- 0:38Speaker 4: I'm a doing I'm gonna go on the way you.
- 0:41Speaker 6: Made Bill Vegan.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, I listening.
- 0:47Speaker 1: To the Sports Shock Show.
- 0:48Speaker 3: I am the Sports Shock Wing Candy, Good morning to
- 0:52Speaker 3: you on this Chili Monday after football weekend, Championship weekend.
- 0:59Speaker 3: How any of you are complaining, complaining, complaining. It's like,
- 1:07Speaker 3: I think I'm gonna have to move to just watching
- 1:10Speaker 3: sports by myself. You can't really do it in a group.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Everything is a complaint. We might need to get rid
- 1:22Speaker 3: of instant replay. Maybe they shouldn't show instant replay. Maybe
- 1:27Speaker 3: they should just do it in the booth and then
- 1:31Speaker 3: go with the result. But maybe we should extract that
- 1:35Speaker 3: part of the visual because everybody thinks they're the ref.
- 1:40Speaker 3: Everybody think they're the coach, the GM, the owner, the president.
- 1:46Speaker 3: They think they're a Supreme court justice. They should get
- 1:48Speaker 3: the rule change. All you do is complain. I've never
- 1:53Speaker 3: seen what's going on. We do no cheering. We sow
- 1:57Speaker 3: biased so emotional that we.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Get line did.
- 2:01Speaker 3: You can have an argument with somebody and say, well,
- 2:05Speaker 3: Miami beat Notre Dame. Well, what does that matter? Why
- 2:12Speaker 3: is Miami in and Notre Dame isn't? Well when they
- 2:16Speaker 3: play each other, Miami beat Notre Dame. But I'm sorry,
- 2:26Speaker 3: I'm sorry. Notre Dame has a black coach. I'm sorry,
- 2:31Speaker 3: I'm sorry. I know it's early in the morning and
- 2:36Speaker 3: not suppose, but you know, since that is the reason,
- 2:41Speaker 3: because you didn't go to Notre Dame. You're not even
- 2:43Speaker 3: from the state. You don't even know what state Notre
- 2:46Speaker 3: Dame is in. Wow, when that one state. But it
- 2:55Speaker 3: has to be holding him down. It's holding him down.
- 2:59Speaker 3: But because Miami beating, and then because you feel like
- 3:06Speaker 3: Miami had an advantage and Miami got more, come on,
- 3:11Speaker 3: everybody wants to rule change right as whatever they didn't
- 3:15Speaker 3: get happens. I have never seen they sit with me
- 3:20Speaker 3: Big Kenny Comanchi, Greg Bad Producer all in the building today.
- 3:24Speaker 3: They sit in my presence and think I'm gonna go
- 3:26Speaker 3: with that wasn't a catch.
- 3:31Speaker 1: And nobody's cheating you.
- 3:32Speaker 3: You just you wanted to be a catch when it's
- 3:36Speaker 3: your team, and then you don't want to It's I
- 3:39Speaker 3: don't get what's going on in sports, but I might
- 3:42Speaker 3: have to just start doing it alone, you know, you
- 3:47Speaker 3: want the crowd is too biased. I might have to
- 3:52Speaker 3: do the Marjorie Taylor green and just step out all
- 3:55Speaker 3: by myself, you know, and get away from the party
- 3:59Speaker 3: because and thank you for that, marjorieacha other little green,
- 4:03Speaker 3: because you knew it. It's a sesspool. And in politics,
- 4:07Speaker 3: we gonna will we talked talk. We talked politics yesterday.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Why the game was on the falcons will get blown out,
- 4:14Speaker 3: so we had plenty of time to discuss. We just
- 4:17Speaker 3: got up into some other stuff politics and it had
- 4:20Speaker 3: gotten out of hand. And you know, when the game
- 4:23Speaker 3: get that way, you just start having other conversations.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Is that not? Well? I do it on the air
- 4:29Speaker 1: when I'm coloring the game.
- 4:31Speaker 3: We sit there and with six seven minutes to go,
- 4:34Speaker 3: we just go into and no need of calling the play.
- 4:38Speaker 1: That's just zero. Yeah, they've got some great how.
- 4:43Speaker 3: About that Montana State North North Dakota State game Oh yeah,
- 4:47Speaker 3: that one's on. Oh yeah, touchdown? Look like for that's
- 4:51Speaker 3: how we called it. We go on the whole another
- 4:53Speaker 3: tangent because there's no need to waste our time.
- 4:56Speaker 1: You know, his cousin is coming here in three years.
- 5:01Speaker 3: But the bad producer and his Georgia Bulldogs or the
- 5:04Speaker 3: Carolina tar Hills, I don't know.
- 5:05Speaker 1: He's all over the place.
- 5:06Speaker 3: He seems like he as I said in nineteen seventy seven,
- 5:11Speaker 3: he decided he was going to go with all the
- 5:14Speaker 3: good teams in each level, not just one true team
- 5:18Speaker 3: because most people there are like I'm a Carolina tar
- 5:21Speaker 3: Hill in everything or Georgia Bulldog in everything. He mixed
- 5:26Speaker 3: and matched. He mixed and match coast. He's a Yankee fan,
- 5:32Speaker 3: but a Laker fan. I'm from Carolina, but a cheer
- 5:37Speaker 3: for Georgia kind of guy all over the place. Come
- 5:44Speaker 3: at your Florida State. I don't know why y'all kept
- 5:49Speaker 3: the coach, Big Kenny, Southern Miss coach. He left and
- 5:53Speaker 3: he left them after year.
- 5:55Speaker 2: He one night standing, helve hit him with that rad hour,
- 6:00Speaker 2: with the one night staying with the walk of shame.
- 6:02Speaker 7: Look here, baby, I got a cab outside waiting on you.
- 6:06Speaker 7: You're gonna have to go on head on. I got
- 6:09Speaker 7: some things I got to do.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Your brother to.
- 6:13Speaker 2: He what do you mean brother like in the in
- 6:17Speaker 2: the that he is Afro America. Oh yeah he's no, no, no,
- 6:22Speaker 2: just what he's not Afro American. Well he left he
- 6:28Speaker 2: saw you all a good bag of goody I'm talking about.
- 6:31Speaker 7: He had us leave with the lights on at the club.
- 6:34Speaker 7: Come on, no, no, we gonna. I think there's something
- 6:38Speaker 7: that can work out long term between us.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Came there from Marshall State of the Year and then
- 6:43Speaker 3: went to Memphis. Look look here, and if he has
- 6:46Speaker 3: a good year Memphis, he should be at Florida State.
- 6:49Speaker 1: Baby girl next year.
- 6:50Speaker 2: This time, look seven man, we didn't want to have
- 6:54Speaker 2: the timing that like old miss had, where you know,
- 6:58Speaker 2: the coach got a coach, got to make it this
- 7:01Speaker 2: We had no.
- 7:02Speaker 1: We ran out of money. The money yeah yeah, yeah.
- 7:03Speaker 3: Because it's big and famous and excellent as Florida State is,
- 7:08Speaker 3: as they have in all sports, they've won championships and
- 7:11Speaker 3: a lot of things there, their bank book is not
- 7:16Speaker 3: as large as the fame of them. People never really
- 7:21Speaker 3: noticed that. That's why they don't and that's why I
- 7:25Speaker 3: said the nil. The state of Texas has been waiting
- 7:28Speaker 3: on y'all to make this mistake. Yeah, does anyview see
- 7:33Speaker 3: how quickly every team in Texas got better? They was
- 7:38Speaker 3: waiting on you. They've been laughing at it, all of
- 7:42Speaker 3: you for about three years. I can't believe they're the
- 7:44Speaker 3: ones who created pay to play.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Y'all.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Don't watch all the thirty for thirties. They're always a team.
- 7:53Speaker 3: All the Texas teams in trouble for paying people. Texas
- 7:57Speaker 3: A and M has been too.
- 8:00Speaker 2: Was just hitting you out, whether its past sneak because
- 8:02Speaker 2: the Texas teams had moto holes and trans.
- 8:06Speaker 1: I just heard a stat.
- 8:07Speaker 8: I just heard a stat that Texas Tech has more
- 8:10Speaker 8: money than Texas possibly.
- 8:13Speaker 1: And it's not just about money.
- 8:16Speaker 3: It's about the fandom of the fans, the alumni and
- 8:24Speaker 3: Texas alumni for their football. Yes, is more driven than
- 8:30Speaker 3: any of our other schools. And that's why Texas, Texas
- 8:34Speaker 3: Texas and M Texas SMU and they all instantly, they
- 8:42Speaker 3: all went to nine wins regardless of forget you And
- 8:47Speaker 3: in twelve month period they went right to nine wins
- 8:50Speaker 3: like they had to beat each other. Kind of mindset.
- 8:54Speaker 3: So it's just a big thing. But we got a
- 8:57Speaker 3: lot to talk about today. Monday Night football tonight, the
- 9:00Speaker 3: Eagles and the Chargers out in la I'm quite sure
- 9:04Speaker 3: the Chargers are loving that, not to be in that
- 9:06Speaker 3: cold weather up there in Philly. But that's at eight fifteen.
- 9:12Speaker 3: A lot of disappointing games yesterday, a lot of people
- 9:15Speaker 3: still trying to breathe the hope. It's funny you can
- 9:18Speaker 3: see something.
- 9:19Speaker 1: I guess.
- 9:19Speaker 3: It's kind of like literature when we were in school,
- 9:25Speaker 3: or if you were in college, or even in high school,
- 9:28Speaker 3: and everybody was given the same book and we can
- 9:30Speaker 3: all end up writing different reports. It's how you watch
- 9:35Speaker 3: the Chiefs and the Ravens. People keep writing the end
- 9:38Speaker 3: of the book as though these people are not what
- 9:41Speaker 3: you're actually seeing.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Oh no, the chief is still alive. They got a
- 9:45Speaker 1: little hope.
- 9:46Speaker 3: Okay, today like six and seven, you're not gonna accept.
- 9:52Speaker 3: You accept the Jets, you accept the fact. Why can't
- 9:56Speaker 3: you accept what you're seeing, at least for now, is
- 9:58Speaker 3: actually what's going on.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Because they don't know any of the other teams and players.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Oh okay, they don't need the familiarity.
- 10:09Speaker 3: But we will talk about some of these teams and
- 10:12Speaker 3: we'll get an answer from the bad producer on is
- 10:15Speaker 3: he keeping his Atlanta Falcon coach that came up yesterday
- 10:20Speaker 3: as well? Is it just mister Blank? Because mister Blank
- 10:24Speaker 3: is one of those professional owners that he doesn't really
- 10:28Speaker 3: do the splash game nine firing type moves.
- 10:35Speaker 1: That's not his tradition.
- 10:36Speaker 3: He does it like I like to where you made
- 10:39Speaker 3: this mess and lay you got to lay in it
- 10:43Speaker 3: until January the fifth or whenever the last day, and
- 10:46Speaker 3: then January to.
- 10:47Speaker 7: Sixth, I'll invite you to breakfast and you'll know because
- 10:52Speaker 7: it'll be it'll be in a drive through place.
- 10:56Speaker 1: At the house found out foundation right there.
- 10:58Speaker 7: Saying what's going on? Man, I'm over just real quick.
- 11:01Speaker 7: You got the keys to your office, I'm gonna run
- 11:05Speaker 7: by the.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Past and I'm gonna need that out because they will
- 11:09Speaker 2: cancel that pass code on you when you're no longer,
- 11:11Speaker 2: because that's how you get in the Falcons facility in
- 11:15Speaker 2: the gate.
- 11:15Speaker 3: You use a pass code like you like you're at home,
- 11:19Speaker 3: and as soon as they cut you, release you or
- 11:23Speaker 3: you're gone, you go back to that gate. Letters in, Yeah,
- 11:26Speaker 3: push your little letters in.
- 11:27Speaker 1: And it didn't work. Play Boy that don't work, and
- 11:30Speaker 1: then you just stand outside and look.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Then you got to drive back around to the way
- 11:33Speaker 3: the visitors come and push the button and talk to Hey,
- 11:38Speaker 3: gate attendant.
- 11:39Speaker 7: Hey, who's there? And it's me, Billy. I'm sorry, Billy.
- 11:46Speaker 7: Come on, man, you know my boys.
- 11:50Speaker 2: I'm sorry, sir. Do you need to speak to someone
- 11:54Speaker 2: how they treat you too? It's a cold feeling.
- 11:57Speaker 8: The coach have to have a trash back, and he
- 12:00Speaker 8: got to give his playbook up when they want when
- 12:02Speaker 8: they get fired to like they show on the HBO
- 12:05Speaker 8: when they cut the players.
- 12:07Speaker 1: A trash bag and what you.
- 12:08Speaker 8: Know, they put the the players. They had the trash
- 12:10Speaker 8: bag ready for him to trying to put all.
- 12:12Speaker 1: This stuff in. And after they get.
- 12:15Speaker 3: Some of that stuff just for television. Oh okay, yeah,
- 12:18Speaker 3: that's why you could just have him ship all your stuff.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Oh okay if you want. Yeah, that's what I think
- 12:24Speaker 1: of the scholarship me my stuff.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Right, the playbook, Yeah, you got to give it up
- 12:29Speaker 3: or they take some money out your check.
- 12:33Speaker 2: And you're looking for a job, so you don't really
- 12:35Speaker 2: need that. We'll be back more than Sports Duck show.
- 12:38Speaker 2: Right after that.
- 12:41Speaker 9: Time, he hang out taking shoot the movie wondering if
- 12:46Speaker 9: you got to stay in my lane out.

- 15:40Speaker 10: Now it's time to present the Jock of the Day
- 15:43Speaker 10: on the Sports jocksh.
- 15:44Speaker 11: It's taken it to a completely different level this year.
- 15:47Speaker 10: Where we highlight an accolte that has taken their game
- 15:50Speaker 10: to the next level.
- 16:01Speaker 5: Yeah, look like I'm going forth.
- 16:03Speaker 18: Twins flinging up the rims keep coming up the drench,
- 16:09Speaker 18: but I'm coming up the court fully drenched.
- 16:12Speaker 1: Back to this what shock shock? I'm this what shock?
- 16:14Speaker 3: Wayne Gandy for you viewers out there that love sports.
- 16:19Speaker 3: When your team and your coach does something that you
- 16:23Speaker 3: thought he shouldn't or she shouldn't do. Why do you
- 16:27Speaker 3: think you're right if Andy Reid decides to do something
- 16:33Speaker 3: on fourth down? You think he didn't consider what it
- 16:35Speaker 3: is that you are also thinking he wanted to go forward,
- 16:39Speaker 3: but you wanted him to kick a field goal. Why
- 16:41Speaker 3: do you think Andy Reid is wrong and you're right
- 16:46Speaker 3: if he doesn't get the fourth down? Why do you
- 16:49Speaker 3: think what you was thinking was it should have been better?
- 16:52Speaker 3: You think he went out there trying to lose a game.
- 16:54Speaker 3: You do you know his reasoning? Did you talk to
- 16:57Speaker 3: Andy Reid? Was he ready to make the move? Maybe
- 17:03Speaker 3: he had sat there for two to two and a
- 17:04Speaker 3: half quarters and decided, you know what, it's time to
- 17:07Speaker 3: either go or don't go. But laying it up is
- 17:12Speaker 3: no longer part of how I feel like we're gonna
- 17:15Speaker 3: win this game.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Do you think that?
- 17:18Speaker 3: Do you think anynythings that you picked when you're sitting
- 17:20Speaker 3: there with Troy Aikman and the booth and Tom Brady
- 17:25Speaker 3: and oh that should do this? When did you coach?
- 17:33Speaker 3: Because everybody raised when they make it, Yeah, everybody. You
- 17:39Speaker 3: don't own that you was wanting to kick the field goal?
- 17:42Speaker 3: You go along with they got the fourth and five.
- 17:45Speaker 3: You forget that you were sitting there talking about no no,
- 17:50Speaker 3: oh no. So I always wondered that because I's just
- 17:54Speaker 3: ear hustle, had maybe ten people listening, watching the game,
- 17:57Speaker 3: and every move somebody makes, they have decided whatever they know.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Like the coach knew he wasn't gonna get it, but
- 18:08Speaker 3: he called it anyway. Man, I ain't gonna get this
- 18:13Speaker 3: fourth and well, I don't even know why I'm going
- 18:15Speaker 3: for it go forward. I doubt that's the plan. You're
- 18:20Speaker 3: not reading the team. Sometimes you run a play to
- 18:23Speaker 3: get your team's attention in the game. I told y'all,
- 18:26Speaker 3: we came here to win. We're gonna lose this game winning.
- 18:31Speaker 3: I know, if you don't know about the game, then
- 18:34Speaker 3: you don't understand what that means. That means that either
- 18:37Speaker 3: we're gonna win forty two to zero or we're gonna
- 18:41Speaker 3: lose forty two to zero. But we're not going to
- 18:45Speaker 3: do that twenty four to twenty fourth thing where we're
- 18:49Speaker 3: waiting on a field goal kicker, because that's a lot
- 18:53Speaker 3: of We had this meeting. We had this meeting on
- 18:56Speaker 3: Wednesday that Sunday we just gonna go play to win.
- 19:00Speaker 3: We're gonna deal with the results of going forward. That's
- 19:07Speaker 3: what Dan Campbell. You think him and his team, don't
- 19:09Speaker 3: his team don't understand that. We got a coach that
- 19:12Speaker 3: throw the dice against the wall. He don't even have
- 19:15Speaker 3: no table. He doing the old school on the corner
- 19:17Speaker 3: blocks on his knee. Look at that youngster, have mercy,
- 19:24Speaker 3: Nobody rolling.
- 19:25Speaker 2: Ain't nobody pulling them back to him and handing them.
- 19:29Speaker 2: He's sitting and he's throwing it off the corner wall.
- 19:34Speaker 3: And his team plays like that. So I just wonder
- 19:41Speaker 3: when people see it's like, y'all think the coach out
- 19:42Speaker 3: there's like, no, man, I know I ain't gonna go
- 19:45Speaker 3: for it. I know he ain't gonna get it. I
- 19:47Speaker 3: doubt that's his He he's ready to move to something.
- 19:52Speaker 3: But all of us are coaches, aren't we.
- 19:57Speaker 7: I think that that might be express that might be
- 20:01Speaker 7: human nature with anything. We see something after it's happened,
- 20:05Speaker 7: and oh, man, you know you should have like you
- 20:08Speaker 7: would have made any wise of to see you've never
- 20:11Speaker 7: even faced the situation like that. So I think people
- 20:15Speaker 7: just like to make themselves feel better by feeling like
- 20:17Speaker 7: they knew something.
- 20:18Speaker 3: I get text all, why didn't why he't just kicked
- 20:21Speaker 3: the field goal? You should text him.
- 20:26Speaker 1: I don't know what, coach, I don't know what he felt.
- 20:28Speaker 7: It's hard for me to process rhetorical questions like that, like, man,
- 20:32Speaker 7: don't you think.
- 20:32Speaker 1: He should have what?
- 20:34Speaker 2: I know we're going to get to it later. Maybe,
- 20:37Speaker 2: I guess because I felt like we talked about Shador
- 20:40Speaker 2: every show, but I.
- 20:43Speaker 1: Didn't have him on tap. I didn't actually have him
- 20:47Speaker 1: on this. But that was a coaching decision in.
- 20:50Speaker 2: That game where they they were down by fourteen, they scored,
- 20:55Speaker 2: they went for two, they didn't get it, so they
- 20:57Speaker 2: got it back, they scored, had to go for two
- 21:01Speaker 2: to tie. But the question that people were talking about,
- 21:04Speaker 2: like why did they take Chadure off the field and
- 21:08Speaker 2: run this wildcat play for the two point conversion after
- 21:13Speaker 2: kids still go to Uh, they were going for the
- 21:16Speaker 2: win I'm talking about on the first field goal instead
- 21:20Speaker 2: were going. They were going they were they wanted to,
- 21:22Speaker 2: but it was still a lot of time score and
- 21:25Speaker 2: they wanted to go. They didn't want to play for
- 21:27Speaker 2: They don't want to play for overtime. You sound like
- 21:29Speaker 2: you know they didn't want to play for overtime. Well,
- 21:31Speaker 2: how you know they want to play? But he sounded
- 21:33Speaker 2: like that you was saying they didn't want to play
- 21:35Speaker 2: for overtime. That if they're down fourteen and you score
- 21:38Speaker 2: and you go for two.
- 21:40Speaker 8: So they were down sixteen, it was, and they they
- 21:43Speaker 8: were down and they were trying to if they would
- 21:47Speaker 8: have a chance to score and got the ball, they
- 21:49Speaker 8: would go up by one over that. But didn't get
- 21:51Speaker 8: But they still should have just kicked the extra point,
- 21:53Speaker 8: is what I'm saying. That he had like seven minutes
- 21:55Speaker 8: left in the game, and then you would have a
- 21:57Speaker 8: better option to go for the two or possibly they.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Went because I so because I decided to go for
- 22:03Speaker 3: the two beforehand, I was wrong. If I always is
- 22:09Speaker 3: gonna go for two, you saying I should only go
- 22:11Speaker 3: to at the last minute. I can't just go for
- 22:14Speaker 3: it now.
- 22:16Speaker 2: I didn't feel like because there's a lot of time
- 22:18Speaker 2: on the clock, and we ask you what we have practice,
- 22:23Speaker 2: you don't know the team. I came here to win.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Remember I told you we came here to win today.
- 22:27Speaker 2: We were gonna win.
- 22:27Speaker 3: We were gonna win and lose because we're already three
- 22:30Speaker 3: and nine, so we're gonna win and lose in that.
- 22:32Speaker 3: We ain't going to overtime. We ain't gonna do none
- 22:34Speaker 3: of that. That two point conversion is something that they
- 22:37Speaker 3: they we run three or four plays that we're gonna
- 22:40Speaker 3: use as our two point conversion play. We don't have
- 22:45Speaker 3: two or three of them. We have that down in
- 22:49Speaker 3: distance segment of practice. So if the wildcat is part
- 22:56Speaker 3: of the two minute package or two point conversion pedal
- 22:59Speaker 3: play package, how am I wrong for calling it? That's
- 23:04Speaker 3: what I'm saying. When were you at the meeting? When
- 23:09Speaker 3: were you at the meeting? Ask yourself that the course
- 23:13Speaker 3: of the week, he just what me you were talking?
- 23:15Speaker 3: What meeting of the Browns did you attend? Which practice
- 23:20Speaker 3: did you participate in?
- 23:22Speaker 1: Ask him? Sports jockey right there? What what what day
- 23:26Speaker 1: did you practice?
- 23:28Speaker 8: No, i have no problem with the package of the wildcat.
- 23:31Speaker 8: I'm just sitting what did you Ask him?
- 23:34Speaker 1: Again? Which meeting of the Browns did he attend?
- 23:38Speaker 2: Quick?
- 23:39Speaker 1: Last week? Quick?
- 23:40Speaker 7: Quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick quick Mary
- 23:43Speaker 7: Joe Cabot one of our marriage go to the meeting.
- 23:47Speaker 2: I'm just reading. I'm saying, I'm just reading. Some of
- 23:49Speaker 2: her reporters aren't in the meeting.
- 23:53Speaker 7: You get you're illustrating in real time what he's talking about,
- 23:57Speaker 7: like you are sitting there picking up apart and say.
- 24:02Speaker 3: They should as we go to break a lot of
- 24:06Speaker 3: people don't understand when they want everything to be to
- 24:10Speaker 3: the last moment. They wanted him to go make it
- 24:13Speaker 3: seven and they really didn't. They really just wanted to
- 24:16Speaker 3: make it to go to overtime. I don't want to
- 24:18Speaker 3: go to overtime today, coach.
- 24:21Speaker 1: The coach didn't either. We three and nine don't want
- 24:24Speaker 1: to go to overtime. That's why we.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Three and nine because we keep just trying to maybe
- 24:28Speaker 3: possibly win. Instead of trying I got to change the
- 24:32Speaker 3: culture of the Browns. That's what Dan Cammell did with
- 24:37Speaker 3: the Remember the lions that used to lay down. They
- 24:39Speaker 3: ain't have no mane on them. Nobody was scared of them.
- 24:44Speaker 18: The coward they.
- 24:44Speaker 1: Don't even have the cowardly lion.
- 24:47Speaker 3: They were the lion in Madacascar who got to Africa
- 24:52Speaker 3: and didn't have no clause, and then he was there
- 24:54Speaker 3: long enough he didn't understand. He never hunted for his
- 24:57Speaker 3: own meat. That's the Cleveland Browns. That's a lot of teams.
- 25:02Speaker 3: Atlanta Falcons are like that. Win or lose.
- 25:06Speaker 1: Stop this little laying up stuff.
- 25:10Speaker 3: When you're gonna go for a hole in one and
- 25:12Speaker 3: let it rip, that's how you end up being a loser.
- 25:18Speaker 1: We'll talk about that on the other side about my stillers.
- 25:21Speaker 3: That's why they keep being eight and eight because everybody
- 25:24Speaker 3: with this whole Mike Tumblin, you know, he ain't never
- 25:27Speaker 3: had a losing season and he ain't won a playoff
- 25:30Speaker 3: game in a decade either.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Why don't you mention that we'll.
- 25:35Speaker 2: Be that reward to Sports Jock show right after the laughed.
- 25:38Speaker 18: At that if the numbers don't matter. When they discussing
- 25:42Speaker 18: the Kings and turned around to see Ronn and got six.

- 26:04Speaker 13: When is the last time you reached out for help?

- 29:18Speaker 3: He's too young for this. He don't know nothing about
- 29:20Speaker 3: this right here. Some of this this is something his uncle.
- 29:24Speaker 3: His uncle was playing in his Camaro. Ready for the world,
- 29:32Speaker 3: Ready for this segment. Welcome back to the Sports Shock Show.
- 29:35Speaker 3: I'm the Sports Shock Wing Candy and it's going on
- 29:38Speaker 3: in the studio today. The bad producer is in his
- 29:41Speaker 3: Malcolm ex Lewis Farrakhan mold right now, he's on extreme
- 29:47Speaker 3: And if you don't know the bad producer, two things
- 29:49Speaker 3: you need to know about him. He loves white women
- 29:53Speaker 3: and he hates black people. Two things you should know
- 29:56Speaker 3: about him now. So he said, what's the first thing.
- 29:59Speaker 2: He loved white women, But everybody love white women, all right,
- 30:04Speaker 2: we all love black people.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Case by case.
- 30:08Speaker 3: It's one of those kind of things like case. It's
- 30:11Speaker 3: a thing of where he.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Were Malcolm mixing fair kindly. Well technically yeah it pans out, Yeah,
- 30:21Speaker 1: it's up.
- 30:22Speaker 3: The bad producer in here. We were talking about Mike Tomlin.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Mike Tumblin is a coach that has been the longest
- 30:30Speaker 3: tendered coach in the NFL. It's is his nineteenth year.
- 30:35Speaker 3: He won a super Bowl in about year two three
- 30:39Speaker 3: in his career. He's a little youngest coach to ever win.
- 30:42Speaker 3: The Bad Producer thinks that the fans in Pittsburgh are
- 30:45Speaker 3: calling for his job for because he's a black man,
- 30:50Speaker 3: which is so interesting. The still is one yesterday, twenty
- 30:53Speaker 3: seven to twenty three. If anything, in this game, we
- 30:57Speaker 3: are learning that maybe John Harball also maybe the spell
- 31:04Speaker 3: has won. It's like putting a spell on a team.
- 31:08Speaker 3: John Harball and Mike Tomlin's spell seems to be wavering.
- 31:14Speaker 3: They're two of the longest. I think Mike is maybe
- 31:17Speaker 3: a year longer than John. But they've been there so
- 31:20Speaker 3: long at these teams and it seems like whatever grip,
- 31:24Speaker 3: whatever idea that they implanet, it's starting to fall. The
- 31:30Speaker 3: Ravens don't look like the John Harball Ravens from five
- 31:35Speaker 3: to six years ago. They don't seem to play with
- 31:37Speaker 3: that same tenacity. They haven't really won anything with the
- 31:43Speaker 3: teams where they actually had the favorite team. It's just
- 31:49Speaker 3: sometimes you lose the attention. Now the stealers with Mike
- 31:54Speaker 3: Tomlin a lot of fans. I don't think they're firing Mike.
- 31:57Speaker 3: They're just looking maybe we need to change. I think
- 32:01Speaker 3: Mike Tomlin can give them the change. But as I
- 32:05Speaker 3: have been saying, you do have to, Mike has permeated
- 32:08Speaker 3: this kind of get by attitude. I'm gonna do everything
- 32:15Speaker 3: to be five hundred. I'm not gonna have a losing season. Well,
- 32:21Speaker 3: you keep doing that, that's the kind of way you
- 32:23Speaker 3: start being just in the middle.
- 32:28Speaker 1: That's your ambition, just to be in the middle.
- 32:30Speaker 3: And that's some people's right. Some people just want to
- 32:34Speaker 3: get on a flight. But there's some people who really
- 32:36Speaker 3: want to go to the moon, right right. It's a mindset.
- 32:40Speaker 3: And Mike went through the fans and through everything else,
- 32:43Speaker 3: has this, well, we ain't losing, but we ain't really
- 32:47Speaker 3: winning either. And you can see that yesterday on the
- 32:51Speaker 3: field with his back against the wall, the media, the fans.
- 32:55Speaker 3: What did the Stillers do first play? Right out the gate,
- 32:57Speaker 3: they go up top to DK metcalf. It's set a
- 33:03Speaker 3: tone for the game. What it set for the players.
- 33:05Speaker 3: We came here to win. If we line up in
- 33:08Speaker 3: this look and we get this particular player on DK,
- 33:10Speaker 3: we're gonna throw the bomb right off the jump. We
- 33:13Speaker 3: ain't waiting today. We ain't gonna wait until we down
- 33:17Speaker 3: nine ten points and then try to play. We're gonna
- 33:20Speaker 3: do it right now. We got the ball.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Let's go. Mike needs to let the reins. He plays.
- 33:26Speaker 3: He has the players playing safe. I've been saying this
- 33:29Speaker 3: all year if you've been watching me on the Stellers
- 33:32Speaker 3: Squad podcast. That's how he has Arthur Smith. Arthur Smith
- 33:35Speaker 3: already has a conservative offense. That's why you went and
- 33:39Speaker 3: got him. It's so conservative. I can tell the frustration
- 33:43Speaker 3: in Aaron Rodgers. He doesn't like it. You keep calling
- 33:47Speaker 3: me same old conservative four yard routes. Well, we're gonna
- 33:52Speaker 3: throw the ball down the field. Who cares if he
- 33:54Speaker 3: don't catch it. Maybe he will, maybe he won't.
- 33:56Speaker 2: That's football, right, I suppose, But it can never happen
- 33:59Speaker 2: if we don't do it, we don't try it.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Right.
- 34:02Speaker 3: But Mike Tomlin's on the hot seat because all this
- 34:05Speaker 3: ever is eight and eight, nine and eight.
- 34:08Speaker 1: It's been that way for over a decade.
- 34:11Speaker 7: But but now now in a in a league of
- 34:17Speaker 7: two and tens, one and eleven's eight and eight, A
- 34:26Speaker 7: nine and seven is you see what I'm saying.
- 34:29Speaker 1: You same thing. We all went home. We all went home.
- 34:32Speaker 7: But at my job though, you know when we go
- 34:38Speaker 7: to talking about efficiency and ability to get their eyes
- 34:46Speaker 7: look at me though. But I mean, I mean no, no,
- 34:48Speaker 7: I'm not way up here, but I'm not them, so
- 34:55Speaker 7: I should stay.
- 34:55Speaker 2: But you also are not those people. Yeah, but they
- 34:58Speaker 2: those guys they're there. That's that's you know that switches.
- 35:03Speaker 2: But you were up there once.
- 35:04Speaker 3: And what you're doing at least the team that is
- 35:07Speaker 3: one in sixteen, he's being able to go and maybe
- 35:12Speaker 3: retool with some guys. Your averageness keeps you at pick
- 35:15Speaker 3: number twenty two. You're never getting the freshest fruit. Yeah,
- 35:22Speaker 3: as you just always twenty two to twenty four. You're
- 35:26Speaker 3: the team right before. That means eight ten teams go
- 35:29Speaker 3: to the playoffs.
- 35:30Speaker 2: You're right there, drafted, almost went to the playoffs, almost went.
- 35:33Speaker 2: We almost went though, And that's how the team starts
- 35:36Speaker 2: playing like we almost win.
- 35:38Speaker 1: We're almost.
- 35:41Speaker 3: The Falcons have not found someone to come in and
- 35:44Speaker 3: just go out to That's what's so hardbreaking about them.
- 35:49Speaker 3: They don't ever play a season, go and b oh
- 35:52Speaker 3: and sixteen trying to win. Then the same little six
- 35:57Speaker 3: and ten just go forward?
- 36:03Speaker 1: Why not?
- 36:04Speaker 3: Well, you're gonna lose the fans anyway by Thanksgiving, so
- 36:09Speaker 3: why not just throw the ball down the field?
- 36:10Speaker 1: Do you think a lot blitz? Do you do?
- 36:13Speaker 7: You think it's And I've never been in a head
- 36:20Speaker 7: office or any of that, but right now, when justic
- 36:24Speaker 7: comes to having job security, so many coaches are worried
- 36:28Speaker 7: about you know, I mean they'll fire a due five
- 36:31Speaker 7: six games in. So I know if I go from
- 36:35Speaker 7: my nine and seven down the one in.
- 36:39Speaker 1: A what what you think, I'm gonna still have a what?
- 36:44Speaker 1: My kids in school here?
- 36:47Speaker 3: And Mike Tumblin has gotten away with that for a decade,
- 36:51Speaker 3: for decades, a decade at least. He is a good coach.
- 36:55Speaker 3: I don't think he should be fired, but he does.
- 36:58Speaker 3: Forget changing your coordinator and changing you the one need
- 37:02Speaker 3: to change you seem like you need a vacation just
- 37:06Speaker 3: to get reinvigorated. You sitting on that same disposition. When
- 37:12Speaker 3: are you going to when are you going to be?
- 37:17Speaker 2: He used to have some fire, He used to have
- 37:19Speaker 2: some fire, just bump and get they did something wrong,
- 37:24Speaker 2: Like I look and I was like, oh, Mike Tomlin,
- 37:27Speaker 2: you got to be careful you were catching before they
- 37:29Speaker 2: come off the field and go straight to them with
- 37:32Speaker 2: the with the finger and and what I what I
- 37:36Speaker 2: admired about him is he would get in their face
- 37:38Speaker 2: like that and they would show homage like yeah you right, coach,
- 37:43Speaker 2: and oh Mike Tomlin must be a BA. For the
- 37:46Speaker 2: expectations for the Steelers this year.
- 37:49Speaker 3: I thought they were going to be ten and seven.
- 37:50Speaker 3: I thought they were going to be just where they are.
- 37:54Speaker 3: There were the talent bases, they're not. But the energy
- 37:58Speaker 3: level in which they played, lack lustness of you know,
- 38:02Speaker 3: and the Stiller nation has to change too. They're spoiled
- 38:08Speaker 3: and what used to stand to be the Steller is
- 38:10Speaker 3: not on the market. Those kind of players aren't made anymore.
- 38:17Speaker 3: So you're saying, it's not like it's old leather, old
- 38:20Speaker 3: leather versus new leather. If you got a pair of
- 38:23Speaker 3: you can have to be in the same company. You
- 38:25Speaker 3: can have a designer shoe from ten years ago, and
- 38:29Speaker 3: the leather today is not the same. They still call
- 38:33Speaker 3: them leather shoes, but the weight is different.
- 38:37Speaker 7: Now see sports Jock, and you're talking about the Pittsburgh
- 38:41Speaker 7: fan base has to change there that's a heavy mindset
- 38:45Speaker 7: to change. It's not like the product is available. I
- 38:48Speaker 7: just gotta wait on the park to get here because
- 38:51Speaker 7: it's only in a select few places I can get it.
- 38:54Speaker 7: You're saying they don't sell this anymore. I can't get
- 38:59Speaker 7: another one of the ease. So whatever you do, you're
- 39:02Speaker 7: gonna have to upgrade.
- 39:05Speaker 8: But this is the thing that I saw the Steelers
- 39:08Speaker 8: that they don't do normally do for a fan.
- 39:11Speaker 1: That they went out and they spent money on Matt
- 39:15Speaker 1: calv the dB.
- 39:20Speaker 8: Ramsey. That's that's not a stealer. That's not the stealer
- 39:24Speaker 8: thing to go just throw money at players. So I
- 39:29Speaker 8: really think that they're trying to win with tom They're
- 39:33Speaker 8: trying to, Hey, let me get you, let me let's
- 39:35Speaker 8: let's make.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Your But you're not changing bad producers. I'm just trying
- 39:40Speaker 3: to help you out. It's not about Mike Tomlin being
- 39:43Speaker 3: a bad coach. Even with the pieces I'm giving you,
- 39:47Speaker 3: you still holding onto something that's no longer true. You're
- 39:55Speaker 3: still trying to win the game off of the defense.
- 39:59Speaker 1: That's what still they don't have that.
- 40:01Speaker 3: That's not what it happens. That's not the defense. Jaylon
- 40:04Speaker 3: Ramsey is not a stiller. He just got here.
- 40:08Speaker 2: Yeah, stillers are stillers are guys that have been overlooked.
- 40:12Speaker 1: And that's what I'm saying.
- 40:16Speaker 8: Yeah, Steelers did something different this year in the last
- 40:19Speaker 8: couple of years that normally they don't do as an organization.
- 40:23Speaker 3: To me, you changed three tires and left the fourth,
- 40:26Speaker 3: and then you're mad that the fourth blew out.
- 40:29Speaker 1: Mm hmm man, We're gonna leave that one.
- 40:35Speaker 3: Yeah, And this is why I said I watched sports alone.
- 40:39Speaker 3: I'm a person who likes to talk to people that
- 40:43Speaker 3: regardless of their bias, they still can be fair.
- 40:49Speaker 1: He just likes Mike Tomlin.
- 40:52Speaker 3: This is why, why this, and this is how the
- 40:56Speaker 3: Steelers has gotten to this point. Tell because Mike Tumblin
- 40:59Speaker 3: is a likable guy and he what he like That
- 41:03Speaker 3: don't make any don't mean that.
- 41:04Speaker 1: He's doing a great job anymore. He got fired and
- 41:08Speaker 1: what fire? And what fire you got?
- 41:14Speaker 24: Is this?
- 41:14Speaker 1: Five producers, We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show.
- 41:17Speaker 1: Out the Red Hot let.
- 41:22Speaker 9: Me let me go for him.

- 43:43Speaker 2: The college football playoffs brackets was set.
- 43:46Speaker 3: Notre Dame was left out. A lot of people ask
- 43:49Speaker 3: me about this. Big Kenny commanche greg Back producer, over
- 43:53Speaker 3: the last twelve, fourteen, eighteen hours getting texts about this,
- 44:00Speaker 3: Notre Dame deciding they're not going to a bowl game.
- 44:03Speaker 3: What do I think that is completely wrong of Notre Dame,
- 44:10Speaker 3: Completely wrong of Notre Dame. It's not wrong if Notre
- 44:15Speaker 3: Dame accepts the bowl game and the players decide not
- 44:20Speaker 3: to play, the guys that are draftable just go with
- 44:26Speaker 3: their business. But for Notre Dame to decide as a
- 44:31Speaker 3: school that I'm going to take my ball and go
- 44:35Speaker 3: home because you were left out, then get the system
- 44:43Speaker 3: to change. The problem with college right now is you're
- 44:47Speaker 3: trying to have the college world is going through a transition.
- 44:53Speaker 3: I think they're going to see themselves out of it.
- 44:55Speaker 3: I think it's going to be what I have been
- 44:57Speaker 3: talking Big Kenny for a while, where you just have
- 45:01Speaker 3: to deal with it like it's semi pro and stop
- 45:05Speaker 3: trying to deal with it like it's college football.
- 45:09Speaker 1: You really do.
- 45:11Speaker 3: You got to put the guidelines of trans You've got
- 45:13Speaker 3: to basically take what the NFL is doing and start
- 45:17Speaker 3: instituting those kinds of rules. What has happened the playoff
- 45:22Speaker 3: system has deleted the need for conference championship games, so
- 45:33Speaker 3: you don't actually need them. You have teams that were
- 45:38Speaker 3: viable for the twelve man playoff who were hoping not
- 45:42Speaker 3: to have to play in a championship. You just need
- 45:49Speaker 3: to get rid of that rule. And we've already seen
- 45:53Speaker 3: in the last two or three years by you instituting
- 45:55Speaker 3: a playoff system that the bowl games now are insignificant.
- 46:03Speaker 7: The conference championship seem a little bit insignificant because if
- 46:08Speaker 7: you're Alabama, you don't want them to You don't want
- 46:10Speaker 7: to play George.
- 46:11Speaker 1: Why would I want to play Georgia if it's not
- 46:12Speaker 1: for the playoffs again again, would that?
- 46:15Speaker 3: What did that do for Bama but make people feel
- 46:19Speaker 3: like they don't deserve or don't belong. When I played
- 46:23Speaker 3: a thirteenth game, I had the same record as you
- 46:27Speaker 3: did when you're in at ten and two.
- 46:30Speaker 1: But because I had to.
- 46:30Speaker 3: Go play another game, Wellbama shouldn't know why they were
- 46:34Speaker 3: ten and two when all this started. Nobody does this
- 46:39Speaker 3: for playoffs. Nobody has. Nobody says if we have a
- 46:42Speaker 3: playoff system, but some of you have an extra game
- 46:44Speaker 3: to play and then we'll get the playoffs going. That's
- 46:49Speaker 3: not really how it really works in the playoff system.
- 46:52Speaker 1: We either don't have.
- 46:53Speaker 3: A playoff system or not so coles and championship games
- 46:58Speaker 3: or I wouldn't play if I was junior senior about
- 47:02Speaker 3: to leave unless I had some huge endorsement deal with
- 47:07Speaker 3: the Bowl. Yeah, I see why guys are agents and
- 47:12Speaker 3: families are saying, well, there's no need to go down
- 47:15Speaker 3: and play in the Testedos Bowl.
- 47:19Speaker 1: We just start this pro life. Go ahead, bad producer.
- 47:23Speaker 8: Yeah, they mentioned the conference championship game got two teams
- 47:27Speaker 8: in James Madison James Madison University in Tulane, those Dukes
- 47:32Speaker 8: and a lot of people are didn't get in. No,
- 47:36Speaker 8: he's James Madison Dukes, that's there the oh yeah, yeah,
- 47:39Speaker 8: that's that's that's their mascot.
- 47:41Speaker 1: But matching mentioning Duke.
- 47:43Speaker 8: But Duke in Virginia was in the a SEC championship
- 47:46Speaker 8: and the Power four they were they were expecting better
- 47:50Speaker 8: championship games. And this they're saying, this is what allowed
- 47:53Speaker 8: Tulane and James Madison to slide in. But this is
- 47:56Speaker 8: what the conference people. They changed the rules every year
- 47:59Speaker 8: because last year they thought they made a mistake because
- 48:03Speaker 8: they gave the wrong teams to buy.
- 48:05Speaker 3: Well, this year, James Madison and Tulane cannot beat Notre
- 48:10Speaker 3: Dame or any They're only in this system because on
- 48:15Speaker 3: a college mindset, you keep trying to say, you're trying
- 48:18Speaker 3: to create some fairness. So we're going to keep a
- 48:21Speaker 3: spot for the group of five.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Yeah, they gonna buy the top five, the top ranked
- 48:27Speaker 2: conference champions. So James Madison and Tulane are ahead of Duke.
- 48:34Speaker 1: So that's why they that's why they got in.
- 48:37Speaker 8: And as you said, Miami, if it would be in Miami,
- 48:40Speaker 8: Virginia playing in the conference game instead of a duke,
- 48:46Speaker 8: it's probably be a different look. But what's the complaint.
- 48:50Speaker 8: I mean, I don't understand that they changed the.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Rule this year.
- 48:53Speaker 7: Just I guess this is my question. Why does everybody
- 48:57Speaker 7: keep trying to act like this? It's so statistically sound
- 49:01Speaker 7: that there's no room for just to I like them
- 49:04Speaker 7: a little more.
- 49:05Speaker 1: It's very That's what I'm saying you.
- 49:08Speaker 7: You you keep wanting some sort of black and white
- 49:12Speaker 7: right or wrong.
- 49:14Speaker 2: What I'm saying is for something you shouldn't have lost
- 49:22Speaker 2: by that.
- 49:22Speaker 8: But if we want a great playoff, not your Dame
- 49:25Speaker 8: should be in there instead of James Madison to Lane, Listen,
- 49:28Speaker 8: we want to have a better game.
- 49:30Speaker 1: That's what I'm trying. To make it fair for the group,
- 49:35Speaker 1: if you're going to make it fair.
- 49:36Speaker 8: But you know that if they can't beat him in
- 49:39Speaker 8: the regular season, it gets blowed out.
- 49:41Speaker 1: Oh miss blow to Lane, and you're missing just to
- 49:45Speaker 1: give him a chance.
- 49:46Speaker 3: And you're missing what I said because you're still under
- 49:50Speaker 3: a college kind of We want to have some fairness.
- 49:56Speaker 3: As I have been telling you, football players could have
- 49:59Speaker 3: got paid years ago. If you stop letting the football
- 50:04Speaker 3: team have to keep the other teams alive. You want
- 50:08Speaker 3: to have a little cross team. Well that was the
- 50:11Speaker 3: check that could have went to the football team. But
- 50:14Speaker 3: we call it what sharing. But but and in this
- 50:22Speaker 3: case with Notre Dame, you keep because everybody else would
- 50:27Speaker 3: They never let the little guys in. Well little guys
- 50:32Speaker 3: don't play nobody.
- 50:34Speaker 1: You know what I thought was interesting?
- 50:36Speaker 7: No, but it comes when it comes to, uh, the
- 50:39Speaker 7: power and the prestige of big time football. Georgia and
- 50:44Speaker 7: Alabama played for SEC championship in the Mercedes Being Stadium.
- 50:49Speaker 7: Everybody else played on campus for their conference championships.
- 50:53Speaker 1: They played on a home, not Duke, and they played
- 50:57Speaker 1: in Panther Stadium.
- 50:59Speaker 2: The rest of them were James Madison played James Madison and.
- 51:05Speaker 1: But the other games were at a NFL.
- 51:08Speaker 3: The Power four play in the neutral site. All the
- 51:12Speaker 3: other people that you're talking about got in. They play
- 51:14Speaker 3: home or away. So if anybody's sitting there know the Dame,
- 51:20Speaker 3: Tulane and James Madison. I mean I asked some people
- 51:24Speaker 3: to know what James Madison was and they did not
- 51:27Speaker 3: know what state it is. Even in Harrison burd you do,
- 51:30Speaker 3: so you know, they don't know. They have never watched
- 51:33Speaker 3: them play. They won the Sun Belt, right, I saw
- 51:37Speaker 3: them play.
- 51:38Speaker 2: A Georgia State or the American Yeah, they want to
- 51:42Speaker 2: beat North Texas and this is no lie.
- 51:44Speaker 3: James Madison can't beat my sovereign. Sorry, Auburn ting. I've
- 51:49Speaker 3: seen James Madison play. I went to the Georgia State game.
- 51:52Speaker 3: They don't. They just beat the people in the Sun Belt.
- 51:57Speaker 3: And Auburn is terrible. And I'm okay saying that that
- 52:02Speaker 3: they couldn't beat them. It is, but they're gonna keep
- 52:07Speaker 3: to the same format next year, the Power four teams.
- 52:09Speaker 1: If you win the championship, you get in.
- 52:11Speaker 2: And it might expand to fourteen teams. It's never gonna
- 52:14Speaker 2: be it and it's never gonna be enough. We'll be
- 52:17Speaker 2: back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 52:19Speaker 6: What you're doing tonight, put on some type don't judge.

- 54:10Speaker 3: The w n B A.
- 54:11Speaker 1: Oh that's the would any of you miss it? No? No,
- 54:17Speaker 1: because I got so no w n B A, that's
- 54:22Speaker 1: the they didn't come back in twenty twenty six.
- 54:25Speaker 2: It wouldn't that's professional women's basketball when.
- 54:30Speaker 1: It wouldn't unrail you, It wouldn't.
- 54:32Speaker 7: Wait that angel, I'll watch the song else anger is
- 54:36Speaker 7: in that right? Yes, yes, we'll find someth would you
- 54:40Speaker 7: miss No? That's and that's that's wild, isn't it? Because
- 54:46Speaker 7: they last week they was talking about still negotiating some deal,
- 54:49Speaker 7: and I was thinking, you know, y'all really could go
- 54:51Speaker 7: out of business and nobody, Yeah, I wouldn't. Y'all have
- 54:54Speaker 7: like a set core fan base and other than that,
- 54:58Speaker 7: nobody would be like, you know, they went out of business.
- 55:01Speaker 1: Now, I'm saying, because.
- 55:04Speaker 7: Can you tell us if the season is in or
- 55:07Speaker 7: out right now?
- 55:09Speaker 1: Does anyone know? Are they even playing right now? No?
- 55:13Speaker 2: They don't play until May May and then the season
- 55:16Speaker 2: is over in September.
- 55:18Speaker 1: They play like those five Are you sure? Are you sure?
- 55:22Speaker 2: I mean because it sounds kind of like you I know,
- 55:25Speaker 2: they had they had their finals, like on their play
- 55:28Speaker 2: games on Sundays when football is on.
- 55:32Speaker 1: That's what they keep doing a lot of times.
- 55:34Speaker 7: To me, contract negotiations are almost akin to drawing a
- 55:39Speaker 7: line in the sand that hey, either I get what
- 55:41Speaker 7: I want or I walk. And you're not really in
- 55:44Speaker 7: a position to threaten anybody with walking, because walking wouldn't
- 55:48Speaker 7: really be noticing.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Walking away is only.
- 55:51Speaker 7: Effective when people notice that you're gone, and no one
- 55:56Speaker 7: would notice the w n b A is gone.
- 55:58Speaker 3: Chris Paul Tyler seem like they couldn't make it work
- 56:02Speaker 3: out with the Clippers. The Clippers let Chris wall, Chris
- 56:07Speaker 3: Paul walk, letting him go.
- 56:14Speaker 1: Tyloo.
- 56:14Speaker 3: Chris Paul rumored not to have even been on speaking
- 56:18Speaker 3: terms for the last three weeks. Not a good position
- 56:22Speaker 3: to be at at a player that you and the
- 56:24Speaker 3: coach aren't even communicating. You have to imagine it's always
- 56:29Speaker 3: hard for the player and the coach to coexists when
- 56:36Speaker 3: they used to be.
- 56:39Speaker 1: Opponents. Never thought about that. It's hard.
- 56:44Speaker 7: I thought about, Chris, you used to tell me to
- 56:47Speaker 7: tell my mama that you said hello regularly.
- 56:51Speaker 3: Chris Paul, is what forty one Tyler's like forty eight?
- 56:58Speaker 1: This looks like he's fifty six.
- 57:00Speaker 2: Oh random shot that random he just called that. But
- 57:04Speaker 2: they would have been in the league about the same time,
- 57:07Speaker 2: you know, at least a handful of years, probably when
- 57:10Speaker 2: Tyler was a player. They both of point guards.
- 57:14Speaker 3: Chris Paul could easily be adjacent Kidd type person who
- 57:18Speaker 3: retires tomorrow and be coaching some team. I think people
- 57:23Speaker 3: see that about him. He looks like that kind of guy.
- 57:25Speaker 3: He looks like that's what he brought to a team,
- 57:28Speaker 3: that kind of mentality. So wouldn't be surprised to see him,
- 57:32Speaker 3: even if it's not an NBA easily can see him
- 57:37Speaker 3: being someone's head coach GM here come April or whatever.
- 57:43Speaker 1: When he could.
- 57:48Speaker 2: It's not for certain now just because of the actual
- 57:51Speaker 2: reputation Chris Paul has, because all the information that's come out.
- 57:56Speaker 2: The team got tired of his locker room lawyering, calling
- 58:01Speaker 2: out like we need to do this, or talking to
- 58:05Speaker 2: players like, hey, you should you should do this.
- 58:09Speaker 3: He was the NFL. He a president for many years.
- 58:14Speaker 3: He was he held that position where he was the
- 58:16Speaker 3: players Union's uh the players.
- 58:19Speaker 7: NBA players Union represent represented. He was a he was
- 58:22Speaker 7: a he was the president of the NBA players NBA. Yes, yes,
- 58:26Speaker 7: so wasn't need work. Yeah, that's that's part of his job.
- 58:29Speaker 7: There's a with the with the with the team as
- 58:32Speaker 7: far as like.
- 58:33Speaker 3: End game every team, every team has a player rep.
- 58:37Speaker 3: And one of those thirty teams, one of those guys
- 58:41Speaker 3: are the main player rep that talks to the head
- 58:44Speaker 3: of the players Union, who also works with Adam Silver.
- 58:48Speaker 3: So Chris John paul job is to assess, get information
- 58:52Speaker 3: about how things can be better. Yeah, and then go and.
- 58:56Speaker 1: Take that directly the voice of the people.
- 58:58Speaker 3: Yeah, he's been doing. He's been doing. I don't understand
- 59:00Speaker 3: how everybody's in there. Oh he was lawyer, Yeah, he was.
- 59:07Speaker 2: With the union part and then with the games like
- 59:10Speaker 2: it seemed like they were just tired of hearing.
- 59:13Speaker 3: But is that If Wake Forest needs a coach, Chris
- 59:20Speaker 3: Paul could walk right over there and yeah, where's my
- 59:24Speaker 3: past code? Right, I'm a new coach of the all
- 59:27Speaker 3: of us be like, hey, man, Chris Paulter the.
- 59:29Speaker 1: Head coach waiting for I got to check nobody. Yeah,
- 59:32Speaker 1: nobody would be on some path to coach. What path
- 59:36Speaker 1: did he take? Who did he coach?
- 59:38Speaker 3: He's already been there, He's not just a Hall of
- 59:40Speaker 3: Fame player. He's also been voted by his peers to
- 59:45Speaker 3: be that representation, Yes, to represent their interest their interests.
- 59:51Speaker 8: So and he did that while he was with the
- 59:53Speaker 8: Clippers for six seasons. So it's not the organization problem.
- 59:56Speaker 8: It was a personal with him with Tyler. So I
- 59:59Speaker 8: underst Yeah, they didn't. They didn't like that.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: If the coaches called a play or some kind of
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: defense and he would go to the players and like, hey,
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: you should do this, and it's it's something different, then
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: that's where the clash was. But most he could be
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: the head coach of the Pelicans.
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: Let me make that a notation.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: Remember they just got rid of Green, so they don't
- 1:00:24Speaker 3: like Chris Paul was drafted by them, he was their
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: first round pick. He stayed there for like four or
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: five years.
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: And co great just personal trade to the Lakers.
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: Watch it now, that's a great And why not It's
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: possible you hired us what was Green's first name, Willie Green?
- 1:00:44Speaker 3: So you think the Pelicans organization is why wouldn't they
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: hire Chris Paul if that's what he wanted to do.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: And and you said that there was.
- 1:00:55Speaker 7: Discrepancies with they're calling a play and then him telling
- 1:00:59Speaker 7: the player, this is what we should do. If you
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: were a player, who would you listen to the coach
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: who now their coach?
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: Like some haven't has actually played. But if you are
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: dealing with.
- 1:01:12Speaker 7: Someone who coached or was in the game years ago,
- 1:01:17Speaker 7: as opposed to somebody I'm on the court with now,
- 1:01:20Speaker 7: who would you be more inclined to follow?
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Uh? The be Like if it's between that coaching, it
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: depends on the coaching player or who I would trust more.
- 1:01:31Speaker 3: But so I believe Chris Paul couldn't humble himself to
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: be a player for Tylou. And what if that's already
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: sentimented in your heart, then it's not going to be
- 1:01:42Speaker 3: able to be happened.
- 1:01:44Speaker 2: Yeah, especially if they played the same position. So I
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: don't they see the game? Chris, you need to hold
- 1:01:49Speaker 2: the ball alonger what you hold the ball too long?
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: That's no problem.
- 1:01:54Speaker 3: Some people of your personality can't handle that because you've
- 1:01:58Speaker 3: already written in your mind who this guy is and
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: now you're trying to tell me.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: But it was pinted he get all the way to
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: Atlanta didn't sit well.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: He had already announced he was retiring, so he kind
- 1:02:13Speaker 3: of opened that door for the Clippers to make a move.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Tyloop might not have won it Chris Paul in the
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: first place, and the organization did trying to fill the
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: sp sell some jerseys. And the great thing is if
- 1:02:28Speaker 3: they make him the head coach next year and get
- 1:02:31Speaker 3: rid of.
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: Tylo, vengeance is mine. We'll be back more to Sports
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: Show after this.
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: I'm so I'm so proud of you.
- 1:02:41Speaker 21: Everything's adding up, even do hell them back to way

- 1:02:49Speaker 5: Wayne Gambia's coming up next.
- 1:02:53Speaker 21: Choosing to buy a gun was not a decision I
- 1:02:55Speaker 21: took lightly, but with everything going on, I really wanted
- 1:02:59Speaker 21: to feel.
- 1:02:59Speaker 11: Like I could prote myself.
- 1:03:01Speaker 21: I hadn't thought about the danger of an unlocked gun
- 1:03:03Speaker 21: in my own home.
- 1:03:04Speaker 29: To me aware your napkins, not that drawer unless anyone
- 1:03:10Speaker 29: needs a gun.
- 1:03:13Speaker 21: Now, I always locked my gun to keep everyone safe.

- 1:03:46Speaker 19: You may.
- 1:03:52Speaker 10: Come to come.
- 1:03:55Speaker 4: To I'm gonna go on the way.
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: Welcome back to this for Shock Shuk the spot Shock
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: Wing kand good morning to you out there listening Land.
- 1:04:12Speaker 3: Glad to be here with you, Big Kenny the Bad
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: producer comanchie Greg Monday Night Football, the Eagles at eight
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: and four taking on the Chargers at eight and for
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: Miami beating the j.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: E t S Jets Jets Jets thirty four to ten.
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: That is my Ammy's fourth win in a row.
- 1:04:36Speaker 3: They've found themselves a little life here over the last month,
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: going to New York, playing in the cold and being
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: able to do a little thing and win at thirty
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: four to ten over the Jets. Jets positioning themselves for
- 1:04:55Speaker 3: the first pick of the draft once again. I mean
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: talking about a team that's a perennial top five pick
- 1:05:04Speaker 3: situation for the Jets. The Stealers we talked about. They
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: beat the Ravens Lamar Jackson and the Ravens at home.
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: Twenty five year anniversary for that Ravens team that won
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: the Super Bowl back in two thousand with Ray Lewis,
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: But the Stealers showing resilience after a long week of
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: talk about Mike Tomlin and his job situation. Stealers are
- 1:05:33Speaker 3: positioning themselves whoever's in that division, whoever wins it, similar
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: to over with the Bucks kind of situation who lost yesterday.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: The Stealers only one team in that division, whoever wins
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: it is going to go to the playoffs. Same thing
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: as the Falcons, Bucks, Saints and Panthers. But New Orleans
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: surprisingly once again showing some grit going to Tampa and
- 1:06:02Speaker 3: beating them twenty four to twenty. Jacksonville, who's having outstanding season,
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: Trevor Lawrence looks like maybe he finally got to notice.
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: Took him a long time to figure it out, but
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: that Jacksonville defense is really humming. They caught a break
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: yesterday with Daniel Dimes. Daniel Jones getting hurt early on
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: blew his achilles. I saw the play, I knew since
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: exactly what happened. He fell to the ground like someone
- 1:06:35Speaker 3: had shot him in the leg. No contact achilles, So
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: his contract will be doing this offseason. Achilles injuries, even
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: when you're young, puts him probably just getting around to
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: practice third practice of the preseason third week maybe would
- 1:06:59Speaker 3: be early. So whoever signs him will just be getting
- 1:07:03Speaker 3: him back in time for maybe the season, even at
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: that young age. Tennessee taking on Cleveland beating them thirty
- 1:07:11Speaker 3: one to twenty nine. Uh in the Battle of the
- 1:07:15Speaker 3: first Rounders, Jewers, Sanders, and Ward. Tennessee is terrible. Cleveland
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: is terrible, terrible. Even watched that game.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: Can you say terrible? How do you say? Is it
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: more terrible or terrible? It will be more terrible or
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: just terrible, just dismal. Just drag it out like Charles
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: Patroci terrible.
- 1:07:43Speaker 7: Just go to just start using I can't pronounce real good, patrocious.
- 1:07:50Speaker 7: It's just patrocious.
- 1:07:52Speaker 6: Uh.
- 1:07:53Speaker 3: Thirty seven to nine, The Seahawks came to Atlanta. Long
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: flight happened? Put put it on What Happens Yesterday? Bad producer,
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: tell us about this game of your Falcon. Quick quick, quick, quick, quick,
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: quick quick quick, Rise up and tell us the game
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: just got out of hand real quick.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: He said, it got out of hand, real quick, got
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: out of hand real quick. No answers, defense, offense.
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: Okay, I like that, okay, trying not trying to make
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: no and and where is Where is Raheem Morris?
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: You your smash your pass? Where is he?
- 1:08:33Speaker 7: Man?
- 1:08:33Speaker 8: Come on, no diddy, Uh, We're gonna keep him.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: We're gonna keep no man. We find Raheem still with us,
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: We're still there.
- 1:08:43Speaker 3: And what is it about him you think of why
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: you want to keep him?
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Mhm?
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: Is it the same reason Mike Tomlin shouldn't be fired?
- 1:08:52Speaker 8: No, Raheem is he's working it. I mean this is
- 1:08:57Speaker 8: what third year? We second, well really second year if
- 1:09:01Speaker 8: we're technically look at it. But we still got to
- 1:09:04Speaker 8: get our pieces together. He got the defense. To me,
- 1:09:06Speaker 8: I think the defense is where we.
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: Need to go. He's a defensive guy.
- 1:09:10Speaker 8: Uh, you just got to get the right coordinator on
- 1:09:12Speaker 8: offense or give us a quarterback.
- 1:09:14Speaker 7: Or Okay, And I'm not disputing you, sir. I'm just
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: trying the best running back in the game. I'm just
- 1:09:22Speaker 7: trying to keep Plus, we are linemen or down.
- 1:09:25Speaker 8: We got injuries, so you know we we we're not
- 1:09:28Speaker 8: were So the man should get fired because of injuries.
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: You say the defense is clicking? Did you say it's clear?
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: I said the defense is back better than we have
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: been in.
- 1:09:36Speaker 7: The Okay, because I was going to say someone who
- 1:09:39Speaker 7: has actually played professional football, says that the rule is
- 1:09:45Speaker 7: offense sales tickets, defense wins championships, and the Falcons record
- 1:09:51Speaker 7: is what now.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: Better than the Jets.
- 1:09:54Speaker 8: Possibly, But at the same time, you definitely you need
- 1:09:58Speaker 8: to be dissecting your team. But I'm giving as straight
- 1:10:02Speaker 8: up about my team. Where we are he asked the question,
- 1:10:06Speaker 8: I'm saying we're not where we should be.
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: It's four.
- 1:10:10Speaker 7: Okay, the question, right, So the defense, the defense has
- 1:10:14Speaker 7: only managed to win four game because obviously the offense
- 1:10:21Speaker 7: isn't just outscoring anybody.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: So we know the offenses struggling. Our defense actually has.
- 1:10:27Speaker 8: Like I said, I stated before, we've got we're getting better.
- 1:10:30Speaker 8: We got to defense make some great choices. At first,
- 1:10:33Speaker 8: I wasn't believeing in our GM, but I believe in him.
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: Now, how are you going to create an environment that
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: free agents want to come to the Falcons? That's what
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: I would propose to you and Raheen. Something has to
- 1:10:50Speaker 3: happen with the Falcons that makes them more of somewhere
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: that people want to come to. In contract number two,
- 1:10:58Speaker 3: well raided to in contract number four, Well, I'm hoping
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: that we because one of your major pieces the Falcons
- 1:11:09Speaker 3: are always trying to win with draftees well and and
- 1:11:13Speaker 3: and sometimes you do catch a couple of good years
- 1:11:17Speaker 3: based on that.
- 1:11:18Speaker 8: Well, the best pick up we probably as aligneman that
- 1:11:20Speaker 8: year when we picked up Gosh the center from Cleveland
- 1:11:25Speaker 8: a time, Alex Mack and then from there we just
- 1:11:31Speaker 8: it just we made it. Had a great offensive line
- 1:11:33Speaker 8: for Matt at that time. And I think if we
- 1:11:35Speaker 8: could get like I said, get our line stay healthy
- 1:11:39Speaker 8: with Bijon and London and we get us, we could
- 1:11:43Speaker 8: get one top name receiver.
- 1:11:48Speaker 7: And he's what is the thing to is that the pitch?
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: Come on, man, come to Atlanta.
- 1:11:55Speaker 7: He's asking what do you do to excite?
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: How do you? How do you keep We're gonna keep me?
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: He like, I just asked you, how do you how
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: do you know? They said that about Dejan and Jackson
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: State too.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: Now, yeah, man, we gave that man number seven.
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: He better not go.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: I know you just said his name like he's just
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: a locked lot because you say the best in the game.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: Oh, he's the best. That means that anybody wants a
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: running back mister Blank already know we got Blank the
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: best one. We're gonna pay high dollar.
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: Mister Blank Bell. Hey, mister Blank, I don't think he's
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: gonna I don't think it's a money thing. I think
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: it'll be a b Jeon Robinson thing.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: We'll find out he's in a position that teams can't
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: question what he's asking for. He's gonna go and say
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: I want to be the highest.
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: Paid, and then every team that wants him'm gonna already
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: know we're gonna have anything.
- 1:12:53Speaker 7: That Atlanta's social scene would hold him. I mean, if
- 1:12:57Speaker 7: he could go to it, I don't want to believe either.
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: Don't think I I didn't ask the question like I
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: want him to leave. No, he please state, but we
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: didn't think Michael Parsons would be in Green Bay either.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: Nod in contract to.
- 1:13:14Speaker 8: Mister Blank is not emotional, not like that owner. So
- 1:13:18Speaker 8: I mean, mister Blank is like Jerry Jones.
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: Jerry Jones did not make that decision out of emotion.
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: He rolled the dice that he needed more than that
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: one piece. And since that trade, the Cowboys have been
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: playing better.
- 1:13:36Speaker 1: I can't tell you. Have you been watching them? Yeah?
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: I saw on Thursday night. Okay, they've been playing well.
- 1:13:47Speaker 3: So I just asked the question, do you think he
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: would stay.
- 1:13:52Speaker 2: Yeah, he's gonna be all right.
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: We're gonna be a gonna We ain't crossed that.
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: We hadn't got to that rim standing you standing that
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: you're standing on the.
- 1:13:59Speaker 8: Float, and we got them. We got a boat. This
- 1:14:04Speaker 8: is this year, man, y'all bee, this y'all picked my Yeah,
- 1:14:10Speaker 8: this is your three. That means yeah, this next year,
- 1:14:13Speaker 8: we gotta start talking to Cud.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: We're just gonna sign him. This year. We're gonna get
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: it locked. Then come on, I think they should. You
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: see you got me ready.
- 1:14:21Speaker 3: But you just said you got a lot of holes
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: to feel Herscher walker Field, a lot of holes for
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: the cowboys?
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: Are you not now? We we we ain't that desperate.
- 1:14:29Speaker 8: Becuse me, We're not that desperate to get rid of
- 1:14:31Speaker 8: Bejon now because like you said, I can't.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: No, we we give you.
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: But does Bjon? Bjon seems like he wants to win. Yeah,
- 1:14:41Speaker 2: he wants to win. We're gonna they're not doing that.
- 1:14:45Speaker 8: Look like I said, he's doing good with the line
- 1:14:48Speaker 8: that we got and we got entries.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Can we I mean, come on now, if I line,
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: our line is saving for the locker room, man.
- 1:15:00Speaker 18: And I'm go and get some pips form a couple
- 1:15:03Speaker 18: formulas little pretty libs on if I hadn't tear, I
- 1:15:07Speaker 18: will pull it out and sit on onst listen.
- 1:15:10Speaker 5: Let me shake it off.
- 1:15:12Speaker 11: I just found a cup with the don't bowl.

- 1:16:34Speaker 17: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:16:36Speaker 17: just getting started with our family and thought we lived
- 1:16:38Speaker 17: forever life insurance, Well, what's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: What about you?
- 1:16:41Speaker 11: Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:16:43Speaker 17: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:16:45Speaker 17: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will

- 1:16:49Speaker 17: the insurance informant.
- 1:16:50Speaker 10: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:16:54Speaker 10: security no matter what stage of life you're in.

- 1:21:13Speaker 3: when I was a freshman. Nicki Minaj forty three And
- 1:21:20Speaker 3: the legend, Larry Legend, cold blooded. You had to see
- 1:21:26Speaker 3: it to understand it, because a lot of you when
- 1:21:29Speaker 3: you go and you google Larry Bird, you go by stats,
- 1:21:36Speaker 3: and Larry it was not just a stat thing. It
- 1:21:42Speaker 3: was a legendary big Kenny jumping in the air and
- 1:21:49Speaker 3: by the time he land the legend let a three
- 1:21:53Speaker 3: go and brought Kenny to tears.
- 1:21:59Speaker 1: And you had to see we had to understand it.
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: And even when you saw it, you really didn't understand
- 1:22:04Speaker 2: like that.
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: So you don't get sometimes why people if you there,
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: if you ask them who they're starting five, and you
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: can't say that Larry Bird wouldn't be there three or
- 1:22:17Speaker 3: he in their second three, you know, because you're going
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: off of something else. You're going off of some highlight
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: dunk that he dunked on nine. No, it was Larry legend.
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: It was right when we was about to go on
- 1:22:28Speaker 3: the roll. Remember we was on that roll and we
- 1:22:32Speaker 3: were gonna do that thing. We went on like an
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: eight oh run, and.
- 1:22:35Speaker 7: Then somebody lost the ball and they passed it to
- 1:22:37Speaker 7: him and they thought they were gonna have to catch
- 1:22:39Speaker 7: him and pinned against the glass, but he got nowhere
- 1:22:41Speaker 7: near the glass and he just fired it up anyway,
- 1:22:44Speaker 7: and everybody was like, don't get nervous, don't get nervous.
- 1:22:47Speaker 7: Were still okay, and then he do it four more
- 1:22:49Speaker 7: times than you'd be like, hey, time out and telling
- 1:22:51Speaker 7: you about it the time, telling you you know, this
- 1:22:55Speaker 7: is the part where I'm gonna break your heart here
- 1:22:58Speaker 7: and if you don't realize it, the true story.
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: I got the book off the any of you read it.
- 1:23:04Speaker 3: Larry Bird and Magic Johnson are what saved the NBA.
- 1:23:10Speaker 3: They are what set the template for the Jordans and
- 1:23:14Speaker 3: the Elijah Wands and the Shacks and Kobe's and Lebron's.
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: They brought the NBA off of tape delay. Their rivalry.
- 1:23:26Speaker 3: People were so enamored with it from the college rank
- 1:23:31Speaker 3: that they was able to go to two rival programs
- 1:23:34Speaker 3: or two type rival teams. And before that you saw
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: last night's game today, I know you.
- 1:23:45Speaker 7: Didn't get the paper just so you TV used to
- 1:23:49Speaker 7: go off and forgot the store used to be in
- 1:23:52Speaker 7: the paper.
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: It's the same.
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: Yeah, it's the same thing with the Magic and Bird,
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: that true rivalry, and both of their impacts are never
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: necessarily just about the numbers you see when you average,
- 1:24:09Speaker 3: but it set up what we know to be the NBA.
- 1:24:11Speaker 3: Big Kenny little work.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Here, who would you say was set now? Seventy is out?
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Seventy is happening.
- 1:24:18Speaker 7: I'm a singer, I see, but I'm gonna have to
- 1:24:21Speaker 7: go with h Terry Hatcher.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: Okay, Superman, Lowis Lane clonk Llwis Lane.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: Yeah, she used to do being gone all the time.
- 1:24:31Speaker 2: They ain't come back with an extraordinary story. Baby, you
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: ain't gonna believe I was not. Now.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: I had to fly around the world and revise just.
- 1:24:38Speaker 7: So I could get back here for your birthday. Man, whoo,
- 1:24:43Speaker 7: let's luthor tripping. I missed your birthday, so I made
- 1:24:46Speaker 7: time go back. I made time go back, baby, because
- 1:24:49Speaker 7: I was here kind of, but I wasn't here. I said,
- 1:24:53Speaker 7: you was at the park yet, but super speed to speed.
- 1:24:59Speaker 7: I was at the park, but then I wasn't at
- 1:25:01Speaker 7: the park per se and the bad producer over here.
- 1:25:03Speaker 7: I can just imagine who we had on the list.
- 1:25:06Speaker 7: You know him. We'll be back. You don't know what
- 1:25:12Speaker 7: that is. We talk show right after this critic song.
- 1:25:21Speaker 1: As money I see. I read the magazine Don't.
- 1:25:29Speaker 5: Go awayne board of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne
- 1:25:32Speaker 5: Gamdidias coming.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: Up next, hurting the game.
- 1:25:37Speaker 30: We tough it out, feel exhausted, we push on, feeling down,
- 1:25:42Speaker 30: We pull ourselves up by the bootstraps, but there are
- 1:25:46Speaker 30: times when bootstraps aren't enough, when stress gets to us
- 1:25:49Speaker 30: and we need to talk to someone about what we're
- 1:25:52Speaker 30: really going through. So we're going to reach out because

- 1:26:10Speaker 16: So we ask kids, what do you want your parents

- 1:26:19Speaker 9: evaluate situations with me and lead me towards success.
- 1:26:23Speaker 31: We're not adults, so just just be there and like, listen.
- 1:26:29Speaker 31: I just want someone to apt to and I just
- 1:26:31Speaker 31: feel like I'll be fine. Like if someone just hears
- 1:26:34Speaker 31: me talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and.
- 1:26:36Speaker 9: Talk and talk, you're doing a really good job.
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: And I don't think that.
- 1:26:40Speaker 31: So I don't know, and I know sometimes we get
- 1:26:42Speaker 31: into it.
- 1:26:44Speaker 1: It's just hard on both of us.
- 1:26:47Speaker 2: But I'll try to understand me more and I'll try
- 1:26:50Speaker 2: to do the same.

- 1:27:12Speaker 21: to feel like.
- 1:27:12Speaker 11: I could protect myself.
- 1:27:14Speaker 21: I hadn't thought about the danger of an unlocked gun
- 1:27:16Speaker 21: in my own home too.
- 1:27:18Speaker 29: Me aware your napkins, not that drawer unless anyone needs
- 1:27:23Speaker 29: a gun.

- 1:27:44Speaker 24: Gandy Player's Lounge. I'd have been given full access to
- 1:27:52Speaker 24: the player's lounge on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 1:28:01Speaker 18: Yell me and.
- 1:28:06Speaker 27: Men m.
- 1:28:10Speaker 9: Ain't they ain't saying nothing.
- 1:28:13Speaker 28: I guess that it can't tell me nothing.
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: A beast in the check bes in the check. A
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: beast in the check bes in the check. Looking back
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: to this wy Shock show, the spot Shock.
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: Wayne againde the largest cocaine seizure by the Coast Guard
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: in nineteen years, twenty thousand pounds of cocaine. And when
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: I read this, only reason I'm starting to segment with
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: this comanche, uh, is because I realized that if twenty
- 1:28:42Speaker 3: thousand pounds was seized by the coast Guard, that means
- 1:28:48Speaker 3: I'm underestimating how many of my friends do cocaine twenty
- 1:28:54Speaker 3: thousand pounds. That means just to I had it maybe
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: one of or cocaine. That kind of seizure made me realize,
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: big Kenny, that is three of six friends, half of
- 1:29:10Speaker 3: your friends.
- 1:29:11Speaker 7: Twenty twenty thousand pounds, and that was one of about
- 1:29:14Speaker 7: eight shipments that were on the way that day.
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: Because that sounded like a supply enough for a year
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: at least to about nine thirty.
- 1:29:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: That the holiday that gets us to.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: The Sugar Bowl, right, Yeah, to the Sugar Bowl.
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: First week the NFL Playoffs that week zero in the playoffs.
- 1:29:38Speaker 1: It depends on who you're hanging with.
- 1:29:39Speaker 7: I ain't gonna say that's just a regular shipment, but
- 1:29:42Speaker 7: if you if you're with the right group, y'all ought
- 1:29:44Speaker 7: to be able to get to college playoffs.
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: Get twenty pounds and tupo is rumored and you know
- 1:29:53Speaker 3: likely rumored maybe that the Milwaukee Bucks may as soon depart.
- 1:29:58Speaker 3: Maybe trade we were talking about out maybe a Tree
- 1:30:00Speaker 3: Young trade possibility the bad producer. What do you think
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: would you like Janni's trade trade for Janni's No, I got.
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: A question about I'd love to see Gianni's here. What
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: do you think command I get right back to you. Uh,
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: it would be It'd be hard to do, but it's
- 1:30:21Speaker 2: it's what I'm saying. What I'm saying more of. Would
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: that be something like you're a hardy fan? Yeah?
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: Would you take that? Is it worth it? Yeah?
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: Okay, okay, So we got two yes's and one though,
- 1:30:32Speaker 3: go ahead?
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: How is it that?
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: And I'm sure there is gamesmanship or I don't know
- 1:30:37Speaker 2: if it falls under proprietary information, But they asked Doc
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: Rivers flat out about the rumors, and there's no validity
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: to other We have just talked.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: I talked to him every day.
- 1:30:50Speaker 7: I talked to him every and he never said anything
- 1:30:54Speaker 7: about that to me.
- 1:30:55Speaker 3: Well, I think it's about whether Yanna's. If you're the Bucks,
- 1:30:59Speaker 3: you're in that situation that a lot of teams here
- 1:31:01Speaker 3: in the NBA have found themselves in trying to get
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: a jump on reading yanna's as far as is he
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: gonna leave? And now he's given he's kind of quiet
- 1:31:15Speaker 3: about what what?
- 1:31:17Speaker 5: So?
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: Who said that? Right?
- 1:31:18Speaker 3: Like like Kevin Durant comes up to your office, Hey,
- 1:31:22Speaker 3: what's going on?
- 1:31:23Speaker 25: Bro?
- 1:31:23Speaker 7: Y'all know how I get out of him? But you
- 1:31:26Speaker 7: know I will leave you act like quit playing? Well,
- 1:31:30Speaker 7: I don't keep it back, y'all. He's already sold his house.
- 1:31:34Speaker 7: There's no furniture in it. He's just staying in there
- 1:31:38Speaker 7: like he's already left.
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: He goes by the house you check on to make
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: sure the doors.
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: Are I think the Bucks are trying to get their safeguarding.
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: Like man, they're trying to make it seem like he's no,
- 1:31:49Speaker 1: he's just he's just he's just.
- 1:31:53Speaker 3: Where I could get a trade, because you're talking about
- 1:31:57Speaker 3: what eight of the thirty teams with trade for him
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: if they could you know, so I don't want it, and
- 1:32:05Speaker 3: that's where the teams get caught. They don't want to
- 1:32:07Speaker 3: get caught where you didn't give me no. No, he's
- 1:32:10Speaker 3: one of those lines.
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: It would be with his personality in the league because
- 1:32:15Speaker 2: they professional kind of I was just playing the country.
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: I thought you knew what what so this is what
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 1:32:24Speaker 7: They've already put out a list of potential teams that
- 1:32:27Speaker 7: he might go to, and Atlanta is on the list.
- 1:32:29Speaker 7: But he and Doc keep going, now, where do you
- 1:32:32Speaker 7: get that from from your agent? But he gets calling
- 1:32:36Speaker 7: people and asking are you Are they interested?
- 1:32:39Speaker 1: And you keep saying no.
- 1:32:41Speaker 8: The reason I say no though, for the trade is
- 1:32:43Speaker 8: because I look at Gianni's just like trade. I mean,
- 1:32:47Speaker 8: there's no there hasn't been any big name free agent
- 1:32:52Speaker 8: who wanted to go to Milwaukee and play besides my
- 1:32:55Speaker 8: man Dame that went to play with Gianna's up there.
- 1:32:59Speaker 1: Didn't they get ring out of that?
- 1:33:00Speaker 8: No? So no he didn't. And and what I'm saying
- 1:33:04Speaker 8: is Janice is like Trey. I mean, to me, I
- 1:33:06Speaker 8: see neither one of them have pulled in another superstar
- 1:33:10Speaker 8: to come and play with him. So that's why I
- 1:33:12Speaker 8: say no, It's just like the same person to me
- 1:33:15Speaker 8: as far as me getting another.
- 1:33:17Speaker 3: Well, last time I checked, Janis has how many rings?
- 1:33:21Speaker 20: One?
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: And how many times did he play for one? Two? One? One? Yeah? One?
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: How many do Trey have? Zero? How many games?
- 1:33:32Speaker 3: You think people go to the game to see Janni's
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: versus people go to the game to see Trey if
- 1:33:38Speaker 3: Jannis can't he if Jannis came here to play. The
- 1:33:42Speaker 3: response to the fans versus when Trey Doude. People know
- 1:33:45Speaker 3: that Trey Young is in Milwaukee to play, you ain't.
- 1:33:50Speaker 3: They're going about out not not now, no, okay now.
- 1:33:54Speaker 3: But at one point at the barbershop, people respond to
- 1:33:58Speaker 3: Giannis the Greek freak. Ticket prices go up. Ticket prices
- 1:34:02Speaker 3: don't go up with trade Young. Mm hmm, they don't.
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: Nobody's expecting him to come. He's liker. He's like, what's
- 1:34:12Speaker 3: the kid for Charlotte hounets Lamello. That's how he's seen
- 1:34:20Speaker 3: other arenas the bad producer don't want to see that.
- 1:34:23Speaker 3: I didn't say he was bad. I think the tray
- 1:34:25Speaker 3: is on his way to the Hall of Fame. But
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: his charisma, everything about him. He doesn't sell tickets, his
- 1:34:34Speaker 3: own team, his own fan base, or wouldn't necessarily holler
- 1:34:39Speaker 3: you have bad producer who's a bias kind of guy.
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: I set to the game. Trey's whole career and ear
- 1:34:48Speaker 3: hustling people are okay if you could give them yan
- 1:34:52Speaker 3: us as what we replaced him with. Well, while y'all
- 1:34:58Speaker 3: trade Trey.
- 1:34:58Speaker 7: Young because we got I did years ago.
- 1:35:08Speaker 8: Now that's and we have conversations now, and you and
- 1:35:13Speaker 8: I have had conversations at the Hawks game.
- 1:35:16Speaker 1: That young man in Oklahoma City.
- 1:35:18Speaker 8: I've said, at one point in time Westbrook, when trades
- 1:35:22Speaker 8: trade value was up, and this young man shake Gil Chris,
- 1:35:26Speaker 8: Alexander wasn't hi. I was like, you might say, man,
- 1:35:30Speaker 8: why can't we just ship trade back to Oklahoma for Shay?
- 1:35:33Speaker 1: Why could when that trade went down? Nobody wants trade?
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: But I'm saying, but when at that when it happened,
- 1:35:38Speaker 3: We're talking about a viable, but Milwaukee team sitting here,
- 1:35:42Speaker 3: maybe feeling their superstar about leave out the building without
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: telling us, And who could?
- 1:35:48Speaker 2: Why would I tell you? Because I'm not going anywhere
- 1:35:51Speaker 2: I'm comfortable.
- 1:35:51Speaker 8: Why can't we just bring you honest here with trade?
- 1:35:53Speaker 8: Why can't I mean to do something like that? I mean,
- 1:35:56Speaker 8: is not gonna come here without a trade. You gotta
- 1:35:58Speaker 8: you're gonnat. You gotta get the whole team to get Jannis.
- 1:36:01Speaker 8: If you're teaming him up with trade, you gotta get team.
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: They want everybody, everybody Alexander Walker, you can have Walker,
- 1:36:09Speaker 2: you can have all gonna want six players?
- 1:36:12Speaker 3: Janis will end up. If Joannis goes free, he will
- 1:36:16Speaker 3: go to the Lakers. You Lebron retire, he will go
- 1:36:22Speaker 3: to the Lakers, play with Luca.
- 1:36:23Speaker 1: Oh h, that makes sense.
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: If he just walks free and gets the pick a team,
- 1:36:31Speaker 3: the Lakers, Lebron to be gone, he fits right in.
- 1:36:33Speaker 3: Right there they go, they go the money.
- 1:36:40Speaker 1: They might go to the Knicks.
- 1:36:41Speaker 8: Yes, I was the New York possibly New York to
- 1:36:45Speaker 8: be honest. Okay, but as I stated, if.
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: He's not coming down seventy five or eighty five South, yeah, yeah,
- 1:36:52Speaker 3: I'm saying Hawk Hawks, if you go ahead and trade
- 1:36:57Speaker 3: everybody you can.
- 1:36:58Speaker 8: If you want to bring nice head, keep Tray and
- 1:37:01Speaker 8: I'm fine with that. If you want to do it,
- 1:37:02Speaker 8: they're not gonna take that. That's what I say. So
- 1:37:04Speaker 8: don't trade trading. That's all I'm saying.
- 1:37:06Speaker 3: This might well keep what we got and the Hawks,
- 1:37:09Speaker 3: since Trey has been hurt, have been playing much better.
- 1:37:14Speaker 1: I told y'all we need do Jayalen.
- 1:37:17Speaker 3: Johnson, the first found pick, Zachary Roses Share. Everybody has
- 1:37:23Speaker 3: been bawling out without trade, and the it's like, I
- 1:37:28Speaker 3: don't know, I don't hear any fan begging for Trey's return.
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: By the rest of the season, that there's no there's
- 1:37:40Speaker 2: no market for him. But yeah, they're.
- 1:37:45Speaker 1: Colorado, Colorado.
- 1:37:48Speaker 3: Buffalo's Deon Sanders financial situation coming up. They say Colorado
- 1:37:54Speaker 3: is in danger of losing money with the new contract
- 1:37:59Speaker 3: they gave Prime and without the same numbers of last
- 1:38:06Speaker 3: year's pandemonium that fell off real fans fell off real quick.
- 1:38:10Speaker 3: And that's why I was reading it. Once they pushed
- 1:38:13Speaker 3: his salary up to where he should be making for
- 1:38:16Speaker 3: what he's bringing in. It really ate up all of
- 1:38:21Speaker 3: their leverage. So for you out there, just showing you
- 1:38:26Speaker 3: the business of sports when you sometimes you be thinking,
- 1:38:31Speaker 3: even my Auburn Tigers about ten years ago, they went
- 1:38:36Speaker 3: three four years where I think even one of them
- 1:38:41Speaker 3: they didn't even break even. You be thinking, because you
- 1:38:44Speaker 3: see it, You see all the fans, you see the
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: Auborn you see it. You're thinking, No, it's like, no,
- 1:38:50Speaker 3: you start firing coaches or giving people raises.
- 1:38:54Speaker 1: You got some assistance. You're not just always paying the
- 1:38:56Speaker 1: head coach.
- 1:38:57Speaker 2: They just don't be adding in the assistant coaches salary too,
- 1:39:02Speaker 2: you know, because some of those guys are still on
- 1:39:04Speaker 2: their two years.
- 1:39:05Speaker 3: You ain't want me either. They get their check as well,
- 1:39:09Speaker 3: you know so and with Dion and you got to
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: get back to those winning ways. Uh is prime time
- 1:39:17Speaker 3: and continue that because Colorado was already kind of more
- 1:39:21Speaker 3: of a They're.
- 1:39:23Speaker 1: Not a national brand.
- 1:39:25Speaker 2: The regional brand general very regional like a lot of
- 1:39:28Speaker 2: school they're not a national brand. And unfortunately, when they're
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: not winning their fans. Even you've seen this season, if
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: you tune into some of the games, it's been a
- 1:39:40Speaker 2: week crowd and you didn't have the draw.
- 1:39:44Speaker 3: You're not You don't have Shaduur, you don't have his brother,
- 1:39:48Speaker 3: and you didn't have the great Travis Hunter to be
- 1:39:51Speaker 3: able to sell a fan, so you didn't have the draw.
- 1:39:58Speaker 1: We'll be back more to Sportshock Show right after this
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: Don't Go Away, or of the.

- 1:42:21Speaker 3: Joy welcome, I said the Sports Shock show. I'm the
- 1:42:25Speaker 3: Sports Shock playing game. And now that would be interesting
- 1:42:27Speaker 3: the bad producer, Uh say d n and be all right?
- 1:42:30Speaker 3: And I would That was not an attack on Dion.
- 1:42:33Speaker 3: That was showing you how the financial landscape big Kenny.
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: Yes, yes, command business. It's still a business.
- 1:42:41Speaker 3: Yes, and there's a certain idea of how prime time
- 1:42:45Speaker 3: does bring. But nobody tunes in if it's losing to
- 1:42:53Speaker 3: door standards would just fade away. In the n f
- 1:42:56Speaker 3: L with the Browns, it's just one of those things
- 1:43:01Speaker 3: you don't win. People forget you. I went to the Rams.
- 1:43:06Speaker 3: When I went to the Steelers, people thought I was
- 1:43:08Speaker 3: a rookie. I was on your six because I was
- 1:43:11Speaker 3: with the Lambs. We didn't we went on the national broadcast.
- 1:43:16Speaker 3: People didn't care about your stats in a losing game
- 1:43:19Speaker 3: like you didn't.
- 1:43:20Speaker 1: It was like that, so, man, how are you in league?
- 1:43:24Speaker 7: Man?
- 1:43:24Speaker 1: It's year nine? Oh man, who you play for?
- 1:43:29Speaker 3: It was because at the time I was with the Rams.
- 1:43:34Speaker 1: And everybody kind of we know you.
- 1:43:36Speaker 3: We were at four and twelve, five and eleven, I
- 1:43:39Speaker 3: think one year we were six and ten, but we
- 1:43:41Speaker 3: didn't have any Monday night games or Sunday night that
- 1:43:44Speaker 3: kind of stuff too for to put you in people.
- 1:43:46Speaker 3: You go to teams and get forgotten. It's like going
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: to play And I asked you, who's the starters for
- 1:43:52Speaker 3: Sacramento Kings.
- 1:43:54Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, you know my guy, that one dude, the
- 1:43:59Speaker 2: other guy, it's one of those.
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: KD KD.
- 1:44:05Speaker 3: Kevin Durant was saying he wouldn't go to Charlotte because
- 1:44:09Speaker 3: you just do You just go to Charlotte or you
- 1:44:10Speaker 3: go to the Brooklyn Net.
- 1:44:11Speaker 1: You go to Charlotte to challenge.
- 1:44:13Speaker 2: And yeah, your check clicking, but but you're just living.
- 1:44:17Speaker 1: There ain't no eyes on you. So that was not
- 1:44:20Speaker 1: I saw him.
- 1:44:21Speaker 3: He gets in that little huff when you talk about
- 1:44:23Speaker 3: his four or five people that are untouchable, and I
- 1:44:26Speaker 3: wasn't putting it has nothing to do with Dion It
- 1:44:29Speaker 3: just shows that the Colorado fan base and what happened
- 1:44:32Speaker 3: with Colorado was almost like a fad, and they don't
- 1:44:37Speaker 3: feed into the fad, it falters and.
- 1:44:40Speaker 7: Then and then it's it's it's almost customary now to
- 1:44:47Speaker 7: have to preface what you say about Chador or Dion what.
- 1:44:52Speaker 7: I'm not trying to put them down, but when speaking
- 1:44:55Speaker 7: of coach Prime at Colorado, he did guarantee them that
- 1:45:00Speaker 7: he would come there and not only in steel, but
- 1:45:03Speaker 7: maintain winning ways. And he had a decent first season.
- 1:45:08Speaker 7: And now this is what third season there and they
- 1:45:13Speaker 7: are saying they're in financial trouble. When they had practice
- 1:45:18Speaker 7: games that tickets were the ticket price was elevated, and
- 1:45:25Speaker 7: he just just just to beginning, so.
- 1:45:28Speaker 2: They barely had they didn't really have the money when
- 1:45:31Speaker 2: they hired him.
- 1:45:33Speaker 7: I'm saying, but he show them that this experiment is
- 1:45:38Speaker 7: going to remain profitable because we're going to win. And
- 1:45:42Speaker 7: I'm saying now that the hype has died. And there
- 1:45:45Speaker 7: were plenty of people that were saying, once the smoke
- 1:45:48Speaker 7: clears and people just have to get back to the
- 1:45:51Speaker 7: business of playing football, how well will he do? And
- 1:45:55Speaker 7: he's showing how well he has done, and nobody wants
- 1:45:58Speaker 7: to talk about that part. Now, if he were to
- 1:45:59Speaker 7: be fireired, they would swear it was because they've just
- 1:46:03Speaker 7: hating on the black man, waiting to get a chance
- 1:46:05Speaker 7: to take him down. But the bottom line is he's
- 1:46:09Speaker 7: not producing what And in other programs we've seen in
- 1:46:15Speaker 7: the middle of the season, third fourth game, in big
- 1:46:18Speaker 7: programs like LSU, they fired a coach and winning just
- 1:46:22Speaker 7: poached the coach from another major program on some.
- 1:46:26Speaker 1: Look, man leave tonight. It ain't no big deal. And
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: that's all I'm saying.
- 1:46:32Speaker 7: When it comes to d I, nobody wants to say, well,
- 1:46:35Speaker 7: he should get what other college coaches are getting when
- 1:46:39Speaker 7: they lose this bad.
- 1:46:40Speaker 1: What there we go want to see him.
- 1:46:42Speaker 7: I'm not saying fired, I'm saying the resigns.
- 1:46:46Speaker 8: I'm saying, but you said, did LSU fire the man
- 1:46:49Speaker 8: mid season? Why can't he get the same?
- 1:46:51Speaker 2: I'm saying, why can't he get the same scrutiny is getting?
- 1:46:55Speaker 2: The scrutiny is winning. I went to talk to him.
- 1:46:59Speaker 2: The first thing he said, the health. The first thing
- 1:47:00Speaker 2: out of your mouth was that Deane had a health
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: issue this year. That was the first thing you said.
- 1:47:12Speaker 2: You went right too. But I'm the explanation. That's what
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: Big Kenny is saying. Nobody was checking on the health
- 1:47:19Speaker 2: of some other coach somewhere.
- 1:47:22Speaker 8: It was okay when Urban Maya was saying he was unhealthed,
- 1:47:25Speaker 8: he was having health problems. So what's wrong with Deon
- 1:47:28Speaker 8: having little health issues?
- 1:47:30Speaker 2: Where is that the health issues weren't allowed?
- 1:47:35Speaker 1: No one said that. I'm not saying that.
- 1:47:38Speaker 3: And nobody said anything about firing deond just out of country.
- 1:47:44Speaker 2: Now I'm saying that anything outside of completing total praise
- 1:47:48Speaker 2: for Dion Sanders is hating?
- 1:47:50Speaker 1: Is that? Is that?
- 1:47:52Speaker 8: Is that anything outside of component state you should be
- 1:47:56Speaker 8: loving Dion?
- 1:47:57Speaker 2: I'm saying, why that's not anything out He's as an
- 1:48:03Speaker 2: alumnus of Talladega College.
- 1:48:06Speaker 8: Man, that man did work for Florida State on Saturdays,
- 1:48:09Speaker 8: so we know that Florida State.
- 1:48:12Speaker 1: See that's and that's what and that's what he's saying.
- 1:48:14Speaker 1: If you're not completely lawyer.
- 1:48:17Speaker 2: A loyalist, Yeah, if any anything that is stating a
- 1:48:22Speaker 2: fact that it's not complete and total praise and applause
- 1:48:27Speaker 2: or or outright positive is hating.
- 1:48:30Speaker 3: And the thing too, which was always on my docket
- 1:48:35Speaker 3: to see what happens with prime was these years, what
- 1:48:40Speaker 3: will Deon Sanders produce without having the big Joker and
- 1:48:45Speaker 3: the little Joker in his hand? And since he's been coaching,
- 1:48:51Speaker 3: he's had the big joker and the little joker in
- 1:48:54Speaker 3: his hand in Travis Hunter and Shoulder Sanders. And now
- 1:49:01Speaker 3: we see instantly without those two cards, he doesn't know
- 1:49:06Speaker 3: how to make a book. And he's gonna have to
- 1:49:08Speaker 3: learn how to make books in the game of spades
- 1:49:13Speaker 3: without having the two trump cards.
- 1:49:17Speaker 1: Oh that's all we try.
- 1:49:22Speaker 5: And do that.
- 1:49:23Speaker 2: We'll see has he done it yet? Now we'll be
- 1:49:28Speaker 2: back more to Sports Jock Show right after this.
- 1:49:31Speaker 11: In the money, I'm about to tell him bloody staying bloody.
- 1:49:34Speaker 1: Pretty women, now your hell by your hair right now?
- 1:49:37Speaker 6: Huh.
- 1:49:37Speaker 11: We should all disappear right.
- 1:49:39Speaker 5: Now, don't go a Wayne Born of the Sports Josh
- 1:49:43Speaker 5: Hill with Wayne Gambia is coming up next.
- 1:49:48Speaker 1: But I smoke, I get lost in the music.
- 1:49:51Speaker 20: I like to isolate each instrument, the rhythmic bags, the
- 1:49:55Speaker 20: harmonies on the piano, sticky melody.
- 1:50:00Speaker 14: Hey, Hey, hey, careful bad, there's someone crossing the streets.
- 1:50:05Speaker 1: Sorry I didn't see them there. If you feel different,
- 1:50:08Speaker 1: you drive different. Don't drive high. It's dangerous and illegal everywhere.
- 1:50:14Speaker 1: A message from NITZA and the AD Council.
- 1:50:17Speaker 22: Nobody had to tell your grandparents not to drive all
- 1:50:20Speaker 22: using their typewriters. Why should it be any different for
- 1:50:24Speaker 22: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the
- 1:50:27Speaker 22: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 1:50:31Speaker 1: Come on, we're smarter than this.
- 1:50:33Speaker 22: Let's put down the phones and focus on the roads.
- 1:50:36Speaker 22: Drive safe, everybody.
- 1:50:39Speaker 23: Don't drive distracted. A message brought to you by the
- 1:50:41Speaker 23: National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the
- 1:50:45Speaker 23: AD Council.
- 1:50:50Speaker 5: And now back to the sports John Wayne Gandy.
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: It's time for a school board.
- 1:50:58Speaker 24: When we put a spin on LFE in sports and
- 1:51:01Speaker 24: how they intermingled on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Dandy.
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: Stamping a candle? Who got radio?
- 1:51:14Speaker 31: All right?
- 1:51:15Speaker 1: Headlight? I can't sleep?
- 1:51:18Speaker 2: I tossed the term candlesticks in the dark visits the
- 1:51:21Speaker 2: bodies being turned for closing in walking back to this
- 1:51:25Speaker 2: what shot?
- 1:51:25Speaker 1: Shout this what shock?
- 1:51:26Speaker 5: Wayne Candy?
- 1:51:28Speaker 3: Uh X NFL star Antonio Brown trying to get his
- 1:51:33Speaker 3: case in Florida dismissed, Uh says uh dismissal of attempted
- 1:51:39Speaker 3: murder charge should fall under the Florida stand your ground law.
- 1:51:45Speaker 3: So his defense, Big Kenny Kimanchi, Greg bad producer, is
- 1:51:49Speaker 3: that he his charge of second degree attempted murder stems
- 1:51:56Speaker 3: from he was trying to stand his ground. Now, you
- 1:51:59Speaker 3: guys watch the video. Just from the video, no judges,
- 1:52:03Speaker 3: no court, no lawyers. If you just was going off
- 1:52:07Speaker 3: the video that you saw, would the stand your ground
- 1:52:11Speaker 3: law be in effect for what Antonio Brown is talking about.
- 1:52:16Speaker 2: Now we're talking about the video that I saw of
- 1:52:18Speaker 2: him holding a firearm and running out of a building
- 1:52:22Speaker 2: and chasing some people who are already up the street.
- 1:52:26Speaker 3: Yes, that video. No, so that wasn't Staniel ground No
- 1:52:29Speaker 3: command you, Greg? Was that standil ground? From what you know?
- 1:52:33Speaker 3: Staniel ground law to be no, bad producer.
- 1:52:39Speaker 2: From what I know, it wouldn't be. But he was
- 1:52:42Speaker 2: getting after whoever it was?
- 1:52:45Speaker 1: Yes, no, yeah, so no permission to treat the witnesses.
- 1:52:52Speaker 1: Permission to treat the witnesses.
- 1:52:53Speaker 3: This is what his lawyers are going to try to
- 1:52:55Speaker 3: I guess they're going to try to say he was
- 1:52:58Speaker 3: still in the mindset, or maybe the guys had left.
- 1:53:03Speaker 1: Or is there some video evidence to come.
- 1:53:05Speaker 3: Back your honor. You've you've been in the court. I
- 1:53:12Speaker 3: don't know how this is what I'm saying. I might
- 1:53:14Speaker 3: have tried. Your ground had to be. You were in
- 1:53:17Speaker 3: front of me. You weren't standing your ground when you
- 1:53:19Speaker 3: went to do bat. I'm just saying all of that
- 1:53:22Speaker 3: went real.
- 1:53:23Speaker 7: But no, stand your ground usually is someone is trying
- 1:53:28Speaker 7: to harm you. You're in feel for your life, you're
- 1:53:31Speaker 7: having property taken from you, They're trying to break into
- 1:53:34Speaker 7: your home, something like that. Stand your ground is usually
- 1:53:38Speaker 7: away from the home. So you are being assaulted, you're
- 1:53:42Speaker 7: being robbed, and you're refusing to give up your possessions,
- 1:53:46Speaker 7: so you protect yourself.
- 1:53:47Speaker 1: Isn't that what he and that's what he's claiming.
- 1:53:49Speaker 8: And that's what I said, right right, there's some video
- 1:53:52Speaker 8: that we haven't seen this out there.
- 1:53:55Speaker 7: No, I'm saying, but stand your ground loses. It's pope.
- 1:54:00Speaker 7: And see when you have taken whatever my property is,
- 1:54:05Speaker 7: you turn and now you're fleeing.
- 1:54:09Speaker 1: The crime is over. I'm still alive.
- 1:54:13Speaker 7: My fear for my safety, my fear of having my
- 1:54:18Speaker 7: life taken is abated because you are now fleeing away
- 1:54:24Speaker 7: from the scene. I had to wrestle a firearm I
- 1:54:28Speaker 7: didn't have it on me and protect it myself. From
- 1:54:31Speaker 7: my understanding, he wrestled this firearm away from a security
- 1:54:35Speaker 7: person who wasn't involved in protecting him and then chase
- 1:54:41Speaker 7: these people and they were so far away that he
- 1:54:45Speaker 7: shot at them and missed.
- 1:54:47Speaker 3: And that's why I said, from the video right from
- 1:54:50Speaker 3: right now and today, from the video of the three
- 1:54:52Speaker 3: of you, say no, it wouldn't fall understand your ground.
- 1:54:56Speaker 3: So it seems like his lawyers are going to try
- 1:54:58Speaker 3: to concoct maybe they know something I don't have something else.
- 1:55:03Speaker 3: Christian would, formerly of the Lakers rental home, believed that
- 1:55:10Speaker 3: he was at a rental home where he had to
- 1:55:12Speaker 3: actually fire from shots to get people away from his house.
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: The story is that they ordered some pizza to his
- 1:55:25Speaker 3: address to see if he was at the rental property.
- 1:55:28Speaker 1: That is the story.
- 1:55:31Speaker 3: They were in the location they call ordered a pizza
- 1:55:35Speaker 3: to his address to get the pizza delivery person to go.
- 1:55:38Speaker 7: To the house, to the house and see him open
- 1:55:41Speaker 7: the door gon no that's not for me.
- 1:55:44Speaker 3: Or no, no one's there at all, and leave back
- 1:55:47Speaker 3: with the pizza.
- 1:55:48Speaker 1: So they were using that I guess gimmick well.
- 1:55:53Speaker 8: And man, people be really playing like you know, you
- 1:55:56Speaker 8: can really get messed up out here.
- 1:55:58Speaker 7: Well, I'm saying, because I don't think they were trying
- 1:56:00Speaker 7: to rob the pa. I don't think the pizza was
- 1:56:05Speaker 7: the goal.
- 1:56:05Speaker 1: Yeah no, no, no, pizza guy was unaware. Yeah. No, I'm saying.
- 1:56:10Speaker 7: It used to be where we would it used to
- 1:56:12Speaker 7: be where people would order fake pizza just to steal
- 1:56:14Speaker 7: a pizza. But if I'm sending a pizza to your
- 1:56:16Speaker 7: house to see if you're there, then maybe I'm my
- 1:56:20Speaker 7: goal is to break into the home or to rob you.
- 1:56:26Speaker 7: And and is he in trouble for that?
- 1:56:30Speaker 1: No, no, no, they're trying to find the robbery.
- 1:56:32Speaker 3: They're just putting the case together of how all this
- 1:56:35Speaker 3: sound like a stand your ground? Well, you know, if
- 1:56:38Speaker 3: you and I don't think he shot at whoever he
- 1:56:42Speaker 3: shot at. He shot kind of just in the air. Yeah, okay,
- 1:56:46Speaker 3: the warning to get away in the store. But you know,
- 1:56:49Speaker 3: they have to do an investigation. And part of it
- 1:56:52Speaker 3: was the people ordered a pizza to try to see
- 1:56:55Speaker 3: if he was at home. So interesting case there, What
- 1:57:00Speaker 3: else do we have? Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson will
- 1:57:03Speaker 3: be guests. Appearing on TV sports shows during the bye
- 1:57:08Speaker 3: week for the Giants, so they will be in studio guests.
- 1:57:11Speaker 3: I guess they're getting a jump start on their second career.
- 1:57:14Speaker 1: Jamis was on yesterday.
- 1:57:16Speaker 3: Okay, so it was yesterday then that they were airing
- 1:57:19Speaker 3: Jamis and Russell. I can see Jamis. Never seen that
- 1:57:24Speaker 3: side of Russell not saying he doesn't have it.
- 1:57:27Speaker 1: I think I've seen flashes of it. You know who.
- 1:57:29Speaker 7: I'm impressed by Mark Ingram. Have you seen him at
- 1:57:33Speaker 7: the on Fox? He's on the broadcast desk, very personable,
- 1:57:39Speaker 7: very informative, doing a great job. And I thought that,
- 1:57:43Speaker 7: and he still looks kind of young enough to know,
- 1:57:45Speaker 7: why come you ain't still playing?
- 1:57:50Speaker 1: Well? He won a super Bowl there, didn't he? I
- 1:57:52Speaker 1: believe he did.
- 1:57:54Speaker 2: But the Saints when that Super Bowl team or no,
- 1:57:56Speaker 2: he wasn't there.
- 1:57:58Speaker 1: Yeah, he was on team lauk Ingram, do will have
- 1:58:01Speaker 1: a super Bowl?
- 1:58:02Speaker 2: He was not on that Saint He was not on
- 1:58:03Speaker 2: that Saints team, that one that was Reggie Bush.
- 1:58:07Speaker 3: Okay, okay, easy to get them thinxed up. Now I
- 1:58:11Speaker 3: knew Reggie was there. I thought they were splitting time.
- 1:58:13Speaker 3: I thought that's what I thought.
- 1:58:15Speaker 2: No, mark Ingram was in the same draft with Cam
- 1:58:18Speaker 2: Newton and Julio and then that was twenty eleven.
- 1:58:21Speaker 3: Yeah, that was twenty okay, gotcha. Daniel Jones, we talked
- 1:58:26Speaker 3: about his achilles. He's out for the Coats. Zach Ertz
- 1:58:29Speaker 3: a gruesome injury for him with the Commanders yesterday as well.
- 1:58:33Speaker 3: Looks like he will have a big decision at his
- 1:58:36Speaker 3: older age of trying to come back. Serena Williams, is
- 1:58:40Speaker 3: she on retiring.
- 1:58:42Speaker 1: Again or no? Or she said they were just joking.
- 1:58:46Speaker 2: I think she took a didn't she take like a
- 1:58:50Speaker 2: physical or something like that to get to get her
- 1:58:53Speaker 2: playing card. M Okay, she is not returning. Yeah, okay,
- 1:58:59Speaker 2: so she's not returning. People thought maybe they thought she was.
- 1:59:03Speaker 3: Georgia one thing and we'll talk about it on the
- 1:59:06Speaker 3: next show. Georgia, I know, is suing a young man
- 1:59:09Speaker 3: for defensive in Wilson what's his first name, Damon Wilson,
- 1:59:16Speaker 3: who transferred and they're seeking damages of his first of
- 1:59:23Speaker 3: its case and could actually set a precedent of three
- 1:59:27Speaker 3: hundred and thirty thousand dollars. They're saying they're trying to
- 1:59:32Speaker 3: slow down this, just get up and leave kind of
- 1:59:34Speaker 3: transfer thing. The University of Georgia is a big brand,
- 1:59:38Speaker 3: but they're headed the court to try to obtain three
- 1:59:41Speaker 3: hundred ninety thousand dollars in damages from a former standout
- 1:59:45Speaker 3: defensive end who transferred from the school after the sophomore
- 1:59:48Speaker 3: season and a potential president.
- 1:59:53Speaker 1: Case.
- 1:59:54Speaker 3: So we will see how that goes. We need that
- 1:59:57Speaker 3: money back. They want that money back. I don't think
- 2:00:00Speaker 3: they even have given him that much money.
- 2:00:04Speaker 2: They're saying that's the that's the investment.
- 2:00:08Speaker 3: And you think they only maybe had got gave him
- 2:00:11Speaker 3: fifty sixty thousand dollars, right.
- 2:00:13Speaker 7: But we invested so much other money into getting him
- 2:00:17Speaker 7: here and all of the other stuff that this is
- 2:00:19Speaker 7: the total bill of him stiffing us. We've seen people,
- 2:00:22Speaker 7: uh super getting left at the altar. So oh in
- 2:00:28Speaker 7: corporate they charged for the training.
- 2:00:30Speaker 8: They look at that also like that's a cost in
- 2:00:32Speaker 8: that before they make a decision to hire you.
- 2:00:34Speaker 1: So and we are in the ocean.
- 2:00:39Speaker 24: The truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 2:00:43Speaker 24: It's time to wrap things up on the Sports Junct
- 2:00:46Speaker 24: Show with Wayne Gandy.
- 2:00:51Speaker 2: When you decide an ocean, give us watch out testa
- 2:01:23Speaker 2: minute to.
- 2:01:23Speaker 3: Vin we'd like to thank you Killer cam Wow. We'd
- 2:01:28Speaker 3: like to thank you for tuning in to today's show,
- 2:01:30Speaker 3: any segment, any minute that you tuned in.
- 2:01:33Speaker 1: We appreciate it.
- 2:01:34Speaker 3: Bit Kenny Kamanchi, Greg Bad producer, thank you for your contributions.
- 2:01:38Speaker 3: If you missed any of today's show, you can go
- 2:01:40Speaker 3: to Apple Podcasts, Amazon podcast, Audible, Deezer, iHeartRadio, or Spotify
- 2:01:48Speaker 3: and catch today's show. Similar to Notre Dame, I'm gonna
- 2:01:52Speaker 3: go back a little bit because i didn't get my
- 2:01:55Speaker 3: chance the other day to throw former LA or excuse me,
- 2:02:02Speaker 3: current LSU head coach, former oh Miss head coach Lane
- 2:02:08Speaker 3: Kiffen in the ocean. Some of you don't know how
- 2:02:13Speaker 3: personable these coaches leaving in these times are. To me,
- 2:02:17Speaker 3: I had this kind of happen with the guy don't
- 2:02:19Speaker 3: mention for the falcons that left in the middle of
- 2:02:23Speaker 3: the night. Lane Kiffin drew up all this drama because
- 2:02:28Speaker 3: he loves attention. He plays and he coaches for the attention,
- 2:02:33Speaker 3: and then for the money, and then for whatever the
- 2:02:38Speaker 3: players turn out to be. So attention, then money, and
- 2:02:46Speaker 3: then whatever Big Kenny's grandson turns out to be.
- 2:02:51Speaker 1: To me, that's the wrong order. The NCAA they.
- 2:02:56Speaker 3: Need to put in guidelines tomorrow with how you pursue coaches,
- 2:03:03Speaker 3: similar to the NFL. You can't just come talk to
- 2:03:06Speaker 3: my coach. Why the season going on and if you
- 2:03:09Speaker 3: are Bowl eligible or CFP eligible, the season is still going.
- 2:03:15Speaker 3: If you want Lane, you have to wait the we're
- 2:03:18Speaker 3: completely finished with him. You blindsided these coaches on your
- 2:03:24Speaker 3: staff and these players. You sold me this dream to
- 2:03:27Speaker 3: come give you all this, and then as soon as
- 2:03:30Speaker 3: you could find a ticket to more fame, a more
- 2:03:34Speaker 3: lucrative contract, you took it. That's what you did, and
- 2:03:38Speaker 3: that's the temperament. Remember everybody didn't like Lane Kiffin three
- 2:03:42Speaker 3: years ago, and he showed you once again.
- 2:03:45Speaker 1: Why.
- 2:03:45Speaker 3: I'm not trying to kill Lane from making his money,
- 2:03:48Speaker 3: but I do know you love the spotlight. You'll make
- 2:03:51Speaker 3: every move that you ever make will be about trying
- 2:03:57Speaker 3: to get somebody to mention your name. Well, I'm mentioning it.
- 2:04:01Speaker 3: I think it was cowardly for you to leave this
- 2:04:05Speaker 3: team and basically hold them hostage until you was ready
- 2:04:14Speaker 3: to make your decision going to LSU, who's deferate Kenny
- 2:04:17Speaker 3: pointed that out.
- 2:04:18Speaker 1: They desperate to get back to their winning ways. I
- 2:04:21Speaker 1: hope you nothing but failure at LSU. And for that
- 2:04:29Speaker 1: land Cap.
- 2:04:30Speaker 5: Buck the plank.
- 2:04:41Speaker 1: Make it pro coaching, make it pro.
- 2:04:44Speaker 3: Because these coaches in these universities like No to Dame,
- 2:04:47Speaker 3: they're not teaching character. I don't get in. I go
- 2:04:52Speaker 3: home and I put my thumb in my mouth and complain.
- 2:04:55Speaker 3: Give me my rattle. That's what you're teaching these kids
- 2:05:01Speaker 3: from the Smallshok Show. We hope you have a good afternoon.
- 2:05:05Speaker 1: Peace,
