- 0:003 lifelong friends, 6 trusty balls and endless NFL takes.
- 0:05Welcome to Three guys 6 Balls NFL Podcast.
- 0:08Welcome to episode 59 of Three guys 6 Balls NFL Podcast.
- 0:11I'm your host Joel and I'm here with my two Co hosts Will and
- 0:14Avery. The NFL draft is happening this
- 0:16week and that means we need to finalize our top 50 big board,
- 0:19which we'll be doing today. And then after that we'll talk
- 0:22about some draft stuff, maybe talk about some trades, maybe do
- 0:25a mock draft. We'll see what happens, but
- 0:27before we do that, Avery is your fiance with you right now?
- 0:30No. Dang it.
- 0:32Wanted to meet Derek. I wanted to meet Derek.
- 0:35Derek. Derek.
- 0:38Yeah, Derek's gone. I just thought I would ask
- 0:43because the last time we tried to meet her after the episode
- 0:46and then you said you had to take a dump and left, so I was
- 0:49hoping we would get to meet. Her.
- 0:50That was my excuse last week, yeah.
- 0:52Yeah, it was. I did also have to in fair, in
- 0:55all fairness. During recording a few weeks
- 0:58ago. I did leave in the episode.
- 1:03Well, I don't know if you ever listened that, but.
- 1:05I'm aware. You know what?
- 1:07I didn't listen to it. I heard most people text me
- 1:11dropping that he. That's so funny.
- 1:12I'm like, yeah, he did me dirty, didn't he?
- 1:18I told you I was going to leave it in.
- 1:19But you did, and I didn't doubt you.
- 1:21Anyways, let's get into this top 50 big board for the 2026 NFL
- 1:25Draft because we have a lot to talk about.
- 1:27So I'm going to share my screen before we get officially started
- 1:30ranking these guys. I do have one question for you.
- 1:32How many players in the 2026 NFL Draft would you guys give a
- 1:35first round grade 2? 32 of them because there's that
- 1:38many picks. Probably.
- 1:43I'd say like maybe 2025. Let me give you guys a little
- 1:46bit of a guideline. Let me give you a little bit of
- 1:49a guideline here. So Matt Miller, who has been an
- 1:52NFL draft analyst for a long time, says that the average
- 1:55draft class has 15 players with a first round grade.
- 1:58But in this draft class, he has only 12 players listed with a
- 2:02first round grade. And then also Dane Bruegler, who
- 2:05is another big draft analyst, says that there are 14 players
- 2:07in this draft with a first round grade.
- 2:09So I don't know if that helps you guys at all, but what do you
- 2:12guys think? I don't necessarily disagree
- 2:14with that. How many times we sat here and
- 2:16said, ah, this guy is just he's just a guy who's going to play
- 2:20or he's good at this thing, but not good at something else or
- 2:24he's going to need good players around him to be good.
- 2:28Even up to last week we were talking about with the no, not
- 2:32last year, TJ Parker. It wasn't last week, a few weeks
- 2:34ago, TJ Parker how he did really good two years ago and everybody
- 2:38knew who he was and last year he didn't do good at all.
- 2:41And so it's like, well, that's not first round, first round
- 2:44talents. You want the guys going to show
- 2:46up every play every year. That's who you want to spend
- 2:49your first round pick on. We the value of these first
- 2:51round picks, especially nowadays is incredibly high, which is
- 2:55weird because I felt like not that long ago it wasn't that
- 2:57high, but now we're back to being very valuable.
- 3:00And so to get a first round grade as a player, that's almost
- 3:04like an honor at this point. Yeah.
- 3:06I, I mean, I feel like first round usually kind of synonymous
- 3:12with that, you know, that lottery section and I know I'm
- 3:15using a basketball term, but I think it kind of applies just
- 3:18that higher echelon of first round.
- 3:21You know, if you're looking at top five pick versus, you know,
- 3:26picks 25 to 30, you know, I, I think there's kind of a drop off
- 3:31and it might just have more to do with hype or just, you know,
- 3:34who we think who you've decided is the best.
- 3:36But I mean, it really is kind of a, there's that exponential
- 3:41curve there where it's like, no, you want like a top ten top 15
- 3:45pick, you know, like who is it? You know, the Raiders, you know,
- 3:49with the whatever 33rd pick is that do they have, what do they
- 3:52have? Do they have like the first
- 3:53round first pick of the second round?
- 3:55They have fake 36. OK.
- 3:58But even that, I mean, even that, I mean, if you're looking
- 4:00at, you know, some team that's got, you know, pick 2928, you
- 4:04know, versus pick 36, I mean, I mean, it is still in a different
- 4:08round. But at the same time, I mean,
- 4:09there's not a whole lot of difference there.
- 4:11So I would still say I I, I, I, I take back what I said, I think
- 4:15there should be about 32 players that have first round grades.
- 4:19But I would be curious to know, you know, how good the latter
- 4:24half of the first round is this year compared to other years
- 4:31because it's easy when you look at, you know, top heavy drafts,
- 4:34you know the top five top 10 picks.
- 4:37But when it comes to the bottom half of the first round, I'd
- 4:40really be curious to know how this year stacks up against
- 4:43previous years. Quick question for you in this
- 4:4612 players that have or 414 players, whatever was both.
- 4:50So I think that have first round talents or first round grades.
- 4:53Does that include top five and and first round?
- 4:57Is that or because I know, I know, like in basketball
- 5:00specifically, everybody playing the 2K games, people will get
- 5:03like a top five thing or people get a lottery tag and the the
- 5:08NFL doesn't really have that as much.
- 5:10Are they counting their top five grades in there?
- 5:13Or is it? Is it all?
- 5:14How? How does that work?
- 5:15You know, I tried to look this up and I couldn't find exactly
- 5:18how they are like grading these guys, so how they determine who
- 5:22has a first round grade, but I would assume it would just be
- 5:25like a guy that they would draft in the first round.
- 5:28Oh, sure. Yeah, I don't know.
- 5:31I tried to look it up and I couldn't really find it.
- 5:32I could just find like how many guys were the first round grade
- 5:35that they actually had. So I don't know what the
- 5:37criteria is for them actually considering somebody a first
- 5:40round grade. That's like compared to previous
- 5:43years because otherwise, I mean, it, it's all relative.
- 5:47You know, I mean, you could just have, I mean, if the top 32
- 5:52players in the draft decided to leave the draft, how many first
- 5:57round grades would there be? You know, is it just the next 30
- 6:01guys up or is it like, oh, I guess there's no first round
- 6:05grades? It's like, OK, what if they
- 6:07never, what if these players never existed?
- 6:09They were never born right, you know.
- 6:11I think at that point, like grading on a curve, the curve
- 6:15changes, right? That's, that's everybody wants
- 6:17is they want, they want everyone to fail the test that we all get
- 6:20100%. And so you're, you're grading on
- 6:22a curve here. And so that's what I wonder.
- 6:25It's like, OK, well, if we're talking about first round
- 6:27grades, there should be 32 first round grades because otherwise
- 6:31it's like, well, I don't think this guy is as good as he could
- 6:33be. It's like, OK, well, I mean, how
- 6:36are we really comparing these? So I don't know, that's just I'm
- 6:39also just picking this thing apart, so.
- 6:42It's yeah. OK, so let me ask you guys
- 6:44another question and then I'll give you some information after
- 6:47you answer that might help answer this first question.
- 6:49So as a fan, what do you expect from your first round draft
- 6:53pick? The the best available team need
- 6:56out there. No.
- 6:57So like what do you expect? What do you expect from that
- 7:00player? Oh, I'm sorry, I thought you
- 7:03meant like what I want my team to draft.
- 7:05That was the obvious answer. I don't know.
- 7:08Hey, were you going to start? I would like it.
- 7:12I mean, I think the big thing is, is that you expect them to
- 7:17kind of be the face of your franchise within a few years or
- 7:20at least represent that position or that side of the ball.
- 7:24I feel like in general, like that is kind of, you know,
- 7:26that's the headline of your offseason is who is the guy that
- 7:30you went out and got? I think it's less so maybe
- 7:33towards the bottom of the first round, you know, if you've got
- 7:36pick 30, you know, when you get that guy, like it's still a
- 7:39first round pick, but that's not seen the same as pick five, you
- 7:44know, and so I I, I I feel like that upper the top half of the
- 7:48first round. It is kind of that it's like,
- 7:50look, you are expected to represent this organization more
- 7:54than more than other players. Like we we are betting the house
- 7:58on you. I don't know, it's kind of a big
- 8:00weight on these players shoulders, but more than
- 8:03anything I think just, you know, you have to perform and we
- 8:07hopefully, you know, expect you to stick around this team.
- 8:11I think best case scenario is I want a player who's going to
- 8:15contend for a starting spot in their position.
- 8:19So even if we drafted somebody, I guess the The only exception
- 8:23there would be like, like for instance, if the Rams were to
- 8:25draft Ty Simpson at 13, I don't think that's too far fetched.
- 8:29I don't expect that anymore. I don't expect Ty Simpson to be
- 8:34pushing Matt Stafford to possibly overtake him.
- 8:37But for most teams, unless you're drafting for the future,
- 8:41which like the Packers did a few years ago, unless you're
- 8:43specifically drafting for a future piece right now, I would
- 8:46expect them to compete for a starting spot in their position
- 8:50or if they're good enough, move from tackle to guard or from
- 8:55corner to safety. Or I mean, that's an incredible
- 8:58that's a lot harder than people think it is moving from corner
- 9:00to safety. But like and so is from tackle
- 9:02to guard or guard to tackle right for a starting spot
- 9:05somewhere on our my team. OK, so I feel like this is not
- 9:09what I think, but I think that most fans think that if you have
- 9:14a pick in the first round, you should be getting an elite
- 9:17player with that first round pick.
- 9:19Now, the reason I don't think that is because I actually am
- 9:22reasonable and I look into things and that's just how it
- 9:25works. But that's what most fans would
- 9:28expect based off of the comments and things like that that I see
- 9:31on Instagram and TikTok and our social media.
- 9:34Fans expect all of these guys in the draft who are going to be in
- 9:37the in the first round. They expect them to be an elite
- 9:40player. They don't have any weaknesses.
- 9:42They don't have any weaknesses. They're all.
- 9:45Erfect layers because they watched one highlight video and
- 9:47they're going to be an elite layer because they will get
- 9:49drafted in the first round. O What I did is I went back and
- 9:53I looked at the previous first round draft results and I
- 9:56started with 2023 and I went back to 2019 and I looked at
- 10:00what players you could consider elite.
- 10:02And the reason I went back to 2023 is because you always hear
- 10:05people say, well, you have to wait at least three years before
- 10:07you can truly evaluate how good a pick was.
- 10:10So I went through every pick for those five drafts and I counted
- 10:13how many players I personally would consider to be elite.
- 10:16And here's what I found. So in 2023, there were seven
- 10:19players who were elite. 2022 there's 10/20/21, there's
- 10:239/20/20 there's 7, and 2019 there's five.
- 10:27So now there could be a player or two in each draft class.
- 10:29That's debatable that I didn't put in there.
- 10:31But regardless, when you go back and look at the draft classes,
- 10:34less than half of the players drafted in the first round will
- 10:37go on to be elite players. So although fans expect their
- 10:40first round picks to come in and be great because they were
- 10:42drafted in the first round, chances are that's not going to
- 10:45happen. And that just tells you how
- 10:47truly hard it is to evaluate these players.
- 10:49So I don't know if that helps you guys with the first question
- 10:52of how many first round grades would you give or if that makes
- 10:55it harder, but I'd be curious, I mean.
- 10:58That's interesting. I I'd be curious to know how
- 11:00many busts there would be, you know, so when you're drafting,
- 11:06you know, yeah, just I, I, I mean, like the difference
- 11:09between like, OK, you know, how many of these guys in the 1st 32
- 11:13picks our actual first round guys like, like you look at you
- 11:18look at them 5, three to five years down the road and just be
- 11:22like it at the very least, was this a first round talent OR was
- 11:27this shoot we, we messed up or is it, Dang, you know, we struck
- 11:31gold here. Because I do wonder, you know,
- 11:34that because I do feel like to a degree that is what teams are
- 11:36looking at is like, OK, are we swinging for the fences on this?
- 11:41Is this a little bit of this Jordan Tyson situation where
- 11:44it's, you know, high ceiling, very low floor?
- 11:47Is it a, you know, maybe a David Bailey situation where it's
- 11:51like, you know, the the floor and the ceiling are very, very
- 11:54close, but you're getting a very safe pick of a productive player
- 11:57right away. You know, and, and so I, I do
- 12:01wonder when looking at some of these guys, you know, it's like,
- 12:05hey, what are, what are you looking at?
- 12:08You know, what are you looking for and what is the best thing
- 12:11you can expect? Because I, I, I would definitely
- 12:13agree, you know, with what Joel saying that's on average around
- 12:17like 7 to 8 guys every year, at least in the first round.
- 12:21You know, there might be 7 guys in the whole rest of the draft
- 12:24that turn out to be elite, you know, but like those, I, I mean,
- 12:28I don't know if those guys, I mean, there's probably even
- 12:31deeper research here, but knowing like, you know,
- 12:34retroactively going back and being like, hey, were these guys
- 12:37expected to be that? Were they expected to be any
- 12:41better than the pick that they were selected at?
- 12:45But either way though, I, I still, I mean, going back to
- 12:47what I was saying earlier, the, you know, first round grade, I
- 12:50mean, that is the first round grade.
- 12:52I mean, that's there, there are going to be those elite players,
- 12:55there's going to be the boss and there's going to be the guys
- 12:57that meet expectations. And that's all part of that
- 13:01first round grade. It's all part of the first round
- 13:04expectation. It's very hard to grade players
- 13:07to judge players accurately. Really.
- 13:10It's easy to just look at them and just say you're good, you're
- 13:13bad, but you accurately look at players and me.
- 13:16Well, I see this, I see that and how many times on on our videos,
- 13:20all podcast equipment. It's too, too cheap.
- 13:22If you knuckle had to do with it.
- 13:23Yeah, well, that's every time. Yeah, your phone was too cheap
- 13:27if you used to have it and you're able to make stupid
- 13:29comments like that. I just think that's.
- 13:32How you know, that's how you know that somebody truly doesn't
- 13:35know ball is if that's all they can say is if all they can say
- 13:38is make podcast equipment more expensive, you know that they
- 13:41don't know anything about football.
- 13:44That's what I comment back to them every single time, and I
- 13:46never respond to it, by the way. No, of course not.
- 13:48It's it's because they put the comments out there to get to
- 13:51clicks on their comments and all they're doing is helping us out
- 13:54anyway, not the point. The point is, is that this is
- 13:58the second year we've done this. I feel like this year we did a
- 14:00lot better than last year. And it's, it was no easier to,
- 14:03to do. We put a lot more effort in
- 14:06doing the know people and, and it's it's hard to to research 54
- 14:11players and to try to gauge them accurately against each other
- 14:16and against previous players. I would not want the job.
- 14:20I used to think I wanted a job as an NFL scout.
- 14:23I have no desire to have that job that is a A.
- 14:28I agree it would be very tough, but let's get into this ranking.
- 14:33So we have Sonny Styles ranked as a number one player right
- 14:36now. Do you guys think that it might
- 14:38have been a little bit irresponsible to put him as the
- 14:40number one player because of his combine performance?
- 14:43No, I mean, great, we're, we're talking power rankings here,
- 14:46right? Just to clarify for the
- 14:48audience, this isn't our mock draft.
- 14:51No, this is not a mock jab. This is just our top 50.
- 14:54Players, I mean, you could say it's irresponsible, I guess.
- 14:56I still like it. I like it too.
- 14:58I just wanted to make sure that you guys don't have any regrets
- 15:00because I'm going to put this on the Internet and people are
- 15:02going to be like, oh, Sonny Styles, he can't be the number
- 15:05one player. You don't know Ball.
- 15:07Well, you don't. Sorry.
- 15:11I'm pulling up our big board on my other screen.
- 15:13That way I can actually read it. The next guy I want to get to is
- 15:17Peter Woods. Peter Woods has fallen down the
- 15:19draft board for me a lot. And the reason why is because
- 15:22after taking a step back in 2025 from 2024, Peter Woods did
- 15:26almost nothing throughout this draft process.
- 15:28He did nothing to help his draft stock.
- 15:30But then you have a player like TJ Parker who also went to
- 15:33Clemson and he also took a step back in 2025 and he had the same
- 15:36questions that Peter Woods had. Well, TJ Parker went to the
- 15:40Senior Bowl and he looked awesome.
- 15:41He went to the combine and he participated.
- 15:43TJ Parker said I know you have questions about me, so let me
- 15:46answer them for you, while Peter Woods said, I know you have
- 15:49questions about me and you're going to keep having questions.
- 15:52So the fact that TJ Parker actually made an effort puts him
- 15:55way higher on the board for me than Peter Woods.
- 15:58So I think Peter Woods needs to go way down the board from 22.
- 16:02I don't like him at 22. I like that.
- 16:04I I, I do think that, you know, part of this, I would absolutely
- 16:09consider character to be a big part of this just because I mean
- 16:13that I mean, we've seen what poor character can do to a
- 16:17player that's already on a team, you know, and how it either
- 16:21deteriorates, you know, a locker room creates drama, forces
- 16:25trades, you know, puts teams in precarious situations.
- 16:28So I mean, as far as I'm concerned like that, that does
- 16:32lower him in my opinion, that kind of lowered Makai Lemon a
- 16:35little bit. It wasn't the same type of deal
- 16:37but wasn't putting off good vibes.
- 16:41OK, so just to just something on that real quick.
- 16:44So I listened to this podcast called the NFL Stock Exchange
- 16:47Podcast and one of the hosts is Connor Rogers.
- 16:50And if you guys, I don't know if you guys are familiar with him
- 16:52at all, but he went to the combine and he mentioned this
- 16:56because a lot of people were saying things similar to Avery.
- 16:59Like the way that McKay Lemon was in that interview was just
- 17:02weird and like just giving you weird vibes.
- 17:05Well, Connor Rogers said he talked to McKay Lemon after that
- 17:08and he was like totally normal, totally normal.
- 17:12He's like, I don't know what happened during that interview,
- 17:15but it was a completely different person when I talk to
- 17:19him. If anything, that just raises
- 17:21more questions. I don't know.
- 17:24It's kind of like it's that thing with the, I saw this clip
- 17:26of what's his name, Sanders? What's the guy's name?
- 17:32Shiloh. And then his brother Shador.
- 17:35It's both of them like talking on a podcast or they're being
- 17:37asked questions and Shador's sitting there using some like
- 17:41sexy voice and Shiloh's like Kate, first of all, this use
- 17:44your real voice, dude. This isn't how you sound.
- 17:47He's like, what are you talking? What are you, what are you
- 17:49talking about? And so when I see that, I mean,
- 17:51that kind of throws me off a little bit, but also just want
- 17:56wanting to know, OK, why was he different over here?
- 17:59You know, as I mean, if it's one thing, if he's like, oh, he
- 18:02explained it that he was just nervous and he didn't get a lot
- 18:05of sleep and then he realized it and he's like, OK, that was
- 18:08rough, you know, saying it, but it's like, oh, he's a different
- 18:10person here. It's like, OK, why is why are we
- 18:13getting two different versions of this guy?
- 18:15So I'm not saying that's a bad or good.
- 18:17I'm just saying that just does raise that raises another
- 18:21question. Well, it's like when I talk to
- 18:23you guys versus when I talk to my one year old daughter, it's
- 18:25like, oh, you need Wawa, You need Wawa.
- 18:28Yeah, at least at least that could be explained.
- 18:31That that could be explained though, you know, or it's like,
- 18:34hey, this was the reason I want to know like so you talk to
- 18:38these members of the media like this, but this guy like that,
- 18:41it's like, is there an explanation?
- 18:44Like at least if I say like Joel, do you really call water
- 18:47Wawa? You could easily say I was
- 18:49talking to my child, my baby child, my.
- 18:52Australian accent got. It got it anyway.
- 18:58OK, so let me ask you guys this because we haven't really
- 19:00accomplished anything here. So we have 54 players on the
- 19:03board. Who are the four players need to
- 19:05be off the board? Lee Hunter.
- 19:13OK. I'm good.
- 19:14I'm totally good. With that.
- 19:15I have to go on, is Caleb Banks in the top 50 for you guys?
- 19:20Yeah, see, here's the problem with Caleb Banks.
- 19:22He's the one that just doesn't know how to play football.
- 19:24He's the Shamar. He's he's a Shamar Stewart type,
- 19:27right? Has all the physical attributes.
- 19:29Just doesn't know how to play football.
- 19:31Now he knows how to play football, doesn't know how to
- 19:34excel at his position. How many of these guys are just
- 19:37ranked out of pure potential? So I feel like, yeah, he should
- 19:39stay. Do you think he should be
- 19:41towards the bottom? Because right now he's at 43.
- 19:43This is just. A random order.
- 19:45I'd lower him a bit. Yeah.
- 19:50Like 45. I'd raise Eli's.
- 19:52I'd raise Eli's towers a bit. I'd lower Brandon Sissy a bit.
- 19:55He's already at 47 so there's not much lower he can go.
- 19:59There's there's always a little lower like I can go.
- 20:03I'd even raise Chris Johnson. Where is Chris Johnson ranked on
- 20:07this? He's right at 48.
- 20:09Are we fighting again? We've already fight about this
- 20:13guy once. Yeah, Joel wasn't there for
- 20:17that. Or was it?
- 20:18It was. Last week, it was last week.
- 20:20Yeah, I was there for that. That's right.
- 20:22OK, so who are the three players you guys want to kick out now?
- 20:25I actually really like D'Angelo Ponce.
- 20:27I'm curious as to why they had removed him.
- 20:30That dude, That dude was everywhere.
- 20:32Every time I watched an Indiana game that guy was all over the
- 20:35place. We could take it out, no.
- 20:38Easy choice. No, it's not.
- 20:40So I'm going to be honest, I'm not super, super high on
- 20:43Zechariah Branch. Like I think he can be a good
- 20:45player, but I don't know if I'd necessarily view him as a top 50
- 20:49player. Yeah, no, that's fair.
- 20:52I I could see him definitely being a day 2, day three guy.
- 20:55He didn't seem like any necessarily game changer, just
- 20:58one of those special teams guys. Yeah.
- 21:00And then you got to remember, like, this is just the top 50.
- 21:02So if if they're ranked at 51 or below, they're not bad.
- 21:06It's just this is our top 50 players.
- 21:08I just don't feel like he's really like anything special.
- 21:12I'm cool with that. OK, cool.
- 21:16I'll take him out all right we got to eliminate 2 more will do
- 21:20you think Chris Brazil is a top 50 player?
- 21:23Because I know you like him and I know Avery does not like him.
- 21:27I. Wasn't going to say something.
- 21:29He's got the general speed. I just don't know if
- 21:31positionally if that puts like like he's not the top echelon
- 21:35wide receiver. I don't think he goes until day
- 21:38three so maybe that alone pushes by the top 50.
- 21:42I'm fine with pushing him out of the top 50.
- 21:44That's fine. And we got to eliminate one more
- 21:46guy, Max. I need you guys to do this
- 21:49because I need to get more eyes from my thumb.
- 21:51I it's literally blistering. I burnt it earlier.
- 21:54Font. Wait, Avery, you said remove
- 21:56Max? Yeah, the tackle from you want
- 22:00to give. It a shot on the last name
- 22:01there. E and A he natural E and natural
- 22:09E and a core. Pretty close, actually pretty.
- 22:13I'm pretty close. Maxi Editor.
- 22:16E anatronios, that makes sense. That makes more sense than what
- 22:18I said. Yeah, I'm cool with moving out.
- 22:21Cool. What?
- 22:21Do you think about Jacob Rodriguez Avery?
- 22:25He's at 24 right now. I'm going to put him above Peter
- 22:28Woods anti Simpson. Oh, drop Peter Woods a lot.
- 22:32Drop it. Honestly dude, just straight up
- 22:35drop him below Brandon C Say straight up move him down.
- 22:39We can move him up later. Move Chris Johnson up like to
- 22:4435. 35. You heard me.
- 22:47You heard me. That's right.
- 22:49That is. Your eyes way too high.
- 22:51Sorry, your voice of reason is back.
- 22:53Well, that is bald. Told Avery that he knows him.
- 22:57Look, I'm so happy that Avery and Balls have conversations
- 23:00regularly. I personally get my face that
- 23:02close. I just need you to not put him
- 23:06that high. OK, so here's what I would do.
- 23:09I would put TJ Parker above him. I would put Chase Basantis above
- 23:12him. I would put.
- 23:14No, not Colton Hood. Well, Colton Hood.
- 23:18Stowers, Stowers, McCoy. Stowers should go into the
- 23:22second column. Stowers should absolutely be
- 23:25second column. I don't disagree with that.
- 23:27So who would we move out of second column?
- 23:29Do you want to move Ty Simpson out of the second column all
- 23:31together? Yes, Bernard.
- 23:34Yeah, Ty Simpson should be out of there.
- 23:36Yeah, he's the second best quarterback, but it doesn't mean
- 23:39he's. Ty Simpson in the first round
- 23:41guy though. He will, but that doesn't mean
- 23:42he's necessarily the a top. That means that someone really
- 23:46needs a quarterback. True, true.
- 23:48Look, if let's be honest, between us, between us Oregon
- 23:52guys, if Dante Moore would have been selected above Simpson,
- 23:56Simpson doesn't need to be in that, doesn't need to be that
- 23:59high. If Dante Moore, I don't think
- 24:02before, I don't. Think when the draft happens
- 24:04that Dante Moore would have been selected before Guy Simpson.
- 24:08You don't think so? I don't think so.
- 24:11I could go like #2. Yeah, he was.
- 24:14He was the I. Understand.
- 24:17I understand that he. Was the Mariota.
- 24:20But Jameis Winston is not a bad comp.
- 24:23The dude played for years and didn't realize he needed
- 24:25glasses. I am not high on Dante Moore and
- 24:28he is the starting quarterback for the team that I want more
- 24:30than anything to win the national championship.
- 24:32Yep. So I'm.
- 24:34Really hoping so. I'm really hoping this offseason
- 24:37figure he figures it out. I'm really hoping.
- 24:39I do not think he's going to be a good professional quarterback.
- 24:45You got to, if you're daunting more, you're watching this.
- 24:47That's got to be tough because like, dude, we want to see you
- 24:51succeed. In every game I watch, I hear
- 24:54the announcers gush over this guy's going to be a top
- 24:57prospect. Look at how poised he is.
- 24:58I'm like, he's got a good team, he's well protected, he's got
- 25:02weapons, but he's not showing me anything other than that.
- 25:06He seems just like a very solid quarterback.
- 25:09And then, as soon as any pressure showed up, folded like
- 25:13a chair. Like an old chair folded in my
- 25:18K. Good.
- 25:18Get Dylan Riola in there. Have him just poking at his
- 25:22back. Figure it out man.
- 25:27I think Monroe Freeling needs to move up and if nobody cares, I
- 25:30get to nobody cares but I because he's an.
- 25:33Offensive tackle. Whether I think he's, he's our
- 25:38web, whatever, he is top 25, top 22 really.
- 25:44Does Denzel Boston. Serve to me are they he?
- 25:47He probably should have a third column I I'm not high on Denzel
- 25:51Boston, but that's a me. Thing I'm not that high on him
- 25:54either. I wouldn't move him to 3rd.
- 25:55I'd move him lower second, like a lot lower.
- 26:00Maybe like around your mod. Yeah, I'm, I'm cool there.
- 26:04Anywhere over there? I don't think, OK, OK, can we
- 26:08just pause here real quick? Look at the consistency of
- 26:12players here. Pardon my children yelling in
- 26:14the background. I probably should stop talking.
- 26:16It's too late. We have we have greens and blue
- 26:20numbers all over the place. Either one through 28 right now
- 26:25and people have grades. It's 29.
- 26:28This guy no longer even has a grade.
- 26:30How on earth are we judging him as a first round talent and in
- 26:34our top 30? He didn't even, he doesn't even
- 26:38have a body of work enough to put a grade on.
- 26:41I do not understand the love for your mom, McCoy.
- 26:44It's all. Past all the people on our
- 26:46TikTok will. Dallas, the Dallas Cowboys need
- 26:50to draft him because look what he did do.
- 26:53Oh, we were good in the 90s. Oh, he was good two years ago.
- 26:56That is a match made in heaven. That is, that is the definition
- 27:00of team fit. You were good in the past.
- 27:04We'll take you. Come on over.
- 27:07Raiders draft for speed. There's that for Dallas.
- 27:11Let's move D'Angelo Pawns right below Chris Johnson.
- 27:18Yeah, D'Angelo Pawns is small, but I think he's really, really
- 27:20good. What do you guys think about
- 27:23Anthony Hill Junior? I know you're pretty high on
- 27:26him. Does he?
- 27:27Deserve to be a 24. Does he deserve to be a 24?
- 27:30I think so I don't I don't like him too much lower.
- 27:33I'd probably move Dude. I like Pregnon, but maybe I just
- 27:40didn't. Maybe I was just too critical of
- 27:42him when he was at Oregon. I know he's an Oregon guy.
- 27:46I don't want to hype him up. Like I do think Siddiq and
- 27:49Thanaman are Ballers. Pregnant was always.
- 27:55I'm not going to talk about pregnant.
- 27:57He is. It's too close to home, too
- 27:59close I'm. Going to be honest I feel.
- 28:01Fine, I'll do it. OK, I don't think pregnant is
- 28:05better than Proctor. I don't think pregnant is better
- 28:09than where's your guard on here? Steel and Rutledge is at 50
- 28:15right now. Basantis is at 36.
- 28:18Basantis is what I was thinking of.
- 28:20I don't think pregnant is better than basantis but but here's The
- 28:23thing is that big board wise guards do not get valued very
- 28:26high. I think it doesn't matter.
- 28:29It doesn't matter about value. It doesn't matter.
- 28:31About value, personally it does. It's just about the.
- 28:34Player. It's just about the player, it's
- 28:36not about value. Well.
- 28:39Do you guys want to move Dramod McCoy any higher than he is
- 28:41right now? No, definitely not higher, but I
- 28:44don't feel like hiding the platform to talk about him much.
- 28:46I mean, we can make a few adjustments later, but I feel
- 28:49like overall it's pretty solid right now it.
- 28:52Is solid. Yeah, I do think Eli Stowers is
- 28:54the second column guy. I think he was straight up
- 28:58biting at shipping at Canyon City's heels that I would use a
- 29:04would. You put him in the top 30.
- 29:06Yes, at the bottom. Or would you put them out just
- 29:09outside of the top 30? I'd say just out.
- 29:12So do you think Jeremy Bernard or KC Concepcion is better?
- 29:16I think Concepcion. I agree with that right?
- 29:20I think that's pretty solid. Well, we'll make some
- 29:24adjustments to it, but I think it's pretty good overall.
- 29:26And I'll post this on a social media before the draft happens
- 29:29so people can tell us how much we suck.
- 29:32So let's talk about some draft stuff and really actually what I
- 29:36want to talk about first before we get into that, and this is
- 29:38related to the draft, let's talk about the Bengals and Giants
- 29:41trade because I feel like that's worth talking about.
- 29:44So the Bengals and Giants just made a trade with the Giants
- 29:47sending Dexter Lawrence to the Bengals in exchange for the
- 29:49number 10 overall pick in this year's draft.
- 29:51Who do you guys think won the Bengals and Giants trade the
- 29:54Giants? It's almost as if the Bengals
- 29:57had a first round talent edge, right?
- 30:00Or defensive lineman. It doesn't really matter what
- 30:01position, defensive lineman on their team.
- 30:05And then they just didn't have him anymore.
- 30:06They just let him leave and then let everybody else leave.
- 30:09I don't get what the Bengals were doing.
- 30:11I said Giants win just because the Bengals don't know how to
- 30:14manage. And they paid him more.
- 30:16They paid him money that they weren't willing to pay to Trey
- 30:18Hendickson. Yeah.
- 30:20Nice. Just I'm so confused by this.
- 30:23That's the first thing I said is that why are we, what are we
- 30:25doing? What are the Bengals?
- 30:28Doing I think the Giants won this trade because they got rid
- 30:31of a player who didn't want to be there anymore and they got a
- 30:33top ten pick in the NFL draft in return.
- 30:36But the big reason why I think the Giants won this trade is
- 30:39because both the Cowboys and the Giants have been heavily linked
- 30:42to Sonny Styles and Caleb Downs. Well, there's been a lot of talk
- 30:45about Dallas trading up to get one of those guys and using
- 30:48their two first round picks at 12 and 20 to do it.
- 30:51But now the Giants have come in and said, not so fast, Jerry,
- 30:55we've got picks 5 and 10. So now the Giants have put
- 30:57themselves in a spot where they can either outbid the Cowboys to
- 31:00move up if they feel they need to, or they can potentially pick
- 31:03both styles and downs before Dallas gets to make a pick.
- 31:07And if that ends up happening, that is some genius level stuff
- 31:10to keep those two players away from a division rival who they
- 31:13knew wanted them. So I think the Giants won this
- 31:16trade because of that reason. Going for both of us.
- 31:18I mean, we have them as what, literally our top guys.
- 31:22Our top two players. Are literally top 2.
- 31:24So I mean, as far as we're concerned, yeah, if the Giants
- 31:28go out and get those two guys. And they have Jackson Dart, a
- 31:31quarterback. And CTE reincarnated himself.
- 31:36CTE personified. Personified.
- 31:39That's the right word. Thank you so much for your help.
- 31:42You're welcome. You're welcome.
- 31:43I'm just trying to think about all of the things the Bengals
- 31:47are just fumble, I guess is the right word or like or like just
- 31:51weird saying this like like drafting Shamar Stewart because
- 31:56you need edge help. OK, he didn't pan out.
- 31:58So what are we going to do? We're not going to resend drain
- 32:01Hendrickson, one of the best edge rushers in the league.
- 32:04OK, well, OK, he's going to leave to a team who tried to
- 32:08sign a different edge rusher and then said he would didn't pass
- 32:11the physical, send him back. OK, so we get this other guy
- 32:15from the Bengals who doesn't want to be there.
- 32:17And then what, you know, what we actually need is defensive line
- 32:19help. So let's go ahead and go trade a
- 32:22top pick for for defensive line help.
- 32:25And I just this is just bad. I know I already said this.
- 32:29I just this is just such bad management.
- 32:30I can't I can't get over this. I just is Jim Harbaugh like a
- 32:38wizard or something? Like is he doing this Just some
- 32:40monuments of stuff to where Like if if Harbaugh is Jim right,
- 32:45John? John.
- 32:47John. Just John, it's John.
- 32:49This is my bad. They're like J Harbaugh.
- 32:52It's J Harbaugh. J Harbaugh.
- 32:55If he was still in Baltimore, there's no way that Max Crosby
- 32:58stuff happens. There's just no way he would not
- 33:00allow it to happen. He but yeah, here he is making
- 33:04just monumental trades. And you're right.
- 33:05Well, it could be to out trade to outbid Dallas on any kind of
- 33:09trade they want. I just, I'm just frustrated with
- 33:14this Bengals organization. Drafting Shamar Stewart, I
- 33:17thought was the first and last straw.
- 33:19I didn't understand that. I don't understand how a whole
- 33:21room full of adults that that claim to personally no ball
- 33:27decided to pay Shamar Stewart. Don't understand that.
- 33:31Because he had 1 1/2 sex what are you talking about?
- 33:331 1/2 sex. They probably missed the 1.5 and
- 33:37thought it was 15. Probably it's the only way you.
- 33:40Can overlook a decimal they're. Illiterate.
- 33:41They're illiterate. It's the only way it makes
- 33:43sense. That's Ohio for you.
- 33:45Oh wait, Ohio people are not illiterate.
- 33:47We have to say that because it's it's mean.
- 33:50Yeah, I. My lawyer told me I had to.
- 33:52He's whispering my other. Ear, Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:58All right, so I've got another question for you guys and it has
- 34:01to, this is like an NFL draft prediction type of question.
- 34:04So from 2016 to 2025, the first round of the NFL Draft averaged
- 34:085 1/2 trades. Now the number was lower over
- 34:11the last two years, with four being made last year and five
- 34:14being made in 2024. How many trades do you think we
- 34:17see in the 2026 NFL Draft first round?
- 34:20Is this is during the draft, not kind of when the training
- 34:23happened? During the draft.
- 34:25Oh, I think we see less than 5 and 1/2.
- 34:29Was that the question? Did I answer the question right?
- 34:31Yes. Any particular reason as to why?
- 34:34Because people are doing it beforehand now we see a lot more
- 34:37stuff beforehand and, and pre draft.
- 34:40And I, I think that the illegal tampering period for free agency
- 34:45has a lot to do with this. They were allowed to sign their
- 34:48players earlier and so it moved the whole schedule of the
- 34:51offseason up a bit. And so we're seeing more
- 34:54movements now rather than on draft night.
- 34:58There was a time where people weren't focused on that.
- 35:00They weren't focused on the draft, but they weren't focused
- 35:02on making these major trades as early.
- 35:06And I think every single year as the technology gets greater, we
- 35:10have more information at our fingertips earlier.
- 35:14And so we already know these things.
- 35:16We already know that. Was it Caleb Banks who has the
- 35:18broken foot just had surgery like like that stuff that would
- 35:23not be mass marketed like it was this year.
- 35:28Maybe it would have been the last couple years, but this year
- 35:31and even moving forward, it's just going to be more and more
- 35:33with AI, with everything else coming in, we just have more
- 35:36access to information at our fingertips to where we don't
- 35:38need to make these blockbuster trades on draft nights because
- 35:41we're just doing it beforehand. It's not about it's no longer
- 35:44the spectacle of oh wow, this crazy thing happens.
- 35:47It's it's a, hey, let's do this early.
- 35:50That way we can plan ahead. We're trying to be better
- 35:52planners. Except for the Steelers with
- 35:54Aaron Rodgers. Because they're not planning
- 35:57anything. They have no.
- 35:58That is a bit of, I don't know, a bit of a bit of column maybe
- 36:02column B, right? Rodgers won't commit.
- 36:04Neither will the Steelers. And the Steelers, the last thing
- 36:06we do is piss him off. And they're all saying Rodgers
- 36:09wants to do is tell anybody what he's got going on.
- 36:12He's immunized, right? Well, I just set you up.
- 36:16I just set you up to talk about Will Howard, and you didn't
- 36:19mention him one time. Silent Assassin.
- 36:24Silent Assassin. So silent, so quiet.
- 36:29I'm bummed out here in playing time.
- 36:31Will's upset that Aaron Rodgers didn't get hurt, Yeah.
- 36:35Yeah, I mean, we said the same thing.
- 36:37You just said the quiet part out loud.
- 36:38Yeah. Yeah, yeah, maybe he just could
- 36:41have sucked really bad. And they're like, will get in
- 36:43there, get in there. Real bad all.
- 36:51Right. Do you guys have any predictions
- 36:53for what's going to happen during the NFL Draft?
- 36:55I think Fernando goes number one.
- 36:59That's my, that's my OK. That's a.
- 37:00That's a pretty solid bet. I think we miss a draft pick.
- 37:04I think time expires on somebody and we and somebody's picks gets
- 37:08skipped. So they've lowered the time from
- 37:1010 minutes to 8 minutes. And so they don't have they,
- 37:14they're missing 2 full minutes, which I think is another reason
- 37:17as why we're seeing trades now rather than draft night.
- 37:20Because to get a trade finalized within now you're making these
- 37:23deals beforehand. But to get fully finalized and
- 37:27pushed through in 8 minutes is not a lot of time.
- 37:30And so I, I do think that that we're going to get some GM who
- 37:34didn't know the rule changed, just like Rick Robert Riviera
- 37:37who didn't know the game to end of the tie a little bit like
- 37:40there was what, 5-6 years ago because I was going to end of
- 37:43the tie someone wasn't, they were too busy with other
- 37:46responsibilities. And when it finally happens and
- 37:50I could see this like. That happened.
- 37:54Oh, I'm thinking of Donovan McNabb from like 15 years ago.
- 37:59Yeah, that also happened then. Also, what?
- 38:02Like, dude, I knew that. Like besides knowing that they
- 38:06can end in a tie just by playing Madden and looking at the
- 38:09records, I mean, like, Oh yeah, they tied a couple times.
- 38:13Dude. There's been big headlines of of
- 38:17important people in football making the mistake of saying I
- 38:21didn't know a game could end in a tie For you to say that, Like
- 38:24you can't still be saying that. It's happened too many Times
- 38:27Now. Where?
- 38:29I could see this being like teams that have multiple picks
- 38:33in the first round, they have Browns, the second Browns pick
- 38:35in the first round, I think they've got 2, right?
- 38:38I can see that that going them submitting the pick at like 8
- 38:43minutes and 10 seconds. Like what do you mean the pick
- 38:45is I can't pick. What are you talking about?
- 38:48Because everything else goes so smoothly.
- 38:50Now I'm just picking on the Browns because the Browns.
- 38:51But like, but like in reality, I feel like that's going to be an
- 38:55issue. I could be totally over my skis
- 38:57here but but it's it's two last minutes which is not
- 39:00insignificance. So if you don't if you don't
- 39:03pick someone, do you just forfeit your pick or does it go
- 39:07to as far as I understand auto auto draft and it just.
- 39:10Takes the next. Drive on the on the on the big
- 39:12board. Believe it works.
- 39:14Because I think I don't remember what year it was, but I think
- 39:16this. Happens alphabetical, just the
- 39:18last name. I think this is like a one year.
- 39:22I think this happened to the Ravens one year where they
- 39:24missed their pick and then the next team just got to go, but
- 39:28the Ravens still could have gone after that team, but then they
- 39:31missed their pick again and they missed it like 3 or 4 times in a
- 39:34row or something like that. And the teams that were behind
- 39:37them just got to pick until the Ravens actually made a pick.
- 39:41So I don't, I don't know, I don't know how far out, I don't
- 39:46know how far you're allowed to take that.
- 39:48Like can you just, can you just keep moving back as far as you
- 39:51want? I don't know how far you can do
- 39:53that. We want to move.
- 39:54Back. But nobody wants to trade us so
- 39:57we're just going to wait. You know what we want our guy
- 40:00we're not talking about what where they have 14 we're not
- 40:02going to pick 14. We want him at 20 Nobody wants
- 40:05to trade us. We'll wait you.
- 40:07You should, technically. Technically, you should be able
- 40:09to do that. I'm imagining like, you know,
- 40:11you're in line to go to a concert.
- 40:13You got your ticket ready. Everyone's going in your
- 40:15tickets, not, you know, fully ready.
- 40:17And you're sitting there fumbling through and like, OK,
- 40:19well, as soon as you get it ready, let me know.
- 40:20Otherwise, we're letting other people in.
- 40:22And you should technically be able to sit there.
- 40:24You've waited in line. You're there as soon as you're
- 40:27ready to give them a name, like, go ahead.
- 40:30It's your pick. It's just a real bad.
- 40:33Work for organization. I, I wish they would now if they
- 40:40didn't punish the players, I wish they would just remove the
- 40:43pick. But that's the problem is that
- 40:44it, that it punishes the players where there's only 31 picks in
- 40:48the first round now 32 so that I'm against.
- 40:52I was pretty big on the, the Ravens should have their first
- 40:55round pick removed because of this whole Max Crosby thing.
- 40:59I've been talked out of that because that hurts the players
- 41:02more than the tape. They need to keep Max crowd.
- 41:05They need to keep not having Max crowds.
- 41:06Me and whatever I'm more on the side of.
- 41:08They should have to pay his contract anyway, but that's not
- 41:10the point. It looks like it was the 2011
- 41:13Baltimore Ravens that that happened to.
- 41:16And also see it happening not day one because there are teams
- 41:19that don't have picks until like the late second round and the
- 41:22second, second and third rounds and in the 4th through 7, they
- 41:26also have shorter times. And so like the Jaguars don't
- 41:29picked up 56, the Broncos don't picked up 52, Falcons don't
- 41:33pick. Now it's out 48.
- 41:34I can see one of them. Just like I sleep at the wheel.
- 41:37I'm so curious, Like how I'm just thinking of Tyler Sprague
- 41:41and Brandon Lavoe, those those Ravens fans.
- 41:45I'm just imagining. Some shout out names.
- 41:51Big time dog sing energy right now.
- 41:53I'm just a real quick, sorry this to cut you off, but we
- 41:57shooted our way through French class our second our sophomore
- 42:01year because it was miserable. So there's that side by side.
- 42:06In here I. Was there, We didn't sit side by
- 42:08side. No, we, we were there.
- 42:11I probably had to actually do work and stuff.
- 42:13You did. You did anyway.
- 42:17Yeah, but I'm just imagining them watching the draft and
- 42:20being like, what the hell is going on?
- 42:24Here's then I wonder who we're going to get?
- 42:26Actually, nobody. You're not going to get anybody.
- 42:29No one. Was in the office tonight.
- 42:32Yelling at your TV. They keep showing the warm
- 42:35people look like they're working.
- 42:37No one's actually working. It's the March Madness box
- 42:40button on CBS. Your boss comes around, puts a
- 42:43bunch of fake spreadsheets under the screen.
- 42:45Oh look, we're doing stuff. Just in there watching.
- 42:47Avery, did you apologize to your dad?
- 42:49Sorry Dad, I think I cussed a couple times.
- 42:52I didn't actually recognize that you cussed, which is a me
- 42:55problem like I understand. It wasn't really It wasn't.
- 43:00It was. I think I said hell.
- 43:02Yeah. Oh, does that count?
- 43:04It's in the Bible. I put that as AC list.
- 43:08That's AC list word like. Here, I'll tell you.
- 43:11I'll tell you why it doesn't count, because I'll say hell,
- 43:15that's why it doesn't count. That's true.
- 43:17It's just Joel, it's all approved.
- 43:18Doesn't. You got a dirty mouth, Joel, but
- 43:20you're a foreigner and that's normal for you.
- 43:22In Australia it's not a bad word, so I say that all the time
- 43:25and I don't care. Word America.
- 43:32For now anyways, what do you guys say we do?
- 43:34Quick top 15 and a film out draft.
- 43:37Sure, Doug, let's do it. Probably the PFF mock draft
- 43:39simulator. I did.
- 43:41I knew it. You already haven't queued up.
- 43:43That's how much I knew it. Good gal, I crushed this. 1.
- 43:47I mean, Fernando, right? It's got to be.
- 43:50I should have just had that one done already before I even
- 43:52shared my screen with you guys. All right, who are The Jets
- 43:55taking to #2? Hi.
- 43:57If I hope they pick David Bailey because they're The Jets and I
- 44:01just want them to not have. I don't want them to have
- 44:05success. I don't think they deserve it.
- 44:08What do you? Guys make of The Jets cancelling
- 44:10their top 30 visit with David Bailey.
- 44:13Do you think that means that they're not going to pick David
- 44:15Bailey? It's possible I.
- 44:20Did she just say no, they're not?
- 44:22Yeah, that's why I mean, myself, it is bedtime.
- 44:26It is bedtime in the Olson residence.
- 44:28And if you have kids, you understand that means someone's
- 44:31going to yell that for sure because they should be in bed
- 44:36and they're not, and that is the problem anyway.
- 44:38I'm sorry, what was the question?
- 44:40Can you please rephrase? What do you what do you make of
- 44:43The Jets canceling their top 30 visit with David Bailey?
- 44:46Oh, we're at a point now To where?
- 44:48To where? What else are they going to
- 44:49learn from it? What else they need to know from
- 44:51him? They've met with him probably a
- 44:53few times already. They probably communicate via
- 44:55with his agents a lot. What more information are they
- 44:59going to gain from talking to him?
- 45:00I personally feel like this pic is going to be Arville Reese.
- 45:04I think he's going to be Arville Reese.
- 45:06I think they finally make the correct pick and then everyone
- 45:09forgets about the fact that their covers are sleeping the
- 45:12combine. He was watching.
- 45:15No, the scouts were watching. Not him, the scouts.
- 45:18Were watching, that is their actual job so it's fine.
- 45:21OK, so the Cardinals at 3, this one, I, I truly have no idea
- 45:24what they're going to do. I feel like they're going to
- 45:26trade out of the pick, but if they stay put, I don't know who
- 45:29they're going to pick. They're going to take Ty
- 45:32Simpson. They would.
- 45:34Not a three or not you think they would.
- 45:36They'd probably take Ty Bailey, David Bailey.
- 45:40What trades? Oh, Daniel?
- 45:42So what trades are available? Oh, it doesn't allow us to do
- 45:45trades because you see, it's locked right here because you
- 45:48have to pay for it, apparently. Oh.
- 45:51All right, Do you guys think that Jeremiah love to the Titans
- 45:53hype is real? I do.
- 45:57You know why I think it's real? Because this is a thing that's
- 45:59been said too many times over. The Titans are going to feel the
- 46:02peer pressure and just do it anyway.
- 46:04Do it because this is what everybody thinks they're going
- 46:06to do. Oh, and then you thought we were
- 46:07going to do it, so we might as well just do it.
- 46:09So I that's that's my take on this.
- 46:12Remember that last time they drafted a good running back?
- 46:15Remember that. Remember that.
- 46:16Remember that. One time he was very good for
- 46:18them. He was their only offense.
- 46:20Still is very. Long time.
- 46:22Literally. I just, I don't understand how
- 46:29the Titans could think that they have the roster and the
- 46:33offensive line to draft Jeremiah Love.
- 46:35Their offensive line is not good.
- 46:37You don't have the offensive line to draft Jeremiah Love with
- 46:40the number four overall pick. Sure, you can do it.
- 46:42I don't know if it's going to go well because your offensive line
- 46:45is not good. I just don't think the Titans
- 46:46are in a position to draft Jeremiah Love at the number four
- 46:49overall pick, but they might do it anyway.
- 46:52Paul didn't do horrible last year, right?
- 46:54I mean, they have two guys who are capable, but neither of them
- 46:57are elite running backs, right? And I think this is a contract
- 47:01here for Pollard. So I think they, I think they
- 47:03make that pick. OK.
- 47:06All right. For me, with the Giants at five,
- 47:09I would go Sony styles. Yeah, Sony styles.
- 47:12OK, where do the Browns go with the number six pick, Maui Noah?
- 47:16You know what, if there was a place for Ruben Bane to go, I
- 47:20feel like it might be the Browns.
- 47:24Unfortunately, I think, I think Ben goes at to seven in
- 47:27Washington, but that's a main thing.
- 47:28I don't know, Caleb Downs could go there.
- 47:31Has the balls to draft Caleb Downs.
- 47:34Why? Neither the Browns.
- 47:41All right. Let's just say I drive a 1993
- 47:45Geo Metro, OK? I don't know.
- 47:47Let's just say I do. I I can drive up to the gas
- 47:52station and put premium gasoline in that bad boy.
- 47:55I can do it. I can pay the extra dollar plus
- 47:57a gallon for premium gasoline, or I can continue to put the
- 48:03trash in my trash and we can just be trash until we die
- 48:07together. There's no way they have the
- 48:09balls to draft the guy that they need to draft.
- 48:12That's why Maui Noah goes now and he is.
- 48:15They try to get Joe Thomas. It doesn't work.
- 48:17Now we know it's terrible, and then Reuben Bain goes next
- 48:20because they're trying to fill the hole, and then Bobby Wagner
- 48:23just basically kicks the guy off the team because he's terrible
- 48:26with short arms. All right, All right.
- 48:28Wagner's not on the roster currently.
- 48:30He will be premonition all. Right.
- 48:34So we're going now. We know.
- 48:36I think that's the right thing. I also don't think the Browns
- 48:39would draft Freeling there because they're the Browns.
- 48:42Hauser don't think they would draft Venga.
- 48:44Huana. Crushed it every single time.
- 48:46Never said it wrong one definitely.
- 48:48Definitely not they. Would draft him there either.
- 48:52Venga Yohani. That's.
- 48:54What I said. It's not that hard.
- 48:59It's really not that hard. It's really not hard.
- 49:04I will be later. Shout out to be buying Reese
- 49:11huh. We have gone off the rows and I
- 49:23cannot say help by saying this is my fault.
- 49:26Somehow shout out to my wife give him.
- 49:29Reuben. Give him Reuben.
- 49:31Reuben Bain. I also don't hate a man's sort
- 49:33of lane pick here. I hate it for the Rams, but I
- 49:37don't hate that pick here. I think they would go Caleb
- 49:39Downs before they go Dulane. Yeah.
- 49:42It's between Bain and Downs for me.
- 49:44I think they pick Bain so that the.
- 49:47Saints pick downs. I just feel like Downs is going
- 49:52to Washington. I feel like he is too.
- 49:54If he's there at 7:00, I think he goes there.
- 49:56Yeah, I agree. Or the Giants move back up to
- 49:58get him. And this is where I think Reuben
- 50:01Bain would go to the Saints at 8:00.
- 50:03Yeah. Yeah, the draft boards.
- 50:08Holy heck. What?
- 50:10How? What did you call them?
- 50:11Cinnamon. Cinnamon.
- 50:13That's. What I said, we're saying the
- 50:17same words, guys. That's what he said.
- 50:19That's. What he said, that's what he
- 50:20said. Cinnamon.
- 50:21That's what we're all saying. Do you think that they do you
- 50:24think they pick? That's like, that's like when
- 50:27Americans say aluminum and everywhere else in the world
- 50:30they say aluminium. Aluminium.
- 50:33Apparently it's a. Apparently it's another word I
- 50:37got. I I told my boss he's British
- 50:39and I'm like, you're going to say aluminium?
- 50:40He's like, it's a different word.
- 50:42And like it's a different word. You mean it's a different
- 50:44spelling of the same word? He's like, yeah, which is so
- 50:48dumb. Aluminium, add an extra, add an
- 50:53extra letter in there. I'm going to get worked up.
- 50:56Let's keep going. Anyways, I feel like so do you.
- 51:00Think they're going wide receiver?
- 51:01Tate. I think they're going to end up
- 51:03picking Tate. I was going to say, I feel like
- 51:06they might go corner. Really.
- 51:09Because they just started away. Yeah, I like how we both started
- 51:12to talk and then stop talking and then they either of us said
- 51:15his name. Trey Mcduffie's name crushed it
- 51:18one. You did get one.
- 51:19You got that one right. He's on my team now.
- 51:22If you didn't get that one right, I would be very worried.
- 51:25I I actually agree with you since since they Trey way
- 51:28Mcduffie and that secondary probably needs help.
- 51:31You know who doesn't? I don't hate a man sort of
- 51:34delaying pick there. I also feel like Jermont McCoy.
- 51:38I feel like Jermont McCoy might be in play.
- 51:41Cheerful McCoy. I'm going to This is a mock
- 51:46death. We can do whatever we want, he.
- 51:48Cannot in good conscience say that oh, that means.
- 51:54What giants are picking dynamite?
- 51:57They. Don't they don't have the balls?
- 52:01They're picking Tate. I think they would go receiver.
- 52:05Because it clearly takes 25 months to recover from a knee
- 52:09injury and so who knows when Malik neighbors will be back.
- 52:13So it's like couldn't let it slip.
- 52:18Going to like 1 episode by so yeah, I'm I'm going Tate.
- 52:23Tate OK. Well.
- 52:24Sadly, I think this is where Delane comes off the board.
- 52:26I know why go, why go? Why go do I take?
- 52:30Delane. I think the Dolphins would take
- 52:33D'alene if he's there at 11. I.
- 52:34Am less concerned about corner help now than I was say a month
- 52:40and a half ago. Nothing.
- 52:41I don't want a bright young corner on my team, I just am
- 52:43less worried about it. Yeah, that's fair.
- 52:46Also, I want the Dolphins to take the lane if this situation
- 52:49plays out because I don't want Dallas to have them so.
- 52:52True. I'm going to go to lane here
- 52:54because I think. That's what they would do,
- 52:55Dallas trading up to take 12 and 20 to go from 12:00 to 11:00 to
- 53:01pick Dulane. I think they would try and trade
- 53:02up like earlier in the draft though.
- 53:05Yeah, that's fair. If the Giants don't get in their
- 53:07way, I'm going to take Dulane here.
- 53:09Would the Cowboys go Finaman? He's the best available
- 53:12defensive guy. I yeah, probably.
- 53:16The other option would be probably CJ Allen, maybe Akim
- 53:20Mezador, Keldrick Faulk I've heard talked about with them.
- 53:24So I. Don't know, don't hate Faulk
- 53:26there, but it feels like a bit of a stretch.
- 53:29It does. Especially with, you know when
- 53:31they got picked 20 sitting back there.
- 53:32I think they would go see them and.
- 53:34I agree I don't have to like it, but I think that would be, given
- 53:37the scenario, what they would do I'm.
- 53:39Going to do it I will. What are the Rams doing?
- 53:43Drafting another tight end, right?
- 53:45Might as well. I'm just kidding, I.
- 53:49I could honestly see the Rams taking Canyon Sadiq.
- 53:52They are. They would take McKay lemon in
- 53:54this scenario. They would take McKay lemon, no
- 53:56doubt. I would rather they.
- 53:57Literally just drafted. Didn't they just draft Sadiq's
- 54:00the tight end above him on the depth chart from the previous
- 54:03year? Yep, Yep, Fergus.
- 54:06I did. Yes they do.
- 54:07Rather than take Wenger, you wanna dude, every time.
- 54:11I'm so good at that guy. You wanna?
- 54:13You wanna? That's not yo, that's not what
- 54:16they mean. Nay, yo my nuts.
- 54:19I Elaine. Oh my gosh.
- 54:24The Ravens don't get a pick, right?
- 54:26That's what we decided. Yeah, yeah, they're gonna skip.
- 54:30I think this would be Wenger. You wanna?
- 54:32That makes me upset. Or.
- 54:33Yeah, Genius AD. Because I don't have likely
- 54:36anymore actually dangerous. He's.
- 54:39I don't hate the Sadiq pick there because he would be.
- 54:43Don't he? Would be likely.
- 54:45You just want him at 15, Avery. Don't.
- 54:49Well, don't stop. I think I.
- 54:55Think it's the right move though.
- 54:57It's between Joanna and Sadiq. I feel like you.
- 55:01Guys take them. You guys take?
- 55:03I feel like new head coaches, we don't want a splash name to come
- 55:06in and you want it is not it, Unfortunately, it should be, but
- 55:10it's not. And so I think they go Sadiq.
- 55:13OK, sorry, Avery, get that? All right, Avery, if this was a
- 55:20scenario, what do you think the Bucks are doing?
- 55:23I get Mesador. I mean, they could trade back.
- 55:26They should, they won't. I could honestly see them taking
- 55:28Iwani, but I I actually think that I actually think there is a
- 55:32strong, strong possibility that the Bucks are trading back.
- 55:36I don't know why, I just feel like they are.
- 55:38Yeah, I just hope they don't take one of those Utah boys.
- 55:41Same dude. Iwani or Mesador or trade back?
- 55:45I'm going to go Mesador. That was tough.
- 55:48I didn't like that the last part.
- 55:51Everything else was fine. All right, well, I'm excited to
- 55:54see what happens with the NFL Draft this week and next week
- 55:57we're going to be discussing our NFL Draft winners and losers.
- 56:01And before we get out of here, I actually just want to say one
- 56:03thing and we'll kind of mentioned it earlier, but I just
- 56:05want to say that I think we all deserve a round of applause for
- 56:08what we did with our scattering reports this year and our player
- 56:10rankings because it was significantly better than it was
- 56:14last year. This was our second season
- 56:16talking about the NFL draft, and this year was so much better
- 56:19than last year. We talked about over 50 players
- 56:21in full detail. And to me, that's impressive for
- 56:24a podcast that does one show a week and has four listeners.
- 56:28And so thank you guys for being here with me, too.
- 56:31Bye. Bye listeners.
- 56:35Alex, is she listening now? Yeah.
- 56:38And next year, next year we're we're bringing the actual
- 56:42prospects on the show to talk about their strengths and
- 56:46weaknesses and any bit of drama that we've dug up about them.
- 56:51Past girlfriends leaked news. But we're going to wait, but
- 56:55we're going to wait until the week before the draft to bring
- 56:57out the drama. Though there's no other way to.
- 57:01We're going to bring out rival position players and make shit
- 57:06up and sorry dad and have them beef it out on live.
- 57:11We're going to have it. Live to.
- 57:13What Every prospect. Of the draft, It'll basically be
