  Speaker 1: Our scripture is going to be confirmed Romans fifteen and thirteen.

  Speaker 1: Y'all sit up already this morning, good Lord, Romans fifteen

  Speaker 1: It's say, made the God of Hope fill you with

  Speaker 1: all joy peace as you trust him, so that you
• 4:32
  Speaker 1: may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

  Speaker 1: I'm gonna read that again, made the God of Hope
• 4:39
  Speaker 1: fill you with all joy and peace as you trust him,
• 4:45
  Speaker 1: so that you may overflow with hope by the power
• 4:50
  Speaker 1: of the Holy Spirit. Hope is a gift from God,
• 4:59
  Speaker 1: the that fills us with peace and joy. When challenges
• 5:04
  Speaker 1: of life threaten to overwhelm us, God offers us hope
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: through his presence and his promise. True hope isn't wish
• 5:12
  Speaker 1: for thinking or blind optimism. It is confidence grounded in
• 5:18
  Speaker 1: the character and faithfulness of God. Through the Holy Spirit,
• 5:24
  Speaker 1: hope springs up even in our hearty season, giving us strength,
• 5:29
  Speaker 1: peace and perseverance. The word of the day is promise, y'all. Promise.

  Speaker 1: God's promises are the foundation for our hope. Every time
• 5:42
  Speaker 1: God speaks, he gives us something solid to stand on,
• 5:47
  Speaker 1: truth that cannot fail. When we remember his promises, our
• 5:52
  Speaker 1: hope is rekindled knowing that the one who promised is faithful.

  Speaker 1: Let God's promises be your anchor on today, when life's uncertainty,
• 6:08
  Speaker 1: open its word, open his word, and remember what He's
• 6:12
  Speaker 1: spoken over you. Promises of protection, provision, purpose, eternal life.

  Speaker 1: As you trust his promise, hope will spring up again
• 6:25
  Speaker 1: and again, reminding you that your story is still unfolding
• 6:30
  Speaker 1: in his hands. I want to share a little backstory
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: on the scripture for today, Romans fifteen and thirteen. It
• 6:43
  Speaker 1: is found near the close of the apostle Paul's letter
• 6:47
  Speaker 1: to the Church in Roman, a diverse gathering of Jews, Gentiles,
• 6:52
  Speaker 1: and Christian living in the heart of the ancient Empire.
• 6:56
  Speaker 1: Throughout this letter, Paul was painstaking explained in the Gospel,
• 7:02
  Speaker 1: emphasizing how faith is Jesus, how faith in Jesus bring
• 7:08
  Speaker 1: people from every background together as one under God. In
• 7:13
  Speaker 1: this context, Paul is addressing the theme of unity amidst diversity.
• 7:21
  Speaker 1: He urges believer to accept one another just as Christ
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: accepted them in the scripture, reference Romans fifteen and seventeen.
• 7:30
  Speaker 1: He said, if we can reference the Old Testament, promise
• 7:35
  Speaker 1: to show that God's salvation and hope are all for
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: all people, not just a few people, not just for
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: a certain group. It is for all people, not just
• 7:45
  Speaker 1: one nation, and not just one group, y'all. As Paul
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: prepares to conclude his letter, he offers the heartfelt prayer,
• 7:54
  Speaker 1: may the God of Hope fill you with our joy,
• 7:57
  Speaker 1: peace and trust in Him, so that you may overflow
• 8:01
  Speaker 1: with hope and the power of the Holy Spirit. Why
• 8:06
  Speaker 1: this matters, God is a source. Paul calls God the
• 8:12
  Speaker 1: God of Hope, reminding his readers that hope isn't a
• 8:16
  Speaker 1: wish for thinking, but it is a source in God himself.
• 8:21
  Speaker 1: This hope isn't just for eternity, it is meant to
• 8:24
  Speaker 1: be experienced now, powered by the Holy Spirit and overflowing
• 8:29
  Speaker 1: in the hearts and lives. In the first century Roman
• 8:34
  Speaker 1: Christians live in a world full of prosecution, uncertainty, and
• 8:39
  Speaker 1: interpersonal conflict. Paul's message was not only for unity, but
• 8:43
  Speaker 1: it was for encouragement, the same encouragement believers need today.
• 8:50
  Speaker 1: In Romans fifteen and thirteen, Paul's Blessings and Prayers encourages
• 8:56
  Speaker 1: believers to trust God so deeply that the Holy Spirit
• 9:00
  Speaker 1: will feel your heart and it will be unshakable with
• 9:05
  Speaker 1: overflowing hope, joy, peace, no matter what your circumstances are.
• 9:13
  Speaker 1: So no matter what you're facing today, you may be
• 9:16
  Speaker 1: going through loss, you may be going through confusion, set back, uncertainties,
• 9:22
  Speaker 1: but know that God desires that we live with hope.
• 9:26
  Speaker 1: This hope is not based on what we see, but
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: on who God is and what he has said. We
• 9:36
  Speaker 1: gotta trust his word, We gotta take him for his word. Y'all.
• 9:40
  Speaker 1: I'm gonna share a story that shows us unshakable hope,
• 9:47
  Speaker 1: and it's the story of abrahams Imagine living your entire
• 9:52
  Speaker 1: life longing for one thing a child. Abraham and his
• 9:57
  Speaker 1: wife Sarah carried this hope for years after year, Yet
• 10:02
  Speaker 1: as decades slipped by their hands turned, their hair turned gray,
• 10:07
  Speaker 1: their dreams of children seemed to fade far away. Sarah
• 10:12
  Speaker 1: was unable to conceive, and now Abraham neared one hundred
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: years old. Logics and biologics would say it was impossible,
• 10:22
  Speaker 1: But God appeared to Abraham with an extravagant promise. You
• 10:27
  Speaker 1: would be the father of many nations. I would give
• 10:30
  Speaker 1: you descendants as many as the star and the sky.
• 10:34
  Speaker 1: Humanly speaking, it may seem no sense, and it made
• 10:38
  Speaker 1: no sense. How could too elderly, childless people begin a family.
• 10:45
  Speaker 1: Every circumstance told Abraham to give up. Yet against all hope,
• 10:51
  Speaker 1: Abraham hoped and believed Romans fourteen and eighteen. Abraham's faith
• 10:57
  Speaker 1: wasn't rooted in what he could see or feed. He
• 11:01
  Speaker 1: chose to believe in God's power. The Bible tells us
• 11:07
  Speaker 1: that Abraham did not waiver through unbelief regardless of the
• 11:12
  Speaker 1: promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and
• 11:16
  Speaker 1: gave glory to God, fully persuaded that God had power
• 11:21
  Speaker 1: to do whatever he promised. Romans forty twenty and twenty one.
• 11:27
  Speaker 1: Romans four twenty and twenty one. Year after year, they
• 11:32
  Speaker 1: waited and waited, and continued to wait. Sometimes Abraham stumbled
• 11:40
  Speaker 1: he was human after all, but hope kept rising in
• 11:45
  Speaker 1: his heart. Finally, finally, just as God had said, the
• 11:51
  Speaker 1: impossible happened. Sarah gave birth to Isaac, the miracle Child.
• 11:58
  Speaker 1: Through Isaac, Abraham became the father of countless descendants, shaping
• 12:04
  Speaker 1: the story of God's people forever. Abraham's life shouts a
• 12:10
  Speaker 1: powerful message. God's hope stands strong even when every fact
• 12:16
  Speaker 1: streams is over. God's hope is not wish for thieves.
• 12:21
  Speaker 1: But trust that God who promised, is always faithful. Even
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: if your situation feel hopeless, Remember Abraham. Set Remember Abraham,
• 12:32
  Speaker 1: and set your eyes not on what you see, but
• 12:38
  Speaker 1: on the one who reigns over the impossible. As you
• 12:42
  Speaker 1: hope in him, watch how he moves and weighs beyond
• 12:47
  Speaker 1: your wildest dream. Remember in Romans eighteen and twenty one
• 12:55
  Speaker 1: Romans fourteen, eighteen and twenty one, y'all against all hope,
• 13:00
  Speaker 1: Abraham and hope believed, and so because the father of
• 13:06
  Speaker 1: many nations, he did not waver through unbelief, being fully
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: persuaded that God had the power to do what he promised.
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: Let this story fuel your hope. God is the same, yesterday, today,
• 13:23
  Speaker 1: and forever. He fulfilled his promise to Abraham, and he
• 13:27
  Speaker 1: will fulfill his promise to you. Remember, hope brings joy
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: and peace. Fill you with all joy and peace as
• 13:37
  Speaker 1: you trust in him. It's scripture, y'all. It's a promise.
• 13:41
  Speaker 1: It's not just words in the Bible. Y'all. Everything, I
• 13:44
  Speaker 1: don't care where you are. Understand this, that the word
• 13:48
  Speaker 1: in that Bible is true, and it will do exactly
• 13:51
  Speaker 1: what he said and would do. Y'all, He will meet
• 13:54
  Speaker 1: you in your need. God knows us, He knows everything
• 13:57
  Speaker 1: about us. When we come into the knowledge, we have
• 14:00
  Speaker 1: to we have to act upon it. We have to
• 14:02
  Speaker 1: apply it to our life so that we can see
• 14:04
  Speaker 1: it manifests in our life. He's given us power. He's
• 14:07
  Speaker 1: given us power. And Proverbs eighteen and twenty one. If
• 14:10
  Speaker 1: you go over there and you read it, I don't know,
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: they may not be the right scripture, because y'all know,
• 14:13
  Speaker 1: I ain't no Bible doller, I ain't no theologian. I
• 14:17
  Speaker 1: don't walk to no office. I don't do nothing of that.
• 14:19
  Speaker 1: I just share my experiences and that that He's done
• 14:21
  Speaker 1: for me and hopes that you will be blessed by
• 14:24
  Speaker 1: something and say, Okay, well I can do this too,
• 14:26
  Speaker 1: because if he did it for a wrench like me, huh,
• 14:29
  Speaker 1: he'll do it for you. Because who am I? I
• 14:31
  Speaker 1: am nobody. I am nobody, huh. Just trying to make it,
• 14:35
  Speaker 1: just trying to make it, just trying, just trying to
• 14:38
  Speaker 1: be that daughter that He's called me to be. So
• 14:41
  Speaker 1: understand this that when your hope is anker in in God,
• 14:46
  Speaker 1: it will produce deep joy and peace regardless of what's
• 14:49
  Speaker 1: happening around you. Hope comes from the Holy Spirit. Romans
• 14:54
  Speaker 1: fifteen and thirteen says, so that you may overflow with
• 14:57
  Speaker 1: hope by the power of the Hope is not something
• 15:01
  Speaker 1: that we monster up on our own, but it's a
• 15:03
  Speaker 1: gift and power by the Holy Spirit within us, y'all,
• 15:06
  Speaker 1: is something within us. Hope will sustain you in difficult times.
• 15:11
  Speaker 1: If you go over to Limitations three, twenty one and
• 15:13
  Speaker 1: twenty three, it says, yet this I call to mine.
• 15:17
  Speaker 1: Therefore I have hope because the Lord great love, we
• 15:21
  Speaker 1: are not consumed. Because of His great love, we are
• 15:27
  Speaker 1: not consumed. Even in the darkest moment. Recall God's faithfulness,
• 15:32
  Speaker 1: love and revive your hope. How Can we apply this
• 15:37
  Speaker 1: to our life daily? Every morning you can pray and
• 15:42
  Speaker 1: ask God for hope. You can pray Psalms. Forty two
• 15:46
  Speaker 1: and five. Put your hope in God, for I will
• 15:50
  Speaker 1: yet praise him. Just give him praise regardless of what.
• 15:54
  Speaker 1: Trust him. Know that his word is true and his
• 15:58
  Speaker 1: word is not going to return to him voice. Begin
• 16:01
  Speaker 1: your day by asking God to fill you with hope
• 16:03
  Speaker 1: and let and help you to see your day through
• 16:06
  Speaker 1: his promises. Begin your day by asking God to fill
• 16:10
  Speaker 1: you with hope. Encourage others with word of hope. First,
• 16:16
  Speaker 1: that'salonely in five and eleven. Therefore, encourage one another to
• 16:19
  Speaker 1: build each other up, share uplifting scriptures, or give hope
• 16:24
  Speaker 1: feel encouragement to someone else other than yourself. And then
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: you got to learn how to speak and declare hope
• 16:31
  Speaker 1: over your life. Hebrews ten and twenty three. It said,
• 16:35
  Speaker 1: let us hold unswervingly to hope that we profess for
• 16:40
  Speaker 1: he who promises it's faithful. Remind yourself of God's promises
• 16:45
  Speaker 1: and speak them aloud when you get discouraged. Y'all, hope
• 16:51
  Speaker 1: is more than a feeling. It is God's gifts for
• 16:54
  Speaker 1: us and power through his Holy Spirit. When we trust him,
• 17:00
  Speaker 1: hope overflows into peace and joy no matter our circumstance.
• 17:07
  Speaker 1: By remembering his faithfulness, encouraging and building up one another,
• 17:13
  Speaker 1: and declaring his promises, we can live each day anchored
• 17:18
  Speaker 1: in hope, no matter what this week holds. Y'all, Know
• 17:23
  Speaker 1: that you serve the God of hope, who feels you
• 17:26
  Speaker 1: to overflow with joy and peace. Let His hope be
• 17:32
  Speaker 1: anchored in you, in your God on today. You are
• 17:37
  Speaker 1: never alone. God's Spirit within you is your unending source
• 17:43
  Speaker 1: of hope. Step into your week expecting to see God's
• 17:47
  Speaker 1: goodness in a brand new way. Expect something different. Be
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: expecting every day that you read that you wake up. Y'all.
• 17:56
  Speaker 1: He has so many promises for us. Go over if
• 18:00
  Speaker 1: you don't know, just open the Bible. Just go over
• 18:04
  Speaker 1: there and just read his word and apply it to
• 18:08
  Speaker 1: your life, y'all. His word is true, and it's not
• 18:11
  Speaker 1: gonna return to him. Boyd, y'all, He's gonna watch over
• 18:14
  Speaker 1: it and to its performed and perfected in each and
• 18:17
  Speaker 1: every one of our lives. Y'all. He has some respective person,
• 18:21
  Speaker 1: just as he raised me up out my better affliction
• 18:23
  Speaker 1: than many of you that may be tuned in what

  Speaker 1: he done for you, he doing for the next person.

  Speaker 1: And if he done it once, twice, three, four, five times,

  Speaker 1: I can't say how many times that he showed up

  Speaker 1: and showed out in my life. When when I didn't

  Speaker 1: even love myself, he loved me, y'all, when I was

  Speaker 1: deep in my sin. He saw fit that bring me

  Speaker 1: out because he knew that this day would be this day,

  Speaker 1: and he knew who he would need to have in place,
• 18:50
  Speaker 1: each and every one of us. We have a gift
• 18:52
  Speaker 1: of talent that he's given us, that he's placed on
• 18:54
  Speaker 1: the inside of us, so that it can help produce
• 18:58
  Speaker 1: that hope, y'all. If we go over to Jeremiah twenty
• 19:01
  Speaker 1: nine and eleven, he promised, he declared in his word,
• 19:05
  Speaker 1: he said, he declared that he had a promise for
• 19:08
  Speaker 1: you and me, and it was not to harm us,
• 19:13
  Speaker 1: but it was to prosper us, for us to be
• 19:15
  Speaker 1: in good health and for us to have hope in
• 19:19
  Speaker 1: the future. Y'all. His word is not returning to him. Lord,
• 19:22
  Speaker 1: He's gonna watch over that thing and to us perform
• 19:26
  Speaker 1: and perfected in each and every one of our lives.

  Speaker 1: So I don't care what it looked like today. I
• 19:32
  Speaker 1: want you to trust him and know that he's yet

  Speaker 1: promised us. So but Father, we got to grace this day.
