- 1:29Speaker 3: Got a leak.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I almost did the bottle thing, but I only had
- 1:33Speaker 1: a water bottle.
- 1:34Speaker 4: If you know what I'm saying, that ain't gonna get
- 1:36Speaker 4: the job done.
- 1:37Speaker 3: You need a little wider bottle.
- 1:40Speaker 4: I'm more of a gatorade man when it comes to
- 1:43Speaker 4: peeing in the car.
- 1:44Speaker 1: So now we're searching for Chris's apartment. He just moved here.
- 1:49Speaker 1: He was telling me on the phone. He has like
- 1:51Speaker 1: three apartments right now. That's like just stupid.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Why would you want or have three apartments?
- 1:57Speaker 2: That's just dumb. Yo.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Smile, you're on camera.
- 2:02Speaker 4: A lot of a lot of security in this neighborhood.

- 2:31Speaker 4: No, oh shit, I'm just pushing buttons. Oh that's not
- 2:36Speaker 4: how it works.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Oh oops, sorry to you.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Okay, all right, let me try that again. I know
- 2:43Speaker 3: no answer. Let me try that again. All right?

- 3:03Speaker 3: Are you gonna let me in?
- 3:07Speaker 2: Huh?
- 3:09Speaker 3: Yeah? Do you mind if I came in?
- 3:11Speaker 5: All right?
- 3:11Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 3:13Speaker 3: I'm not gonna follow you or anything.
- 3:15Speaker 2: It's very echoing in here.
- 3:16Speaker 5: I notice I gotta go this way, bye, galls. All right,
- 3:21Speaker 5: have a good day.
- 3:25Speaker 3: Walk the stairs.
- 3:26Speaker 4: That should be good for the bladder.
- 3:32Speaker 5: Getting my steps in this place is like a maze. Yo,
- 3:37Speaker 5: Chrissy Day, where are you? Where are you? Chrissy Day?
- 3:44Speaker 6: I went up the.
- 3:45Speaker 5: Wrong side.
- 3:47Speaker 2: By the way.
- 3:48Speaker 5: We're podcasting, so put your clothes on.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Yeah, Chrissy Day, the podcast.
- 3:58Speaker 5: Yeah, welcome Whitney Houston. Hell yeah, I don't know about that.
- 4:03Speaker 5: I rolled out the big things for you. God damn,
- 4:05Speaker 5: look at this place? What do you It's kind of
- 4:08Speaker 5: like has a sex and the city vibe.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna have dinner parties here on my fucking
- 4:13Speaker 2: big gay table.
- 4:17Speaker 5: The place is empty, though, where's your furd shirt?
- 4:20Speaker 2: I got here?
- 4:20Speaker 5: I got everything in garbage bags over here.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Let me see your garbage bags room?
- 4:26Speaker 5: Okay, here I want to garbage bags. I want to say,
- 4:31Speaker 5: very nice for my imagination. Isn't that good?
- 4:33Speaker 3: So I don't know.
- 4:34Speaker 5: I'm looking at an empty room with a lot of
- 4:36Speaker 5: garbage bags. Yeah, Wiley, I got I got shelves from
- 4:39Speaker 5: where I can't.
- 4:40Speaker 2: I don't know the guy. I bought this place, and
- 4:41Speaker 2: the guy fully renovated it for me.
- 4:43Speaker 5: Beautiful. Yeah, this is the bathroom moments. It's big, it
- 4:46Speaker 5: is big. It's a bit on the gray side.
- 4:48Speaker 3: I guess you're like gray tile with the pressed kid.
- 4:50Speaker 1: You know why there's one color in your apartment?
- 4:54Speaker 3: I mean it's new and nice, but there's like a
- 4:57Speaker 3: great theme in here.
- 4:59Speaker 5: Yeah, you think it's too great.
- 5:01Speaker 6: It's a little great.
- 5:02Speaker 5: Yeah, but it gets a lot of natural light. Though
- 5:05Speaker 5: you might want to splash some colors on the wall.
- 5:07Speaker 5: You know. What do you think though? What do you
- 5:08Speaker 5: think of this?
- 5:09Speaker 3: This area is killer?
- 5:10Speaker 2: Man?
- 5:11Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 5:11Speaker 5: Where are you gonna put the TV?
- 5:12Speaker 3: Though?
- 5:12Speaker 5: Do you have a living room? I don't know. Oh,
- 5:16Speaker 5: you haven't figured anything out.
- 5:17Speaker 2: I think maybe I'll put the TV on this one
- 5:19Speaker 2: and then the couch back there.
- 5:20Speaker 5: But then all right, it's up too far.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Away.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Yeah, it is a little far away. You got a
- 5:24Speaker 5: wide open kitchen. This is nice.
- 5:26Speaker 2: I don't these chairs don't match, but whatever, who cares,
- 5:29Speaker 2: bro It doesn't matter.
- 5:31Speaker 1: You know, you're not a struggling comedian anymore, so maybe
- 5:33Speaker 1: you want to.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Replace the chairs.
- 5:36Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I own this place.
- 5:37Speaker 2: On it.
- 5:38Speaker 5: It feels good to be a homeowner. It's uh, oh,
- 5:41Speaker 5: you bought I own this? Yeah, that's why it's like, yeah, yeah,
- 5:47Speaker 5: I own it. Then this is I bought it with
- 5:49Speaker 5: fucking jokes. Good for you, buddy. Yeah, congratulations.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Next wood floor, I bought the guy fully renovated for me.
- 5:55Speaker 2: So it took like ten months and I've just been
- 5:57Speaker 2: living out of my trunk for then. Really, why it's
- 5:59Speaker 2: three apartments now and I can't live in any of them?
- 6:01Speaker 5: Why do you have three apartments? You know?
- 6:03Speaker 2: My kid, my kid and her mom had paid for that.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Then I have a place in downtown Brooklyn that I
- 6:11Speaker 2: let my friend Phil Hanley, the great comedian Phil Hanley
- 6:14Speaker 2: move into, because I thought that this place.
- 6:16Speaker 5: Would close sooner. But it didn't close until yesterday.
- 6:20Speaker 2: So I had my friend Phil living in my place
- 6:22Speaker 2: for three months because I thought the place was going
- 6:24Speaker 2: to close three months ago, but there was a problem
- 6:26Speaker 2: with the pipes, and then I just moved in here.
- 6:29Speaker 1: So why didn't you kick Phil out and say, yo,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I need one of my places back.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Well, because he's paying half the rent, so I figured, like,
- 6:35Speaker 2: I'm not going to be there, so at least I
- 6:37Speaker 2: get Oh, you were living with him? No, I wasn't
- 6:39Speaker 2: living with him. He was just having it. I told him.
- 6:41Speaker 2: I was like, look, I can't because I basically, prematurely,
- 6:46Speaker 2: like a fucking chrissy d stupid move, was like, I'm
- 6:48Speaker 2: going to buy this place and then just break the
- 6:50Speaker 2: lease of my other place. And then they were like
- 6:52Speaker 2: when I did all that, I bought this place, and
- 6:54Speaker 2: then when I went to my other place, like, you
- 6:56Speaker 2: can't break the lease here. You have to live out
- 6:58Speaker 2: the lease to the full term or get someone in here,
- 7:00Speaker 2: and we don't give a fuck. They were not giving
- 7:03Speaker 2: me any help. So I was like, fuck, what am
- 7:06Speaker 2: I gonna do? And Phil Hanley needed a place, so
- 7:09Speaker 2: he was like, look, man, i'll get you. I'll get
- 7:12Speaker 2: I'll live in your place, but I can't pay the
- 7:13Speaker 2: full rent. I'll pay like you know, two g's of it.
- 7:16Speaker 2: So I was like, okay, so then I was like, fine,
- 7:18Speaker 2: moving because I'm gonna be closing this place any day.
- 7:20Speaker 5: And that was three and a half months ago. I
- 7:23Speaker 5: was living.
- 7:23Speaker 2: I've just been living out of my trunk, living with
- 7:25Speaker 2: my mom my dad, and now I just have my
- 7:28Speaker 2: stuff here. But I can't even get my furniture yet
- 7:30Speaker 2: because Phil has it until the end of the lease.
- 7:32Speaker 2: So why did you get like a little blow up
- 7:35Speaker 2: air mattresses air mattress and hang out and get get
- 7:38Speaker 2: the TV.
- 7:38Speaker 5: Set up and all?
- 7:39Speaker 3: Yeah, that's what I did when I first moved to
- 7:41Speaker 3: New York.
- 7:41Speaker 5: How long did you have an air mattress for it
- 7:43Speaker 5: before you?
- 7:43Speaker 2: Actual?
- 7:44Speaker 5: Bet I've got a week or so. Air mattresses are
- 7:47Speaker 5: nice now.
- 7:48Speaker 2: But yeah, man, all right, I'm nice. I'll get an
- 7:50Speaker 2: air mattress. I want to get like a fucking bean
- 7:51Speaker 2: bag chair, Yes, I want it. So you think it's
- 7:54Speaker 2: too great. Maybe I should just paint the wall, Maybe.
- 7:56Speaker 5: I should just what should I do?
- 7:58Speaker 1: That's really nice, it's really nice, real and the job
- 8:01Speaker 1: is really nice.
- 8:02Speaker 5: But I think someone, uh, that's very depressed. It's very great.
- 8:09Speaker 5: It's so you think I should just maybe repaint and
- 8:11Speaker 5: go all white. Maybe a wall or two yeah, you
- 8:14Speaker 5: have to do the whole thing.
- 8:15Speaker 2: Yeah, because I was I actually my first suggestion was
- 8:18Speaker 2: I want to paint one wall gray and one wall black.
- 8:20Speaker 2: And the guy was like, okay, he said, but you've
- 8:23Speaker 2: got a lot of natural sunlight in here. Yeah, you know,
- 8:25Speaker 2: it's already kind of a smaller place, so it's like
- 8:27Speaker 2: painted black.
- 8:27Speaker 5: And then they painted a wall black.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Yeah, And I came in here and I just got
- 8:31Speaker 2: like really emotionally upset.
- 8:32Speaker 5: I was like, I was likeit to gray.
- 8:35Speaker 1: It's not gonna help anxiety tuesdays.
- 8:37Speaker 5: Now. Dude, I sit on this window and the only
- 8:38Speaker 5: thing I worry about is this. I mean, this is
- 8:40Speaker 5: a problem in New York City. I got a fire escape.
- 8:43Speaker 5: Somebody could just walk up easily. And so what am
- 8:46Speaker 5: I supposed to do there?
- 8:47Speaker 2: Should I get that viper security that makes that shoots
- 8:50Speaker 2: a hologram of a viper?
- 8:51Speaker 5: You need to lock this down?
- 8:52Speaker 1: Well, this is we're looking at a giant window that
- 8:55Speaker 1: opens up very easily.
- 8:56Speaker 3: To a fire escape, which is a foot outside the window.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I mean, couldn't be easier for somebody who wants to
- 9:01Speaker 1: rob you just walk right in.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Oh, let's let's hang out out there, man, like old school.
- 9:06Speaker 5: Well, I don't think you can.
- 9:06Speaker 2: The guy told me not to go out there until
- 9:08Speaker 2: they get the fire code up to.
- 9:10Speaker 5: No, man, you sit out there pot, I know, but
- 9:14Speaker 5: you smoke pot, but the I don't. I don't smoke pot.
- 9:16Speaker 5: I had him doing. I have been eating CBD popcorn
- 9:19Speaker 5: nice and that's been helping. Good for you. But yeah,
- 9:22Speaker 5: the guy told me we can't go out on the
- 9:23Speaker 5: fire escape yet. That's CBD.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Is UH is a lifesaver because you don't really get
- 9:28Speaker 1: the high, but you get the good feeling.
- 9:29Speaker 5: I get. My anxiety goes away and it makes yeah.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Because I haven't touched any weed or been scared to
- 9:34Speaker 2: like take an edible since we went to the Islanders.
- 9:38Speaker 5: We got to do that.
- 9:39Speaker 2: People asked me to tell that story at least once
- 9:42Speaker 2: a week on podcasts.
- 9:43Speaker 5: On stage, they're like, yo, tell the story about I'll
- 9:45Speaker 5: be with the Edibles. It was one of the greatest.
- 9:47Speaker 2: Nights of we left after the first period Islanders Rangers.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Well, you took too much. I kind of knew what
- 9:54Speaker 5: I was doing.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Well because you just gave me a chocolate bar and
- 9:56Speaker 2: was like eat this, and you know me, I gotta
- 9:58Speaker 2: fuck it.
- 9:58Speaker 5: Star thirty eight waists. I just threw that shit run
- 10:00Speaker 5: into my mouth. All of a sudden, You're like, oh,
- 10:02Speaker 5: that chocolate bar tastes good. I need more.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I'm like, no, no, it's not about it's not about
- 10:06Speaker 1: enjoying a chocolate bar.
- 10:07Speaker 5: It's about getting the marijuana.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I know, dude.
- 10:10Speaker 5: And before you knew it, I fucking ate that whole thing.
- 10:12Speaker 5: That was crazy. Yeah, dude, but that was a good time.
- 10:15Speaker 5: That was a really good time. I remember they interviewed
- 10:17Speaker 5: us and I just couldn't even come hearing and.
- 10:19Speaker 1: The well, yeah you were on the jumbo tron and yeah,
- 10:21Speaker 1: you felt miserably.
- 10:22Speaker 5: I failed miserably.
- 10:23Speaker 1: Yeah, they were gonna interview me the next period, and
- 10:25Speaker 1: boy did I need publicity back then? Yea yeah, And
- 10:27Speaker 1: stupid Chrissy d needed to get the fuck out of there.
- 10:30Speaker 5: That was having a heart attack.
- 10:31Speaker 1: You did say, hey, man, if you want, you could
- 10:33Speaker 1: stay and get your big interview.
- 10:34Speaker 5: I'm like, you know what, No, we're going, We're going.
- 10:36Speaker 2: Yeah, And then you just fucking went on the train
- 10:38Speaker 2: and left me out in the freezing.
- 10:41Speaker 1: You were you you started sprinting away from me.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I got in a cab, I was living on ninety
- 10:46Speaker 2: fifth Street at the time. I got in a cab
- 10:48Speaker 2: and got out at sixty fifth Street, right, yeah, and
- 10:50Speaker 2: I just had to walk thirty blocks and the freezing
- 10:52Speaker 2: you walked.
- 10:52Speaker 5: Out, it was freezing. It could have been more than
- 10:55Speaker 5: fifteen degrees.
- 10:55Speaker 1: And now we're outside the Barclays here in Brooklyn and there's.
- 10:59Speaker 5: Not a person in site zero and now we're wandering around.
- 11:02Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden, I guess it was
- 11:03Speaker 1: taken too long and you just took off sprinting.
- 11:06Speaker 2: But yeah, because because I just had that, I thought
- 11:08Speaker 2: I was genuinely having a stroke. So I called Charan Small,
- 11:11Speaker 2: who gave it to us, and he was like, you're
- 11:12Speaker 2: not having a stroke, it was just a weed. Then
- 11:14Speaker 2: I called Mike Cannon, who's like my resident drug guy.
- 11:17Speaker 2: He was like, if you can just take that feeling,
- 11:19Speaker 2: that negative energy of a stroke and turn it into positivity,
- 11:22Speaker 2: you'll be awesome.
- 11:22Speaker 5: I was like, shut the fuck up, shut.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Up for you.
- 11:26Speaker 2: But I was like, I can't fucking feel anything. And
- 11:29Speaker 2: then I remember I went to my kids, you know,
- 11:31Speaker 2: my kid and her mom. I was there and I
- 11:33Speaker 2: was like, look, I know I'm not supposed to be here,
- 11:35Speaker 2: but like you know, can I need to just see
- 11:37Speaker 2: the baby. And she was like, what the fuck is
- 11:39Speaker 2: wrong with you. I was like, I'm having a stroke
- 11:41Speaker 2: and she was like, no, you're not. She was like,
- 11:43Speaker 2: did you do drugs? And I said, yeah, I took edibles.
- 11:45Speaker 2: And then she started to laugh and she gave me
- 11:47Speaker 2: a glass of warm milk and she was like, go
- 11:48Speaker 2: take a fucking shower to the asshole. So I did,
- 11:51Speaker 2: and then I felt better. And then I remember like
- 11:53Speaker 2: in the shower. First of all, I got in the shower.
- 11:55Speaker 2: I just needed to get in the shower because anything
- 11:57Speaker 2: anybody told me to do, I was going to do.
- 11:58Speaker 5: That time. I just like just quickly got in the shower, and.
- 12:01Speaker 2: I remember my daughter ran in to the bathroom and
- 12:04Speaker 2: I was like, oh my god, I love you so much.
- 12:05Speaker 2: And I put her back in bed, and I forgot
- 12:06Speaker 2: I still have my socks on. So I took a
- 12:08Speaker 2: shower at my socks on, and I remember just in
- 12:11Speaker 2: the middle of the shower, like two minutes in just whatever,
- 12:14Speaker 2: calming and then laughing, fucking hysterical. Yeah, and then I
- 12:17Speaker 2: just had the best time ever. And I remember even
- 12:20Speaker 2: the next day, I was still high as fuck. My
- 12:21Speaker 2: eyes were bloodshot. You think you were still texting all
- 12:24Speaker 2: of us? Yeah, but I still what do you feel?
- 12:26Speaker 5: Are you still high? I'm like, no, man, it's two
- 12:28Speaker 5: in the afternoon.
- 12:29Speaker 2: The next day, I'm see a little groggy, but I remember, dude,
- 12:33Speaker 2: I had a fucking great time.
- 12:35Speaker 3: Though.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I kind of want to do it again, but I
- 12:36Speaker 2: think this time, if I just took one little bite
- 12:38Speaker 2: way back.
- 12:39Speaker 1: No, if you were to listen to me that day,
- 12:41Speaker 1: we were all supposed to take one little square.
- 12:44Speaker 2: But it was you have to admit it was a
- 12:46Speaker 2: little bit more poem because even you who've done it
- 12:48Speaker 2: before said you were feeling like extra high.
- 12:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but I wasn't thinking that. You know, somebody was
- 12:53Speaker 1: harpooning us.
- 12:54Speaker 5: Like you said, did you say you thought someone that
- 12:57Speaker 5: harpooned you? I've oh yeah, no, no, no, no.
- 13:00Speaker 2: I was trying to remember, I said when in the
- 13:02Speaker 2: remember like when the it was island just rangers.
- 13:04Speaker 5: I think it was one one.
- 13:05Speaker 2: Then the first period buzzer went off, and I thought
- 13:08Speaker 2: somebody threw a spear from the top of my end.
- 13:09Speaker 2: I remember my head going like that, and I was like,
- 13:12Speaker 2: what the fuck was that? Is there a spear in
- 13:13Speaker 2: my head? And you were like what and then I
- 13:15Speaker 2: was like fuck.
- 13:17Speaker 5: And then we read it to Jim Cerproco.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Oh my god, well obviously helps you guys out with
- 13:21Speaker 1: Baibridge boys.
- 13:22Speaker 3: And man, I think that might have been my opportunity
- 13:24Speaker 3: to be a babridge boy.
- 13:25Speaker 5: And I fucked it up because I was too high. Yeah,
- 13:27Speaker 5: it was too high.
- 13:29Speaker 1: And we walked to get a beer with the guy
- 13:31Speaker 1: and then, uh, you thought you were having a heart attack.
- 13:33Speaker 1: You thought there was a spear in your head. Yeah,
- 13:35Speaker 1: your leg went and so you thought you were having
- 13:38Speaker 1: a stroke. And looks at me. I've known Spago forever.
- 13:42Speaker 5: Yeah, and he goes, what's up?
- 13:44Speaker 3: And you know, we took some edibles.

- 13:57Speaker 2: and you together, like we were going to recognize a
- 13:59Speaker 2: lot and I just couldn't fucking handle it. It's like
- 14:02Speaker 2: that's the worst place to be is around Islanders fans
- 14:04Speaker 2: who are like, oh, be Christy deep and I'm.
- 14:06Speaker 5: Like, no, I'm gonna die. I'm gonna die. Yeah, dude,

- 14:12Speaker 5: drawing two and a half hours, laying closures.
- 14:16Speaker 1: People getting pulled over for texting and driving. Yeah, I
- 14:20Speaker 1: think a helicopter land on landed on the Southern State Park.
- 14:24Speaker 5: Why well it was hovering.
- 14:26Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 14:26Speaker 5: Oh shit, there was an accident.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Fuck.
- 14:29Speaker 5: So I would do anything for you, Christy Day, Thank you.
- 14:31Speaker 5: So so here I am in bay Ridge, Brooklyn. What
- 14:34Speaker 5: do you think of bay Ridge so far? Have you
- 14:35Speaker 5: ever been here before, to this neighborhood.
- 14:37Speaker 1: I just went around the block a couple of times
- 14:38Speaker 1: to get parking, so.
- 14:39Speaker 5: It's like an old school Brooklyn hut. And then I
- 14:41Speaker 5: said hi to two really little girls that Oh what
- 14:45Speaker 5: was that? Oh that's the keys in my pocket? Oh
- 14:46Speaker 5: this place is so a week places haunted My god?
- 14:50Speaker 5: Oh fuck, I hope the shit isn't haunted. Man, I

- 14:55Speaker 2: sleep with me overnight? The first?
- 14:57Speaker 5: Will I do it overnight? Because last night I couldn't
- 14:59Speaker 5: sleep here. I slept on other place. We could get
- 15:01Speaker 5: like matching air mattresses. Dude, I'll do it. Where do
- 15:04Speaker 5: I get an air mattress?
- 15:05Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 15:05Speaker 5: Let's wander and find some shit for you.
- 15:07Speaker 2: I've fucking been looking. I think we have to go
- 15:09Speaker 2: to Target or some shit.
- 15:10Speaker 1: I mean, I like the I like the industrial fans,
- 15:12Speaker 1: but you might need a c in here.
- 15:14Speaker 5: You might need But these fans are ripping sweat right now, Chris.
- 15:17Speaker 5: But they're kind of working right a little bit, A
- 15:19Speaker 5: little bit, not much. I mean, it's only ninety degrees
- 15:22Speaker 5: in Brooklyn right now. So what do you want to do?
- 15:23Speaker 5: You want to walk around? Yeah, let's walk come on
- 15:27Speaker 5: own this place. Wait, you got a new tattoo on
- 15:29Speaker 5: the back. No, I've had that, girls.
- 15:32Speaker 3: Oh that's the I like it. Okay.
- 15:36Speaker 1: I listen to History Hyaenas on the way because that
- 15:39Speaker 1: time to kill. I don't listen to a lot of podcasts,
- 15:41Speaker 1: as you know, because it's sort of like you guys
- 15:44Speaker 1: in stand up do you do you purposely.
- 15:46Speaker 5: Watch a lot of stand ups?
- 15:47Speaker 2: I can't watch really a lot of guys stand ups
- 15:49Speaker 2: unless like I really really really like them. And it's
- 15:52Speaker 2: not that I think the stand ups who I can't
- 15:54Speaker 2: watch our band? I think they're great, but it's like
- 15:56Speaker 2: it's my work, right, you just start to be like
- 15:58Speaker 2: I watch a Bill Burr. I love to watch Bill
- 16:00Speaker 2: Burr because you just fucking murdered.
- 16:02Speaker 5: This is great.
- 16:02Speaker 2: I love to watch David l Old School Nick to Pola,
- 16:05Speaker 2: I love watching Colin, you know, But.
- 16:07Speaker 5: So you'll watch you watch some of the legends. Every
- 16:09Speaker 5: once in a while, I watch some of the legends.
- 16:11Speaker 1: But but you're not going out of you Yeah, let's
- 16:12Speaker 1: get out of your really hot apartment.
- 16:14Speaker 5: It's a lot cooler in the hallway.
- 16:16Speaker 2: I know.
- 16:17Speaker 5: So I don't listen to a lot of people Chinese people.
- 16:20Speaker 3: Yeah, wait, wait, wait, wait wait, I'm.
- 16:24Speaker 5: Smelling like some kind of soup. I think they're joining.
- 16:27Speaker 5: But do they cook a lot of soup?
- 16:29Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 16:29Speaker 5: But we're gonna see.
- 16:30Speaker 2: We're gonna see if we can, if we can get
- 16:32Speaker 2: them out, because I want to buy their apartment and
- 16:33Speaker 2: make a fucking super and knock the wall down because.
- 16:36Speaker 5: I heard if you can, like and it doesn't even
- 16:38Speaker 5: cost that much.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Because I already on this one. It's like you just
- 16:40Speaker 2: like refinancial mortgage and right, do you know about that ship?
- 16:43Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 16:43Speaker 5: I know about that ship. Yeah.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I'm trying to think how you could get a Chinese
- 16:47Speaker 1: person to leave their apartment.
- 16:49Speaker 3: I have some ideas, but we might get in trouble
- 16:51Speaker 3: if I suggest them.
- 16:52Speaker 5: Yeah, not yet. Come on, I have a chance. I
- 16:53Speaker 5: have a real chance with my career now.
- 16:55Speaker 1: I was being nice because Baybridge feels like a very
- 16:58Speaker 1: nice neighborhood, and I was I was locked out, obviously,
- 17:01Speaker 1: and I was calling your apartment and two very little
- 17:03Speaker 1: girls on scooters had their little key to get back
- 17:06Speaker 1: in the building. So I figured I just would be
- 17:08Speaker 1: nice to them.
- 17:10Speaker 4: And then I'm thinking, oh, man, this is stranger danger.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Stranger danger.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Then I try to tell them like, I'm not stranger danger. Yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 1: But then in the end, they did let me into
- 17:18Speaker 1: their apartments. So I want to talk to their parents
- 17:20Speaker 1: that they shouldn't be so gullible, because what if I was.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Stranger danger at that point, And I was just saying
- 17:24Speaker 3: I wasn't.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Stranger to go over to these girls. Hey, yeah, see
- 17:28Speaker 2: that's no good. I gotta fucking I got to talk
- 17:31Speaker 2: to the owner about that. I think you should, dude,
- 17:33Speaker 2: now that I bought one place, I just want to
- 17:35Speaker 2: buy every apartment in the fucking You want to go
- 17:37Speaker 2: down by the water, whatever you want to do, dude,
- 17:39Speaker 2: Let's go down by the one. I'll show you Owl's
- 17:41Speaker 2: Head Parkay, I'll show you the water, and I'll show
- 17:43Speaker 2: you the best fucking Delian bay Riche not aful peer
- 17:45Speaker 2: sixty nine market.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I need to walk a little bit, man, you like
- 17:49Speaker 1: or I'm like, this will be easy because I'm on
- 17:52Speaker 1: right now. I'm on vacation from my vacation because I
- 17:55Speaker 1: don't really work, as you know, of course, so I'm
- 17:58Speaker 1: I'd been on vacation, but then I decided to a
- 18:00Speaker 1: like a vacation from my vacation.
- 18:02Speaker 3: Does that make sense?
- 18:03Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 18:04Speaker 1: Yeah, hanging out a lot of relatives at a beach
- 18:06Speaker 1: and I'm like, you know what, I could take a.
- 18:08Speaker 3: Day, go see Chrissy day Hell yeah, do.
- 18:11Speaker 4: A little podcast, and then I'll get back to the beach.
- 18:13Speaker 2: She didn't take you two and a half hours to
- 18:14Speaker 2: get back too, at least at least.
- 18:16Speaker 4: I'm thinking three maybe three and a half.
- 18:18Speaker 2: But so, so you don't so all the activities with
- 18:20Speaker 2: your family today is just them and then you're just
- 18:22Speaker 2: gonna show up tonight.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Yeah, they're fishing and then we'll do maybe a beach
- 18:25Speaker 1: fire tonight. Oh sweet dude, where Yeah with the ladies
- 18:28Speaker 1: with the umbrellas on a really hot day.
- 18:30Speaker 2: I mean, I just think, like, you know, I get it,
- 18:32Speaker 2: because like melanoma is a motherfucker right, but it's you know,
- 18:35Speaker 2: I guess you she's Chinese. It's mostly Asian people. But
- 18:38Speaker 2: I'll tell you what. My daughter, All her friends are Asians.
- 18:41Speaker 2: She only she refuses to hang out with anybody other
- 18:43Speaker 2: than Asians. And I dig it because I feel like
- 18:45Speaker 2: the Asians are going to rule the world, like pretty soon,
- 18:47Speaker 2: like we're living in a time where China's gonna be
- 18:49Speaker 2: number one. I'll fuck yeah, And I just want her
- 18:51Speaker 2: to fucking have you know, all these Asian friends. So
- 18:55Speaker 2: like if there's some kind of like fucking space that
- 18:57Speaker 2: some kind of rocket ship that goes to outer space
- 18:59Speaker 2: that only Chinese pace, we can get on. At least
- 19:01Speaker 2: my daughter's got Chinese friends and maybe could get a
- 19:02Speaker 2: ticket from old pops.
- 19:03Speaker 1: And think about this, if they're hanging out doing those playdates,
- 19:07Speaker 1: maybe some of that super knowledge will seep into your
- 19:09Speaker 1: daughter's brain.
- 19:10Speaker 2: Hell yeah, and then maybe she can tell me a
- 19:12Speaker 2: good way to get the next door neighbors out so
- 19:13Speaker 2: I can buy their apartment.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Well, you gotta learn Chinese.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Yeah, well, I know like dezs Bishop. Oh, by the way,
- 19:18Speaker 2: didn't you do you did? You did an episode with Dez?
- 19:21Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 19:21Speaker 3: Killed?
- 19:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it was great. And you know how many people
- 19:23Speaker 2: started tweeting me saying that we sound exactly the same. Oh, yes,
- 19:26Speaker 2: that's all I got was we sound exactly the same.
- 19:28Speaker 2: And then I saw Deaz last week. Yeah, and he
- 19:30Speaker 2: was like, yeah, I got all these messages that we
- 19:32Speaker 2: sound exactly the same. Well, it's because we're both from
- 19:34Speaker 2: Queen's or he stole my ship.
- 19:37Speaker 3: He does sound like you, but he has a little
- 19:38Speaker 3: bit of that Irish accent.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you can you do the Irish accent? Oh no,
- 19:43Speaker 2: don't try know. Oh that's pretty good. What's mom? It
- 19:46Speaker 2: sounds like more like the mom from Bobby's World.
- 19:48Speaker 3: But we got to mills in front of us.
- 19:49Speaker 4: Yeah, can I say something.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Visual?
- 19:59Speaker 4: Let the record show the one in the green is
- 20:01Speaker 4: the mother of the bill.
- 20:03Speaker 2: You're the best Gred. What is this? This is aliceaid Park.
- 20:06Speaker 2: Do you want to walk through? Yeah, let's do it.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Do you know Veronica Mosey, the great comedian Veronica Mosy.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I've heard the name here, So what are meant? A
- 20:13Speaker 2: couple of Bearridge people out here. We got a couple
- 20:15Speaker 2: of bay Ridge comics. Jordan Carlos, Veronica Mosey lives out here,
- 20:18Speaker 2: Jerry Farrar, Turtle lives out here.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Oh Turtle, Yeah, I like the Turtle from uh Entourage.
- 20:24Speaker 2: Yeah, speaking of Entourage guests who hit me up on
- 20:27Speaker 2: direct message this morning looking to hang out. Fucking Jeremy Piven,
- 20:30Speaker 2: the pivs the PIVE. He does stand up now, No,
- 20:33Speaker 2: hang out with the PIV later on tonight. Fuck the PIV.
- 20:36Speaker 2: He's a good kid, Jeremy Piven.
- 20:38Speaker 3: He's not a kid anymore.
- 20:39Speaker 2: We want to go, well, yeah, we could walk in.
- 20:42Speaker 2: This is all we're going. This is the park, you know.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I take my daughter there, Okay, and then this is
- 20:46Speaker 2: like the park. They actually found a dead body here
- 20:48Speaker 2: beautiful recently. And this park was actually part of the
- 20:52Speaker 2: Battle of Brooklyn. Apparently there's some old Revolutionary War soldiers
- 20:57Speaker 2: from the British and the Americas I buried in this
- 20:58Speaker 2: park somewhere. Well, you do know your history? Yeah, the
- 21:01Speaker 2: history hyenas, say, Ridge Boys presents the history hyenas. Get
- 21:04Speaker 2: it on fucking iTunes and my cast.
- 21:07Speaker 1: I uh, I listened to the POMPEII episode.
- 21:10Speaker 2: What'd you think of it? What'd you think of Pompeii?
- 21:11Speaker 2: I don't think I was a great episode. I liked it.
- 21:14Speaker 2: You liked it? Yeah, I did like it, though.
- 21:15Speaker 1: I like the stuff you were talking about before, uh
- 21:18Speaker 1: you went into the POMPEII stuff. I told you, that's
- 21:20Speaker 1: what I like about history hyenas. You guys do a
- 21:22Speaker 1: little upfront flow around with some shit, what about your
- 21:26Speaker 1: lives and whatnot, and then you finally get into the
- 21:28Speaker 1: history thing.
- 21:29Speaker 2: So you think I like it? You like it? All right? Cool? Cool? Cool? Yeah?
- 21:31Speaker 2: But what but you find different? We're trying different. We
- 21:34Speaker 2: don't have the format, you know, one hundred percent locked
- 21:36Speaker 2: in which we're still in that trial and error period.
- 21:39Speaker 3: That's okay, Yeah, that's a beauty of podcasts.
- 21:41Speaker 1: And like when I started this, I had no idea
- 21:42Speaker 1: what I was doing then, and I sort of know
- 21:44Speaker 1: what I'm doing now.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember. I remember the first time I did it,
- 21:47Speaker 2: you would just wait for me our garbage. I was like,
- 21:49Speaker 2: oh shit, I was like, what the fuck?
- 21:52Speaker 1: People are a little confused by me, Like I was like,
- 21:55Speaker 1: you did you know thirty years at a radio station,
- 21:58Speaker 1: why why don't you want to do this studio because
- 22:01Speaker 1: you just answered your own question, because I did it
- 22:03Speaker 1: for thirty years.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Fuck it.
- 22:04Speaker 1: So I'm just trying to make it up as I
- 22:06Speaker 1: go along a Westwood One's like hinting. They just built
- 22:09Speaker 1: me a really nice studio on forty second Street, So I'm.
- 22:11Speaker 3: Gonna start doing more episodes from there.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Yeah, but I like this.
- 22:14Speaker 3: This is great where we wander around and make shit up.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Walk around fucking ninety five thousand degrees. You got squirrels.
- 22:20Speaker 2: You know what's great about that? We just walked by
- 22:22Speaker 2: the squirrels. We don't give a fuck, right.
- 22:24Speaker 1: I was just talking about this on a past episode
- 22:27Speaker 1: in Central Park. There's so many foreigners in Central Park.
- 22:31Speaker 1: They've never seen squirrels before, so they're amazed by them, right,
- 22:34Speaker 1: And they're taking all sorts of video and pictures and
- 22:36Speaker 1: selfies with squirrels.
- 22:37Speaker 3: And I can't help myself, Chris, as you know.
- 22:39Speaker 1: And I think that's why you're walking me through a
- 22:42Speaker 1: park where I'm not gonna be able to confront anybody,
- 22:44Speaker 1: You son of a bitch. But I'm the guy that
- 22:47Speaker 1: yells at it's a fucking squirrel.
- 22:50Speaker 4: Yeah, But that means they just don't have squirrels from.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Where they're from, right, Oh, you know, we'll find people.
- 22:55Speaker 2: I was just thinking, we'll go down by the water.
- 22:56Speaker 2: I want to show you. I want to show you
- 22:58Speaker 2: the view and show you actually how Bayridges to Manhattan
- 23:01Speaker 2: because people always say, oh, Bay Ridge, it's too far there,
- 23:03Speaker 2: and I'm gonna fucking show you how close it is
- 23:05Speaker 2: to New York City. You show me the view.
- 23:08Speaker 3: This isn't e harmony. We're podcasting.
- 23:10Speaker 2: What dude, Come on, man, you know that I'm going
- 23:12Speaker 2: through a lot. I thought I thought this. We were
- 23:14Speaker 2: hanging out, we met my apartment. What the fuck?
- 23:17Speaker 3: It did?
- 23:17Speaker 2: Start off like like, hey, can I come out? Hey fans?
- 23:22Speaker 1: It was naked, but uh I loved history Hyaenas for real.
- 23:27Speaker 2: I really enjoyed it.
- 23:28Speaker 1: I liked you talking about how you got pulled over
- 23:31Speaker 1: for speeding.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Yeah, and you lied to the judge. I lied to
- 23:34Speaker 2: the fucking judge. That was a great story.
- 23:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:36Speaker 2: And then it doesn't matter because I still and then
- 23:38Speaker 2: I had to pay you know, after that, I had
- 23:40Speaker 2: to I know you did.
- 23:41Speaker 3: This on your podcast, but do it do it on mine?
- 23:43Speaker 2: Fuck it? Let okay, let's roll through this a little bit,
- 23:45Speaker 2: all right, So what happened was is I got caught
- 23:48Speaker 2: speeding over the Manatton Bridge, and I honestly I was
- 23:50Speaker 2: going about seventy in a thirty so like the cop
- 23:52Speaker 2: that very write, you know, so the cop. Then I
- 23:56Speaker 2: was with Giannis. I was actually with Jannis, my my
- 23:59Speaker 2: partner in the History Highs and the second Bay Ridge
- 24:01Speaker 2: boy and and uh do you want to see the
- 24:04Speaker 2: view or do you want to go buy people? Uh? People?
- 24:07Speaker 1: Okay, I mean if I was with my wife, it
- 24:10Speaker 1: looks like a nice little, uh scenic view up there.
- 24:12Speaker 2: I mean, you know, hey, you know I'm a sensitive kid.
- 24:14Speaker 2: That's like, you know, like you think it's gay that
- 24:16Speaker 2: I listened and I remember my friend's birthdays? Wow do
- 24:20Speaker 2: you think that's gay?
- 24:21Speaker 3: Man?
- 24:21Speaker 2: I don't know if that's a gay thing, because I
- 24:24Speaker 2: text him, I don't know.
- 24:25Speaker 4: I don't know, like I don't know birthdays.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Like I just you know, I want to make people
- 24:29Speaker 2: feel special. Like one of my friends, Pete, his birthday
- 24:32Speaker 2: was a couple of days going at twelve oh one am.
- 24:34Speaker 2: I texted him. I was like, hey, what's up, brother,
- 24:36Speaker 2: Just want to be the first person wish you happy birthday.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Have a great day, kid. And then nine hours later,
- 24:40Speaker 2: he wrote back, thanks faggot. It was like, what the fuck?
- 24:44Speaker 3: But how did you spell faggot f.
- 24:45Speaker 2: A G G O T?
- 24:47Speaker 1: He went, ot, Yeah, that's bad, right, yeah, it's if
- 24:51Speaker 1: you put an eye in there instead of the oh,
- 24:52Speaker 1: you would have been all right, yeah, But I was like.
- 24:54Speaker 2: What the fuck? I'm just trying to be just trying
- 24:56Speaker 2: to be a good kid here, right, I gotta get
- 24:58Speaker 2: called gay for that.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Let me anyway, let me say something right now, Happy
- 25:01Speaker 1: belated birthday.
- 25:02Speaker 3: This stuff it all August twenty six.
- 25:06Speaker 2: Thirty four years old. Fucking thirty four years old.
- 25:08Speaker 1: All right, you may have just said it on your
- 25:10Speaker 1: podcast that was listening to on my way to baby,
- 25:13Speaker 1: And the honest is, what's the August twenty fifth?
- 25:15Speaker 2: I guess where we went? Where the Renaissance Fair for
- 25:17Speaker 2: my birthday? I know, are you guys like a couple? No,
- 25:20Speaker 2: but Giannis didn't want to go at all? But I
- 25:22Speaker 2: fucking went. Did you throw the hatchets? Yeah? Yeah, I
- 25:25Speaker 2: fucking nailed it? Did you really? Yeah? I nailed it.
- 25:27Speaker 2: We threw Battle Access and we threw the Stars. I
- 25:30Speaker 2: did the battle axes. I was pretty good at it. Yeah,
- 25:33Speaker 2: I kind of like.
- 25:33Speaker 3: The Renaissance fair.
- 25:34Speaker 2: I love to dude. You know, how about we get
- 25:36Speaker 2: my family together and your family together, we go to
- 25:38Speaker 2: vidieval times. Oh yeah, I'll do that. Yeah, we'll have
- 25:42Speaker 2: Karl over there. Yeah, why not. It'll eat like a
- 25:45Speaker 2: fucking king, and then maybe we'll beheat them. Why would
- 25:48Speaker 2: we want to be head Carl? I'm kidding. These pretty flowers,
- 25:51Speaker 2: they're they're nice.
- 25:52Speaker 3: What kind of flowers you think they are? I don't know.
- 25:55Speaker 4: They're sniffed that one?
- 25:56Speaker 2: No, no, no, does it bere like, don't sniff it up?
- 26:00Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe they're uh, daffodils.
- 26:02Speaker 3: I'm gonna go with daffodils.
- 26:03Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 26:04Speaker 4: And because it's not a visual, I'm just simply right.
- 26:07Speaker 2: You know what we should have did. I should have
- 26:08Speaker 2: gotten and we could have put the video up. Next
- 26:11Speaker 2: time we do it, let's do it, and I'll wear
- 26:12Speaker 2: a go pro helmet.
- 26:13Speaker 3: Yeah that sounds good.
- 26:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and we'll fucking walk around the city. I'll have
- 26:16Speaker 2: a go pro helmet.
- 26:17Speaker 1: They didn't take two and a half hours to get here.
- 26:19Speaker 1: I would have set up a nice video and all
- 26:21Speaker 1: that for us. But I know you're in a rush.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I think you gotta get a haircut.
- 26:24Speaker 2: I gotta get a haircut at eleven thirty and then
- 26:26Speaker 2: pick up my daughter at twelve forty five. Oh geez.
- 26:28Speaker 3: So we don't have time, man, we gotta get this
- 26:30Speaker 3: shit done.
- 26:30Speaker 2: So you got pulled over, okay, Yeah, so I get
- 26:33Speaker 2: pulled over. Yeah, you know, Jannis in the car, I'm speeding.
- 26:36Speaker 2: I get the ticket, and then Giannis is like Gianness
- 26:38Speaker 2: is very much like fuck daft, fuck the system. You
- 26:40Speaker 2: gotta fight that shit. Yeah. So I was like, all right,
- 26:42Speaker 2: fuck it, I'm gonna fight it. So then I showed
- 26:44Speaker 2: up for court a couple of days ago, and everybody.
- 26:47Speaker 2: First of all, everybody is in the same room, like
- 26:50Speaker 2: every I can hear it, Like if you had gotten
- 26:52Speaker 2: a ticket, I can hear the whole case. I can
- 26:55Speaker 2: hear your whole case. I don't even know who you are,
- 26:56Speaker 2: and I can hear you whole case. So I was
- 26:57Speaker 2: listening to what people were doing, yeah, and like how
- 27:00Speaker 2: people were pleading.
- 27:01Speaker 1: And then you smart and so that you get some
- 27:03Speaker 1: knowledge as you get knowledge, right, so it's like, okay,
- 27:05Speaker 1: you got it.
- 27:06Speaker 2: I was like, I noticed that a lot of people
- 27:08Speaker 2: were just saying that they had their kids in the car.
- 27:10Speaker 2: So I was like, okay, this will be great. So
- 27:13Speaker 2: I was like yeah, so but it was, but nobody
- 27:15Speaker 2: was speeding. It was all for like, you know, improper
- 27:18Speaker 2: left turn or party legally or whatever. So mine comes up.
- 27:23Speaker 2: So mine comes up, and he's like, you know, what
- 27:25Speaker 2: did you do? You know, plead your case or whatever whatever,
- 27:27Speaker 2: And I'm like okay, I'm like, well, I'm like I
- 27:31Speaker 2: I he said you were going seventy and a thirty
- 27:34Speaker 2: five wow. And I'm like I'm like, well, first of all,
- 27:37Speaker 2: I I don't know if that's true, I said, because
- 27:40Speaker 2: you know, sometimes those things are inaccurate. He's like, we
- 27:43Speaker 2: righty tidy, righty tighty.
- 27:45Speaker 3: That's a righty tidy move right there?

- 39:31Speaker 1: I'll be honest with you, On nine to eleven, a
- 39:33Speaker 1: lot of people went to that pier and saw the towers.
- 39:35Speaker 5: You think you don't think I know that.
- 39:37Speaker 6: I don't think it too, Are you crazy?
- 39:41Speaker 2: I don't think it was this place.
- 39:45Speaker 6: This is not my place. This is my son's place.
- 39:47Speaker 6: And the kid that owns this place was on the
- 39:48Speaker 6: highway when they came down. Really all right, he went
- 39:51Speaker 6: over the divide because he has.
- 39:52Speaker 3: A big car, and then threw up, and they threw up,
- 39:55Speaker 3: and then.
- 39:56Speaker 6: He started throwing up because he knew.
- 39:58Speaker 7: All right, he knew right way it was an attack.
- 40:01Speaker 7: He didn't think it was an accident. He's just one
- 40:03Speaker 7: of those kind of people that knows.
- 40:04Speaker 5: That stuff, all right.
- 40:06Speaker 6: And he got really sick over.
- 40:07Speaker 7: My other kid watched it from over the BIQUI what's
- 40:11Speaker 7: that the promenade, the promenade and went back to class.
- 40:14Speaker 2: Francis, really, I'll believe all that, all those touching stories,
- 40:17Speaker 2: and he thinks of the conspiracy by the US government, And.
- 40:20Speaker 3: Both of those kids came out of you so very,
- 40:22Speaker 3: very different.
- 40:22Speaker 7: How there was a there was a piece of office
- 40:25Speaker 7: paper in.
- 40:25Speaker 3: My I was five miles away and a piece of
- 40:30Speaker 3: in the backyard.
- 40:31Speaker 6: It was horrifying.
- 40:33Speaker 7: You know, that really hit home because I saw it
- 40:35Speaker 7: on television. And when you see it on television, you know,
- 40:38Speaker 7: you're used to those disaster films and what is this?
- 40:40Speaker 6: Sure all right?
- 40:41Speaker 7: But when the paper was in the pool, that was it.
- 40:44Speaker 5: That was it, and it was very very si he
- 40:47Speaker 5: doesn't think it ever happened.
- 40:48Speaker 1: And with nine eleven right around the corner, this is perfect.
- 40:51Speaker 1: Oh no, it kinda is perfect because we'll never forget.
- 40:54Speaker 1: We'll never forget, right people, I just want he forgot.

- 42:50Speaker 3: gonna walk.
- 42:50Speaker 1: In and go, oh, that's he was with that guy
- 42:52Speaker 1: that he made give a ten dollars tip on a
- 42:54Speaker 1: fucking four dollars exactly.
- 42:56Speaker 2: Why did Because I'm gonna send her a message in
- 42:57Speaker 2: it now and be like, hey, you know great, seeing
- 42:59Speaker 2: you again today. I made Opie give you that ten
- 43:01Speaker 2: bucks because you're the best smoothie maker in Bay Rich
- 43:04Speaker 2: hard eyes. You're gonna go hard eyes?
- 43:07Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 43:07Speaker 3: Why not?
- 43:11Speaker 2: Yeah? Dude? So yeah, all right, So I'm in the
- 43:14Speaker 2: judge I'm in front of the judge and he says
- 43:16Speaker 2: what happened? And I said, well, look, I have my
- 43:18Speaker 2: daughter in the back seat. Trying to get sympathy, I
- 43:20Speaker 2: said to the judge, I said, you can understand as
- 43:22Speaker 2: a father, when you have your child in the seat,
- 43:24Speaker 2: you just want to keep them safe. So he's like, okay,
- 43:27Speaker 2: where's this going. I said, well, what happened was this
- 43:30Speaker 2: is all lie? I said, what happened was there was
- 43:32Speaker 2: an eighteen wheeler Mac truck right next to us on
- 43:34Speaker 2: the Manhattan Bridge, and my daughter in the back seat
- 43:37Speaker 2: was like, Daddy, Daddy, please get us away from the truck.
- 43:39Speaker 2: The truck's a big monster.
- 43:40Speaker 5: Get it away.
- 43:41Speaker 2: I'm scared. So I said, I got a babe, and
- 43:43Speaker 2: I gunned it to seventy beautiful. And I said, when
- 43:46Speaker 2: I gunned it to seventy just to get my daughter
- 43:48Speaker 2: away from danger, that's when the officer must have clocked me.
- 43:52Speaker 2: I said, so, yes, I did commit the crime, but
- 43:55Speaker 2: the reason is, the reason is true. And just I
- 43:57Speaker 2: just want here, We'll go this way. I just wanted
- 43:59Speaker 2: to see girl.
- 44:00Speaker 3: They're still trying to dig up Jimmy Hoffa.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Probably that movie's coming out right yeah, Jimmy Happa movie.
- 44:05Speaker 2: I didn't get a fucking I didn't get an audition.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Fuck that. Sorry about that. So the judge said, he said,
- 44:12Speaker 2: so let me get this straight. He said, in an
- 44:15Speaker 2: effort to protect your daughter, when you are tired or
- 44:19Speaker 2: tired with an eighteen wheeler Mac truck, you decided to
- 44:22Speaker 2: speed up to get past the truck as opposed to
- 44:25Speaker 2: slowing down and letting the truck pass you. And I
- 44:28Speaker 2: said yes. And he said, do you think that's a
- 44:30Speaker 2: good decision as a father to put your daughter in
- 44:33Speaker 2: more danger by increasing the speed? And I was like,
- 44:36Speaker 2: you know, it was just a kind of a game
- 44:37Speaker 2: time decision. You're honor and I just thought that was best.
- 44:40Speaker 6: She goes.
- 44:41Speaker 2: He goes, do I have to call child Protective Services
- 44:43Speaker 2: on you too? Because your game time decisions are a
- 44:45Speaker 2: little shoddy? And it was like and I was like,
- 44:50Speaker 2: you know, you know, I was just talking like it.
- 44:52Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, upon further review in my mind,
- 44:54Speaker 2: I realized that I did, in fact make the wrong choice.
- 44:57Speaker 2: But if I can, you know, just have some leniency
- 45:00Speaker 2: because I can't, you know, to get another ticket right now.
- 45:04Speaker 2: I don't have enough money to pay the ticket. And
- 45:06Speaker 2: then the officers, like a fucking asshole, said, your honor.
- 45:11Speaker 2: I don't think that that's true because the client is
- 45:14Speaker 2: at the defendant is actually a comedian who's on television.
- 45:18Speaker 1: So obviously he knows you're a comedian, and he doesn't
- 45:20Speaker 1: like your comedy.
- 45:21Speaker 2: He doesn't like my comedy, and he had red hair.
- 45:23Speaker 2: You yo, yeah, fucking redhead.
- 45:26Speaker 3: Hey, all right, that's a blonde, a little strawberry blonde.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Right, strawberry blonde.
- 45:31Speaker 3: I got, we'll taste the red in there. I took
- 45:33Speaker 3: that as a little bit of an insult.
- 45:35Speaker 2: So, yeah, so you don't like redheads. No, so not
- 45:38Speaker 2: only did I get, not only did I have to
- 45:39Speaker 2: pay three hundred and fifty bucks, the guy, the judge,
- 45:41Speaker 2: gave me four points, so I basically have to pay
- 45:44Speaker 2: more money to go down there. Wasted my time and
- 45:47Speaker 2: had to pay extra points for giving a stupid answer.
- 45:50Speaker 2: Look at this. This is a revolutionary war cemetery right
- 45:52Speaker 2: here in Beyrich. Are you serious?
- 45:53Speaker 7: What? God?
- 45:54Speaker 2: Look at this revolutionary work. You got people buried in
- 45:56Speaker 2: here from seventeen seventy six. Well, this woman who died
- 45:58Speaker 2: in that battle or buried.
- 45:59Speaker 1: Here, you know, considering you do the podcast History Hyaenas
- 46:02Speaker 1: with Giannis Pappas.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Let me read this.
- 46:04Speaker 1: Yeah, uh, seventeen seventy six to nineteen sixty two.
- 46:06Speaker 3: I don't know what that means. The nineteen sixty two
- 46:08Speaker 3: maybe that's when they put this yere.
- 46:10Speaker 1: That was a long war, revolutionary war cemetery and everlasting
- 46:13Speaker 1: memory to all those that are buried here that are
- 46:16Speaker 1: country be ever free.
- 46:18Speaker 2: That's it. Beautiful, that's it.
- 46:19Speaker 3: But there's not a lot of guys in here.
- 46:21Speaker 2: No, it's really honest, it's really outside.
- 46:25Speaker 3: Why we walking right by his joint?
- 46:26Speaker 2: We're gonna we gotta make the left anyway to get
- 46:28Speaker 2: to the barber shop.
- 46:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd like to talk to Gianna.
- 46:31Speaker 2: Let's talk to honest. Let me call him up.
- 46:33Speaker 1: I'm so happy you've picked the noisiest route to your barbershop.
- 46:37Speaker 2: By the way, you fucking send me a voicemail, A cocker.
- 46:42Speaker 2: That's not good. You know, that's a that's a bad move.
- 46:46Speaker 1: These days, everyone knows when you're being sent to the voicemail.
- 46:49Speaker 3: No one turns their phone off.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Yo you outside, Oh yo, couch, can you come down.
- 46:56Speaker 2: We're gonna come up your block? Can you come out?
- 46:58Speaker 2: Or no? All right? All right, cutes mcgoots come out.
- 47:02Speaker 1: Well, god, wait, I'm gonna meet Giannis. Yeah, you just
- 47:08Speaker 1: gave his address out, so we had to kind of jump.
- 47:10Speaker 2: Forward a little bit.
- 47:11Speaker 1: Yeah, but we're walking by Giannis's place. Obviously, I just
- 47:13Speaker 1: heard you talking on the phone with him and you
- 47:16Speaker 1: had some of that bay Ridge Brooklyn cutesy talk.
- 47:19Speaker 2: Yeah, well that's what we do. If you're a fan
- 47:22Speaker 2: of the bay Ridge Boys at bay Ridge Boys on Instagram,
- 47:24Speaker 2: actually now at History Hyenas Podcast on Instagram, you'll know
- 47:28Speaker 2: the language that we speak. We play a little game
- 47:30Speaker 2: where you know, if you like something or don't like something,
- 47:32Speaker 2: we say, is this cutes or brutes? Right? We say
- 47:36Speaker 2: We say things like perf mcgirth. We call people tbg's
- 47:39Speaker 2: True Blue Gays or TVP's True Blue Psychos. We say
- 47:43Speaker 2: cute a lot, I.
- 47:45Speaker 3: Got one, you say, yeah, just to prove I know
- 47:47Speaker 3: who you guys are.
- 47:48Speaker 2: What's up? Toots? Toots? Yeah, we call prostitutes toots.
- 47:51Speaker 3: See I know.
- 47:52Speaker 5: Yeah, we say toots.
- 47:53Speaker 2: And then we say that Yannis actually wants to be
- 47:56Speaker 2: a male toot. We think Jannis is a little on
- 47:58Speaker 2: the gay side and wants to be transit. But you
- 48:00Speaker 2: know he is who he is.
- 48:01Speaker 3: He really wants to be transgender.
- 48:02Speaker 2: I mean, look at his most famous character, Marisa. He's
- 48:05Speaker 2: dressing up like a Puerto Rican man, Puerto Rican tranning from.
- 48:08Speaker 1: The Lower EASTI on the episode I was listening to
- 48:10Speaker 1: you guys were talking about transphobia and all that, and
- 48:14Speaker 1: and I think Gianna said something pretty brilliant, and he's like,
- 48:17Speaker 1: you can't even say that you're not into dating a
- 48:20Speaker 1: trance because then that makes you transphobia exactly, or transphobia.
- 48:24Speaker 2: I should say, what's interesting world we live in where
- 48:25Speaker 2: Yannis put that video on twenty eleven and it's got
- 48:29Speaker 2: I'm not talking about ninety nine percent. I'm talking about
- 48:31Speaker 2: one hundred percent positive reviews on all those YouTube comments
- 48:34Speaker 2: got like millions of views because people are sort of
- 48:37Speaker 2: it's funny. Not until two months ago when the world changed.
- 48:40Speaker 2: Are people now starting to criticize him for saying, how
- 48:43Speaker 2: could he do a character like that, being a white, straight,
- 48:46Speaker 2: white male right making fun of a transgender Puerto Rican
- 48:49Speaker 2: community that.
- 48:50Speaker 1: It's just completely insane. What's going on with everything with
- 48:54Speaker 1: the PC culture?
- 48:54Speaker 2: What do you think of these buildings? These are limestones?
- 48:56Speaker 3: You likely nice Yeah, do.
- 48:57Speaker 2: You like this neighborhood or not? Right?
- 48:58Speaker 1: I do, but I wish we had some hand lotion
- 49:00Speaker 1: because I'm fucking crying.
- 49:02Speaker 3: Man.
- 49:02Speaker 2: We got like another twenty block walk, is that right?
- 49:04Speaker 6: Yes?
- 49:06Speaker 2: Sad?
- 49:06Speaker 3: Yeah, well you haven't picked the shade yet.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Yeah. All I've done is walking past construction sites. You
- 49:12Speaker 2: you said, hey, I want to come out there, and
- 49:14Speaker 2: I said, oh, don't worry about it. We'll meet all
- 49:15Speaker 2: kinds of people. I've taken you by, no people, Yeah,
- 49:17Speaker 2: I've just taken you by people Chinese people can't speak English,
- 49:20Speaker 2: fixing their bikes and construction sites.
- 49:22Speaker 4: You know what, I'm having the time of my life.
- 49:24Speaker 2: Hey, you know how it is? Perfectd I don't fucking know.
- 49:27Speaker 1: And I liked what you guys said about if your
- 49:29Speaker 1: data a transgender.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Yeah, and they still have the penis. That makes you gay.
- 49:34Speaker 2: That makes you gay, It makes you gay. It is
- 49:36Speaker 2: what it is, and that's okay.
- 49:38Speaker 1: But let's not make believe you're you're Yeah, you're you're
- 49:41Speaker 1: sneaking around and trying to.
- 49:42Speaker 2: Like avoid the gay label.
- 49:44Speaker 1: Yeah, if the if the transgender went through some of
- 49:48Speaker 1: the surgeries and got the boobs and yeah, looking more
- 49:52Speaker 1: and more feminine but still has the penis.
- 49:54Speaker 2: That makes you gay. Gay, But even if it doesn't
- 49:56Speaker 2: have the penis, you were still born a dude. And
- 49:58Speaker 2: it's like to each his own. But it's like, I
- 50:00Speaker 2: don't know, man, Well.
- 50:01Speaker 1: That part is still up for discussion, although I think
- 50:03Speaker 1: the smell would give it away.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Because if the ass pussy still smells like seals like
- 50:07Speaker 2: a man. Yes, But with that said, so I'll okay,
- 50:13Speaker 2: So that's still up for some shade. Thank you.
- 50:16Speaker 3: That's still up for discussion.
- 50:17Speaker 1: But there's no discussing it if the person still has
- 50:21Speaker 1: a penis, right, and she identifies as a woman, but
- 50:25Speaker 1: she still has the penis and you're sucking on that penis,
- 50:27Speaker 1: that you're gay.
- 50:28Speaker 2: You're gay, and that's okay, you're pure gay. Okay, here,
- 50:31Speaker 2: this is his place, so we'll just wait for him
- 50:33Speaker 2: to come out.
- 50:34Speaker 3: Oh, let's go on one minute to get an hair.
- 50:36Speaker 5: Well, we're walking there, so call him and tell him
- 50:40Speaker 5: you're gonna be a little late. No, isn't it a
- 50:45Speaker 5: barber shop?
- 50:45Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 50:46Speaker 3: All right, gre.
- 50:49Speaker 2: Wow, look at this courtyard.
