Speaker 1: So anyway, um so then when I finally like okay,

Speaker 1: put me on tape, which Andy showed on one of

Speaker 1: his show that he did, and then they came to

Speaker 1: my house and filmed me with Mauricio and they showed

Speaker 1: my kids. And then I was put on hold because

Speaker 1: the network was like, well, why do we do Beverly

Speaker 1: Hills if there's Orange County, isn't it the same? Because

Speaker 1: they were like New Yorkers and we're like they were

Speaker 1: telling them, you know, Beverly Hills, Orange County a very different.

Speaker 1: You know, it's like New York and New Jersey are

Speaker 1: very different. You know, they have different flavors. And so

Speaker 1: they were kind of putting it on a hold, and

Speaker 1: then they got when that my sister Kathy Kim and

Speaker 1: I were going to do a show on another network,

Speaker 1: and then Bravo called and we're like, okay, we'll do

Speaker 1: green light and if you say yes, and that's how

Speaker 1: it happened. I was in the parking lot of Porsches

Speaker 1: pre school. Did Kim come on with you or after you?

Speaker 1: She came on after me, but I called her up

Speaker 1: and I said, um, well, first I kept saying, don't

Speaker 1: you want to meet my sister? And they were like, oh,

Speaker 1: you know New Jersey has like the siblings. We're just

Speaker 1: gonna keep it like friends. And I was like, I

Speaker 1: think that's a mistake. And then I spoke with Doug

Speaker 1: and Alex. I was like, wait a minute, I said,

Speaker 1: I keep telling them they should be with my sister.

Speaker 1: That's when I knew that, you know that I was,

Speaker 1: you know that they had already asked me to do it,

Speaker 1: but there wasn't any other cast members yet. And then

Speaker 1: Doug said, wait, your sister was not a scape to

Speaker 1: it to Mountain And I said yes, and I've been

Speaker 1: telling them they should meet her. And then they said, okay,

Speaker 1: can she them over like tomorrow? I said to him,

Speaker 1: of you that acted young? Did Kathy get into the business,

Speaker 1: was wheeling in the streets of New York City. Um.

Speaker 1: studied at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York,

Speaker 1: so when she had her kids young, she sort of like,

Speaker 1: of the show though, are the girls trips, even though

Speaker 1: I know you guys are great friends, Like does that

Speaker 1: anybody is like home, digging of stuff and trying to

Speaker 1: felt like that, it felt it was terrible. It was

Speaker 1: so anxiety provoking and you're always like you're watching your back.

Speaker 1: It's horrible. So it's a very different environment now. Um,

Speaker 1: and you know it's say drama, but just like we're

Speaker 1: just dealing with what we're what we're dealing with. The

Speaker 1: table and ratings are great, you guys are with the

Speaker 1: number one rated, Yes, so I think everyone feels and

Speaker 1: which I also think that times have changed changed and

Speaker 1: women on our show are really supportive of each other.

Speaker 1: I just said, like, I feel like in Beverly Hills

Speaker 1: you do have this relationship with everybody where you really

Speaker 1: don't want to hurt them. You don't want to hurt

Speaker 1: their livelihood. You want to support their businesses, you want

Speaker 1: to lift you know, like even though we are fighting

Speaker 1: your kids, your husband, your dog, your mother. Like it's

Speaker 1: too much. Like it's the point where you're like at home,

Speaker 1: and who's attacking you. And the problem is like somebody
