- 1:16Sean McAllister: Luke Bryan just debuted at Resorts World, and man, he was on fire.
- 1:22SPEAKER_01: You know, I'd like to take um, I'd like to take some personal credit and uh, you know, just get rid of the mask mandate.
- 1:29SPEAKER_01: I really appreciate that.
- 1:31Sean McAllister: Luke also just added new dates, and why he's been in a social media back and forth with Nevada's governor.
- 1:38Sean McAllister: That's coming up.
- 1:39Dayna Roselli: The LA Comedy Club moves into a bigger room at the Strat.
- 1:43Dayna Roselli: The Red Carpet opening night had everyone talking about ditching the mask indoors.
- 1:48SPEAKER_04: It makes it feel like it did before.
- 1:50SPEAKER_04: It's gonna be nice to kind of see those mask jokes go away, I'll be honest.
- 1:53Dayna Roselli: And we have more interviews from the red carpet.
- 1:55Sean McAllister: Plus, tons of news shows just announced.
- 1:58Sean McAllister: We have a rundown.
- 1:59Sean McAllister: One will take you to Margaritaville, another will have you laughing for days.
- 2:04Dayna Roselli: Alright, let's spin that wheel right now.
- 2:16Dayna Roselli: Welcome to Vegas Revealed episode 106.
- 2:20Dayna Roselli: It is Dana Roselli along with Sean McAllister.
- 2:23Dayna Roselli: Uh having a nice week in Vegas, a little cooler than it has been lately.
- 2:27Dayna Roselli: But Sean, last weekend I was at the pool.
- 2:29Dayna Roselli: Did you see me?
- 2:30Sean McAllister: I did.
- 2:31Sean McAllister: You were laying out, you had some friends out there at the pool too.
- 2:35Dayna Roselli: I was saying there was more people at the pool last weekend, it when it was in the 70s, than there are in the summer.
- 2:42Dayna Roselli: Because I think it was more comfortable.
- 2:44Sean McAllister: I mean, this is listen, this is the trade-off you get living in Las Vegas.
- 2:50Sean McAllister: In the summer, you get three months when it's really ridiculously hot, but the rest of the year and during the winter, it's extremely mild and absolutely beautiful.
- 3:02Sean McAllister: And you can sit at the pool sometimes in February, and it's 75 degrees outside.
- 3:08Sean McAllister: It's beautiful.
- 3:09Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 3:09Dayna Roselli: It's so true.
- 3:10Dayna Roselli: We've got a bit of a cool cooldown, but you know, that's also nice because you get some more sweater wear in and all that kind of thing, and then we'll we'll bounce back quick.
- 3:17Sean McAllister: We will.
- 3:18Sean McAllister: We will.
- 3:18Sean McAllister: By by March, we're gonna be roaring like lions and ready to rock those swimsuits.
- 3:24Sean McAllister: Well, I don't know if we'll be ready to rock the swimsuits, but we'll be breathing fire.
- 3:28Sean McAllister: Yeah, exactly.
- 3:29unknown: Exactly.
- 3:30Dayna Roselli: Um, listen, want to talk quickly about the Super Bowl halftime show.
- 3:33Dayna Roselli: I mean, you know, obviously it's been a bunch of days since then.
- 3:37Dayna Roselli: Most people have, you know, hashed it out and discussed it, but um uh the little bit of vaguest that we feel we can bring to the conversation is you and I chatting about how that would be like the best residency show ever.
- 3:51Sean McAllister: I mean, if it was a Kings of Hip Hop residency show and they each had their own set within the 90 minutes, uh that would be the best gig in the world for that group.
- 4:03Dayna Roselli: It really would.
- 4:04Dayna Roselli: And if anyone doesn't know what we're talking about, it was Dr.
- 4:07Dayna Roselli: Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J, 50 Cent with a surprise appearance, coming in upside down, by the way, Eminem, and Kendrick Lamar.
- 4:18Dayna Roselli: So people were flipping out over this, especially if you grew up in the you were a teenager in the 90s, right?
- 4:24Sean McAllister: Oh, it was incredible.
- 4:25Sean McAllister: I was wishing that there was more Eminem.
- 4:29Dayna Roselli: Me too.
- 4:29Sean McAllister: And I was I was thinking at the end when all of them were up on top of the, you know, that house or whatever they had.
- 4:36Sean McAllister: Um, I was thinking they were gonna all do a big like medley together.
- 4:42Sean McAllister: Right.
- 4:42Sean McAllister: And I wanted the show to keep on going.
- 4:44Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 4:45Dayna Roselli: Everyone kept going, give me more halftime show.
- 4:47Dayna Roselli: You know?
- 4:48Dayna Roselli: I mean, I know everyone has their thoughts.
- 4:49Dayna Roselli: Some people always love it, some people say it's the best ever.
- 4:52Dayna Roselli: Then everyone fights back and forth.
- 4:53Dayna Roselli: No, this was the best ever.
- 4:55Dayna Roselli: It was a great halftime show, I think.
- 4:57Dayna Roselli: We we both agree.
- 4:58Dayna Roselli: It was a lot of fun.
- 5:00Dayna Roselli: But the one place that we were just discussing, like, where would this residency show go?
- 5:04Dayna Roselli: We were like the sphere that's being built, that big, huge globe near the Venetian, because we've always wondered, like, what are they gonna exactly use that for?
- 5:12Dayna Roselli: Something different.
- 5:12Dayna Roselli: But can you imagine that would be a sellout non-stop?
- 5:17Sean McAllister: Absolutely.
- 5:17Sean McAllister: And listen, if you haven't been to Las Vegas over the past couple years because of travel restrictions, you just feel safer at home, whatever.
- 5:26Sean McAllister: There's this big uh multi-use arena that's being built behind the Venetian, and it almost looks like uh the the big ball at Epcot Center.
- 5:38Dayna Roselli: You know, that big yes, I love that.
- 5:40Sean McAllister: That it looks like a big golf ball.
- 5:41Dayna Roselli: It does, yeah.
- 5:42Sean McAllister: Well this is very similar, except the whole outside is gonna be an LED screen and will be have the capabilities to turn into pretty much whatever it wants to.
- 5:52Sean McAllister: But inside it's going to be used for uh conferences, conventions, concerts, sporting events.
- 6:00Sean McAllister: And it looks like it's well, they talk about it being uh like super state-of-the-art.
- 6:05Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean it's going to be, right?
- 6:07Dayna Roselli: It's it's MSG putting it on.
- 6:09Dayna Roselli: And like if anyone wants to see an update on the construction, I posted something about a month ago when I was at the top of the Eiffel Tower of Paris.
- 6:16Dayna Roselli: I got a really good video of it.
- 6:17Dayna Roselli: It's on my social media.
- 6:18Dayna Roselli: I'll put it on the Vegas Revealed social media too, but it's really coming along, and I think it's supposed to open like mid-2023.
- 6:26Sean McAllister: So it's I'm looking forward to it.
- 6:27Dayna Roselli: Me too.
- 6:28Dayna Roselli: So anyway, we'll see if that happens, right?
- 6:31Dayna Roselli: Maybe that's our that's our two cents.
- 6:32Dayna Roselli: The Kings of Hip Hop at the sphere.
- 6:34Sean McAllister: Just throwing it out there on the Vegas vision board.
- 6:37Dayna Roselli: All right, let's talk Luke Bryan.
- 6:40Dayna Roselli: He had a fantastic opening night that you and I were lucky enough to be a part of at Resorts World.
- 6:46Dayna Roselli: Did we have a fun night or what?
- 6:48Sean McAllister: That was a blast, and I feel like it was the first time we saw a bunch of our, you know, friends, colleagues in the Vegas entertainment sphere in a really long time.
- 7:01Sean McAllister: It was the first time we were all kind of together in a room.
- 7:04Dayna Roselli: Without masks on.
- 7:05Sean McAllister: Without masks on.
- 7:06Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 7:07Sean McAllister: And every that's what everyone was saying.
- 7:09Sean McAllister: They're like, oh my gosh, I forgot what your face actually looked like.
- 7:12Sean McAllister: It's been so long.
- 7:14Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 7:14Dayna Roselli: That was a lot of fun.
- 7:15Dayna Roselli: We had a great little, oh, it was just a kind of reception thing that we were able to be a part of.
- 7:20Dayna Roselli: Then we went down to the VIP room and we met Luke Bryan.
- 7:24Dayna Roselli: We got to stand in front of him.
- 7:25Dayna Roselli: He talked to the very small group of us about his excitement because he hadn't actually done the show in front of an audience yet.
- 7:33Sean McAllister: Right.
- 7:33Dayna Roselli: So we got to see, and he's was nervous.
- 7:35Dayna Roselli: He was like, and he was drinking his one margarita, two margarita.
- 7:39Dayna Roselli: And yeah, he played a couple songs for us.
- 7:41Dayna Roselli: That was so much fun.
- 7:42Sean McAllister: It really was.
- 7:43Sean McAllister: And I think even he was having so much fun the margarita got knocked over.
- 7:48Sean McAllister: He did at one point.
- 7:49Dayna Roselli: I think we have that on video, but um, so we're gonna play some clips from the show as far as you know what Luke said to the audience and all that kind of thing.
- 7:57Dayna Roselli: But um, let's just talk about some of the moments that to us stuck out as different for a Vegas show.
- 8:04Dayna Roselli: I know the bridge that went up at the end was something that both you and I had never seen, and he had this bridge that lifted up and went up to the balcony, which was great because everyone up there sat back in the balcony, didn't think they were gonna get that close to Luke.
- 8:19Dayna Roselli: And then that moment was great.
- 8:21Sean McAllister: I mean, it really is.
- 8:22Sean McAllister: It's this entire uh steel bridge mechanism that that lowers down from the ceiling inside the theater, and it's got this bridge, this ramp that goes and connects to the stage.
- 8:35Sean McAllister: Luke runs up there and he's on this bridge, essentially uh enabling him to give a front row experience to all the fans who are up in the balcony.
- 8:47Sean McAllister: Just a super cool thing that I have never seen done in a residency show here in Las Vegas.
- 8:54Sean McAllister: I know people have uh talked about, oh, I've seen concerts where this entertainer or that entertainer have done something similar.
- 9:02Sean McAllister: Maybe, fair enough.
- 9:04Sean McAllister: I've seen similar things too, but never in a standalone residency show.
- 9:10Dayna Roselli: No, and I don't know about lifting that way.
- 9:12Dayna Roselli: Like I've seen, I think it was Aerosmith did that bridge in the middle, went down the center.
- 9:16Sean McAllister: Yeah, I think it was like an arm that stuck out from the stage.
- 9:20Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 9:20Dayna Roselli: I mean, you know, but this was, you know, it gave it so cool.
- 9:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it gave those folks the biggest thrill.
- 9:26Dayna Roselli: It was great, and he didn't just like pop up and pop down.
- 9:28Dayna Roselli: He was up there, he was chatting with the audience.
- 9:31Sean McAllister: He was booty shaking up.
- 9:32Dayna Roselli: He was.
- 9:33Dayna Roselli: Maybe, you know what?
- 9:34Dayna Roselli: Let's play a clip.
- 9:37SPEAKER_01: Hey, you know the world is crazy right now, but everybody can still shake their ass and dance.
- 9:46Dayna Roselli: He was so personable.
- 9:47Dayna Roselli: Sean, going in, I was not a Luke Bryan fan, and I mean like as in I didn't follow a lot of his music, right?
- 9:53Dayna Roselli: I left a fan.
- 9:55Dayna Roselli: And it was the bet.
- 9:57Dayna Roselli: I am like this guy is fun, he's got energy, his songs are catchy, uh, he put on a great show, and you know, he didn't even change his outfit once.
- 10:06Dayna Roselli: We didn't need to.
- 10:07Sean McAllister: No, he didn't.
- 10:08Dayna Roselli: He just was, you know, entertaining.
- 10:10Sean McAllister: He was, and you know, we've talked about this here on Vegas Revealed before.
- 10:14Sean McAllister: I think the mark of really a great Las Vegas residency is when you go in seeing an entertainer who you haven't necessarily followed or been a huge fan of, but when you come out of that show, you're like, oh my gosh, I want their music on my playlist now.
- 10:34Sean McAllister: I want to listen to them in the car, at the gym, out on a run, uh at parties.
- 10:40Sean McAllister: And that's what Luke did.
- 10:41Sean McAllister: And it is one big party.
- 10:43Dayna Roselli: That that and I want to go back to the show.
- 10:44Dayna Roselli: I'm like, that was great.
- 10:46Dayna Roselli: I mean, I couldn't take in all this the stage, like there was just so much going on and the shifting and the lights and the when he came out.
- 10:53Dayna Roselli: Um, we haven't posted some of the like opening and stuff like that on our social media yet.
- 10:59Dayna Roselli: Because we like to, you know, when someone debuts, I like to give people the chance to see it and not spoil everything, but we'll put some of that up.
- 11:06Dayna Roselli: But yeah, I mean, it just was fun.
- 11:08Dayna Roselli: I want to go back and see Luke Bryan.
- 11:10Dayna Roselli: And I'm and you know what?
- 11:11Dayna Roselli: We can because he added nine new dates.
- 11:14Sean McAllister: Fantastic.
- 11:14Sean McAllister: I love that.
- 11:16Dayna Roselli: Most of them are in June, one's in August, and then there's two in September.
- 11:20Dayna Roselli: So that's exciting.
- 11:22Dayna Roselli: I think they'll be on sale by the 21st of February.
- 11:25Dayna Roselli: And um, he was let's let's hear from Luke.
- 11:28Dayna Roselli: Now, you were shooting some videos, so we were able to capture some sound.
- 11:32Dayna Roselli: First of all, he really addressed the audience um in you know, being the first audience to be at his show.
- 11:40Dayna Roselli: Um, and then he really had some fun that it was also the first weekend that masks were off indoors in Las Vegas.
- 11:46Dayna Roselli: Let's listen.
- 11:47SPEAKER_01: Now, this is an amazing night, guys.
- 11:49SPEAKER_01: This is an amazing situation to to have a to have a place here in Las Vegas to call home and um to play every night and have fun.
- 11:59SPEAKER_01: This is opening night.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: And you guys were the first to buy tickets to my opening night.
- 12:16SPEAKER_01: You know, I'd like to take um I'd like to take some personal credit.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: Um and and uh you know just get rid of the mask mandate.
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: I really appreciate that.
- 12:32SPEAKER_01: I feel like the governor I feel like the governor has saw that we're all coming here, he's just like, oh, just just happens.
- 13:04Sean McAllister: I mean, that gives you uh just a a glimpse of the fun that Luke has on stage.
- 13:10Dayna Roselli: I learned a new word, shit.
- 13:12Dayna Roselli: What was that?
- 13:13Dayna Roselli: Is that a country?
- 13:14Sean McAllister: Like Well, I think it's like a Wamba Nation.
- 13:17Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I was like, oh, I need to use that.
- 13:21Sean McAllister: Well, and as you heard there, uh Luke was trying to take some credit for uh the mask mandate being lifted in the state of Nevada.
- 13:31Sean McAllister: Well, guess what?
- 13:32Sean McAllister: The governor of Nevada caught wind of that and sent a tweet out to Luke Bryan.
- 13:38Sean McAllister: He said, uh, don't mean to crash your party, Luke, but I can't give you credit here.
- 13:43Sean McAllister: The credit actually goes to Nevadans and visitors who got vaccinated and boosted to protect everyone from COVID.
- 13:51Sean McAllister: Well, once the governor spoke, Luke had to respond, and he said, Dang, please, Mr.
- 13:57Sean McAllister: Governor, I was I need a little credit.
- 13:59Sean McAllister: I was just playing around, honored to be playing music in your state.
- 14:02Sean McAllister: Come see the show anytime.
- 14:04Sean McAllister: And then the governor wrote back and said, Yeah, I'd love to come over there and see the show.
- 14:09Sean McAllister: But I love that uh Luke's already getting into some back and forth with Governor Sizzlac.
- 14:16Dayna Roselli: So funny.
- 14:17Dayna Roselli: Yeah, he's he's definitely a lot of fun.
- 14:19Dayna Roselli: I saw a totally different side than I thought that I knew of Luke Bryan.
- 14:24Dayna Roselli: I just, you know, occasionally see him judging TV shows.
- 14:27Dayna Roselli: What is he at?
- 14:28Dayna Roselli: The voice, right?
- 14:29Sean McAllister: American Idol.
- 14:30Dayna Roselli: Oh yeah, American Idol.
- 14:31Dayna Roselli: Whatever.
- 14:32Dayna Roselli: Anyway.
- 14:32Sean McAllister: I haven't watched either of those in years.
- 14:35Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 14:36Dayna Roselli: So basically, uh, we enjoyed it.
- 14:38Dayna Roselli: Um, and then also the theater was gorgeous.
- 14:41Dayna Roselli: You and I chatted last week and I said I hadn't been to the theater yet.
- 14:44Dayna Roselli: You had to seen Carrie Katie Perry, yeah.
- 14:47Dayna Roselli: And gorgeous theater.
- 14:49Dayna Roselli: I loved it.
- 14:50Dayna Roselli: I mean, anytime anything's new, it's beautiful, but I really, really thought this was a great space.
- 14:55Dayna Roselli: And I felt like all the seats were good, like you said.
- 14:58Sean McAllister: They they are.
- 14:59Sean McAllister: And uh what I also think is nice about it, you know how some theaters when you go in and out before and after the show, it can get super cramped and crowded.
- 15:11Sean McAllister: The theater is designed in a way where it's just such an open space that you don't feel like everybody's being funneled at at one time.
- 15:22Sean McAllister: True.
- 15:22Sean McAllister: And so I like that about the Resorts World Theater.
- 15:25Dayna Roselli: I don't remember too much walking in, but I remember that VIP party was really good.
- 15:30Dayna Roselli: Yeah, walking out I remember.
- 15:34Dayna Roselli: All right, well, let's a good party.
- 15:36Dayna Roselli: It was a good party, yeah.
- 15:38Dayna Roselli: All right, well, the uh Academy of Country Music Awards are coming to Las Vegas at Allegiance Stadium, right at the uh beginning of March.
- 15:47Dayna Roselli: But speaking of Luke, Resorts World Theater has been nominated for an ACM award.
- 15:54Dayna Roselli: So that's kind of cool.
- 15:55Dayna Roselli: It's called Casino of the Year-Theater is the category.
- 15:59Dayna Roselli: And it's presented to an outstanding theater or showroom within a casino, selected by a professional panel of judges.
- 16:06Dayna Roselli: So congratulations to Resorts World Theater.
- 16:09Dayna Roselli: They're part of the five nominees, so we'll have to see if they are the big winner on March 7th.
- 16:17Sean McAllister: And I have to believe that uh it has something to do with having Luke Bryan, who's been entertainer of the year many times, and Carrie Underwood, who is a multi-ACM winning artist.
- 16:34Sean McAllister: Uh, having both of those uh performers on stage at Resorts World, I've gotta believe that's gonna give them the edge.
- 16:42Dayna Roselli: Well, true, and then like it gets those people in the theater, you know, and to see it and stuff like that.
- 16:48Dayna Roselli: So yeah, excited for Resorts World.
- 16:50Dayna Roselli: Um, you know, I say it all the time, it's one of my favorite properties, and it the theater really blew me away.
- 16:55Sean McAllister: And by the way, Dana, uh, speaking of the ACM Awards, uh, Monday, March 7th, uh, you're going to be on the red carpet.
- 17:03Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 17:03Dayna Roselli: I'm scheduled to be on the carpet for the Vegas on show that you can see at visitlosvegas.com.
- 17:09Dayna Roselli: Sean and I are correspondents for that show.
- 17:11Dayna Roselli: We just wrapped up a couple shoots.
- 17:13Dayna Roselli: I did something at Brewery Row.
- 17:15Dayna Roselli: Sean did something at Top Golf and the Bellagio Fountains.
- 17:18Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 17:18Dayna Roselli: And then I'll be on the red carpet for the ACMs.
- 17:21Sean McAllister: And another red carpet that uh we were both just on, Dana, was at the LA Comedy Club.
- 17:28Sean McAllister: It was the grand opening of the dragon room over at the Strat Casino Hotel and Skypod.
- 17:35Sean McAllister: Um the dragon room for the LA Comedy Club is it moved locations.
- 17:40Sean McAllister: It used to be upstairs, and now they've built out a brand new comedy club down right off of the casino floor, and they've done a terrific job with it.
- 17:50Sean McAllister: It's a great room.
- 17:51Dayna Roselli: It is.
- 17:52Dayna Roselli: It's right next to McCall's restaurant, and it is gorgeous.
- 17:55Dayna Roselli: It's double the size that they had before.
- 17:57Dayna Roselli: So they've got a lot more space there.
- 17:59Dayna Roselli: There's a bar in there.
- 18:01Dayna Roselli: They were so excited to celebrate this space, and it happened to be the exact day that the governor announced that he was, you know, changing the indoor mask mandate and saying, you know, it's taking place right now.
- 18:14Dayna Roselli: It was literally that day.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: So it was great for them because that night the masks were off and they could really celebrate.
- 18:20Sean McAllister: Yeah, and they were ready to celebrate.
- 18:22Sean McAllister: And we caught up with the owner of the club and some of the comedians to hear their take on the news that had just come down a couple hours before.
- 18:31SPEAKER_03: I knew that tonight was the the grand opening, so I called the governor and I said, listen, it's most is lack, right?
- 18:37SPEAKER_03: What's his name?
- 18:39SPEAKER_04: Well, it's good because we feel like we've been putting smiles on people's faces, and now we know we're putting smiles on people's faces because the masks are gone.
- 18:45SPEAKER_04: So it's it's good to see those smiles again.
- 18:47SPEAKER_03: I said, listen, no mask.
- 18:48SPEAKER_03: You gotta you're gonna have to lift the mandate so we can have a great grand open.
- 18:52SPEAKER_03: So he lifts the type of pull I have in this town.
- 18:55SPEAKER_03: I don't know if you know that.
- 18:56SPEAKER_04: Everyone being safe is obviously the most important thing, but it it makes it feel like it did before.
- 19:02SPEAKER_04: It's gonna be nice to kind of see those mask jokes go away, I'll be honest.
- 19:05SPEAKER_04: Uh, and some new material to come out of this.
- 19:07SPEAKER_04: I think it's time to turn the page and move on to the next chapter.
- 19:09SPEAKER_04: It's hard to, yeah, it's hard to laugh when you have a mask on, but yeah, now it's good.
- 19:13SPEAKER_04: It's good now.
- 19:13SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 19:14SPEAKER_04: Yeah, well, because a lot of it's an interaction, right?
- 19:16SPEAKER_04: So comment is a conversation with the audience.
- 19:18SPEAKER_04: And it's a it's it's it's reading facial expressions.
- 19:20SPEAKER_04: And when they don't see that, you know, they don't know sometimes if a joke's landing or if it's hitting.
- 19:24SPEAKER_04: I can't wait to go out and just make everybody have a great time tonight.
- 19:27SPEAKER_04: That's what it's all about.
- 19:28SPEAKER_04: I'm so excited to see so many lovely people in this room.
- 19:34Sean McAllister: And that was a fun night, Dana.
- 19:36Sean McAllister: And something that you and I were talking about, aside from the LA Comedy Club, is how nice the casino is over there at the Strat.
- 19:46Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 19:46Dayna Roselli: And I was after we went there, I was at a Super Bowl get together and I was telling everyone in the room, has anyone been inside the strat?
- 19:53Dayna Roselli: Because Sean and I, when we walk in there, we're always like, it is so nice, some of the renovations that they've done in there.
- 19:58Dayna Roselli: And I think we talked about it about a year ago.
- 20:00Dayna Roselli: Yep.
- 20:01Dayna Roselli: Um, and we just keep saying, we even walked by the sports book, and I thought, that is a nice sports book that I feel like I haven't heard anyone talk about recently.
- 20:09Dayna Roselli: So, FYI, if you're getting ready for March Madness, check out the Strat.
- 20:14Dayna Roselli: It's got a great sports book.
- 20:16Dayna Roselli: We were saying like the furniture, even like some of the shit, like the fixtures and the art, everything.
- 20:21Dayna Roselli: It's really nice.
- 20:22Sean McAllister: Everything.
- 20:23Sean McAllister: It looks uh the owners over there have done a great job of uh really just keeping it up to par and up to snuff.
- 20:32Sean McAllister: And it's a yeah, it is.
- 20:34Sean McAllister: It looks nice and fresh and ready for uh your money into those slot machines.
- 20:39Dayna Roselli: And something we were gonna mention in tips, but we might as well just mention it right now, actually.
- 20:43Dayna Roselli: Uh there's a McDonald's upstairs, and you and I were saying it's rare to have a McDonald's in a hotel casino, and it's actually kind of nice when you don't want to do like the big dinner, you know, or lunch.
- 20:56Sean McAllister: Like sometimes just grabbing a burger or some nuggets to chow down on.
- 21:01Sean McAllister: Like it's a convenient thing.
- 21:02Dayna Roselli: It is, it is.
- 21:03Dayna Roselli: So FYI, second floor, there's a McDonald's.
- 21:08Sean McAllister: All right, well, we've got a rundown of a bunch of shows that have just been announced too, Dana.
- 21:13Dayna Roselli: Yeah, get ready to head over to Margaritaville.
- 21:16Dayna Roselli: I've never seen Jimmy Buffett live, but I heard it's super uh what do they call them?
- 21:19Dayna Roselli: The Parrot Heads?
- 21:20Dayna Roselli: Is that what they're fancy?
- 21:21Dayna Roselli: The Parrot Heads, yeah.
- 21:22Dayna Roselli: The fan base of Jimmy Buffett.
- 21:23Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 21:23Dayna Roselli: Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band performing at MGM Grand Garden Arena Saturday, October 8th.
- 21:29Dayna Roselli: That was just announced, and I know he really brings them in.
- 21:33Sean McAllister: He does.
- 21:34Sean McAllister: Uh Usher also on the move.
- 21:37Sean McAllister: You know from listening to past episodes, Usher had a residency over at the Coliseum at Caesars Palace.
- 21:44Sean McAllister: Uh that d ended.
- 21:47Sean McAllister: Now he is over at uh Dolby Live at Park MGM.
- 21:53Sean McAllister: And those sh shows, I think he has twenty three shows uh throughout twenty twenty two.
- 21:59Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that'll be good.
- 22:00Dayna Roselli: I mean, people really enjoyed Usher at the Coliseum, so I think moving him into the park MGM is a great move.
- 22:06Dayna Roselli: It is.
- 22:06Dayna Roselli: And I'll look forward to seeing what he does on that stage.
- 22:09Dayna Roselli: Um, and glad that he has a place.
- 22:11Dayna Roselli: You know, he left the Coliseum, but there's a lot of openings at the Coliseum now, so he actually probably could have stayed.
- 22:16Sean McAllister: Thanks, Adele.
- 22:17Dayna Roselli: Thanks, Adele.
- 22:18Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 22:19Dayna Roselli: All right, Elvis Costello and the imposters.
- 22:21Dayna Roselli: I know they're super popular.
- 22:22Dayna Roselli: They announced a one-night only performance at the theater at Virgin Hotels.
- 22:27Dayna Roselli: That's on September 3rd.
- 22:28Sean McAllister: And Shania Twain, the country queen.
- 22:31Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 22:32Sean McAllister: She is back on stage over at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood.
- 22:36Sean McAllister: Dana, you and I are uh headed to see Shania.
- 22:39Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 22:40Dayna Roselli: And I haven't seen her at Zappos Theater yet, so I look forward to it.
- 22:43Dayna Roselli: I saw her over at the Coliseum, and I was just chatting the other day with a girlfriend of mine, Melissa, who's gonna come to Shania with me.
- 22:49Dayna Roselli: And we're saying, you know, I mean, her songs are catchy.
- 22:53Dayna Roselli: Her one album that both of us had had in college is just great.
- 22:56Dayna Roselli: It's hit after hit after hit, and you can't help but sing them and love them.
- 23:00Sean McAllister: You can't.
- 23:00Sean McAllister: It don't impress me much.
- 23:03Dayna Roselli: Let's go, girls.
- 23:04Dayna Roselli: I mean, you know, it's gonna be fun.
- 23:06Dayna Roselli: It's gonna be fun.
- 23:06Sean McAllister: It is, so we're looking forward.
- 23:08Sean McAllister: Uh Shania, welcome back to Vegas.
- 23:10Sean McAllister: Uh Keith Urban is uh doing a handful of shows over at Caesar's Coliseum uh in Adele's absence.
- 23:19Sean McAllister: Right.
- 23:19Sean McAllister: Uh it actually was it just came out.
- 23:21Sean McAllister: He did an interview with People Magazine, Keith Urban did, and said that he received a very frantic phone call after Adele canceled her shows, which we presumed was the case.
- 23:33Dayna Roselli: We talked about it on the podcast.
- 23:34Dayna Roselli: We did that week when the Keith Urban shows were announced.
- 23:36Dayna Roselli: We're like, we're no, he he got the call to probably fill in some of those pockets, and he did.
- 23:42Sean McAllister: Being a team player.
- 23:43Sean McAllister: And uh yeah, Keith confirmed our suspicions in the new people magazine.
- 23:49Sean McAllister: Um, but Keith is back on stage March 25th through April 22nd.
- 23:54Dayna Roselli: April 2nd.
- 23:55Sean McAllister: Oh, April 2nd, sorry.
- 23:56Sean McAllister: I had the twos on the brain.
- 23:58Sean McAllister: Uh so that's over at the Coliseum.
- 24:02Dayna Roselli: Over at the Cosmopolitan, they have Kevin Hart coming to the Chelsea, and that'll be funny.
- 24:08Dayna Roselli: People love Kevin Hart.
- 24:10Dayna Roselli: I've never seen him in person.
- 24:11Dayna Roselli: Have you seen him do stand-up and I've not, no.
- 24:13Dayna Roselli: No, but I've seen clips and stuff, and he's super funny.
- 24:16Dayna Roselli: Uh, so popular that they actually had to add a couple more show times.
- 24:20Dayna Roselli: So his shows are July 2nd and July 3rd, but now they've added two show times, so they have a 7 p.m.
- 24:26Dayna Roselli: and a 10 p.m.
- 24:27Dayna Roselli: And again, that's at the Cosmopolitan.
- 24:30Sean McAllister: Also at the Cosmopolitan, the Killers, our Las Vegas band.
- 24:34Sean McAllister: They grew up here in Las Vegas.
- 24:36Sean McAllister: Uh, they're doing well, they announced one show over at the Cosmopolitan.
- 24:41Sean McAllister: It sold out almost immediately.
- 24:45Sean McAllister: Insane.
- 24:46Sean McAllister: We knew that was gonna be the case because there's always demand when there's a killer show in Vegas.
- 24:50Sean McAllister: So they added a second date, uh, two more dates, actually.
- 24:55Sean McAllister: And if you can get a ticket, you're lucky.
- 24:57Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 24:58Dayna Roselli: I think the special thing about this show is it's a smaller venue, right?
- 25:02Dayna Roselli: It doesn't happen because they are doing like their arena tour, and I think they're coming to T-Mobile in August or something like that.
- 25:07Dayna Roselli: But this is rare, special, and I think a lot of people wanted to be a part of that.
- 25:12Dayna Roselli: And I'm glad they're up for adding dates, right?
- 25:15Dayna Roselli: Um, one quick thing that just came in, actually, just a couple hours ago, is you know, and I know a lot of people love Motley Crue and Death Leopard and Poison and Joan Jett and the Black Hearts, and they're all coming together for a special show at Allegiant Stadium Friday, September 9th.
- 25:33Sean McAllister: Wow.
- 25:33Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's the biggest North American stadium tour, apparently, uh, kicking off in June.
- 25:38Dayna Roselli: A million tickets have already been sold.
- 25:40Dayna Roselli: So five new shows added, and Allegiant Stadium, one of them.
- 25:44Sean McAllister: All right, should we get to tips?
- 25:46Dayna Roselli: Let's do it.
- 25:52Dayna Roselli: Hey, here's a tip.
- 25:54Dayna Roselli: If you'd like to see Sean and I in person, we will be at the Hard Rock Cafe on the strip, hosting another event that's taking place on March 1st.
- 26:03Dayna Roselli: It's 5 30 to 8 30, and it's the debut of the Lionel Messi Burger.
- 26:09Dayna Roselli: And this thing is no joke, Sean.
- 26:11Sean McAllister: It is no joke at all.
- 26:13Sean McAllister: If you're planning on coming out there, uh, I would suggest maybe uh skipping breakfast and skipping lunch, maybe even skipping dinner the night before.
- 26:24Sean McAllister: Come hungry because this burger is colossal.
- 26:29Sean McAllister: It looks delicious.
- 26:30Dayna Roselli: It really does.
- 26:31Dayna Roselli: We are having a meeting next week to talk about uh some of the things that we'll be doing that night, so we'll keep you posted.
- 26:36Dayna Roselli: But if you did want to come out and support and check out the new burger, Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip, right across from New York, New York.
- 26:44Dayna Roselli: New York, New York.
- 26:45Sean McAllister: Also, uh at Area 15, that is uh the complex of uh retail, food and beverage, experiential art installations, etc.
- 27:00Dayna Roselli: Neon games, yeah.
- 27:02Sean McAllister: Omega Mart is inside, and we've been over there for the podcast before.
- 27:07Sean McAllister: Uh it's the first anniversary of Omega Mart.
- 27:10Sean McAllister: It's a very uh difficult thing to explain.
- 27:13Dayna Roselli: It is.
- 27:14Sean McAllister: Sometimes we're like, uh, just go or but is it it is a uh feast for all of your senses.
- 27:23Dayna Roselli: It really is.
- 27:24Dayna Roselli: I'm glad they're doing well and they're still open, but kind of you know, and the tip, I guess, for folks that we wanted to pass along is hey, they're like Sean said, there are a lot of things going on at area 15.
- 27:35Dayna Roselli: If you haven't checked it out yet, it's actually right near the strip, it's not very far.
- 27:39Dayna Roselli: So if you're coming into Vegas or, you know, if obviously if you live here, they're just constantly adding new stuff there.
- 27:46Dayna Roselli: And in fact, we know already that they plan to expand because we know someone that had to move out of a strip mall there because they're gonna kind of like turn it into a parking lot.
- 27:56Dayna Roselli: Bulldoze it.
- 27:57Dayna Roselli: Yeah, bulldoze it and turn it into a parking lot.
- 28:00Dayna Roselli: So um, there's a lot going on there, and they're always adding new things.
- 28:03Dayna Roselli: People that go always leave with great stories and say it's so much fun, they can't wait to go back.
- 28:09Dayna Roselli: So, Area 15, happy anniversary to Omega Mart, and then go check it out.
- 28:13Dayna Roselli: They just added this thing that goes in, you are trying to explain it to me.
- 28:16Dayna Roselli: That goes into the sky.
- 28:18Sean McAllister: Yes, it's really cool.
- 28:20Sean McAllister: So there's this metal structure, it almost looks like a DNA strand, and in the middle of it, there's this big white balloon, and attached to the balloon is this circular uh section of seats with a bar in the middle.
- 28:36Dayna Roselli: Oh my goodness.
- 28:37Sean McAllister: So you go, this attraction is called liftoff, it's a panoramic skyline experience.
- 28:43Sean McAllister: The balloon lifts all of the drinkers and riders up off the ground to get a really unique view of Las Vegas.
- 28:54Sean McAllister: You get to have a cocktail while you're up there.
- 28:56Sean McAllister: Yeah, so not bad.
- 28:58Dayna Roselli: See, I always see that one, that down downtown bar that you have to like pedal.
- 29:02Sean McAllister: Yes, that's that's fun too.
- 29:05Sean McAllister: I don't know.
- 29:05Dayna Roselli: I don't know what it's called, the pedal bar.
- 29:07Dayna Roselli: Yeah, something like that.
- 29:07Dayna Roselli: And I always look at that and go, that'd be fun for like a hot two minutes until you get tired from pedaling.
- 29:13Sean McAllister: Well, you know what the secret is that there's enough other people on there that you can lift your feet up off the pedals.
- 29:18Dayna Roselli: But what if everyone does it?
- 29:20Sean McAllister: Well, I think they have a motor too.
- 29:22Dayna Roselli: Well, anyway, they're both fun, but I always thought I think I'd rather lift off than actually have to pedal.
- 29:27Dayna Roselli: So that's my type of experiential bar.
- 29:30Dayna Roselli: I gotta check that out over at Area 15.
- 29:32Sean McAllister: And hey, we want to give another quick thank you to our sponsor, Targeted Tax Relief.
- 29:38Sean McAllister: Uh, if you are in trouble with the IRS, you owe back taxes, wages getting garnished, all that stuff that nobody really wants.
- 29:48Sean McAllister: Targeted tax relief can help lift that burden off of you.
- 29:52Sean McAllister: Give a call, just call for a free consultation.

- 30:06Dayna Roselli: It's tax season, and this doesn't have to be done in tax season, but it's a good reminder, you know, of like, ugh, you know, because everyone starts thinking of taxes, and then you're like, sometimes when you've got that, you know, heavy burden on your shoulders, you're like, oh yeah, I owe a lot to the IRS.
- 30:20Dayna Roselli: Well, call Tracy and get it all handled.
- 30:22Sean McAllister: Yes, she listened I was just talking with Tracy last night.
- 30:26Dayna Roselli: She does our taxes.
- 30:27Sean McAllister: And uh she was like, listen, some people don't like to talk to the IRS, it scares them a little.
- 30:33Sean McAllister: And I was like, but not you.
- 30:34Sean McAllister: You go nose to nose with those IRS guys.
- 30:37Sean McAllister: I know.
- 30:37Sean McAllister: She's like, Oh yeah, I can't wait to pick up the phone and talk to them.
- 30:40Dayna Roselli: And she feels she always says she feels so accomplished when it's you know, job well done, when she helps people.
- 30:45Dayna Roselli: It feels so good.
- 30:47Dayna Roselli: She loves doing it.
- 30:48Dayna Roselli: We highly recommend Tracy.
- 30:49Dayna Roselli: Again, targeted taxrelief.com.
- 30:52Dayna Roselli: Thank you for sponsoring the podcast.
- 30:54Sean McAllister: And we will be back with episode 107 next week.
- 30:58Sean McAllister: Have a great week, everyone.
- 31:00SPEAKER_03: Let's do it.
- 31:06unknown: Let's go.
