- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 3: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 4: Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 2: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest. Good morning.
- 0:10Speaker 2: It's time. Let's get this done. We are into a
- 0:13Speaker 2: Friday broadcast.
- 0:14Speaker 5: Friday.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Number one in Music Station. Today, there's something to get behind.
- 0:18Speaker 2: Today is National Quesadilla Day.
- 0:23Speaker 5: I haven't had a quesadilla in a really long time.
- 0:25Speaker 5: I think it's time.
- 0:27Speaker 2: You know, that reminds me. Oprah's coming up later. Every
- 0:30Speaker 2: day from school when I was younger, I used to
- 0:35Speaker 2: go home and make nachos. Nachos. Not quesadillas, but nachos
- 0:39Speaker 2: to watch her every single day. On a sheet pan.
- 0:42Speaker 2: On a cookie sheet pan.
- 0:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 0:44Speaker 2: Have I told that story?
- 0:44Speaker 5: You told that story.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Oh, then I won't tell her. I won't regale her
- 0:47Speaker 2: with that story. Oh, Gail. Cute. Anyway, because that's her
- 0:53Speaker 2: best friend, right? Have you seen Gail's camel boots?
- 0:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 0:56Speaker 5: That's a fashion statement.
- 0:59Speaker 7: I haven't seen Gail's camel boots.
- 1:01Speaker 2: They're cute.
- 1:02Speaker 5: They were wearing them. Matching.
- 1:05Speaker 2: It's like tan boots.
- 1:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:06Speaker 2: I don't wear a lot of tan boots myself.
- 1:09Speaker 5: Camel tan.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Camel color tan.
- 1:11Speaker 7: I think you look better in emerald colors.
- 1:14Speaker 2: For example?
- 1:15Speaker 7: Like the blues and the burgundies and things like that
- 1:19Speaker 7: versus like the tans and the.
- 1:21Speaker 5: You mean like jewel tone?
- 1:22Speaker 7: Jewel tone.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 1:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:23Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't know there's such a thing called dual tone.
- 1:26Speaker 7: You okay over there?
- 1:27Speaker 2: Well, I didn't charge my iPad last night, so I'm
- 1:29Speaker 2: trying to get the charger without tangling up my own cord.
- 1:31Speaker 2: You got headphone cords and microphone cords.
- 1:34Speaker 1: I know, isn't this exciting?
- 1:35Speaker 2: I just realized it said low battery. I blame Tubbs,
- 1:38Speaker 2: but he didn't come charge it last night.
- 1:39Speaker 7: Have you ever done a color analysis?
- 1:41Speaker 2: A color analysis? Can't say that I have.
- 1:44Speaker 7: I'd be interested to see yours.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Could you define it for me?
- 1:47Speaker 7: It's like where somebody comes and they put all these
- 1:49Speaker 7: different colored fabrics around you and they tell you kind
- 1:52Speaker 7: of like what tones you should wear and shouldn't wear.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Who is this person?
- 1:56Speaker 5: A specialist. There's like an actual business. You can go
- 1:59Speaker 5: and pay for the service.
- 2:00Speaker 2: A human tones person?
- 2:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:02Speaker 5: It's like a service.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Like a decorator?
- 2:05Speaker 1: Kind of.
- 2:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 5: But that's like what they specialize in. Put a bunch
- 2:08Speaker 5: of curtains next to me and say, this curtain looks
- 2:09Speaker 5: good on you?
- 2:10Speaker 8: And they're the ones that tell you, this looks great.
- 2:12Speaker 8: This shade is better with your skin tone, with your eyes,
- 2:15Speaker 8: with your hair color, et cetera, et cetera.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Well, I'll just use you guys for that.
- 2:19Speaker 6: Okay. Kiss.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Sissany's mom group has given her major FOMO. Sissany, let's
- 2:24Speaker 2: break it down right now. This is the hour we
- 2:25Speaker 2: need to address personal problems.
- 2:27Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 2: What's the issue?
- 2:28Speaker 8: Well, actually, I would like to know how you deal
- 2:31Speaker 8: with FOMO. Do you ever feel it because your schedule
- 2:33Speaker 8: is always so busy and you're running around in like
- 2:36Speaker 8: all directions.
- 2:37Speaker 5: Do you ever feel like you miss out on stuff too?
- 2:39Speaker 2: Absolutely. Case in point, I'm going to give you a
- 2:43Speaker 2: photo example from last night.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Where is it? Let's see.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Is that it? Is that my knee? No, that's my feet.
- 2:53Speaker 5: Why are you showing me pictures of your feet?
- 2:55Speaker 2: That was my feet in a tub.
- 2:57Speaker 5: Thank you for that.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 2:59Speaker 5: What a treat.
- 3:00Speaker 2: That was my Epsom salt bath. I don't know why
- 3:02Speaker 2: I took a picture of it.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Right?
- 3:04Speaker 2: Uh, there's a picture here. So I called my family
- 3:06Speaker 2: last night, my niece and my mom and my sister
- 3:08Speaker 2: and my brother-in-law, we're all having pizza night.
- 3:10Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:10Speaker 2: See FOMO. I can't get there. They were in Georgia
- 3:14Speaker 2: and I had actually said to them, that's funny. I said,
- 3:17Speaker 2: I have FOMO. You guys are having a good time
- 3:19Speaker 2: having pizza night.
- 3:20Speaker 5: What's your FOMO?
- 3:21Speaker 8: Mine is like I'm in like a group chat with
- 3:22Speaker 8: like so many moms and there's always an activity. There's always, hey,
- 3:26Speaker 8: let's go and get wine or hey, let's go line dancing.
- 3:29Speaker 8: I don't even want to go line dancing, but I
- 3:30Speaker 8: would want to go because they're all going. And so
- 3:33Speaker 8: and I have to say no the majority of the
- 3:35Speaker 8: time because I have work early in the morning or
- 3:38Speaker 8: I have events with the kids, et cetera.
- 3:40Speaker 5: So I don't know. I just felt like how why
- 3:42Speaker 5: do I feel this? Why can't I just be like,
- 3:43Speaker 5: it's not a big deal?
- 3:45Speaker 2: So you are invited. It's not about being invited.
- 3:47Speaker 5: No, it's not about not being invited. It's about not
- 3:49Speaker 5: being able to go.
- 3:50Speaker 2: To me, my FOMO is more about being invited sometimes.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Me too.
- 3:53Speaker 7: I'm the same way.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Right?
- 3:54Speaker 2: I get the FOMO of like, if I'm cut out,
- 3:57Speaker 2: then I have more FOMO than if I'm invited.
- 4:01Speaker 5: Yeah, that's not a good feeling. Does that happen often?
- 4:05Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I want to get invited to my
- 4:06Speaker 2: ex's weddings.
- 4:08Speaker 5: That's weird, Ryan.
- 4:09Speaker 2: No, it's not weird. It shows support and love.
- 4:11Speaker 5: To be invited to an ex's wedding?
- 4:15Speaker 2: I won't go, but if I didn't get the invitation,
- 4:18Speaker 2: I'd have FOMO. Have I showed you the picture of
- 4:20Speaker 2: my Epsom salt bath?
- 4:22Speaker 5: Yeah, why? Who did you send that picture to when
- 4:24Speaker 5: you were in the bath?
- 4:26Speaker 2: I didn't send it to anybody yet because I need
- 4:27Speaker 2: to make sure.
- 4:28Speaker 7: Good one, Sissy.
- 4:29Speaker 2: No, the truth is I took it, but I need
- 4:31Speaker 2: to make sure you can't see anything you're not supposed
- 4:33Speaker 2: to see, so I'm checking it.
- 4:34Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Because when you take a picture in the tub, Yeah, but.
- 4:38Speaker 7: To Cisney's point, why did you take that photo?
- 4:40Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 4:41Speaker 2: It's going to go to somebody's inbox.
- 4:42Speaker 7: Yeah, whose?
- 4:43Speaker 2: Inbox.
- 4:44Speaker 7: Inbox. No.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Hey, I emailed you a picture.
- 4:50Speaker 3: No.
- 4:51Speaker 2: I don't know yet.
- 4:52Speaker 5: Check your inbox.
- 4:54Speaker 2: It's going to go to their signal.
- 4:58Speaker 7: It's not a risque photo so it's really.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Not have you seen that it's just.
- 5:03Speaker 8: Your it's literally your toes it's your toes and like
- 5:05Speaker 8: your tray you have one of those trays that go
- 5:07Speaker 8: across your tub like i do.
- 5:08Speaker 7: No that is not a risque photo at all it's
- 5:11Speaker 7: really not this angle it is it's.
- 5:12Speaker 5: Not but you know what you tried.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Good thing you didn't send it yeah i look like
- 5:19Speaker 2: i have hot dogs right there hot dog legs hot
- 5:22Speaker 2: dog legs Whoever's going to get it. Hot dog legs
- 5:25Speaker 2: coming your way.
- 5:25Speaker 7: Who is going to get it, by the way?
- 5:27Speaker 2: I don't know yet. That's what I just said.
- 5:28Speaker 7: Yes, you do.
- 5:29Speaker 2: It depends.
- 5:30Speaker 1: What?
- 5:31Speaker 5: You got so many to choose from?
- 5:32Speaker 3: No, it depends.
- 5:35Speaker 2: I need to decide who will receive that well.
- 5:38Speaker 3: We'll see.
- 5:38Speaker 5: You're going to spin the wheel and pick somebody?
- 5:44Speaker 2: No, I'm going to decide who's going to receive it.
- 5:47Speaker 8: I understand what you're saying. That makes it sound like
- 5:50Speaker 8: it's multiple options.
- 5:51Speaker 2: No, I'm trying to be intentional. I'm not spinning the wheel.
- 5:57Speaker 2: That's weeknights at 730. All right. Spin the wheel. Come
- 6:02Speaker 2: in next to four-pack to Disneyland. I might send it
- 6:04Speaker 2: to Tanaz. I don't know. Yeah, okay. First time checking
- 6:08Speaker 2: in with Ronnie this morning on Kiss FM. He's going
- 6:10Speaker 2: to be out with free gas all morning today at
- 6:13Speaker 2: Santa Fe Springs is the destination of which he has
- 6:16Speaker 2: arrived in Santa Fe Springs. And he has told us
- 6:20Speaker 2: about his following, you know, people coming up to him
- 6:21Speaker 2: in the wild. saying, hey, Ronnie, I know you from
- 6:24Speaker 2: Free Gas in Los Angeles. Matter of fact, you could
- 6:27Speaker 2: barely move at the iHeart Festival. The fandom was recognizing you. Also,
- 6:31Speaker 2: I think it is that you wear the tank top
- 6:32Speaker 2: with mesh that people know it's you, too. It might
- 6:34Speaker 2: be one of the also cues.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Yes, that tank top was so cute. I hope you
- 6:40Speaker 1: like that. I wish I would have brought you one, too,
- 6:42Speaker 1: so you could have wore it.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Well, I said, did you bring me one? I was
- 6:44Speaker 2: going to do a side-by-side with you, and you said
- 6:46Speaker 2: these words. No, I didn't bring you one, but you
- 6:48Speaker 2: can wear mine.
- 6:50Speaker 7: Which is very generous, honestly.
- 6:51Speaker 1: That was like being generous. Like we could share.
- 6:54Speaker 2: Then you wouldn't have one to do it. The whole
- 6:56Speaker 2: point is to show a side-by-side picture of us in
- 6:58Speaker 2: the same mesh tank top and put it up on
- 7:00Speaker 2: your social platforms.
- 7:03Speaker 1: I know we really do have to do that because
- 7:04Speaker 1: I feel like people will really enjoy you in like
- 7:07Speaker 1: a crop top or a mesh shirt, something along those lines.
- 7:11Speaker 2: You're hearing these words. I'm down. I'm down.
- 7:15Speaker 6: Yay.
- 7:16Speaker 4: All right.
- 7:17Speaker 2: Now, while we work on that, Michaela, feel free. If
- 7:20Speaker 2: you want that to be part of your testimonial on
- 7:22Speaker 2: your hinge. Okay. Not a problem. Side-by-side will help out too.
- 7:26Speaker 2: Not only my voice, but the side-by-side of me and
- 7:28Speaker 2: Ronnie will help out endorsing you on the end. All right,
- 7:30Speaker 2: Ronnie Santa Fe Springs. You find somebody for free gas.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Yes. I'm literally walking up to her right now. Cause
- 7:36Speaker 1: she was like in her car. Hi, my name is Ronnie.
- 7:39Speaker 1: I'm with Kiss FM. You see our cars over here.
- 7:41Speaker 1: I have Ryan Cephas the phone and he wants to
- 7:43Speaker 1: buy your gas this morning. You want free gas? Here
- 7:45Speaker 1: she is.
- 7:47Speaker 7: Hello.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Hi, what's your name?
- 7:50Speaker 1: Hi, my name is Gabby.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Gabby, it is Ryan Seacrest on Kiss FM this morning.
- 7:54Speaker 2: How are you doing?
- 7:56Speaker 3: Good. How about yourself?
- 7:58Speaker 7: Good.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Thank you for checking. We are basically just going to
- 8:01Speaker 2: fill up. That guy right there, Ronnie, is going to
- 8:02Speaker 2: fill up your tank with free gas. That's it. Nothing
- 8:04Speaker 2: to do. No contest. You just get it.
- 8:07Speaker 1: He did surprise me, which is the greatest thing this morning.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Way to start my day.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm running late to work, but this is great news.
- 8:14Speaker 6: Good.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Well, we'll let you get off to work. Tell Ronnie
- 8:16Speaker 2: to pump fast, and thank you very much for listening
- 8:18Speaker 2: to Kiss FM. You have a good day at work.
- 8:20Speaker 1: No, thank you so much.
- 8:21Speaker 3: You guys have a great one.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Okay, you too.
- 8:22Speaker 3: Thank you. Ronnie? Hello?
- 8:26Speaker 1: Hey, hurry.
- 8:27Speaker 2: She's late.
- 8:28Speaker 4: Oh, I know.
- 8:28Speaker 1: She is running late. Okay, so we'll stop talking. Bye,
- 8:30Speaker 1: you guys.
- 8:30Speaker 3: Bye.
- 8:31Speaker 4: Yes.
- 8:32Speaker 2: Next. Keep these red flags in mind. Next time you
- 8:35Speaker 2: go to a bar, say the bartenders here in LA.
- 8:38Speaker 2: It's Kiss FM. All right, check it out. If you're
- 8:40Speaker 2: rolling out this weekend to one of the bars, local
- 8:41Speaker 2: bartenders have said, here are red flags at our bar.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Look out for these. Bartenders say if you see these,
- 8:47Speaker 2: find another bar. One, it's dirty but not crowded. Okay, well,
- 8:53Speaker 2: it makes sense. Number two, bartenders here say if they
- 8:56Speaker 2: serve cocktails in large pre-made jugs, dirty.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Ew.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Don't do it. Not good for you. And finally, if
- 9:03Speaker 2: their employees are drunk. I'm not so sure these are
- 9:05Speaker 2: so groundbreaking. It makes sense.
- 9:08Speaker 7: I would think if their employees are drunk, it's like fun.
- 9:10Speaker 2: It's a good bar.
- 9:11Speaker 7: Yeah, good vibes.
- 9:12Speaker 2: I like the way you reframed that. Lots of bars
- 9:15Speaker 2: out there. Today's quote, don't get even with those who
- 9:19Speaker 2: hurt you. Get even with those who helped you.
- 9:24Speaker 7: Ah, that's so true.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Aha moment. Aha moment. Oprah's going to talk about those later.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Kiss.
- 9:32Speaker 2: All right, check it out. After 7 o'clock, Oprah Winfrey
- 9:35Speaker 2: is on with us. She's taking over Sphere in Las Vegas.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I'm so excited to talk about it. And next, we've
- 9:40Speaker 2: got the lineup announcement for the 2026 Jingle Ball presented
- 9:44Speaker 2: by Capital One for Sisney. Then the announcement. Headline. Kiss
- 9:48Speaker 2: FM headlines with Sisney.
- 9:50Speaker 8: Well, the opening of the People Mover at LAX was
- 9:53Speaker 8: delayed again after another setback and is now expected to
- 9:57Speaker 8: open in January. Thunderstorms caused a temporary ground stop at
- 10:01Speaker 8: LAX yesterday and also brought lightning, hail and mud flows
- 10:05Speaker 8: to the San Bernardino County mountains. Evacuations have been lifted
- 10:09Speaker 8: in La Verne after crews safely removed lithium ion batteries
- 10:13Speaker 8: damaged in a fire at a water treatment facility. And
- 10:17Speaker 8: two sea turtles have laid their eggs on Orange County
- 10:19Speaker 8: beaches for the first time ever. And now officials are
- 10:23Speaker 8: trying to protect the nests from big waves, predators, and people.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Well, it's KISS.
- 10:29Speaker 8: Did you not get chills? I even knew the lineup
- 10:31Speaker 8: and I still got chills.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Because when you hear it in that guy's voice say,
- 10:35Speaker 2: One Republic, Freya Scott. No, I got.
- 10:39Speaker 7: Chills when they played What Dreams Are Made Of by
- 10:41Speaker 7: Hilary Duff.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Hilary Duff, Olivia. They are weed, honey. We just played that.
- 10:46Speaker 2: We are the they.
- 10:47Speaker 7: I wanted to see Hillary Duff.
- 10:49Speaker 2: Hey, guys, if you missed it, they just announced it
- 10:51Speaker 2: on Kiss. They made the announcement.
- 10:53Speaker 7: I wanted to see Hillary Duff so bad on this tour,
- 10:56Speaker 7: and I didn't get to.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I just heard them say Hillary's going to be there
- 10:59Speaker 2: along with Ray, OneRepublic, Sienna Spiro, Freya Sky, Bella Kay,
- 11:02Speaker 2: Stella Lefty, The Beaches, and Olivia Rodrigo. Did you hear that?
- 11:05Speaker 5: Oh, my goodness.
- 11:06Speaker 8: Let the rain fall down and.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Wake my dreams that it washed away. These tickets are
- 11:14Speaker 2: going to go fast. Now, I heard them also say, Tanya,
- 11:17Speaker 2: tickets go on sale this Tuesday, which is next Tuesday, right?
- 11:21Speaker 2: Because they said this Tuesday, but they mean next Tuesday.
- 11:24Speaker 5: Well, you know, it's Friday, so it would be this Tuesday.
- 11:27Speaker 6: Yeah. Right.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Well, they said this Tuesday, but that's next Tuesday.
- 11:32Speaker 7: No, that checks out. When you say this Tuesday and
- 11:34Speaker 7: it's Friday, that means this coming Tuesday.
- 11:37Speaker 2: But it is the next Tuesday on the calendar, so
- 11:39Speaker 2: I think they both check out.
- 11:40Speaker 5: Oh, my gosh.
- 11:41Speaker 7: No, next Tuesday would be the Tuesday after this Thursday.
- 11:43Speaker 2: No, that's a week Tuesday.
- 11:46Speaker 5: It doesn't matter because Hillary is going to be a
- 11:47Speaker 5: jiggle ball.
- 11:49Speaker 2: So this Tuesday, the next Tuesday on your calendar, tickets
- 11:53Speaker 2: go on sale at 10 a.m. to Capital One cardholders.
- 11:55Speaker 2: They're going to go fast. I feel this is a
- 11:56Speaker 2: good one.
- 11:57Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 11:58Speaker 2: All right. And then tickets for everybody else on sale
- 12:00Speaker 2: next Friday. Next Friday.
- 12:03Speaker 5: So obviously not today. Next Friday.
- 12:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 12:05Speaker 9: Noon.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Oh, because if you said this Friday, that would be today. Well,
- 12:08Speaker 2: that makes sense. The other one doesn't.
- 12:11Speaker 6: What?
- 12:12Speaker 2: Jingle Ball.
- 12:13Speaker 7: We will be there.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Hosting Jingle Ball. Coming up next, Paying Your Bills. Les
- 12:17Speaker 2: Seacrest with you, Sissany Tanya on air. And joining us now,
- 12:22Speaker 2: you will recognize the voice in one moment and the tone.
- 12:25Speaker 2: It is Oprah Winfrey. Hello, Oprah.
- 12:28Speaker 6: Hello, Ryan.
- 12:30Speaker 3: Hello.
- 12:31Speaker 2: It's so great to have you on.
- 12:32Speaker 3: So great to be on with you.
- 12:34Speaker 2: Well, do you know that, I mean, you probably know this,
- 12:37Speaker 2: but you know your name is also a verb, not
- 12:40Speaker 2: just a proper noun.
- 12:41Speaker 3: No, how is it a verb?
- 12:43Speaker 2: When people give me advice in life, they say, I'm
- 12:47Speaker 2: going to Oprah you right now.
- 12:48Speaker 3: Oh, I did not know that. Yeah.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I think it's pretty cool when you get to verb
- 12:55Speaker 2: status from a proper name.
- 12:57Speaker 3: Oh, I do too, considering how it all started. I mean, considering.
- 13:01Speaker 6: You know, Oprah wasn't even my name. It was I
- 13:04Speaker 6: was born or a pop on my birth certificate. And
- 13:07Speaker 6: then nobody knew how to spell it. The P got
- 13:09Speaker 6: put before the R. And then I started being called Oprah.
- 13:12Speaker 6: So there you go.
- 13:13Speaker 2: And that's how you got to that. That is so
- 13:16Speaker 2: interesting to hear. You know, I was thinking about. Just
- 13:19Speaker 2: as someone that likes to work, and I know you
- 13:22Speaker 2: have spent a lot of your life working very hard,
- 13:24Speaker 2: do you feel like when you were really in it
- 13:28Speaker 2: and putting in hour after hour and show after show
- 13:31Speaker 2: and doing all the extras that come along with it,
- 13:33Speaker 2: did you miss out on anything?
- 13:35Speaker 3: I don't think so. Because, you know, when I ended
- 13:38Speaker 3: that show, Ryan, one of the things I said was
- 13:40Speaker 3: this show is.
- 13:42Speaker 6: And you, the audience, have been the great love of
- 13:44Speaker 6: my life. And I was thinking about that other day.
- 13:47Speaker 6: Would I still say that that has been the great
- 13:49Speaker 6: love of my life? No question about it. And I
- 13:52Speaker 6: don't think I missed one thing because I was exactly
- 13:55Speaker 6: where I wanted to be doing exactly what I wanted
- 13:57Speaker 6: to do.
- 13:58Speaker 3: So I think, you know, for.
- 13:59Speaker 6: A lot of people and also many people who work
- 14:02Speaker 6: with me and worked on that show felt the same way.
- 14:05Speaker 6: They've gone on to other shows, done other things, but
- 14:08Speaker 6: will never be another moment in time like that.
- 14:11Speaker 2: Did you always know what you wanted in every chapter?
- 14:14Speaker 3: No. <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> <HAL> I.
- 14:18Speaker 6: Came to Chicago, Ryan, just happy to get a job.
- 14:22Speaker 3: Replacing the host on AM Chicago. I remember this. And
- 14:25Speaker 3: so I just was just happy to have that job.
- 14:28Speaker 3: And oh, my God, they're going to.
- 14:30Speaker 6: Pay me quite as much as I was making in Baltimore.
- 14:33Speaker 6: I thought, wow, now I can get– I can get–
- 14:38Speaker 6: A decorator. Then I realized I couldn't afford a decorator.
- 14:42Speaker 6: So I went to Marshall Fields and bought all.
- 14:45Speaker 3: The things off the floor. I thought, I mean, listen,
- 14:47Speaker 3: are you kidding?
- 14:48Speaker 6: I didn't have any idea until the show started to
- 14:52Speaker 6: take off. We were beating Donahue in Chicago and I
- 14:55Speaker 6: started to think.
- 14:58Speaker 3: I had my own aha moment, okay?
- 15:01Speaker 2: Aha!
- 15:02Speaker 6: When they asked me to go national, I felt that
- 15:06Speaker 6: it could work because it had worked in Chicago. But
- 15:09Speaker 6: I didn't come there with any dreams of being, you know,
- 15:12Speaker 6: a national host. I was just, I was a co-host
- 15:15Speaker 6: in Baltimore and just happy to be having a job
- 15:18Speaker 6: that I could pay the gas bill and the electric
- 15:22Speaker 6: bill and my rent all at the same time. Mm-hmm.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Well, it did work out, Oprah. It did work out.
- 15:28Speaker 1: It worked out for me.
- 15:29Speaker 3: It worked out for me.
- 15:30Speaker 2: I remember the first time I met you, you came
- 15:34Speaker 2: to the set of American Idol. This was a long
- 15:37Speaker 2: time ago. This was in the early days.
- 15:39Speaker 3: That's like over 20-something years ago.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Now, right? Yeah, that was. It was in the early
- 15:43Speaker 2: days when the show was just taking off.
- 15:45Speaker 3: It was either the first or second season. I do
- 15:47Speaker 3: remember that.
- 15:48Speaker 2: That's right. And I remember thinking to myself in watching you,
- 15:53Speaker 2: that obviously you have a gift of being curious and
- 15:56Speaker 2: putting words together. But what I noticed was how well
- 15:59Speaker 2: you listened. And I always thought to myself, wow, to
- 16:03Speaker 2: be good or great at that role or any role
- 16:07Speaker 2: in this world, even as a person, human being and
- 16:09Speaker 2: a partner or a friend, listening is more important than talking.
- 16:14Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what I learned on the show, that paying
- 16:16Speaker 6: attention to what people were saying.
- 16:18Speaker 3: And, you know, I often.
- 16:20Speaker 6: Say this, that the greatest lesson, I learned from that
- 16:24Speaker 6: show was that everybody wants to be heard. That's what
- 16:28Speaker 6: that show taught me, is that every single person you
- 16:31Speaker 6: are going to encounter today, everybody listening to us on KISS,
- 16:35Speaker 6: everybody you're going to encounter today, what they want to.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Know is, do you see me and.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Do you hear me?
- 16:41Speaker 6: And does what I say mean anything? Everybody's looking for that.
- 16:45Speaker 6: And so that was shown to me over and over
- 16:47Speaker 6: and over and over again.
- 16:47Speaker 3: On that show.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Oprah Winfrey is here. We're going to talk about the
- 16:51Speaker 2: AHA experience live at Sphere Las Vegas when we come back.
- 16:55Speaker 2: 102.7 KISS FM, iHeartRadio nationwide. Incredible lineup for Jingle Ball.
- 17:00Speaker 2: Very excited. And also, Oprah Winfrey is with us in
- 17:04Speaker 2: the mix this morning. She's doing something very interesting. This
- 17:07Speaker 2: sounds pretty amazing, Oprah, at Sphere in Las Vegas. I
- 17:11Speaker 2: haven't been inside myself yet. We were there, and I've
- 17:15Speaker 2: seen the outside of it. But Oprah's bringing A-ha, those
- 17:18Speaker 2: moments that she's known for, the A-ha live at Sphere
- 17:21Speaker 2: in Las Vegas show. Tell us about it, Ms.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Winfrey.
- 17:25Speaker 6: Well, I would have to say that if you haven't
- 17:27Speaker 6: been to Sphere, this is the time to come and
- 17:31Speaker 6: experience it. I was there for the U2 opening concert.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Oh, nice.
- 17:36Speaker 3: On a girls' trip with Gail and Maria.
- 17:39Speaker 6: And Ava, we had a great night. And at the
- 17:42Speaker 6: end of the concert, I walked over to the edge
- 17:44Speaker 6: of where we were seated. I looked up and I went,
- 17:47Speaker 6: what just happened here? Were we outside?
- 17:50Speaker 3: No.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Was the sun coming through?
- 17:54Speaker 3: Was that the sea I was smelling? What just happened here?
- 17:59Speaker 3: And I had a major aha moment of my own.
- 18:03Speaker 6: I just thought I had this feeling come over me,
- 18:05Speaker 6: like what an incredible.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Instrument, what a credible tool this space is.
- 18:12Speaker 6: You could take people to the edge of the universe,
- 18:15Speaker 6: out in space, and introduce them to themselves in a
- 18:20Speaker 6: way that in relation to the entire universe that they've
- 18:24Speaker 6: never felt before because you have the visuals, you have
- 18:27Speaker 6: the sound. There are 160,000 speakers at the sphere. It's unbelievable.
- 18:35Speaker 3: 160,000 speakers.
- 18:36Speaker 6: You can be in your seat listening to one song,
- 18:39Speaker 6: hearing something, and five seats down, somebody is.
- 18:42Speaker 3: Hearing it in another language. It has the capabilities like
- 18:45Speaker 3: no other space in the world.
- 18:48Speaker 6: And so I started to think about What could you
- 18:51Speaker 6: do there that would immerse people in an experience that
- 18:55Speaker 6: allowed them to feel the heart of themselves, but also
- 18:59Speaker 6: the hearts of everybody else around them through music, through performance,
- 19:04Speaker 6: through singing, through.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Visuals, through light.
- 19:08Speaker 3: And that's what we came up with.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Aha.
- 19:11Speaker 6: So I have one of the world's greatest composers here.
- 19:14Speaker 6: Max Richter, who was nominated for an Oscar for Hamnet
- 19:17Speaker 6: last year, he's scoring every moment of this. From the
- 19:21Speaker 6: moment you step into the sphere, you will start to
- 19:24Speaker 6: hear the sounds of Max Richter and John Hopkins. Jacob
- 19:28Speaker 6: Collier is going to take the audience into its own performance.
- 19:32Speaker 6: And so the idea of Being able to go out
- 19:36Speaker 6: into the edge of space, when I told Jim Dolan,
- 19:38Speaker 6: who built the sphere, that I wanted to do that
- 19:40Speaker 6: with people, Jim said, have I got the footage for you?
- 19:43Speaker 6: We've got live, live.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Visuals from the Hubble spacecraft.
- 19:49Speaker 2: You should.
- 19:50Speaker 6: Come see it and see it, Oprah. So I went
- 19:52Speaker 6: to see it. I laid back in my seat and
- 19:55Speaker 6: I cried. The experience of going out to the edge
- 19:58Speaker 6: of the universe through the dome of the sphere, through
- 20:01Speaker 6: the windows of the sphere, the most incredible.
- 20:04Speaker 3: Feeling and experience, one of the most I've ever had.
- 20:07Speaker 3: So I wanted other.
- 20:08Speaker 6: People to also feel that, to know that, and to
- 20:11Speaker 6: have their own sense of awe and wonder. So we're
- 20:14Speaker 6: filming around the world.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Nature, beauty. Yes, yes, yes.
- 20:20Speaker 6: I think people think that it's just me.
- 20:24Speaker 3: It's not me.
- 20:25Speaker 6: I will talk, but it's not just about me talking.
- 20:28Speaker 6: It's about creating an entire experience that brings people into
- 20:32Speaker 6: their own sense of awe and wonder.
- 20:34Speaker 3: And so my thing is, if you've never been, my.
- 20:37Speaker 2: Goal is to blow it out.
- 20:40Speaker 6: Everything that Sphere is capable of doing will be done
- 20:43Speaker 6: April 2nd through 4th.
- 20:45Speaker 2: There's no limitation of what you might be able to
- 20:48Speaker 2: go explore, right? I'm sure you had a vast canvas
- 20:52Speaker 2: of things that you narrowed it down to, but could
- 20:54Speaker 2: start with, right?
- 20:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 20:55Speaker 3: Absolutely. Absolutely.
- 20:57Speaker 6: And so it's the most one of the most I
- 20:59Speaker 6: have to say I've had this remarkable life and career.
- 21:03Speaker 6: But this is just the most exciting thing I ever
- 21:06Speaker 6: remember doing. I mean, I've had some exciting moments. Giving
- 21:08Speaker 6: away the cars was so fun. Taking an entire audience
- 21:12Speaker 6: to Australia was really fun. But being able to take
- 21:15Speaker 6: people who've never experienced it. the sphere, and people who
- 21:20Speaker 6: also are seeking for themselves a higher way of being
- 21:23Speaker 6: in the world, a higher way of expressing, igniting the light.
- 21:26Speaker 6: You know, we're all born with the light inside of us.
- 21:28Speaker 3: And it sometimes goes dim because of life. you know,
- 21:34Speaker 3: experiences that take you down.
- 21:36Speaker 6: So this is to remind people of really who we
- 21:39Speaker 6: are and who we are within ourselves, but who we
- 21:42Speaker 6: are together and to do it in a way that
- 21:44Speaker 6: is fun and joyful and creating aha moments.
- 21:48Speaker 2: I love it. And you shed light on it today
- 21:51Speaker 2: to understand exactly what it is and why it will
- 21:54Speaker 2: be such an amazing experience that It's called Oprah Winfrey's
- 21:58Speaker 2: AHA Live at Sphere Las Vegas starting April 2nd. As
- 22:00Speaker 2: she said, tickets are on sale starting at 10 o'clock
- 22:02Speaker 2: this morning. AHAlive.com. Oprah Winfrey, what you have done, your
- 22:09Speaker 2: magic power, you know this, is the way you make people.
- 22:12Speaker 2: It's not what you say necessarily. It's the way you
- 22:15Speaker 2: make us feel. And thank you for those feelings for
- 22:19Speaker 2: so many years. And continue.
- 22:21Speaker 3: Thank you, Ryan. Thank you so much. Thank you so much.
- 22:24Speaker 3: See you at Sphere.
- 22:25Speaker 2: See you at Sphere. I spit when I say it sometimes.
- 22:28Speaker 2: It's so complicated.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Sphere.
- 22:29Speaker 2: I'll see you there.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:31Speaker 3: We don't call it Sphere.
- 22:32Speaker 2: It's just Sphere. See you at Sphere. I have to
- 22:34Speaker 2: lose the article.
- 22:35Speaker 3: For multiple aha moments. For multiple aha moments.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Thank you. Bring your friends.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Bring your friends. It's a girl's trip kind of thing
- 22:42Speaker 3: and a boy's trip.
- 22:44Speaker 2: Well, they always invite me on the girls' trip. I
- 22:46Speaker 2: can go on the girls' trip, Sisney and Tanya.
- 22:48Speaker 3: I'm just saying, you know, do boys do boys' trips?
- 22:51Speaker 3: Do you do boys' trips?
- 22:52Speaker 2: I don't really like to hang out with a bunch
- 22:54Speaker 2: of dudes.
- 22:55Speaker 6: No.
- 22:56Speaker 5: He prefers the girls' trip.
- 22:58Speaker 2: I prefer a sound bath.
- 22:59Speaker 3: All right. Well, okay.
- 23:00Speaker 6: So the bottom line is come with your friends, bring
- 23:03Speaker 6: your family. It's an experience you're going to want to share.
- 23:05Speaker 6: You don't want to be there going, God, I wish
- 23:07Speaker 6: I had brought so-and-so because it's the kind of thing
- 23:10Speaker 6: you're going to want to share.
- 23:11Speaker 2: It's a shared experience.
- 23:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Got it. All right. Thanks. Bye-bye.
- 23:17Speaker 2: Bye. I won't talk to Oprah Winfrey soon, but I
- 23:20Speaker 2: said it. Never know.
- 23:21Speaker 3: It's like, what?
- 23:22Speaker 2: You want to put it out there?
- 23:24Speaker 5: I didn't realize it wasn't the sphere.
- 23:26Speaker 6: No, it's sphere.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I know that because every time I say it, like
- 23:30Speaker 2: we have these little notes that say the title of
- 23:33Speaker 2: factory points at sphere. And I keep saying, I forgot
- 23:37Speaker 2: the the.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:38Speaker 2: I'm corrected to say there is no the. It's just sphere. Yeah, interesting.
- 23:43Speaker 2: It's just Oprah. It's just sphere.
- 23:47Speaker 1: Kiss. On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 23:52Speaker 2: If you missed Oprah, she didn't know she was a verb.
- 23:57Speaker 6: I know.
- 23:57Speaker 5: I found that surprising, actually.
- 23:59Speaker 2: Oprah is a verb. When anybody gives you guidance or
- 24:02Speaker 2: life lessons or skills, like you guys Oprah me every day.
- 24:06Speaker 5: Oh, that is really nice for me to say.
- 24:08Speaker 2: That's a verb. Proper name.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Verb.
- 24:11Speaker 2: All right, let's get into it. So if you and
- 24:15Speaker 2: your partner are not eating regularly, similarly, the same things...
- 24:23Speaker 2: and you're really deviating, this could be a sign for
- 24:26Speaker 2: a disaster in your relationship. Give us a little bit
- 24:29Speaker 2: of texture here.
- 24:30Speaker 8: So they're calling this term food divorce. And it's for
- 24:35Speaker 8: couples who cook, order, and even eat completely separate meals,
- 24:38Speaker 8: like you were saying, because they have different diets.
- 24:40Speaker 5: Maybe it's food restrictions. Maybe it's just crazy schedules to
- 24:43Speaker 5: begin with.
- 24:44Speaker 8: But while it seems convenient, experts are saying that it
- 24:48Speaker 8: could accidentally end up leaving more room for separation. Just
- 24:53Speaker 8: like you'll, you almost become roommates. And that's kind of
- 24:57Speaker 8: not the path that you want to go when you're
- 24:59Speaker 8: like with somebody dating them, married to them, et cetera.
- 25:03Speaker 2: So I really cherish that. When I'm in a relationship,
- 25:09Speaker 2: the moment that we get finished with our days or
- 25:12Speaker 2: have a little window. I know if you've got families
- 25:14Speaker 2: and stuff, it's difficult. But to have that window at
- 25:16Speaker 2: the end of the day to just sit down and
- 25:19Speaker 2: not even talk sometimes, just moan over eating something is
- 25:22Speaker 2: a great thing. And I look forward to that in
- 25:26Speaker 2: a relationship. Do you get a lot of that? Well,
- 25:29Speaker 2: not right this minute.
- 25:30Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:30Speaker 7: Are you doing that now?
- 25:31Speaker 2: Not this moment. But I will tell you what I
- 25:34Speaker 2: think is worse. And you, if you're doing this, I
- 25:40Speaker 2: really worry for you in your relationship. And that is
- 25:44Speaker 2: not only eating separately, but if you're going to the
- 25:46Speaker 2: store separately and you're buying your stuff separately, it's a
- 25:51Speaker 2: real problem. Like if you're doing like you're going to
- 25:54Speaker 2: the grocery store, getting what you want, but not what
- 25:56Speaker 2: they want. They're doing the same thing. I think that's
- 25:59Speaker 2: even worse.
- 26:00Speaker 5: Yeah, that is diabolical.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Individual shopping without buying what your partner is going to
- 26:05Speaker 2: have is I think it's a path to disaster.
- 26:07Speaker 5: I think so, too.
- 26:08Speaker 2: Happens. People do it. I see people in stores.
- 26:10Speaker 7: That would be so weird.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I know people that do it.
- 26:13Speaker 5: So when you're in a relationship, Ryan, though, like your
- 26:16Speaker 5: schedule is insane. And I'm sure their schedule is insane, too.
- 26:18Speaker 5: When do you find the time? Do you do it
- 26:20Speaker 5: every night or FaceTime? You FaceTime dinners? That's really cute.
- 26:25Speaker 2: I usually prop up my phone on my glass or something,
- 26:28Speaker 2: my cup, and then we FaceTime.
- 26:31Speaker 5: Yeah, because you have to. Otherwise, it'd be like weeks.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Well, I mean, not weeks, but there'd be dryness in
- 26:40Speaker 2: the food combining category.
- 26:42Speaker 5: What are we talking about now?
- 26:43Speaker 7: Yeah, I feel it took a turn.
- 26:45Speaker 2: No, I'm talking about you wouldn't be there in person.
- 26:49Speaker 2: All right. Well, thank you. Good luck. Don't shop individually.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Be thoughtful. Let's pay a bill next. Our Chewbacca lineup
- 26:57Speaker 2: announced last hour. It's up at KissFM.com. And it's so good.
- 27:00Speaker 2: And tickets go on sale to Capital One cardholders Tuesday.
- 27:03Speaker 2: First thing Tuesday. Ronnie is out in Santa Fe Springs
- 27:05Speaker 2: giving away free gas. Ronnie, who'd you find?
- 27:08Speaker 1: Good morning. Okay. There is a lady pulling up right now. Like,
- 27:13Speaker 1: fully in her little mini Cooper. That is so cute.
- 27:16Speaker 1: I'm going to go up to her, but I need
- 27:18Speaker 1: to wait for her to get out of the car.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I don't want her to think I'm like being a creep.
- 27:23Speaker 2: That's a good priority.
- 27:25Speaker 4: Number one. Yeah.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Okay.
- 27:26Speaker 1: So I'm trying to act nonchalantly. Hold on. Let me
- 27:31Speaker 1: like turn my back to her. So she doesn't think
- 27:33Speaker 1: I'm trying to come up to her so fast.
- 27:35Speaker 2: By the way, if you ask me nonchalantly, is that,
- 27:37Speaker 2: look at that. What if you ask, if you are nonchalantly,
- 27:39Speaker 2: does that mean you're.
- 27:41Speaker 5: Because nonchalantly.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Yeah, what's chalantly?
- 27:45Speaker 2: I've never said, I'm going to act chalantly today. Hi, ma'am.
- 27:48Speaker 1: I'm with Kiss FM. We would love to pay for
- 27:50Speaker 1: your gas this morning. Do you want free gas? Oh, no.
- 27:52Speaker 1: All right.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Oh, see?
- 27:54Speaker 1: That was too chalantly. I was, I was trying to,
- 27:57Speaker 1: I wasn't trying to be like creepy to her.
- 28:00Speaker 5: It's attentive, concerned, engaged.
- 28:01Speaker 2: Now, do you hold a grudge? Rodney, I want to,
- 28:04Speaker 2: do you hold a grudge there or you're fine?
- 28:06Speaker 1: Oh, no, I'm fine because I'm like, oh, I was
- 28:08Speaker 1: trying to give you free gas. And you know what?
- 28:10Speaker 3: Exactly. Okay.
- 28:12Speaker 1: So I was like, Oh yeah, I'm fine.
- 28:14Speaker 4: Okay.
- 28:14Speaker 1: Hold on. There's another boy right here. I have to
- 28:17Speaker 1: do the same thing.
- 28:19Speaker 3: No, you guys released.
- 28:20Speaker 1: You probably think I'm like people where we think I'm
- 28:22Speaker 1: just creepy. Like I'm just standing here. So I have
- 28:24Speaker 1: to like, ha ha ha. Like laugh over here on
- 28:27Speaker 1: the phone.
- 28:28Speaker 4: And then, okay.
- 28:29Speaker 1: He's getting out of his car. Hi, my name is Ronnie.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Sorry. I'm on the phone.
- 28:33Speaker 4: My name is Ronnie.
- 28:33Speaker 1: I'm on the phone with Ryan Seacrest. We would love
- 28:35Speaker 1: to pay for your gas this morning. Do you want
- 28:36Speaker 1: free gas?
- 28:38Speaker 4: Uh, Yeah. Okay.
- 28:42Speaker 2: I think he doesn't breathe. It sounds like a lie.
- 28:44Speaker 2: It's a mouthful. Hi, good morning. What's your name?
- 28:46Speaker 4: My name is Johnny.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Johnny, I know it's very strange that Ronnie has walked
- 28:52Speaker 2: up to you and offered you free gas without breathing.
- 28:55Speaker 2: We're on Kiss FM. It's Ryan Seacrest here on the
- 28:57Speaker 2: other side of the phone. I've got Sisney and Johnny.
- 28:59Speaker 6: Hi.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Basically, we're just out. You probably see the Kiss vehicle
- 29:02Speaker 2: somewhere around you just for proof.
- 29:05Speaker 1: Yeah, no, yeah, they got it parked out front.
- 29:07Speaker 4: This is crazy.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Okay, then it's legit, bro. This is not a scam.
- 29:12Speaker 2: We are filling up your tank, free gas, just surprising
- 29:14Speaker 2: people in Southern California because the prices are so high, Johnny.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Yeah, they are. Well, thank you so much.
- 29:21Speaker 3: This is awesome.
- 29:22Speaker 2: You got it, bro. So what did you think when
- 29:24Speaker 2: that man approached you?
- 29:27Speaker 4: I thought maybe he was going to ask for something,
- 29:30Speaker 4: like maybe gas or something. No, i don't know he's
- 29:33Speaker 4: smiling he didn't he didn't okay well that's great giving
- 29:37Speaker 4: better than asking so.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Where are you headed.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Um actually uh i'm i'm door dashing right now i
- 29:46Speaker 4: work i do door dash.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Uh so you have orders in the.
- 29:50Speaker 9: Back yeah i do actually i have uh So Tyler,
- 29:56Speaker 9: I have a steak and cheese for Tyler from Subway.
- 30:00Speaker 3: Okay.
- 30:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:02Speaker 2: And then anything else?
- 30:05Speaker 4: No, just that right now. I'm probably not even supposed
- 30:07Speaker 4: to be stopping the talk.
- 30:08Speaker 2: But what if Tyler were listening right now and he's like, dude,
- 30:11Speaker 2: where's my steak and cheese? And then he hears you
- 30:12Speaker 2: with Ronnie. That's going to be a really small world
- 30:14Speaker 2: story that you can tell your kids.
- 30:16Speaker 4: You know, uh, I hope you'd understand, you know, I
- 30:20Speaker 4: hope you will.
- 30:21Speaker 2: Tyler is a, Tyler sounds like a very understanding kind
- 30:25Speaker 2: of guy name, right?
- 30:26Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Tyler.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Tyler's always there for me. I, you know, Tyler's one
- 30:30Speaker 2: of my good friends. I tell everything to Tyler. I
- 30:32Speaker 2: think he's that guy.
- 30:34Speaker 4: And I think if you're getting a steak and cheese,
- 30:36Speaker 4: you gotta be kind of chill, but.
- 30:37Speaker 2: Not so nonchalant to have a steak and cheese this
- 30:40Speaker 2: early in the morning.
- 30:43Speaker 6: That is.
- 30:43Speaker 4: Yeah, you're right. I, you'd be surprised what I get though.
- 30:46Speaker 2: I might want to ride along.
- 30:48Speaker 5: That would be kind of cool to see all the
- 30:50Speaker 5: different meals.
- 30:50Speaker 2: A DoorDash ride along and then go meet the people, right? Hey, Tyler,
- 30:54Speaker 2: I'm just riding along.
- 30:55Speaker 8: And sometimes it's not even food. Like I had a
- 30:57Speaker 8: DoorDash eyelashes once.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Did you ever have to do.
- 31:00Speaker 1: That, Johnny?
- 31:01Speaker 4: Yeah, they do pickups from CVS or whatever.
- 31:05Speaker 1: I mean, it's not just food anymore.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Anything you were surprised to pick up?
- 31:12Speaker 4: Like condoms sometimes.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Well, no, those are responsible, Johnny. Let's not make those taboo.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Those are responsible.
- 31:21Speaker 4: No, yeah, no, very responsible. It's just always funny to
- 31:25Speaker 4: see it on the thing.
- 31:25Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 31:27Speaker 6: More than once.
- 31:27Speaker 2: I love that our DoorDash people are, like, judging us.
- 31:31Speaker 2: It's fun.
- 31:32Speaker 5: It's so good.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Okay, Johnny, I'm going to let you go. Ronnie, Johnny, Johnny, Ronnie,
- 31:35Speaker 2: fill it up and get to Tyler.
- 31:37Speaker 1: All right?
- 31:37Speaker 2: Thank you very much. Good luck today, Johnny. Get to Tyler.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Thank you, Ronnie.
- 31:40Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 31:40Speaker 2: And we'll be back with Kiss FM with four takes
- 31:42Speaker 2: of Disneyland. Johnny, you want to do this trending report here?
- 31:45Speaker 2: Let's go.
- 31:45Speaker 7: I sure do.
- 31:46Speaker 2: What do you have?
- 31:47Speaker 7: Is humor the best way to get through a breakup
- 31:49Speaker 7: or is it rude? And I asked this question because
- 31:51Speaker 7: Jack Antonoff was performing with his band Bleachers when a
- 31:55Speaker 7: fan yelled out a request for a song, Let's Get Married.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Jack's response, he.
- 32:00Speaker 7: Said, absolutely not. Read the news, brother. And if you
- 32:04Speaker 7: haven't been reading the news, Jack and Margaret Qualley reportedly
- 32:07Speaker 7: split this summer after about three years of marriage. And
- 32:11Speaker 7: it seems to be the first time that Jack has
- 32:12Speaker 7: publicly talked about the split, even if it was with
- 32:15Speaker 7: a joke. So the song is reportedly one that was
- 32:19Speaker 7: played at their wedding.
- 32:20Speaker 4: So.
- 32:21Speaker 7: A little bit awkward. The video of Jack's response has
- 32:25Speaker 7: over 1.5 million views. It's gone viral. People are divided.
- 32:28Speaker 7: Some people think it's funny. It's a funny way to
- 32:30Speaker 7: handle it. Others think it's a little bit of a jab.
- 32:33Speaker 7: But my question is, is making a joke a sign
- 32:35Speaker 7: that you've moved on? Or is it a sign that
- 32:38Speaker 7: you're still hurting and bitter? To me, it gives hurting
- 32:41Speaker 7: and bitter. I think....
- 32:44Speaker 2: Think joking is good but you're probably not totally past
- 32:49Speaker 2: it right but i like that it was a quick
- 32:51Speaker 2: quip from somebody in the audience and i think also
- 32:55Speaker 2: when one is in on the joke like when you're
- 32:58Speaker 2: in on it i think it's pretty cool so i
- 33:02Speaker 2: don't know how he feels and i would have not
- 33:04Speaker 2: known that they were not together until you told me
- 33:08Speaker 2: it happened over the summer exactly.
- 33:12Speaker 7: How did you miss that?
- 33:13Speaker 5: It was like a big story. He didn't read the news.
- 33:16Speaker 2: I tried to avoid news all summer.
- 33:18Speaker 7: No, but I feel like.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Because it's bad just like this.
- 33:20Speaker 7: I feel like it would have been cool if this
- 33:22Speaker 7: person said, you know, sing the song. And he's like, ah,
- 33:25Speaker 7: not tonight. You know, just kind of like brush it off.
- 33:27Speaker 7: Whereas I feel like making a joke just like brings
- 33:30Speaker 7: it to light a little bit more.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Another way to look at it is absolutely. I loved
- 33:34Speaker 2: that person. They were a chapter in my life. And
- 33:36Speaker 2: I'm going to honor them by singing the song. Maybe
- 33:38Speaker 2: that's a better approach. I like that approach.
- 33:41Speaker 7: I don't know if I like that approach.
- 33:42Speaker 2: Well, you don't like things that I decide to do
- 33:44Speaker 2: in my life. Actually, one of our.
- 33:46Speaker 7: Listeners said that. They were like, I love how you
- 33:48Speaker 7: guys could push Ryan's. You know exactly how to push
- 33:50Speaker 7: his buttons.
- 33:50Speaker 2: What buttons have you ever pressed?
- 33:51Speaker 7: I was like, yeah, we do. I was like, we
- 33:53Speaker 7: know how to push his buttons. And he goes, and
- 33:54Speaker 7: he knows how to do it back.
- 33:57Speaker 2: Well, thank you, I think.
- 33:59Speaker 7: Yeah, it was cute. She thought it was really cute
- 34:01Speaker 7: and fun.
- 34:03Speaker 2: I'm still trying to find my buttons.
- 34:06Speaker 1: On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 34:10Speaker 2: It's Kiss. Leon Thomas, Chris Brown, Mutt Secrets with you.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Shall we? Let's get into it. Looking now at our
- 34:16Speaker 2: weekend watch list. What is on our radar for things
- 34:21Speaker 2: that we have found that maybe you want to see?
- 34:23Speaker 2: I'm always all ears. Matter of fact, I take a
- 34:26Speaker 2: picture on my phone of the little notes that you
- 34:30Speaker 2: guys have here in the studio.
- 34:31Speaker 3: Right.
- 34:32Speaker 2: So I can be reminded of what you suggested because
- 34:34Speaker 2: it's also on the podcast, but. It's also quick to
- 34:37Speaker 2: do it here since I'm here. So here we go.
- 34:38Speaker 2: What's first, Disney, on your weekend watch list?
- 34:40Speaker 8: Okay, this popped up on my Netflix and I just
- 34:43Speaker 8: kind of clicked on it and loved it. Binged it
- 34:46Speaker 8: in a couple days. Eight episodes are streaming now. It's
- 34:48Speaker 8: called Crew Girl. And it's about a family scandal of
- 34:51Speaker 8: this Southern California teen who then has to relocate to
- 34:54Speaker 8: the East Coast and ends up going to like a
- 34:56Speaker 8: prep school out there. And she's in charge of the
- 34:59Speaker 8: boys varsity rowing team because she wants to row. It
- 35:03Speaker 8: is really cute and it's an easy watch. So I
- 35:06Speaker 8: highly recommend it.
- 35:07Speaker 4: All right.
- 35:08Speaker 2: And Tanya, what's on your weekend watch list?
- 35:10Speaker 7: Mine is Dancing with the Stars on ABC and Disney Plus.
- 35:13Speaker 7: This show, this season. So Alfonso, Julianne Hough are back
- 35:16Speaker 7: as hosts. And this lineup of celebrities this year is
- 35:20Speaker 7: so good. I'm locked in and obsessed. We have Maura Higgins, Fibula,
- 35:24Speaker 7: Jenna Dewan, Tyler Cameron, Julia Stiles. It is stacked.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Okay. And when's that on?
- 35:30Speaker 7: It's on Tuesdays.
- 35:31Speaker 2: Oh, the same morning that our Tickets go on sale
- 35:35Speaker 2: to Jingle Ball presented by Capital One.
- 35:37Speaker 3: That's right.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Next Tuesday. It's also on Hulu and Disney Plus. You
- 35:40Speaker 2: can get it on demand. Now, Ruby, what's in here
- 35:42Speaker 2: we can watch this?
- 35:42Speaker 10: So this one is by the other Ryan, Ryan Murphy.
- 35:45Speaker 10: It's Monster, the Lizzie Borden.
- 35:48Speaker 2: Love the Murph.
- 35:49Speaker 10: You know it's good. It's Monster, the Lizzie Borden story.
- 35:52Speaker 10: So it tells the true story of Lizzie Borden.
- 35:55Speaker 5: Who apparently is from the East Coast.
- 35:56Speaker 10: Michaela was just telling me. A stifled young Victorian woman
- 36:00Speaker 10: whose intense bond with the family's new housemaid leads to
- 36:03Speaker 10: the infamous 1892 axe murders.
- 36:09Speaker 6: 1892?
- 36:09Speaker 3: Yes.
- 36:09Speaker 6: What?
- 36:09Speaker 2: This goes way back.
- 36:10Speaker 10: So all eight episodes are streaming now.
- 36:13Speaker 5: I want to watch that. That sounds good.
- 36:15Speaker 2: If Ryan Murphy did it, I'm going to like it.
- 36:18Speaker 2: 1892 is a long time ago.
- 36:20Speaker 6: Yes.
- 36:21Speaker 2: All right. So on my weekend watch list, I got nothing.
- 36:24Speaker 2: I finished everything. So I did The Gentleman. I finished
- 36:27Speaker 2: it season two. I finished Lioness. I'm bummed.
- 36:29Speaker 7: Did you watch Widow's Bay with Matthew Rhys?
- 36:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I almost did. Okay.
- 36:33Speaker 7: Well, put that.
- 36:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:35Speaker 5: I mean, that was a big winner.
- 36:36Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 36:38Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 36:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:39Speaker 7: Huge winner.
- 36:40Speaker 2: There's no sci-fi to it.
- 36:43Speaker 7: It's like, it's weird. It's creepy campy.
- 36:46Speaker 5: There's, there's weirdness here and there. Like, it's not scary
- 36:50Speaker 5: no no no like.
- 36:51Speaker 2: I'm not scared is it sci-fi no not sci-fi is
- 36:55Speaker 2: everything real.
- 36:57Speaker 5: Yes no well there's see i have i don't know.
- 37:03Speaker 8: It gets there's a few episodes where there's like a
- 37:05Speaker 8: ghost feeling situation i.
- 37:07Speaker 2: Love that guy i i matthew reese you should you would.
- 37:11Speaker 7: Like it yes he's the mayor He's so amazing. Like,
- 37:16Speaker 7: I just think he's an amazing human. I've never met him,
- 37:19Speaker 7: but every single one of his interviews, I fall more
- 37:21Speaker 7: and more in love with him.
- 37:22Speaker 2: I do too. Oh, who else did I have a
- 37:24Speaker 2: crush on?
- 37:25Speaker 4: Ah, Diplo.
- 37:26Speaker 2: I fell in love with him last weekend. I got
- 37:28Speaker 2: a lot of love going around.
- 37:30Speaker 3: Yep.
- 37:31Speaker 2: A lot of love to give. A lot of love
- 37:34Speaker 2: to give. Coming up next, we're going to pay your bills.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Let me just take a look at the weekend here
- 37:37Speaker 2: as we roll up on our Friday, almost 10 o'clock

- 38:10Speaker 1: You're welcome.
- 38:11Speaker 2: Wow. The Pasadena Chalk Festival. Now, it's over 500 artists
- 38:17Speaker 2: creating giant chalk murals on the pavement of And it's
- 38:21Speaker 2: free this weekend in Pasadena.
- 38:22Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 38:23Speaker 8: Have you guys seen cool chalk art where it looks
- 38:25Speaker 8: like it stares like going down and it messes with your.
- 38:29Speaker 5: Eyes, but it looks so real.
- 38:31Speaker 3: Yes.
- 38:31Speaker 5: That's like what they do.
- 38:33Speaker 2: The dimension.
- 38:34Speaker 6: Right.
- 38:34Speaker 5: It's the dimension.
- 38:35Speaker 2: They work the dimension by angles and lines. It's wild.
- 38:40Speaker 2: It's an optical illusion. The Abbott Kinney Festival is in Venice.
- 38:44Speaker 2: Three stages, local vendors, food trucks, you know, that vibe
- 38:47Speaker 2: down there in Venice. Love that. The Port Hueneme Banana Festival.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Port Hueneme Banana Festival is free. It's right on the water.
- 38:55Speaker 2: Live music, food, vendors, everything. Expecting 10,000 people plus for bananas.
- 39:00Speaker 5: What are they going to do with the bananas?
- 39:03Speaker 2: They're going to consume them in different ways.
- 39:04Speaker 7: Yeah, you can eat them in many different ways. In
- 39:07Speaker 7: a smoothie, on a sandwich.
- 39:08Speaker 5: I love bananas.
- 39:09Speaker 7: Deep fried.
- 39:10Speaker 5: So much.
- 39:11Speaker 2: I like a chocolate-dipped banana.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Or a frozen banana.
- 39:14Speaker 5: Oh, with the nuts on it? I don't have enough
- 39:15Speaker 5: of those.
- 39:16Speaker 2: Or I just freeze my bananas. I just put them
- 39:17Speaker 2: in the freezer and eat them like a popsicle. They're
- 39:19Speaker 2: so refreshing.
- 39:20Speaker 5: I get a toast and peanut butter and bananas, little
- 39:22Speaker 5: slices on top.
- 39:23Speaker 2: Drizzle some honey. Why don't you head down there to
- 39:25Speaker 2: the port? Riverside Art Music Festival. Live music, lots of art, good, games,
