- 0:01Speaker 1: The Blaze Inconfused podcast is rated M for marijuana no minors.
- 0:05Speaker 2: But your audience is old.
- 0:08Speaker 3: You know what I can't do is smoke in the
- 0:09Speaker 3: morning like I used to. I haven't done that, like
- 0:11Speaker 3: before work or never long awaken, bake is awaken.
- 0:16Speaker 2: I can't do that anymore. I don't drink. I don't
- 0:18Speaker 2: drink in the morning anymore.
- 0:19Speaker 3: No, it's probably for the best. Can you drink in
- 0:21Speaker 3: the morning?
- 0:22Speaker 2: I go.
- 0:25Speaker 3: I'm just happy that people are getting a little bit
- 0:27Speaker 3: more comfortable with this stuff because it's twenty twenty five.
- 0:31Speaker 3: It's just a plant. It makes everything better. It's better
- 0:33Speaker 3: for than this stuff.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Yeah, and.
- 0:37Speaker 1: About it, Yeah, tell the people what you just asked for.
- 0:39Speaker 1: I said, you want to drink, and you said, well,
- 0:41Speaker 1: you offered me a beer.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I did. I offered you a beer. To what you said,
- 0:44Speaker 2: strong beer?
- 0:45Speaker 4: An I p a to what you said, do you
- 0:47Speaker 4: have any vodka? It does make me sound like but
- 0:51Speaker 4: it's for health reasons. And he just came from the bar.
- 0:54Speaker 4: I just came from a quick little vodka.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Later.
- 0:57Speaker 5: Would you rather be drunk or high? I guess now drunk.
- 1:00Speaker 5: I was telling Becker, I have a maybe like a
- 1:03Speaker 5: year and a half ago, I had a bad experience,
- 1:08Speaker 5: experience like greened out or what what does that mean?
- 1:11Speaker 5: Greened out?
- 1:12Speaker 3: Like it's like the marijuana version of being drunk being black?
- 1:15Speaker 3: But I don't know, so what is it like? Are
- 1:17Speaker 3: you just zoned out kind of thing?
- 1:19Speaker 5: Pretty much, No, Pilot, I have a tendency to go
- 1:25Speaker 5: anxiety mode.
- 1:25Speaker 2: We didn't even introduce our guests yet. You know who
- 1:27Speaker 2: it is, Tyler.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Goddamn it, dude, I fucking hate that.
- 1:34Speaker 2: I cursed you're allowed to it's again, dude.
- 1:39Speaker 5: I just do you know how like how many people
- 1:42Speaker 5: at this point have asked me and they're they're not
- 1:45Speaker 5: even in business anymore, and people like you for like
- 1:47Speaker 5: the kind of.
- 1:50Speaker 2: No, no, no, and honestly you're not.
- 1:53Speaker 3: I'm not. Anytime I brought your name up to people,
- 1:57Speaker 3: whether it's family or whatever, they're like, oh, is the
- 1:59Speaker 3: guy who works with the you know, the car dealership?
- 2:01Speaker 4: Yes, I like no different roth Rock.
- 2:05Speaker 5: I can't escape it. I'm gonna have nightmares about this.
- 2:10Speaker 5: I'm actually not going to listen back to this episode
- 2:13Speaker 5: that Tyler Rothrock comedian. Hey, thanks for having me, great guy.
- 2:19Speaker 5: That's very nice for me to say. Vodka drinker, I do.
- 2:22Speaker 5: I'm doing the vodka because of the carbs. Yeah yeah,
- 2:26Speaker 5: so no more. This over here doesn't have any carbs
- 2:30Speaker 5: in it. I know, but before I was rudely interrupted
- 2:32Speaker 5: by the rothrock jingle.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Sorry, no, I can't, I can't do. We were both
- 2:38Speaker 3: really excited about it. I can't believe you have that.
- 2:42Speaker 3: That sucks anyway, you were rudely interrupted your story. Why
- 2:47Speaker 3: you don't really take much?
- 2:49Speaker 2: Have you guys seen the show The Watcher? No? Oh wait?
- 2:52Speaker 2: Is it about the house in Okay?
- 2:56Speaker 5: No spoiler is coming, but the show is about a
- 2:58Speaker 5: house that is like being watched over by They get letters, right,
- 3:02Speaker 5: they get letters by this creepy but they don't know who.
- 3:04Speaker 5: They can't figure out who the Watcher is. So I
- 3:06Speaker 5: don't like these types of shows. Okay, I don't enjoy
- 3:09Speaker 5: being scared. Okay, but I'm into the show. So it's
- 3:13Speaker 5: like probably three am. Now I've watched like four or
- 3:15Speaker 5: five episodes in a row, and I just can't fall asleep.
- 3:17Speaker 5: I'm stoned. I'm starting to get anxiety. I'm not trusting anything.
- 3:20Speaker 5: I'm looking at her like she what does she doing?
- 3:23Speaker 5: Like she might be putting letters in people's you know,
- 3:25Speaker 5: I'm freaking out.
- 3:26Speaker 2: I'm just like all these wild thoughts.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Right. So there's a part in the show where Stiffler's
- 3:31Speaker 5: mom from American Pie Jennifer cool Itch, Jennifer Coolidge, she's
- 3:35Speaker 5: in the show. She buys the house and she's now
- 3:37Speaker 5: living in it, and she believes.
- 3:39Speaker 2: That the watcher is in the house.
- 3:41Speaker 5: Right, Okay, So in this scene, she says out loud
- 3:44Speaker 5: good night, and then I hear a response back that
- 3:48Speaker 5: says good night. And I keep watching and I'm like,
- 3:51Speaker 5: why was that in the show? Why was that response
- 3:54Speaker 5: in the show? That doesn't make any sense? But I'm high.
- 3:56Speaker 5: I'm like, it's in the show. You're just freaking out, man, Yeah,
- 3:59Speaker 5: rewind it. Rewatch the scene. It's in there, and you're
- 4:02Speaker 5: gonna move on with your life. I rewind it. It's
- 4:05Speaker 5: not shot in the show. So now I'm like peeking
- 4:09Speaker 5: fore I'm thinking I'm hearing stuff.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Oh like like that my brain.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I'm like, will I ever go back to who I
- 4:15Speaker 3: was before?
- 4:17Speaker 5: And so Bowie the dog Bowie has a tendency to
- 4:20Speaker 5: hit the remote. So I'm like, maybe she hit the
- 4:22Speaker 5: voice command and it was dormant and when she said
- 4:25Speaker 5: good night. Siri responded to that, so then I pulled
- 4:29Speaker 5: the thing out and I don't want to wake Nail
- 4:30Speaker 5: me up. Right she's there, So I'm like, I press
- 4:33Speaker 5: the thing, I'm like good night and nothing, and I
- 4:37Speaker 5: just am like a little louder good night. So I
- 4:40Speaker 5: do this for It could have been five minutes, it
- 4:42Speaker 5: could have been one hour of time, Like I'm on
- 4:44Speaker 5: the verge of tiers to be honest with you.
- 4:46Speaker 2: Finally I say it loud enough, I'm like.
- 4:47Speaker 5: Good night, wakes her up, and the thing responded good night,
- 4:51Speaker 5: So I'm like, you know, it was that. But then
- 4:54Speaker 5: then I was like, wait, were you saying good night
- 4:57Speaker 5: like for the last fifteen minutes by yourself? And I'm like, yeah,
- 5:00Speaker 5: I can't smoke weed. I just can't smoke weed. I
- 5:03Speaker 5: can't do it because I freak out. I convinced myself
- 5:05Speaker 5: of like warped reality, and then I get scared that
- 5:07Speaker 5: I'll never go back to who I was every time.
- 5:10Speaker 5: I'm like, what if I'm like this forever? But I'll
- 5:12Speaker 5: talk myself into freaking out. Yeah you know, well you're
- 5:17Speaker 5: in that perfect podcast. It sounds like, yeah, so did
- 5:21Speaker 5: you want one of these? No let me get through
- 5:24Speaker 5: this vodka.
- 5:26Speaker 2: Good night.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I guess soon we will have like a fully sober
- 5:30Speaker 1: guest on the podcast.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Well, we've been discussing this.
- 5:33Speaker 3: The idea was that we were going to have everybody
- 5:36Speaker 3: that was a guest take high, take.
- 5:40Speaker 4: Part, take hi, young sir.
- 5:44Speaker 3: And then he and I discussed that, hey, maybe it
- 5:46Speaker 3: would be cool to have somebody that's not at all
- 5:48Speaker 3: so that they can kind of screw with us.
- 5:50Speaker 5: You know, well obviously I can't, like I don't even
- 5:53Speaker 5: do comedy drunk.
- 5:54Speaker 2: Yeah, Like, wait a second, don't you have a show
- 5:56Speaker 2: tonight like I'll do sometimes?
- 5:59Speaker 1: Like Tyler roth Rock, comedian, our second guest on the
- 6:06Speaker 1: Blaze and Confused podcast, which we're going to start right
- 6:08Speaker 1: about now.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Or now.
- 6:12Speaker 6: Welcome to the Blazed and Confused Podcast with Becker and Joel,
- 6:17Speaker 6: the trivia podcast where the questions are.
- 6:19Speaker 2: High, and so are they.
- 6:21Speaker 6: Hat's time to sluk your curiosity and light up some knowledge.
- 6:25Speaker 6: The Blazed and Confused Podcast starts.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Now, all right, episode two. Here we are.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Hey, I'm Becker and I'm Joel, and it's a Blazing
- 6:38Speaker 1: Confused podcast. So we ask each other some you know,
- 6:40Speaker 1: trivia questions. We hang out with the One, the Only Tyler.
- 6:48Speaker 2: Tonight.
- 6:49Speaker 5: Yeah and forever you alreadykneed that. Hey, thank you for
- 6:51Speaker 5: being our second guest. I'm honored to be your second
- 6:55Speaker 5: guest after Bob Holder.
- 6:57Speaker 2: So perfect, perfect perfect? How'd you brought that up?
- 7:01Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 7:01Speaker 1: Because you know, Becker even said he's like, wow, how
- 7:03Speaker 1: lucky are we? We get a comedian two weeks in
- 7:05Speaker 1: a row, right right, right, self proclaimed comedia just.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Older Bob, He'll be he is whatever he wants to
- 7:12Speaker 3: be that day.
- 7:14Speaker 1: So I get a text last week from my fourth
- 7:17Speaker 1: grade teacher, mister Spencer, right.
- 7:19Speaker 3: Because we both have been getting great feedback about the show.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Oh good, good, you what you love?
- 7:23Speaker 5: You love to get good feedback, that's the point, right,
- 7:25Speaker 5: I think that's the best feedback to get.
- 7:27Speaker 1: The one thing though, that I will say is now
- 7:29Speaker 1: I listen back and I'm like, God, am I really that?
- 7:31Speaker 2: Like fucking stupid?
- 7:32Speaker 1: Like I listened back and there's you know, it's just
- 7:35Speaker 1: like certain people, not that I don't want them to listen,
- 7:39Speaker 1: but it's like I can't imagine certain people listening to
- 7:42Speaker 1: this podcast.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Case in point, my fourth grade teacher, who, mister Spence,
- 7:46Speaker 2: did you get a fourth grade fact wrong? Is that?
- 7:49Speaker 2: How dumb you are? Is that?
- 7:51Speaker 3: What was that your last in school? Youre of school?
- 7:53Speaker 1: No, honestly and truly last week on the podcast. Not
- 7:56Speaker 1: that we keep scoring with the trivia questions or anything.
- 7:58Speaker 1: But I think I got allmine correct. You got all
- 8:00Speaker 1: yours wrong, right, And.
- 8:01Speaker 3: I think you got them all correct. I think you
- 8:02Speaker 3: got two. Maybe you got me. No, I think I
- 8:04Speaker 3: got them all correct.
- 8:05Speaker 2: All right?
- 8:06Speaker 4: Fine, well he can only counts it to fuck off anyway.
- 8:10Speaker 4: So I get a text.
- 8:11Speaker 1: From my fourth grade teacher, mister Spencer, who side don't
- 8:14Speaker 1: great fucking teacher, the best teacher I ever had, dude?
- 8:17Speaker 2: He was like, cool, Can I ask a question?
- 8:19Speaker 6: Though?
- 8:20Speaker 1: How does he have your number? Because we text sometimes? Wait,
- 8:23Speaker 1: hopefully you weird?
- 8:25Speaker 2: No?
- 8:25Speaker 5: No, no, I've not had honestly, Can you tell me
- 8:29Speaker 5: how that came about?
- 8:30Speaker 2: Like, hey, I think that.
- 8:31Speaker 1: I like read to his class a couple of years
- 8:33Speaker 1: ago or something like I came in for a career day. No,
- 8:36Speaker 1: I came in for like a career day.
- 8:38Speaker 3: To talk about reading to a bunch of kids. You
- 8:42Speaker 3: can't picture me doing that reading?
- 8:45Speaker 2: Shut off.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Yeah, So, mister Spencer text me your new podcast is
- 8:50Speaker 1: legit crazy. I got to hear that audio clip that
- 8:55Speaker 1: was censored, which everybody's asking me for that.
- 8:58Speaker 3: I really wanted to hear that.
- 8:59Speaker 2: I know.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I just thought, I don't think we can do it.
- 9:00Speaker 1: When's the next one. I was telling Chase about it
- 9:03Speaker 1: today at lunch. Chase is the second grade teacher who
- 9:05Speaker 1: was also a great teacher. I'm sitting there the other
- 9:07Speaker 1: night and I'm thinking, oh my god, my elementary school
- 9:10Speaker 1: teachers are listening to this podcast about me sitting around
- 9:13Speaker 1: and smoking marijuana.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Like it's just it just makes me feel weird. However,
- 9:17Speaker 2: I mean them feel like a failure. I'm sure. He
- 9:21Speaker 2: says that Bob guy is quite the character.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I got a lot of that too. That guy
- 9:26Speaker 1: is weird. And I said this earlier to him.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Love Bob.
- 9:31Speaker 1: We can talk about this because he was on the
- 9:33Speaker 1: first episode. He fucking loved it. He thought it was hilarious, which,
- 9:36Speaker 1: by the way, after we recorded this episode two days later,
- 9:39Speaker 1: he was like, I.
- 9:41Speaker 2: Don't know, I don't think I can be on it.
- 9:43Speaker 2: The more I thought about it, I think you should
- 9:44Speaker 2: delete that episode.
- 9:45Speaker 5: You're on it?
- 9:46Speaker 1: Literally Yeah, And I was just like, I don't care.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna post it anywhere. Yeah, So he annoyed me
- 9:51Speaker 1: the whole time about it. But I said to him
- 9:52Speaker 1: an hour ago, I said, the funny thing is, we
- 9:54Speaker 1: can bust on Bob all we want on this episode
- 9:56Speaker 1: because he was in the first episode.
- 9:57Speaker 2: He's not going to listen to this one to the next.
- 10:00Speaker 1: He's gonna listen to the next one that he's guess wrong,
- 10:03Speaker 1: Bob will be the next one.
- 10:04Speaker 3: Yeah, he's gonna be checked out till whenever we allow him.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Bob holder on it again, exactly.
- 10:09Speaker 1: And it sucks because I love Bob, I really do,
- 10:11Speaker 1: and I'd love to get his perspective.
- 10:13Speaker 3: He's funny, he is, he's got He's very passionate about
- 10:16Speaker 3: his opinions. Okay, and here's what I'll say about Bob's opinions.
- 10:20Speaker 3: My opinion about Bob's opinions, they're wholly his. They're not
- 10:26Speaker 3: influenced by fact, by news, by any outside source. He
- 10:31Speaker 3: just he does make them on his own. So you
- 10:35Speaker 3: got to give him some price. You know, he thinks
- 10:39Speaker 3: for himself. He does a lot of it.
- 10:41Speaker 2: He's not he's not.
- 10:42Speaker 5: He doesn't have to like adhere to fact like we do.
- 10:45Speaker 5: Like the rest of the the rest of the people like,
- 10:48Speaker 5: you know, we were beholden to like the truth, not Bob.
- 10:53Speaker 3: Bob well, you know, he was all worried. He was like,
- 10:56Speaker 3: I'm worried about my my, my image.
- 10:58Speaker 2: And yeah a show.
- 11:01Speaker 3: You know, he was doing a lot of that, and uh,
- 11:05Speaker 3: you know, I just wish that the stigma would go
- 11:07Speaker 3: away about what do you mean it's just older people. Yeah,
- 11:11Speaker 3: it's good for you. It makes everything better. You know,
- 11:14Speaker 3: there's a lot of actors, celebrities coming out. They don't
- 11:17Speaker 3: care anymore. This is what I do for fun, is
- 11:19Speaker 3: what makes me feel happy. But here, here's my whole thing.
- 11:22Speaker 3: What happened with the Olympics recently. There was that one
- 11:26Speaker 3: one woman that was stuck in a different country for Brittany.
- 11:30Speaker 2: That's horrible. Who else was like chastise about it?
- 11:33Speaker 6: Oh?
- 11:33Speaker 3: Michael Felkes felt Michael like, wait a minute, don't you,
- 11:39Speaker 3: Tyler know Michael Phelps?
- 11:41Speaker 2: I would I know him.
- 11:45Speaker 5: I don't know if he would not, I wouldn't say
- 11:47Speaker 5: we what happened, Tyler?
- 11:52Speaker 2: I swam I swam him against them.
- 11:54Speaker 5: My friend Marco was in in the car and Phelps
- 11:57Speaker 5: came back to Marco's house for like we were at,
- 12:00Speaker 5: you know, having some fun.
- 12:01Speaker 3: We went to dinner, We got a couple of drinks.
- 12:02Speaker 3: I guess I was feeling it, feeling pretty good, feeling.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Like, uh, confident.
- 12:06Speaker 5: Well, I would say maybe pretty aerodynamic, all right.
- 12:10Speaker 2: And I see that I challenged him a little bit
- 12:14Speaker 2: of the swim race.
- 12:15Speaker 3: He before he got in trouble or whatever it was.
- 12:16Speaker 2: After he got in trouble. After what did he get
- 12:18Speaker 2: in trouble for? He was in a picture with a bong.
- 12:21Speaker 3: Somebody took a photo with smoking.
- 12:24Speaker 2: I was in like the fourth grade. I feel like
- 12:26Speaker 2: when I was Spencer on which, by the way, here's
- 12:31Speaker 2: my opinion on it.
- 12:31Speaker 5: If it's a performance enhancing drugs, I get it, okay.
- 12:35Speaker 5: But if you just won every gold medal and he smoking,
- 12:38Speaker 5: You're like, well, it must not be that bad. It's
- 12:41Speaker 5: the greatest swimmer of all time, like the lung capacity.
- 12:44Speaker 3: Can you imagine smoking weed with Michael Phelps?
- 12:47Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd lose. So back to the point, Yeah, what
- 12:53Speaker 1: happened with the race?
- 12:54Speaker 5: And I'm not going to say that he didn't He
- 12:56Speaker 5: wasn't training for this moment and I hadn't been training.
- 13:02Speaker 2: I would say he snuck up on me.
- 13:03Speaker 3: He called me off car, so we beat you narrowly.
- 13:08Speaker 3: How much of a head start did you get?
- 13:11Speaker 5: Okay, if I'm being honest, it was the Olympic sized pool.
- 13:15Speaker 5: He gave me a head start a length of the
- 13:17Speaker 5: pool and halfway back before he started.
- 13:20Speaker 3: It was impressive. Yeah, were you drinking?
- 13:24Speaker 2: We might have been. Yeah, we might have been.
- 13:26Speaker 3: I was just trying to see what state you were
- 13:27Speaker 3: in when you raced. Michael felt, Okay, what a story
- 13:31Speaker 3: do you tell?
- 13:32Speaker 5: I do tell people everybody everywhere you go, because I
- 13:37Speaker 5: don't think it's a flex. I don't think it's a flex.
- 13:38Speaker 5: He was very nice, very cool. Another side note of
- 13:41Speaker 5: this story. He was in Leigh Valley, right. We went
- 13:44Speaker 5: out to a restaurant Eastern I forget which one, and
- 13:46Speaker 5: the host at the restaurant was in college and she
- 13:52Speaker 5: was studying physiology or maybe human anatomy or something I think,
- 13:57Speaker 5: and I don't remember the class, but felt he was
- 14:01Speaker 5: on the cover of this text that her college textbook, right,
- 14:05Speaker 5: and she's like studying and he walked over, he saw
- 14:08Speaker 5: he was on the cover, and he was like, what's
- 14:10Speaker 5: who's on the cover of that?
- 14:11Speaker 2: And she like saw it.
- 14:13Speaker 3: She was like and he signed, oh, that's her cool
- 14:15Speaker 3: cover of the thing.
- 14:16Speaker 2: I love that.
- 14:16Speaker 5: It's pretty cool. Yeah, which she probably didn't get money
- 14:19Speaker 5: back for the That probably happens to you a lot,
- 14:21Speaker 5: right me being on the cover of a textbook, I
- 14:24Speaker 5: hope not.
- 14:24Speaker 3: I do not want to know what that book could
- 14:27Speaker 3: possibly be about. I mean just signing autographs. No, I
- 14:30Speaker 3: don't sign. I don't sign any Michael, but like your
- 14:33Speaker 3: thing better.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Michael Phelps got like canceled in two thousand and eight
- 14:37Speaker 1: or whatever for having a bong.
- 14:39Speaker 2: In this picture. Is that what it was?
- 14:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I canceled. It wasn't it was pretty canceled. He
- 14:42Speaker 5: he had got in trouble. I don't think he wasn't
- 14:44Speaker 5: like banned from water.
- 14:47Speaker 2: From water, you can't swim anymore.
- 14:52Speaker 3: On only doggy paddle for you going forward?
- 14:56Speaker 1: You can't swim anymore, dude, I just got board.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Listen to my new effects now.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Yeah, that'll haunt that.
- 15:05Speaker 2: That'll that can mess with people.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Joel, what's your what's your favorite car dealership from the past?
- 15:11Speaker 2: Oh, you know, if I had to pick one, i'd pick.
- 15:14Speaker 3: That's not what I wanted you to do. I wanted
- 15:15Speaker 3: you just say in.
- 15:16Speaker 1: That creepy voice, Oh, Okay, I'm pressing all the wrong buttons.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Shure.
- 15:21Speaker 5: Hey, Joe, can you try to do the jingle though?
- 15:23Speaker 5: And you're like a high pitch? Can you try to
- 15:24Speaker 5: do the Rothrock ch.
- 15:26Speaker 2: No, you didn't.
- 15:27Speaker 3: You didn't do it.
- 15:28Speaker 2: There you go that.
- 15:29Speaker 3: We want do the whole thing though, you and with
- 15:32Speaker 3: roth Rock.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Do we explain what this podcast does and what we
- 15:35Speaker 2: do on it? Yeah? Why don't you do that? We
- 15:37Speaker 2: uh serve up.
- 15:38Speaker 3: Some questions to each other. Joel and I write about
- 15:40Speaker 3: four questions for each other, and then our guest, whoever
- 15:43Speaker 3: it is today.
- 15:44Speaker 1: It is Tyler Rothrock, comedian and overall nice guy.
- 15:49Speaker 3: He's like a B rating he's like a good beat.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Ye get me in the next grade.
- 15:55Speaker 1: But we asked questions and then their topic starters and
- 15:57Speaker 1: we head off there.
- 15:59Speaker 3: So, Joe, are you gonna go first?
- 16:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll go first. Let's go there we go.
- 16:03Speaker 1: Question number one, So, which US state is farthest west?
- 16:11Speaker 3: My guess right off the bat? Hawaii?
- 16:14Speaker 2: Why it is not Hawaii?
- 16:19Speaker 3: Why?
- 16:20Speaker 6: Why?
- 16:20Speaker 2: Why is it not Hawaii? Why not?
- 16:24Speaker 5: That's a whole different explanation. We're not even right. First
- 16:27Speaker 5: of all, the earth is flat?
- 16:31Speaker 3: Oh great, I was hoping you were a fly. I've
- 16:36Speaker 3: been wanting to talk about this all right.
- 16:37Speaker 2: So here I'll give you a hint.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Oh Alaska?
- 16:42Speaker 2: Is it Alaska? Very good? Very good, very good? Man.
- 16:47Speaker 3: I thought Hawaii was like way further out in the ocean.
- 16:50Speaker 3: Then you see that guy's he's on TikTok, You're on TikTok.
- 16:53Speaker 2: Yeah. I don't make them, but I watch them. I'm
- 16:55Speaker 2: forty in an adult.
- 16:56Speaker 3: So so yes, No, he's sailing with his cat to
- 17:00Speaker 3: Whai from I did.
- 17:02Speaker 2: See, actually see this is a funny thing.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Me and Tyler saw it, and then Becker saw it
- 17:07Speaker 1: three weeks later because he watched it on reels Facebook.
- 17:10Speaker 3: Yeah, watched it on Entertainment tonight or something tonight.
- 17:17Speaker 1: Question two, Okay, here's another fun question drunk on trivia.
- 17:24Speaker 1: What is a shot of liquor and ounces in the
- 17:27Speaker 1: United States?
- 17:30Speaker 6: Like?
- 17:30Speaker 2: How many ounces is a shot? Is it five?
- 17:35Speaker 6: No?
- 17:36Speaker 2: Jesus, I wish who is it? One? One ounce?
- 17:45Speaker 1: Okay, So there's a I've discovered that there's a I
- 17:48Speaker 1: got called out in my trivia. I guess that is
- 17:50Speaker 1: I got called out. He's having five ounces of vodka,
- 17:54Speaker 1: So I guess I could give it to you for
- 17:58Speaker 1: one ounce. However, I learned a few things this week
- 18:01Speaker 1: about shots.
- 18:02Speaker 2: One point five. One point five.
- 18:03Speaker 1: Is considered a perfect shot because the double is three ounces.
- 18:07Speaker 3: I would say five ounces is a more perfect shot
- 18:09Speaker 3: than I would It depends on what you know. You're
- 18:13Speaker 3: trying to go to jail.
- 18:14Speaker 2: For that, Yeah, exactly. Question three?
- 18:17Speaker 1: Okay, so middle school biology? What molecule carries genetic information?
- 18:25Speaker 1: Oh man, when you hear the answer to this, it's
- 18:31Speaker 1: you're gonna be like, what the.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Information? What molecule carries genetic information? You know?
- 18:39Speaker 3: I really liked that stuff in school too. Yeah, and
- 18:42Speaker 3: I actually don't have a fucking clue you really like
- 18:46Speaker 3: genetic information? No, no, no, I like that that science.
- 18:50Speaker 2: I could give a fuck. It's so boring to me.
- 18:53Speaker 3: I struggled, molecule can you give me? Are there any
- 18:56Speaker 3: chance like choices? You know, I'm trying to think of, like.
- 18:59Speaker 2: What molecule carries genetic information? Do you do? You know anything?
- 19:03Speaker 2: What do you get?
- 19:04Speaker 3: Where do you get your genetic information from?
- 19:06Speaker 2: Tyler got twenty three in me? Twenty three in me?
- 19:10Speaker 2: Not anymore than just filed for bankruptcy?
- 19:12Speaker 3: Oh no, yeah, throw a hint out.
- 19:17Speaker 2: I don't really know how to give it. What letter
- 19:18Speaker 2: does it start with?
- 19:19Speaker 5: First of all, you should be able to ask. You
- 19:21Speaker 5: should be able to ask the trivia question. If you
- 19:23Speaker 5: can't give a hint, what's mitochondria? That's a powerhouse of
- 19:28Speaker 5: the cell. I remember that?
- 19:30Speaker 2: So I was, I'm on track.
- 19:31Speaker 3: No, you're not not at all part of a molecule, right,
- 19:35Speaker 3: isn't that how plants grow?
- 19:36Speaker 2: Oh?
- 19:36Speaker 3: That's photosynthesis?
- 19:38Speaker 1: Yeah, Jesus Christ, we're covering all the bases of science
- 19:43Speaker 1: that all right?
- 19:43Speaker 2: Do you want the answer? Yeah? Okay, So the answer
- 19:46Speaker 2: is DNA the molecule.
- 19:49Speaker 3: A molecule? Is that on the periodic table?
- 19:51Speaker 2: DNA? Does it have to be? I don't know, I.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Don't get Wait, what was the question again?
- 19:59Speaker 2: What's Oh? I thought you said? What? What? Like?
- 20:02Speaker 3: What's the acronym? DNA stand for? I know, nuggets anonymous?
- 20:07Speaker 1: DNA is a molecule because it's a chemical compound made
- 20:11Speaker 1: up of atoms bounded together.
- 20:13Speaker 2: I thought, So, what's the answer again, DNA? That's right?
- 20:17Speaker 2: Question four? Twenty? What? Okay? What's nine times six? You
- 20:25Speaker 2: should have a time period? Come on, I'm good. Twenty seven?
- 20:28Speaker 3: No, I'm sorry, no, no, no.
- 20:30Speaker 2: No, no, nine times sixty seventy two, seventy two. Sorry
- 20:34Speaker 2: you guys. Wait, hold that's still wrong.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Oh my god, sixty three sixty three still wrong.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Use your fingers in your toes nine. Let me go back.
- 20:44Speaker 3: It's fifty four for crying out loud.
- 20:47Speaker 2: I know these.
- 20:48Speaker 3: I know the I'm so good, I'm so good at man.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Oh my god, that was so good. Holy shit, holy shit.
- 20:59Speaker 2: I love how confident was the first. So confident he
- 21:02Speaker 2: thought he knew that's two hundred and five. I thought
- 21:10Speaker 2: I had it.
- 21:12Speaker 1: See this is so funny because I know my fourth
- 21:14Speaker 1: grade teacher is listening to this podcast now.
- 21:17Speaker 2: Dude, Like I said, best teacher I ever had.
- 21:19Speaker 1: If I think back to the best teachers I had,
- 21:21Speaker 1: he's definitely on the list.
- 21:23Speaker 2: We used to play this multiple what did he teach you? Well,
- 21:27Speaker 2: I mean I did shape you.
- 21:29Speaker 3: Okay, never mind, I shouldn't ship.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I shouldn't ship. Yeah, don't ship, stop ship. Any teachers do.
- 21:35Speaker 2: A good teacher. You can't beat a good teacher. No.
- 21:37Speaker 1: We used to play this game called multiplication basketball, where
- 21:40Speaker 1: he would like take a soccer ball, you know, and
- 21:42Speaker 1: it has the white squares and the black squares on
- 21:44Speaker 1: it and he would chuck it at you and your
- 21:46Speaker 1: thumbs landed on there was numbers on all the white squares,
- 21:50Speaker 1: and when he threw the ball, you would put your
- 21:52Speaker 1: thumbs on the numbers and you had to do like
- 21:54Speaker 1: that multiplication, gotcha question before you could throw the basketball? Multiplication?
- 21:59Speaker 2: Basketball? Shit? This so fun? Did you know nine times six?
- 22:03Speaker 6: Like?
- 22:03Speaker 2: Would you have known that? And here's the thing. If
- 22:05Speaker 2: somebody want to ask me what's nine times six?
- 22:07Speaker 1: I'd be able to figure it out, probably, but I'd
- 22:09Speaker 1: sit here in silence for two minutes before I would
- 22:12Speaker 1: say anything.
- 22:12Speaker 2: Not like you. You're right two hundred and five.
- 22:15Speaker 5: Wait, let's just circle back to the two answers that
- 22:18Speaker 5: you gave. First, okay, nine times six? Your first one
- 22:21Speaker 5: was twenty seven. I don't want to circle back.
- 22:23Speaker 3: And then the second one was greater than it possibly
- 22:26Speaker 3: could have been.
- 22:29Speaker 2: Seventy two. Yeah it was, he said, seventy two?
- 22:33Speaker 3: Could I be seventy two when seven wasn't even I know?
- 22:37Speaker 2: I'd tried.
- 22:39Speaker 6: Trivia. Man, It's like the universe asking us questions, you know, Yeah,
- 22:48Speaker 6: the Blazing Confused podcast.
- 22:50Speaker 2: It's your turn, question number one here that's for you,
- 22:57Speaker 2: And so is this question?
- 22:58Speaker 3: In twenty twenty four, door h reported a total gross
- 23:01Speaker 3: order value of eighty point one billion dollars. What was
- 23:04Speaker 3: the average annual spending per user on the platform? So
- 23:07Speaker 3: people like you average annual per year?
- 23:10Speaker 2: There are twelve months in a year.
- 23:13Speaker 5: Yeah, okay, yeah, I thought maybe your math was still
- 23:16Speaker 5: really we're.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Going back to that. Yeah, so is it a one thousand?
- 23:21Speaker 3: So how much does average user use per year on
- 23:24Speaker 3: door dash one thousand, fifteen hundred, two thousand, or twenty
- 23:28Speaker 3: five hundred bucks.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Uh, give me the choices one more time.
- 23:32Speaker 3: One thousand, fifteen hundred, two thousand, or twenty five hundred.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I would say two thousand. No, it's wrong, fifteen hundred dollars.
- 23:41Speaker 1: I haven't doordashed in a very long time, all right.
- 23:43Speaker 1: I used to have a door dash problem. I used
- 23:46Speaker 1: to do it.
- 23:47Speaker 3: If you do it, the worst part is is that
- 23:49Speaker 3: these places you orders from, like down the road.
- 23:51Speaker 5: Now I get it, because you have to do the
- 23:53Speaker 5: whole thing. You got to get your to do the
- 23:55Speaker 5: whole there's a whole thing. You walk four flights of
- 23:57Speaker 5: stairs down. That's probably the biggest, the big thing, the
- 24:00Speaker 5: biggest hurdle, the steps.
- 24:02Speaker 2: I have a dog, I'm taking that thing.
- 24:04Speaker 3: They don't bring it to his door though, he has
- 24:05Speaker 3: to go downstairs and pick it up. Y, right.
- 24:06Speaker 2: So I have to go downstairs and pick it up.
- 24:08Speaker 3: It's like, while you're down there, you might as well
- 24:09Speaker 3: get in your car and go up the road.
- 24:11Speaker 2: Yeah. Anything else? You really showing your age here today? Huh? Wow?
- 24:15Speaker 2: Back at my day?
- 24:16Speaker 1: Yeah, back in my day, we took the horse and
- 24:19Speaker 1: bugget to McDonald's.
- 24:20Speaker 2: I get it all.
- 24:22Speaker 1: Right, Next question yeah, yeah, wow, look at once to
- 24:24Speaker 1: change the subject.
- 24:26Speaker 6: Question two?
- 24:28Speaker 2: Oh? Wait, is this question two or three? No? Did
- 24:31Speaker 2: you actually? Two?
- 24:33Speaker 3: Guys? Jesus, guys, what are we doing here? In twenty fifteen,
- 24:40Speaker 3: a popular men's magazine made headlines by removing a key
- 24:44Speaker 3: element that contributed to its success. Oh, it was the
- 24:47Speaker 3: name of the magazine. And what specific thing did it remove?
- 24:50Speaker 1: Sports Illustrated And it's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Wrong?
- 24:54Speaker 5: Wrong, I thought they got rid of this. They took
- 24:58Speaker 5: something out of the title.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Is that we're saying.
- 25:00Speaker 3: No, he's on the right track, and it was Playboy.
- 25:02Speaker 3: They got rid of the nudity, they did. They made
- 25:05Speaker 3: it into an actual, just regular magazine for real. Yeah,
- 25:07Speaker 3: but it only lasted about.
- 25:09Speaker 5: Till two thousand and seven because you had to describe
- 25:11Speaker 5: what the naked woman looked like through words.
- 25:13Speaker 2: Yeah, less erotic.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Basically the problem was is that internet porn was like king,
- 25:19Speaker 1: you know, and yeah, they tried that but it didn't
- 25:21Speaker 1: really work out.
- 25:22Speaker 2: So he was buying a Playboy anymore.
- 25:23Speaker 3: I know, do you remember those from childhood? Yeah, he's well, no,
- 25:27Speaker 3: I know, I was looking directly at him. I didn't
- 25:30Speaker 3: have to ask. Yeah, but no, you were born in
- 25:33Speaker 3: what nineteen ninety nine, ninety eight, ninety eight.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Ninety eight.
- 25:36Speaker 1: My recollection of Playboy back in the day is that
- 25:38Speaker 1: growing up, the barber that my dad used to take
- 25:41Speaker 1: me to had a fucking stack of Playboys in his
- 25:44Speaker 1: waiting room, and me, as like a five six year
- 25:47Speaker 1: old kid, would go and like flip through these magazines.
- 25:50Speaker 2: It'd be like whoa, I thought, wowow.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Man put like a highlights magazine around it so I
- 25:55Speaker 3: could like look at it the other side and.
- 25:56Speaker 2: Getting bricked up.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Before I go.
- 26:01Speaker 2: On that note, should we go to.
- 26:02Speaker 3: Question I think question three.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Bricked out the man before I get a haircut. Look
- 26:10Speaker 2: at really really funny to be bricked.
- 26:16Speaker 3: Use it a sentence please.
- 26:19Speaker 2: All right?
- 26:21Speaker 3: Next question, what rock musician brought bought the letter oh
- 26:26Speaker 3: and the Hollywood sign during a nineteen seventy eight restoration campaign.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Oh, I just heard about it in nineteen seventy eight.
- 26:34Speaker 3: What rock musician bought the letter oh in the Hollywood
- 26:38Speaker 3: sign during a nineteen seventy eight restoration campaign? Would you
- 26:43Speaker 3: like some options because I can give you a multiple choice,
- 26:46Speaker 3: or do you want to try to fish this one out? Clues?
- 26:48Speaker 2: Do you have any clues? How much was it sold for?
- 26:51Speaker 3: Twenty seven thousand dollars?
- 26:53Speaker 2: That's not a lot and too in nineteen seventy eight.
- 26:56Speaker 1: True, So the Hollywood sign used to say Hollywood Land.
- 26:59Speaker 1: I got a TikTok about this, and it was only
- 27:01Speaker 1: it was like a marketing thing and it was only
- 27:02Speaker 1: supposed to be up for like a couple months, and
- 27:04Speaker 1: then they just never took it down. And then I
- 27:06Speaker 1: think in the twenties they got rid of land in Hollywood.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Then I this TikTok went on to say that it
- 27:12Speaker 1: fell apart then and then there was a whole reservation shambles.
- 27:14Speaker 1: There was a restoration process led by.
- 27:17Speaker 3: Like it was literally falling down the hill, Like it
- 27:19Speaker 3: was that bad yeah, who knew. I didn't know that,
- 27:21Speaker 3: and people were like, this is Ollywood, Like, yeah, let's
- 27:24Speaker 3: fix this, you know what I mean. So some some
- 27:26Speaker 3: person kind of spearheaded, give me the choices, all right.
- 27:29Speaker 3: A David Bowie nineteen seventy eight. Keep that in mind, okay,
- 27:32Speaker 3: A David Bowie, b Alice Cooper, CEE, Ozzy Osbourne, Jesus
- 27:37Speaker 3: or d Gene Simmons. Okay, I think it's David Bowie.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Wrong.
- 27:41Speaker 3: I think it would be Ozzy was actually Alice Cooper.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Alice Cooper.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it was the seventy fifth anniversary of Hollywood that year,
- 27:48Speaker 3: and it was very like, you know, sad seeing that
- 27:50Speaker 3: thing up on the hill, just kind of in shambles. So,
- 27:52Speaker 3: like I guess, Alice Cooper was really interested in getting
- 27:54Speaker 3: it going again. And he bought the o in in
- 27:57Speaker 3: honor of his friend Grouchow, you know, Groucho Marx, and
- 27:59Speaker 3: he died like right before then, so he bought that
- 28:02Speaker 3: for his friend. They did that, and then a bunch
- 28:04Speaker 3: of other celebrities, including Hugh Hefner, bought letters to a resort.
- 28:10Speaker 5: That's who I imagine buying your friend twenty seven thousand
- 28:13Speaker 5: dollars letter and only to find out he's already dead.
- 28:20Speaker 2: You're like, he's.
- 28:20Speaker 4: What what am I gonna do with this letter?
- 28:26Speaker 2: Why did anybody tell me? Question? For twenty? What? Okay?
- 28:35Speaker 2: My final question? All right?
- 28:36Speaker 3: Before becoming the mascot of Chuck E Cheese, the character
- 28:39Speaker 3: originally appeared under a different name in the restaurant's first incarnation.
- 28:44Speaker 3: What was Chucky Cheese's original name? Was it a Munchie
- 28:49Speaker 3: the Muncher? Was it b Rick the Rat, ce, Charles
- 28:56Speaker 3: the Chucker or d Jasper t Jowls? Can I how
- 29:03Speaker 3: many of these did you make up? I'm not telling you.
- 29:06Speaker 2: What was the first one?
- 29:07Speaker 3: Munchie the Muncher, Rick the Rat?
- 29:10Speaker 2: I hope it's that, Charles the.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Chucker or Jasper t Jows? What's Chuck E Cheese's original name?
- 29:16Speaker 2: I'm gonna say Jasper Teachers.
- 29:19Speaker 3: It was Rick the Rat, Yes, the one you're hoping for? Hell, Yes,
- 29:24Speaker 3: that was just the first the rat? Yeah, Rick the Rat?
- 29:27Speaker 5: You know what?
- 29:27Speaker 2: Will kids love you?
- 29:28Speaker 3: Kind of glad they changed the.
- 29:31Speaker 6: Welcome to Sparker debate where Becker and Joel turn one topic.
- 29:35Speaker 6: You're doing all out puff puff pass off.
- 29:38Speaker 2: Let's see who burns out first.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Okay, So I found the story of this girl that
- 29:43Speaker 1: goes to Northeastern University and.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Sounds like a very generic college, is it? I don't
- 29:49Speaker 3: know about a certain part of the country. Which one,
- 29:53Speaker 3: sorry college you go to?
- 29:54Speaker 1: I go to the Northeastern one. Northeastern University. No, that's
- 29:57Speaker 1: supposed to be like one of the prestigious schools.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Where's exactly is it? Well? I don't know how else
- 30:04Speaker 3: to describe it. Now, you're southwest right now?
- 30:10Speaker 1: Anyway, So this girl goes to college, right, this is
- 30:12Speaker 1: spark debate over the use of AI in college classes.
- 30:16Speaker 1: She caught her teacher using chat GPT. It doesn't specify
- 30:20Speaker 1: with how this teacher was using chat GPT, but she
- 30:23Speaker 1: demanded that she get her money back for this class,
- 30:26Speaker 1: and the college gave her eight thousand dollars back. Interesting, right, Yeah,
- 30:30Speaker 1: but I want to know how the teacher was using it.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:33Speaker 1: It says he admitted to using tools like chatbt to
- 30:36Speaker 1: create class content. This was in contrast to the course
- 30:39Speaker 1: policy that discouraged students from using AI in their assignments.
- 30:42Speaker 3: How pissed was he, She said that shut the fuck up,
- 30:48Speaker 3: you're being I think that teacher should kind of be
- 30:54Speaker 3: like worried about using it because eventually that's going to
- 30:56Speaker 3: take his job.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Yeah, you think that an artificial intelligence is going to
- 31:00Speaker 1: replace a college profession.
- 31:01Speaker 3: Well, instead of the teacher like looking up his own content,
- 31:03Speaker 3: he's asking a computer for it. About a question you
- 31:06Speaker 3: just asked, If the teacher is using it, why wouldn't.
- 31:08Speaker 2: It what I think happened.
- 31:10Speaker 1: I think that this guy was using chat shoopt to
- 31:12Speaker 1: like rewrite like study guides and shit, you know, lesson
- 31:15Speaker 1: planned stuff like that.
- 31:16Speaker 5: I guess there's a lot of speculation. What class is it?
- 31:18Speaker 5: If it's like math theory, then probably it's not good.
- 31:22Speaker 2: What class is it? I don't know, let me ask chatopt.
- 31:26Speaker 3: My friend's going through a breakup right now and he's
- 31:28Speaker 3: using chat gbt to talk to every night he talks
- 31:31Speaker 3: to chat gbt's like, she said this and this. What
- 31:34Speaker 3: do you think about that?
- 31:35Speaker 5: Chat Gbt's like, you do have to hear people out,
- 31:37Speaker 5: but I think she's in the wrong dude, chat tbt
- 31:41Speaker 5: said this, It's like, all right, man, let's talk to people.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just.
- 31:45Speaker 1: Pretty crazy, but it also sounds like you two are
- 31:48Speaker 1: you know, the classic example of old men that don't
- 31:50Speaker 1: want to embrace new technology.
- 31:52Speaker 5: I love how we're scared of artificial sweetener, but we're
- 31:55Speaker 5: like that dude and tell her that's fine. Let him
- 31:58Speaker 5: hook it up. Everybody knows like the sweet and low, No,
- 32:01Speaker 5: that'll give you cancer. But artificial intelligence, we just like
- 32:04Speaker 5: hook it up. It should be good for us.
- 32:06Speaker 6: All.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Yeah, the professor was teaching a course on organizational behavior.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Well I don't I guess yeah, I like organizing shit.
- 32:15Speaker 3: I also think a lot of college courses probably don't
- 32:18Speaker 3: really mean anything. That organizational theory class like an elective class.
- 32:22Speaker 3: I took bowling as an elective. Is you really yeah?
- 32:26Speaker 3: Is that a joke?
- 32:27Speaker 5: No, that's true, That's that's fact. And look at them now,
- 32:30Speaker 5: look at me now. But what's the consensus? Are we
- 32:34Speaker 5: not happy about this teacher?
- 32:35Speaker 4: Is it?
- 32:35Speaker 2: There wasn't much of a debate.
- 32:37Speaker 1: I do think it's interesting though, that she got eight
- 32:39Speaker 1: thousand dollars back when she demanded that she get money back.
- 32:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I love how.
- 32:43Speaker 2: I think that.
- 32:43Speaker 1: The kicker too, is that the school, Northwestern University, was
- 32:47Speaker 1: very strict on the kids cannot use chat, sepet, their
- 32:50Speaker 1: personal assignments to do anything, you know, right, study guides,
- 32:53Speaker 1: do whatever.
- 32:54Speaker 5: The school was probably like chattebet. How much should we
- 32:56Speaker 5: give her back for knowing we use chatchebet and chatty music?
- 33:01Speaker 5: No more than eight thousand dollars each.
- 33:04Speaker 6: High priority this stuff. Becker and Joel are upsessed point
- 33:09Speaker 6: right now, music, movie shows, snacks, whatever's blowing their little
- 33:13Speaker 6: stoner minds this week.
- 33:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:16Speaker 3: I drove like twenty five minutes to get a certain
- 33:18Speaker 3: snack the other night. I just wanted Welch's sugar free gummies.
- 33:24Speaker 3: I looked on No, They're just like gummy candies. Yeah,
- 33:27Speaker 3: like fruit snacks, yeah, fruit snacks.
- 33:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:29Speaker 3: And like I looked online and I'm like, where can
- 33:30Speaker 3: I get these, like right now? And they were like
- 33:33Speaker 3: Walgreens And then I went to Walgreens and they were out.
- 33:36Speaker 3: But then there was another Walgreens across town. Did you
- 33:39Speaker 3: get a couple of bags?
- 33:40Speaker 1: They only had one left Hot Commodity and they were like,
- 33:43Speaker 1: we don't know when we're gonna get these again.
- 33:44Speaker 2: I'm like, what are you talking about?
- 33:47Speaker 5: You have to do have a special order, do whatever
- 33:50Speaker 5: you need, man, I'll get dick for a fucking sugar
- 33:54Speaker 5: free I swear to.
- 33:57Speaker 3: God, I really wanted it. We know, yeah, dude, you
- 34:01Speaker 3: know I pissed my ass off.
- 34:02Speaker 5: I got cookie dough and it said, uh, chocolate chip
- 34:05Speaker 5: cookie dough, and it said on the package you can
- 34:07Speaker 5: said made with real chocolate. Isn't that How far have
- 34:11Speaker 5: we slid as a society that that is? Like you
- 34:14Speaker 5: have to say that, like what was it before? Like
- 34:18Speaker 5: what percent was it before?
- 34:20Speaker 3: It's like chocolate chip cookies have been not chocolate this
- 34:22Speaker 3: whole time.
- 34:23Speaker 5: Dude, I'm pissed. I'm pissed man. And also sugar free
- 34:28Speaker 5: like gummy bears.
- 34:29Speaker 2: Stop?
- 34:29Speaker 3: What are you doing? Why has it got to be
- 34:31Speaker 3: sugar free? It tastes trying to take it in less sugar.
- 34:34Speaker 3: I know we're going for all terrible for you know,
- 34:36Speaker 3: it's all chemical, no stop.
- 34:37Speaker 2: But if you're going for a snack, just get the
- 34:39Speaker 2: good stuff. Man.
- 34:40Speaker 3: How much sugar you think is in a dumb dumb
- 34:42Speaker 3: Oh dude, I love dumb dumbstum.
- 34:44Speaker 1: This is the only reason why I quit vaping, which,
- 34:46Speaker 1: by the way, I threw out my last vape.
- 34:48Speaker 2: I was hitting it once a day.
- 34:49Speaker 1: It's a process, but I feel like I'm achieving what
- 34:51Speaker 1: I wanted to now, So.
- 34:52Speaker 3: I feel like you're over the first big, big hurdle.
- 34:54Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 34:55Speaker 1: No, So I've been wearing the patch. I'm on my
- 34:57Speaker 1: second dosage of the patch now. It starts with twenty
- 34:59Speaker 1: one milligrams and then it goes down to fourteen, so
- 35:02Speaker 1: I'm on the fourteen one now. And uh my doctor
- 35:05Speaker 1: said that it would naturally make me want to smoke
- 35:07Speaker 1: the vape less. So then I was smoking the vape
- 35:09Speaker 1: like once or twice a day, and every time I did,
- 35:11Speaker 1: I just felt like a pile of fucking garbage. So
- 35:13Speaker 1: it just motivated me to completely stop. You I throw it,
- 35:16Speaker 1: but thanks. Dumb dumb lollipops.
- 35:18Speaker 4: Dumb dumbs are so every time that I felt the urge,
- 35:21Speaker 4: I'd be that's the whole thing.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Candy, the blue one.
- 35:24Speaker 5: Okay, I go miscellaneous dude, Yeah I roll.
- 35:28Speaker 2: But here's the problem with that though.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Then you get stuck with some shitty ones like name one,
- 35:32Speaker 1: Name one bubble gum fucking sucks it.
- 35:34Speaker 2: I want a dumb dumb, now go.
- 35:36Speaker 3: My favorite dumb dumb is the root beer dumb dumb,
- 35:39Speaker 3: the er and the butterscotch, because yeah, it's like a
- 35:43Speaker 3: much older, older older I love you.
- 35:46Speaker 2: This is what we should do. It's a miscellaneous let's
- 35:49Speaker 2: see if it fucking sucks or if it's a good one.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Oh my god, the root beer is so good? Is
- 35:53Speaker 2: it orange? It's piss.
- 35:57Speaker 3: The least favorite. Damn dude, did you guys hear about this?
- 36:01Speaker 3: This kid used his mom's credit card and bought seventy
- 36:05Speaker 3: thousand dumb dumbs and had him shipped to the house.
- 36:07Speaker 1: Wait what seventy thousand? Listen to this, let's learn something.
- 36:11Speaker 2: Dumb.
- 36:12Speaker 1: Dumb lollipops are owned and produced by this Spangler Candy Company,
- 36:17Speaker 1: family owned business based in Brian, Ohio. Founded in nineteen
- 36:20Speaker 1: oh six by Arthur G. Spangler Spangler, the company has
- 36:24Speaker 1: remained under family leadership for four generations.
- 36:27Speaker 2: No shit, no way, Oh he said, look like he's
- 36:29Speaker 2: done already. He's done that. True.
- 36:31Speaker 3: Oh remember that commercial years ago? Like how many licks?
- 36:33Speaker 3: But it's a different lollipop. Coincidentally, did that colocial make
- 36:37Speaker 3: you horny like it did me? How many licks? I'm like,
- 36:39Speaker 3: shut up, shut up, I'm watching TV with my mom
- 36:42Speaker 3: right now. Have you ever bought something like when you
- 36:47Speaker 3: were in a different state, like if you were a
- 36:49Speaker 3: drunker you were stoned, not remember and then it'd like
- 36:52Speaker 3: get a notification the next or something in the mail.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Dude happened to me.
- 36:55Speaker 3: I bought a water cooler, did some investigating the next
- 36:58Speaker 3: day because I didn't remember. It turned out that I
- 37:00Speaker 3: had applied for a Visit Prime credit card. If I
- 37:03Speaker 3: got approved, I would get one hundred and fifty dollars
- 37:06Speaker 3: gift card to use on Amazon. So in my stupor,
- 37:09Speaker 3: I was like, Oh, it pays for the whole freaking
- 37:12Speaker 3: water cooler.
- 37:12Speaker 2: Why wouldn't I just reminded card You're losing money if.
- 37:15Speaker 3: You now, I'm drowning in debt.
- 37:16Speaker 2: So how's the cooler? Those and nice stuff? It's really good.
- 37:20Speaker 3: Yeah, dude, hot water, room temperature, water or cold.
- 37:23Speaker 2: How big is this? How big is it? It's about yay? Hi?
- 37:31Speaker 3: What kind of metric balances can we put in this thing?
- 37:34Speaker 3: You can load five gallons into her? Do you guys
- 37:36Speaker 3: remember the COVID nineteen pandemic.
- 37:38Speaker 2: H yeah, five years ago. Yeah, I almost forgot about it.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Thanks for I did a lot of that, purchased like that,
- 37:44Speaker 3: and during the COVID pandemic.
- 37:46Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I think everybody else did too, because you know,
- 37:48Speaker 1: you couldn't go to the store to get it.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Yeah, people were just doing blackout purchases.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Well, I'd have like fifty oranges at my house, like
- 37:55Speaker 2: what the fuck things that we bought in a stupor.
- 37:58Speaker 1: I uh went to the beach years ago with like
- 38:01Speaker 1: my closest group of friends. One of my friends had
- 38:04Speaker 1: like a condo on wild Wood Crest. We would go
- 38:06Speaker 1: every year, and they had a balcony on this condo
- 38:09Speaker 1: and the birds were really bad. So they had this
- 38:11Speaker 1: like big statue of a owl with like the head
- 38:14Speaker 1: that would move on it with a spring. Yeah, and
- 38:17Speaker 1: that was like supposed to scare the birds off the balcony.
- 38:19Speaker 1: So we got there and I was like, this is
- 38:21Speaker 1: the coolest fucking thing ever. Look at this owl. This
- 38:24Speaker 1: thing's fucking dope, because owls are cool, dude, they think
- 38:28Speaker 1: they are. They're cool animals. So I fucking ordered one
- 38:31Speaker 1: of these. You're chewing the time one is now? Yeah,
- 38:36Speaker 1: So I ordered the owl on Amazon. For the longest time,
- 38:40Speaker 1: I had it in my apartment and I finally threw
- 38:42Speaker 1: it away.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I got rid of it as of recently, like
- 38:45Speaker 2: in the last year.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I'd say I got rid of the owl because I
- 38:47Speaker 1: got tired of people being like, why the fuck you have.
- 38:49Speaker 2: This random out sitting in your apartment.
- 38:51Speaker 5: How about a copy uniform off yournet during COVID drunk?
- 38:54Speaker 5: I just a copy of year from just showed up
- 38:56Speaker 5: a house. I was like, did I sign up for
- 38:58Speaker 5: the force like a Halloween.
- 39:01Speaker 2: No?
- 39:02Speaker 5: It was like an actual, like Hollywood grade, like you
- 39:05Speaker 5: ever wear that?
- 39:05Speaker 2: No?
- 39:06Speaker 3: I sent it back.
- 39:06Speaker 2: I was like, I don't want to say in that.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Oh my god.
- 39:09Speaker 5: I probably had a drunk idea for a sketch that
- 39:12Speaker 5: I was like, I need a cop outfit for and
- 39:14Speaker 5: then I like forgot that.
- 39:15Speaker 3: It showed up and I was like, damn, dude, did
- 39:18Speaker 3: I did I change careers?
- 39:19Speaker 2: But no, I didn't. I couldn't be a cop.
- 39:21Speaker 3: You thank god, because if you did, you wouldn't be here.
- 39:23Speaker 3: I would not what if this was just sting operage.
- 39:26Speaker 3: I just get drunk here for an hour because he's
- 39:29Speaker 3: like demanding alcohol. By the way, guys, I should have
- 39:32Speaker 3: said this earlier.
