- 0:25Welcome inside the tree House. It's time to leave your warriors outside and come
- 0:32laugh with us inside the Treehouse. Us being me, Dan Mall Hint,
- 0:38Trey Trenholm, and another hymn Raj Sharma unless they've changed their pronouns and forgot
- 0:43to tell me. And if you do, just you know, shoot me
- 0:50a memo or a text or or a photo of your new profile. Pick
- 0:55I'll get the hint. Coming up on this episode of the Treehouse, a
- 1:03very very very stupid episode of the Treehouse, as most of them are,
- 1:07but this one I think. I think today we will reach new lows.
- 1:10At least that's my hope in today's show. Wrong answers only some very nice
- 1:19things for Trey. And it's important that I reiterate this, even though I
- 1:30am twenty two hundred miles away. Do not knock on my door uninvited.
- 1:38Do not show up to my house without announcing yourself and getting consent from me
- 1:46beforehand. This is not new. This is old. This is something that
- 1:51I have felt basically my entire adult life. I even once had when I
- 1:57was the ripe old age of nineteen living in south central Arlington, just north
- 2:04of Pioneer Parkway off of Cooper had a friend from Plano drop by. It
- 2:14was a tough lesson he learned that day. And Mark, I understand you're
- 2:16probably still a little but hurt about it. But I'm not opening my door
- 2:20for anyone who was not invited. What ye preach, Jake, take us
- 2:27to church, Well you can't because nobody's coming. Nobody's allowed to come in
- 2:31the church. Not my church. I mean when church's doors are open,
- 2:38mine aren't. Yeah. See, I've never I've never subscribed to the sitcom
- 2:45idea that my door is always unlocked and any neighbor or anybody I know or
- 2:50have ever known, may freely come and go as they please. I do
- 2:53not want a Kramer in my life. I don't like the idea of walking
- 2:58across the hall and coming into I don't like you walking across the hall coming
- 3:01into my apartment eating all my food like friends. And I especially don't like
- 3:08when people just drop by and just drop stuff off, and they knock on
- 3:12the door and be like, hey, you need to talk to me.
- 3:14Jehovah's witnesses, I'm talking to you. That's sad. Now, first you
- 3:20to me, there are two different things there you're talking about number one,
- 3:25which is just people you know coming by unexpectedly. That's one thing. Ye
- 3:31equal big note and as big of a no no, and typically more dangerous.
- 3:37Don't ever just come walk We may be best friends. Don't ever just
- 3:39open my door and stroll in. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's called
- 3:46manners. Yea. When I was in college, my everybody knew. My
- 3:51front door was always unlocked, so you could just walk in if you wanted
- 3:53to be watching TV. My train brothers would come over and just walk in
- 3:57the door to go straight to the kitchen, grab a beer, and come
- 3:59sit down. Yeah, didn't bother me. It was very nice. It's
- 4:01nice to have people come over and spend time. Okay, you know how
- 4:05at least knock. You know how. People say there's two types of people
- 4:10in the world, and they always, you know, pick two random things
- 4:13that are opposed. Like one of those things is there are two types of
- 4:16people in this world. People that like cilantro, people that don't like cilantro.
- 4:23There's two types of people in this world. People that feel guilt and
- 4:28have to help you clean the house just because you're doing it, versus the
- 4:32other type of person. We'll to just sit there and watch movies and not
- 4:34give a damn. That's two types of people, and then two other types
- 4:39of people that we've known for many years is you either stand to wipe your
- 4:43ass after you poop, or you sit and you sitters are weird and I
- 4:46don't trust you. And then then there's the new one. Now we have
- 4:49learned there are two types of people in the world. The people that are
- 4:51fine with you kicking in the front door and just coming on in like you
- 4:56have a standing invitation, or there's people like me and Trey, which is
- 5:00you better at least knock first, otherwise you're gonna get shot. D You
- 5:05are apparently the open door policy guy. I'm more you're more than welcome,
- 5:10uh to come by it. I don't. I'm not when you guys,
- 5:14when you guys do this, like these scenarios in your head, like you
- 5:16better, I'll have a gun next to me. I'm like, who's coming
- 5:19to are you? Like to quote Mark Ag are you fucking Jason Bourne?
- 5:24Like who are you that you're worried that somebody's coming to get you. I'm
- 5:28a person who is very very few people know where I live. There are
- 5:31very few people in the face of the earth could actually go I want to
- 5:34go to treys and know what door to go to, so and they all
- 5:39know they're gonna call or text me and say, hey, I'm gonna stop
- 5:44by beforehand. So if you just if someone's just knocking on my door unexpectedly,
- 5:48that's not good. And yes, I'm going to have a thirty eight
- 5:51special behind my back before I open the door. That's sad. No,
- 5:57that's called being prepared. Because things, bad things, RAJ, bad things.
- 6:01I just saw a headline that said some guys sexually assaulted women who are
- 6:04walking home. Oh okay, and and and these things happen where someone will
- 6:10knock on your door and then you know they rob you or shoot you or
- 6:13Yeah. I love the idea that you think a person who's coming to your
- 6:16place to injure you, well just knock and just sit and wait and wait
- 6:23for you to open the door. They would probably just kick it in and
- 6:26start to shooting. This is how I know you're not a criminal, because
- 6:29Raj. And sometimes it's good to distract your opponent. So someone that's coming
- 6:32to your door to do bad things too, you might actually knock on your
- 6:35front door. So then perhaps someone sneaking around the back, or someone knocks
- 6:39on the front door because they're weird and just feel like being polite before they
- 6:43rob you or shoot you in the face. The point is bad things can
- 6:46happen. And I'm reminded of the Sebastian Maniscalo bit that I saw recently where
- 6:51he talks about, you know, the difference in twenty years, you know,
- 6:55between you know company and you know, hiding from people at your front
- 6:59door. I'm of the mindset that I just don't I don't like surprises across
- 7:04the board, and that carries over into I don't like surprises at in the
- 7:08front door. So okay, so let's say this. Let's say, you
- 7:12know, we we wrap up the show, you know, on the Friday
- 7:15or whatever, and I go, you know what, I have just a
- 7:18hankering to go see my buddy Dan, and I hop on a plane and
- 7:23I fly. I'm like, I'm gonna surprise my buddy's Dan and Tara,
- 7:27and I get to your island, I find randomly somehow where you live,
- 7:32and I find a taxi to take me to that place. I just say,
- 7:38the lady kidnapping goats, can you take me to where she takes them
- 7:45and I knock on your door. What then happens? I have to shoot
- 7:50you. I'm sorry. But if you've gone to that much trouble to hunt
- 7:56me down, then you have bad intentions. I'm not hunt you down.
- 8:00I'm coming by to say hi because I missed you, buddy. No,
- 8:01it is hunting because you don't know where I live. You you just know
- 8:05an island in the Caribbean. You know you can tell the airline to get
- 8:09you there, but from there you have to hunt to find me. But
- 8:15I'm not as much as I love you, i'd be forced to shoot you.
- 8:18I'm sorry. He doesn't know that. He doesn't know who's on the
- 8:22other side of his doors. What stranger lurks? That's right, because Raj,
- 8:26you've known me for over twenty years. You know to announce yourself beforehand,
- 8:30you know, to ask, hey, Dan, mind if I come
- 8:31see you, in which case I'd be like, yeah, cool. But
- 8:33if you don't, now, I know something is suspicious and someone's probably holding
- 8:37a gun to your head making you hunt me down so they can do bad
- 8:41stuff, in which case, me putting you down right then and there would
- 8:45be doing you a favor because then at least a friend is shooting you as
- 8:48opposed to someone that plans to do bad things to see my wife and her
- 8:50goat. So you wouldn't shoot the guy who's got me a gunpoint you're gonna
- 8:54shoot me first. Well, I don't know where that guy is, but
- 8:58you're right front of me, and if I shoot you, then he's gonna
- 9:03pop out of whatever bush he's hiding behind because he's gonna be stunned. He's
- 9:05like, oh my god, this guy's crazy. He just shot one of
- 9:07his best friends. I don't stand a chance. I'm gonna run away.
- 9:09Yeah you should. Wow, that is a That is a phenomenal scenario.
- 9:13And you're start it all up at the top of my head. You two
- 9:16are the reason why people don't just swing by and go hey, you know
- 9:20what, let me just see how they're doing. Good. That's so sad.
- 9:24Good, it's not sad. Just hey, hey, you mind if
- 9:30I come by? Stop buying thirty minutes whatever? Like, that's that's just
- 9:33manners. Yes, I'm with trade. It's it's twofold. One, I
- 9:37don't like surprises across the board, and two it is a manners thing.
- 9:41Uh, it's polite. To just to ask someone if you can come over,
- 9:45I supposed to just you know, demanding it or feeling entitled to walk
- 9:50into my house. Yeah, but like Sebastian talks about in that joke,
- 9:54like you didn't have people come by like at night and you're like, you
- 9:58know, you're wrapped like every but he's unwinding. Everybody's had dinner, and
- 10:01like the doorbell rings and and there's you know, you run to the door
- 10:05because you want to see who it is, and then there's like a family
- 10:09friend outside and like the excitement and joy like, oh no, get not
- 10:13only is he are they here to say hi and check up on us?
- 10:16And how cool is that? But we get to stay up like another thirty
- 10:18minutes while they have tea and conversate with the folks. First of all,
- 10:20if when I was a kid, if I ran to the door and opened
- 10:24it and didn't know who was on the other side, I'm getting my ass
- 10:28whipped. Did you guys were there dungeon doors? What? Like what you
- 10:33didn't have like a peep hole that you could look out of it? You
- 10:37can't see it? Yeah, little Tray was too short. Oh, poor
- 10:41little Tray. I mean we had we had a nice door where you could
- 10:46see who was on the other side of it, and we also had the
- 10:50no soliciting sign, so oh yeah, those work. It's witness that that
- 10:56does not work. We never had them until my dad started talking to the
- 11:00Jehovah's witnesses. When he was going, like, he started talking, went
- 11:03to check the mail, and they saw the no soliciting thing, and so
- 11:05they kept going. I think it's because of people like you. They were
- 11:07scared of might shoot them for not obeying to the sign that you bought at
- 11:11home depot. My dad was checking the mail and started talking them and invited
- 11:16them inside, and basically it was like, hey, feel free to stop
- 11:20by any time. So they did. But outside of that, we never
- 11:24got bugged by anybody, and it was always family friends that came in.
- 11:26It was late at night and it was great. My parents would make tea
- 11:30and bring out snacks and you're like, oh, this is great, and
- 11:33they would catch up. Maybe it was because my parents fought so much that
- 11:39we didn't really get much company, because even if someone had the idea,
- 11:43by the time they got within a half mile of our house, they would
- 11:46have heard the screaming and thought you know what, maybe let's just go home.
- 11:50They didn't stop to go Hey, let's check in and see if we
- 11:52can help. You should have heard the screaming at a certain point, like
- 11:58you you you hear, and you're like it was other we can do for
- 12:00those people. Well, that's just sad. The other thing is, and
- 12:03this may be more a tune with reality. When I was very young,
- 12:09we lived in the country like we lived the sticks of Oklahoma. So if
- 12:13someone just popped by, that was a vagrant, that was someone who had
- 12:18bad intentions, because anyone else would be maybe just pick up the phone or
- 12:22shout through the barboar Ham coming over. But also, and there's some after
- 12:26watching that whole Indian Predator series. The thing culturally, I'm sure you don't
- 12:31worry about the strangers. It's the people in your family that are gonna kill
- 12:35you. Speak yeah, okay, real quick, very much. Speaking of
- 12:39which, the strangers, the movie The Strangers that right there, RAJ,
- 12:43go watch that movie that right there. Will teach you to never hope for
- 12:46a random visitor to your house. That's all I gotta say about that.
- 12:50Okay, Now tell me more tray about the Indian murderers. Oh gosh,
- 12:56it's a whole series on Netflix. Yeah, of course it is. When
- 13:00it comes to when it comes to serial killing, we like to keep it
- 13:03in the family. They don't. We don't rely on the help of strangers.
- 13:11The last one I watched was called Curry and Cyin. That's good.
- 13:13That's a really good one. It's the name of it. It's Jolly something,
- 13:18but it's it's this very American sounding name. Jolly Yeah, family,
- 13:24Jolly Joseph. Yeah, that's it, Jolly Joseph. Yeah. And she
- 13:28uh, just wiping them out. She just kind of infiltrated a family and
- 13:33took it over. And if you didn't like it, you were going to
- 13:37die. Yeah, hand that rocks the cradle style. No, it's more
- 13:43like, yeah, I mean if you combine that in like the shining Yeah,
- 13:50she just uh, she just showed up. Uh. It was they
- 13:52got married. Uh, and then she was like, oh, I don't
- 13:56like your sister so death, and I don't like your death, your parents
- 14:01death. Everybody's like, man, the unfortunate luck. This family's happy.
- 14:11Meanwhile that the ladies just kind of like, I know, what's what's happening.
- 14:15She did her two sons, I believe she allowed to live. She
- 14:20liked them. She basically married into a family and really didn't like him and
- 14:24just killed them all exactly. It was so she basically lived out one of
- 14:28Trey's fever dreams. Yeah, and they were just like, man, it's
- 14:35just and then uh and I think they were burying them like in the backyards
- 14:41Clopeck style. Okay, yeah, yeah, so like as to avoid autopsies
- 14:45and things like this, it's like we'll just have the have a memorial.
- 14:48But then the bodies are in the back they just next to the cat.
- 14:50Yeah, that's pretty much what they were. They didn't get a mark er,
- 14:54you didn't get anything. They had to go in and but that's a
- 14:56really good so even to our listeners, go watch Korean. It's really good.
- 15:03It's a it's a terrible title. Yeah, it makes me not want
- 15:07to go back to my favorite Indian restaurants. I don't love the Korean syanid,
- 15:13but she was where that comes from. She was mixing it into their
- 15:16food. Uh and and sometimes slowly. Sometimes it wasn't like to kill you
- 15:24immediately, which was what cyanide will do. But she sometimes she was before
- 15:31it was cool. She was playing the long game. She was like,
- 15:37you know what, I'm gonna get you hooked on this and this is another
- 15:41reason why. This is another reason why you need to be wary of strangers.
- 15:45And speaking of which, another uh our conversation about not liking random people
- 15:50showing up at our door. This reminded me of the story I saw a
- 15:54couple of days ago, and that is have you ever wanted to have?
- 16:03Was years ago? What was it I wanted? Like a it's like a
- 16:07like a fifty caliber gun turret on the house that I just in case,
- 16:10you know, for home defense. You can get up there and just you
- 16:11know, no Raj, not you, Okay, maybe just me anyway you
- 16:19home defense. Come on. Look, this story that I saw the other
- 16:25day reminded me about how much I don't like random visitors at my house.
- 16:29And technology apparently has started to catch up with my feelings. And Trey,
- 16:33you're going to appreciate this as well, because not in America, but out
- 16:37of another country, Slovenia, a Slovenian startup has created a smart security camera
- 16:45that will shoot paintballs at people you don't want on your property. Okay,
- 16:53let's see Treys. Trey's like yeah, I could see the benefit to this.
- 16:56He's got a smile. Raj looks thoroughly horrified, so disappointed in you
- 17:03guys and Trey's head. He's already changed the paintballs to pepperballs. Even thought
- 17:10of that yet you haven't trade. The first thing I thought of was changing
- 17:12the paintballs to to nine millimeter. Oh wow, or even a step,
- 17:17even a step further, just for funsies, taking the paintball ammo out of
- 17:22the security camera and doing the little little blow darts. I think that'd be
- 17:26fun. That's just that it's people like you that write in like plots into
- 17:32Bond movies where it's sharks with lasers. That's that's it's people with your minds
- 17:37that I have like because you see something like that in a movie, like
- 17:41who comes up with that? You guys do? Yeah? Yes, actually
- 17:45I take that as a compliment, thank you. So I'm just so disappointed.
- 17:49No, but it really is the big You've never do you have a
- 17:52doorbell cam? Do you have a ring cam? Google? Nest thing?
- 17:55Doorbell? No? Why why would he need one? That's true. He
- 18:00likes the surprises. He wants people just coming in his house. Well,
- 18:03Trey and I don't, so we're going to be in the market for this
- 18:07new security camera that will choose violence. A big thinking Slovenian startup has created
- 18:14a curious smart camera that doesn't just spy on your visitors, but will actively
- 18:18open fire on potential intruders with paintball pellets or even tear gas rounds. Ohell
- 18:22yeah, with ultra high precision do it yourself home security systems are, of
- 18:27course commonplace, clever and simple. In this case, it's paint cam Eve,
- 18:33an armed home security camera with an itchy trigger finger. I haven't seen
- 18:40Trey look this happy in a very long time. See in my mind,
- 18:42I've got the scene like out out of the Avengers, where you know Iron
- 18:47Man, he can just lock onto everybody and then so you've got the system
- 18:51of your house and it just locks on each person's get locked on. Yeah,
- 18:55that's that's just the saddest I don't even know. Hey, hey,
- 19:00I don't know you guys. Let a boy dream For the listeners. You
- 19:10have to subscribe so you can watch the phone video just when Dan's reading the
- 19:14story. The joy that watches over Trey's face is worth every pity. I
- 19:22haven't seen you don't try and take my Sparkle rush. But I know what
- 19:27to get you for Christmas. I'll have it shipped. I'm not dropping it
- 19:32off at your door. You can drop it off on my tour. Just
- 19:36don't knock there we go. Or if I don't recommend knocking and running,
- 19:45yeah, I don't do that anyway. Paint Cam EVE. Paint Cam EVE
- 19:51uses automatic target marking, face recognition, and AI based decision making to identify
- 19:56unfamiliar visitors to your property day or night. It then gives ED two oh
- 20:02nine style warnings to anyone that it doesn't know. Roj you you know who
- 20:07ED two to nine is? Is that the computer from what's the movie I'm
- 20:11brain porting on? Are you thinking? Are you thinking of two thousand and
- 20:15one A Space Odyssey? Yes? No, that's how? How? How
- 20:18was Colder in his methods? ED two o nine was the the next step
- 20:27in the evolution of OCP's police program after RoboCop, so ED two nine was
- 20:36the big machine that got a little, got a little carried away with its
- 20:38uh enforcement, gotcha anyway? If they failed to comply and take off within
- 20:45the time limit EVE. If they failed to comply and don't take off within
- 20:49the time limit, Eve will start firing off pinkball pellets that will mark the
- 20:53intruder for later police identification. That's just what we as a society. What
- 21:03are we doing? I wonder if you could use charts dream Away Track Dream
- 21:18the little dream you are listening to. The Treehouse visits online at Treehouse on
- 21:30air dot com. In case you don't know how happy this is made tre
- 21:33That's the first time in twenty five years that I've known the man to hear
- 21:37him sing. Time not to get Daniel Cook from COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration into
- 21:49the Treehouse now for your free roof inspection. Called Daniel at eight three three
- 21:53Cook DFW the website to see all the great work that they do and have
- 21:57done. That is Cook DFW do. Speaking of work that you have done,
- 22:02Daniel, is there a recent project that you've done that you're just particularly
- 22:06proud of? Well, Daniel, I mean, I'm trying to think what's
- 22:08the best one. The largest one that we've just did recently is a really
- 22:11a good one. So a house here and nearby and Anna had some severe
- 22:17water damage, sustained interior damage all through while it was a two storyed house
- 22:22and the water started on the top floor and went all the way through the
- 22:26whole top floor and then flooded out the bottom floor. So a complete got
- 22:32out of all the sheet rock, several of the other supports and different things
- 22:36like that, and then you know, within about eighty five days, we
- 22:40rebuilt that home and put all new tile in it, sheet rock, paint,
- 22:44fixtures, face plates, I mean everything from scratch, brand new kitchen.
- 22:49So yeah, that was a really good feat and I think it came
- 22:52out great. The homeowners were very ecstatic. They didn't have to worry about
- 22:56anything from start to finish, and we were able to turn the keys back
- 23:00over to them with almost zero problems at all. That's what you want when
- 23:04it comes to having any work done inside your home, because you want to
- 23:10be able to trust the person doing it and love the result. And that's
- 23:12why we recommend Daniel from Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration. He can do the
- 23:17same thing for you, So give him a call eight three to three cook
- 23:18DFW or that website again cookdfw dot com. You're in the treehouse, visit
- 23:33us online at treehouseonair dot com. This segment of the Treehouse is brought to
- 23:38you by our dear dear friends at COOKDFW Roofing and Restoration for your free roof
- 23:45inspection. Give Daniel and Kerry Cook a call right now eight three three Cook
- 23:49DFW. That's eight three three Cook DFW the website cookdfw dot com so you
- 23:55can see some of the work they do for roofs. And then also if
- 23:57you need the interior stuff done like one new closet, bathroom, kitchen,
- 24:00all that kind of interior remodeling stuff. It's very difficult to find a contractor
- 24:06that you can trust, and that is the case with Cook DFW Roofing and
- 24:11Restoration. You can trust them because one of these days we may we may
- 24:14redo the we may redo the treehouse. If we ever just had to make
- 24:17it all fancy, they're gonna be the ones that will come in and do
- 24:19it up nice for us if and then of course we'll also have our doorbell
- 24:26camera at two o nine. Yeah, something, you can't We can't even
- 24:32get the roof done because of your odd paranoiase. Uh, we can't even
- 24:37we can't even get the treehouse renovated because apparently they're going to take the nail
- 24:41gun and kill us. No, they wouldn't do that. Cook The AFOW
- 24:45is very responsible and they also announced when they're showing up, so they have
- 24:51nothing to worry about. Raja, tell you what when when we we do
- 24:53open that treeoss facility like that train and I will be be on the inside
- 24:59and you can it in the lawn chair in front of the treehouse and welcome
- 25:03people before they get shot. Okay, that's so I'm luring them to their
- 25:07death. That's my job. Now you're not luring showing up anyway. Yeah,
- 25:11we have this. So we have the door, like we have a
- 25:14door here in the house and that's opening. There's a glass door and so
- 25:18there's two doors and then that locks. So we can just be sitting there
- 25:21and see who comes up. And I don't yeah, I don't know.
- 25:26I don't like that because then they can see in what is what do you
- 25:30guys do? Are y'all cooking meth? What are you doing? What is
- 25:32happening in this out? You're stealing goats and cooking math? Is that when
- 25:34you move to the island the drug business was better. Were weird things just
- 25:38happened when you when you moved on. I can't explain it if if you
- 25:42come, you'll feel figure it out as a customs stops you with the baby
- 25:48goat inside your carry on anyway. Cook DFW Roofing and Restoration eight through three.
- 25:56Cook df W a cookdfw dot com. Last week we discussed traces depression
- 26:03and we talked about a little bit more in the Treehouse Plus episode from you
- 26:08Know Today whatever. It was Treehouse Plus twenty five. And there are some
- 26:15nice things for Trey that I that I want to tell him, but before
- 26:18we do that, I need to mention some other nice things, which include
- 26:22Verma Fest. We need to mention that because we have not been holding up
- 26:29our end of the bargain as far as that goes. And by we I
- 26:30mean me, So we're going to correct that right now. We mentioned a
- 26:34couple of weeks ago here in the Treehouse verma Fest number two is happening.
- 26:40That is the big concert headliner Drowning Pool at the Factory in deep Elum benefiting
- 26:48Pause in the City in memory of Mark Verma, the one time president of
- 26:55Pause in the City. The only thing that stopped Mark Verma for rescuing animals
- 27:00was cancer was dying, and so to honor him and to raise more money
- 27:06for continued rescue of North Texas dogs. Vermafest was born, and this year
- 27:15the headliner is Drowning Pool. So Mark Mark loved a handful of things,
- 27:21one of which was metal music and another thing was rescuing dogs. So the
- 27:26good folks that Pause in the city merged the two into a mega fundraising event
- 27:33known as Vermafest. And there's good news. We have a discount code for
- 27:37Vermafest that you the Treehouse listener can take advantage of. With the coupon code
- 27:42is tree House ten. That's all spelled out tree House ten so treehouse t
- 27:47ian that is live. And you can actually go use that coupon to buy
- 27:52your tickets for the concert and that'll give you a nice coupon discount. And
- 27:59you can also go to Posinthcity dot org and you can get more information on
- 28:03the event itself. There's merch specifically for Vermafest. There's information on the daytime
- 28:10show happening at Three Nations Brewing in Carrollton. There's also information about the concert
- 28:15that night again headlining headline headlined by Drowning Pool at the Studio at the Factory,
- 28:23and more information again at Pauseinthecity dot org. But when you order your
- 28:27tickets use the promo code Treehouse ten and get believe it's ten percent off,
- 28:34or you can pay full price and then the Pause in the City still gets
- 28:37the money. Either way, whatever you want to do, it works out.
- 28:40You get to go enjoy the concert, have a great time in memory
- 28:42of our friend Mark Verma, and help rescue some dogs in need of it.
- 28:49I have a feeling like that song Trey would attach that to his jart
- 28:56shooting ring camera with the drowning pools lit, the bodies of the floor just
- 29:03starts playing as people are getting jarted. Oh yes, absolutely, as the
- 29:10the AMMO comes out of the violence doorbell camera. Yes that, I'm sure
- 29:15that that's the original name of it. And then somebody would know, well,
- 29:18that won't sell, and they were wrong, because I'm pretty sure if
- 29:22either of you saw something named violence ring camera, you would buy it.
- 29:29All I'm saying is I wouldn't mind if my next doorbell camera had a violence
- 29:33mode. Violence mode. Wow. Like my parents would make tea they had
- 29:41like they had a little they had a little tin that was for snacks when
- 29:45guests would come, even if they were unannounced. And that came out.
- 29:48That was the good snacks like the cat. There were cashoes and almonds and
- 29:52like all these little Indian mixture things. And that's very sweet. But you
- 29:56know, for those of us you know that, I don't know why it
- 30:03is. But all I'm saying is, if your doorbell camera had a violence
- 30:07mode on it, I really don't think porch pirates would make it very far
- 30:10with your packages. Yes, okay, that I And again, uh,
- 30:17when when I did save Christmas for for some some people, there was no
- 30:21violence used. I used my trustee cell phone and I caught said porch pirate.
- 30:26Yeah, but they were caught because of the threat of violence from the
- 30:30police that you called. And what happened, what happened to him after that?
- 30:32They probably just got let go. No, this way they learn a
- 30:36lesson. That's right, not only not only learn a lesson from the doorbell
- 30:40camera, but also a lovely soundtrack to go with it. I think that's
- 30:45all I can play before we get copyright flagged on YouTube. Now. It
- 30:51just sounded like somebody yelled out the name Flow very aggressively. Uh he he
- 31:00had a quote, as the officer said, And here's the thing. There
- 31:02was no threat of violence. The Addison police Tahoe was pulling up towards him
- 31:08and he just put everything on the ground and sat down and he said I
- 31:12did it, and they're like cool, And they ran his ran his license
- 31:15or his ID whatever, and he had quote big boy warrants. So he
- 31:21was going away for a while, as was told to me by the wonderful
- 31:25police officers in Addison. But see again, no violence. I saw him
- 31:29doing it. I got on my phone. He got three he's getting three
- 31:33meals a day. Yeah, but it wouldn't have been really funny though,
- 31:37if when you saw him stealing packages from people's front porches, if one of
- 31:41them was Trey's apartment and then he tried stumbling away holding a package with forty
- 31:47jarts sticking out of his face. No, because I feel I feel like
- 31:49anytime you put Trey's apartment in it, it goes from a rescue to a
- 31:52recovery, like now I'm not even rendering day kind of goes to search and
- 32:07recovery. Yeah. I'm just really glad that our cameras for this show do
- 32:12not go below the waist because I don't need to see any more than Trey's
- 32:16smile right now. Yeah, I agree, Yeah, speaking of nice things.
- 32:22In addition to coupon code for Vermifest that is happening in June, we
- 32:30also have a new website. If you haven't noticed, go to Treehouse on
- 32:31Air dot com. Got a lovely new website up and running, very proud
- 32:36of that. It's got all sorts of shows and episodes and things on there,
- 32:38with more fun stuff to come, So go to Treehouse on Air dot
- 32:40com. Also, it also makes it extremely easy for you to share the
- 32:46show with a friend. You just tell them go to Treehouse on Air dot
- 32:50com. They can start playing an episode right there, right as soon as
- 32:52they get there, no searching, no clicking trying to find stuff shows right
- 32:57there. They can even start subscribing and listening and watching and all that good
- 33:00stuff at Treehouse on air dot com. And more nice things, more nice
- 33:06things. On the heels of Trey's depression episode last week, I don't know
- 33:12if you guys follow or read the Treehouse subreddit, but I wanted to share
- 33:19a couple of these with you, Trey, Texas crazy curls says Trey.
- 33:24If you read here, us listeners care, longtime listener, first time caller,
- 33:30which always cracks us up, especially in you a Reddit thread. Uh.
- 33:34She goes on to say, I'm assuming it's she, so apologies if
- 33:37not. Texas Crazy Curls says, as someone with suicidal ideation in my past,
- 33:43I completely understand what you're going through. Depression sucks. I've lost several
- 33:46which means seven family members the past few years, and so death is on
- 33:51my mind frequently. It's never too late to get a new lease on life
- 33:53and find new things to live for, whether it be volunteering at an animal
- 33:57shelter, biking, pilates, pickleball, coffee with friends, painting, live
- 34:00music, etc. Just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know
- 34:02you're not alone. Also, she gave you a bunch of things that you
- 34:06now have to do so you don't feel depressed. Animal shelter, biking,
- 34:10plates, plot a ball, coffee with the friend's, painting, live music,
- 34:13etc. Commented after that, Texas Godfather says I would like to second
- 34:19her comments. Just listened to his episode today and it hit deep. And
- 34:22then also Mandy says ditto. I just listened today, so we're relatable.
- 34:25I'm so glad it's discussed out loud. Too, you are not alone with
- 34:30a couple of heart and emojis and handclaps and on our Patreon the most commented
- 34:37episode that we've had today, Alexandra loves this episode, said it's been super
- 34:42helpful. Can't seem to get out of this funk and needed the laugh and
- 34:45the connection. Tracy was crying at work hoping no one comes to your recubcle
- 34:49to ask her questions, and she also said, I realized that we think
- 34:52of you as family from the years on the radio and now on the podcast,
- 34:55despite the fact you don't know us. I wish there was something I
- 34:59could say to make you feel better, especially since you have helped cheer me
- 35:01up so many times over the years. That right there, that message from
- 35:06Tracy, along with so many others that we've received, that right there is
- 35:12why we do the show a lot of it. Yes, it's selfish because
- 35:15it makes us feel good, not just because we might be depressed or having
- 35:19anxiety or whatever else is going on. We just like hanging out with our
- 35:22friends and laughing, and we like doing it in this setting. Because we
- 35:25could do this anywhay, we don't have to publish it. We publish it
- 35:30one because we have an undying need for acceptance. And the other real reason
- 35:34is from childhood trauma. The other reason is because we really just like entertaining
- 35:42you. We like entertaining you. We know a lot of things go on
- 35:45in this world that absolutely suck, and your work can suck, your family
- 35:51can suck, your kids can suck. All these different things can suck.
- 35:52But when you come in the treehouse, you can feel a little bit better.
- 35:55And that's the real reason that we do it. That and again the
- 36:00undying need for acceptance from others. So those are the nice things. So
- 36:06thank you to Trey to sharing that with all of us. And if you
- 36:10want to read all those comments, they're on Patreon, they're on Reddit,
- 36:14they're on Facebook, they're on Instagram. I saw some of them and it
- 36:17was very touching and I'm very grateful, And you know, that's ultimately that's
- 36:27why you know, put that out there. If it helps, if it
- 36:31helps somebody, then then it's worth it, because I mean it's it is
- 36:36a little embarrassing, yeah, a little humiliating, but because you're just kind
- 36:43of showing your exposed, you know, underbelly of But if it helps people,
- 36:50then cool, it's worth it. I've seen you at the beach tray.
- 36:52You should not be ashamed of your underbelly. It's quite supple. Yeah.
- 36:57Now, now I want to get shot by a god. I can't
- 37:05that now, Well you don't. You don't like the idea you have?
- 37:09You having trouble visualizing or I'm having no trouble. That's the problem, and
- 37:15you want to come and announce it, knock on my door. No,
- 37:20I'll take I'll take the chart shooting ring ring bell or whatever. Trust me,
- 37:25trust me rise. That's going to be way better that what Trey pulls
- 37:29up from under his underbelly. That's the real jart. Uh. And there's
- 37:37one more nice thing I wanted to share with you, and just this tray
- 37:39might make you feel a little bit better. I'm not sure I'm gonna throw
- 37:42it out there. We'll see. A few weeks ago, we were talking
- 37:45about how spring break doesn't seem to have the same punch that it used to
- 37:49when we were all, you know, in high school and college. Uh.
- 37:53But I think we were wrong. I think we've been mistaken because it
- 37:58actually may be that in some places spring break has been amped up beyond what
- 38:05we are able to comprehend. And what I mean by that is you had,
- 38:12you know, the stuff we did. You had girls gone wild,
- 38:14you had kegstands, and you had MTV beach parties and spring Break and all
- 38:20that stuff. Spring Breakers today they got only fans. And more specifically,
- 38:30you could have gone to spring Break and ended up on only fans forever,
- 38:36because what I'm speaking about specifically is this, for spring Break this year,
- 38:42you had OnlyFans models descending upon Cancun. Because remember how Miami was like,
- 38:50don't come here, we don't want you, blah blah blah. Well,
- 38:52spring Break still happens in other cities, and apparently it's stronger than ever spring
- 38:58break. Spring Break this year featured only fans. Creators Bonnie Blue and Leilani
- 39:02May they made two hundred and fifty thousand dollars by having sex with one hundred
- 39:08and twenty two spring Breakers in Cancun. Wow in a row? Is it
- 39:19one of those meds? I don't think it was in a row. I
- 39:22think they took some breaks, you know, to get some to freshen up.
- 39:30God. I hope so, because you don't want to be number one
- 39:34twenty two and holding your number like oh man, yeah, or one twenty
- 39:38three that they didn't advertise I don't say tough. Yeah you get the only
- 39:49fans, plus you made extra to be the last guy. Yeah. No,
- 39:54seriously, there's a twenty four year old content creator Only Fans creator Annie
- 40:00Blue received a lot of backlash after a stunt she did in Australia last year
- 40:05where she was screwing eighteen year old high school boys for her OnlyFans content,
- 40:09and she and Long with Leilanie May hit up can Kun and said they were
- 40:15so in demand with the boys for spring Break there were lines outside their hotel
- 40:20room on more than one occasion, and in some of the videos you could
- 40:22actually hear people banging on the door wanting to come in. There's so many
- 40:27things wrong with that sentence. Yeah, that sounds about right. Oh,
- 40:38that's just there's so much gross. They needed that ring bell, that ring
- 40:45cam or whatever it is. That's what they needed your behind the scenes content.
- 40:55YU. Look that right there. That's so we were wrong. Spring
- 41:00Break is not dead. It's it's just on a whole different level now than
- 41:05we could comprehend from back in the day. Because I think I think when
- 41:08we were in college, I think there was the occasional porn star that might
- 41:12go to spring Break and film something. But now, I mean it's only
- 41:15fans. I mean this is like, this isn't signing away something for like
- 41:20a major porn production company type of thing. This is like you could be
- 41:25in You could be at the swim up bar with the only fans girls and
- 41:29be like, Hey, you want to come back to the hotel with me
- 41:30and these fifteen other dudes. Yeah, you're right, spring Break is not
- 41:35dead. It's just on a lot of penicillin. Let's not say about the
- 41:40horrors our age that you know we're pulling trains just for fun. They did
- 41:49it for the love women. This is online. I'll be crazy, but
- 42:00I like my horse free. You're in the tree house. Visit us online
- 42:08a treehouseonair dot com. Let's get Jacqueline in the treehouse now. For any
- 42:17and all of your plumbing wants and needs, give her a call just like
- 42:21we do. Two one, four, three, six, eight thirty eight
- 42:22thirty eight. The website Brooks Plumbingtexas dot com. I know you do residential
- 42:28plumbing. Do you also dabble in the business side of plumbing for small businesses
- 42:31and such? Oh? Yeah, I absolutely do, and I feel like
- 42:37we're a great resource because I mean, statistically, just from a numbers game
- 42:42alone, commercial plumbing tends to run a lot more expensive. So if you've
- 42:45got like a smaller commercial building, the car office is not huge by any
- 42:51means, so clearly we can work on our own office. But think like
- 42:52sewer stoppage. The residential sewer cable, depending on what size you have,
- 42:57will maybe run fifty seventy five one hundred feet. I would say, if
- 43:00you have the option to call a residential plumber first, I absolutely would because
- 43:06the cost will be lower. So I did a job for a doctor's office
- 43:09not too long ago, and they said, hey, we've got a stoppage.
- 43:12We came out, we unstopped her, we gave her the bill,
- 43:15and she was like, oh my gosh, this is literally like almost one
- 43:16thousand dollars less than what it would have been had we called a bigger company.
- 43:22So I say, try residential first, and all of us will tell
- 43:24you, hey, I'm sorry, that's out of my wheelhouse. Two on
- 43:27fourth three six eight thirty eight thirty eight. That is the phone number to
- 43:30reach Brooks Plumbing two one fourth, three six eight thirty eight thirty eight or
- 43:32that website Brooks Plumbingtexas dot com. You're in the treehouse. Visit us online
- 43:51at Treehouse OnAir dot com. This segment of the Treehouse is brought to you
- 43:57by Brooks Plumbing. For any and all of your plumber wants. The needs
- 44:00call Jacqueline at Brooks Plumbing two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight.
- 44:05Two one four three six eight thirty eight thirty eight the website Brooks Plumbing
- 44:08Texas dot com. That is Brooks Plumbingtexas dot com. It's actually a pretty
- 44:15good timed plug for plumbing after only fans models screwing one hundred and twenty two
- 44:22spring breakers in the matter of three weeks, making quarter of a million dollars
- 44:27real quick? Does it seem to you like when I read this headline,
- 44:32only fans creators make two hundred and fifty thousand dollars by screwing one hundred twenty
- 44:37two spring breakers in can kun? Is it just me? Or does two
- 44:39hundred fifty thousand dollars seem a little low? It does seem low like is
- 44:46that what the guys were just paying to do it? So? I'm not
- 44:50sure if they did pay or they didn't pay to do it because it's for
- 44:55these models only fans pages. So I think what they were doing is maybe
- 45:00selling individual videos. So I think they're making the money off of the only
- 45:05fan subscription. Yeah, that scales, yeah, versus charging the spring Break
- 45:08dudes. Yeah, because that would be that would be prostitution if they were
- 45:13charging it was it was in Cancun. So's yeah, that is a valid
- 45:20point. Is that I heard it when I said it. But yeah,
- 45:25I think at that point it's not so much that Mexico thinks that it's not
- 45:30because prostitution is legal in Mexico. I have no idea. I just think
- 45:34that the federalies are fine to turn the other cheek as long as they're near
- 45:38the front of the line. Yeah. So I just did some quick math
- 45:45of out of two hundred and fifty thousand dollars made by Bonnie Blue and Leilani
- 45:52May for the one hundred and twenty two spring Breakers they claim to have had
- 45:57sex with, that would come out to two forty nine dollars per spring Breaker
- 46:04if they had charged them directly. You know, that's a that's not bad,
- 46:09that's air. I don't know what the going rate for a hooker,
- 46:12is is that? Yeah? I don't either, but I will say it,
- 46:15at least with if that dollar range, yeah, you'd be getting a
- 46:22high end call girl and with the high end experience. I have no idea.
- 46:29I think if you're spending two thousand dollars on a call girl, I
- 46:31don't think you're holding a number waiting in line like you would be at spring
- 46:36break with the only fans creators. Yeah, okay, so that's the money
- 46:38they generated. Because if that, yeah, if you're charging that like it
- 46:43better like I better be. I better be the one that day. I
- 46:45guess. I don't know how you want to feel special. I don't know.
- 46:50If I don't know if they take shifts, I don't know how it
- 46:52works. Are you pulling a double? I don't know what that means.
- 46:57Are you closing that tonight? I don't know. Hooker Lingo. If anybody
- 47:05out there does, email us and let us know what is But was this
- 47:08you said? This was over like three weeks, that's what they said.
- 47:13I guess they were in can Kun for like three weeks. You do the
- 47:19math. I mean, then you're talking about guys in line, banging down
- 47:22doors and stuff. Because what's that the two of them three a day.
- 47:24Basically, Well, I did watch this Bonnie Blues. I guess she's originally
- 47:30from England, she's lived in Australia and now she's in kN Kun for research
- 47:35purposes. You were watching it was her regular Instagram stuff, thank you very
- 47:39much. Uh, but in it she actually says like she's she's got this
- 47:45inane you know, like her content for her Instagram is an only it's everyday
- 47:52life of an only fans creator. So you don't see her doing any sex
- 47:57stuff on the Instagram stuff on her into a page. Instead, it's her
- 48:00like eating peach rings or what she got at the buffet. Her skincare routine
- 48:06for before and after she does four guys, which in one of the videos
- 48:09she has four guys signing releases, signing releases. Okay, well that's because
- 48:20you know, I've always been interested in the skincare regimen of horrors. I
- 48:28mean, honestly, if we're gonna get someone, if you're gonna get someone
- 48:30to endorse beauty products or skincare rejuvenation products, I mean, you could do
- 48:39worse than a hooker. Really kind to think of what's the worst slot from
- 48:46the goonies. I'm not taking his word on anything except for candy bars,
- 48:54except for candy bars. Candy bars that, yes, I will take his
- 48:57word on candy bars, but not on a skincare regimen. Yeah, I
- 49:00don't know. I'm just worried when if we look at you know, only
- 49:04Dan's that they're just going to find a goat with lipstick on in the shade,
- 49:15the color of the litick. How much it costs smoking a cigarette with
- 49:24four other goat sunning releases behind it. It's really unfortunate that it's come to
- 49:30this trade. But it seems that for the second time in one day,
- 49:36I am forced to tell you, fuck you four goats and a weightward pony
- 50:00waiting in line. How do you know about the pony. I'm serious there
- 50:08there's a pony here as well. I'll show up to you next time you
- 50:14come. Oh god, well, I'm glad Trey feels better because I don't.
- 50:25Be sure to check out the next episode of The Treehouse, uh Friday,
- 50:30number thirty fourth. In the meantime, thanks for hanging out with us
- 50:34inside this episode of the Treehouse. See you next time. See
