- 0:01Speaker 1: Because fuck you, that's why, is a founding member of
- 0:04Speaker 1: the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:37Speaker 2: Hello, and welcome to bfytw for show number three eighteen.
- 0:43Speaker 2: How goes it? Ladies and gentlemen, I am giving you
- 0:46Speaker 2: the soft introduction because we have a very hard man
- 0:51Speaker 2: with us today, our very special guest, that Limey Prick,
- 0:56Speaker 2: the beautiful bald British bastard himself. It's Crunchy.
- 1:00Speaker 3: I've been I've been described as many many things. Hard
- 1:04Speaker 3: is not one of them.
- 1:05Speaker 1: I'm I think you meant difficult, not hard.
- 1:11Speaker 4: There is training, ingraining in the words the family. I'm
- 1:20Speaker 4: insistent upon myself.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I insist upon myself multiple times a day. Anyway,
- 1:30Speaker 2: We're just happy to have him. Oh that explains to
- 1:33Speaker 2: any classes now, right, Enough of the middle school humor.
- 1:45Speaker 4: Is not enough enough.
- 1:48Speaker 2: We're just so happy to have Crutchy here. I'm just
- 1:52Speaker 2: being a goofball now. I forgot how to run the show.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I'm just like itself.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Our friends.
- 2:02Speaker 4: He's back the Beardi fu is backing the window.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Yeah, so I gotta asked questions. Fuck me, all right,
- 2:11Speaker 2: I was a question or the band. It's a question
- 2:16Speaker 2: with It's funny. He's a gamer and a storyteller. Used
- 2:19Speaker 2: to be my youngest friend. Now he's just augy. Hi.
- 2:23Speaker 5: It's me, Yeah, it's me yah, it's me yay.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Yeah, so happy to be me.
- 2:31Speaker 5: It is rainy as ship out right now, so it's
- 2:33Speaker 5: really hard to stay in her gal.
- 2:35Speaker 1: We're very eoring it. I mean, it's an or kind
- 2:39Speaker 1: of day.
- 2:40Speaker 2: All right. I guess this is what we're going with
- 2:43Speaker 2: because I got if you could make you could remake
- 2:53Speaker 2: QUINNYE the Pooh, how would you do it any other way?
- 2:57Speaker 2: Except you can't use horror that's already been.
- 3:00Speaker 5: I mean, the tried and true is to turn anything
- 3:03Speaker 5: into puppets. It immediately ups the entertainment factor.
- 3:05Speaker 1: No matter what.
- 3:07Speaker 5: But like it needs to be more or less about
- 3:10Speaker 5: just like just random talking animals doing just random ship
- 3:15Speaker 5: around the forest, and more about like Robin's mental well being,
- 3:19Speaker 5: because clearly the hundred and acre would is just like
- 3:21Speaker 5: his visit to the psychiatrist and him working through some ship.
- 3:28Speaker 5: But it'd be even funnier if it was with puppets documentary.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I'm not a psycho guy who is a visually having
- 3:36Speaker 1: conversations with animals.
- 3:38Speaker 4: I'd be down.
- 3:39Speaker 2: I've watched the that's interesting her head sort of approach. Stevie. Yeah,
- 3:47Speaker 2: he's a veteran in the podcaster and he used to
- 3:49Speaker 2: be well he still is a veteran podcaster. You're still
- 3:52Speaker 2: doing this, Yeah, I'm still doing it. Fuck you, Stevie.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Your question is the same. If you could remake Winnie
- 4:03Speaker 2: the pooh uh some other way other than horror, how
- 4:06Speaker 2: would you do it?
- 4:07Speaker 1: Ocean's eleven style. I want a Winnie the Pool heist
- 4:11Speaker 1: movie when they go through like the whole thing, like
- 4:13Speaker 1: they got to get revenge for some reason. But it's
- 4:15Speaker 1: most like on your kind of like your what was
- 4:18Speaker 1: it Fringe the show you like leverage, leverage, collateral something.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I know. It's I couldn't remember ahead a word one
- 4:26Speaker 1: word that one. It's kind of like that where they
- 4:29Speaker 1: get like revenge back for some bad thing that happens,
- 4:32Speaker 1: but they go through the whole thing. You're like, well,
- 4:34Speaker 1: how do they do it? And that you know, they
- 4:36Speaker 1: do the whole breakdown and stuff, and at the end
- 4:37Speaker 1: of it, when you poo just gets the spot of
- 4:39Speaker 1: honey or something. I don't know, but something good, because
- 4:42Speaker 1: there's gotta be a moral at the end of it
- 4:43Speaker 1: and some good story because it's Winny of the poop
- 4:45Speaker 1: still but ocean's eleven Winnie the Pooh.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Okay, And finally our special guest, Crunchy, what's up, my
- 4:52Speaker 2: beautiful man?
- 4:53Speaker 3: Well, some gorgeous fuckers doesn't ever ready have a moral
- 4:57Speaker 3: at the end.
- 5:00Speaker 1: It is possible. Good for either allergs you to it
- 5:05Speaker 1: until a year old. Just a heads up for everybody,
- 5:08Speaker 1: batt Yeah, fair enough.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Enough about babies. Sorry, yes the British baby, Yeah, British baby.
- 5:20Speaker 2: How would I remake? We need to pick.
- 5:21Speaker 4: I've got two options for you. Either what the poo
- 5:25Speaker 4: as Kirby your enthusiasm, going through a midlife crisis and
- 5:31Speaker 4: just staring at the camera all the time, or two
- 5:36Speaker 4: words for you, breaking pooh. Yes, I am the one
- 5:44Speaker 4: who thinks that.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Yes, oh all.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Right, and I'm your host. Pants' is Aaron and I
- 5:56Speaker 2: did mine in the pre show. So if you're a Patreon,
- 6:01Speaker 2: if you're a Patriot, remember you'll be able to hear it.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I'm not telling you nor.
- 6:07Speaker 5: I already forgot it.
- 6:09Speaker 2: Too for that plugging. But yeah, Patrions, just five bucks
- 6:15Speaker 2: a month is not a lot, and it's a really
- 6:18Speaker 2: good vibe.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I might actually try to animate it okay and thirty
- 6:23Speaker 1: four years which we're gonna.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Play three very silly games, promises Yellow. We are going
- 6:29Speaker 2: to play the boys Stevie and Augie versus Crunchy on
- 6:33Speaker 2: his own because what I feel that the two of
- 6:36Speaker 2: them but being stoned together is roughly equal to one
- 6:40Speaker 2: other person.
- 6:41Speaker 4: Every time my mom tag team by these two fuckers.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Also, I thought crunch you would enjoy being tagged team
- 6:48Speaker 2: by these fuckers.
- 6:50Speaker 4: I mean, is it just your fantasy and me in
- 6:52Speaker 4: the middle of the wobbly hate between those two? It
- 6:56Speaker 4: just tell me now, because if it is, I'll take care.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I will just do it in person.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Harry just wants to be the camera man, that's all.
- 7:05Speaker 1: He's just happy to see.
- 7:10Speaker 4: If you do that, I'll get you in the real
- 7:11Speaker 4: chair and you're going to be Larry Flint.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Considering how cheap I am, I would be more like
- 7:22Speaker 2: Larry skin Flint.
- 7:25Speaker 3: So Skid's evolved anyway.
- 7:30Speaker 2: All right, let's get onto our first game. We're gonna
- 7:32Speaker 2: play like share block. I've got three news stories here.
- 7:35Speaker 2: All our players have to do is tell me which
- 7:37Speaker 2: one I would like, which one I would share in,
- 7:39Speaker 2: which one I would block On social media? There is
- 7:42Speaker 2: only one correct combination that must use all three. We're
- 7:46Speaker 2: gonna go over all three news stories first, and then
- 7:48Speaker 2: our teams are going to take turns choosing. So we
- 7:52Speaker 2: will start with story number one. Cocaine runoff is turning
- 7:56Speaker 2: salmon into speed freaks. So I'm not sure if Aggie
- 8:01Speaker 2: has already referenced this, but I seen your call hearing
- 8:04Speaker 2: some point about this story existing.
- 8:08Speaker 5: So in the first instance, I'm sure.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Scientists, heroin scientists hook salmon up with little cocaine feeds
- 8:16Speaker 2: what and then released them into a river, and the
- 8:21Speaker 2: fish hopped up on the cocaine, uh, swam much farther
- 8:27Speaker 2: up river than the sober ones, oh my god, beyond
- 8:31Speaker 2: their usual breeding grounds. And so it's just it shows
- 8:39Speaker 2: what I think we probably call could have guessed that
- 8:43Speaker 2: drugs will that end up in the environment can disrupt
- 8:46Speaker 2: animals natural behavior.
- 8:48Speaker 1: I mean, but they're giving them a direct line into
- 8:50Speaker 1: their body of the drugs, right.
- 8:53Speaker 2: I don't know exactly how they're doing it, But this
- 8:56Speaker 2: research was published in a journal called Current Biology, and
- 9:01Speaker 2: scientists have found that medical waste from amphetamines and cocaine
- 9:04Speaker 2: antipressants can build up in marine life such as fish
- 9:09Speaker 2: and shrimp, but they didn't know the effects that drugs
- 9:12Speaker 2: would have on the animals until now.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Right, My question is these people making these drugs, they're
- 9:18Speaker 1: wasting so much, you dumb funck. You're throwing money down
- 9:21Speaker 1: the toilet. Literally take your run off, hold that reuse it, man,
- 9:26Speaker 1: recycle that ship.
- 9:30Speaker 2: I think that's what they're pushing for. Yeah, they're addressing
- 9:32Speaker 2: the fact that waste management needs to be done better.
- 9:35Speaker 1: It would save everybody. You would save them money. It
- 9:37Speaker 1: would make them money. See more drugs for everybody, not
- 9:42Speaker 1: just the fishes.
- 9:44Speaker 6: What oht know, manugg any thoughts?
- 9:57Speaker 5: I mean, yeah, they're just doing it to test, to
- 10:02Speaker 5: literally show physically show what it.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Does to them.
- 10:06Speaker 5: But in a un supervised environment where this is happening,
- 10:12Speaker 5: this salmon is going upstream and getting eaten by bears,
- 10:16Speaker 5: and people are already freaking about about the idea of
- 10:19Speaker 5: a cocaine bear. Now imagine multiple of them after eating
- 10:23Speaker 5: several salmon that have cocaine in their system.
- 10:27Speaker 1: I didn't even think about the bears.
- 10:30Speaker 5: Yeah, and all the other things in that water too,
- 10:32Speaker 5: Because as soon as that ship leaks in back into
- 10:35Speaker 5: the water stream and goes back downstream. It's now affecting
- 10:38Speaker 5: everything in that stream as well, not just bears, but
- 10:42Speaker 5: everything that drinks from that stream, everything that lives in
- 10:44Speaker 5: that stream.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Right, So they're doing the right I mean, I don't
- 10:47Speaker 1: know about the right thing about testing it, but they're
- 10:48Speaker 1: doing the right thing.
- 10:49Speaker 5: Well, they needed proof first, proof that it is a problem,
- 10:52Speaker 5: and they've proven that it is a fucking problem. Now
- 10:55Speaker 5: they have to solve it.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Now they can try to regulate it.
- 10:57Speaker 5: They can't turn on go oh no, it doesn't sit
- 10:59Speaker 5: in the some of the salmon long enough for it
- 11:01Speaker 5: to matter.
- 11:02Speaker 1: But it does.
- 11:03Speaker 5: Whether it whether it can be transferred over to another
- 11:05Speaker 5: animal or not, doesn't matter because it's clearly disrupting the animal.
- 11:09Speaker 1: And question anyways, science, science, bitch.
- 11:18Speaker 5: Giving drugs to fucking animal.
- 11:21Speaker 4: So immediately three questions. Number One, you've got a drug
- 11:26Speaker 4: called speed, and yet they decide to use some cocaine.
- 11:28Speaker 3: What the fuck.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Right?
- 11:32Speaker 3: Number two? What they done with the pure cocaine?
- 11:34Speaker 4: Because certainly runoff is not where all the cocaine is
- 11:38Speaker 4: going to be, So I reckon the signed to using
- 11:40Speaker 4: it first, here's the reason why we've got this fucking
- 11:42Speaker 4: test going on. And three, how the hell has salmon
- 11:46Speaker 4: got a swimming crack pipes in the mouse.
- 11:49Speaker 1: I mean, that's true. It's hard to like those things
- 11:51Speaker 1: when you're in the water. They put them at a barrel.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Come up to the water just enough to.
- 12:03Speaker 4: The crackspoons.
- 12:07Speaker 2: All I know is I now have the idea for
- 12:10Speaker 2: a script for a sequel to Cocaine Bear. All right,
- 12:16Speaker 2: let's speed. Let's move on to story number two. Man
- 12:21Speaker 2: stole thirty four thousand dollars of Lego by replacing it
- 12:26Speaker 2: with pasta. Yeah. Yeah, So this guy in California goes
- 12:34Speaker 2: on a spree of thefts targeting toy stores.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Awesome, I mean not awesome, don't do that.
- 12:40Speaker 2: He was specifically after the Lego sets. He would buy them,
- 12:46Speaker 2: take them home, swap the box's contents with dry posta noodles,
- 12:52Speaker 2: and return them. The cashier would pick up the box
- 12:55Speaker 2: and rattle it, and it sounds just like a Lego
- 12:58Speaker 2: set when it's shaken. No, he'd get his money back,
- 13:02Speaker 2: and then he would sell the stolen Lego bricks for
- 13:05Speaker 2: profit online, I would assume.
- 13:08Speaker 5: So, I mean where else would you sell it?
- 13:10Speaker 1: I don't know, back of a Cadillac.
- 13:14Speaker 2: After doing this dozens of times, the stories and the
- 13:20Speaker 2: cops caught on uh, and he was arrested this month
- 13:24Speaker 2: after stealing nearly thirty five thousand dollars worth of lego.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Why so much fucking Italians?
- 13:34Speaker 1: Like, what's he gonna do? Try to like make the
- 13:36Speaker 1: tower not lean anymore?
- 13:38Speaker 2: I mean his last name is Augustine. He could be Italian,
- 13:42Speaker 2: I mean, or German, or a couple of thin or it.
- 13:47Speaker 4: Could be a human anything guarante.
- 13:52Speaker 1: That's just driving the price of Lego up more and
- 13:54Speaker 1: more needs.
- 13:56Speaker 3: To be driven up fucking more and more. Jesus, it
- 13:59Speaker 3: was a.
- 13:59Speaker 1: Felling fucking company, Like, go check yourself, your fucking pretentious assholes.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Well, he was arrested by the Irvine Police Department in California,
- 14:08Speaker 2: and they apparently found the whole thing hilarious because their
- 14:11Speaker 2: statement is littered with pasta puns. They weren't impressed with
- 14:16Speaker 2: this motors separandi either. They called it a positively terrible plan.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Ha I thought it worked, so it's not.
- 14:24Speaker 2: Uh. He's suspected of carrying out at least seventy thefts.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Seventy yeah wow.
- 14:32Speaker 5: Say they're making fun of him because they caught him,
- 14:33Speaker 5: But if he only committed sixty nine and stop and
- 14:36Speaker 5: stop to you it been fine, yeah.
- 14:38Speaker 1: But a legend, especially to stop at sixty ninety. Dumb fuck?
- 14:41Speaker 1: Why'd you go above that? You fucked up? That was
- 14:43Speaker 1: on you. You know what. He deserves to fucking go
- 14:46Speaker 1: to prison, not a fine, fucking prison, just on principle,
- 14:50Speaker 1: just that greedy bastard. I got nothing else on her end,
- 14:56Speaker 1: lego or expensive. That's all I know. And it's his fault.
- 14:59Speaker 4: Well he gets how he going to be.
- 15:05Speaker 2: All right. Our third and final story is that most
- 15:09Speaker 2: rare of creatures. It's a follow up to a story
- 15:12Speaker 2: we've already done. What Yeah, we do that story. We
- 15:16Speaker 2: don't do it very often. It's funny enough that I
- 15:19Speaker 2: felt like it was worth bringing it up. California man
- 15:22Speaker 2: sentenced for bear suit insurance fraud. That's right. Approximately two
- 15:28Speaker 2: years ago we covered a story where three upper class
- 15:32Speaker 2: gentlemen were caught breaking into their own cars in a
- 15:36Speaker 2: bear suit and destroying their car and then trying to
- 15:41Speaker 2: get the insurance money for it.
- 15:46Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 15:47Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, it looked about as believable as that.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Honestly, I don't know it was so big.
- 15:54Speaker 2: If it walks like a bear, talks like a bear,
- 15:56Speaker 2: and Rex cars like a bear isn't a bear? Turns
- 15:59Speaker 2: out now, No, the the insurance, the the video footage
- 16:05Speaker 2: is absolutely hilarious because there is literally no way you
- 16:08Speaker 2: could think this was an actual bear.
- 16:10Speaker 1: No, God, no, this is the humans.
- 16:13Speaker 2: No, they're They're very clearly human in a bear suit.
- 16:16Speaker 2: It's so incredibly obvious. The suit's not even that good,
- 16:23Speaker 2: like the bears like maw and face doesn't even really
- 16:27Speaker 2: look like a bear.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Hired Etsy fucking cosplayers what they should have done, and
- 16:31Speaker 1: it would have been believable. They do better jobs and
- 16:34Speaker 1: fucking like you know, fall On Production Company.
- 16:37Speaker 5: It was more believable of that dude fucking a bear
- 16:40Speaker 5: and super Troopers.
- 16:45Speaker 4: It makes it sounds like the Pooh.
- 16:47Speaker 5: It really was bad, guys. I remember it now and
- 16:50Speaker 5: it's like I don't even they were.
- 16:53Speaker 1: No no, oh no, Crutchy, I got a new idea
- 16:56Speaker 1: for my answer now from the beginning of the show,
- 16:59Speaker 1: I want to check. Uh, yeah, I got nothing other
- 17:05Speaker 1: than what the fuck.
- 17:07Speaker 5: It's like somebody saw a bear costume for Halloween and goes, oh,
- 17:09Speaker 5: that's what a bear really looks like.
- 17:12Speaker 2: It's a fun story. On a single night, the bear
- 17:15Speaker 2: shredded the interior of a twenty ten Rolls Royce Ghost,
- 17:19Speaker 2: a Rolls Royce twenty fifteen Mercedes G sixty three AMG,
- 17:24Speaker 2: and a twenty twenty two Mercedes E three.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Well, you know what, Fuck all those rich fucks. They
- 17:30Speaker 1: should all have all their cars seize this evidence in
- 17:33Speaker 1: this crime. Fuck them. I'd be less Please doesn't it
- 17:38Speaker 1: start a five hundred thousand like minimum possible?
- 17:41Speaker 4: I would be less embarrassed getting caught dogging than actually
- 17:45Speaker 4: getting caught doing short in the bass.
- 17:48Speaker 1: That what I'm saying, man, Like, have some fucking respect
- 17:51Speaker 1: for yourself.
- 17:52Speaker 2: And they, the three of them put in insurance claims
- 17:55Speaker 2: for one hundred and forty one thousand.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Dollars exactly each, yeah, and not each.
- 18:02Speaker 2: It was. It was put together, okay, but the insurance
- 18:07Speaker 2: companies paid out, but they didn't feel right about it,
- 18:09Speaker 2: so they launched an investigation.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Rightfully, like one time, okay, whatever it's possible. Three No, you.
- 18:20Speaker 4: Know what happened. You know what happened. Someone saw this claim,
- 18:24Speaker 4: was not paying attention, just let it through. And then
- 18:26Speaker 4: the supervised was like, are you fucking kidding me? Did
- 18:30Speaker 4: you just do bear fucking cluid?
- 18:34Speaker 2: What you doing?
- 18:35Speaker 5: We're gonna get this fucking I know it might be
- 18:37Speaker 5: a repeated joke, but only you can prevent insurance from it.
- 18:47Speaker 2: And this is just the icing on the cake. They
- 18:56Speaker 2: after checking the video and having an actual biologist them up,
- 19:00Speaker 2: who immediately pronounced the thing to be bogus. He's like,
- 19:03Speaker 2: it was clearly a human in a bear suit. Uh.
- 19:06Speaker 2: They executed a search warrant for the four suspects homes
- 19:09Speaker 2: and they found a meticulously crafted bear suit.
- 19:14Speaker 3: It kind of that fucking meticulous if you can tell
- 19:16Speaker 3: it was a fucking human.
- 19:18Speaker 5: I want to know who they hired the biologist they
- 19:21Speaker 5: hired that. They were like, he's an official biologist with
- 19:24Speaker 5: what credentials?
- 19:25Speaker 2: I mean, the fur looks okay, but the head just
- 19:30Speaker 2: looks wrong. And the claws aren't really claws. They're like
- 19:35Speaker 2: hand knives, sort of.
- 19:37Speaker 5: Like Freddy Kruger knives.
- 19:39Speaker 2: I can show you guys the picture.
- 19:41Speaker 1: Oh wow, yeah, Oh they're raking.
- 19:44Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so that's the Yeah, I can't really show.
- 19:49Speaker 1: In that movie.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Yeah, the biologist was Stevie Wonder. He could still tell
- 19:56Speaker 3: it from.
- 19:58Speaker 1: The only person get Away with the teacher's aid in
- 20:02Speaker 1: the high school. Yeah, that's the one that's not a
- 20:05Speaker 1: bit just hired some to hire some random fucking c
- 20:08Speaker 1: student college student.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Ray Charles saw that coming from a fucking mile off.
- 20:16Speaker 2: All right, So those are three news stories, Crunchy. Since
- 20:20Speaker 2: you're a special guest, you'll get to pick first which
- 20:24Speaker 2: one of these did I like? Which one did I share?
- 20:25Speaker 2: And which one did I block? We have story number one,
- 20:28Speaker 2: cocaine run off turning salmon into speed freaks, Story two,
- 20:32Speaker 2: a man's still thirty four thousand dollars of lego by
- 20:34Speaker 2: replacing him with pasta, And story three the California men
- 20:38Speaker 2: who committed bear suit insurance fraud have been sentenced.
- 20:43Speaker 4: I think, if I can read your mind a little bit,
- 20:46Speaker 4: I think you're probably going to block the cocaine turning
- 20:50Speaker 4: salmon into speed frees because whilst a funny story that
- 20:54Speaker 4: makes it, it's still animal tests and I think you're
- 20:56Speaker 4: a little bit more of an animal lover than the
- 20:58Speaker 4: care than that, So think you'll probably blocked that one.
- 21:02Speaker 3: I think you'll probably now this is.
- 21:05Speaker 4: Where we're going to go one or the other, because
- 21:07Speaker 4: this this is the toss up, because both are funny enough.
- 21:11Speaker 3: I think.
- 21:13Speaker 4: You'd probably like the lego just for the fact that
- 21:19Speaker 4: it's whilst it is a shitty thing to do, it's
- 21:22Speaker 4: still a little bit ingenious, the fact that got away
- 21:25Speaker 4: with it sixty nine times. And then just because the
- 21:28Speaker 4: fact that you are happy to wallow in the shaden
- 21:32Speaker 4: freud of the rich, that the California Men sentence would
- 21:35Speaker 4: be the one you'd be sharing.
- 21:37Speaker 2: Okay, well, Stevian argue, you guys can keep one of
- 21:42Speaker 2: his and swap the other two, or you can go
- 21:44Speaker 2: entirely your own way.
- 21:48Speaker 1: Yeah this episode argue. So what I did is I
- 21:54Speaker 1: thought block the cocaine and one as well. But at
- 21:57Speaker 1: the same time, I was like, well, this is a
- 21:58Speaker 1: good thing because now they're going to regular like the
- 22:00Speaker 1: fish issue the fish you if you will. And then
- 22:04Speaker 1: I was gonna go and share the lego thing and like.
- 22:07Speaker 4: The bear suit. But what what are your thoughts?
- 22:09Speaker 5: So my idea was that he was gonna like the
- 22:12Speaker 5: salmon cocaine thing, because yeah, it is kind of bringing
- 22:16Speaker 5: a problem to the forefront situation. Not like it was
- 22:19Speaker 5: a deliberate act, but it was for scientific purpose, not
- 22:22Speaker 5: because someone was being.
- 22:23Speaker 1: In It's okay, because it's for science.
- 22:26Speaker 2: I guess.
- 22:29Speaker 5: I was gonna say he's gonna block the Lego pasta
- 22:31Speaker 5: thing because well, maybe he's a mega Blocks.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Fan, all fair to use.
- 22:38Speaker 5: And maybe doesn't care about corporations like Lego already make
- 22:41Speaker 5: millions of dollars off of children on a daily basis. Anyways, Also,
- 22:47Speaker 5: it's kind of interesting to hear about like a Lego
- 22:50Speaker 5: black market out there that sells specific pieces, Like that's crazy.
- 22:54Speaker 4: That would be a block market, all right, I like you.
- 23:00Speaker 5: And then finally share, uh the insurance fraud bear just
- 23:05Speaker 5: because it is probably the worst h offshoot of Super
- 23:10Speaker 5: Troopers ever of that scene with the bear getting.
- 23:15Speaker 1: So you're thinking, like share, yeah, all right, winning these
- 23:19Speaker 1: games lately, so I'm gonna go with all on this.
- 23:21Speaker 1: We're gonna go like block share Okay.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Well, as it turns out doesn't matter, Crunch, you already
- 23:26Speaker 2: had it exactly right, nice for exactly for exactly the
- 23:32Speaker 2: reasons he said. Number one is funny, but it's still
- 23:36Speaker 2: animal testing at the end of the day, and it
- 23:37Speaker 2: doesn't feel right. Number two is funny, but number three
- 23:43Speaker 2: is funnier just virtue of the fact that rich people
- 23:46Speaker 2: are trying to get richer by doing shitty things.
- 23:49Speaker 1: Is that what looks like, I mean I saw it
- 23:53Speaker 1: in the movie Ones.
- 23:55Speaker 4: I saw they need to get some more fairy conventions.
- 24:00Speaker 1: Yeah, go to the real ones, guys learn.
- 24:03Speaker 2: So Crunchy wins our first game, he gets one episode point.
- 24:06Speaker 2: He is ahead of the boys as we go into
- 24:09Speaker 2: our first break. But when we come back, we're going
- 24:11Speaker 2: to play game two, which is worth two points, and
- 24:13Speaker 2: we're going to do that right after this fount mail
- 24:25Speaker 2: bag mail bag getting him lit us. Hey, it's time
- 24:34Speaker 2: for the mail bag with special guest Crunchy now hanging
- 24:39Speaker 2: out with us as we go over our mail. So
- 24:42Speaker 2: what do we get?
- 24:43Speaker 1: We got a few things. First thing, we got another
- 24:46Speaker 1: thing from good Pods and it's a new category. We
- 24:48Speaker 1: hit number one in.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Oh my god, we're taking over that whole site.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Apparently I haven't really been looking at it in a while,
- 24:54Speaker 1: and I apologize for no updates, but we just hit
- 24:57Speaker 1: number one in the top one hundred indie leisure monthly
- 24:59Speaker 1: each other. Now we're a leisure to not just get
- 25:03Speaker 1: we're leisureisurely. We had multiple chills shows in a row games,
- 25:12Speaker 1: so I believe we jumped categories at too many.
- 25:17Speaker 5: Yeah, we jumped category half man.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Sorry, it's like just getting every category possible even if
- 25:26Speaker 2: you're not like category, you know.
- 25:27Speaker 1: Exactly exactly fill them out, all right. Our next thing
- 25:32Speaker 1: we got is a couple of comments from our last
- 25:34Speaker 1: episode or Women No. Two episodes ago. Sorry, I can't
- 25:37Speaker 1: do Math show three sixteen Stevie three sixteen. Who wants
- 25:44Speaker 1: to take this one?
- 25:45Speaker 2: I'll go. The gate Leapers said, I don't think we've
- 25:48Speaker 2: played the standard by t W games. It's always been
- 25:50Speaker 2: special episodes. And you know what, I think that's true.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Even when we did do like just kind of a
- 25:55Speaker 2: regular episode, it was it was more in the vein
- 25:58Speaker 2: of a gate Leaper show. So we did the gate
- 26:01Speaker 2: Leapers Show on our show to them.
- 26:04Speaker 1: So we never let them play our games.
- 26:06Speaker 2: We literally never let them play our games. They also said,
- 26:12Speaker 2: I don't know that we'll make it out to the
- 26:14Speaker 2: East Coast this year, but we're planning on it for
- 26:16Speaker 2: twenty twenty seven, and we could always do a live
- 26:18Speaker 2: stream crossover show swap this fall or winter though three
- 26:22Speaker 2: hours of live stream where it's ninety minutes of each show.
- 26:27Speaker 2: I think that's a great idea.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Yes, I think now they're just forcing the issue playing
- 26:33Speaker 3: your games rather than their.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Come play our games well, we'll play our games, but
- 26:39Speaker 2: then we play there as it would be a back and.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Forth be kind of fun. I'd be down for that.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Man a live stream. I'm assuming it's for a.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Chariteak we could I suppose called.
- 26:51Speaker 1: The gate Leapers our Pockets Charity.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Our pockets empty? Yes? Still please?
- 27:03Speaker 1: What Hell's yes? I'm down for an East Coast twenty
- 27:06Speaker 1: twenty seven. This year is hard. This year is so difficult.
- 27:08Speaker 1: That's very so Yeah, we'll do twenty twenty seven East
- 27:10Speaker 1: Coast meet up for sure. And then yes, yes, yes, yes,
- 27:13Speaker 1: cross over and finally ah. Our last comment comes from
- 27:18Speaker 1: Bill m. As soon as Aaron s the Comfort Show,
- 27:23Speaker 1: I said future rama to myself, I was like, yes, see,
- 27:27Speaker 1: everybody understands.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Do you have Do you have like a comfort TV
- 27:33Speaker 2: show that you turn to and things are bad and
- 27:35Speaker 2: you need just to be comforted?
- 27:40Speaker 7: Horn hup, I know, very comforting. No, you no longest
- 27:49Speaker 7: say maybe just watch a bit of resting the schep
- 27:52Speaker 7: myself off. I have a lot of family guy in the.
- 27:54Speaker 4: Backgrounds, good nothing, nothing that I really would absolutely say
- 27:59Speaker 4: like I just need this to switch off. It'd probably
- 28:02Speaker 4: be just a little bit of YouTube watching, condiculous or
- 28:05Speaker 4: something like that.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Yeah, it's whatever.
- 28:07Speaker 5: It really is convenient at the time.
- 28:09Speaker 4: It's completely the opposite from the good lady who puts
- 28:12Speaker 4: on YouTube and watches like police cameras and crime documentaries
- 28:17Speaker 4: and like all the worst like dark web shit. It's like,
- 28:22Speaker 4: I love you, but I can't watch.
- 28:25Speaker 2: I love you. This is of comfort for me, So
- 28:29Speaker 2: I'm gonna go. Yeah, yes, fair enough, that everything.
- 28:34Speaker 1: I believe. That's most of the mail bag. But we've
- 28:37Speaker 1: got a couple of shout outs I got to give
- 28:39Speaker 1: out real quick. Okay, So we at BFY t W
- 28:42Speaker 1: would like that you give a huge shout out and
- 28:44Speaker 1: much love to Peace, Love and Bud in Lockport, New York,
- 28:47Speaker 1: not only for always like supporting us in the show
- 28:50Speaker 1: and the stupid stuff we do, uh, but also because
- 28:53Speaker 1: of last week we won a wonderful raffle there during
- 28:57Speaker 1: their four to twenty celebration, and we got ourselves as
- 29:00Speaker 1: zenko Uno, which is a concentrate vaporizer. So pretty much
- 29:05Speaker 1: like you know, Jesus, you normally get regular flower, you vaporize,
- 29:09Speaker 1: you get a little high. This takes what is normally
- 29:13Speaker 1: a fourteen to fifteen to twenty percent THFC to it,
- 29:15Speaker 1: like a ninety something percent THAC turns into complete vapor
- 29:20Speaker 1: and uh yeah, so.
- 29:22Speaker 4: It's like the five hour energy of THHC.
- 29:24Speaker 1: Yes, it's insane, so put you out. I want to
- 29:27Speaker 1: say thank you guys, very very much. It's been used
- 29:30Speaker 1: a couple of times and it's knocking me on my
- 29:32Speaker 1: ass each time, So thank you.
- 29:35Speaker 4: Here's more thankful Russ Faery because the fuck up.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Uh. Secondly, I also want to give a huge shout
- 29:42Speaker 1: out to a company that was one of the I
- 29:46Speaker 1: can't think of the word vendors there. Thank you. High fives.
- 29:50Speaker 6: Uh.
- 29:50Speaker 1: They are actually located in Long Island, New York. So
- 29:53Speaker 1: it's all locally grown, locally tested, locally manufactured in their
- 29:57Speaker 1: pre roles, little tiny ones and and they're handcrafted infuse
- 30:01Speaker 1: pre rolls. They've they follow all medical grade stuff so
- 30:07Speaker 1: you're not getting any of that crap in there. But
- 30:08Speaker 1: it's all at a recreational price, which is really nice.
- 30:11Speaker 1: So you're getting like what fifteen bucks a pop or
- 30:14Speaker 1: something for one and like I think three of us
- 30:18Speaker 1: smoked half of one and it was enough, right, Like
- 30:21Speaker 1: it was enough. So like, high fives, thank you so
- 30:24Speaker 1: much for the education. The monchies afterward, Thank you for
- 30:27Speaker 1: the fundians who were wonderful and like your support as well.
- 30:32Speaker 1: Follow all these guys on Instagram like they've been blowing
- 30:35Speaker 1: up Instagram like crazy, peace, love and bud and high five,
- 30:37Speaker 1: so go check them out.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Hell yeah, that should be it there.
- 30:41Speaker 2: All right. Well, with the mail bag done and over with,
- 30:44Speaker 2: let's get back to the game. Hey man, we're back.
- 30:57Speaker 2: It's time for game two. Game two is gonna be
- 31:00Speaker 2: pitch me Baby one more time. I've got a small
- 31:04Speaker 2: interesting postulation or situation for our players to consider, and
- 31:09Speaker 2: they're gonna pitch me, one at a time their ideas
- 31:13Speaker 2: for this particular situation. Whichever one I like best will
- 31:16Speaker 2: get two episode points, although the judging might be shared.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Oh so, Stevie is considering starting his own cooking show
- 31:25Speaker 2: on the Internet, and I think it's a great idea,
- 31:28Speaker 2: but I want to give him every edge we can
- 31:30Speaker 2: to make it popular. So I want our players to
- 31:33Speaker 2: pitch their ideas for the elements of Stevie's cooking show.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Tell me what he should call it, how he should
- 31:39Speaker 2: shoot it, should he have guests, what should he cook,
- 31:42Speaker 2: and most importantly, what should he call it? And I'm
- 31:46Speaker 2: sorry to say that you can't have my title suggestions
- 31:49Speaker 2: fully Baked or panic at the Crisco. Stevie, those are
- 31:56Speaker 2: my suggestions. They can't take it, but you can. Oh
- 31:59Speaker 2: my god, Stevie is not allowed to take part in
- 32:01Speaker 2: this game at all. Only Aggie and Crunchy will pitch.
- 32:05Speaker 2: But the best pitch wins and earns their team or
- 32:08Speaker 2: themselves two episode points. Stevie and Augie. You guys lost
- 32:12Speaker 2: the last game, So OGGI, I guess it comes down
- 32:14Speaker 2: to you. Do you want to go first? Or do
- 32:16Speaker 2: you want to make Crunchy goes go first?
- 32:19Speaker 5: Crunchy, how prepare are.
- 32:20Speaker 2: You for this?
- 32:22Speaker 4: I know I want to say, but I haven't written
- 32:24Speaker 4: it down, but I'm more than happy to crack on
- 32:26Speaker 4: if you want some time to think.
- 32:28Speaker 5: I'm good to go, so I can go first and
- 32:30Speaker 5: give you some.
- 32:30Speaker 2: Time go on.
- 32:32Speaker 3: Then I started first of last round, so I'll let
- 32:34Speaker 3: you take the floor.
- 32:34Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you right now, Aaron has set
- 32:36Speaker 1: the bar. Just so you know the bar has been set, motherfuckers?
- 32:42Speaker 4: You really like I do?
- 32:44Speaker 1: I like that a lot like I gotta have an offshoot,
- 32:47Speaker 1: like some show that's like if and it's just gonna
- 32:50Speaker 1: be Chris Cooks. There's fifty recipes for let's go get
- 32:57Speaker 1: the Chris go. Let's go.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, when you ready pitch me?
- 33:01Speaker 5: Okay, So I'm pitching you a web series that Stevie's
- 33:06Speaker 5: gonna end up doing. We're gonna call it Stevie bakedove In,
- 33:12Speaker 5: and it's going to be a Bob Ross style cooking
- 33:18Speaker 5: presentation where it's just going to be Stevie in a
- 33:22Speaker 5: afro wig, a full body apron and nothing else, standing
- 33:27Speaker 5: in front of a kitchenette where he will be baking
- 33:32Speaker 5: and cooking many goods. Occasionally, guest guesting will have special guests,
- 33:38Speaker 5: both cook and non cook guests. We'll have to get
- 33:42Speaker 5: Jay in that is on Stevie's contract, unfortunately, to get
- 33:46Speaker 5: him to do this. Yeah, yeah, no choice otherwise. But
- 33:50Speaker 5: then we can get others such as non celebrities, even
- 33:54Speaker 5: podcast celebrities, friends, family, was thinking about even getting uh
- 34:01Speaker 5: what's his face there? Getting Paul White in. But the
- 34:06Speaker 5: problem is is that, Yeah, the problem is is that
- 34:09Speaker 5: all the guests also have to wear a Bob Ross
- 34:13Speaker 5: afro wig, just an apron. So when it comes time
- 34:17Speaker 5: to take the cake out of the oven, they have
- 34:19Speaker 5: to kind of turn their backs to the camera and
- 34:21Speaker 5: bend over and grab the cake, which can cause some problems.
- 34:26Speaker 2: We can't put this on YouTube.
- 34:27Speaker 5: Yeah, no you can, you just can't make money off
- 34:30Speaker 5: of it.
- 34:33Speaker 3: Yes, can I do it? Yes, I'm to this.
- 34:36Speaker 4: Yeah, we have a as a guest, but who also
- 34:39Speaker 4: has to wear abron?
- 34:40Speaker 5: Yeah yeah that works, that works. Have them on there,
- 34:48Speaker 5: Lemon pound cake.
- 34:54Speaker 2: First recipe one episode one.
- 35:00Speaker 5: Fuck, oh my god, it could be all done right
- 35:04Speaker 5: here to save money in the studio just on that
- 35:07Speaker 5: side over there.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Incredible where nobody can see the kitchen.
- 35:09Speaker 5: But nobody can see the kitchen part and that way
- 35:12Speaker 5: it's nice and small. So way you guys are basically
- 35:15Speaker 5: naked in a hot fucking room, so very very calmly
- 35:22Speaker 5: making big goods while talking into the camera like Barbara's
- 35:25Speaker 5: hot box in the hot box.
- 35:27Speaker 2: Incredible. Wow, that is a excellent pitch. Uh Crunchy, You've
- 35:36Speaker 2: got your work cut out for you. But I believe
- 35:37Speaker 2: if anybody can do it, you can.
- 35:40Speaker 3: Oh how wow too? How you think of me? Stevie?
- 35:45Speaker 4: I'm gonna ask you a question. Do you like to
- 35:49Speaker 4: expand your horizon? Do you like to try new things?
- 35:52Speaker 4: Try different types? Of stuff I would.
- 35:55Speaker 1: Assume God yes all the time.
- 35:58Speaker 4: So here's my page for you. It's a little bit
- 36:01Speaker 4: of a good mythical morning type thing, but it will
- 36:05Speaker 4: work for you. Plus, I know for a fat you've
- 36:09Speaker 4: already got the sound drop for this. May I introduce
- 36:12Speaker 4: the segment, Stevie, where are my pasties? So this is
- 36:20Speaker 4: what we consider a fusion food experiment. So for those
- 36:24Speaker 4: who are unaware, there was a thing called a corners
- 36:26Speaker 4: pasti which was made for miners from going down into
- 36:29Speaker 4: the coal mines digging for coals for the whole day.
- 36:32Speaker 4: It was kind of It was basically meat, potatoes, and
- 36:34Speaker 4: vegetables all wrapped up in a puff pastry that is
- 36:38Speaker 4: like a half moon with a little crimp on the end.
- 36:40Speaker 4: They could take it down. It's like a meal in
- 36:43Speaker 4: your hand and you can just eat it and be fine.
- 36:45Speaker 4: What I'm suggesting for Stevie is we go around the world.
- 36:49Speaker 4: We've tried different types of foods. We put them in
- 36:52Speaker 4: pasties and we see if they work or they don't work.
- 36:55Speaker 4: So for example, sushi pasties, put them in try it,
- 37:01Speaker 4: rate it out of ten. We'll go to Italy pizza
- 37:04Speaker 4: pasties as cow zones anyway, But let's put in a pasty.
- 37:09Speaker 4: How does that work? There's only one way to find out.
- 37:12Speaker 4: Let Stevie try put it in a pasty. Or we
- 37:15Speaker 4: can go Brazilian. We can put any type of meat
- 37:18Speaker 4: in the pasty. You can do that, you can do
- 37:21Speaker 4: African pasties. Who knows. Just let Stevie give it a shot.
- 37:25Speaker 4: There could be endless amounts of options on this mask.
- 37:29Speaker 4: An Esquimo pasties, put fish in a pasty, no hard,
- 37:33Speaker 4: give it a try.
- 37:36Speaker 2: Oh my god. So that's interesting. I like that. That's
- 37:42Speaker 2: unique enough to stand out.
- 37:44Speaker 4: If you weren't expecting that, were you?
- 37:47Speaker 5: Like, it's like a Stevie carbon San Diego exactly TV.
- 37:54Speaker 4: Where in the world is Stevie his pasties?
- 38:00Speaker 1: That's in public domain?
- 38:01Speaker 2: Now right?
- 38:02Speaker 1: We can steal that song. I don't know, Actually, Steevie,
- 38:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna be real mean, no, don't do it, man,
- 38:08Speaker 1: because this is really difficult.
- 38:10Speaker 2: This is this is gonna be up to you.
- 38:11Speaker 1: Okay, Well, I'm gonna tell everybody right now for legal issues,
- 38:15Speaker 1: anything said on b F y tw W is property
- 38:18Speaker 1: of Midnight smoke LLC. So any of these pitches are ours.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Just the heads up and I use them all and
- 38:24Speaker 1: all the names. It might just change every season. Fuck dude,
- 38:28Speaker 1: I don't all right, So starting with the titles, first
- 38:32Speaker 1: of all, Aaron panic at the Crisco. Goddamn motherfucker, there's
- 38:36Speaker 1: at least a segment. There's a sis, there's a Crisco
- 38:39Speaker 1: segment in there.
- 38:40Speaker 2: There has to be.
- 38:41Speaker 1: There has to be. That's gonna get done. Oggie going
- 38:44Speaker 1: with Yours, Stevie bakedoff and Jesus motherfucking Christ, you had
- 38:47Speaker 1: me instantly Stevie Bakedoff and the title was great. I'm like,
- 38:50Speaker 1: I love the play on words. It's it's great and
- 38:52Speaker 1: I will be baking and be baked most of the time,
- 38:55Speaker 1: So fucking great title. Fucking crunchy the title of Yours, Steve,
- 39:00Speaker 1: you were my pasties. If anybody doesn't know, there's a sound. Hopefully,
- 39:08Speaker 1: Hey Stevie, where are my pasties? So the outtakes for
- 39:14Speaker 1: I don't know you you you might be able to
- 39:16Speaker 1: explain that you were there for it.
- 39:18Speaker 4: Yeah, so we I One of the episodes I did
- 39:22Speaker 4: with the guys previously was reverse words, where I would
- 39:25Speaker 4: try to get them to say what Scully was saying.
- 39:28Speaker 4: And one of the things I got scuny to say
- 39:30Speaker 4: was Stevie, where are my pasties? She didn't know what
- 39:33Speaker 4: paces were, so when she initially said it, because it's
- 39:36Speaker 4: about exactly the same, she went, Stevie, where are my pasties?
- 39:41Speaker 4: And it's just lived on an infamy. So therefore you've
- 39:44Speaker 4: already got the SoundBite ready to go.
- 39:47Speaker 1: Yeah, so they're right there, hold another dear point in
- 39:50Speaker 1: my heart. So right now everybody's title, all three of
- 39:53Speaker 1: you are tied, like just I can't I can't decide
- 39:55Speaker 1: any I'm going to use all three of them at
- 39:57Speaker 1: some point. I guarantee that, oh you're idea of the
- 40:00Speaker 1: Bob Rosswicks and doing then that kind of like chill
- 40:03Speaker 1: mode and whatnot. I fucking love it to bring people
- 40:06Speaker 1: on where they have to wear the same thing genius,
- 40:10Speaker 1: because that's just that's right there with with it all
- 40:13Speaker 1: and like drawing more people in and the addition that
- 40:16Speaker 1: crunch you had of throwing afro Man in there, the
- 40:19Speaker 1: lemon pound cake. Yes, I want to do Limon pound
- 40:22Speaker 1: cake with Afromn. I love all of it. Fucking crunchy,
- 40:26Speaker 1: traveling the world with Pasti's man making everything into a PASTI,
- 40:30Speaker 1: like Aaron said, unique as fuck man, and I want
- 40:34Speaker 1: to do that as well, Like that would be so
- 40:36Speaker 1: much fun. Oh my god. The only downside would be
- 40:39Speaker 1: the money part, to be able to travel, Like if
- 40:41Speaker 1: I could do it, I mean I can do it
- 40:42Speaker 1: like a background.
- 40:43Speaker 2: All right, well, uh what do you think? Can you
- 40:46Speaker 2: pick one? Or are they just evenly awesome?
- 40:49Speaker 1: Everything right now is evenly awesome. If I had to
- 40:52Speaker 1: pick some, it might be a draw. I'm gonna give
- 40:55Speaker 1: you a couple of things though, that could sway it.
- 40:57Speaker 1: So you are the host, so.
- 40:58Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 40:58Speaker 1: I might help. Right now, everything seems even. What's doable
- 41:02Speaker 1: in my realm is Aggie's idea with eceptions of the
- 41:06Speaker 1: Afroman and probably that the wigs are easy. So we're
- 41:11Speaker 1: trying very well to make a lot of money, I think,
- 41:13Speaker 1: and to sell it would be Crunchy's idea because of
- 41:16Speaker 1: the uniqueness of that.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Yeah, so let me try and sell you.
- 41:19Speaker 4: You don't necessarily have to travel, but you can do
- 41:21Speaker 4: little little video bits of what types of Japanese there are,
- 41:27Speaker 4: and then focus on the type of food you're doing
- 41:29Speaker 4: and then bring into the studios because you.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Can get like there's an international food section in every supermarket.
- 41:35Speaker 2: There is so you could get a bunch of you know,
- 41:39Speaker 2: you could do a bunch of shows without even leaving
- 41:42Speaker 2: the kitchen home. But if the show blows up, it
- 41:47Speaker 2: gets popular and you start making money, you could actually
- 41:50Speaker 2: start traveling.
- 41:52Speaker 5: Also, I didn't make the idea with finances in mind.
- 41:55Speaker 5: I assume that money would be no object regardless.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Oh that's right, but you've got.
- 42:02Speaker 5: Option because it's funny.
- 42:04Speaker 2: I would have to pay Jason music and.
- 42:08Speaker 5: Always to get them here. Yeah, we would have to
- 42:16Speaker 5: do everything and anything in the studio because that's always,
- 42:18Speaker 5: because all the rest of it would go that. But yeah, no,
- 42:21Speaker 5: and a hypothetical, I assume money is no object.
- 42:24Speaker 1: There's no object trying to make the most money out
- 42:26Speaker 1: of this, I'd have to go with what's doable. Again,
- 42:30Speaker 1: are both equal to me, But I think I'm going
- 42:31Speaker 1: to go for the pitch for a pitch meeting to
- 42:36Speaker 1: make the money.
- 42:37Speaker 2: See that's interesting. That puts me in a quandary because
- 42:41Speaker 2: if you were going to come right down the middle,
- 42:43Speaker 2: I was going to lean towards.
- 42:45Speaker 1: That's where it's so difficult.
- 42:47Speaker 2: Because they're both excellent. But I think, I think, I
- 42:50Speaker 2: think a starting show when you're when you're first starting out,
- 42:54Speaker 2: Augi's is the better idea, Whereas I think I think
- 42:58Speaker 2: Crunchies would be great for a second show a little
- 43:00Speaker 2: further once you get established, I think you'd be a
- 43:04Speaker 2: great branch out. But since you are leaning Crunchy, I
- 43:09Speaker 2: don't know.
- 43:09Speaker 1: Man, I'm gonna go right down the middle by.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Your judgment because this is gonna be your show.
- 43:15Speaker 1: So I mean what I'm what am I actually gonna do?
- 43:17Speaker 2: Oh you know what, No, that's fair because what I'm
- 43:19Speaker 2: actually because you're leaning Crunching and I'm leaning Augie. Let's
- 43:22Speaker 2: cut it right now. We're gonna give that both of
- 43:25Speaker 2: you the game. We're going to give both two points.
- 43:30Speaker 1: Yes, they were both excellent, and I'm using all of this.
- 43:33Speaker 1: I'm not kidding. I will probably try to do all
- 43:35Speaker 1: of this if I can.
- 43:36Speaker 2: Yeah, and I didn't write down a word.
- 43:39Speaker 1: That's how you win things.
- 43:42Speaker 2: So since both teams get two points, Crunchy is still
- 43:49Speaker 2: leading three points to two. But our final game is
- 43:52Speaker 2: going to decide it. It's three game, it's game three,
- 43:55Speaker 2: it's worth three points. We're gonna play it right after this.
- 44:07Speaker 8: Greetings, fellow nerds, It's Garrett, your host of the node

- 44:40Speaker 2: God damn it. Game three is just correlate.
- 44:44Speaker 3: I was so sad to the showing them.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Our favorite game of finding hidden connections is back. Your
- 44:50Speaker 2: players are going to choose between keyboard keys control all, delete, insert, home,
- 44:55Speaker 2: and end. Behind each is a set of four clues,
- 44:58Speaker 2: and each has something in common. If they figure it
- 45:01Speaker 2: out after one clue, they get five points. After two
- 45:04Speaker 2: clues three points, After three clues you get two points,
- 45:07Speaker 2: and if you need all four clues because you're a
- 45:08Speaker 2: dumb ass, one point. If the team or player does
- 45:13Speaker 2: not figure it out, the other team gets a chance
- 45:15Speaker 2: to steal with all four clues for one point. The
- 45:18Speaker 2: player or a team with the most points after all
- 45:20Speaker 2: six keys have been chosen, wins the game and gets
- 45:22Speaker 2: three episode points. Now, Aggie and Stevie you lost the
- 45:25Speaker 2: last game. Do you want to go first or do
- 45:26Speaker 2: you want to make Crunchy pick first and pick quickly?
- 45:30Speaker 2: Make go first, Make crunch you go first. Okay, Crunchy,
- 45:32Speaker 2: you have your choice. Would you like control all, delete,
- 45:36Speaker 2: insert home or.
- 45:37Speaker 3: End consider losing right now? Control control?
- 45:42Speaker 2: It is all right, So we have to read you.
- 45:44Speaker 2: I'm gonna read you the first clue and tell you
- 45:47Speaker 2: it's worth five points, and then the music will start.
- 45:50Speaker 2: Thank you. Oh the just correlate.
- 45:54Speaker 1: I got it.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Okay, Crunchy for five points. Coda k O D A coda.
- 46:05Speaker 2: I think it might be a character thing. Let's go
- 46:07Speaker 2: next one for three points. Lotso l O T S
- 46:12Speaker 2: O so okay, the next clave for two points, Ted
- 46:23Speaker 2: ted D D yeah, yep, okay, I'll go a guess. Okay,
- 46:32Speaker 2: are these names?
- 46:33Speaker 3: Are these like names of fictional bears?
- 46:39Speaker 2: Is exactly right? For two points? God?
- 46:42Speaker 1: Yes, are you serious? Yes?
- 46:45Speaker 4: I've never heard of coda, and but he gets it
- 46:50Speaker 4: just from Ted.
- 46:51Speaker 2: Coda is from brother Bear, Disney's brother Bear, Lotso is
- 46:55Speaker 2: from toy Story, Ted is of course from Ted, and
- 46:59Speaker 2: the final clue would have been Fozzy.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Oh okay, yeah, I would have gotten that one. I hope, so.
- 47:06Speaker 2: Really well done. Starts off strong with two points.
- 47:11Speaker 1: I'm playing this one right because.
- 47:13Speaker 2: We need to be quick. Yeah, all right, so Stevie
- 47:17Speaker 2: and O, you get next choice. You can have all
- 47:20Speaker 2: delete insert home or end delete delete It is all right.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Argue when you're ready. For five points Juno the movie Juno.
- 47:35Speaker 1: I know it's a pregnant team.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Next for three points the drink do sekis?
- 47:41Speaker 4: Oh uh?
- 47:43Speaker 1: What's these guys say? I can't remember?
- 47:49Speaker 4: Next?
- 47:50Speaker 2: For two points the TV show Without a Trace.
- 47:54Speaker 1: I don't watch that one. I don't drink anymore. I
- 48:02Speaker 1: can't remember next, I guess.
- 48:05Speaker 2: For one point the Nintendo game Quattro Adventure. Time is up,
- 48:15Speaker 2: Time is up, Crunchy, you may steal if you have
- 48:19Speaker 2: any idea. The clues are Juno Do Skis without a
- 48:24Speaker 2: Trace and Quattro Adventure.
- 48:29Speaker 3: I can only think of.
- 48:36Speaker 4: Drama d Stevie got it just after time ran out.
- 48:42Speaker 2: I think, Stevie, what did you say?
- 48:44Speaker 1: Numbers in them?
- 48:45Speaker 2: Yeah, they all have Spanish numbers in them. Juno has
- 48:48Speaker 2: Uno do sequis has dus without a trace is trace?
- 48:54Speaker 2: Quattro Just as the time ended, the poor Stevie, I
- 49:01Speaker 2: saw I saw your face and I saw you to say.
- 49:04Speaker 1: It it was only one point?
- 49:07Speaker 2: Yeah, it was kind of a dick.
- 49:11Speaker 4: No, I know how you feel. What the pull and Stevie?
- 49:16Speaker 2: All right, no points to Steevie Agy. Crunchy still has too,
- 49:19Speaker 2: but it's Crunchy's turn to pick. Crunchy. Do you want alt?
- 49:22Speaker 2: Insert home or end?
- 49:25Speaker 4: I always like to insert.
- 49:26Speaker 2: Let's get that insert. It is all right, and I
- 49:28Speaker 2: think you've got a good shot at this one. Ay,
- 49:32Speaker 2: ready to start the music? Uh, Crunchy for five points?
- 49:36Speaker 2: Blankety blank? Good one. I'm looking for something.
- 49:41Speaker 4: I'm looking for something specific here?
- 49:45Speaker 3: Is it UK panel game shows?
- 49:48Speaker 2: No, looking for something specific here? So you can cut
- 49:52Speaker 2: the music. I'm going to give Stevie and Augie all
- 49:55Speaker 2: four uh blankety blank? Play your cards, right, total wipeout
- 50:02Speaker 2: win Beatles money.
- 50:05Speaker 1: Don't know, I know, total wipeout.
- 50:07Speaker 5: All games we've stolen, No, we haven't yet yet.
- 50:14Speaker 1: Physical games. Yeah, like like they're not like tribute to
- 50:17Speaker 1: the physical games stuff, right, I guess so sure we're
- 50:21Speaker 1: gonna go with that. Uh what are you saying they're
- 50:24Speaker 1: all physical games? No?
- 50:25Speaker 2: They're not. Are they Are?
- 50:27Speaker 4: They all games named after the post?
- 50:31Speaker 2: No? I don't think anyone called mister Blankety hosted Blankety playing.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Like, so.
- 50:42Speaker 2: We have stolen so much from British culture. Right, Ogie
- 50:48Speaker 2: was on the right track, and and Crunchy just jumped
- 50:51Speaker 2: in too early to to give it maybe enough time
- 50:53Speaker 2: to figure it out. These are all British versions of
- 50:57Speaker 2: American game shows. Oh, the blankety blank was taken from
- 51:02Speaker 2: match game player cards, right was taken from card charts.
- 51:05Speaker 2: Total Wipeout was taken from wipe Out, and Win Beatles
- 51:08Speaker 2: money is from Win Benstein's money.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Motherfucker. That's why it sounded familiar, and I couldn't figure
- 51:13Speaker 1: out why.
- 51:14Speaker 2: I actually probably would not have gotten that.
- 51:16Speaker 5: Oh really yeah, sounded different about them. I'm like, oh,
- 51:22Speaker 5: these are clearly stolen.
- 51:25Speaker 2: I was trying to stop and budgeting and so early.
- 51:27Speaker 2: I should have said something ahead of time, but I'll try.
- 51:29Speaker 5: And do so.
- 51:30Speaker 2: On the remaining one, I just assumed it was us Stevie,
- 51:35Speaker 2: and you have all home and end to choose from
- 51:39Speaker 2: home home home home. It is all right, Stevie and
- 51:43Speaker 2: AUGI for five points The Long Good Friday, nineteen.
- 51:47Speaker 1: Eighty I don't have anything, no past for three points.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Unleashed two thousand and five.
- 52:03Speaker 1: I'm still on that first one.
- 52:05Speaker 2: Nope. Next for two points? Super Mario Brothers nineteen ninety three.
- 52:11Speaker 1: What was Unleashed? I must go to next one in
- 52:18Speaker 1: a point?
- 52:18Speaker 4: Right?
- 52:19Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 52:19Speaker 1: Next one?
- 52:19Speaker 2: All right? For one point? Who framed Roger Rabbit nineteen eighty.
- 52:23Speaker 1: Eight, Mix of Animation?
- 52:27Speaker 5: I was gonna say mix live action, Steve?
- 52:29Speaker 2: No, no, sorry, even if you had buzzed in, which
- 52:34Speaker 2: you hadn't.
- 52:35Speaker 1: I did say buzz Oh did you Steve? Because I
- 52:39Speaker 1: wasn't sure that's fair?
- 52:40Speaker 2: You were still wrong either, fair? Okay, so Crunchy, it
- 52:43Speaker 2: comes over to you to steal the long Good Friday
- 52:46Speaker 2: nineteen eight. Yeah. Are they old Bob Hoskins starring films? Yes?
- 52:52Speaker 2: They are. They all star Bob Hoskins. Well done, Uh, Stevie.
- 52:59Speaker 2: I thought you were gonna get it.
- 53:00Speaker 1: I really did you know? What's fucked up? I should
- 53:02Speaker 1: have gotten that one hundred percent should have gotten.
- 53:04Speaker 5: It, And strangely, if you would have said snow way,
- 53:06Speaker 5: I probably would have gotten it.
- 53:08Speaker 2: Yeah, because he was in movies, I think up to
- 53:12Speaker 2: twenty twelve. I thought Unleashed was one of his last ones,
- 53:15Speaker 2: but it wasn't. It's a jetly movie. No ship Yeah.
- 53:19Speaker 2: Bob Hoskins plays a mob boss who has this like
- 53:23Speaker 2: jet lye like on a leash, and as soon as
- 53:26Speaker 2: he takes everybody's asked. I never saw fantastic movie. Morgan
- 53:31Speaker 2: Freeman's in it. It's really good.
- 53:33Speaker 1: I've never seen. I gotta watch that movie.
- 53:36Speaker 2: It's awesome. And Bob Hoskins is amazing bad guy.
- 53:39Speaker 1: He's fantastic heat.
- 53:42Speaker 2: He's incredible at everything he did. All right, so there's
- 53:46Speaker 2: two left. We come back to Crunchy for the final choice. Crunchy,
- 53:50Speaker 2: do you want alt or end?
- 53:54Speaker 4: I always like a bit at the end, so well
- 53:56Speaker 4: we'll take a snap at the end.
- 53:57Speaker 2: All right, you'll take the end, which means Stephen aUI
- 54:00Speaker 2: are gonna get alt the last one. But Crunchy Europe,
- 54:03Speaker 2: this is the end category and Crunchy, I will remind
- 54:05Speaker 2: you I am looking for something specific here. Uh for
- 54:10Speaker 2: five points monopoly, Yeah.
- 54:16Speaker 4: Buzz in Instantly, I think I might have an answer
- 54:20Speaker 4: where this is going about?
- 54:22Speaker 2: For three points seeing it? Oh, I have no idea
- 54:30Speaker 2: where this is going.
- 54:34Speaker 9: Okay, next claim for two points, guitar hero. Oh, next
- 54:44Speaker 9: claim for one point, trivial pursuit. Buzz He buzzes in.
- 54:53Speaker 4: Are these old games that use colors for their main bets,
- 54:59Speaker 4: like Trivial Pursuit has the main colors for collects and
- 55:03Speaker 4: the wedges, Guitar Hero has the main colors for your
- 55:07Speaker 4: fret board, Monopoly has the main colors for the for
- 55:12Speaker 4: the properties. And seeing that I've never played, Bottom Shooting
- 55:15Speaker 4: has got color.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Somewhere seen it. I don't believe uses colors. I mean
- 55:21Speaker 2: the board color. It's the only one that doesn't, I
- 55:24Speaker 2: don't think. But it does have a colorful board. But
- 55:28Speaker 2: aside from I don't think I can give that to you.
- 55:32Speaker 2: That's not what I'm going for. So it's fun, Stevie
- 55:34Speaker 2: and Augie. I'll give you all four again. Monopoly, seen It,
- 55:39Speaker 2: Guitar Hero, and Trivial Pursuit.
- 55:45Speaker 1: Are they all the four players?
- 55:53Speaker 2: God? Yeah, no, this is tough. I think I might
- 55:56Speaker 2: have an answer. I'm curious. It is too late, but
- 55:59Speaker 2: what do you think I think it is?
- 56:00Speaker 4: Are these games that have like specialist versions, so like Monopoly,
- 56:08Speaker 4: Star Wars, Monopoly or Guitar Hero, Aerosmith and.
- 56:11Speaker 2: Stuff like that. I mean, you are on the right track.
- 56:15Speaker 2: They do all. But what I was specifically looking for
- 56:17Speaker 2: is that these all have a nineteen eighties edition. There
- 56:22Speaker 2: is a Monopoly Eighties edition, eighties edition. There's Guitar Hero
- 56:26Speaker 2: Rocks the eighties and Trivial Pursuit Eighties edition Ice.
- 56:31Speaker 1: That's a good one.
- 56:32Speaker 2: No, that sounds a really good one. Play no point
- 56:35Speaker 2: to anyone, Stevie and Augie. This is your last chance
- 56:37Speaker 2: to get on the board. Yes you have alt for
- 56:41Speaker 2: five points. The Boys from Syracuse nineteen forty. Fuck no, no,
- 56:50Speaker 2: not past for three points, Get over It two thousand
- 56:54Speaker 2: and one. Nope, no for two points. Ten Things I
- 57:03Speaker 2: Hate About You nineteen ninety.
- 57:05Speaker 1: Nine, Heath Ledger. That's the only kind of sure for
- 57:11Speaker 1: Heath Ledger.
- 57:12Speaker 2: You think Heath Ledger was in a movie from nineteen
- 57:14Speaker 2: forty Yeah, okay, well you might as well stop the music.
- 57:19Speaker 2: You are dead wrong. So I'm gonna give it to
- 57:22Speaker 2: Crunchy to try and steal the clues. Are the Boys
- 57:25Speaker 2: from Syracuse nineteen forty, Get over It two thousand and one,
- 57:30Speaker 2: Ten Things I Hate about You from nineteen ninety nine,
- 57:33Speaker 2: and Kiss Me Kate from nineteen fifty three.
- 57:38Speaker 4: The only thing I can really think of are these
- 57:40Speaker 4: romantic comedies where the two main characters hate each other
- 57:43Speaker 4: to begin with and then end up getting with each other.
- 57:45Speaker 4: I mean, you've just described almost every Roe ever, every
- 57:50Speaker 4: character hates each other to begin with it is.
- 57:53Speaker 2: I am looking for something a little bit more specific
- 57:56Speaker 2: than that, and I thought you might get this, crunch
- 58:00Speaker 2: because these are all movie adaptations of shakespeare plays.
- 58:05Speaker 4: Do you really think I'm not cultured? Saying, dude, I'm
- 58:12Speaker 4: sitting here on a T shirt that has the lyrics
- 58:13Speaker 4: to Africa? Again? Do you really think I'm culture to
- 58:18Speaker 4: know Shakespeare?
- 58:21Speaker 2: My bad? Sorry, buddy. I Love You is an adaptation
- 58:26Speaker 2: of the Comedy of Errors. Get Over. It is an
- 58:29Speaker 2: adaptation of Midsummer Night's Dream. Ten Things I Hate About
- 58:32Speaker 2: You and Kiss Me Kate are both adaptations of Taming.
- 58:35Speaker 4: Of the Shrew.
- 58:37Speaker 2: All right, Well, with that, the game is over, and
- 58:40Speaker 2: with three points to zero, our winner is Crunching. Crunchy
- 58:47Speaker 2: has won the episode six points to two. Well done.
- 58:50Speaker 4: Yes, it's been a fucking long while, but the drought
- 58:54Speaker 4: is over.
- 58:55Speaker 2: Yes, yes, Crunchy, I'm so happy you came back joined
- 59:00Speaker 2: us for another show. We need to have you more often.
- 59:04Speaker 2: You are missed by friend, and this has been joyous.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Hell yeah, do you know.
- 59:08Speaker 3: Every time I get a chance to be on here.
- 59:09Speaker 4: It feels like it's just another day that I'll be
- 59:12Speaker 4: with you guys, just chat and shiit and so almost
- 59:16Speaker 4: like I'm here every week. So it feels good to
- 59:18Speaker 4: be back. So just get me booked in. Get me
- 59:21Speaker 4: booked in.
- 59:22Speaker 2: Now, all right, that's your job getting booked in. Hell yeah,
- 59:26Speaker 2: all right, so we know who to blame if you
