  Evening. What's happening?

  It's it's been a long week, battling a cold, trying to do as

  many different kind of shows. So what we're getting through

  them slowly but surely just this and one more to do and we are

  back to normal. As I said, we are going to be

  looking at a show that took place a couple of weeks ago now,

  that being at the Hunger 34 in Liverpool for starting off with
• 1:41
  TNT Ignition Rumble, the the family friendly show.

  Shall we call it out of the two? So we will crack on because we

  have a lot to talk about, as well as giving a little plug to

  Infinite at the end of the show. So let's get cracking with

  Ignition. The opening contest saw for the
• 2:18
  TNT Ignition title, Ritchie defending against Luke Jacobs,
• 2:26
  but Critchie was joined down at ringside by Mr Mickey Barnes.

  I know you was looking forward to this match beforehand.

  What was your what was your take on the opening match?
• 2:48
  It delivered what I expected to be fair.

  I was looking forward to this match before the show.

  I was surprised it was the opening match to be fair but did
• 2:58
  its job. Great match between two of the

  best at the minute. Critchie coming into his own as
• 3:05
  a singles wrestler now going up against you'd say one of the
• 3:09
  best singles wrestlers in the world and Luke Jacobs.

  Mickey Barnes on the outside distract, not distracting Jacobs
• 3:19
  but like slightly off putting Jacobs.

  He was there more as an an enforcer if anything.
• 3:28
  Yeah, this match cheese bodyguard.

  I have to say I didn't see a whole lot of this match, mainly
• 3:38
  because I was chatting to a couple of people that I hadn't
• 3:41
  seen for a while, so I only caught the back end of the
• 3:47
  contest. So what I saw of this match was

  Jacob's hitting kind of move upon move, hitting like a
• 4:01
  lariat, a powerbomb, practically throwing everything he had at
• 4:09
  Cricci. And then I think Cricci did a
• 4:15
  backslide to. Was it a backslide to get the
• 4:18
  win? Yeah, you stole the the pinfall.
• 4:21
  Yeah. Yeah.

  It was a cheeky roll up, like backslide roll up.

  Jacob couldn't get off his back. Because there was a few of us
• 4:30
  kind of like up in the in the VIP bit that was watching this.

  And there was a couple of kind of just even a few friends that
• 4:39
  were down below. And we kind of all looked at
• 4:42
  each one. We just thought we didn't agree
• 4:48
  with kind of like the the ending just because Jake's had hit all
• 4:55
  these big power moves and then it didn't feel like the the
• 5:04
  strongest win. I mean, if it had been a like a
• 5:11
  very, very quick roll up and there was like pants being held,
• 5:17
  I'd have been OK, But I I kind of felt the the ending of this
• 5:21
  just let it down a tiny bit myself.

  But it's nothing, nothing against Pritchard Jacobs and I
• 5:34
  just think it slightly missed at the end personally.

  But I know I've heard kind of a lot of people say it was a
• 5:44
  really good match. So, and as I kind of missed most
• 5:48
  of it, I'll probably take their their side of it over what I
• 5:56
  saw. There we go.

  We, you can't please everyone. And at times I am a very

  difficult person to please. And I say that with a straight
• 6:08
  face and wearing a shark onesie match #2 Holly Barlow versus Sky

  Smitson with Lana Austin in Holly's corner.

  Or to give it the offer match name Sexy Sky versus sexy Holly

  I've. Completely forgot about that,

  yet that was a thing that was happening.

  Yeah, I well, it was one of those that Smithson is always
• 6:52
  kind of always gets a chance sexy Sky.

  And it felt very much kind of like tongue in cheek everyone

  kind of singing sexy Holly, which I think pretty much most
• 7:06
  people took is just going along with it.
• 7:10
  I don't think those are many people thought it was anything
• 7:14
  kind of dodgy or over the top. I know Holly has posted and kind
• 7:22
  of like laughed about it, but I can understand why some may have
• 7:29
  not particularly liked that version of things.

  But you know, it's chants are there as they say.

  This was actually one of my favourite matches on the first
• 7:47
  show because there was a lot going on.

  Sky, who is really fun to watch. Holly is just it has been said
• 8:01
  many places now as scrappy do energy and the more the more
• 8:10
  I've kind of like heard that and even said it myself.

  It does very much come across very it does tie in very well
• 8:21
  with Holly though. She does give off very much kind
• 8:25
  of like Scratchy do vibes of she doesn't know at times how kind
• 8:32
  of like small she is, but she has like the biggest heart.

  But Holly is the the rule breaker out of the two though.

  I'll ask you this. Would you class it as a full on
• 8:51
  rule breaker or more of an inbetweener?

  No straight up cheat. From what I've seen in that

  match, it was straight up cheating.
• 9:04
  Because as it was going on, I'm thinking he's not really being
• 9:10
  full on kind of like rule breaking.

  It was very much like Lana was doing a lot of it but at the
• 9:19
  same time Holly was getting more offensive on on the Sky.

  Sky just struggled to get much offence in for most of the match
• 9:31
  and then at one point Holly went to the outside claiming she
• 9:35
  injured her knee which allowed Lana Austin to get in the ring
• 9:41
  head butt. Sky Smithson then had to dash
• 9:45
  round the ring to tell Holly to get back in the ring because she
• 9:50
  had the advantage back. Derek Cannon went back and
• 9:56
  forth, ended up with Holly hitting a Barlow stunner if
• 10:02
  memory serves, picking up the victory and only Holly could do
• 10:14
  get away with doing the old like Rick Rude hip swaying moves
• 10:21
  because of the chance that she had.
• 10:24
  If there was anyone else it probably would not be.

  I'm trying to think of the best term to use now.

  She was laughing a lot with it and I think played off on it
• 10:44
  very, very well, which I think we Lana and Holly, they are even
• 10:51
  all three in this in this match. All three can play off things
• 10:55
  extremely well. So the but was that there was
• 11:04
  I'd say about a good 7030 with the Sky.

  I'd say there was a fair few cheering for Holly, one being me
• 11:17
  because, you know, obviously being from her neck of the woods
• 11:25
  and I tried to think who else is cheering up in the the box.

  Was an interesting match getting to see Holly Bean like coming

  into the role of Heal Holly now in TNT whereas like previous

  matches like she's not been fully into the role but now that
• 11:53
  she's getting more involved in the matches and getting to show
• 11:57
  off her heal side is quite interesting to see.

  Sky being Sky just you cannot hate Sky Smithson, the absolute
• 12:06
  badass in the ring. Superb.

  The one thing I'll say about Holly as the kind of like rule
• 12:17
  breaker, I'd seen her for the first time playing that role at
• 12:22
  North. That was it last year, because I
• 12:27
  think she took on Natalie Sykes. And whether it was just one of
• 12:34
  the few times Holly had kind of like playing that role, it still
• 12:38
  felt like she wanted to be like the fans favourite, but trying
• 12:44
  to be a bit healish. But she it was one of those
• 12:49
  things no one wanted to Boo her just because it's it's Holly.
• 12:55
  But I think TNT, she's slowly kind of like drip, drip been
• 13:01
  drip feeding, if you like, kind of turning that way.

  And I think that has been much better than just going telling
• 13:11
  her you're full on kind of like heelish here.
• 13:17
  But I have enjoyed kind of like the the rule breaking work she
• 13:22
  has done. Still kind of find it difficult
• 13:26
  to to Boo Holly. But again, when you have a
• 13:29
  Mancunian going to Liverpool, I will try and J for him within
• 13:36
  within reason. Match #3 was the one.

  Sorry, I'll say that again. Bullet taking on Joe Rage, what

  was your take on this? So this was the first time like
• 13:58
  actually getting to see Joe rage in the ring.

  I seen him at the last show attack Bullet.

  He'd come off cross as a dangerous threat to Bullet.

  Bullet had to get the crowd on his side.

  That chant, the Bullet chant, was fantastic.

  That is like one of the loudest chants I have ever heard at a

  wrestling job. And that's not even a joke.

  It lasted for a solid like 5 minutes.

  I, I was recording on that and, and I do have to admit I did get
• 14:30
  the words when you hear me chanting along because you, the
• 14:37
  ones I kind of like stand with up at the top are all kind of
• 14:42
  like massive bullet fans. So we're all collecting the
• 14:46
  bullet fans now. I've been added to the group and
• 14:54
  to have like the Bullet, the Bullet Club group as it is, I'll
• 15:02
  be honest, I don't think I have sung so much for such a long
• 15:07
  time since I think when I last went to a football game, it just
• 15:13
  seemed to go on and on and on and never seemed to stop.

  It felt like it went on the almost the entire match.

  Yeah, it carried on in and out of the match like constantly,
• 15:24
  which I felt like it added towards the match.

  It made much better. This is, and I remember going to
• 15:35
  Rev Pro a few years ago when it was, I think it was Alec, Alex
• 15:41
  Windsor, Hyann and Mickie James. And Mickie James came out to
• 15:49
  hardcore country and a group of fans literally just kept
• 15:55
  chanting hardcore country brew out the entire match, kind of
• 16:01
  crapping on it it. I mean, sometimes you can chant
• 16:07
  all the way through and it comes across like being a bit dickish.
• 16:15
  This came across more kind of as you say.
• 16:19
  I think it helped because what we had seen from Joe rage on the
• 16:25
  previous show, because he really he was an unknown entity coming
• 16:31
  into this. No one fully knew who he was and
• 16:35
  the way he attacked Bullet. It one of the few times I've
• 16:40
  ever seen Bullet in that position where he's faced
• 16:45
  someone or someone has beat him up and he's looked in like
• 16:50
  serious peril. The match itself though, almost
• 16:56
  felt like Bullet fed off the crowd and the chants because you
• 17:02
  could see he was genuinely kind of like smirking certain times
• 17:07
  during the chance, thinking they're really, they're going to
• 17:10
  keep this chant going, aren't they?
• 17:12
  And they kind of worked through it and it really did work well.

  The launch itself, I, I could be completely wrong here, but it
• 17:23
  felt very much like Bullock got the majority, if not most of the
• 17:29
  offence in. But when rage did get summoned
• 17:35
  it was still meaningful. So it wasn't a like a squash
• 17:42
  match, but it kind of loosely felt that way.

  But I think they did well to kind of avoid going that way.
• 17:55
  But again, as we will see later down the line, this feud is not
• 18:01
  over, not by a long shot. Still, we then came.

  I'm trying to think, was that the that was the interval,

  wasn't it? That was the interval, yeah.

  The interval and then we came back with Dental Mac against Ian

  Skinner. Dental Mac, who has really
• 18:25
  impressed in the times he's been up in TNT because if he he faced

  Tommy Tanner in his debut match and then he was in that, I think
• 18:41
  it was the four way match. With Mickey Barnes and Lean
• 18:44
  Carr, Yeah, and Ian. So this is almost like a bit of
• 18:50
  a carry on from from that match, if you like.

  So I'm and I've seen Mac a couple of weeks ago at Tidal

  taking on Jack Marshall, which was a really fun little contest.

  Ian, God bless Ian. Everyone loves Skinner.

  OK, I'll rephrase that. Oh, a Fairfield like Skinner.

  There are some people that don't, but just I know Nikki, if

  she's listening to this, will be the the leader, if you like, of

  the Ian Skinner party. Oh, what was your take on this

  before I I get into what I thought?

  I really enjoyed this match. I think Denzel and Ian are like
• 19:52
  very similar in styles, but like slightly different.

  They have a very similar move set and like I feel like in the
• 20:01
  ring like they're pretty much like same height like this.

  So it's like it's a good match between both guys because like
• 20:16
  it's just like for liking pretty much.

  You're watching the carbon copy of Ian Skinner.

  Because it was Denzel is more kind of like built out of the
• 20:28
  two and is more kind of like power moves and has a bit of a
• 20:36
  high flying kind of move set. Skinner is very kind of like
• 20:44
  technical and striking loves like strikes and uses that to
• 20:51
  his advantage. But also playing the I say
• 20:56
  playing being the the phrase I'll like is what Mick Foley
• 21:06
  once said about him and Candito, where you don't have many people
• 21:11
  that are willing to kind of play the the coward in certain in
• 21:17
  certain times. So whereas they are dangerous,
• 21:22
  they they are not afraid to kind of power and be like foolish in
• 21:29
  how they go about things. And I think that is one of the
• 21:33
  redeeming features of like a Skinner match is that he will
• 21:38
  be, he'll he's very much like a mosquito in the sense that he
• 21:44
  will continue to kind of like just Peck your head and get into
• 21:48
  your head a bit. And then he'll just like hit you
• 21:53
  with certain moves and just loads of strikes and is equally
• 22:00
  dangerous in a different way to Mac.

  It does have to be said Skinner got a cut during this match.

  I don't know how on earth that came about.

  Yeah, me neither. I genuinely thought he was hurt.

  Yeah, because I have asked a couple of people, he says.

  People of like how or if anyone saw how the cup happened.

  Mystery is one term I got. So whether that was intentional

  to the match, I don't know. But I personally, I don't think

  it was. I think it could have been like

  But it was a it was a brave performance by a bleeding

  Skinner Dental Mac wins anyhow, with I'm trying to remember what

  I I one thing about this match was having a friend that had

  been drinking a bit and was was not a fan of Mr Skinner, which

  some of the stuff he came out with, they weren't libellous but

  This, this was a whole lot of fun, as Rumbles do tend to be.

  should. So the first four in this

  contest was well before we found out who was #1 Nikki and me were

  texting back and forth because she was watching the stream.

  We were, we were actually both concerned about Skinner at this

  point because of what we'd seen. And we said, oh, I hope he's OK.

  And then literally 2 seconds later we get Skinner's music on.

  My reply straight back to Nikki was I think he's OK.

  So Skinner comes out with his head freshly bandaged with Oscar

  and Big John. The physio comes to the ring,

  puts a promo which no one up at the top heard because of all the

  booing and whatever was being said.

  But yes, Miles looking like Terry Butcher, not enough blood.

  effectively, I think I've seen the video now and he says I'm

  to chop MVK. And he kind of just stood there

  I think we had a stare down with Bullet and MVK.

  Skinner comes up to Bullet and Bullet practically just pushes

  him away, which is quite comedic in how it all went down.

  Then we had #4 in Liam McCarthy and this was effectively 3 big

  balls in the ring. To be perfectly honest, I think

  Skinner at this point may have snuck out of the ring

  momentarily because he did get back in.

  Tried to push McCarthy into MVK and Bullets and probably pushed

  it as far as I could push my dad's car with a handbrake off.

  Did not get very far at all. Ended up docking A clothesline

  and then getting his head nearly clean.

  Took off, then we kind of got into the the rumble more.

  So I will say if you want to jump in, just let us know Miles,

  So we had Will Davis Cannonball at 5, Mickey Barnes at six, who

  I think we had his wife and kid up in the VIP with us.

  And when Mickey came out, the entire group of ours all cheered

  for Mickey for the rest of the rumble that he was in, which

  which was nice. And it was nice to see like his

  family like really gushing. Mickey coming out as well and

  cheering was kind of one of the the feel good wholesome moments
• 29:31
  of this match #7 unsurprisingly. And I would love to know how

  many times it happens. Trent 7 comes out to 7 nation

  army, a few people using the non PG version of his chant and the
• 29:56
  amount of people shouting PGPG and very quickly using the
• 30:02
  family version. We then had Lewis Johnson come

  out at #8 in which we had Joe Rage coming back out and
• 30:17
  eliminating a bullet and then saw them to pretty much just
• 30:24
  teeing off on the outside. So as I say, that feud looks

  like it is going to continue. Number 9 was Callum Crowe, who I
• 30:40
  have been impressed with every time I've I've kind of seen him
• 30:43
  on TNT or the the pre shows and #10 was Lucian, 11 was Vusic, 12

  was Ted Sabin, who I, I want to say I have seen him elsewhere,

  but I, I am. Not TNT in the in the in the

  Bradford show. I could.

  I could seriously confusing him with someone else.

  We then had 13 in Decker which we had a few people shouting

  Crow, Lucian, Sabin and Decker are part of Claw or train there.

  That is adding more evidence to I have seen him.

  I'm pretty sure I saw him in the 6th man tag, but age match does

  So we then had kind of Team Claw almost just arms aloft with each

  other, celebrating everyone down #14 was Tom McCall, who?

  I made the point yesterday on the Future Shock show.

  The more I see McCall wrestle in a singles role, the more

  impressive he gets, because I'll laugh it, because I think you've

  seen McCall more doing singles action than I have I.

  Think yeah, I've seen him quite a few times in singles matches.

  How old? Have you?

  I even got seen against Critchie so I got to compare him both as
• 33:09
  singles. What's your take on him as a

  singles? He's getting better.

  At first he was like, you'd think you can just look at him

  and say Oh yeah, tag guy, but he's getting better and better
• 33:28
  with every match he's putting on as a singles.

  Because I I made this point yesterday that a lot of people

  just see Tom as A tag wrestler, which I think's a bit unfair

  because you also have Critchie who is his tag team partner and
• 33:51
  has obviously is the Ignition champion and has done a few kind
• 33:56
  of singles matches himself over over time.

  McColl for me, the more I see him in like singles matches, the
• 34:08
  more he impresses. His run a couple of weeks ago at
• 34:15
  Lotto Thunder. Honestly if you if you haven't,

  oh you can't because it's not out yet.

  But when they put out Lotto Thunder his matches he has with
• 34:28
  Josh Easy and Pele honestly are two really good matches to
• 34:37
  watch. Especially his his match against
• 34:42
  Pele. Both are very different.

  Hum was more kind of the experience hand in the first
• 34:50
  match against Pele. It the way they kind of like put
• 34:56
  that match together and everything.

  It was seamless and easily one of the more enjoyable matches

  I've seen for for I'd say quite a while.

  Really is worth your time watching them because the clip
• 35:15
  they have posted of him in Pele with being thrown out the door

  and then running back in the ring and getting hit is.

  I'll say it again, as I said the other day, it is one of the best

  sequences to an end of a match I have seen anywhere.

  How seamless it all went. It was chef's kiss.

  However, back to the Rumble and McCall, who has one of the,

  again, I said it yesterday, has one of the best lariats and one
• 35:56
  of the more believable lariats in wrestling, I think because he

  gets so much bloody power in it when he when he hits him.

  Like, you seriously think he could decapitate someone?

  Then we move to #15 Denzel Mack 16.

  Aye aye, Tommy Tanner, who very quickly became the favourite up

  in the box of who was going to win because we had a bit of a

  sweepstake. Some people kind of didn't have
• 36:37
  a horse in the race, so to speak, so everyone shifted to
• 36:40
  Tana. 17 was the new Shiki baby in Sheikh El Sham. 18 was Jimmy
• 36:52
  Jackson. 19 was Pele, who I actually thought was going to
• 36:58
  win this, believe it or not. And the last but by no means
• 37:05
  least #20 and who I had in the sweepstake naje and I was told
• 37:16
  numerous times by people don't celebrate having #20 because
• 37:22
  number 20s never win. And that pretty much turned out
• 37:29
  to to be the actual truth. I'm trying to think of the the
• 37:37
  back end of who we had. Final 3 was.

  I remember final three, yeah. Vusic Trent and Tommy Tanner.

  Before we kind of got down to the nitty gritty, we had a
• 37:56
  couple things that were really good.

  Trent 7 deciding to just snap the fingers of every single
• 38:04
  person that was either in the ring or doing photography at
• 38:11
  ringside and also did Mad Dog Angus having threatened to do it
• 38:19

  It was a solid match, but it's just the way the match pans out,

  it. I thought it was a bit weak.
