  So Elon Musk and Twitter have had some drama recently and

  there's been a sort of a Resurgence from Elan about

  buying Twitter right? First Ilan joined the board of
• 0:17
  Twitter then he said he's going to buy the company then he
• 0:21
  backed out then he's getting sued.
• 0:25
  Now he wants back in. He wants to revive the original
• 0:30
  offer to buy Twitter for about Forty four billion dollars, and
• 0:36
  it's not clear what's going to happen about this court case
• 0:41
  over this deal. But it seems that musk will
• 0:44
  eventually take control of the social media platform.
• 0:49
  So what might he do with Twitter?
• 0:51
  That's the question everyone's going to ask and why did he
• 0:55
  change his idea here? Why did he change his opinion on
• 0:58
  this? So it looks like there's a few
• 1:02
  things that we need to follow here.
• 1:04
  And one is that we've seen the judge kind of side with Twitter
• 1:09
  on this case. And it looks like they're
• 1:12
  showing that Elon Musk doesn't really have a way to win this.
• 1:17
  Muskan is lawyers, try to push. Multiple times for the trial to
• 1:21
  be pushed back even further, but now it's happening earlier than
• 1:26
  he expected and he wanted it earlier either next year or
• 1:32
  later this year. The judge kept saying, no, it's
• 1:36
  not possible. It's not a good idea.
• 1:38
  Let's not do this. Let's get this over with.
• 1:41
  So it seems like the timeline fits in well with sort of the
• 1:45
  judge siding with Twitter on this one and One of the things
• 1:49
  that comes out of this trial is a bunch of text messages.
• 1:54
  So Ilan has been communicating with different people within
• 1:57
  Twitter outside of Twitter, Jack, Dorsey, Etc.

  So it looks like Elon has been talking with a bunch of
• 2:04
  different people about a bunch of different things about this
• 2:06
  deal and that's also a reason why he may have backed out of
• 2:12
  this court case and this lawsuit against Twitter.

  And now he's back in, he's just I said, you know, they got me,
• 2:21
  I'm jumping back in. Here's all your money.
• 2:24
  Let's find a way to make this work.

  In the terms of the deal though, early, April Ilan showed up and
• 2:33
  he became the largest shareholder in the company said,
• 2:37
  hey you know what, we're going to give you a board on the seat
• 2:40
  of directors and then he said, yeah, I don't really want that.
• 2:44
  You know what I want? I want to buy the whole thing.
• 2:47
  He had a change of heart. And then he didn't really
• 2:52
  understand how many Bots were on the channel or on the platform.
• 2:55
  That's what he said is like look, there's only five percent
• 3:00
  as according to Twitter that there's five percent Bots that's
• 3:04
  it and Elon think sorta thought at that point that there are a
• 3:09
  lot more than that. So Twitter said you know what,
• 3:13
  let's not deal with this Ilan, backed out of the deal.
• 3:18
  Twitter sued him and said, hey here's all the evidence we have
• 3:22
  so the short version is he said I'm not going to deal with it as
• 3:27
  well. And I'm gonna buy the company
• 3:29
  eventually, so he knew what was kind of happening.
• 3:32
  And he had these texts with Jack Dorsey, they had phone calls,
• 3:36
  and it seemed like Dorsey was leading Elon into fixing the
• 3:41
  company. Not just buying the company and
• 3:45
  keeping it going the way that it is, but pushing it in the
• 3:48
  direction that Jack thought that Elon would be agreeing with.
• 3:54
  And it seemed that the best way to fix the company, would be to
• 3:57
  take it private because then you don't have to deal with outside
• 4:02
  influences, you don't have to buy time with stockholders and
• 4:06
  shareholders. You can just do your own thing,
• 4:09
  make your own decisions and if they fail, they fail.
• 4:11
  And if they don't well, you Really have anybody to answer
• 4:14
  to. So if to keep it company to keep
• 4:17
  the company private key, lime can do whatever he wants with
• 4:20
  it. And what are the things that
• 4:21
  he's been hinting at? And this would be a really big
• 4:26
  change in the future is if he took Twitter private and also
• 4:30
  added more to the platform. So one of the things that he
• 4:35
  suggested is something like we chat and we chant as a platform
• 4:39
  that they use mainly outside of the US, you can get it here.

  Here in the US. But mainly they use it for
• 4:45
  pretty much everything outside of the US.

  The you can do payments on their.
• 4:51
  There's a chat platform, you can send money to people, you can
• 4:56
  buy things, its e-commerce ready.

  It's a pretty powerful platform. And those are the things that
• 5:02
  Elon was hinting at, with his, with his chance with Jack Dorsey
• 5:07
  and other people. During the time that he was
• 5:11
  thinking about acquiring, It Ur. So, moving forward, you know, if
• 5:17
  you love goes through with this deal, if he doesn't back out
• 5:19
  again, people are saying that he's manipulating the stock as
• 5:21
  well. There's a few people that are
• 5:23
  saying. Hey if he does this, he's going
• 5:27
  to manipulate the stock even more.
• 5:30
  And he's going to profit from this.
• 5:33
  So he could say, you know what, I think I'm gonna back out again
• 5:37
  and then he's got to go to court again.
• 5:39
  But in the meantime, the Twitter stock is fluctuated and people
• 5:42
  have, you know, not really trusted Twitter and the
• 5:46
  shareholders just not happy with the overall outcome of it and of
• 5:50
  course, they want to sell it because they want to make their
• 5:52
  money. I mean wouldn't you want to make
• 5:55
  if you invested a bunch of money in something, wouldn't you want
• 5:57
  to make a bunch of money? Money back from it.
• 5:59
  Yeah, of course. That's why you buy the stock.

  And you also buy the stock sometimes, because you believe
• 6:06
  in, what's going to be happening with the company in the future.
• 6:08
  Now, Ilan has said repeated times that he believes in
• 6:14
  absolute Free Speech, which means everybody should be
• 6:18
  talking about anything they want anytime.
• 6:20
  They want wherever they want whenever they want, as long as
• 6:23
  it doesn't harm. Other people, right?
• 6:24
  So, as long as it doesn't, initially harm other people, or
• 6:27
  have the intent of harming other people.

  People who thinks it's a good idea to let them speak.

  Somebody that Elon was talking about was President Donald Trump
• 6:37
  and ex-president Donald Trump was on the platform for a while.

  Grew, huge, huge over the time. And also was kicked off the

  platform. Ilan would like to bring him
• 6:49
  back. He thinks that what Twitter did
• 6:52
  was, you know, outside of the scope of what he believes is,
• 6:56
  what Twitter is all about. And it's a It's a meeting place
• 7:01
  for people to discuss ideas. So, with this new platform that
• 7:05
  he's thinking about building with this, we chat platform,
• 7:09
  it's kind of everything, it's a bank, it's a communication
• 7:13
  platform, it's a forum for the public to voice their opinions.

  It's a, it's a place where you can have your family and
• 7:23
  friends, join you. And if those people that were
• 7:27
  banned before our unbanned and put back on the platform, some
• 7:31
  people said they're going to leave it, you know, of course.
• 7:33
  Course, you know, there's those times when something happens on
• 7:37
  every platform and everybody feels like they have to voice
• 7:40
  their opinion and say, hey, you know what, I'm sick at this and
• 7:43
  I am going to leave this platform.
• 7:46
  Now, the only people that are really important in that point
• 7:49
  are the users that have been there for a really long time.
• 7:52
  The people that believe in the platform and believe that
• 7:55
  something horrible is going to be happening to the platform.
• 7:59
  And the best way to do that is to wait and see, basically
• 8:03
  because you really never know you give it about six months and
• 8:07
  something drastic may have changed, you know, maybe people
• 8:11
  on board, the company, maybe a bunch of Engineers leave because
• 8:14
  they believed in the mission, you know, some people find a
• 8:17
  job, find a career at a company because they believe in the
• 8:21
  mission of the company and not just to get a paycheck, you
• 8:25
  know, there are a lot of people that do it just for the
• 8:27
  paycheck, of course. But the people that are in there
• 8:30
  for the mission, those are the people that may step away on
• 8:33
  there. Some very talented Engineers
• 8:36
  that may walk away from Twitter because of this.
• 8:39
  So you know and other people as well not just Engineers but
• 8:43
  people in general that are working at Twitter they could
• 8:46
  just be like you know we don't believe in elon's Vision we're
• 8:49
  all going to walk out. They could lose thousands of
• 8:52
  people over this who knows? But Elon also said you know what
• 8:56
  I'm not 100% down with the board of directors either.

  I don't believe in everything they stand for and he doesn't
• 9:03
  see eye to eye with a lot of them.

  So the future of Twitter is kind of in his hands, if this deal
• 9:11
  goes through and, you know, the, the court cases still looking
• 9:16
  like they have to go through it just to make sure that
• 9:20
  everything, you know, cross the t's and Dot the I's.

  But it looks like elon's got to be buying Twitter And please let
• 9:26
  me know what you think. Because I think it's a, it's

  kind of a catch-22 at this point.

  Who knows, what's going to be happening with Twitter, whose

  nose is going to be happening with Elon, and who knows what's
• 9:38
  going to be happening with the future of those employees that I

  was talking about a little bit earlier?

  Because those are the people once you leave.

  Once you lose those people, it's going to be harder to bring in
• 9:49
  other people on board people and teach them how the system works.

  Get them up to speed, get it up and running and then build
• 9:56
  something new. I think Ilan.

  This is a long game for ulong. You know, this could be

  something that the business plan isn't just communication because

  saying, before a banking platform, you know, how much

  money do banks make how much money do you.

  No decentralized, cryptocurrencies make

  Downstream. So say if you sell it in ft and

  everybody that buys that nft after the first nft was sold,

  you get a little chunk of that there could be something like

  that involved with Twitter as well.

  There could be some blockchain stuff going on so they could be
• 10:34
  the wild west or it could be a very Very controlled platform in
• 10:40
  the future and it could be maybe the next generation of
• 10:46
  communication on the Internet is far as Twitter goes because
• 10:49
  right now, Twitter is basically for news and ideas and if it
• 10:54
  becomes something else where you share digital currency, where
• 10:57
  you share digital Goods, the future of Twitter is kind of in
• 11:03
  the hands of Elon and his crew that he's going to probably hire
• 11:07
  too. He's going to bring in some very
• 11:10
  powerful and influential engineers and people to run the
• 11:14
  business because he knows what he's doing and he's had so many.

  So many successful companies SpaceX Tesla Etc in the past
• 11:24
  that you never know what he's going to be doing with the

  the moon orbit, some place like Mars Jupiter, if we send people

  further, these are the initial first steps of making people

  multiplanetary. This is what Elon musk's initial

  mission was with SpaceX is to make life multiplanetary, you

  fears that someday something is going to happen.

  Whether it's you know an impact on Earth or who knows what could

  happen like a giant tsunami or nuclear war or something like

  that, we I need to get off this planet just in case something

  like that happens and these are the steps that will get us to

  that place. Now, SpaceX and NASA are working
• 17:30
  together. Right now, as I record this to

  dock the dragon spacecraft to the International, Space Station
• 17:37
  their docking, this autonomously and the space facing Port of the
• 17:40
  station's Harmony module, and that'll happen around 5:00 and
• 17:45
  NASA Television, you could watch it all there on reruns.

  So if you want to watch it which is pretty cool.

  It takes them. A couple hours for them to dock
• 17:52
  with the International Space Station, but it's pretty cool
• 17:54
  because they walk you through the whole process of docking a
• 17:58
  dragon spacecraft. Getting the people from inside
• 18:03
  the dragon spacecraft, into the space station and that's a
• 18:06
  pretty substantial process because they have to dock.
• 18:09
  They have to make sure that the seal is tight and they have to
• 18:11
  make sure that there's a soft seal.
• 18:12
  Then there's a hard seal. So the soft seal is basically
• 18:15
  the initial time that the Dragon capsule docked with the space
• 18:20
  station is like a small soft clamps.
• 18:22
  That make sure that the dragon stays in place, then they do a
• 18:25
  hard clamp and make sure that everything is secure very Cure
• 18:30
  before they open up the airlock and depressurize and get all the
• 18:35
  pressure at the same between the space station and the Dragon
• 18:39
  capsule. So the the mission going
• 18:44
  forward, there's 200 science missions.

  Like I said before. Now this is the six space s
• 18:50
  SpaceX flight with NASA astronauts though that's
• 18:53
  including the demo to Mission, remember that there was in 2022.

  This space station. So it hasn't been that long long

  since demo to, I was there for the demo to launch and it was

  amazing. It was pretty great crowd.

  Great atmosphere. People were pretty excited about

  it and I'm sorry I was there for the crew to Mission.

  So sometimes you get things a little bit wrong, the crew to

  Also a good Mission, but it was pretty spectacular in the crowd,

  was pretty amazing for it. Demo to though, Bob and Doug,

  they are the the Godfathers of This Crew so they were up their

  first demo to was in 2020. That's only a few years ago and

  now we're onto this is the sixth mission to the space station for

  SpaceX crew 59. They're going to spend several
• 19:54
  months aboard. The space station conducting new
• 19:56
  scientific research in areas such as cardiovascular health.

  Renting and fluid behavior in. Microgravity to prepare for
• 20:04
  human exploration, Beyond low earth orbit, and this will also
• 20:09
  benefit life on earth and the International Space Station is
• 20:13
  a. It's a critical critical piece

  of hardware for NASA in the partners to understand and
• 20:20
  maximize the unique attributes of the microgravity environment
• 20:24
  which means that someday we're going to be in microgravity.

  There's going to be a bunch of us out there people Thank you

  to be thousands. Ilan thinks there's going to be

  a million people on Mars at some point now is that during his

  now. There's going to be a million

  people on Mars and that's probably true in 100 years if we

  continue doing what we're doing now.

  And moving people forward. Now also we have some star the

  ship news Starship is continuing on track to be the first orbital

  super heavy. Super duper heavy rocket from

  SpaceX. Now the booster 7 it's in the
• 21:16
  testing phase again heading down to the launch pad again so it
• 21:20
  can continue testing of its Raptor, two engines, it's
• 21:24
  already tested, seven of them now.
• 21:26
  There's 33 Raptor ends that need to be tested when it heads back
• 21:30
  down to the Ed. There's a possibility that they
• 21:32
  do some spin Prime test, which basically think about this, they
• 21:38
  spin them up and Prime up ready to fire them up but they just
• 21:43
  don't fire him up, right? They get them ready to go, they
• 21:46
  just don't fire them up. So that's what a spin Prime test
• 21:49
  is. I believe there's going to be
• 21:50
  some more of those in the near future and then there's going to
• 21:53
  be a static fire. We don't know how many Raptors

  are going to static fire at a time.

  Seven was pretty brutal. Brutal to the area around

  maybe they'll do 16 or 15 or 16 and then maybe they'll double

  that to 30 ish but it seems like they're going to be doing baby

  steps and it's going to take a little while for them to get

  this done. Ilan thinks November.

  It's October right now. They have a whole month of

  testing ahead of them. Now this is the thing that you

  that they're going to be doing this you know, doing the testing

  for a month and then they're going to launch it.

  We have road closures on Friday, which is a weird date of do a

  road closure, October 7th, Ilan, and SpaceX kind of had a A deal

  in place with the local community there with a local
• 23:21
  government and they said yeah we're probably not going to test

  on Fridays most of the time because the beach we want the
• 23:27
  Beach open you know the local community wanted the Beach open
• 23:30
  because summertime for that beach.

  It's you know the locals love it there it's pretty good business
• 23:36
  for the area and the locals are used to having that Beach open
• 23:41
  for them on Friday but 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday.

  Day Monday, there's one from 10 or 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. it's the
• 23:49
  10th of October Tuesday, the 11th.

  Same thing 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on

  Wednesday as well possible closures.

  They were going to do on a Thursday and on Wednesday.

  The closure was canceled, the beach is open on Wednesday and

  Thursday of this week, the fifth and the sixth.
