  He's been asked this over years and years. I want to take a look at a couple

  Why is it that when people ask you, if you're a Christian, you don't really

  answer it straightforward? Like, yeah, I follow Jesus Christ. I'm a Christian.

  Because the the question is almost always manipulative

  that it's not really a question it's

  a demand it's a veiled demand that

  i declare my allegiance in the manner they see fit at that moment it's like

  no thank you first of all that's a relatively private manner and second just

  exactly what the hell are you up to so that's the general but what about the

  verse i'm not interested in trumpeting it. You know, I'm still figuring things out.

  So over and over, George Janko, he proposes that question once more.

  And it seems like Jordan, he steamrolls them over and over.

  And George keeps trying to get a little bit of input, but Jordan does not want to hear it.

  Oh, and I'm trying to explain what I'm learning as I go.

  And I don't want to parade my virtuous faith, you know, as a proclamation. I think that's false.

  You know, people can decide for themselves if they're interested what I'm up

  to by watching if they're interested what I do.

  They can derive their own conclusions. Judge them by their fruit.

  That's the theory. Right.

  Right. Judge them by their fruit. I just— And when people say,

  too, that they're a Christian, I actually generally don't really know what they mean.

  I mean, you guys laid it out, and you provided some indication of what you meant—.

  So over and over, he doesn't want to answer the question, and I totally get it with him.

  I get it with him because he thinks differently, and everybody has their own

  personal, unique relationship with God.

  Everyone is going through something inside of, what do I do with this?

  What you've given me, God?

  How do I best share it with people? How do I best live it out?

  And Jordan, I think he is wrestling. He is literally wrestling with God behind

  the scenes, and he's holding back. He's definitely holding back.

  George is going to basically lay it out there, clear as day right now again,

  and Jordan is going to come back, and when he's asked this,

  there's going to be almost over 10 seconds of just dead air when Jordan is just reflecting.

  He doesn't know what exactly to say. He wants to have his words perfect because

  he's, I don't think he wants to give people just a short soundbite.

  He doesn't want to, he wants his actions to be more than his words.

  And we learn from it and we grow from it. So I just want to know who,

  because I see you as my mentor. What do you think?

  You're watching? I see you as, my perspective is that you are a God-fearing

  man. you're learning and you're taking what God gave you and you're teaching

  others from your fruits.

  If I tasted them, I said, this is a righteous man. That's after God's heart like David.

  But then your mouth will say, who says that? I'm a Christian.

  So it does confuse me as somebody who does watch you.

  That's a good answer. And he's going to just, just sit there. This is live.

  He is just thinking he's reflecting.

  I don't know how to add to that, to what you already said.

  I'm trying to find my way, and I'm communicating with people about that voyage

  as clearly as I possibly can. You're just being honest.

  You're back to when you were writing everything and it's just the truth.

  Jordan, Dr. Jordan Peterson is a man after God's heart. And you're just, you're finding it.

  Is this the best way that he could describe you? That's, that's good.

  I like that. And also, I see that. I think. I'd rather let other people decide.

  I think that Jordan doesn't want anybody to put him in a box.

  And he doesn't want to feel like he is being compelled to an answer.

  He doesn't want to feel like that. And I think he doesn't want to,

  once you're labeled a Christian,

  once you're labeled a Jesus freak or somebody like that, then you got a label

  on you and then people can kind of just discredit, discredit you,

  I guess they, they, he wants to almost just be this middleman right now.

  And he, he ends the video, the whole podcast.

  And I got to say this every time I watch George Janko's or not,

  I mean, not every time, maybe I'm being a little bit embellishing,

  but most of the time, every time when I watch his videos,

  I get goosebumps every time just listening to George Janko and the questions

  that he poses and the things that he gets his guests to talk through.

  I get like when he had Patrick David on there, I got goosebumps the things that they are talking about.

  And I've heard that, you know, that's the Holy Spirit kind of deal.

  Is that when you feel that, is that the Holy Spirit around?

  It could be. Might be other factors as well, but it's something to think about.

  But Jordan, he does not want to just be labeled this yet. and he ends the video.

  George asks him, what can we pray for you about?
• 5:31
  And what can our listeners be praying for you about?

  And Jordan says, he reflects like he does for a long time. And he says that

  I would have the courage of my convictions.

  So what is going behind the scenes, in the head of Jordan Peterson,

  God only knows, Jordan knows, but God knows a little bit better.

  But I just think right now, Jordan is, he's just wanting to keep this level
• 5:56
  of, he might not be 100% certain yet.

  And something, and I pray that God would give him an experience,

  something that would just put him over that, that mountain top that he is just
• 6:09
  wrestling to get up because Jesus said,
• 6:13
  whoever confesses me before men, I will confess before my father in heaven.
• 6:18
  And if you deny me before men, I will deny you before my father in heaven.

  That's not, I mean, a blanket, like a blank check. Like, one-time thing,
• 6:27
  because we obviously know that Peter, one of his apostles denied him,
• 6:32
  but he was restored. So it's not a one-time thing.

  You know, you can say, Lord, Lord, Lord, and that's what Jesus says.
• 6:38
  Many will say to me, Lord, Lord, but at the end, I will tell them I never knew you.

  And I think Jordan is just, he's wanting to be extra careful,

  and he wants his actions to speak louder than his words, but your words matter.

  So I do, I do, I hope that Jordan would step out in his faith and he would fully
• 6:59
  just proclaim Jesus from the mountaintops.
