- 0:00You know, it's fair to say that this
- 0:02little engine that could, the higher side chats,
- 0:04is one of the longest running and most
- 0:06successful ad free podcasts in Internet history.
- 0:09Not really because I'm so great, but because
- 0:11the ad creep is everywhere. It's 2, then
- 0:144, then 6. It's invading paid subscriptions even
- 0:17with a price hike almost every other year.
- 0:20It's why we have to scroll further and
- 0:21further down just to find anything we're actually
- 0:24looking for. But it's kinda nice to know
- 0:26there are at least a few places left
- 0:28that have not surrendered and are holding their
- 0:30ground.
- 0:31Really, thanks to community support in one way
- 0:33or another, which is also related to how
- 0:35much value it provides to the individuals who
- 0:38cross over.
- 0:39And THC plus members have over a decade's
- 0:42worth of uninterrupted and well edited interviews with
- 0:45some of the best guests and researchers in
- 0:47the alternative everything space. 700 and 50 plus
- 0:51episodes with probably something like 550
- 0:53plus unique guests,
- 0:55with some fairly advanced search functions built right
- 0:58into the higher side chats dot com. Even
- 1:01free first hour listeners have plenty to play
- 1:03around with there, including getting the closing songs
- 1:05if you don't hate them, and searching that
- 1:08very big archive for the free shows.
- 1:10But if you like what I do and
- 1:12respect the commitment to sponsor free independence,
- 1:16think about how much more there is in
- 1:18all those extended episodes where the conversation
- 1:21continues to get deeper into a guest's work,
- 1:23or we can get their thoughts on adjacent
- 1:25or more bizarre things,
- 1:27or get into the thornier topics that I've
- 1:29even had guests on occasion say they wouldn't
- 1:32wanna talk about in the free first hour.
- 1:34The whole thing even starts with a 7
- 1:36day free trial, $8 a month after that.
- 1:39When you sign up, you make a username
- 1:41and password like any other website, but you
- 1:43also get a welcome email that contains a
- 1:45custom individualized
- 1:46RSS feed. Just copy and paste that into
- 1:49any podcasting app that accepts RSS feeds,
- 1:52and you have the whole archive in one
- 1:54easy list without the need for those login
- 1:56credentials.
- 1:57But when you want to engage in the
- 1:59comments, suggest a guest on the forums, or
- 2:01contribute to the ratings I regularly mention, do
- 2:04that at thehiresidechats.com.
- 2:06When you log in, all the episode posts
- 2:09magically switch over to the extended plus versions,
- 2:11which I consider a very nice touch too.
- 2:14THC plus is also available on Patreon if
- 2:17you don't mind not having access to the
- 2:19website. The trade off is being able to
- 2:21listen on Spotify and pay with PayPal,
- 2:25systems that don't really wanna play with me
- 2:27directly.
- 2:28If you were a previous member who ever
- 2:30had issues, we've done a lot to continually
- 2:32improve the system, and we have more support
- 2:34in the ticketing system than before for any
- 2:37tech support needs.
- 2:39And again, the 7 day free trial is
- 2:41standard now.
- 2:42But staying independent is a lot more expensive
- 2:45and a lot more in need of ongoing
- 2:47attention than the ad model is, and that's
- 2:49fine.
- 2:50This is how we do it. I think
- 2:52the value is there. The interviews are better
- 2:54for it, and I like being part of
- 2:55a very small elite class of great shows
- 2:58that have been able to just say no.
- 3:01I hope you're able to squeeze me into
- 3:02the budget somewhere. Either way, enjoy the free
- 3:05first hour and maybe tell some friends if
- 3:07you wouldn't mind. We are a little algorithmically
- 3:10challenged, if you know what I mean.
- 3:12Good luck out there and enjoy.
- 3:16The planets
- 3:17puppet masters
- 3:20almost surely
- 3:22have a plan
- 3:25that's clearly
- 3:26maybe
- 3:27something there
- 3:29beyond the realm of man.
- 3:32And until
- 3:33we thoroughly
- 3:35tested
- 3:36every last
- 3:38close chested view,
- 3:41I find the more we think we know,
- 3:44that the less we really
- 3:47do, where
- 3:48would we be
- 3:52without
- 3:54THC?
- 3:56Because we know they're lying to us.
- 4:00Just don't know to what degree.
- 4:04Where would we
- 4:06be
- 4:08without
- 4:10THC?
- 4:12The higher side checks show. Gregg
- 4:15Carlwood
- 4:17and company.
- 4:21Then you can't steal my sunshine from the
- 4:23sunshine state. I'm Gregg Carlwood, and while the
- 4:25modern world is full of individual people with
- 4:28bizarre stories of entity encounters, crop circles, balls
- 4:31of light, and strange journeys to hidden realms,
- 4:34our culture is completely devoid of any acknowledgment,
- 4:37let alone encouragement or understanding of these engagements.
- 4:41But what if long ago civilizations
- 4:43existed where this was not the case and
- 4:45in fact, entire stone megaliths and monuments were
- 4:48built for facilitating this non human entity communication
- 4:51with animalistic spirit beings and conscious plasma?
- 4:54A time where shamanic rituals were popularized and
- 4:57leaned into long before the multitude of distractions
- 5:00and entertainment options of today.
- 5:02A legacy perhaps carried on through secret societies
- 5:06despite every attempt to destroy it by the
- 5:08consolidated power structure of the time.
- 5:11Well, these are just some of the major
- 5:12themes found in the work of today's guest,
- 5:14Andrew Collins, who has been writing about the
- 5:16crossroads of history and science for over 40
- 5:19years with books like From the Ashes of
- 5:22Angels, The Forbidden Legacy of a Fallen Race,
- 5:25Gods of Eden, Egypt's Lost Legacy in the
- 5:27Genesis of Civilization,
- 5:30The Cygnus Mystery, unlocking the ancient secrets of
- 5:33life's origins in the cosmos,
- 5:35LightQuest,
- 5:36your guide to seeing and interacting with UFOs,
- 5:39mystery lights, and plasma intelligences,
- 5:42the Cygnus Key, the Denisovan legacy, Gobekli Tepe
- 5:45and the birth of Egypt, Gobekli Tepe, Genesis
- 5:48of the Gods, the Temple of the Watchers
- 5:50and the Discovery of Eden,
- 5:52and the 2 co authored books with doctor
- 5:54Gregory Little that we've covered previously, Denesovan
- 5:57Origins, Human Hybrids, Gobekli Tepe and the Genesis
- 6:00of Giants in Ancient America,
- 6:02and Origins of the Gods, Kisum Caves, Skinwalkers,
- 6:06and Contact with Transdimensional
- 6:08Intelligences.
- 6:09His latest book, Karahantepae,
- 6:11Civilization of the Anunnaki and the Cosmic Origins
- 6:14of the Serpent of Eden, puts the Karahantephe
- 6:16site in the larger context of shamanic rituals
- 6:19and higher intelligence he's been talking about for
- 6:21years. And let it also be known that
- 6:24among Andrew's greatest achievements in the field of
- 6:26ancient civilizations
- 6:27was the discovery of a huge cave complex
- 6:30beneath the shadow of the Great Pyramid of
- 6:32Egypt, now known as Collins Cave.
- 6:35A true legend, and I'm lucky to have
- 6:37him here, the plasma intelligence hypothesizer
- 6:40ancient civilization sleuth and teacher of the tepes.
- 6:43Andrew Collins, I can hardly believe it. Welcome
- 6:45to THC.
- 6:47Hello, Greg. Thank you for that extraordinary
- 6:49introduction.
- 6:50Hopefully, I'll live up to that in what
- 6:52we talk about today. Oh, I know you
- 6:55will, and I'm just super excited about this.
- 6:57It's only been a year or 2 since
- 6:59I started to understand the plasma context when
- 7:02it comes to communications with some sort of
- 7:05hyperdimensional
- 7:06beings and the things usually called
- 7:09aliens or spirits or even gods. And then
- 7:12I learned that you've been highlighting this since
- 7:14at least your 2012 book, Light Quest, if
- 7:17not before. But to start with the latest
- 7:19book, this does come up in Karahantepay
- 7:22because your assessment of the site is that
- 7:24it was a ritual space designed for communication
- 7:27with just such a being. Right?
- 7:29Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. I mean, what is Karahantepay?
- 7:34It is arguably the most enigmatic
- 7:37of
- 7:37the so called Tajtepeller
- 7:40ritual sites in Southeastern Turkey,
- 7:43but not the most well known. The most
- 7:45well known is, of course, Gobekli Tepe,
- 7:48which we've known about since the beginning of
- 7:51this current century.
- 7:53And I've been on since that time. And
- 7:55the reason why I got on to it
- 7:58was because in the mid 19 nineties, I
- 8:00wrote a book which you've already mentioned called
- 8:02from the ashes of angels,
- 8:04which talked about
- 8:05the myths and legends
- 8:07of the various different mythical beings of the
- 8:10Near East and Middle East that were said
- 8:12to have given humanity
- 8:15the rudiments of civilization.
- 8:17In Hebrew myth, they are known as the
- 8:19Watchers and the Nephilim.
- 8:21In Mesopotamian myth, they're known as the Anunnaki.
- 8:25In Iranian myth, they're known as the Immortals.
- 8:28In Armenian myth, they're known as the Giants.
- 8:31And all of them are said to have
- 8:34looked quite different to the
- 8:37mortal beings that they interact with.
- 8:40But they're very clearly, in my opinion, a
- 8:43memory of
- 8:45flesh and blood human beings that existed on
- 8:48this earth and probably
- 8:50were responsible for kick starting
- 8:53what we know as the Neolithic revolution at
- 8:56the end of the last ice age.
- 8:58And this occurred in what is today southeastern
- 9:02and eastern Turkey.
- 9:04And this created this
- 9:07first post
- 9:08ice age civilization
- 9:10that we know today under the term Trasztepella.
- 9:13And this is a term that people are
- 9:14gonna have to get familiar with because it's
- 9:17what the people
- 9:18in Turkey want us to call it.
- 9:22Tas
- 9:23basically means
- 9:25stone, really, and this refers to the fact
- 9:27that this culture were the first to build
- 9:29in stone.
- 9:30And the tepala relates to the tepes,
- 9:33which are these occupational
- 9:35mounds,
- 9:36these layer cakes of human activity,
- 9:39which all of these structures have been built
- 9:43either within or on top of or whatever.
- 9:46Each different generation building something new, either to
- 9:49the side or on top and gradually creating
- 9:52this huge
- 9:55mound
- 9:56that you often see in the landscape of
- 9:58southeastern Turkey.
- 10:00I mean, not only is places like Gobekli
- 10:03Tepe, obviously, by virtue of its name, one
- 10:05of these occupational mounds, but there are literally
- 10:07hundreds of them.
- 10:09And most of them have actually not
- 10:11been fully investigated.
- 10:13I mean, if you go to that area,
- 10:14you'll you'll see them all over the place.
- 10:16I mean, some of them date back 12000
- 10:18years, but some of them only go back
- 10:20to the iron age, maybe to 3000
- 10:24years. But it's a familiar site. So this
- 10:26is the term that's now used, Tashtepeller.
- 10:30And this
- 10:31revolves around Gobekli Tepe, around Karahantepai.
- 10:34And what you have at these sites are
- 10:36these
- 10:37extraordinary stone enclosures with t shaped pillars.
- 10:41And these t shaped pillars are like spokes
- 10:43of a wheel around
- 10:45what is generally two much larger
- 10:48monolithic
- 10:49t shaped pillars at the center of these
- 10:51enclosures.
- 10:53And the t shaped pillars themselves
- 10:55are covered in beautiful carved imagery,
- 10:58mostly animals,
- 11:00animals presumably of the natural world in which
- 11:02these people lived. But also, there is human
- 11:06representations
- 11:07as well, plus human heads.
- 11:10There are certain animals that crop up again
- 11:12and again, like the boar,
- 11:14the vulture,
- 11:16the leopard or panther,
- 11:19the bull, which very clearly must have had
- 11:22a special place
- 11:24within this community,
- 11:26probably to do with animistic and shamanistic
- 11:29beliefs.
- 11:31And there are also beliefs and practices that
- 11:34can be deduced
- 11:36from a number of the carved
- 11:38pillars, particularly one called pillar 43
- 11:42that we find in Gobekli Tepe, which is
- 11:45essentially
- 11:46an information board, really,
- 11:49telling the shaman how to enter into the
- 11:52sky world and what exactly they'll find when
- 11:55they get there.
- 11:57So this is the background of it, but
- 11:59Karahantepai
- 12:01is somewhere that I've been going to since
- 12:032004,
- 12:04so over 20
- 12:06years now.
- 12:07And when I first got there,
- 12:09all that you could see on the ground
- 12:11was just a few
- 12:13angled
- 12:14pieces of what they call pothole stones, which
- 12:17looked like they might have come out of
- 12:19a medieval building, but they dated back at
- 12:21least 10000 years.
- 12:23There were stone tools all over the place,
- 12:26thousands of them, showing that there was an
- 12:28awful lot of human activity there
- 12:30in the past.
- 12:32But in addition to that, there were the
- 12:34heads of these t shaped pillars just sticking
- 12:37up out of the ground.
- 12:39Most of them quite warm because they've been
- 12:40exposed
- 12:42above the surface
- 12:43of the Earth, you know, for probably
- 12:4510000 years.
- 12:48And it was quite obvious that somewhere here
- 12:51was another Gobekli Tepe.
- 12:53And in 2019,
- 12:55excavations
- 12:56began
- 12:57there under the leadership of doctor Nezhmi Karol
- 13:01of the University of Istanbul.
- 13:03And from that point onwards through to today,
- 13:06they've uncovered
- 13:07what I would describe as virtually a lost
- 13:09city of the Anunnaki.
- 13:11Why the Anunnaki we can come on to?
- 13:13But, I mean, it's just extraordinary,
- 13:15and it's quite clear that what was happening
- 13:17at Karahantepay
- 13:19is far deeper,
- 13:20far rawer,
- 13:22far more shamanic
- 13:23than what was happening at Gobekli Tepe. I
- 13:26mean, to me, Gobekli Tepe is almost like
- 13:28a sort of
- 13:29Catholic cathedral, you know, of lots of different
- 13:32chapels and churches and rooms and whatever.
- 13:35Whereas
- 13:36whatever was going on at Karahanshaepe
- 13:39was much darker,
- 13:40much more gnostic.
- 13:42You know, these people were trying to get
- 13:44to the root of everything, trying to understand
- 13:47quite literally, you know, who we were, where
- 13:49we come from, and what's
- 13:51out there, basically.
- 13:53Mhmm. Well, that is a great summary. And
- 13:57on the subject of how to enter the
- 13:59sky world that you mentioned, I wanted to
- 14:01read this section even though it's long, and
- 14:03I'm gonna butcher the names. But this section
- 14:05is called entering starry portals.
- 14:08In their seminal work on the development of
- 14:10beliefs and practices relating to world ages, cosmic
- 14:13axis, and the concept of processional time titled
- 14:16Hamlet's Mill,
- 14:18Italian American philosopher and historian of science,
- 14:22Giorgio
- 14:23d Santillana,
- 14:24and German anthropologist,
- 14:27Hertha
- 14:28von De Chan, had much to say about
- 14:31such alignments, drawing on star
- 14:33lore and mythological traditions from such diverse places
- 14:36as North and South America, Polynesia,
- 14:39Egypt, and Mesopotamia,
- 14:41they gathered together compelling evidence to suggest that
- 14:44there once existed
- 14:46a collective
- 14:47understanding
- 14:48regarding the soul's journey to the afterlife via
- 14:50the Milky Way.
- 14:52This, they proposed, was accessed via 2 sky
- 14:55gates corresponding
- 14:57to where the elliptic,
- 14:58the sun's annual path through the zodiacal constellations,
- 15:02crossed this starry stream making the outer rim
- 15:04of our own Milky Way galaxy.
- 15:07One of these sky gates was located in
- 15:09the vicinity of the Scorpius, Sagittarius,
- 15:12and Ophiuchus,
- 15:13with the other on the opposite side of
- 15:15the sky close to the constellations of Gemini,
- 15:17Taurus, and Orion,
- 15:19and the cluster of 7 stars known as
- 15:20the Pleiades.
- 15:22Both sky gates became accessible to the land
- 15:25of the living
- 15:26when they lined up with the local horizon
- 15:29at the time of the summer and winter
- 15:31solstice.
- 15:32And then you go on to talk about
- 15:33the alignments of Karahamtepay
- 15:35fitting into this model quite nicely, but it's
- 15:38that last part I hoped you could elaborate
- 15:40on. Both sky gates became accessible to the
- 15:43land of the living when they lined up
- 15:45with the local horizon at the time of
- 15:48the summer and winter solstice.
- 15:50I mean, what does that really mean? Because
- 15:52that is
- 15:53quite bizarre. It seems like a natural cosmic
- 15:56timekeeping system that opens
- 15:59portals to the sky world that is just
- 16:01completely lost today.
- 16:03I mean, when we talk in terms of
- 16:05alignments
- 16:06at ancient sites, you know, we think of
- 16:08places like Stonehenge
- 16:10that's aligned to the the summer solstice sunrise,
- 16:13and at the same time, the winter solstice
- 16:17sunset.
- 16:18We think of Newgrange, the huge passage grave
- 16:21in the Boyne Valley of Ireland, which was
- 16:23built about 3,000 BC, the same time as
- 16:26Stonehenge. That's aligned to the winter solstice sunrise.
- 16:30And if you're inside its chamber,
- 16:33at this time, the sun will come along
- 16:35this long thin corridor
- 16:36and hit
- 16:38these carvings at the back of the chamber.
- 16:40An incredible experience and would have had massive
- 16:43symbolic value for these people.
- 16:46You know, we also think of the moon.
- 16:48There are sites that are aligned to the
- 16:50maximum
- 16:51points in the 18.61
- 16:54year cycle of the moon.
- 16:57And we also think of stars. You know,
- 16:59we know that Orion
- 17:01was
- 17:02used prominently
- 17:04in the orientation
- 17:05of ancient sites worldwide, most obviously at Giza,
- 17:08although I have my own views on that.
- 17:11But
- 17:12the key is that these are not done
- 17:14simply for the sake of it. I mean,
- 17:17firstly,
- 17:18these alignments are done to synchronize,
- 17:21you know, the day to day living
- 17:23or the yearly growth cycle of people on
- 17:25earth
- 17:26to to synchronize
- 17:28their life with the celestial bodies. In other
- 17:30words, that they're a part of the sky
- 17:33themself, a case of as above, so below.
- 17:35You know, that famous old axiom.
- 17:37But it's more than that because
- 17:39these people believed that there were 3 different
- 17:43worlds. When I say these people, I mean,
- 17:44this is a universal belief that's found
- 17:47amongst Native American peoples, amongst
- 17:50Siberian and Mongolian
- 17:52shamans. It's in
- 17:53Eastern Europe,
- 17:55and it would seem to have been at
- 17:57places like Gobekli Tepe and Kara Han Tepe.
- 18:00And this is the concept that there were
- 18:023 different worlds. There is our world, the
- 18:04middle earth.
- 18:06There is a lower world,
- 18:07which we often refer to as the underworld,
- 18:10but there is also the sky world or
- 18:13the upper world.
- 18:14And all of these are linked via
- 18:17some kind of
- 18:19means, whether it be a tree,
- 18:21like in Norse tradition, you have the uttrosil
- 18:24tree, the gray ash tree that links the
- 18:263 worlds.
- 18:27It could be something like a sky pole,
- 18:29you know, a symbolic pole that would be
- 18:31erected
- 18:32that shamans would literally climb
- 18:35to actually reach the top to believe that
- 18:37they were entering into the sky world.
- 18:39And the lower world was accessed via things
- 18:42like pools of water or springs
- 18:44or holes in the ground that would open
- 18:46up when trees were knocked down
- 18:48during thunderstorms
- 18:50and hurricanes and stuff like that. So there
- 18:52were these 3 different worlds, but how did
- 18:55you get to the sky world? And the
- 18:57way that you got to the sky world
- 18:59was via something that we don't even think
- 19:01about very much today, and that's the Milky
- 19:03Way. You know, when we look outside here,
- 19:05I mean, I live in an urban environment.
- 19:08You know, I can see the stars.
- 19:10I can see Orion. I can see Ursa
- 19:12Major.
- 19:13I can see a few other bright stars
- 19:15and obviously the planets
- 19:17at night.
- 19:18But what I cannot see is the Milky
- 19:21Way, and this is the edge of our
- 19:23own Milky Way galaxy.
- 19:26You know, if you can imagine that we
- 19:28live in a galaxy that looks a bit
- 19:29like a dinner plate,
- 19:31and if we're sort of somewhere towards the
- 19:34center of that dinner plate, we're not exactly
- 19:36at the center. We're actually 26 1,000 light
- 19:38years away from the center. But if you
- 19:40can imagine looking out to the edges of
- 19:43that plate,
- 19:44that's what the Milky Way is. It's the
- 19:46thick clusters of stars and galaxies
- 19:49that are on the very edge of that
- 19:51galaxy. And to us, it looks like a
- 19:54band, you know, a ring that encircles the
- 19:57Earth, or certainly that's the way that it
- 19:59looked in the past.
- 20:01And there's no way that the ancients would
- 20:03have ignored this.
- 20:04And
- 20:05the sun crosses it
- 20:08two times of the year,
- 20:09as you mentioned,
- 20:11in
- 20:12the time of Sagittarius
- 20:14and Scorpius on one side of the sky,
- 20:16and then around 6 months later in the
- 20:19area of Taurus, Gemini,
- 20:22which brings in the constellations
- 20:24of Orion, but also the Pleiades star cluster.
- 20:27So they're they're on opposite sides of the
- 20:29sky.
- 20:30And what happened was that
- 20:32when
- 20:33the Milky Way synchronized
- 20:35at this time, when the sun crossed it,
- 20:38obviously, the the sunrises or sunsets of the
- 20:41solstices,
- 20:42that was the time that you could quite
- 20:44literally
- 20:46either walk or make some leap of faith
- 20:49onto the Milky Way that would then allow
- 20:51you passage along the Milky Way towards some
- 20:55central point.
- 20:57And that central point
- 20:59was almost always the same, and it was
- 21:02where the Milky Way actually splits into 2
- 21:05separate streams.
- 21:07And that's in the vicinity of a constellation
- 21:09that we know today as the northern cross
- 21:12or Cygnus.
- 21:14Cygnus,
- 21:15the stars
- 21:16come together to form a celestial bird.
- 21:19It's a bird that's almost always associated with
- 21:232 things.
- 21:24The human soul,
- 21:26it's like the soul as it takes flight
- 21:28as a bird.
- 21:30In the Middle East, it was a vulture.
- 21:32In America, it was the eagle,
- 21:35the turkey vulture in Europe. And in Siberia,
- 21:38it was the swan or the goose.
- 21:40And in other parts of the world,
- 21:42exotic birds like the bird of paradise, for
- 21:44instance, in the Pacific.
- 21:46But they all represented the human soul. But
- 21:49the other aspect to do with Cygnus was
- 21:52that it was a bird of creation.
- 21:54It was seen that creation
- 21:55began in that area of the sky. Why?
- 21:58Well, the answer to that
- 22:00comes from the fact that the stars move
- 22:04against
- 22:04the background of the Earth itself over a
- 22:07cycle,
- 22:08which that book that you mentioned, Hamlet's Mill,
- 22:11makes blatantly clear was something that was important
- 22:14to the ancients,
- 22:15and the a lot of their lore and
- 22:17legends to do with the sky built around
- 22:20the movement
- 22:21of the stars, the starry background
- 22:23against the position of the sun. It's a
- 22:26cycle processional cycle, 26000
- 22:28years it takes.
- 22:30And
- 22:31in the past,
- 22:33the pole star, which is today
- 22:35Polaris in the constellation of Ursa Minor,
- 22:39was in other constellations.
- 22:41It moves around in a circle. And around
- 22:4417000 years ago, it precisely aligned
- 22:47not just with Cygnus,
- 22:49but also
- 22:50with the Milky Way by virtue of that
- 22:53because,
- 22:54obviously, Cygnus is on the Milky Way. So
- 22:56each night, as you'd have gone outside,
- 22:58you would have seen the Milky Way turning
- 23:01like some
- 23:02celestial
- 23:03propeller
- 23:04around
- 23:05the center point of the sky, and this
- 23:07must have been something that was incredible
- 23:09to behold.
- 23:11It doesn't happen today at all. You know?
- 23:13In other words, we can't get any idea
- 23:15of this.
- 23:16So that center point
- 23:18of that cosmic propeller, if you like, the
- 23:21turning point of the heavens was seen
- 23:24as the place of entry into the sky
- 23:27world. But you couldn't just go there, you
- 23:29had to do it via
- 23:30the Milky Way, and there were two places
- 23:33in the sky that you could do that.
- 23:34The area of Sagittarius and Scorpius
- 23:37and the area of Gemini and Taurus on
- 23:39the other side of the sky. These were
- 23:41the leap off points,
- 23:42and different cultures favored 1 or the other.
- 23:45What we have at Gobekli Tepe, for instance,
- 23:49is evidence that they favored
- 23:52the direction of
- 23:54Sagittarius and Scorpius.
- 23:56This is seen in pillar 43 at Gobekli
- 23:59Tepe. You've got this huge scorpion,
- 24:01and you've got this guy
- 24:03sitting on the back of a vulture
- 24:05being led into the sky world where there's
- 24:07another big vulture
- 24:09waiting for him.
- 24:11But
- 24:12Karahantepai,
- 24:13you can see this within alignments.
- 24:16I mean, almost immediately that I saw an
- 24:19aerial view of the excavations at Karahant back
- 24:21at the end of 2021.
- 24:24I noticed that one of the enclosures, the
- 24:263 interconnected enclosures that are all rock cut
- 24:29cut out of the actual
- 24:31bedrock
- 24:32actually aligns
- 24:34towards sunset
- 24:36at the time of the summer solstice.
- 24:38Now that's amazing in itself and possibly would
- 24:41have been arguably one of the oldest alignments
- 24:44towards the sun anywhere in the world.
- 24:46But if you remained in that position,
- 24:49looking in the same direction that the sun
- 24:51has just set,
- 24:532 hours later, when it gets dark, you
- 24:55would have beheld a wonderful sight. And that
- 24:58would have been the Milky Way
- 25:00rising vertically up in the sky
- 25:02with the 2 streams
- 25:05right in front of you, in the middle
- 25:06of which is what's known as the Cygnus
- 25:08or the dark rift.
- 25:09And
- 25:10the stars of Scorpius would have just set.
- 25:13Those of Sagittarius would have been right in
- 25:15view,
- 25:16and you would have been able to make
- 25:18that leap of faith
- 25:19to the Milky Way and climb
- 25:22up the Cygnus rift to the stars of
- 25:25Cygnus and enter into the sky world.
- 25:28So this is obviously planned. This is not
- 25:30something that's coincidence
- 25:32and forms part of what was quite clearly
- 25:35some kind of sky religion
- 25:38that these people adhere to as much as
- 25:4010 to 12000 years ago.
- 25:43So this is something that we eventually will
- 25:46find all over the world with monuments that
- 25:49are built after this time, but you're dealing
- 25:52with a universal
- 25:54idea
- 25:55of entering the sky world that's in every
- 25:58continent, I would say. I mean, clearly, if
- 26:00you go south of the equator, things start
- 26:03changing because everybody's focusing on the southern
- 26:06stars and, obviously, the southern celestial pole. But
- 26:09in the northern hemisphere,
- 26:11this was the basic cosmological
- 26:15principle that all of these ancient cultures would
- 26:17have adhered to.
- 26:19Yeah. Wow. What a summary.
- 26:21It sounds way more powerful than putting the
- 26:24stars up on a digital screen in a
- 26:25planetarium like we do today and get impressed
- 26:28by that. But, man, yes,
- 26:30birds are big symbols as are snakes. And
- 26:34when you talk about the bean
- 26:37that it seems like they might have been
- 26:38in communication with at Karahantepe,
- 26:41you used the term snake genius several times
- 26:45and I love that term.
- 26:47And snakes are also, like, so core to
- 26:51symbolism
- 26:52and
- 26:53shamanic and religious traditions from the Garden of
- 26:55Eden and the Ayahuasca ritual to even things
- 26:57like the Kundalini experience.
- 27:00This is a major theme when we bring
- 27:02in esoteric
- 27:03energies, and
- 27:05you've talked about how Karahenthepe
- 27:07there's images in the book. The whole site,
- 27:10the
- 27:11shrine pillar or the pillar shrine is kind
- 27:14of looks like a snake head when you
- 27:16get that bird's eye view, and then there's
- 27:19a little chasm that looks like a snake
- 27:21body. It's pretty impressive, but there's also a
- 27:25giant stone human head in the pillar shrine.
- 27:28And I just wanted to quote the book
- 27:29here. You write, the giant stone head emerging
- 27:32from the west wall of Karahantepe's
- 27:34pillar shrine
- 27:35is, I suspect, a physical representation of the
- 27:38Milky Way Serpent's active spirit.
- 27:41If this is correct, then the stone head
- 27:43would presumably have been a focal point for
- 27:46anyone wishing to communicate with this perceived intelligence
- 27:50in the form of either a snake genius
- 27:52or of an anthropomorphic
- 27:54being with serpentine qualities.
- 27:56A direct historical
- 27:58comparison
- 27:59with what might have been happening at Karahentepi
- 28:02is, I believe, the
- 28:04oracular communications
- 28:05recorded as having taken place in pre classical
- 28:08and classical times at Delphi in Greece.
- 28:11Very interesting. Obviously, that's an example
- 28:14everyone knows, so there's a good analogy there
- 28:16that there is a strong history of
- 28:19having a ritual space where you commune with
- 28:22an intelligence that's nonhuman
- 28:24reliably,
- 28:26seemingly
- 28:27the same one over and over again.
- 28:29But
- 28:30talk to us about this. I mean, I
- 28:32just laid a lot out there. I summarized
- 28:33a huge chunk of the book, but this
- 28:36snake genius.
- 28:38Well, I suppose
- 28:39you have
- 28:41to look at Karahantapa and say what was
- 28:43going on here,
- 28:449000
- 28:45BC, 11000
- 28:46years ago.
- 28:47And the first clear indication
- 28:50is that there are snakes everywhere.
- 28:53There are carved snakes. There are incised snakes.
- 28:56There's
- 28:57carved
- 28:58rats going into the ground that are serpentine
- 29:00in nature.
- 29:01There is the huge stone head that you've
- 29:03talked about, which is
- 29:05like something out of Beetlejuice, basically, coming out
- 29:08of the wall of the pillar shrine. I
- 29:10mean, you know, like a a snake body
- 29:12with a human head, a giant human head,
- 29:143 times the size of a normal human
- 29:16head.
- 29:18And, yeah, you have to say to yourself,
- 29:20what are these people trying to do here?
- 29:22What are they trying to achieve?
- 29:24Well,
- 29:25if you look at the pillar shrine itself
- 29:27as you pointed out, it's actually the shape
- 29:30of the head
- 29:32of
- 29:32an actual snake.
- 29:34And the only way that you would have
- 29:35been able to get into that pillar shrine
- 29:37in the past, because we think it probably
- 29:39had a roof,
- 29:40is through this tiny little pothole
- 29:43right at the front of the mouth, if
- 29:45you like.
- 29:46So the shaman would have come from the
- 29:48big elliptical enclosure
- 29:50that you find there
- 29:52and literally crawled their way through this little
- 29:55hole going inside the pillar shrine.
- 29:59And there you have these 10
- 30:02standing pillars that have been cut out of
- 30:04the bedrock itself,
- 30:06which is an incredible
- 30:07feat. I mean, to even attempt this,
- 30:11there is an 11th pillar as well that
- 30:13looks like a raised serpent that comes out
- 30:15of the ground that, you know, it looks
- 30:17like the full tongue of the actual snake
- 30:20itself.
- 30:21So you're inside the head of a snake
- 30:23now. You know, why would you do this?
- 30:25Why would you put yourself
- 30:27in the head of a snake? I mean,
- 30:29under any normal circumstances,
- 30:31this is madness and would only lead to
- 30:33bad things.
- 30:34But I think what they were trying to
- 30:36do is
- 30:37exactly this. They were trying to be eaten
- 30:40by this snake on a symbolic level or
- 30:43certainly on a shamanic or astral level.
- 30:47What I mean by this is that
- 30:49if you're being consumed by this snake
- 30:52and quite literally passing
- 30:54into its body, into its DNA, if you
- 30:57like,
- 30:58then that brings you at one with it.
- 31:01So
- 31:02what
- 31:03kind of snake genius are we talking about
- 31:05here? And by the way, the the term
- 31:07snake genius essentially means a spirit in the
- 31:09form of a snake. In other words, a
- 31:11snake that can quite literally talk to you,
- 31:14most obviously with a human head so that
- 31:16it can actually talk in in a sort
- 31:18of a human language. Because I'm sure in
- 31:21the past,
- 31:22people
- 31:23thought that snakes, you know, just hissed. So
- 31:25if they had a human head, then they
- 31:27could talk to us directly.
- 31:28But
- 31:30can we identify this state that they were
- 31:32interested in, this state genius? Well,
- 31:35I thought about this long enough, and I
- 31:36realized that it was connected
- 31:38with this area of the sky
- 31:40around the area of Sagittarius and Scorpius and
- 31:43Ophiuchus.
- 31:44And what was clear
- 31:46is that this area was steeped in
- 31:50Skylar to do with snakes.
- 31:52Ophiuchus, which is often known as the 13th
- 31:54sign of the zodiac,
- 31:56holds a snake known as Sapiens,
- 31:59and this is formed out of stars that
- 32:01run through this particular constellation,
- 32:04Scorpius itself.
- 32:05Although we know as a scorpion, generally,
- 32:09many ancient cultures saw it as a snake,
- 32:13including in Native America, for instance. I mean,
- 32:16the serpent mound in Adams County, Ohio.
- 32:20That's been identified
- 32:21as a form of Scorpio, for instance, because
- 32:25at the time of the summer solstice,
- 32:27when the head of that snake was aligned
- 32:30to the sun as it set,
- 32:32that same night, Scorpio would have been prominent
- 32:35in the sky
- 32:37directly south, and it's been proposed
- 32:40that the earth mound itself, this effigy mound,
- 32:42is a representation
- 32:43of
- 32:44Scorpius in its role as a snake. But
- 32:47in many other countries as well,
- 32:49this area of the sky is associated with
- 32:51the snake, you know, the Scorpius.
- 32:53I realized that, but then I realized something
- 32:55much more obvious,
- 32:57and that is that the Milky Way itself
- 32:59was seen as the snake.
- 33:01And once I started looking that up,
- 33:04cultures from India to Mesopotamia
- 33:06to North America to Mexico
- 33:09to South America,
- 33:11and in other parts of the world, even
- 33:12in Greece.
- 33:14The Milky Way was seen as a huge
- 33:17cosmic
- 33:18serpent.
- 33:19It was known as the world encircling
- 33:23snake or the world encircling. The ouroboros symbol.
- 33:26The ouroboros
- 33:27in Egyptian or Greco Egyptian tradition.
- 33:30And if you look into north mythology,
- 33:33it is what's known as the Midgard Serpent.
- 33:36And this fall part of this whole tradition
- 33:40to do with the 3 worlds, the upper
- 33:41world, the middle world, and the lower world.
- 33:44If you look online and put Yutrisil, you
- 33:46know, the world tree
- 33:48of Norse mythology,
- 33:49you'll see a really great image that comes
- 33:51up that shows the tree. It shows the
- 33:54middle earth. It shows the sky world in
- 33:56the upper branches of the tree. It shows
- 33:58the lower world going down into the roots.
- 34:01And surrounding it all, you have the Midgard
- 34:03Serpent,
- 34:04and you have an ocean beyond that. Now
- 34:07this is not the terrestrial ocean.
- 34:09This is what's known as the cosmic
- 34:11ocean.
- 34:12The cosmic ocean was thought to exist
- 34:16before
- 34:17the physical
- 34:18universe came into being.
- 34:20And in some strange way, this is a
- 34:23intuitive
- 34:25idea
- 34:26of what we would call the big bang,
- 34:28really.
- 34:29Because certain theories
- 34:30within that suggest that prior
- 34:33to the coming into being of our physical
- 34:36universe,
- 34:36there existed
- 34:38this state
- 34:39known as the bulk, which is 11 dimensional
- 34:42in nature.
- 34:43And that manifesting
- 34:45into this 11 dimensional realm
- 34:48was something that in string theory, they referred
- 34:51to as as a brane, you know, b
- 34:53r a n e.
- 34:54And that this
- 34:56inflates like a balloon
- 34:58or a bubble.
- 35:00And into this, our physical universe came into
- 35:03being, and it has its own laws of
- 35:05physics, which are 3 dimensions of space and
- 35:08one of time.
- 35:10But within it, somehow, compactified
- 35:12are all those higher dimensions as well.
- 35:15But the
- 35:16other universes can exist, and this is, in
- 35:19many ways, exactly what
- 35:21many ancient cosmologists
- 35:23talk about. That this cosmic ocean, which was
- 35:25known as the primordial
- 35:27chaos
- 35:28or the primordial
- 35:29void, existed
- 35:30prior to the coming into being of the
- 35:32physical universe.
- 35:34And it's often said that the being
- 35:37responsible for this took the form of a
- 35:41snake or serpent, which became
- 35:43a world encircling
- 35:45serpent. And
- 35:46if you look up the gnostic snake egg,
- 35:49you know, you'll see this beautiful image of
- 35:50an egg with a serpent called around it.
- 35:53That egg is our universe
- 35:55before that
- 35:57egg breaks open
- 35:58and forms the vault of heaven, but also
- 36:01the earth itself and also
- 36:03the lower world.
- 36:04Again, these are ideas which although you might
- 36:07say, well, you know, surely they're 1000 of
- 36:09years after the time of Karahantapai, and they
- 36:12are. Of course, they are. But they're universal,
- 36:15which means that you're looking at something that
- 36:17probably has an origin
- 36:19going
- 36:20back
- 36:21into the last ice site. So in other
- 36:23words,
- 36:24more than 12000 years old, and that would
- 36:26probably have been universal, not only across the
- 36:29Eurasian
- 36:30continent in the past, but also through into
- 36:33the Americas, which remember
- 36:35was linked
- 36:36with
- 36:37the Eurasian continent via the Beringia
- 36:41land bridge.
- 36:42And this was closed up only about 9
- 36:44to 10000 BC. So there would have been
- 36:46a flow of peoples,
- 36:48you know, going probably from Europe all the
- 36:50way across
- 36:51into Russia, Siberia, obviously,
- 36:54across into Alaska, into the Americas.
- 36:57Yeah. This is obviously the standard model
- 36:59of the population of the Americas.
- 37:02But, of course, with this would have come
- 37:04all of these traditions that preexisted.
- 37:07Yeah. You can find so many links, for
- 37:08instance,
- 37:09between the shamanism
- 37:11of Siberia
- 37:12and Mongolia, for instance, and that of North
- 37:15America. I mean, they are almost exactly the
- 37:18same,
- 37:19and this is something that would have been
- 37:21shared
- 37:22at least 12000
- 37:23years ago, maybe even as much as 40000
- 37:26years ago.
- 37:28Man,
- 37:29it does go deep. And, you know, the
- 37:31occultists also have a very similar model for
- 37:34their cosmology
- 37:35with the dot and the circle that consciousness
- 37:38was at one point, and then it pushed
- 37:40itself out in a big bang kind of
- 37:43way, but it's just kinda more of an
- 37:44animist
- 37:45viewpoint of the same sort of model. This
- 37:47expanding from a single point
- 37:50came everything.
- 37:51And I wanted to jump over to the
- 37:53mystery of the alabaster bowl because to make
- 37:54the case that this kind of ritual activity
- 37:57and
- 37:59activity and ritual activity is happening at Karahantep'e
- 38:02is strengthened by just pointing out that it
- 38:05happened
- 38:06all over the place and in many different
- 38:07places.
- 38:09And you write here that there are very
- 38:11few artifacts directly related to the
- 38:14Ophite Gnostics,
- 38:15and we know very little
- 38:17about what these
- 38:18heretic Christians did in their mystical rites and
- 38:21shamanic rituals. But this bowl
- 38:23that is believed to be a relic of
- 38:25their mystery schools might tell us a little
- 38:28bit. It is a round bowl with 16
- 38:31naked people
- 38:32sitting in a circle with their feet towards
- 38:35the center, and in the center, like a
- 38:37bull's eye, is a very strange winged
- 38:40serpent creature. I mean, we talked about birds.
- 38:43We talked about snakes. Sometimes those symbols are
- 38:45combined, and then we have the dragon lore
- 38:47all over the place. But, yes, a winged
- 38:49serpent creature
- 38:50that seems to be in a ball of
- 38:53light with rays coming out and touching each
- 38:56person's feet.
- 38:58If I was trying to illustrate
- 39:00a group
- 39:02communication
- 39:03ritual with a winged serpent being of light,
- 39:05I don't think I could do a better
- 39:07job than what is depicted
- 39:10on this bowl.
- 39:11Talk to us about this relic and what
- 39:13it means to you because it kinda suggests
- 39:15that there's this point where, you know, you're
- 39:17making a big site like Karatepe,
- 39:20people are gonna know about it. And it
- 39:22seems like maybe this kind of ritualization and
- 39:24communication was democratized or more widespread.
- 39:28And then, of course, authorities want to suppress
- 39:30such a thing, it seems, like, at some
- 39:32point, and then it goes into the mystery
- 39:34schools and it's more underground.
- 39:37And this relic seems to be
- 39:39kind of,
- 39:41evidence of this maybe turning point of, at
- 39:44least this next chapter where it is more
- 39:46a suppressed thing, but we have this one
- 39:49mysterious bowl from the gnostics.
- 39:51Yeah.
- 39:52I'm gonna have to go back to Karahan
- 39:55to explain why that this is so important.
- 39:57Because
- 39:58the question is, this Milky Way serpent, did
- 40:02it really exist? Was it an intelligence in
- 40:04its own right? Well,
- 40:06the area of its head
- 40:08corresponded with something that we know as galactic
- 40:11center or the galactic bulge.
- 40:14This is in the area of Scorpius and
- 40:16Sagittarius.
- 40:18And in the past, this would have looked
- 40:21like some kind
- 40:22of celestial light bulb in the sky.
- 40:25And because right through the center of it
- 40:28is the Cygnus rift or the dark rift,
- 40:31It looks like it's an open mouth creature,
- 40:35and very often this creature was associated
- 40:37with the head of a snake
- 40:39or serpent.
- 40:41I mean, it can be identified as other
- 40:43animals as well, but mostly it was as
- 40:46a snake.
- 40:47So the head
- 40:48of the Milky Way Serpent was the galactic
- 40:52bulge. This corresponds with galactic center.
- 40:55What we know about galactic center, the center
- 40:57of our own Milky Way galaxy, is that
- 40:59there is a huge
- 41:01supermassive
- 41:02black hole there
- 41:03known as
- 41:05Sagittarius
- 41:06a star in astronomical
- 41:08circles.
- 41:10And there have been proposals,
- 41:12most notably
- 41:13by the great free thinker of our times,
- 41:16Rupert Sheldrake,
- 41:18that this supermassive black hole
- 41:21could be an intelligent being in its own
- 41:24right, that it has its own consciousness.
- 41:27And this forms into the
- 41:29idea known as panpsychism,
- 41:31and that is the everything has consciousness.
- 41:34You know, every tree, every
- 41:36rock, every place in the landscape, every well,
- 41:40every hill,
- 41:41But as well as the sun, the moon,
- 41:43you know, stars,
- 41:45neutron stars, they've all got consciousness in some
- 41:48way, shape, or another. We just haven't recognized
- 41:51that until now.
- 41:54So it could well be that the center
- 41:56of our galaxy is a intelligence
- 41:59that is almost like a localized form of
- 42:02god, if you like. Okay? I mean,
- 42:04let's call it that.
- 42:06So bearing that in mind, is it possible
- 42:08that the people of Karahantapai
- 42:10were intuitively
- 42:12aware
- 42:13that
- 42:14their own particular higher intelligence
- 42:16was connected with the head of the Milky
- 42:20Way Serpent
- 42:21and, thus, the direction of galactic center? I
- 42:24think the answer is definitely yes.
- 42:27So coming forward in time, what happened to
- 42:30the knowledge of the people of Karahantabay?
- 42:34Well, it seems to have filtered down
- 42:37through certain
- 42:39huge
- 42:40ritual centers in the area of
- 42:43Karahant and Gobekli.
- 42:45One of those is the ancient city of
- 42:48Haran,
- 42:49and this is in the center of this
- 42:51huge
- 42:51plain.
- 42:53And this was the clearing house
- 42:56through until
- 42:57probably
- 42:58the middle ages
- 43:00of incredible
- 43:01knowledge and wisdom
- 43:03that would eventually
- 43:04come to find its way into everything from
- 43:08Hermetica
- 43:09to
- 43:10gnosticism
- 43:11and various mystery schools, including the tarot, interestingly
- 43:15enough.
- 43:17And
- 43:17the knowledge there,
- 43:19I think, goes all the way back to
- 43:21Karahantapai.
- 43:22I mean, to start off with Haran,
- 43:24the oldest occupational mound on the site,
- 43:27goes back to about 8,000 BC.
- 43:30So we know that it was occupied
- 43:32right at the tail end of the occupation
- 43:35of Karahantepay
- 43:36and Gobekli Tepe, which was around that day,
- 43:39around 8,000 BC.
- 43:41And it's my belief that people were carrying
- 43:44forward ideas at Haran and also at the
- 43:47nearby city of Ulfa,
- 43:49which is modern day Schallerfa,
- 43:52which we'll come on to separately. These are
- 43:54known as the cities of the Chaldeans. The
- 43:56Chaldeans
- 43:57were the ancient
- 43:58astronomers, the ancient astrologers,
- 44:01the ancient soothsayers,
- 44:03and wisdom bringers
- 44:05of this region,
- 44:07and they created
- 44:08Gnosticism.
- 44:10Gnosticism
- 44:11focused around the idea
- 44:14that there was a localized form of god
- 44:17that took the shape of a snake, a
- 44:19serpent,
- 44:20which they called the good serpent.
- 44:22But this was only acting on behalf
- 44:25of an invisible
- 44:27god
- 44:28that was beyond it,
- 44:29that was seen almost like a sort of
- 44:31invisible sun
- 44:33that sort of radiated out its beams of
- 44:36influence,
- 44:37but that it was beyond
- 44:39our comprehension,
- 44:41and we needed an interface
- 44:43to connect with god. Now the gnostics,
- 44:46the
- 44:47just simply means serpent.
- 44:49These serpent worshipers
- 44:51believed that the snake
- 44:53was literally the son of God, the role
- 44:55that Jesus would eventually take within, obviously,
- 44:59the more orthodox
- 45:00conventional forms of Christianity.
- 45:03And that that snake
- 45:05could give them knowledge
- 45:07of this supernal
- 45:09son.
- 45:10You know, in other words, of God himself,
- 45:12and this was known as the nowas or
- 45:14the gnosis,
- 45:15the knowledge of God himself. In other words,
- 45:18what was really, really going on out there,
- 45:21and that this is what I think the
- 45:23people of Karahantapai
- 45:25were trying to achieve themself.
- 45:27But not just knowledge and wisdom,
- 45:30which I think that they achieved through shamanic
- 45:32experiences
- 45:33that would have involved almost certainly the use
- 45:36of hallucinogenic
- 45:37drugs, the use of constant repetitive
- 45:40sound,
- 45:41probably sensory deprivation,
- 45:44possibly even the use of ritual poles. We
- 45:47think that some of these
- 45:49enclosures at Karahantapai
- 45:51almost certainly had water in them. And the,
- 45:53you know, the shamans or the initiates would
- 45:55have to go into this water possibly for
- 45:58days on end
- 45:59to quite literally get out of their heads
- 46:01and experience this communication
- 46:03with this higher intelligence in the form of
- 46:05a snake.
- 46:07But these ideas are filtered down into the
- 46:10gnostic
- 46:11beliefs, and the alabaster bowl that we're talking
- 46:14about surfaced
- 46:15in the mid 19th century
- 46:18and was, you know, commented
- 46:20by various scholars at the time,
- 46:23and this continued through
- 46:25into the 20th century.
- 46:27It's originally found in the 19th century and
- 46:29then obviously
- 46:30was written about in detail in 20th.
- 46:33You described it. You know, it's got these
- 46:3616 figures,
- 46:38male and female, naked with their feet
- 46:41touching
- 46:42this you know, I mean, it looks like
- 46:43a flower, but it's probably the sun itself.
- 46:46It has 32
- 46:47rays coming out of it. So one each
- 46:49for all of the feet of the individuals,
- 46:52and sitting right on that is the cosmic
- 46:55serpent itself.
- 46:56You know, these people are clearly bathing themselves
- 47:00in this energy
- 47:01that's coming from the supernal sun. And let's
- 47:04say these are not my mad ideas.
- 47:08The gnostic scholars
- 47:10that have looked at this in great detail
- 47:12have concluded exactly that.
- 47:14And I think that what you are looking
- 47:16at here
- 47:18is a stylized representation
- 47:20of exactly what was going on at Karah
- 47:22and Tepai
- 47:23as much as 11 to 12000 years ago.
- 47:26And I think that's quite extraordinary.
- 47:28And I think that it's all come through.
- 47:31Places like Haran
- 47:33and Ufa, which in the bible was known
- 47:35as the city of Edessa, by the way.
- 47:39And, yeah, these places are incredibly important
- 47:42for having kept alive
- 47:44all of this ancient wisdom
- 47:46and then passing it on to new generations
- 47:49through new cults, new religions,
- 47:51new ideas,
- 47:53which
- 47:54meant that it was available
- 47:56through right the way
- 47:57until
- 47:58late antiquity. In other words, the time of
- 48:01the first Christians, the first gnostics,
- 48:03which
- 48:04meant that these gnostics were connecting
- 48:07with an ancient source
- 48:09and intelligence
- 48:10that
- 48:11was real and was out there somewhere in
- 48:14the center of our own galaxy.
- 48:16Again, they may not have known this, and
- 48:17indeed, the gnostics started
- 48:20to see this good serpent more associated with
- 48:23the northern part of the sky than they
- 48:25did the area of galactic center, where they
- 48:28saw another serpent, which they called the bad
- 48:31serpent. There was the good serpent and the
- 48:32bad serpent. So it's clear that these were
- 48:34old ideas that they wanted to get away
- 48:36from and wanted to reinvent
- 48:39the cosmic snake as as to do with
- 48:41the pole star and the stars of Draco,
- 48:44which were itself a serpent. But
- 48:47if you look deeply into those gnostic beliefs,
- 48:49they too had this idea of this serpent,
- 48:52this snake influence
- 48:54connected with the aeroblastic center.
- 48:58I love it. You definitely
- 48:59know how to talk about this stuff. And
- 49:01I wanna ask you a little more about
- 49:04plasmas themselves because this is just so key
- 49:06because we spend a lot of time talking
- 49:08about paranormal
- 49:10activity and aliens and all sorts of stuff.
- 49:12And plasma might be
- 49:15the
- 49:16central thing, the composition
- 49:18of what these things are made up of.
- 49:21You could look at occult literature and grimoires
- 49:24and people drawing pentagrams on the ground and
- 49:26summoning something,
- 49:28and it's a beam of light, and it's
- 49:30repeatable, and it's probably
- 49:32some form of plasma. And then, you know,
- 49:34even the abduction phenomenon, UFOs,
- 49:37like, it might be everything. It might even
- 49:39be
- 49:40the source of our
- 49:43thoughts about God, which this kind of relates
- 49:45here. So I did read the books you
- 49:48wrote with Greg Little, and in Origins of
- 49:50the Gods, you do write about the Ark
- 49:51of the Covenant and the idea that this
- 49:53whole
- 49:54God thing they called Yahweh
- 49:56might have just been one of these plasmas
- 49:59they had sustained contact with, probably, you know,
- 50:02with the arc's help making it more repeatable.
- 50:05And you use the term end state beings,
- 50:07and there's a lot of science behind what
- 50:09these things could be and their qualities.
- 50:12It's a super provocative
- 50:14set of ideas, but help people understand this
- 50:17a little bit better. I mean, what to
- 50:20say plasmas doesn't really tell us a whole
- 50:23lot. Where do these plasmas come from? How
- 50:25do they emerge? What are their qualities and
- 50:27compositions as far as you're concerned?
- 50:29Plasma
- 50:30is something that probably fills
- 50:3390%
- 50:35of the whole universe. It's not atomic matter.
- 50:39So it's obviously very, very important,
- 50:41but we have to go back to the
- 50:43big bang again.
- 50:44We mentioned it earlier
- 50:47because when our universe came into existence,
- 50:50it
- 50:51created
- 50:53not atomic matter to start with, but for
- 50:56the first
- 50:58380000 years,
- 51:00it created
- 51:01what's known as
- 51:02gluon plasma,
- 51:04and this filled the universe itself. There was
- 51:07nothing else, just plasma.
- 51:10But then very gradually,
- 51:12this plasma started slowing down
- 51:15and transforming
- 51:16into what we know as atomic matter.
- 51:20And that atomic matter is what we call
- 51:22atoms. Everything that we have around us and
- 51:26within us
- 51:27is made of atoms,
- 51:30and this creates physical matter.
- 51:33A physical matter
- 51:35is one of the 3
- 51:37states of matter that we know and love.
- 51:39The other 2, obviously, being liquids,
- 51:42which is more fluent version of matter.
- 51:45And beyond that, of course, is gas,
- 51:47which is, you know, the air around us
- 51:49or any gas that comes out of our
- 51:51gas cookers or whatever.
- 51:53Those are the 3 states of matter, but
- 51:55what's known as the full state of matter
- 51:57is plasma.
- 51:59And plasma,
- 52:00if you wanna put it in simple terms,
- 52:03it's splitting atoms up
- 52:05into 2 parts,
- 52:07into what's known as, positive and negative ions.
- 52:11The positive ions are the nucleus
- 52:14of the atom
- 52:15with some of the electrons still flying around
- 52:18it,
- 52:19and the negative ions are the
- 52:22electrons that have become free and are now
- 52:25flying around in an excited state.
- 52:28And as they do this, they create their
- 52:31own magnetic fields around themselves.
- 52:35And because they are doing it in bulk
- 52:37together,
- 52:38this will create almost like a ball of
- 52:40light, if you like.
- 52:42And
- 52:43the reason why the light is there, by
- 52:45the way, is because this excitation
- 52:48causes the electrons
- 52:50to release
- 52:51tiny
- 52:52photons
- 52:53of light. So that's why you see this.
- 52:56So plasmas can take the form of balls,
- 53:00but
- 53:01most people, when they think of plasma balls,
- 53:02they think of, let's say, you know, thunderstorms,
- 53:05ball lightning.
- 53:06Balls that just come in appearance, shoot about,
- 53:09cause some damage, and disappear.
- 53:12But plasmas or plasmoids, which is the correct
- 53:15term for the ball like versions of it,
- 53:18can linger much longer, not only in the
- 53:20laboratory
- 53:21when they are created,
- 53:23but also
- 53:24outside in the landscape because the landscape
- 53:28creates its own
- 53:30plasmoids,
- 53:31its own plasma constructs,
- 53:33and this it does
- 53:34through geology.
- 53:36Most particular,
- 53:38the presence
- 53:39of certain types of minerals, such as quartz
- 53:42and tourmaline
- 53:43that can be pressurized
- 53:45into releasing
- 53:47their electrons, which are used to create what's
- 53:50known as ionospheric
- 53:51environments.
- 53:52And these are like tinderboxes
- 53:54for the creation
- 53:55of plasma.
- 53:57And the other big factor
- 54:00is fault lines.
- 54:02The stresses and strains that have fractured the
- 54:04earth
- 54:06either because of the movement of tectonic plates
- 54:10or the movement
- 54:11of different rock strata,
- 54:14yeah, often due to things like ice ages
- 54:17and stuff like this. This will fracture
- 54:20the underlying bedrock.
- 54:22And once again, this puts huge strains on
- 54:25the earth, and this creates these
- 54:28ionospheric environments,
- 54:30and
- 54:31they create plasma
- 54:33objects.
- 54:34In other words, you will see them more
- 54:37likely where there is very specific types of
- 54:40geology.
- 54:41Certain minerals,
- 54:43metals, for instance, that can convey those
- 54:46electrons more easily
- 54:47through the ground,
- 54:49and they break the surface,
- 54:51and suddenly they will appear in the air.
- 54:53And there's no question
- 54:55that many
- 54:56UFO or UAP sightings
- 54:59can be explained
- 55:00as plasmas
- 55:01or plasmoids,
- 55:03or plasma orbs is one of the terms
- 55:05that's used today.
- 55:06But they're not just floating balls of light.
- 55:09They can show intelligence.
- 55:11They unquestionably
- 55:12seem to be intelligent in nature.
- 55:15There are a number of papers just come
- 55:17out in the last year that tell us
- 55:19that plasma
- 55:20can be intelligent.
- 55:22And what this means is that the plasma
- 55:25itself isn't intelligent. I mean, plasma is just
- 55:27plasma, but what can happen
- 55:30is that intelligences
- 55:31existing
- 55:32on a deeper level of existence
- 55:35outside of normal space time
- 55:37can occupy the space that's created by plasma.
- 55:41I mean, the way I always describe it
- 55:43is a glove. You know, one of my
- 55:45fingerless gloves here. I mean, this glove is
- 55:47nothing. Is it? It's a piece of cloth.
- 55:49It's dead. It's not alive. Right? But if
- 55:52I put my hand inside it
- 55:54like this,
- 55:56it animates it. The glove's not alive, but
- 55:59my hand is animating it so that the
- 56:02plasma
- 56:03becomes animated.
- 56:06And that
- 56:07you have intelligences
- 56:09occupying
- 56:10these objects.
- 56:11And these objects
- 56:13can become quite solid
- 56:15and even form into structured craft. How can
- 56:18they do that? Because the plasma acts as
- 56:21portals
- 56:23into higher dimensional
- 56:24environments,
- 56:26and
- 56:27they can become wormholes.
- 56:29In other words, 2 mouths
- 56:31in different positions that are entangled together on
- 56:33a quantum level
- 56:35that can allow matter
- 56:37to enter 1 and exit in the other.
- 56:40In other words, quite possibly, extraterrestrial
- 56:43objects
- 56:44could use plasma to manifest
- 56:46into our physical reality.
- 56:49It's possible
- 56:51that we are talking about objects and intelligences
- 56:54that exist on a higher dimensional
- 56:56frequency usually that are able to use plasma
- 56:59to enter our world and become what we
- 57:01call plasma beings or light beings.
- 57:04But, also, there's a chance that at least
- 57:07some of these objects and the entities that
- 57:09come from them are coming in from parallel
- 57:12worlds.
- 57:13Parallel worlds that coexist with us. How do
- 57:15they coexist with us? Because of the brains
- 57:19that I told you about before, the b
- 57:20r a n e s, that are created
- 57:23within the 11 dimensional bulk.
- 57:26Because according to the main
- 57:28theory of the bulk and the creation of
- 57:31the physical universe,
- 57:33other universes can be created at the same
- 57:35time,
- 57:36and they may not have the same
- 57:39laws of physics as our own.
- 57:41And that these different universes
- 57:44can exist independently,
- 57:45but they
- 57:47can interact
- 57:48and overlay each other. And when this happens,
- 57:51there can be bleed throughs from one to
- 57:54the other.
- 57:55So if you're interacting
- 57:57with a brain or a universe that's not
- 58:00quite the same as us or has
- 58:02different laws of physics, it has different animals,
- 58:04different creatures, different intelligences,
- 58:07different environments, then they can start bleeding through
- 58:10into our own. Probably only on a temporary
- 58:14basis because the chances are that these
- 58:17other universes
- 58:18come apart from our own eventually, maybe after
- 58:21a few minutes, a few hours, a few
- 58:22days, a few weeks, so that whatever has
- 58:25manifested into our world suddenly vanishes as if
- 58:28it was never there in the first place.
- 58:31But,
- 58:32you know, this is what we call
- 58:34bubble universes. These bubble universes, these other universes
- 58:38can come into existence
- 58:40even overlaying our own, and they don't have
- 58:42to be the same size as our own
- 58:43universe. They can be that big.
- 58:46You know, they can exist for
- 58:483 seconds or whatever. You know? In other
- 58:51words, they can open and close
- 58:53at will, sometimes overlaying with our own, sometime
- 58:57existing separately to our own, but occasionally
- 59:00interacting with our own. And this is the
- 59:02physics that we're dealing with now.
- 59:04And, again, this is not some new age
- 59:07concept that I'm creating in my head.
- 59:10This is what cutting edge science tells us
- 59:13is now possible
- 59:14through our knowledge of mathematics, of geometry,
- 59:18of astronomy,
- 59:19astrophysics,
- 59:21and physics as a whole.
- 59:24That's a great breakdown, and the glove analogy
- 59:27is a good one because when the hand
- 59:29is in the glove, you can then manipulate
- 59:31the shape of it, you know, pretty effortlessly.
- 59:35And so they are manipulating the shape of
- 59:37the plasma to sometimes appear as other things.
- 59:41But the description of how the plasmas come
- 59:43to be
- 59:45sounds very
- 59:47random. It's like lighting. It's like a flash
- 59:49in the pan almost is what it kinda
- 59:51sounds like. So it's from the perspective
- 59:53of
- 59:54the being that's inhabiting the plasma,
- 59:57how does it know this is going to
- 59:59occur? How does it get into the plasma?
- 1:00:02What are these intelligences doing when there's not
- 1:00:04a plasma present?
- 1:00:06Because in some instances,
- 1:00:09these are
- 1:00:10repeated
- 1:00:12communications
- 1:00:13with the same entity.
- 1:00:15So what is it about reading a grimoire
- 1:00:17and drawing a pentagram
- 1:00:19and facing a different direction? Because directionality is
- 1:00:22very key in a lot of those magical
- 1:00:24rituals and the timing, the astrological
- 1:00:27celestial timing is important,
- 1:00:29that it gets the same plasma to show
- 1:00:31up or at least one that can pretend
- 1:00:33to be the same and respond to the
- 1:00:35same name. Because people have ongoing communications, even
- 1:00:39aliens. People have ongoing visitations,
- 1:00:42and
- 1:00:43the ones that come seem to be aware
- 1:00:45of the previous interactions
- 1:00:46as well.
- 1:00:48So that's kinda where it's weird to me
- 1:00:50because the description, the scientific description makes sense,
- 1:00:53but it also seems so random and so
- 1:00:56chaotic and so quick, like a flash in
- 1:00:58the pan, as opposed to some of these
- 1:01:01other
- 1:01:02stories I hear of sustained communication over long
- 1:01:05periods of time.
- 1:01:06Yeah. Well, I mean, the idea that plasma
- 1:01:09can be occupied by
- 1:01:11intelligences
- 1:01:12existing
- 1:01:14quite literally
- 1:01:15outside of normal space time
- 1:01:17was
- 1:01:18really first proposed in the 19 sixties by
- 1:01:23a plasma physicist by the name of David
- 1:01:25Bohm.
- 1:01:26He wrote extensively
- 1:01:28on this subject, and many of my ideas
- 1:01:31unquestionably
- 1:01:32began with his.
- 1:01:34And he talked in terms of what he
- 1:01:37referred to as proto intelligences.
- 1:01:39Now that doesn't mean that they are substandard
- 1:01:42or anything like that, but they are intelligences
- 1:01:46that are not of a material nature
- 1:01:49that coexist with us in what we would
- 1:01:52perceive as an invisible
- 1:01:53state, probably involving
- 1:01:56a higher dimensional
- 1:01:58quality about them
- 1:02:00that we just cannot connect with properly. I
- 1:02:02mean and I think that Carl Sagan
- 1:02:05adequately
- 1:02:07described this back in the sixties and early
- 1:02:09seventies when he talked about
- 1:02:12us being three-dimensional
- 1:02:14beings. But if you can imagine
- 1:02:16two dimensional beings, flat beings that can only
- 1:02:19go forwards or sideways
- 1:02:21on a flat plan world, basically, that almost
- 1:02:24looks like a piece of paper.
- 1:02:26If those entities
- 1:02:28are there and then suddenly,
- 1:02:30a three-dimensional
- 1:02:31object, let's say, like a ball,
- 1:02:33passes through their
- 1:02:352 dimensional
- 1:02:36existence, what are they gonna see? All they're
- 1:02:39gonna see is suddenly a hole or opening
- 1:02:42up,
- 1:02:43and this black flap thing gradually getting bigger
- 1:02:47and bigger
- 1:02:48until it reaches its maximum width. And then
- 1:02:51suddenly,
- 1:02:52it getting smaller and smaller again as it
- 1:02:54passes through their 2 dimensional flat plan world.
- 1:02:58So how are they gonna interpret it?
- 1:03:02In other words, they're not gonna see it
- 1:03:03as a ball. They are never ever gonna
- 1:03:05see it as a ball because they are
- 1:03:072 dimensional
- 1:03:08in nature,
- 1:03:09and it's the same with us. If we
- 1:03:11are dealing with
- 1:03:13beings' intelligences
- 1:03:15that normally occupy, let's say, 4, maybe 5
- 1:03:18dimensions, perhaps even 11 dimensions,
- 1:03:21how are we going to perceive them? We're
- 1:03:23not. We might see flashes of light. We
- 1:03:25might see plasmas,
- 1:03:28but we won't fully understand what's right in
- 1:03:31front of our own eyes because we are
- 1:03:33three-dimensional
- 1:03:34creatures.
- 1:03:35The only way that we could possibly start
- 1:03:37understanding them is up here in our brain
- 1:03:41and within our consciousness
- 1:03:42and within dreams
- 1:03:44and within visions.
- 1:03:46Man.
- 1:03:47Wow. Well, sometimes even 2 hours isn't enough
- 1:03:50time. I always am thinking this. I had
- 1:03:53to discard quite a few things. I mean,
- 1:03:56just amazing material. We didn't even talk about
- 1:03:59Collins Cave. I know that in the past,
- 1:04:01you have done
- 1:04:03some kind of
- 1:04:05experiments with Oregon or been involved in a
- 1:04:07group for Oregon, and, that itself is fascinating.
- 1:04:10But, hey, you got more books coming out.
- 1:04:12Maybe we can do this again sometime.
- 1:04:14But I thank Hugh Newman for vouching for
- 1:04:16me and getting a full 2 hour show
- 1:04:18on the books. I know it's a big
- 1:04:20ask.
- 1:04:21I also know you have a lot of
- 1:04:22events coming on this year. I think a
- 1:04:24Turkey trip in May and then again in
- 1:04:26September, esoteric England in August, Peru in November.
- 1:04:30Before I really let you go, the reason
- 1:04:32we do the dance, let people know not
- 1:04:34only where they can get the book, I
- 1:04:36mean, where can't they get a book, but,
- 1:04:38you know, just the things you're working on,
- 1:04:39the things you have available,
- 1:04:41your website is your first and last name
- 1:04:44.com, but these trips are also a big
- 1:04:45thing you're doing.
- 1:04:47Yeah. I mean, this is something that I
- 1:04:48do, as you mentioned, with my good friend
- 1:04:51and colleague, Hugh Newman, and obviously his partner,
- 1:04:54JJ Ainsworth.
- 1:04:56You know, we are
- 1:04:58the top of our game relating to these
- 1:05:00Taj Teppala sites at the moment, you know,
- 1:05:02Karah and Tepai and Gobekli Teppai. And if
- 1:05:04you want to go out to these sites,
- 1:05:06you have no better company than us. I
- 1:05:08promise you.
- 1:05:10Because, you know, we've been on top of
- 1:05:11this for years. I mean, I've been on
- 1:05:12top of it for the last 2 decades,
- 1:05:15basically.
- 1:05:16Obviously, I've done various books on the subject.
- 1:05:18Gobekli Tepe, Genesis of the Gods, came out
- 1:05:20in 2014.
- 1:05:23Karahentepi,
- 1:05:24Civilization of the Anunnaki
- 1:05:25and
- 1:05:26the Cosmic Origins of the Serpent of Eden.
- 1:05:29Yeah. That's the one,
- 1:05:31which is the latest book, which obviously
- 1:05:34fully updates everything and covers this site of
- 1:05:37Karahantepe and everything we've been talking about today.
- 1:05:40But, you know, you've got other books as
- 1:05:41well. You got from the ashes of angels,
- 1:05:43which came out in 1996
- 1:05:44that really
- 1:05:45set the pace for it all, and it
- 1:05:47was actually being written
- 1:05:49at the same time
- 1:05:50that the first spades were going into the
- 1:05:52ground at Quebec, Tepe. I didn't have no
- 1:05:54knowledge of it, and, yeah, I pinpointed
- 1:05:56that area as the cradle of civilization
- 1:05:59and said, this is where you will find
- 1:06:01evidence of a shamanic elite that kick started
- 1:06:04civilization.
- 1:06:05And that's exactly where they found Quebec, Tepay.
- 1:06:08Plus you got my books on the UFOs,
- 1:06:11UAP, plasma intelligences,
- 1:06:13light quest, origins of the gods,
- 1:06:16and we haven't even talked about the Denisovans.
- 1:06:18If you wanna
- 1:06:19go all the way back
- 1:06:21to the origins of where all of this
- 1:06:24megalithic science comes from, they're the people, the
- 1:06:27Denisovans out of Siberia
- 1:06:29and China
- 1:06:30and Tibetan plateau and all the rest of
- 1:06:32it. That's where you're gonna find them.
- 1:06:35Andrewcollins.com
- 1:06:36is my website.
- 1:06:37You can obviously get these books from all
- 1:06:40good online
- 1:06:41stores. We're always told to plug Amazon and
- 1:06:44Barnes and Noble.
- 1:06:46Got Barnes and Noble get upset if you
- 1:06:48only ever mentioned Amazon, apparently.
- 1:06:51So I have to say that. And, yeah,
- 1:06:53we do these tours. We're going to Turkey
- 1:06:55in May and again in September.
- 1:06:58We're going to Peru, Bolivia, and Easter Island
- 1:07:01in November. That's gonna be an epic
- 1:07:04journey,
- 1:07:05which I'm probably gonna be away from my
- 1:07:07home probably about a month.
- 1:07:09That's me personally. Other people don't have to
- 1:07:11spend all that time there, but, you know,
- 1:07:13you can join any part of it.
- 1:07:15Yeah. All the details are there. And if
- 1:07:17you like what you heard,
- 1:07:20you can communicate with me either through the
- 1:07:23email address on the website
- 1:07:26or find me on social media. I mean,
- 1:07:28all the links to my social media and
- 1:07:29YouTube
- 1:07:31are on
- 1:07:31the opening page of the website. So
- 1:07:35hope to see you out and about,
- 1:07:37either at the tours or one of these
- 1:07:38conferences,
- 1:07:39I do as well.
- 1:07:41Amazing.
- 1:07:42Well, I really love talking to you. We
- 1:07:44covered a lot of ground. I've loved several
- 1:07:47of your books, and it seems like the
- 1:07:48ones I like most, I haven't even got
- 1:07:50to yet. But
- 1:07:52I really like that these tours are going
- 1:07:54on.
- 1:07:55I have heard you also talk about the
- 1:07:56fact that the World Economic Forum is doing
- 1:07:59some things that Gobekli Tepe trying to
- 1:08:02pour concrete there and plant trees and trying
- 1:08:05to keep things suppressed, and that's a whole
- 1:08:07another ball of wax. But, you know, go
- 1:08:10while you can, people. You know, take a
- 1:08:12trip while you can.
- 1:08:13Geopolitical tensions are high, trips might be hard
- 1:08:16to take in a couple of years, go
- 1:08:18now. I mean, I'm tempted to find a
- 1:08:19babysitter for the kids and get on one
- 1:08:21of these. If you ever do one to
- 1:08:22Guarana and the French Pyrenees and the Grail
- 1:08:24sites, I'll definitely have to loop in some
- 1:08:27babysitter for the kids and get out on
- 1:08:28one of those. But I can't imagine better
- 1:08:31guides than you and Hugh, so I hope
- 1:08:32some people take you up on that. But
- 1:08:34thanks for taking the time to talk to
- 1:08:36me today, and take care.
- 1:08:37My pleasure, Greg. Thank you.
- 1:08:41Oh, sweet baby Jesus. That is what I'm
- 1:08:44talking about. One of the best in the
- 1:08:47game, a name that was definitely on my
- 1:08:49dream guest list,
- 1:08:51crossed off. It was definitely good for me,
- 1:08:54and it's all thanks to Hugh who told
- 1:08:56Andrew that in the vast sea of podcasts
- 1:08:59trying to get an interview, THC
- 1:09:02is one that is worth taking the time
- 1:09:03to do.
- 1:09:05Sometimes, a personal recommendation
- 1:09:07is the difference.
- 1:09:09Hint hint, audience. Let's flex that muscle a
- 1:09:11bit more.
- 1:09:13But right up my alley.
- 1:09:15Exactly the kinds of topics I've been interested
- 1:09:18in recently. A surprise to no one listening,
- 1:09:21I'm sure.
- 1:09:22And another reason why 2 hours is so
- 1:09:25clutch. His latest book is about Karahan Tepe.
- 1:09:28And, of course, we're gonna talk about it
- 1:09:30and his latest discoveries and conclusions.
- 1:09:33But with such a huge back catalog of
- 1:09:36work that resonates with us right now, a
- 1:09:38second hour is when we can really get
- 1:09:41further into that.
- 1:09:43Examples being UFO cases
- 1:09:45and just
- 1:09:46the decades of contact with plasma beans and
- 1:09:49Skinwalker Ranch and Guirana and the Grail Quest
- 1:09:53and the French Pyrenees.
- 1:09:55We got into binding plasma beans for power
- 1:09:58if that is something that happens, and Stonehenge,
- 1:10:02and dodecahedrons,
- 1:10:03and dream space, and
- 1:10:06a lot of fun stuff.
- 1:10:08He's a very versatile guy, but yet so
- 1:10:10many roads do lead to the same places
- 1:10:12because I do think it's all connected.
- 1:10:15Anyway, get plus for $8 a month, 5
- 1:10:18shows a month, 750
- 1:10:20plus shows in the archive, all ad free
- 1:10:23and well edited and available
- 1:10:25to you,
- 1:10:27as you know. But the stars really align
- 1:10:29here in several ways.
- 1:10:31And, you know, every time I have an
- 1:10:33interview that covers this sort of material, I
- 1:10:35mention that 2 week trip in Armenia I
- 1:10:38took on the Graham Hancock tour.
- 1:10:40Also, remember that 3 part video is available
- 1:10:43on YouTube for free on my channel.
- 1:10:46I chaptered it out by site. I think
- 1:10:49there's, like, 5 sites in each one.
- 1:10:52But it is a great breakdown of the
- 1:10:53interesting things that I saw on that trip
- 1:10:56that never really get talked about, including a
- 1:10:58buried step pyramid, etcetera, etcetera.
- 1:11:02But I only bring that up to say
- 1:11:03I have been on one of these kinds
- 1:11:05of research trips. It was one of the
- 1:11:07first things I did with my newfound freedom
- 1:11:10from the day job.
- 1:11:12But if I could do it again, Andrew
- 1:11:14Collins and Hugh Newman would be my picks
- 1:11:17as the tour guides I would want.
- 1:11:20You can actually notice in the Armenia videos
- 1:11:22that our actual Armenian guides were way more
- 1:11:26out there and willing to talk about strange
- 1:11:29things, like where giant bones were buried and
- 1:11:32legends and a lot of great stuff
- 1:11:34that Graham sort of brushed off. Wasn't interested
- 1:11:37in that.
- 1:11:38So I just think Andrew and Hugh are
- 1:11:41way more
- 1:11:43my speed.
- 1:11:44But I am reminded that we went to
- 1:11:46this one monastery
- 1:11:48out on a cliffside. We had to take
- 1:11:49an air tram kind of thing. I think
- 1:11:51they said one of the longest of its
- 1:11:53kind on Earth.
- 1:11:55And we got up to this Tadev
- 1:11:57Monastery. And these are some hardcore,
- 1:12:00almost esoteric,
- 1:12:02isolated,
- 1:12:03black robed Christians.
- 1:12:06But they have this stone monument, a huge
- 1:12:09pillar. I believe it was, like,
- 1:12:1215 feet high, I would guess.
- 1:12:15And the pillar was said to move. And
- 1:12:17our tour guide tried to get us a
- 1:12:19demonstration, and they shot that down.
- 1:12:21But I was reminded of that because there
- 1:12:23is apparently this moving pillar in the Carahindepe
- 1:12:27complex.
- 1:12:29I don't know if we even talked about
- 1:12:30that, but it's in the book a good
- 1:12:31amount, and it gets mentioned in Karahhentepay
- 1:12:35conversation.
- 1:12:36So maybe a lot of you are familiar.
- 1:12:39But this TATEV Monastery
- 1:12:41had something like that, and it's said to
- 1:12:43detect earthquakes
- 1:12:45and
- 1:12:46be able to be swayed just with consciousness
- 1:12:49alone.
- 1:12:50You know how it goes. Rumors and speculation.
- 1:12:52But this is a little bit from the
- 1:12:54Wikipedia page.
- 1:12:56The pendulous column or swinging column is a
- 1:12:59monument dedicated to the holy trinity. It's located
- 1:13:02in the south of the cathedral. It compromises
- 1:13:05a column about 8 meters tall,
- 1:13:08crowned with a cracklar
- 1:13:10type cross.
- 1:13:11The column has been dated to the 10th
- 1:13:13century. The cross is no earlier than the
- 1:13:1618th century, but its form may be based
- 1:13:19on an earlier example built in the year
- 1:13:22906.
- 1:13:23This unique structure stands at a total height
- 1:13:26of 9 meters.
- 1:13:28Doing the conversion 9 meters is, like, 30
- 1:13:31feet,
- 1:13:32and they call it Gavazan. And they say
- 1:13:35what sets Gavazan apart is its remarkable ability
- 1:13:38to sway or swing without collapsing, making it
- 1:13:41the only structure in the
- 1:13:43complex to have survived the test of time,
- 1:13:46remaining intact
- 1:13:47despite centuries
- 1:13:49of existence.
- 1:13:50So if they're saying it's the only structure
- 1:13:53in the complex to have survived the test
- 1:13:55of time,
- 1:13:57I wonder if the pillar was here a
- 1:13:58lot longer and the monastery was just built
- 1:14:01around it. But check that out. It's a
- 1:14:03fun rabbit hole to get into what that
- 1:14:05pillar is about.
- 1:14:06Or you can just watch my part of
- 1:14:08that video,
- 1:14:09Tatev Monastery.
- 1:14:11I don't know. Just maybe another example of
- 1:14:13an ancient stone pillar with kind of weird
- 1:14:16qualities
- 1:14:17that
- 1:14:18I actually saw.
- 1:14:20Anyway, I do think we covered a ton
- 1:14:22of ground, and it was just great to
- 1:14:24get his thoughts on a number of subjects.
- 1:14:28Hopefully, the response is strong, so he won't
- 1:14:30be able to pass up a chance to
- 1:14:32return. That's the way it goes. Help me
- 1:14:34help you. Because I think there's a lot
- 1:14:36more material there I'd love to get into.
- 1:14:39But in higher side news, really just stay
- 1:14:41in the course. As I've been saying, I've
- 1:14:44added the new closing songs to the individual
- 1:14:47show pages. You don't have to be a
- 1:14:49plus member. Just download the MP 3 from
- 1:14:51the episode show notes if you want. Today's
- 1:14:54is pretty fun.
- 1:14:55And as we do, we take a look
- 1:14:57at the last episode rating.
- 1:14:59This episode, in particular, was largely Reddit focused
- 1:15:03with Magnaura 7.
- 1:15:05I had no idea where we would be.
- 1:15:08Was not sure how much overlap there was
- 1:15:10between THC and Reddit users, but
- 1:15:14it hit a bit better than I thought.
- 1:15:164.7.
- 1:15:18Clearly, a great majority of plus people found
- 1:15:21it interesting.
- 1:15:22So glad that's the case because it was
- 1:15:24a bit of an unknown.
- 1:15:25Glad we all had a good time. And
- 1:15:27as for the meetup calendar,
- 1:15:30we got February 1st, coming in hot, Conway
- 1:15:33Pub in Conway, Washington. February 3rd, Galbraith's Ale
- 1:15:37House in Auckland, New Zealand. February 7th, Bunk
- 1:15:41Bar in Portland, Oregon. I think that's a
- 1:15:43new one.
- 1:15:44February 8th, McCall Collective Tap House in Brarensville,
- 1:15:49Pennsylvania.
- 1:15:51And also February 8th, Carrollton, Texas, 3 Nations
- 1:15:54Brewery. Pretty sure that's new.
- 1:15:57February 10th, Santa Fe, New Mexico, Roots and
- 1:16:00Leaves, and February 15th,
- 1:16:02h two Booster
- 1:16:04in Vlissingen,
- 1:16:05Netherlands.
- 1:16:07Very awesome to see a pretty full calendar
- 1:16:10of events all over the place, just THC
- 1:16:12listeners getting together.
- 1:16:14If you can form a network or any
- 1:16:16kind of friendships or bonds based on that
- 1:16:18common ground,
- 1:16:20That's pretty impressive,
- 1:16:22and I love that people are out there
- 1:16:23trying.
- 1:16:24Go over to higher side meetups.com
- 1:16:26to get more details on any event, RSVP,
- 1:16:30or make your own. But that's the show.
- 1:16:33Really fun and out there stuff we got
- 1:16:35into today. Not a lot of people I
- 1:16:37could have that conversation with.
- 1:16:39When people ask me about my religious views,
- 1:16:41I'll just share this episode with them because
- 1:16:44close enough. Right?
- 1:16:46With that said, do take care. Thanks again
- 1:16:48to Andrew for his time and to you
- 1:16:51for listening.
- 1:16:52I'll see you on the next one. I've
- 1:16:53done my part.
- 1:16:55Your move, religion starting spirits, ritually revealed plasma
- 1:16:58beans, and the great snake genius in the
- 1:17:01sky.
- 1:17:03You're
- 1:17:27And it's happened
- 1:17:28to the stars align.
- 1:17:30You'll try to call.
- 1:17:57Up the stones
- 1:17:58and just following the plan.
- 1:18:01According to a ritual we could barely understand,
- 1:18:04we were so curious
- 1:18:06we just couldn't put it down.
- 1:18:09When the steps were all complete, we gathered
- 1:18:12around
- 1:18:13and it said,
- 1:18:15the stars align,
- 1:18:17we'll try to call.
- 1:18:36College if
- 1:18:37you can receive it.
- 1:18:42Bang
- 1:18:43the drum and take the brew just like
- 1:18:45we've instructed you, and this strange conscious
- 1:18:49connection will
- 1:18:51ensue.
- 1:19:09When the stars align,
- 1:19:12we'll try to
- 1:19:17call. Come to
- 1:19:19the shrine, open the portal.
- 1:19:26We'll give you knowledge,
- 1:19:28take it or leave it.
- 1:19:30From the cosmic college, if you can receive
- 1:19:34it.
