- 0:41SPEAKER_00: Vegas Revealed, presented by Galindo Law, starts now.
- 0:46Dayna Roselli: Welcome to Vegas Revealed.
- 0:47Dayna Roselli: I'm Dana Roselli, along with Sean McAllister, and happy birthday to you.
- 0:53Dayna Roselli: I'm talking about Las Vegas.
- 0:54Sean McAllister: Las Vegas, 120 years old.
- 0:57Dayna Roselli: Unreal, right?
- 0:58Sean McAllister: Crazy.
- 0:59Sean McAllister: Started as a little railroad town, and look what we've become.
- 1:02Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 1:02Dayna Roselli: There was a big celebration last week and a panel.
- 1:05Dayna Roselli: We've got some great interviews coming up.
- 1:07Dayna Roselli: Now, Sean, I always struggle with this.
- 1:10Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 1:10Dayna Roselli: When I talk about Las Vegas, even all through the years, it's hard because I want to say our city turned 120.
- 1:17Dayna Roselli: There's our town.
- 1:18Dayna Roselli: It's so hard because Las Vegas has an area that's the city of Las Vegas, but the strip isn't in the city.
- 1:25Dayna Roselli: It's in the county.
- 1:26Dayna Roselli: Then we have areas like Henderson, Summerlin, Paradise, Winchester, North Las Vegas.
- 1:34Dayna Roselli: But I mean, I think in general we just call the whole area Las Vegas.
- 1:38Dayna Roselli: But I never know because I get like how I should say, because I'm just, you know, we're stickers.
- 1:44Dayna Roselli: It's the journalists in us.
- 1:46Dayna Roselli: I always think like, is you know, did our city turn 120?
- 1:49Dayna Roselli: Did our town or maybe just Las Vegas turn 120?
- 1:52Dayna Roselli: And maybe that we just call it a day there.
- 1:53Sean McAllister: Well, the way I like to think of it is none of the rest of this would be here if that little plot of land down by the railroad tracks in downtown Las Vegas never was subdivided, sold at a land auction, and created a a little boom town here in the middle of the desert.
- 2:14Sean McAllister: So if it wasn't for that, we wouldn't have all the rest of what we see.
- 2:18Sean McAllister: So I say let's celebrate it for everything.
- 2:21Dayna Roselli: Yeah, everything.
- 2:22Dayna Roselli: And you know, you're right, like the original, like people think the strip is, you know, you know, obviously there's downtown Las Vegas and there's the strip, and we're known for a lot of the times the strip, but it all started in downtown Las Vegas.
- 2:35Sean McAllister: Well, it did, and uh really the strip was kind of far away from downtown Las Vegas for a while.
- 2:41Sean McAllister: Right.
- 2:42Sean McAllister: There was a big stretch of just open desert, and then boom, you would see the El Rancho or Flamingo.
- 2:50Sean McAllister: It was not uh as uh packed in as it is today by any means.
- 2:56Dayna Roselli: Well, the celebration was at the top of Circa at the Legacy Club.
- 2:59Dayna Roselli: It was great.
- 3:00Dayna Roselli: There was a panel of speakers, um there there were a lot of people there uh in the sports world as well to celebrate and talk about Las Vegas then and now, you know, and and Shelly Berkeley, the mayor, was there, Derek Stevens was on the panel, uh it was great.
- 3:16Dayna Roselli: Um Steve Hill was there, you know, the head of the LVC VA, and uh the folks over at the Neon Museum.
- 3:22Dayna Roselli: So it was a great discussion, and uh they did a little champagne toast, they had a fabulous cake.
- 3:28Sean McAllister: And I've gotta say, the view up there at Legacy Club could not have been any better for this event because you had a panoramic view looking out at the entire Las Vegas Valley, but over there at Circa, that's like right down there kind of at the the epicenter of where Las Vegas did start.
- 3:48Sean McAllister: So being in that plot of land up in the sky, looking out of what Las uh what Las Vegas has become was a pretty cool thing.
- 3:56Sean McAllister: And then hearing the perspectives of uh these uh leaders in our city who have done so much to bring Las Vegas to where it is now and their visions for the future.
- 4:07Dayna Roselli: Yeah, really interesting.
- 4:08Dayna Roselli: And it it was good because it wasn't like too long, so we really got some good points out there.
- 4:13Dayna Roselli: We heard some great responses to certain questions that were thrown out.
- 4:18Dayna Roselli: We got to watch a little video which showed Vegas through the years, which is always so cool.
- 4:23Dayna Roselli: And like we talk about on the podcast all the time, you know, we are now a culinary destination.
- 4:29Dayna Roselli: We have, you know, we're a sports mecha.
- 4:31Dayna Roselli: We just, you know, we're an entertainment hub, obviously.
- 4:33Dayna Roselli: We're the mer, you know, the wedding capital of the world.
- 4:35Dayna Roselli: We have so much going on here.
- 4:38Dayna Roselli: And it was interesting to talk about how Las Vegas does keep evolving and what's next, like you just said.
- 4:46Dayna Roselli: And we got a chance to talk with Shelly Berkeley, who is the new mayor.
- 4:50Dayna Roselli: She took over for Carolyn Goodman, who turned out Shelly won the election.
- 4:54Dayna Roselli: And we've known Shelly through the years, but we haven't actually had an interview with Shelly, so we pulled her aside to chat.
- 5:00Dayna Roselli: What can we expect in the next five years in your in your eyes?
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: Well, just if you come up to the mayor's office and you're always welcome, if you look out one s one window that I have, this symphony park.
- 5:13SPEAKER_01: It is extraordinary.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: None of that existed when I was a kid growing up.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: If you look out my other window, this Civic Plaza, we are creating uh an inner city plaza where we're gonna have concerts and festivals and um farmers markets, anything you can think of that makes a community worth living in.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: And then you can go beyond that.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: There's so much growth and development.
- 5:41SPEAKER_01: I think it's my job, part of my job, to be promoting the city.
- 5:46SPEAKER_01: So over the next five years, you're going to see extraordinary growth and development.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: We need more housing.
- 5:53SPEAKER_01: Housing is going up all over town at a different amount, different levels of things.
- 5:59SPEAKER_01: Um workforce housing, affordable housing, more upscale housing.
- 6:04SPEAKER_01: That is happening because the need is there.
- 6:07SPEAKER_01: And we're gonna be concentrating on things that our our citizens need.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: And frankly, I shouldn't expect from their city.
- 6:16Dayna Roselli: I always feel like over the years, like you think about 120 years, but Las Vegas has changed a lot, but it's also not unrecognizable.
- 6:24Dayna Roselli: When you look at the old clips, it's still very similar to today.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: Um look, this is still a small town, and even though we keep growing, I mean, it's a town where everybody knows each other.
- 6:35SPEAKER_01: And like Aaron Berger, who's head of the Neon Museum, said, he's here four years, and he's a fixer in the community.
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: This is a community where you can really make a mark, and you don't have to be here for a hundred years with your grandfather on a board, and your father served on, and now you served on.
- 6:55SPEAKER_01: Oh no, we're all first generation people around here, and we're building a city for our children and our grandchildren to enjoy.
- 7:04Dayna Roselli: Did you ever see yourself being mayor a long time ago?
- 7:06Dayna Roselli: Was this a vision that you had, or just something from living here and going through the political arena that you thought?
- 7:12Dayna Roselli: I wanna do this.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: I always wanted to be in public service, and I've obviously had a number of elected jobs.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: This is the best one I've ever had.
- 7:23SPEAKER_01: It is so much fun, it's so much work, but I wake up in the morning, I can't wait to get to City Hall.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: And uh it gives me tremendous pleasure to give something back to a community that has been so good to me and my family.
- 7:38Sean McAllister: I love Shelly's stories and also her vision for what she wants to accomplish during her term as mayor as well.
- 7:45Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I I like that.
- 7:46Dayna Roselli: And she can tell she's excited about Las Vegas, just like Carolyn Goodman.
- 7:51Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 7:51Dayna Roselli: You know what I mean?
- 7:52Dayna Roselli: Like there's a passion there.
- 7:54Dayna Roselli: There's a passion, yeah.
- 7:54Dayna Roselli: It's great.
- 7:55Sean McAllister: Someone else who has passion is Steve Hill, who is the president and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.
- 8:03Sean McAllister: Um, we talked to him about the future of Las Vegas and what this 120-year celebration means.
- 8:10Sean McAllister: We also got an update on the Vegas Loop, that underground tunnel system that's gonna move people around town and help out with congestion.
- 8:17Dayna Roselli: So give us an update on the Vegas Loop, where we're at now.
- 8:20Dayna Roselli: I know the Westgate opened, and then you said Encore open?
- 8:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we opened the Encore station uh and the tunnel connecting that station to the system at the convention center about four weeks ago.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: Uh, we are in the process right now of uh mining that second tunnel um to win an encore.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: Uh we have two machines in the ground coming up paradise from just north of the airport, and they'll be connected to several stations on paradise.
- 8:48SPEAKER_00: Um, one that will allow a pretty easy walk over to the field, which will come in with my handy, and then it'll connect to the convention center and muscle.
- 8:58SPEAKER_00: Several permits that are turned in to continue the expansion of the system, hope to receive those permits for the next couple of months and put some more machines in the dynamic gun.
- 9:09Dayna Roselli: Well, that's what I was gonna say.
- 9:10Dayna Roselli: We were just talking about what the next five years look like, and I feel like people always say there's more growth.
- 9:14Dayna Roselli: It's like how could it grow more?
- 9:16Dayna Roselli: But I mean, you're preparing for that.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: Well, we are, and you know, if you look at the streets right now, you're not gonna make limb on the surface for more colours.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: That's pretty well as big as those robes can be.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: So being able to give a damn, particularly in a system that doesn't cost the public any money other than when they ride it, um, it's free.
- 9:37SPEAKER_00: Um, and that matters a lot, too.
- 9:39SPEAKER_00: It's something we can actually afford to do, and it really starts to relieve congestion in the test of the street.
- 9:46Dayna Roselli: We're celebrating the 120th birthday.
- 9:48Dayna Roselli: Um, when you look back at just being here in this city, uh, what does today mean to you, or what do you reflect on?
- 9:54SPEAKER_00: Well, you know, I've been here almost 40 years.
- 9:57SPEAKER_00: And in that period of time, we've gone from 600,000 people to nearly two and a half million.
- 10:03SPEAKER_00: We have gone from, you know, a southwestern entertainment city to the global capital of sports and entertainment and meetings, where everybody in the world knows who Las Vegas is.
- 10:16SPEAKER_00: It's a remarkable story in a short 120 years.
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: I don't think there are very many cities who can even talk about the globe, level upon the spectacular reputation that our city has developed in such a short period of time.
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: And it's because this whole community has come together to make that happen.
- 10:36SPEAKER_00: It's not just the folks, it takes the folks who are investing the money in these humongous and beautiful properties, but it takes the entire community making it happen, our workforce, our elected officials, our agencies to clear the way and make it happen.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: And then to welcome our visitors and welcome them back and show them such hospitality.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: Um, no cities like that.
- 10:59SPEAKER_00: When we leave, we notice it.
- 11:01SPEAKER_00: And when we come back, and when our visitors come, they notice that too.
- 11:05Dayna Roselli: And even with all the sports, with WrestleMania here and then the golden, everything was going on, it just seems to continue, and then it was nice to hear some big cheers today when we mentioned the athletics and the Hays coming here.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: It is, it is.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: We're excited about having them here in 28.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: We're excited about that iconic ballpark that's going to be on the corner of such an important intersection in Las Vegas.
- 11:28SPEAKER_00: Um, it's just the next big step in creating what we are here in Las Vegas.
- 11:34SPEAKER_00: Um, we appreciate their commitment to the city.
- 11:38SPEAKER_00: Um, but we again, the community has come together, the states come together to make that happen.
- 11:44SPEAKER_00: There aren't many places in the in the country, a little in the world, that can do that.
- 11:48SPEAKER_00: And we do it repetitively.
- 11:51Dayna Roselli: And I know there's always ups and downs and struggles.
- 11:53Dayna Roselli: We were just talking to someone who said, but Vegas is Vegas, and Vegas always knows how to market everything.
- 11:57Dayna Roselli: It's like people keep coming.
- 11:58Dayna Roselli: I was at the Fountain Blue last weekend, I did a staycation, it was packed.
- 12:01Dayna Roselli: I mean, we we're, you know, constantly finding ways to bring people in and in it.
- 12:07Dayna Roselli: I just feel like it's been that way since I've moved here 20 years ago.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: Well, and that's right.
- 12:11SPEAKER_00: We we continue, people talk about us reinventing ourselves.
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: What we do is create the next idea and add it to all the great ideas that people have had.
- 12:20SPEAKER_00: And, you know, we learn as we go along, we adapt when we have to, we've been resilient through, you know, some real prices uh over the past 20 years or so.
- 12:31SPEAKER_00: Um, but the city knows how to do that and bounces back faster than any place else.
- 12:36SPEAKER_00: People need to be here.
- 12:38SPEAKER_00: They don't just want to be here, they need their time in Las Vegas, and they miss it when they can't come.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: Um so all of those qualities have allowed Vegas to be who we are.
- 12:48Dayna Roselli: I bet people come up to you all the time and are like, wow, you're like the head of Las Vegas.
- 12:52Dayna Roselli: I mean, it's gotta be such a cool job.
- 12:54Dayna Roselli: You must love your job.
- 12:55SPEAKER_00: I have the best job in the state, and I have the easiest product in the world to sell.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: And so, yeah, it is a fantastic place to represent.
- 13:05SPEAKER_00: There's no other product, let alone city.
- 13:08SPEAKER_00: There's no other product in the world where all you have to do is just say the name and people's eyes light up.
- 13:14SPEAKER_00: And this community has created that.
- 13:16SPEAKER_00: It's uh it's a it's an honor uh to be a part of representing the city.
- 13:20Dayna Roselli: It's always great to talk to Steve.
- 13:22Dayna Roselli: He never hesitates on any of his answers.
- 13:24Dayna Roselli: He loves talking about Las Vegas, and I like him.
- 13:27Dayna Roselli: He's he's really straightforward and great to have conversations with.
- 13:30Dayna Roselli: But yeah, like I just mentioned, when you go overseas or anywhere out of town, you say you're from Las Vegas, people immediately strike up conversation with you.
- 13:38Sean McAllister: It is a conversation starter, without a doubt.
- 13:40Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 13:41Sean McAllister: Uh someone else we heard from uh on the panel is Andrew Simon, who's the CEO of the Fremont Street Experience.
- 13:48Sean McAllister: And he made a point, and and afterward, both of us looked at each other and we were like, you know what?
- 13:54Sean McAllister: That's right.
- 13:55Sean McAllister: And he was actually talking about the security uh in downtown Las Vegas and uh specifically on the Fremont Street Experience and the surrounding areas.
- 14:04Sean McAllister: Um and just what a good job not only the Metro Police do, but there are city marshals and there are private security uh agencies uh that patrol those areas as well.
- 14:17Sean McAllister: And when we were thinking about it, we're like, you really don't hear about like the big major incidents.
- 14:24Sean McAllister: Incidents happening down there.
- 14:26Dayna Roselli: Uh it's so true, because I think that a lot of times when you look at social media, you'll see a fight broke out underneath the you know, Fremont Street canopy.
- 14:35Dayna Roselli: Like every now and then, and it makes it look like but the thing is, is like how many fights break out at the mall in a small town, you know, a bunch of teenagers or in a Taco Bell.
- 14:43Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 14:43Dayna Roselli: Um But that's the thing is when you really think about it, you know, it and what he was pointing out is people come to Las Vegas and they return to Las Vegas because we have second-to-none security.
- 14:58Dayna Roselli: And uh he said it's one of the safest places to be and have a good time.
- 15:02Dayna Roselli: And we were like, you know what, he's right.
- 15:04Dayna Roselli: Like Remont Street, you know, because there's like street performers and you know, and a lot of people.
- 15:11Dayna Roselli: A lot of people you think like, oh, it must be but really there it's been a very safe place through the years since I've been here and you've been here.
- 15:19Sean McAllister: Well, and even uh thinking about the uh summer concert series that they do down there under the canopy.
- 15:25Sean McAllister: I mean, they shut that up.
- 15:27Sean McAllister: They kind of put up barricades around and you need to you know go through checkpoints and everything.
- 15:32Sean McAllister: But people are hacked in for those concerts, and even for those to not have uh big disturbances break out is uh is an incredible thing.
- 15:43Sean McAllister: People are just there listening to the music, having a good time, and that's what we like to see.
- 15:50Sean McAllister: That's what we want the world to experience right here in Las Vegas.
- 15:54Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so if you're thinking of coming to Las Vegas, keep that top of mind.
- 15:58Dayna Roselli: Because sometimes, you know, we just get used to run-of-the-mill days here, blah blah blah.
- 16:02Dayna Roselli: But then when he said that, we were like, you know, it is a really safe place, and that it is an added bonus, especially these days.
- 16:08Dayna Roselli: It is, you know, extra eyes, extra ears, uh people out there and on it and he said there's a lot of great things to come.
- 16:15Dayna Roselli: Uh he's they're always thinking of new things for the Fremont Street Canopy, which is uh he's right, unlike any other in I don't know who who even has that anywhere across the United States.
- 16:25Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 16:25Sean McAllister: I don't even know.
- 16:27Sean McAllister: I don't I don't know that there is one, but he said that they are constantly uh upgrading it.
- 16:32Sean McAllister: It's not going away.
- 16:34Sean McAllister: The Viva Vision canopy, and it sounds like they might start having uh viewing events for big whether it's a sporting event or whatever, the that you know, viewing parties might happen underneath the canopy there too.
- 16:48Sean McAllister: Which I know on New Year's Eve they'll put uh some of the local news broadcasts up there with live pictures of the fireworks and so it it's been done before, but it sounds like they have plans to take it a few steps further.
- 17:01Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 17:02Dayna Roselli: That'll be good.
- 17:02Dayna Roselli: That'll be really good.
- 17:03Dayna Roselli: It's always a really cool thing.
- 17:04Dayna Roselli: I like to see what they do there.
- 17:06Dayna Roselli: Um, hey, uh after that we went down the road to stayed in downtown Las Vegas, but we went to a grand opening party for a restaurant that we've talked about before.
- 17:15Dayna Roselli: It's called Barb.
- 17:17Dayna Roselli: It's James Tree's new restaurant.
- 17:19Dayna Roselli: So we won't get in depth because we've already talked about that.
- 17:22Dayna Roselli: But a funny thing happened that Sean and I wanted to share because we we interview a lot of people, we see a lot of people, we have seen a lot of celebrities, we've interviewed a lot of celebrities.
- 17:35Dayna Roselli: But you and I were at this party and it wasn't overly huge, you know, it was invited guests and we're there and we're sitting down, and you're like, is that Aunt Becky?
- 17:44Dayna Roselli: And I'm like and I immediately knew who you were talking about.
- 17:48Sean McAllister: Like it wasn't even I didn't need to explain.
- 17:51Sean McAllister: I was like, Oh my gosh, that's Aunt Becky.
- 17:53Dayna Roselli: And I was like, Where?
- 17:54Dayna Roselli: I immediately like to try, but it's funny because um she was there, friends of friends, or whatever.
- 18:01Dayna Roselli: And so, like, in that setting, when you're at a private party, you know, you don't want to go up and do a whole interview and do all that, right?
- 18:09Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 18:10Dayna Roselli: Um, we also aren't the type to be like, Wanna take a selfie?
- 18:13Dayna Roselli: That's not us.
- 18:14Dayna Roselli: We weren't kind of brought up that way in our field.
- 18:17Dayna Roselli: Um, I know today the the reporters and anchors do that out in the field, but it always feels odd to be.
- 18:22Sean McAllister: But she was there.
- 18:23Sean McAllister: Lori Laughlin is Aunt Becky's real name.
- 18:25Dayna Roselli: Oh yeah.
- 18:28Sean McAllister: But she was there as an invited guest, having fun with her group of people.
- 18:32Sean McAllister: So we weren't gonna ruin the ruin the vibe.
- 18:36Dayna Roselli: But it was funny to see us get a little giddy over it.
- 18:39Dayna Roselli: That's what I'm laughing at.
- 18:40Dayna Roselli: Because I was like, oh, I gotta sneak a little video of Aunt Becky, you know, of Lori.
- 18:44Dayna Roselli: Uh Lori looked amazing, by the way.
- 18:47Dayna Roselli: Fantastic.
- 18:47Dayna Roselli: I was like, wow, stunning.
- 18:49Dayna Roselli: But yeah, I mean, who didn't watch Full House or the reruns or whatever?
- 18:53Sean McAllister: G G I F on ABC.
- 18:54Sean McAllister: That's always so good.
- 18:56Dayna Roselli: So anyway, it was good to see her there, and it was just a funny little moment that we had um, you know, at the at the party.
- 19:05Dayna Roselli: Great party, tons of great drinks, food, uh got to talk with so many people we hadn't seen in a while.
- 19:11Dayna Roselli: It was great.
- 19:12Sean McAllister: And I think it just goes to show also that you never know who you're going to see at a Las Vegas event.
- 19:18Dayna Roselli: True.
- 19:19Dayna Roselli: Absolutely.
- 19:20Dayna Roselli: And I love the downtown vibe lately.
- 19:21Dayna Roselli: We left there going, you know what?
- 19:23Dayna Roselli: We walked to our car, it was a beautiful night.
- 19:25Dayna Roselli: It was great, right?
- 19:26Sean McAllister: They have done such a great job, especially down there in the arts district, of uh I mean the streets, they've done a great job of uh in reworking the streets and making them nicer.
- 19:40Sean McAllister: Uh the properties down there have uh I mean I feel like when one property uh makes upgrades, it kind of encourages other properties uh to do the same.
- 19:52Sean McAllister: And that that domino effect has been happening and the arts district really is uh a nice place to go and hang out.
- 20:01Sean McAllister: There's you know, right on Main Street, there's the the string lights that go across the street, and you have those lit up at night, and there's outdoor patios, and there's people walking around with their coffee and walking their dogs.
- 20:15Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 20:16Dayna Roselli: So cute boutiques there, there's antique shops you can find old Vegas items.
- 20:21Dayna Roselli: There's a lot of secondhand stores there where people, you know, uh there are uh you know bars, restaurants, bar, breweries, you name it.
- 20:31Dayna Roselli: And you know, Carolyn Goodman, our former mayor and Oscar Goodman really believed in beefing up that area and they've laid the groundwork there.
- 20:39Dayna Roselli: Shelly said she's gonna keep going.
- 20:40Dayna Roselli: So I I like that.
- 20:42Dayna Roselli: Um Mayor Berkeley.
- 20:44Dayna Roselli: I shouldn't just call her Shelly.
- 20:45Dayna Roselli: I feel like I'm uh I've known her for so long.
- 20:48Dayna Roselli: Gotta give her the official title now.
- 20:50Dayna Roselli: My mom said to me, Is Shelly Berkeley the one on Hacks?
- 20:53Dayna Roselli: And I'm like, no.
- 20:55Dayna Roselli: The the just to be clear for anyone who's watching the TV show Hacks on Max, which is phenomenal and has a lot of Vegas ties.
- 21:05Dayna Roselli: There's the they have a mayor on there, but is it is an actress and it is a play off of it's not and it's a fictional storyline, too.
- 21:14Dayna Roselli: It's a fictional storyline.
- 21:15Sean McAllister: You'll have to watch hacks to know what we're talking about.
- 21:18Sean McAllister: We're not gonna get into it here.
- 21:20Dayna Roselli: No, we're not gonna get into it here.
- 21:22Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 21:23Dayna Roselli: Well, listen, people love the Rise Festival.
- 21:25Dayna Roselli: This is something I see every year and go, I need to go, I need to go.
- 21:28Dayna Roselli: Have you ever been?
- 21:29Dayna Roselli: I feel like you went once.
- 21:30Sean McAllister: You know what?
- 21:30Sean McAllister: I've never been to uh specifically the Rise Festival, but I've been to other uh lantern festivals that have happened in the desert outside of Las Vegas.
- 21:43Sean McAllister: Um and they it really is such uh it's a fun, unique thing to do.
- 21:48Dayna Roselli: It looks it.
- 21:49Sean McAllister: And it's beautiful when the lanterns go up in the sky.
- 21:52Sean McAllister: It's just sensational.
- 21:54Sean McAllister: I do have a tip at the end of this, though, if you are going out there.
- 21:57Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 21:58Dayna Roselli: Well, this is the tenth anniversary of the Festival.
- 22:00Dayna Roselli: And if you don't know what that is, it's the world's largest sky lantern festival.
- 22:05Dayna Roselli: And it's out there in the Mojave Desert.
- 22:07Dayna Roselli: So this is quite a scene and quite a moment.
- 22:12Dayna Roselli: Every year it's like fingers crossed that the weather's going to be good and everything's going to be, you know, go in in order and how it's supposed to, because people they do their lantern and they make wishes and hopes and dreams and honor people and they let the lantern free.
- 22:26Dayna Roselli: Um, so it's known for uh this fusion of light, music, human connection.
- 22:32Dayna Roselli: And this year, like I said, they're celebrating uh 10 years and they've got quite a lineup of musical artists across three nights.
- 22:39Sean McAllister: Yeah, I was really excited to see that they were putting such an emphasis on having uh live artists out there.
- 22:47Sean McAllister: I mean, they always have music in some some fashion, but it's the first time that I remember them having like a roster of headliners performing at the festival.
- 22:58Dayna Roselli: Uh that me too, but I don't know for sure, but I I don't remember.
- 23:04Sean McAllister: Yeah, uh but never to the of the caliber of artists that they have for this 10-year anniversary.
- 23:11Sean McAllister: And we're talking global music icons, Rufus Del Sol, Kelvin Harris, and John Mayer, who are all performing on the roster at the Rise Lantern Festival for this to celebrate a decade of the festival.
- 23:25Dayna Roselli: It's gonna be great.
- 23:26Dayna Roselli: And then with that, they've got a whole other roster of artists too that are gonna be there uh spanning electronic music, indie folk, experimental genres.
- 23:37Dayna Roselli: Oh, I wonder what that is.
- 23:39Dayna Roselli: Um, but all of that happening over these three days, it sounds like it's gonna be spectacular.
- 23:44Sean McAllister: Yeah, it really does.
- 23:45Dayna Roselli: And this is more up my alley.
- 23:47Dayna Roselli: I'm not a burning man girl.
- 23:49Sean McAllister: No, and this is super chill.
- 23:51Sean McAllister: I I would suggest if you are going, like bring a blanket or something to lay on the ground so you can sit, have your own space.
- 24:01Sean McAllister: If you have some like collapsible chairs that you can throw over your shoulder and bring out there, even better.
- 24:08Sean McAllister: Um, also, when you're lighting your lantern, it can get tricky.
- 24:13Sean McAllister: So you have to one person like holds the actual lantern while another person lights it.
- 24:19Sean McAllister: Oh.
- 24:20Sean McAllister: But you can't let it go immediately.
- 24:22Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 24:22Sean McAllister: You have to wait until the hot air fills your lantern and you feel it almost like tugging like it wants to take off.
- 24:31Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 24:32Sean McAllister: And then hold it for a few more seconds, and then still holding on to it, lift it above your head.
- 24:38Sean McAllister: Oh boy, and then let it take off.
- 24:39Sean McAllister: Because I can't tell you the number of times I saw someone let their lantern go early, and it would just like it would go just high enough to like bonk people in the head as it was trying to get up in the air.
- 24:52Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 24:53Dayna Roselli: You're sitting there feeling all spiritual, and then you're like bonks.
- 24:56Sean McAllister: And I'm like, ah, a flame is flying at me.
- 24:59Sean McAllister: Careful.
- 25:00Sean McAllister: So, yes, hold on to your lantern longer than you think you need to, and then it'll shoot right up in the air.
- 25:06Dayna Roselli: Okay, good tip.
- 25:08Dayna Roselli: Hey, tickets are already on sale.
- 25:10Dayna Roselli: Uh, they went on sale May 16th.
- 25:12Dayna Roselli: Go to Risefestival.com and secure your ticket.
- 25:17Dayna Roselli: We'll have to look after this to see um how it's going because uh you know I might want to buy a ticket.
- 25:24Dayna Roselli: It's in October, by the way.
- 25:25Dayna Roselli: We didn't say that.
- 25:26Sean McAllister: Yeah, and it's uh it usually sells out.
- 25:28Sean McAllister: So you do need to make plans and get on it if you're planning to go.
- 25:33Sean McAllister: Something else that sells out is BravoCon.
- 25:35Sean McAllister: Returning here to Las Vegas for the second year.
- 25:38Sean McAllister: Uh last year, people went absolutely bonkers about BravoCon.
- 25:43Dayna Roselli: And that's a thing.
- 25:44Dayna Roselli: I mean, you just gotta have everything in Vegas because then you'll have it again.
- 25:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 25:48Dayna Roselli: Because it's so good.
- 25:49Dayna Roselli: We just host events like this, you know.
- 25:52Dayna Roselli: This is up our alley.
- 25:54Dayna Roselli: People love BravoCon.
- 25:56Dayna Roselli: Uh this year it's November 14th to the 16th.
- 25:59Dayna Roselli: They are back for Bravo Con 2025.
- 26:02Dayna Roselli: I don't watch Bravo a lot.
- 26:04Dayna Roselli: I know you watch it more often, and I was looking at all the lingo.
- 26:07Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 26:08Dayna Roselli: You gotta be a what, a Bravo holic?
- 26:10Dayna Roselli: There's Bravo Lebs.
- 26:11Dayna Roselli: Bravo Lebrities, yeah.
- 26:13Sean McAllister: The Bravo Bravo Lebrities that you see on a lot of the reality shows, the Real Housewives, Below Deck, yeah, all that.
- 26:21Sean McAllister: So there's like more than series.
- 26:24Dayna Roselli: There's more than 75 events planned.
- 26:27Dayna Roselli: So um, if you love these shows, you need to come.
- 26:32Dayna Roselli: I have friends at home that were like, oh my gosh, I would be in heaven.
- 26:35Dayna Roselli: I want to go so bad.
- 26:36Dayna Roselli: So you just pop around to different things and it's all the Bravo liberties.
- 26:40Sean McAllister: So basically, imagine uh, you know how at the end of, for example, a real housewives season, Andy Cohen sits down and does a reunion show.
- 26:49Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 26:49Sean McAllister: Where the cast members come together, they dish about all the stuff that went on all season long.
- 26:55Sean McAllister: Well, they do live panel essentially live uh reunion shows on stage during BravoCon, but it's but they mix different cast members together.
- 27:09Sean McAllister: So you're hearing dish about the different shows, you're hearing, I mean, sometimes it can get catty, sometimes there are funny moments, there are big revelations about relationships that are going on that have have bubbled up since filming stopped.
- 27:27Sean McAllister: So people who are online on social media following their Bravo liberties and staying up to date on on what's going on in their lives and all the drama.
- 27:37Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 27:37Dayna Roselli: I always see all this drama.
- 27:40Dayna Roselli: That's what it that's what it's about, really, right?
- 27:42Sean McAllister: That's what it's about.
- 27:43Sean McAllister: People just love the drama.
- 27:45Dayna Roselli: Well, we're glad they're returning to Vegas.
- 27:47Dayna Roselli: It makes sense.
- 27:48Dayna Roselli: We have so much here, and it just seems like the Bravo liberties would would really live it up.
- 27:53Dayna Roselli: And the people and the people too, right?
- 27:55Dayna Roselli: That are coming.
- 27:56Dayna Roselli: So tickets available, uh, not until June 6th.
- 28:00Dayna Roselli: So you got some time, but get ready, set your alarm.
- 28:03Dayna Roselli: BravoCon2025.com is the website you need to go to.
- 28:08Dayna Roselli: And good luck because last year, what it sold out quick.
- 28:12Sean McAllister: It sold out really quick, like it within minutes.
- 28:15Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 28:15Sean McAllister: So yeah, get on it if you want to get in on BravoCon.
- 28:20Dayna Roselli: Hey, we're getting ready for the American Music Awards.
- 28:22Dayna Roselli: Uh, we won't go in depth here because we'll have some coverage next week, but uh, it's at the Fountain Blue this year, first time.
- 28:28Dayna Roselli: Uh, there's a big red carpet planned.
- 28:30Dayna Roselli: It's inside the Fountain Blue.
- 28:32Dayna Roselli: The show is gonna be live from the Fountain Blue.
- 28:34Dayna Roselli: It's hosted by Jennifer Lopez, but we did get a rundown of people that we can definitely expect to be there.
- 28:40Dayna Roselli: And so we wanted to let you know Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, Benson Boone, Gloria Estefan, Janet Jackson, Sir Rod Stewart, Renee Rapp, Laney Wilson.
- 28:52Sean McAllister: Uh, so it's gonna be a good time.
- 28:55Sean McAllister: Uh Rod Stewart uh is receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award.
- 29:00Sean McAllister: That's cool.
- 29:01Sean McAllister: Uh Janet Jackson receiving the Icon Award.
- 29:05Sean McAllister: And by the way, she's doing her residency shows at the same time that the award show is happening, so you can see her.
- 29:11Sean McAllister: Get the award, then pop over to her show.
- 29:13Sean McAllister: Uh, but it's gonna be uh a great night over at Fountain Blue.
- 29:18Sean McAllister: These are fan voted awards.
- 29:21Sean McAllister: So uh then there's a tie-in with the Easy Day Foundation, yeah, which is based here in Las Vegas, too, to uh really help military members transition into civilian life.
- 29:31Sean McAllister: So lots of different angles.
- 29:33Sean McAllister: We're excited to be there on the red carpet and uh backstage to see all the stuff that goes on and share it with you.
- 29:40Dayna Roselli: It'll be exciting.
- 29:41Dayna Roselli: It is uh live, by the way.
- 29:42Dayna Roselli: So if you're on the West Coast, Pacific time, it'll be at 5 p.m., East Coast, 8 p.m.
- 29:49Dayna Roselli: Monday, Memorial Day.
- 29:51Dayna Roselli: That's May 26th.
- 29:54Dayna Roselli: All right, let's do some tips.
- 29:59Dayna Roselli: Sean, you and I always talk about RPM at the forum shops, how we went there when it opened, we went to the opening party, it was fabulous.
- 30:06Dayna Roselli: We met someone for a drink there shortly after, but we haven't really like sat down and had a meal now.
- 30:12Dayna Roselli: And then you said, Well, no, I did.
- 30:13Dayna Roselli: My sister was in town, but it was still a while ago, and I had never gone back for a dinner, so I met a friend um at RPM, and I just wanted to give some tips.
- 30:24Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 30:24Dayna Roselli: But um, it's a great restaurant, it's Italian.
- 30:28Dayna Roselli: Bill and Giuliana Rancick run it, own it.
- 30:30Sean McAllister: Beautiful, beautiful restaurant.
- 30:32Sean McAllister: Uh, it's on the ground floor of the forum shops over at Caesars Palace.
- 30:38Sean McAllister: If you're uh walking in from the strip, the entrance that is kind of over uh by where the mirage used to be, uh if you walk in that entrance, uh you'll see True Food Kitchen to the left, and to the right is RPM.
- 30:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 30:54Dayna Roselli: So Sean, first of all, while I waited for my friend at the bar, yes, I was like, should I have a martini?
- 31:01Dayna Roselli: Should you?
- 31:02Sean McAllister: Okay, you should never have to ask yourself that question.
- 31:06Dayna Roselli: Well, I've been trying to like, you know, it's been a rough year, so I feel like I've been drinking a lot of wine and having a lot of martinis.
- 31:11Dayna Roselli: So I was thinking try and cut down.
- 31:14Sean McAllister: Sometimes that happens.
- 31:16Dayna Roselli: Well, anyway, I had a dirty martini, like I usually do with Tito's.
- 31:19Sean McAllister: I'm proud of you.
- 31:20Dayna Roselli: And he said, Do you want blue cheese olives?
- 31:23Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 31:23Dayna Roselli: Not only were the blue cheese olives amazing and stuffed, like big and juicy, he put three of them on the toothpick.
- 31:32Sean McAllister: That's like an appetizer right there.
- 31:35Dayna Roselli: So what a fabulous martini.
- 31:36Dayna Roselli: I just want to say if you're looking for a dirty martini or a regular martini with blue cheese olives, they put three plump and juicy ones right there on the stick.
- 31:46Dayna Roselli: So it was a great martini.
- 31:48Sean McAllister: Is that the brand, Plump and Juicy?
- 31:50Dayna Roselli: They should make one called Plump and Juicy.
- 31:53Dayna Roselli: Uh, we had a great meal.
- 31:54Dayna Roselli: We had some octopus, which was great.
- 31:57Dayna Roselli: We had the Brussels sprout salad.
- 32:00Dayna Roselli: That was fabulous.
- 32:01Dayna Roselli: I had a pasta dish.
- 32:02Dayna Roselli: What did I have?
- 32:03Sean McAllister: I had uh Bucatini.
- 32:05Dayna Roselli: I had the linguini and shrimp.
- 32:07Dayna Roselli: It was amazing.
- 32:09Dayna Roselli: Um, my friend Anthony had like a chicken.
- 32:12Dayna Roselli: It was a it was a really good.
- 32:14Dayna Roselli: I can't remember exactly, but we loved everything.
- 32:16Dayna Roselli: But the tip was the martini.
- 32:18Dayna Roselli: And then also I wanted everyone to know during the week, they have happy hour from 3 to 5 p.m.
- 32:25Dayna Roselli: There are$8 appetizers, cocktails, and wine, and$5 beers.
- 32:30Dayna Roselli: So FYI, three to five.
- 32:32Dayna Roselli: If you want to like do a happy hour before dinner or do a happy hour before you're about to go to a show, this could be the place for you.
- 32:42Sean McAllister: Or do happy hour before you go to bed.
- 32:45Dayna Roselli: Whatever works out.
- 32:46Sean McAllister: If you have an early bedtime.
- 32:48Sean McAllister: I know.
- 32:48Dayna Roselli: Actually, this would be great for me in my old shift when I used to get out at 12 30 p.m.
- 32:52Sean McAllister: Right.
- 32:53Sean McAllister: Right.
- 32:54Sean McAllister: But these are great prices.
- 32:56Sean McAllister: Are you kidding me?
- 32:57Sean McAllister: Eight dollars for appetizers, cocktails, and wine.
- 33:00Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and this is a good place.
- 33:02Dayna Roselli: So the food's great.
- 33:03Dayna Roselli: Oh, yeah.
- 33:03Dayna Roselli: The drinks go.
- 33:04Dayna Roselli: So excellent.
- 33:05Dayna Roselli: And then listen to this one Monday through Friday, they have a$35 prefix lunch.
- 33:10Dayna Roselli: And so great option as well.
- 33:13Dayna Roselli: Like you get like an appetizer, you get your main meal, you get a dessert.
- 33:17Dayna Roselli: So another great deal.
- 33:18Dayna Roselli: So RPM, and I feel like it's great that they have this because no matter how good a restaurant is in Las Vegas, we do have a lot of them.
- 33:26Dayna Roselli: And a lot of them you have to find.
- 33:29Dayna Roselli: If you aren't at the forum shops or you're not walking by, you might not know it's there.
- 33:33Dayna Roselli: And you know, it requires foot traffic.
- 33:35Dayna Roselli: And it's kind of in that area where it's at the end of the forum shops.
- 33:39Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 33:39Dayna Roselli: In that circle.
- 33:41Dayna Roselli: So I think it's great that they have some specials like this to kind of bring people in.
- 33:45Dayna Roselli: And I think people should know about them.
- 33:46Sean McAllister: They absolutely should.
- 33:48Sean McAllister: So RPM, make sure to put that on your list.
- 33:53Sean McAllister: It is a destination restaurant over there at the forum shops.
- 33:56Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 33:56Dayna Roselli: And you can always text us in our show notes.
- 33:58Dayna Roselli: So if you go there and you get the martini with the three blue cheese olives, or if they try and give you two, say Dana Roselli said you get three.
- 34:06Dayna Roselli: I mean, I got three and I ordered, I'll admit I ordered two.
- 34:09Dayna Roselli: I had one with dinner too.
- 34:11Dayna Roselli: Both times it came with three.
- 34:12Dayna Roselli: So hopefully.
- 34:13Sean McAllister: So it's not just the Vegas Revealed special?
- 34:16Dayna Roselli: I don't think so.
- 34:16Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 34:17Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 34:18Sean McAllister: Hey, uh, another event that we wanted to let you know about is this rib cook-off that's happening down on the Link Promenade.
- 34:25Sean McAllister: Uh, that's situated there between the Link Hotel and Flamingo.
- 34:30Sean McAllister: You know, it's on your way down, you see the high roller over there, too.
- 34:34Sean McAllister: Uh, they're doing a big rib cook-off.
- 34:36Sean McAllister: It's open to the public, and public voting is a part of this too, which is kind of a fun, interactive thing.
- 34:44Dayna Roselli: Yeah, this is open to the public, and they're gonna have like live barbecue battles, music, uh, celebrities will be there.
- 34:51Dayna Roselli: So this could be really fun.
- 34:52Dayna Roselli: If you're in Las Vegas on Thursday, May 29th, it's taking place from 5 p.m.
- 34:58Dayna Roselli: to 8 p.m.
- 34:59Dayna Roselli: And I think this sounds great.
- 35:01Dayna Roselli: Like you said, the live voting makes it really fun.
- 35:03Sean McAllister: Well, and they have screens where they're gonna keep tallies of the live votes uh as they take place, and then the rib cook-off culminates with the awarding of the barbecue belt.
- 35:15Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 35:16Sean McAllister: They're doing a crowning ceremony for the winner.
- 35:20Sean McAllister: So make sure to feed your appetite, get your votes in, and help crown that winner.
- 35:26Dayna Roselli: I mean, because look at all the things they have.
- 35:28Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 35:29Dayna Roselli: Like not only that, it's so it's at Virgil's Real Barbecue, right there at the Link Promenade.
- 35:33Dayna Roselli: So the live rib cook-off is happening, and then the live voting, like you said, and like you said, the belt.
- 35:41Dayna Roselli: But then they're also having uh photo opportunities on the downstairs patio, gin and juice lowriders on display, whatever that is, live entertainment.
- 35:54Dayna Roselli: Uh, they're gonna have a country band, a DJ, dancers on stage, right over uh near the link fountain above it, and then activations like turf, uh games, a chill zone.
- 36:05Dayna Roselli: So this is really fun.
- 36:06Sean McAllister: Well, the gin and juice lowriders.
- 36:08Dayna Roselli: Okay, I know you were dying to tell me what it is.
- 36:10Dayna Roselli: What is it?
- 36:10Sean McAllister: That's a tie-in with uh Dr.
- 36:12Sean McAllister: Dre and Snoop's line of gin and juice seltzers.
- 36:16Dayna Roselli: Oh, okay.
- 36:18Sean McAllister: So their seltzers are gonna be cracked open.
- 36:21Sean McAllister: You have the lowriders out there.
- 36:23Dayna Roselli: And we have an event that night and we can't go to this, but man, this sounds like a lot of things.
- 36:27Sean McAllister: It sounds really fun.
- 36:28Dayna Roselli: It does.
- 36:29Sean McAllister: And by the way, that Link Promenade, uh, they have Misters out there when it gets warm, and it's a it's a fun spot.
- 36:37Sean McAllister: They have a lot down there.
- 36:39Sean McAllister: They have some really interesting shops.
- 36:41Sean McAllister: They have a hat shop.
- 36:43Sean McAllister: They'll, you know, customize a hat for you.
- 36:46Sean McAllister: There's uh suites.
- 36:48Sean McAllister: Brooklyn Bowl.
- 36:49Sean McAllister: Brooklyn Bowl is down there.
- 36:51Sean McAllister: Yeah, it's a really good combination of dining, retail, activities.
- 36:58Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 36:59Dayna Roselli: Really good.
- 36:59Dayna Roselli: But hey, by the way, just because we've talked about the link recently when we were talking about the Chippendales moving there.
- 37:05Dayna Roselli: And just I guess this is a tip.
- 37:07Dayna Roselli: Don't go to the link to see the Chippendales because they're not there anymore.
- 37:10Sean McAllister: No, they're moving.
- 37:10Dayna Roselli: But they are moving to Planet Hollywood, and I think this will be a great fit for them.
- 37:14Dayna Roselli: They said, you know, I think they needed a place kind of in between until they found their maybe their permanent spot because they moved, they were at the Rio for so long.
- 37:22Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 37:22Dayna Roselli: So uh they did the link, um, but they were sharing a theater with Matt Franco.
- 37:27Dayna Roselli: And I know there were some challenges there with uh, you know, getting one show done and having to break down for the other because they wanted to do meet and greets and photos, and then having two shows a night didn't work.
- 37:38Dayna Roselli: So I think now they have found a solution for that.
- 37:41Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 37:41Sean McAllister: And so they're they're taking over the Sin City Theater at Planet Hollywood, which is up on the mezzanine level, if you're familiar with it.
- 37:49Sean McAllister: It's kind of across from uh the Chris Angel Theater, up on the second floor there.
- 37:54Sean McAllister: Um, and they'll be able to just make that space their own.
- 37:58Sean McAllister: They'll be able to, you know, like over at the Rio, they had the flirt lounge.
- 38:02Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 38:03Sean McAllister: You know, where people would come and hang out before and after shows, and the guys would come out and mingle.
- 38:08Sean McAllister: And now they'll be able to do that too without the time constraints of having to, you know, flip shows around.
- 38:15Sean McAllister: Obviously, they'll still need to flip the shows around, but um sometimes sometimes they also do some flips.
- 38:21Sean McAllister: Sometimes they do flips.
- 38:23Sean McAllister: That is true.
- 38:24Dayna Roselli: Shirtless flips.
- 38:28Dayna Roselli: Listen, the Chippendale, you have to have a Chippendale show in Las Vegas.
- 38:32Dayna Roselli: You do.
- 38:32Dayna Roselli: So, you know, go see them, go support the show because they they were at the Rio for so long.
- 38:38Dayna Roselli: When you are in a groove like they were, I mean, you don't know any different.
- 38:43Dayna Roselli: So it's adjustments can be tough.
- 38:45Sean McAllister: That's right.
- 38:45Sean McAllister: So July 3rd is when they open over at the new Chippendale Theater inside Planet Hollywood.
- 38:51Dayna Roselli: Oh, good.
- 38:52Dayna Roselli: Well, then you can go on Fourth of July.
- 38:53Dayna Roselli: America.
- 38:54Sean McAllister: There we go.
- 38:55Dayna Roselli: Chippendale's.
- 38:56Sean McAllister: Nothing more American than Chippendale's and Apple Pie.
- 39:00Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 39:01Dayna Roselli: Hey, listen, big shout out to our sponsor.

- 39:48Sean McAllister: Yeah.

- 39:56Dayna Roselli: Hey, we also have some really good stuff coming up.
- 39:58Dayna Roselli: We just went to a winery, and a lot of people don't know Las Vegas has a winery.
- 40:01Dayna Roselli: There's actually only two.
- 40:02Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 40:03Dayna Roselli: We went to one of them.
- 40:03Dayna Roselli: We're going to tell you about that.
- 40:04Dayna Roselli: We went to a distillery here in Las Vegas where they're actually making the product on site.
- 40:12Dayna Roselli: We've got that coming up.
- 40:13Dayna Roselli: We've already done all that.
- 40:14Dayna Roselli: We're going to a restaurant opening tonight.
- 40:16Dayna Roselli: Um, and this restaurant is opening in the Southern Highlands area that's really starting to pick up and boom.
- 40:23Dayna Roselli: And this restaurant is by the Mortons very successful.
- 40:27Sean McAllister: Long history here in Las Vegas and in dining and hospitality as well.
- 40:31Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 40:32Dayna Roselli: So that American Music Awards, what else do we have?
- 40:35Dayna Roselli: Oh my god.
- 40:36Dayna Roselli: Oh, I'm hosting something at uh Opportunity Village, their variety show.
- 40:39Dayna Roselli: That'll be fun.
- 40:40Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 40:41Dayna Roselli: We'll talk about that next week.
- 40:42Dayna Roselli: Um, just all sorts of stuff.
- 40:44Dayna Roselli: So Vegas is busy and booming, and we're excited to be a part of it.
- 40:48Dayna Roselli: So happy 120th birthday.
- 40:50Dayna Roselli: We'll end it on that.
- 40:51Dayna Roselli: Come full circle.
- 40:52Sean McAllister: I need a birthday horn.
- 40:55Dayna Roselli: See you next week.
- 40:56Dayna Roselli: We'll talk to you next week.
