- 0:36Speaker 0: Welcome to the Brain's Body Podcast.
- 0:39Speaker 0: I'm Dr Christopher Kevin Slayton, your host and author of Brain Talk.
- 0:44Speaker 0: Learn the Brain's Body with Dr Slayton, live and we're still talking about healing time.
- 0:49Speaker 0: The science of your human potential and understanding brain-body connections is realizing that you can only heal self through help.
- 0:59Speaker 0: No one else can do this for you.
- 1:01Speaker 0: You have to help, and the way you begin to learn how to help is by understanding your received path functions.
- 1:08Speaker 0: So I talk about the brain, body, I'm talking about sense of receive path functions where, neurologically, you receive to resist or accept the influence of the environmental stimuli.
- 1:30Speaker 0: And what I'm saying is when you resist, then that causes a challenge to the flow of information, knowledge, experience, emotion, thought, reflection.
- 1:41Speaker 0: You begin to think before you feel and when you feel before you think, you become more emotional because your thought is not processed, it's a state of mind, it is from the stimuli of the environmental influence.
- 1:56Speaker 0: It could be the person whom you're at odds with.
- 1:59Speaker 0: That's stimulating your sense path and overwhelming your received path with resistance to the experience of conversion, where the brain accepts that negative energy and takes it through a forward-backward feed process loop that then allows you to purge the negative feelings through an awareness of this affect.
- 2:23Speaker 0: You're not saying it didn't happen.
- 2:25Speaker 0: You're saying yes, it happened.
- 2:26Speaker 0: But this is how I respond to my sense of feel for self and my brain and the need of my body.
- 2:33Speaker 0: So my body is not the problem.
- 2:35Speaker 0: As long as I stay focused, then I'm disciplined.
- 2:39Speaker 0: And if I'm disciplined then I know I can move through the anxiety, the experience of hurt, pain and sadness and that's healing time.
- 3:03Speaker 0: But again, I said self-help because you have to be in the understanding of why you do brain work or why you contribute to what they're saying to you, because you understand your received path is how your inner processing systems, the mechanism of the brain, grasps the flow of information and processes it, and what you want is clarity so that forward feed builds the right reflection, negative or positive.
- 3:35Speaker 0: So when you're in dialogue you're discussing the bad feelings of self and you know when you're relieving self, because those bad experiences, go through a conversion process, then you can see the other side, the benefits of doing this brain work, and so this is what Healing Time is all about.
- 3:52Speaker 0: Now wait a minute, because it's no joke.
- 3:55Speaker 0: If you pick up the book, I go back to my 2022 book, the Brain's Body, and it tells you that the brain is the body, that the body is the senses.
- 4:07Speaker 0: And I just touch on the emphasis of behaviorism Because I'm not knocking behaviorism, but you must recall that in the beginning, behaviors did not believe there was a brain because, empirically, you couldn't establish functionality inside your human system unless you were cut open.
- 4:26Speaker 0: And if you cut open the body, it ceases from its regular operations.
- 4:32Speaker 0: So then you still have no empirical data to work from because it has been curved by the experimental influences of you as an environment, trying to dissect another person's inner sense of fear.
- 4:50Speaker 0: So what I'm saying to you humanism is science.
- 4:53Speaker 0: You don't have to go through all that person's inner sense of fear.
- 4:55Speaker 0: So what I'm saying to you humanism is science.
- 4:56Speaker 0: You don't have to go through all that, because you understand the brain is what you're studying, but the body is the physics of the brain, and so when you're studying the brain, you are monitoring the body and recognizing the transformative aspects that the senses bring to the intervention of self, because your eyes, ears and other sense organs deliver concrete action that is associated with brain-body connection.
- 5:27Speaker 0: And so I'm talking about an empirical process that I've used for over 25 years of studying almost out of breath, and that's the breath of life, because when you're working with the brain, you have to always be aware of how you breathe.
- 5:40Speaker 0: That's the key to humanism, science, understanding the breath of life experience.
- 5:44Speaker 0: If you go back to the book Again, I'm talking about the breath of life when I talk about citizen received, path functions and how the environmental influences of the doctor, mother, nurse, environment contributed to whether you got off on the right path or the wrong path, or in between, because the level of care that you were able to receive and accept I said receive and accept because you may have been hurt at birth.
- 6:12Speaker 0: So how would you accept those feelings in the midst of being born, in the life where you have the organic feelings of breath of life taking you over and only can you imagine what those experiences really felt like pain, hurt, sadness, all throughout your physicality, your mind state at that point in time, because everybody could observe it behavioristically.
- 6:44Speaker 0: Now human science goes that further because it's saying okay, we can record it and then we can use causal loops to diagram the invisible functions of the brain and we can see what's improved and what isn't improved and we can look at what helps you become more informed and then realize that's brain work.
- 7:04Speaker 0: In between those lines, this has been Dr Slade Live and I've been talking about brain talk, so pick up your copy today.
- 7:10Speaker 0: Brain talk, learn the brain by Dr Slade Live.
- 7:11Speaker 0: And I've been talking about brain talk, so pick up your copy today.
- 7:12Speaker 0: Brain talk, learn the brains by Dr Slade Live.
- 7:13Speaker 0: Don't stop working, no matter where you are.
- 7:16Speaker 0: Self-help, listen.
- 7:17Speaker 0: Self-help, self-research no, no, no.
- 7:19Speaker 0: Self-help self-research Is it getting through?
- 7:23Speaker 0: Because self-help is self-research Brain, body, sense systems.
- 7:28Speaker 0: Because what are you trying to?
- 7:32Speaker 0: Improve your human potential.
- 7:32Speaker 0: So what's your technologies?
- 7:33Speaker 0: The brain, the body, the senses.
- 7:36Speaker 0: And how do you know when you can acknowledge received past functions?
- 7:41Speaker 0: You're better able to measure, measure and assess action, energy and feeling.
- 7:49Speaker 0: This is Boxing Live.
- 7:50Speaker 0: Stay tuned.
- 7:50Speaker 0: Thanks so much.
- 7:51Speaker 0: Thank you.
- 7:51Speaker 0: Measure and assess action, energy and filth.
