The story of Naaman's leprosy cure illustrates three spiritual principles: that God uses the humble (like the servant girl) to point people toward healing, and that pride must be overcome before one can accept God's simple way of grace. Ultimately, obedience to God's seemingly small command (washing in the Jordan) is what brings the great blessing of physical cleansing and serves as an example of yielding to God's plan for salvation.
