just started.
- 24:21[SPEAKER_00]: They've started now.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_00]: And this is the definitive playbook.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_00]: This is the proven blueprint for victory.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_00]: Again, the book is run right a complete election playbook to win.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_00]: It's not theory.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's practical.
