- 1:01Speaker 1: So guys, if you're anything like me, you've been into
- 1:04Speaker 1: like a CVS or a Walgreens and you see shelves
- 1:07Speaker 1: and aisles filled with vitamins and supplements, you know, and
- 1:11Speaker 1: depending on where you're at in your life, you either
- 1:13Speaker 1: want to take something for fitness and, you know, more
- 1:15Speaker 1: protein or. less protein or whatever it is you're looking
- 1:19Speaker 1: to do, right? Or you're getting up in age and
- 1:22Speaker 1: you want something that you need for bones and density
- 1:25Speaker 1: or you don't get out in the sun as much
- 1:27Speaker 1: and you need some vitamin D.
- 1:29Speaker 2: You know, I don't know.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Everybody has their own reasons. Women who are going through menopause,
- 1:32Speaker 1: women who are trying to get pregnant, all sorts of things,
- 1:35Speaker 1: all sorts of vitamins. So here's the thing. I was thinking,
- 1:39Speaker 1: you know, there are definitely things that I wanted to
- 1:41Speaker 1: start to take vitamins and supplements for in.
- 1:44Speaker 2: My own personal life.
- 1:45Speaker 1: But how do you know to trust the company, whether
- 1:47Speaker 1: or not you get it on Amazon, whether or not
- 1:49Speaker 1: you get it from some very expensive brand? How do
- 1:52Speaker 1: you know what's in the capsules and how do you
- 1:54Speaker 1: know it's really working? And also, how do you know
- 1:55Speaker 1: what you need? So today's episode is about that. It's
- 1:58Speaker 1: about health. I interview a woman. Her name is Steph Coulson.
- 2:01Speaker 1: She's very interesting. And she has started a health brand.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It's called Holistic Goddess. And she sent me some products
- 2:10Speaker 1: so I could try them. And I have to tell
- 2:12Speaker 1: you that I am almost, I feel like my body's
- 2:15Speaker 1: almost craving them because of the effects that I started
- 2:18Speaker 1: to feel. And in as little as a couple of days.
- 2:21Speaker 1: So I ask her all sorts of questions. This is
- 2:23Speaker 1: why I like having access to people like this, because
- 2:25Speaker 1: I was able to ask her questions about, you know,
- 2:27Speaker 1: what's in them? What are they for? What are you
- 2:29Speaker 1: supposed to take them? And then I am sitting with
- 2:31Speaker 1: the CEO. So I, you know, I can trust the answers. Allison,
- 2:35Speaker 1: you were there, you watched the episode. Did you have
- 2:38Speaker 1: any comments or thoughts about it?
- 2:39Speaker 3: Well, everything you're saying about, you know, not knowing what
- 2:42Speaker 3: to take, not knowing what is right for you is
- 2:46Speaker 3: a question I always have. And not just from going
- 2:48Speaker 3: into drugstores, but like anyone else who's on Instagram, you're
- 2:51Speaker 3: scrolling and you're scrolling and everyone that you see is
- 2:55Speaker 3: an influencer trying to sell you some sort of wellness product. method,
- 2:59Speaker 3: some sort of exercise, some sort of supplement. And I
- 3:02Speaker 3: never know what to take, but I always have questions
- 3:05Speaker 3: and I always want to find out more. So I
- 3:06Speaker 3: find myself going down the rabbit hole, but then I
- 3:09Speaker 3: never pull the trigger and I actually never buy anything.
- 3:12Speaker 3: So then I just end up with more questions than
- 3:14Speaker 3: I do answers. So it was so great to listen
- 3:16Speaker 3: to Steph talk about what she found out. And, you know,
- 3:19Speaker 3: also the reason why she got into this is because
- 3:22Speaker 3: she couldn't find the answers. So she wants to put
- 3:26Speaker 3: everything in a place like an Amazon. She talks about this.
- 3:29Speaker 3: where everything about wellness is in one place to take
- 3:31Speaker 3: out all the confusion, which would be great.
- 3:34Speaker 4: Right.
- 3:34Speaker 1: And the other thing is, is if you, you know,
- 3:36Speaker 1: read what's in the news about health these days, people
- 3:39Speaker 1: are getting cancer much earlier. People are getting sicker much earlier. And,
- 3:43Speaker 1: you know, it's scary. And you have to be your
- 3:45Speaker 1: own advocate. You have to have the knowledge to know
- 3:48Speaker 1: what to put in your body and what you are
- 3:50Speaker 1: putting in your body. and what can make you live longer,
- 3:53Speaker 1: live healthier, and feel better. So I really wanted to
- 3:56Speaker 1: do an episode on this, and I was really honored
- 4:00Speaker 1: to have met Steph in person, and I'm really excited
- 4:03Speaker 1: to bring you this conversation.
- 4:05Speaker 2: So please enjoy.
- 4:06Speaker 1: If you want to look up her website, it's holisticgoddess.com.
- 4:11Speaker 1: You can check out the products there, but we go
- 4:13Speaker 1: through all of them so that hopefully something will resonate
- 4:16Speaker 1: with you, and you'll be able to figure out what
- 4:17Speaker 1: might work for you if you're interested. Okay, so please
- 4:21Speaker 1: do me a favor. Also, it's really helpful. Please write
- 4:24Speaker 1: a review if you like it. Give us five stars, hopefully,
- 4:28Speaker 1: if you like it. But it helps with the algorithms.
- 4:31Speaker 1: It helps us to know what you're liking and not liking.
- 4:34Speaker 1: And feel free to always DM us with comments. Let
- 4:38Speaker 1: us know who else you'd like to see on the
- 4:40Speaker 1: show and what other topics you'd like. So anyways, thank
- 4:43Speaker 1: you so much again for listening to all my shows.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I really appreciate it. Each one I put a lot
- 4:48Speaker 1: of thought and effort into. And I know a lot
- 4:51Speaker 1: of you can see that in our work. And I
- 4:54Speaker 1: do appreciate that. And I appreciate you being loyal listeners.
- 4:57Speaker 1: So enjoy my conversation with Steph Coulson. Steph, thanks so
- 5:32Speaker 1: much for joining me here in Boca all the way
- 5:35Speaker 1: from Canada, right? Yes.
- 5:36Speaker 5: Thanks for having me. I'm so excited to be here.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Of course.
- 5:39Speaker 1: I'm really happy to be having this conversation because I
- 5:41Speaker 1: think it's really important.
- 5:43Speaker 5: It is so important.
- 5:43Speaker 1: And I think that, you know, we rarely feature like
- 5:47Speaker 1: an all female company and a topic that really is
- 5:51Speaker 1: important for women to listen to. So I really think
- 5:53Speaker 1: it's so great that you're here and we can have
- 5:56Speaker 1: this conversation.
- 5:57Speaker 2: So thank you.
- 5:57Speaker 5: Thank you for having me.
- 5:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 5:59Speaker 1: So Before we get into your company, why don't you
- 6:01Speaker 1: tell me like how this all started?
- 6:03Speaker 5: Sure. So for me, I'm all about women's health, holistic health.
- 6:08Speaker 5: I've been sort of living that holistic lifestyle for probably
- 6:11Speaker 5: the last 10 years, really heavily, you know, since my
- 6:14Speaker 5: son was born. You really start to question things when
- 6:16Speaker 5: you have a child. Yeah, of course. That's what I found.
- 6:18Speaker 5: And all of a sudden it's like, what's in this shampoo?
- 6:22Speaker 5: What am I putting on my baby? What's in this lotion?
- 6:25Speaker 5: And then it just became kind of a snowball effect
- 6:27Speaker 5: for me. And my focus on women's health really came
- 6:31Speaker 5: when I had my own personal health crisis, health journey,
- 6:35Speaker 5: and had to really dig deep and find tools to
- 6:38Speaker 5: heal myself. And ever since then, which was about five,
- 6:42Speaker 5: six years ago, it's just really been my mission to
- 6:45Speaker 5: help women understand how their bodies work, help them figure
- 6:50Speaker 5: out how to live in a different way if that's
- 6:52Speaker 5: what they're interested in. I think COVID really changed people's
- 6:55Speaker 5: perspective on how they are living, perhaps what they're doing
- 7:00Speaker 5: with their bodies, what they're eating. It's just, it's a
- 7:03Speaker 5: different world. And if you're into that, then we've got
- 7:06Speaker 5: a spot for you. Right.
- 7:07Speaker 1: So, Just a little bit of your background, though. You
- 7:10Speaker 1: grew up, you were from, you were born in Canada?
- 7:12Speaker 5: Yes.
- 7:12Speaker 1: And your family, like, did you grow up vegan? Did
- 7:14Speaker 1: you grow up concerned about health in general?
- 7:17Speaker 5: No, I grew up as a normal child in the,
- 7:19Speaker 5: you know, 80s and 90s.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Ate everything.
- 7:22Speaker 5: Yeah, literally.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Yeah, weren't concerned too much about what you were putting
- 7:26Speaker 1: in your body.
- 7:27Speaker 2: No, no. Like everyone else.
- 7:28Speaker 5: It wasn't until I hit about 20 that I started
- 7:30Speaker 5: really paying attention to things like organic food and what
- 7:34Speaker 5: kind of toothpaste I was using. But before that, not
- 7:37Speaker 5: at all.
- 7:38Speaker 6: Okay.
- 7:38Speaker 1: And so you mentioned that something happened to you and
- 7:40Speaker 1: you had your own, you know, sort of issues a
- 7:42Speaker 1: couple of years ago.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Can you talk a little more about what that was?
- 7:45Speaker 5: Yeah. My hormones entirely fell apart after my daughter was born.
- 7:49Speaker 5: And I actually went into menopause at the age of 28. Wow.
- 7:52Speaker 5: Which was pretty brutal. So I actually had the hormonal
- 7:55Speaker 5: levels of a 65 year old woman. I had all
- 7:58Speaker 5: of the symptoms of menopause.
- 7:59Speaker 2: How do they test you for that?
- 8:01Speaker 5: You can get your hormone levels tested.
- 8:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 8:03Speaker 5: There's blood tests. There's a few different tests. I was
- 8:05Speaker 5: doing like blood hormone tests. And then the Dutch test
- 8:08Speaker 5: is a pretty comprehensive test for hormone health. And I
- 8:13Speaker 5: had all the symptoms of menopause and it was really brutal.
- 8:17Speaker 1: And what made you realize that this was hormonal? Like,
- 8:20Speaker 1: cause I, and I'll tell you after, but you know,
- 8:22Speaker 1: I had a similar experience, but it took me a
- 8:24Speaker 1: while on this like journey to figure out I needed
- 8:27Speaker 1: to go get my hormones.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Tested.
- 8:29Speaker 1: I thought I was sick. I thought I was, you know,
- 8:31Speaker 1: I thought all these different things were happening to me.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I couldn't figure it out. I couldn't lose the weight.
- 8:35Speaker 1: To me, that was like the first marker that something
- 8:38Speaker 1: was wrong. Cause I, I gained 25 pounds and I thought, well,
- 8:41Speaker 1: it should be easier to lose this. I was never
- 8:43Speaker 1: overweight to begin with. So that started to be the
- 8:46Speaker 1: indicator for me. But then I felt really lethargic.
- 8:49Speaker 2: I had headaches.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I just kind of felt sick all the time and
- 8:52Speaker 1: I couldn't get it together. You know, and and even
- 8:55Speaker 1: when I tried things, changing my food, walking more, whatever
- 8:59Speaker 1: it was, it was not adjusting my weight. And I mean,
- 9:02Speaker 1: I'll be honest, like that's all I cared about in
- 9:04Speaker 1: my head of like my physical body at the time.
- 9:07Speaker 1: And and then I was like, wait a minute, but
- 9:09Speaker 1: I don't feel well also. So that's when it took
- 9:12Speaker 1: me to the doctor. But continue with like.
- 9:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:14Speaker 5: Well, for me, I bled for eight months after my
- 9:17Speaker 5: daughter was born. Oh, wow. That's really unusual.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Unusual.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:22Speaker 5: And my ferritin and iron levels, I had a ferritin
- 9:24Speaker 5: level of four.
- 9:25Speaker 2: What's ferritin?
- 9:26Speaker 5: Ferritin is your iron stores in your body. They should
- 9:30Speaker 5: be in the seventies.
- 9:31Speaker 6: Wow.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:32Speaker 5: So I was really not doing great and it was okay.
- 9:36Speaker 5: I bled for eight months now. Like there's obviously a
- 9:38Speaker 5: problem here that I started really, you know, trying to
- 9:41Speaker 5: figure it out. And my gyno was saying, well, it's fine.
- 9:44Speaker 5: It'll go away or you can have an IUD or
- 9:46Speaker 5: we can give you an ablation or, You know, if
- 9:48Speaker 5: you really want to, we can just take your uterus out.
- 9:50Speaker 5: I'm like, well, I'm 28. That's probably not going to happen.
- 9:54Speaker 5: So it was working with a naturopath, doing a lot
- 9:57Speaker 5: of self-learning, reading lots of books. reading um lots of
- 10:01Speaker 5: stories about what other women have gone through that really
- 10:04Speaker 5: helped me to not feel alone and feel like okay
- 10:07Speaker 5: I can.
- 10:09Speaker 4: They think you're done for the day but they don't
- 10:12Speaker 4: know about the drawer the drawer just.
- 10:16Speaker 7: The one square before bed Or two, you know. Nobody's watching.
- 10:24Speaker 7: You deserve a treat.
- 10:28Speaker 4: With eight flavors to choose from, you can choose the
- 10:31Speaker 4: flavor you favor with Cadbury Dairy Milk. I can.
- 10:39Speaker 5: Probably fix this. I can probably figure this out. I
- 10:41Speaker 5: can try supplements. I can try different, like, biohacking things.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Right.
- 10:45Speaker 5: To try and figure out how I can balance this
- 10:47Speaker 5: back out.
- 10:48Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 10:49Speaker 5: And within like two years, completely fine, completely normal. Still
- 10:53Speaker 5: have my uterus.
- 10:54Speaker 4: Wow.
- 10:55Speaker 2: Amazing. Congratulations. So, all right.
- 10:58Speaker 1: So at what point were you like, wait, now I
- 11:00Speaker 1: want to help others. I want to start a company.
- 11:04Speaker 5: It was like a year ago that I just had this,
- 11:08Speaker 5: you know, one of those moments where everything lines up
- 11:10Speaker 5: for you and the universe is clearly pushing you in
- 11:13Speaker 5: a direction and you can't say no.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Right.
- 11:16Speaker 5: And so here we are.
- 11:17Speaker 2: And I'm curious what you did for work up until
- 11:19Speaker 2: this point.
- 11:20Speaker 5: I was a mom.
- 11:21Speaker 2: You were a mom. Okay.
- 11:22Speaker 1: So even before that, you had, did you have like,
- 11:25Speaker 1: were you into marketing? Were you into anything that, because
- 11:29Speaker 1: obviously you're very good at this and this is your, your,
- 11:32Speaker 1: your ideas for this were really interesting. So did you
- 11:34Speaker 1: have any entrepreneurial, you know, ideas when you were young?
- 11:38Speaker 5: I did. Well, my husband's an entrepreneur, so I've been,
- 11:40Speaker 5: you know, living with him for 16 years and helping
- 11:44Speaker 5: him with all of his creative ideas and things that
- 11:46Speaker 5: he brings into this world. So I've been around that
- 11:49Speaker 5: for a really long time. And as a mom, I
- 11:51Speaker 5: dabbled in things. I did essential oils, got certification, made
- 11:55Speaker 5: all kinds of different essential oil products, went to farmer's markets,
- 11:58Speaker 5: had a website, got products in health food stores. So
- 12:01Speaker 5: I've done this. This is just on a much bigger scale,
- 12:04Speaker 5: but I just have felt the universe calling me to
- 12:07Speaker 5: connect women, right? This is the time in the world
- 12:09Speaker 5: when women need to connect, share stories, Feel that you're
- 12:13Speaker 5: not alone because this is something that women don't talk about.
- 12:16Speaker 5: We just suffer in silence, I feel like, a lot
- 12:20Speaker 5: of the time. And just by talking about your story,
- 12:23Speaker 5: it makes such a huge impact.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Okay, so let's talk about then how the idea was born.
- 12:30Speaker 1: The name is Holistic Goddess. Where'd you come up with
- 12:33Speaker 1: that gorgeous name?
- 12:34Speaker 5: Well, holistic, obviously, holistic health. And I really believe that
- 12:37Speaker 5: every woman is a goddess. It doesn't matter what you
- 12:40Speaker 5: look like, how old you are, where you come from.
- 12:43Speaker 5: You are a goddess. You are born with that divine
- 12:46Speaker 5: feminine spark. And you might not feel it, but it
- 12:49Speaker 5: is there. And the self-love discovery of finding it and
- 12:53Speaker 5: really being comfortable with who you are, being comfortable in
- 12:56Speaker 5: your skin, I mean, that's a journey that every woman
- 12:59Speaker 5: goes through at some point.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Yeah, 100%.
- 13:01Speaker 1: So, all right, what was the very first product that
- 13:05Speaker 1: you guys made?
- 13:06Speaker 5: So we made our signature supplement first. So those are
- 13:10Speaker 5: supplements that are for every woman. So we have a multivitamin, Primora.
- 13:15Speaker 5: We have a metabolism booster, which I love. It's Metaradiance.
- 13:19Speaker 5: I can show you. Yeah.
- 13:21Speaker 2: Let's go through them.
- 13:21Speaker 5: Yeah. So the Metaradiance one I really, really love because
- 13:25Speaker 5: it is just spices. Essentially.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Oh, OK.
- 13:29Speaker 5: It's like what you're going to find in your cupboard.
- 13:31Speaker 5: But I promise you, you're not going to take them. Yeah.
- 13:33Speaker 5: And just eat them. Right. You're just not. You're not.
- 13:35Speaker 5: But we all sometimes need a metabolism boost, especially as
- 13:38Speaker 5: you get older. I mean, as soon as I hit
- 13:41Speaker 5: my 30s, I'm like, OK, my metabolism slowing down. But
- 13:44Speaker 5: most metabolism boosters have caffeine in them. OK. And you
- 13:47Speaker 5: don't necessarily want that. Right. Because it's not great and
- 13:50Speaker 5: it gives you the jitters and you get a crash afterwards.
- 13:53Speaker 5: So this one is cinnamon, garlic, black pepper, cardamom, and
- 13:57Speaker 5: cayenne pepper. Okay. Those are all things that pretty much
- 14:00Speaker 5: everyone's familiar with.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Yes, for sure.
- 14:02Speaker 5: That you get at the grocery store, but it's in
- 14:05Speaker 5: a capsule you can throw in your purse.
- 14:06Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:07Speaker 5: Very easy. I'm all about making wellness easy and accessible
- 14:11Speaker 5: because it doesn't have to be complicated. And when you're
- 14:14Speaker 5: entering a holistic world and you're learning about these things
- 14:17Speaker 5: for the first time, it can be very overwhelming.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Right. Well, that was actually what I was going to
- 14:21Speaker 1: ask you. What would you say is the difference between
- 14:23Speaker 1: holistic medicine or supplements as opposed to, you know, the everyday,
- 14:29Speaker 1: you know, medicines that you can get? And can you
- 14:33Speaker 1: really see a difference? I think a lot of people's
- 14:36Speaker 1: fear or maybe the stigma that goes with some sort
- 14:39Speaker 1: of supplements is that, well, number one, there's a ton
- 14:41Speaker 1: of them. You never know which ones to buy, but
- 14:43Speaker 1: also do they really work? We don't know what's in them.
- 14:45Speaker 1: I mean, you're reading what's in it, but like you know,
- 14:48Speaker 1: unless you're somebody that really spends time maybe Googling each one,
- 14:51Speaker 1: we don't really know, you know, I don't know what
- 14:53Speaker 1: half those things do. And so what is the difference
- 14:56Speaker 1: between going in and like when I went to my
- 14:58Speaker 1: doctor to go back to my story, he said I
- 15:01Speaker 1: had a bunch of hormonal issues, something wrong with my cortisol,
- 15:04Speaker 1: I don't know, gave me, you know, some pills, gave
- 15:06Speaker 1: me some shots, gave me a testosterone pellet or something.
- 15:10Speaker 1: And Um, you know, it worked to some degree, I guess,
- 15:14Speaker 1: but you know, it was, I was in San Francisco.
- 15:16Speaker 2: It was an hour and a half drive to get there.
- 15:17Speaker 2: I never went back.
- 15:18Speaker 1: So I took the stuff once and eventually it all
- 15:21Speaker 1: worked out, but you know, he didn't give me any
- 15:24Speaker 1: options for things like this.
- 15:25Speaker 2: So what would you say is the difference?
- 15:27Speaker 5: Well, it's first of all, who you're talking to. So
- 15:30Speaker 5: like a traditional like dino or Western medicine doctor is
- 15:34Speaker 5: not going to really talk to you about supplements. They're
- 15:37Speaker 5: just not, they, their nutrition education in general is like
- 15:41Speaker 5: six hours yeah that's it right so you have to
- 15:45Speaker 5: go to somebody who this is all they do so
- 15:47Speaker 5: whether you're only trying to focus on nutrition then you
- 15:49Speaker 5: go to a nutritionist you go to a holistic nutritionist
- 15:51Speaker 5: who's going to talk to you only about food and
- 15:53Speaker 5: they've done a two-year course to get certified to talk
- 15:57Speaker 5: to you about that as opposed to a doctor who
- 16:00Speaker 5: of course is specialized in medicine it's just a completely
- 16:02Speaker 5: different avenue and it's all about what works for you
- 16:05Speaker 5: i mean if that works for you go for it
- 16:06Speaker 5: right well it's it.
- 16:07Speaker 1: Maybe it's about what works for you but also i
- 16:09Speaker 1: think it's about a lot of people don't know the difference, right?
- 16:13Speaker 1: Or they don't know what they're asking for. So if
- 16:14Speaker 1: you feel sick, you go to a doctor because you
- 16:16Speaker 1: don't know where else you're going, right? Or that's what's,
- 16:18Speaker 1: you know, your insurance pays for. And they say, you know,
- 16:21Speaker 1: they get all your symptoms and they're like, well, you
- 16:24Speaker 1: don't have a bacterial infection, but I can give you
- 16:26Speaker 1: an antibiotic.
- 16:28Speaker 2: You know, I think a lot of people, a majority
- 16:30Speaker 2: of people.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Just are like, okay, you know, so I kind of
- 16:34Speaker 1: want to get to the idea of like, maybe there
- 16:36Speaker 1: are other options.
- 16:37Speaker 5: There absolutely are other options, but you have to be
- 16:40Speaker 5: willing to first search them out. Second, learn about them
- 16:43Speaker 5: yourself because nobody else is going to teach you.
- 16:45Speaker 6: Okay.
- 16:45Speaker 5: So education. But that's bringing wellness into your own hands.
- 16:48Speaker 5: If you really want to get well and you don't
- 16:49Speaker 5: want to just take a pill and you want it
- 16:51Speaker 5: to be sustainable. I mean, there's a certain amount of
- 16:54Speaker 5: power that comes in that, but you also have to
- 16:56Speaker 5: be willing to do it. Yes.
- 16:57Speaker 6: Right.
- 16:57Speaker 5: It takes work. It's hard work. I could have easily
- 16:59Speaker 5: just had my uterus taken out and it would have
- 17:02Speaker 5: been a quick fix.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Right.
- 17:04Speaker 5: But I also didn't want that and I wasn't willing
- 17:06Speaker 5: to do that.
- 17:06Speaker 1: So you educated yourself and you found other ways.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Yeah, because it didn't feel in alignment to me.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:12Speaker 5: And I have the power to choose what happens to
- 17:14Speaker 5: my body. Of course. So then, you know, you just
- 17:17Speaker 5: need to do what feels right for you. Right. So
- 17:19Speaker 5: there are lots of options, you know, naturopaths, nutritionists. There's
- 17:23Speaker 5: tons of options. So what we aim to create is
- 17:25Speaker 5: this space where you can learn great factual information. Mm-hmm.
- 17:30Speaker 5: You can explore supplements that we have to offer, and
- 17:32Speaker 5: it's not just supplements either. We have this entire trusted
- 17:35Speaker 5: brand marketplace. Like you said, you don't know what's in stuff.
- 17:38Speaker 5: 100% you don't. You can buy a vitamin C by
- 17:42Speaker 5: a no-name brand on Amazon, and you can send it
- 17:44Speaker 5: off for testing, and there's no vitamin C in it.
- 17:47Speaker 4: Right.
- 17:47Speaker 1: So I think that's really important for our listeners to hear.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Like there are a ton of options. You know, you
- 17:52Speaker 1: go into CVS, there's rows of options of supplements, vitamins, pills,
- 17:57Speaker 1: and you know, you think you need vitamin D, B,
- 18:00Speaker 1: whatever it is. And you just grab these, you know,
- 18:04Speaker 1: containers and, you know, at the end of the day,
- 18:06Speaker 1: you can have seven in your cart and then you're
- 18:09Speaker 1: taking all these different pills and you don't even.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Really know why. It's just that somebody recommended it.
- 18:13Speaker 1: So I want to finish going through like what you're Well,
- 18:18Speaker 1: actually first to finish that thought, like what are the
- 18:21Speaker 1: main things, and maybe it's things that you have, that
- 18:23Speaker 1: people need to take every day? Because again, I think
- 18:26Speaker 1: that we've been educated, you know, the average American has
- 18:28Speaker 1: been educated that you take a multivitamin and then maybe
- 18:32Speaker 1: you take a few other things if you're older, if
- 18:34Speaker 1: you're going through menopause, or if you're trying to have
- 18:36Speaker 1: a baby, there's other different ways.
- 18:38Speaker 2: So talk to me about what you think is important
- 18:40Speaker 2: to be taking.
- 18:41Speaker 5: I can tell you what I take because that's what's
- 18:43Speaker 5: important to me. So everybody, of course, is different. What
- 18:45Speaker 5: you take, what your goals are, what you're looking to
- 18:48Speaker 5: deal with within your body. Maybe you're very tired all
- 18:50Speaker 5: the time. Maybe you have brain fog all the time.
- 18:52Speaker 5: Everybody's goal is different. For me personally, I know you
- 18:56Speaker 5: have taken the bison.
- 18:57Speaker 2: I love it.
- 18:58Speaker 5: You're liking it. I'm so happy about that. So this
- 19:00Speaker 5: one is one of our favorite best-selling products. This one
- 19:03Speaker 5: is the liver. We also have a trifecta, which I think.
- 19:06Speaker 6: Is in this. Yep.
- 19:07Speaker 5: Beautiful box.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Beautiful box that it comes in.
- 19:09Speaker 5: Yeah. This is the one you've been taking, right?
- 19:11Speaker 2: And so explain, first of all, explain the difference.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Okay.
- 19:14Speaker 5: So the trifecta is kidney, liver, and heart. You take
- 19:20Speaker 5: six capsules. It's just the organs.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Okay.
- 19:23Speaker 5: That's it.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Why are organs important?
- 19:25Speaker 5: Organs are important. It's that ancestral nutrition thing. So they are,
- 19:31Speaker 5: so the easiest way to do this is to start
- 19:32Speaker 5: with beef liver.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 19:34Speaker 5: In terms of the education process. Because most people... Some
- 19:38Speaker 5: people are familiar with beef liver. So I personally was
- 19:41Speaker 5: put on beef liver by my naturopath to deal with
- 19:43Speaker 5: the ferritin issues that I told you about. Low iron,
- 19:46Speaker 5: very tired, hormonal imbalance.
- 19:50Speaker 4: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 19:53Speaker 4: know about the drawer. The drawer.
- 19:57Speaker 7: Just the one square before bed. Or two, you know.
- 20:03Speaker 7: Nobody's watching. You deserve a treat.
- 20:09Speaker 4: With eight flavors to choose from, you can choose the
- 20:12Speaker 4: flavor you favor with Cadbury Dairy Milk.
- 20:15Speaker 5: Cadbury is very good for hormone balance, collagen support, which
- 20:23Speaker 5: is not just about collagen, right?
- 20:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:25Speaker 5: Like we think about, right? That's joints, too. Okay. Hair, skin, nails, obviously,
- 20:30Speaker 5: as well.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Yep.
- 20:31Speaker 5: And there's extreme hormonal support that comes from liver. So
- 20:35Speaker 5: I took that until we found this company that creates
- 20:38Speaker 5: this product for us. Okay. And it's a family business.
- 20:42Speaker 5: And it is bison liver. Now, the reason that's better
- 20:46Speaker 5: is because a cow that has an organic certification.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Can still get.
- 20:51Speaker 5: Can still get up to 17 vaccinations.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:54Speaker 2: I did know that. That's crazy.
- 20:56Speaker 5: It's crazy.
- 20:56Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:57Speaker 5: A bison cannot. So the bison have no GMOs. no antibiotics,
- 21:02Speaker 5: no hormones, no steroids, no vaccine. Right. They're completely clean.
- 21:06Speaker 5: They're just like living their life on the prairie.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 21:09Speaker 5: Until they're not. And the entire animal is used. And
- 21:13Speaker 5: then the organs are harvested and obviously very like humane
- 21:16Speaker 5: and safe way. Um, and it creates these amazing supplements
- 21:20Speaker 5: that I have taken them side by side. Cause I
- 21:23Speaker 5: was so curious, like, is this really great? No, it
- 21:25Speaker 5: is great. It's like super charged, clean energy, um, no
- 21:30Speaker 5: brain fog, hormonal support. I have the easiest periods I've
- 21:34Speaker 5: ever had in my life. They're like three days and
- 21:36Speaker 5: there's no cramping. Yeah.
- 21:38Speaker 2: So it's crazy.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I've taken it for not very long yet, but I
- 21:42Speaker 1: will tell you that maybe, I don't know, three, four, well,
- 21:45Speaker 1: first of all, let me start with the capsules. What
- 21:47Speaker 1: I was impressed about is that they're, you take like six,
- 21:50Speaker 1: I take six and they're, they're small. So sometimes when
- 21:54Speaker 1: you're given these capsules, they're big, it's hard to swallow.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Um, They were super easy. That was the first thing
- 21:59Speaker 2: I noticed about it.
- 22:01Speaker 1: Then like, you know, three days in, I really could,
- 22:07Speaker 1: I was like, wait a minute, I'm actually feeling different.
- 22:10Speaker 2: So I have a hard time sleeping.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I noticed that I felt like I could fall asleep
- 22:15Speaker 1: easier and I felt like I was having some more energy.
- 22:18Speaker 1: I get really tired around like four or five o'clock and.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Like could literally fall asleep.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Sometimes, you know, and feel like I want to go
- 22:26Speaker 1: to sleep for the night because I'm so tired and
- 22:28Speaker 1: like it'll get I'll get through it. And then for
- 22:30Speaker 1: some reason, I'm up to like one or two in
- 22:32Speaker 1: the morning.
- 22:32Speaker 2: It's terrible.
- 22:33Speaker 1: So since in the last like three days, I will
- 22:36Speaker 1: tell you, like, I haven't had that. And that's and
- 22:38Speaker 1: I'm really busy and I'm doing a lot of things and.
- 22:41Speaker 1: you know, I have like hay fever and like just
- 22:43Speaker 1: all these things that normally are going on with me.
- 22:46Speaker 2: And I haven't felt that.
- 22:47Speaker 5: I will say I have had no hay fever or
- 22:50Speaker 5: allergy symptoms at all this year. And I'm really bad
- 22:53Speaker 5: with that normally.
- 22:54Speaker 6: Right.
- 22:54Speaker 1: And I was just saying when I was in here
- 22:56Speaker 1: a week ago, my eyes were running, my nose was,
- 22:59Speaker 1: you know, it was like a thing. So I believe
- 23:03Speaker 1: that it is from that because it's the only thing
- 23:05Speaker 1: that I'm doing differently.
- 23:06Speaker 2: And I think that's kind of amazing. So I can't wait.
- 23:07Speaker 5: It is amazing.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I can't wait to see having used it now for,
- 23:11Speaker 1: you know, if after I get to in a couple
- 23:14Speaker 1: of weeks into it, you know what I really feel.
- 23:16Speaker 1: And I've been telling people about it and they're like, oh, wow,
- 23:18Speaker 1: that's interesting.
- 23:19Speaker 2: But no one knows.
- 23:20Speaker 5: So random. No, nobody knows. And so I'm just here
- 23:23Speaker 5: shouting from the rooftops like, oh, my God.
- 23:24Speaker 4: Yes.
- 23:24Speaker 5: Take bison. It will change.
- 23:26Speaker 1: It is a different level of communication because people are like,
- 23:30Speaker 1: wait a minute.
- 23:30Speaker 2: I've never heard that.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Maybe I've had a bison burger once in a while.
- 23:33Speaker 1: You know, like that's how bison will come up in
- 23:35Speaker 1: a conversation. But they're like, but what does that do?
- 23:38Speaker 2: You know?
- 23:38Speaker 3: Yes.
- 23:39Speaker 5: And the answer is it does kind of everything depending
- 23:41Speaker 5: on what your personal vulnerabilities and weaknesses are within your body. Yes.
- 23:45Speaker 5: So everybody notices something different. I have a friend who's
- 23:49Speaker 5: taken the trifecta and she's perimenopausal.
- 23:52Speaker 2: Okay. Which I am too.
- 23:53Speaker 5: Yeah. Her cycles were 24 days. an entire cycle. That's
- 23:59Speaker 5: pretty short.
- 24:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:00Speaker 5: So she's like having a lot of periods and she
- 24:03Speaker 5: took it for a month and her cycle lengthened to
- 24:06Speaker 5: a full 28 days. Okay. So she's like, okay, if
- 24:09Speaker 5: this keeps going for me, that's two less periods this year.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 24:13Speaker 5: That's a really massive shift.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:16Speaker 2: That's great.
- 24:17Speaker 5: That's huge. That's huge for, for everything, for the entire
- 24:21Speaker 5: hormonal cycle that we go through. It's very taxing on
- 24:23Speaker 5: your body. Yeah, it really is. And that's something that
- 24:25Speaker 5: we talk a lot about is, living with your cycle,
- 24:28Speaker 5: being in tune with your cycle. We have such a go, go, go.
- 24:32Speaker 5: I mean, our world was set up for men, right?
- 24:34Speaker 5: The men's testosterone cycle goes throughout the 24 hour period
- 24:37Speaker 5: with the peak in the morning. And then it goes
- 24:39Speaker 5: up to lunchtime and then it starts to taper off
- 24:41Speaker 5: in the evening.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't even know that.
- 24:43Speaker 5: Ours is 28 days long. It takes 28 days to
- 24:46Speaker 5: go or longer or shorter, depending on the woman, right?
- 24:48Speaker 5: Everybody's different to go through that entire cycle. So we have,
- 24:53Speaker 5: you know, the, you know, post period, you go up
- 24:57Speaker 5: and then you ovulate and then you start to come
- 24:59Speaker 5: back down again.
- 24:59Speaker 6: Right.
- 25:00Speaker 5: So if you can intentionally know that about your body, right,
- 25:04Speaker 5: it happens to all of us.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 25:06Speaker 5: People aren't talking about it. We're not being educated about it.
- 25:08Speaker 2: The way that we were. Well, that was educational because
- 25:09Speaker 2: I didn't know that.
- 25:10Speaker 5: When our grandmothers or possibly great grandmothers were, you know,
- 25:15Speaker 5: teaching us about these things, we just, we haven't been taught. Yeah.
- 25:18Speaker 5: And then you can plan. Hey, I'm like in my...
- 25:22Speaker 5: follicular phase. I feel like I could climb a mountain.
- 25:24Speaker 5: I could run a marathon. So I'm going to plan
- 25:27Speaker 5: all of my major projects for these two weeks of
- 25:31Speaker 5: my cycle. Oh, genius. And then after when I know
- 25:35Speaker 5: I'm tired and I just want to be like a
- 25:37Speaker 5: blanket burrito on the couch and I just want to
- 25:39Speaker 5: eat all the snacks, then I'm going to be intentionally
- 25:42Speaker 5: having self-care appointments, going to the spa, getting my nails done,
- 25:46Speaker 5: doing things that are for me because I know that
- 25:49Speaker 5: that's what my body needs because I need to slow
- 25:51Speaker 5: down during.
- 25:52Speaker 1: So in doing all this research, I'm curious, because I
- 25:54Speaker 1: think for the people that I know, we would always
- 25:58Speaker 1: be told or say that, oh, it's kind of in
- 26:00Speaker 1: our heads, this whole hormonal shift, like during your period,
- 26:03Speaker 1: you feel a certain way before and after. Is it true, though,
- 26:07Speaker 1: like what you're saying, that people actually have these phases
- 26:10Speaker 1: they go through and it's a physical.
- 26:11Speaker 2: We do, but we're.
- 26:12Speaker 5: Conditioned to live in this very busy society where we
- 26:15Speaker 5: don't pay attention to it.
- 26:16Speaker 4: Right.
- 26:16Speaker 5: And you're doing your body a disservice by doing that. Right.
- 26:19Speaker 2: So you should really listen to your body.
- 26:20Speaker 5: And honestly, of course, of course. And it's literally just
- 26:24Speaker 5: the intention. That's all you need. Being aware of it
- 26:29Speaker 5: is enough to make a massive shift in your world.
- 26:31Speaker 5: I promise.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Wow. OK, well, I like hearing that because I'm not
- 26:35Speaker 1: the person that's like, oh, I have my period. I'm
- 26:38Speaker 1: going to slow down or what I do. I don't
- 26:40Speaker 1: believe in that kind of I'm like, well. my stomach hurts,
- 26:43Speaker 1: big deal, I'll take a Midol and like move on,
- 26:45Speaker 1: you know, because I don't have time for this.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, I think there's a difference between letting
- 26:48Speaker 5: it stop you in your tracks because it doesn't need to.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Right, but also.
- 26:51Speaker 5: But also having that mindfulness of, you know what, I'm
- 26:54Speaker 5: not going to stay up super late tonight because my
- 26:55Speaker 5: body actually needs the rest.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Right.
- 26:57Speaker 5: Or like intermittent fasting. There's a doctor, Dr. Mindy Peltz,
- 27:01Speaker 5: she wrote an entire book about fasting for women. So
- 27:03Speaker 5: fasting's really popular. People love that. I personally do it too.
- 27:07Speaker 5: I don't eat between the hours of 6 p.m. and
- 27:09Speaker 5: 10 a.m. But when I'm just about on my period
- 27:13Speaker 5: and on my period, I don't go longer than 12
- 27:15Speaker 5: hours without eating because it takes so much energy in
- 27:19Speaker 5: your body to be in that state. You're actually robbing
- 27:23Speaker 5: yourself if you go too far. And she talks a
- 27:25Speaker 5: lot about that in her book.
- 27:27Speaker 2: But that's really interesting.
- 27:28Speaker 1: I also think it's great that, you know, because there
- 27:31Speaker 1: are so many times when I feel like, oh God,
- 27:34Speaker 1: I don't want to do this or I'm feeling a
- 27:36Speaker 1: little more depressed. And then I kind of get in
- 27:38Speaker 1: my head about it. Like, wrong with me that I
- 27:41Speaker 1: can't you know get myself together and go do these
- 27:43Speaker 1: things or I don't feel like I want to do
- 27:45Speaker 1: these things and I think if women take the time
- 27:48Speaker 1: to be like well wait that's okay like be in
- 27:50Speaker 1: that moment stay home you don't have to go out
- 27:53Speaker 1: you don't have to do these things that are asked
- 27:55Speaker 1: of you when you're going through these hormonal changes because
- 27:58Speaker 1: they're real and you should honor them, sort of.
- 28:00Speaker 5: You should absolutely honor them. And then we should teach
- 28:02Speaker 5: our daughters the same, right? And so a lot of
- 28:04Speaker 5: that for me, my daughter's six. Obviously, she's not there
- 28:07Speaker 5: yet in her own body, but I'm modeling that behavior
- 28:09Speaker 5: for her.
- 28:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:10Speaker 5: That it's okay to intentionally slow down. It's okay to
- 28:13Speaker 5: be like, I'm going to have a bath tonight or
- 28:15Speaker 5: I'm not going to do a big workout at the gym.
- 28:18Speaker 5: I'm going to do yoga today.
- 28:19Speaker 6: Yes.
- 28:19Speaker 4: Right?
- 28:19Speaker 5: Just really... honor my body at where it's at, depending
- 28:23Speaker 5: on the time of the month, and then show that
- 28:25Speaker 5: to her so that she doesn't get caught in this
- 28:27Speaker 5: rat race lifestyle that we're living.
- 28:28Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 28:29Speaker 5: Because there's all kinds of modern conveniences, which are great.
- 28:33Speaker 5: But if you can also intentionally live in a way
- 28:36Speaker 5: that you're not stressing out your body, we're all living
- 28:38Speaker 5: in this state of high cortisol fight or flight in,
- 28:42Speaker 5: in this, in North America. Yeah. It's just the way
- 28:44Speaker 5: it is.
- 28:44Speaker 3: I agree.
- 28:45Speaker 6: Okay.
- 28:46Speaker 1: So if someone is going on your site and they're
- 28:48Speaker 1: looking at these two options for the bison, it's bison
- 28:50Speaker 1: trifecta and liver.
- 28:52Speaker 6: Okay.
- 28:52Speaker 1: But if they're looking at these two in particular, is
- 28:55Speaker 1: there one to try first out of the two bison options?
- 28:59Speaker 5: It depends. If you're looking for strictly hormonal support, you're
- 29:01Speaker 5: struggling with hormones, I'm definitely going to say liver.
- 29:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 29:04Speaker 5: For sure. It's like the thing that all women need.
- 29:07Speaker 5: The trifecta is really great because it is the combination.
- 29:11Speaker 1: Right.
- 29:11Speaker 5: You can mix and match.
- 29:12Speaker 6: Okay.
- 29:12Speaker 5: You can take three of these and three of these.
- 29:14Speaker 5: Got it. And then we do have the standalone heart too,
- 29:17Speaker 5: which a lot of athletes love. It really increases that
- 29:21Speaker 5: energy of athletic performance. You can lift stronger. You can
- 29:24Speaker 5: run faster. Oh, wow. Men specifically really love this one.
- 29:31Speaker 4: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 29:34Speaker 4: know about the drawer. The drawer.
- 29:38Speaker 7: Just the one square before bed. Or two, you know.
- 29:44Speaker 7: Nobody's watching. You deserve a treat.
- 29:50Speaker 4: With eight flavors to choose from, you can choose the
- 29:53Speaker 4: flavor you favor with Cadbury dairy milk.
- 30:01Speaker 5: Portions all the way through. I would say these two
- 30:04Speaker 5: are my favorite. I do take a little extra liver
- 30:06Speaker 5: when I'm on my period, again, for that extra support.
- 30:09Speaker 2: So it's okay to take more?
- 30:10Speaker 5: It's organs. If you ate it, it would be, you know,
- 30:13Speaker 5: the body's controlling your portion.
- 30:15Speaker 2: I'm curious. So when I'm taking the six, what does
- 30:17Speaker 2: that equal to?
- 30:19Speaker 5: Is if you were eating, I think it's like a
- 30:22Speaker 5: gram of the, an ounce. An ounce of the actual meat.
- 30:27Speaker 2: Okay, so it's not like you're overdoing it.
- 30:29Speaker 5: Sorry, none of us are doing. I'm not going out,
- 30:32Speaker 5: getting a bison, getting the organs, cooking. I'm not. Right.
- 30:35Speaker 5: I'm just not.
- 30:36Speaker 1: I'm not going to either.
- 30:37Speaker 5: No, but this makes it very convenient where you can
- 30:39Speaker 5: get all of that powerful, powerful nutrition in your body without,
- 30:44Speaker 5: you know, it's the modern convenience here.
- 30:46Speaker 2: Right, okay. Other questions for you.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Do you have anything? For me in particular, I have
- 30:52Speaker 1: an issue with like my eyes. I feel like as
- 30:55Speaker 1: we get older... I can't see anything. So, like, what
- 30:59Speaker 1: would you suggest for people that are having problems like that?
- 31:02Speaker 2: Do you have something in your little cabinet?
- 31:04Speaker 5: I mean, I'm going to say that Bison cures almost everything.
- 31:07Speaker 2: Okay. That's interesting.
- 31:09Speaker 5: I wore glasses for reading a lot up until, like,
- 31:13Speaker 5: three months ago, and I'm finding I don't really need
- 31:15Speaker 5: them very much.
- 31:16Speaker 2: No way.
- 31:17Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Wow. How long did that take you to notice that?
- 31:20Speaker 5: Six months.
- 31:21Speaker 2: Okay. We're going to have a conversation in six months.
- 31:23Speaker 6: I'm so excited.
- 31:24Speaker 5: A is the very important vitamin for eyes.
- 31:26Speaker 2: Okay, vitamin A.
- 31:27Speaker 4: Right.
- 31:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:29Speaker 4: But.
- 31:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 31:30Speaker 2: All right. Well, I'm going to keep trying this.
- 31:31Speaker 5: I've personally noticed that I don't wear my readers. Wow.
- 31:35Speaker 2: I can't see anything without my readers. So, okay.
- 31:37Speaker 1: I'm excited.
- 31:37Speaker 2: We'll have.
- 31:38Speaker 1: You got to try it.
- 31:39Speaker 2: In six months.
- 31:39Speaker 5: Try it.
- 31:40Speaker 2: I'm going to keep it up for six months at
- 31:41Speaker 2: least and we'll see what happens.
- 31:42Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 31:43Speaker 5: I think you're going to get to the point where
- 31:44Speaker 5: you actually can't live without it because that's what ends
- 31:47Speaker 5: up happening is you... you notice you haven't taken it
- 31:50Speaker 5: and then you're like, oh my God, I'm like falling
- 31:52Speaker 5: apart today. What is wrong with me? And then shit,
- 31:54Speaker 5: I forgot the bison.
- 31:55Speaker 1: Right.
- 31:56Speaker 2: Okay. Good to know.
- 31:57Speaker 4: All right.
- 31:57Speaker 2: So what else do I see that we have?
- 31:59Speaker 5: We got those. Those are great. So one of our
- 32:06Speaker 5: other favorites here is brain joy. I love this one.
- 32:09Speaker 1: Oh yes, I have this one. Now tell me what,
- 32:11Speaker 1: what this is.
- 32:12Speaker 5: So it's full of adaptogens. This is a cognitive, um,
- 32:16Speaker 5: it's for the health of your brain.
- 32:17Speaker 2: So less brain fog.
- 32:19Speaker 5: That's what it ends up doing.
- 32:21Speaker 1: Okay.
- 32:21Speaker 5: In taking care of the health of your brain. Okay. Yeah.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Why do we care that our brain is healthy?
- 32:27Speaker 5: I mean, I'm not going to make any medical claims
- 32:29Speaker 5: and say that I'm going to prevent Alzheimer's, but I
- 32:31Speaker 5: am going to say that those are all things that
- 32:32Speaker 5: we should be paying attention to. Got it. Brain health
- 32:34Speaker 5: is incredibly important. Cognitive function is important, especially for women.
- 32:38Speaker 5: Cognitive decline happens once you hit a certain age, and
- 32:42Speaker 5: it's important to pay attention to these things.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Yes. I was going to say that they used to
- 32:45Speaker 1: have an ad for some sort of a supplement years
- 32:48Speaker 1: ago for memory. Can't remember the name. Obviously, I didn't
- 32:52Speaker 1: take it.
- 32:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 32:53Speaker 1: And then I stopped seeing the ad. But I was
- 32:55Speaker 1: always like, what is that thing for? Because I forget everything.
- 32:59Speaker 1: But I think it's normal. I'm not having any issues
- 33:03Speaker 1: with my brain. But I should probably start taking that also.
- 33:05Speaker 5: This one's really great, though. I highly recommend it. And
- 33:07Speaker 5: if you take it with the trifecta, It's the most
- 33:10Speaker 5: amazing thing that I can't even describe how good it feels.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Amazing.
- 33:12Speaker 5: Yeah. It's like you get this huge burst of energy
- 33:14Speaker 5: from the bison and then this has ashwagandha in it.
- 33:17Speaker 5: So it's very calming.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Okay.
- 33:18Speaker 5: Very calming.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Oh, does it matter what time of day you take these?
- 33:22Speaker 5: Um, I mean, I take this one in the morning.
- 33:24Speaker 5: I take most of my supplements after I eat my
- 33:26Speaker 5: first meal, which is 10 o'clock. Okay.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Right. So it doesn't, it's not based on you have
- 33:31Speaker 1: to eat it with food, without food at a certain time.
- 33:33Speaker 2: You can do it on your schedule.
- 33:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:35Speaker 5: On your schedule. I do recommend taking supplements, not on
- 33:38Speaker 5: an empty stomach.
- 33:39Speaker 2: Okay, good.
- 33:40Speaker 5: Unless it says otherwise, but generally it's not great.
- 33:43Speaker 1: Okay.
- 33:44Speaker 5: So this is just ginseng, turmeric. I mean, these are
- 33:46Speaker 5: all things that we know about, right? Lion's mane, lemon balm, ashwagandha,
- 33:50Speaker 5: and ginkgo.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Okay. I've heard of all of those.
- 33:52Speaker 5: Exactly, right? Nothing you can't pronounce, nothing weird that you've
- 33:55Speaker 5: never heard of before. Put in a very simple, again,
- 33:59Speaker 5: you could throw it in your bag if you wanted to.
- 34:02Speaker 2: How many of those are you taking a day?
- 34:04Speaker 6: Two.
- 34:04Speaker 5: Two, okay. Two in the morning. Great. With the trifecta. Perfect.
- 34:08Speaker 5: And then you're on fire.
- 34:09Speaker 2: On fire.
- 34:10Speaker 4: All right.
- 34:10Speaker 5: Which we all need, right? And you were asking about multi.
- 34:14Speaker 5: We do have a multivitamin. This one's really great. It's
- 34:16Speaker 5: called Primora.
- 34:17Speaker 6: Okay.
- 34:17Speaker 5: And it has a vitamin B boost. So obviously you
- 34:20Speaker 5: would have to take this one in the morning if
- 34:21Speaker 5: you want to sleep at night.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Got it.
- 34:22Speaker 5: With the B vitamins. And it's got, I think, 18
- 34:27Speaker 5: different vitamins.
- 34:28Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 34:29Speaker 5: Yeah. So it's a comprehensive multi.
- 34:31Speaker 1: So now maybe this is an ignorant question, but would you,
- 34:34Speaker 1: if you're taking the multivitamin, Do you still need to
- 34:36Speaker 1: take the other ones? Or my, the question is really backwards.
- 34:39Speaker 1: If you're taking the other ones, what we talked about
- 34:40Speaker 1: so far, do you really need a multi?
- 34:43Speaker 5: No, you're going to have to do some picking and choosing.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Got it.
- 34:45Speaker 5: Okay. About what's going to work for you.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Right.
- 34:47Speaker 5: You're not getting too much.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Yes.
- 34:49Speaker 5: Okay.
- 34:49Speaker 2: And then you were.
- 34:49Speaker 5: Asking about, you know, supplements for when you're a little
- 34:52Speaker 5: bit older.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Yep.
- 34:52Speaker 5: Right. I mean, this is for all women. This is for,
- 34:55Speaker 5: you know, we're talking about fertility this month.
- 34:58Speaker 6: Right.
- 34:58Speaker 5: But it's fertility of both ideas, right? Being a woman is,
- 35:03Speaker 5: birthing into this world, whether it's a business or an
- 35:07Speaker 5: idea or an actual child. Right. It's all fertility. Right.
- 35:10Speaker 1: Yeah. And this month is Mother's Day. You know, we're
- 35:13Speaker 1: giving gifts to our mothers. So tell me about these.
- 35:16Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:16Speaker 5: So these are really great. Move Bliss is a joint support.
- 35:19Speaker 7: Okay.
- 35:20Speaker 5: So, you know, you get older, your joints get sore. Right.
- 35:23Speaker 5: So this one's really great for women who are more menopausal.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:28Speaker 5: But I mean, you don't have to be older to
- 35:30Speaker 5: have joint issues.
- 35:31Speaker 2: No, of course not.
- 35:32Speaker 5: And it's, um, like conjoined and all kinds of normal joints. Okay. Yeah.
- 35:37Speaker 5: So that one's really great. Um, and then bone vitality
- 35:41Speaker 5: is a bone formula. It's magnesium, calcium makes.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Your bones stronger. Is that what that, okay.
- 35:46Speaker 5: And that gets, lots of women are at risk for osteoporosis, right?
- 35:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 35:51Speaker 2: A little, what about women?
- 35:53Speaker 1: I've had a couple of women on recently talking about, um,
- 35:57Speaker 1: freezing their eggs or IVF treatment. So when they're dealing
- 36:01Speaker 1: with hormones put in their body, I guess for that
- 36:04Speaker 1: whole thing, is there something that you guys have that
- 36:07Speaker 1: you would be suggesting during that time for people to take?
- 36:11Speaker 5: I mean, obviously you'd have to consult with your doctor.
- 36:13Speaker 5: I would say bison is good for everyone.
- 36:15Speaker 3: Okay.
- 36:16Speaker 5: Yeah. We have nurses who are affiliates who suggested as
- 36:20Speaker 5: a prenatal, but obviously you have to Speak to your
- 36:22Speaker 5: doctor about that.
- 36:23Speaker 3: Okay.
- 36:23Speaker 5: But it is liver, beef liver, which now we can
- 36:26Speaker 5: translate that over to bison. It's considered nature's multivitamin.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Okay.
- 36:30Speaker 5: I love it.
- 36:31Speaker 2: So interesting. All right. Anything else that we're missing?
- 36:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 36:34Speaker 5: We have two gummy products here. Ooh.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Okay. Love a good gummy.
- 36:38Speaker 5: Who doesn't like gummies? Right? So this is Vibrant Bloom.
- 36:41Speaker 5: This is a hair, skin, and nails gummy.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Oh, perfect.
- 36:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:44Speaker 5: It's got apple cider vinegar in it, which we all
- 36:46Speaker 5: know is really great.
- 36:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:47Speaker 5: And obviously, biotin, aloe vera, vitamin E, B12.
- 36:50Speaker 3: Okay.
- 36:52Speaker 5: And it's just two gummies. They taste kind of like apple.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Oh, great.
- 36:55Speaker 5: Yeah, they're really good. So we love those ones. People
- 36:57Speaker 5: love them. And you take that with the bison, and
- 36:59Speaker 5: you're just like, hair, nails, perfect.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Vibrating off of you. I love it.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Vibrant.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Yep.
- 37:05Speaker 2: I got it.
- 37:05Speaker 5: Yeah. And then we do have a sleep gummy as well.
- 37:07Speaker 5: This one's called Dreamy. Oh.
- 37:09Speaker 6: Okay.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Now talk to me about these.
- 37:11Speaker 1: Okay. So I'm not a melatonin person.
- 37:13Speaker 2: I don't believe in it.
- 37:13Speaker 5: Some people aren't.
- 37:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Well, I don't know if it works for me.
- 37:15Speaker 5: This one does have melatonin, but we do have two
- 37:17Speaker 5: other trusted brands that do not.
- 37:19Speaker 1: Well, it's not that I don't want to take it.
- 37:21Speaker 1: It's that I'm someone who had to take Ambien to
- 37:23Speaker 1: go to sleep, right? So do you think that something
- 37:25Speaker 1: like this would work on somebody like me who might
- 37:28Speaker 1: be all psychosomatic, but I think that if I'm going
- 37:31Speaker 1: to take a sleeping pill, I have to take Lunasta
- 37:34Speaker 1: or Ambien or something. Could this actually work on someone
- 37:37Speaker 1: who's had a real hard time sleeping?
- 37:38Speaker 5: I think you should try it.
- 37:39Speaker 2: I'm going to try it.
- 37:40Speaker 5: I think you should try it. I mean, I can't
- 37:41Speaker 5: say for sure, but I do think you should try it. Okay.
- 37:44Speaker 5: I have lots of women who reach out to us
- 37:45Speaker 5: and say, I haven't slept in years and now I'm sleeping.
- 37:48Speaker 1: And is it something you have to build up to
- 37:50Speaker 1: or like I take a couple and it should work
- 37:52Speaker 1: that night?
- 37:52Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 37:54Speaker 5: I can't wait. So it has magnesium in it as well,
- 37:56Speaker 5: which we know is very common for the body, very
- 37:58Speaker 5: important for sleep. As well as ashwagandha, same thing, very calming.
- 38:03Speaker 1: I love this.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Okay, and what are the essential oils?
- 38:07Speaker 5: Oh, these are so exciting. We just launched these. Okay.
- 38:11Speaker 2: I love the box.
- 38:12Speaker 5: Oh, isn't it beautiful?
- 38:13Speaker 2: Yeah, it really is.
- 38:13Speaker 5: I wanted everything to be a love letter to women.
- 38:16Speaker 2: I love that.
- 38:17Speaker 5: Yeah, it's really important to me because self-care and self-love
- 38:20Speaker 5: are the same thing. And so if you're taking care
- 38:23Speaker 5: of yourself, you're showing yourself love. Yeah. And that's just,
- 38:26Speaker 5: they really go hand in hand. And so everything should
- 38:28Speaker 5: just be beautiful and you should like want to have
- 38:30Speaker 5: it out. The bottles are intentionally beautiful.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Yes.
- 38:33Speaker 5: You might want to leave them out on your vanity
- 38:34Speaker 5: or something. Exactly. It's not just some ugly container that
- 38:36Speaker 5: you're going to throw in the cupboard.
- 38:37Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 38:38Speaker 5: Yeah. It's, it's all about that ritual of understanding.
- 38:41Speaker 2: I love that. It was very thought out. Oh, these are,
- 38:44Speaker 2: these are beautiful.
- 38:45Speaker 5: Oh, thank you. I'm so excited. So we have this
- 38:47Speaker 5: box set that you can get, which is tea tree, Peppermint, lemon, lavender,
- 38:53Speaker 5: and eucalyptus. They're all organic.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Okay.
- 38:55Speaker 5: And they're nice big bottles, which is hard to find
- 38:58Speaker 5: the big ones.
- 38:58Speaker 2: And how do you use them?
- 39:00Speaker 5: So if you buy the set, you actually get an
- 39:03Speaker 5: e-book that we wrote that has recipes in it, diffuser blends,
- 39:08Speaker 5: and goes through each oil specifically.
- 39:12Speaker 4: They think you're done for the day, but they don't
- 39:15Speaker 4: know about the drawer.
- 39:17Speaker 7: The drawer. Just the one square before bed. Or two,
- 39:24Speaker 7: you know. Nobody's watching. You deserve a treat.
- 39:31Speaker 4: With eight flavors to choose from you can choose the
- 39:34Speaker 4: flavor you favor with cabri dairy.
- 39:36Speaker 5: Milk how it helps women wow specifically for women so
- 39:45Speaker 5: give me an idea of like what what does somebody
- 39:47Speaker 5: use peppermint for Um, well, peppermint's great for energy. It's
- 39:50Speaker 5: awesome for headaches. Um, you want to always dilute with
- 39:56Speaker 5: a carrier oil. We talk about all of that in
- 39:58Speaker 5: the books when you buy the site.
- 39:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Oh, so it's not about just dabbing some and putting
- 40:01Speaker 1: it on your wrist or your head or something.
- 40:03Speaker 5: No, you want to dilute it.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Everyone do not listen to me. Do not try this
- 40:07Speaker 2: at home.
- 40:07Speaker 5: Don't ingest it either. Okay.
- 40:09Speaker 2: I'm not throwing this in my soup or something.
- 40:11Speaker 5: You're not.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Okay.
- 40:13Speaker 5: Definitely not. No. You're putting it in a diffuser, which
- 40:15Speaker 5: you can also buy in our trusted brand marketplace.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 40:17Speaker 5: Or you're having it in a carrier oil. We have
- 40:20Speaker 5: castor oil. It's an excellent carrier oil.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Talk to me about castor oil. Everyone's talking about this.
- 40:24Speaker 2: I don't get it.
- 40:25Speaker 5: It's great.
- 40:26Speaker 4: Okay.
- 40:27Speaker 2: What is it? Tell me. For people that don't know
- 40:29Speaker 2: what it is like me, explain it.
- 40:30Speaker 6: Okay.
- 40:31Speaker 5: So there's a few different ways you can use castor oil.
- 40:33Speaker 5: And we have a few different products. It's in our
- 40:35Speaker 5: trusted brand marketplace.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Okay.
- 40:36Speaker 5: So maybe I should just talk about that real quick. Yeah.
- 40:38Speaker 2: Let's talk about that.
- 40:39Speaker 5: Set that out. So for me, it was always about, okay,
- 40:42Speaker 5: I want to be in holistic health, but like, how
- 40:44Speaker 5: do I know I'm not paying for garbage?
- 40:46Speaker 6: Right.
- 40:46Speaker 2: That's a huge question.
- 40:48Speaker 5: I don't know. So then I research because I'm that
- 40:50Speaker 5: person who's going to spend days researching something before I
- 40:53Speaker 5: commit to buying it and deciding, okay, is this, I'm
- 40:56Speaker 5: delving deep into the company. Is it like what it
- 40:59Speaker 5: says it is? If it made where it says it is.
- 41:02Speaker 1: So you're not only looking at the brand and who
- 41:04Speaker 1: makes it, you're looking at what's in every product.
- 41:06Speaker 5: Everything. Is it actually organic? Is it not? Is it
- 41:11Speaker 5: kind of organic? Is one thing organic? Because in labeling laws,
- 41:16Speaker 5: you can call one thing organic, but then you can
- 41:19Speaker 5: get an organic certification if you have a certain percentage,
- 41:22Speaker 5: but then it's not. So I'm just paying attention to
- 41:24Speaker 5: all of these things.
- 41:25Speaker 1: And wait, let's just touch on what organic means because
- 41:27Speaker 1: a lot of us only have heard the word organic
- 41:29Speaker 1: or paid attention to it when we're talking about food.
- 41:32Speaker 1: And we know that means that there's no hormones in
- 41:34Speaker 1: it or whatever. What does it mean for products?
- 41:37Speaker 2: Same thing?
- 41:37Speaker 5: So like for the oils, they are organically grown. There's
- 41:40Speaker 5: no pesticides. They're not sprayed with pesticides. Fertilizers would only
- 41:44Speaker 5: be natural fertilizers. It's organic. It's clean. There's no chemicals
- 41:49Speaker 5: in it. There's no byproducts, synthetics, nothing like that. Like
- 41:52Speaker 5: what is on the label is what you are actually getting. Wow.
- 41:56Speaker 2: Okay.
- 41:56Speaker 5: Essentially.
- 41:57Speaker 7: Okay.
- 41:58Speaker 1: And because in a lot of these places that you researched,
- 42:01Speaker 1: what do you think the percentage was of the real
- 42:04Speaker 1: stuff versus the stuff that they put in it that
- 42:07Speaker 1: either diluted it or diluting is a big deal.
- 42:10Speaker 5: Yeah. So yeah, you got it. You got to dig,
- 42:12Speaker 5: you got to dig. And then I'm all about obviously
- 42:15Speaker 5: lifting up women's businesses. So I love it when we
- 42:18Speaker 5: can trust a brand, an entire women's business. So our
- 42:21Speaker 5: castor oil is queen of Thrones and it's Dr. Marisol.
- 42:24Speaker 5: She's a naturopath who's created this entire product line. She's
- 42:27Speaker 5: very successful. She's done a great job of it. And
- 42:29Speaker 5: I have been using her products for years in my
- 42:33Speaker 5: health journey. So you can use them in a few
- 42:36Speaker 5: different ways. you can just do, like, a liver detox.
- 42:39Speaker 5: So you just literally put the castor oil on, and
- 42:41Speaker 5: then you get this pack that's, like, flannel-y on one side,
- 42:45Speaker 5: and you put it on, you wrap it around, you, like,
- 42:49Speaker 5: you can heat it.
- 42:50Speaker 2: Hold it to your body.
- 42:50Speaker 5: Yeah, it ties, right? You can heat it, so you put.
- 42:54Speaker 2: Like, a hot water bottle.
- 42:55Speaker 1: So it's not a patch.
- 42:56Speaker 2: It's, like, stuff you put on, and then you put
- 42:58Speaker 2: this thing around you.
- 42:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 42:59Speaker 6: Okay.
- 42:59Speaker 5: Yeah, and then I always say start really small. Like,
- 43:02Speaker 5: if you don't detox very often, you need to start with, like,
- 43:05Speaker 5: 20 minutes.
- 43:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 43:06Speaker 1: I was going to say, I've heard people like put
- 43:08Speaker 1: it on for too long and get sick. They get
- 43:09Speaker 1: flu-like symptoms.
- 43:11Speaker 6: Literally.
- 43:11Speaker 2: I've done that.
- 43:12Speaker 5: Yeah. The first time I did that, I'm like, I'm fine.
- 43:14Speaker 5: I'm going to do it overnight. And I literally woke
- 43:16Speaker 5: up sick the next day. You detox too fast. Your
- 43:18Speaker 5: body can't handle it.
- 43:19Speaker 2: Okay.
- 43:20Speaker 5: Yeah. So you got to start real slow. And you're
- 43:22Speaker 5: basically creating that cleaning out of your body.
- 43:24Speaker 1: And is it where you put... And again, I'm sorry
- 43:27Speaker 1: if this is ignorant. I just really don't know. Wherever
- 43:29Speaker 1: you put the castor oil, is that where it's detoxing?
- 43:31Speaker 1: Like if you put it in different places?
- 43:33Speaker 5: Yeah. So we have different packs with the liver pack.
- 43:35Speaker 5: So that's obviously for your liver. It gets rid of
- 43:38Speaker 5: liver stagnation, gets everything moving properly. It penetrates right through
- 43:43Speaker 5: the skin in a way that other things don't. But
- 43:46Speaker 5: there's thyroid packs. Lots of women have thyroid issues, thyroid nodules.
- 43:50Speaker 5: I have a friend who had lots of thyroid nodules
- 43:52Speaker 5: and she ended up completely healing them. Wow. Just by
- 43:55Speaker 5: doing castor oil packs on her thyroid. We have the
- 43:57Speaker 5: breast packs too and they come in two different sizes.
- 44:01Speaker 5: If you have like lumps.
- 44:03Speaker 2: Okay.
- 44:03Speaker 5: If you have pain during your period.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 44:06Speaker 5: Okay. Anything like that. Lots of women have like fibrocystic breasts.
- 44:09Speaker 6: Yes.
- 44:10Speaker 5: Okay. Very helpful.
- 44:11Speaker 1: And then I've heard people use castor oil to help
- 44:13Speaker 1: them if they have bowel issues or So I'm.
- 44:15Speaker 2: Assuming you can put it on your stomach.
- 44:17Speaker 5: Yeah, you can put it under your stomach. Some people
- 44:19Speaker 5: put just a little dab of it in their belly
- 44:21Speaker 5: button before they go to bed. You can put it
- 44:23Speaker 5: on your face. You can put it on your eyebrows
- 44:25Speaker 5: to grow your hair, on your eyelashes.
- 44:27Speaker 2: Oh, my goodness.
- 44:28Speaker 5: You can put it in your scalp and then rinse
- 44:30Speaker 5: it out as like a scalp treatment. I mean, it's
- 44:32Speaker 5: just like endless. Wow. Yeah.
- 44:34Speaker 3: Okay.
- 44:34Speaker 5: You can put it on your chest if you've got
- 44:36Speaker 5: chest congestion.
- 44:37Speaker 2: So that's different than one of these things, right?
- 44:39Speaker 5: This is different than this, but you can use these
- 44:41Speaker 5: in conjunction with the castor oil. Use it as a
- 44:43Speaker 5: carrier oil.
- 44:44Speaker 2: I see.
- 44:44Speaker 3: Okay.
- 44:44Speaker 5: So say you've got a headache, you do a little
- 44:46Speaker 5: dab of the castor oil, you put a couple drops
- 44:48Speaker 5: of the peppermint, and you put it on your temple.
- 44:50Speaker 6: And it works. It works. Wow. Yeah.
- 44:53Speaker 5: I'm a migraine sufferer, and I swear by it. Yeah.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Interesting.
- 44:56Speaker 5: Okay.
- 44:57Speaker 1: And migraines for, I mean, people that have them know
- 44:59Speaker 1: they're terrible and debilitating.
- 45:01Speaker 5: I get so sick. I'm like in bed for eight
- 45:03Speaker 5: hours and I'm throwing up and it's awful.
- 45:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 45:07Speaker 1: I usually can't see out of one eye. It's like ocular,
- 45:10Speaker 1: you know, they're the worst, but it's hard. You can't
- 45:12Speaker 1: parent when, you know, that happens.
- 45:14Speaker 2: You can't like be present.
- 45:15Speaker 5: My kids know to leave me alone. They're like, oh no,
- 45:17Speaker 5: mom's sick.
- 45:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:18Speaker 2: It's a terrible thing.
- 45:19Speaker 1: So that's, that's a really great solution for people to
- 45:21Speaker 1: try if they don't want to keep Having to go
- 45:23Speaker 1: and take, you know, the medicine. I used to have
- 45:25Speaker 1: to get those shots for migraines. Now I have some prescription.
- 45:30Speaker 1: I forget the name of it, of course, because I'm
- 45:32Speaker 1: not taking my brain supplement. But no, and it actually
- 45:37Speaker 1: makes me feel terrible when I take it because you
- 45:39Speaker 1: can feel it working, which is great.
- 45:41Speaker 2: But it's like it makes you feel very.
- 45:42Speaker 5: I know I have prescription migraine medication that I don't
- 45:45Speaker 5: take because I can't handle the side effects. I feel
- 45:48Speaker 5: worse than just having the headache. And I'm like, I
- 45:50Speaker 5: can ride this out. It's going to be eight hours.
- 45:52Speaker 5: I'm going to throw up. I'm going to feel awful,
- 45:53Speaker 5: but it's going to be over. Right.
- 45:55Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 45:56Speaker 1: Okay. So to clarify, so you have all these, so,
- 45:59Speaker 1: oh yeah. Finish talking to me about the things in
- 46:01Speaker 1: your box here.
- 46:02Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:02Speaker 5: So, I mean, lavender is for sleep. You know, you
- 46:05Speaker 5: can put it in a bath with some Epsom salts.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Oh, I love that.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Yeah. I really like eucalyptus too.
- 46:12Speaker 7: I see.
- 46:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:13Speaker 5: We have eucalyptus, which is obviously like very spotlight, very
- 46:16Speaker 5: chest clear.
- 46:17Speaker 1: I love that in a bath.
- 46:19Speaker 5: Oh, it's so good. I have bath recipes in there.
- 46:22Speaker 5: I've got cleaner recipes in the e-book. It's all in there.
- 46:25Speaker 5: It's like 60 pages long.
- 46:26Speaker 1: This is a beautiful option for like a gift for
- 46:28Speaker 1: somebody too.
- 46:29Speaker 5: I'm going to let you in on a little secret.
- 46:31Speaker 5: This is my Mother's Day present for all the moms
- 46:33Speaker 5: in my family this year.
- 46:34Speaker 2: I love that.
- 46:35Speaker 5: A little box, a little diffuser.
- 46:37Speaker 2: Oh, gorgeous.
- 46:38Speaker 1: Now, for our listeners who are thinking of something like that,
- 46:40Speaker 1: what does something like this cost?
- 46:43Speaker 5: The price point on this one, man, you know what?
- 46:45Speaker 5: I'd have to look at the website.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Okay.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Well, everyone can look at the website.
- 46:50Speaker 5: You can buy them individually as well.
- 46:51Speaker 6: Okay.
- 46:51Speaker 3: Perfect.
- 46:52Speaker 5: If you don't want to buy the entire set.
- 46:53Speaker 1: Perfect. Well, we'll put a link out during this anyways
- 46:56Speaker 1: to the website. And obviously if there's a link directly
- 46:59Speaker 1: to that, we'll send it as well.
- 47:00Speaker 5: Totally.
- 47:01Speaker 1: But I think that that's a really good option for,
- 47:03Speaker 1: for a woman in your.
- 47:04Speaker 2: Life for sure.
- 47:06Speaker 5: All right.
- 47:06Speaker 1: So to clarify, you have these signature products that you
- 47:10Speaker 1: guys really represent, but then you have this amazing marketplace,
- 47:12Speaker 1: which From what it sounds like is almost, and I
- 47:15Speaker 1: don't want to dumb it down by saying it's like Amazon.
- 47:17Speaker 3: No, no, no.
- 47:18Speaker 5: But that's the thing. It's like Amazon, but better.
- 47:21Speaker 1: Fine.
- 47:21Speaker 6: Right?
- 47:21Speaker 5: Because it's specific. It's specific to women. It's vetted. We
- 47:25Speaker 5: are building it out. We add a new trusted brand
- 47:27Speaker 5: every single week. And these are brands that you would
- 47:30Speaker 5: probably recognize. Yeah. I mean, the castor oil is really popular.
- 47:33Speaker 5: Lots of people have been maybe buying that castor oil
- 47:36Speaker 5: already from someone else.
- 47:38Speaker 2: Got it.
- 47:39Speaker 5: And then they come in and they buy some bison
- 47:41Speaker 5: and they get their castor oil and they get They're
- 47:43Speaker 5: sleep gummies.
- 47:44Speaker 1: Right. So it's a one-stop shop.
- 47:46Speaker 5: 100% for women. And we're continuing to build that out.
- 47:49Speaker 5: So we have, like, I want to have all the
- 47:52Speaker 5: sexual health offerings. Oh, that would be good. We're working
- 47:55Speaker 5: on finding an organic pad and tampon company.
- 47:59Speaker 2: We talked about that.
- 48:00Speaker 3: Yes.
- 48:00Speaker 5: And we're really struggling to find somebody who is really,
- 48:04Speaker 5: first of all, what it says it is in terms
- 48:06Speaker 5: of certifications being organic, things like that. But that actually
- 48:10Speaker 5: work because there's some that like we tried some, I
- 48:13Speaker 5: think they were hemp fiber or something. And like it
- 48:15Speaker 5: didn't even absorb. It was gross.
- 48:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that probably wouldn't be great. And they sell that
- 48:20Speaker 1: on the market already? Oh, yeah.
- 48:21Speaker 5: It's a company, but it's not great. So we're continually testing.
- 48:25Speaker 5: Me and the team of goddesses get to test all
- 48:27Speaker 5: these things out. We've tried 10 so far and we've
- 48:30Speaker 5: got two that we're contending now to actually test. show
- 48:34Speaker 5: up in the trusted brand marketplace.
- 48:35Speaker 1: So what makes a trusted brand? How do you, is there,
- 48:38Speaker 1: are there qualifications?
- 48:39Speaker 3: Totally. Yeah.
- 48:40Speaker 5: We all, we all try them. We all make sure
- 48:42Speaker 5: that we like them, that we feel like that they're
- 48:44Speaker 5: adding something. I love amplifying women's businesses specifically. So if
- 48:50Speaker 5: it's women run, I mean, we are entirely women run.
- 48:52Speaker 5: My entire team is women, which is really great.
- 48:55Speaker 1: And do you have a team of people that are
- 48:56Speaker 1: going out and looking for products or are you in
- 48:59Speaker 1: the incoming phone call business where people are like, I
- 49:01Speaker 1: have a product I want to introduce you to?
- 49:03Speaker 5: A little bit of both. We even have a contact
- 49:04Speaker 5: form on the website that people reach out to and say, hey,
- 49:07Speaker 5: I have something I'd like you to check out.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Okay.
- 49:09Speaker 5: Go to trade shows and find things.
- 49:11Speaker 2: Oh, fun.
- 49:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 49:12Speaker 5: Word of mouth.
- 49:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 49:13Speaker 6: Okay.
- 49:14Speaker 5: A lot of them are products that I have been
- 49:16Speaker 5: using myself for a long time.
- 49:18Speaker 2: So you know and you know the experience.
- 49:20Speaker 5: Yeah, and trust them again.
- 49:21Speaker 1: I think people sometimes want a quick fix. So that's
- 49:28Speaker 1: why they pick certain brands or maybe just medicine as
- 49:31Speaker 1: opposed to going holistic, right?
- 49:32Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 49:33Speaker 2: You know, we talked about it already. The bison is.
- 49:37Speaker 1: I don't want to say a quick fix, but I
- 49:39Speaker 1: personally can say I felt a difference very quickly. And
- 49:42Speaker 1: a lot of these you're saying, you know, have a
- 49:47Speaker 1: influence on you very quickly. Do you think, is there
- 49:51Speaker 1: anything in there that you need to be cognizant of
- 49:54Speaker 1: that you need to take for a while to really
- 49:56Speaker 1: start seeing results? Because I think it's important for people
- 49:58Speaker 1: to know like that they should be aware of what
- 50:01Speaker 1: they're putting in their body, but sometimes a quick fix
- 50:03Speaker 1: is not always going to be the answer that you
- 50:05Speaker 1: have to stick with it.
- 50:06Speaker 5: You do.
- 50:07Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 50:07Speaker 5: I think that's really the case for anything that's holistic
- 50:10Speaker 5: or natural. The synthetic things tend to work faster.
- 50:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 50:14Speaker 5: There's a medication or something like that. And the holistic
- 50:17Speaker 5: options don't work as quickly necessarily. I mean, the bison
- 50:20Speaker 5: works really fast and everybody that takes it says the
- 50:22Speaker 5: same thing. It's three days. Yeah. Yeah. Some people are
- 50:25Speaker 5: noticing a difference in a day.
- 50:26Speaker 1: Right.
- 50:26Speaker 5: It really depends on where you're at and what your
- 50:28Speaker 5: baseline is though.
- 50:29Speaker 1: Right.
- 50:29Speaker 5: Everybody is so, so different. But for me, it's that
- 50:32Speaker 5: message of you can pursue it. You can persevere through
- 50:35Speaker 5: it if you want to feel well, if that is
- 50:38Speaker 5: important to you, if you want to do something different.
- 50:41Speaker 6: Right.
- 50:42Speaker 1: What would you say is on the horizon for you? Like,
- 50:44Speaker 1: do you have any things on your bucket list for
- 50:46Speaker 1: products or things you're really looking forward to or things
- 50:50Speaker 1: you want to be doing in the future?
- 50:51Speaker 5: Totally. Well, I can't say too much, but I am
- 50:54Speaker 5: currently partnered with and working with a very prominent doctor
- 50:57Speaker 5: and we are formulating a prenatal. that is going to
- 51:00Speaker 5: be completely revolutionary in its delivery.
- 51:03Speaker 6: Wow.
- 51:04Speaker 5: Okay.
- 51:04Speaker 1: When do you think you'd be able to find that?
- 51:07Speaker 5: Probably in the fall. Okay. So not so far off.
- 51:09Speaker 5: The formulation process is a long one.
- 51:11Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:12Speaker 6: Okay.
- 51:12Speaker 1: And you want to get it right, obviously.
- 51:13Speaker 5: Yeah, absolutely.
- 51:14Speaker 1: So all the information about these products you can find
- 51:17Speaker 1: on your website, correct? And then is there, I mean,
- 51:20Speaker 1: I know, but there's more information on there too. So
- 51:23Speaker 1: people can just get educated in general.
- 51:25Speaker 5: Yeah. So we have the blog, which is all of
- 51:27Speaker 5: our newsletters that are archived. So you can go through
- 51:30Speaker 5: and read everything that we've ever written each month. We
- 51:32Speaker 5: have a new theme. So February was live with your
- 51:35Speaker 5: cycle month. And we spent the entire month going through
- 51:38Speaker 5: your cycle as if day one, February 1st was day
- 51:40Speaker 5: one of your period. And every single day what your
- 51:43Speaker 5: body was doing.
- 51:44Speaker 1: Oh, wow.
- 51:45Speaker 5: Because a lot of people just don't know.
- 51:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:47Speaker 5: Right.
- 51:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:48Speaker 5: And when you're aware, then, you know, this month is fertility.
- 51:50Speaker 5: So everything we're talking about is fertility. But again, that's
- 51:53Speaker 5: not necessarily fertility. conception or preparing for conception, that is
- 51:57Speaker 5: the fertility of being a woman that you are capable
- 52:01Speaker 5: of fertility in general. And it doesn't have to be
- 52:04Speaker 5: a child.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Right.
- 52:06Speaker 3: Right.
- 52:07Speaker 2: Okay.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Um, I'd love a month where you guys talk about, um,
- 52:11Speaker 1: you know, that perimenopause stage.
- 52:13Speaker 5: We literally just did that last month. We spent an
- 52:15Speaker 5: entire month on menopause and perimenopause.
- 52:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:18Speaker 1: Because, you know, I always think just like when you're
- 52:21Speaker 1: having a baby and for the last month you're like, oh,
- 52:24Speaker 1: it's happening. And then you're like, oh, it's Braxton Hicks.
- 52:27Speaker 1: You'll know when you know when it really happens. And
- 52:29Speaker 1: you're like, no, no, no, it's happening.
- 52:30Speaker 2: And then you're like, oh.
- 52:31Speaker 1: So it's the same thing with perimenopause for me. I
- 52:34Speaker 1: will miss my period for like two months and I'm like, Oh,
- 52:37Speaker 1: I've started it. Or I'll get hot flashes at night
- 52:39Speaker 1: for like a little bit. And then I'm like, Oh,
- 52:41Speaker 1: that's it.
- 52:42Speaker 2: I'm now, you know, not a woman anymore, whatever. I'm
- 52:44Speaker 2: like freaking out.
- 52:45Speaker 1: And then all of a sudden I'll get my period
- 52:47Speaker 1: and I won't have any hot flashes or I'll realize
- 52:49Speaker 1: I got COVID and that's what happened there. You know?
- 52:52Speaker 5: Yeah. I have a trusted brand product for you. Oh, okay.
- 52:55Speaker 1: Tell me.
- 52:55Speaker 5: It's called UVA. And it's started by a doctor and
- 52:59Speaker 5: she's really, really amazing. And she had a fertility journey
- 53:02Speaker 5: that started, made her start her company. So she has
- 53:05Speaker 5: two different tests. It's an at home hormone test that
- 53:09Speaker 5: you can do. You just, basically pee on a stick,
- 53:11Speaker 5: which if you've been pregnant, tried to get pregnant, thought
- 53:13Speaker 5: you might be pregnant. You've done that before, right? We're
- 53:16Speaker 5: all pros at peeing on sticks, basically. And she's created
- 53:21Speaker 5: this really amazing company that is in our trusted brand marketplace,
- 53:24Speaker 5: which I am so, so proud of because if this
- 53:26Speaker 5: had existed when I was going through all of my
- 53:29Speaker 5: hormonal issues, it would have been, I think a very
- 53:32Speaker 5: different situation for me because I would have, instead of
- 53:35Speaker 5: sitting in the doctor's office saying, I'm feeling this, please
- 53:37Speaker 5: help me. It would have been, this is what my
- 53:40Speaker 5: body's doing. Please look at this graph and tell me
- 53:43Speaker 5: how we're going to fix it.
- 53:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:44Speaker 5: So you get your test kit. She has one for fertility.
- 53:48Speaker 5: If you're trying to get pregnant and you want to
- 53:49Speaker 5: see what your body is doing. And she has one
- 53:51Speaker 5: for perimenopause. So you can also see what your body
- 53:53Speaker 5: is doing. So you get your kit, you get your
- 53:55Speaker 5: little P strips, you download her app, which is entirely
- 53:58Speaker 5: HIPAA compliant. It's can be shared with your doctor. It's
- 54:02Speaker 5: all very secure. You pee on the stick. You follow
- 54:06Speaker 5: the instructions. Obviously you pee on the stick. And you
- 54:09Speaker 5: scan it with your phone.
- 54:11Speaker 2: Okay.
- 54:12Speaker 5: There's like a little QR code on it. And you
- 54:14Speaker 5: scan it with your phone. And it puts it into
- 54:16Speaker 5: the app. And over several days, it creates a graph
- 54:19Speaker 5: of exactly what your hormones are doing every day.
- 54:21Speaker 2: Oh, my God. I need to do this.
- 54:22Speaker 5: Wow. And it's like 95% accurate, which is the same
- 54:25Speaker 5: as if you did a blood test every day.
- 54:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 54:27Speaker 5: Same accuracy. But it's at home.
- 54:29Speaker 6: Yes.
- 54:30Speaker 2: I love that.
- 54:30Speaker 5: And then you get a snapshot. So you can do
- 54:32Speaker 5: it for a month and see what your body is
- 54:33Speaker 5: doing for a month. You can do it for three months,
- 54:35Speaker 5: which would give you a really good snapshot.
- 54:37Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 54:38Speaker 5: You can do it for fertility. You can see exactly
- 54:40Speaker 5: when you ovulate. You can see exactly what your levels
- 54:43Speaker 5: are at. So for me, mine would have shown your
- 54:46Speaker 5: body produces zero progesterone. Zero. And progesterone is the feel-good hormone.
- 54:51Speaker 5: So when you don't have that, you feel like absolute garbage.
- 54:54Speaker 1: And then once you have that knowledge, you can go
- 54:56Speaker 1: back onto your website, into your marketplace, and see what
- 55:00Speaker 1: What might help you?
- 55:01Speaker 2: And yeah, what might help you?
- 55:02Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 55:03Speaker 5: Or you can bring your doctor or your naturopath or your,
- 55:06Speaker 5: you guys have physician assistants or those?
- 55:08Speaker 2: Yes.
- 55:09Speaker 5: Yeah. We don't have those in Canada, but all these
- 55:11Speaker 5: varying levels of healthcare, depending on what you like, what
- 55:13Speaker 5: you're comfortable with.
- 55:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:15Speaker 1: Nowadays it's like tele- medicine or something, you know?
- 55:18Speaker 5: I think that's great too.
- 55:20Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 55:20Speaker 1: So people can just kind of go online and hire
- 55:23Speaker 1: somebody for a hundred bucks or whatever it is to
- 55:25Speaker 1: look at their results for stuff.
- 55:26Speaker 2: So you don't have to make an appointment.
- 55:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:28Speaker 1: That always takes, you know, a couple months or whatever.
- 55:30Speaker 1: Makes it convenient, which is really nice.
- 55:32Speaker 5: And then you share your results with them and see
- 55:34Speaker 5: what their suggestions are and choose what feels right to you.
- 55:37Speaker 5: But that one's really great. It's really cool to have
- 55:39Speaker 5: an actual snapshot.
- 55:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah. No, that sounds amazing. I'm going to get
- 55:42Speaker 1: it for sure.
- 55:43Speaker 2: So, all right.
- 55:44Speaker 1: You guys that are listening, I think, or watching, I
- 55:46Speaker 1: think that this is obviously, you know, a company that's
- 55:49Speaker 1: really interesting because you can find something for yourself and
- 55:52Speaker 1: your own wellness. But like, if you have a woman
- 55:54Speaker 1: in your life, which we all do, you know, these
- 55:58Speaker 1: are great gifts and, you know, great ideas for Mother's
- 56:00Speaker 1: Day or birthdays or whatever, because I can already think
- 56:02Speaker 1: of like five people that, you know, would like this
- 56:06Speaker 1: better than like, you know, going to dinner, you know,
- 56:08Speaker 1: like that, that's like a nice, a really thoughtful gift.
- 56:11Speaker 5: I literally give the bison to everybody.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:13Speaker 5: My whole family. I'm like, Take this. I promise you're
- 56:16Speaker 5: going to feel great.
- 56:17Speaker 1: Remind people of your website and also how to find you.
- 56:19Speaker 5: HolisticGoddess.com and at Holistic Goddess Life on Instagram.
- 56:24Speaker 2: Okay.
- 56:24Speaker 1: And do you look at your DMs if people want
- 56:26Speaker 1: to write you?
- 56:26Speaker 6: We do.
- 56:27Speaker 5: Okay. Awesome.
- 56:28Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
- 56:29Speaker 1: I really appreciate your time and we will be in
- 56:31Speaker 1: touch obviously, but I'm going to make sure that we
- 56:35Speaker 1: talk in six months specifically about my site, about how
- 56:39Speaker 1: I'm feeling and You know, I'll do a follow up
- 56:41Speaker 1: on my show to let people know, like, you know,
- 56:44Speaker 1: the differences, because I do think it's important for people
- 56:47Speaker 1: to take their own health into account and anything they're doing. And,
- 56:51Speaker 1: you know, I've been someone who's been given a lot
- 56:53Speaker 1: of vitamins. They are all I was laughing yesterday because
- 56:56Speaker 1: I was going through my closet. They're all sitting there.
- 56:58Speaker 1: The cap's still on it.
- 57:00Speaker 2: You know, whatever. I mean, the seal is still on it.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Or I've opened them and I'm like, oh my God,
- 57:05Speaker 1: I've got to take four of these and they're huge
- 57:07Speaker 1: pills and whatever.
- 57:08Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 57:08Speaker 2: And I just don't make it a part of my life.
- 57:10Speaker 1: But this is so much easier. I can leave it
- 57:11Speaker 1: on my counter, as you said, because it's pretty.
- 57:13Speaker 7: It's beautiful.
- 57:14Speaker 1: And I'm going to commit to doing it and see what.
- 57:17Speaker 2: Happens and I'll let people know.
- 57:18Speaker 6: Amazing.
- 57:19Speaker 2: And you know what happens. So thank you.
- 57:20Speaker 5: Thank you. Thanks for having me.
