Transcript
- 0:06Speaker 1: Hi there, My name is Chris Farah. Welcome back to
- 0:08Speaker 1: Vanity Farra with Chris Farrah, a special just solo episode
- 0:13Speaker 1: where today we're talking ninety day fiances before the ninety days.
- 0:17Speaker 1: This is season eight, Episode eight. For your safety, please
- 0:21Speaker 1: remain seated. Did anyone play Crazy Eights growing up? It's
- 0:28Speaker 1: kind of like Uno, but if you just had regular
- 0:32Speaker 1: cards and didn't have like this fancy Uno deck. I
- 0:35Speaker 1: don't know, all right, my loves. I feel like I
- 0:39Speaker 1: have been talking up this season, but some things about
- 0:43Speaker 1: this season's production are getting a little heavy handed for me.
- 0:48Speaker 1: So I'm talking about that because I want them to
- 0:52Speaker 1: lay off some of the necessary drama convoluted moments. I'm
- 1:00Speaker 1: going to bring one up when I get there. But
- 1:02Speaker 1: it just seems to me that there could be more
- 1:06Speaker 1: happening and also maybe just a little bit of like
- 1:10Speaker 1: freedom to just record and see what happens in an
- 1:14Speaker 1: interesting environment rather than trying to manufacture something I don't know,
- 1:20Speaker 1: or at least do more research and due diligence in
- 1:25Speaker 1: their story and background so that when you do plan
- 1:28Speaker 1: their days, you can kind of micromanaged situations and where
- 1:32Speaker 1: you feel like you can have honest real sincere conversations
- 1:37Speaker 1: about either the relationship or putting them in situations where
- 1:41Speaker 1: they're tested for things you know might be triggers, Like
- 1:44Speaker 1: you know, I don't know. I think that there's just
- 1:46Speaker 1: better ways to do without some of the things. Anyway,
- 1:48Speaker 1: let's just get into it. So okay, let's talk for Sinshena.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Now you know, I'm trying to, I guess, make a
- 1:59Speaker 1: play for myself where I'm like a friend of yours
- 2:03Speaker 1: that does like more research than you when they're watching
- 2:07Speaker 1: the show, but like not so much research that I
- 2:10Speaker 1: can hang my hat on being any sort of like
- 2:12Speaker 1: journalist or professor or you know, like I'm kind of
- 2:17Speaker 1: like your dumb, stupid friend that like pretends to be
- 2:19Speaker 1: smart sometimes about things. So having said that, we never
- 2:23Speaker 1: know anything about reality when it comes to what I'm saying.
- 2:25Speaker 1: But let me just tell you Forrest and Sheena on
- 2:28Speaker 1: Reddit and the streets are being torn apart because and
- 2:33Speaker 1: by the torn apart, I mean they're very confused. They're
- 2:37Speaker 1: presenting a very confusing storyline with some drama, which is
- 2:42Speaker 1: like Forrest is just seeing her parents for the first time,
- 2:46Speaker 1: seeing this air and BnB for the first time. All
- 2:49Speaker 1: of that except there are pictures I guess unless they're
- 2:54Speaker 1: differently marked from like twenty twenty one or twenty nineteen,
- 3:01Speaker 1: like years in which we know preceded the filming of this,
- 3:05Speaker 1: So now there might be a logical explanation those pictures
- 3:09Speaker 1: might be wrong. Again, this is where I'm like, you know,
- 3:11Speaker 1: you can't hang your hat on exactly what I'm saying.
- 3:13Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't make those picks. I'm just
- 3:14Speaker 1: telling you what I've been reading on Reddit. That's what
- 3:16Speaker 1: I'm telling you. Okay, So that part this is that's
- 3:20Speaker 1: frustrating because even if you didn't have that information in
- 3:26Speaker 1: if we're to believe it's not true, enough of them
- 3:30Speaker 1: is enough. They are enough, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 3:35Speaker 1: you didn't have to do that. So obviously we're let's
- 3:38Speaker 1: get into the story. We're coming up in the fact
- 3:40Speaker 1: that Forrest has seen Sheena's parents' place and it's great,
- 3:45Speaker 1: really nice, and not decrepit or falling apart or dilapidated
- 3:49Speaker 1: or in needing of funds or and you know, she's
- 3:54Speaker 1: but I say she and his parents. It's her dad, Steve,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and her sister. Her mom is somewhere else, and Force
- 3:59Speaker 1: is like, and they're very nice. I don't understand, like
- 4:03Speaker 1: she know what's up, and she tries to kind of
- 4:06Speaker 1: like talk around it. She dodges it in a way
- 4:10Speaker 1: by being like, well, now you're here, let's move on. Yeah,
- 4:12Speaker 1: Like you know, I don't know what you were expecting.
- 4:15Speaker 1: And he's like, I was expecting what you said. Okay,
- 4:18Speaker 1: So that's one part. So he's getting coffee in the morning.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I mean, they're setup is great, and he knows it.
- 4:26Speaker 1: He does a little coffee shuffle dance. But like someone
- 4:29Speaker 1: who appreciates the best pod of Waken Up, isn't for me,
- 4:34Speaker 1: nspresso in your cup, you know, like he and I
- 4:38Speaker 1: don't know if it's a pour over what he's getting,
- 4:39Speaker 1: but I mean he is shuffling there, and it's a
- 4:41Speaker 1: little two step. Obviously, Shena and Forrest have preceded Molly,
- 4:48Speaker 1: and now Mollie is coming with our favorite person in
- 4:51Speaker 1: the entire world that's deaf. And when Forrest and Shena
- 4:55Speaker 1: go to greet Molly as she drives up, they assume.
- 4:58Speaker 1: What I can only say, isn't this like a defensive position.
- 5:04Speaker 1: It's like football if I knew football, where people lock
- 5:07Speaker 1: arms it's kind of like football slash Red Rover. I
- 5:12Speaker 1: don't know why I keep bringing up like old gangs
- 5:15Speaker 1: for my youth. I'm just a sentimental gal. I guess
- 5:18Speaker 1: Red Rover, honey, can you believe it?
- 5:20Speaker 2: Us?
- 5:20Speaker 3: Pull that up?
- 5:21Speaker 1: What? And on the Traders episode, I brought up seven up,
- 5:24Speaker 1: heads up, seven up? I mean, you know, I'm like
- 5:27Speaker 1: someone who I'm already I think maybe like in Alzheimer's
- 5:31Speaker 1: or whatever late stages where like now I just regress
- 5:33Speaker 1: and can only remember like the first ten years of
- 5:35Speaker 1: my life. Okay, so that's not true. Who are you kidding?
- 5:39Speaker 1: We're talking about I know what it is, a fiance,
- 5:42Speaker 1: so I'm playing. Okay. So obviously Sina again now gets
- 5:46Speaker 1: to show dev and Molly the entire beautiful Airbnb. That's
- 5:51Speaker 1: surely not one of the reasons why they're on the show,
- 5:53Speaker 1: not to like, you know, get people to sign up.
- 5:55Speaker 1: It's great. It's all the things She's like, look at
- 5:57Speaker 1: this fruit, look at that fruit. They're like, oh my god,
- 5:59Speaker 1: so many fruits, you know, flowering, this flowering that. Mollie's like,
- 6:04Speaker 1: they're living better than Forrests and I live in the
- 6:07Speaker 1: United States, the USA is what she says, Now, I
- 6:11Speaker 1: love this for everyone. I love this for everyone everyone involved,
- 6:15Speaker 1: Like I love this for everyone watching who's like assuming
- 6:18Speaker 1: that the American lives are better. I love this for
- 6:20Speaker 1: Molly in Forest. I love this for Sheena's parents. Now, Sheena,
- 6:27Speaker 1: I wonder why she didn't do any due diligence or
- 6:32Speaker 1: preparation in like how she was going to handle this situation.
- 6:36Speaker 1: She surely didn't give Forrest a heads up. I feel
- 6:40Speaker 1: like Sheina, Okay, I'll say what I said. Okay, so
- 6:44Speaker 1: they're showing around. That happens Steve and dev Meat, all
- 6:47Speaker 1: the parents shake hands and like cut jackfruit, it's not
- 6:50Speaker 1: quite ripe enough. And then Sheena is going to do
- 6:54Speaker 1: a bottle fight. And now you know, I wish Christina
- 6:57Speaker 1: was here so she can give us, you know, full
- 6:59Speaker 1: on bottle fight info, which obviously, if you watch the episode,
- 7:03Speaker 1: they did a good job though. So basically it's when
- 7:05Speaker 1: you see people or Filipino culture. But I don't know
- 7:08Speaker 1: if it's just I'm not quite sure. That part lays
- 7:11Speaker 1: out a beautiful feast just on banana leaves, and you
- 7:15Speaker 1: kind of put the food down the line so everyone
- 7:21Speaker 1: has equal access to anything they want in arms reach,
- 7:25Speaker 1: and arms reach is definitely what you would have to
- 7:27Speaker 1: use your arm. You know what I'm saying. And it's
- 7:31Speaker 1: family style. I love family style. You know, it's feasty.
- 7:35Speaker 1: It's very culturally culturally no come on, christ culture, yes,
- 7:41Speaker 1: well okay, And I'll give Molly this like Sheen's like,
- 7:45Speaker 1: and I know Mollie will love it. And I love
- 7:48Speaker 1: any American who appreciates any culture. So like, you know,
- 7:51Speaker 1: we're gonna we talked to a lot of it about Molly.
- 7:52Speaker 1: So Mollie likes this, you know, we're like, oh good.
- 7:55Speaker 1: You know Molly isn't gonna be like ew, I need
- 7:59Speaker 1: plastic you know, oh orks, I don't know. Great, Molly's
- 8:03Speaker 1: into it now, I mean, Molly's into it, honey. Dev
- 8:07Speaker 1: Dev Dev can't even be paying attention to all of
- 8:11Speaker 1: the drama at the table. Dev is deep in this
- 8:14Speaker 1: shrimp and rice. Honey. Dev is dreaming about the burgers,
- 8:18Speaker 1: the strip club burgers, or thinking that they're about to
- 8:20Speaker 1: be dethroned. Dev can't even hear what's happening. And I'll
- 8:24Speaker 1: tell you what's happening around Dev. Basically, Molly is like, wow,
- 8:28Speaker 1: this is beautiful and you've really shown us a great experience.
- 8:32Speaker 1: You're hosting us so nicely, so what I should only
- 8:35Speaker 1: do is.
- 8:36Speaker 3: Ruin it by telling you your daughter, who has lied
- 8:41Speaker 3: to us the entire time, has been lying about you,
- 8:46Speaker 3: your daughter.
- 8:47Speaker 1: And then oh wait, I miss a part. Well that's fine, okay,
- 8:51Speaker 1: let me okay, so that she's sorry, I miss one part.
- 8:54Speaker 1: This conversation happens because they add in a molly voice
- 9:00Speaker 1: that you can tell when you're watching doesn't happen in
- 9:03Speaker 1: real time. So basically they're trying to hint around the
- 9:06Speaker 1: fact that this is like, you know, very nice or whatever,
- 9:09Speaker 1: and what are they gonna do with Sheena leaving or whatever?
- 9:11Speaker 1: And they say, oh, you know, she Anda's whole dream
- 9:15Speaker 1: was to work in the USA, and which is a
- 9:17Speaker 1: little bit like huh, you know what I'm saying, And
- 9:20Speaker 1: they cut to Sina right away, and then her dad
- 9:23Speaker 1: is like, yeah, yeah, you know, she does help us here.
- 9:27Speaker 1: But we also wanted to question what's happening with Forrest
- 9:32Speaker 1: because if you ask us if we're okay, if she
- 9:34Speaker 1: is leaving, like the obvious question would be who's going
- 9:38Speaker 1: to take care of her and our daughter? And does
- 9:41Speaker 1: that person have the capability and means to do so.
- 9:43Speaker 1: And then that's when Molly's voiceover comes in and she says,
- 9:47Speaker 1: let's put Forrest's finances to the side. And I was like,
- 9:52Speaker 1: because in real life, there's no way in which Molly's
- 9:55Speaker 1: mind would say Forest his finances to the side, Like,
- 9:57Speaker 1: let's stop talking about Forest for a second, you know,
- 10:00Speaker 1: Like she wouldn't say that. That's why I was just
- 10:02Speaker 1: I clocked it. And then that's when she said, I
- 10:05Speaker 1: heard you've been taking all of Sheena's earnings. And she
- 10:09Speaker 1: told us that if you didn't give her the money,
- 10:11Speaker 1: she would that you would be abusive to her. And
- 10:15Speaker 1: they're like, what what. She's like, yeah, that's what she said.
- 10:18Speaker 1: She like fully tattletales on Sheina de Sheena's parents. Sheina's like,
- 10:22Speaker 1: oh my god, you know I'm saying she and his
- 10:24Speaker 1: dad's like, did you say that? And then Sheina just well,
- 10:27Speaker 1: Sheina starts the water works. She didn't really just you know,
- 10:29Speaker 1: she does really she really just like she disintegrates into
- 10:32Speaker 1: her to a crying fit. Now it's interesting because we've
- 10:35Speaker 1: seen this before, and when we saw this before, she
- 10:40Speaker 1: was obviously being targeted by Molly, and everyone was like
- 10:46Speaker 1: stop it stop stop doing that to our Shena. And
- 10:49Speaker 1: we still love Sheena, but it was interesting to watch
- 10:52Speaker 1: us again when now we know that she definitely did lie.
- 10:55Speaker 1: I mean, and she's definitely not able to take accounting, accountability,
- 11:02Speaker 1: accountability for it, not just own it in a very
- 11:05Speaker 1: honest way. And she obviously has some well obviously she
- 11:11Speaker 1: I assume has well, I think that she has a
- 11:13Speaker 1: couple less some processing and like, you know, emotional, interesting
- 11:19Speaker 1: divergent vibes, and so I I don't you know, no
- 11:25Speaker 1: one is, no one's like putting anyone's feet to the fire.
- 11:27Speaker 1: But to watch her kind of disintegrate to tears again
- 11:30Speaker 1: made it a little bit less easy for us to
- 11:34Speaker 1: have as much empathy as we did before. Molly's so
- 11:37Speaker 1: happy to have someone to like point at she and
- 11:39Speaker 1: I'd be like, look, see is what I've been saying
- 11:42Speaker 1: she and not basically is like this, it's I lied
- 11:46Speaker 1: because it's hard to save money. It's really hard for
- 11:49Speaker 1: me to save money. And she also said that she'd
- 11:51Speaker 1: gave some money to her parents. It's true, but also
- 11:53Speaker 1: that it's hard to save money for her because and okay,
- 11:56Speaker 1: because obviously she has to pay for the entirety for
- 11:59Speaker 1: her to get the visa and all that stuff, and
- 12:02Speaker 1: we assume it could be hard, probably to save money.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I wonder what she's spending money on that. I'm like,
- 12:05Speaker 1: what is it? Girl? Is it pikachuw things? What was
- 12:08Speaker 1: is it? La boo boos? Girl? What is your thing?
- 12:10Speaker 1: I also feel like I'm one hundred percent interested in
- 12:15Speaker 1: going back to the where's Force's financial stake in this?
- 12:20Speaker 1: And I dare say it's one of the undercurrents of
- 12:25Speaker 1: why Sheena she hasn't said this feels okay with the
- 12:31Speaker 1: lying and how long it's been or whatever, because I
- 12:33Speaker 1: think that Sina, if we're to believe everything we're given right,
- 12:36Speaker 1: feels like Sina wishes that Forest had his shit together
- 12:39Speaker 1: a little more so that he could be like an
- 12:42Speaker 1: equal partner in this and therefore give her money, you know,
- 12:46Speaker 1: to help her come over and also have a money
- 12:49Speaker 1: money and a job there so that when she gets
- 12:52Speaker 1: there and can't work, right, you know, they have a life.
- 12:57Speaker 1: But the truth of the matter is that's a like,
- 13:00Speaker 1: what is their plan? She can't possibly have enough money
- 13:04Speaker 1: saved to like have the two years without her being
- 13:07Speaker 1: able to work to live in America for her. I mean,
- 13:11Speaker 1: I would need to know what the numbers of that
- 13:13Speaker 1: looks like, what she thinks, because if we're also to
- 13:15Speaker 1: believe that Forrest doesn't have a job, then who's sponsoring her?
- 13:19Speaker 1: Who's doing the whole like ten thousand thing, ten thousand
- 13:22Speaker 1: dollars ten year situation? You know, I'm talking about you know,
- 13:25Speaker 1: numbers and me. But you know, like it's yeah, it's
- 13:28Speaker 1: the kind of conversations that I wish we would be having,
- 13:32Speaker 1: especially if there's anything false afoot, then I'm like, can
- 13:35Speaker 1: we be having these conversations anyway? So? Or can we
- 13:39Speaker 1: have a conversation about how it's her dream to move
- 13:41Speaker 1: to America? Is it true? And why don't we have
- 13:44Speaker 1: more information about that? Who are she in his's best
- 13:46Speaker 1: friends that she have any best friends? Are the only
- 13:48Speaker 1: the animals? What does she in's house look like? And
- 13:50Speaker 1: what is she gonna do when she gets home? And
- 13:52Speaker 1: also can we watch you know, watching Forrest? And can
- 13:56Speaker 1: we talk more about the kink? Okay, so, but let's
- 14:01Speaker 1: get back to what I can only talk about, which
- 14:03Speaker 1: is what it's in front of me. Even though obviously
- 14:05Speaker 1: my DHD ADHD mind is you know, blaring all the
- 14:07Speaker 1: other thoughts. Her parents are like, yeah, she gave us money,
- 14:12Speaker 1: but we never like forced her and the money is
- 14:14Speaker 1: like alone, like it's always been alone, you know, and
- 14:17Speaker 1: we can give it back to her. And Sheen is crying,
- 14:20Speaker 1: you know, she is crying at the table. She cries
- 14:22Speaker 1: and a confessional and says she's sorry. And then like,
- 14:26Speaker 1: this is another opportunity where it's like, Okay, it's alone
- 14:30Speaker 1: that she's given you and you can get it back
- 14:32Speaker 1: once the sister goes over the books or whatever. But
- 14:35Speaker 1: what is that loan? You're gonna give that money? And
- 14:38Speaker 1: again is that what Sheina thinks she's going to live
- 14:40Speaker 1: off of? Forest then brings up four K for the visa,
- 14:44Speaker 1: which is like okay, so again Forest thinking this money
- 14:47Speaker 1: is for the visa, and Forrest then is like, yeah,
- 14:50Speaker 1: we need that money for the visa. And I even
- 14:53Speaker 1: think in this moment when he says it, I'm like
- 14:56Speaker 1: not even the sister is going to be like, well, Forest,
- 14:58Speaker 1: how about you putting up for that? I mean also
- 15:01Speaker 1: for us? Yeah, like, how are you gonna take care
- 15:02Speaker 1: of my sister when she can't work? There? Mollie, what
- 15:07Speaker 1: did you think? Dev I know you're enjoying the grilled shrimp,
- 15:11Speaker 1: but like, can you put it down for a second?
- 15:13Speaker 1: And I don't pay attention to what's happening here. I mean,
- 15:15Speaker 1: you know, dev tunes out in such a way I
- 15:17Speaker 1: can't even imagine. I mean, the compartmentalization that that man
- 15:21Speaker 1: probably has to do, like on a daily like minute
- 15:24Speaker 1: by second by second basis is fascinating to me. Okay,
- 15:30Speaker 1: So moving on Lisa and Daniel. So it's back at
- 15:36Speaker 1: the place and he's teaching her how to dress in
- 15:40Speaker 1: the new found accouterments they've picked up, and he is
- 15:45Speaker 1: putting on her outerwear and he's like, Okay, we're going
- 15:48Speaker 1: to go visit my uncle, and you have to kneel
- 15:51Speaker 1: and you have to hold the wine, and then you're
- 15:54Speaker 1: going to pass the wine, not to my uncle, to me,
- 15:57Speaker 1: and then I will give it to my uncle. She's like, okay,
- 15:59Speaker 1: now I'm give this to my girl, Lisa. She looks great.
- 16:03Speaker 1: She's wearing like a white islet shirt. Now it's demure.
- 16:06Speaker 1: There's not a titty to be had. She has, you know,
- 16:09Speaker 1: the wig. The wig looks on and you know, so
- 16:15Speaker 1: it's she's doing like a kind of like a tendrils thing.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Kind of like two things in the front, you know,
- 16:19Speaker 1: I think it's wispy. Now it comes time to the
- 16:21Speaker 1: hair rap and yeah, like everyone really expected Lisa to
- 16:25Speaker 1: really pick up how to do that hair wrap one
- 16:27Speaker 1: and done without watching anything. It's like, okay, I can
- 16:30Speaker 1: see what you're doing by not nothing, but I can
- 16:33Speaker 1: just feel, yeah, just wrap that like that, wrap that
- 16:35Speaker 1: like that. Yeah. I knew in that moment that it'd
- 16:38Speaker 1: be crazy. I don't understand why everyone's expecting so much
- 16:40Speaker 1: of Lisa, Like I don't want to be on Lisa's side,
- 16:42Speaker 1: but yeah, they Daniel is expecting absolutely too much. So yeah,
- 16:45Speaker 1: she's like, you have to help me. You're insane. I
- 16:48Speaker 1: cannot see what was happening, And so he does, and
- 16:50Speaker 1: then he has. He's talking about it. It's like, well, yeah,
- 16:53Speaker 1: why wouldn't you you know how to do it. He's like, yeah,
- 16:55Speaker 1: well I did watch my mom do it every day
- 16:58Speaker 1: of my life until she died. And like sad, but boy,
- 17:02Speaker 1: it'd be great to put those skills to use right now.
- 17:04Speaker 1: And this one white woman who's never seen it because
- 17:06Speaker 1: she didn't see it, she felt it kind of okay.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Then they get in the vehicle to go to visit
- 17:15Speaker 1: his uncle, and both are nervous. Yeah, both are nervous.
- 17:17Speaker 1: And now he at first it is like dopely nervous
- 17:19Speaker 1: to her, but in their confessionals both admit nervousness. Now,
- 17:22Speaker 1: of course she's nervous. Right now, we get to the
- 17:25Speaker 1: where the uncle is, and I mean the uncle is
- 17:28Speaker 1: hanging out at a place called nook Hub, and there's
- 17:32Speaker 1: lots of pink and purple lights. It's kind of like
- 17:36Speaker 1: an after hour's peach pit vibe with people drinking coronas
- 17:41Speaker 1: and wearing loafers. I mean, I did not like it. No,
- 17:44Speaker 1: I liked it nook Hub. I can't go always to
- 17:49Speaker 1: a place in pink and purple lighting. It's obviously a lot.
- 17:52Speaker 1: It's a vibe, you know, like Eddie lighting is a vibe.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Red lighting is a vibe. Obviously gold or of like
- 18:00Speaker 1: yellow lighting is, you know what I am having my
- 18:02Speaker 1: household and you know, don't have a lot of white lighting.
- 18:05Speaker 1: But he looks like he is the fucking mayor. He
- 18:09Speaker 1: looks like he is the beer Khan of this place.
- 18:12Speaker 1: He's like I don't know if he owns the place
- 18:14Speaker 1: or whatever, but he's always there, you know, And there's
- 18:16Speaker 1: like a kind of upper level throne style section that
- 18:22Speaker 1: he's on, and as they approach, I will give this
- 18:26Speaker 1: to Daniel. Daniel thinks that what they should do is
- 18:29Speaker 1: like go up to the throne and then Neil on
- 18:33Speaker 1: the throne, because he knows that they're supposed to kneel
- 18:35Speaker 1: he been telling Lisa. However, what he decides to do
- 18:38Speaker 1: in that moment is like go up the steps and
- 18:41Speaker 1: the uncle's like, absolutely fucking not. Do you know who
- 18:43Speaker 1: I am? And do you know who you are? Get
- 18:45Speaker 1: back down there on your niece. That is a princess
- 18:51Speaker 1: bride reverence. If you wonder, if you're wondering, if you're
- 18:56Speaker 1: like why is that familiar, or if you're like Christen,
- 18:59Speaker 1: make a stupid no, I need reference this episode, check
- 19:02Speaker 1: and check. Okay. So then my uncle starts off nice, Okay,
- 19:06Speaker 1: He's like, my good lady, how are you? And she's
- 19:09Speaker 1: like nervous, thanks for asking, and then he's like who
- 19:15Speaker 1: are you? Lisa opens her mouth and she's like, well,
- 19:20Speaker 1: I'm an orphan. My parents died and then a very
- 19:22Speaker 1: nice family raised me. I'm American, I I'm also Irish.
- 19:25Speaker 1: I'm Irish, amya, I I am Irish American nol An
- 19:28Speaker 1: Irish American orphan died, parents died, and then Tato Famina
- 19:33Speaker 1: vital Oh, she's like, you know, like, oh my god,
- 19:35Speaker 1: what is real? What's not? Because we already know what
- 19:37Speaker 1: she's gonna lie or whatever. And then she says, I'm
- 19:40Speaker 1: a hard worker and a Christian, and we surely know
- 19:42Speaker 1: those two things are not true, so we have to
- 19:46Speaker 1: assume that nothing is. We were like Lisa, Lisa's is
- 19:52Speaker 1: like answers to this man is like okay, all right.
- 19:57Speaker 1: So I got really into tepeeing when I was like
- 19:59Speaker 1: inju in your highs because like Ash probably was like
- 20:01Speaker 1: too old to be doing and I was just like
- 20:02Speaker 1: in seventh grade and who know, I was like seventh
- 20:04Speaker 1: grade or whatever, and like but I went to Catholic school,
- 20:06Speaker 1: so like I basically had nothing, you know, I was
- 20:08Speaker 1: like such a goody two shoes and Arabic Arabic Catholic
- 20:10Speaker 1: God bless and you know a bushi iborrow who knew
- 20:14Speaker 1: so all this to say t peeing was my thing
- 20:16Speaker 1: or whatever, and I got really cocky about it, like
- 20:18Speaker 1: also because my dad would help me, because you know,
- 20:20Speaker 1: I think that my dad's like a little bit of
- 20:22Speaker 1: like a shitster and like you know, only had me
- 20:24Speaker 1: or whatever, and you know, it was just like needed
- 20:26Speaker 1: to like get some you know, like pranks shit out.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I would you know, men are like boys are like
- 20:31Speaker 1: that whatever. I don't know boys men. I don't know men.
- 20:34Speaker 1: So basically, okay, back to me. All this to say,
- 20:38Speaker 1: I t peed like so many people's houses, right like
- 20:41Speaker 1: every guy that like I cared about, and all the
- 20:44Speaker 1: ones I didn't, you know, the ones that are mean
- 20:45Speaker 1: to me, like you know, maybe or maybe not, Like
- 20:47Speaker 1: I tpied like my science teacher's house, like I just
- 20:50Speaker 1: I don't know why, and it's like what I tpied
- 20:52Speaker 1: this like girl's house. I was my friend but also
- 20:54Speaker 1: my friend. I mean like I just like you know,
- 20:56Speaker 1: I went up and down the list, and people tpeed
- 20:58Speaker 1: my house, you know, like but barely because it was
- 21:00Speaker 1: like hard to There weren't that many trees in my house,
- 21:02Speaker 1: so it had been like awkward, but like mostly the
- 21:03Speaker 1: t beat the grass, which was annoying because and then
- 21:06Speaker 1: like the sprinklers came on. If you have to like
- 21:08Speaker 1: ever get wet tepee out of I'm saying toilet paper.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I don't want, you know, toilet paper out of foliage.
- 21:15Speaker 1: It's obviously annoying trees even more. Anyway, Uh, one time
- 21:20Speaker 1: I got I told you one to my dad. I yeah,
- 21:22Speaker 1: I got talked to by my school because I tepeed
- 21:26Speaker 1: my science teacher's house, you know, and like my dad
- 21:29Speaker 1: had like a very specific car and we lived like,
- 21:34Speaker 1: you know, like not in a big city, you know,
- 21:35Speaker 1: like people knew each it. So it was just so stupid.
- 21:37Speaker 1: So anyway, but so the way that Lisa is getting
- 21:41Speaker 1: interrogated by Daniel's uncle is very like little kid like
- 21:46Speaker 1: I wouldn't teepee missus Bowman's house. No, I wasn't there
- 21:50Speaker 1: on Friday at ten forty two. No I didn't stop
- 21:54Speaker 1: by the routs twenty minutes earlier, or someone saw me
- 21:57Speaker 1: grabbing seven different thing a four P four virall. I
- 22:01Speaker 1: don't know, you know what I'm saying, Like I it's
- 22:03Speaker 1: just obviously she's lying, and obviously she's shit scared, and
- 22:06Speaker 1: obviously she doesn't She's just going to open her mouth
- 22:09Speaker 1: and say, you know, a bunch of bullshit. And he's like, Okay,
- 22:13Speaker 1: I can't let you talk. I'm just gonna get right
- 22:15Speaker 1: to the specifics. He's like, do you drink. She's like, yeah,
- 22:19Speaker 1: muh a little sometimes I have uh huh, palm wine.
- 22:23Speaker 1: Can't be that bad. She's also gonna be like this Christian, Honey,
- 22:26Speaker 1: I'll tell you what we do in the American Christians.
- 22:27Speaker 1: We'd be drinking. We'd drink. It's fine. Do I say Irish? Irish?
- 22:31Speaker 1: I don't know that's racist of me, you know what
- 22:33Speaker 1: I'm saying. She could she could just be like, I'm
- 22:35Speaker 1: Irish Catholic, So we drink. You know, we like are
- 22:38Speaker 1: in that's part of it. Okay. So she's like, do
- 22:42Speaker 1: you smoke? And she says no, and we're like Lisa,
- 22:47Speaker 1: because we've seen her just you know, take down a
- 22:49Speaker 1: vape pet. But then that's what I'm saying, Like I
- 22:51Speaker 1: think that she's like, this bitch should smoke. I'm not smoking.
- 22:55Speaker 1: I'm vaping. Yeah, I vape. He didn't say vape smoke.
- 22:58Speaker 1: We all know what smoke means. Burning. You incinerate something
- 23:02Speaker 1: and then you suck the incinerated flame thing and you're
- 23:06Speaker 1: into your mouth and you hold it. I mean, yeah,
- 23:08Speaker 1: I know what smoking is, you know. Yeah. Also, no,
- 23:11Speaker 1: I'm not gonna I'm gonna lie about everything. So yeah,
- 23:13Speaker 1: and then he says, are you or were you a lesbian?
- 23:17Speaker 1: And then she's like, one time, it was a fling,
- 23:20Speaker 1: it was a one time playing, it was a one
- 23:21Speaker 1: time only, one time playing. It was a lug lug
- 23:23Speaker 1: one night only. I don't tell you. I was just
- 23:27Speaker 1: at a sappog bar and I was just overcome with
- 23:32Speaker 1: drunkenness and I fell on top of a person who
- 23:36Speaker 1: was a woman. I didn't know, I didn't know who
- 23:40Speaker 1: I and somehow, you know, like suddenly we were in
- 23:44Speaker 1: a scissoring I'm sorry, did I say that out loud?
- 23:46Speaker 2: Uncle?
- 23:46Speaker 1: I'd I mean scissoring I've been Uh, You're like, oh
- 23:49Speaker 1: my god, shut up. She's hilarious about it. But at
- 23:53Speaker 1: the same time, you know, we're on Lisa side, like,
- 23:55Speaker 1: you know, this is wild for her to have to
- 23:56Speaker 1: deal with. She of course she'd just be like, yeah,
- 23:59Speaker 1: what are you gonna about it? Because here's the thing.
- 24:01Speaker 1: Do you want this, I mean, Daniel, do you want
- 24:03Speaker 1: your mom's premonition of a white woman saving you to
- 24:05Speaker 1: come to or not? Because if not, I can leave
- 24:09Speaker 1: because I'll just be the truth. The truth is, yes,
- 24:12Speaker 1: I have been in a lesbian relationship. And the uncle's like,
- 24:15Speaker 1: I know, lesbianism is rampant in America, and you know,
- 24:23Speaker 1: I guess it's just you know, obviously the spectrum of
- 24:27Speaker 1: human experience is rampant amongst the spectrum of humans, like
- 24:33Speaker 1: period across the board. You know, like everyone is. There's
- 24:36Speaker 1: there's dumbness everywhere, there's meanness everywhere, there's kindness everywhere. There's
- 24:42Speaker 1: like intelligence everywhere, and all the different kinds of intelligence
- 24:45Speaker 1: like in every land, every culture, like you know, every person,
- 24:49Speaker 1: and people have like they're like genius music people and
- 24:54Speaker 1: they're like genius writers, you know what I'm saying. And
- 24:57Speaker 1: the storytellers and the way in you know, like there's
- 25:01Speaker 1: all the ways in which humanity excels, you know, and
- 25:06Speaker 1: certain cultures certainly have like a propensity to have like
- 25:11Speaker 1: celebrated either art forms or skills or you know whatnot.
- 25:17Speaker 1: But it's like everyone is gay everywhere, everyone's straight everywhere,
- 25:21Speaker 1: everyone is by everywhere, everyone's everywhere everywhere, everywhere, everyone is
- 25:25Speaker 1: you know, like a narcissist everywhere. Everyone is like out
- 25:29Speaker 1: for themselves everywhere. Everyone cares about their family everywhere. Everyone
- 25:35Speaker 1: wants to be loved and cared for and seen for
- 25:38Speaker 1: who they are and valued everywhere. So it's just like
- 25:41Speaker 1: it is so interesting. I don't know anytime everyone's like, oh,
- 25:45Speaker 1: lesbianism is rampant in America, as if it's not rampant
- 25:48Speaker 1: like you know in Nigeria, as if it's not you know,
- 25:52Speaker 1: like as if he this man is not you know,
- 25:54Speaker 1: this is he knows people, he he he knows people
- 25:58Speaker 1: who have seen the same section Italia. If not he has,
- 26:02Speaker 1: you know, I'm saying, of course, it's just come on.
- 26:04Speaker 1: So it's just it's just even if it's like a
- 26:06Speaker 1: culture in which you are not allowed to discuss it
- 26:08Speaker 1: or do it, I just can't believe that it doesn't happen, obviously,
- 26:13Speaker 1: because I think that naturally, in moments humanity happens, especially
- 26:19Speaker 1: if you're with someone else. I mean, I don't know anyway,
- 26:24Speaker 1: there's there's pockets, okay. So I'm saying there's pockets of
- 26:27Speaker 1: lesbianis lesbianism in Nigeria. I know there is stand up okay.
- 26:33Speaker 1: So he's basically like, do you lie? And that's like,
- 26:36Speaker 1: can I trust everything that you've said? And then she's
- 26:39Speaker 1: like everyone says a fib and I've lied, but I'm
- 26:43Speaker 1: not a liar. And I felt like that was almost
- 26:47Speaker 1: the most like polititician like statement that you could possibly say, Like,
- 26:53Speaker 1: I think it's kind of like the most genius answer
- 26:56Speaker 1: to give in that moment because she she answers the
- 27:01Speaker 1: question yes, but she tries to tiptoe out of it
- 27:05Speaker 1: being bad, and it's the you know, here's the thing.
- 27:09Speaker 1: Do you drink? Yes? And what she's saying is like
- 27:11Speaker 1: everyone drinks, buddy, do you smoke? No? What she does?
- 27:16Speaker 1: And are you a lesbian? She says yes, it was
- 27:18Speaker 1: a one time thing. But undercurrent of that is like, well,
- 27:20Speaker 1: everyone's kind is a little something sometimes. Now I'm not
- 27:22Speaker 1: saying everyone does little something some sometimes, but I'm saying
- 27:25Speaker 1: in every pocket of every world, every people there therein
- 27:29Speaker 1: lies exists. That having said that, saying that she lies
- 27:35Speaker 1: but is not a liar is like I've had sex
- 27:37Speaker 1: with that woman, not really, but you know it's like
- 27:40Speaker 1: it's like a very kind of like semantic thing that
- 27:42Speaker 1: like makes me impressed by her. Then the uncle is
- 27:46Speaker 1: so fucking confused by how to take this wild banshee
- 27:49Speaker 1: where like nothing really makes sense. He's like, Okay, is
- 27:52Speaker 1: she telling the truth to Daniel? And he's like yes,
- 27:55Speaker 1: and he's like okay, well I must in Daniel, you
- 27:58Speaker 1: mona monitor her. I'm like, okay, well, gross, she's really
- 28:02Speaker 1: rigid and scared. And then the uncle just gives them
- 28:05Speaker 1: the blessings just and ad ministers the blessings. Now, we
- 28:08Speaker 1: were told that he was going to have to go
- 28:10Speaker 1: back and have like a recess and confer with his
- 28:13Speaker 1: dad offsite, not on camera and talk about it. But
- 28:17Speaker 1: that didn't happen. Just happened there. I mean, she's over
- 28:20Speaker 1: the moon and we're like, I don't know what We're like.
- 28:23Speaker 1: We're like, oh my god, I can't believe I'm watching
- 28:25Speaker 1: this train wreck. They what We're like, I can't believe.
- 28:28Speaker 1: I can't believe I have like a front row seek
- 28:30Speaker 1: to this amtrak train wreck. And also how did I
- 28:32Speaker 1: get this? What a weird gladiator style thing I'm taking
- 28:35Speaker 1: part of? Is this right for me? And I mean,
- 28:38Speaker 1: you know then you like pause that you look at
- 28:40Speaker 1: your phone when you forget that happened, and then you're like, oh,
- 28:41Speaker 1: I'm gonna pause and watch this again, and then you
- 28:43Speaker 1: know that thought was never there. So Javon and annalyin
- 28:47Speaker 1: so they're back at the resort. It's been a couple
- 28:49Speaker 1: of days and she makes her side of the bed
- 28:53Speaker 1: and puts her stuffy down and she sees that, and
- 28:58Speaker 1: she's upset because he criticized her when she was being cute,
- 29:01Speaker 1: like she wants to be like, this is our honeymoon
- 29:03Speaker 1: and you know, I'm trying to have fun. He Now
- 29:05Speaker 1: she's upset, and now he's trying to be cute, and
- 29:07Speaker 1: they're like, well, can we just drop it? And like,
- 29:10Speaker 1: you know, do the damn thing. And the way that
- 29:12Speaker 1: they drop it is so immediate that I'm like, oh,
- 29:15Speaker 1: that seems a little much. It does feel like the
- 29:18Speaker 1: producers like, Okay, you guys gonna start off upset. The
- 29:21Speaker 1: way you're gonna get over it, just be like, can
- 29:22Speaker 1: we just have some fun? And then you're gonna have
- 29:24Speaker 1: some fun and we're gonna go do the kayak and
- 29:26Speaker 1: ocean bike thing and have huge coconta drinks and then
- 29:30Speaker 1: have you know, another oh shit moment and then you
- 29:36Speaker 1: know this like real fun dessert. We'll talk about it later.
- 29:40Speaker 1: So that is what happens, right. The ocean biking is
- 29:43Speaker 1: too small for him, The coconut drinks do look fun.
- 29:47Speaker 1: He's going to go meet her mom. We know that
- 29:49Speaker 1: the mom is the best friend and has the shop
- 29:52Speaker 1: right side by side by side to her and Anna
- 29:55Speaker 1: Lynn's like, before that happens, though, you promised me that
- 29:59Speaker 1: you would not talk to that dumb biddy anymore. And
- 30:01Speaker 1: he's like, yeah, yeah, No, I says, yeah I said,
- 30:04Speaker 1: And she's like, well did you And he's like yeah,
- 30:05Speaker 1: and he's like, well then you would be okay with
- 30:07Speaker 1: giving me your phone and letting me check. So then
- 30:10Speaker 1: he gives the phone. And this is supposed to be
- 30:12Speaker 1: like a oh no kind of moment, like if there's
- 30:14Speaker 1: a commercial break where like, oh my god, where it's
- 30:17Speaker 1: like what is he gonna find? And you know, they
- 30:19Speaker 1: give us like you know, close ups of faces and
- 30:23Speaker 1: we get real sharp to where it's like and it's
- 30:26Speaker 1: just like cute pictures of his Anyone has two tattoos
- 30:31Speaker 1: that are questionable. One of the bet on her back
- 30:33Speaker 1: and one on her arm. I don't know. The one
- 30:35Speaker 1: in her arm almost looks fake, like it's fading. I'm
- 30:37Speaker 1: not quite sure.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Now.
- 30:40Speaker 1: This is when Javonne says something absolutely horrible. He says,
- 30:42Speaker 1: women only act right when you could cheat. Paranoia is good,
- 30:47Speaker 1: says the podcast host. I listened to okay, I guess
- 30:50Speaker 1: my question is Okay, well, then are you supposed to
- 30:52Speaker 1: be paranoid of her too? Like? Is is the thing
- 30:56Speaker 1: that you should be aware that your partner is attractive
- 31:02Speaker 1: enough to pull whatever someone like? I don't understand how
- 31:08Speaker 1: could only be the man like? Because if we're supposed
- 31:10Speaker 1: to believe, like, you know, a man's like a woman
- 31:12Speaker 1: only right when you know they think that you could cheat,
- 31:14Speaker 1: so then they like, you know, treat you like a
- 31:16Speaker 1: king or whatever. Let's just say that is that it.
- 31:19Speaker 1: I don't understand why then conversely, you wouldn't think, Oh,
- 31:23Speaker 1: a woman that couldn't ever cheat on me because no
- 31:28Speaker 1: man would ever want to be with her would still
- 31:30Speaker 1: be attractive to me? Like whether that's the same. It's
- 31:33Speaker 1: real fucked up psychology shit, and I mean it, I
- 31:37Speaker 1: don't know. I think the answer I mean, I don't
- 31:39Speaker 1: know the answer is. I think that honestly, everyone has
- 31:41Speaker 1: to find their own way in a relationship and what
- 31:43Speaker 1: works for them. And maybe there is this kind of
- 31:45Speaker 1: like passionate push pull of this, but I think would
- 31:48Speaker 1: only work if you both think that you both could cheat.
- 31:51Speaker 1: I mean, cheat is a bad thing. It's like if
- 31:53Speaker 1: you think that you both could you know, immediately go
- 31:56Speaker 1: and get another partner because you're both so attractive. I
- 32:00Speaker 1: think that it's nice to know that you're with an
- 32:02Speaker 1: attractive person who's choosing you, And would you be like
- 32:08Speaker 1: thankful and would you appreciate them because you both show
- 32:12Speaker 1: up and choose each other every day as kind of nice.
- 32:15Speaker 1: But surely what's like important is like the communication and
- 32:18Speaker 1: trust and paranoia just seems like a fucking big ass
- 32:22Speaker 1: word to use. Paranoia is just like not being able
- 32:26Speaker 1: to be happy or joyful like undo anxiety and unease.
- 32:31Speaker 1: And I don't understand why we're like talking about like
- 32:34Speaker 1: masculinity podcasts, why they're not telling men to, you know,
- 32:39Speaker 1: like lean back on that stable and secure shit. I
- 32:42Speaker 1: would assume, I don't know as a female, don't listen
- 32:46Speaker 1: to me that it would be nice for a man
- 32:50Speaker 1: in this situation to make a female feel secure and safe,
- 32:56Speaker 1: like he has her back and he's reliable, like he's
- 32:59Speaker 1: can instantly cares about her and their relationship and like
- 33:03Speaker 1: doesn't want to jeopardize that. At the same time, it's
- 33:06Speaker 1: like he's thinking that she's not acting right for a
- 33:09Speaker 1: reason that isn't him, but she's not acting right because
- 33:13Speaker 1: he's not acting right. And if he acted, like I said,
- 33:17Speaker 1: in a way that made her feel safe and secure
- 33:19Speaker 1: that he cares about her and he cares about how
- 33:23Speaker 1: she feels about the relationship, I think that she would
- 33:26Speaker 1: quote unquote act right. Right. Okay, So basically they go
- 33:34Speaker 1: to a Halo Halo bar dinner and you know, they're
- 33:37Speaker 1: dressed up and they look super cute. They're kind of
- 33:39Speaker 1: in resort wear finest it's very like you know, cruise line,
- 33:43Speaker 1: it's flowers. They look cute, and I really like her dress.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Her shoe breaks and she's tiny, and she's like, well,
- 33:52Speaker 1: it'll be nice if you could pick me up. Because,
- 33:54Speaker 1: by the way, it's like really annoying a walk with
- 33:55Speaker 1: a broken sandal, Like that's happened to most people that
- 33:59Speaker 1: have wear sandals, and it's devastating because you then have
- 34:02Speaker 1: to like hold it with your two toes and walk.
- 34:07Speaker 1: It's just horrible. He doesn't want to pick her up. Javon,
- 34:10Speaker 1: do you have you broken your back? Like, Javon, have
- 34:12Speaker 1: you been in a skiing accident? Like, please tell us,
- 34:14Speaker 1: Like what is happening? I cannot imagine a world in
- 34:16Speaker 1: which you are just because you you're your statue, your stature.
- 34:20Speaker 1: Your stature just alone indicates that you can manage picking
- 34:25Speaker 1: up this person this like you know, slender lady, it
- 34:29Speaker 1: can't be that hard. And even like you know, weight
- 34:31Speaker 1: distribution wise, he's like, well, you're in a dress. You're
- 34:34Speaker 1: in a dress, and it's like, well, you don't have
- 34:36Speaker 1: to make her do like a piggyback. I think that
- 34:39Speaker 1: she and I and everyone thought that you would go
- 34:41Speaker 1: like this to her, you know, like one of them
- 34:43Speaker 1: like going over the threshold situations. And I'm by the
- 34:46Speaker 1: way of this, you know. I also feel like women
- 34:49Speaker 1: who get picked up a lot, like know their selves
- 34:53Speaker 1: enough to know like who could pick them up and
- 34:54Speaker 1: who can't. Like I don't let anyone pick me up
- 34:56Speaker 1: because I'm not that kind of person. I know myself.
- 34:59Speaker 1: But she knows that she can get picked up by
- 35:01Speaker 1: this man. And he just feels like he just is
- 35:04Speaker 1: so weak all the time when he like runs away
- 35:07Speaker 1: from the possibility of just holding her like a normal person. Anyway,
- 35:11Speaker 1: he's got to lift a dumbbell every now and then.
- 35:14Speaker 1: I mean, what is happening, kid? Does all be lemonade
- 35:16Speaker 1: jugs to old people all the goddamn time? I mean,
- 35:19Speaker 1: go up there and just you know, teach an exercise
- 35:21Speaker 1: class to the old people then and just get just
- 35:24Speaker 1: make them do like, you know, the two pound weights
- 35:26Speaker 1: and you get yourself some I don't know, start with
- 35:28Speaker 1: eight pounds if it's that like, if it's that like
- 35:30Speaker 1: that for you, I don't know. Okay. So they go
- 35:33Speaker 1: to this Halo Halo bar, which is not Halo Halo
- 35:35Speaker 1: top ice cream good. It's just a bunch of like
- 35:40Speaker 1: rainbow colored dips and glass bowls kind of and I
- 35:45Speaker 1: make this reference as much as I possibly can, kind
- 35:48Speaker 1: of like the feast and Hook where it's like is
- 35:51Speaker 1: that all real? Like it almost like what is that is?
- 35:53Speaker 1: It looks like yummy jellies, yummy jams and yummy jellies,
- 35:58Speaker 1: you know, almost like food coloring to like that again
- 36:01Speaker 1: a rainbow. And there's different food items. One of them
- 36:04Speaker 1: is corn. And he's like the corn part is different
- 36:08Speaker 1: and you know we don't usually have corn our deserts Now,
- 36:11Speaker 1: that's not true. I think there's corn pudden. Is there
- 36:15Speaker 1: a corn pudding? I feel like I've seen corn before.
- 36:18Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not saying all the time, honey, but
- 36:21Speaker 1: you know, I'm not saying your local cold Stone creamery,
- 36:23Speaker 1: but I could see saltn Straw having a corn monthly flavor.
- 36:29Speaker 1: He does try it, you know, it's not spicy, so
- 36:31Speaker 1: he can get it down. And then she basically is
- 36:34Speaker 1: like you don't You're not romantic, and he's like, well,
- 36:37Speaker 1: it's a luxury to even think of the days to
- 36:39Speaker 1: be romantic. She's like what. And here's the thing about this.
- 36:43Speaker 1: I will say that people experience things differently and it's
- 36:48Speaker 1: hard to come together. And this is the you know,
- 36:51Speaker 1: if we believe their first time coming together to see
- 36:53Speaker 1: how people act in a loving romantic situation, and if
- 36:59Speaker 1: you were to believe stereotypical tropes, it would be like, oh,
- 37:02Speaker 1: the female, you know, usually the female is like more
- 37:05Speaker 1: romantic and more like lovey dew, and in the man's
- 37:07Speaker 1: more like mah, you know, and maybe like that's what
- 37:10Speaker 1: this is or whatnot? The way that he plays a
- 37:14Speaker 1: victim like I just work so much, I don't know
- 37:17Speaker 1: what day it is, like as if he has a
- 37:20Speaker 1: seven day calendar of working, where like Monday is Sunday,
- 37:24Speaker 1: you know, because what is what day?
- 37:26Speaker 2: You know?
- 37:27Speaker 1: She's like, you don't know our anniversary? On my birthday?
- 37:29Speaker 1: He doesn't feel happy or comfortable in himself in his body.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Those are two true things. So when he takes a
- 37:37Speaker 1: picture and he doesn't look present in the moment and
- 37:41Speaker 1: happy to be present in the moment, that could be
- 37:44Speaker 1: obviously a bunch of different reasons. And I think it's
- 37:47Speaker 1: hard for her because she's looking back at the picture
- 37:50Speaker 1: and she wants to see like a picture of her
- 37:52Speaker 1: and like her husband, like looking happy that she can
- 37:54Speaker 1: like show all the people on her Facebook. But when
- 37:57Speaker 1: she gets a picture, his face is just listen, just
- 38:00Speaker 1: know that. It's like for frozen, stilted smile, you know
- 38:02Speaker 1: what I'm saying. And she calls him out on it,
- 38:05Speaker 1: and both of them are kind of doing the same thing,
- 38:08Speaker 1: which is that they're hypercritical of each other in this
- 38:13Speaker 1: honeymoon romantic situation and they don't want to hear it.
- 38:17Speaker 1: They also are giving it. That's so it's so funny
- 38:20Speaker 1: because I one time had this happen to where I
- 38:24Speaker 1: was in a relationship and I felt like the person
- 38:28Speaker 1: I would the guy I was with it was just
- 38:30Speaker 1: not romantic, and like I just felt like he wasn't
- 38:32Speaker 1: romantic ever, and like didn't plan dates or whatever and
- 38:37Speaker 1: take me out, but he did. I like made him Okay, fine,
- 38:41Speaker 1: that's what happened. I made him do it, and so
- 38:43Speaker 1: he did. I can't remember if I picked the place
- 38:45Speaker 1: or whatever I was, but we're finally like at this
- 38:48Speaker 1: dinner and he started criticizing me for my career, and
- 38:56Speaker 1: I mean obviously, and it was like the acting career, right,
- 38:59Speaker 1: And so I'm not saying that at the time it
- 39:01Speaker 1: was great, but I was doing like a lot at
- 39:05Speaker 1: the time, and you know, a lot of it's outside
- 39:07Speaker 1: of my control. And at the same time, I only
- 39:10Speaker 1: could have I could only think, I don't even know
- 39:12Speaker 1: what the fuck you're doing with your whole life. You know,
- 39:14Speaker 1: I don't know why I wish I should have probably edited.
- 39:17Speaker 1: There was a bunch of reasons why I should have edited,
- 39:18Speaker 1: and this is like one reason, not even that, but whatever.
- 39:21Speaker 1: So all this to say, I remember just being like,
- 39:23Speaker 1: you're this is this romantic time in which I like
- 39:27Speaker 1: begged for this from you, and now you're gonna use
- 39:29Speaker 1: this moment to criticize me, Like it's devastating. It's devastating
- 39:33Speaker 1: if like you want love, right, But it's also difficult
- 39:38Speaker 1: if you want love and you are foregoing a very
- 39:41Speaker 1: honest and obvious reality that this is not your person
- 39:44Speaker 1: or not not it, or this person not going to
- 39:46Speaker 1: give you the relationship or love that you want. Now,
- 39:50Speaker 1: there's two sides to it. The other side is that
- 39:52Speaker 1: they don't know each other. They have not spent time
- 39:55Speaker 1: physically with each other to see how they both process
- 39:57Speaker 1: this world. You know, and I I think that you know,
- 40:01Speaker 1: you're in an anxious space you like want this person
- 40:04Speaker 1: to you know, think that you're the fucking shit and
- 40:08Speaker 1: you're you have your feelings. You're seeing how this person
- 40:11Speaker 1: is dealing with their feelings. It's different than you, and
- 40:16Speaker 1: it's confusing, and you're not privy to all of their
- 40:20Speaker 1: thoughts and they're like their modus operandi yet. So there's
- 40:25Speaker 1: a like a dance of like seeing what's going to
- 40:27Speaker 1: be able to work and what you know you can
- 40:30Speaker 1: work with and what is just like not it anyway.
- 40:35Speaker 1: So basically he's like, well, maybe I'm just not a
- 40:38Speaker 1: good husband then and then she cries, and then she's
- 40:41Speaker 1: like you just throw things in my face. You know.
- 40:44Speaker 1: It's just it's as if that she had not just
- 40:46Speaker 1: found out that he doesn't talk to that girl anymore.
- 40:49Speaker 1: What if now he just fucking picks up that phone.
- 40:51Speaker 1: He's just like, right, well, you know, throw me right
- 40:53Speaker 1: back into her arms with elite, all these dog picks.
- 40:57Speaker 1: I wonder if she found his hidden folder. You know,
- 40:59Speaker 1: we all know men have one, says Johnny. John told
- 41:03Speaker 1: us what men do. They all have hidden folders, and
- 41:07Speaker 1: they all need to be seen new nudes. That's what
- 41:13Speaker 1: men do, not to like cross jumping. I'm saying so
- 41:17Speaker 1: Laura and beer Khan. He got mad while they're making
- 41:22Speaker 1: them evil eyes because he gave an evil eye to
- 41:24Speaker 1: Michael and she gave a humpsy to it. She's like no,
- 41:28Speaker 1: and he got mad. He leaves her and then she
- 41:29Speaker 1: comes out and he's like, She's like, you're gonna leave
- 41:31Speaker 1: me in a hut in a village, And we're all like, well, girl,
- 41:34Speaker 1: is that what is it? That's what it's going to
- 41:36Speaker 1: take for you to get an uber back to your
- 41:40Speaker 1: huge airbnb and lock him out. Then, yes, you are
- 41:44Speaker 1: the one that holds I don't know, you're the one
- 41:47Speaker 1: that holds the power here. Also, what a village? Is
- 41:51Speaker 1: this really a village? Because to me, you're like, you know,
- 41:54Speaker 1: you're in Istanbul, you're in Turkey, it's like a pretty
- 41:58Speaker 1: cosmopolitan place, you know, villages, I think a little Okay, basically,
- 42:02Speaker 1: I don't know. She needs to tell me if they're
- 42:04Speaker 1: really like village like and also how hard to be
- 42:06Speaker 1: to leave. She gets really upset though. But also Laura's
- 42:08Speaker 1: whole thing that she like lets loose is that she
- 42:12Speaker 1: has put upon beer Khan that he's a protector provider type,
- 42:18Speaker 1: a dark, mysterious, dominant, hot, sexy, alpha male, angry aggressive
- 42:28Speaker 1: when he has to be like that, she like has
- 42:30Speaker 1: obviously painted upon this person a trope of a stupid
- 42:35Speaker 1: romance novel hero who is like half fucking Christian gray,
- 42:40Speaker 1: half like fucking werewolf, you know, like or vampire or
- 42:44Speaker 1: something like. So when she says you are gonna leave
- 42:48Speaker 1: me in a hut in a village, it's because she's like,
- 42:50Speaker 1: how are you going to leave me unprotected? And it's like,
- 42:53Speaker 1: because this man is not a protector, that's why anyway, Okay,
- 42:58Speaker 1: So she's like, I don't really know, Hey, you gonna leave
- 43:01Speaker 1: me with these evil eyebeads And we have to go
- 43:03Speaker 1: meet your friend Mimo and Tuba, and I'm like, oh
- 43:06Speaker 1: my god, I love that we get to meet Memo
- 43:07Speaker 1: and Tuba. He's like, well, I want you to, like,
- 43:09Speaker 1: you know, not be friends with Michael, and she's upset.
- 43:11Speaker 1: She thinks that he has my huge balls to have
- 43:14Speaker 1: secrets and be controlling about Michael when he's like obviously
- 43:17Speaker 1: not telling her the truth about fucking the dead. And
- 43:20Speaker 1: he's like, well, you know, men know men. He says,
- 43:25Speaker 1: just how Johnny knows how men knows men. I know
- 43:28Speaker 1: how men know men, which is men want sex. They
- 43:31Speaker 1: don't care about anything else. If they're looking at a
- 43:34Speaker 1: woman at sex, and if he looks at you at sex,
- 43:36Speaker 1: and if he wants to hang out with you at sex,
- 43:38Speaker 1: he can't possibly be your friend or think that you're
- 43:41Speaker 1: funny or smart. Now here's the thing. Does Michael want
- 43:44Speaker 1: sex from Laura? Yes? Sure, yes? Why well how do
- 43:48Speaker 1: I say that? Because we have eyes? And also, like
- 43:51Speaker 1: he did that whole thing you know about how he
- 43:53Speaker 1: can't really connect because he's so scared, he's so vulnerable
- 43:56Speaker 1: because of his birth defect, even though she's basically still
- 44:00Speaker 1: him in the face and the nose and being like
- 44:02Speaker 1: I'm okay with all of it. Please, dear God, just
- 44:04Speaker 1: can you just can you just be hot for me?
- 44:08Speaker 1: And if I be hot, just be a little a
- 44:11Speaker 1: little toxically masculine for me, Like if Laura could just
- 44:16Speaker 1: get Michael to man up, be like, you're my lady.
- 44:20Speaker 1: I know you want me, and so we're past that,
- 44:23Speaker 1: and I know that you like a little bit of
- 44:25Speaker 1: well we have her amount of like toxic masculinity, and
- 44:30Speaker 1: I'll dial it up like cosplaying to make my lady happy.
- 44:34Speaker 1: But underneath that, you know that I'm a little teddy
- 44:35Speaker 1: bear with want like feelings, well like insecurities and feelings,
- 44:40Speaker 1: you know whatever, Like if that's their thing, that's their thing.
- 44:42Speaker 1: I mean, that's what she I'm saying, that's what she wants,
- 44:46Speaker 1: and I'm saying if he wants to be with her,
- 44:47Speaker 1: you know, God bless men knows men, he says. So
- 44:49Speaker 1: then they go to a coffee shop. Honey, it's called
- 44:52Speaker 1: fourteen fifty three Outomen, which is the year of the
- 44:57Speaker 1: fall of Constantinople. That is what happened, honey, you know
- 45:03Speaker 1: at Constantine, Honey, Byzantine. See, I tell you, I'm like
- 45:07Speaker 1: your smart dumb friend. You know if you saw fourteen
- 45:11Speaker 1: fifty three Automan and you're like, I wonder what that means,
- 45:14Speaker 1: or maybe even see the name of the coffee shop
- 45:16Speaker 1: at all, I'll tell you exactly. Yeah, that's their claim
- 45:19Speaker 1: to fame. I mean I want to see it too,
- 45:21Speaker 1: you know, I want to see I want to go
- 45:22Speaker 1: to I want to go to the bazaars, and I
- 45:23Speaker 1: want to like smell the spices, absolutely, and I want
- 45:26Speaker 1: a glass lamp. But the funny thing about the glass
- 45:28Speaker 1: lamps is just like how do people travel with them?
- 45:31Speaker 1: I mean, you know, I think I've already said this already,
- 45:32Speaker 1: but like do you ship them? And do they ship
- 45:35Speaker 1: them in I mean infinity bubble wrap? You know, like
- 45:38Speaker 1: I can't even say it in a little rap. Okay,
- 45:41Speaker 1: So he is a regular at fourteen fifty three, Honey,
- 45:47Speaker 1: he has a usual table and then his friends Mimo
- 45:50Speaker 1: and Tuba come. They're both like kind of they're very
- 45:53Speaker 1: young looking ones like red haired one has They're both
- 45:57Speaker 1: are like baby nerds. They look like nerds, and they
- 45:59Speaker 1: are so young looking to me. And it's so interesting
- 46:02Speaker 1: because I'm younger than Laura, and I was looking at
- 46:05Speaker 1: these two friends and I was like, if I was
- 46:08Speaker 1: dating someone and I knew that person was younger than me,
- 46:10Speaker 1: But let's just say I was dating someone who you know. Okay,
- 46:13Speaker 1: you know how some younger people like look older, you
- 46:15Speaker 1: know whatever, some younger people look older like you know, Okay,
- 46:18Speaker 1: and let's just say in this situation, this is horrible
- 46:21Speaker 1: because it's okay, let's just say in this situation, it
- 46:24Speaker 1: is an older lady like a me or a Laura,
- 46:26Speaker 1: and we're talking about a younger guy or whatever like
- 46:29Speaker 1: beer Kan. I think beer Kan doesn't look super young,
- 46:34Speaker 1: but he definitely looks like around his age. Okay, now,
- 46:37Speaker 1: but there are like men, boys, young whatever, people that
- 46:40Speaker 1: are younger than me that look older. Let's just say
- 46:42Speaker 1: I started dating someone, if I sat across people that
- 46:46Speaker 1: looked as young as Mimo and Tuba, I would feel
- 46:51Speaker 1: like I would then have to break up with who
- 46:53Speaker 1: I was dating because it'd be like a weird mirror
- 46:56Speaker 1: reality check of like, wait, I mean I can't have
- 47:00Speaker 1: like I mean, I can't have like dinner parties with
- 47:03Speaker 1: like fourteen year olds coming to my home, you know,
- 47:06Speaker 1: like I'm not gonna like, you know, want me to
- 47:08Speaker 1: do it. These two people play duneons and dragons, you know,
- 47:11Speaker 1: like I don't know you. It's not that, by the way,
- 47:14Speaker 1: dunnits and dragons could be any age I couldn't think of, Like,
- 47:17Speaker 1: I just think they're like young nerds. I don't know
- 47:18Speaker 1: what their fucking thing is, but like, and I would pay.
- 47:21Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know if I would play Dundets Dragons.
- 47:23Speaker 1: It's definitely not like every time I had a dinner party.
- 47:26Speaker 1: It's no Mafia. But at the same time, it's like,
- 47:28Speaker 1: I don't think I could socially be around people who
- 47:32Speaker 1: looked so young a lot, And I think, yeah, like,
- 47:39Speaker 1: is that reverse agist? Am I agist? You would have
- 47:42Speaker 1: to tell me in a comment. Still give me five
- 47:44Speaker 1: stars if you're listening to to this podcast, just give
- 47:47Speaker 1: me a five some of you and be like, also
- 47:48Speaker 1: just mildly agist when you said this one thing, that's fine.
- 47:50Speaker 1: I still love you, Chris, because you called it out
- 47:52Speaker 1: for yourself and you're working towards being a better person.
- 47:55Speaker 1: That's all you can really ask of me. It's fine.
- 47:57Speaker 1: So he is there smoking all all the goddamn day.
- 48:00Speaker 1: He loves his shisha. Honey, he's there smoking shisha. We're like,
- 48:03Speaker 1: how do you have the money for it? Because you know,
- 48:05Speaker 1: But at the same time, not to tell you so
- 48:07Speaker 1: many stories, but you knew I worked at the Egyptian
- 48:09Speaker 1: restaurant that was like a hook a lounge for like
- 48:11Speaker 1: far too long, and it was like a nightmare because
- 48:12Speaker 1: it was open to two am and four am, respectively,
- 48:15Speaker 1: and they literally had to have a minimum because people
- 48:17Speaker 1: would literally just come and get one shisha, which was
- 48:19Speaker 1: like was just say twenty dollars and like two mintees
- 48:22Speaker 1: a buck fifty. It's stay there for fourteen hours. Oh
- 48:25Speaker 1: my god. So that's what this man does and I
- 48:27Speaker 1: hate him for it. And it's just he's making people
- 48:31Speaker 1: like change his charcoals and he's not gonna tip him anything.
- 48:33Speaker 1: He has no money to do. So, so then they
- 48:35Speaker 1: sit down and Laura's sitting there and she's like, Okay,
- 48:37Speaker 1: you come a lot. Oh you love sheisha. You're like
- 48:40Speaker 1: a caterpillar in fucking Alice Winnterland. That's crazy. His friends
- 48:45Speaker 1: tell Laura that, you know, he's like a little kid inside,
- 48:48Speaker 1: and Laura's like, not hot, don't tell me that. Tell
- 48:52Speaker 1: me about all the dark parts about him. Tell me
- 48:55Speaker 1: about the parts that are like he'd be like look
- 48:57Speaker 1: at you in the eyes, and you don't know if
- 48:59Speaker 1: he's gonna like kill you. Are bucked the shit out
- 49:01Speaker 1: of it. You're like, oh my god, Laura, Laura, take
- 49:04Speaker 1: a goddamn cold shower in your Airbnb and sit this
- 49:07Speaker 1: one out. This is not it. I mean god, I
- 49:10Speaker 1: just like is Michael. I mean this just sounds so bad.
- 49:13Speaker 1: But having me is like Michael could just like get
- 49:16Speaker 1: a little bit of a spray tan and dark and
- 49:17Speaker 1: like darken that hair a little bit and just like
- 49:19Speaker 1: lower that voice a little bit and just come in
- 49:21Speaker 1: with like BD big dig energy, you know, like opposite
- 49:25Speaker 1: of jobon, you know, just like coming in like he
- 49:28Speaker 1: knows that it's hot and heavy and that you know,
- 49:32Speaker 1: like I he just needs that like I got it
- 49:38Speaker 1: vibe and you know, let's just okay. It must be
- 49:42Speaker 1: really a pressure filled situation to have to come with that, right,
- 49:47Speaker 1: Like if we're talking about gender roles and traditional gender roles,
- 49:50Speaker 1: like and maybe like even what I'm talking about is
- 49:53Speaker 1: like sexual shit, so it's like domb stuff or whatever.
- 49:57Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know, Like it's a press you know,
- 49:59Speaker 1: to be a dom to be dominant, to be like controlling,
- 50:04Speaker 1: or to be like the person in the power position,
- 50:08Speaker 1: like all of those requires you know, it requires a
- 50:12Speaker 1: lot of work. It's a lot of responsibilities. Says Superman.
- 50:16Speaker 1: You know, like it's much easier to like not have
- 50:19Speaker 1: to do that, and so I get the pressure of
- 50:22Speaker 1: having to sit in that and if you don't feel
- 50:26Speaker 1: any of those feelings, they can almost feel like imposter syndrome,
- 50:29Speaker 1: you know. And it's like the moment of Michael not
- 50:32Speaker 1: being able to just look at Laura and just be like,
- 50:35Speaker 1: don't go to Turkey. Why would you go? I'm right
- 50:38Speaker 1: here and you feel this too, though I don't know,
- 50:42Speaker 1: I can't do it, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 50:45Speaker 1: you know, like if Michael pushed Laura against that wall, honey,
- 50:52Speaker 1: and she got to experience Michael fucking throwing down a
- 50:56Speaker 1: pickleball racket and I mean giving it to her, Laura
- 51:01Speaker 1: would be so happy and Michael would be so happy.
- 51:04Speaker 1: I wonder if it is just as easy as like
- 51:08Speaker 1: doing it once and then feeling the power and then
- 51:13Speaker 1: sitting in the knowledge that that worked and that that's
- 51:16Speaker 1: an option next time, you know, Like I want, you know,
- 51:19Speaker 1: for them, I wonder I would really like need like
- 51:21Speaker 1: a male's opinion on this, but like one that, yeah,
- 51:25Speaker 1: one that would speak to this okay anyway, huh Okay,
- 51:28Speaker 1: So what I was like, ah, I'm calling someone, just kidding.
- 51:31Speaker 1: I don't my dad, ha ha ha kidding. I told
- 51:35Speaker 1: it's a solo podcast right now, no, guest, don't worry.
- 51:39Speaker 1: So basically, his friends just start talking in Turkish and
- 51:43Speaker 1: Laura's like, I'm sorry, what no, I no, no, Should
- 51:45Speaker 1: I get my Google translator just like and the answer
- 51:48Speaker 1: is yes, we wish you had just gotten your fucking
- 51:50Speaker 1: phone out and just silently translated everything they're saying, because
- 51:53Speaker 1: they're like, well, are you gonna tell her the other thing?
- 51:56Speaker 1: You know, the thing about how you commented this table
- 51:58Speaker 1: for twenty hours and really like fuck over the waist
- 52:00Speaker 1: staff here, because like, no one can use this table
- 52:02Speaker 1: in their section, but can you tell them about how
- 52:04Speaker 1: you spend your days besides smoking chisha? And it's gambling,
- 52:08Speaker 1: which is what Christina said. It was so shout out Christina.
- 52:12Speaker 1: Christina was right. Christina, my producer, who obviously was on
- 52:19Speaker 1: two episodes ago, called out that he gambles, and she's right,
- 52:22Speaker 1: that is what he does. Now it's still confusing because
- 52:26Speaker 1: we're like, well, is that how you lost the money,
- 52:28Speaker 1: because he is like, I lost my job. He makes
- 52:31Speaker 1: it seem like he lost his job and so he's
- 52:34Speaker 1: been gambling to make money and we're like, buddy, his
- 52:37Speaker 1: friends like oh yeah, yeah uh, or he's addicted to
- 52:41Speaker 1: it when times are rough. Now, it's interesting when times
- 52:44Speaker 1: are rough, it's like addition obviously is like a whole
- 52:48Speaker 1: psychology psychological topic, and there's so many different modalities that
- 52:52Speaker 1: don't understand, and gambling is something specifically I also don't understand.
- 52:57Speaker 1: I wonder you know, is gambling like Okay, I think
- 53:01Speaker 1: that drinking Okay, how to say this. There's there's okay,
- 53:05Speaker 1: there's drugs that you can use recreationally, right, there's drugs
- 53:10Speaker 1: that you have to use every day. There's all the
- 53:13Speaker 1: drugs in the world. Right, there's all the drugs in
- 53:15Speaker 1: the world. Okay, there's like the heroines, right, and that's that.
- 53:19Speaker 1: There's like the drug of let's just say alcohol. There
- 53:22Speaker 1: are people who definitely, when't like they're depressed, drink more, right,
- 53:25Speaker 1: and when things are going well, like they drink less.
- 53:29Speaker 1: But you know, to me, I wonder, like is the
- 53:32Speaker 1: same true for heroin? Like are there people who do
- 53:35Speaker 1: heroin occasionally or recreationally like every other weekend, but when
- 53:39Speaker 1: things are hard they do it a lot. And then
- 53:40Speaker 1: when things get better, they do less of it is
- 53:44Speaker 1: gambling like that, Like I'm assuming that once you like
- 53:47Speaker 1: to gamble, you want to gamble, and when things are
- 53:50Speaker 1: going good, you'd want to celebrate by gambling, or the
- 53:52Speaker 1: gambling would be would be still be there, Like there's okay,
- 53:55Speaker 1: because even going back to alcoholism, there's definitely alcoholics that
- 53:58Speaker 1: like want to drink regards wardless, like if things are bad,
- 54:01Speaker 1: they want to drink. Things are good, celebrate by drinking,
- 54:04Speaker 1: you know, Like right, So it was just interesting and
- 54:07Speaker 1: or is that like the caveat the friends were saying like, oh,
- 54:11Speaker 1: he is completely obsessed and does gambling every day when
- 54:16Speaker 1: he's in a low place, when they should be like, well,
- 54:21Speaker 1: we've only known him for the low place, which is
- 54:22Speaker 1: the last three years. Like we said, we've known him
- 54:24Speaker 1: three years. So all the three years we've been knowing him,
- 54:27Speaker 1: it's been in this low place of gambling all day,
- 54:29Speaker 1: every day at this Ottoman coffee house smoking. Who knows
- 54:35Speaker 1: what you know, like we yeah, we don't know. The
- 54:37Speaker 1: follow up questions of like did he gamble into debt
- 54:40Speaker 1: and does he think he's going to gamble out of
- 54:41Speaker 1: debt because he's not, you know, like you don't gamble
- 54:44Speaker 1: out of debt, like if you gambled into debt, Like
- 54:46Speaker 1: you don't gamble out of debt. It's difficult when people
- 54:49Speaker 1: say that, like they're professional gamblers, because the truth the
- 54:54Speaker 1: matter is the stock market is a gamble, you know,
- 54:58Speaker 1: like if you have a all the stocks and you
- 55:02Speaker 1: put money in stocks every day, that's your job. You know.
- 55:04Speaker 1: It's kind of like gambling, right, but it's just like
- 55:07Speaker 1: high levels, like the highest level gambling, and hopefully you
- 55:10Speaker 1: are a financially you know, sound person and if not
- 55:13Speaker 1: licensed or whatnot. Bat there's people that are do day traders.
- 55:16Speaker 1: You can do whatever with your own money. Obviously, you
- 55:18Speaker 1: can do crypto with your own money. That's fucking gambling.
- 55:20Speaker 1: All of it's gambling. All that like money, money and
- 55:23Speaker 1: investing is gambling. Gambling is gambling with slot machines, you know.
- 55:26Speaker 1: But like there's just obviously better risk and reward infrastructures,
- 55:33Speaker 1: and it's you know, difficult because there's like online gambling
- 55:36Speaker 1: now and even like the gambling of buying and selling
- 55:41Speaker 1: collectibles and like different like cards and stuff like that,
- 55:45Speaker 1: like sports cards and all that stuff. We don't know.
- 55:48Speaker 1: I wonder what he actually Gambles is that Blackjack, So
- 55:51Speaker 1: she knows they're talking no in English. And I don't
- 55:53Speaker 1: know why she hasn't left like one billion times, you know,
- 55:56Speaker 1: like and I also can I also can't imagine why
- 55:59Speaker 1: the doers haven't been like, Laura, we have to find
- 56:03Speaker 1: a time for you to have a secret conversation with Michael,
- 56:05Speaker 1: Like if we know that he loves this coffee shop,
- 56:09Speaker 1: maybe like the next scene is like him being like, well,
- 56:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna now that you know where I like to
- 56:12Speaker 1: go hang out, I want to go hang out there
- 56:14Speaker 1: for three hours because I like to have my own,
- 56:16Speaker 1: my alone time. We've already established that. And then she
- 56:19Speaker 1: can have like a FaceTime with Michael and be like
- 56:21Speaker 1: and then by this point would be great is if
- 56:23Speaker 1: Michael somehow had done like a bunch of detective work
- 56:27Speaker 1: and like found out a bunch of like secret shit
- 56:29Speaker 1: and then told her or if Michael didn't like what
- 56:32Speaker 1: if Michael, like I don't know, started to read all
- 56:34Speaker 1: her fantasy novels and try to I'd, like I said,
- 56:36Speaker 1: adopt a persona that Laura found sexy. We need to
- 56:42Speaker 1: know what Michael wants and needs, and I'm like hoping
- 56:45Speaker 1: that the big twist and reveal is like waiting to
- 56:48Speaker 1: see what happens with them, because it all because the
- 56:50Speaker 1: fact that we haven't seen him is like confusing for
- 56:54Speaker 1: no payoff. So I'm assuming, just as like a writer
- 56:57Speaker 1: or a storyteller, that it's going to come back in
- 56:59Speaker 1: a great, big, great way for us, Honey, like maybe
- 57:04Speaker 1: he just flies out there. If he flew out there
- 57:08Speaker 1: when she was upset at him, and then he just
- 57:11Speaker 1: showed up, and maybe it was raining and she was
- 57:13Speaker 1: like Michael and he would just looked at her brooding
- 57:17Speaker 1: but like stoic, and she knew and why he was there,
- 57:22Speaker 1: and then maybe something fucking great happened, like maybe like
- 57:26Speaker 1: beer Can like ran up to Michael and was gonna
- 57:28Speaker 1: like try, I don't know, I'll give him like a
- 57:30Speaker 1: one to two, and then Michael just put up like
- 57:34Speaker 1: one hand and then just like barely touched beer, comedy
- 57:38Speaker 1: fucking falls over, you know what I'm saying. And then
- 57:40Speaker 1: Laura like you can hear the throbbing of Laura's because
- 57:46Speaker 1: she's so into it, you know what I'm saying. And
- 57:48Speaker 1: then Michael like knows like he can hear it too,
- 57:51Speaker 1: so he feels like hot, he feels like enlivened by it,
- 57:54Speaker 1: you know, Like I like to think that two horny
- 57:58Speaker 1: people can start to just vibe off of each other
- 58:02Speaker 1: about how horny they're making each other once they sync up,
- 58:06Speaker 1: like a genital melt where they're like or like they're
- 58:11Speaker 1: just in tune.
- 58:12Speaker 2: You know.
- 58:12Speaker 1: I'm saying so, like yeah, like once he feels like
- 58:16Speaker 1: she's into him and it like thinks that he's hot,
- 58:19Speaker 1: and once she feels like he has made a bold
- 58:23Speaker 1: move to let it be known that he silently craves her,
- 58:28Speaker 1: like that's all she wants. Okay, I'll stop talking about it.
- 58:31Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, Rick and Trish, Oh god, no, why
- 58:37Speaker 1: why did I say this for last? I'm not happy
- 58:39Speaker 1: about it. I'm mad. Honey. They're looking for lemurs. Honey.
- 58:44Speaker 1: He just loves that Madagascar movie. I still haven't seen it,
- 58:48Speaker 1: you know. So they had to show me what a
- 58:49Speaker 1: lemur was and I was like, oh my god. And
- 58:51Speaker 1: he says the thing that I thought, which is true,
- 58:53Speaker 1: squirrel monkeys. Yeah, but with intense yellow eyes. I mean
- 58:57Speaker 1: those eyes, I they look like they're going to claw
- 59:03Speaker 1: your eyes out, Like they look like they can't wait
- 59:05Speaker 1: to like jump on you and just eat your face,
- 59:09Speaker 1: like you know, I they seem fine, and you know,
- 59:12Speaker 1: Trish just this thing that I love like Trisha, you know,
- 59:15Speaker 1: is like yeah, you know, they're chill, you know, like
- 59:17Speaker 1: stop being so stupid, you know, like they're they're called
- 59:20Speaker 1: Macki's here and then she makes their sound. I mean,
- 59:22Speaker 1: I m I can't make it. But it's like, I
- 59:23Speaker 1: mean I know that, Okay. I do this a lot.
- 59:26Speaker 1: I recognize on this podcast. I often will say I
- 59:29Speaker 1: can't do something and then we'll immediately try to do
- 59:31Speaker 1: it where I shouldn't do it and I know I
- 59:34Speaker 1: shouldn't do it, but be like, can't help myself, but
- 59:37Speaker 1: try so that is okay, So I know I know that.
- 59:40Speaker 1: So basically after that, he's like, this is great.
- 59:44Speaker 2: You know.
- 59:44Speaker 1: Speaking of that Madagascar movie, you know, I watched it
- 59:48Speaker 1: so many times because the kids. I love, my kids,
- 59:50Speaker 1: love those sons of mine. Can't wait to see them sons,
- 59:53Speaker 1: butially those two younger ones, you know, that make me
- 59:55Speaker 1: tired all the time. I can't wait for you to
- 59:57Speaker 1: be their stepmom and bring a step mom home. Yep,
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: you me.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: Just the four of us, just the four of us,
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: we can make it if you say so, you know,
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: She's like, oh, oh, okay, well that's a very fucking
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: bold way of saying, there's a cap on this fucking
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: party side.
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: I don't want to just raise your kids. Now, there's
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: nothing wrong with raising other people's kids. But for Trish,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: she has made it very obvious that she's a lot
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: of love in her heart. And she also has been
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: called to be a mom. Remember, she's like a whole
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: ass doula, so like she knows about them having kids,
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Like she knows what she wants, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: you know she wants to have kids. And he says
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: he's not in the position to have another and she's like, well,
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: then why are you here. If you're not in a
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: position to have another kid, then I doubt very much
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: you're in a position to have a whole adult like
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: to take care of me, to be your wife, Like
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: I can't we know work when I get there. She's like,
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: if you mean like physically, I'll do it. I'm going
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: to take care. But I took care of my bro
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: and sis. I'm a doula, Like I know how to
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: take care of a baby. And you can just be
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: an old man fuddy duddy somewhere, and then he doesn't
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: want to have another child, and so he says he
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: can't answer that right now. He refuses to answer to her,
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: although we know the answer, which is that he does
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: not want to have a kid. He's lying to her.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: He has an answer, it's no, but he just wants
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: to keep hidding that fountain, taking a drink from that fountain.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, Squirter. Then may have a
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: fish picnic, okay, and a fire. It's fresh seafood picnic
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: with a fire. Now she does a squat on the beach,
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: and she tells him what her family life is like
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: in the village, and he is like, the squat is
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: too much? Is there a chair? Now? They're on a
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: whole ass beach. And so that's the stupidest thing I've
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: ever heard in my whole life. You know what it is?
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: It is interesting, listen. It's interesting for someone to have
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: the desire to look fit but not have like the
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: strength or endurance or agility or like flexibility. What are
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: all those muscles for if you can't like use them.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: A squat's a squat, I mean, like you know, Okay,
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: so basically, she's like, yeah, you know, I don't know
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: what world you live in, but my family is going
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: to want you to be a good match for me,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: and they expect me to have kids. They want grandkids.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: And it's like Rick never heard of that. And then
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: Rick's like, okay, yeah, how old your dad? She's like
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: younger than you. My dad's fifty. And he's like, well,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: does your dad know how old I am. He's's like, nope, nobody,
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: that's on you. This is all you're doing. You're your
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: age for your own reasons. I didn't make it your age.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: I don't gonna tell them shit. I've been too fucking busy,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: like dealing with your bullshit about my motorcycle, my ex. Also,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: I don't need to tell my parents like if you're
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: anything about you until I know if you will do
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: something basic like father the kids I want to have
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: in my life. Also, they won't give me my blessing
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: to marry you if you won't have kids. So straighten
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: up or fly right? You know? I mean, here's the thing.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: He you know, he wants what he wants, which is
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: a young, hot person that he just loves having sex
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: with and just gets as wet as possible to come,
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: take care of him, take care of his kids, be
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: okay with whatever he gives her, which is not a lot,
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: and she better not ask for anything else. If she
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: looks or even has someone else look at her in
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: a way that feels like they want each other, he
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: will book a flight to some travel broad destination and
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: fuck someone I mean, and then complain about money. I can't.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: I'm like, sorry, you know what it is? It is
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: that I it is obviously he grosses me out, and
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: I don't want to be too negative, but how do
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: you deal how do you deal with how gross he is?
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: How do you deal with, like, what's happening? I need
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: her to get out, you know, like I need her.
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: I don't know if she I don't know if he
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: just thinks that this man is going to save her
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: and that he is like hot enough to promise some
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: sort of like fantasy life in America and whatnot. But
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: he is so selfish, and the way that he views
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: relationships and what he wants is so far outside of
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: what would work for him, just purely based on what
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: he thinks he deserves or what looks good that it's
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: repulsive and the interesting thing is like, we've seen this before,
- 1:04:33Speaker 1: you know. It's the dudes are always in these situations
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: are wildly ignorant to how they're coming off. They always
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: feel like they're just trying to see the you know, fight,
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: the good fight of finding love just so happens to
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: be with a much young or much more beautiful young
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: piece of you know lady, you know that should be
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: happy to be with me as an older American man
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: that you know sometimes pays for things and don't want
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: to have kids with them, even though they've told me
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: they want kids.
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: It's just always so it's confusing to me why they
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: don't take into account what someone else wants, unless they
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: think the only thing this person could possibly want is
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: just to make it to America and they should be
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: happy with anything else. And then you would have to
- 1:05:18Speaker 1: just tell me and them and the cameras that listen,
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: what I'm offering is a one way ticket to America.
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: That's what I can give you. That's it. Don't ask
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: for anything else, and they would just be like, okay, well,
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: then I'm just gonna have to say yes to you
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: for you know, however many times and then leave you
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: and then you know, find someone who I want to
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: have a family with and love and be with the
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: risk for the rest of my life. Are you okay
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: with that? Yeah, if you want, if you want me to,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know. It's like, you know, it's
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: always it's interesting. I can't wait for her dad to
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: meet uh Rick. And I also wish that we could
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: get like any piece of information from any of his
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: other kids, or his ex wives or the woman from Colombia,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: like I do wish that someone like that would come about.
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: I also feel like we're going to see her ex
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: from the motorcycle situation. So many things, you know, So anyway,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: my loves thank you so much for listening. I know
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: this is a long episode, especially because I talked to myself,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: but at the same time interesting because they're all my thoughts. No,
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: I'm sorry, they're not all my thoughts or you know
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: what I'm being shown, but at this I'm sorry. I'm dumb.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: You guys, I love you, and thank you so much
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: for being here, specifically because like what's happening in America
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: is wildly horrible and I almost don't know how to,
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: you know, do or think about other things besides the
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: pain and suffering of other people. So I know, when
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: I'm talking about this dumb reality show, there's like a
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: lot of important things happening, and so I mean there's
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: two sides to this whole world. I guess, so this
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: is the dumb furly side, and then you know just
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: where all everything else exists too. But no, thank you
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: so much for I guess giving me some of your
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: rest and restspite. All right, my love, let's breathe together
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: and go on our ways. But first follow me and
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: give me five stars. Okay, give me five stars wherever
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: you listen to podcasts and a helpful review. I surely
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: need them. Tell me whatever you think most of the
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: good things. And also follow me at Chris el Fara
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: on Instagram, on TikTok, Chris Farah on Patreon, where I
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: put up the visuals before anyone else at least twenty
- 1:07:22Speaker 1: four hours of Vanity Farah's episodes. I also have a
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: sub stack and Facebook Chris Farah. Vanity Farah is the
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: private group on Facebook. All of that exists. Then, and finally,
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: two breasts and we're out, all right, baby booze, I
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: really hope you have a great week. Okay, thank you
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: so much for being present with me and all of
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: us in this moment, listening. Just this is a mindful
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: moment for this part of your day, and then you
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: can go on and scroll and do whatever you need.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: So here it is the actual one that was the rehearsal.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: Blow it out and breathe it in. All right, my babes,
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: take care of yourselves and one another, standing for what
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: you believe in. Make art, and I'll talk to you later. Bye.
