- 0:00Anatomy of a Prayer is the most important video I have produced.
- 0:04Those with an ear to hear and a mind to learn.
- 0:07It will help through the coming difficult times.
- 0:10I have divided the Anatomy of a Prayer into sections.
- 0:14If this video is too long for you, just visit my Channels and
- 0:18they'll be in the library in the link in the description if you
- 0:23wish to download them. He shall call upon me and I will
- 0:39answer him. I will be with him in trouble.
- 0:42I will deliver him and honor him.
- 0:45The most basic definition of prayer is talking to God.
- 0:50Prayer is not meditation or passive reflection.
- 0:54It is direct address to God. It is the communication of the
- 1:00human soul with the Lord who created the soul.
- 1:05Prayer is the primary way for the believer in Jesus Christ to
- 1:09communicate his emotions and desires with God and to
- 1:13fellowship with God. Unbelievers postulate that the
- 1:18Scriptures are only theory or even worse, a fable.
- 1:22But when we study and learn what are we asked to do in school, we
- 1:27have labs where we practice what is written in the school texts.
- 1:32People who struggle understanding the scriptures
- 1:34today don't do the lab work and therefore they wrongfully
- 1:39believe the scriptures can be ignored.
- 1:43This video will be an in depth look into prayer and it will
- 1:47have examples along with a prayer collection free for
- 1:51download in the library. Link in the description of this
- 1:54video. Ask and it will be given to you.
- 2:32Seek and you will find Knock and the door will be opened to you.
- 2:37For everyone who asks, receives, he who seeks finds, and to him
- 2:45who knocks, the door will be opened.
- 2:49When you pray, the goal is to receive that prayer or get what
- 2:54you pray for. One of the most heinous acts
- 2:59against God is the redefining of Him by the occultists.
- 3:05That's actually how the occultists take over the minds
- 3:08of the masses. They redefine words, redefine
- 3:11concepts. This enables them to take
- 3:14control of subject matter and from that foundation build off
- 3:18of that incorrect teaching. Even more, since Copernicus,
- 3:23occultists have begun tearing down the biblical teachings one
- 3:27topic to the next. For prayer.
- 3:31The occultists came up with the vengeful God of the Old
- 3:34Testament versus the loving God of the New Testament.
- 3:39To pray properly, it is important to know who you are
- 3:42praying to. And God has never changed.
- 3:45He never will. His wrath has only come because
- 3:49of man succumbing to great evil. God is just, and that means that
- 3:56your prayers must be just too. What does that mean?
- 4:00Prayers must be in the realm of God's plan.
- 4:04This is called reverent submission.
- 4:07Not as I will, but as you will. Your will be done.
- 4:13It consists of renouncing your own will and embracing the will
- 4:17of God. If a prayer goes against God's
- 4:20plan, it is a satanic prayer. Remember in Matthew 16 when
- 4:25Jesus is telling the disciples of his death and Peter rebuked
- 4:28the plan, how did Jesus respond? He said get behind me Satan, you
- 4:35are a hindrance to me, for you are not setting your mind on the
- 4:40things of God but on the things of man.
- 4:43Praying for Jesus to live sounds good, but it would have
- 4:47destroyed God's plan and our salvation.
- 4:52Another example, just praying for millions of dollars like the
- 4:56prosperity gospel would not work.
- 4:59What if in your current relationship with God, becoming
- 5:03a millionaire would falsely cause you to believe you don't
- 5:06require God's help anymore? Even just subconsciously, you
- 5:11would start to fall away. Would it be wise for God to
- 5:14grant your prayer? Of course not.
- 5:17God will not lead your charge towards your own destruction.
- 5:22So when we pray for anything, we need to begin by asking
- 5:27ourselves, am I praying for this because I want it or because God
- 5:33wants it? It makes a great deal of
- 5:36difference. If it is because I want it, my
- 5:39prayers may not be answered, but if it is because God wants it,
- 5:43then my prayers will be answered.
- 5:47Praying is an intimate relationship building practice
- 5:50and because of this, praying in private is not only important
- 5:54but necessary. And when you pray, do not be
- 5:57like the hypocrites, for they love to pray, standing in the
- 6:00synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others.
- 6:04Truly, I tell you, they have received the reward in full.
- 6:08But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to
- 6:13your Father who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what
- 6:17is done in secret, will reward you.
- 6:20And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like the pagans, for
- 6:24they think they will be heard because of their many words.
- 6:28Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need
- 6:31before you ask Him. Now obviously this is not
- 6:36talking about praying together as a group.
- 6:38That is a different matter. But in a prayer group you also
- 6:42do that privately in a home or designated building or location,
- 6:47even if it is a street corner. Have you ever wondered why some
- 6:52wear cloth over their heads when they pray?
- 6:55Not only because of First Corinthians 11 where a cloth can
- 6:58represent a woman's hair, thus showing obedience to God as long
- 7:02hair is a natural covering, it's also a makeshift closet for a
- 7:07man and woman to use. God loves your presence, so just
- 7:13be with Him. So seek Him when you pray, even
- 7:19if you only have 10% of faith. Or the faith, the.
- 7:23Size of a mustard seed for God. It's a start and something he
- 7:28can work with. That 10% faith will have what is
- 7:31required to grow and learn that 10% faith in prayer and
- 7:36scripture reading is exponentially better than to
- 7:39have no faith when you pray but read scriptures.
- 7:42Having 0 faith is denying God and if you have denied God, God
- 7:47will deny you. But whoever denies me before
- 7:51men, I will also deny him before my Father in heaven.
- 7:56Seeking out God literally brings him closer to you, so that 10%
- 8:01of faith will grow to 15%, then 20%, and so on.
- 8:07The presence of God through the Holy Spirit will teach you and
- 8:10prepare you. Your wisdom will rise and your
- 8:14discernment will grow. When you pray, it is important
- 8:24to remove your guilt that you have in everyday life.
- 8:28Approach God with confidence and not condemnation.
- 8:32Remove that guilt through prayer.
- 8:34We know that God will forgive us when we repent of our sins.
- 8:39So this admittance and repentance is what allows us to
- 8:43be washed of the sin as if we never committed that sin.
- 8:47So do not dwell and condemn for that is the work of the demonic.
- 8:52Just repent and if needed request help from Jesus.
- 8:56Jesus, take this thought from me, for I cannot bear it.
- 9:02The thought can be anything leading to sin. 2 Scriptures
- 9:06from the book of Hebrews tells us why we should approach God
- 9:08with confidence. Here is the first.
- 9:12Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of
- 9:16grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in
- 9:21time of need. We are praying to someone who is
- 9:24on a throne. A throne indicates a king.
- 9:27This is not merely a king, but the king, the King of all kings,
- 9:33the Lord of all Lords, the supreme ruler of the universe,
- 9:37the one who said all authority has been given to me in heaven
- 9:42and on earth. We are praying to someone who
- 9:45has both the authority and the power to do what we ask.
- 9:50Let's lift our eyes from ourselves and our own needs and
- 9:54problems and look up to that glorious throne.
- 9:58Then it is a throne of grace. Grace is one of the keywords in
- 10:02the New Testament. It always stands for something
- 10:05that goes beyond anything we can earn or achieve by our own
- 10:10efforts. Because it is a throne of grace,
- 10:13we are not limited to what we deserve or what we can achieve,
- 10:17or what our own efforts can accomplish for us.
- 10:21One awareness I have always had in my Christian life is that I
- 10:24stand in need of the mercy of God.
- 10:28This scripture encourages me to believe that if I ever come for
- 10:32mercy, mercy is what I'll receive.
- 10:35The reason some people do not receive mercy is simply that
- 10:38they never see their need of it and come in faith to receive it.
- 10:43Secondly, therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to
- 10:47enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus, let us draw near
- 10:52with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith.
- 10:58Confidence, full assurance. Everything suggests boldness,
- 11:03boldness based upon the fact that the blood of Jesus has been
- 11:06shed and has been sprinkled in the very presence of God.
- 11:11The blood is now speaking on our behalf even when we do not know
- 11:15how to pray. The positive side of coming to
- 11:18God boldly is to come with confidence.
- 11:21The other side is that we come without condemnation.
- 11:25Several passages of Scripture speak about the need to be free
- 11:28from condemnation. Here's one from the Psalms.
- 11:33If I regard wickedness in my heart, the Lord will not hear.
- 11:37To regard iniquity in my heart means that I am conscious of
- 11:41something that condemns me. Every time I approach God with
- 11:44faith, Satan reminds me of this flaw that is not right, that has
- 11:49not been dealt with. It might be a sin that has not
- 11:52been confessed, or if it has been confessed, I have not
- 11:55claimed or received God's forgiveness.
- 11:57If I am conscious of this flaw in my heart, I will not receive
- 12:01that which I pray for. I must remove the consciousness
- 12:05of sin from within my heart and come boldly before His throne.
- 12:11Basically this is done by. Faith.
- 12:13Because if we confess our sin, God is faithful and just to
- 12:18forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- 12:24Once we confess, repent, and trust God for the forgiveness
- 12:29and the cleansing that He has promised, we must not go on
- 12:32worrying about our sins. If we do, if we remain sin
- 12:37conscious as we pray, God will not hear our prayers.
- 12:42If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear
- 12:45me. But do you know what the
- 12:48psalmist goes on to say? The Lord has heard me.
- 12:52In other words, he rose above Satan's attempt to condemn him.
- 12:55John expressed the same thought. Beloved, if our heart does not
- 13:01condemn us, we have confidence before God and whatever we ask
- 13:06we receive from him. We have to get rid of any
- 13:10attitude that suggests some kind of righteousness in ourselves.
- 13:14We have no righteousness of our own.
- 13:16We must come to a place where we are trusting in God's
- 13:19faithfulness and that produces confidence.
- 13:23Forgiveness is imperative. In the Sermon on the Mount, one
- 13:26of the things Jesus taught us to say, as I suppose we all know,
- 13:30is this. Forgive us our debts as we
- 13:33forgive our debtors. Forgive us as we forgive others.
- 13:37What we might not realize is that this is an important
- 13:41condition for receiving answers to prayer.
- 13:44Jesus also said, And whenever you stand praying, if you have
- 13:48anything against anyone, forgive Him.
- 13:53Now that does not leave out anything or anybody.
- 13:56When you pray, forgive that. Your Father in heaven may also
- 14:00forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive,
- 14:04neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.
- 14:10This is absolutely clear and it is spoken to believers, those
- 14:15who have God as their heavenly Father before you.
- 14:18And I pray we must forgive. It will do no good to try to
- 14:23approach God in prayer with unforgiveness in our hearts
- 14:28against anybody about anything. Ask God according to God's Word.
- 14:38This is intimately related to the previous condition being
- 14:41directed by the Holy Spirit. You see, the great issue in
- 14:46prayer is the will of God. If I am praying according to the
- 14:50will of God, then as we have seen in Scripture, I know that
- 14:54God hears me. And if I know that God hears me,
- 14:58I know that I have the petition that I ask, how do I know the
- 15:04will of God? Where is the will of God
- 15:07revealed? The answer is in His word.
- 15:12The great revelation of the will of God is the Word of God.
- 15:16And the Word of God is packed from the beginning to end with
- 15:20divine promises. The apostle Peter calls them
- 15:24exceedingly great and precious promises.
- 15:27And do you know what those promises are?
- 15:31The promises of God. Are the will of God.
- 15:35Thus, when you find a promise that relates to your situation
- 15:39and meets your need, that promise is God's will for you.
- 15:44God never promised anything that was not His will.
- 15:48Anything else would be inconsistent.
- 15:51Suppose you came to him and said, Lord, you promised he
- 15:54would not say, yes, I promise, but I don't want to do it.
- 16:00This is the great secret that clinches our life of prayer.
- 16:06We pray according to God's will as revealed in His Word.
- 16:11So David came and relaxed before Almighty God and said something
- 16:15on this order. God, you have been so good to
- 16:18me. I want to take a little time and
- 16:20appreciate you and thank you for your goodness.
- 16:24Then David said this. And now, O Lord, the word which
- 16:28you have spoken concerning your servant and concerning his
- 16:31house, let it be established forever, and do as you have
- 16:35said. Those 5 short words of one
- 16:38syllable each contain the essence of effective praying.
- 16:42Do as you have said, Lord, you said it, please do it.
- 16:48If God has said He will do it, and you ask Him to do it, you
- 16:54can know He is going to do it. His promises are the revelation
- 17:00of His will. If you were just starting out in
- 17:15prayer, how do you start? You start from a contrite or
- 17:19remorseful heart, and you start with repentance and a request
- 17:23for the Holy Spirit or ruah ha kodesh.
- 17:28That is what salvation requires. Let's start with the Salvation
- 17:33prayer from bridemovement.com. In order to be saved, we must
- 17:40not only believe that Jesus died, but that he was
- 17:44resurrected on the third day. The victory wasn't in the death,
- 17:48but in the resurrection of Jesus Christ when he arose, having all
- 17:52power in heaven and on earth. He later ascended to heaven and
- 17:58sat down at the right hand of the Father, where he remains to
- 18:02this day, continually making intercession for us.
- 18:07This is the God that I serve. This is the God of love.
- 18:12This is the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- 18:15The Bible says that if we confess the Lord Jesus Christ
- 18:18with our mouth and believe that God has raised him from the dead
- 18:22in our heart, we will be saved. If you believe this testimony of
- 18:26Jesus Christ in your heart, then you can confess this prayer with
- 18:30your mouth and you will be saved.
- 18:33Jesus, I come before you and acknowledge that I am a Sinner.
- 18:39I repent, I call upon your name, and I ask you to cleanse me with
- 18:44your blood. Forgive me of my sins.
- 18:48I invite you into my heart. Jesus Christ, I believe that you
- 18:53were born a virgin, died, and were resurrected on the third
- 18:56day that I might have eternal life.
- 19:00I open my life to you and I ask you to come in and be my Lord
- 19:06and Savior. Thank you for saving me.
- 19:10In Jesus name I pray, Amen. Let us take the Sermon on the
- 19:17Mount and the Lord's Prayer in Matthew. 6.
- 19:21This prayer is a template given to us on how we should pray.
- 19:25Jesus starts by saying in this manner, pray our Father in
- 19:29heaven, hallowed be your name, your Kingdom come, your will be
- 19:34done on earth as it is in heaven.
- 19:38If you've been paying attention, you'll hear the points laid out
- 19:41for you previously in this video.
- 19:44First of all, we address God as Father, our Father in heaven.
- 19:49That makes all the difference. We are not praying to a remote
- 19:52or unknown deity or some impersonal force.
- 19:57We are praying to a person who has made himself our Father
- 20:01through Jesus Christ. The next phrase, hallowed be
- 20:05your name, expresses an attitude of reverence of worship.
- 20:09After we have acknowledged God as Father, we need to adopt an
- 20:14attitude of reverence. Next we come to the two
- 20:17petitions. Your Kingdom come and then your
- 20:22will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
- 20:26Notice that we do not begin by praying for what we need.
- 20:30That follows. Give us this day Our Daily Bread
- 20:34and forgive us our trespasses. But that is not where we start.
- 20:39We start with God's purposes. What is important to God?
- 20:45When done genuinely, it sheds our natural conceit and reveals
- 20:49our humility. Now we need to have a little
- 20:52clarity about the way the Kingdom is established.
- 20:56Paul defined the Kingdom in its essential nature.
- 21:00The Kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness
- 21:05and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
- 21:09Righteousness comes first. Without true righteousness,
- 21:13there will never be true peace. The world today talks a great
- 21:17deal about peace. Many sections of the church are
- 21:21praying for peace. That is a good prayer, but bear
- 21:25in mind that without righteousness, peace will never
- 21:28come. God says twice through the
- 21:32prophet Isaiah that there is no. Peace for the wicked.
- 21:36The Kingdom can come invisibly, both in the individual hearts of
- 21:40believers and in fellowship of the true Church.
- 21:44But that is not the ultimate. The ultimate is the visible
- 21:49establishment of God's Kingdom. And just as the invisible
- 21:53Kingdom requires a king, so does the visible Kingdom.
- 21:57Only when the king himself has returned visibly and in person
- 22:02can the true Kingdom of God be established on earth.
- 22:06Then Jesus said this in his prayer.
- 22:08Your will be done on Earth. As it is in heaven.
- 22:13I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
- 22:16that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy,
- 22:22acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service, and do not
- 22:27be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing
- 22:32of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable
- 22:37and perfect will of God. For I say.
- 22:41Through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you,
- 22:44not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think,
- 22:48but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of
- 22:54faith. For as we have many members in
- 22:58one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so
- 23:02we being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members
- 23:07of one another. Having then gifts, deferring
- 23:11according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them.
- 23:15If prophecy, let us prophecy in proportion to our faith or
- 23:19ministry, let us use it in our ministry.
- 23:22He who teaches in teaching, He who exhorts in exhortation, He
- 23:27who gives with liberality, He who leads with diligence, He who
- 23:32shows mercy with cheerfulness, this is what God's will be done
- 23:37means. This does not mean everything is
- 23:40perfect on earth, but it means that in any given situation,
- 23:44God's purpose and solution can be perfectly worked out.
- 23:48Do you believe that? You see, you will pray
- 23:51differently if you convince yourself that it's true.
- 23:54Once you have successfully and righteously begun your prayer,
- 23:57you may enter into the next stage where you ask for bread
- 24:01and forgiveness of sin, as you have forgiven others who sinned
- 24:05against you. Then for strength against
- 24:08temptation of the flesh, because God is the Kingdom and the power
- 24:13and deserves all the glory for all time.
- 24:48To understand spiritual warfare, we need to understand what we
- 24:52are fighting against. Scripture reveals that at the
- 24:56present time, Satan's headquarters are in the
- 24:59heavenlies or second heaven. Paul gives us a clear picture of
- 25:03this in his letter to the Ephesians.
- 25:06For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
- 25:10principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness
- 25:14of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
- 25:19The King James Version, while quite familiar, does not give us
- 25:22the most accurate translation. Let's break this verse down into
- 25:26a more literal understanding. For we wrestle not against flesh
- 25:30and blood, but against principalities, against powers.
- 25:35In Ephesians and other passages, the words principalities and
- 25:40powers are often joined closely together.
- 25:42The word principalities derived directly from the Greek word for
- 25:46ruler. The word power, is the word for
- 25:49authority. So to say that our wrestling
- 25:53match as believers is not against flesh and blood, not
- 25:57against human beings, but against rulerships in the realms
- 26:01of their authority. It is also against rulers of the
- 26:05darkness of this world. A more literal wording of this
- 26:09would be against the world rulers of the present darkness.
- 26:14The darkness of this present age has a world headquarters from
- 26:19which it is ruled. The headquarters is the mid
- 26:22heaven and the ruler is Satan. In Ephesians 22, Satan is called
- 26:27the Prince of the power of the air.
- 26:30He is then the ruler of the realm of authority that is
- 26:34defined by the air. Many people picture Satan living
- 26:38down in the bowels of the earth. He's not there.
- 26:42He's in the heavenlies. Obviously he is not in the
- 26:45heaven that is God's dwelling. He was cast down from that, but
- 26:50neither is he on earth. Revelation 12/9 tells us that a
- 26:55time is coming when he will be cast down out of the heavenlies
- 26:59onto earth. Then it says he is going to make
- 27:02all the trouble he can in the short time that is left to him.
- 27:07But in the meanwhile, up to the fulfillment of that passage in
- 27:11Revelation 12, his headquarters are in the mid heaven.
- 27:15We also wrestle against spiritual wickedness in high
- 27:18places. The King James wording high
- 27:20places here is completely misleading.
- 27:23The same Greek word is used numerous times in Ephesians, and
- 27:27in each of these places it is correctly translated heavenly.
- 27:32Now let's view our more literal translation of Ephesians 612.
- 27:36Our wrestling match is not against flesh and blood, but
- 27:40against rulerships and the realms of their authority,
- 27:43against the world rulers of the present darkness, against the
- 27:46spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly.
- 27:50This is our spiritual conflict in the book of Daniel.
- 27:53The Bible gives us a vivid picture of this battle in
- 27:57progress. Let's turn there.
- 28:00Daniel, taken from Israel to Babylon as a youth, remained a
- 28:04fervent student of the literature of his people.
- 28:07As such, he was aware that the prophetic timeline of the
- 28:10Babylonian captivity was coming to a close in the first year of
- 28:14his reign. I Daniel, understood by the
- 28:17books the number of the years specified by the word of the
- 28:21Lord through Jeremiah the prophet, that he would
- 28:24accomplish 70 years in the desolations of Jerusalem.
- 28:28Daniel began to pray for this approaching eventuality with the
- 28:32time of fasting. In those days I Daniel, was
- 28:35mourning 3 full weeks. I ate no pleasant food, no meat
- 28:40or wine came to my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all till
- 28:45three whole weeks were fulfilled.
- 28:47Daniel saw what God had committed himself to do and
- 28:50responded with this attitude. God, I'm in this with you.
- 28:55Count me in. I'll give myself to prayer and
- 28:58fasting as I never have done before until I see the
- 29:01fulfillment of your promise and experience.
- 29:05We will explore the theme of fasting as a powerful component
- 29:08to our prayers, particularly as regards to the church in the
- 29:12last days. For now, we note that fasting is
- 29:16a kind of spiritual mourning. Jesus said in the Sermon on the
- 29:20Mount. Blessed are those who mourn, for
- 29:23they shall be comforted. Let me note that we must be very
- 29:27sensitive to the Holy Spirit about this.
- 29:29We should not try to mourn when the Holy Spirit is comforting
- 29:32us, and we should not try to work up excitement and thrill
- 29:37when the Holy Spirit is calling us to mourning.
- 29:39Daniel spent 21 days mourning, praying, and waiting upon God.
- 29:44He did not fast completely, but he abstained from all except the
- 29:49most basic forms of food and drink.
- 29:51At the end of three weeks, the Archangel Gabriel was sent to
- 29:54Daniel with revelation of God's purpose for Israel in the last
- 29:58days. The rest of chapter 10 and the
- 30:01next two chapters of Daniel describe the advent of the
- 30:04Angel, his appearance, and the revelation that he brought.
- 30:08For our purposes of understanding spiritual warfare,
- 30:11let's look at the timeline of the angels appearing.
- 30:15Then he said to me, Do not fear Daniel, for from the first day
- 30:20that you set your heart to understand and to humble
- 30:23yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have
- 30:27come because of your words. Daniel's prayer was heard the
- 30:32first day that he started to pray, but the Angel did not
- 30:35arrive till three weeks later. What happened in the meanwhile?
- 30:40The next verse tells us this. But the Prince of the Kingdom of
- 30:44Persia withstood me 21 days. And behold, Michael, one of the
- 30:48chief Princess, came to help me, for I had been left alone there
- 30:53with the kings of Persia. When the Archangel Gabriel spoke
- 30:56about the Prince of the Kingdom of Persia, he was not talking
- 31:00about a human being, he was talking about one of the dark
- 31:04angels in the mid heaven. Gabriel started on his journey
- 31:09the first day that Daniel started to pray.
- 31:11Angelic warfare in the heavenlies withheld his arrival.
- 31:16The good holy angels were opposed and resisted by Satan's
- 31:19angels, the angels of darkness. But notice it was Daniel's
- 31:24prayer on earth that got the Archangel through.
- 31:27Do you see how important our prayers are?
- 31:29The Archangel depended on Daniel and his prayer to get through.
- 31:33Notice also that the initiative is with earth, not heaven.
- 31:38Daniel started the whole thing moving.
- 31:40And I venture to say in certain respects this remains true
- 31:44today. We are not waiting for God, God
- 31:48is waiting for us. When we move, heaven will move.
- 31:53Then we'll come conflict and our prayers on earth will settle it.
- 31:57We who are believers and know how to pray are much more
- 32:01important than most of us have the faintest idea.
- 32:05This is the basic picture of spiritual conflict as it is
- 32:09unfolded in Scripture. When the Angel left Daniel, he
- 32:13gave this further insight. And now I must return to fight
- 32:18with the Prince of Persia. And when I have gone forth,
- 32:21indeed the Prince of Greece will come.
- 32:24The Prince of Persia was a satanic Angel that dominated the
- 32:28Kingdom of Persia. This was of particular
- 32:31importance to Daniel because Persia was ruling over God's
- 32:34people, Israel. When the Persian Empire was
- 32:38defeated, the Empire of Greece followed.
- 32:41Behind the empire of Greece was another Satanic Angel called the
- 32:45Prince of Greece. This shows us that Earth's
- 32:48empires have their counterpart in Satan's empire.
- 32:52In other words, Satan seeks to control the empires of Earth
- 32:55through its rulers in order to make its leaders and governments
- 32:59instruments of his will. We must pray against this.
- 33:04The decisive factor in this Great War with Satan is just one
- 33:08thing. Praying believers.
- 33:12We are the ones who tip the scale for victory on God's side,
- 33:15on earth, in our dominion. This is an astonishing fact, but
- 33:20Scripture makes it clear that this is so.
- 33:23Our prayers are not unimportant. They are not secondary.
- 33:29They are the decisive issue in the entire spiritual conflict.
- 33:34True believers are the most powerful weapon.
- 33:37This is why God removes the tares from the wheat and why
- 33:41there is a great falling away. The true believers prayers will
- 33:45be in concentrate form. This is also why the true
- 33:49believers are haunted down and murdered.
- 33:51Welcome to revelation. If we are involved in spiritual
- 33:57warfare against a spiritual enemy, it is obvious that we
- 34:00must have spiritual weapons. Carnal weapons are of no use
- 34:05whatever for spiritual warfare. You're not going to get God a
- 34:10demon with a GAT. You can't blast a fallen
- 34:14messenger with infrared homing missiles built by Stark
- 34:18Enterprises. This is what Paul said.
- 34:21For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the
- 34:27flesh. For the weapons of our warfare
- 34:30are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down
- 34:34strongholds. Strongholds are the altars built
- 34:38to worship the demonic realm and the fallen messengers in
- 34:42whatever terminology they are representing themselves as such,
- 34:46but not limited to the Egyptian Sumerian, the Greek, Canaanite,
- 34:51Roman Norris gods and demigods. These altars hosted human and
- 34:57animal sacrifices, blood drinking, sex, magic, and
- 35:00rituals, all designed to break down the veil and allow entities
- 35:04behind the veil to roam freely in our domain.
- 35:07Whose business is it to pull them down?
- 35:10Ours. And we have been given the
- 35:13weapons, the weapons of our warfare, cast down arguments at
- 35:17every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of
- 35:20God. The great high thing that exalts
- 35:23itself against the knowledge of God is.
- 35:25Satan's Kingdom. In the heavenlies, we have been
- 35:28given the weapons to cast Satan's Kingdom down.
- 35:31We are the ones who are going to do it.
- 35:34The weapons have been placed in our hands rather than the hands
- 35:37of the angels, though the angels have their weapons.
- 35:46God has provided us three main spiritual weapons, the Word of
- 35:49God, the name of Jesus, and the blood of Jesus.
- 35:54We launch these weapons by these means, prayer, praise,
- 35:57preaching, and testimony. Let's look at these briefly.
- 36:01In Ephesians, Paul lists the spiritual armor that the
- 36:05Christian soldiers need for spiritual conflict.
- 36:09The first five items of armor are all defensive, girding our
- 36:12waist with truth, putting on the breastplate of righteousness,
- 36:17seeing that our feet are shot with the preparation of the
- 36:20gospel of peace, taking up the shield of faith and the helmet
- 36:24of salvation. These protect the believer.
- 36:27There is no weapon of offense or attack until we come to the 6th
- 36:32item, which is the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of
- 36:37God. Here is the great weapon of
- 36:39attack. If you do not use the Word of
- 36:42God, you may be able to protect yourself, but you have nothing
- 36:46to attack Satan with. If you want to put Satan to
- 36:49flight, if you want to get him out of your way, out of your
- 36:54home, out of your family, out of your business, if you do not
- 36:58want just to tolerate him and hold him off, the weapon you
- 37:02must use is the weapon of attack, the sword of the Spirit,
- 37:06which is the Word of God. Note too, that it is the sword
- 37:11of the Holy Spirit. We can take God's Word in our
- 37:13mouths, but it only achieves its full effect when it is the Holy
- 37:18Spirit within us. Who actually wields it?
- 37:21The perfect pattern of how to use the sword of the Spirit is
- 37:25provided by Jesus's encounter with Satan at the time of his
- 37:30temptation in the wilderness. Three times Satan approached
- 37:34Jesus with a temptation, and each time Jesus drove him back
- 37:38with the same phrase it is written.
- 37:41Jesus used no other weapon but the spoken word of the Lord.
- 37:45God has made the same weapon available to each Christian.
- 37:48It is important, however, to bear two things in mind.
- 37:51First, Jesus had already been filled with the Holy Spirit.
- 37:55It was the Holy Spirit in Jesus who directed him in the use of
- 37:59the sword. And 2nd, Jesus, like every
- 38:02Jewish boy of his day, had memorized long passages of
- 38:05Scripture. When Satan confronted him, he
- 38:09did not need to consult the concordance or go to a library.
- 38:13He had already stored up the Scriptures in his memory.
- 38:15Surely we today need to do that just as much as Jesus did.
- 38:24Another powerful weapon for us to use is the name of Jesus.
- 38:28These two verses in Psalms 8 gives us a unique understanding.
- 38:34O Lord our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth,
- 38:40who have set Your glory above the heavens, out of the mouth of
- 38:44babes and nursing infants. You have ordained strength
- 38:47because of your enemies, that you may silence the enemy and
- 38:52the Avenger. The enemy and the Avenger is
- 38:55Satan, and God has given us the means to silence him.
- 39:00I hope you have connected the name of the Avenger with the
- 39:03satanic institution. Marvel.
- 39:05Your children are marveling over The Avengers, the ones who come
- 39:10to earth to corrupt and destroy you.
- 39:12So take up your weapon. What is the weapon?
- 39:17It is the name of the Lord. O Lord our Lord, how excellent
- 39:22is your name in all the earth. The channel that launches the
- 39:26name is the human mouth, out of the mouth of babes and nursing
- 39:30infants. Spiritual things find expression
- 39:34out of the mouth. This is true for both good and
- 39:38evil. Look at Revelation 16 verse 13,
- 39:42for instance. John saw three unclean spirits
- 39:45like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth
- 39:49of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
- 39:53Why does the psalmist refer to the mouth of babes as nursing
- 39:56infants? To show that we do not have to
- 39:59be spiritual giants. God has chosen the weak, the
- 40:03foolish, the things that are despised to bring to not all
- 40:07Satan's Kingdom in the heavenlies.
- 40:09The devil is so busy trying to keep you from praising the Lord
- 40:13when you effectively perfectly with your whole heart in unison.
- 40:17With one accord, praise the name of Jesus.
- 40:20It shuts the devil's mouth and if ever there was a thing he
- 40:25does not like, it is to have his mouth shut.
- 40:30He will do everything he can, religious pressure, social
- 40:33pressure, fear of man to keep you from turning loose in your
- 40:37prayers and praising the name of Jesus.
- 40:41The land and air around us can be purified through perfect
- 40:45praise. The blood of Jesus.
- 40:53Revelation 12, verse 11. They overcame him by the blood
- 40:58of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.
- 41:01Who is they? The believers on earth.
- 41:04Who is him? Satan.
- 41:08What I want to emphasize is that the final victory comes not to
- 41:13God's angels, but to the believers.
- 41:16This passage describes war in heaven.
- 41:20Michael and his angels are fighting.
- 41:21Satan and his angels are fighting.
- 41:24But the believers overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by
- 41:28the word of their testimony. When you want to praise Jesus or
- 41:32utter the word of God, or testify to what the Lord has
- 41:35done for you, Satan will put a barrier in front of your lips.
- 41:39Why? Because you are casting down a
- 41:41stronghold. The blood of Jesus is the
- 41:44ultimate weapon. The whole issue of our battle
- 41:47against evil centers in one thing, righteousness.
- 41:51Because of Jesus's righteousness, God has made it
- 41:55possible that the devil will have nothing to bring against us
- 41:58in heaven. God made Jesus, who knew no sin,
- 42:02to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God
- 42:07in him. You can proffer the best Baptist
- 42:09lifestyle, you have the best Methodist principles, the best
- 42:13Roman Catholic piety, and he can tear it to shreds.
- 42:17But when you bring in the righteousness of Jesus Christ,
- 42:21he is silent. He has nothing more to say.
- 42:25You will find that you can almost measure your spiritual
- 42:28progress by the extent to which you accept and appropriate by
- 42:32faith the righteousness of Jesus Christ on your own behalf.
- 42:36This is the great lesson that we have to learn as children of
- 42:40God. We are accepted in the Beloved
- 42:43not for what we are, but for what Jesus is.
- 42:47The words of Jesus in Matthew 633 are often misunderstood.
- 42:52Seek first the heaven of God and his righteousness, in other
- 42:57words, not your own righteousness.
- 43:00In Romans 10/3, Paul wrote that the Jewish nation was attempting
- 43:05to establish its own righteousness.
- 43:08They had not submitted themselves to the righteousness
- 43:11of God by faith in Jesus Christ. It takes humility to accept
- 43:16Jesus righteousness because it means first of all we have
- 43:21renounced every shred of our old self righteousness.
- 43:25All our righteousness are like filthy rags.
- 43:28Notice not our sins, but our righteousness are nothing more
- 43:34than filthy rags in God's sight. As long as we flaunt the filthy
- 43:38rags of our church membership, our good.
- 43:40Deeds. Our godly living, the devil will
- 43:44tear us to shreds in the presence of God, but when we
- 43:48come to the place where we are relying on nothing but the blood
- 43:52of Jesus Christ and His righteousness, there is nothing
- 43:56in us that the devil can put his finger on and bring up by way of
- 44:01accusation before God. You might want to commit these
- 44:06verses to memory. Forgiven in Christ.
- 44:09Ephesians 17 tells us two things that we have when we are in
- 44:13Christ. In Christ we have redemption
- 44:16through His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to
- 44:19the riches of His grace. Remember when we are outside of
- 44:24Christ, the blood does not avail.
- 44:26Redemption means bought back by a ransom price that had to be
- 44:32paid. Psalm one O 7 verse 2.
- 44:35Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from
- 44:40the hand of the enemy. This, by the way, is one of the
- 44:44most powerful scriptures for teaching us the value of
- 44:47testimony. Let the redeemed of the Lord say
- 44:49so means to take the Word and use it.
- 44:53Here then is my testimony on the basis of Ephesians 17.
- 44:57Through the blood of Jesus, I am redeemed out of the hand of the
- 45:01devil. This same scripture tells me
- 45:04that all my sins are forgiven. So my next testimony is this,
- 45:08through the blood of Jesus all my sins are forgiven.
- 45:12Next is first John chapter one, verse 7.
- 45:17If we walk in the light as Jesus is in the light, we have
- 45:21fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ, God's
- 45:25Son, cleanses us from all sin. These verbs are all continuing
- 45:30present tenses indicating an ongoing process.
- 45:34If we walk in the light continuously, we will have
- 45:37fellowship continuously and the blood will cleanse us
- 45:40continuously. The cleansing by the blood of
- 45:43Jesus is not a single isolated experience.
- 45:47It is ever present. This is why we pray without
- 45:50ceasing that fellowship and prayer keeps us cleansed.
- 45:55If I am meeting the conditions, if I am walking in the light, if
- 45:59I am in fellowship with my fellow believers, then my
- 46:02testimony is this. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's
- 46:06Son, continually cleanses me from all sin.
- 46:12Romans 59 tells us that we are justified by His blood.
- 46:18The word justified is not understood by many present day
- 46:21believers. Just and righteousness are
- 46:24interchangeable terms both in Hebrew and in Greek, in the Old
- 46:28Testament and in the New. So to be justified means to be
- 46:32made righteous. Here is our next testimony.
- 46:35Through the blood of Jesus I am justified, made righteous, just
- 46:41as if I'd never sinned. Hebrews 1312 tells us that
- 46:47through the blood of Jesus we are sanctified, that He might
- 46:50sanctify the people with his own blood suffered outside the gate.
- 46:55The word sanctify is similar in form to the word justify.
- 46:59To justify means to make just or righteous.
- 47:03To sanctify means to make saintly or holy.
- 47:07Here is our next testimony. Through the blood of Jesus, I am
- 47:11sanctified, made holy, set apart to God.
- 47:16The climax of our testimony is found in First Corinthians
- 47:19chapter 6, verse 19 and 20. I want to look first, however,
- 47:25at two other verses from this chapter in First Corinthians.
- 47:29Here is one. Now the body is not for sexual
- 47:32immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
- 47:37And then we read, Do you not know that your bodies are
- 47:42members of Christ? Or do you not know that your
- 47:45body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you
- 47:49have from God, and you are not your own?
- 47:53For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God in your
- 47:58body and in your spirit, which are gods.
- 48:03The Lord wants you for Himself. He has paid the price of His
- 48:07precious blood. If you want to hold on to your
- 48:11own life, you can. But remember, in that case you
- 48:15have not been bought. You cannot have it both ways.
- 48:19If you belong to God, you do not belong to yourself.
- 48:22If you belong to yourself, you do not belong to God.
- 48:26This is our next testimony. My body is a temple of the Holy
- 48:30Spirit, redeemed, cleansed, sanctified by the blood of
- 48:35Jesus. Therefore, Satan has no place in
- 48:38me, no power over me through the blood of Jesus.
- 48:43Here then, is our testimony by which we apply the blood to our
- 48:46lives. The references precede each
- 48:49confession. Through the blood of Jesus, I am
- 48:52redeemed out of the hand of the devil.
- 48:56Through the blood of Jesus, all my sins are forgiven.
- 49:01The blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses me continually
- 49:04from all sin. Through the blood of Jesus, I am
- 49:08justified, made righteous, just as if I'd never sinned.
- 49:14Through the blood of Jesus I am sanctified, made holy and set
- 49:18apart. My body is a temple of the Holy
- 49:21Spirit, redeemed, cleansed, sanctified by the blood of
- 49:26Jesus. Therefore, Satan has no place in
- 49:29me, no power over me through the blood of Jesus.
- 49:35If you really believe those words, the next.
- 49:37Thing to do is. Praise the Lord for it.
- 49:41Here is a word of praise that you might use.
- 49:44Thank you God, for the precious blood of Jesus.
- 49:48Thank you for the redemptive blood of Christ.
- 49:50Thank you for the justifying, sanctifying, precious blood of
- 49:53the Lamb of God. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
- 49:58I praise you, Jesus, for you paid the price of my redemption.
- 50:02You shed your precious blood on the cross.
- 50:05You are the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
- 50:09And now, Lord, I have taken the blood from the basin and
- 50:13transferred it to my own personal needs by the word of my
- 50:17testimony. Amen.
- 50:21Let me direct. Your attention to one more
- 50:22passage of Scripture that is relevant to this type of prayer.
- 50:26Speaking about Jesus, the Word says this.
- 50:30This is he who came by the water and blood, Jesus Christ, not
- 50:35only by water, but by water and blood.
- 50:38And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is
- 50:42truth. There are three that bear
- 50:45witness on earth, the Spirit, the water and the blood, and
- 50:50these three agree as one. There is nothing in the
- 50:54Christian life that is just a set of rules.
- 50:56Salvation is not a technique. Healing is not a technique.
- 51:00Deliverance from evil spirits is not a technique.
- 51:03Anybody who tries to reduce any of these things to a set of
- 51:07rules misses the point. The purpose of it all is this.
- 51:13When we use the water of the Word, when we use the blood in
- 51:16our testimony, and when the Spirit bears witness, then
- 51:20heaven's floor drops out and heaven comes to earth.
- 51:25Wherever God's people fast and come together and praise, there
- 51:30always will be prophetic revelation.
- 51:33Prophetic ministry comes out of the fellowship of God's people
- 51:36earnestly seeking Him. No religious games, no parlor
- 51:40tricks, no spiritual cocktail parties, just desperate hearts
- 51:45before God. You minister to the Lord.
- 51:49He ministers to your problems. If God's people could only see
- 51:53this. Our weapons are mighty through
- 51:57God. We reach up to God and we split
- 52:00that mid heaven of darkness between us.
- 52:03God reaches down and touches whatever problems we face as
- 52:07nations and individuals when we use the spiritual weapons that
- 52:11God has given us. God will be just as faithful to
- 52:14us today. Matthew chapter 18 verse 19 and
- 52:1820. Again I say to you that if 2 of
- 52:21you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will
- 52:25be done for them by my Father in heaven.
- 52:29For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I
- 52:32am there in the midst of them. There are twelve types of
- 52:49prayer, praise and Thanksgiving, Worship, petition, intercession,
- 52:57supplication, command, commitment, dedication,
- 53:03persistence, blessing, imprecatory or cursing, praise
- 53:10and Thanksgiving. It is a good habit to start your
- 53:14prayers with praise and Thanksgiving.
- 53:18Praise is offered to God for who He is and what He does in
- 53:23general. Thanksgiving is offered to God
- 53:27for what He has done for us. In particular, Psalms 48 verse
- 53:32one tells us great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.
- 53:38Praise is vocal, it is uttered. Praise should be offered in
- 53:43proportion to God's own person. He is great.
- 53:47Great in wisdom, great in power, great in His creative works,
- 53:53great in His redemptive acts, great in His dealings with us.
- 53:58Everything that God is and does is great.
- 54:03He should therefore be greatly praised.
- 54:08We never waste time when we are praising the Lord.
- 54:13Most of us do it far too little. Thanksgiving is also vocal.
- 54:19It takes all the greatness that is universal about God and makes
- 54:24it specific to our particular cases.
- 54:28Listen to what Paul said. Be anxious for nothing, but in
- 54:33everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving.
- 54:38Let your requests be made known to God.
- 54:43Thanksgiving and praise gives us direct access to God.
- 54:48Psalm 100, verse 4 gives these familiar words.
- 54:54Enter His gates with Thanksgiving and His courts with
- 54:57praise. Give thanks to Him.
- 55:00Bless His name. The gate leads into the courts.
- 55:04The courts lead into His presence.
- 55:07You get through the gates with Thanksgiving and through the
- 55:10courts with praise. Then you are there.
- 55:17The true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and
- 55:21truth. Worship.
- 55:24Worship is not singing hymns or choruses.
- 55:27Worship is not a declaration of God's.
- 55:29Attributes. Vocal expression has to do with
- 55:33praise and Thanksgiving. Worship has to do with attitude.
- 55:38In the 6th chapter of Isaiah, the prophet described a vision
- 55:42of the throne of God. Above it he saw the seraphim,
- 55:46the burning, fiery creatures that surround God's throne.
- 55:51He saw that each had six wings, and he saw how they used them.
- 55:56With one pair of wings, a seraphim covered their faces,
- 56:00With the second pair they covered their feet.
- 56:02With the third pair, they flew. We understand from this picture
- 56:07that two pairs of wings are given to worship, indicating by
- 56:10covering their faces and feet, the third pair to service
- 56:15indicating by flying. This tells us that worship comes
- 56:19before service, and also that worship is twice as important as
- 56:24service. Worship, in a sense, is covering
- 56:28your face and your body. It is bowing low, bending the
- 56:32head. Of course, this does not have to
- 56:35be solely a description of a physical body.
- 56:38We are talking about something in the spirit, the approach of
- 56:42our spirits to God. This is represented in the
- 56:47Lord's Prayer. In this manner, therefore, pray
- 56:53our Father in heaven. After we have first addressed
- 56:57God, the next thing we say is hallowed.
- 57:00Be your name. Your name is holy.
- 57:03It is a privilege even to use your name.
- 57:06We do it with reverence. We do it in lowliness.
- 57:10We do it in awe and wonder and honor.
- 57:14That is worship, a heart bowed low in God's presence.
- 57:31Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask
- 57:36anything according to His will, He hears us.
- 57:41And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we
- 57:46have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
- 57:51Petition is the most used prayer asking for physical and material
- 57:56needs to be met. But remember, praying is not
- 58:00just thinking of anything we want and asking for it.
- 58:04Praying is discovering God's revealed purpose in Scripture
- 58:09and then praying for the outworking of that purpose.
- 58:13It is not just asking that is important, but asking and
- 58:17receiving. I have seen this many times.
- 58:21God touches someone with a healing touch, but the person
- 58:24does not receive it. One way not to receive an answer
- 58:28to a petition is to go on praying for it.
- 58:32Some people pray themselves into faith and then pray themselves
- 58:37out of faith. Jesus was speaking about this
- 58:40very matter of petition when He said this.
- 58:43Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe
- 58:48that you have received it and it will be yours.
- 58:52Notice this. Though.
- 58:55Receiving is not the same as having.
- 58:58Receiving is settling. It Having is the experience that
- 59:02follows the actual experience of having.
- 59:05What we have prayed for may have to wait, but by faith we receive
- 59:10what we pray for when we pray. Say you have a financial need,
- 59:15you pray you are in touch with God.
- 59:18You say God we need $2000 by Thursday.
- 59:22Then you say thank you, God, you have received it.
- 59:27Nothing has changed in the circumstances, but you have
- 59:30received it. You will have it.
- 59:33For example, if you have made a petition regarding physical
- 59:37healing, for instance, you say Thank you, Lord, you touched me.
- 59:42Your power is at work in my body.
- 59:45Every time you feel a twinge of pain or you see a symptom, you
- 59:49say, Thank you Lord, Your supernatural power is at work in
- 59:53my body, and as you respond that way, the healing is completed.
- 59:58Hebrews 10 tells us that we have need of endurance so that after
- 1:00:05we have done the will of God, we may receive the promise.
- 1:00:10In the gap between doing the will of God and receiving the
- 1:00:14promise, you can do two things. You can keep the plug in or pull
- 1:00:19the plug out if you pull the plug out.
- 1:00:22You get nothing. If you keep the plug in, you get
- 1:00:25everything. Something that can help us in
- 1:00:29this process of keeping the plug in is learning to make the right
- 1:00:33confession, that is declaring our faith boldly with our lips.
- 1:00:41I have found that there are certain ways to express your
- 1:00:44faith that have tremendous power.
- 1:00:48They release the power of God and they encourage us and
- 1:00:51strengthen us. Very often when I'm praying in
- 1:00:55the morning or at the end of the day, I make these simple
- 1:00:58confessions. Here, for instance, is a
- 1:01:02statement that concerns the body that I say several times a week.
- 1:01:07My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed,
- 1:01:12and sanctified by the blood of Jesus.
- 1:01:16My members are instruments of righteousness, yielded to God
- 1:01:19for His service and for His glory.
- 1:01:23The devil has no place in me, no power over me, no unsettled
- 1:01:28claims against me. All has been settled by the
- 1:01:32blood of Jesus. I overcome Satan by the blood of
- 1:01:36the Lamb and by the word of my testimony.
- 1:01:58Intercession. Intercession is one of the
- 1:02:01highest prayer skills for a Christian.
- 1:02:04It requires a lot of practice, skill, and maturity.
- 1:02:10To intercede means literally to come in between.
- 1:02:15The intercessor is one who comes in between God and those for
- 1:02:20whom he is praying. The Bible gives us examples of
- 1:02:25some extreme cases. One was the time that Abraham
- 1:02:29stood between the Lord and the wicked city of Sodom.
- 1:02:34Genesis 18 tells the story of the Lord and his two angels
- 1:02:38visiting Abraham's home, a remarkable picture of
- 1:02:41hospitality. Abraham offered them water to
- 1:02:45wash their feet. He killed a calf for their meal.
- 1:02:48He chatted with them in the shade of the terebinth trees.
- 1:02:52Then the Lord began to unfold to Abraham His purpose in being
- 1:02:56there. He was going down to the wicked
- 1:02:58cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to investigate the situation and
- 1:03:02take appropriate action. Now this concerned Abraham quite
- 1:03:06a bit because his nephew Lot, who was in a backslidden
- 1:03:10condition, was living in Sodom. Abraham knew that if judgement
- 1:03:15came upon Sodom, Lot and his family would.
- 1:03:17Be part of that. Judgement.
- 1:03:18At that point the men, meaning the two angels, turned away from
- 1:03:24there and went towards Sodom, but Abraham still stood before
- 1:03:28the Lord. That is the position of the
- 1:03:31intercessor. Abraham stood in front of the
- 1:03:35Lord and said, Lord, hold on a moment, don't just go yet.
- 1:03:40I have something to say to you. In a sense, he held the Lord
- 1:03:44back and then began a time of bargaining.
- 1:03:48Abraham asked if the Lord would spare the cities if he could
- 1:03:52find 50 righteous people, then 40, and so on until the Lord
- 1:03:57agreed to spare Sodom for the sake of 10 righteous persons.
- 1:04:01When someone's sin has caused a breach, the intercessor stands
- 1:04:05before God and says, Lord, I'm stopping the gap.
- 1:04:09Your blow can't fall upon him unless it first falls upon me.
- 1:04:14When Moses had to come down the mountain and discover the molten
- 1:04:17calf, I want you to notice that God would not act against His
- 1:04:22people in this manner unless Moses complied.
- 1:04:25He said, Moses, get out of my way and let me deal with these
- 1:04:30people. You see Moses, I can wipe them
- 1:04:34out and still keep my promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
- 1:04:39I will simply establish you as the one whom I rebuild this
- 1:04:44great nation. Moses could have said, Yes, God,
- 1:04:48blot out the people. After all, they have been
- 1:04:51nothing but a burden on me since I LED them out of Egypt.
- 1:04:55Start again with me. I'll be a great ancestor of this
- 1:04:59people. Could you imagine being in that
- 1:05:02conversation? That's not what Moses did.
- 1:05:05He showed maturity. Moses besought the Lord his God
- 1:05:09and said, Lord, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy
- 1:05:13people, which thou has brought forth out of the land of Egypt?
- 1:05:17In other words, Lord, they're not mine, they're yours.
- 1:05:22I can't handle them. You are the one to deal with
- 1:05:26them. Then this humble man of prayer
- 1:05:28went to work. He stated first that his supreme
- 1:05:31concern was for God's glory. He argued that since God had
- 1:05:35brought these people out of Egypt, the Egyptians would say
- 1:05:40that he had evil intentions against them all along.
- 1:05:44Next he reminded God of his promise and his covenant.
- 1:05:48Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel thy servants, to whom
- 1:05:52thou swearest by thine own self, and settest unto them I will
- 1:05:57multiply your seed as the stars of heaven.
- 1:06:01And all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your
- 1:06:05seed, and they shall inherit it forever.
- 1:06:10And the Lord repented of the evil which he thought to do unto
- 1:06:14his people. Having stayed the Lord's hand,
- 1:06:17Moses went down to the bottom of the mountain, dealt with the
- 1:06:20people, then came up again. Moses returned to the Lord, and
- 1:06:24said, O, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them
- 1:06:29gods of gold. Yet now if thou wilt forgive
- 1:06:33their sin, and if not, blot me, I pray thee out of thy book
- 1:06:38which thou hast written. In this exchange, we see Moses's
- 1:06:43heart of fervent prayer, supplication, and intercession.
- 1:06:48God, these people have sinned grievously.
- 1:06:51They deserve your stroke. I ask that you have mercy on
- 1:06:55them. But if not, Lord, let their
- 1:06:58judgement come upon me. Psalm One, O 6, gives a divine
- 1:07:02commentary on this incident. They made a calf in Horeb, and
- 1:07:08worshipped the molten image. Thus they change their glory
- 1:07:12into the similitude of an ox that eateth grass.
- 1:07:16They forgot God their Savior, which had done great things in
- 1:07:20Egypt, wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things
- 1:07:25by the Red Sea. Therefore he said that he would
- 1:07:29destroy them, had not Moses, his chosen, stood before him in the
- 1:07:33breach to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
- 1:07:38When someone's sin has caused a breach, the intercessor stands
- 1:07:42before God and says, Lord, I'm stopping the gap.
- 1:07:45Your blow can't fall upon him unless it first falls upon me.
- 1:07:50This is not the only form of intercession, but it is the
- 1:07:53Supreme. The intercessor is God centered.
- 1:07:58He is not problem focused. He is not focused on what man
- 1:08:03can or cannot do. He has a vision of what God can
- 1:08:07do when no intercessor can be found among God's people.
- 1:08:12It is the supreme mark of failure in our responsibility to
- 1:08:17God and to our fellow man. Supplication.
- 1:08:26Supplication is a complicated word for some people.
- 1:08:30When you are supplicating, you are a supplicant.
- 1:08:34There is only one thing you ask for, mercy.
- 1:08:39It is often tied to intercession.
- 1:08:42Let's look at two passages that describe this.
- 1:08:46Zechariah 12 verse 10 is a prophecy directed at Israel.
- 1:08:52The Lord was speaking and he said, I will pour on the House
- 1:08:56of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem the spirit of grace
- 1:09:01and supplication. Notice the order.
- 1:09:04First grace, then supplication. If you say God, I want to come
- 1:09:10before you in supplication. God will say, if I don't give
- 1:09:14you the grace, you can't do it. Actually, no prayer of any value
- 1:09:19can be offered to God without His grace.
- 1:09:23If it does not initiate in the grace of God, it is worthless.
- 1:09:27The next part of that verse in Zechariah 12 reads.
- 1:09:31Then they will look on me whom they pierced.
- 1:09:34Yes, they will mourn for him as one mourns for his only Son, and
- 1:09:40grieve for him as one grieves for a first born.
- 1:09:44This verse describes the turning point of God's dealings with
- 1:09:47Israel. It is the point at which they
- 1:09:50come to repentance and acknowledgement of the Messiah,
- 1:09:53and it is brought about by the spirit of grace and
- 1:09:57supplication. Hebrews 4 gives another
- 1:10:00beautiful picture of supplication, one we have
- 1:10:03already viewed. Hebrews, of course, was written
- 1:10:07to Jewish believers. Let us therefore come boldly to
- 1:10:11the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to
- 1:10:15help in time of need. God sits upon a throne, but it
- 1:10:20is a throne of grace. And what do we come for?
- 1:10:24To obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
- 1:10:29If you tend to feel overwhelmed by a particularly serious
- 1:10:34situation and think that there is nothing left to do, then hear
- 1:10:38what God says. The time of need is the time to
- 1:10:43come. The only people who fail to
- 1:10:45receive mercy and grace are the people who do not come to the
- 1:10:49throne. We do not see our own need.
- 1:10:53We are blinded by self righteousness and religiosity.
- 1:10:58But if we could earn God's mercy, we would not need it.
- 1:11:11Command speaks with aggression and authority.
- 1:11:14Joshua 10 is a good place to start.
- 1:11:17This scripture describes a scene in the middle of a battle.
- 1:11:20The Israelites were defeating their enemies, but it was
- 1:11:23getting dark. If night fell, they would not be
- 1:11:27able to finish the job. Off.
- 1:11:29Verses 12 through 14 when Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day
- 1:11:34when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of
- 1:11:38Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel sun stands still over
- 1:11:45Gibeon and moon in the valley of Ajalon.
- 1:11:51So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the people
- 1:11:56had revenge upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book
- 1:12:01of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the
- 1:12:04midst of the heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a
- 1:12:09whole day. And there has been no day like
- 1:12:13that before or after it, that the Lord heeded the voice of a
- 1:12:18man. That is the prayer of command
- 1:12:21addressed to the Lord. We can tell situations and
- 1:12:25circumstances how to behave, but we will not have results unless
- 1:12:30we have first contacted the Lord and 2nd received the anointing,
- 1:12:35the release for such a prayer. The New Testament example is the
- 1:12:39incident of the fig tree that Jesus cursed.
- 1:12:42There are two gospel accounts of this story.
- 1:12:45Here's the first. Now in the morning as he
- 1:12:49returned to the city, he was hungry, and seeing a fig tree by
- 1:12:53the road, he came to it and found nothing on it but leaves.
- 1:12:57And he said to it, Let no fruit grow on you ever again.
- 1:13:02Immediately the fig tree withered away, and when the
- 1:13:07disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How did the
- 1:13:11fig tree wither away so soon? So Jesus answered and said to
- 1:13:15them, assuredly. I say to you, if you have faith
- 1:13:19and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig
- 1:13:23tree, but also if you say to this mountain be removed and be
- 1:13:28cast into the sea, it will be done.
- 1:13:32And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will
- 1:13:35receive notice. There are two ways of using
- 1:13:39words of command that are brought out there.
- 1:13:42One way is toward things on behalf of God.
- 1:13:45The other way is toward God on behalf of things.
- 1:13:48Jesus did not pray about the fig tree.
- 1:13:51He also did not pray to the fig tree, which would have been
- 1:13:54idolatry. He spoke to the fig tree on
- 1:13:58behalf of God. This was not prayer.
- 1:14:02He simply told the fig tree what to do, and the fig tree did it
- 1:14:07according to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
- 1:14:09Then we may either speak to the thing on behalf of God, as Jesus
- 1:14:14did to the fig tree, or speak to God on behalf of a thing which
- 1:14:19is what we normally call prayer. The same incident is recorded in
- 1:14:23Mark 11. But there is one further truth
- 1:14:26revealed by Jesus which really is key into understanding it
- 1:14:31all. Now in the morning as they
- 1:14:34passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots, and
- 1:14:38Peter remembering, said to him, Rabbi, look, the fig tree which
- 1:14:41you cursed has withered away. So Jesus answered and said to
- 1:14:45them, Have faith in God. The literal translation is have
- 1:14:50the faith of God. The prayer of command is God's
- 1:14:55faith expressed in utterances. Thus it is just as authoritative
- 1:15:00as if God Himself had spoken them.
- 1:15:02In a certain sense, because these words are being breathed
- 1:15:06forth by the Spirit of God, they are God-given utterances.
- 1:15:11Scripture affirms that this word of command is for us to employ
- 1:15:15today. The effective, fervent prayer of
- 1:15:19a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature
- 1:15:24like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not
- 1:15:28rain, and it did not rain on the land for three years and six
- 1:15:32months. And he prayed again, and the
- 1:15:35heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.
- 1:15:39In other words, through fervent prayer, you and I can do the
- 1:15:44same. That same power is available to
- 1:15:46us. This instrument of prayer is
- 1:15:49particularly appropriate to use when we follow Jesus directive
- 1:15:54to cast out demons. Commitment.
- 1:16:08As with the prayer of petition, where we ask for something in
- 1:16:11prayer, in commitment. The way to pray about a thing is
- 1:16:15to stop praying about it. I am sure that statement was as
- 1:16:19clear as mud so. Let's dive into it.
- 1:16:23Here is a prayer of commitment. You will recognize that the
- 1:16:27first part of this verse from the Psalms was quoted by Jesus
- 1:16:31on the cross. Into your hand I commit.
- 1:16:34My spirit. You have redeemed to me.
- 1:16:37O Lord God of Truth, there are times when our best decision is
- 1:16:43to commit our situations to the Lord and simply take our hands
- 1:16:48off. A modern commitment phrase you
- 1:16:50may have heard is. Jesus, take the wheel.
- 1:16:54Basically, there is nothing you can do and you feel like the
- 1:16:59situation is hopeless. Commit your way to the Lord,
- 1:17:04trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to.
- 1:17:07Pass. The Hebrew actually says roll
- 1:17:10your way on the Lord. When your way becomes too heavy
- 1:17:14for you and you can no longer handle it, just roll it off onto
- 1:17:19the Lord and He will take care of it.
- 1:17:23Commitment is an act and once you commit you should not go
- 1:17:27back and see if it's working. You trust.
- 1:17:31So if you commit something to the Lord, leave it.
- 1:17:41Dedication. Dedication is similar to
- 1:17:47commitment. In both cases we give the object
- 1:17:50of our prayer to the Lord, but in dedication the thing we are
- 1:17:54offering is ourselves. In a prayer of dedication we set
- 1:17:58ourselves apart, choosing to consecrate or sanctify ourselves
- 1:18:03for the particular work or calling that God has placed on
- 1:18:07our lives. John 17 verse 19, which is part
- 1:18:11of what we call the High priestly prayer of Jesus.
- 1:18:15He was speaking about his relationship to his disciples
- 1:18:19and to the Father. He said for their sakes, I
- 1:18:22sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.
- 1:18:27Like Jesus, if we choose to set ourselves apart to God, then we
- 1:18:32belong to God. We are in His hands and are not
- 1:18:36allowed to do what we want. Jesus said in John 10 verse 36
- 1:18:42that the Father had sanctified him and sent him into the world.
- 1:18:48How did the Father sanctify Jesus?
- 1:18:50He did not make him holy, of course, because he was already
- 1:18:54holy. Rather, He set him apart to a
- 1:18:58work that no one else could do. So Jesus at this point was
- 1:19:02saying, I sanctify myself. I set myself apart to the work
- 1:19:07for which God has already set me apart, Always with
- 1:19:11sanctification. The initiative is with God.
- 1:19:14You cannot sanctify yourself for something for which God has not
- 1:19:18sanctified you. You have to find out what God
- 1:19:21has set you apart for, and then you set yourself apart to do it,
- 1:19:27responding with your own will. God has set us apart, but it
- 1:19:32does not become effective until we set ourselves apart.
- 1:19:37You do not have to do this. This is voluntary, but remember
- 1:19:41that the Bible does not give you permission to make a vow and
- 1:19:45then ask to change it back. Persistence.
- 1:20:00Jesus taught his disciples to take up the prayer instrument of
- 1:20:03persistence. Luke 11 verse 5 through 8.
- 1:20:08And he said to them, Which of you shall have a friend, and go
- 1:20:13to him at midnight, and say to him, Friend, lend ME3 loaves.
- 1:20:18For a friend of mine has come to me on his journey, and I have
- 1:20:22nothing to set before him, and he will answer from within, and
- 1:20:27say, Do not trouble me. The door is now shut, and my
- 1:20:32children are with me in bed. I cannot rise and give it to
- 1:20:36you. I say to you, though he will not
- 1:20:40rise and give to him, because he is his friend, yet because of
- 1:20:46his persistence he will rise and give him as many as he needs.
- 1:20:51In other words, you keep on knocking, letting your friend
- 1:20:55know he is not going to get any sleep that night until he gets
- 1:21:00up and gives you the bread. Jesus commanded that kind of
- 1:21:04persistence. So I say to you, ask and it will
- 1:21:10be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be
- 1:21:15open to you, for everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks
- 1:21:22finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
- 1:21:27This is quite different from the prayer of petition, which
- 1:21:31receives the thing being prayed for, even though it often
- 1:21:34requires perseverance to keep the plug in.
- 1:21:39In that case, you pray, you receive, you say thank you,
- 1:21:43Lord. That is it.
- 1:21:45In this kind of persistent prayer, you go on knocking,
- 1:21:49knocking, knocking, knocking. Continue to ask for the thing
- 1:21:53you desire until the doors open. Acts 12 gives us an example of
- 1:21:59persistent prayer by the early church.
- 1:22:02King Herod had the apostle James, the brother of John,
- 1:22:06executed. Then he proceeded to arrest
- 1:22:09Peter and hold him for execution immediately after the Passover.
- 1:22:15At this point the church in Jerusalem betook themselves to
- 1:22:18earnest, persistent prayer on Peter's behalf.
- 1:22:23Sometimes God will not work merely through a prayer of an
- 1:22:26individual. It takes the corporate prayer of
- 1:22:29a group of committed believers praying together.
- 1:22:32So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying
- 1:22:36to God for him. Notice that word.
- 1:22:39But that butt changed the course of events. the United corporate
- 1:22:44prayer of the church opened the way for the intervention of an
- 1:22:48Angel who came from God and delivered Peter out of the
- 1:22:52prison. In this way the prayers of the
- 1:22:55Church for Peter were answered, but it still remained for God to
- 1:22:59deal with King Herod. In the closing verses of Acts
- 1:23:0212, Luke described Herod, arrayed in his royal apparel,
- 1:23:06making a speech to the people of Tahrir and Saddam.
- 1:23:10At the end of his oration, the people applauded, shouting.
- 1:23:14This is the voice of God, not of a man puffed up with conceit at
- 1:23:20his own achievement. Herod accepted the applause.
- 1:23:24The record concludes that immediately an Angel of the Lord
- 1:23:28struck Herod down because he did not give God the glory, and he
- 1:23:32was eaten by worms and died. See again the outworking of the
- 1:23:38persistent prayer of the church. Everything that had been
- 1:23:41resisting the Word and the purpose of God was overthrown,
- 1:23:45and Herod died a miserable, agonizing, and shameful death.
- 1:23:50Notice that it was the intervention of an Angel that
- 1:23:53terminated the career of Herod. What brought the intervention of
- 1:23:57the Angel? Twice in this story?
- 1:24:00The prayer of the church. So we ask ourselves in the light
- 1:24:03of all that, who was really ruling?
- 1:24:07Was it Herod or the Church? The answer is Herod sat on the
- 1:24:11throne, but the Church ruled by, in this case, persistent prayer.
- 1:24:18If you really believe you are going to get it, you will not
- 1:24:20stop. The only way you can lose is by
- 1:24:24giving up. Since many prayers of
- 1:24:26persistence and petition as well involve the need for some aspect
- 1:24:30of healing, I want to mention here the difference between the
- 1:24:34working out of miracles and healings, for the two are
- 1:24:37distinct. Miracles actually go beyond
- 1:24:40healings. Miracles are often instantaneous
- 1:24:44and often visible, whereas healings are often invisible and
- 1:24:48gradual. Some people come to get healed
- 1:24:52and if they do not get a miracle, they think nothing has
- 1:24:55happened, but it may be that they are receiving a healing.
- 1:25:00This is very important to understand because if you're
- 1:25:03receiving a healing, a lot will depend on how you respond.
- 1:25:13Blessing. Here is a biblical prayer of
- 1:25:17blessing that will likely be familiar to you #623 to 26 Speak
- 1:25:23to Aaron and his son, saying, this is the way you shall bless
- 1:25:27the children of Israel. Say to them, the Lord bless you
- 1:25:31and keep you. The Lord make his face shine
- 1:25:34upon you and be gracious. To you.
- 1:25:37The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
- 1:25:43Here are 6 blessings that you can pray for someone you want to
- 1:25:46bless. The Lord bless you, keep you,
- 1:25:51make His face shine upon you, Be gracious to lift up His
- 1:25:56countenance upon you and give you peace.
- 1:26:01So they shall put my name on the children of Israel, and I will
- 1:26:06bless. Them.
- 1:26:07Putting His name on them makes them complete.
- 1:26:10This is how you can bless your children.
- 1:26:13You can put the name of the Lord upon them every day when they go
- 1:26:16to school or about their various activities and He will keep them
- 1:26:27imprecatory or cursing. The other side of blessing is
- 1:26:32cursing. Most Christians are not aware
- 1:26:35that we are also charged to curse.
- 1:26:38But let me say initially that this is not a license to bring
- 1:26:41destruction wherever you choose. Let's return to the story in
- 1:26:46Matthew 21 of Jesus walking past the fig tree that had no fruit
- 1:26:51on it, only leaves. A lot of.
- 1:26:54Plans and programs and other things we see today look as
- 1:26:58though they might have fruit, but there is none when you look
- 1:27:01closer. Jesus was not indifferent about
- 1:27:04this. He did not say, well, nothing
- 1:27:07there. He said, let no one ever eat
- 1:27:10fruit from you again. The next morning, as we have
- 1:27:13noted, when they passed by the fig tree, it was withered from
- 1:27:16the roots. The disciples were impressed and
- 1:27:19this is what Jesus said to them. So Jesus answered and said to
- 1:27:24them, assuredly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt,
- 1:27:30you will not only do what was done to the fig tree.
- 1:27:32But also. If you say to this mountain be
- 1:27:36removed and be cast into the sea, it will be done.
- 1:27:40Now we all focus on removing the mountain, but Jesus said we can
- 1:27:44also do what was done to the fig tree.
- 1:27:46It was cursed. But if the Spirit of God prompts
- 1:27:50you to use this kind of prayer, it can further the purpose of
- 1:27:54God. Jesus was never indifferent, He
- 1:27:57was never neutral. He was either for or against and
- 1:28:02he expected everybody. To be like him, let's put these
- 1:28:12twelve types of prayers into practice.
- 1:28:16The goal is to open your thoughts in a new way that the
- 1:28:20organized churches does not teach.
- 1:28:23Prayers first activate the spirit realm before they come
- 1:28:27into our realm. So while these prayers may seem
- 1:28:32fantastical in the spirit realm, they are heat seeking weapons.
- 1:28:37Unlock your belief and know that what you pray for terrifies the
- 1:28:43enemy. What you pray for brings light
- 1:28:47into the darkness. Here is a prayer for repentance
- 1:28:52and confession of sins. Father God, I come to you in the
- 1:28:58name of Jesus, asking for forgiveness of my sins.
- 1:29:03I'm repenting for Call out all the sins that you know you are
- 1:29:07currently participating in. I ask you to wash me clean from
- 1:29:12these sins. Guide me by your Holy Spirit to
- 1:29:16doing the things that are pleasing to you.
- 1:29:20Cleanse my mind so that I will have pure thoughts.
- 1:29:24Cleanse my tongue so that my speech may be pleasing to you.
- 1:29:30Cleanse my ears so that I will listen to only what you want me
- 1:29:35to hear. Wash my hands so I will only
- 1:29:39touch what you want me to touch. Wash my feet so that I will
- 1:29:44travel only where you would have me go and forgive me for moving
- 1:29:50towards evil. I accept the completed work of
- 1:29:53Jesus who died on the cross for all my sins.
- 1:29:56I consider myself clean in the eyes of the spiritual beings
- 1:30:00that are around me. I am a new creation and old
- 1:30:05things have passed away and there is now no condemnation for
- 1:30:09those who are in Christ Jesus. When they look at me, they see
- 1:30:13me clothed in the righteousness of Christ in Jesus name, Amen.
- 1:30:27This next prayer is called the Evening Prayer and is found in
- 1:30:31Dan Duvall's book, Prayers that Shake Heaven and Earth, Book one
- 1:30:35of Three. It's also found on his website,
- 1:30:38bridemovement.com. Dan has also cited the
- 1:30:41scriptures that are used in the prayer.
- 1:30:45Father, I come before you in prayer.
- 1:30:47I enter into your gates with Thanksgiving and enter into your
- 1:30:50courts with praise. I praise you because you are
- 1:30:53worthy, holy, righteous and just.
- 1:30:55I plead the blood of Jesus over myself, my dwelling place, my
- 1:30:59spouse, my children, my car, my bank accounts, and everything
- 1:31:03under my stewardship. I pray that your heavenly hosts,
- 1:31:06your angels would guard this dwelling place roundabout both
- 1:31:10above and below and against every dimensional access point
- 1:31:13in Jesus name. I will see of the Lord that you
- 1:31:15are my refuge and my fortress. My God, in you will I trust.
- 1:31:19I thank You that you set a hedge of protection round about me,
- 1:31:22that no plague will come near my dwelling.
- 1:31:24I thank you in advance that every curse, hex, spell,
- 1:31:27incantation, voodoo, sorcery, form of witchcraft, dark art, or
- 1:31:31other form of weaponized demonic activity sent against me would
- 1:31:34be reversed upon the heads of the center sevenfold, that they
- 1:31:37would know that Jesus is Lord. Moreover, I pray that every
- 1:31:40human spirit, fallen angelic spirit, or otherwise malevolent
- 1:31:43spirit attempting to come against me or my household would
- 1:31:46be apprehended by our heavenly hosts such that they cannot so
- 1:31:49much as set foot upon this property.
- 1:31:52I pray that they would be escorted out to wherever the
- 1:31:54Lord Jesus sends them Pierce through with many arrows,
- 1:31:57discomforted by the lightning in the process, that they would
- 1:32:00know that Jesus is Lord. Furthermore, I cancel and render
- 1:32:03powerless all attempts at mind to mind communication, dream
- 1:32:06manipulation, and all other forms of psychic and telepathic
- 1:32:09intrusion in the name of Jesus. I thank You that all of my
- 1:32:12dreams are inspired by Your Holy Spirit.
- 1:32:15I declare that my sleep will be sweet, uninterrupted, and that
- 1:32:18upon waking I will be well rested.
- 1:32:20I also put on the armor of light.
- 1:32:22I take up the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of
- 1:32:25righteousness, the belt of truth.
- 1:32:26I declare that my feet are shod with the preparation of the
- 1:32:29gospel of peace, and I take up the shield of faith to quench
- 1:32:32every fiery dart of the wicked one and the sword of the Spirit,
- 1:32:34which is the word of God. I pray all of this in the mighty
- 1:32:37name of Jesus. Amen.
- 1:32:44Father, I come before you in prayer.
- 1:32:46I enter into your gates with Thanksgiving, and enter into
- 1:32:49your courts with praise. Enter into His gates with
- 1:32:52Thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.
- 1:32:56Be thankful unto Him and bless His name.
- 1:32:59As I praise you because you are worthy, holy, righteous, and
- 1:33:02just, I plead the blood of Jesus over myself, my dwelling place,
- 1:33:06my spouse, my children, my car, my bank accounts, and everything
- 1:33:11under my stewardship. And they overcame him by the
- 1:33:14blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, And
- 1:33:17they loved not their lives unto death.
- 1:33:20Revelation 12 verse. 10. I pray that your heavenly hosts,
- 1:33:25your angels, would guard this dwelling place round about both
- 1:33:29above and below and against every dimensional access point
- 1:33:32in Jesus name. And Elijah prayed and said,
- 1:33:36Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see.
- 1:33:40And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw.
- 1:33:45And behold, the mountain was full of horses and Chariots of
- 1:33:50fire round about Elijah. Second Kings, chapter 6, verse
- 1:33:5517. I will see of the Lord that you
- 1:33:58are my refuge and my fortress. My God, in you will I trust.
- 1:34:02I will say of the Lord, he is my refuge and my fortress, my God,
- 1:34:08in him will I trust. Psalms, chapter 91.
- 1:34:12Verse 2. I thank you that you set a hedge
- 1:34:15of protection round about me, that no plague will come near my
- 1:34:18dwelling. There shall no evil befall thee,
- 1:34:21neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
- 1:34:25Psalm chapter 91, verse 10. I thank you in advance that
- 1:34:29every curse, hex, spell, incantation, voodoo, sorcery,
- 1:34:33form of witchcraft, dark art, or other form of weaponized demonic
- 1:34:37activity sent against me would be reversed upon the heads of
- 1:34:39the sender sevenfold that they would know that Jesus is Lord.
- 1:34:43The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against
- 1:34:47thee to be smitten before thy face.
- 1:34:50They shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee
- 1:34:55seven ways. Deuteronomy chapter 28, verse 7.
- 1:35:02Moreover, I pray that every human spirit, fallen angelic
- 1:35:05spirit, or otherwise malevolent spirit attempting to come
- 1:35:07against me or my household would be apprehended by our heavenly
- 1:35:10hosts such that they cannot so much as set foot upon this
- 1:35:13property. Demons are not the only spirits
- 1:35:18lurking around. The devil also has human agents
- 1:35:22that do much of their work out of body.
- 1:35:25This is sometimes called astral projection.
- 1:35:29I also assign angels to apprehend fallen angels and
- 1:35:32other malevolent spirits attempting to come against me.
- 1:35:37I pray that they would be escorted out to wherever the
- 1:35:39Lord Jesus sends them peers through with many arrows,
- 1:35:41discomforted by the lightning in the process, that they would
- 1:35:45know that Jesus is Lord. Yeah, he sent out his arrows and
- 1:35:50scattered them, and he shot out lightnings and discomfited them.
- 1:35:55Psalm 18, verse 14. Furthermore, I cancel and render
- 1:35:59powerless all attempts at mind to mind communication, dream
- 1:36:02manipulation, and all other forms of psychic and telepathic
- 1:36:05intrusion in the name of Jesus. Psychic phenomena, telepathy,
- 1:36:10and other forms of mind to mind communication.
- 1:36:13Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to
- 1:36:18the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the
- 1:36:22revelation of Jesus. Christ first Peter, chapter one,
- 1:36:26verse 13. I thank you that all of my
- 1:36:29dreams are inspired by your Holy Spirit.
- 1:36:32God spoke on many occasions in the Bible through dreams.
- 1:36:35For instance, he spoke to Jacob in a dream in Genesis 46 two,
- 1:36:40and he spoke to Daniel in a dream in Daniel 7, verse seven
- 1:36:45and seven verse 13. I declare that my sleep will be
- 1:36:49sweet, uninterrupted, and that upon waking I will be well
- 1:36:53rested. When thou liest down, you shall
- 1:36:56not be afraid. Yeah, thou shalt lie down, and
- 1:37:01thy sleep shall be sweet. Proverbs 3, verse 24.
- 1:37:06I also put on the Armor of Light.
- 1:37:09The night is far spent, the day is at hand.
- 1:37:13Let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us
- 1:37:17put on the armor of light. Romans 13, verse 12.
- 1:37:23I take up the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of
- 1:37:26righteousness, the belt of truth, I declare that my feet
- 1:37:28are shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, and I take
- 1:37:31up the shield of faith to punch every fiery dart of the wicked
- 1:37:34one, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of
- 1:37:36God. Wherefore take unto you the
- 1:37:40whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil
- 1:37:46day, and having done all to stand.
- 1:37:50Stand therefore having your loins girt about with truth, and
- 1:37:56having on the breastplate of righteousness, and your feet
- 1:38:00shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, Above all
- 1:38:05taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to
- 1:38:09quench all the fiery darts of the wicked, and take the helmet
- 1:38:15of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of
- 1:38:19God. Ephesians 613 to 17.
- 1:38:24I pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
- 1:38:29And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that
- 1:38:35the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- 1:38:38John chapter 14 verse 13 Anointing oil.
- 1:39:01Use of the anointing oil is biblical.
- 1:39:04The oil was used to anoint kings.
- 1:39:08It is an offering to God commissioning someone into their
- 1:39:14calling. It is a symbol of imparting a
- 1:39:19blessing. If you see yourself being
- 1:39:21anointed in dreams or a vision, you know God is imparting a
- 1:39:26blessing. It is used for sanctification.
- 1:39:31It can be used for deliverance and healing.
- 1:39:35It is used in worship anointing oil versus the holy anointing
- 1:39:43oil. Exodus 30, verse 22 to 33 The
- 1:39:49Lord spoke to Moses. Take choice spices, 12 1/2 lbs
- 1:39:55of free flowing myrrh, half that about 6 1/4 lbs of sweet
- 1:40:01smelling cinnamon, 6 1/4 lbs of sweet smelling cane, and 12 1/2
- 1:40:09lbs of cassia. All weighed according to the
- 1:40:13sanctuary. Shekel and 4 quarts of olive
- 1:40:17oil. You are to make this into a
- 1:40:21sacred anointing oil, a perfumed compound, the work of the
- 1:40:27perfumer. It will be sacred anointing oil.
- 1:40:31With it you are to anoint the tent of Meeting, the Ark of the
- 1:40:36Testimony, the table and all its utensils, the lampstand and its
- 1:40:42utensils, the altar of insects, the altar for the burnt
- 1:40:46offering, and all its utensils, and the Laver and its base.
- 1:40:50So you are to sanctify them, and they will be most holy.
- 1:40:55Anything that touches them will be holy.
- 1:40:57You are to anoint Aaron and his. Sons.
- 1:41:00And sanctify them so that they may minister.
- 1:41:03As my priest, you are to tell the Israelites this is to be my
- 1:41:09sacred anointing oil throughout your generation.
- 1:41:13It must not be applied to people's bodies.
- 1:41:16And you must not. Make any like it with the same
- 1:41:19recipe. It is holy, and it must be holy
- 1:41:23to you. Whoever makes perfume like it
- 1:41:26and whoever puts any of it on someone not a priest, will be
- 1:41:30cut off from his people. Because I read this.
- 1:41:34You're going to go out and find these ingredients, aren't you?
- 1:41:38But we are commanded not to make any like it for.
- 1:41:41Ourselves, these were used for the Tabernacle.
- 1:41:45Olive oil was the main oil used in anointing.
- 1:41:49So feel free to perfume your oil, but don't follow that
- 1:41:53recipe. Make your own oil, make it your
- 1:41:56own and this is how you will prepare and pray over the oil.
- 1:42:01Take a separate bottle of oil and call it unto the Holy Spirit
- 1:42:05and invite him into the room. Once you feel the presence, your
- 1:42:09body will have a tingling. Then begin praying, Holy Spirit,
- 1:42:15and I know that all power comes from You.
- 1:42:18Every anointing comes from you. I ask that you would bless this
- 1:42:23anointing oil for use as I pray over myself, my family, my
- 1:42:29friends, my home, and of it. I pray that you would use it as
- 1:42:35an agent of Your love and mercy towards us.
- 1:42:39I'm doing this according to Your word in James chapter 5 verse
- 1:42:4414, or you say that we should anoint with oil when we pray
- 1:42:50over the sick. I also do this as a symbol of
- 1:42:53your protection over my home and my family.
- 1:42:57It is a representation of your blood Jesus, that covers.
- 1:43:02I know that this is completely powerless until you've rested on
- 1:43:08it and made it holy. So I'm asking you to rest upon
- 1:43:12it and make it holy. I'm setting it aside as
- 1:43:17consecrated and holy only for your work.
- 1:43:21Lord, I thank you for blessing it and enriching it with Your
- 1:43:25spirit. Speak to me whenever you need me
- 1:43:28to use this oil. I pray that in the spirit realm
- 1:43:32it is seen as a symbol of Your presence in Jesus name.
- 1:43:38Amen. How to anoint your home and
- 1:43:48property. Here's what you do.
- 1:43:52Take the anointing oil and over every window and door to your
- 1:43:56house, just put the sign of the cross in the corner of it.
- 1:44:01You don't need to put it in the center from top to bottom or
- 1:44:06anything like that. Next thing you know, winter
- 1:44:09rolls around and your visitors are seeing a giant congealed oil
- 1:44:13mark on your windows and doors. Truly, just take it easy.
- 1:44:18Putting it on the corner is fine.
- 1:44:21Today Jews are using a mezuzah at the door and it's not that
- 1:44:25big. Anyway, as you're putting this
- 1:44:28mark, you just need to pray a simple prayer as you make the
- 1:44:32sign of the cross. With the sign of the cross, I'm
- 1:44:36making a declaration that this house belongs to the Lord Jesus
- 1:44:40Christ, that no sickness, death, theft, evil or malevolent
- 1:44:46technology can enter this home. This oil is a symbol of the
- 1:44:51blood of Jesus Christ. No weapons that are formed
- 1:44:54against us or this property shall prosper and any
- 1:44:58destruction must pass over us in Jesus name.
- 1:45:02We are safe and protected under the blood of Jesus.
- 1:45:07Next, anoint some wooden stakes for the purpose of marking your
- 1:45:12land. Go out unto your land and stake
- 1:45:15the land for Jesus, making the same declaration.
- 1:45:20Staking your land will create a border in the spirit realm and
- 1:45:24in this realm. The prayer doesn't have to be
- 1:45:27exactly like this, but you get the idea.
- 1:45:30You can include some of the dimensional aspects like Dan
- 1:45:34Duvall has, but the point is that Jesus owns the house and
- 1:45:38the land and the oil is a symbol of his blood giving protection
- 1:45:43and covering to its occupants. Now I have to warn you, this is
- 1:45:49not a joke. Once you pray the prayer, don't
- 1:45:52be surprised that some people can no longer come to your
- 1:45:55house. Plans will just automatically
- 1:45:58get cancelled. Keep your eyes open and don't
- 1:46:01force them to come to your house either.
- 1:46:04God is just revealing to you that there is something on them.
- 1:46:09Remember, you gave him the house.
- 1:46:12It is all in the spirit realm and our war is not against flesh
- 1:46:17and blood. They won't know why or even
- 1:46:20realize they can no longer come into your house.
- 1:46:23But you know because you prayed this prayer other uses for
- 1:46:29anointing oil. So let's say you want to receive
- 1:46:32dreams and visions from God. You can anoint the temple side
- 1:46:36of your head and your forehead and pray, asking Him to give you
- 1:46:41dreams before you go to bed. Anoint your ears to help you
- 1:46:44hear God. You can also do the same things
- 1:46:47over your eyelids. If you are praying to see in the
- 1:46:50spirit realm to receive the gift of healing, you can anoint the
- 1:46:53palms of your hand. Or if you are being commissioned
- 1:46:57to write a book, you can anoint your hands as well.
- 1:47:00Before you start writing, the idea is to anoint the area where
- 1:47:04you need the empowerment or impartation.
- 1:47:08Anoint your transportation. Anoint your children's
- 1:47:11transportation. The same applies if you're
- 1:47:16praying over someone who is sick.
- 1:47:18You can anoint that area if it is appropriate, of course.
- 1:47:31House cleaning prayer. Before you clean your house with
- 1:47:35prayer, you must first cleanse yourself spiritually by
- 1:47:38performing a prayer of repentance.
- 1:47:41Then you may begin cleaning the house.
- 1:47:44These are the steps for the prayer.
- 1:47:46Put on the armor of God. You need to ask God for angelic
- 1:47:49assistance. You need to open your windows
- 1:47:52and doors and tell the spirits to leave.
- 1:47:55You need to close all the portals that the evil spirits
- 1:47:58are using to enter your own. You need to anoint all the
- 1:48:01windows and doors with oil. Father God, I come to you in
- 1:48:07Jesus name, putting on your full armor so that I can take my
- 1:48:13stand against the devil schemes. For our struggle is not against
- 1:48:19flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities,
- 1:48:24against the powers of darkness in this world, and against the
- 1:48:28spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
- 1:48:33I put on the full armor of God, so that in this day of evil I
- 1:48:38may stand my ground, standing firm with the belt of truth
- 1:48:42buckled around my waist, with the breastplate of righteousness
- 1:48:46in place, and with my feet fitted with the readiness that
- 1:48:51comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, I take
- 1:48:56up the shield of faith with which I can extinguish all the
- 1:49:00flaming arrows of the evil one, take the helmet of salvation and
- 1:49:05the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, and pray in
- 1:49:10the spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and
- 1:49:14bequests. God, I ask you to give me the
- 1:49:19gift of discerning of spirits so that I may remove all the evil
- 1:49:23spirits from my home. The only spirit that can live
- 1:49:28here are the ones who are still in the land of the living and
- 1:49:32bow to the name of Jesus. I ask that Your Holy Spirit
- 1:49:36dwell here with me and my family and that You will lead and guide
- 1:49:41us through this process today. Please send angelic assistance
- 1:49:46to help with the removal of all of these evil spirits.
- 1:49:50Send the angels to war on my behalf and handle any demonic
- 1:49:54powers that we cannot handle. Start opening all the windows
- 1:49:58and doors in your home, or at least one in each room.
- 1:50:03I command every evil spirit to leave this home now in the name
- 1:50:08of Jesus. You cannot stay here.
- 1:50:12You have no part in me. I renounce you and any other
- 1:50:17spirits that come with you. If the Holy Spirit specifically
- 1:50:21impresses upon you a particular spirit or spirits, make sure to
- 1:50:26command them to leave by name. Example, spirit of infirmity,
- 1:50:30addiction, sexual immorality, poverty, suicide, anything that
- 1:50:36comes to mind. Call it by name and tell it to
- 1:50:40leave in the name of Jesus. Now you go room by room with the
- 1:50:45anointing oil, all the doors and windows at the top or corner
- 1:50:50with the sign of the cross over each door and window.
- 1:50:54You say this. I close this door or window in
- 1:50:58the spirit realm to any evil spirit.
- 1:51:01No longer shall you use this as an access point to gain entrance
- 1:51:05into this home. Only angels assigned by the
- 1:51:08Commander of Heaven's armies are allowed to enter this home.
- 1:51:12I mark the sign of the cross as a reminder to you that this
- 1:51:17house is covered under the blood of Jesus and you shall Passover
- 1:51:22it and never enter into this house again.
- 1:51:26In Jesus name. Go through your entire house and
- 1:51:29do this for everyone to endure. If you come across items as
- 1:51:34you're going through the house that give you a feeling that a
- 1:51:36spirit may be attached to it, you need to remove it from your
- 1:51:40home. Just as you have doors in the
- 1:51:42natural, there are doorways that spirits can use to go in and out
- 1:51:46of your house. This could be mirrors.
- 1:51:50So you need to take oil, put it on your index finger and make
- 1:51:53the cross at the top of the mirror or in a corner of the
- 1:51:57mirror and say if this is a doorway in the spirit realm that
- 1:52:02evil spirits are using to enter this house, I close it in the
- 1:52:07name of Jesus. You can no longer use this as a
- 1:52:10doorway. This is a mirror, an inanimate
- 1:52:14object that will never be used as a spiritual portal again.
- 1:52:20I command it to be closed in Jesus name.
- 1:52:24That's it. Once you've gone through all the
- 1:52:27rooms in your home, those spirits will be gone and you can
- 1:52:30start closing the windows and doors in your house.
- 1:52:34This is quite the process, but you will feel so much peace in
- 1:52:39your home after you do this and you should no longer have any
- 1:52:43spirits in your home. These are just some examples of
- 1:52:47prayers that you can use and pass on to your friends and
- 1:52:50fellow brothers and sisters. If you require more prayers, I
- 1:52:54highly encourage you to seek out Derek Prince's books,
- 1:52:59missionariesofprayer.org, Dan Duvall's books, and feel free to
- 1:53:05visit the Telegram channel link in the description.
- 1:53:09I could keep reading prayers, but this video has given you a
- 1:53:12fantastic starting point. Thank you for taking the time to
- 1:53:16listen and I pray this has helped you bring yourself closer
- 1:53:19to God in your prayer life. God bless you and your family in
- 1:53:25these very difficult times ahead.
- 1:53:34Ah, one more thing. I'll leave you with one last
- 1:53:39prayer. And I do suggest you
- 1:53:41participate. This is Derek Prince's
- 1:53:45deliverance prayer. Perform it multiple times and it
- 1:53:51will be in the library as well. God bless.
- 1:53:58All right, now I'm going to ask you to say this prayer.
- 1:54:04Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that you are the Son of God and
- 1:54:13the only way to God, that you died on the cross for my sins
- 1:54:22and rose again from the dead. I now confess to you any sins of
- 1:54:30which you have made me conscious, all sins committed by
- 1:54:38my ancestors. Now just take a little while and
- 1:54:44be as thorough as you can. Confess anything specific that
- 1:54:47the Holy Spirit brings to your mind quietly.
- 1:54:50You don't have to tell anybody else.
- 1:54:57All right, now we're going on. The next thing is repentance.
- 1:55:01Lord, I repent of all sins I have ever committed.
- 1:55:09I hate them and I turn from them.
- 1:55:15I turn to you, Lord Jesus, for mercy and forgiveness.
- 1:55:24If I have been involved with the account, I repent and I renounce
- 1:55:32it and I sever myself from it through the blood of Jesus.
- 1:55:41If I have occult objects in my possession, I commit myself to
- 1:55:48get rid of them. Now the next one is forgiving
- 1:55:54other people. Lord, I forgive any person who
- 1:55:58has ever harmed me or wronged me.
- 1:56:05I forgive them just as I want you to forgive me.
- 1:56:11Now take a little while and name the persons that you need to
- 1:56:15forgive. And the name that's hardest is
- 1:56:20the one you most need to say. All right, we're going on.
- 1:56:30Lord, to the best of my ability, I've met your conditions and I
- 1:56:39now claim your promise. Whoever shall call on the name
- 1:56:45of the Lord shall be delivered. I'm calling on you now in the
- 1:56:56name of the Lord Jesus. Deliver me from all evil
- 1:57:00spirits. I hate them.
- 1:57:05They are not my friends, they are my enemies.
- 1:57:09And I command them to go for me now in the name of Jesus, now
- 1:57:16you let them go. I'll command them to go.
- 1:57:19Don't go on praying. Get rid of them now.
- 1:57:22In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, under the authority of
- 1:57:25the leadership of this conference, I come against every
- 1:57:28evil spirit that has been renounced in the name of Jesus
- 1:57:33the Commander, to come out. Release them.
- 1:57:36Go from them in the name of Jesus.
- 1:57:38Let them go, Let them go. You've been defeated by the
- 1:57:43blood of Jesus. You have been defeated by the
- 1:57:46blood of Jesus. Jesus Christ is Lord over this
- 1:57:50gathering. You have to obey the word of
- 1:57:53God. You have to obey the servants of
- 1:57:57God. We stand against you, Satan, in
- 1:58:00the name of Jesus, all your demons, you have to go in Jesus
- 1:58:07name. Now I'm going to deal with
- 1:58:15specific categories. I'm going to start with the
- 1:58:18occult, with all forms of witchcraft.
- 1:58:22If it's not come out, let it go now.
- 1:58:25Now in the name of Jesus, we come against all occult spirits,
- 1:58:29every form of witchcraft, sorcery, divination.
- 1:58:33Get out in the name of Jesus. Get out in the name of Jesus.
- 1:58:37Come out, Come out. Come out in Jesus name.
- 1:58:41You bow before the name of Jesus.
- 1:58:44Release these people. Come out.
- 1:58:46Come out in Jesus name. In the name of Jesus.
- 1:58:52That's right, that's right. You have to go.
- 1:58:56You have to go, you have to go. Jesus defeated you when he died
- 1:59:02and shed his blood and rose from the den.
- 1:59:05Satan, you are subject to us in the name of Jesus.
- 1:59:09Every spirit of witchcraft, divination, sorcery, out in the
- 1:59:14name of Jesus. Go release these people.
- 1:59:18I will in a minute. Every spirit of false religion
- 1:59:25out in the name of Jesus. You have to go.
- 1:59:29You have to go in the name of Jesus.
- 1:59:34That's right. Then rebellion.
- 1:59:38There are many of you young people here tonight who have a
- 1:59:41spirit of rebellion. Come out.
- 1:59:44Go from there in Jesus name. That's right out.
- 1:59:52Amen. Now every spirit of fear say
- 2:00:07this. God has not given me a spirit of
- 2:00:09fear. I renounce any spirit of fear,
- 2:00:18and I commanded to go. In the name of Jesus, let it go.
- 2:00:29Out. Out.
- 2:00:29In the name of Jesus. Out, out, out.
- 2:00:43That's right. Hate it.
- 2:00:45Hate it. I hate it.
- 2:00:47It's not your friend. Every spirit of grief out in the
- 2:00:54name of Jesus. Every spirit of loneliness,
- 2:01:03depression, rejection, come out. Every spirit of suicide come
- 2:01:14out. Now then, I want you to say, I
- 2:01:28shall not die, but live and declare the works of the Lord.
- 2:01:32Are you there? I shall not die, but live and
- 2:01:37declare the works of the Lord. Now every spirit of death, come
- 2:01:41out, go from these people. Release them in the name of
- 2:01:45Jesus. Release them in the name of
- 2:01:47Jesus. Release them every spirit of
- 2:01:50death, Amen. Come out, come out, come out in
- 2:01:54Jesus name, in Jesus name, destruction, self destruction,
- 2:02:02out in the name of Jesus. Jesus, that's right, I'm out.
- 2:02:08You shall not destroy the people of God.
- 2:02:10They're God's property. You release them and go from
- 2:02:14them. All right?
- 2:02:29Now we're going to deal with resentment and all the ones that
- 2:02:31go with that. Every spirit of resentment come
- 2:02:36out. Every spirit of resentment in
- 2:02:40the name of Jesus, release these people, go from them in Jesus
- 2:02:46name. Unforgiveness, anger, hatred,
- 2:02:53violence, and murder come out in the name of Jesus, the spirit of
- 2:02:59murder. Bow before the name of Jesus and
- 2:03:01come out. Go from them in the name of
- 2:03:05Jesus. Out, out, out.
- 2:03:09Some of you need to say several times to yourself, I shall not
- 2:03:12die, but live and declare the works of the Lord.
- 2:03:14Say it for yourself. Be determined now, if there are
- 2:03:20any women here that have deliberately procured an
- 2:03:23abortion to be delivered, you have to confess it as murder,
- 2:03:29and you'll be delivered from the spirit of murder and of death if
- 2:03:34you'll just confess it to God. You don't have to confess it to
- 2:03:37us. You can be delivered now.
- 2:03:43Lord, we come against the spirits of murder that have
- 2:03:47caused women to murder their own babies in Jesus name.
- 2:03:50You get out of this place, you go from this place.
- 2:03:54We don't entertain you. We give you no room.
- 2:03:58We offer you no mercy. You have to go, go, go in Jesus
- 2:04:04name. Now we're going to deal with the
- 2:04:17negative emotions. Disappointment.
- 2:04:22You any spirit of disappointment here we break your whole over
- 2:04:28the people of God in Jesus name. Loneliness, misery, depression,
- 2:04:38self destruction out especially depression.
- 2:04:43Come out. Depression, loose them in the
- 2:04:46name of Jesus. Loose them in the name of Jesus.
- 2:04:50There's many spirits of depression here tonight.
- 2:04:52Out you go in Jesus name. You release the people of God.
- 2:05:02All right, we're going to deal with the ones that affect the
- 2:05:04mind. Lord, we come against those
- 2:05:08spirits that torment the mind. Unbelief, doubt, compromise,
- 2:05:15forgetfulness, confusion, torment, and insanity.
- 2:05:21Insanity. You come out, out, out.
- 2:05:27Amen. In the name of Jesus.
- 2:05:30In the name of Jesus, I'm going to come against insanity again.
- 2:05:43That's right. Every spirit of insanity, you
- 2:05:45come out Now. God has shown me there's a witch
- 2:05:57here tonight. I'm not going to point you out,
- 2:06:00but this is your last opportunity.
- 2:06:02If you don't renounce your trade as a witch tonight, you'll
- 2:06:06perish forever in hell. Out.
- 2:06:09In the name of Jesus, Out. Out, out, out in the name of
- 2:06:16Jesus. Amen.
- 2:06:26Amen. All right, we're going to deal
- 2:06:31with the tongue. Every lying spirit come out, not
- 2:06:40only the ones that make you tell lies, but the ones that lie to
- 2:06:43you, tell you God doesn't love you, you can't be healed,
- 2:06:47there's no hope for you. There's a lying spirit.
- 2:06:51Renounce them in the name of Jesus.
- 2:06:57Every spirit that counteth its sickness and tells healed people
- 2:07:01that they're still sick, you leave them in the name of Jesus.
- 2:07:05You'd release them, go from them in Jesus name, every spirit of
- 2:07:16cursing and blasphemy out in the name of Jesus and every church
- 2:07:27going spirit of gossip and criticism.
- 2:07:29Come out, humble yourself and the knowledge you're a gossip,
- 2:07:35you're a tale bearer. God hates tale bearing.
- 2:07:40There's no place for you in heaven unless you renounce it
- 2:07:43and get delivered from it. God hates those who sow discord
- 2:07:49between brethren. You need to repent.
- 2:07:57You're very religious, but you're also very wicked.
- 2:08:12All right, We come to the area that no one ever talks about
- 2:08:16sex. All.
- 2:08:28Right we're we're going on with our program Amen, Amen.
- 2:08:32And first of all, we're going to start with masturbation.
- 2:08:35Every spirit of masturbation in the name of Jesus you go from
- 2:08:40these people. Release them, release their
- 2:08:43fingers, release their hands, release their sexual organs.
- 2:08:47In the name of Jesus. Out, out.
- 2:08:50Don't be proud. Don't be proud.
- 2:08:54If it's in your fingers, shake it out, Let it go.
- 2:08:57That's right. In the name of Jesus.
- 2:09:01In the name of Jesus. You've got to hate it.
- 2:09:04It's not your friend, it's your enemy.
- 2:09:08That's right. Get it out.
- 2:09:09Let it go. In the name of Jesus.
- 2:09:11Through the blood of Jesus, be determined.
- 2:09:14Be absolutely determined. You are not going to tolerate it
- 2:09:18any longer. It has no place in you.
- 2:09:22Your body has been redeemed by the blood of Jesus.
- 2:09:28And then we come to the other sins, fornication, adultery, out
- 2:09:34the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus.
- 2:09:38There's no place in heaven for fornicators and adulterers.
- 2:09:43Every spirit of homosexuality, Yes.
- 2:09:47How? In the name of Jesus.
- 2:09:50Out in the name of Jesus. You go, you go, you go.
- 2:09:58Amen. Amen.
- 2:10:05Every spirit of pornography. Now, there are several here
- 2:10:08tonight who are bound and enslaved by pornography.
- 2:10:13Renounce it. Let it go from you.
- 2:10:16What you do in secret, God sees. There are no secrets with God.
- 2:10:22Some of you are churchgoers, but you're pornography viewers out.
- 2:10:28Renounce it. Renounce it in the name of
- 2:10:32Jesus. Amen.
- 2:10:39What about taking a few moments to thank God for what he's done?
- 2:10:45Thank you, Lord, thank you. For.
- 2:10:53Victory. Thank you for victory.
- 2:10:57Thank you for the victory. Thank you for the victory.
