Transcript
- 0:00SPEAKER_01: Well, confession time, guys.
- 0:01SPEAKER_01: So I got a message from someone that said, Hey, you mentioned there was gonna be a part two to the Donald Trump's fake$5,000 bribery check thing.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: And I was like, Did I not did I not release that?
- 0:17SPEAKER_01: And I didn't.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna release it now.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: And then I have another part two to record from the one I recorded yesterday.
- 0:23SPEAKER_01: Y'all, I'm a one-man band and I'm doing the best I can, so be patient with me because these politics, today's America.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: I'm struggling a little bit.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: Okay, so the episode was released on September 17th.
- 0:34SPEAKER_01: Good lord.
- 0:46SPEAKER_01: Alright, so welcome back to part two.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: If you've watched part one, we broke down why Donald Trump's fake$5,000 midterm dividend is nothing more than an unconstitutional$1.2 trillion bribe that isn't ever gonna happen.
- 1:01SPEAKER_01: Now, today we are pulling back the curtain on the policy they are actually trying to push behind closed doors.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: And spoiler alert, it is even wilder than the fake$5,000 check.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: I've got the articles and uh policy memos open right here on all my things, and we're going to discuss.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: So, yes, at times it's going to be me reading.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: But that's kind of the point.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: We're gonna learn together, right?
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: So over the past week or two now, news broke that uh JD Vance and the White House are drafting a brand new federal policy.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: Let's read the headline from September 9th.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: JD Vance has a plan for American stay-at-home moms, a$9,000 check.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: $9,000 a year per child.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: Okay, so I get that on the surface.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: If you just read the headline on social media, you're probably thinking, oh wow, look at JD Vance supporting mothers, right?
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Look at the administration helping families who choose to have a parent stay at home with their kids.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: Sounds great.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: Kind of sounds like a dream until you stop reading the headline and actually read the draft text of the proposal.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: You realize it's, guys, it's a massive scam, and it's designed to leave out the exact people in this country who are struggling the most.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: Okay, so I want to look at the actual print on um who qualifies for this$9,000 cash job.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: So this says, according to the reports from Fox Political News and New York Times, to get this money, your household has to hit very specific rigid criteria.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: Okay, so you must legally be married.
- 2:31SPEAKER_01: Um, this one spouse must work at least 35 hours a week, the other spouse must stay at home and provide full-time child care.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: So do I need to translate that for you all and what that really means in America today?
- 2:46SPEAKER_01: If you're a single mother working two jobs to keep a roof over your kids' heads, zero dollars for you.
- 2:52SPEAKER_01: If you're an unmarried couple living together, um raising a child, co-parenting, zero dollars for you.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: If both parents have to work a full-time low-wage job because one income literally cannot pay rent in 2026, guess what?
- 3:10SPEAKER_01: You get zero dollars.
- 3:12SPEAKER_01: Okay, so it looks like this is explicitly engineered to exclude single parents and low-income working families while giving federal handouts to traditional two-parent, middle to upper class households that can already afford to have one parent sit at home and not go to work if that's what they budget and choose to do.
- 3:31SPEAKER_01: But wait, you're probably asking where's the White House getting the money for the$9,000 payout?
- 3:37SPEAKER_01: Well, remember, JD Vance and the Republicans claim they hate government spending, right?
- 3:42SPEAKER_01: They scream about the deficit every single day.
- 3:46SPEAKER_01: So are they funding billions of dollars for stay-at-home parents?
- 3:50SPEAKER_01: So, okay, so let's check out the report.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: They're not creating new funding.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: They are planning to raid the child care and development fund known as CCDF.
- 4:00SPEAKER_01: The CCDF is a federal program designed specifically to help low-income working parents, mostly single mothers, so as to help them afford daycare so they can go to work.
- 4:10SPEAKER_01: So they want to take billions of dollars out of daycare fund that keeps low-income working moms employed and hand that money to a married traditional household so one parent can stay home.
- 4:22SPEAKER_01: That's fucked.
- 4:24SPEAKER_01: Wow, they're literally robbing struggling mothers to pay for an for an experiment.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: That's all this is.
- 4:31SPEAKER_01: So I will say, I am obviously critical of this administration, but you don't have to take my word for this.
- 4:37SPEAKER_01: All you have to do is listen to how conservatives are actually reacting to Vance's plans.
- 4:41SPEAKER_01: So Mike Pence's policy group just published an official memo completely torching JD Vance.
- 4:48SPEAKER_01: So, quote, Vice President Vance is proposing a poorly designed expansion of the Childcare and Development Fund benefit.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: This proposal would invite government intrusion into the home, punish working families, and undermine true economic freedom.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: Unquote.
- 5:05SPEAKER_01: Wow.
- 5:06SPEAKER_01: Mike Pence's own group is calling out Vance for expanding government bureaucracy to control how people raise their families.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: So the Washington Stand reported that Tony Perkins, the president of Conservative Family Research Council, warned the White House that taking money away from working parents to create a federal stay-at-home subsidy is a disaster that penalizes families who have to work.
- 5:29SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 5:30SPEAKER_01: So when conservative policy groups and family organizations and progressive advocates are all calling this policy a mess, that you know it has to be a nightmare.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: All right, so let's put the entire picture together from the past two episodes.
- 5:45SPEAKER_01: On one hand, Donald Trump stands on stage in Dallas and dangles a fake$5,000 dividend check to buy your vote for the midterms.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: And this check is mathematically impossible and completely unapproved by Congress.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: And on the other hand, JD Vance is working behind the scenes to take real daycare assistance away from working single mothers so he can give$9,000 to traditional married households.
- 6:10SPEAKER_01: Y'all, this isn't about helping families, it's about voting with fake money and controlling how you live your life with real money.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: Don't fall for the headlines.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: Read the receipts.
- 6:20SPEAKER_01: All right, so if you appreciate raw unfiltered breakdowns that these policies actually do to real working people, hit the follow button, share the video with someone who really needs a reality check, and drop your thoughts in these cot in the comments below.
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: I I want to have conversations because I'm learning.
