- 3:08Speaker 1: and we didn't live stream. Well, lo and behold, I
- 3:12Speaker 1: went to those folders and I guess I was trying
- 3:14Speaker 1: to clean up room and I deleted all the videos.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I only have the audio bloopers, so I apologize for that,
- 3:23Speaker 1: but I will find something that I can do with
- 3:26Speaker 1: the audio to get get at that out to you now.

- 3:54Speaker 1: us his experience of working with Anthony and the challenges
- 3:59Speaker 1: of dealing with the bunny boiler LaDonna Humphreys, because you
- 4:04Speaker 1: know she has a bunny boiler. Now, we are also
- 4:07Speaker 1: live for True Crime and Mine Time tomorrow night and
- 4:10Speaker 1: we are covering spy crimes. Then on December sixteenth, we
- 4:16Speaker 1: will have our one thousand subscriber live stream party. Yay.
- 4:21Speaker 1: We have so many fun and crazy things happening, and
- 4:25Speaker 1: it will also be our last live stream of the
- 4:28Speaker 1: year as the team here at TCWT Media will be
- 4:33Speaker 1: taking off for the holidays and we will return the
- 4:37Speaker 1: first week of January. Oh and it looks like we
- 4:42Speaker 1: are very blessed. Today we have the fabulous JT in
- 4:46Speaker 1: the chat, so that doesn't happen very often. So Hi, JT.
- 4:51Speaker 1: You know I can't chat and say hi because I
- 4:55Speaker 1: give not that multi talented. But I had our two
- 5:01Speaker 1: cases planned that we've been advertising, but I added another
- 5:06Speaker 1: missing person case because it is a friend of the
- 5:10Speaker 1: tcwteam because my co host of True Crime and Mind Time,
- 5:15Speaker 1: mister jt. He is friends with the cousin of Nicole Scott.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Nicole Scott is thirty eight and she was last seen
- 5:25Speaker 1: on October seventh, twenty twenty four. Nicole had been has
- 5:30Speaker 1: been a long term resident of Hornell, New York. However,
- 5:34Speaker 1: she was born in Texas, so she's Texas girl. She
- 5:37Speaker 1: is well known in her community. She is also a
- 5:40Speaker 1: single mother to a twelve year old daughter. Now, following
- 5:44Speaker 1: a difficult separation, Nicole faced personal struggles, but her brother
- 5:50Speaker 1: said she has shown marked improvements over the past year. Now,
- 5:54Speaker 1: Nicole had very strong times to her family, particularly her parents,
- 6:00Speaker 1: and Nicole kept in closed contact with them, usually calling
- 6:05Speaker 1: her messaging every couple of days and never going more
- 6:10Speaker 1: than ten days without reaching out. Now, Nicole's father, Todd,
- 6:15Speaker 1: had admitted her to Helio Health Rehabilitation Center located on
- 6:20Speaker 1: Brighton Henrietta Road in Brighton, which is a suburb of
- 6:24Speaker 1: the fabulous Rochester, New York. Been there loved it on
- 6:28Speaker 1: eight On October six, guys, she checked herself out of
- 6:34Speaker 1: the facility. The following morning on October seventh, around eleven
- 6:39Speaker 1: thirty am, which marks the last confirmed sighting. Now, I'm
- 6:46Speaker 1: going to assume she was there for a voluntary admission
- 6:50Speaker 1: since she was able to check herself out, but still
- 6:54Speaker 1: that's very scary. Since her departure from Helio Health, Nicole
- 7:00Speaker 1: has had no social media activity, which is very unusual
- 7:05Speaker 1: for her. Apparently she was very active on the socials,
- 7:10Speaker 1: so that has the family very worried as well. When
- 7:14Speaker 1: family members notice this sudden silence, it prompted them to
- 7:18Speaker 1: file a missing person's report with Brighton Police Department, I
- 7:23Speaker 1: guess said. Also adding to her concern or adding to
- 7:27Speaker 1: the family's concern, her social media messenger for Facebook now
- 7:32Speaker 1: is inactive and unable to receive messages, which they say
- 7:36Speaker 1: is also very uncharacteristic for Nicole. So, like I said,
- 7:43Speaker 1: they are very concerned with her. She's, like I said,
- 7:47Speaker 1: she'd been having a rough time, going through a separation,
- 7:51Speaker 1: maybe having some type of mental health crisis, so they
- 7:54Speaker 1: are very worried about her. Nicole was last seen wearing
- 7:58Speaker 1: sweats and olive green hoodie in pink Nike sneakers. Okay, guys,
- 8:04Speaker 1: we know pink is my thing so love that Nicole.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Nicole is five foot three and weighs one hundred and
- 8:11Speaker 1: sixty five to one hundred and eighty pounds. Guys, I
- 8:14Speaker 1: don't like to give women's weights because it makes me
- 8:18Speaker 1: very nervous, but since she is missing, we are going
- 8:21Speaker 1: to share that. If you have any information regarding the
- 8:26Speaker 1: disappearance of Nicole Scott, I am going to ask you
- 8:31Speaker 1: to please please contact the Brighton County or the Brighton
- 8:37Speaker 1: Police Department at five eight five seven eighty four five
- 8:42Speaker 1: 't one five ozho. And to Nicole, if somehow you
- 8:47Speaker 1: see this, please call the Brighton Police or your brother
- 8:52Speaker 1: or another family member. They are all very worried about
- 8:56Speaker 1: you and they want you to be safe. So, like
- 9:00Speaker 1: I said, Nicole, if you're hearing this, please reach out
- 9:03Speaker 1: to any of Nicole's friends who possibly think they're doing
- 9:07Speaker 1: the right thing by not sharing information where she's at. Guys,
- 9:11Speaker 1: this family is extremely worried. I'm going to ask you
- 9:16Speaker 1: please do the right thing tell them where she is. Okay.
- 9:22Speaker 1: We will also share the missing person flyer for Nicole
- 9:26Speaker 1: after our live stream ends today, as I will ask
- 9:30Speaker 1: with all of the other cases, please share her missing
- 9:34Speaker 1: person flyers if you live in the Rochester area, please
- 9:38Speaker 1: go ahead and tag establishments that you know of in Rochester,
- 9:42Speaker 1: any neighboring groups, things like that. Let's get the word out, okay. Now,
- 9:49Speaker 1: Next up is a case that has haunted a small
- 9:54Speaker 1: Louisiana community for over a decade. Guys, I don't know
- 9:59Speaker 1: what it is, but every time I go to record,
- 10:04Speaker 1: my face starts ititching. Maybe it's nerves. I don't know,
- 10:07Speaker 1: because I'm shy and all that. Just kidding, but this
- 10:12Speaker 1: is the story of Barbara and Blunt. Barbara and Blunt
- 10:16Speaker 1: was a fifty eight year old mother and grandmother living
- 10:19Speaker 1: in the Holden, Louisiana, which is a rural community in Livingston,
- 10:23Speaker 1: Paris Now. Described by her family as sweet, soft spoken,
- 10:28Speaker 1: and deeply religious, Barbara had simple routines and close ties
- 10:33Speaker 1: to her church and family. It's said she was the
- 10:37Speaker 1: kind of person everyone felt comfortable around, often lending a
- 10:42Speaker 1: hand or just a listening ear. Guys, I love that,
- 10:46Speaker 1: and I want y'all to look at her picture. She
- 10:50Speaker 1: looks like just a sweet lady. I literally just wanted
- 10:54Speaker 1: to hug her when I saw this picture. I don't know,
- 10:58Speaker 1: just something about her face looks very inviting to me. So.
- 11:01Speaker 1: On May second, two thousand and eight, Barbara ann went
- 11:05Speaker 1: about her usual day, but she never finished it. That
- 11:10Speaker 1: Friday morning started like any other. Barbara was home alone
- 11:15Speaker 1: at her property on Highway four forty one. She was
- 11:18Speaker 1: planning to prepare a pot of vegetable soup yum. She
- 11:23Speaker 1: was last heard from around eight thirty in the morning,
- 11:25Speaker 1: after a brief call with her cousin, now Christy, Barbara's
- 11:30Speaker 1: daughter tried to reach her mother around lunchtime, but Barbara
- 11:34Speaker 1: did not answer, which was unusual, But guys, by that afternoon,
- 11:40Speaker 1: things took a very dark turn. Around four thirty pm,
- 11:45Speaker 1: one of Barbara's relatives, after getting a call from Christy,
- 11:48Speaker 1: went to Barbara's house and made a startling discovery. The
- 11:53Speaker 1: door was wide open and there were signs of a struggle.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Barbara's phone and keys were found inside, and two of
- 12:01Speaker 1: her kitchen chairs were overturned. But guys, Barbara was nowhere
- 12:06Speaker 1: to be found in the house and has not been
- 12:09Speaker 1: seen since now. A search began almost immediately. Family, friends, neighbors,
- 12:17Speaker 1: and local authorities scoured the surrounding area. Why is Barber's
- 12:22Speaker 1: twenty five acre property. They searched twenty five acres is
- 12:26Speaker 1: quite a bit if it's in Louisiana. I'm assuming lots
- 12:30Speaker 1: of trees, lots of moss, lots of stuff. So then
- 12:35Speaker 1: Barbara's carr was discovered less than a mile away and
- 12:38Speaker 1: a secluded field off of her property, and there was
- 12:42Speaker 1: no signs of her inside. And despite, like I said,
- 12:47Speaker 1: the extensive search, there's not a single trace of Barbara
- 12:53Speaker 1: that has been found. And back then, guys, we didn't
- 12:56Speaker 1: have surveillance cameras, doorbell cameras everywhere. Plus she lived on
- 13:01Speaker 1: twenty five acres. Okay, I guess said the investigation did
- 13:06Speaker 1: uncover possible signs of foul play with those chairs turned over,
- 13:11Speaker 1: and they said that hinted at a struggle, and they
- 13:13Speaker 1: said the distance where her car was located raised questions
- 13:17Speaker 1: about how and why it ended up there. Yet, guys,
- 13:22Speaker 1: the search dogs couldn't find any clear centrails and no
- 13:27Speaker 1: obvious signs of forced entry were reported at her home. Now,
- 13:32Speaker 1: I'm going to tell you my first thought was, was
- 13:36Speaker 1: she in her house? Somebody knocked on the door, Maybe
- 13:38Speaker 1: she knew them. She opened the door, they grabbed her,
- 13:43Speaker 1: picked her up, took her in a vehicle. Did something
- 13:48Speaker 1: to her, came back and did something with their car.
- 13:50Speaker 1: I don't know. It just scares the heck out of
- 13:53Speaker 1: me to think that something happened. But as days turned
- 13:58Speaker 1: into weeks, in weeks into months, months and years, the
- 14:02Speaker 1: leads have begun to dwindle and authorities are considering every possibility,
- 14:08Speaker 1: whether an abduction, foul play, she went off on her own,
- 14:13Speaker 1: or was it a chance encounter that went terribly wrong.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Now Barbara's family, especially her children Randy and Christine, remained vigilant,
- 14:23Speaker 1: holding on to hope while fearing the worst. They have
- 14:27Speaker 1: said they do not believe their mother would leave on
- 14:31Speaker 1: her own, accord I said, despite all these years, her
- 14:36Speaker 1: case remains cold, with only a few details treckling in now.
- 14:41Speaker 1: One of the key challenges faced by the investigators was
- 14:45Speaker 1: the sheer isolation of her property, surrounded by dense woods
- 14:49Speaker 1: and farmland, and the remoteness of her home made finding
- 14:53Speaker 1: concrete evidence extremely difficult. Guys, if you've never been to Louisiana, there,
- 14:59Speaker 1: I mean it can be thick, It can be really thick.
- 15:04Speaker 1: So in twenty twenty one, New Sheriffs detectives reviewed the
- 15:08Speaker 1: case in the hopes of finding something previously overlooked. They
- 15:12Speaker 1: combed through tips and reinterviewed witnesses, hoping someone would remember
- 15:17Speaker 1: a small detail or that new technology could bring some
- 15:21Speaker 1: fresh insights. Unfortunately, guys, no new, substantial, substantial leads came
- 15:28Speaker 1: from this review, leaving Barbara's loved ones still waiting for
- 15:33Speaker 1: answers and wondering what happened to their mother. Barbara and
- 15:42Speaker 1: Blunt's disappearance should be a reminder to all of us
- 15:45Speaker 1: how a single moment can forever change the lives of
- 15:48Speaker 1: an entire family and community. Think about it. Somebody talks
- 15:54Speaker 1: to you on the phone eight thirty in the morning
- 15:56Speaker 1: and by lunchtime no one can get a hold of you.
- 15:59Speaker 1: That happen that quick. For over sixteen years, Barbara's children
- 16:04Speaker 1: have lived without their mother, clinging to that hope that
- 16:08Speaker 1: one day she will be found, or at the very
- 16:11Speaker 1: least they'll know what happened to her. If you, or
- 16:15Speaker 1: anyone you know has information about Barbara and Blunt, please
- 16:21Speaker 1: contact the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office at two two five
- 16:26Speaker 1: six eight six two two four to one, or the
- 16:30Speaker 1: Capital Reaching Crime Stoppers at two two five three four
- 16:35Speaker 1: four seven eight six seven. Guys, I know I say
- 16:40Speaker 1: this all the time. I try not to beat a
- 16:41Speaker 1: dead horse, but even the smallest piece of information could
- 16:46Speaker 1: help bring her family the closure they desperately need. We
- 16:51Speaker 1: don't know what all clues law enforcement has. They could
- 16:55Speaker 1: just need one little thing, So please reach out to
- 16:59Speaker 1: them now. Next we are going to head to Texas.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I will say I feel like I do a lot
- 17:09Speaker 1: of stuff in Texas. This case has haunted East Texas
- 17:14Speaker 1: for over fifteen years. Brandy ellen Wells, nicknamed Blinky for
- 17:20Speaker 1: her frequent blinking, disappeared on August second, twenty Excuse me,
- 17:25Speaker 1: two thousand and six, guys, I just can't get over Blinky.
- 17:30Speaker 1: I have never heard anyone have that as a nickname.
- 17:33Speaker 1: When I saw that, my first thought was pac Man
- 17:37Speaker 1: and the little ghost named Blinky. I know I'm weird,
- 17:41Speaker 1: but Brandy's story is a troubling mystery. It's one of
- 17:46Speaker 1: a young woman on the verge of starting a new
- 17:48Speaker 1: chapter in her life, which was tragically interrupted by her
- 17:53Speaker 1: sudden disappearance. But let's go back to that fateful night.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Brandy was living with a roommate in Brownsboro, Texas. She
- 18:02Speaker 1: was excited about enrolling at Trinity Valley Community College and
- 18:06Speaker 1: starting a new job at Walmart, where she hoped to
- 18:10Speaker 1: save up money for her dream of becoming a kindergarten teacher. Guys,
- 18:15Speaker 1: anyone who wants to be a kindergarten teacher is a
- 18:18Speaker 1: saint in my book, because I mean, I have a
- 18:22Speaker 1: five year old grandson and I could not imagine having
- 18:26Speaker 1: a whole classroom full of little guys. So on August second,
- 18:31Speaker 1: two thousand and six, Brandy visited her mother in Tyler, Texas,
- 18:35Speaker 1: before driving to Longview. She planned to spend the evening
- 18:39Speaker 1: at a popular nightclub called Graham's Central Station, despite being
- 18:44Speaker 1: unfamiliar with the area. But Brandy arrived at the club
- 18:47Speaker 1: around ten thirty pm after making multiple calls to the
- 18:51Speaker 1: club asking for directions. Me that's me, guys, I'm directionally challenged.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Thank good, and as we have Google Maps. By the
- 19:02Speaker 1: time she got there, her gas tank was nearly empty,
- 19:05Speaker 1: and according to witnesses, she asked other patrons for help
- 19:09Speaker 1: with gas money, but it is unclear whether anyone came
- 19:15Speaker 1: to her aid. Brandy left the club alone shortly after midnight.
- 19:20Speaker 1: Now surveillance footage captured her walking out, and it is
- 19:24Speaker 1: reported she was not or did not appear to be
- 19:28Speaker 1: intoxicated at the time. That is the last confirmed sighting
- 19:33Speaker 1: of her. Now. Five days later, her black four door
- 19:38Speaker 1: Pontiac Grand Prix was found abandoned on Interstate twenty just
- 19:43Speaker 1: outside of Longview. Her purse, wallet, and a non functional
- 19:48Speaker 1: cell phone belonging to her ex boyfriend were inside, no
- 19:53Speaker 1: signs of Brandy. Also, the driver's seat had been pushed back,
- 19:58Speaker 1: suggesting someone taller than Brandy may have driven the car. Also,
- 20:03Speaker 1: there was a plastic gas can inside the trunk, which
- 20:08Speaker 1: her family insisted do not belong to her. Now police
- 20:13Speaker 1: did not find any signs of a struggle in or
- 20:17Speaker 1: around the car. However, there were disturbing details involving Brandy's
- 20:22Speaker 1: cell phone. After her disappearance. Her phone was found and
- 20:28Speaker 1: used by three individuals. Guys, I'm going to just tell
- 20:34Speaker 1: you right now, you find a working cell phone, you
- 20:38Speaker 1: need to take it to the nearest police department. If
- 20:41Speaker 1: you're inside a Walmart, a Target, a grocery store, turn
- 20:45Speaker 1: it into their customer service desk, anywhere else, turn the
- 20:50Speaker 1: flipping thing into the police. Don't just pass it around
- 20:54Speaker 1: for people to use it. So one of the people
- 20:57Speaker 1: using it was a man who has not been publicly named. He, however,
- 21:01Speaker 1: did take a polygraph test and they say he failed,
- 21:06Speaker 1: but investigators have not publicly labeled him as a person
- 21:11Speaker 1: of interest or a suspect. And despite multiple interviews, this man,
- 21:18Speaker 1: as we probably are guessing, remains a person of interest,
- 21:21Speaker 1: but they haven't publicly said that. But it's leaving doubts
- 21:24Speaker 1: about the case. Brandy's disappearance has taken a huge emotional
- 21:31Speaker 1: toll on her family, especially her mother, Ellen Tant. Ellen
- 21:36Speaker 1: recalls Brandy as a family oriented young woman who would
- 21:40Speaker 1: not have disappeared by choice. Ellen and her family have
- 21:44Speaker 1: faced years of unanswered questions and occasional scares from leeds
- 21:49Speaker 1: and discoveries like the one in May twenty twenty one
- 21:53Speaker 1: when suspected human remains were found in Longview. That discovery
- 21:59Speaker 1: did turn out not be Brandy, but the family has
- 22:03Speaker 1: said every tip like that does reopen old wounds. But
- 22:07Speaker 1: they say, don't stop calling them in And in Ellen's
- 22:11Speaker 1: words and Terry's, nobody should just disappear off the face
- 22:16Speaker 1: of this earth. Guys said it. Somebody saw something, know something.
- 22:24Speaker 1: People can't keep their mouths shut. You know, somebody told
- 22:27Speaker 1: somebody knows something. But despite the frustrations with the investigation
- 22:32Speaker 1: and the passage of time, Ellen continues to hope that
- 22:36Speaker 1: one day someone will come forward with information. Guys, I've
- 22:42Speaker 1: said this before and I'm going to say it again.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Brandy's story should remind us all that when a person
- 22:49Speaker 1: goes missing, it's not just that person who suffers. There
- 22:54Speaker 1: are families left in the dark, fighting tiresly for answers.
- 22:59Speaker 1: I want you all to think about going to bed
- 23:02Speaker 1: every night not knowing where your loved one is. Do
- 23:07Speaker 1: the right thing. Just if you see something, say something.
- 23:10Speaker 1: So what if you say something, they check it out
- 23:14Speaker 1: and it really wasn't a big deal. It's better than
- 23:17Speaker 1: later saying oh I saw the scroll being this, this
- 23:20Speaker 1: or this. You know. Please, if you have any information
- 23:24Speaker 1: about Brandy's disappearance, please reach out to the Longview Police
- 23:29Speaker 1: Department at nine oh three two three seven one one
- 23:34Speaker 1: one zero. As if today her case remains unsolved, the guys,
- 23:41Speaker 1: your help, Okay, your help, sharing this episode, sharing the
- 23:47Speaker 1: missing person flyers can help. Tips come in that will
- 23:51Speaker 1: help find a resolution. Okay. Now, since I had a
- 23:58Speaker 1: rough week last week and a rough week weem and
- 24:01Speaker 1: we're coming up into Thanksgiving, I wanted to share a
- 24:04Speaker 1: cute little story. Before I get into the story, I
- 24:08Speaker 1: want to tell you why the character's name is Tom
- 24:12Speaker 1: the Turkey. Back when my boys were young, we lived
- 24:17Speaker 1: by tom Thumb and it was Thanksgiving time and went
- 24:22Speaker 1: to go buy the groceries. I was a single mom,
- 24:24Speaker 1: and they had someone dressed up in a turkey outfit
- 24:28Speaker 1: and his name was Tom the Turkey, and my kids
- 24:31Speaker 1: said hello, shook his little feather hand thing. Then when
- 24:35Speaker 1: it came time to cook the turkey for Thanksgiving, my
- 24:38Speaker 1: son goes, what's that And I said, JEFFA, that's like
- 24:41Speaker 1: Tom the Turkey. Remember you met him. Jeff did not
- 24:46Speaker 1: eat turkey that year, and he cried because he said,
- 24:49Speaker 1: it's not nice to eat Tom the Turkey. So I
- 24:55Speaker 1: decided to use Tom the Turkey in my little story.
- 24:58Speaker 1: So in a little farm nestled between Tom Mountains in
- 25:01Speaker 1: Golden Fields, Tom the Turkey had heard enough about Thanksgiving
- 25:06Speaker 1: to know that it wasn't exactly the best holidays for turkeys.
- 25:10Speaker 1: And Tom wasn't just any turkey. He was a clever,
- 25:15Speaker 1: a bit quirky, and had a knack for getting into trouble.
- 25:19Speaker 1: But this year he was determined to stay out of trouble,
- 25:23Speaker 1: and on a crisp November morning, when Tom overheard Farmer
- 25:28Speaker 1: Bob talking to his wife Ethel the words Thanksgiving feast,
- 25:33Speaker 1: im roset turkey floated through the air. Okay, guys, that
- 25:38Speaker 1: sends a chill down my spine. But for Tom, he
- 25:42Speaker 1: felt a chill running through his feather, and he muttered,
- 25:46Speaker 1: Oh no, that's me. They're talking about me. Tom had
- 25:52Speaker 1: never been a bird to just sit back and let
- 25:55Speaker 1: things happen. Nope, he had a plan. He tiptoed back
- 25:59Speaker 1: to the coop, which is tricky for a turkey. Guys,
- 26:02Speaker 1: gathered his flock and said, all right, here's the deal.
- 26:06Speaker 1: I'm going into hiding until December. You guys cover for me.
- 26:12Speaker 1: His friends, a mix of supportive hens and one very
- 26:15Speaker 1: clueless rooster, wished him luck and off Tom wents. Tom's
- 26:21Speaker 1: first attempt at hiding wasn't actually it wasn't exactly very subtle.
- 26:26Speaker 1: He tried to camouflage himself in a pile of fall leaves,
- 26:29Speaker 1: poking his head out every now and then to check
- 26:32Speaker 1: to see if the coast was clear, But soon his
- 26:35Speaker 1: tail feather started shaking in the chilly air, and the
- 26:38Speaker 1: squirrel took up residence on his head, mistaking him for
- 26:42Speaker 1: maybe Apollo nuts. Next, he tried to hide behind a
- 26:46Speaker 1: scarecrow in the cornfield. Genius, he thought to himself, No,
- 26:51Speaker 1: I'll thing to look for a turkey out here. But
- 26:55Speaker 1: Farmer Bob, not the most observant man men are not observant,
- 27:01Speaker 1: but noticed something was off. Hey, Ethel, he said, since
- 27:05Speaker 1: when does our scarecrow have feathers? Tom quickly scrambled away,
- 27:12Speaker 1: leaving behind a pile of straw and the scarf he
- 27:16Speaker 1: had borrowed for the scarecrow. As the days passed, Tom
- 27:21Speaker 1: became even more inventive. He posed as a garden gnome,
- 27:24Speaker 1: complete with a pointy red hat, in a fishing pole.
- 27:28Speaker 1: He had close calls, but somehow managed to keep his
- 27:32Speaker 1: tail out of the friar. Thanksgiving morning came around and
- 27:36Speaker 1: Tom was hiding in playing sight, disguised as one of
- 27:41Speaker 1: the lawn decorations outside Farmer Bob's house. As the sun rose,
- 27:46Speaker 1: Tom watched the family bustle around the kitchen. Suddenly, a
- 27:49Speaker 1: car pulled up and outstepped Bob and Ethel's vegetarian cousin Linda,
- 27:55Speaker 1: holding a large toe ferkyrise, Linda exclaimed, waving the turfu
- 28:03Speaker 1: like it was a trophy. I brought Thanksgiving dinner. I
- 28:06Speaker 1: thought we'd give the real turkeys a break this year.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Tom breathed a sigh of relief, his feathers practically sparkling
- 28:14Speaker 1: pink with joy. He strutted around the yard, thinking he
- 28:18Speaker 1: was the luckiest turkey in town. From that Thanksgiving on,
- 28:24Speaker 1: Tom became something of a local legend. Every November he
- 28:28Speaker 1: disappeared into hiding, coming up with increasingly wacky disguises, and
- 28:34Speaker 1: every year he somehow manages to avoid becoming dinner, all
- 28:38Speaker 1: thanks to his quick thinking, sheer luck, and maybe just
- 28:43Speaker 1: a little help from cousin Linda and the toe Turkey.
- 28:47Speaker 1: And so Tom the Turkey gobbled on out, smarting farmers
- 28:51Speaker 1: and feasting on pumpkin seeds, forever grateful he had escaped
- 28:57Speaker 1: another Thanksgiving. So I hope that is a nice little
- 29:02Speaker 1: palate cleanser for you guys. We are coming up on Thanksgiving,
- 29:06Speaker 1: and I do love the thought of Tom the Turkey.
