Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome to OnlyFin's Q&A Live, a question and answer show as exclusive to OnlyFin.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: And Miami Dawkins discord server.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: Now here's your host, out.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: And we're on this OnlyFin's Q&A Live for February the 3rd, 2026.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: We did not do a show last week.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_01]: In case you didn't, you didn't hear.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_01]: because I was really, really, really sick.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_01]: So I couldn't speak really.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_01]: So, and you didn't see me on three YPC either last week.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, I was playing heart, ended up producing the slight of shows for the week, but I didn't say a word because I couldn't speak.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still kind of getting over it, but a much, much, much better now.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's Super Bowl week and every single year I was do this little exercise, which is I look back at the two Super Bowl teams There you can hear my little cough creep it in again And I try to see how the hell they got here, right and it's the Patriots.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_01]: It's the C-Ox now.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: Let's start with the C-Ox
- 1:06[SPEAKER_01]: How did the Seahawks get here?
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: Well, first of all, they built a monster roster over years, and I mean, years, over like six years, six drafts, six free agency periods, two quarterbacks, two head coaches, several offensive coordinators.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think it offers too much hope.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: Because they essentially, that build is essentially the ideal build, which is extremely hard to do.
- 1:42[SPEAKER_01]: And they got the right quarterback in Sam Donald.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_01]: After they thought they had the right one in Gino Smith.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: But that one doesn't offer too much hope.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: What does offer some hope is how the New England Patriots got here.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: After back to back four and 13 seasons, you would think, okay, now these guys just knocked out, you know, draft at the draft at the draft out of the park, right?
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_01]: So how did they get here?
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'll give you a little rundown here.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_01]: Okay?
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: We'll start in 2022 because in 2021, if you look for useful players in 2021, you ended up with a reminder of Stevenson and Christian Boermore, okay?
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's a very, very good player.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: The year before that, there's only one player left on the team from that that draft the year before.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_01]: And from 2019, there is none.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, in fact, Jake Bailey is from that draft.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's on the dolphins and he's pretty pretty good.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_01]: So you're talking about essentially getting two players from three years worth of draft.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to take 20, 22 on, right?
- 2:56[SPEAKER_01]: 20, 22, 22.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_01]: Their first round pick was called Strange.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: He's on the dolphins now.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_01]: Then Tyquan Thornton, Marcus Jones, Good Player, Jack Jones, Rimmer Ham,
- 3:08[SPEAKER_01]: Peer strong, no longer there, Bailey's Zappy, remember him?
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: Calvin Harris, Sam Roberts, Chase and Hines, and Restuber, a completely empty draft.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_01]: They got one useful player out of the entire draft.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_01]: Moving on, 23, huge hit at 17th overall, Christian Gonzalez.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: You got one of the best shethan corners in football.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_01]: Now you get Kiyon White, useful player.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_01]: Martin Mappu, useful player.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: Jake Andrews, okay, city south, Chad Rylan, Antonio Maffee, Kishan Bhute, Kishan Bhute is a nice player.
- 3:46[SPEAKER_01]: You know, for the back end of a wide receiver group, the mario Douglas, back end of a wide receiver group, as they uphold in Bryce Barrencher.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_01]: You get in the picture?
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: The following year is the big one, because they get tricked by third overall.
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: And he's ahead.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: But then they got jail in poke, Kate and Wallace later Robinson Javan Baker, Marcel Doug.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_01]: Are you, are you getting the drift here?
- 4:10[SPEAKER_01]: Jain Bell, Joe Milton?
- 4:12[SPEAKER_01]: They're getting nothing for many of these drafts.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_01]: 2025 World Campbell, who's been awful in the playoffs, and it was okay in the regular season.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: You know what?
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: And to be honest with you, I think that very strong possibility he's going to end up at guard, just like a lot of people felt he was gonna end up at guard.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: So, Jerry's out on him, but I guess you could say he's been okay.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: Treviah Henderson, I think it's a massive hit.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: Like, he's gonna be a really nice player for them for a very long time.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: The rest of the draft is what?
- 4:43[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle Williams, Jared Wilson, Craig Woodson, Joshua Farmer, Brandon Swinson, Andy Borrigales at kicker.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_01]: He's gonna be there for a long time, so that's a good kick.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good pick in the sixth round.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_01]: Marker's Bryant, Julian Assby, Kobe Miter.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_01]: Are you getting the drift here?
- 5:03[SPEAKER_01]: These are not great drafts that the, that, uh, doing a pictures have put together to get here.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_01]: But what they did do was spend like absolute drunk and sailors coming into this season.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I guess they hit, you know, Robert Spalains and nice player, Milton Williams, really nice player, Stefan Diggs, listen to these names and somehow they're here.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: So why are they here?
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: Well, obviously they want a ton of games.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: They took a bandit of a very soft schedule,
- 5:34[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, you can't really say, you know, hey, you know, they're a product of scheduling because, you know, the dolphins and other teams have had very, very favorable schedules as well.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_01]: So, by the way, somebody's mentioning, you know, the paths one to draft Jonah.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'll talk about that, sure enough on the second half of the show.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, how the hell are they here?
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's, you know, it's a mix of coaching.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_01]: And they got the right quarterback.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_01]: Quarback did have an MVP type season.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: And you get the soft schedule.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: So it's just a perfect, perfect storm.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_01]: Then the injuries in the playoffs, the right matchups, you get two home games in the playoffs.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: You play the the Broncos without their starting quarterback and you start to see you know how you could get on to this magic carpet right, which is something that never really happens for my amy does it so.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if you're wondering how these teams got here, you can't say that the Patriots just got here out of sheer luck, but I think Seattle is the team and that's the model, that's that's who you want to emulate.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: If you look at their drafts, those things are absolutely ridiculous, three, four, sometimes five deep in a draft, all useful players,
- 7:01[SPEAKER_01]: Then ever go out there and they spend big infreagency, they just really put like a finishing touch here or there They've actually gotten rid of some players traded away at DKMECK And when they traded and they were like, why would you do that?
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: You know, graphics are not going to run routes for you.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: Well, then then up running routes for them is what happened.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yes,
- 7:23[SPEAKER_01]: And they also hit on every single first round pick for like the last four years that's who you want to emulate that's who you want to be that's much more easier said than done
- 7:37[SPEAKER_01]: As far as any other dolphin news, there's not really much.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: They're putting the finishing touches on this coaching staff.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'm interested to see how they fill out the rest of the front office because as of right now, if you look at a directory, there is no director of scouting.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: And who's the pro personal guy?
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: Like we don't know anything right now.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll learn more
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: Going to I guess the the combine I guess they'll they'll they'll release actual titles for certain guys and maybe they'll finish hiring everybody in the front office But as of right now We don't know who these guys are right?
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: All right, we're going to go to break and when we come back, we will take your questions on the other side of the break.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_01]: This is going to be an abbreviated show for a solid super bowl week, second of all, I am still a little bit under the way where I, whether I am recovering.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I can't speak for a very, very long time.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_01]: But if you get your questions in the chat, we will get to every single one of them.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to participate in these shows, you got to go to Discord.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: And you go to discord.gg forward slash only fins, and become a member of their all access for $4.99 a month, do it on a desktop, avoid the Apple upcharges.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_01]: Financial resolutions are great, and that's welcome, upside back to the show, they'll be with us for the most part, this offseason.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: But let's be real, but just don't reset on January 1st, between post holiday credit card bills and getting back into your regularly routine cash this tight.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_01]: That's why there's upside.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_01]: The free upside app gets you cash back on cash, groceries, and dining.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_01]: The three things that drain your wallet right now.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_01]: Over 100,000 participating locations means cash back.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_01]: Opportunities are everywhere you already go.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_01]: And yes, it's cash back.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: Not points you'll never use, not credits, that expire, money you transfer straight to your bank account.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's how it works, and I've used it, and I've used it all the time, and I still use it all the time, every time I put gas.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: All you gotta do is you put it, you go into your app, you select the gas station and you can get going right away.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: You don't have to marry your cards to the app.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: The app will recognize that you spent money at this gas station and it's a participating gas station.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: And you get cash back, simple as that.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_01]: I learned right away when I put like thirty-one dollars in gas.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: I filled up the tank and 24 hours later.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: I almost wondered like okay am I getting anything back?
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: I'm boom there.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_01]: It is $30.15.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: Showed up in my upside account.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: Here's how I work open that claim and offer pay with your card like normal and get paid That's it simple as that you'll earn three times more cash back with upside down with loyalty programs or credit card rewards alone
- 10:27[SPEAKER_01]: Upside is giving back $1 billion to its users and to find out how much you can earn download the free upside app and use a promo code 3 yards and number 3 yards to get an extra 25 cents back for every gallon on your first tank a gas.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's an extra 25 cents back for every gallon on your first tank a gas using the promo code 3 yards.
- 10:47[SPEAKER_01]: That's upside.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_01]: And of course welcome back underdog.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: Football playoffs are here, and the big game is here, and underdog is the best place to get in on all the great Iron Action.
- 10:59[SPEAKER_01]: Playing underdog is easy, just pick whether your favorite player will go higher or lower on stats like touchdowns, receiving yards, and exceptions, and more.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: If your picks right, you can win up to 5,000 times your cash.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: If you follow me on this thing,
- 11:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pretty damn good.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_01]: I can get surgical with my picks every single week.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: At one point I had hit four weeks in a row with my choices and I was give you I was give you basically a parlay.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_01]: I give you two things to pick and I got two right here Jackson Smith and Jitba JSN Higher point five touchdowns in this game Remindry Stevenson
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: and this one's this one's key rushing attempts 14.5 is the number that they have.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_01]: I like lower than 14.5 rush attempts for a reminder of Stevenson.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_01]: in this big game.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_01]: So those are my two.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_01]: So what are you waiting for?
- 11:57[SPEAKER_01]: That allowed the app today and you use the promo code three yards, the number three yards, the score 75 dollars, and bonus entries when you play your first $5.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's promo code three yards, underdog, made picks, win money.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: Must be 18 plus, 19 plus in Alabama in Nebraska, 19 plus in Colorado for some games, turn on plus in Arizona, Massachusetts, and Virginia, and present in a state where underdog fantasy operates.

- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: And we are back.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: Let's take your your questions on this side.
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: If you still have more questions, you could populate the chat and I will get to every single one of them.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: Again, if you want to participate, you got to go to our discord.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_01]: Become a member of our discord discord.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_01]: discord.gg forward slash only fins.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_01]: You become a member of their all access for 4.99 a month.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: Do it on a desktop, avoid the Apple upcharges.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_01]: All right, first question.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: Do you know of any potential bargain signings in free agency that Miami may pursue?
- 13:15[SPEAKER_01]: I expect free agency to be boring.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: It will be.
- 13:18[SPEAKER_01]: Do you think Minko will be back next year and does he fit half least defensive?
- 13:21[SPEAKER_01]: That's a second question.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_01]: All right, bargain signings.
- 13:24[SPEAKER_01]: I do like one in particular.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_01]: And he's a Green Bay Packer Sean Ryan, offensive guard.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_01]: That's a guy.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_01]: I do like if you want a sexy name and I'm looking at it right here.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_01]: Look, I do expect something like, um,
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: and Eric Stokes from Las Vegas corner back for the back end of the corner back room why because these guys ended up trafficking, they basically drafted him.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_01]: Will they bring back Russell Douglas?
- 13:52[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good one, right?
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not so sure.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm trying to look like where is going to be the big expenditure?
- 14:00[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe on a
- 14:04[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe that makes a little bit of sense, but as far as big money, are they really going to go out to throw it away from the chargers?
- 14:12[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think he'll resign.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_01]: I think he'll spend a lot of money on LKD Muhammad from Detroit.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_01]: I doubt it as well.
- 14:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm trying to look here, like Sean Ryan is one that, you know, put that one in your back pocket.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think that that's one that that might even happen for sure.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_01]: But other than that, man, like they're not going to spend big on George Pickins.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_01]: That's not happening.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_01]: Debo Samuels, a guy I would have seen.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: Probably happening here.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: It might be Daniel was still here.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that that's something that's gonna happen any more As far as who is a good a good pick look.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: I mentioned them in the first half of the show Just take one thorton do anything for you for the why receiver room.
- 15:00[SPEAKER_01]: How about Kendrick board?
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're not talking about spending a lot of money here, man.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like, we're not talking about, and we're also not talking about a very, very rich class, as well.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: This little Jordan Humphrey of Denver do anything for you.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: Those are like the wide receivers like I don't think it was been for Christine Kirk I think he's going to get too much money.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he is a fit but yeah, if you want to pick a guy Sean Ryan guard.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_01]: I do like him.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: I like him, and I think that that's something that I think he's a fit is a need and He's a guy that's probably going to go in pretty well with this group
- 15:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to look at the rest of this list, I'm trying to look at the tackles, does this any of this actually make any sense and it really does not, like it's not a great great group.
- 16:00[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, somebody mentions Kingsley in a barri.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, that's a, that's a, that's a, that's a shout.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_01]: How about Josh Niamon?
- 16:08[SPEAKER_01]: Josh Niamon is another guy I got drafted by this group.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_01]: Josh Niamon, he's in Carolina right now was not a starter.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_01]: Can he start for you at one of the guard spots?
- 16:17[SPEAKER_01]: Well, judging by how Jonah played this past year.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think he's a guy that, that would, that would play here.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, the next part of this question was, do you think Minka will be back next year and does he fit half these defense?
- 16:32[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, he absolutely fits half these defense because of how half he likes to start his coverages.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_01]: He likes to roll into cover two while starting in single hive.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, I think he's a good fit.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think Mink is a pretty damn good fit for this scheme.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know, I think we were like to start in cover two and then roll into other coverages.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_01]: It's, it's inverted here.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_01]: So you want to guy, I want to have a guy that's going to be in the middle of the field at all times to start, you know, pre-snap and give the quarterback something to think about, give him a look.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I think he's a pretty damn good fit.
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: Well, he'd be here.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: They're gonna have to make a decision on his money.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_01]: They're not, oh, he's not old any money.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're looking for savings, that's one place you are gonna go get savings from.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: Next question, potential Miami hurricane targets in the middle to late rounds that could fit on the fence.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: Good question.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_01]: middle to late rounds.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: I like in this Cooper a little bit at guard.
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: Nah, I don't think he's a guy that he's just going to pencil in.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the obvious ones are a keymeasored or not.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: And, and Kiyante Scott, but I think that those are those are top 100 guys.
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: A key message that I think is a top 30 guy can I take Scott in my opinion is a top 50 guy But I could see how if he doesn't run well He could actually drop into Like in the 90 range But he's absolutely a top 100 player
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: But in the middle rounds, I like miscooper.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_01]: I like a miscooper at guard.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's, you know, big, uh, he's going to fit with what they want to do, go and forward.
- 18:20[SPEAKER_01]: So I think he's a pretty decent developmental guard.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: And I think he would start in the pinch.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_01]: He has a lot of, there's a lot of college experience.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_01]: Other than that, you know, I like I like Wesley Basane as a special team's player.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_01]: He's an absolute killer comes downhill So yeah, look man, it's it's an awesome hurricane's class.
- 18:43[SPEAKER_01]: I like it all.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_01]: I like to Kobe Thomas
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, if you're sitting there in the seventh round, like, you know, how much worse can you do than a Jacobi Thomas for your, your secondary group to be a backup safe to be a backup free safety.
- 18:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm fine with that.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_01]: I like every single one of these hurricanes that are coming out this year.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_01]: This is a fabulous fabulous class.
- 19:15[SPEAKER_01]: I wouldn't use too high of a pick because he's definitely a developmental guy.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think he's a great fit for what they're going to want to do, but you know, good college players are good college players, right?
- 19:27[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, if you want one name, I like an S Cooper.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's a guy who you can put that one in your back pocket along with Sean Ryan.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like those are two names, put those two in your back pocket, who knows, you might even have two starting guards, you know, Sean Ryan and an S Cooper.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_01]: But keep those two in mind, they're good fits, good players, and especially Sean Ryan is not going to be too expensive, and I think he would grab a starting spot right away.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_01]: Next question, assuming we go after Malik Willis, that's a good assumption that everybody keeps talking about it.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_01]: How will we provide him with a fair chance of success, and we have to strip the roster down and replace guys like Chub, AJ, Minka,
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: I would expect you're going to replace Austin Jackson and if you don't he'll be here for the year So I don't think you'll be here much much farther than one year I think this Austin Jackson thing is gonna as well in your left on the meter
- 20:29[SPEAKER_01]: But, you know, you don't really have to strip everything down.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of talent on offense.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: Like you can sprinkle in a little bit of talent.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: You have a full draft to add talent with.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_01]: And you have one of your deals you can hand out to get yourself some good players.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_01]: You know, remember what the team look like at its bestest past season?
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: They look kind of like a 500 team, right?
- 20:49[SPEAKER_01]: They look like a team that could make a run at 8 and 9 and 8, right?
- 20:54[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's what you're hoping for this first season.
- 20:57[SPEAKER_01]: I understand people keep talking about, oh yeah, you want to tank, you want to be awful.
- 21:03[SPEAKER_01]: Nobody ever learns from tanking, nobody ever learns from being an absolutely awful.
- 21:09[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, the players don't want it.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_01]: Second of all, why would the players give a crap about a draft pick that, you know, that's likely to replace them?
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: So...
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: you want to win something you want to be competitive that first year you want to start building that culture because culture never gets built through a bunch of losing like that's something that just doesn't happen uh next question do you actually think the patch wanted to drive Jonah if we didn't train up yep that's the that's the rumor and it's more than a one more than a few patch beat guys have mentioned it
- 21:45[SPEAKER_01]: Seems like we saved them considering Jonah doesn't not seem salvageable based on your tape review.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm not so sure that that's going to work out for Jonah's divine.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_01]: If it does work out for him this year, then consider it a surprise.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: Bigger need these offices in offensive line, past rush or defensive secondary.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_01]: Past rush or they need help on edge.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: They don't have much.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_01]: Look, I don't think Bradley Trump's going to be here.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: Definitely nothing else.
- 22:13[SPEAKER_01]: Where's he got?
- 22:13[SPEAKER_01]: Chop Robinson?
- 22:14[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we're dealing with here, so the cupboard is bare on the edge, so the guy to spend probably two draft picks and probably a little bit of free agent dollars on a guide to help on the rotation.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: uh... somebody rights uh... shan Ryan will be a good one i think yes uh... i think he would work i don't think he will be super cheap and he writes i definitely think they will be super cheap out of necessity yes of course shan right now i don't think it's going to be super super cheap can you get them in here on a two-year-time million dollar deal i think that i think that makes me feel pretty good about the whole situation two-year-time million
- 22:58[SPEAKER_01]: maybe half of that guaranteed and you get yourself a starter and the best case in areas some of these guys develop and then you don't need them as a start and then you got a high-end swing guard so yeah somebody writes Kingsley and Ikbari yeah he wrote this earlier might be someone they target I just feel like if we go after Malik you try to upgrade the talent around him and see what he can do absolutely
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: uh... next question i think this is going to be the last one here what happened to chop Robinson after his promising rookie year he started getting injured got injured in in training camp and then really never recovered even when he was healthy he wasn't effective at all it's essentially a lost season for chop Robinson look i don't think that that scheme was doing him at any favor's either now this scheme it's gonna help him a ton
- 23:48[SPEAKER_01]: That's gonna help chop Robertson play and he's gonna have a ton of opportunities to rush the passer on third down All right, we're gonna end it right here.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, let me see if there's any other questions.
- 23:59[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, somebody adds Any other staff rumors or coaches you think we we add have a scene of past game coordinator name no have not and I'm not so sure I'm not so sure they're gonna bring one on maybe they bring on a nano list.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_01]: We shall see
- 24:15[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't had a very, very good beat on what they're trying to do with this coaching staff.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_01]: There's essentially just taking guys from Green Bay and College, as of right now, I think they have what?
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: Three?
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: From College right now?
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: Three coaches?
- 24:30[SPEAKER_01]: From College?
- 24:31[SPEAKER_01]: Three unit coaches?
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: From College?
- 24:33[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, I'm not so sure what they're doing with that.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's entirely possible that they don't have.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_01]: a past-game coordinator and they just bring on an analyst You know, and when I say analysts it's like a consultant You know like they bring some I don't know like who could it be?
- 24:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know somebody from somebody who's aged and Has a lot of experience something like that
- 24:57[SPEAKER_01]: All right, that's it.
