- 6:59Speaker 2: Of a deal too.
- 7:00Speaker 3: She should do it, quit whinning about it.
- 7:01Speaker 2: If you're not gonna do it, call the show.
- 7:04Speaker 4: I'm sure you are not the only person who's been
- 7:06Speaker 4: in a relationship that has decided to make lifestyle changes.
- 7:10Speaker 4: It's got to be hard for couples when one person
- 7:12Speaker 4: starts to change and the other one doesn't.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Eight three three five oh one BAMA is the number.
- 7:17Speaker 4: That's eight three three five oh one two two sixty
- 7:20Speaker 4: two if you're.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Listening to the Alabama Show on demand.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Jordan called the show a second ago, and he decided
- 7:27Speaker 4: to quit smoking and go to the gym and eat healthier.
- 7:30Speaker 4: And his girlfriend now has started saying that he's making
- 7:34Speaker 4: her feel guilty by getting healthy and she's not. But
- 7:37Speaker 4: he did not ask her to change anything that she does.
- 7:41Speaker 4: Eight three three five oh one BAMA is the number, Shelby,
- 7:44Speaker 4: what's your advice for Jordan and his girlfriend?
- 7:47Speaker 7: She should still guilty, so I should both be trying together.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Did you get healthy with your boo when they got
- 7:54Speaker 4: like when you were in a relationship?
- 7:56Speaker 2: Are you married?

- 8:11Speaker 7: Where are you calling from Alabama?
- 8:13Speaker 2: Well?
- 8:13Speaker 4: What part of Alabama County? Black County? What are you
- 8:16Speaker 4: doing right now? Where are you going?
- 8:18Speaker 7: Hea to the school? Taking kids in?
- 8:20Speaker 2: Where do they go?
- 8:20Speaker 7: Lookus for Aunianna?
- 8:22Speaker 2: All right, look, we're neighbors. I live in Blunt County.
- 8:25Speaker 7: All I know. I'm Mannick's wife.
- 8:27Speaker 4: Oh, you're married to Andrew who calls into the show
- 8:30Speaker 4: all the time. Okay, what do you think about Jordan
- 8:33Speaker 4: getting healthy and his girlfriend making him feel bad about it?
- 8:36Speaker 7: Not really to talk about it a lot When I
- 8:38Speaker 7: went through my weight loss, habit of talking about it
- 8:41Speaker 7: and it got kind of tedious and monotonous and they
- 8:45Speaker 7: got tired of hearing about it.
- 8:47Speaker 4: Yeah, but I feel like if that's something that you're
- 8:49Speaker 4: passionate about and you're bettering yourself, you should be able
- 8:52Speaker 4: to talk about it.
- 8:53Speaker 7: So if if they're not on the same journey as you,
- 8:57Speaker 7: it's not gonna be the same for them.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Are you still with that person?
- 9:02Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 9:03Speaker 2: Oh it was Andrew. Yeah, we are getting on to Andrew.
- 9:07Speaker 7: Hey, tell me, I don't want to hear about that
- 9:09Speaker 7: all the time.
- 9:09Speaker 4: Because he does acting all the time, and you got
- 9:12Speaker 4: to listen to his stuff.
- 9:14Speaker 7: That's where I'll wear a headphone someday.
- 9:18Speaker 2: We're calling Andrew and getting on to him for that. Cynthia,
- 9:21Speaker 2: thank you for calling.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Of course. Bye, y'all you were listening to the Alabama Show.
- 9:26Speaker 1: The following program is on demand.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Eight three thirty five one BAMA is the number to
- 9:31Speaker 4: call the show if you have been in a relationship
- 9:34Speaker 4: and gotten in shape and your partner did not, or
- 9:37Speaker 4: vice versa. Elizabeth, good morning, where are you calling from?
- 9:41Speaker 2: What are you doing today?
- 9:42Speaker 5: I'm taking my kids to school and then I got
- 9:45Speaker 5: to go to the doctors because the GOLP one shots
- 9:48Speaker 5: are messing with my stomach.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Oh girl, I've heard so many things about those. Well,
- 9:54Speaker 2: good luck. I hope that guys before you, have you
- 9:56Speaker 2: lost any weight on them?
- 9:58Speaker 4: Yes?
- 9:58Speaker 5: I started on I and my husband's eleventh anniversary March sixteenth,
- 10:03Speaker 5: and I've lost eighteen pounds.
- 10:06Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 10:07Speaker 5: I'm excited like I was stuck at two hundred and
- 10:09Speaker 5: twenty pounds for three years.
- 10:11Speaker 4: Oh look, I'm telling you, as you get older, it
- 10:13Speaker 4: is so hard to lose weight.
- 10:16Speaker 5: It is and it's horrible.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Are you calling.
- 10:18Speaker 4: About Jordan and his girlfriend and the getting healthy and
- 10:21Speaker 4: white loss?
- 10:21Speaker 2: I'm the same thing.
- 10:22Speaker 4: Okay, So what's your advice because you're going through the
- 10:25Speaker 4: GLP one journey?
- 10:26Speaker 5: I am, but I also work out too.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Okay. What about your husband?
- 10:30Speaker 5: He's in the military, so he's always in the gym
- 10:33Speaker 5: at work, and I would get upset because we couldn't
- 10:37Speaker 5: do it together. And I work nine to two from home,
- 10:41Speaker 5: so that was also an issue because if he's off,
- 10:44Speaker 5: I'm still working.
- 10:45Speaker 2: So what should Jordan and his girlfriend do?
- 10:49Speaker 5: The first thing that popped into my head. I am
- 10:51Speaker 5: a girl's girl, but also at the same time, if
- 10:55Speaker 5: you have an issue with how you look or what
- 10:57Speaker 5: your husband's or bouse art or whatever they're doing, do
- 11:02Speaker 5: it too. Get into it. Absolutely rhythms a routine.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I love that advice. Thank you for sharing. If you've
- 11:09Speaker 2: ever gone through this, call the show. We'd love to
- 11:11Speaker 2: hear from me. Eight three three five am Bama is
- 11:13Speaker 2: the number.
- 11:15Speaker 6: It's what the hell headlines, What the hell are you
- 11:18Speaker 6: talking about?
- 11:19Speaker 4: On the Alabama Show, a man got arrested after hiding
- 11:23Speaker 4: inside best Buy for Pokemon cards.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Why now I need to know? Did he get them?
- 11:29Speaker 2: No, he got arrested.
- 11:31Speaker 4: In California, a man hid inside a best Buy store
- 11:34Speaker 4: ahead of the new Pokemon card release, and then there
- 11:38Speaker 4: were employees monitoring the cameras overnight and they called them
- 11:41Speaker 4: on the cameras at about one am walking through the store. Meanwhile,
- 11:45Speaker 4: there's a whole line of people camped out front of
- 11:47Speaker 4: the Best Buy to get in when it opens in
- 11:49Speaker 4: the morning to get the Pokemon cards. So there was
- 11:52Speaker 4: a woman that said, I was just here for the
- 11:54Speaker 4: Pokemon drop. I went to the bathroom and then fifteen
- 11:57Speaker 4: minutes later there were cops everywhere. He went to jail.
- 12:02Speaker 4: He has burglory charges, and no, he did not get

- 12:16Speaker 4: way to celebrate Mother's Day with your mom. There's a
- 12:18Speaker 4: pre Mother's Day brunch at Mountwell Auditorium on Saturday, than
- 12:22Speaker 4: Mimosas and Gentlemen. Mother's Day Brunch at the Birmingham Event Center,

- 12:35Speaker 4: Lily's Cup Mother's Day Sunday tea on Sunday at the
- 12:38Speaker 4: Arlington House and Gardens.
- 12:40Speaker 2: So I would look around. There's a lot of stuff
- 12:42Speaker 2: going on.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Post Malone delayed his stadium tour with Jelly Roll to
- 12:47Speaker 4: finish his new album. He announced on Instagram that six

- 12:59Speaker 4: and Oxford. The tour will now begin June ninth in Charlotte,
- 13:03Speaker 4: North Carolina. A countdown appeared and disappeared from Taylor Swift's
- 13:08Speaker 4: website over the weekend.
- 13:10Speaker 3: This is very cryptic.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Fans are going crazy because the site reverted back to
- 13:14Speaker 4: its original life of a Showgirl theme. We don't know
- 13:17Speaker 4: if it's a glitch or if somebody from her team
- 13:19Speaker 4: accidentally published something a little too early. But the design
- 13:22Speaker 4: of the theme when it was the countdown, according to fans,
- 13:27Speaker 4: said it reminded them of Toy Story and Toy Story.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Five is going to drop in June.
- 13:32Speaker 4: So swifties think maybe she made a song for the
- 13:34Speaker 4: maybe which would be so cool.
- 13:36Speaker 3: That would be very interesting. I'd love to hear that.
- 13:38Speaker 4: I would love that too. We'll keep you updated if
- 13:40Speaker 4: we find out more. That's three things you need to
