Rare 1776 Declaration Found in UK | US News
A 250-year-old Declaration of Independence, one of only 11 surviving copies from a tiny 1776 print run, just surfaced in the British National Archives—hidden since the Revolutionary War. Captured by the Royal Navy on Christmas Eve, 1776, it was found alongside documents signed by John Hancock.
