- 0:19Speaker 1: com and Culture.
- 0:20Speaker 2: How you doing, fimone, I'm good.
- 0:25Speaker 1: What a week? It's been one horrible thing after another
- 0:30Speaker 1: after another.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I know, I know.
- 0:32Speaker 1: Ever meet Rob Reiner?
- 0:35Speaker 2: Yeah I did. He was very nice to me.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I knew the guy. He was a
- 0:39Speaker 1: very warm, sweet guy. So but when he would tweet
- 0:43Speaker 1: about Trump or whatever politics, it was checkle and hide.
- 0:46Speaker 1: It was so vile. And when he tweeted about Rush,
- 0:49Speaker 1: it was so ugly. What how do you explain that
- 0:52Speaker 1: split personality?
- 0:55Speaker 2: Well, he's a liberal. I mean they would they would
- 0:58Speaker 2: say the same thing I think about some of our tweets,
- 1:04Speaker 2: And certainly they thought the same thing about the things
- 1:07Speaker 2: I don't know Charlie Kirk was tweeting. And as for
- 1:10Speaker 2: the Rush limbot thing, it was after Rush died and
- 1:16Speaker 2: it was you know something about how this is a
- 1:18Speaker 2: bad person who did bad things for the country. I
- 1:21Speaker 2: think it's quite different when someone grows old and dies
- 1:25Speaker 2: of natural causes. Yes, you're not supposed to. As I recall,
- 1:29Speaker 2: Pat Buchanan wrote a sort of magnificent obituary when Justice
- 1:36Speaker 2: William Brennan died. Uh, it's quite different when the person
- 1:41Speaker 2: dies because it's a violent murder, when it's Charlie Kirk
- 1:46Speaker 2: being assassinated. When it's when it's these two, Rob Reiner
- 1:51Speaker 2: and his wife being stabbed death, having their throats slit
- 1:55Speaker 2: to say something untoured after that, I think is very bad.
- 2:01Speaker 1: All right. Um, Now, at Paris, France, every year it's
- 2:07Speaker 1: like bigger than New Year's even times Square. A million
- 2:10Speaker 1: people come to the Chasse. They have an incredible concert show.
- 2:14Speaker 1: They've had to cancel it this year because illegal migrants
- 2:18Speaker 1: have completely destroyed Paris, the violence, the gangs. They said,
- 2:21Speaker 1: it's too dangerous, everybody will have to stay home. Did
- 2:24Speaker 1: you ever think you'd see that happen in Paris?
- 2:28Speaker 2: I'm thinking. I still maintain our country is in a
- 2:34Speaker 2: worse situation other than the fact that no, I don't
- 2:39Speaker 2: like what he said about Rob Reiner, other than the
- 2:42Speaker 2: fact that we have Trump as our president and Stephen
- 2:45Speaker 2: Miller as his chief of staff. I think this country
- 2:48Speaker 2: is in a much, much, much worse position. I mean
- 2:51Speaker 2: with with France and England, they're still about eighty eight
- 2:57Speaker 2: percent British, eight percent French. They've wrecked their country over
- 3:03Speaker 2: the past ten, maybe at most twenty years. All they
- 3:07Speaker 2: have to do is throw those recent migrants out, whereas
- 3:11Speaker 2: we've been doing it since nineteen seventy. It is deep
- 3:16Speaker 2: within our culture, and I mean all they need is
- 3:20Speaker 2: the will to do it. Just throw them out and
- 3:22Speaker 2: restore your culture. We need that will too. I don't
- 3:26Speaker 2: know if you saw the it's all over the internet
- 3:29Speaker 2: this Compass magazine article this week about how journalism industries,
- 3:34Speaker 2: Hollywood and academia have been so aggressively and openly engaging
- 3:38Speaker 2: in racist, anti white discrimination basically since Ferguson. And I'm
- 3:46Speaker 2: thinking of that in relation to well, not only how
- 3:49Speaker 2: much movies and streaming things. Well, it all sucks now
- 3:52Speaker 2: because they got rid of all the smart writers, also
- 3:56Speaker 2: smart showrunners, of not hiring on talent. The colleges are
- 4:02Speaker 2: are obviously a disaster, just churning out social justice warriors
- 4:07Speaker 2: by and large. I don't understand why the good the
- 4:10Speaker 2: Red States. Don't don't swoop up these all these white
- 4:14Speaker 2: men who are extremely talented and being discriminated against. I mean,
- 4:18Speaker 2: that's how capitalism is supposed to work. If you won't
- 4:21Speaker 2: hire someone for illogical reasons, well your competitor will, I think.
- 4:26Speaker 2: I think Governor DeSantis better jump on that. But the
- 4:30Speaker 2: other thing this this Compass magazine art of and I
- 4:32Speaker 2: highly recommend it to everyone. I think I'll sub second today.
- 4:35Speaker 2: It was very good, really really heavy with the numbers
- 4:40Speaker 2: and the facts and the figures. But I mean, look
- 4:44Speaker 2: at look at the brown shooting. Look at Providence, Rhode Island.
- 4:48Speaker 2: You have a school run by a woman Puerto Rican,
- 4:53Speaker 2: the chief of police, uh, the gay, white male mayor. Well, yeah,
- 4:59Speaker 2: this is great. Maybe you need to get some of
- 5:01Speaker 2: those competent white men in.
- 5:03Speaker 1: Yeah. The prob of that security director. His whole resume
- 5:08Speaker 1: is school of security. You know, he was a patrolman
- 5:11Speaker 1: in a university campus. Chief of police and a university campus.
- 5:15Speaker 1: You really should hire a real police guy, guy with
- 5:17Speaker 1: real police experience to come in and show you what
- 5:20Speaker 1: to do. They didn't have suriance, surveillance cameras any I mean,
- 5:23Speaker 1: they didn't have any of the scurity they should have had.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Well, when you're excluding forty percent, minimum forty percent of
- 5:29Speaker 2: the population because they're the wrong race and the wrong gender,
- 5:34Speaker 2: you're not going to be getting the best people. Yeah,
- 5:37Speaker 2: it's just a fact. You don't exclude people when you're
- 5:42Speaker 2: looking for the absolute best. The other thing that struck
- 5:46Speaker 2: me about that Compass article is, you know everyone's weeping
- 5:49Speaker 2: and you know I'm leaping. It's outrageous. It's it's unconstitutional,
- 5:53Speaker 2: and they're being done egregiously against destroying people's lives. And
- 5:59Speaker 2: that's about I think. I think white men are about
- 6:01Speaker 2: thirty forty percent of the country. This is what conservatives
- 6:06Speaker 2: have been going through for far longer than you know
- 6:09Speaker 2: before Ferguson in academia, in journalism, in Hollywood. Oh my gosh,
- 6:16Speaker 2: don't let them know you're a conservative. So okay, fine,
- 6:20Speaker 2: I'll leap for you liberal white men, but you might
- 6:22Speaker 2: want to consider that you've been doing the same thing
- 6:24Speaker 2: to conservatives for a lot longer.
- 6:29Speaker 1: So hey, I won't be here for the next two
- 6:31Speaker 1: weeks taking off the age.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Oh that's right, Merry Christmas.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Christmas break. What are you going to be doing for
- 6:37Speaker 1: the holidays?
- 6:40Speaker 2: That's a good question. I think relaxing from the Christmas party.
- 6:44Speaker 1: Now, these Christmas parties, I've been to six thousand them
- 6:46Speaker 1: in the last week and a half.
- 6:48Speaker 2: They yes, I saw you at once.
- 6:50Speaker 1: Oh that's right, Yeah, on Sunday, the best one. Yeah,
- 6:53Speaker 1: that was a very good one. But but there should
- 6:56Speaker 1: be a rule. You're only allowed like one every two
- 6:58Speaker 1: three days. This two three a day.
- 7:04Speaker 2: I think that's why that's the first thing that comes
- 7:06Speaker 2: to my mind. What are you going to be doing recovering?
- 7:09Speaker 2: You know, the last week was a little rough.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Yeah, and I am the healthiest eater, but forget it.
- 7:15Speaker 1: The last week and a half. I mean, I've been
- 7:16Speaker 1: through ten bottles of toms. I mean it's just hey,
- 7:23Speaker 1: so you mentioned the news media. It's so slanted, so biased,
- 7:27Speaker 1: so corrupt. And I used to think, well, when is
- 7:30Speaker 1: it going to go back to normal? But this is
- 7:32Speaker 1: like nine years of this. It's never going back to normal.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Is it.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Never going to reset?
- 7:41Speaker 2: That's a good question. I remember asking people, I know
- 7:46Speaker 2: what the New York Times who you know, admitted that
- 7:48Speaker 2: they had lost their minds with Trump and I and
- 7:53Speaker 2: I asked you, no, once Trump is gone. This is
- 7:55Speaker 2: this is when he was out of office during Biden
- 7:57Speaker 2: or maybe in anticipation of that, Are you guys going
- 8:01Speaker 2: to go back to normal and just be be normal?
- 8:05Speaker 2: I thought it was abnormal before. But you know, liberals
- 8:09Speaker 2: but not liars, not not this this, These run off
- 8:15Speaker 2: on these crazy conspiracy theories like Russian collusion, and they
- 8:21Speaker 2: seem to think so I don't think we have really
- 8:25Speaker 2: gotten back to that. And of course that's that's also
- 8:27Speaker 2: a function of the de I uh, the Dei stuff,
- 8:32Speaker 2: which wow, the New York Times went into holehog.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Yeah, well we're out of time. But hey, and Culture's
- 8:39Speaker 1: books are big bestsellers. Great books make excellent Christmas presents.
- 8:44Speaker 1: Go to Amazon do your Christmas shopping. A book is
- 8:46Speaker 1: a great present for somebody. And of course you can
