- 0:53Ale Figueroa: And, uh, that's a really good way to share about this, uh, family constellation.
- 0:59Ale Figueroa: Journey,
- 1:01Tracy Cartwright: which means like a
- 1:02Ale Figueroa: life philosophy.
- 1:04Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 1:04Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 1:05Tracy Cartwright: Well, that's my journey, that's my intention.
- 1:07Tracy Cartwright: And to make it accessible for everyone so that it's understandable.
- 1:13Tracy Cartwright: So coming from all sorts of different angles and everyone's gonna share something slightly different and it's gonna land for someone.

- 1:31Ale Figueroa: Well, Kiara, everyone, my name is Sierra Alejandro Fierro.
- 1:35Ale Figueroa: I originally born in Argentina, but I live in new for the last, uh, 10 years.
- 1:41Ale Figueroa: 10 and a half years now, and I. Start my journey, my family constellation journey like 11 years ago in Argentina.
- 1:52Ale Figueroa: And then I came to New Zealand and I start to find like a kind of family constellation here.
- 2:01Ale Figueroa: Family and yeah.
- 2:04Ale Figueroa: And well, I start to do, yes, I, 11 years ago, um, becoming a facilitator also like.
- 2:12Ale Figueroa: I dunno.
- 2:12Ale Figueroa: Two, uh, no, three years ago, um, yeah, I was practicing and doing family constellations on them.
- 2:21Ale Figueroa: Beautiful.
- 2:21Ale Figueroa: And in my full time, uh, I work in government and I am also a yoga teacher, so I teach yoga twice per week.
- 2:31Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 2:31Ale Figueroa: In, well, I am based in Wallington.
- 2:34Tracy Cartwright: Beautiful.
- 2:35Tracy Cartwright: I didn't know that you worked in the government.
- 2:37Tracy Cartwright: What do you do for the government?
- 2:39Ale Figueroa: Well, um, I'm in the process,
- 2:41Tracy Cartwright: process to change.
- 2:43Ale Figueroa: I'm in the process to change jobs.
- 2:45Ale Figueroa: Um, I am working now in NCTA, but New Zealand Transport Agency in the digital space.
- 2:55Ale Figueroa: But I am going to move next week to the Crown Response Office, um, in a senior administrator role.
- 3:06Ale Figueroa: So that's, um.
- 3:08Ale Figueroa: That's very a privilege for me being part of the, the Crown, which is a new office was created last year.
- 3:18Ale Figueroa: They used to work along with Oranga Tamari.
- 3:21Ale Figueroa: Um, they are responding about the child abuse case that happened in New Zealand between 51, 90, 50 and 2000.
- 3:35Ale Figueroa: So I will be.
- 3:38Ale Figueroa: They are from next Monday.
- 3:41Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 3:41Tracy Cartwright: Wow.
- 3:42Ale Figueroa: Start.
- 3:43Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 3:43Tracy Cartwright: Wow.
- 3:44Tracy Cartwright: That's, that's a, a huge shift in position.
- 3:48Tracy Cartwright: Yes.
- 3:49Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 3:49Tracy Cartwright: And then your yoga teacher and a family constellation facilitator.
- 3:54Ale Figueroa: Yes.
- 3:55Ale Figueroa: Um, well, my background is, uh, in reality is legal.
- 3:58Ale Figueroa: I used to work as lawyer in Argentina as well.
- 4:02Ale Figueroa: Um, yeah, I work for, in a law firm for five years doing a little bit of everything in the fields of the law, like criminal tax, commercial, family, um, well, a mix of everything.
- 4:21Ale Figueroa: And then.
- 4:23Ale Figueroa: I decide to, to move to New Zealand because I was looking for a change in my life.
- 4:28Ale Figueroa: I have one of my best friends, uh, from the school living here.
- 4:32Ale Figueroa: Um, I used to follow her photos in Facebook.
- 4:36Ale Figueroa: I say, oh my God, it's just an amazing place.
- 4:39Ale Figueroa: I want to be there.
- 4:42Ale Figueroa: So I decide to take a step out of my comfort zone.
- 4:48Ale Figueroa: Um, being brave and I, I did on my own.
- 4:53Ale Figueroa: Um, I was having like the comfy life in Argentina.
- 4:59Ale Figueroa: Um, while working as a lawyer while I used to be in a relationship.
- 5:05Ale Figueroa: Um, suddenly like things change and definitely family Constellation was part of this journey for me.
- 5:13Ale Figueroa: I discovered family constellations.
- 5:16Ale Figueroa: Um.
- 5:17Ale Figueroa: The year before I came to New Zealand and I was struggling in my life, um, just broken up with my ex-partner and then I wasn't really sure about my career.
- 5:34Ale Figueroa: On my life, um, my best friend, um, went to Argentina to get married the same year.
- 5:44Ale Figueroa: So I think it was everything like start to be aligned in some point.
- 5:50Ale Figueroa: And I tried to apply for the work in holiday Visa and I didn't get it.
- 5:57Ale Figueroa: And then my mom came to me to talk me about family constellations.
- 6:03Ale Figueroa: Um, it was September, 2014 and when she came to share about experience, um.
- 6:15Ale Figueroa: She tried to explain me about how, how does it work?
- 6:19Ale Figueroa: Um, what was the experience and how did she feel?
- 6:25Ale Figueroa: And when she tried to explain me, I say, mom, you must be crazy.
- 6:32Ale Figueroa: This doesn't make sense.
- 6:34Ale Figueroa: It doesn't make sense that you will be in a room with a. Group of people, um, the work was leading by a facilitator and the people came with a speci, the person came with a specific issue.
- 6:55Ale Figueroa: Um, then you choose representatives to, to this issue, to, to explore this issue.
- 7:04Ale Figueroa: And then these people start to.
- 7:09Ale Figueroa: To develop this kind of behavior or gestures or
- 7:16Tracy Cartwright: things
- 7:16Ale Figueroa: like your family members.
- 7:18Ale Figueroa: So I was very, very struggling to, to believe that.
- 7:25Ale Figueroa: And I think it's, well, it's, it's quite hard.
- 7:29Ale Figueroa: I still find quite hard to explain about what, what does it mean?
- 7:32Ale Figueroa: Family constellation.
- 7:33Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 7:34Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 7:35Tracy Cartwright: Is it quite big in It is quite big in Argentina, isn't it?
- 7:38Tracy Cartwright: Throughout South
- 7:39Ale Figueroa: America?
- 7:39Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 7:39Ale Figueroa: Yeah, it's very popular.
- 7:41Ale Figueroa: Um, I knew that Bert Hellinger went many, many times to Argentina.
- 7:45Ale Figueroa: Unfortunately, I, I, I wouldn't, I, I couldn't be there because I was too young.
- 7:51Ale Figueroa: I, I couldn't.
- 7:53Ale Figueroa: I couldn't, uh, discover this pathway before, you know, where things happen for a reason.
- 8:01Ale Figueroa: Um, I think just in the right time or the right moment.
- 8:05Ale Figueroa: But yeah, I, when she came to explain me, um, I was pretty devastated about my life and quite lost.
- 8:16Ale Figueroa: Um, I decide to, to give a try anyway, and I went for a session.
- 8:22Ale Figueroa: In Argentina.
- 8:24Ale Figueroa: Um, and that's where really, uh, feel the big shift on my life.
- 8:31Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 8:32Ale Figueroa: I had, first, I had a one-on-one session.
- 8:36Ale Figueroa: Because I felt like it was very shy.
- 8:39Ale Figueroa: I couldn't, I couldn't share, um, with them.
- 8:43Ale Figueroa: I mean with them that's a matter of time because we, after that we discovered this, that maybe our ego that fight us to this with this kind of feel like we felt really special.
- 8:56Ale Figueroa: Um, you don't want to share, but at the same time.
- 9:00Ale Figueroa: That's the beauty of the service.
- 9:03Ale Figueroa: Um, to be in service for you and your family system and others, people, family system.
- 9:13Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 9:14Tracy Cartwright: When you represent,
- 9:15Ale Figueroa: yeah.
- 9:16Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 9:17Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 9:18Ale Figueroa: That's, that's amazing.
- 9:21Ale Figueroa: But yeah, it caused me a little bit what, anyway, I decide to go, I want to be able to explain about these feelings or these experience in one-on-one session because it was like a kind of also visualizations of things that I really be able to understand once I came to New Zealand and.
- 9:46Ale Figueroa: Yeah, and everything starts to flow.
- 9:50Ale Figueroa: So when I was disappointed because I couldn't get my working holiday visa, I decide to make like a Plan B, and I came with a student visa and to New Zealand.
- 10:06Ale Figueroa: Then well, I, I start to do my life and I make, I made myself realization, oh my God.
- 10:14Ale Figueroa: Just I decide to take a flight, quit my job, my life in Argentina, and then I came to New Zealand without speak English, which is really important.
- 10:28Ale Figueroa: So I was struggling for, yeah, first.
- 10:32Ale Figueroa: Er first couple of years.
- 10:35Ale Figueroa: Um, and then I got my working holiday visa and it was like everything started to keep flowing easier.
- 10:46Ale Figueroa: Mm-hmm.
- 10:46Ale Figueroa: And that's how I made the self realization also about things happen in the right time, in the right place, in the right moment.
- 10:55Tracy Cartwright: Yeah, absolutely.
- 10:57Tracy Cartwright: And I think you and I met in 2019.
- 11:02Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 11:02Ale Figueroa: 2019. Yeah, that's right.
- 11:05Tracy Cartwright: So six years ago when, um, when Liz Leslie Nips came over for the first time.
- 11:10Ale Figueroa: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 11:12Ale Figueroa: And I think it was also the first, the, the same year that I did my, I started to do my family constellation training with temperature, the ribs, um, from Spain.
- 11:27Tracy Cartwright: Mm-hmm.
- 11:28Ale Figueroa: Yeah, I, I follow the, the facilitator in Argentina just suggests me to do this training.
- 11:34Ale Figueroa: So I start to do like an online training with, she has like plenty of, um.
- 11:41Ale Figueroa: Courses and Yeah.
- 11:44Ale Figueroa: Things sharing in the website.
- 11:46Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 11:47Ale Figueroa: She developed like the Family Constellation School in Spain.
- 11:51Ale Figueroa: Yeah, and that's how I start.
- 11:53Ale Figueroa: And then, well, before I meet Maya, also another facilitator.
- 11:58Ale Figueroa: She lives in Pickton in 2017.
- 12:02Ale Figueroa: It was like two years later that I arrived to New Zealand and I still was struggling to explain about what Family Constellation was.
- 12:13Ale Figueroa: And then I start to organize like, um, small workshops, um, uh, retreats in here in Wellington.
- 12:21Ale Figueroa: So, so you were
- 12:23Tracy Cartwright: running yourself.
- 12:25Ale Figueroa: No, I help Maya to organize.
- 12:27Ale Figueroa: Um, was, uh, same workshops that we did in, in Wellington and same years later, like, I dunno, three years ago, I start to, to run small workshops here in Wellington and one-on-one sessions as well.
- 12:45Tracy Cartwright: Fantastic.
- 12:46Tracy Cartwright: Fantastic.
- 12:47Tracy Cartwright: There's so much, uh, this work is so needed out there, right?
- 12:51Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 12:51Tracy Cartwright: So very, very needed.
- 12:53Tracy Cartwright: Uh,
- 12:54Ale Figueroa: yeah.
- 12:54Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 12:55Ale Figueroa: And then I meet you.
- 12:56Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 12:56Ale Figueroa: In 2019 in the retreat with Leslie through
- 13:00Tracy Cartwright: in
- 13:01Ale Figueroa: April.
- 13:02Ale Figueroa: But it was like, it was a, yeah, actually huge retreat with lot of people.
- 13:08Ale Figueroa: It was lovely.
- 13:09Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 13:09Tracy Cartwright: It was my, it was my first event of hosting anyone and um, yeah, it was great.
- 13:15Tracy Cartwright: Leslie, Leslie Nis is a, a fantastic facilitator and, um, yeah, it just went really smoothly.
- 13:21Tracy Cartwright: We worked really well together, so.
- 13:22Tracy Cartwright: It was a great opportunity too.
- 13:25Tracy Cartwright: I learned a lot from it as well.
- 13:27Tracy Cartwright: And, uh, yeah, and, and doing so much more with all that.
- 13:30Tracy Cartwright: Now, you know, some facilitators, they like to follow certain topics, like for example, Maria works with couples and she works with addiction.
- 13:41Tracy Cartwright: Is there anything that you specifically work with or are you quite open to, do you do most things?
- 13:49Ale Figueroa: Generally I am very, very open to, to, to see everyone and discover the work of everyone because everyone is different.
- 13:58Tracy Cartwright: Mm-hmm.
- 13:59Ale Figueroa: Um, some people may choose to, you know, specialize in specific things like traumas, um, and other people specialize like, I dunno.
- 14:10Ale Figueroa: Um, system systemic constellations, which is also very used in companies.
- 14:17Ale Figueroa: Um.
- 14:18Ale Figueroa: Um, yeah.
- 14:19Ale Figueroa: Organizations and yeah.
- 14:23Ale Figueroa: Um, but I am, I am open to, to discover everyone when, when I saw I, I am also very curious, so I just mm-hmm.
- 14:33Ale Figueroa: Catch my attention.
- 14:34Ale Figueroa: Um mm-hmm.
- 14:35Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 14:36Ale Figueroa: I'm also open to share and.
- 14:39Ale Figueroa: To, to be in this, um, service of love because that's, that's the meaning for me.
- 14:44Ale Figueroa: It's about being, um, in service, um, for your family system and others family system and what's the main purpose of that.
- 14:57Ale Figueroa: And I feel like it's to keep the load flowing.
- 15:03Tracy Cartwright: Absolutely.
- 15:03Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 15:04Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 15:05Tracy Cartwright: If you think about your life when you were a lawyer, Hmm.
- 15:10Tracy Cartwright: Then you think about constellations.
- 15:12Tracy Cartwright: 'cause I know in Brazil they use, um, family constellations in some courts and some judges use it for a divorce or uh hmm.
- 15:24Tracy Cartwright: Other things or something else that they use it mostly for is how would you, could you see that the benefit.
- 15:33Ale Figueroa: Yeah, I knew there is, um, one lawyer in Argentina.
- 15:38Ale Figueroa: Uh, she lives in Cordova and she's very, very close to Champ Ribs in Spain, and she's a lawyer and she's a family Constellation facilitator, and she's, I know she's using, um, family constellation in.
- 15:56Ale Figueroa: During, I dunno, like mediations or this kind of things.
- 16:01Ale Figueroa: She, she's a family's lawyer specializing in family.
- 16:05Ale Figueroa: I think, I am not really, really aware about how will be, but I will be very, very open to try because I feel like that's the, the key of this work, like just being open and let's, let's see.
- 16:24Ale Figueroa: Things happening and flowing.
- 16:27Ale Figueroa: I imagine that can be very, very helpful because I think that our, where we came from the, we belong to a family system.
- 16:37Ale Figueroa: Everyone belongs to a family system and all the information is coming through our DNA, and that's how we tend to repeat behaviors or patterns.
- 16:50Ale Figueroa: When we have the opportunity just to acknowledge sometimes it's acknowledge or just seeing things.
- 16:58Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 16:59Ale Figueroa: That's how we start to feel the shift.
- 17:02Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 17:02Tracy Cartwright: It's when I went to watch the movie, the Four Love Letters, have you heard of that one?
- 17:09Tracy Cartwright: And they used Constellations, so the producer of them, um, the movie used Constellations in the process of creating the film.
- 17:20Tracy Cartwright: Over a number of years.
- 17:21Tracy Cartwright: It wasn't just a, and the actors used it as well, um, for actually not a hundred percent sure what they, how or what, but it was a fascinating film and it made you think about the layers.
- 17:34Tracy Cartwright: And that's why I think about with, with the court systems as well, you know, like that, being able to see what is behind someone or see the.
- 17:47Tracy Cartwright: You know, like for couples when they are separating and stuff like that, being able to see the partner and what's behind them.
- 17:53Tracy Cartwright: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:54Tracy Cartwright: It would be fascinating, wouldn't it, to put that into perspective with and, uh, as a lawyer in the situation as well.
- 18:01Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 18:03Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 18:03Ale Figueroa: I feel like I can be very, very helpful because it's also important that, that see some, the staff or the work.
- 18:14Ale Figueroa: It's coming before us and sometimes it's like generations through generations.
- 18:21Ale Figueroa: And as long as we make the acknowledge about that is like we can yeah.
- 18:27Ale Figueroa: Feel and see the shift.
- 18:30Ale Figueroa: And that's how I feel like the soul movement start to, to work and, and move in a slow direction because I feel like the movements are slow.
- 18:44Ale Figueroa: And as much as it's slower, it can be healed.
- 18:50Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 18:50Ale Figueroa: I wasn't aware about the movie, but I watched the Another Self, the series,
- 18:57Tracy Cartwright: so yeah, apparently there's another one of that coming out.
- 18:58Tracy Cartwright: But yeah, that, um, the Four Lovely Letters has just been out at the movie theater, so, and you can, you can see not having, knowing.
- 19:11Tracy Cartwright: That they use systemic work, systemic, um, questionings and the, and the creation of it.
- 19:17Tracy Cartwright: And you can see the layers of that throughout the, I think you've gotta see the movie to understand that part of it, but
- 19:25Ale Figueroa: yeah.
- 19:25Tracy Cartwright: No,
- 19:26Ale Figueroa: but yeah, that's, that's fascinated.
- 19:27Ale Figueroa: I feel like that's wonderful.
- 19:30Ale Figueroa: This.
- 19:32Ale Figueroa: Journey.
- 19:33Ale Figueroa: As I say, it's a life philosophy because it's, as long as you discover you want to be, uh, yeah, you want to be in the journey.
- 19:43Ale Figueroa: Well, not everyone, but some people feel like, yeah, it can be like your life's journey living through, I think acceptances.
- 19:57Ale Figueroa: One of the biggest keys as well.
- 19:59Ale Figueroa: Acceptance about life and things as they are.
- 20:05Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 20:06Tracy Cartwright: And that's not always easy for people, is it?
- 20:08Tracy Cartwright: Mm.
- 20:11Ale Figueroa: That's the challenge because sometimes it, it's easy to accept things that we, we love, but we like it.
- 20:18Ale Figueroa: Uh, but I think it's, it's very difficult to, to, to accept things that we don't like It.
- 20:26Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 20:26Ale Figueroa: Or, or we don't, I mean there are like things that sounds like crazy.
- 20:33Ale Figueroa: I remember in another self, in the Syria, one of them, I don't want to talk too much because some people cannot see that, but it was like a big, one of the clients came with a cancer, a terminal cancer, and the facilitator say.
- 20:54Ale Figueroa: Can you say thank you to the cancer?
- 20:57Ale Figueroa: Of course not, because it's, it's very hard, but it's not about us.
- 21:06Ale Figueroa: I feel like, yeah, it came before, before, before someone, someone else got cancer, someone else got an addiction, someone else got, um, an imbalanced relationship and that's.
- 21:22Ale Figueroa: How the, the shift on the, the change start.
- 21:26Tracy Cartwright: Mm-hmm.
- 21:27Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 21:28Tracy Cartwright: Would there be any examples that you, of the work that you feel that you could share for the listeners and the viewers without, um, crossing any confidentiality or anything like that or something that you've witnessed or read?
- 21:43Tracy Cartwright: Yeah,
- 21:44Ale Figueroa: I remember, like, I did like two, two sessions.
- 21:48Ale Figueroa: Um, it was last year ago, two sessions with two different womens that they, they want to be mom and they couldn't, they couldn't be pregnant.
- 22:05Tracy Cartwright: Mm-hmm.
- 22:05Ale Figueroa: So I have to go with different opportunities through the.
- 22:12Ale Figueroa: Feminine, um, size from the mom because they are, were like abortions.
- 22:21Ale Figueroa: Um, so much suffering involved in all these maternity process.
- 22:29Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 22:30Ale Figueroa: Um, as long as they had the acknowledge to discover and just seeing the things.
- 22:39Ale Figueroa: I think four months later, three months later, they were pregnant.
- 22:44Ale Figueroa: Oh my God.
- 22:45Ale Figueroa: That's, that's, that's how it works.
- 22:48Ale Figueroa: And sometimes things can change like in a click, and sometimes things can change in some months.
- 22:57Ale Figueroa: Another interesting thing that can happen is like, people came with a specific.
- 23:02Ale Figueroa: Issue of things.
- 23:04Ale Figueroa: I know what I want to constellate.
- 23:06Ale Figueroa: I know, so I am going to sit in the hot chair and I want to see this issue.
- 23:14Ale Figueroa: And then just the person came and sit in the hot chair and say, oh, but it wasn't at all that I want to say.
- 23:25Ale Figueroa: That's, that's not I wants to mean.
- 23:28Tracy Cartwright: Mm.
- 23:29Ale Figueroa: And it's because also the, the feel.
- 23:32Ale Figueroa: It's going to show us the things that we need to see in the right time at the same moment.
- 23:38Ale Figueroa: And it's about, again, that's an ego fight because it's not about that we want, it's about that we are ready to see according to our life, according with the soul movement.
- 23:50Tracy Cartwright: Mm-hmm.
- 23:51Tracy Cartwright: Yes.
- 23:52Tracy Cartwright: The ego fight.
- 23:54Tracy Cartwright: I remember seeing, um, seeing a gentleman, a much older gentleman, and he sat in the hot seat and he says.
- 24:02Tracy Cartwright: He wanted to look at his relationship and, and he, I know what's wrong.
- 24:08Tracy Cartwright: I know where the ans I know what's wrong.
- 24:11Tracy Cartwright: I know where it all starts, and da da da.
- 24:13Tracy Cartwright: And the facilitator very kindly said, there's no need for you to sit in the hot chair in the hot seat if you already know the answer.
- 24:22Tracy Cartwright: And like, oh, oh, oh, oh no.
- 24:24Tracy Cartwright: Uh, no, no.
- 24:26Tracy Cartwright: I don't really know where it is.
- 24:29Tracy Cartwright: So he had his, he had his mindset on, uh, on it being his all, all laying the blame on his partner.
- 24:37Tracy Cartwright: Whereas Constellations isn't about blame, right?
- 24:39Tracy Cartwright: It's about seeing what's what's and acknowledging what's there.
- 24:43Tracy Cartwright: So, yeah, so he got a very different experience to what he thought he was gonna have.
- 24:48Tracy Cartwright: 'cause sometimes people come to the constellations thinking it's talk therapy, thinking they're going to get to sit and just talk and talk and, um.
- 24:57Tracy Cartwright: But it's really an experience, isn't it?
- 25:00Ale Figueroa: Yeah, definitely.
- 25:01Ale Figueroa: It's an experience just to live.
- 25:03Ale Figueroa: It's very hard to explain how does it work, because also every experience must be different.
- 25:10Ale Figueroa: Every person is different, every family system is different.
- 25:14Ale Figueroa: So yeah, that's always, always something change.
- 25:20Ale Figueroa: Um, that's another thing.
- 25:22Ale Figueroa: I mean, as a facilitator, you cannot guarantee results.
- 25:27Ale Figueroa: Because you can't, but you will see a shift in some point.
- 25:32Ale Figueroa: And sometimes, as I say, it can be quicker, sometimes can be slower.
- 25:36Ale Figueroa: Um, but that's the main key, just came with a heart open to let things happen.
- 25:47Ale Figueroa: And that's, that's the beauty
- 25:50Tracy Cartwright: And gala.
- 25:50Tracy Cartwright: Bel did a constellation with me probably about six or seven years ago, maybe even more.
- 25:55Tracy Cartwright: And, and it got to a point and, and there was a, it was like a, there was no, there was insight.
- 26:03Tracy Cartwright: There was no resolution.
- 26:05Tracy Cartwright: Um, but it felt like, you know, when a pimple is just ready to burst and there's all this pressure, and she oh, and she says, right, or Leave it there and uh, you can go, you've got homework to do.
- 26:17Tracy Cartwright: And I was like, lift my mouth open.
- 26:23Tracy Cartwright: Feeling like what?
- 26:26Tracy Cartwright: But it was the best thing for me at that time.
- 26:28Tracy Cartwright: I've had other constellations where there's been a beautiful resolution and I've felt amazing shifts as well.
- 26:34Tracy Cartwright: So I don't think one is better than the other.
- 26:37Tracy Cartwright: I think they've both had their place and, and yeah.
- 26:41Tracy Cartwright: We never know as we start a constellation where it's gonna end or or what it's gonna show up.
- 26:46Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 26:47Tracy Cartwright: Yeah,
- 26:48Ale Figueroa: that's, that's really true.
- 26:49Ale Figueroa: You are totally.
- 26:51Ale Figueroa: Yeah, you are totally right.
- 26:53Ale Figueroa: Uh, Tracy, because that's a, as a, I think it's a main point as well.
- 26:57Ale Figueroa: No, as a facilitator also to know when the constellation has to stop because it's not about having like a happy, um, and then, um, like everyone is going to be happy and, you know, like party.
- 27:18Ale Figueroa: Sometimes it's like a small or a slow soul movement that has to be seen or acknowledged, and that's how the work starts.
- 27:30Ale Figueroa: And sometimes you don't have this kind of.
- 27:33Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 27:33Ale Figueroa: Resolution.
- 27:34Ale Figueroa: It's, that's all
- 27:36Tracy Cartwright: I say.
- 27:37Tracy Cartwright: You're not always gonna get a Disney ending 'cause because the, the energy expands and it contracts and you feel like by the, sometimes at the end of a constellation you feel like you've just watched a whole movie.
- 27:49Tracy Cartwright: And it's almost like, um, there've been times when I've felt like, you know, where they've got all the music and the sound.
- 27:57Tracy Cartwright: And everything's moving.
- 27:58Tracy Cartwright: That's the whole experience that I've had, even though there hasn't been the music and, and that like, as in a cinema, and then you get a really nice ending at it, and that feels like, uh, a beautiful, I I, I, not that I call it a Disney ending, but I say to people, you're not always gonna get that.
- 28:19Ale Figueroa: Yeah, no, that's totally, totally true.
- 28:22Tracy Cartwright: Yeah, because sometimes you feel like you've just sat in what you, when you're witnessing, it's like.
- 28:27Tracy Cartwright: You've just watched the movie, you just watched this whole thing go off in front of you, and it's like, wow.
- 28:33Tracy Cartwright: You know, when you get really engrossed and really involved in a movie.
- 28:38Ale Figueroa: Yes,
- 28:39Tracy Cartwright: yes.
- 28:39Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 28:41Tracy Cartwright: And probably not, didn't depict that very well, but, uh, yeah.
- 28:46Tracy Cartwright: Anyway, uh, let's see.
- 28:47Tracy Cartwright: What other questions have I got?
- 28:49Tracy Cartwright: Oh, who's, who would be one of your top facilitators?
- 28:52Tracy Cartwright: Or maybe you have a few.
- 28:54Tracy Cartwright: Who would be your favorite?
- 28:55Ale Figueroa: My, um, teacher from, from Spain.
- 29:00Ale Figueroa: It's, um, really, really good one.
- 29:03Ale Figueroa: I found like she develop, um, a very, very complete training that I am still actually doing because she has like three different levels and she got like plenty of, um, modules and videos about.
- 29:22Ale Figueroa: Every topic that you can work in constellations and that's, well, that's a long training.
- 29:30Ale Figueroa: That's why I say like a life philosophy.
- 29:34Ale Figueroa: I found like she is working in this also, as you mentioned, like kind of, because it's kind of a meditation movement.
- 29:43Ale Figueroa: You don't have to to talk too much.
- 29:46Ale Figueroa: That's another thing, like people came sometimes like.
- 29:50Ale Figueroa: Like, I dunno, like, oh no, I don't want to talk.
- 29:53Ale Figueroa: I don't want to, but you don't really need to talk.
- 29:57Ale Figueroa: It's just the main key is just coming with an open heart and sore hurt and to see everything that you need to see in this moment.
- 30:08Ale Figueroa: So then, um, Maya and she's based in Picton.
- 30:13Ale Figueroa: Um, that's where I start my journey here in New Zealand.
- 30:19Ale Figueroa: She start to offer the workshops and I start to help her to organize workshops.
- 30:25Ale Figueroa: And then we did a retreat, which was great.
- 30:28Ale Figueroa: And then she developed a training as well, an online training.
- 30:33Ale Figueroa: And that I take me like, yeah, a couple of years to do as well.
- 30:38Ale Figueroa: And yeah, she's also offering more trainings now.
- 30:43Ale Figueroa: Um.
- 30:44Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 30:45Ale Figueroa: And then well, I meet you.
- 30:47Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 30:47Ale Figueroa: 2019 and.
- 30:51Ale Figueroa: Um, from there, well, Joan Garriga as well.
- 30:54Ale Figueroa: I, I meet Joan Garriga in, in my city.
- 30:57Ale Figueroa: She, he's been in Kuman and it was like, uh, well these kind of things aligned that I, I managed to, to be in Argentina the same time he was there.
- 31:09Ale Figueroa: So was a beautiful experience.
- 31:11Ale Figueroa: He offer like a kind of seminar, I think it was, yeah, two or three days.
- 31:18Ale Figueroa: Beautiful with Yeah.
- 31:21Ale Figueroa: Kind of sessions, but also developing different topics.
- 31:26Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 31:26Ale Figueroa: It was very, very beautiful work with him there.
- 31:30Ale Figueroa: Stronger Riga.
- 31:32Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 31:32Ale Figueroa: I'm from there.
- 31:33Ale Figueroa: I, you know, open to, to meet everyone who is in, in this beauty work.
- 31:44Tracy Cartwright: There are so many.
- 31:46Tracy Cartwright: Because it's been around for a long time in some parts of the world.
- 31:52Tracy Cartwright: It's just quite new.
- 31:54Tracy Cartwright: It feels quite women in other parts of the world.
- 31:56Tracy Cartwright: It's been there for a long time, but I think it's really awakening the, uh, um, you know, the, the rememberings of the indigenous mindset as well.
- 32:06Tracy Cartwright: Yeah.
- 32:07Tracy Cartwright: And thats for all of us, you know, not just, um, I mean, I have a multicultural, very mixed.
- 32:15Tracy Cartwright: Background in my, within my, um, deadlines, but, and I, even with my colleagues, you know, it really does stir up the rememberings within us of our ancient waves.
- 32:30Tracy Cartwright: That's how I put it anyway, because it's, it's so different from the modern world's, uh, conceptual thinking.
- 32:39Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 32:39Ale Figueroa: No, and I am very glad to, very happy to see how, how this work keep expanding in, in good, in a good way.
- 32:48Ale Figueroa: No, in Argentina, uh, of course it is like bigger, but also it's because the population is bigger too.
- 32:57Ale Figueroa: When you are in a seminar with.
- 33:01Ale Figueroa: Bridge sheet.
- 33:02Ale Figueroa: The sheet is going to Argentina, like every year in a, um, yeah, she's visiting there, or Riga?
- 33:09Ale Figueroa: Um, they, they are both from Spain, but the seminars are between like 200, 300 people.
- 33:17Ale Figueroa: Um,
- 33:18Tracy Cartwright: yeah.
- 33:18Ale Figueroa: That's huge.
- 33:20Ale Figueroa: Um, yeah.
- 33:22Ale Figueroa: And here it's, it's great also in New Zealand, the, the movement, how, how we start to meet each other and sharing, um, um, yeah, being together.
- 33:34Ale Figueroa: Um, yeah.
- 33:35Ale Figueroa: It becomes for me like a yeah.
- 33:37Ale Figueroa: Kind of passion, uh, to, to share that.
- 33:42Ale Figueroa: And I say, oh my God.
- 33:43Ale Figueroa: How different would be the war if everyone came just.
- 33:47Ale Figueroa: One time, one constellation.
- 33:50Tracy Cartwright: Yeah, absolutely.
- 33:52Tracy Cartwright: Absolutely.
- 33:53Tracy Cartwright: I had, I had the privilege recently of working with, um, some inmates and the, the shifts for them and the things that they were able to, um, even just some of them were saying, I can breathe easier.
- 34:12Tracy Cartwright: I feel like, I feel like I'm, someone's got my back and.
- 34:16Tracy Cartwright: I haven't felt that before.
- 34:18Tracy Cartwright: You know, like it feels like someone's standing behind me and supporting me.
- 34:22Tracy Cartwright: So yeah, it was, it was incredible.
- 34:25Tracy Cartwright: And I, you're right, if everybody got to do one constellation, at least that would be massive shifts.
- 34:32Tracy Cartwright: Women in the world.
- 34:35Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 34:35Ale Figueroa: No, every and every constellation is also experience.
- 34:40Ale Figueroa: Um.
- 34:42Ale Figueroa: I can't remember, but I did like many, many constellations.
- 34:46Ale Figueroa: I mean, I went to explore different issues.
- 34:50Ale Figueroa: Um, every time it's a different experience.
- 34:54Ale Figueroa: Very, very different.
- 34:57Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 34:57Ale Figueroa: And then you start to, to feel the, the shift.
- 35:01Ale Figueroa: Um, always say like, it's the kind of the, you have the dominoes, the, the game.
- 35:09Tracy Cartwright: Domino and it's,
- 35:10Ale Figueroa: yeah.
- 35:10Ale Figueroa: And you start just to move piece by piece.
- 35:13Ale Figueroa: And that's, that's how, well I feel like every constellation is like moving one piece.
- 35:22Ale Figueroa: Um, yeah.
- 35:23Ale Figueroa: It's very, very different experience, different issues.
- 35:29Ale Figueroa: Um, yeah.
- 35:31Tracy Cartwright: Do you, this question's just popped in.
- 35:33Tracy Cartwright: So I know that you also teach yoga.
- 35:36Tracy Cartwright: Do you ever throw in any con, constellation, uh, queries or questions when someone, when they're doing yoga with you, like, breathe in, feel your parents behind you, or something like that?
- 35:50Tracy Cartwright: Have you ever done that?
- 35:51Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 35:52Ale Figueroa: Well, I mean, uh, when I, I remember when I start to teach yoga, um, yeah, I was.
- 36:00Ale Figueroa: Petrified because it's about pressure and talking and facing the, the fear to, to speak in public, and especially in my second language, which was I was very struggling.
- 36:14Ale Figueroa: Well, sometimes I am, but.
- 36:17Ale Figueroa: I, yeah, I think that's, uh, this kind of feeling that make me feel, um, so peace, um, feeling like my, my ancestors behind.
- 36:27Ale Figueroa: And even at work, uh, sometimes I felt like this fear of exposure.
- 36:34Ale Figueroa: Um, I had to do a, a speech just this week and I felt, I don't want to be nervous.
- 36:40Ale Figueroa: I don't want to ne be nervous.
- 36:42Ale Figueroa: And I start to imagine that.
- 36:44Ale Figueroa: Mm. Oh my God.
- 36:46Ale Figueroa: How, how amazing it and how, how does it, how helpful.
- 36:51Ale Figueroa: It's, um, yeah, it's, everything changed.
- 36:56Ale Figueroa: Yeah.
- 36:56Ale Figueroa: It's very, very different.
- 36:58Tracy Cartwright: Beautiful.
- 37:00Tracy Cartwright: Beautiful.
- 37:01Tracy Cartwright: If someone wanted to get a hold of you, Allie, how would they find you if they wanted to book in for a workshop or a one-on-one with you?
- 37:08Ale Figueroa: Yes.
- 37:09Ale Figueroa: Well, I am in the process to develop my website.
- 37:11Ale Figueroa: Um, just I have a Facebook page and Instagram that using for my yoga classes and sometimes I use for family constellations.
- 37:22Ale Figueroa: But yeah, I am in the process to develop shining store, which will be my
- 37:27Tracy Cartwright: shining
- 37:28Ale Figueroa: soul.
- 37:30Tracy Cartwright: Shining soul.
- 37:31Ale Figueroa: Yeah, that's right.
- 37:34Ale Figueroa: Um, yeah, that's, I mean.
- 37:36Ale Figueroa: I am just, they are teaching yoga, offering family constellations.
- 37:40Ale Figueroa: Um, well access bars, that's another modality that I am doing.
- 37:46Tracy Cartwright: Oh, great.
