- 0:19Speaker 1: All right. Let me see if I can explain this
- 0:21Speaker 1: single most complicated thing I've ever been involved in in
- 0:23Speaker 1: my life. Confusing, complicated. But yet you can call and
- 0:26Speaker 1: speak to Wayne Root. OK, if you can just figure
- 0:28Speaker 1: out what I'm saying. OK, right now you're either watching
- 0:31Speaker 1: me live on my podcast or you're listening to my
- 0:34Speaker 1: national radio show. And you say, why can't we have
- 0:37Speaker 1: call-ins on the podcast? Why can't we have call-ins on
- 0:40Speaker 1: the radio show? Well, now you kind of can. If
- 0:43Speaker 1: you just take this phone number down, 800-347-ROOT, 800-347-ROOT. At
- 0:50Speaker 1: 6 o'clock Eastern, 3 o'clock Pacific for one hour, I'm
- 0:54Speaker 1: taking calls every day, every weekday during that hour at
- 0:59Speaker 1: 3 o'clock Pacific, 6 o'clock East Coast time, 1-800-347-ROOT. And
- 1:05Speaker 1: that call is while I'm taping my national TV show,
- 1:09Speaker 1: America Speaks. Then you can watch it at 12 midnight
- 1:13Speaker 1: East Coast, 9 p.m. Pacific. You can watch yourself talking
- 1:16Speaker 1: to Wayne or watch your voicemail. And me responding to
- 1:19Speaker 1: your voicemail because you can leave a voicemail 24 hours
- 1:22Speaker 1: a day, seven days a week at that same number, 800-347-ROOT.
- 1:26Speaker 1: So forget about everything else. Forget about what time you're
- 1:28Speaker 1: watching the podcast. Forget about what time you're listening to
- 1:31Speaker 1: this radio show.
- 1:33Speaker 2: Forget about all that.
- 1:34Speaker 1: The only thing that matters is at 6 o'clock Eastern,
- 1:36Speaker 1: 3 o'clock Pacific, you can call Wayne Root and talk
- 1:40Speaker 1: to me at 800-347-ROOT. 800-347-ROOT. We will pick up. We
- 1:43Speaker 1: will talk right on the air on my national TV
- 1:46Speaker 1: show and have fun. 800-347-ROOT at 6 o'clock Eastern, 3
- 1:51Speaker 1: o'clock Pacific, every weekday. That's the story. Okay? Hopefully you
- 1:55Speaker 1: understand that. I kept it as simple as I can.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Nicky Ballou is my guest. I'll be with him in
- 2:01Speaker 1: just a second. I'll mention this at the end of
- 2:04Speaker 1: the segment. Let me get right to Nicky. Nikki is
- 2:09Speaker 1: an Ontario, Canada resident. He is of Iranian descent. He's
- 2:13Speaker 1: my co-author of my book, The Great Patriot Protest and
- 2:16Speaker 1: Boycott Book and The Great Patriot Bicot Book. And the
- 2:19Speaker 1: new one, How Illegal Immigrants Have Made America Great, which
- 2:23Speaker 1: is 100 blank pages. It's a funny book for any
- 2:26Speaker 1: conservative to give to their friends. Nikki Ballou is Iranian.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I thought it was important to speak to him when
- 2:32Speaker 1: the Iran war started and when the Iran war was ongoing.
- 2:36Speaker 1: And when the Iran war was almost ending and now
- 2:38Speaker 1: it's supposedly over and we should talk a little bit
- 2:41Speaker 1: about it. And I'm not sure if we're going to
- 2:42Speaker 1: agree on this one, because I'm sure what Nikki I'm
- 2:46Speaker 1: sure I know what Nikki wants. He wanted us to
- 2:47Speaker 1: finish the job and he wanted us to free the
- 2:50Speaker 1: Iranian people and to change the regime. And it appears
- 2:53Speaker 1: none of that is going to happen now. Because my
- 2:56Speaker 1: guess is, and I know President Trump better than anyone
- 2:58Speaker 1: in the world, all he cares about is the stock
- 3:00Speaker 1: market going up, gold going up, Bitcoin going up, gas
- 3:03Speaker 1: going down, inflation going down, groceries going down, and the
- 3:06Speaker 1: economy going up and exploding. And he knew none of
- 3:10Speaker 1: that could happen if we finished the job and spent another...
- 3:12Speaker 1: six months in Iran, and he would lose the midterms.
- 3:15Speaker 1: So he quit early. Basically, I know that's, you know,
- 3:18Speaker 1: Trump wouldn't like me saying this, but I believe he
- 3:20Speaker 1: basically walked away and got sick of the whole thing
- 3:22Speaker 1: because the American people are not with him at all
- 3:25Speaker 1: and didn't want this war. And he walked away from
- 3:27Speaker 1: it and he got the best deal he could get.
- 3:29Speaker 1: And maybe he can go back after the midterms and
- 3:30Speaker 1: go back in again. But for now, the Iran war
- 3:33Speaker 1: is over, at least as far as President Trump is concerned.
- 3:37Speaker 1: And the straightforward moves is open and we're free to
- 3:40Speaker 1: to do business and and, you know, ship oil again.
- 3:42Speaker 1: And and that's the story. Now, Nikki, I'm sure you
- 3:45Speaker 1: don't want that to happen. You wanted him to finish
- 3:47Speaker 1: the job. And I don't blame you, but it's just
- 3:50Speaker 1: not going to happen.
- 3:52Speaker 3: No, it's not going to happen.
- 3:53Speaker 4: The deal's done. And President Trump has said. as you say,
- 3:59Speaker 4: decided that it's more important to preserve the support of
- 4:05Speaker 4: the public.
- 4:06Speaker 3: It's more important to ensure— Win the midterms. Win the midterms. Well,
- 4:11Speaker 3: I understand all that, and I understand his thinking.
- 4:14Speaker 4: I just think it's unfortunately short-sighted, because I'm going to
- 4:17Speaker 4: tell you there's a few reasons.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Why it's short-sighted.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Wayne, these mullahs hate America and the West. That is
- 4:24Speaker 4: without a doubt, without question, unquestionably true. Secondly, their stated
- 4:29Speaker 4: goal is to turn the world into a one-world Islamic caliphate.
- 4:33Speaker 4: They want this to happen. They will lie, cheat, and
- 4:37Speaker 4: steal in order to preserve themselves so they can live
- 4:41Speaker 4: to fight another day. And their strategy right now is
- 4:44Speaker 4: called wait out Donald Trump. And what they're going to
- 4:47Speaker 4: do right now is they're going to sign a deal.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Because they know the midterms are coming, right? They know it, too.
- 4:52Speaker 3: They totally know.
- 4:53Speaker 4: So they did this because they know it's going to
- 4:56Speaker 4: get them some breathing room.
- 4:57Speaker 3: And they're going to wait Trump out. They're going to
- 4:59Speaker 3: wait until Trump is out of office. They're going to
- 5:01Speaker 3: play nice until Trump is out of office.
- 5:03Speaker 5: Right.
- 5:04Speaker 4: Then, my friend, here's what's going to happen, especially if
- 5:06Speaker 4: a Democrat's elected. They're going to start going back to
- 5:09Speaker 4: their old ways. They're going to start going after nuclear weapons.
- 5:12Speaker 4: They're going to start funding proxies, terrorist proxies in the
- 5:16Speaker 4: Middle East, and they're going to start killing people. And
- 5:18Speaker 4: by the way, throughout this whole time, They're going to
- 5:21Speaker 4: clamp down even harder on the people of Iran. There
- 5:23Speaker 4: were 100,000 people killed in January of 2026.
- 5:26Speaker 3: 100,000? 100,000 were killed. 100,000 people were killed by the
- 5:33Speaker 3: regime in protest.
- 5:35Speaker 4: And now when the pressure is off of them from
- 5:39Speaker 4: the United States military.
- 5:40Speaker 3: They're going to go back.
- 5:40Speaker 1: They'll start killing again.
- 5:42Speaker 3: They're going to start killing more people.
- 5:44Speaker 4: And the truth of the matter is these guys are
- 5:46Speaker 4: bad guys. You're not going to be able to do
- 5:49Speaker 4: a deal with them because they're not honest brokers, not
- 5:51Speaker 4: a deal that's going to last. And as soon as
- 5:54Speaker 4: Donald Trump is gone from the political scene, you're going
- 5:57Speaker 4: to see them come back. The only thing that can
- 6:00Speaker 4: stop this is if some of the people in the
- 6:05Speaker 4: regime decide that they don't want to wait until Donald
- 6:08Speaker 4: Trump goes and they start playing some shenanigans again.
- 6:11Speaker 3: I knew you were going to say that.
- 6:12Speaker 1: And that may get us back in.
- 6:13Speaker 6: Yes.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Yeah, especially if they do this after the midterms. I
- 6:17Speaker 4: think at that point, Trump's going to go, screw it.
- 6:19Speaker 4: The midterms are over. Let's do what we got to do.
- 6:22Speaker 4: But for now, I don't think he's lost interest. I
- 6:25Speaker 4: think he's made a political calculation that going into Iran
- 6:28Speaker 4: and finishing the job It's going to cost me politically,
- 6:31Speaker 4: and I.
- 6:33Speaker 3: Can't live with that.
- 6:35Speaker 1: You can't argue with that.
- 6:37Speaker 4: I'm not arguing with his reasoning or his understanding of
- 6:41Speaker 4: what the.
- 6:42Speaker 3: Current political scene is.
- 6:43Speaker 4: But I'll just tell you, Wayne, if I were one
- 6:46Speaker 4: of the president's advisors, when he went into Iran, I
- 6:49Speaker 4: would have said, Mr. President, you made a good initial speech,
- 6:53Speaker 4: but if you're going to have the people behind you,
- 6:55Speaker 4: which I believe you're going to need. You're going to
- 6:57Speaker 4: need to do more than just do this one initial speech.
- 6:59Speaker 4: You're going to need to continuously educate the people on
- 7:02Speaker 4: why this is important. I would have written a speech
- 7:04Speaker 4: for him, and I would have had this speech have
- 7:06Speaker 4: a bit of a historical backdrop.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I would talk about how the Mullahs got into power.
- 7:11Speaker 4: The United States, under the awful presidency of Jimmy Carter,
- 7:17Speaker 4: basically decided that they were no longer going to support
- 7:20Speaker 4: America's longtime ally in the region, which is the Shah
- 7:24Speaker 4: of Iraq.
- 7:25Speaker 1: The Shah, yeah.
- 7:25Speaker 3: And they were going to— they were.
- 7:27Speaker 4: Going after what they called the religious belt of people
- 7:30Speaker 4: to oppose Soviet communism.
- 7:32Speaker 3: And they basically tacitly started supporting Khomeini. And as a result,
- 7:36Speaker 3: the Shah was overthrown. Khomeini came in.
- 7:40Speaker 4: And then shortly after that, Khomeini bit the hand that
- 7:42Speaker 4: fed him, as it were, and took the American embassy
- 7:46Speaker 4: workers hostage and started funding every terrorist proxy in the regime.
- 7:52Speaker 3: And they declared war on the United States.
- 7:55Speaker 4: In February of 1979. That war has been ongoing. Trump,
- 8:00Speaker 4: for a while, said, OK, we're going to fight back.
- 8:02Speaker 4: We're going to knock you down. But right now, he said,
- 8:05Speaker 4: you know what? I attacked these guys. I destroyed their military.
- 8:09Speaker 4: We're going to make sure they don't do nukes, at
- 8:11Speaker 4: least for the next couple of years, and then it's
- 8:12Speaker 4: somebody else's problem. But if he'd have stuck with it
- 8:15Speaker 4: and he'd explained to people what had happened, and he said, look,
- 8:17Speaker 4: the reason the Iranian people are being imprisoned by these folks,
- 8:20Speaker 4: and these are the people that have caused all the
- 8:23Speaker 4: radical Islamic terrorism in the world, is because the United
- 8:26Speaker 4: States let this happen. We have a moral obligation to
- 8:30Speaker 4: stop this to the Iranian people somewhat, but to the
- 8:32Speaker 4: American people, because if we don't stop this now— These
- 8:36Speaker 4: guys are going to keep doing this until they get
- 8:38Speaker 4: nuclear weapons and they can attack the United States, and
- 8:40Speaker 4: they're going to keep killing Americans and American allies. Until
- 8:43Speaker 4: they are overthrown.
- 8:45Speaker 1: And that's the truth. Listen, I get it. Everything you're
- 8:49Speaker 1: saying is true. But listen, here's my problem. Number one,
- 8:52Speaker 1: Trump never had a single fireside chat. Not one with
- 8:56Speaker 1: the American people to explain the war. Not one. So
- 8:59Speaker 1: he could have explained all that, but he never did.
- 9:01Speaker 1: But I do think almost every Republican knows everything you
- 9:04Speaker 1: just said, because I've said it on this show a
- 9:06Speaker 1: thousand times. They know. I've said it. You've said it.
- 9:10Speaker 1: They know. But all the other people who aren't Republicans,
- 9:13Speaker 1: independents and Democrats, outnumber Republicans, and they don't care. They
- 9:18Speaker 1: don't want war. They don't want their kids going to war.
- 9:22Speaker 1: They don't want higher gas prices. They don't want higher
- 9:24Speaker 1: grocery prices. They don't want inflation. And so it's just,
- 9:29Speaker 1: you know, it's like the Vietnam War. We should have
- 9:31Speaker 1: finished that one, too, but it was never in the cards.
- 9:35Speaker 1: There was no way we were ever going to finish
- 9:37Speaker 1: it after 10 long years. What's the difference between Vietnam
- 9:40Speaker 1: and now? Ten years and the American people were sick
- 9:43Speaker 1: of it and 60,000 Americans dead. They were sick of
- 9:46Speaker 1: it and we had to get out. Now, our attention
- 9:49Speaker 1: span is so short.
- 9:51Speaker 4: You need to send a single American with boots on
- 9:54Speaker 4: the ground. What you need to do is have these
- 9:56Speaker 4: fireside chats and you need to drop weapons to the
- 9:58Speaker 4: Iranian people and let them be.
- 10:00Speaker 3: The boots on the ground.
- 10:01Speaker 1: And they could have kept bombing too.
- 10:03Speaker 4: And keep bombing. And could have kept bombing. And then
- 10:06Speaker 4: have some good fireside chats. The Republicans are mostly with Trump,
- 10:10Speaker 4: but not all with Trump. Some of them went against him.
- 10:12Speaker 4: The independents are persuadables, man. They could have used some
- 10:16Speaker 4: good fireside chats to get it done. Look, it's water
- 10:18Speaker 4: on the bridge.
- 10:19Speaker 3: It's done. I'm not one of these people who's going
- 10:21Speaker 3: to attack President Trump.
- 10:22Speaker 1: And I appreciate that.
- 10:24Speaker 3: I appreciate that.
- 10:24Speaker 4: And I think what he did is good. And I
- 10:26Speaker 4: think the fact that he's degraded the mullahs' abilities.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Is in the long run a really good thing.
- 10:32Speaker 4: I'm just— my concern, Wayne, and why I wanted to come
- 10:35Speaker 4: on your show today is— I want to tell the president,
- 10:39Speaker 4: because I know the president watches your show and I
- 10:41Speaker 4: know he listens to what you have to say.
- 10:43Speaker 3: I want to tell him, look, Mr.
- 10:45Speaker 4: President, this may make sense in the short term, but
- 10:48Speaker 4: in the long term, this makes no sense. In the
- 10:50Speaker 4: long term, you're going to have to deal with these people.
- 10:52Speaker 4: If you don't deal with these people, they'll find a
- 10:54Speaker 4: way to deal with America once you're gone.
- 10:57Speaker 1: But you don't want to see their realities? The sad
- 10:59Speaker 1: reality is he may never have to deal with them again.
- 11:02Speaker 1: It's only after he's gone. And his answer may be,
- 11:04Speaker 1: I don't care. Leave it to the next guy. Because
- 11:08Speaker 1: the inflation was so bad under Biden. The gas price
- 11:11Speaker 1: under Biden. I want to remind everyone, the grocery price
- 11:13Speaker 1: under Biden. Everything was a nightmare under Biden. And the
- 11:16Speaker 1: American people have already forgotten. They have short memories. And
- 11:19Speaker 1: now they're blaming Trump for those same prices that were
- 11:22Speaker 1: all Biden's fault. And during the Iran war, they went
- 11:25Speaker 1: up even a little bit more or they didn't go
- 11:27Speaker 1: down as much as people would like. And people blame Trump.
- 11:29Speaker 1: And he has to do something in the short time
- 11:32Speaker 1: between now and the midterms to get all those prices
- 11:34Speaker 1: down again so he can take credit. So it just
- 11:37Speaker 1: wasn't meant to be, Nicky. And I feel horrible for
- 11:40Speaker 1: the Iranian people because you and I know that Trump
- 11:42Speaker 1: told them, get ready, we're coming to save you. And
- 11:45Speaker 1: he didn't save them. And now they're going to get killed.
- 11:49Speaker 1: And the United States does this all the time. Look
- 11:51Speaker 1: at Afghanistan. They let all their friends die after 20 years.
- 11:55Speaker 1: You know, you could even stick, America could stick with
- 11:56Speaker 1: you for 15, 20 years and still you're going to
- 11:59Speaker 1: get killed in the end. In the end, the lesson
- 12:01Speaker 1: everyone's learning is America is never there long-term to be
- 12:04Speaker 1: your friend. And if you make them your friend, you
- 12:07Speaker 1: will get killed and your whole family will get killed
- 12:09Speaker 1: somewhere in the future. So it's a it's a sad lesson.
- 12:12Speaker 1: And the American people have, you know, you never let
- 12:15Speaker 1: me finish one point. I got to get in. So
- 12:17Speaker 1: in Vietnam, it took 10 years for the American people
- 12:20Speaker 1: to truly sour and 60,000 dead. And they truly soured
- 12:24Speaker 1: and we had to get out because finishing the job
- 12:26Speaker 1: would not be acceptable to the American people. Fast forward
- 12:29Speaker 1: all these decades later. Society is so fast now, Nicky.
- 12:33Speaker 1: And people have such short attention spans that it took
- 12:36Speaker 1: a matter of weeks to accomplish the same thing as
- 12:40Speaker 1: Vietnam took 10 years. 13 guys died versus, what is it, 70,000
- 12:45Speaker 1: died in Vietnam, 69,000? 13 people died. 13 American soldiers died.
- 12:50Speaker 1: That's it. And the American people already gave up on
- 12:52Speaker 1: the war. So, you know, a little inflation, a little
- 12:55Speaker 1: pain at the pump, and they gave up on the war.
- 12:57Speaker 1: It didn't take 10 years anymore. It took five minutes.
- 13:01Speaker 3: I pray to God. That the American people don't live
- 13:05Speaker 3: to regret this.
- 13:06Speaker 4: I pray to God that there isn't some crazy Islamic
- 13:09Speaker 4: terrorist who lands on American shores with a suitcase nuke or.
- 13:13Speaker 3: Other nuclear weapon or other weapon.
- 13:15Speaker 4: Of mass destruction and blows it up in a major
- 13:19Speaker 4: American city.
- 13:20Speaker 3: I pray to God that doesn't happen.
- 13:21Speaker 4: Because at that point, the cost to the American people
- 13:24Speaker 4: will be high. And believe me, Wayne. These bastards mean
- 13:28Speaker 4: to do that. They haven't given up on.
- 13:31Speaker 3: That as a dream. They are straight up bad and
- 13:34Speaker 3: evil people.
- 13:35Speaker 1: You keep bringing up the United States, but I think,
- 13:37Speaker 1: you know, yes, they hate the United States. Yes, they
- 13:39Speaker 1: want to conquer the United States. Yes, they want to
- 13:41Speaker 1: bomb the United States. Yes, they'd like to nuke the
- 13:43Speaker 1: United States. Yes, they could set off a dirty bomb
- 13:45Speaker 1: in the United States. But certainly it's a lot easier
- 13:48Speaker 1: to do all of that to Israel than it is
- 13:50Speaker 1: to come all the way to the United States. So
- 13:52Speaker 1: Israel's the one who has to face this on a
- 13:54Speaker 1: daily basis, and they're one of our best friends in
- 13:56Speaker 1: the world, if not our best friend. And they're now
- 13:59Speaker 1: left in the lurch. And Trump is making lousy comments
- 14:02Speaker 1: about Netanyahu. And he's saying that Netanyahu has to stop
- 14:05Speaker 1: bombing Beirut and has to stop attacking, you know, people
- 14:09Speaker 1: that are attacking him and the Israeli people. And it's
- 14:13Speaker 1: not a good situation. But I get why Trump is
- 14:15Speaker 1: saying and doing what he is, because the American people
- 14:18Speaker 1: don't even care about Israel anymore. They don't care about Israel.
- 14:20Speaker 1: They don't care about Iran. They care about America. And
- 14:23Speaker 1: America just in their minds has nothing to do with
- 14:27Speaker 1: all these countries thousands of miles away in the Middle East.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Let them worry about their own problems. So Trump, for
- 14:32Speaker 1: his own political survival, has decided to let the American
- 14:36Speaker 1: people take it.
- 14:38Speaker 3: I get it. And I understand it. And like I said,
- 14:42Speaker 3: it's reality. It's what's happening.
- 14:44Speaker 4: And I hope that it's the long-term implications of this
- 14:47Speaker 4: for the United States and the American people are not
- 14:50Speaker 4: what I suspect they could end up being.
- 14:53Speaker 3: They're going to attack Israel. You're right.
- 14:55Speaker 4: But you see, here's the difference between Israel and the
- 14:58Speaker 4: United States. The Israeli people are solidly behind the Israeli government.
- 15:01Speaker 4: And they will support the Israeli government in doing whatever
- 15:03Speaker 4: it takes to protect Israel and the people of Israel.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Right, but see, the Israeli government, but Trump made a comment,
- 15:09Speaker 1: and even though it's rude, it's kind of true. I mean,
- 15:10Speaker 1: everything Trump says is rude, but true. He said, and
- 15:13Speaker 1: I quote, Bibi should shut the hell up because without me,
- 15:18Speaker 1: there is no Israel. That's what he said. Without me,
- 15:21Speaker 1: there is no Israel. They should understand I am the
- 15:23Speaker 1: reason there's an Israel today still existing. Because if a
- 15:25Speaker 1: Democrat got elected, he's trying to say, and he's right.
- 15:28Speaker 1: He is basically right. So the problem is that if
- 15:32Speaker 1: Israel goes their own way and goes away separate, takes
- 15:36Speaker 1: the lonely road without America, they're a little country. There's
- 15:39Speaker 1: no way they could fight 300 million enemies around them,
- 15:41Speaker 1: let alone Iran. And they're never going to make it
- 15:45Speaker 1: by themselves. They need America to make it. Netanyahu has
- 15:48Speaker 1: no choice but to be nice to Trump and shut
- 15:51Speaker 1: up and just play the pet friend. You know, you
- 15:53Speaker 1: play my dog Bubba for now. Pet me and just
- 15:56Speaker 1: move on. Because if Netanyahu picks a fight with Trump,
- 15:59Speaker 1: Trump can fight with Netanyahu, but Netanyahu can't fight back.
- 16:02Speaker 1: If he fights back, Trump will tell him to F
- 16:05Speaker 1: off and then Israel's on its own.
- 16:07Speaker 3: No, and he won't.
- 16:08Speaker 4: But I'm just telling you, if Israel suspects that they're
- 16:11Speaker 4: going to take a nuclear hit, they're not going to
- 16:14Speaker 4: stand there and just sit down and take it.
- 16:15Speaker 6: Agreed.
- 16:16Speaker 3: They won't. It's a sad situation.
- 16:19Speaker 1: I get it.
- 16:20Speaker 4: And I also think I also think in addition to Israel,
- 16:23Speaker 4: the the Islamists in the Middle East are planning on
- 16:27Speaker 4: attacking some major European cities.
- 16:29Speaker 3: They're going to do that.
- 16:30Speaker 4: And then once they've done that a couple of times,
- 16:32Speaker 4: because it's easier to attack a European city than it
- 16:34Speaker 4: is to attack.
- 16:35Speaker 3: An Israeli city. Let's face it.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Right.
- 16:37Speaker 3: Much easier. So they're going to do that first. Once
- 16:40Speaker 3: they've done a couple of those.
- 16:41Speaker 4: Then if there's not a strong pushback against them, then
- 16:44Speaker 4: they're going to try and come into the United States,
- 16:46Speaker 4: especially with a Democratic administration. If the American people in
- 16:50Speaker 4: the next 20 years elect another Democrat to the White House,
- 16:53Speaker 4: you are going to see, in my opinion, a major
- 16:57Speaker 4: weapon of mass destruction event in the North American homeland.
- 17:01Speaker 3: That's what I believe will happen.
- 17:02Speaker 1: Heck, Nicky, there was almost a major mass death event
- 17:05Speaker 1: at the UFC 250 fight just a couple days ago
- 17:08Speaker 1: on the White House lawn. You know, they were planning
- 17:10Speaker 1: and they were not Muslims, by the way. These appear
- 17:12Speaker 1: to be just American white kids, I guess, white liberal revolutionaries,
- 17:16Speaker 1: maybe Antifa. And they were planning to fly drones and
- 17:20Speaker 1: scare people and blow up buildings and everyone would run
- 17:22Speaker 1: for their lives in panic. And then they were going
- 17:24Speaker 1: to have snipers set up to shoot them all down
- 17:26Speaker 1: and kill thousands of people. This is a crazy plan.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Maybe a very smart, effective plan, but thank God somebody's
- 17:33Speaker 1: mommy called the FBI and told on the 19-year-old, and
- 17:38Speaker 1: the FBI arrested them all, swooped in and arrested them,
- 17:41Speaker 1: and everything worked out at the UFC event. Thank God. So,
- 17:45Speaker 1: I mean, there's no question.
- 17:46Speaker 3: Keep praying for the Iranian people.
- 17:48Speaker 4: I believe God is good, and I believe God at
- 17:50Speaker 4: the end of the day is going to ensure that
- 17:52Speaker 4: the right thing happens for the people of Iran and
- 17:55Speaker 4: for the people of Israel and for the people of
- 17:57Speaker 4: the United States. I understand why President Trump is doing
- 18:00Speaker 4: what he's doing. I just think he's mistaken to do it.
- 18:02Speaker 4: I get it in the short run.
- 18:03Speaker 3: It makes sense.
- 18:04Speaker 4: And I hope that at some point, once the midterms
- 18:07Speaker 4: are over, all bets will be off and he'll do
- 18:10Speaker 4: what needs to be done because this is a problem
- 18:12Speaker 4: you don't want to leave behind.
- 18:13Speaker 3: This is not a good problem to leave unsolved.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I get it. Nikki, I get it. It was just
- 18:17Speaker 1: a prudent thing for Trump to do if he wanted
- 18:19Speaker 1: to win the midterms. It just was getting too long.
- 18:22Speaker 1: And it might have required boots on the ground, and
- 18:24Speaker 1: just the American people were never going to go for that.
- 18:26Speaker 4: No, I don't think you'd ever need that. I don't
- 18:28Speaker 4: think you should do that. And listen, I still love
- 18:30Speaker 4: President Trump. I think he's the best president we've had
- 18:35Speaker 4: easily since Ronald Reagan.
- 18:36Speaker 3: On the whole, his presidency has been a boon for humankind.
- 18:41Speaker 3: I want to make sure I make that clear.
- 18:42Speaker 4: I just disagree strongly with this particular decision that he's made.
- 18:46Speaker 1: I get it. I get it. You know, more than not,
- 18:48Speaker 1: I agree with you. But I also agree with Trump
- 18:50Speaker 1: that there was no choice right now. So it's kind
- 18:52Speaker 1: of a difficult conundrum. That's the best way to describe it.
- 18:55Speaker 1: It's a conundrum. All right, Nikki Ballou, Ontario, Canada resident,
- 18:59Speaker 1: and as pro-American as you'll ever get for a Canadian
- 19:02Speaker 1: or any other country, should be in the United States
- 19:04Speaker 1: because you're an American patriot, buddy, and the co-author of
- 19:08Speaker 1: several of my books, including the new one, How Illegal
- 19:10Speaker 1: Immigrants Have Made America Great, 100 blank pages. We both
- 19:13Speaker 1: spent five minutes.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Writing the book.
- 19:16Speaker 2: Nikki, thank you, buddy.
- 19:18Speaker 3: Take care, Wayne.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Be good. All right, let me mention the sponsor as

- 21:08Speaker 1: so far are estimated to contain up to 6 trillion
- 21:12Speaker 1: cubic feet of gas, making it one of the largest
- 21:14Speaker 1: natural gas discoveries in the Rocky Mountain region in the
- 21:17Speaker 1: last 30 years. This is how we power the AI
- 21:20Speaker 1: future of America with clean natural gas. Headed by oil
- 21:23Speaker 1: and gas legend Mark Bruner, whose previous public companies, Petco
- 21:27Speaker 1: Energy and Ultra Petroleum, delivered... spectacular returns for investors. At
- 21:31Speaker 1: its peak, a $ 10, 000 investment in Ultra Petroleum turned into
- 21:35Speaker 1: over $ 13 million. To learn more about this Lost Soldier

- 23:32Speaker 1: air as well.
- 23:32Speaker 2: Hey, Wayne, what do you think about Obama?
- 23:35Speaker 1: He was a communist, socialist, Marxist radical. I agree. Or
- 23:40Speaker 1: you can email me, waybroot at gmail.com. I'll read your
- 23:44Speaker 1: email live on the air with your comments or questions.
- 23:48Speaker 1: America speaks. All right, Wayne Allyn Root here. Any progress
- 24:08Speaker 1: on Ted Cruz? Oh, he's ready. Okay, well, we'll say
- 24:11Speaker 1: hello to him then. United States Senator Ted Cruz, you're
- 24:14Speaker 1: on with Wayne Root.
- 24:14Speaker 2: How are you? I'm doing terrific. How about you?
- 24:17Speaker 1: Good to see you. The first thing I wanted to
- 24:18Speaker 1: do is I wanted to say kind of a condolence.
- 24:20Speaker 1: I know that a friend of yours was killed in
- 24:22Speaker 1: a plane accident yesterday. Joshua Baer, the founder of Capital Factory,
- 24:27Speaker 1: which is one of the biggest venture capital for tech
- 24:30Speaker 1: companies in the world. And in Texas, he was like
- 24:33Speaker 1: the tech kingmaker. What a terrible tragedy to lose a
- 24:36Speaker 1: great businessman like that.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Really tragic.
- 24:38Speaker 7: He was a bold thinker, an entrepreneur, and made a
- 24:41Speaker 7: real difference in the Austin community. And we're grieving his
- 24:46Speaker 7: loss in a tragic plane accident.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Yeah, as a son of a butcher, which is what
- 24:51Speaker 1: I am, you know, son of a blue-collar butcher who's
- 24:53Speaker 1: made it in the business world and has made a
- 24:54Speaker 1: lot of money, I just love capitalists. You know, I
- 24:57Speaker 1: love people that go out there and they fight and
- 24:59Speaker 1: they make money in a great capitalist nation. And I
- 25:02Speaker 1: just feel sorrow whenever we lose one of them. And
- 25:04Speaker 1: this guy, you know, puts me to shame. What a successful,
- 25:07Speaker 1: amazing guy this guy was. um our condolences to his
- 25:10Speaker 1: family joshua bear of a capital factory in austin texas
- 25:14Speaker 1: terrible loss uh president trump earlier today and then we'll
- 25:17Speaker 1: get to all the questions we plan to get to
- 25:19Speaker 1: but i wanted to get a comment from you trump
- 25:21Speaker 1: at the g7 uh he's always funny he called obama
- 25:25Speaker 1: a dumb son of a bitch and i would argue
- 25:27Speaker 1: with that comment ted i think it was wrong i
- 25:30Speaker 1: think it was uh Not a comment I would make.
- 25:33Speaker 1: He is a evil son of a bitch. He's not
- 25:35Speaker 1: a dumb one. President Obama is not stupid. He is smart,
- 25:39Speaker 1: and he wanted to destroy capitalism and all the things
- 25:43Speaker 1: that I think make America great. I don't think any
- 25:45Speaker 1: of it was a mistake. I don't think he's incompetent.
- 25:47Speaker 1: I don't think he's dumb. So Trump is right to
- 25:50Speaker 1: totally despise him, but I think it was the wrong
- 25:53Speaker 1: adjective in front of son of a bitch. I think
- 25:55Speaker 1: he's evil, not dumb. Your thoughts?
- 25:59Speaker 2: Look, I agree with you.
- 26:00Speaker 7: The way I would put it is I think Barack
- 26:02Speaker 7: Obama is a true believer. I think he is a socialist,
- 26:06Speaker 7: if not a full-out Marxist.
- 26:08Speaker 2: I think actually a lot of the dissent.
- 26:11Speaker 7: of the Democrat Party into crazy town, into open border,
- 26:15Speaker 7: release criminals, embrace Hamas, I think Barack Obama started.
- 26:19Speaker 2: That entire dissent. Yes, he did.
- 26:22Speaker 7: And I think he is fully committed. Look, I'll even
- 26:24Speaker 7: go so far as to say I respect Obama for
- 26:27Speaker 7: his commitment to his ideology.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Me too, I agree. His ideology just happens to be
- 26:31Speaker 2: poisonous ideology.
- 26:32Speaker 5: Right.
- 26:33Speaker 7: And incredibly damaging and ripping the country apart. But but
- 26:36Speaker 7: he fights for it with with with real efficacy.
- 26:40Speaker 2: And it's dangerous.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Like like Republican senators, unlike you, which I happen to
- 26:44Speaker 1: love you and I think you're great. But a lot
- 26:46Speaker 1: of them do not fight with fire. Right. They can't
- 26:49Speaker 1: even get their act together. and pass the SAVE Act,
- 26:52Speaker 1: which is the easiest low-hanging fruit in the history of
- 26:56Speaker 1: the United States of America. And they can't even say, yes,
- 26:59Speaker 1: let's pass that, which is so ridiculous. Did you happen
- 27:02Speaker 1: to see my commentary? I've been arguing for like three
- 27:05Speaker 1: months now, Senator Cruz, that the SAVE Act is great
- 27:09Speaker 1: and I want it to pass, but it's never going
- 27:11Speaker 1: to pass. The Senate is never going to let it pass.
- 27:14Speaker 1: It's never going to happen. The McConnell's the world. and
- 27:17Speaker 1: the Tom Tillis of the world. Not going to happen.
- 27:19Speaker 1: But we have something better. I keep recommending President Trump
- 27:23Speaker 1: declare a presidential national security emergency for elections, which is
- 27:29Speaker 1: the SAVE Act on steroids, Trump style. All the same
- 27:32Speaker 1: things the SAVE Act is in it, except also paper
- 27:36Speaker 1: ballots and getting rid of the machines and getting rid
- 27:39Speaker 1: of mail-in ballots, none of which are in the SAVE Act.
- 27:41Speaker 1: And I don't know if you know this, but the
- 27:42Speaker 1: Supreme Court ruled in 1983 a presidential national security emergency
- 27:46Speaker 1: cannot be sued in court and stopped by lawsuits. You
- 27:50Speaker 1: can only overturn it with a two thirds vote of
- 27:54Speaker 1: both houses of Congress. So I think I've come up
- 27:57Speaker 1: with a miracle idea that will be in effect for
- 28:00Speaker 1: the midterms if Trump does it. And it's much better
- 28:03Speaker 1: than the SAVE Act.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Yeah, look, I would love to see that outcome.
- 28:08Speaker 7: I think you would have massive resistance in blue states,
- 28:11Speaker 7: and I think you would certainly have judges that would
- 28:13Speaker 7: issue injunctions against the president.
- 28:15Speaker 2: If he issued a unilateral order.
- 28:18Speaker 7: Listen, I think voter fraud is pernicious. Look at the
- 28:22Speaker 7: California elections. Look at how ridiculous the California elections are. Now, look,
- 28:27Speaker 7: there's an element of, tragically, I do think there are
- 28:29Speaker 7: a lot of knuckleheads. People looked around L.A. and said, gosh,
- 28:33Speaker 7: our mayor let the city burn to the ground, is
- 28:35Speaker 7: releasing criminals everywhere. We've got homeless people and criminals that
- 28:38Speaker 7: are assaulting our kids and.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Leaving needles on the sidewalk. What do we need?
- 28:43Speaker 7: Oh, let's go for an even crazier, more left-wing candidate.
- 28:46Speaker 7: You know, There are some really foolish people who just
- 28:51Speaker 7: keep voting to make it worse and worse and worse.
- 28:54Speaker 7: But there's also, I think, a lot of fraud. And
- 28:57Speaker 7: the policies, particularly in California, they invite fraud. It's actually illegal.
- 29:02Speaker 7: To ask for an ID voting. They want illegals voting.
- 29:07Speaker 7: They want fraud there. I think the Democrat and the
- 29:10Speaker 7: Marxist politicians are invested in maximizing the fraud.
- 29:15Speaker 2: And so it really is tragic.
- 29:18Speaker 7: I've more than once suggested that Gavin Newsom be named
- 29:22Speaker 7: the Texas Realtor of the Year because nobody on planet
- 29:26Speaker 7: Earth has sold more homes in Texas than Gavin has.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Well, you think Texas, but I'm telling you the real
- 29:31Speaker 1: explosion is from California to where I live, Las Vegas.
- 29:34Speaker 2: We are flooded.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I mean, it's like 5,000 a month are coming from California,
- 29:38Speaker 1: and I keep meeting them. They're not middle class, Ted.
- 29:41Speaker 1: They're all wealthy people in California with big houses. They're
- 29:45Speaker 1: all leaving, and they're moving to Vegas, my area of
- 29:47Speaker 1: Vegas called Summerlin, which is where I saw you at
- 29:51Speaker 1: the event about, what, three weeks ago, I guess. You
- 29:53Speaker 1: and I were at an event together, and that's in Summerlin,
- 29:55Speaker 1: which is a beautiful area of Las Vegas. That's where
- 29:58Speaker 1: the whole California with wealth is moving if they're not
- 30:02Speaker 1: going to Texas or Florida, so They're all running away.
- 30:05Speaker 1: It's like a movie, Escape from L.A.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Or Escape from California.
- 30:08Speaker 7: Well, the sum total of wealth that has fled the
- 30:11Speaker 7: state just in the last few months, I think it
- 30:13Speaker 7: is in excess of $ 2 trillion because California is talking
- 30:17Speaker 7: about this wealth tax and confiscating their wealth. And it's
- 30:21Speaker 7: not just the individuals with resources that are leaving.
- 30:25Speaker 2: These are all job creators that create.
- 30:26Speaker 7: Thousands and thousands of jobs.
- 30:29Speaker 2: And, you know, there's an old joke.
- 30:30Speaker 7: That I sadly I think has a lot of force
- 30:33Speaker 7: to it, which is which is what's the difference between
- 30:35Speaker 7: California and the Titanic? And the answer is the passengers
- 30:41Speaker 7: of the Titanic didn't vote to hit the iceberg.
- 30:45Speaker 3: True.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Very true. It's scary. You think California is bad. Wait
- 30:49Speaker 1: till you see how many people are going to leave
- 30:51Speaker 1: New York with Mondami as mayor. And I say this
- 30:53Speaker 1: all the time. Look, I'm Jewish. And I'm sorry that
- 30:56Speaker 1: so many Jews are great people but ignorant when it
- 30:59Speaker 1: comes to voting because so many of them vote liberal Democrat.
- 31:03Speaker 1: And it makes no sense. You're voting against your own interests.
- 31:05Speaker 1: You're voting for suicide. You're voting for a party that
- 31:08Speaker 1: hates you. But that's changing. More and more Jews are
- 31:10Speaker 1: switching over. But let me tell you, whether they're liberal
- 31:14Speaker 1: or whether they're conservative, all the Jewish people I know
- 31:16Speaker 1: are very educated and very successful. And they make money
- 31:19Speaker 1: and they create jobs. And when you chase them out
- 31:22Speaker 1: of a city that is the most powerful financial city
- 31:25Speaker 1: in the world, it's going to collapse. And if all
- 31:27Speaker 1: the Jewish people who are job creators and CEOs of
- 31:30Speaker 1: businesses leave New York City for Florida and Texas and
- 31:34Speaker 1: where I live, Nevada and Tennessee and South Carolina, New
- 31:37Speaker 1: York City is going to collapse. It's insanity to chase
- 31:40Speaker 1: successful job creators out of a city or a state.
- 31:44Speaker 2: Yeah, look, I'll give an example from the last couple
- 31:47Speaker 2: of weeks.
- 31:47Speaker 7: Apollo, the huge hedge fund, just announced they're opening their
- 31:52Speaker 7: second global headquarters in Austin, Texas.
- 31:55Speaker 2: Mark Rowan, who leads them, who's been a.
- 31:57Speaker 7: Real champion fighting anti-Semitism and taking on the insanity we
- 32:01Speaker 7: have at our universities. You know, Mark's gone down to
- 32:04Speaker 7: Austin's buying a home. The senior executives are buying homes
- 32:07Speaker 7: in Texas. And, you know, Mondami is a big, big
- 32:11Speaker 7: part of the reason why they and so many other
- 32:13Speaker 7: people are fleeing Manhattan.
- 32:14Speaker 2: It's tragic.
- 32:16Speaker 7: You know, I look at it and it is, I
- 32:19Speaker 7: think the young people who voted for Mondami, they don't
- 32:22Speaker 7: remember and they don't know enough to know what happened
- 32:25Speaker 7: to New York in the 70s, how bad it can get.
- 32:28Speaker 7: And tragically, I think for both New York City and
- 32:31Speaker 7: for California, things are going to have to get worse
- 32:33Speaker 7: before they get better.
- 32:35Speaker 1: But this is like that joke you told. It's not
- 32:36Speaker 1: a joke. It's serious. I mean, what's interesting, New York
- 32:38Speaker 1: City in the 70s and New York City now, in
- 32:40Speaker 1: both cases, it's a repeat, except in the 70s, no
- 32:44Speaker 1: one ever said a word bad about Jewish people. That's
- 32:47Speaker 1: the difference now is it's even war. It's like become
- 32:50Speaker 1: communism mixed with Nazism. It's the most crazy combination I've
- 32:54Speaker 1: ever seen. I've been at two graduation parties in Las Vegas,
- 32:57Speaker 1: you know, high school graduation. Friends of mine and my
- 33:01Speaker 1: wife's and their kids were graduating in the last month.
- 33:04Speaker 1: And both of them were these beautiful, wonderful, smart kids
- 33:07Speaker 1: all graduating the best schools in Vegas. And guess where
- 33:09Speaker 1: they're all going? Not one of them has chosen an
- 33:11Speaker 1: Ivy League school. Almost every kid I met is going
- 33:14Speaker 1: to SMU. SMU is like the new Harvard. for people
- 33:18Speaker 1: who have common sense that don't want to go places
- 33:20Speaker 1: where they're hated. So, I mean, everyone is looking at
- 33:23Speaker 1: Texas and going, it's safe for my kids to go
- 33:26Speaker 1: to Texas. It's not safe for my kids to go
- 33:28Speaker 1: to Boston or New York.
- 33:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:30Speaker 7: Now, look, unquestionably, that pattern is happening more and more,
- 33:34Speaker 7: and you're seeing people— well, look at the anti-Semitic protests. Some
- 33:37Speaker 7: people say, well, gosh, it's happening everywhere. And that was
- 33:41Speaker 7: not true. The vicious anti-Semitic protests— They happened in blue
- 33:45Speaker 7: states that were led by Democrat governors. They happened in
- 33:48Speaker 7: New York. They happened in Connecticut. They happened in Pennsylvania.
- 33:50Speaker 7: They happened in Illinois. They happened in New Jersey. They
- 33:53Speaker 7: happened in Washington State. They happened in California. You know
- 33:56Speaker 7: where they didn't happen? They didn't happen in Texas. They
- 33:58Speaker 7: didn't happen in Florida. They didn't happen in Tennessee. And
- 34:01Speaker 7: by the way, let's take Texas for a minute. We
- 34:04Speaker 7: briefly had a protest at the University of Texas in Austin.
- 34:07Speaker 2: The police showed up, arrested everyone, and it was over
- 34:10Speaker 2: in about an hour. And the problem went away.
- 34:13Speaker 7: That's actually when you have leadership that says, no, we're
- 34:16Speaker 7: not going to let you terrorize your fellow students, threaten
- 34:20Speaker 7: your fellow students, harass your fellow students. And you know
- 34:22Speaker 7: what they discovered? And this has been the pattern in
- 34:24Speaker 7: almost all those protests. more than half of the people
- 34:27Speaker 7: that were there protesting had no affiliation with UT. They
- 34:31Speaker 7: weren't students. They came from the outside. They're agitators that
- 34:35Speaker 7: are being paid. I think they're being paid by Qatar
- 34:37Speaker 7: and Iran and China. They're being paid by forces that
- 34:42Speaker 7: want to foment unrest and tear our country apart. And
- 34:47Speaker 7: you noted, look, in Manhattan, Comrade Mondami is a perfect
- 34:52Speaker 7: illustration of the Green-Red Alliance, how the Islamists and Marxists,
- 34:58Speaker 7: they intersect and they both hate the same people.
- 35:02Speaker 2: And that is where the left is today in America.
- 35:06Speaker 1: And that's why I'm so anti Tucker Carlson's and the
- 35:09Speaker 1: Candace Owens and even Marjorie Taylor Greene. I think those
- 35:12Speaker 1: people are so dangerous because I ask my fellow conservatives,
- 35:15Speaker 1: Senator Cruz, have you ever agreed with the left on anything?
- 35:19Speaker 1: They're wrong about everything. Have they ever been right about anything?
- 35:22Speaker 1: So how come you're now taking their side with Jew hatred?
- 35:24Speaker 1: when it's all coming from the left and now you're
- 35:26Speaker 1: dumb enough to agree with them. They've never been right
- 35:29Speaker 1: about anything before. So they're not right about Jew hatred
- 35:31Speaker 1: and they're not right about Israel. They're wrong because they're
- 35:34Speaker 1: agreeing with the most radical communist people in the world.
- 35:37Speaker 1: So you know you shouldn't be on their side. How silly.
- 35:41Speaker 7: Yeah, look, it is pernicious. And if you look on
- 35:44Speaker 7: the left, anti-Semitism, Jew hatred really began rising on the
- 35:49Speaker 7: left in the last 10 years or so.
- 35:51Speaker 1: Obama.
- 35:51Speaker 2: Obama.
- 35:52Speaker 7: And yes, absolutely. And the Democrat leadership, they by and
- 35:57Speaker 7: large just looked the other way. They hoped it would
- 35:59Speaker 7: go away. And it's basically consumed their party. It is
- 36:03Speaker 7: now rising on the right. And you listed some of
- 36:06Speaker 7: the most prominent people that are.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Pushing this poison.
- 36:11Speaker 7: And I believe, Wayne, without exaggeration, this is an existential fight.
- 36:16Speaker 7: Because anti-Semitism is a gateway drug, for anti-capitalism and anti-Americanism.
- 36:23Speaker 2: And you can see it with Mondami.
- 36:24Speaker 7: You can see it with Tucker Carlson, who starts by
- 36:28Speaker 7: attacking Jews in Israel seemingly every show, but then quickly
- 36:32Speaker 7: goes down the road of attacking President Trump viciously, praising
- 36:38Speaker 7: Nicolas Maduro, a communist, praising the leaders of Iran, attacking-
- 36:45Speaker 7: And buying a.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Home in Qatar. buying a home in Qatar. He's living
- 36:48Speaker 1: part-time in Qatar now. Something is wrong with Tucker. I
- 36:52Speaker 1: don't know if they paid him, you know, a half
- 36:54Speaker 1: billion dollars to turn on America. I don't know what
- 36:56Speaker 1: it is, but it's so bizarre, Ted Cruz. Can you
- 36:59Speaker 1: imagine anyone saying my new second home is in Qatar?
- 37:02Speaker 1: It's just it's just bizarre. Let's switch gears because we
- 37:07Speaker 1: don't have much time left for you. I know your
- 37:09Speaker 1: time is valuable. I want to get to one last
- 37:11Speaker 1: point that matters, which is the Iran deal. It's very controversial.
- 37:15Speaker 1: I get you know, I'm a guy whose pulse is
- 37:17Speaker 1: on American politics. I get thousands of fan mails because
- 37:21Speaker 1: I give out my email on every show, my podcast,
- 37:23Speaker 1: my two TV shows, and my radio show. I give
- 37:25Speaker 1: out my email, wayneroot at gmail.com, and I hear what
- 37:27Speaker 1: people say. It's very divided whether they think we should
- 37:31Speaker 1: have finished the job and Trump did go far enough
- 37:33Speaker 1: and he should have been a lot stricter with them,
- 37:35Speaker 1: a lot tougher with them, and then half the people say,
- 37:38Speaker 1: Glad we're getting out. I never wanted to go in
- 37:40Speaker 1: in the first place. And we got to get back
- 37:42Speaker 1: to the economy and inflation and get away from Iran.
- 37:46Speaker 1: And I'm kind of in the middle. I kind of
- 37:48Speaker 1: agree with both sides. So I'm not quite sure where
- 37:50Speaker 1: to go. Tell me what you think about the new
- 37:52Speaker 1: Iran deal negotiated by Art of the Deal, President Trump.
- 37:57Speaker 2: So, look, if you want to get out, get out.
- 37:59Speaker 2: But don't give him a damn penny.
- 38:02Speaker 7: History teaches that that giving billions of dollars to theocratic
- 38:06Speaker 7: lunatics who want to.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Murder us is a really, really bad idea.
- 38:11Speaker 7: And I think the president, unfortunately, is receiving really bad
- 38:14Speaker 7: advice on this deal. This deal, assuming the terms that
- 38:18Speaker 7: have been leaked are accurate, and they're still somewhat shrouded
- 38:22Speaker 7: in darkness, but if what's been leaked is accurate... This
- 38:26Speaker 7: deal starts by giving somewhere between 10 to $ 30 billion
- 38:30Speaker 7: to Iran right at the front before they make even
- 38:33Speaker 7: a single nuclear concession. I think that is a mistake.
- 38:38Speaker 7: That money will be used to fund terrorists. That money
- 38:41Speaker 7: will be used to build weapons that will be used
- 38:43Speaker 7: to kill Americans.
- 38:45Speaker 2: I don't think we should do that.
- 38:47Speaker 7: What has been discussed is that the deal is contemplating
- 38:51Speaker 7: $ 300 billion.
- 38:54Speaker 1: At least not from us, though. That's the only good
- 38:56Speaker 1: thing I'll say about that. It's from the Gulf states,
- 38:58Speaker 1: not from us. So at least we're not paying it
- 39:00Speaker 1: from what I can see.
- 39:02Speaker 7: But why the hell would we want an Ayatollah who
- 39:06Speaker 7: chants death to America to have $ 300 billion? Americans, that
- 39:12Speaker 7: will be used to murder Americans. Look, Joe Biden and
- 39:16Speaker 7: Kamala Harris flowed $ 100 billion to to Iran, to the regime.
- 39:22Speaker 7: That was catastrophically foolish, and among other things, that effectively
- 39:25Speaker 7: funded October 7th.
- 39:27Speaker 2: The number here is three times that.
- 39:30Speaker 7: That doesn't make any sense, and the agreement also, as
- 39:33Speaker 7: it's been leaked, gives Iran permanent control over the Strait
- 39:38Speaker 7: of Hormuz and sanctions their imposing tolls. The Ayatollah shouldn't
- 39:45Speaker 7: make a penny from the free navigation of the seas.
- 39:49Speaker 2: And so it's one thing.
- 39:51Speaker 7: I think President Trump's decision to initiate military conflict and
- 39:55Speaker 7: to go after Iran and to take out their ballistic
- 39:58Speaker 7: missiles and to take out their drones and their Navy
- 40:00Speaker 7: and their Air Force, I think that was the single
- 40:03Speaker 7: most consequential decision of his presidency.
- 40:06Speaker 2: He was absolutely right.
- 40:07Speaker 1: He was right. And the idea now- I think politics
- 40:11Speaker 1: got in the way. I think politics got in the way.
- 40:13Speaker 1: I think the midterms got in the way. And I
- 40:15Speaker 1: think he basically said, let's just get the hell out
- 40:19Speaker 1: of there and let's do whatever we have to do
- 40:21Speaker 1: to be ready for the midterms and lower gas prices. Unfortunately,
- 40:24Speaker 1: I'm not saying I agree. I'm just saying to me,
- 40:27Speaker 1: that's exactly what happened in his mind. We got to
- 40:30Speaker 1: get back to America first and the economy and make
- 40:33Speaker 1: sure everything is going up except for gas prices. But
- 40:37Speaker 1: the economy is going up leading into the midterms and
- 40:40Speaker 1: we could always get back to them after the midterms.
- 40:43Speaker 1: I think that's what's going through his mind.
- 40:46Speaker 7: Listen, I think he's getting bad advice on this and
- 40:50Speaker 7: the idea that we would send billions of dollars to
- 40:53Speaker 7: people who want.
- 40:53Speaker 2: To kill us.
- 40:55Speaker 7: It is not a good idea. Just today, Rob Malley,
- 40:58Speaker 7: who was the top Iran appeaser under Joe Biden, he
- 41:03Speaker 7: tweeted that he thinks that this agreement is fabulous.
- 41:06Speaker 2: That should tell you something.
- 41:07Speaker 1: That's not good.
- 41:08Speaker 2: It's not good. No, it's not good at all.
- 41:11Speaker 7: You know, I think back during when Obama was president,
- 41:14Speaker 7: John Kerry was secretary of state, and there was a
- 41:16Speaker 7: political cartoon.
- 41:18Speaker 2: That had the Ayatollah yelling, death to America.
- 41:21Speaker 7: And it had John Kerry responding with, can we meet
- 41:24Speaker 7: you halfway?
- 41:26Speaker 1: That's scary. That's scary. With him riding his bicycle and
- 41:31Speaker 1: then he falls down and breaks his leg. I mean,
- 41:32Speaker 1: he's the word putz. You know, I was Jewish growing up.
- 41:35Speaker 1: The word putz, schmuck, that is John Kerry. He's such
- 41:39Speaker 1: a putz and such a schmuck.
- 41:40Speaker 5: All right.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Look, the trouble is I don't think any of them
- 41:44Speaker 1: are really incompetent, stupid, dumb putz or schmuck. The reality
- 41:48Speaker 1: is we joke about it, but the reality is, Ted,
- 41:51Speaker 1: I think they're all evil. I think the whole left
- 41:53Speaker 1: has become so radical and so evil. Their intent is
- 41:56Speaker 1: to destroy America. It's not because they're incompetent. It's because
- 42:00Speaker 1: they know exactly what they're doing. We got to run.
- 42:04Speaker 1: I know you got to run. We're taking a break.
- 42:06Speaker 1: United States Senator Ted Cruz, one of my favorite politicians
- 42:10Speaker 1: in America. You're a good man, Ted. And thank God
- 42:12Speaker 1: we've got you. Thank God we got you. All right.
- 42:14Speaker 1: We'll be right back. Wayne Allyn Root. The Root, the Root,
- 42:17Speaker 1: the Root is on fire.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Be right back.
- 42:32Speaker 1: All right. Wayne Allyn Root from Las Vegas. Warzone Live,
- 42:35Speaker 1: the official podcast of the Gateway Pundit, which is, by
- 42:38Speaker 1: the way, the fifth... Fifth ranked conservative news site in
- 42:41Speaker 1: the United States of America, which probably makes it fifth
- 42:43Speaker 1: in the world. Behind only Fox News, New York Post,
- 42:46Speaker 1: Breitbart and Wall Street Journal. That's it. That's it. Gateway
- 42:50Speaker 1: Pundit number five. And we are the official podcast and
- 42:53Speaker 1: very proud of that. Over a billion page views each
- 42:57Speaker 1: year at the Gateway Pundit and two and a half
- 43:00Speaker 1: million daily readers. And we're proud to be the official
- 43:03Speaker 1: podcast every day at 4 o'clock Eastern, 1 o'clock Pacific.
- 43:06Speaker 1: You can also find us at Rumble. You can also
- 43:08Speaker 1: find us at Talk Red. Is it Talk Red, Pitar?
- 43:10Speaker 1: I think it's Talk Red or is it Red Talk?
- 43:12Speaker 1: Red Talk or Talk Red?
- 43:14Speaker 3: I thought it's Talk Red.
- 43:16Speaker 1: TalkRed.com.
- 43:17Speaker 2: Talk Red.
- 43:17Speaker 1: You're getting me backwards, Pitar. What's going on? Tangible Investments
- 43:21Speaker 1: is the sponsor of this segment of the show. How
- 43:24Speaker 1: important is its own gold? Well, first of all, Wayne
- 43:26Speaker 1: Root will tell you it's the most important thing in
- 43:27Speaker 1: my life. You're supposed to own like 5% or 10% gold.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Most people own zero. I got to admit, I own
- 43:33Speaker 1: about 40% gold. My life savings is almost all in gold.
- 43:37Speaker 1: It's my single biggest investment. That's how much I believe
- 43:39Speaker 1: in gold. So China's central bank agrees with me. They're
- 43:43Speaker 1: buying lots of gold. They increased their gold reserves for
- 43:46Speaker 1: the 18th consecutive month. China's prepared for what's coming. Are you? See,
- 43:50Speaker 1: you've got to be a moron to keep your money
- 43:52Speaker 1: in cash. It goes down every day when you keep
- 43:55Speaker 1: your money in cash. You could say I have 50,000
- 43:57Speaker 1: and 10 years later you go, see, I still have 50,000.
- 43:59Speaker 1: What do you mean, Wayne? But 10 years later, the 50,000
- 44:03Speaker 1: buys half of the car it bought 10 years ago.
- 44:06Speaker 1: So you don't really have 50,000. You have 25,000. Even
- 44:08Speaker 1: though you can count out 50, it's still all there.
- 44:12Speaker 1: It's not. Inflation has eaten it all up. It's not
- 44:15Speaker 1: there anymore. Your buying power is down to half or zero. So,
- 44:20Speaker 1: you know, like if you had, I think it was,
- 44:22Speaker 1: if the number was, if you put a million dollars
- 44:23Speaker 1: into gold at the turn of the century, at the 1900s,
- 44:27Speaker 1: if you put a million dollars into gold, Today, it
- 44:32Speaker 1: would be worth, I think, $ 100 million. And if you
- 44:34Speaker 1: put $ 1 million into cash, they would be worth like $ 25, 000.
- 44:37Speaker 1: The buying power would be $ 25, 000 versus the million you
- 44:41Speaker 1: had in the early 1900s. So really, those are incredible numbers.
- 44:46Speaker 1: So China knows what they're doing. They know what's coming.
- 44:49Speaker 1: Are you prepared for what's coming? But even if you
- 44:52Speaker 1: buy gold, buying gold itself is not enough. You need
- 44:55Speaker 1: to buy gold at the right price. And this is
- 44:57Speaker 1: where buyers get misled. Other gold companies say we only
- 45:00Speaker 1: charge 1% over cost, but that's very misleading because whose
- 45:03Speaker 1: cost are they talking about? The real question you need
- 45:06Speaker 1: to ask is, what are you charging me above spot price?
- 45:09Speaker 1: And then compare that answer to the sponsor of my show,
- 45:12Speaker 1: Tangible Investments. I've known the guys at Tangible for decades.
- 45:15Speaker 1: Tangible has been in business for more than 40 years,
- 45:18Speaker 1: have handled more than $ 2 billion in transactions. Their team
- 45:21Speaker 1: brings over 200 combined years of experience. Right now, Tangible
- 45:26Speaker 1: Investments is offering gold bullion at just 1% over spot.
- 45:29Speaker 1: That's unheard of. And they offer silver as low as
- 45:32Speaker 1: 3% over spot. Unheard of. If you want gold, silver,
- 45:35Speaker 1: pressed metals, or rare coins from a real firm with
- 45:38Speaker 1: real credibility and honest pricing at a time in history
- 45:43Speaker 1: where China is buying up all the gold in the
- 45:45Speaker 1: world for a reason. And if you think China's smart,
- 45:47Speaker 1: and I do. Follow China, right? Call Tangible Investments right now.
- 45:51Speaker 1: Toll free, 888-330-4351. 888-330-4351. Or if you can't remember that,
- 45:59Speaker 1: go to rootforgold.com. That's the website they got just for
- 46:03Speaker 1: my fans. Rootforgold.com. Rootforgold.com. My guest, we have another guest.
- 46:08Speaker 1: We're here to have two in the same show. Connor Fitzpatrick.
- 46:11Speaker 1: You know, they're available. We grab them. Connor Fitzpatrick is
- 46:14Speaker 1: Chief Supervising Attorney for the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression,
- 46:18Speaker 1: otherwise known as FIRE, Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Get it F-I-R-E, the website FIRE.org, FIRE.org. Connor, welcome to
- 46:27Speaker 1: the show. Let's start with that.
- 46:28Speaker 8: Thanks for having me.
- 46:31Speaker 7: All right.
- 46:31Speaker 1: So first of all, tell us about your organization. What
- 46:34Speaker 1: is FIRE? What do you do?
- 46:36Speaker 6: So FIRE is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to defending
- 46:41Speaker 6: freedom of speech and the First Amendment around the United States.
- 46:45Speaker 6: We do not care if you are a Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, Green,
- 46:49Speaker 6: or anything in between. Our unofficial slogan is that if
- 46:52Speaker 6: it's protected, we will defend it.
- 46:55Speaker 3: All right.
- 46:55Speaker 1: So in Las Vegas, and that's where this show emanates from,
- 46:58Speaker 1: I live in Las Vegas, my adopted hometown for 24 years.
- 47:01Speaker 1: In Las Vegas, a lawsuit was filed by a father
- 47:04Speaker 1: after his son was expelled from school for expressing pro-ice views.
- 47:09Speaker 1: That is stunning to me. He placed six pro-ice emblems
- 47:13Speaker 1: on the walls of a hallway and the assistant principal
- 47:16Speaker 1: at the East Career and Technical Academy said the emblems
- 47:20Speaker 1: were racist and they expelled him from school. Tell us
- 47:23Speaker 1: this story because to me this is shocking and I'd
- 47:26Speaker 1: like my Fans in Las Vegas, of which I have
- 47:29Speaker 1: more than any other radio host in Vegas, times 10.
- 47:32Speaker 1: I'd love you to give me like a number or
- 47:34Speaker 1: an email. We could call and just destroy this school.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Just bombard their phones with calls and tell them that
- 47:41Speaker 1: they've ruined their school and no one's going to go
- 47:43Speaker 1: there anymore. So tell us the story. Tell us there's
- 47:45Speaker 1: some way we can make a difference and contact them
- 47:48Speaker 1: or contact the mayor. What can we do?
- 47:52Speaker 3: Sure.
- 47:52Speaker 6: So what we have here is a lawsuit filed on
- 47:54Speaker 6: behalf of a student who alleges that he was expelled
- 47:57Speaker 6: based on pro-ICE expression. So this all appears to have
- 48:01Speaker 6: happened earlier this year when there were protests and counter
- 48:04Speaker 6: protests popping up around the country, particularly at schools about
- 48:08Speaker 6: ICE and about the role it was playing in cities
- 48:10Speaker 6: like Minneapolis.
- 48:11Speaker 8: So a few weeks before this student.
- 48:13Speaker 6: Engaged in his expression, it looks like there was a
- 48:17Speaker 6: walkout or other sort of anti-ICE speech. And the school,
- 48:21Speaker 6: it appears, did not punish any of the students for
- 48:23Speaker 6: being involved in that. But then when this student put
- 48:25Speaker 6: up pro-ICE stickers on the wall, the school punished him,
- 48:30Speaker 6: not from what it looks like in the lawsuit for
- 48:33Speaker 6: putting things on the wall when he shouldn't have been,
- 48:35Speaker 6: but because of the viewpoint that he was expressing in
- 48:38Speaker 6: the emblems and the stickers that he was putting on
- 48:40Speaker 6: the wall.
- 48:41Speaker 8: And that's where the First Amendment steps in.
- 48:43Speaker 6: The First Amendment requires the government to be neutral. The
- 48:46Speaker 6: government isn't allowed to play favorites. It isn't allowed to
- 48:49Speaker 6: say if you agree with me, you are allowed to
- 48:53Speaker 6: engage in speech.
- 48:54Speaker 8: And if you don't, you're not.
- 48:56Speaker 6: So that's why the Constitution and that's why the First
- 48:58Speaker 6: Amendment comes to play here. Because the First Amendment held
- 49:01Speaker 6: more than, pardon me, the Supreme Court held more than
- 49:03Speaker 6: 50 years ago that students are entitled to engage in
- 49:07Speaker 6: non-disruptive political expression at school.
- 49:10Speaker 8: And schools cannot step in.
- 49:11Speaker 6: Schools cannot censor students just because the principal and the
- 49:15Speaker 6: teachers may not like what the student has to say.
- 49:18Speaker 1: And ironically, here's what I would say, Connor. Ironically, when
- 49:23Speaker 1: students walk out to express their views, that should be punishable.
- 49:28Speaker 1: That's different than simply expressing your views. That's, you know,
- 49:31Speaker 1: interrupting the school day. That's killing hours of education. That's
- 49:36Speaker 1: wasting the public's money, the taxpayers' money. So I think
- 49:40Speaker 1: that's one that should be punished. No one should be
- 49:43Speaker 1: allowed to walk out. And I guarantee you they're not
- 49:45Speaker 1: walking out on their own. They didn't organize the protest.
- 49:47Speaker 1: I'm sure the teachers helped them organize the protest. So
- 49:51Speaker 1: that should be punishable. But just simply having a pro-ICE
- 49:55Speaker 1: view should never be punishable.
- 49:59Speaker 8: That's exactly right.
- 50:00Speaker 6: And the reason we know that and where most of
- 50:02Speaker 6: our First Amendment law comes from in the school context
- 50:05Speaker 6: more than 55 years ago is a case involving the
- 50:07Speaker 6: Vietnam War, where there were students in Iowa who wanted
- 50:10Speaker 6: to wear black armbands protesting.
- 50:13Speaker 8: The war to school.
- 50:13Speaker 6: They weren't disrupting anything. They just wanted to wear these
- 50:16Speaker 6: black armbands to school. And the Supreme Court was very clear.
- 50:19Speaker 6: It said that schools cannot prohibit students from peacefully expressing
- 50:23Speaker 6: themselves just because the administrators don't like what they have
- 50:26Speaker 6: to say. Of course, if you're disturbing class, if you're
- 50:29Speaker 6: disturbing other people's lessons, that's very, very different. But what
- 50:32Speaker 6: the First Amendment.
- 50:33Speaker 8: Never permits is teachers stepping.
- 50:36Speaker 6: In and saying, well, even though your classmates express themselves,
- 50:39Speaker 6: I'm going to let them because I agreed with them.
- 50:42Speaker 6: But you can't because I don't like what you have
- 50:44Speaker 6: to say.
- 50:45Speaker 1: It's a really weird situation. And I think I'd have
- 50:48Speaker 1: a hard time going to school nowadays. You know, when
- 50:50Speaker 1: I was a kid, which was a long time ago,
- 50:52Speaker 1: 40 years ago, I was going to college and I
- 50:54Speaker 1: went to Columbia University. the most liberal college in America,
- 50:57Speaker 1: up there with Berkeley and Harvard. And all the other
- 51:00Speaker 1: kids were big liberals and they were all for Jimmy Carter.
- 51:03Speaker 1: And I was a Reagan guy. And I expressed my
- 51:06Speaker 1: beliefs in Reagan and my love of Reagan and my
- 51:08Speaker 1: support of Reagan. And the teachers thought I was kind
- 51:10Speaker 1: of cute and odd. And they still gave me A's.
- 51:14Speaker 1: It wasn't a problem. Today, I think if you go
- 51:17Speaker 1: to college, forget about high school, high school too, but
- 51:19Speaker 1: if you go to college, especially elite colleges, Ivy League colleges,
- 51:23Speaker 1: if you express that you're a Trumper and you're a
- 51:26Speaker 1: MAGA and you want closed borders and secure borders, and
- 51:30Speaker 1: if God forbid you say you want mass deportation, I
- 51:33Speaker 1: believe every one of these commie teachers would give you
- 51:35Speaker 1: an F and ruin your college career and ruin your
- 51:38Speaker 1: ability to go to law school or medical school afterwards.
- 51:41Speaker 1: You can't stick your head above the foxhole anymore because
- 51:44Speaker 1: the teachers are all literally far left communists, literally communists, Marxists,
- 51:49Speaker 1: And conservatives aren't wanted in their classrooms.
- 51:53Speaker 6: I think what we're seeing in not only in higher education,
- 51:56Speaker 6: but in the K through 12 space as well, is
- 51:59Speaker 6: government is government officials. And frankly, these days, it doesn't
- 52:02Speaker 6: matter which party not being able to stop themselves from
- 52:05Speaker 6: trying to put a thumb on the scales in terms
- 52:07Speaker 6: of trying to force people to think and agree with them.
- 52:12Speaker 6: We see some states trying to tell college professors what
- 52:15Speaker 6: they aren't allowed to teach. And we see other states
- 52:17Speaker 6: trying to tell teachers what they are required to teach,
- 52:20Speaker 6: what doctrines they are required to profess. And the First
- 52:23Speaker 6: Amendment stops them to prevent all of that. This isn't Russia.
- 52:26Speaker 6: This isn't China. We don't have state-operated universities parroting the
- 52:33Speaker 6: government's tune. What we have is First Amendment freedom of
- 52:36Speaker 6: speech and freedom of conscience. and freedom of association, where
- 52:40Speaker 6: everyone can decide for themselves what views they want to adopt.
- 52:44Speaker 6: And bringing it right back to home, I'm a product
- 52:46Speaker 6: of the Clark County School District. I grew up in Henderson,
- 52:49Speaker 6: and I'm very proud that at my high school, I
- 52:51Speaker 6: had Republican friends, I had Democratic friends, and we all
- 52:54Speaker 6: talked to each other. We learned about each other's point
- 52:56Speaker 6: of views. It helped our education.
- 52:58Speaker 8: And that's where I think this is really doing a
- 53:00Speaker 8: disservice to the students.
- 53:02Speaker 1: Hey, Connor, those days are gone, buddy. Those days are gone.
- 53:06Speaker 8: I don't think Republican students and Democrats.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Are hanging out with each other anymore. It just doesn't work.
- 53:11Speaker 1: It's pretty bad. I don't know any man who's a
- 53:13Speaker 1: conservative dates a liberal woman. It just doesn't work, man.
- 53:16Speaker 1: Those days are just gone. Trump and Obama ended. Everyone
- 53:19Speaker 1: claims Trump divided the nation. No, I think Obama divided
- 53:23Speaker 1: the nation. And then Trump came along. And it became triple,
- 53:26Speaker 1: you know, everyone's hatred and everyone's craziness. But Obama was
- 53:29Speaker 1: the first one to really badly divide the nation according
- 53:32Speaker 1: to your beliefs and your race and everything else. But
- 53:35Speaker 1: it's really gone off the rails now with Trump derangement syndrome.
- 53:39Speaker 1: You're currently asking the Supreme Court to hear a case
- 53:42Speaker 1: about two kids' rights to wear Let's Go Brandon shirts
- 53:46Speaker 1: at school. Tell us more about that case.
- 53:49Speaker 8: That's right.
- 53:50Speaker 6: Right now we have a case that's pending at the
- 53:52Speaker 6: Supreme Court. We're asking the Supreme Court to hear the
- 53:56Speaker 6: case where we are representing two students in West Michigan
- 54:00Speaker 6: who were prevented by their middle school and now their
- 54:02Speaker 6: high school from wearing Let's Go Brandon political sweatshirts to school.
- 54:06Speaker 8: They were non-disruptive.
- 54:08Speaker 6: They did not disrupt any lessons or any activities throughout
- 54:11Speaker 6: the school day. But the school censored the sweatshirts and
- 54:14Speaker 6: prevented them from wearing them anyway on the idea that
- 54:17Speaker 6: Let's Go Brandon is equivalent to sort of the more
- 54:20Speaker 6: profane chant that it comes from.
- 54:22Speaker 8: And in our view, that's silly.
- 54:24Speaker 6: There is a reason why words like heck and shoot
- 54:26Speaker 6: are considered acceptable in polite conversation, while their sort of
- 54:30Speaker 6: corollaries are not. It's silly to think that, for example,
- 54:33Speaker 6: heck means the.
- 54:34Speaker 8: Same thing as hell.
- 54:35Speaker 3: It doesn't.
- 54:36Speaker 6: And going back to our earlier discussion, the Supreme Court
- 54:39Speaker 6: has held that you have a right to peaceful political
- 54:41Speaker 6: expression at school, and that's what that case aims to cement.
- 54:45Speaker 1: Well, that's what America's about. You know, look, I happen
- 54:47Speaker 1: to be Jewish by birth, and I remember in the 1970s,
- 54:52Speaker 1: I think it was 77 if my memory is correct,
- 54:55Speaker 1: but the KKK or the Nazis marched in Skokie, Illinois.
- 54:59Speaker 1: You know, they're kind of the same to me, so
- 55:01Speaker 1: I don't know if they're Nazis or KKK, but they
- 55:03Speaker 1: were marching in Skokie, a very Jewish suburb of Chicago.
- 55:07Speaker 1: And we let them march. And I think, if I'm
- 55:09Speaker 1: not mistaken, it was my good friend Alan Gershowitz, one
- 55:12Speaker 1: of the great lawyers in the world, who is Jewish,
- 55:15Speaker 1: who defended their right to speak. He may hate what
- 55:18Speaker 1: they're saying. He may think it's disgusting, but they have
- 55:22Speaker 1: a right to say it. In America, we allowed them
- 55:25Speaker 1: to march in Skokie. And now we've come all this
- 55:27Speaker 1: circle later, you know, 40, 50 years later. And everyone's
- 55:32Speaker 1: feelings are hurt and everyone's sensibilities are hurt. Everyone's a snowflake.
- 55:36Speaker 1: And whatever you say, it's no good anymore. And you
- 55:39Speaker 1: guys are trying to say, no, everything's OK. You may
- 55:42Speaker 1: hate what they're saying, but they have a right to
- 55:44Speaker 1: say it. Have I got it right?
- 55:46Speaker 8: That's exactly right. There's the old line.
- 55:49Speaker 6: I disagree with what you say, but I will defend
- 55:51Speaker 6: to the death your right to say it.
- 55:52Speaker 8: That's what our First Amendment is all about, and that's
- 55:54Speaker 8: what America.
- 55:55Speaker 3: Is all about.
- 55:56Speaker 1: Exactly. I mean, I think a lot of people got
- 55:57Speaker 1: embarrassed last night during the UFC fight. The guy won
- 56:01Speaker 1: the fight, and he said, by the way, he took
- 56:03Speaker 1: the microphone after he won the fight. He said, by
- 56:05Speaker 1: the way, Michelle Obama's a man. And a lot of
- 56:08Speaker 1: people were like, oh, my God, what a disgusting thing
- 56:09Speaker 1: to say. And it may be a disgusting thing to say,
- 56:12Speaker 1: but you have a right to say it. It's America.
- 56:14Speaker 1: If he wants to say it, he can say it.
- 56:15Speaker 1: If he loses sponsors from it, that's okay, too. If
- 56:18Speaker 1: some people like him because he said it, that's okay, too.
- 56:21Speaker 1: You're allowed to say it in the United States of America,
- 56:24Speaker 1: even if it offends people. Stop being a snowflake. That's
- 56:27Speaker 1: all I can say. We appreciate what you're doing, Connor Fitzpatrick.
- 56:30Speaker 1: We appreciate FIRE, the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression. FIRE.org. FIRE.org.
- 56:38Speaker 1: Thanks for what you're doing. I want everyone to have
- 56:40Speaker 1: the right to say what they want to say. even
- 56:42Speaker 1: if it offends, because you know what? I'm the most
- 56:45Speaker 1: offensive talk show host in America. I say whatever the
- 56:47Speaker 1: hell I want. So I appreciate it. Thank you, Scott.
- 56:50Speaker 1: Thank you, Connor.
- 56:51Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 56:52Speaker 3: All right.
- 56:53Speaker 1: Connor Fitzpatrick from FIRE, FIRE.org, FIRE.org. Earlier in the show,
- 56:59Speaker 1: we had Scott Bottoms, Republican candidate for the governor of Colorado.
- 57:03Speaker 1: Sounded fantastic, but I'm very skeptical any Republican can ever
- 57:06Speaker 1: win in a deep blue state anymore. It's just become impossible.
- 57:10Speaker 1: Because they're all rigged, I'm telling you, completely rigged. They
- 57:13Speaker 1: steal every election. I'm Wayne Allyn Root. Let me mention
- 57:15Speaker 1: on the way out, the sponsor of the show is
- 57:18Speaker 1: Lost Soldier Oil & Gas, the golden age of Trump prosperity,
- 57:21Speaker 1: all about making America the energy capital of the world.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Enter Lost Soldier Oil & Gas, headed by oil and
- 57:27Speaker 1: gas legend Mark Bruner, whose companies have created more than
- 57:31Speaker 1: $ 15 billion in shareholder value. At its peak, his company,
- 57:35Speaker 1: Pettico Energy, grew about 100 to 1, and ultra-petroleum soared 1,000
- 57:41Speaker 1: to 1, a $ 10, 000 investment, turned into $ 13 million over
- 57:45Speaker 1: 10 years. But Lost Soldier could be much bigger than ultra-petroleum.
- 57:49Speaker 1: Did you hear me? Much bigger than ultra-petroleum that soared
- 57:52Speaker 1: from 10,000 to 13 million. It could be the largest
- 57:56Speaker 1: gas discovery in the United States in the past 100 years,
- 58:00Speaker 1: says Mark Bruner. And he says, I can defend that
- 58:02Speaker 1: statement 100%. It's 40,000-acre territory. In Wyoming, that took 40
- 58:07Speaker 1: years to piece together. The first 4,000 feet drilled so far.
- 58:11Speaker 1: Estimated to contain up to 6 trillion cubic feet of gas.
- 58:14Speaker 1: The surge in AI data centers is what's placing this
- 58:17Speaker 1: soaring demand on energy resources. And this is how we
- 58:20Speaker 1: power the AI future of America with inexpensive, clean energy.
- 58:24Speaker 1: Natural gas. Go get them, Lost Soldier. To learn more
- 58:27Speaker 1: about Lost Soldier Oil and Gas, to learn more about

- 58:32Speaker 1: contact form. They'll get right back to you. That's LostSoldier.com.
- 58:36Speaker 1: I believe in it so much. I invested twice last year,
- 58:39Speaker 1: and I intend to do it a third time this year.
- 58:41Speaker 1: I think this is, for me, the big home run
- 58:44Speaker 1: for my retirement. Lost Soldier Oil and Gas at LostSoldier.com. LostSoldier.com.
- 58:50Speaker 1: That's it for tonight's show. See you tomorrow. Same time,

- 1:00:26Speaker 3: The Root's on fire.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: Welcome back. This is Warzone Live. We're the official podcast
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: of the Gateway Pundit. And, Oda, we have a great
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: guest for you today because still, in the end... illegal
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: immigration and boys and girls schools and transgender this and
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: transgender that, the open border. There's a million issues in
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: the world, but to me, the number one issue is
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: making money. I'm like Trump, man, making money's in my DNA,
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: making money's in my blood. I'm always looking for ways
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: to make more money. In the end, that makes an
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: awful lot of problems go away for the nation and
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: for the middle class and for the people of this country.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Making money has got to be our number one goal. Economy, jobs, GDP,
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: That's what really matters. So I got a great guest
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: for you to talk about it. Lost Soldier Oil and
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Gas has been the sponsor of this show for almost
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: a year now. Do you realize? It's been about a
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: year that they've been the sponsor of my podcast, my
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: national radio show, my national TV show on Real America's
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: Voice TV network. And it's really an amazing property. It
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: took 40 years to piece together this 40,000-acre giant gas discovery,
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: estimated to contain up to 6 trillion cubic feet of gas,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: making it one of the largest natural gas discoveries in
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: the Rocky Mountain region in the last 30 years. And
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: they have a management forecast projecting just the first 25
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: wells to produce 400 million cubic feet per day of
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: natural gas. And by 2035, targeted production of over a
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: billion cubic feet a day. An amazing project. And I
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: invested in this project not once but twice last year.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: I intend to invest a third time this year. And
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: I want to introduce you to the project. And I
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: want to introduce you to the guy who is the
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: CEO and the chairman of the board who invented this project,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: Mark Bruner, CEO of Lost Soldier Oil and Gas, the website,
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: by the way, lostsoldier.com, lostsoldier.com. Mark, welcome to the show.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: I haven't had you on in quite a while. You've
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: been running around the world raising money. You've been in Europe.
- 1:02:34Speaker 1: You've been in Switzerland. You've been in Saudi Arabia. You're
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: all over the world. You're an amazing guy. You're always traveling.
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: You're always raising money. You're always running your company. You
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: are a busy man like me. That's hard to nail
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: you down. So it's great to have you back on
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: the show.
- 1:02:49Speaker 5: So wonderful to be with you again, Wayne. Good to
- 1:02:51Speaker 5: see you.
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: All right. So you're a second generation oil and gas man.
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: You're actually a second generation oil and gas legend. Your
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: previous public companies, Penteco Energy, produced about 100 to 1
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: for every dollar invested. Investors and stockholders made $ 100. And
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: Ultra Petroleum, spectacular return for investors. That one was 1,000
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: to 1 for every dollar invested. People got back 1,000.
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: It was one of the biggest stocks of the entire
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: decade of, I think it was the 90s, right? It
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: was the go-go 90s. And that stock was one of
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: the highest flyers on Wall Street. So Lost Soldier is
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: an amazing, amazing company. project, but tell people why it's
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: so amazing, why I guess you think it's even bigger,
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: biggest to your career, that would make it bigger than
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: Penteco or Ultra Petroleum. Ultra Petroleum, a thousand to one
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: return on investment, and you say this is the biggest
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: to your career. What do you base that on?
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: Well, when I compare it with Ultra Petroleum, it has
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: a sequence of regionally pervasive sands where we can see
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: based on the seismic interpretation, we can drill up to
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: 500 horizontal wells so far that we can see. And
- 1:04:04Speaker 5: the other wonderful thing is that no one can drill
- 1:04:07Speaker 5: this for 50 years. We've known where all the basins
- 1:04:10Speaker 5: are for 50 years. All of them have been drilled,
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: as far as I know, except this one. because there's
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: a uranium mine out here that was whenever Three Mile
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: Island melted down in the early 80s. They started reclamating
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: this mine, Kennecott did, three years ago. They finished the reclamation.
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: I got a call.
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: I drilled it. And as they say, the rest is history.
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: Certainly the largest gas field I've ever found. Right now,
- 1:04:35Speaker 5: if you compare it with some of the other basins,
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: there's thousands of feet of layer cake type, regionally pervasive,
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: overpressured sands. It's very much like the Haynesville and the Utica.
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: If any of you have heard of those plays, you've
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: probably heard of a guy named Jerry Jones that owned
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: the Dallas Cowboys. That's like his number one play now, okay,
- 1:04:55Speaker 5: the Western Haynesville. And I would encourage everyone to compare
- 1:04:59Speaker 5: what we have with the Western Haynesville because I think
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: it certainly is comparable. The difference here is we're the
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: only operator. No one else is in here. It's just us.
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: We made the discovery. We have legacy infrastructure that is
- 1:05:15Speaker 5: on its last throes. We can tie into all that
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: legacy infrastructure. We're laying a five-mile line to start producing
- 1:05:22Speaker 5: gas this year. And, you know, the plan is when
- 1:05:25Speaker 5: we finish this private placement to be producing about 400,
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: 500 million cubic feet a day, 300 million a year
- 1:05:33Speaker 5: in cash flow within 36 months. And then we plan
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: to build a 42 to 46 line 50 miles away
- 1:05:41Speaker 5: to the trading hook one center, about 10 times that.
- 1:05:45Speaker 5: There's another guy named Warren Buffett that's looping on that
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: line that's going out to California. So, you know, as
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: you all know, he's no fool. So he's going to
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: send all his gas out to Pacific Corp and the
- 1:05:58Speaker 5: West Coast. So we hope to be able to do that, too. Anyway,
- 1:06:02Speaker 5: that's pretty much a summary, Wayne.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: So give me some new updates, because remember, I'm one
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: of your investors. I invested not once but twice last year.
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: Very big, healthy investments, by the way, from Wainroot. And
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: I plan to invest again this year. What's happened between
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: the last time we spoke on TV, which was probably
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: six months ago, although you've had your president of your
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: company and your COO talking to me on TV as well,
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: but you were busy traveling. Give us some updates from
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: last year. What exciting things have happened? And tell me
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: what will happen this year in the year 2026.
- 1:06:37Speaker 5: Well, I think, you know, one of the things that
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: we've done is that you're always looking for permits to drill.
- 1:06:44Speaker 5: You're always looking for right of ways and other things
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: in order to be able to lay the pipelines. All
- 1:06:50Speaker 5: this is completed, okay? It's finished, okay? And so in,
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: you know, we're going to start building this pipeline sometime
- 1:06:57Speaker 5: in July when what we call the winter stips are
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: off and we can get in here and lay that pipeline.
- 1:07:03Speaker 5: We think it'll take, you know, 45 to 60 days
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: to finish the pipeline. Then we'll be producing gas, okay?
- 1:07:10Speaker 5: So that's going to happen this year. We're very excited
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: about that. The other thing that I think is important
- 1:07:15Speaker 5: is that we have a deal with the federal government.
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: All the leases that we have, they're federal and state leases,
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: they've been put into what we call a federal unit,
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: which means that it's all those different leases, we have
- 1:07:29Speaker 5: like 56 of them, they're one lease now. It means
- 1:07:33Speaker 5: that we can orderly develop this gas field with the
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: cooperation of the federal government. They've stamped the deposit commercial.
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: So all those things have happened. And, yeah, we think
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: we're going to be able to do that. We're hoping
- 1:07:48Speaker 5: to be able to drill some of the deep overpressure
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: horizontals this year, at least one, maybe two of those.
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: We were anticipating 50 million a day plus wells. They're
- 1:08:00Speaker 5: going to be expensive. You know, they're $ 20 million to
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: $ 30 million apiece. But when you're producing those kind of rates,
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: they pay out very quickly. And so, you know, possibly
- 1:08:10Speaker 5: within a year. So something, you know, the field next
- 1:08:13Speaker 5: to us, Wall Soldier Field, which I named my company after,
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: that field's been producing for over 100 years, produced 450
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: million barrels, still does 3,500 barrels a day. And so.
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: Some of the deeper stuff that we're looking for and
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: we think we'll find, we'll find some of those this
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: year as well. So very exciting times for us. And
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: by the way, we also drill more, not drilling for ourselves, Enbridge,
- 1:08:40Speaker 5: which transports about 30% of the natural gas to the
- 1:08:43Speaker 5: United States. And actually, we're entering into a 23 oil
- 1:08:47Speaker 5: contract with them. I think that would speak very highly
- 1:08:50Speaker 5: of our drilling people and their abilities. And, you know,
- 1:08:54Speaker 5: we're very excited about that relationship with them as well.
- 1:08:57Speaker 5: So we're going to be having revenue out of our
- 1:08:59Speaker 5: drilling company. out of our pipeline company, out of our
- 1:09:02Speaker 5: working interests. And those people that invest will also enjoy
- 1:09:06Speaker 5: a package of overriding royalty as well. So Yeah.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: And don't forget, the thing that got me was, you know,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: I have seen a lot of potential in my life.
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: I think this is the most potential I've ever seen.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: But potential is one thing that doesn't mean you ever deliver.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: You have a track record. That's amazing. That's great. Pinnacle,
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: Ultra Petroleum. Very impressive. That was a decision pusher for me.
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: And then, of course, what else can you invest in?
- 1:09:32Speaker 1: Like if I put one hundred thousand dollars into stocks,
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: and those stocks happen to go down, I would get
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: no tax break. It would do nothing for me until
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: the day they went back up. You get a $ 3, 000
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: deduction on stock losses in a given year. But with
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: oil and gas, it's the most generous tax deduction you
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: can ever get. It's 70% write-off the first year you invest.
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: So if I put $ 100, 000 in, I get a $ 70, 000
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: tax deduction on my tax return in the first year
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: and the other 30 over the next, I think, three years, right?
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: So that's pretty impressive.
- 1:10:04Speaker 5: There's been a change. It's 100% now, not 70%.
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:10:09Speaker 5: Under the Trump tax bills, okay?
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: But that's for this year coming up, 2026. Yes, yes.
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: I invested in 2025, so I have to go by
- 1:10:17Speaker 1: the old rules, I assume, yeah?
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: I think the other thing, too, is that the viewers
- 1:10:22Speaker 5: need to realize that we don't have to process any
- 1:10:25Speaker 5: of this. This is 93% methane, CH4. So no processing.
- 1:10:30Speaker 5: We don't have to build any plants. When we put
- 1:10:32Speaker 5: it into the pipeline, it can go directly into homes.
- 1:10:35Speaker 5: We have people contacting us about putting in data centers.
- 1:10:39Speaker 5: There's a lot of options here that we're going to
- 1:10:40Speaker 5: be looking at, Wayne. So we'll keep you updated as
- 1:10:43Speaker 5: things happen this year.
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: All right. Data centers would seem to be the way
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: to go. That's all anyone talks about now is data
- 1:10:49Speaker 1: centers and how much they they use so much energy. Well,
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: you've got the energy for them. So it would seem
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: like would be a profit center. Last thing for accredited
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: investors who want to learn more and get involved. They
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: go to Lost Soldier dot com and then what happens?
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Someone gets back to them.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll get back to them.
- 1:11:07Speaker 5: We'll give them the information so they can access all
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: the information. We'll answer their questions. And, you know, we
- 1:11:14Speaker 5: look at all our investors as a family. The lost
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: soldier family is quite what we need to say.
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: Well, with my big investment, I'd better be a good
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: family member. I'd better be loved. Better be loved, Mark.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: We'll let you move in.
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: We'll let you move in.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Second home in Wyoming. Lostsoldier.com. Lostsoldier.com. Go there. Give them
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: your contact information. They'll get right back to you and
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: show you how you can be involved. It's the right project,
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: right time, the right president, the right energy secretary, the
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: right CEO. Mark Bruner with an incredible, spectacular past record.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Thank you, Mark. Lostsoldier.com.
