The House Judiciary Democrats’ 53 Page Trump/Epstein Report (Part 8) (10/29/26) · Beyond The Horizon

Speaker 1: What's up everyone and welcome to another episode of the
• 0:03
Speaker 1: Epstein Chronicles. In this episode, we're diving right back into
• 0:07
Speaker 1: the Democrats' report on Jeffrey Epstein and Donald Trump. In
• 0:11
Speaker 1: the realm of the absurd, Donald Trump repeatedly claimed that
• 0:14
Speaker 1: he never authored the lewd birthday note to Jeffrey Epstein
• 0:18
Speaker 1: in 2003, even suing the Wall Street Journal for $ 10
• 0:21
Speaker 1: billion for alleged defamation when it first reported on its existence.
• 0:27
Speaker 1: When this lawsuit was dismissed, By a federal judge in Florida,
• 0:30
Speaker 1: Trump amended his complaint and refiled it to try to
• 0:33
Speaker 1: maintain the ridiculous pretense that he was seriously contesting the
• 0:36
Speaker 1: fact that he wrote the note. When the letter was revealed,
• 0:40
Speaker 1: Trump claimed that he simply did not draw things. I
• 0:43
Speaker 1: never wrote a picture like that in my life, Trump
• 0:45
Speaker 1: said at one point, continuing, this is not me. This
• 0:49
Speaker 1: is a fake thing. It's a fake Wall Street Journal story. However,
• 0:53
Speaker 1: Trump did quite famously draw pictures and doodles, just like
• 0:57
Speaker 1: the one in the birthday note. In fact, Donald Trump
• 1:00
Speaker 1: wrote in a 2008 letter that he donated an autograph
• 1:05
Speaker 1: doodle every year to a different charity. For instance, the
• 1:08
Speaker 1: picture depicted below was drawn by Trump in 2005, just
• 1:12
Speaker 1: two years after the date of his birthday note, and
• 1:16
Speaker 1: then sold for several thousand dollars. And despite the White
• 1:19
Speaker 1: House claims to the contrary, the signature at the bottom
• 1:22
Speaker 1: of the birthday note also matches his signature on the
• 1:25
Speaker 1: drawing as well as the signature on other letters around
• 1:29
Speaker 1: that time. Trump has also repeatedly claimed that he does
• 1:34
Speaker 1: not have a relationship with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former British prince,
• 1:39
Speaker 1: who has been stripped of his royal titles due to
• 1:41
Speaker 1: his own involvement in Epstein's sex trafficking scheme. In December 2019,
• 1:46
Speaker 1: Trump said, I don't know Andrew, adding, I don't know him, no.
• 1:52
Speaker 1: This was false. Trump had not only had breakfast with
• 1:55
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew a few months earlier, but he also had
• 1:58
Speaker 1: been photographed with Prince Andrew at Mar-a-Lago with his then-girlfriend
• 2:02
Speaker 1: Melania in 2000. That same year, Trump and Prince Andrew
• 2:07
Speaker 1: both attended the Hookers and Pimps Halloween party in New
• 2:10
Speaker 1: York City, where Prince Andrew was accompanied by his close friend,
• 2:14
Speaker 1: Glenn Maxwell. At that time, Trump told People magazine that
• 2:18
Speaker 1: Prince Andrew was a lot of fun to be with.
• 2:21
Speaker 1: After King Charles stripped Prince Andrew of his royal titles,
• 2:24
Speaker 1: Trump expressed great sympathy, not for Prince Andrew's teen victims
• 2:28
Speaker 1: and their families, but for the royal family. It's a
• 2:31
Speaker 1: terrible thing that's happened to the family, he continued. That's
• 2:35
Speaker 1: been a tragic situation, and it's too bad. I mean,
• 2:38
Speaker 1: I feel badly for the family. When public scrutiny of
• 2:42
Speaker 1: the relationship between Trump and Epstein increased, including due to
• 2:46
Speaker 1: Maria Farmer's account, Stephen Chung, the White House communication director, responded,
• 2:51
Speaker 1: to reports of Trump oogling Farmer at Epstein's office by
• 2:54
Speaker 1: alleging the president was never in his office. This denial
• 2:58
Speaker 1: is overwhelmingly contradicted by a wide range of individuals, including
• 3:03
Speaker 1: several women who gave personal accounts of being present in
• 3:06
Speaker 1: Epstein's office with Trump in the room, Epstein's former assistant
• 3:10
Speaker 1: who witnessed the visits, and Epstein's brother Mark, who said
• 3:14
Speaker 1: that Jeffrey had told him that Trump visited him frequently.
• 3:18
Speaker 1: Donald Trump claims that he's been 100% exonerated by the
• 3:22
Speaker 1: Epstein files release. This too, as shown by evidence below,
• 3:26
Speaker 1: is a flat-out lie, and perhaps the most disprovable one,
• 3:29
Speaker 1: he's uttered about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. The documents
• 3:34
Speaker 1: made available to the public strongly indicate that Donald Trump
• 3:37
Speaker 1: may have been involved in some of the crimes that
• 3:40
Speaker 1: Epstein possessed leverage over Trump due to his involvement. The
• 3:44
Speaker 1: Epstein files released by the DOJ do not include any
• 3:47
Speaker 1: communication directly with Donald Trump, which is unsurprising for several reasons. First,
• 3:53
Speaker 1: Trump's own DOJ has unilaterally decided to withhold millions of
• 3:57
Speaker 1: pages of the Epstein files, with the likely dominant motive,
• 4:01
Speaker 1: among others, being protection of Donald Trump. Second, Trump famously
• 4:05
Speaker 1: avoids email and text messages in general. Third, most reports,
• 4:09
Speaker 1: including most recently former Bill Clinton's testimony before the House
• 4:13
Speaker 1: Oversight Committee, indicate that Epstein and Trump had a falling
• 4:16
Speaker 1: out over their rival bids for a Palm Beach mansion
• 4:19
Speaker 1: in 2004, meaning Epstein's emails, which almost certainly date from
• 4:24
Speaker 1: after that time, reflect a time period after he and
• 4:28
Speaker 1: Donald Trump were close friends. Despite all of this, the
• 4:31
Speaker 1: available records include evidence which directly suggests that Donald Trump
• 4:35
Speaker 1: knew and was complicit in Jeffrey Epstein's crimes. I'm the
• 4:40
Speaker 1: one able to take him down. In a text message
• 4:43
Speaker 1: sent on December 3rd, 2018, Epstein messaged former girlfriend Eva
• 4:47
Speaker 1: Dubin about how individuals were trying to attack Trump by
• 4:50
Speaker 1: focusing on his relationship with Epstein. Epstein responded, yes, thanks,
• 4:55
Speaker 1: it's wild, because I'm the one able to take him down.
• 4:58
Speaker 1: Dubin responded with a laughing emoji. Knew about the girls.
• 5:03
Speaker 1: In a 2019 email to journalist Michael Wolff, Epstein stated
• 5:06
Speaker 1: that Trump knew about the girls and had asked Elaine
• 5:10
Speaker 1: Maxwell to stop. potentially referencing his request to Maxwell to
• 5:14
Speaker 1: stop her known practice of recruiting young women from Mar-a-Lago
• 5:17
Speaker 1: staff to go work in the Epstein network. The dog
• 5:21
Speaker 1: has embarked. In a 2011 email to Maxwell, Epstein noted
• 5:26
Speaker 1: that Trump had spent hours at his house with Virginia Roberts,
• 5:30
Speaker 1: the soon-to-be famous trafficking victim and survivor, and called Donald
• 5:34
Speaker 1: Trump the dog that has embarked. Borrowed from a classic
• 5:38
Speaker 1: Sherlock Holmes story, The Dog Has Embarked, Trope refers to
• 5:42
Speaker 1: a significant clue in a noticeable or unusual silence. The
• 5:47
Speaker 1: phrase as used here is cryptic, but may suggest Epstein's
• 5:50
Speaker 1: belief that Trump had not yet spoken about Epstein to
• 5:53
Speaker 1: law enforcement. Whatever precisely he was saying, this email clearly
• 5:57
Speaker 1: indicates that Epstein strongly believed Trump possessed relevant information about
• 6:02
Speaker 1: Epstein's criminal activities. These represent only a subset of all
• 6:06
Speaker 1: the incriminating evidence implicating Donald Trump in the portion of
• 6:10
Speaker 1: the Epstein files released by DOJ. As discussed above, multiple
• 6:14
Speaker 1: witnesses' interviews with FBI released as part of the drop
• 6:18
Speaker 1: refer to Trump's involvement, including several credible allegations that he
• 6:22
Speaker 1: sexually assaulted women, that Ghislaine Maxwell introduced survivors to him
• 6:26
Speaker 1: for the purpose of establishing a sexual relationship, and that
• 6:30
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein introduced Donald Trump to Melania Trump. These files
• 6:35
Speaker 1: are seriously incriminating, which, to state the obvious, is the
• 6:38
Speaker 1: opposite of exonerating. Donald Trump has lied time and time
• 6:43
Speaker 1: again about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein. These lies are
• 6:46
Speaker 1: clearly irrelevant and go directly to Trump's guilt and state
• 6:49
Speaker 1: of mind. In federal court, false exculpatory statements may be
• 6:53
Speaker 1: considered as evidence of consciousness of guilt. United States v. Perkins,
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: 937 F. 2d, 1397, 9th Circuit, 1991. United States v. Sincera, 34F. 3D, 83, 89,
• 7:08
Speaker 1: 2nd Circuit, 1994. Evidence of misrepresentation admissible to demonstrate knowledge
• 7:15
Speaker 1: or intent to engage in criminal activity. United States v. Johnson, 46F. 3D, 1166, D.C. Circuit, 95.
• 7:25
Speaker 1: Untruthful statement made to law enforcement was probative of consciousness
• 7:29
Speaker 1: of guilt. If Trump were not potentially implicated with Epstein's crimes,
• 7:33
Speaker 1: he would have no obvious reason to lie about his
• 7:35
Speaker 1: knowledge of them. While Trump is admittedly no stranger to
• 7:40
Speaker 1: reflexive falsehoods and exaggerations, these repeated lies have served a
• 7:45
Speaker 1: specific tactical purpose. They distanced Trump from Jeffrey Epstein and
• 7:49
Speaker 1: his crimes, in spite of the fact that he partied
• 7:52
Speaker 1: with Epstein, flew on the private plane by multiple accounts,
• 7:55
Speaker 1: considered him one of his best friends, and joked about
• 7:58
Speaker 1: Epstein's special fondness for women on the younger side. The
• 8:03
Speaker 1: bottom line. There's more than sufficient evidence to launch a
• 8:06
Speaker 1: criminal investigation. Attorney General Blanch claims that neither DOJ nor
• 8:11
Speaker 1: FBI possess sufficient evidence to support further investigation of Epstein's accomplices, enablers,
• 8:17
Speaker 1: and co-conspirators. That is an absurd statement. The DOJ and
• 8:22
Speaker 1: FBI standard for initiating a formal investigation is is whether
• 8:26
Speaker 1: there is existence of evidence that a crime may have occurred.
• 8:31
Speaker 1: There is more than enough evidence that many individuals other
• 8:34
Speaker 1: than Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell may have committed a crime.
• 8:37
Speaker 1: This includes Donald Trump. To cover up this inconvenient truth,
• 8:41
Speaker 1: DOJ has actively obstructed the Epstein investigation into any co-conspirators
• 8:47
Speaker 1: attempted to prevent the release of the Epstein files and
• 8:51
Speaker 1: then released an incomplete and heavily redacted set to the public.
• 8:55
Speaker 1: all while withholding key information about Trump in the process.
• 8:59
Speaker 1: As a result, this investigation has given a pass to
• 9:02
Speaker 1: all the individuals who took part in this decade-long, multi-billion
• 9:06
Speaker 1: dollar international sex trafficking ring that victimized over 1,000 women
• 9:11
Speaker 1: and girls. Those responsible for these crimes must be investigated
• 9:16
Speaker 1: and prosecuted. In 2003, Congress amended U.S. Code 18 Section
• 9:19
Speaker 1: 3283 to provide... No statute of limitations that would otherwise
• 9:26
Speaker 1: preclude prosecution for an offense involving the sexual or physical
• 9:29
Speaker 1: abuse or kidnapping of a child under the age of
• 9:33
Speaker 1: 18 shall preclude such prosecution during the life of the child.
• 9:38
Speaker 1: As Maxwell was prosecuted under this statute, so too others
• 9:42
Speaker 1: could be. There are structural barriers to investigating Trump, not
• 9:47
Speaker 1: the least being DOJ's guidance forbidding bringing criminal charges against
• 9:51
Speaker 1: a sitting president. However, under the administration, DOJ has shut
• 9:56
Speaker 1: down ongoing investigations into all potential Epstein accomplices and co-conspirators,
• 10:01
Speaker 1: and has obstructed efforts by state and foreign prosecutors to
• 10:05
Speaker 1: conduct their own investigation and hold these individuals accountable. DOJ
• 10:10
Speaker 1: has stonewalled an investigation in New Mexico, refusing to provide
• 10:15
Speaker 1: state prosecutors with access to key evidence relating to Zorro Ranch. Similarly,
• 10:20
Speaker 1: when British law enforcement lodged a request for mutual assistance
• 10:24
Speaker 1: for evidence of Epstein's ties to a senior British politician,
• 10:28
Speaker 1: DOJ refused to hand over relevant evidence, putting the UK's
• 10:31
Speaker 1: investigation at risk of collapse. Given the administration's clear pattern
• 10:37
Speaker 1: of protecting Trump rather than seeking justice for Epstein's survivors,
• 10:41
Speaker 1: it's clear that Trump, partisan appointees, can't be trusted to
• 10:45
Speaker 1: investigate and prosecute any of Epstein's co-conspirators or share evidence
• 10:49
Speaker 1: with other jurisdictions working to do so. At a minimum,
• 10:53
Speaker 1: DOJ and FBI's efforts to protect Trump rather than pursue
• 10:57
Speaker 1: justice require the appointment of an independent special counsel under
• 11:01
Speaker 1: 28 CFR section 600.1, which requires the Attorney General to
• 11:06
Speaker 1: do so in matters where DOJ has a conflict of
• 11:09
Speaker 1: interest or presents other extraordinary circumstances. The special counsel should
• 11:15
Speaker 1: be tasked with investigating not only the President, as previous
• 11:18
Speaker 1: independent counsels from Archibald Cox to Robert Herr have impartially
• 11:23
Speaker 1: done when the president's conduct comes under criminal suspicion, but
• 11:26
Speaker 1: all of Epstein's potential accomplices and co-conspirators. DOJ's decision to
• 11:32
Speaker 1: shield the president at all costs has shielded all of
• 11:35
Speaker 1: those who perpetuated or enabled this sex trafficking ring. This
• 11:40
Speaker 1: special counsel must also be tasked with ensuring all relevant
• 11:43
Speaker 1: evidence is shared with other jurisdictions, like New Mexico and
• 11:47
Speaker 1: and the United Kingdom that are pursuing justice, conducting criminal
• 11:51
Speaker 1: investigations of Epstein's potential accomplices and co-conspirators, and holding these
• 11:56
Speaker 1: individuals to account in criminal proceedings. Given the DOJ and
• 12:01
Speaker 1: FBI's abdication of their law enforcement duties and prosecutorial ethics,
• 12:05
Speaker 1: there's little reason to believe the administration will take even
• 12:08
Speaker 1: this minimal step. Accordingly, Congress must continue to use its
• 12:12
Speaker 1: legislative and oversight power to pursue justice for survivors and
• 12:17
Speaker 1: bring an end to the Trump administration's shameful, bureaucratic, and
• 12:21
Speaker 1: political cover-up. Alright folks, well there it is. That's what
• 12:25
Speaker 1: the Democrats have to say. What do you all think?
• 12:28
Speaker 1: Shoot me some emails and let me know. All the
• 12:32
Speaker 1: information that goes with this episode can be found in
• 12:35
