- 0:00Hello and welcome to another episode of the Christian read
- 0:03podcast. Today's guest is a
- 0:04philanthropist public speaker, and social impact entrepreneur,
- 0:10and an executive coach amount of many.
- 0:12Many, many different talents. His name is Arnold st.
- 0:15Paul, welcome to the show. How you doing?
- 0:17Hi. Thank you so much for having me.
- 0:20It's a pleasure to have you. I prefer instead of executive
- 0:23coach, I prefer conscious guide conscious guide, okay?
- 0:27Like at all, you to coach anyone, but Just to show where
- 0:32they let us head up. Well let's let's delve into.
- 0:34That was a conscious guide. Yeah, it's someone that brings
- 0:40you to you and but two more conscious aspect of you,
- 0:45probably, right? And so it's job is to really
- 0:51unable you to become a better version of yourself in your own
- 0:58way. There is no Sally, there is a
- 1:03process of asleep but there's it's always specific to the
- 1:06person to the individual. So my role is to bring Clarity
- 1:11and then you do the job, right? Which is to two-step the doors
- 1:15and open the doors, step into a them and then go there to the
- 1:20other side. Figure out what it is and so on
- 1:24what do you do? When you met people that I have
- 1:27asked this question to people before, but I'm interested to
- 1:30hear your answer. What do you do when people are
- 1:34quite close minded or not very receptive to your ideas?
- 1:39Or, you know, you're like that people might not know, they
- 1:43might be open to learning something new, but they're not
- 1:46really open to what you have to see something new, you know what
- 1:51I mean? Like, what do you do when their
- 1:52minds are a bit more closed? Like how do you approach that
- 1:56continue loving them for who they are?
- 1:59And having that specific way of seeing the world, and if it
- 2:04happens that I'm not the one to be able to help them because I
- 2:07don't have the words to make that happen, that's okay.
- 2:11It's part of, you know, part of the dance of life.
- 2:14But that, nevertheless, Doesn't change the fact that, you know,
- 2:20they are not amazing and and have they have their own unique
- 2:24way to see life and that's, that's great.
- 2:29I mean, it kind of draws, I mean that there's different ways I
- 2:31can, I can continue but I do want to kind of just talk before
- 2:34we kind of get into your personal story, I just want to
- 2:36talk on some of these terms that you've come up with that are
- 2:39attached to it. What you just said?
- 2:40So on your website and on various other platforms that you
- 2:44have, you talked about things like conscious capitalism and
- 2:48conscious leadership to could you kind of Well, explain what
- 2:53these terms kind of mean and how they help businesses.
- 2:58Okay? So conscious capitalism is a
- 3:03concept which states that capitalism is not any more
- 3:08about. Just a share holder.
- 3:10It's about multiple stakeholders, so, including a
- 3:14shareholder. Yes, but also the clients, the
- 3:16employees, the, so it's about a more conscious use of capital
- 3:22And where many stakeholders need to be taken care of.
- 3:26And not just one so very straightforward.
- 3:29It's a novel concept that emerged probably 15 years ago,
- 3:3520 years ago, maybe and that is taking traction getting Traction
- 3:40in the US and is going. You have other movements like B
- 3:43Corp or any social impact driven company is one way or another
- 3:50connected at least in. In action, right to the
- 3:54conscious capitalism Concepts. So that's conscious capitalism.
- 3:59Does that make sense? Yeah.
- 4:01No it does just have questions of the temple.
- 4:03About won't interrupt, please continue and I'll save never
- 4:06afterwards. So now I'll get to conscious
- 4:08leadership. So conscious leadership applies
- 4:12to two aspects, it could be conscious leadership of your own
- 4:15life or conscious leadership of a company.
- 4:19They both start from the same premise which is that, you know,
- 4:24whether an organization or a person, we all have these
- 4:28independent musicians that are all, you know, playing in their
- 4:33on their own without any coherence.
- 4:36And then at some point you want to bring that coherence about so
- 4:41that people can really be part of a whole, right?
- 4:47And everything. Sounds or in unison.
- 4:52So creating a symphony weather in my own individual right or in
- 4:57a company? Same thing.
- 4:58So conscious leadership is about first for the leader to become
- 5:02aware of himself. Meaning aware of all these
- 5:06musicians are spread out here there there and there, and there
- 5:10are conditioning, not only the experience, but actually the
- 5:13outcome of whatever decision. I as a conscious leader is
- 5:17taking right. Right, and when I become aware,
- 5:21then I have access to techniques to let go of any of these little
- 5:28musicians that are creating a little bit of chaos and
- 5:31cacophony and to bring them about and bringing them in Back
- 5:36to the Symphony of the vision that I hold in my heart.
- 5:41Which is the purpose or the direction where I'm going to go.
- 5:48This is interesting. Oh sorry.
- 5:51Was there more? I mean, I can go on more but
- 5:55he's good. Well, I was going to say is
- 5:58that, I mean, when it comes to specifically that time conscious
- 6:01leadership and the way you kind of explained it that I've
- 6:03certainly heard that different versions of that, same idea,
- 6:07kind of being expressed in, modern leadership in companies.
- 6:11And I suppose it right now we're an interesting point when it
- 6:15comes to day-to-day business because On one hand, you've got
- 6:19all these new fresh ideas, some of which are new, some of which
- 6:22are rehashes of old ideas, you know, basically trying to
- 6:27encourage people as you said to like take charge and you know,
- 6:31like it's this idea that everyone is fully in control of
- 6:35themselves and has the power to change and everything.
- 6:38And I have my skepticisms part of this is because of working in
- 6:44Industry. I'm now a full-time freelancer
- 6:46but I've worked in corporate. Opera and such.
- 6:49And I've seen the good and the bad.
- 6:51And, you know what, good leadership looks like versus
- 6:54what bad leadership looks like. And I agree with the premise, as
- 6:58much as a real leader. Is someone that kind of what
- 7:02leads, as opposed to telling everyone what to do.
- 7:05You know, someone new kind of leads, by example and get stuck
- 7:08in. I think that's always going to
- 7:09be the best type of leadership. So that that concept that you've
- 7:13got right there, I've seen that work and I've seen it in.
- 7:18In action. And I think it's couldn't agree
- 7:20more. But when it comes to your ideas
- 7:22with cap conscious capitalism, when you were talking about it,
- 7:26there to me, it still feels like a bit of a pipe dream in so much
- 7:30as and I'm not saying it's not possible, because I think it
- 7:35does depend on the company, but when you were saying like it, it
- 7:39encompasses all different stakeholders and not just the
- 7:42shareholders. Well, You got shareholders.
- 7:47In the midst. And that's the main stakeholder.
- 7:50That's always going to be the prioritized stakeholder because,
- 7:54you know, shareholder shares equals buying power equals
- 8:00ownership and direction in the company.
- 8:02So, obviously, if I have 20 percent shares, you have 30 40
- 8:07percent shares. You know, we have a say in how
- 8:09things are run and we can influence things.
- 8:12Not everyone, obviously some shareholders are just there for
- 8:14the dividends. Therefore Is repurposes,
- 8:18whatever. But my point with this is that I
- 8:24think. It's Noble to introduce this
- 8:29idea and try to get people to adhere to this idea that you
- 8:33know all stakeholders should be equal and we should all have an
- 8:35equal interest in the success of the company from different.
- 8:39It's another way of stating sorry.
- 8:42Sorry to interrupt you what is stating is that the the
- 8:46conscious capitalist should take into account all stakeholders of
- 8:51the main for stakeholders and when they are taking decisions?
- 8:56Obviously the shoulder keep still keep their, you know,
- 8:59their interest and their capacity to influence these
- 9:02decisions and what now that doesn't change.
- 9:05But the it's it's why I talked about social impact as well
- 9:09where the social impact open, or we'll have to have like, you
- 9:13know, like a public benefit Corporation has to have a
- 9:16purpose for so that everything every decision is aligned with
- 9:20that purpose. So but in any case, all this are
- 9:25beautiful. All ideals towards, we want to
- 9:29tend to write and why not, it's doesn't seem to be a bad idea,
- 9:35and it seems to be conducive to some positive outcomes,
- 9:40including the ones for their environments.
- 9:42So why not? Now I want to come back to the
- 9:45conscious leadership aspect, which I think is more is deeper
- 9:49and more interesting. And, and when you are saying
- 9:52that you are a bit skeptic, It's amazing.
- 9:58I wanted to offer a new premise on which you could base your
- 10:04life and any conscious leader should base their life on.
- 10:08And it's a premise that is based on quantum physics which
- 10:15explains how the world Works which is that a newer musicians
- 10:19are going to understand it right away.
- 10:22Every single thing every single thought Emotions and counter
- 10:27objects. Light Etc, Are vibrations,
- 10:32always. So what is interesting is when
- 10:36you start to assimilate that so even the microphone you're
- 10:40talking into. So you're using vibrations to
- 10:43talk into the microphone. With the microphone itself is a
- 10:45vibration to hmm interesting but the bottom line is If that is
- 10:52the case, then that also means that you and I are vibration and
- 10:58I I am currently resonating with you, right?
- 11:03We have that common goal that dance between a gun.
- 11:06I like some people say it's certain to replace some people
- 11:09say we're on the same. Wavelength obviously, that's
- 11:12what they mean when they say that, don't they?
- 11:13Yeah, exactly. And I therefore, I can feel you.
- 11:18I can connect with you and it's her.
- 11:20I said, no, sir, but the bottom line is As we are resonating 11
- 11:26with another, you start picking me picking things from me and
- 11:31I'm starting picking things from you whether consciously or
- 11:34unconsciously. So let's say that we are in the
- 11:37same company, right? You we I share let's say that I
- 11:43am conscious leader. I share the vision and therefore
- 11:46you start resonating with that vision and because of my
- 11:49presence, you start being in sympathy with it as well.
- 11:53And all of a sudden everybody starts to to play in unison,
- 11:58starts to make sense, right? Because again, we are all
- 12:02instruments. We are all vibrating.
- 12:05All the time. Any situation I may be in any
- 12:11contrast. Meaning any experience you may
- 12:15have had in corporate environment was always the
- 12:19result of your vibration. I disagree.
- 12:23Yes. I say basketball.
- 12:25Save that gone. So that's the thing.
- 12:30If you accept that all is vibration, you cannot not accept
- 12:34what I said. Well, I don't know because what
- 12:38you're saying kind of implies at least somewhat implies that you
- 12:42know, or if you don't have the right vibration with this person
- 12:45then you know you are the source of the problem.
- 12:47Seemed the silly thing to a person specifically I can go
- 12:51deeper in go with me on this journey for a second light
- 12:55should replace the basic premise of what you're saying.
- 12:57And I agree with this as well is that, you know, like at the end
- 13:00of the day if we're going to be and there's lots of different
- 13:03ways that people say this, you know, some people say seeing
- 13:05from the same hymn sheet on the same wavelength.
- 13:07There's so many ways of saying we are essentially on the same
- 13:12understanding of this thing and while we might be different
- 13:14people we might think differently.
- 13:16This one thing we feel and think the same way about this.
- 13:19This thing we vibrate in the same way.
- 13:21Now often you meet people in life that you don't say vibrate
- 13:26with or mix with and maybe that's a clash of ideas.
- 13:30That could be a personal thing person.
- 13:31You know you could just have a personal grievance with someone,
- 13:34whatever the case may be. Sometimes especially in a work
- 13:36context and sometimes, it's ego-driven or sometimes, it's
- 13:40just as a result of other factors that aren't immediately
- 13:44obvious, but the point is try as you might to to get on with
- 13:49someone and to present things in a manner.
- 13:51That's, you know, like, I'll give you an example.
- 13:55What I mean, like, I've worked in places.
- 13:58I always try to be in any team that I work in.
- 14:00I try to be someone who offers ideas and I don't shun other
- 14:07people's ideas. So even if I disagree with
- 14:09something that they're saying, I'll say, but let's say they
- 14:13say, oh let's try this thing. I'll wear my grievances or say
- 14:16well I feel this way about this I'm not sure about this but
- 14:21let's try it. Let's give it a go to see what
- 14:23happens. You know?
- 14:24And and also with regards to how I proposed an idea especially
- 14:29when someone else has proposed an idea, I say okay well that's
- 14:33great but what if we were try this So it's like, you're not
- 14:37kind of destroying their I did, because that's the thing.
- 14:39People would take everything. Personally, you know, like no
- 14:42idea a belief. Of course, a belief is part of
- 14:45you, but especially in a business context, like when you
- 14:49criticize someone's idea or their work, you are essentially
- 14:52criticizing them and people, not everyone takes things that
- 14:56person is some people just realize that, hey, criticism,
- 14:59it's just part of life, especially in business,
- 15:02especially if it's going to make you more money, you know?
- 15:04It's like yeah, we'll do what's going to Make me more money
- 15:06please, you know, but the point is it's getting on that same.
- 15:12Wavelength, sometimes is difficult and I feel like I
- 15:16guess my overall point with all of this is you have to be open
- 15:18to that idea, you know. And there's a lot of people I've
- 15:22met over the years that aren't open and so while your idea in
- 15:27principle is great and it's you know it would it does work.
- 15:31If people are open, if they're closed minded to that it's Take
- 15:36the expression, banging your head against a brick wall.
- 15:38It's, you know, you can and there's some people I've dealt
- 15:42with over the years in business and in, in personal everyday
- 15:46life where you just can't get through to them.
- 15:49So you don't, you know, and and it's not that that person is not
- 15:53reach of course because because sometimes it can be your
- 15:55Technique as well. Sometimes it's, it is as a
- 15:58result of how you approach them, you know?
- 16:01And this is actually a question. I wanted to ask you which I kind
- 16:04of asked before or but let's say you need to look at your working
- 16:11with a business and Let's say, most of the people on that team
- 16:17are receptive to your ideas, but then there's one person who's
- 16:20actively refuting your ideas. You know, obviously I mentioned
- 16:24before that, you might deal with people that are close minded or
- 16:29actively rejecting it, but like how how do you get through to
- 16:34them? They must be a way to kind of
- 16:36disarm them so to speak or to like you - it's not about this
- 16:41song. Maybe it's more about finding
- 16:43the right. Go.
- 16:44As you mentioned, okay? And sometimes they will be
- 16:48triggered by one specific topic or another, right?
- 16:52So they may say no no no to I don't know.
- 16:56Quantum physics 101 but they would be open to their they
- 17:03start asking themselves question when they go through the
- 17:07workshop. About balancing, the masculine,
- 17:08and The Feminine energy. And and then then you take the
- 17:13Cable there, right? And you start pulling it and
- 17:16then then you start opening up the door of self-understanding
- 17:23and unconscious conscious awareness.
- 17:26In this case of the that individual, he may come back
- 17:29later on for to quantum physics 101 to choose to take that, that
- 17:33idea. But so we are always innovating
- 17:38in different ways obviously like any instrument and so it's not
- 17:43Not, it's not a one size, fit all by all means.
- 17:47On the contrary, although we all share the same destination, it's
- 17:52every path. Goes to Rome, as we all know.
- 17:56And and so it is the same for an individual.
- 18:00Thank you. Thank you for that, appreciate
- 18:02that. Yeah.
- 18:04What would you say? Are the qualities of a social
- 18:07impact entrepreneur. Same question, I guess.
- 18:17I would start with. Compassion empathy.
- 18:22Altruism most likely three pillars on which the social
- 18:26impact entrepreneur. Is the three horses on which he
- 18:32is riding, so that you can he do not only has a vision of him,
- 18:40help wanting to help a specific segment of of the social
- 18:46construct that we have around us and And he does it yes, for a
- 18:54benefit obviously, and that's great.
- 18:57But there are also those of empathy and of compassion,
- 19:01because if not, he's not, he's in capitalism only and not in
- 19:06social impact capitalism. I guess we could say that way.
- 19:11Do you not think that? The idea of capitalism in
- 19:15general and what it promotes versus these ideas that you're
- 19:20trying to introduce and into the business, like they kind of
- 19:24almost refute each other. I mean, because capitalism at
- 19:26its heart, kind of encourages competitiveness and, and such
- 19:30and part of that canned. I'm not saying it should be, but
- 19:34it can be, you know, the old cliches of stepping on others in
- 19:37order to get what you want. And being having aggressive
- 19:40sales and marketing tactics Etc, So, how can you?
- 19:46How can you sort of promote these ideas compassion and
- 19:49searching in that kind of environment?
- 19:52That me? The thing is where we call
- 19:54capitalism is a very much Skewed balance towards the masculine
- 20:02energy. So in other words, it's a very
- 20:06masculine driven, set of values and we are as a society, getting
- 20:13into more feminine values where we find a new balance, right?
- 20:17So the right now or capitalism is masculine their feminine
- 20:21here, and we're slowly getting somewhere, meaning getting into
- 20:26more balanced, and we're talking about, you know, the Latex and
- 20:30capitalism. So economy politics, everything
- 20:33is going in the same direction. So our society's evolving and
- 20:37individuals as well. So in other words, you have
- 20:41companies that are too, masculine driven and therefore
- 20:46are running into too many struggles and competition.
- 20:49Etc, etc, which is great, it's a beautiful Journey.
- 20:53However, there is a more efficient way to make things
- 20:56happen if we find a more balanced.
- 20:59Team way, Spirit culture, etc, etc, that not only uses amazing
- 21:08masculine values, but also feminine values and when they
- 21:12are together, then we accelerate the growth of our company, but
- 21:17in a very different way where it's not anymore about struggle.
- 21:21It's more about positioning and, and going into getting into more
- 21:28collaboration, etcetera, etcetera. so, Yeah, we have that
- 21:34opportunity, it's up to each of us as As Leaders to choose if we
- 21:39want to go in that direction are not obviously.
- 21:41And there are people that will continue to hold towards the
- 21:45masking value and that's great. But they where we're going, they
- 21:51will have less and less possibilities to to thrive.
- 21:55Gee, that's kind of where you think we're headed.
- 21:57Then is a more compassionate almost version of business,
- 22:01which I don't know. It always seems impossible to me
- 22:04in a sense because one thing I've noticed is there's this
- 22:07large contradiction between the values that companies report to
- 22:16be following. So, you know, things are value
- 22:19propositions and mission statements and goals, and aims
- 22:22and it's all very and sorry, I know, I sound like It really
- 22:26cynical today. So for any regular listens to
- 22:28show the popular qual, what crawled up his ass.
- 22:32But I don't know, like, I think the only reason that I have this
- 22:35kind of attitude is that, you know, I've seen every company
- 22:37that I've worked with or joined seem with the exception of short
- 22:44startups. They seem to have a refreshingly
- 22:46different take on this, but then they eventually do become
- 22:49businesses. That's the thing that's always
- 22:51the goal with a start-up is to eventually become a company.
- 22:53But now have These value propositions don't have these.
- 22:57These goals, these ways principles if you like and maybe
- 23:01in the beginning they begin to follow them or they or they aim
- 23:04to follow them. But then there's this kind of
- 23:06Disconnect and maybe it's because they're not able to
- 23:11sustain their business and adhere to those principles,
- 23:16maybe it's that maybe it's just, they stop caring, you know, they
- 23:19start making money and then, you know, it's like, well, I care
- 23:22about this. I don't care about this anymore.
- 23:24The way I Today is that I kind of see it as a big old PR thing.
- 23:29I mean, when I was at school in Business, Schools was 15 or 20
- 23:33years ago, maybe we learned a lot about things like Corporate
- 23:36social responsibility. And when I first was introduced
- 23:40to, that idea, it kind of seemed like this idea of like, okay,
- 23:46maybe it's something that in principle is, something we can
- 23:56all aim and strive towards, but maybe not something that Is
- 24:01immediately possible but on the other hand it the longer the
- 24:07business goes on and the more the deeper you get and the
- 24:10higher the business kind of the higher stages that it reaches
- 24:14over time the more it cut you kind of find yourself saying oh
- 24:17okay. Do these pick these businesses
- 24:21turn their back on these value propositions or are they just
- 24:24kind of, I don't know. They want what was the reason
- 24:29behind that, you know, are they actually true for dove?
- 24:32Do they actually believe in these principles or is, is this
- 24:36just like a unfortunate happens happen stance?
- 24:40Hmm. Yeah.
- 24:44I mean, what, what I can wear I can be confident is the fact
- 24:50that, you know, that that that movement has started a few
- 24:55hundred years ago and it's continue moving in the same
- 24:57direction and it's accelerating and not just in the economy, at
- 25:04all levels of society. And therefore, yes, UK, you
- 25:08could consider all these CSR and other X completely cosmetic.
- 25:14Although some of them we mean well, and, you know, it needs
- 25:18time any moment. It's time to take shape, and,
- 25:22and happen, and things for things to happen.
- 25:25So just have to be patient sometimes and, or find the right
- 25:31company. Also, her head that aligns with
- 25:34that. I've just realized I'm pressed
- 25:38for time. So I'm going to have to shorten
- 25:40some of my questions to you. So I'm going to fire up some,
- 25:43some regular questions that I ask every guest.
- 25:46What's the best advice you've ever received?
- 25:55Huh, I don't know, the best advice I have received, I guess
- 26:04I'm going to change a little bit, the question.
- 26:06And what is the best question I have ever found interest an
- 26:11acquaintance. Who am I I like that.
- 26:19I like that. Yeah, that's, that's a good one.
- 26:22Okay. What's the biggest life lesson
- 26:25you've learned so far? That we are so much more than we
- 26:32think we are. Interesting.
- 26:39So that there's more potential and possibilities for us all
- 26:42times night and day. I love that.
- 26:48How did one question I want to ask you because, you know, you
- 26:50balance a lot of different things in your life.
- 26:52Do you have any kind of like time management tips that you
- 26:55can share with people? None whatsoever.
- 26:58Well, I have one. No, I have one probably, yes,
- 27:03Trust. The universe to bring you,
- 27:06whatever you need, whenever you need it.
- 27:09Okay. Therefore you don't need any
- 27:11time management like that. Let's throw it back to your
- 27:18public speaking award. You say are the key elements of
- 27:22a successful speech and also what do you think makes a good
- 27:27public speaker? Let's Deker, that talks from his
- 27:32heart authentically. And who is able to really listen
- 27:41to the audience that is not speaking, right?
- 27:45So that he conveys the right word for that, specific audience
- 27:49at that specific time. Okay, what would you say is the
- 27:57difference between an executive coach and a regular business
- 28:01coach a business, coach will focus more on the techniques on
- 28:08how to, you know, grow your business.
- 28:11So, whether its marketing or sales or Etc, absolutely.
- 28:14Will have an overview of the business and how you can manage
- 28:18it a an executive coach will be more.
- 28:22Helping the, the individual the CEO to find the right answers
- 28:28within him. So it's helping him to manage
- 28:30the company. So, you know, it's a bit broader
- 28:33scope less technical for the executive coach.
- 28:38And while the business coach will have more more
- 28:43technicalities to handle in your own words, you experienced an
- 28:49Awakening at age 13, And I suspect that it's probably
- 28:55influenced a lot of how you have lived your life and you know
- 28:59where you are today. But talk us through that
- 29:01experience and how things changed, and how it shaped your
- 29:05life. I guess it's, you know, in that
- 29:12moment when the any truth that you hold within you start
- 29:18superseding, anything that is being offered to you by the
- 29:22outer World between coats. So so it's the emergence of that
- 29:28inner world that we may choose to have or not, right?
- 29:32And that led me very quickly towards that question.
- 29:37I was mentioning earlier, who am I That became an obsession for
- 29:41me and and led me to study the different religions different
- 29:47books. Philosophies practices that were
- 29:51available that Humanity has gone through and has put together and
- 29:58so that was the Inception. What I can offer today, which
- 30:04has the is that heartful method because I was always, I have
- 30:09always always been on that journey to understand further
- 30:14how we're having this Human Experience and how that whole
- 30:18thing works, right? The the mind, the hard, the, i
- 30:23what does that mean, how, how does that apply to my day-to-day
- 30:29life? Is there a way for me to find a
- 30:34balance that not only Foster's more?
- 30:40Prosperity and thriving and happiness at the same time.
- 30:44And, you know, as that as these questions were emerging, then
- 30:50started to emerge as well, responses in the form of
- 30:53drawings. That would give me a map of how
- 30:58to live life in a better way. And nowadays, I use it to help
- 31:05leaders to rewire themselves and start from scratch.
- 31:10And live a life that is vibrational driven instead of
- 31:18feeling it's, it being tangible and and a living from more
- 31:22feminine values than masculine ones.
- 31:24Also, at the same time, right? That's part of the that Journey.
- 31:28So it's quite a young age to go for a spiritual awakening.
- 31:31I had one a few years ago, maybe three or four years ago, now,
- 31:36when I was living in Europe and the thing that told me was the
- 31:43Well to be honest, the biggest thing it taught me was to stop
- 31:45being afraid and just kind of go for it, but you're very you're
- 31:5113. And at that age when we're
- 31:54teenagers when we were in school, Have you want to look at
- 31:57it school schooling to certain degree?
- 32:01How our parents raised us? It's part of like, a set way of
- 32:06doing things. It's like, there's a certain
- 32:08degree of indoctrination occurs. And yeah, maybe our parents
- 32:12introduced us to freeing ideas. Maybe we even get taught certain
- 32:16free ideas at school. I know that I learned critical
- 32:18thinking as a result of a few different teachers at school but
- 32:21the rest of the teachers were like trying to get me to think
- 32:24in this kind of very boxed way of thinking, which is Really and
- 32:28truthfully is just there to kind of set you up for a life of
- 32:35doing things. We're doing what you're told
- 32:37basically you choose. So you can also because of that
- 32:42super contrast then you can choose to override it but that's
- 32:47that's the thing and that's kind of what I'd want to tap into.
- 32:50Because while we always do have that choice, we don't always
- 32:54necessarily have the strength and the confidence.
- 32:56Has to understand that there is a choice and we don't have the
- 33:00realization necessarily, you know, this is why I wanted to
- 33:03talk to you about this because having such a profound
- 33:06realization at such, a young age is a really powerful thing and,
- 33:11you know, it's difficult to, you know, for like for instance in
- 33:15my own life it was difficult for me to overcome fear and it
- 33:17wasn't a case of people. Not introducing.
- 33:19Those ideas to me, you know, there were people around here
- 33:23and they're maybe not enough people, but there were people
- 33:25here and they're saying what I needed to hear.
- 33:27But I didn't get to that point until I got to that point where
- 33:31I was ready to hear it and suddenly I listened and then
- 33:34change things right? But your age 13 you you have
- 33:39this Awakening moment was it was it introduced to you by a
- 33:43specific person or was it just a series of realizations?
- 33:47I know you've delved a little bit as far as its it was more.
- 33:52You know I was offered, you know, I was in Supposed to go to
- 33:59church and do the things, you know, the things we have to do.
- 34:02When I mean, me coming from a Christian family and say, no
- 34:07this doesn't make sense, what makes sense to me.
- 34:09Is God is everywhere and I'm him, he's me that that was the
- 34:15truth. That could would only explain
- 34:20what I was feeling. And so I was able to say no and
- 34:27And then go from there. Instead of so that was the type
- 34:32of realization. So the people around you like
- 34:36family and friends. With they essentially embraced.
- 34:39The idea is that you that you were now Express and was their
- 34:41support their and or if not like how did you overcome it?
- 34:45I was alone. Oh sorry to hear that.
- 34:50Well, how did you, how did you overcome that?
- 34:52Because I think that's a very powerful position to be in to be
- 34:55able to get to the point where you persist and, you know, push
- 34:59forward with with how. You feel in despite a pushback.
- 35:02So, how did you deal with that Bushman?
- 35:04Yeah. You just can't help it.
- 35:06It's, it's what makes sense to you.
- 35:09And you just do it because you don't have.
- 35:11I mean, you know it's as if you I was asking you what is it too?
- 35:17How is it to be a black person? You don't know, you can't help
- 35:21your white so you're being white and that's it, maybe not the
- 35:24best example, I chose. But anyway, I gotta get I get
- 35:28it. Like it just is.
- 35:30It's a Fact it's a thing. It's and and then that that's
- 35:33it. It's it is yeah, I guess, that's
- 35:36awesome. Okay, well let's let's talk
- 35:40about how like you transition that into business so you had
- 35:43these ideas that became part of you that became who you are.
- 35:46So how did you kind of realize? Okay, this is something I can
- 35:51make money with. I can help people with this,
- 35:53like, where did that transition? Come the good question.
- 35:58So in that, Ending inquiry towards myself, right?
- 36:03Started to acquire tools, whether from these drawings that
- 36:08was mentioned earlier or meeting people and, and meeting, you
- 36:13know, working on myself and therefore working with people
- 36:17and therefore learning what they were doing and how they were
- 36:19doing it since and so on and so forth.
- 36:21And so, when living in Spain, I had a center helping people to
- 36:27heal themselves and be reborn to themselves and And is, once I
- 36:33got these famous drawings, I was telling you about which became
- 36:3612 session program on their own, right?
- 36:41It was not on purpose at the very beginning you just became
- 36:45that had such a collection and they started to make sense and
- 36:48become coherent obviously and and then I started helping one
- 36:53person in another and then another and was working
- 36:55marvelously. And so then it became I think
- 37:03And, and now it's it's one-on-one sessions is also
- 37:08Retreats and there will be online courses as well etcetera,
- 37:13because it ought to help as many people as we can throughout your
- 37:19life and throughout your business career.
- 37:21What have been your biggest challenges and how did you
- 37:24overcome them? I guess the biggest challenges
- 37:36has always been myself. Because always limiting myself
- 37:42in one way or another unconsciously obviously.
- 37:46And and so it's, you know, probably I heard that recently
- 37:51from a lady, I think, you know, entrepreneurs are probably the
- 37:55more conscious people ever because they're their Journey.
- 38:00The Journey of an entrepreneur is to become more and more
- 38:03conscious of himself. If he wants to really be the the
- 38:09He believes to be right. And so, how did I overcome that?
- 38:14Well with patients and with resilience and persistence and
- 38:21applying my tools, the one that I had, you know, discovered
- 38:25throughout the years What would you say?
- 38:28A penny, your biggest success cases so far when it comes to
- 38:32the work that you do. I mean each and every one of
- 38:39them is a success. Absolutely stunning.
- 38:43The I couldn't say one is better than the other because it would
- 38:48detract from the others, which that wouldn't make sense because
- 38:51each is unique. And now, I mean, I've seen CEO's
- 38:55that all of a sudden start sign, Signing nine-figure contracts
- 39:00because we did just, you know, we spent half an hour together
- 39:03and boom and and other CEOs that have been able to all of us and
- 39:09finance, their whole Resort when they were before we started
- 39:15working, they were feeling like a victim and it would never ever
- 39:17happen, right? So, it's not only about Finance
- 39:21obviously though. So many other aspects.
- 39:23But that's the only one we can measure per se and but yeah I
- 39:28think everyone is a success really even that lady that I
- 39:33worked with ten years ago, contacted me, ten years after
- 39:37wanting to do something else and then we do it and then she's
- 39:41happy and Norway and Taking everything into account with
- 39:48regards to all of your work that you've done throughout your
- 39:52life. What would you say are the
- 39:54biggest kind of lessons? You've learned from from that
- 39:57work? Wow, that's a vast question or
- 40:05the keep. Maybe the key things stand out,
- 40:08you know, I mean, we've explored some of those themes throughout
- 40:11this show so far. But maybe I mean and this is a
- 40:16very biased, quick answer, but okay, I think that the best out
- 40:20the best Yeah. The best thing I can come up
- 40:25with as a summary of all the different activities I have had
- 40:30so far is to listen to my heart and and so if we listen deeply
- 40:38enough, he will guide us and that's probably the best
- 40:44description. I can provide to answer your
- 40:46question. It's pretty, I mean, but I try
- 40:49to kind of make these questions always You know, personal to the
- 40:53person as much as I give them, give people like, rooms are kind
- 40:56of like explore, how they feel about things and there are no
- 40:59right or wrong answers. Really, it's just to feel.
- 41:01Alright, what are your takeaways?
- 41:03You know, because it's very easy to talk about successes and
- 41:06failures Etc. But the key things you wanted to
- 41:09sort of touch on are the experiences, the lessons.
- 41:12And I imagine, these are some of the themes that you kind of will
- 41:15explore in the union. You're in the conferences.
- 41:17And the public speaking you do, because it's like those stories,
- 41:20those lessons that One of the things that you can share with
- 41:24others and be like, hey, maybe it's learn from my mistakes or
- 41:27maybe it's learn these lessons that I'm giving to you, that
- 41:30I've learned in my life. You know, it's always about
- 41:33sharing, you know, that's kind of what I'm trying to do with
- 41:35this show as well, is to kind of share the very best to people
- 41:39and say, hey, look at this person, they've got the wealth
- 41:42of knowledge and experience that they have and they're sharing it
- 41:46with you, you know? Mmm, no.
- 41:48And you're doing it very well. I mean we have so much inside
- 41:56ourselves. I mean it's and I see so many
- 42:00people just completely forgetting it and not using it
- 42:05and it's great, you know? But why not why not yeah, why
- 42:09not indeed. As we draw things to a close for
- 42:12today, do you have any upcoming projects or maybe some final
- 42:14thoughts you'd like to share with our listeners upcoming
- 42:18project? I'm working on my third book,
- 42:21which is Going to be the heartful method.
- 42:23The second one was I which is a journey of eye towards itself
- 42:28and projects were organizing a retreating Egypt on the, on the
- 42:33Nile. That's going to be absolutely
- 42:35stunning and to help people experience Harmony and during a
- 42:41seven-day trip. And, you know, using the temples
- 42:45and VIP Retreats, we have VIP visits are the temples.
- 42:48It's really something. And and then, what else?
- 42:53Yeah, there will be coming at some point an online course.
- 42:57But I don't know exactly when yet and yeah, that's about it
- 43:01though. Final thoughts I think you know
- 43:06to summarize. We have so much potential inside
- 43:11ourselves. It's a Pity, not not using it.
- 43:15And so, if you want to know more, let me know.
- 43:17And I can I can share it and and, and it is there in our our
- 43:25disposal and life becomes so much easier and magical when we
- 43:30start applying the. So, let's let's, you know, here
- 43:37and Into our hearts and it will guide you without without a
- 43:43doubt and without a missed step towards.
- 43:49What is our vision? Thank you so much for sharing
- 43:55for being on the show. It's been a real pleasure
- 43:59likewise and to ask this of the Christian re podcast as always
- 44:03be safe. Be well, thanks very much for
- 44:06listening and I'll see you next one.
