  [SPEAKER_00]: eight days away from the start of the NFL draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars currently don't have a pick until 56 overall.

  [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of folks would like to see the Jaguars take a defensive tackle early on, which they may very well do, but I think there are some legitimate candidates to be day three picks for the Jaguars that could come in and potentially make an impact for them on the defensive front.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Each one of these prospects are outside of the top 150 overall on the NFL draft consensus big board.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's kind of how we're defining a sleeper outside of the top 150.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Landon Robinson, out of Navy, Jordan Vandenberg, out of Georgia Tech, Renee Konga, out of Louisville, and Aaron Graves, out of Iowa, respectively, Tyler on Yettam, at 159 overall, Landon Robinson, at 183 overall, then you jump down to 249 overall, Jordan Vandenberg, 263 overall, Renee Konga,

  [SPEAKER_00]: According to the Consensus Bigboard, which of course is often not all that accurate, teams will have their own boards and they will oftentimes draft based off of their board, not the Consensus Bigboard, which is what I expect the Jaguars to be doing.

  [SPEAKER_00]: a Tyler on Yedem or Landon Robinson at 159-183 respectively, they could very well get drafted much higher than that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We'll start out with on Yedem because he's ranked just a little bit higher.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Something the Jag wars and the Rams, I went back and look at a lot of the Rams draft history.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's something the Jack Wars and the Rams have valued, obviously, James Gladstone, a lot of the Jack Wars staff comes from the Los Angeles Rams organization.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So Tyler, on yet, I'm transferred from Iowa State to Texas A&M in 2025.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Texas A&M is a step up in competition playing in the SEC West.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has a lot of experience in college dating back to 2021, but he's still

  [SPEAKER_00]: Not that'll, I mean, he's going to be 23 by the time his rookie year gets kicked off, but considering he's been in college since 2021, he could be a good bit older, but I don't think age is something at 23 years old the Jaguar is going to be super concerned with.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He had 17 pressures to Sachs last year, strong physical player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He came in,

  [SPEAKER_00]: And did a pretty good job overall when it comes to athletic testing at 6 3 and 292 with 34 inch arms and big 10 inch hands did 24 bench press reps.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Not bad number at 292 pounds with long arms, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Longer arms making more difficult to push up that Benchpress, push up that bar.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Vertical 32 inches, very good.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Broad jump 903, very good.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 40R dash was 507, which was solid, but the 10 split, even better.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 168 projected 10 split there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: the agility stuff, the short shuttle and the three cone, not as impressive, but you see an explosive athlete here and that shows up on tape.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he's somebody who can be a starter long-term on the interior of the D-line and a big question I have are the jackwars going to potentially add someone that maybe doesn't project as like this stone wall run defender?

  [SPEAKER_00]: which I think on yettum out of all the guys who are looking at might be the most consistent run defender at the next level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Are they going to be willing to add some past rush juice while potentially sacrificing the ability to hold up against double teams or hold the point consistently or somebody who and James Latson talked about this.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe right now they're not an elite run defender.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Could they be coached up to be more effective as they run to Fender?

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a good question, but I think Tyler on Yetham could easily be an early day three pick for the Jaguars with his skill set, and his athletic profile moving forward.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And the Jaguars, they pay attention less to the testing,

  [SPEAKER_00]: and more to the on-field tracking numbers, which you're getting more and more and more of that throughout the league.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I do think testing numbers can kind of help illustrate a little bit exactly what you're looking for from on field as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Tyler on yet, I'm definitely one to keep an eye on.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Landon Robinson, it's hard for me to really call him a sleeper because I've been talking about him for so long, he has burst onto the scene, there's some people like myself who have him in the top 100 in the draft, he really feels like a potential Jaguar at 23 years old, he tested incredibly well, but he's he's undersized and he's trained with Aaron Donald so you have that connection there, obviously a lot of people are going to point to that,

  [SPEAKER_00]: But 293 pounds did 30 binge press reps, 32 five-vert, broad of 90 to all the testing numbers are excellent.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 4, 4, 8, 3 cone of 7, 2, 8.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a really, really good athlete.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You see the flexibility, the bend, the quickness off the ball, just incredible athleticism in space, it is size.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that he actually has the ability to be a pretty good, you know, one gap run defender.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you're asking him to take on doubles.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you're asking him to do a lot of the different things in run defense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he can kick some butt, and he would be very exciting, but he does fall into the sleeper category because he is outside of that top 150, as I mentioned, I like Landon Robinson a lot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now Jordan Vandenberg, who again is down at where is he on the board.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 249, really interesting prospect.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You see it on tape, but you also see it with the testing.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's in a lead athlete.

  [SPEAKER_00]: At 6-foot 3 and 310 pounds, he did 35 bench press reps, and you do see his strength pop consistently on tape.

  [SPEAKER_00]: His vert of 36 inches out of this world, 9-11 broad, 40-yard dash of 494 short shuttle of 418.

  [SPEAKER_00]: from an RAS perspective, and he has almost his entire RAS chart filled out outside of the three cone.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is the second ranked defensive tackle all time from 1987 to 2026, since they've been tracking this stuff.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Only Jordan Davis had a more impressive combine from an RAS standpoint.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think Vandenberg was pro today, but still I mean, goodness gracious.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He transferred, started his career at Penn State and he's from Johannesburg, South Africa.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Wants to be a coach when he gets, you know, done with his playing career.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Three sacks was hitting the quarterback, hurrying the quarterback, cracking up stops.

  [SPEAKER_00]: at 3-10 to be that athletic, that's pretty crazy.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has 24 years old, a little bit older, but I think he's definitely somebody to keep an eye on for the Jaguars later in this draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: out of Louisville, transfer from Rutgers to Louisville, he is a very productive past rush or a very effective and efficient past rush or difficult to keep in front of you and another one that's just got some really crazy athletic testing.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's not as big as a Jordan Vandenberg, so his height is fine, but he's, you know, what?

  [SPEAKER_00]: weighed in at 298.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's a little bit smaller, but that's not prohibitively small at all.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like he's bigger than Landon Robinson.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's bigger than Caleb Proctor, some other guys like that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: These are all great numbers for Rene-Kanga and another one that you see it show up on tape consistently with them, just the ability to be disruptive and get in the backfield.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Played the run fairly well at Louisville too.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's definitely one that I think could be a target for the Jaguars, and he's all the way down at 263 on the Bigboard.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 65, 295 didn't test out of this world, but his production in the backfield, it's undeniable.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Over the last three seasons, he's racked up 17 total sacks a bunch of pressures.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is red hot motor, consistently finishing plays, consistently showing that effort throughout the whistle through the whistle.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And also has some quick wins, some power on tape.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So definitely at one that I think could be another target for the Jaguars later in the draft.
