- 0:00Hello folks. This is Princess.
- 0:02You are listening to the Millennial Mustard Seed Podcast.
- 0:06Thanks for listening. Don't forget to share with your
- 0:08friends. That's tough.
- 0:11We're in a very tough spot. I think that what we're doing
- 0:14right now is a great benefit and virtue because it's an end
- 0:19around between this whole corrupt informational system,
- 0:23media system. We claim to believe in a God who
- 0:26spoke the universe into existence and literally raised
- 0:29himself from the dead, and yet we're not going to believe that
- 0:34anything else exists in the spirit realm, even though His
- 0:37word tells us that they do. Their bodies weren't permitted
- 0:41to go to sleep like humans do, and they weren't permitted to go
- 0:45to heaven. So they wander the earth, you
- 0:48know, I've seen the eyes turn black to unknown tongues being
- 0:52spoken. These giants would love way up
- 0:56in the Highland. The young Braves, The young men
- 0:59would hide up in the trees and wait for one of these 12 footers
- 1:02to come walking down the bath and.
- 1:04They would jump on them and kill them, drag them back to the
- 1:07village and the village would feast on the body freedom.
- 1:14Then people start to get weapons.
- 1:16They start to get armor, they start to build cities, they
- 1:18start to fortify their cities. Now God looks down and there's
- 1:21violence everywhere. The battle, this war that we are
- 1:25at is not against each other. It's against these
- 1:28principalities and these rulers and these archons in the high
- 1:31places. It's really worthwhile to read
- 1:33the Bible yourself. Fear is one of the primary
- 1:37drivers of mind control, because we have to take every thought
- 1:41captive and resist fear. You're going to have a testimony
- 1:48that is a justice case against the Kingdom of Darkness.
- 2:11Welcome back to the Millennial Mustard Seed.
- 2:13I am your host, Rod, and thank you for being here with me.
- 2:16I am joined by Laura Gallier. She is the author of the
- 2:21Christie award-winning novel series The Delusion, which was
- 2:24released February 20th of this year.
- 2:27The Delusion series is being made into a feature film.
- 2:31It speaks to today's teenagers that face an emotional roller
- 2:35coaster of struggles and raw realities in the adolescence.
- 2:38More than four in 10 youth report that they feel
- 2:41persistently sad or hopeless, and one in five claim they have
- 2:46contemplated suicide. There's also the concern about
- 2:49American teenagers leaning away from religion in exponential
- 2:54numbers and the rise of the interest of the occult and
- 2:57witchcraft. Well, let's just say this is not
- 3:00good for our youth. In Laura's new book, she's
- 3:04weaving together the complexities of mental health
- 3:06amidst the supernatural backdrop that exposes deception with the
- 3:10light of truth, bringing hope and healing to a generation in
- 3:13need. The Christie award-winning
- 3:16series follows fictional high school senior Owen Edmonds in
- 3:19the coming age paranormal thriller as he gains a
- 3:22supernatural vision and discovers that his high school
- 3:24center is the epic of demonic warfare.
- 3:27The main character, Owen has a near death encounter that opens
- 3:31his eyes to the spirit world and he does not have a Christian
- 3:34background. But he learns that there's good
- 3:38and evil this demonic and angelic warfare taking place and
- 3:42he has to take it among himself and and develop the courage and
- 3:47learn who God is. And he learns the power of faith
- 3:50to literally change the atmosphere of the school.
- 3:53Fascinating book that's being produced into a feature film.
- 3:56Laura has her own interesting supernatural life that she
- 4:00shares when she came to Christ. The experience that happened
- 4:04where the enemy tried to stop that at a young age and also a
- 4:07dream she had about Chimera's encrypted's in the eighth grade,
- 4:11which the dream reflects the reality of where she's at today.
- 4:15Producing this movie. Laura is a advocate for children
- 4:20and keeping sexual purity and just building value back into
- 4:24society. A lot of her work is recognized
- 4:27in public schools all across the country.
- 4:29With the I am Worthy program, we get into so much more on this
- 4:33episode. It's really edifying.
- 4:34We go back and forth sharpening each other, sharing ideas, and
- 4:38it was a fun conversation. Quick shout out to FLF
- 4:42Floodlight forever. I play one of his songs at the
- 4:45end of this episode and it is fire.
- 4:48Leave me a five star rating and review on your favorite podcast
- 4:52catcher. If you're on Apple, write me a
- 4:54written review that helps the algorithms, that helps us find
- 4:58one more person just like me and you and you guys can find the
- 5:01link in the details of the show notes to plant a seed to partner
- 5:05with us as we literally walk into Our Calling.
- 5:08I have some ground shattering content yet to be released.
- 5:12So you guys make sure you stick around and share these episodes
- 5:15with your friends, family members, coworkers, with your
- 5:18doctor, and with your pastor. I think it's about time to jump
- 5:23into this episode. I'm ready.
- 5:26Are you guys ready? Let's go.
- 5:42I'm Laura Galler, and welcome to the Millennial Mustard Seed
- 5:45Podcast. Laura, it is an honor to be here
- 5:50with you. I am super excited about the
- 5:54book series that you did and and everything about you.
- 5:57Right now. I'm kind of falling off of my
- 5:58chair as I was looking into your bio and just how God has been
- 6:02using you for such a time as the day that we live in.
- 6:05So thank you for being here with me.
- 6:07Yeah, thank you for having me. And thanks for this awesome
- 6:10program and podcast. So you released a series just
- 6:15recently, I believe it was on the 20th or 27th of February
- 6:18last month, 20th, The Delusion. That's really close to my heart.
- 6:24I haven't read it yet. I'm going to be honest with you.
- 6:26But just recapping and looking at some of the highlights and
- 6:28climactical points about what you're trying to inculcate into
- 6:33this younger generation and even the older generations to get us
- 6:36back to the reality of spiritual warfare and how the Bible's
- 6:40accurate, right? But before we get into all that,
- 6:42just give me some background. Tell us a little bit about how
- 6:45you became the lawyer that you are today.
- 6:47Yeah. Well, again, thank you for
- 6:49having me. I grew up in a single parent
- 6:53home with my mom and with experienced fatherlessness and
- 6:57God and his goodness allowed my good friend's mom in like 3rd or
- 7:004th grade in elementary school. Her mom presented the gospel to
- 7:04me in a really simple way that as a child I could understand.
- 7:08And right there on her bedroom floor, on the shaggy carpet, we
- 7:11grabbed hands and she went to lead me in prayer to receive
- 7:15Christ in the phone ring. And she picked it up and there
- 7:18was no one there. And she hung up and she grabbed
- 7:20my hands and she started to pray and the phone rang a second
- 7:22time. She picked it up.
- 7:24No one was there. She hung it up.
- 7:26And a third time the phone rang. And she finally unplugged it
- 7:30from the wall. So back then, you know, we we
- 7:31plugged into the wall with our phones.
- 7:34But I said, all that to say that there's just been this
- 7:36paranormal element from the beginning.
- 7:39And it's not just me, It's all of us.
- 7:41There is this spiritual warfare aspects, but I knew nothing of
- 7:45that as a young girl and ended up you know, the way I explain
- 7:48it is I I genuinely had a heart for God, but I had a head full
- 7:52of the world. I took my cues from media
- 7:55worldly friends. I was alone a lot because my mom
- 7:58bless her heart, she was working hard to provide for my sister
- 8:01and me. And so again, Long story short,
- 8:04I ended up by junior high just looking for love in all the
- 8:07wrong places. That fatherless wound was just
- 8:11really doing what it does, and that's how I handled it.
- 8:14So promiscuity entered my life in 8th grade and I went down
- 8:18that path and just a lot of broken relationships.
- 8:21Ended up with an unplanned pregnancy at 20 years old, got
- 8:24married to try to fix the situation.
- 8:26That ended in a fairly quick divorce.
- 8:29So there I was in my early 20s, a single mom myself now,
- 8:32wondering how in the world did I get to this place?
- 8:36I never wanted this for my kids. I grew up with this.
- 8:39And that's when I came to understand in this really
- 8:42profound, unforgettable way that God's biblical commandments are
- 8:45for my protection, that he's not trying to test me.
- 8:49He's definitely not trying to ruin my fun.
- 8:51He he literally is trying to give me a blessed and good and
- 8:56fruitful life. So from there I wrote non
- 8:58fiction and started equipping parents and teens about sexual
- 9:03integrity, biblical sexuality. I walked that out, met my
- 9:06husband, we put Christ first in the relationship.
- 9:09We've now been married 23 years. So I thought that's what I do
- 9:12for the rest of my life is talk about biblical sexuality.
- 9:15All that to say that some years ago it it became really apparent
- 9:20that we don't believe in a literal devil.
- 9:22We don't believe that there are demons that seek to still kill
- 9:25and destroy. And so our morality is really
- 9:28just kind of about being a good person, you know, hey, this is
- 9:31the right thing to do. And we're not proceeding.
- 9:33No, we're in a war and Satan attacks our areas of rebellion,
- 9:38disobedience, hurt trauma are are lies that we believe.
- 9:42So that led to wanting to write a book about that and it felt
- 9:46nudged to do fiction. So that's where The Delusion
- 9:50series comes into play. That's kind of the premises of
- 9:54the show, Laura, is what you were just highlighting there
- 9:56that like we all have this testimony, we all have a story
- 10:00and a lot of times we grow up and we're going what happened,
- 10:04no actual direction, right? There's a lot of confusion, a
- 10:07lot of messages out there that are messing up God's flock and
- 10:12we're getting roughshod ran on us right from the gate a lot of
- 10:15the times. So let's talk a little bit about
- 10:18the Delusion series. It this is a three book series,
- 10:21is that correct? It is, and to be clear, it just
- 10:25now was released on Amazon as a three book series that you can
- 10:29just order in one click. But originally The Delusion came
- 10:32out through Tyndale in 2017. It was self published before
- 10:36that. So it's been quite a journey.
- 10:38And then books two and three followed in the subsequent
- 10:40years, but they're just now all packaged together on Amazon.
- 10:45Having the heart to help other people that are in this
- 10:49spiritual battle, but they they don't know it.
- 10:52There's nothing on the news or there's nothing that is in the
- 10:56cultural media systems that would ever lend to the
- 10:59credibility that you have value. You're wonderfully and fearfully
- 11:03created and you're in a battlefield.
- 11:05There's literally a war taking place and a ruthless enemy that
- 11:09is trying to separate you from anointing, from calling, from
- 11:12forgiveness. And so that passion that really
- 11:15came, I'm guessing, from your own experience.
- 11:18But let's talk about, you know, the book a little bit.
- 11:21How has it impacted readers? And where's your heart at with
- 11:26what God has LED you to do with this part time?
- 11:28Sure. I think it'd be helpful just to
- 11:29give a a little explanation of what the book is about in terms
- 11:33of the plot. There's a young man who is
- 11:36growing up fatherless. You could probably see where
- 11:38that theme came from in my own life.
- 11:40And his mother is an alcoholic and he has a really hard life.
- 11:42So he's cynical and he moves to a new high school that has the
- 11:46highest suicide rate in the country.
- 11:49He's a smart guy. He wants to be a doctor.
- 11:51He just wants to graduate and get out of there.
- 11:53But he has his own near death experience and then begins to
- 11:57see these monsters. He has no biblical world view.
- 12:01He doesn't believe in God. He doesn't have that biblical
- 12:04terminology. They're creepers.
- 12:05They end up calling him. I say they because he has this,
- 12:08this friend that goes through this journey with him, this
- 12:10young lady. But Long story short, he becomes
- 12:14the one tasked with convincing his classmates that there really
- 12:18is something real here. And at the same time, he's
- 12:21battling with his own sanity and he's asking really hard
- 12:24questions about God. Why, if there's these, he calls
- 12:28them Watchmen, but these angels, why don't they show up more?
- 12:31Why does God allow bad things to happen?
- 12:33Why? Why isn't God doing more?
- 12:35These real world questions that we get to walk out and journey
- 12:39in an authentic way with Owen, that's his name.
- 12:42Owen Edmonds is the main character.
- 12:44And so the whole intent was to ask the hard questions, Not to
- 12:48be preaching at people, but to gently and lovingly make a case
- 12:54for the reality of God, for how personal he is.
- 12:57He's not caught up in the traditions and trappings of
- 13:01religion. He wants a meaningful
- 13:02relationship. But again, even just saying that
- 13:05can sound so preachy to certain listeners.
- 13:07So to go through Owen's journey across those three books, and I
- 13:11must say there's more to come in the series, books four and five
- 13:14for sure. To travel through that, it it
- 13:16just invites us to consider the real world.
- 13:20First of all, that's unseen and secondly, how all this plays out
- 13:23in our everyday lives in schools and young people and adults.
- 13:28It's really sounds like you're drawing from, you know, life
- 13:31experiences and incorporating that into the character to get
- 13:34the reader to fall in love with the character, right?
- 13:36Because you got to kind of have, you know, this realistic
- 13:39approach where they got to have some quirks and some strong
- 13:42points and there has to be some adversaries that bring the best
- 13:44out of them, right? One of the things you have
- 13:46written here is, you know, teenagers are facing emotional
- 13:49roller coasters of the struggle, of the rawness and reality of
- 13:54dealing with persistent sadness. Have you seen any turn around
- 13:59with with readers that have been encouraged or changed through
- 14:03what you're presenting? Yes, yes.
- 14:06I don't think I could have persevered in this journey
- 14:08without that. As a matter of fact, on my
- 14:10social media. And then we'll go over that and
- 14:12how to spell my name. Laura Gallier GALLIER.
- 14:16I'm on Instagram, Tiktok and all those platforms.
- 14:18We are getting ready to release a video testimonial by a young
- 14:22man who is older now, but when he read the book in 7th grade,
- 14:27he was dealing with suicidal thoughts.
- 14:28But that perspective shift that he was not only in a war, but
- 14:32that he's the prize, that he has so much worth and value that
- 14:35there's a fight going on over him, it changed the trajectory
- 14:40of his life. And so that's just one example.
- 14:43I think it's also important to say that while I was working on
- 14:47these books and here I'm championing, you know, the idea
- 14:50that these suicidal thoughts are rooted in lies.
- 14:52Ultimately from the Evil 1, I had an explosion of mental and
- 14:59emotional turmoil, just all this childhood suppressed trauma.
- 15:02It was on a specific day, April 8th, 2019 came exploding onto my
- 15:06life. It was very physical and that my
- 15:09chemicals went crazy, which is what happens when those cortisol
- 15:12skyrocket and we're full of fear.
- 15:14I realized I had some very wrong beliefs.
- 15:18So that was, that was psychology piece and then on top of it, it
- 15:21was very demonically charged. I could feel this evil and being
- 15:25tempted myself at here I am writing about this, being
- 15:28tempted myself to take my life. So I said that to say that this
- 15:32is not just theological or clinical for me.
- 15:35I walked through that. It was not quick.
- 15:37It took about four years before I even felt comfortable and
- 15:42normal. I learned that as Christians we
- 15:45can be really trite with people, however well meaning and say
- 15:49things like, oh, just choose joy or you know, if you had faith,
- 15:52you know faith will get you through this.
- 15:54And certainly you know, choosing joy and faith are a part of the
- 15:57equation, but it really is this nurturing process from God.
- 16:02I can get into all of that if we want to, but suffice that to
- 16:05say, it's the fruit of my own life and getting victory in
- 16:09these areas. And then, yes, the testimonies
- 16:12continue to come in, everything from healing marriages to young
- 16:16people saying, hey, every time I start to feel depressed, I grab
- 16:19this novel because I need that perspective.
- 16:21It's meant to point people to the word.
- 16:23So you know, toward the Bible, what we mean when we say word.
- 16:26It's meant for that, but it's just a great tool that can help
- 16:31remind us of what's really going on.
- 16:34That Ephesians 6 message That we're not wrestling against
- 16:37flesh and blood, but these forces of wickedness in unseen
- 16:40high places. Yeah, I can relate so much to
- 16:43that. I mean, I'm just jumping out of
- 16:45the seams over here as I'm listening to you speak because I
- 16:48had a near death encounter. I didn't have a biblical or
- 16:51church upbringing, you know, and I have dealt with suicidal
- 16:55ideations, but it it's real, right?
- 16:59And we have this entertainment culture that they do not want to
- 17:04talk about these topics. And the numbers grow and we just
- 17:07see the decay of this younger generation.
- 17:10And I really feel your heart just and and the way you're
- 17:15presenting it, you know, because not everybody wants to be
- 17:17smacked with a Bible. A lot of the times people are
- 17:19culture shocked. It's like coming out of a dark
- 17:22room and the lights on and you're like, ah, turn that light
- 17:25down. It's so bright.
- 17:26But everybody who's in that room where the lights already on, it
- 17:29doesn't seem that drastically bright to them.
- 17:32So there has to be some transition.
- 17:35And I think it's genius to write, you know, these stories
- 17:38that are rooted in faith and overcoming these challenges and
- 17:43and the way that you laid out the main character challenged
- 17:47with bringing the reality of this demonic and spirit world,
- 17:50that's real, you know, and he's wrestling with his own big
- 17:54questions. It hits so close to home for me.
- 17:57More of those stories need to be talked about and heard today,
- 17:59especially through writings, through movies and through
- 18:02podcasting. You went through all of this
- 18:04yourself. You know you dealt with some
- 18:06suicidal ideations. So you're an experiencer, right?
- 18:09You have this passion where you understand, hey, this is the
- 18:12cost, right? God is going to use me to reach
- 18:14people. I have experienced it now
- 18:16myself. Where do you find yourself
- 18:18sitting today knowing what you know now and and how do you get
- 18:22that point across to people that may be on the teeter totter of?
- 18:26Is any of this true? Believe it or not, it starts
- 18:29back in the eighth grade. If I can tell you just a quick
- 18:31story. There I was again, just heart
- 18:35for God, but not not living it out, head full of the world,
- 18:38doing all kinds of deviant, honestly very deviant things.
- 18:41And I have this dream. And in this dream, they're these
- 18:45half human, half like horse, like dog, like creatures.
- 18:48And they're dressed in bow ties and they're, they look cute and
- 18:51it's a movie set and there's parents letting their kids pet
- 18:56these creatures. And in the dream, I know these
- 18:59are demons and I feel so compelled to warn parents and
- 19:04children and students that you, you think they're safe but
- 19:07you're not. Well, sure enough, right.
- 19:09Then the director comes charging at me in this dream.
- 19:12And I know in the dream that is Satan, not just a demon like
- 19:16that is the one who fell. That is Satan himself.
- 19:19And he is chasing after me. And I know he wants to kill me.
- 19:23I run from him. I end up in a trailer like you
- 19:25see on set. Keep in mind, I'd never been on
- 19:27a movie set in my life. He's closing in.
- 19:29Finally. He corners me and in the dream
- 19:32I'm like, this is it. I I'm going to be brutally
- 19:34murdered. I can feel how much he hates me
- 19:36and all of a sudden it's not that I made a decision.
- 19:39It's almost like I'm watching myself turn around and I'm
- 19:41holding in the air what I described as an eighth grader as
- 19:45a sword with a line down the middle, which is a double edged
- 19:48sword. I was so clueless, I didn't even
- 19:50know that was a type of the word of God.
- 19:53But now that director, who'd been, you know, blonde hair and
- 19:56handsome, he's this old man shrouded in black.
- 19:59And when he sees the sword, not me, the sword, he looks up and
- 20:03gasped and cries real tears, real tears.
- 20:06And in the dream, I'm like, Oh my gosh, he's so fragile.
- 20:09He comes across so intimidating. He's so fragile.
- 20:12And I lowered the sword, and he shrank and shrank and shrank,
- 20:15and disappeared at my feet. Why did I tell you that story
- 20:19where my worst nightmare became Satan's worst nightmare?
- 20:21Because we have been working for years on the feature film of the
- 20:24delusion that became my life calling.
- 20:27We could have made the movie by now if we wanted to do low
- 20:30budget or small scale, but the vision God has put in our hearts
- 20:33as you only get one chance we're going to do this right?
- 20:35So where I found myself sitting right now is working to produce
- 20:39a series of movies starting with the delusion.
- 20:42So that's huge. That's been amazing and exciting
- 20:45and up and down and and learn a lot of the lessons the hard way
- 20:48of the movie industry. I also want to mention that out
- 20:51of this whole journey came a program called I Am Worthy.
- 20:54It's a mental, emotional Wellness and character building
- 20:57for students. It's attended to the public
- 20:59school. It's based on 21 affirmations of
- 21:02worth that quite frankly, I needed to know.
- 21:04It was part of my healing. I worked with doctors,
- 21:07counselors, people that are way smarter than me, and we came up
- 21:11with these lists of 21 affirmations that if we believe
- 21:14these things about ourselves, we tend to be mentally and
- 21:17emotionally resilient. If we don't believe or or some
- 21:20of them we don't, we tend to be struggling mentally and
- 21:23emotionally. All that information is at
- 21:26worthyprogram.com, but I said that to say I am working on that
- 21:30in schools, and that is what you could call really that
- 21:33nonfiction side to this message. And whether we've come to know
- 21:37Christ or not, it doesn't change the fact that we have priceless
- 21:41intrinsic worth. And when we don't believe that,
- 21:44that's where Satan attacks. And you can imagine if you don't
- 21:48have a father or your parents have let you down, you've been
- 21:51wounded. We tend to project that on God.
- 21:54Someone says Heavenly Father. And we're picturing the man who
- 21:58cheated and walked out or whatever bad thing happened, the
- 22:00man who hit me or the man who ignored me, whatever that is.
- 22:04And so my heart is that this generation would know the truth
- 22:08about the nature of God. The Bible says in him is light
- 22:12and no darkness at all. We can't even fathom that
- 22:17there's a being that has not one selfish or ulterior motive
- 22:21effort. I mean, we don't know anyone
- 22:23like that. And yet he's not good.
- 22:25And he's wanting to reveal himself as a loving, protective,
- 22:29caring, safe father who places immense, priceless value on each
- 22:35one of us. Let let's talk a little bit more
- 22:38about this emotional Wellness and character building program
- 22:41that you have for students You're you're working to get
- 22:43this in public schools, is that the idea?
- 22:46It is and there's also it can be done in the home, so there's you
- 22:50can you can buy it and and watch it yourself.
- 22:52It's video based. When we are being raised right,
- 22:56like the Bible says, raise a child in the way that they
- 22:58should go. And when they grow old, they
- 22:59won't depart from it. But we do have a society that
- 23:03has no comprehension of the word of God or it.
- 23:06I think it's beyond rejecting it.
- 23:08A lot of the times I see a preparation in the culture's
- 23:11heart that they actually have the audacity to go to war with
- 23:14God. I think that's on the horizon,
- 23:16that that's the depth of the darkness that we are up against.
- 23:22But like you said, the light, right?
- 23:23And this is what's profound about what you're doing.
- 23:26And what I'm doing and many other people in these areas is
- 23:29that as experiencers, you know, when you come across somebody
- 23:34who's experienced, you know, whether it's demonic attacks,
- 23:37sleep paralysis, just the mental fatigue of just all of this
- 23:42crazy chaotic things that are going on in this world.
- 23:45When you shine some light into them by slowing down and
- 23:48actually spending time with people meeting the need, that's
- 23:52when it becomes genuine. You know, I actually wrote one
- 23:54of these little quotes in the book I released just recently.
- 23:58And it's when you're in danger and I get closer to you rather
- 24:02than run away. That's when trust is formed,
- 24:04right? And it's like we need more of
- 24:06those voices. We need more people that are
- 24:08willing to go into these places where it's kind of like the
- 24:11trenches, it's the gutter. But this is the heart of Yeshua.
- 24:15This is the heart of Jesus, right?
- 24:17Leaving the 99 to find the lost one while we find ourselves in a
- 24:21country where it feels like 99 are lost.
- 24:26So we need a lot of workmen out there in the field.
- 24:28So I I just can't express how moved I am by hearing what
- 24:33you're doing where your heart's AT and and you're attacking from
- 24:36so many levels. For the Kingdom of light to be
- 24:38able to Pierce into the public schools, you know saying it
- 24:42needs to be present in the home. Bringing this format of of
- 24:45writing to challenge the fear mongering narrative to show in
- 24:49the midst of these trials and fears that faith and hope can be
- 24:53birthed out of that. And I think that's just
- 24:55phenomenal. Well thank you.
- 24:57And you know that voice of religion that is alive and well
- 25:00on the earth that just drives home our shame all the more.
- 25:03It tells us to clean up and look the part it's that fake it till
- 25:06you make it mentality. But God the Father is saying
- 25:10come to me as you are. And we think, well this is just
- 25:12too dirty. That's been the the blessing of
- 25:14talking about sexual integrity. We call it biblical Sexuality is
- 25:19letting people know because sometimes our our biggest shame
- 25:21is tied to the area of things that have happened to us or
- 25:24things we've done in sexuality. And getting the chance to tell
- 25:27people that God is not only is he approachable, his arms are
- 25:31wide open and he is calling you to him.
- 25:34At the same time, the word occult means secret or hidden,
- 25:39and it is not. We know that witchcraft has
- 25:42become trendy, and you can imagine if you're in junior high
- 25:45and you're feeling left out, which so many of us do in junior
- 25:48high, and I'm told that you can cast this spell or you can wear
- 25:52this crystal, it's going to make people like you.
- 25:54That seems like a form of empowerment, but it's a demonic
- 25:58bait and switch. So there really is a need, a
- 26:01desperate need, especially when it comes to the supernatural,
- 26:05the paranormal, to help young people and adults.
- 26:08It's a lot of adults that are into the witchcraft right now to
- 26:12recognize the difference between the Angel of light and the real
- 26:15light. And one of them is performance
- 26:17based and bait and switch promises.
- 26:20One thing gives us another. And whereas God, his Kingdom is
- 26:23all about authenticity and genuineness and honesty.
- 26:26And in my lowest valley I remember the Lord saying to me
- 26:29my only part because I was so weak.
- 26:31I mean I I could hardly even pray and have faith.
- 26:35I was just so beat down mentally and emotionally and attacked.
- 26:37And he told me my job was to be authentic.
- 26:41Just be authentic. What's your feeling, what you're
- 26:43going through, what you're doubting, what you're
- 26:44questioning? Just telling me that is so
- 26:47opposite of religion and so that's what young people need
- 26:51and that's what we all need to know.
- 26:53Humanity needs to know the difference between religion and
- 26:56that real relationship God's after.
- 27:00Yeah, very well said. And it's like this false reality
- 27:03overlay, right, Laura? Where it I mean, there's a
- 27:06million messages and signals, but when we look at the
- 27:09frequencies that are out there, we start to look at the
- 27:11poisonings in the food and in the air and in the culture and
- 27:14in the language. It's no surprise that the enemy
- 27:17is exactly who the Bible says he is.
- 27:19He came to lie, to kill and destroy.
- 27:21And unfortunately, a lot of the times people don't want to wake
- 27:25up to that reality until it knocks on their door.
- 27:28But we have this opportunity to be the hands and the feet.
- 27:31And you know, you mentioned in your lowest valley, we've gotten
- 27:36feedback over the years where people have reached out and
- 27:38said, you know, I heard this episode at the right place at
- 27:42the right time where you know, you can hear something 100
- 27:45times. But sometimes the anointing on
- 27:47one person saying what someone else may have heard 100 times,
- 27:50it clicks and makes sense for them.
- 27:52That's why I believe every single broadcast that we do here
- 27:55is edifying, eye opening, encouraging and just shedding
- 27:58the light in these dark days that we live in.
- 28:01So let's talk a little bit more about, I'm still kind of
- 28:04dwelling on this dream that you had in 8th grade.
- 28:08You know you talked about like these creatures, right?
- 28:10And you know kids can't see it. There's no spiritual
- 28:12discernment. They're looking from the
- 28:14physical realm only. But God was giving you this
- 28:17discerning spirit and showing you in a dream the reality of
- 28:21the multi layered functions of truth that were taking place in
- 28:25the spirit realm. I just want to dive back into
- 28:27that. Yeah.
- 28:29I mean, again, sometimes we think of God as not being
- 28:32emotional, but he relates to emotion.
- 28:35He gave us emotions. Our emotions are meant to bear
- 28:37witness with the truth and recoil from the lie.
- 28:40And the nature of deception, whether it's the way we feel
- 28:42about ourselves or the way we are perceiving as a situation,
- 28:45is for our emotions to think something's true.
- 28:49You know, there's a way that seems right, but it leads to
- 28:51destruction. And so that, yeah, the dream
- 28:53there was such a compassion. It wasn't my compassion.
- 28:56It's not like I'm some good person.
- 28:58It was the compassion of God for the lost and for those who are
- 29:04deceived in our befriending evil.
- 29:07And we can befriend evil literally through demonic, you
- 29:11know, occultic rituals. Or it can be that addiction.
- 29:14It can be that pornography, that drug, that friend, literal
- 29:18friend that you know is not going the direction you're
- 29:21supposed to go. And God comes to us.
- 29:24He doesn't just sit around, you know, floating in outer space.
- 29:27That's how I used to picture him.
- 29:28He comes to us and that's what that dream was.
- 29:30It was it was him stepping onto that entertainment platform
- 29:35where the devil has had such rule and reign in saying I'm
- 29:38taking over, I'm, you know, your your jurisdictions up here, my
- 29:43children are stepping into this space and it's so we can be a
- 29:47voice of truth and hope as safe and secure voice, which is God's
- 29:51voice. And it just makes me think of
- 29:54Colossians 2. You know, it talks about Jesus
- 29:57disarming the rulers and authorities and putting them to
- 30:00an open shame. That's right.
- 30:02And we're fighting from a place of victory.
- 30:05That's right. I I just love that reminder that
- 30:09God is working in and through us to cause his will to come about.
- 30:12He's the author and the finisher of her faith.
- 30:14So it really does take us off this high horse.
- 30:17It allows for the pride to fold and fall low so that we can go
- 30:21low and remain in humility where God now can.
- 30:25What does the scripture say, Laura?
- 30:26In our weaknesses, power is made best known.
- 30:29And I really do feel like that's why we go through the the trials
- 30:32and all of these dark events and God has never left us, He has
- 30:37never forsaken us. But it also there's this process
- 30:40of refining and it's just just fascinating to hear what God has
- 30:46you doing today and what you've been through.
- 30:48I think stirring up the testimonies is so important.
- 30:51So let me ask you, what is your perspective on the Nephilim, for
- 30:56example, chimeras, you know, the the mixturing of animals and
- 31:00humans. We even see this stuff happening
- 31:02today in the scientific realm where they're oh, we mixed a pig
- 31:05with this or we're growing organs inside of a pig.
- 31:08I just, I just have to ask, what are your thoughts on all that?
- 31:11Yeah, you know, we're made in God's image and likeness, so it
- 31:14would be just like the enemy to try to destroy that, you know,
- 31:17one way or another. As far as the actual nephews, I
- 31:20don't know. I've studied it.
- 31:23I've looked at it from everything.
- 31:24And I like to know I I like, I'm one of those people.
- 31:27I'm a critical thinker. I like to ask why God's not
- 31:29afraid of our wise. But I, I kind of, I go back and
- 31:32forth on exactly what the implications are.
- 31:35But at the end of the day, we know that we are not meant to be
- 31:38altered genetically. And we are, we are fearfully and
- 31:43wonderfully made. And when man plays God, bad
- 31:47things ultimately happen. And I'm not the authority on
- 31:51where that line is with these, you know, different in virtual
- 31:54you know, there's fertilization techniques and things.
- 31:56And I, I, I wouldn't even be prepared to speak on that.
- 31:59But I can just say that when we're altering human DNA, that
- 32:05is playing God, and it is not of God.
- 32:08And so we definitely want to watch for those those things and
- 32:12recognize them as a distortion of what God already made.
- 32:16So you talk about teens facing this, the real battle being the
- 32:20suicide, right from like ages. I think it was like 14 to like
- 32:2324. You know, we have this percent
- 32:25percentage of teens taking their own life.
- 32:28This is the second leading cause of death for young adults.
- 32:31How did we get here right? And you know, bringing the
- 32:34gospel, are you seeing a change or a difference with this?
- 32:38Knowing that you wrestle with it, went through it yourself
- 32:41through the power of prayer and shining the light, exposing the
- 32:45darkness, compartmentalizing that darkness, labeling it,
- 32:48knowing what it is, not participating with it.
- 32:51Do you think that these numbers can turn around?
- 32:53To answer your question, how did we get here?
- 32:55There's more than one way. There was multiple things
- 32:57happening at once. For starters, we've learned for
- 33:00decades now in science class that it's unintellectual to
- 33:03believe that there's a creator. And so that makes me a cosmic
- 33:07coincidence. And then you have political
- 33:10agendas that say a life is a life in the womb if the mother
- 33:13wants it, if the mother doesn't want it, it's not a life, it's
- 33:16an inconvenience and it belongs in the trash.
- 33:18And I'm not trying to say that insensitive.
- 33:20That can be just such a sensitive issue for those who
- 33:24have have walked that path. I'm just saying the mixed signal
- 33:27that we we don't have significance, that we are cosmic
- 33:30coincidence. Then you add to that the
- 33:32breakdown of the family God meant for a mom and a dad to
- 33:37love him, love each other and love their children.
- 33:40And it creates the security and it just transcends words when we
- 33:44are shown that kind of love and security.
- 33:46And as someone who you know had divorced parents and again I've
- 33:48walked through a divorce, it is, it is very damaging on the soul.
- 33:53So you add that to it. Then you've got voices, you
- 33:56know, these influencers online that are touting priorities that
- 34:00are supposed to make us happy, that do anything but
- 34:03overemphasis on appearances, social media likes puts the
- 34:07right number to our popularity when we're young and when you
- 34:11know, we really are wired for community and always say it's
- 34:13it's not bad that we want to fit in.
- 34:15It's from God. We were made to be tribes and
- 34:17nations. It's just it becomes so toxic
- 34:20when we're not accepted, when we're not shown approval and
- 34:24we're not included. So when you put all that
- 34:27together, you can see how a young person today feels lost
- 34:32according to their identity, their very purpose for life.
- 34:35And I like to say this not to be trite, but in all of my
- 34:39pondering over this and my almost almost 5 decades right
- 34:45that I have been on this earth, I have decided that our number
- 34:48one purpose in life is to love God back.
- 34:52I mean literally, to love God back.
- 34:54And when we know him and love him, we naturally make his love
- 34:59known. And he can know us.
- 35:02We know this. We can know facts, right?
- 35:04I mean, God knows how many hairs we have on our head.
- 35:06We know certain celebrity names. We know who they are, but we
- 35:10don't know them experientially. God wants us to know him
- 35:14relationally, experientially, and some of us hear that it's
- 35:17like this wall goes up, like, yeah, other people or the world,
- 35:21but not me. God can't possibly want to know
- 35:25me. And he is saying, yes, I
- 35:28absolutely do. And if you haven't been shown
- 35:31that from parents or caregivers, or if life has tried to paint a
- 35:34different picture of your worth, it's a lie.
- 35:37It's a lie. And I do believe that God is
- 35:40working among young people and setting the record straight.
- 35:43I do believe that in this hour. I agree with you and you have a
- 35:49quote here. Young people need a holistic
- 35:51spirit, soul and body approach to mental emotional health
- 35:55that's honest about the reality of evil.
- 35:58I couldn't agree more. You know, I really just, I think
- 36:02that holistic approach is really underlooked and you know,
- 36:05highlighting that there's there's natural foods that can
- 36:09be our medicine. Now I'm not insinuating that a a
- 36:12medical doctor is wrong every time, but I think that we're too
- 36:15persuaded to just have a quick fix for the side effects of
- 36:21whatever we're going through and not getting to the root of it.
- 36:24And what you're doing is multi layered in the sense where you
- 36:27know what, let's get to the root of it.
- 36:28Because it all starts with one of the key things you said a
- 36:31minute ago. God is truth, and if we believe
- 36:35in His truth and and we don't reject Him from the gate, it's
- 36:39much easier for us to understand who we are, get comforted by His
- 36:43truth, and find our place. Exactly, Exactly.
- 36:47And if you consider and study, I do have my degree in psychology.
- 36:51I've always just been interested naturally in psychology.
- 36:55Something that is not talked about very much is there really
- 36:58is this key culprit in nearly all mental and emotional
- 37:02turmoil, whatever the diagnosis, OCD or panic attacks, whatever
- 37:07it is. And it's fear.
- 37:09It's fear. Now sometimes we can find, wow,
- 37:12you have a vitamin D deficiency, for example, and it's causing
- 37:15your chemicals to be off. We can start there for sure.
- 37:18But a lot of these fears are tied to lies that we believe.
- 37:20Like, I am afraid that I am not worthy of love.
- 37:23That is a fear. I'm afraid that I'm going to be
- 37:26abandoned. I'm afraid that I'm going to be
- 37:28exposed as not good enough. These are a lot of times
- 37:31subconscious and and we haven't even, you know, recognized that
- 37:35that's a fear we're operating out of.
- 37:37And so if all we do is turn around and prescribe meds, it is
- 37:41going to adjust those chemicals. Sometimes it works, sometimes it
- 37:44makes things worse. But it's not going to address
- 37:47the fear. And fear is deeply spiritual.
- 37:50If you think about how blood entices sharks, fear draws the
- 37:55enemy to us. It is the atmosphere of hell is
- 37:59fear That is Satan's currency. And so God believe it or not,
- 38:03sometimes we think it's faith that drives out fear.
- 38:06Certainly faith is part of the formula, but Scripture says it's
- 38:09love. It's his love that drives out
- 38:12fear. So for every fear we have, God
- 38:15has an assurance that's what we need, not empty promises.
- 38:18We need an assurance that his love is going to offset that
- 38:24fear. For example, if I have a deep
- 38:25fear like I did, of being abandoned, God's never going to
- 38:31ban me even if everybody else. If my mother and father forsake
- 38:34me, the scriptures say the Lord will hold me close, so He wants
- 38:39to remedy fear. And that's where healing
- 38:42happens, mentally and emotionally.
- 38:43That's where we go. You know what?
- 38:44I may have been diagnosed as borderline personality disorder,
- 38:48but as I've overcome fear, which is a process, I am no longer,
- 38:53you know, I no longer have OCDI and the world will say you can't
- 38:57get healed of some of these, but that's because the world doesn't
- 39:00understand the spiritual realm and they're just not even open
- 39:04to God. I'm talking about just
- 39:06mainstream as a whole. And so man, it's life changing
- 39:10when we realize and and and start to address and tackle the
- 39:14fear in our lives. Absolutely.
- 39:16I couldn't agree more. A really good friend of the
- 39:18show, Doctor Laura Sanger. She also has a degree in
- 39:21psychology. And we've talked about fear and
- 39:24you know how that can lower the immune system.
- 39:26And if we just think at the basic level, if we're fearful,
- 39:30we're subjected to all types of low frequency.
- 39:34Like the Bible says, do not fear, do not be afraid.
- 39:37Look at the placebo effect and medical study.
- 39:39Right You could get a sugar pill, but because you believe
- 39:42the doctor's giving it to you and it's for arthritis, it's
- 39:45going to bring down the swelling and inflammation in the joints.
- 39:49Your placebo effect can trick you into healing your body
- 39:52yourself. So if we're surrounded by fear,
- 39:56of course. Yeah, it's it's a decay, man.
- 40:00And you, you said it, perfect love casteth out fear.
- 40:03Well what is that perfect love that's in?
- 40:05Jesus you guys, we know who the perfect love is.
- 40:08We know that we're given access to armor.
- 40:11As Ephesian talks about, we have this armor that we can put on.
- 40:15You know the enemy recycles, Laura.
- 40:16These messages out there in the world over and over again, fear
- 40:20mongering. Well, we're going to recycle the
- 40:22truth and the word over and over again.
- 40:25Reminding people not to be fearful, not to be afraid.
- 40:28Going to comment just on that naturopathic approach where not
- 40:32everything is a sickness that that can't be defeated.
- 40:36Because he who's spiritual, we can discern all things
- 40:38spiritual, right? So a lot of this stuff I agree
- 40:41with you. There's a spiritual root cause
- 40:44of fear and rejection. Yes.
- 40:47And there's over 360 verses in the Bible that tell us not to
- 40:50fear. But they also tell us why most
- 40:53of the time the commandment not to fear is coupled with for I am
- 40:57with you. That's the game changer.
- 41:00You could even say it like this if God wasn't with us.
- 41:03Yeah. Be afraid, right?
- 41:05I mean, there's a lot to fear because he is with us.
- 41:09And again, some of us, we're we're trying to grasp it.
- 41:12We have head knowledge, maybe we even have doctrinal knowledge,
- 41:16But life experiences and lack of faith and you name it, We're
- 41:20just having a hard time internalizing that or even
- 41:23feeling worthy of that. Which, of course, biblically
- 41:25speaking, we're not worthy. But that's what Jesus does,
- 41:29right? He makes us worthy.
- 41:30He's the one who who died for our sins and makes us worthy,
- 41:33allows us to stand pure before God.
- 41:36And so if your listeners are hearing anything, let them hear
- 41:38me say that God wants to be close to you.
- 41:41He is not repulsed by any of us. We've never done anything that
- 41:45has caused him to love us less or disqualify us from receiving
- 41:51his son, and we can never be good enough.
- 41:54That is so intuitive to say. I know what I'll do.
- 41:56I'll I'll go out and serve in the church or give to charity.
- 41:59I'm going to be a good person. Now you try.
- 42:02It's not going to be long before those selfish motives that are
- 42:05part of that sin nature come up. It's not about behaving better.
- 42:09It really is about a relationship.
- 42:11And it's amazing how through that love relationship, we,
- 42:13like, look up one day and go, you know what, I haven't had the
- 42:16same sinful urges I used to wrestle with.
- 42:19It's amazing how God's love can heal us in ways that we're not
- 42:24even reaching. For those old counterfeits.
- 42:26That's what sin is. It's a counterfeit.
- 42:28It's meeting some kind of need, or we wouldn't be doing it, but
- 42:31it's it's meeting a legitimate need in an illegitimate
- 42:34consequential way. That's really what the devil
- 42:38does. The devil's not a creator in my
- 42:39opinion. He parallels what God does.
- 42:42He likes to come in, distort, corrupt, flip things around and
- 42:46mimic what God does. You know, sin is fun for a short
- 42:49season, but it's a short season. So let me ask you the power of
- 42:55prayer just even in like, your own life and having this
- 42:58relationship with the Lord, it's so much more than just, oh, show
- 43:01up at church, clock in, get your little sticker for showing up on
- 43:05Wednesday or Sunday. I mean, this is a lifestyle,
- 43:08right? We're living in a battle.
- 43:10We know that the word is truth and the power of prayer.
- 43:13I just want you to share, you know, a story or just comment on
- 43:16the power of prayer in your own life.
- 43:17Sure. Well, as a child, remember, I
- 43:20had received Christ. I I had the Holy Spirit.
- 43:23My my soul was a mess and needed mine renewal.
- 43:26But I would feel drawn as a child to go out into my backyard
- 43:31and that's where I would talk to God.
- 43:33I didn't grow up in church. And I have, you know, really
- 43:36positive things to say about church.
- 43:39We need a faith community that's healthy and and good for us.
- 43:42But at the same time, what I didn't have was all this
- 43:46tradition put on me. And so I learned to hear from
- 43:48God and that's what I want to say about prayer.
- 43:51Prayer is 2 way communication. We go to him.
- 43:54We can be just as authentic. We can let him know I'm you
- 43:57know, I'm frustrated. I don't understand this guy.
- 43:59We can ask him questions, but then there's something to be
- 44:02said for taking a pen and paper usually helps.
- 44:05Sit there with whatever spiral piece of paper and listen and
- 44:08learn to hear his voice. Everything he tells us is going
- 44:12to line up with his word. It can be hard at first for like
- 44:16was that my voice or his voice? It does take continual practice.
- 44:20And then looking at what we're hearing, is it line up with the
- 44:22word. If we have other godly people
- 44:24who know the word, they can help guide us.
- 44:26And certainly there are resources out there about
- 44:28hearing from God. But we live in such a noisy
- 44:31culture with all of our music and TV and screens.
- 44:33And so a lot of times, right when we go to pray, man, our
- 44:36whole body, talk about that spirit, soul, body, our body
- 44:39will start jonesing for noise. We're not trained in being quiet
- 44:44and being calm. And God has this very calm.
- 44:46I'm going to use the word energy about him.
- 44:48He does, you know, have a personality and he's very calm
- 44:52and he's full of peace. And when we're used to being
- 44:54hectic and frantic and stressed, it can be this new thing to
- 44:58learn to come into his rhythm. But talking to God, you know
- 45:02about anything, all things on the go, absolutely.
- 45:06But I would just big piece of advice would be to set aside
- 45:09time. My phone is away from me, media
- 45:12is off. I'm alone.
- 45:13I don't feel like someone's listening to me, you know, which
- 45:16would make me self-conscious. I can be completely authentic
- 45:19with God. And then after you pour your
- 45:21guts out to him and tell him everything and ask him for his
- 45:25help and everything you need, listen, listen and see if you
- 45:28won't get even a mental picture or one word.
- 45:33Yeah, it's so powerful. It just makes me think, you
- 45:36know, I was listening to an audio journal from doctor Chuck
- 45:39Missler recently, and he says if you've ever questioned anything
- 45:43going on, you have a prayer life to keep a secret journal that
- 45:47you never show to anybody else. So you can be as authentic as
- 45:49you possibly can be, knowing hopefully there's there's never
- 45:53a reader. And he talked about writing in
- 45:55that and then waiting in that quiet place for God's response.
- 46:00And that needs to be promoted. We need a billboard that
- 46:03literally says that, you know, turn off your cell phone, get
- 46:06back into prayer, get into that quiet place.
- 46:08Because I know a lot of the times the Spirit will move
- 46:11through that still small voice with me.
- 46:13And then there's other times where I get a tugging.
- 46:15It's like a fire dwelling up inside of me and things will
- 46:19just come out of my mouth sometimes.
- 46:20And I'm like, well, God, you wanted me to say that.
- 46:22Not all the time. A lot of the times it's you know
- 46:25me thinking out loud, but God does move in these ways.
- 46:27But it comes with that relationship.
- 46:29So I love the way that you depicted that.
- 46:32And even as a young child, like your first experience with
- 46:35prayer is going out into the authentic creation.
- 46:39We spend so much time in fake light and fake environments.
- 46:45Grounding is back on the horizon.
- 46:47You know, Doctor Manzo has been on for a three-part series thus
- 46:50far. You know, we've been talking
- 46:51about some of the more fringe things.
- 46:53You know, Doctor Robert Rodesh has been on.
- 46:55We've talked about, you know, energy and healing frequencies.
- 46:58And a lot of times people like, oh, that's new age, what are you
- 47:00talking about? And it's like, I think there's a
- 47:02religious spirit that's boxing people in because it's the glory
- 47:06of God to conceal a matter. But but it's the duty of these
- 47:09Princess and kings to seek this stuff out.
- 47:11And I really do think that we're on this cusp, Laura, where we're
- 47:15going to start to see a generation of people understand,
- 47:18you know what, God, I'm going to seek him for myself in spirit
- 47:22and in truth, I'm going to allow people to speak right.
- 47:25Like pastors still have a role. We're not saying disown the
- 47:28church. We are the church.
- 47:29We're the body. It's not a building, it's the
- 47:32body. But people are going to actually
- 47:33start to seek on a level where it is so genuine and authentic
- 47:37that we're going to have a generation of Joshua and
- 47:40Caleb's. That's my opinion.
- 47:42Not everybody agrees with me on that.
- 47:43But I do believe that being led by the Spirit is building these
- 47:48fundamental blocks where, you know, we're loving our neighbor,
- 47:51we're loving our brothers by actually inculcating the society
- 47:55around us, not by force. But the Bible says, Laura, be as
- 47:58wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove.
- 48:01Well, the serpent, the Nakash, was the wisest of all the
- 48:05animals in the field. So to be writing books that
- 48:08captivate people's minds and to recycle good thought processes
- 48:13back into the youth and into the elder generation, and speaking
- 48:17these words of life, attacking things from all these different
- 48:19angles, is imperative in my opinion.
- 48:22And you're doing just that. Well, thank you and and I love,
- 48:25I love how you said that and it is a lot of times just going
- 48:28back to the basics of getting outside fresh air, I'm a huge
- 48:32proponent of eye contact. It's amazing how infrequently we
- 48:37look people in the face and we've gotten used to talking to
- 48:39people as they stare at their screen or they're talking to us.
- 48:43We're looking at our screen and that's rude, that's
- 48:46inconsiderate. And so getting back to some of
- 48:49the basics of relationship, of prioritizing real face to face
- 48:54communication, these are, you know, not not hugely profound
- 48:58and yet can be life changing. I guarantee there's listeners
- 49:00right now that don't realize how much they're hurting just for
- 49:03lack of some hugs and eye contact.
- 49:05It goes such a long way and parents today can be so busy and
- 49:09they mean well. They're so busy providing and
- 49:11keeping up with the demands of their own life, which is
- 49:13understandable, but that we're not providing our our kids that
- 49:17or our family or our closest friends, and we really need to
- 49:20get back to that. So I want to ask you, what is
- 49:24your favorite Bible story at this point in time?
- 49:27Is there one that sticks out like it's just the heartthrob,
- 49:31something that has inspired you even in your personal life and
- 49:34in your writings? Yes, I love the Genesis account
- 49:38from the beginning through the fall.
- 49:41I mean, there is so much there. So, you know, for example, on
- 49:47the day that God made the sky and separated the earth from the
- 49:52heavens, it doesn't say He saw that it was good.
- 49:56I mean it. That seems like the littlest
- 49:58thing. But you're like, why every day
- 49:59you say it was good. And I I asked the Lord again, I
- 50:02encourage us to do this. Lord.
- 50:04What? Why didn't you say it was good?
- 50:07Now this can only be proven out in heaven someday.
- 50:09I can't prove this. But what I felt He said is
- 50:12because I understood the eventual separation from heaven
- 50:15and earth. And it's not that it was bad.
- 50:18He didn't say this, the sky was bad.
- 50:21It's just interesting that he didn't say it was good.
- 50:23And I'm just giving that as one example.
- 50:24But I've been able to extrapolate so many practical
- 50:27things about the nature of God, the nature of man, the tactics
- 50:32the enemy used at the fall, and how they're still so relevant.
- 50:36He's still using them today. And so it's one of my favorite
- 50:39things when I get to talk to students to teach on is right
- 50:42there out of the first few chapters of Genesis.
- 50:45And then I go on my rant of how, you know, the science class
- 50:49would try to tell us that it's unintellectual to believe that.
- 50:51And I if you allow me to be so bold, I I feel that the the
- 50:55concept of evolution is unintelligent and I could
- 50:58expound on that if I needed to. That's not to put anybody down
- 51:01or call anyone dumb or anything like that.
- 51:04I'm just very passionate about the fact that we have a creator,
- 51:09and that creation testifies to a creator in some unmistakable
- 51:13ways. Yeah, you're speaking to the
- 51:16right audience here. I mean, we've had like Dan
- 51:17Duvall on from Discovering Truth.
- 51:20You know, we're like the heavens Shamayim and the Hebrew and
- 51:23you're you're alluding to this thing that God didn't say it was
- 51:25good in Genesis and that's profound because there's
- 51:28elemental that's a region. You know the Prince of the power
- 51:32of the air is the devil. So fascinating how you just drop
- 51:35that little gem just looking at Genesis and it already fits into
- 51:39these other big climactical points of just connecting puzzle
- 51:44pieces together throughout the rest of these past episodes.
- 51:47So I just, I'm I'm really enjoying this conversation with
- 51:50you. The production of your book,
- 51:53it's going to be made into a featured film.
- 51:56It is being made into a feature film.
- 51:58Let's recap on that real quick. Yes, thanks for asking.
- 52:00We are in what's called the development phase.
- 52:03So we're taking the script to a whole new level.
- 52:05I'm partnering with a guy did my very best over the years, but
- 52:09partnering with a guy who's just an amazing scriptwriter and
- 52:13we've raised some funds and making the right connections in
- 52:17the industry and it just really been praying like who are these
- 52:20people that are going to be this team?
- 52:23And so the hope is that by next year we're in production.
- 52:28God alone knows his perfect timing, but we're certainly
- 52:31closer today than we ever have been and special effects have
- 52:35come so far. It's just going to be incredible
- 52:38to bring the epic battle between demons and angels to that
- 52:43cinematic experience. And you think it would have been
- 52:45done by now because it's kind of like this quintessential
- 52:48expression of good and evil, right, Demons and angels.
- 52:51But I feel like God has reserved that space.
- 52:53He's held it so that it didn't get told wrong.
- 52:56I'm not saying there's never been any movies, but there I
- 52:58haven't seen any blockbuster movies with demons and angels.
- 53:01It feels like he's holding that space and that he's going to
- 53:04present that in a biblical way. That's the other thing.
- 53:07We could partner with various production companies, but then
- 53:10they're they're going to want to take the story in the direction
- 53:12we don't want to go. So I appreciate your prayers.
- 53:16I mean, you heard that dream I had in the eighth grade.
- 53:17This is not a light thing to walk into this territory and,
- 53:22you know, set up shop, so to speak.
- 53:24But we know that it's not by power or might, but by the
- 53:27spirit of God. But if if the Lord puts it on
- 53:28your heart, please do pray about that.
- 53:31And then certainly on my website lauragallier.com GALL i.e. r.com
- 53:36you can sign up for my E newsletter and stay posted on
- 53:40the journey. And also you could just sign up
- 53:42to download the first chapter of the Delusion for free.
- 53:45And we'll keep you posted on the movie making Journey if you do
- 53:48that. And I highly recommend that you
- 53:51guys go to Laura's website. You can also find details in the
- 53:54show notes on that support. What's going on here?
- 53:57Because this is bigger than just, it's not one person
- 54:00leading this thing. I literally see behind the
- 54:03scenes. I've talked with Hollywood
- 54:04producers all the way to the guy next door and everybody in
- 54:07between. And literally I have been seeing
- 54:10this kind of, like movement where it's, it's starting to
- 54:13form these connections that are going to honor God.
- 54:17It's like God is reserving. Like you said it, Laura, for
- 54:20such a time as this, we haven't actually seen great movies be
- 54:24done through the big production companies that are biblically
- 54:28accurate, right? But now we're we're kind of
- 54:31boiling up to this point where people really want to know
- 54:34what's my purpose, Why am I here?
- 54:36What's really going on? Is God, real, and entertainment?
- 54:40You got to think about how heavy the entertainment is today.
- 54:45Kids walking around looking at their cell phones, even when
- 54:48they're on vacation with a beautiful view.
- 54:50That's natural in the background.
- 54:52That's where we're at. So if we have to use these tools
- 54:55to be able to reach people, I think that God is also going to
- 54:58honor that and allow us to do so.
- 55:00Because you know, technology, it's just the time that we're
- 55:05living in that it's it's never really been like this before
- 55:08where we have supercomputers in our pockets.
- 55:10So to have movies, to have podcasts, to have these messages
- 55:14going out and infiltrating the Airways and saying, you know
- 55:17what, we're going to bring you guys good entertainment, driven
- 55:19by the gospel, by the word. And I love what you said a
- 55:23minute ago, Laura, about, you know, we don't just want anybody
- 55:26picking up and working with us because they want to morph
- 55:29things and change things. The enemy wants to change things
- 55:33out of resonating with a deep biblical, eternal truth.
- 55:37So I believe it's all going to come together and it's all going
- 55:40to work together. And I think you'll be pleasantly
- 55:43surprised to find a lot of agreement with the audience here
- 55:47on The Mustard Seed. Yeah, I so appreciate that.
- 55:50And I love what you said. It's not just one person, it was
- 55:52just me and the dream because it's a personal journey, but
- 55:55it's a whole army of us and there's a place for creatives.
- 55:58Unfortunately, in church, a lot of times it just there's not a
- 56:01lot of room for for creative people to express their
- 56:04giftings. But the Lord gives us those
- 56:06creative talents whether we write or sing or do, art or
- 56:09build. I mean, there's no end, right,
- 56:11to the the talents we can have and just know if you'll commit
- 56:14that to the Lord and determined to serve him one way or another
- 56:18with it, he will honor that he's given us those talents for
- 56:22reason and don't let anything you know, squash or hope.
- 56:24I've gotten so much criticism Oh my goodness, on my work and
- 56:28really a lot of it made my work better.
- 56:30When you kind of lick your wounds and take about 24 hours
- 56:34to heal. I know what the editor is at
- 56:35Tyndale, that it was more red than than black on my manuscript
- 56:39with their corrections and it heard it first and then you know
- 56:42your pride or ego, whatever that is, gets a little wounded your
- 56:44feelings. And then it's like you know what
- 56:46they know what they're talking about.
- 56:47So let's do it. Let's start applying these
- 56:49changes. And if you'll be teachable and
- 56:51you'll be instructable and you'll be willing to die to
- 56:55that, that lie, that things happen overnight.
- 56:58I mean that is definitely the exception, not the rule and
- 57:01certainly my own life. This is.
- 57:02I'm over a decade guys working on this screenplay and project
- 57:06has been over a decade since I first self published the book.
- 57:10So persevere and keep using your gifts and it will bear fruit and
- 57:14have eternal impact. Psalm 62, verse one truly My
- 57:20soul silently waits for God. From him comes my salvation.
- 57:24He only is my rock and my salvation.
- 57:28He is my defense. I shall not be greatly moved,
- 57:32Laura. I just want to say I'm
- 57:34supporting what you're doing. I'm going to encourage the
- 57:38listeners here to get a copy of the Delusion and to go to your
- 57:42website and just to be in prayer.
- 57:44And if you guys go as far as to donate and reach out to Laura to
- 57:49help get this thing produced, you know, we really do believe
- 57:52that God is going to move in a new way.
- 57:54Religious people, it's going over top of their head.
- 57:57They're not going to be able to comprehend what God is doing,
- 57:58but that's OK. We have never waited to move
- 58:01forward because of the acceptance of the rest of
- 58:04everybody. Being a pioneer does require to
- 58:07go into uncomfortable spaces and to stir the pot, and I think
- 58:12you're doing that, Laura. Just plug in real quick where
- 58:15people can find you. You can always reach me through
- 58:17my website. Laura Laura Gallier GALL i.e.
- 58:22r.com. I do check my own messages and I
- 58:25do have a nonprofit Gen. 61 Generation 61.
- 58:29Those will both take you right there.
- 58:31If you Google that. I can't accept donations for
- 58:34this. We can and certainly through my
- 58:37website. You're welcome to do that.
- 58:38lauragaller.com. Those links would be there.
- 58:41You can message me and just appreciate again all your
- 58:44support. It's just wonderful and and
- 58:47definitely this is meant to be something that young people grab
- 58:50hold of and champion and take ownership.
- 58:53And so I'm just so excited to connect with a young audience.
- 58:58And that is it. That's the show, you guys.
- 59:00I'm going to ask you to share this one with your friends,
- 59:02family members, Co workers. Share it with your doctor.
- 59:04Share it with your pastor coming to you from southeastern
- 59:08Pennsylvania. God bless and goodbye.
- 59:18I don't need nothing. I just need you.
- 59:24If this is my Caesar, pray I'll give it to you.
- 59:29Blessings that you give what you Pour them out.
- 59:33Dip your finger in the water. Cool my tongue.
- 59:36Let your worship proceed from out my mouth.
- 59:40Dissel on earth. Let it be overcome.
- 59:43Run to you. I run to you.
- 59:47Run to you I run, I run. Run to you.
- 59:51I run to you. Run to you.
- 59:55Run through your son. Humble themselves and seek my
- 59:58face. Kneeling they pray.
- 1:00:00Turning from the wickedest ways I can hear from heaven knows who
- 1:00:05caught by my name. Self forgiven.
- 1:00:07He is risen. Call me back That Kingdom with
- 1:00:09them. That's the fact that Trump be
- 1:00:11with them. We alive.
- 1:00:12We caught up with them. That's revive the dead or risen.
- 1:00:15That's a stat. That's a million.
- 1:00:16That's a billion. That's a train.
- 1:00:18I can't count it. That's a big alpha, You know
- 1:00:23that? They hit me up like a rabbi.
- 1:00:28Put me down, zip me up, Then high five.
- 1:00:30Then against the lost set of my Sinai.
- 1:00:32Written on my heart of a since Christ God.
- 1:00:33Then he rose up from the grave. Lovers made a way save by the
- 1:00:36blood, and never know about the name Jesus.
- 1:00:38Blessings that you give. Would you pour them out?
- 1:00:41Dip your finger in the water, Cool my tongue.
- 1:00:45Let your worship proceed from my mouth.
- 1:00:48This hell on earth. Let it be overcome.
- 1:00:52Run to you, I run to you. Run to you.
- 1:00:57I I need some time. More than any sun, I stay losing
- 1:01:07faith. If you lead the way, we will be
- 1:01:09just fine. Hit these needs of mine.
- 1:01:10How about saving face? You have saving grace that I
- 1:01:12need to find. Searching.
- 1:01:13Now you're blind. What more can I take?
- 1:01:14Life. A piece of cake.
- 1:01:15When you chase your piece of pie you'll get the crumbs of meat
- 1:01:25and mine it. Hit the knees Some weep and cry
- 1:01:29gnashing teeth. Atheists to the Catholic priest
- 1:01:31equalized. I know you gave me purpose of
- 1:01:34this one thing. I know I lean on you for
- 1:01:36courage. Can't do this thing alone.
- 1:01:39And I am far from perfect faith. And you can make me home before
- 1:01:42the judge. I know the verdict.
- 1:01:44Jesus. Cover up my soul of my soul.
- 1:01:46Of my lessons that you give. Would you pour them out.
- 1:01:50Keep your finger in the water. Cool my song.
- 1:01:53Let your worship proceed from out my mouth.
- 1:02:04Wow, you're full of surprises, too.
- 1:02:06I felt so unprepared because I I really was diving into your
- 1:02:10biography and I'm like, looking at all of this stuff you've
