- 0:01As human beings, we are in a murder of dynamic power.
- 0:06We want action, and the powers of the body, the Life Energy,
- 0:11and the mind are prized. When they can accomplish visible
- 0:14results. We have Proverbs such as might
- 0:19makes right, which makes it seem like strength and action is the
- 0:23most positive attribute. We carry this Viewpoint into
- 0:27everyday interactions. If we feel challenged, we tend
- 0:32to respond with an aggressive active response.
- 0:36The Old Testament of the Bible sets forth, the idea of an eye
- 0:40for an eye, as a way to respond to actions of others.
- 0:45In the modern world, we take a front at some action of others
- 0:50whether an insult or a driving action with an immediate come
- 0:54back. We demonstrate our national
- 0:57strength through parades of armies and weapons of
- 1:00Destruction, the blare of trumpets, the beating of drums,
- 1:04We take this kind of aggressive stance as an indicator of
- 1:08strength, those who do not act. This way, our be rated as weak
- 1:13and looked upon as failures. There is however, another kind
- 1:20of strength, a foundational strength, a strength that is
- 1:24quiet, solid and secure within itself, which needs not show off
- 1:31or demonstrate its prowess through the beating of of a
- 1:34drum. This is a power of Peace, not
- 1:39simply the - peace. We Define as the absence of
- 1:43conflict but a positive peace, which is a palpable Force within
- 1:49oneself and surrounding one which provide the individual a
- 1:53solid basis. So that the pressures and
- 1:56attacks do not affect one's point.
- 2:00This is not a matter of suppression of reaction, which
- 2:03still implies the inner reaction occurs.
- 2:06But a true deep and immovable power of peace that does not
- 2:12trouble over the attacks at all but moves forward secure in its
- 2:17own truth and its own Direction. There are legends of rishi's who
- 2:23maintained ashrams. We're in wild beasts would tame

- 2:30ordinarily. Pray, Many individuals have
- 2:34experienced a deep sense of peace and calm when they visit
- 2:37various locations and they report that this piece permeates
- 2:43and remains active within them. When they go outside, at least
- 2:47for some period of time during which they simply are not
- 2:51responsive to provocation, 's, The mother writes quote.
- 2:58Well, there is a static power, how to explain it to you, look,
- 3:03there's the same difference between static power and dynamic
- 3:07power as between a game of defense and a game of attack,
- 3:11you understand? It's the same thing.
- 3:14Static power is something which can withstand everything.
- 3:18Nothing can act upon it. Nothing can touch it.
- 3:22Nothing can shake it. It is in Mobile, but it is
- 3:26Invincible. Dynamic power of something in
- 3:29action, which at times goes forth and May at times receive
- 3:33blows. That is to say if you want your
- 3:36Dynamic power, to be always Victorious.
- 3:39It must be supported by a considerable static power.
- 3:44Unshakable base. I know what you want to say that
- 3:49a human being becomes aware of power.
- 3:51Only when it is dynamic, a human being doesn't consider it a
- 3:55power except when it acts, if it doesn't act, he does not even
- 3:59notice it. He does not realize the
- 4:02tremendous Force, which is behind this in action at times,
- 4:08even frequently of force more for biddable than the power,
- 4:12which Acts But you may try it out in yourself, you will see,
- 4:18it is much more difficult to remain.
- 4:20Calm, immobile. Unshakable before something very
- 4:24unpleasant, whether it be words or acts leveled against you
- 4:29infinitely, more difficult than to answer with the same
- 4:32violence. Suppose someone insults you if
- 4:37in the face of these insults you can remain immobile.
- 4:41Not only outwardly. I mean, integrally without being
- 4:45shaken or touched in any direction.
- 4:48You are there like a force against which one can do nothing
- 4:52and you do not reply, you do not make a gesture.
- 4:56You do not say a word, all the insults thrown at you.
- 5:00Leave you absolutely untouched within and without You can keep
- 5:06your heart beats. Absolutely quiet.
- 5:09You can keep the thoughts in your head quite a mobile and
- 5:12column without there, being in the least Disturbed.
- 5:15That is, your head does not answer immediately by similar
- 5:19vibrations and your nerves. Don't feel clenched with the
- 5:23need to return a few blows to relieve themselves.
- 5:27If you can do like that, you have a static power and it is
- 5:32infinitely more powerful than if you had that kind of force which
- 5:36makes you answer insult by insole blow-by-blow, and
