- 0:01Speaker 1: Now sor presents Mark own Shaw.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Well just wait, hang on, just checking this breaking news here.
- 0:19Speaker 2: John Bolton. You know, he pled guilty to a couple
- 0:23Speaker 2: of charges. Apparently there's more charges and this just breaking.
- 0:28Speaker 2: Bolton will plead guilty to them too. Bolton will plead
- 0:32Speaker 2: guilty to everything. You know why, because he's guilty of everything.
- 0:36Speaker 2: And you remember all your left wing crazies, all your
- 0:40Speaker 2: left wing commentators, all your fake news kept telling you
- 0:44Speaker 2: that the charges against Bolton, why it was just drummed
- 0:48Speaker 2: up Trump going after a political enemy. What was law fair?
- 0:52Speaker 2: Just phony charges to target a political opponent. Well, no,
- 0:55Speaker 2: they were all pretty accurate. They were all totally accurate
- 0:58Speaker 2: because Bolton has agreed to plead guilty to all of them.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Reason you plead guilty is after you've worked with your
- 1:05Speaker 2: lawyers for a while and they tell you there is
- 1:08Speaker 2: absolutely no way to beat these charges. You're going to
- 1:10Speaker 2: get convicted, So you plead guilty, you know, save the
- 1:15Speaker 2: expense of a trial for the state, and then they
- 1:17Speaker 2: give you a little lighter sentence. So I don't know
- 1:19Speaker 2: if he'll go to jail. You know, they could come
- 1:22Speaker 2: up with all kinds of other things that there was
- 1:24Speaker 2: already a massive fine on him, but Bolton to plead guilty.
- 1:30Speaker 2: It's going to be a kind of a tough weekend.
- 1:32Speaker 2: It's Friday, already tough weekend for the fake news, especially
- 1:36Speaker 2: the Sunday shows. They're looking for things to attack President
- 1:38Speaker 2: Trump over straight. Oh, hor Moose has been pretty much
- 1:42Speaker 2: open for the last few weeks. So there was a
- 1:44Speaker 2: shooting at a ship was targeted. That's one ship, but meantime,
- 1:49Speaker 2: you know, forty or fifty been coming through, so they'll
- 1:52Speaker 2: use that. It's not that exciting. So I think they're
- 1:59Speaker 2: going to be down to the Reflecting Pool. That's going
- 2:01Speaker 2: to be like a big issue. You know, every Sunday morning.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Of course all day long on CNN and MSN, NBC,
- 2:08Speaker 2: they got to attack him day and night. But the
- 2:09Speaker 2: Sunday shows they got to come up with some real attacks.
- 2:13Speaker 2: And it's going to be Reflecting Pool kind of stuff.
- 2:16Speaker 2: You know, to most Americans, they're really not concerned that
- 2:19Speaker 2: there was some algae in a pool in Washington, d C.
- 2:23Speaker 2: The Reflecting Pool is a beautiful thing. It's a beautiful monument.
- 2:26Speaker 2: But during the Obama Biden years, it was total disaster.
- 2:31Speaker 2: It was absolute shambles. A total mess. It was all
- 2:36Speaker 2: dirty and filthy and discussing. That's why President Trump decided
- 2:40Speaker 2: to fix it. But for all those years that it
- 2:42Speaker 2: was totally totally crumbling, decaying, no coverage of it, all,
- 2:46Speaker 2: no mention of it. And now they're going after President
- 2:49Speaker 2: Trump left and right now trying to make it look
- 2:51Speaker 2: like he doesn't know what he's doing. Do you realize
- 2:53Speaker 2: the odds of this? What a coincidence is this? At
- 2:56Speaker 2: the time the pool needs fixing, you happen to have
- 2:59Speaker 2: a president in the world White House who's an expert
- 3:02Speaker 2: on building swimming pools. He's built about four hundred of
- 3:05Speaker 2: them in his lifetime all over the world. There are
- 3:08Speaker 2: the odds of that when you need it fixed, the
- 3:11Speaker 2: guy in office is a swimming pool builder for years,
- 3:15Speaker 2: for forty years, he's been building swimming pools. He knows
- 3:17Speaker 2: all the best swimming pool companies, and when it comes
- 3:20Speaker 2: to building stuff, he's very hands on. He knows every
- 3:22Speaker 2: detail of everything. So he's built plenty of pools. Now,
- 3:26Speaker 2: you got the It was at the New York Times
- 3:28Speaker 2: the other day. They apparently the reporter stuck a cup
- 3:31Speaker 2: in there and got a cupful of water out of
- 3:33Speaker 2: that pool and they said, we took it to a
- 3:36Speaker 2: swimming pool company, a pool company, and they analyzed it
- 3:40Speaker 2: for us, and they said it's not the proper pH level,
- 3:42Speaker 2: like they even know what they're doing. And who knows
- 3:45Speaker 2: what pool company they found. You know, those Sunday shows
- 3:49Speaker 2: always have Hakeem Jeffries on, and Schumer tries to get
- 3:54Speaker 2: on them. They don't like to have him on too
- 3:55Speaker 2: much because he's so decrepit looking. But Hakeem Jeffries is
- 3:59Speaker 2: on every and he's attacking the president left and right.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Now here's the problem for these guys, Hakeem Jeffries. I
- 4:06Speaker 2: don't know where he really stands. He pretends to be
- 4:09Speaker 2: a huge Trump hater. He pretends to be a far
- 4:12Speaker 2: left Trump derangement syndrome lunatic. But I think it's kind
- 4:18Speaker 2: of an act. You know, he stands there very robotic
- 4:20Speaker 2: and recites memorized stuff. Schumer, you know, is a complete phony.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Schumer doesn't believe in anything. Nothing. Schumer just pandering to
- 4:30Speaker 2: the crowd, cheap hustling, pandering, fake politician, reading those index cards.
- 4:35Speaker 2: Every word out of his mouth was written by a
- 4:39Speaker 2: bunch of staffers. In anything they put in front of
- 4:41Speaker 2: him he's reading, so he's totally inauthentic. Now, the problem
- 4:44Speaker 2: is today's young Democrats, these crazy Mom Donnie voting aoc loving,
- 4:52Speaker 2: these kind of crazy socialist left wing Democrats. The one
- 4:56Speaker 2: thing they want is authenticity. They want a lot of
- 5:00Speaker 2: crazy stuff, but they want their crazies to be authentic.
- 5:03Speaker 2: And you look at a guy like Mom Donnie, he
- 5:05Speaker 2: looks authentic, he looks like he really believes this nonsense. Schumer,
- 5:11Speaker 2: Hakeem Jeffries pretend that they believe it. But it's not
- 5:14Speaker 2: fooling these younger people. They know these are old fossils
- 5:17Speaker 2: just pretending. So they're now calling. In fact, most of
- 5:21Speaker 2: the new breed of Democrats in the Congress are now
- 5:25Speaker 2: calling for new leadership Democrats calling for Hakeem Jeffries to
- 5:29Speaker 2: be out as the leader, calling for Schumer to be
- 5:32Speaker 2: out as the leader. They want to get some real, actual,
- 5:36Speaker 2: authentic people to lead them. Now here's a good example
- 5:40Speaker 2: of a totally inauthentic Kathy Hochel. Now she was put
- 5:45Speaker 2: in there by Andrew Cuomo. Another horrible thing Cuomo did
- 5:48Speaker 2: to New York. Besides all the terrible things he did,
- 5:51Speaker 2: the no crime, no bail, no jail, you know, the
- 5:54Speaker 2: closing the prisons, closing Indian Point, all the horrible things
- 5:57Speaker 2: he did. He gave us Kathy Hochel, who's just a total,
- 6:01Speaker 2: mediocre nothing governor who just panders and plays along. She's
- 6:06Speaker 2: trying to pretend now she's a left wing democrat, socialist,
- 6:12Speaker 2: but totally inauthentic. Nobody believes anything she looks like. Looks
- 6:17Speaker 2: like one of those real estate women in the suburbs,
- 6:19Speaker 2: you know, nail pounding the sign into the ground in
- 6:21Speaker 2: front of the house, one of those one of those
- 6:24Speaker 2: real estate agents you don't trust. She's got that look
- 6:26Speaker 2: about her. But just to show you how inauthentic she is,
- 6:31Speaker 2: Buffalo the game. She's trying to start pretending she's a
- 6:36Speaker 2: fan of Buffalo. She's not a sports fan at all.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Remember she pretended she's a football fan. She pretends she's
- 6:44Speaker 2: a soccer fan. So she's trying to lead the crowd
- 6:47Speaker 2: in a chance. She's trying to get the crowd to
- 6:49Speaker 2: cheer for Buffalo. They're not buying it. They know she's
- 6:52Speaker 2: a phony, fake fraud. They're nobody's chanting along with it.
- 6:55Speaker 2: This is the most pathetic thing ever listened to.
- 6:58Speaker 3: This Let's get this parties jar, let's go. Let's go Buffalo.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Let's go Buffalo. Let's go Buffalo. All right, seriously, you want,
- 7:09Speaker 3: you want. You're gonna win a championship season with that
- 7:12Speaker 3: kind of enthusiasm. Men and women of labor, you know
- 7:15Speaker 3: what I'm talking about. Let's go Buffalo. Let's go Buffalo.
- 7:20Speaker 3: We gotta get his play some good karma.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Right, nobody's chatting with it at the end of you
- 7:25Speaker 2: here a few, but that's your staff. It's pathetic.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Let's get this party's jar, let's go. Let's go Buffalo.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Let's go Buffalo. Let's go Buffalo.
- 7:38Speaker 4: All right.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Seriously, Yeah, they don't like you, they don't trust you,
- 7:41Speaker 2: they don't believe you. They think you're a fake, a phony,
- 7:44Speaker 2: a fraud. So Bruce Blakeman, I think he's got a
- 7:48Speaker 2: hell of a good chance. We'll get the best poster
- 7:50Speaker 2: in the world coming up later in the show. We'll
- 7:52Speaker 2: get some some real intel on that Bruce Blakeman should
- 7:56Speaker 2: be the governor. Vote for him in November. Bruce Blakeman
- 8:00Speaker 2: and the only thing I could save this. Also, you
- 8:03Speaker 2: need a real solid guy like that to stand up
- 8:06Speaker 2: to mom. Donnie Alvin Bragg all that stuff. Hey, by
- 8:11Speaker 2: the way, next week, fourth of July next it's hard
- 8:14Speaker 2: to believe. It's the fourth of July. Next week, next weekend,
- 8:18Speaker 2: so a week from today that would be July third,
- 8:23Speaker 2: and a week from yesterday. So coming up this coming
- 8:26Speaker 2: week Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Taylor Swift takes over Madison Square Garden.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Apparently this is gonna be a three day thing and
- 8:36Speaker 2: it's gonna disrupt everything. They're talking. They got the permits
- 8:40Speaker 2: filed for street closures, just like with the Knicks games
- 8:43Speaker 2: closing Madison Square Garden and the surrounding blocks. It's going
- 8:47Speaker 2: to be a disaster for traffic. And if you're trying
- 8:50Speaker 2: to get to Penn Station, I don't know how that's
- 8:51Speaker 2: gonna work. But apparently here's the deal. On July second,
- 8:56Speaker 2: she's gonna get married to Ravis Kelsey. It's gonna they're
- 9:01Speaker 2: describing it as an intimate ceremony, and you're saying intimate
- 9:05Speaker 2: Madison Square Garden. Well, apparently it's only going to be
- 9:07Speaker 2: one hundred people family, one hundred people just family for
- 9:11Speaker 2: the intimate wedding that's on July second. Then on July third,
- 9:16Speaker 2: the next day, that'll be a week from today, Friday,
- 9:19Speaker 2: they're going to do a party for two thousand people.
- 9:22Speaker 2: That'll be in Madison Square Garden, which holds like twenty
- 9:25Speaker 2: five thousand people, So it's gonna feel intimate in the garden.
- 9:29Speaker 2: But that'll be about two thousand people. But they've filed
- 9:32Speaker 2: permits for street closures for all sorts of stuff. In fact,
- 9:36Speaker 2: they'll be closing an entire block to set just to
- 9:39Speaker 2: set up a tent outside Madison Square Garden. I assume
- 9:42Speaker 2: the tent is to check people in. You'll pull up
- 9:47Speaker 2: and go into the tent, which will be closed. That way,
- 9:49Speaker 2: nobody can see in, people can't take pictures. So just
- 9:53Speaker 2: remember if you're trying to get anywhere near the garden,
- 9:55Speaker 2: penn station, or anything. Next Thursday, Friday, Saturday, it's going
- 10:01Speaker 2: to be a disaster. Next week is fourth of July,
- 10:06Speaker 2: and it's more than that, it's the two hundred and
- 10:08Speaker 2: fiftieth birthday of America. It'll be celebrating America, the flag,
- 10:13Speaker 2: our country. So be nice to your liberal friends. It's
- 10:16Speaker 2: going to be a very tough week for them. They
- 10:18Speaker 2: don't like this, they don't like celebrating America. They don't
- 10:23Speaker 2: like the fireworks. They don't like any of this. It's
- 10:25Speaker 2: gonna be a very, very upsetting week for them. And
- 10:29Speaker 2: if you have Apple products, if you're like me and
- 10:33Speaker 2: you'll love Apple, and you got an Apple iPhone, you
- 10:35Speaker 2: got an iPad, you got a Mac, and you know,
- 10:40Speaker 2: coming into the time of year where the new stuff
- 10:41Speaker 2: comes out, there's going to be a huge price increase.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Apple price increase up to five hundred dollars increase on
- 10:48Speaker 2: some things. They're having a big problem getting chips now.
- 10:52Speaker 2: The problem is AI uses up all these memory chips
- 10:56Speaker 2: and all these chips that they need, and normally Apple
- 11:01Speaker 2: doesn't have to worry about that stuff. Apple is such
- 11:03Speaker 2: a big buyer. They have such incredible buying power that
- 11:07Speaker 2: they're always first in line and even when there's a shortage,
- 11:10Speaker 2: they can always get the stuff before anybody else. Well,
- 11:13Speaker 2: that's all changed. The big, big, big AI companies buy
- 11:16Speaker 2: so much of this stuff, much more than Apple. They
- 11:19Speaker 2: got more buying power than Apple. So Apple has gone
- 11:22Speaker 2: to the back of the line, having trouble keeping that
- 11:25Speaker 2: supply chain, going having trouble getting the stuff they need.
- 11:30Speaker 2: So it's going to be a different era. Apple stock
- 11:33Speaker 2: dropping a bit because it's again, a whole different world
- 11:37Speaker 2: for them hanging. I'm looking for the price of oil,
- 11:40Speaker 2: just talking about price increases. You know, with things settling
- 11:44Speaker 2: down in Iran, stock market is way up. Uh oh.
- 11:49Speaker 2: If you're a Democrat, you might want to turn off
- 11:52Speaker 2: the radio for a minute, not going to want to
- 11:54Speaker 2: hear this. Oil is back down in the sixties, sixty
- 11:58Speaker 2: nine dollars a barrel. It's pre Iran war price sixty
- 12:02Speaker 2: nine dollars a barrel. Average gas price is down to
- 12:06Speaker 2: about three dollars eighty five cents. Now, you got to
- 12:09Speaker 2: remember when things are settled in the strait is open
- 12:12Speaker 2: and the oil is flowing. Price of oil it's a commodity,
- 12:16Speaker 2: you know, the barrels of oil, that's a commodity, So
- 12:19Speaker 2: that drops immediately. But for to get to the pump,
- 12:23Speaker 2: the gas pumps where for the price coming, that's a
- 12:25Speaker 2: delay that lags by a couple of weeks. So pretty
- 12:29Speaker 2: and it might even happen next week. You may see
- 12:31Speaker 2: it down to three point fifty a gallon by next week.
- 12:34Speaker 2: But oil for the first time back in the sixties,
- 12:37Speaker 2: it's sixty nine dollars right now. Price of oil way down.
- 12:42Speaker 2: And if you're a Democrat, you can turn your radio
- 12:44Speaker 2: back on. We didn't want to upset you with that.
- 12:46Speaker 2: Sorry about that. Mets fired their manager, Okay, I mean
- 12:52Speaker 2: somebody's got to take the blame. It's a bad season.
- 12:55Speaker 2: The problem is you get these guys like Steve Cohen
- 13:00Speaker 2: who make billions, billions, so many billions in a hedge fund.
- 13:04Speaker 2: What are you doing a hedge fund? You got to
- 13:06Speaker 2: know what stocks to buy and trade commodities stocks, You
- 13:09Speaker 2: got to know all kinds of financial stuff. So guys
- 13:13Speaker 2: like this think, well, if I did that, I know
- 13:14Speaker 2: how to run anything. But just because you know how
- 13:16Speaker 2: to trade stock doesn't mean you know anything about how
- 13:19Speaker 2: to run a baseball team. And that's the problem. So
- 13:21Speaker 2: it's not just Tim. You get a lot of owners
- 13:23Speaker 2: like this. He's not the worst, you know, Woody Johnson
- 13:26Speaker 2: has set the all time record worst owner in the
- 13:28Speaker 2: history of sports. Totally destroyed the New York Jets, absolutely
- 13:34Speaker 2: destroyed it. And it's fascinating to watch these guys because normally,
- 13:40Speaker 2: if you started doing something and you were really bad
- 13:44Speaker 2: at it and you kept losing and it was awful,
- 13:47Speaker 2: you might after a while, after a couple of years,
- 13:49Speaker 2: if you're Woody Johnson say, you know, I don't know
- 13:52Speaker 2: what the hell I'm doing. I better get out of
- 13:53Speaker 2: this or hand this over to somebody who does. But
- 13:57Speaker 2: if you're a multi billionaire just over confident, you think
- 14:01Speaker 2: I'll figure it out. So now you gott remember one
- 14:05Speaker 2: thing about George Steinbrenner, and everybody forgets about this little
- 14:09Speaker 2: piece of the puzzle. He was very successful with this,
- 14:12Speaker 2: but the reason is he didn't do anything else for
- 14:16Speaker 2: a living. You know, all these guys do something else
- 14:18Speaker 2: for a living. They run massive businesses, empires all day long.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Every owner of every baseball team does something else for
- 14:26Speaker 2: a living. All day long, they work on it, and
- 14:28Speaker 2: then about four o'clock in the afternoon, for the last
- 14:31Speaker 2: hour of the day, then the baseball people come in
- 14:33Speaker 2: and they go over the baseball stuff for an hour
- 14:36Speaker 2: a day. Steinbrenner was in the shipping business when he
- 14:39Speaker 2: bought the Yankees, but a couple of years into the Yankees,
- 14:42Speaker 2: he sold off the business, sold the shipping business off,
- 14:45Speaker 2: he had other businesses, turned him over to his sons.
- 14:48Speaker 2: So then for the rest of all those decades he
- 14:51Speaker 2: did nothing else except nine ten hours a day worked
- 14:55Speaker 2: on baseball. Nothing else, just that So that's the problem.
- 14:59Speaker 2: If you're see Cone or somebody else, you're going to
- 15:01Speaker 2: have to give up everything else. Immerse yourself into baseball,
- 15:05Speaker 2: do nothing but meet with baseball experts all day and
- 15:08Speaker 2: night and get yourself a little more educated. Hey, we'll
- 15:11Speaker 2: take some calls. Next. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 15:15Speaker 2: seven ten is the number. Eight hundred three two one
- 15:19Speaker 2: zero seven ten.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone show on woo.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Hey, let's stick some calls. Eight hundred three to two
- 15:29Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to
- 15:32Speaker 2: Mike in Brooklyn. Mike, how you doing.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Hey, good morning, Mark, Mark. I'm just calling.
- 15:37Speaker 6: I know on Tuesday truck President Trump spoke in Pennsylvania
- 15:40Speaker 6: about working on Nashville concil carry reciprocity. Do you think
- 15:44Speaker 6: we'll finally get some traction with it? Because I know he's.
- 15:46Speaker 2: Been What did you say I spoke about, Oh.
- 15:50Speaker 5: The National conceal Carry reciprocity.
- 15:52Speaker 2: The National concealed Carry reciprocity. You gotta be careful. People
- 15:58Speaker 2: are listening while they're driving in the car. We don't
- 16:00Speaker 2: want them to doze off if we if we say
- 16:03Speaker 2: we're going to be talking about the National carry conceal reciprocity.
- 16:08Speaker 2: People just go in the U. Do you have another subject.
- 16:13Speaker 5: Well, he's been mentioning it since his first term, and
- 16:15Speaker 5: you know, I've.
- 16:16Speaker 2: Been careful not to pay attention to the I'm going
- 16:18Speaker 2: to do that to some people do that all day today?
- 16:22Speaker 2: Is anybody what do you think about the national carry
- 16:24Speaker 2: conceal reciprocity. Does that have to do with guns?
- 16:29Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a big issue with that right now.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Translated into English for us, what does it mean? It
- 16:37Speaker 2: means a right to carry a.
- 16:38Speaker 6: Gun correct cross different state lines. If you okay, you
- 16:43Speaker 6: state that you're allowed to go to different Yeah.
- 16:45Speaker 2: People might not realize you get a gun permit. It's
- 16:46Speaker 2: not easy to do. But let's say somehow you got
- 16:48Speaker 2: a gun permit from New York. You can't go into
- 16:51Speaker 2: Connecticut with it. It's it's only valid in New York.
- 16:54Speaker 2: So it's a big problem for private eyes. You know
- 16:57Speaker 2: that they're chasing somebody or fall their tail. Somebody, a
- 17:00Speaker 2: private eye got his New York gun permit and he's
- 17:03Speaker 2: tailing somebody and they're going to Greenwich, Connecticut, which is
- 17:06Speaker 2: right over the state line. They have to stop. They
- 17:09Speaker 2: can't take their gun into Connecticut. It's a crime. There
- 17:12Speaker 2: is such a thing as a national permit, very hard
- 17:14Speaker 2: to get. So what's the President trying to do? Create
- 17:16Speaker 2: it so your permit will work in any state.
- 17:19Speaker 5: Yeah, he's trying to pass the built.
- 17:20Speaker 6: So let's say that your license in New York, you're
- 17:22Speaker 6: able to carry across New Jersey Connecticut. As long as
- 17:25Speaker 6: your license in one state, you're able to go to ANODA.
- 17:27Speaker 2: And do you carry a gun? Yes, yeah, I could
- 17:31Speaker 2: see why you needed. And so what do you do
- 17:34Speaker 2: with your gun if you have to go to Connecticut?
- 17:37Speaker 6: Well, I am licensed over there, but you know not
- 17:40Speaker 6: is licensed in multiple seats.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Yeah, no, it's not easy. All right, Well, thanks for
- 17:44Speaker 2: clearing it up for us. Take care. Let's go to
- 17:46Speaker 2: Mike and Florida. Mike, how you doing, Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 17:52Speaker 7: Two quick things. One I read that online that excuse me,
- 17:56Speaker 7: the estate of Leonard Cohen is objecting to them using
- 18:01Speaker 7: the song Hallelujah for these two hundred and fiftieth celebration.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Where are we getting where are we getting these subjects
- 18:09Speaker 2: in national cary, concealed reciprocity and the Estate of Leonard.
- 18:14Speaker 5: For those Well, yeah, there's there's another one.
- 18:17Speaker 2: For normal people. Leonard Cohen. He was some kind of
- 18:20Speaker 2: folks sing or something in the sixties. Fifties.
- 18:23Speaker 7: Yeah, relevant, fifty years ago, and they're worried about two
- 18:26Speaker 7: hundred and fifty million people hearing a song they haven't heard.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Okay, But Leonard Cohen was like a very obscure musical figure.
- 18:32Speaker 2: He was like a very fifteenth string Bob Dylan kind
- 18:35Speaker 2: of a guy, right, yes, So what kind.
- 18:38Speaker 7: Of have another question?
- 18:39Speaker 2: What kind of a state could this guy have had
- 18:41Speaker 2: a dollar fifties?
- 18:42Speaker 7: I can't imagine exactly. I can't imagine, although that song
- 18:46Speaker 7: Hallelujah is fairly you know, fairly popular in quotes, But yeah,
- 18:53Speaker 7: I knew that. I know that Sinatra like was pretty
- 18:57Speaker 7: fond of Dinah Shore. Did you know Dinah?
- 18:59Speaker 5: And what was she like?
- 19:01Speaker 7: Was she is cute and cuddly and person that she
- 19:04Speaker 7: seemed to be on the air.
- 19:05Speaker 2: Well, you got a thing for Diana Shore, isn't it.
- 19:08Speaker 7: I just well, you know, it's funny because when she
- 19:10Speaker 7: was younger, she wasn't quite as appealing as when she
- 19:13Speaker 7: sort of got a little bit older.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she was. I didn't know her that well,
- 19:16Speaker 2: but she used to come on my show all the time.
- 19:18Speaker 2: She was a big band singer, and then she became
- 19:21Speaker 2: she was a really fine singer. You go back to
- 19:23Speaker 2: the fifties, she made some phenomenal albums and she was
- 19:26Speaker 2: a really good singer. And then in the sixties popular
- 19:29Speaker 2: actually late fifties into the sixties, she did like the
- 19:32Speaker 2: number one variety show in television. She was a huge
- 19:35Speaker 2: star there. And then seventies and eighties she did that
- 19:39Speaker 2: daytime show with a lot of cooking and stuff. And
- 19:41Speaker 2: then she started dating Bert Reynolds, who was like the
- 19:44Speaker 2: hottest sex symbol in America, and here was this older woman.
- 19:49Speaker 2: It was a pretty good pible, yeah for Burt Reynolds,
- 19:52Speaker 2: and everybody liked her. I never heard a bad word
- 19:53Speaker 2: about her.
- 19:54Speaker 7: Very nice just seeing her as a singing partner.
- 19:57Speaker 2: I mean, I know she was a she was a very,
- 20:01Speaker 2: very very fine singer. You go back and listen to
- 20:03Speaker 2: go back and listen to her albums. There's one with
- 20:06Speaker 2: Nelson Riddle that's phenomenal. There's one with just a piano
- 20:10Speaker 2: I think it was Andre Previn, which is pretty amazing stuff.
- 20:13Speaker 2: She did some serious musical work. So and remember in
- 20:16Speaker 2: the fifties she was one of the two or three
- 20:19Speaker 2: biggest stars in television had a number one variety show.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Sinatra was a guest on it. She was on Sinatra's specials. Yeah,
- 20:26Speaker 2: they were very good friends.
- 20:28Speaker 7: What other female singers did Sinatra enjoy singing?
- 20:31Speaker 2: Was number one? Would number one was Ella Fitzgerald. His
- 20:36Speaker 2: idol was Billy Holiday, but she was kind of, you know,
- 20:40Speaker 2: out of the business, out of the game by the
- 20:41Speaker 2: time he came along, and Ella Fitzgerald would have been
- 20:45Speaker 2: number one. They always wanted to make an album together,
- 20:48Speaker 2: but the two record companies couldn't agree on everything. But yeah,
- 20:51Speaker 2: go on YouTube and watch the TV specials with Ella
- 20:53Speaker 2: and Frank Sinatra. Amazing stuff to check it out. All right,
- 20:57Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Let's go to Vincent Brooklyn, Vincent, what's
- 21:01Speaker 2: going on?
- 21:02Speaker 8: Good morning, Marca, Morning Marra. Yeah, Billy Holliday had that sound.
- 21:05Speaker 8: She had the heroin junkie sound. Mark I dig Donald
- 21:13Speaker 8: Trump was right for getting the big three oil companies
- 21:16Speaker 8: the executives at the White House and reading them the
- 21:19Speaker 8: Riot Act because me personally, I do think the gas
- 21:22Speaker 8: companies are now price grouch. Again. I say this because
- 21:26Speaker 8: yesterday I was at my car dealership to pick up
- 21:30Speaker 8: my car and there's a gas station on the corner.
- 21:33Speaker 8: Regular is as what you said, Regular was three dollars
- 21:37Speaker 8: and eighty cents a gallon and high test was four
- 21:42Speaker 8: dollars and sixty cents. The gas we're using now was
- 21:46Speaker 8: produced long before the war, and a rack this gas
- 21:51Speaker 8: prices should be coming down, definitely.
- 21:54Speaker 2: I remember a lot of that's not the oil come
- 21:56Speaker 2: A lot of that's the state, the city.
- 21:58Speaker 8: Okay, well done that. And actually the State of New
- 22:02Speaker 8: York has not raised the gas tax. It's still the
- 22:07Speaker 8: same as it was during the first Trump administration. Mark Mandami,
- 22:15Speaker 8: I hoped uh Rent Guideline Board gets sued because this
- 22:19Speaker 8: is gonna do this verdict of thev I'm not given
- 22:23Speaker 8: even the two year leases. A rent increase that's going
- 22:27Speaker 8: to cause a lot of landlords to abandon their properties
- 22:31Speaker 8: and to not make the necessary repairs. Mark, I get
- 22:34Speaker 8: offers for these large rents stabilized buildings every day. And
- 22:39Speaker 8: you know what I tell the broke is, why would
- 22:42Speaker 8: I want to be partners with the City of New
- 22:44Speaker 8: York on my business?
- 22:46Speaker 2: I understand it's a disaster.
- 22:48Speaker 8: It's a disaster.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Ben Vincent, great call, Thanks for calling. The rent board
- 22:54Speaker 2: was mom, Donnie stacked it with all his cronies that
- 22:57Speaker 2: passed this ridiculous rent freeze. And whenever these left wingers
- 23:01Speaker 2: do this stuff, it always ends up creating less housing. Hey,
- 23:04Speaker 2: we'll talk about that in the second and a whole
- 23:06Speaker 2: lot more with the Great Steve Forbes. We'll talk to
- 23:09Speaker 2: him next on seven to ten w.
- 23:11Speaker 9: The Mark Simone SHOWR.
- 23:16Speaker 2: Well, let's talk to the great Steve Forbes, chairman of
- 23:20Speaker 2: Forbes Media, author of some great books. You should get
- 23:23Speaker 2: his latest book, Inflation. He'll explain it. A lot of
- 23:26Speaker 2: stuff to but of course you should be reading Forbes
- 23:29Speaker 2: every day. Steve Forbes, how you doing.
- 23:33Speaker 10: Well?
- 23:34Speaker 4: I'm personally doing fine. I stayed up to watch a
- 23:38Speaker 4: certain soccer game last night. I'll just leave it at that,
- 23:42Speaker 4: and watched before that the Yankees lose to Boston. So
- 23:48Speaker 4: not a good way to begin Friday, but hopefully things
- 23:51Speaker 4: will get better. The Mets now are getting a new
- 23:54Speaker 4: manager after a miserable season, so things are astirring.
- 23:58Speaker 2: I know, but you had the Nicks. That's enough for
- 24:01Speaker 2: one year. What more could you ask for?
- 24:04Speaker 4: Well, the Knicks just you're what your appetite. They performed
- 24:07Speaker 4: the miracle of one of the great miracles in the
- 24:09Speaker 4: whole history of sports, and you figure, well, let's have
- 24:13Speaker 4: some more.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Well, that's the problem. We get greedy. That's that's the problem.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Hate, No, no, no, we get excited. If the Knicks
- 24:22Speaker 4: can do it, even the Mets might do it someday.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Well that's a good point. If the Knicks can do it,
- 24:27Speaker 2: anybody can do it. Hey, I'm looking at the price
- 24:29Speaker 2: of oil right now, sixty nine dollars a barrel. That's
- 24:31Speaker 2: pretty amazing, isn't it. That's that's almost back to pre war. Yeah.
- 24:37Speaker 4: I think the when when the war began in February,
- 24:41Speaker 4: you obviously had the huge spike, But what was interesting
- 24:45Speaker 4: was the futures markets going months out, six months, twelve
- 24:49Speaker 4: months out. He had oil back in the seventies. So
- 24:52Speaker 4: I think most people figured one way or the other. However,
- 24:56Speaker 4: this thing is resolved. When the markets reached some semblance
- 24:59Speaker 4: of normalcy. Prices were going to come down, and the
- 25:03Speaker 4: US has still doing all it can to ramp up production.
- 25:08Speaker 4: And I think what's happening in the Strait of Hormuz.
- 25:11Speaker 4: You're going to see in the next few years. It's
- 25:13Speaker 4: happening already the building of pipelines, So the dependence of
- 25:18Speaker 4: those countries on the Strait of Hermos is going to
- 25:21Speaker 4: decline dramatically. So the markets look to the future, and
- 25:25Speaker 4: so we're going to be able to worry about other
- 25:28Speaker 4: things than the price of gasoline.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Yeah, you were not a big fan of the you know,
- 25:33Speaker 2: going after Iran, but nobody's a big pin.
- 25:36Speaker 4: I thought, if you're going to go after it, you
- 25:38Speaker 4: do it, and not pause and cease fire and negotiating
- 25:41Speaker 4: all that kind of stuff. They're stringing us along. And
- 25:44Speaker 4: I've seen this movie before and we know what they've
- 25:48Speaker 4: been for forty seven years. So you either do it
- 25:51Speaker 4: or you don't. Yeah, I understand, of course you're right.
- 25:54Speaker 4: But if you could stay in this holding pattern through
- 25:56Speaker 4: the next few months, why not. Gives us a chance
- 25:59Speaker 4: to restock arm and pick more targets. It's not a
- 26:03Speaker 4: bad thing to get through the summer with this, is it. Well,
- 26:07Speaker 4: he'll find a way to get through it, the president.
- 26:10Speaker 4: But Iran now feels incredibly the world they live in
- 26:15Speaker 4: that they've won this war. Yeah, they took a huge
- 26:17Speaker 4: beating militarily. Our military performed superbly, as did the Israeli military,
- 26:23Speaker 4: but they're still standing that regime, and they figure that
- 26:26Speaker 4: they've won strategically, that they've established deep facto control over
- 26:31Speaker 4: the Strait and so we're gonna have trouble with them
- 26:34Speaker 4: down the road, and it's going to be an irritant
- 26:38Speaker 4: out there, a big bad one. And by the way,
- 26:41Speaker 4: to show the world that we're not taking a powder
- 26:44Speaker 4: on the world, I wish President Trump would's on his desk,
- 26:48Speaker 4: would approve the fourteen billion dollar arm sales to Taiwan,
- 26:52Speaker 4: which Congress approved last January, just to show the world
- 26:57Speaker 4: where where we're a player and we're not gonna let
- 26:59Speaker 4: the bad guys around.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a very good point. Hey, Mamdani and all
- 27:04Speaker 2: these are crazy young socialists, you know. Well, he just
- 27:07Speaker 2: stacked the rent board and now they passed this rent freeze.
- 27:10Speaker 2: And why don't they ever realize that, you know, the
- 27:13Speaker 2: smart educated young politicians, why don't they realize all this
- 27:17Speaker 2: stuff they're doing, they's been tried a billion times, always fails.
- 27:20Speaker 2: All this stuff they're doing for housing will create less housing.
- 27:24Speaker 2: Why don't they ever see that?
- 27:28Speaker 4: Well, part part of it is one they're dissatisfied, and
- 27:33Speaker 4: so they look for saviors of the wrong kind. But
- 27:38Speaker 4: also there's not been effective opposition, and I think the
- 27:43Speaker 4: people with resources in the city are realizing it's not
- 27:46Speaker 4: just enough to say, oh, well, back another candidate. You've
- 27:49Speaker 4: got to have people out there making the case, doing
- 27:52Speaker 4: what the left is done, organizing, go door to door.
- 27:56Speaker 4: I mean, you know, New York City, it's amazing Mondanis
- 27:59Speaker 4: wants to wreck a few private landlords left New York
- 28:03Speaker 4: as you known, You've made the point is the biggest
- 28:05Speaker 4: slum lord around. You don't want to be in a
- 28:08Speaker 4: city owned apartment. Try getting you know, with the rats
- 28:11Speaker 4: and everything else running around, not talking about the politician,
- 28:14Speaker 4: trying about the real rodents in those buildings, the lack
- 28:18Speaker 4: of maintenance, and so the socialism is not working even now,
- 28:23Speaker 4: and we've got to highlight that and this anti semitism
- 28:28Speaker 4: that goes unanswered. I mean that coffee shop, that guy
- 28:33Speaker 4: should be prosecuted. You know, if you're open, if you
- 28:36Speaker 4: have a facility for the public, you're supposed to serve
- 28:39Speaker 4: the public.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Period.
- 28:41Speaker 4: You don't want to serve the public shut down. But
- 28:44Speaker 4: he should be prosecuted for not serving. That congressman who
- 28:48Speaker 4: knows going to be looking for work. Sadly, and I
- 28:51Speaker 4: didn't like his politics, but he didn't like the reason
- 28:54Speaker 4: he lost.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Hey, you bring up a good point. Democrats in these
- 29:00Speaker 2: crazies that won in the primaries, incredible ground game. They
- 29:03Speaker 2: had amazing talent on the ground, knocking on doors, getting
- 29:07Speaker 2: voters to the pulse. The problem the Republican Party in
- 29:09Speaker 2: NEWUK is not big enough. They don't have those kind
- 29:11Speaker 2: of resources. And why is that? Is it because the
- 29:14Speaker 2: National RNC just doesn't do anything. They're not paying attention
- 29:17Speaker 2: to it.
- 29:17Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, part of it is it's sort of a
- 29:19Speaker 4: self defeating circle. You feel you've got other more promising
- 29:23Speaker 4: races around the country, So why poor resources in here?
- 29:28Speaker 4: But the Democrats too, there are still some sensible ones left.
- 29:32Speaker 4: Have got to get organized. You know, I'll be blunt
- 29:34Speaker 4: about it. What you see organized here with these socialists
- 29:38Speaker 4: we haven't seen on the far left since the communist
- 29:42Speaker 4: days of the forties, early fifties, late thirties, where they
- 29:45Speaker 4: were extremely well organized. You know, Ronald Reagan headed the
- 29:48Speaker 4: Actors Guild in Hollywood and one of his big task
- 29:52Speaker 4: was fighting the attempt to take over by the communists.
- 29:55Speaker 4: They're taking over in those days, the unions and other institutions,
- 29:59Speaker 4: we beat them by we're going to have to do
- 30:01Speaker 4: the same thing with this version today.
- 30:04Speaker 2: Wow. So the fact that they were so successful and
- 30:07Speaker 2: they got all these left wing socialist kooks in there
- 30:11Speaker 2: in short term game, But in the long term, isn't
- 30:14Speaker 2: that going to bring down the Democrats?
- 30:17Speaker 4: Yes, because the Democrats are going to be in a
- 30:20Speaker 4: tough position because even though most Democrats don't buy into
- 30:24Speaker 4: this lunacy we saw in the primary here in New York,
- 30:28Speaker 4: but the activists control the party. And so if you're
- 30:34Speaker 4: going to run in twenty twenty eight, are you going
- 30:36Speaker 4: to come out in favor of Israel other than a mumble,
- 30:41Speaker 4: maybe not even a mumble. Are you going to come
- 30:43Speaker 4: out against a national version of a national wealth tax?
- 30:47Speaker 4: You know, these extremists being well organized, knowing that they
- 30:52Speaker 4: can take a primary where no one votes, but the
- 30:54Speaker 4: activists they can take you down. So they're going to
- 30:57Speaker 4: be setting the tone of the party and that's not
- 30:59Speaker 4: going to be a winning issue for Republicans. Get their
- 31:03Speaker 4: act together, we should win in twenty twenty eight. And
- 31:07Speaker 4: you know, you see Newsom now squirming out in California
- 31:11Speaker 4: with this wealth tax on the ballot, which looks like
- 31:15Speaker 4: it might pass. He tried to find ways to try
- 31:17Speaker 4: to get it off the ballot by bribing the union thing,
- 31:20Speaker 4: I'll give you money if you take it off. So
- 31:24Speaker 4: this stuff doesn't This stuff is not going to go
- 31:27Speaker 4: well nationally, and the Republicans have to come up with
- 31:29Speaker 4: their own positive agenda, including health care, and we can
- 31:34Speaker 4: beat these guys in twenty twenty eight resoundingly.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Hey, Steve Forbes, we only go about thirty seconds left.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Kevin Walsh off to a good start at the FED.
- 31:42Speaker 4: The answer. The answer is yes. He's attacking this crazy
- 31:46Speaker 4: idea that prosperity caused inflation, and he's next going after
- 31:50Speaker 4: him by bringing an outside task forces, which is usually
- 31:54Speaker 4: a political punt. In this case, he's using outside people,
- 31:58Speaker 4: recognize experts. It's to bring about changes and attack the institution.
- 32:03Speaker 4: The institution you can't do it from within, but when
- 32:06Speaker 4: you have these outside task forces, they can't attack their credibility.
- 32:10Speaker 4: And so he's going to bring about positive changes. Finally
- 32:13Speaker 4: he knows how to do it, which is good well
- 32:16Speaker 4: seek for us.
- 32:17Speaker 2: And for the world. Steve Forbes brilliant as always. Everybody
- 32:20Speaker 2: should be reading the Forbes. Steve is the chairman of
- 32:22Speaker 2: Forbes Media. Forbes of course online you can read it
- 32:25Speaker 2: every day and get his book Inflation. You learn a
- 32:28Speaker 2: lot from that book. It's a great book. And Steve Forbes,
- 32:31Speaker 2: thanks for being with us.
- 32:33Speaker 4: Thank you, pleasure and go Yankees, go US soccer.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Thanks for being with us.
- 32:41Speaker 4: Take care and maybe even go Mets. It's a weekend coming,

- 34:09Speaker 2: Hey it's right, Hey, that's good news. Next week's the
- 34:12Speaker 2: fourth of July coming up a week from today will
- 34:15Speaker 2: be fourth of July weekend. So, as we reported earlier,
- 34:19Speaker 2: John Bolton has pled guilty. He's pleading guilty to stealing
- 34:24Speaker 2: classified documents and storing them. Now it looks like the
- 34:30Speaker 2: charge he's pleading guilty to carries a possible ten years
- 34:33Speaker 2: in prison. Federal prosecutors say they're asking five years in prison,
- 34:39Speaker 2: So it's possible he doesn't have to go to prison.
- 34:42Speaker 2: A judge could sentence him to house arrest, a judge
- 34:45Speaker 2: could just find him, a judge could send them to probations,
- 34:49Speaker 2: all kinds of things. But it does carry a ten
- 34:52Speaker 2: year sentence and they're going to ask for five, So
- 34:55Speaker 2: this could get interesting. It's possible you could see John
- 34:58Speaker 2: Bolton in now. If all this happens, it means you
- 35:04Speaker 2: should see Joe Biden. In prison. I don't think you will.
- 35:07Speaker 2: But Biden did exactly what Bolton did, in fact to
- 35:12Speaker 2: a far greater extent. Bolton was caught with hundreds and
- 35:16Speaker 2: hundreds of classified documents in his house. Now he was
- 35:20Speaker 2: not the President of the United States. Who is the
- 35:24Speaker 2: guy that actually classifies them and who has the power
- 35:26Speaker 2: to unclassify Bolton just simply you know, worked in the
- 35:29Speaker 2: State Department. You can look at the classified documents there
- 35:33Speaker 2: in what's called a skiff. What does skiff stand for
- 35:37Speaker 2: secure something information facility? Secret secure, I don't know. But
- 35:44Speaker 2: you're not allowed to take him out of the building.
- 35:46Speaker 2: You're not even allowed to take him out of the skiff.
- 35:48Speaker 2: So he had no authority at all to take these documents.
- 35:53Speaker 2: In fact, he took them home, put him on his
- 35:54Speaker 2: home computer. And it's a crime. He's guilty. Now that's
- 35:59Speaker 2: hundreds of documents. Biden was caught with about seven thousand
- 36:03Speaker 2: classified documents. This is not from when he was president.
- 36:07Speaker 2: This is from when he was vice president. This is
- 36:09Speaker 2: from when he was a senator. So it was totally
- 36:12Speaker 2: illegal for him to take those documents. They found them
- 36:15Speaker 2: in his garage, they found him in his office, they
- 36:17Speaker 2: found them in his den They found him in an
- 36:20Speaker 2: office he had at a university. So Biden totally guilty. Now,
- 36:25Speaker 2: there was a special prosecutor looked at Biden and said
- 36:28Speaker 2: his mental condition was so bad that there's no way
- 36:32Speaker 2: he could even testify that he was just a feeble
- 36:35Speaker 2: old man who'd lost his memory. So that got him
- 36:38Speaker 2: out of it. But this stuff that Bolton's going to
- 36:40Speaker 2: plead guilty to and possibly face prison over. We know
- 36:44Speaker 2: that Biden is absolutely guilty. He admitted to having thousands
- 36:47Speaker 2: of classified documents that he had no authority to take. So, hey,
- 36:53Speaker 2: there's a new book coming out that's got the it's
- 36:55Speaker 2: out already. The left wing is all excited about it.
- 36:58Speaker 2: The crazy fake news democrats. It's by those New York
- 37:02Speaker 2: Times idiots. It's to name Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan
- 37:07Speaker 2: and every day you put on CNN or MSNBC of
- 37:10Speaker 2: the New York Times, they're just exploding with an unbelievable,
- 37:14Speaker 2: shocking revelation. This is the latest one. Now, this is
- 37:19Speaker 2: media Heite, which is a left wing, kookie, left wing site,
- 37:23Speaker 2: and it says blockbuster from authors, this is what. Now
- 37:28Speaker 2: listen to what they revealed in the book. Apparently there
- 37:30Speaker 2: was a meeting between Jeff Bezos and Donald Trump. Actually
- 37:35Speaker 2: they got together for dinner, and these two found out
- 37:39Speaker 2: about the conversation. It turns out they were bad mouthing
- 37:44Speaker 2: the Washington Post. Trump was bad mouthing the Washington Post
- 37:48Speaker 2: and its reporters, and so was Bezos. Now bad mouthing
- 37:53Speaker 2: these reporters at the Washington Post. That's every president ever,
- 37:58Speaker 2: going back to Lyndon Johnson, every president, Democrat, Republican, always
- 38:03Speaker 2: bad mouthing the reporting from the Washington Post. Now, in
- 38:06Speaker 2: the case of Bezos, he's the owner. He bought the
- 38:09Speaker 2: Washington Post. But he wouldn't expect him to do that.
- 38:12Speaker 2: But he was agreeing with Trump. He said, they, oh, well,
- 38:14Speaker 2: a lot of these people are terrible, and they are terrible.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Trump the arrangement syndrome, fake news. He had to fire
- 38:21Speaker 2: a lot of them. So this is the shocking revelation.
- 38:24Speaker 2: A regime change. Regime change inside the Imperial presidency of
- 38:28Speaker 2: Donald Trump. The same book Dan Rather wrote when Nixon
- 38:32Speaker 2: was president. Rather called his book The Imperial Presidency. So
- 38:38Speaker 2: history repeats itself. Hey, speaking of Nixon, a big ceremony
- 38:42Speaker 2: at the Nixon Library, President the Vice President J. D.
- 38:45Speaker 2: Vance goes out there to speak at the ceremony and
- 38:48Speaker 2: he makes a speech, and there was something in there
- 38:51Speaker 2: that's got the fake news all up in arms. If
- 38:54Speaker 2: you're watching the NBC even the Today Show this morning,
- 38:57Speaker 2: it was like the headline story shocking that the Vice
- 39:01Speaker 2: President Vance said, if Watergate happened today, it'd be a
- 39:07Speaker 2: story for about eleven minutes. Well, they were stunned by this,
- 39:12Speaker 2: and he compared he had the nerve to compare Watergate
- 39:16Speaker 2: with Nixon to what's going on today, in that Watergate
- 39:20Speaker 2: was the swamp, the deep state really out to get
- 39:23Speaker 2: Nixon and do him in. Well, Vance is not the
- 39:27Speaker 2: only one. You know, a lot of our historians looking
- 39:29Speaker 2: back at Watergate now, I think it was a deep
- 39:32Speaker 2: state plot in that all those burglars that were working
- 39:35Speaker 2: for the re election campaign decided to break into the
- 39:41Speaker 2: opposition head of the DNC, Larry O'Brien. They were going
- 39:44Speaker 2: to break into his office and try to bug his phone.
- 39:48Speaker 2: But the break in was so bungled, and they did
- 39:52Speaker 2: it so badly they got caught by the security guard.
- 39:54Speaker 2: And then that's how you got Watergate. Well, a lot
- 39:56Speaker 2: of people historians even look back on this. I think
- 40:00Speaker 2: that might have been a deliberate set up of Nixon,
- 40:03Speaker 2: that these burglars might have deliberately got caught to make
- 40:07Speaker 2: Nixon and the re election campaign look bad. And it
- 40:09Speaker 2: turns out all the burglars were CIA operatives. That's a
- 40:13Speaker 2: hell of a coincidence. They were all deep state CIA officers,
- 40:19Speaker 2: and they bungled up the break in, got caught, and
- 40:22Speaker 2: then all hell broke loose for Nixon. Now you're saying, well,
- 40:25Speaker 2: I can't believe CIA people would try to bring down Well,
- 40:28Speaker 2: we just saw it recently. We saw the exact same thing,
- 40:31Speaker 2: Brennan Clapper. Remember the letter, the letter from the fifty
- 40:35Speaker 2: heads of the CIA and deep state people saying the
- 40:39Speaker 2: laptop was Russian disinformation. Well, the same thing. These guys
- 40:43Speaker 2: are real deep state and they will try to bring
- 40:45Speaker 2: down a president. So Vance will get attacked over that,
- 40:49Speaker 2: and they'll play the clip all day today and probably
- 40:51Speaker 2: on the Sunday shows. Hey, the war in Ukraine, which
- 40:56Speaker 2: you never hear about anymore. Remember that's all you heard about.
- 41:00Speaker 2: It was a number one issue for fake news Ukraine.
- 41:04Speaker 2: The War in Ukraine. You do not hear about it anymore.
- 41:07Speaker 2: It's in year forty seven or something. It's been going
- 41:09Speaker 2: on forever. How many years has been going on, I
- 41:14Speaker 2: don't know, six years, something like that. It's a long
- 41:17Speaker 2: long time. Ukraine is doing very well. I think if
- 41:21Speaker 2: you're Russia, if you're Putin, you got to start thinking
- 41:26Speaker 2: this is a stalemate. I'm never going to be able
- 41:28Speaker 2: to do anything there. I mean, it's time to think
- 41:30Speaker 2: about getting out. Putin has lost millions of soldiers there.
- 41:35Speaker 2: Ukraine used to depend on US for weapons, and that's
- 41:39Speaker 2: no longer the case. You got to give these Ukrainians
- 41:42Speaker 2: and Zelensky credit for brilliance. They needed drones. Most of
- 41:46Speaker 2: the war being fought with drones, and they're very expensive
- 41:50Speaker 2: and they're hard to make. But the Ukraine government figured
- 41:54Speaker 2: out how to make drones. They were buying them like crazy,
- 41:59Speaker 2: and then they figured out how you could make drones,
- 42:01Speaker 2: and then they built drone factories. They are now one
- 42:04Speaker 2: of the biggest drone producers in the world. They're producing
- 42:07Speaker 2: them like crazy in dozens and dozens of state of
- 42:11Speaker 2: the art factories they built right there in the Ukraine.
- 42:14Speaker 2: So they're using them. Just overwhelmed Russia. Yesterday, Ukraine bombarded
- 42:21Speaker 2: with Russia with six hundred and sixty drones at once
- 42:25Speaker 2: at once. Russia's claiming they intercepted them all, and maybe
- 42:29Speaker 2: they did, but that's still that's overwhelming. Six hundred and
- 42:33Speaker 2: sixty massive drones, fully armed, attacking you at once. They
- 42:40Speaker 2: were in a dozen regions, including Moscow, Crimean Peninsula, Black Sea,
- 42:46Speaker 2: Sea of azof Moscow said at least forty seven drones
- 42:51Speaker 2: were heading right at the Russian capitol. They claimed they
- 42:54Speaker 2: intercepted them all. But that's pretty impressive that the Ukraine
- 42:58Speaker 2: is not only caught up to Russia, but they're probably
- 43:01Speaker 2: out producing them now when it comes two weapons. Hey,
- 43:07Speaker 2: the Epstein stuff, the files have been released. You know,
- 43:10Speaker 2: the whole idea, get these files released. Once we get
- 43:13Speaker 2: these files, that's it for Trump. We'll see what he did.
- 43:17Speaker 2: It'll be the end of Trump. Well, the files were released,
- 43:19Speaker 2: about ten million pages. The only Trump stuff in there
- 43:23Speaker 2: is how much Epstein hated Trump. They had no relationship.
- 43:27Speaker 2: They knew each other briefly a million years ago, but
- 43:30Speaker 2: through all of this stuff for the Epstein years, not
- 43:33Speaker 2: only didn't he know Trump, he hated Trump. Trump hated him.
- 43:36Speaker 2: They were bitter enemies. All you see in the Epstein
- 43:39Speaker 2: files is millions of pages of Trump, of Epstein plotting
- 43:43Speaker 2: to bring down Trump. You see a lot of that
- 43:45Speaker 2: with the writer Michael Wolf, the New York Post guy
- 43:48Speaker 2: at the time. It's him and Epstein plotting what they
- 43:51Speaker 2: could do to ruin Trump. So there's nothing in there,
- 43:54Speaker 2: But now a couple of judges are ordering that they released.
- 43:58Speaker 2: There's still some stuff. It's been redacted. There's nothing about Trump,
- 44:01Speaker 2: but they're demanding it be released. They'll probably comply. They'll
- 44:06Speaker 2: probably just release it because there's nothing in there about Trump.
- 44:10Speaker 2: And it's just I don't know why they These people
- 44:13Speaker 2: just torture themselves every time they get stuff released. Not
- 44:16Speaker 2: only is there nothing there about Trump, but there's a
- 44:19Speaker 2: million democratic idols in there that get completely destroyed by
- 44:25Speaker 2: these files. Price of oil dropping even lower. It's about
- 44:29Speaker 2: to hit sixty eight dollars a gownon that's pre war levels.
- 44:32Speaker 2: That's pretty amazing. Hey, So yesterday we had a big
- 44:37Speaker 2: Police Athletic League luncheon. It's the finest children's charity in
- 44:41Speaker 2: New York, the Police Athletic League. They do great work
- 44:44Speaker 2: for so many kids and once a month. John Katzi
- 44:47Speaker 2: Meteiti's the chairman, and I involved, others involved. We do
- 44:51Speaker 2: these luncheons, we have a guest speaker, so yesterday's speaker.
- 44:54Speaker 2: It's usually senators, mayors, governors, all sorts of prominent famous
- 45:00Speaker 2: people speak, but yesterday was mayor Mom Donnie. Nobody knew
- 45:03Speaker 2: quite what to expect, and it was all The crowd
- 45:07Speaker 2: was all the top business people and CEOs of New York.
- 45:13Speaker 2: I gotta admit, I mean, he's very charming in person.
- 45:16Speaker 2: I mean he's you know, horrible as a mayor and
- 45:19Speaker 2: all the things he's doing. But this was not a
- 45:20Speaker 2: political event. This was strictly to help kids, and it
- 45:24Speaker 2: was strictly a charity event. But usually I opened a
- 45:29Speaker 2: program by making a few jokes and joking around. So
- 45:33Speaker 2: what do you do with the mayor, Mom Donnie. Well,
- 45:36Speaker 2: I made a lot of jokes about him. I made
- 45:38Speaker 2: jokes about him being a socialist, I made jokes about everything.
- 45:42Speaker 2: I got to admit, he was very gracious. He has
- 45:46Speaker 2: an excellent sense of humor. If you don't believe me,
- 45:50Speaker 2: go take a look at my Instagram. There's pictures of him.
- 45:54Speaker 2: The photographer caught him laughing in the audience, but watch
- 45:58Speaker 2: him laugh. It's like when I started making jokes about it.
- 46:01Speaker 2: You know, people a little shocked for a second, and
- 46:04Speaker 2: then he laughed louder and harder than Anybody's quite gracious,
- 46:08Speaker 2: quite nice about it, and very good with charities and
- 46:13Speaker 2: helping us out. But check out my instagram mark someone
- 46:17Speaker 2: NYC at Instagram. You'll see take a look again again.
- 46:22Speaker 2: We've still got to disagree with him on anything and everything.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Just horrible stuff. He's trying to do. This rent freeze.
- 46:30Speaker 2: He redid the rent guidelines board, you know, he put
- 46:33Speaker 2: all his own people in there, so they voted a
- 46:35Speaker 2: rent freeze on lots of apartments. Now, everything they're doing
- 46:40Speaker 2: has been tried before, and every time you do it,
- 46:43Speaker 2: it completely screws up housing. You get less, housing prices
- 46:47Speaker 2: go up despite the rent freeze, and everything that they're
- 46:51Speaker 2: doing has been done a million times fails. Every time.
- 46:54Speaker 2: It's always a total disaster. It's fascinating because you look
- 46:58Speaker 2: at a lot of these socialists, a lot of these
- 47:01Speaker 2: crazy left wing kook democrats, and you check their background.
- 47:05Speaker 2: They all went to Columbia, they studied history, and well,
- 47:08Speaker 2: if they studied all this stuff, why wouldn't they know it?
- 47:11Speaker 2: I mean, they're just crazy with this stuff. And it's
- 47:14Speaker 2: the problem with government. When they try to fix something,
- 47:17Speaker 2: they always make it worse. And when it comes to housing,
- 47:21Speaker 2: this is always the case. Well, all, maybe the government
- 47:23Speaker 2: should just take it over. Yeah, well we've seen that.
- 47:25Speaker 2: Look at Nischa and the other government housing projects. They're
- 47:29Speaker 2: the worst conditions you could ever live in. They're a disaster.
- 47:33Speaker 2: Same thing happened in healthcare, you know, Obamacare. We'll take
- 47:36Speaker 2: it over, we'll fix it. Well, by the time they
- 47:38Speaker 2: got done, it was much more expensive, and you lost
- 47:41Speaker 2: your doctor in the process, and you couldn't get as
- 47:44Speaker 2: much coverage as you had before. So you're going to
- 47:46Speaker 2: see the same thing happen with housing. I know it
- 47:50Speaker 2: keeps getting worse and worse with these crazy left wingers.
- 47:53Speaker 2: And when is this cycle going to turn around when
- 47:56Speaker 2: the publican a wise up and start voting them eventually,
- 48:00Speaker 2: I mean, but like some people said, it's gonna have
- 48:03Speaker 2: to get worse before it gets better. Hey, we'll take
- 48:06Speaker 2: some calls. Next eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 48:10Speaker 2: Ton is number eight hundred three two one zero seven
- 48:14Speaker 2: ten in Mark.
- 48:16Speaker 1: On demand by setting up presead for his podcast on
- 48:20Speaker 1: the iHeartRadio app. Now back to Mark Simone on wor.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three two one
- 48:30Speaker 2: zero seven ton is the number eight hundred three two
- 48:33Speaker 2: one zero seven. Ten. Let's go to Randall in Maryland. Randall,
- 48:38Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 48:40Speaker 11: Good, Mark?
- 48:41Speaker 5: Mark? Did you ever meet a man called Mars Levy?
- 48:46Speaker 2: Mars Levy? Yeah?
- 48:48Speaker 5: Who is Morrison Rulette Records?
- 48:50Speaker 2: Oh yeah, of course, Marris Levy was the the gangster
- 48:54Speaker 2: owner of Roulette Records, right. Yeah. In fact, if you
- 48:59Speaker 2: talk to those artists, Tommy James and the Shandell's and
- 49:02Speaker 2: they'll tell you horror stories about what happened to their
- 49:05Speaker 2: money with Morris Levy. Actually, I think Tommy James wrote
- 49:08Speaker 2: a book about it. Yeah, he remember The Sopranos there
- 49:11Speaker 2: was a character named Hesh.
- 49:15Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, but I don't know, but oh yeah.
- 49:17Speaker 2: On The Sopranos the character named Hesh who was in
- 49:20Speaker 2: the music business, who had a record company that was
- 49:22Speaker 2: actually based on Morris Levy. But what do you want
- 49:25Speaker 2: to say about it?
- 49:27Speaker 5: Well, I was fascinated by some of his name comes
- 49:30Speaker 5: up with. Like you said about all the money you
- 49:33Speaker 5: stole from with publishing rights, I'm fascinated about the publishing
- 49:37Speaker 5: rights and goose steals what who gets what?
- 49:40Speaker 2: That's interesting? You love stealing and you're fascinated by what
- 49:45Speaker 2: are you so fascinated? Well, that's stealing.
- 49:49Speaker 5: Well I read some of those books and his name
- 49:51Speaker 5: comes up, like with Tommy James, like you like you
- 49:54Speaker 5: said he was a gangster.
- 49:56Speaker 2: Yeah, well there was a lot of mob connection. But
- 49:58Speaker 2: you know, there were a lot of guys back then
- 50:00Speaker 2: because in the fifties, all these artists, you know, all
- 50:03Speaker 2: these groups that came along, they were not very educated.
- 50:06Speaker 2: They certainly knew nothing about the big business or finance,
- 50:09Speaker 2: and he would sign them to ridiculous contracts and they would,
- 50:12Speaker 2: you know, all the money would come in from the
- 50:15Speaker 2: record and a million dollars to come in. They give
- 50:17Speaker 2: the guy four thousand and keep the rest, and he
- 50:20Speaker 2: was thrilled with the four thousand. But you know, years
- 50:23Speaker 2: later I found out how much they lost. There was
- 50:26Speaker 2: this I don't know if I can mentioned names here.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Remember the singer George McCrae Rock Your Baby. It's in
- 50:34Speaker 2: Alan Grubman's book, so I guess I can say it.
- 50:37Speaker 2: But the groupment's in the head of the record company's
- 50:39Speaker 2: office and McCrae comes in with a gun, points it
- 50:42Speaker 2: right at him. He said, this record made millions. You
- 50:45Speaker 2: took all my money. I'd never got my money, and
- 50:47Speaker 2: he had the record company guy Reachin's pocket, took out keys.
- 50:51Speaker 2: He said, you see that Cadillac, that brand new Cadillac
- 50:53Speaker 2: up there here, it's yours. Take it. That made him
- 50:57Speaker 2: happy and he left and Alan Grubman said, wow, oh,
- 51:00Speaker 2: he goes that's a rental car. So, uh, that's how
- 51:05Speaker 2: bad those guys were. Let's go to Tony and White Plains. Tony,
- 51:07Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 51:09Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 51:09Speaker 1: Hi doing?
- 51:09Speaker 11: Mark?
- 51:10Speaker 5: Mark?
- 51:10Speaker 10: Mark?
- 51:11Speaker 9: I think with all these comedies getting elected, I think
- 51:13Speaker 9: is actually going to help us during the mid term elections.
- 51:17Speaker 9: And the other thing I have. I have a good
- 51:19Speaker 9: name for the Obama Museum. Yes, I think I think
- 51:22Speaker 9: it should be called the Flintstone Obama Museum.
- 51:26Speaker 2: All right, keep working on that. Keep working on it.
- 51:28Speaker 2: You need a lot of tweaking on that idea. Keep
- 51:30Speaker 2: working on that. Let's go to Joe and Elmwood Park. Joe,
- 51:33Speaker 2: how you doing, Good morning, Mark?
- 51:35Speaker 5: Uh.
- 51:35Speaker 12: Coming back to Nixon, Nixon told Donald Trump forty years
- 51:39Speaker 12: ago that the media was the enemy, and Rockefeller was
- 51:43Speaker 12: behind that because he wanted to be picked for VP.
- 51:46Speaker 12: When Uh, spirou Agnew retired.
- 51:49Speaker 2: Or yeah, well that's where the fake news really got going.
- 51:53Speaker 2: I mean it was always like that. It was always
- 51:55Speaker 2: a liberal slant, but it was under Nixon and especially
- 51:58Speaker 2: Dan ratherback then, who is the White House reporter. He
- 52:01Speaker 2: was the Jim Acosta of his time. That's what really
- 52:05Speaker 2: cranked up that fake news. They felt it was their
- 52:07Speaker 2: obligation to the country to bringing down Richard Nixon. But
- 52:11Speaker 2: there was always a big slant. You know, John F.
- 52:14Speaker 2: Kennedy is sneaking around cheating on his wife with Marilyn Monroe.
- 52:20Speaker 2: He's the most famous man in America. She's the biggest
- 52:22Speaker 2: movie star in America. They're having an affair, and apparently
- 52:26Speaker 2: all the press knew about it. They would see them
- 52:29Speaker 2: sneaking around. There was that famous party at the Arthur
- 52:32Speaker 2: Sletinger's house where like they were over in the corner cuddling.
- 52:35Speaker 2: I mean, it was pretty well known. And if he
- 52:37Speaker 2: asked those guys years later, the reporters, the media, why
- 52:41Speaker 2: did you keep it quiet? Well, you don't understand. It
- 52:44Speaker 2: was a different era back then. It was different back then.
- 52:49Speaker 2: I still think it's because Kennedy had a D after
- 52:51Speaker 2: his name. He was the Democrat. If it had been
- 52:53Speaker 2: Richard Nixon at the time, believe me, they would have exposed.
- 52:57Speaker 2: It would have been the front page the next day
- 52:58Speaker 2: if it was Richard Nixon. Let's go to Fran in Massapequa.
- 53:02Speaker 2: Fran How you doing?
- 53:04Speaker 11: How you doing?
- 53:05Speaker 5: Pole?
- 53:05Speaker 11: Always a pleasure, Thanks for being a peak and a truth.
- 53:08Speaker 11: The bottom line is this, with all of these communists
- 53:11Speaker 11: being voted in, this is the result of I'm just
- 53:15Speaker 11: gonna go to the last twenty six years of the
- 53:17Speaker 11: school children being indoctrinated. So in two thousand, when you
- 53:21Speaker 11: have that eighth grader in there, or that seventh grader
- 53:24Speaker 11: or that twelve year old, you gotta remember twenty years later,
- 53:27Speaker 11: these are the scumbags that are voting. These are the
- 53:29Speaker 11: people that are rioting because they've been told their whole
- 53:32Speaker 11: life that America is no good. White people are racist
- 53:35Speaker 11: and we stole the land. So if you're told that
- 53:38Speaker 11: every single day, this is the way you're gonna act,
- 53:41Speaker 11: we are in bad shape. That the Department of Education
- 53:44Speaker 11: is one of the biggest scams in the whole world.
- 53:46Speaker 2: Well, you look kind of useless, but the real problem
- 53:49Speaker 2: is you're right. The universities became indoctrination centers, and it
- 53:53Speaker 2: was a plot I at thirty forty year plot by
- 53:56Speaker 2: a lot of big money of people and by other countries.
- 54:00Speaker 2: He says, China and others pumped a ton of money
- 54:02Speaker 2: into this, and we're able to change many of our
- 54:06Speaker 2: top universities, especially the Ivy League. Once. First they infiltrated
- 54:09Speaker 2: the board of trustees, got a lot of people on
- 54:12Speaker 2: those boards. Then they changed the faculty of very left
- 54:15Speaker 2: wing Kook faculty. So a million years ago, when you
- 54:18Speaker 2: went to school, you know, you'd be taught about the
- 54:20Speaker 2: great America and history, and you'd be taught about all
- 54:25Speaker 2: the time socialism failed in communism feeling well, if you've
- 54:28Speaker 2: been going to school in the last thirty forty years,
- 54:30Speaker 2: you're being taught about how wonderful and better socialism is,
- 54:32Speaker 2: how evil America is. And that's the problem. You know
- 54:35Speaker 2: a lot of this protesting and the Antifa stuff being
- 54:38Speaker 2: funded out of China. You got this guy Neville Roy Sigman.
- 54:43Speaker 2: He's like the new Soros. He's funding this stuff like crazy.
- 54:45Speaker 2: He's operating with the Chinese government. He operates out of Shanghai,
- 54:50Speaker 2: protected by them, his money, and they just kept pouring money.
- 54:54Speaker 2: They decided to bring down America this way from the inside,
- 54:58Speaker 2: and it's been a long, multi dec decade plot and
- 55:02Speaker 2: it seems to be working. You could undo it. It's
- 55:05Speaker 2: gonna take a while. It's gonna take a lot of money.
- 55:07Speaker 2: That's tell you. The way they were able to take
- 55:09Speaker 2: over those boards of trustees in those universities. Somebody starts
- 55:14Speaker 2: making massive donations, next thing you know, they're on the board.
- 55:17Speaker 2: I mean, that's basically what it is. You're the biggest,
- 55:20Speaker 2: biggest donor, given a fortune, they'll put you on the
- 55:22Speaker 2: board of the charity, they'll put you on the board
- 55:25Speaker 2: of the university. And then slowly, enough of those people
- 55:28Speaker 2: on the board you can change the whole nature of it. Hey,
- 55:31Speaker 2: when we come back, we'll talk to the best polster
- 55:34Speaker 2: in America, John McLaughlin. He'll have a lot of intel
- 55:38Speaker 2: on the numbers where everybody stands candidates. We'll get to
- 55:42Speaker 2: all of that. It'll be fascinating. Coming up next on
- 55:45Speaker 2: seven to ten WR.
- 55:48Speaker 1: Walkim Live from the WR Life Back Studios.
- 55:55Speaker 2: Well, let's talk to the best polster in the world. Now, first,
- 55:59Speaker 2: you got these public polls, you know that you see
- 56:01Speaker 2: in the news, you see on TV, the media, polls,
- 56:03Speaker 2: the College falls, they're all just John with a couple
- 56:06Speaker 2: of hundred people, real, cheaply done. The dead serious polls
- 56:10Speaker 2: that the candidates use are very, very sophisticated, deadly accurate,
- 56:14Speaker 2: and the best to all of them is John McLaughlan.
- 56:17Speaker 2: You can check out his website. It's McLachlin online dot com.
- 56:21Speaker 2: But this is who real candidates use, president's prime ministers use.
- 56:26Speaker 2: And he's with us now, John McLaughlin, how you doing.
- 56:29Speaker 10: Are I'm doing well and I'm going well because as
- 56:34Speaker 10: long as Donald Trump's president, well, I'm always going to
- 56:37Speaker 10: be able to listen to you say those those poles
- 56:39Speaker 10: were deadly accurate, which they were.
- 56:42Speaker 2: Ye, Hey, just explain to us this past week you
- 56:45Speaker 2: had this Democratic primaries, the biggest nuts up kook left
- 56:49Speaker 2: wing social What is this trend and where will it end?
- 56:53Speaker 10: Well, it's it's within the Democrat Party. These big government
- 56:57Speaker 10: socialists are taking over and it's in reaction to the
- 57:01Speaker 10: success that that President Trump has had. We have, I mean,
- 57:06Speaker 10: the Republicans are mainstream. President Trump has transformed the Republican
- 57:11Speaker 10: Party into this party of working class homeowners, capitalists, people
- 57:16Speaker 10: who want to run some wall businesses and farmers, etc.
- 57:20Speaker 10: You've got this great Heartland coalition that he created back
- 57:24Speaker 10: in twenty sixteen for him to win the first time
- 57:27Speaker 10: and has expanded where we won the popular vote in
- 57:30Speaker 10: twenty twenty four and we swept the battle around states.
- 57:33Speaker 10: And in reaction to it, the Democrats have gone nuts.
- 57:36Speaker 10: They've ter ranged, and we just put out a poll
- 57:40Speaker 10: that the President retruthed that last night where his job
- 57:43Speaker 10: approvals kicked back up to fifty forty six percent disapproved.
- 57:46Speaker 10: It's a thousand likely voters who tend to vote this November.
- 57:50Speaker 10: And it's so he has some success because on Iran,
- 57:57Speaker 10: most Americans from what they see or read, they support
- 58:01Speaker 10: what he's doing with the ceasefire deal. And what's amazing
- 58:05Speaker 10: is you've got seventy six percent. There's a message gap,
- 58:08Speaker 10: because seventy six percent approved that everyone must never have
- 58:11Speaker 10: a nuclear weapon, and you've got another seventy five percent
- 58:14Speaker 10: say we've got to require a rand to stop funding
- 58:16Speaker 10: international terrorism against Israel and other nations. But if you
- 58:21Speaker 10: go to left wing cable channels, or you don't get
- 58:25Speaker 10: your information from any news source other than you know,
- 58:29Speaker 10: like if you don't hear from the writer's carted. People
- 58:32Speaker 10: like to listen to your show or a fair journalism
- 58:36Speaker 10: with his news Max or Fox News, et cetera. They're
- 58:39Speaker 10: not getting that information that this is what it's about.
- 58:41Speaker 10: And it's amazing, I mean, you know so. But the
- 58:44Speaker 10: President Trump, he's getting it out and he's getting his
- 58:47Speaker 10: supports starting to tick back up. The difference too, is
- 58:51Speaker 10: the Republicans for Congress. While President Trump's increasing his support,
- 58:56Speaker 10: Republicans are losing to the Democrats and the generic vote
- 58:59Speaker 10: for Congres forty six to forty three. So there's Trump
- 59:03Speaker 10: voters who are not voting for Republicans who may not
- 59:07Speaker 10: vote in November. They may not to show up, which
- 59:10Speaker 10: is a disaster for the midterms because you had one
- 59:12Speaker 10: hundred and fifty five million people come out and you know,
- 59:16Speaker 10: in twenty twenty four both for President Trump at seventy
- 59:19Speaker 10: seven million. But midterms you only get like in twenty
- 59:22Speaker 10: eighteen one hundred and eighteen million people or in twenty
- 59:24Speaker 10: twenty two you had one hundred and twelve million people.
- 59:27Speaker 10: So if the Trump voters Thei'll come out. These socialists
- 59:31Speaker 10: who have taken over literally a few thousand votes, I mean,
- 59:35Speaker 10: the Mondamine's candidate Chevity should be esperatte in the Bronx
- 59:40Speaker 10: and Harlem by a mere three thousand votes because you
- 59:43Speaker 10: only had about sixty thousand people voting in the or
- 59:47Speaker 10: I forget the total number, but it's about that. It's
- 59:50Speaker 10: a small number of people that turn out in primaries.
- 59:53Speaker 10: So the socialists, these big other the socialists understand that
- 59:56Speaker 10: that they can take over the Democrat party. There's the
- 59:59Speaker 10: Democratic already the establishment is so weak and that's how
- 1:00:03Speaker 10: mom Dami got elected. He got elected in the primary.
- 1:00:06Speaker 10: And they they're running these primaries, you know, and they're
- 1:00:11Speaker 10: you know, the Landers beat Goldman. I mean, it's amazing
- 1:00:15Speaker 10: when you think about it, and I mean in the
- 1:00:17Speaker 10: anti Semitism, the message of prohomous anti Semitism is unbelievable
- 1:00:22Speaker 10: that that you know, Landers himself, who happens to be doings,
- 1:00:27Speaker 10: beat dang Goldman because he was too pro Israel and
- 1:00:29Speaker 10: wasn't uh anti Israel enough. And then you get to,
- 1:00:33Speaker 10: you know, shot she won. Heard this, But they're they're
- 1:00:37Speaker 10: these socialists. Their agenda, the Democrats socialists. They they want
- 1:00:40Speaker 10: to legalize prostitution, they want to leave life which is
- 1:00:44Speaker 10: bad for you, and trafficking they want to legalize hard drugs.
- 1:00:47Speaker 10: They want to shut down jails. Chevy, I think that
- 1:00:49Speaker 10: if somebody commits murder, they shouldn't have to go to jail.
- 1:00:52Speaker 10: Because she wouldn't answer the question four times. They are
- 1:00:55Speaker 10: really radical, extreme Democrats, and it's not just happening and
- 1:00:59Speaker 10: the York. You know, you got l s a Ed
- 1:01:04Speaker 10: in Michigan, you got Tolerico in Texas, You've got Platner
- 1:01:08Speaker 10: and Maine, you've got really extreme Democrats winning primaries.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: Yeah, as you say, in the mid term type elections,
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: you got low turnout. And the problem is Democrats and
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: they're really good at turnout. They've got their best ground game.
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: Republicans don't have it in a lot of places, especially
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: in New York. How is that ever going to get fixed?
- 1:01:29Speaker 10: Well, well, well Trump fixed it because we you ended
- 1:01:34Speaker 10: up having to build a lot of organizations where you
- 1:01:36Speaker 10: had these nonprofits that are able to identify voters and
- 1:01:39Speaker 10: get them out. But Trump had aggress who's you know
- 1:01:42Speaker 10: group that came out from He had an agenda where
- 1:01:45Speaker 10: he wanted voter ID proof of citizenship before you vote.
- 1:01:48Speaker 10: You want to have his Trump tax cuts renewed, no
- 1:01:50Speaker 10: tax on tips, no tax on overtime, no tax tax
- 1:01:53Speaker 10: credits for senior citizens. He wanted to secure the border.
- 1:01:58Speaker 10: I mean, he hasn't make Americas growing our military, make
- 1:02:01Speaker 10: sure our reign doesn't get nuclear weapons.
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: He had an.
- 1:02:03Speaker 10: Agenda that people were passionate about to go out vote.
- 1:02:07Speaker 10: Plus you had Joe Biden and Kana Harris on the
- 1:02:09Speaker 10: other side. But you know, when you think about it,
- 1:02:13Speaker 10: like here in New York, the only way we're going
- 1:02:15Speaker 10: to stop the socialists is to elect Bruce Blakeman as governor.
- 1:02:19Speaker 10: And because the tailor is wagon, they're doing on local
- 1:02:22Speaker 10: because I mean Bruce is like he's cut taxes and
- 1:02:26Speaker 10: he got re elected in a Democrat county. Big he
- 1:02:28Speaker 10: cut taxes. He's got a tax cut playing for New York.
- 1:02:31Speaker 10: He's going to cut utility bills in half because there's
- 1:02:33Speaker 10: so much regulation and waste there. You know, he's going
- 1:02:37Speaker 10: to make our life more affordable. Plus he'll keep us
- 1:02:39Speaker 10: safe because like NASA Davis County in the country because
- 1:02:43Speaker 10: he hired hundreds of law enforcement officers.
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: Yea, we want Bruce Blakeman to win. But you're the
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: poster right now. Where does it stand? How does it look?
- 1:02:53Speaker 10: By the way, don't believe the fake polls like Siena Institute.
- 1:02:56Speaker 10: Let's get money because they do register votes. They only
- 1:02:59Speaker 10: had twenty two percent. Republicans were normally twenty five to
- 1:03:02Speaker 10: thirty percent, so there's any point skew there. They also
- 1:03:04Speaker 10: had forty percent for New York City. It was only
- 1:03:08Speaker 10: thirty two percent four years against Zelden from New York City,
- 1:03:12Speaker 10: so there's a sixteen point skew. But don't believe those
- 1:03:15Speaker 10: state poles. Blakeman's within within about eight nine points. That
- 1:03:19Speaker 10: was our last poll.
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: And Huckel.
- 1:03:22Speaker 10: The bottom line where we had in common with those
- 1:03:24Speaker 10: other poles is the Poters don't like Kathy Hockel. They
- 1:03:28Speaker 10: think she's too weak. They don't think she'll stand.
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: Up to man Donnie.
- 1:03:31Speaker 10: Her can't. She's supposedly she endorsed the establishment Democrats with
- 1:03:36Speaker 10: the King Jeffreys against man Donnie's Cannis. They got steamrolled.
- 1:03:39Speaker 10: Nobody came out for them. They don't like them. We
- 1:03:42Speaker 10: can't afford New York, New York's the jobs leaving, those
- 1:03:45Speaker 10: businesses leaving. I mean, it's like Manami's talking about it
- 1:03:49Speaker 10: can help her homes of property for people he wanted
- 1:03:52Speaker 10: into ten percent property taxi.
- 1:03:54Speaker 5: In New York City. I mean, you're going to have
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: a clear.
- 1:03:56Speaker 10: Contrast between the what Bruce Boudman wants to do to
- 1:04:01Speaker 10: keep New York affordable and safe versus Ulkalhem mandonide what
- 1:04:05Speaker 10: they're doing.
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: To the state.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: Yeah. Hey, John McLaughlin, the world's best poster. People must
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: ask you all the time, what's going to happen in
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: the midterms. Isn't it really too early to say?
- 1:04:16Speaker 10: No? Well, it is in some degree, it is. There
- 1:04:20Speaker 10: could be things that change, But right now it's a contest,
- 1:04:25Speaker 10: and you've got about forty districts where they're in play
- 1:04:30Speaker 10: for Congress to the House, and there's fourteen absolute toss ups,
- 1:04:33Speaker 10: and I could decide, so you know, a little like
- 1:04:37Speaker 10: I'm talking about the mood of the country is a
- 1:04:38Speaker 10: generic ballot. It's like, if it moves a couple of points,
- 1:04:43Speaker 10: it could represent dozens of congressional seats and maybe three
- 1:04:47Speaker 10: or four really contested Senate seats where you're looking at.
- 1:04:51Speaker 10: The Senate is also in play. And by the way,
- 1:04:54Speaker 10: Chuck Schumer in my national poland if you want to
- 1:04:57Speaker 10: find the results, it's at MacLaughlin online dot com. Yeah,
- 1:05:00Speaker 10: but the on our website. But Chuck Schumer is a
- 1:05:02Speaker 10: twenty nine favorable, like forty four on six unfavorable. He's
- 1:05:08Speaker 10: like he's the leader of the Democrats in the Senate.
- 1:05:12Speaker 10: So here he is twenty nine favorable, forty five unfavorable,
- 1:05:16Speaker 10: and he's really disliked. And that's President Trump's main opponent.
- 1:05:20Speaker 10: I mean, the guy who shuts down the government, the
- 1:05:23Speaker 10: guy who stoles all the legislation, the guy who any
- 1:05:27Speaker 10: you know voter id to make sure we have honest elections.
- 1:05:31Speaker 10: He's the guy who stopped on this. And he's from
- 1:05:33Speaker 10: New York. And by the way, if there was a
- 1:05:35Speaker 10: primary in New York, he'd lose by twenty points to Aos.
- 1:05:38Speaker 10: If if she decided to primary, he'd get trust so
- 1:05:42Speaker 10: he'd be he'd be the next one to get run
- 1:05:43Speaker 10: over by Mondonney. But but that's you know, but that's
- 1:05:50Speaker 10: is it too early now? It's it's I mean, there's
- 1:05:54Speaker 10: still a lot at stake in there. There's a contrast
- 1:05:56Speaker 10: election that has to be has to be defied where
- 1:06:00Speaker 10: this is what the Democrats stand for Tula, Rico and Texas.
- 1:06:04Speaker 10: You know, he doesn't think God's it's there's six genders
- 1:06:08Speaker 10: in God's nine binarian and you set this guy platinum
- 1:06:12Speaker 10: with the Nazi tattoo up and up in Maine and
- 1:06:14Speaker 10: you got you know, I mean, there's serious issues at play.
- 1:06:19Speaker 10: And the Democrats they don't want to just repeal the
- 1:06:21Speaker 10: tax cuts, they want the Trump taxes. They want to
- 1:06:24Speaker 10: raise taxes. So how should you win on an affordability
- 1:06:28Speaker 10: issue when you want to raise taxes about seventeen hundred
- 1:06:31Speaker 10: dollars the person on every American?
- 1:06:33Speaker 2: Yeah, well we'll see, but keep poland and everyone should
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: help Bruce Blakeman. We want to see him become governor.
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: And if you want a donator, Andy, go to Blakeman
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: for New York dot com and help him out.
- 1:06:47Speaker 5: Well.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: John McGlocklin, great stuff. Now your website has got a
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: lot of information on it and polling. McLachlan online dot com.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: McLachlan online dot com. John McLaughlin, thanks for being with us.
- 1:07:01Speaker 10: Mark, thank you, and keep up, keep up for great work.
- 1:07:04Speaker 10: And uh, you know, I really enjoyed the I really
- 1:07:07Speaker 10: enjoyed the praise about the past. Paul's game, right, Yeah,
- 1:07:10Speaker 10: we got to work on the next.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Set, all right, Okay, keep working, keep up the great work,
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: and we'll talk to you soon. Thanks for being with us.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: Thank you, sir. Take care. H Hey, don't forget coming
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: up at noon. Buck Sexton and Clay Travis. They got
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: a great show for you today. Then you got uh,
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: you know, the single most listened to radio show in
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: America is Sean Hannity every day three to six. You
- 1:07:31Speaker 2: got Jesse Kelly six o'clock and the very funny Jimmy
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: Fayla was what a wonderful show. If you haven't heard it,
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: start listening nine to midnight. And we got Curtis Sliwa
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: every morning. Curtis Sliwa, Larry Minty every morning six to ten.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Right here on seven ten wo R.
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: It's more and more mister New York on seven ten
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: w o R.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: Well, let's see the big news this morning. The Mets
- 1:07:59Speaker 2: fire their manager, say they got a big announcement coming up.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: We don't know what that means. John Bolton has pled guilty.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: He will plead guilty. Now what he's pleading guilty to
- 1:08:12Speaker 2: carries it possible ten years in prison. Federal prosecutor said
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: they will seek five years in prison for John Bolton.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: But it's pretty clear now this was not law fair.
- 1:08:23Speaker 2: This was not a revenge thing by President Trump. He
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: was absolutely guilty of the charges. That's why he's pleading guilty. Hey,
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: we're out of time. I'll be back Monday. Every weekday
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: ten to noon. I'll see you then seven to ten.
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: WR
