- 2:03Nora: [LAUGHTER]
- 2:04Charles: And I am your host,
- 2:06Charles: Charles Joseph Kelly.
- 2:09Nora: And I'm Nora.
- 2:10Charles: Hello,
- 2:10Charles: Nora.
- 2:11Nora: Hi.
- 2:12Charles: We did it.
- 2:12Nora: We did it.
- 2:13Charles: And we're live.
- 2:14Charles: Hey.
- 2:14Charles: Mandy,
- 2:15Charles: you're doing a great job.
- 2:16Mandy: Look, it's a struggle,
- 2:18Mandy: but hopefully we're getting there.
- 2:19Nora: Yeah.
- 2:19Charles: We've got it.
- 2:20Charles: We're live.
- 2:21Charles: We have our show notes.
- 2:23Charles: All of the videos are working.
- 2:25Nora: We're doing it.
- 2:25Charles: We're doing the show.
- 2:26Nora: We're doing the thing.
- 2:27Charles: We're doing it.
- 2:28Charles: And I'm so proud of you.
- 2:29Charles: Yeah.
- 2:29Charles: We had one-
- 2:30Mandy: Only some tears.
- 2:31Mandy: Only some.
- 2:32Nora: Only like three.
- 2:34Charles: Just a little-
- 2:36Charles: A little-
- 2:37Charles: Squeeze.
- 2:37Charles: Squeeze of tears.
- 2:39Charles: Just a single teardrop running down your face.
- 2:42Mandy: Just the one.
- 2:43Nora: Each of us had one.
- 2:44Nora: Yeah.
- 2:45Nora: Yeah.
- 2:46Nora: So-
- 2:47Charles: How are you guys doing?
- 2:47Charles: We're both on our phones right now.
- 2:49Charles: Well, I have my notes.
- 2:50Charles: I have my notes.
- 2:51Charles: You got this.
- 2:51Nora: I have my notes.
- 2:52Nora: I'm good, how are you?
- 2:53Charles: I'm good,
- 2:54Charles: Mandy, how are you doing?
- 2:56Mandy: So stressed.
- 2:57Mandy: (laughing)
- 2:57Charles: You got this.
- 2:58Mandy: I shouldn't be left alone.
- 2:59Charles: No, you're fine.
- 3:01Nora: Oh man.
- 3:02Charles: You should cut to the other camera real quick.
- 3:04Charles: Oh. - Camera two,
- 3:05Charles: 'cause of how-- - It's not even on.
- 3:07Charles: It's not on yours? - No.
- 3:09Nora: Okay, good,
- 3:10Nora: 'cause it's just doing the thing
- 3:12Nora: that it's broken and doing.
- 3:13Charles: It's so great, it's such a good angle.
- 3:15Mandy: Oh, that one, oh, I can switch to that one.
- 3:17Charles: Oh, it's gone now.
- 3:18Charles: Oh yeah, it's gone. - It's gone now.
- 3:20Nora: Just,
- 3:20Nora: psh, dead. - It just completely died.
- 3:22Mandy: I thought you meant the little Chris cam.
- 3:26Mandy: Oh.
- 3:27Mandy: I didn't put that in.
- 3:28Charles: I miss the Chris cam.
- 3:30Charles: You know what?
- 3:31Charles: We need to actually have little Chris
- 3:34Charles: as like whenever he's in the studio,
- 3:37Charles: he's back and he has the mic.
- 3:39Charles: I want little Chris all the time.
- 3:41Nora: All the time.
- 3:42Charles: All the time.
- 3:43Mandy: I mean,
- 3:43Mandy: I agree,
- 3:45Mandy: but then you have me controlling the buttons all the time
- 3:47Mandy: and we just saw how that works.
- 3:49Charles: No, it works so well.
- 3:50Charles: You're doing such a good job.
- 3:51Nora: You're doing a really good job.
- 3:52Charles: The issues that we had were my fault.
- 3:55Charles: (laughing)
- 3:55Mandy: I mean,
- 3:57Mandy: we can blame you for it.
- 3:58Charles: No, you should blame me for it
- 3:59Charles: because I didn't create the live stream earlier today.
- 4:04Charles: (laughing)
- 4:04Mandy: Little things like going live,
- 4:06Mandy: we don't need to worry about that.
- 4:08Mandy: Right.
- 4:09Nora: Right, don't worry about the live stream.
- 4:10Mandy: Yeah.
- 4:11Nora: Yeah.
- 4:11Charles: Nora really wants to talk about how she's doing.
- 4:13Charles: I can see it, like they're buzzing over here.
- 4:16Charles: You're just like, I wanna talk about
- 4:18Charles: what's going on in my life.
- 4:20Nora: I am buzzing. Yeah, no.
- 4:22Nora: Two. So we haven't been here for two weeks. This is our last
- 4:26Nora: week.
- 4:26Nora: So two weekends ago, I went to the giant pumpkin way off and it was awesome.
- 4:32Nora: And I
- 4:32Nora: forgot to put photos in the rundown.
- 4:35Nora: So I am very sorry.
- 4:38Nora: The pumpkins were ginormous.
- 4:39Nora: The biggest at our local way off was 2,205 pounds,
- 4:44Nora: I believe was the biggest pumpkin.
- 4:47Charles: 2200 pounds?
- 4:48Nora: Yeah.
- 4:49Charles: Like a ton?
- 4:50Nora: Yeah,
- 4:50Nora: like a ton of pumpkin.
- 4:52Nora: And so you know how when we watched the pumpkinista,
- 4:55Nora: she said that there was like,
- 4:56Nora: there's like a chart that you can do.
- 4:58Nora: You can calculate how much they approximately weigh
- 5:01Nora: based on their like circumference
- 5:02Nora: and how generally how big they are.
- 5:05Nora: Our pumpkins were weighing 20 to 50 pounds heavier
- 5:08Nora: than estimated.
- 5:09Charles: Whoa.
- 5:09Charles: So the balls were thicker,
- 5:11Nora: my children and I went,
- 5:12Nora: the pumpkins were just like,
- 5:14Nora: they were huge.
- 5:14Nora: They were sitting on like pallets
- 5:16Nora: filling up the entire palette.
- 5:18Nora: It was very excellent. I think the real question
- 5:21Mandy: the listeners have is did they turn the pumpkins into boats afterwards?
- 5:26Charles: Yeah.
- 5:27Nora: Not
- 5:27Nora: boats here. We don't do boats.
- 5:29Nora: I don't think they even smashed the pumpkins.
- 5:34Nora: That's the whole band name. I have videos later for celebrating giant pumpkins in
- 5:40Nora: general. Okay good. Don't worry I'm not not excluding it.
- 5:43Nora: It was just you know not
- 5:45Nora: part of the event that I went to.
- 5:48Nora: But the pumpkins were big.
- 5:49Nora: They were very big.
- 5:51Charles: Mandy, how was your couple of weeks since we've done the show?
- 5:54Mandy: It happened.
- 5:55Mandy: Things happened.
- 5:57Mandy: Not all good.
- 5:59Mandy: There was a death in the family in the form of
- 6:03Mandy: our little baby Fiona.
- 6:05Mandy: So she passed.
- 6:06Mandy: So not to be a downer.
- 6:07Mandy: But anyways,
- 6:08Mandy: I went and saw Lucy,
- 6:09Mandy: darling mm-hmm and surprising no one halfway through I got bored I found out
- 6:18Mandy: the problem though I love Lucy darling on YouTube right but those are like
- 6:23Nora: minute-long clips yeah yeah picks the best ones yep and I watch those
- 6:28Mandy: minute long clips on two times speed.
- 6:31Charles: Oh,
- 6:34Charles: wait,
- 6:34Charles: do you watch YouTube on 2x speed?
- 6:39Nora: Wow.
- 6:40Charles: Like I know it's possible.
- 6:42Mandy: Now the time with all the love in my heart. I tell everyone and
- 6:45Mandy: confess.
- 6:46Mandy: I watch you on two times speed.
- 6:49Nora: I watch most things in Yeah,
- 6:51Nora: high speed,
- 6:53Nora: actually a podcast.
- 6:54Nora: You can get podcasts up to like 1.5, 2, and 2 times speed.
- 6:58Charles: There is a,
- 6:59Charles: okay,
- 6:59Charles: I went to see,
- 7:00Charles: you can see everything,
- 7:01Charles: Nora went as well,
- 7:03Charles: and we'll talk about it more.
- 7:05Charles: Quick spoiler,
- 7:06Charles: when I take my hands down,
- 7:09Charles: there's no more spoilers.
- 7:11Charles: So you can mute yourself if you're wanting to see this.
- 7:14Charles: But we're gonna talk full spoilers later in the show.
- 7:17Charles: But for right now,
- 7:18Charles: this is the spoiler hands.
- 7:19Charles: When I put them down,
- 7:21Charles: we're done talking about spoilers.
- 7:22Charles: So spoilers,
- 7:24Charles: he listens to all of his podcasts,
- 7:26Charles: like the husband of the Theranos woman.
- 7:29Charles: He listens to all of these podcasts
- 7:31Charles: on like 2X, 3X speed. - Out loud.
- 7:33Charles: Out loud,
- 7:34Charles: and it is incomprehensible.
- 7:37Nora: It's so embarrassing because like,
- 7:40Nora: he is running a biotech company
- 7:43Nora: and learning the basics of biochemistry.
- 7:46Nora: Like the basics.
- 7:47Nora: Oh no.
- 7:47Nora: He's going through college courses in biochem.
- 7:50Nora: Like it's embarrassing for him.
- 7:52Mandy: Not a good look.
- 7:53Mandy: Not a good look.
- 7:53Charles: Okay,
- 7:54Charles: hands down, no more spoilers.
- 7:58Mandy: The actor once busted me watching it on two times speed
- 8:01Mandy: and was really horrified at Nora.
- 8:05Mandy: (laughing)
- 8:09Charles: I can't even imagine.
- 8:12Nora: I mean, my brain usually thinks in two times speed anyway
- 8:15Nora: so that's usually how fast I talk.
- 8:17Mandy: Let's just say I would do it live if I could,
- 8:20Mandy: I've learned.
- 8:22Charles: Talking about you, before we went live the second time when we were trying to figure out the issues,
- 8:30Charles: we heard you talking to yourself in this room.
- 8:32Nora: Yeah.
- 8:33Charles: And the intern went ahead and said,
- 8:37Charles: "Do you want me to go stand in there so it looks like she's talking to somebody?"
- 8:41Nora: Oh, I talk to myself all the time.
- 8:46Charles: It was...
- 8:47Nora: I'm not afraid to look like I'm talking to myself either.
- 8:50Charles: It was hilarious.
- 8:51Charles: (laughing)
- 8:52Mandy: That's too funny.
- 8:53Charles: That was very funny.
- 8:54Nora: I mean, I talk to my dog and people laugh at me
- 8:56Nora: for talking to my dog.
- 8:59Nora: You know,
- 9:00Nora: "Oh, it's dinner time.
- 9:01Nora: "I bet your tummy's really hungry."
- 9:03Nora: Yeah, she totally knows what I'm saying
- 9:04Nora: when I say those words.
- 9:05Charles: Yeah.
- 9:06Mandy: So Charles,
- 9:06Mandy: how are you?
- 9:07Mandy: How have you been for these past two weeks?
- 9:11Mandy: (laughing)
- 9:12Charles: Well, just to give two thumbs up
- 9:14Charles: because my world is,
- 9:17Charles: is,
- 9:18Charles: is,
- 9:18Charles: is,
- 9:19Nora: Life is lifing.
- 9:20Charles: It's a trolley problem that I have to figure out
- 9:24Charles: who is going to end up dead.
- 9:27Charles: And there's no chance for me not to push it
- 9:30Charles: one way or the other.
- 9:31Charles: It's gotta go a direction.
- 9:33Charles: And that trolley is-
- 9:35Nora: Barreling.
- 9:36Charles: Barreling on through life.
- 9:38Charles: So it's a delight.
- 9:40Charles: But I went to see the movie last night.
- 9:46Charles: You can see everything.
- 9:48Charles: and I've got this amazing popcorn bucket
- 9:51Charles: from the "Street Fighter"
- 9:52Charles: movie.
- 9:53Charles: Amazing.
- 9:53Charles: It's so good,
- 9:55Charles: and there are snacks inside my head
- 9:57Charles: right now,
- 9:58Charles: which is delightful.
- 10:00Nora: We've got Johnny Bravo over here.
- 10:02Charles: Yeah,
- 10:03Charles: I also came a little underprepared this week
- 10:09Charles: because of just life stuff.
- 10:11Charles: However,
- 10:11Charles: what I was going to do,
- 10:13Charles: because the last time that we had this show,
- 10:16Charles: Nora was shit talking corgis for like 20 minutes.
- 10:19Nora: Yes!
- 10:20Mandy: Like a horrible human!
- 10:22Charles: Yeah,
- 10:22Charles: yeah.
- 10:23Charles: And I was gonna bring only corgi content this week.
- 10:26Nora: I don't recall,
- 10:27Nora: I don't recall 20 minutes.
- 10:30Charles: Roll the tape,
- 10:31Charles: roll the tape because-
- 10:34Nora: I said one sentence,
- 10:35Nora: one sentence.
- 10:36Charles: It was more than one sentence.
- 10:38Nora: No,
- 10:39Nora: it was one sentence with just
- 10:40Nora: a semi-colon in the middle.
- 10:42Charles: You told the story about how you found yourself
- 10:45Charles: in the middle of the tour to Corgi and you hate Corgis.
- 10:50Nora: I didn't say I hate Corgis, that's just not for me.
- 10:52Mandy: She said she hates Corgis.
- 10:54Mandy: And then went on a rant about all little dogs.
- 10:56Charles: Yeah,
- 10:57Charles: all little dogs should be put down,
- 11:00Charles: I think is the words that you use.
- 11:01Mandy: She said she likes to kick them if they're near her.
- 11:05Nora: Yeah,
- 11:06Nora: no, I think,
- 11:06Nora: okay, you know, you're right.
- 11:07Nora: I think I did say that actually.
- 11:09Mandy: I'm pretty sure she killed my dog.
- 11:12Charles: Oh no!
- 11:13Charles: Oh God.
- 11:14Mandy: Oh no. - Is it too soon?
- 11:16Mandy: It might be a little too soon. - Maybe.
- 11:18Charles: These are not what Nora has said.
- 11:20Charles: Nora was just very much,
- 11:21Charles: I think the way that you came off
- 11:23Charles: was that you didn't like corgis,
- 11:25Charles: but the words that you used were very much like,
- 11:28Charles: "Yeah, they're fine.
- 11:30Charles: "They're a fine breed."
- 11:32Charles: But the way that you came off,
- 11:33Charles: you were like, "Yeah, they're a fine breed."
- 11:35Nora: They're fine.
- 11:35Mandy: I felt like it was stronger.
- 11:37Mandy: They're great dogs. - I think the sentiment
- 11:38Mandy: was stronger. - They're just not for me.
- 11:39Charles: That's what-- - They're great dogs.
- 11:41Nora: They're just not for me.
- 11:42Charles: That's-- - That's all.
- 11:43Charles: That's the words that you used.
- 11:45Charles: Your tone was very different.
- 11:48Nora: They're just not for me.
- 11:49Nora: I don't know what you're talking about.
- 11:50Mandy: They exist on the same planet as me, I guess.
- 11:54Charles: I guess they have to.
- 11:56Charles: Whatever is.
- 11:58Charles: [LAUGHTER]
- 12:00Mandy: Hey, so should we do some Around the Net?
- 12:02Nora: I think so.
- 12:03Charles: I think it's about time.
- 12:04Mandy: Yeah.
- 12:10Mandy: Around the Net.
- 12:13Nora: All right,
- 12:14Nora: I've got some good ones for us this week.
- 12:15Nora: We have some fall themed ones, we have some funny ones, we have some updates.
- 12:20Nora: First thing that we're going to start with is the update for Boy Thrub that we've all
- 12:25Nora: been waiting for.
- 12:26Mandy: Have we?
- 12:26Nora: Darshon is here.
- 12:27Charles: I have.
- 12:28Nora: Darshon is here.
- 12:29Mandy: Okay,
- 12:30Mandy: here we go.
- 12:49Nora: He's three apples tall.
- 12:51Charles: He's so tiny.
- 12:52Charles: [LAUGHTER]
- 12:55Mandy: It doesn't help that they put him in the back.
- 12:57Charles: Right.
- 12:58Mandy: It makes it worse.
- 13:01Charles: He knows the choreography,
- 13:02Charles: he's rocking it.
- 13:04Mandy: I mean,
- 13:05Mandy: I think I know the choreography now.
- 13:08Mandy: [LAUGHS]
- 13:10Nora: Yeah, no, he's great.
- 13:11Nora: [MUSIC - "ONE, TWO, THREE, TOGETHER"]
- 13:11Nora: (SINGING) It's so much better when we're one,
- 13:14Nora: two,
- 13:15Nora: three,
- 13:16Nora: together.
- 13:17Mandy: He really did him dirty, though, by putting it in the back.
- 13:19Charles: Yeah.
- 13:21Mandy: Like, really.
- 13:22Mandy: (SINGING) Together.
- 13:23Mandy: [MUSIC - "ONE, TWO, THREE, TOGETHER"]
- 13:25Charles: People are-- that is a pretty packed mall.
- 13:29Nora: Yeah,
- 13:29Nora: right?
- 13:31Nora: No one ever.
- 13:31Nora: (laughing)
- 13:32Charles: Yeah,
- 13:33Charles: I mean,
- 13:36Charles: selling out a mall is a thing,
- 13:39Charles: I guess.
- 13:40Charles: No, it was a free concert,
- 13:41Charles: right?
- 13:41Nora: Yeah, they're going on a road trip.
- 13:43Nora: This is the first stop on their road trip.
- 13:45Charles: Are they coming to Colorado?
- 13:46Nora: I signed up for their text messages,
- 13:48Nora: and if they do, we aren't gonna miss it.
- 13:49Charles: Okay,
- 13:50Charles: cool.
- 13:51Nora: Yep.
- 13:51Mandy: I might be sick.
- 13:55Charles: Nora and I have got this.
- 13:57Charles: We've got this.
- 13:58Charles: Whoa,
- 13:58Charles: whoa.
- 13:59Nora: I need to get some Boys Rob merch.
- 14:00Nora: We should make our own pink shirts with Boy Throb on them.
- 14:04Nora: They would love that.
- 14:05Charles: Yeah.
- 14:06Nora: Yeah,
- 14:06Nora: I love Boy Throb.
- 14:07Nora: And I remember when I first brought them
- 14:09Nora: and you were like,
- 14:10Nora: I think it's a bit,
- 14:12Nora: you were a hater at first.
- 14:14Charles: I think they announced that it's not Nathan Fielder
- 14:17Charles: behind it, but there is somebody else behind it.
- 14:19Charles: Okay.
- 14:20Charles: They've actually sleuthed down
- 14:21Charles: that it was originally a bit, but now it's not.
- 14:24Nora: It's a thing because they're just,
- 14:25Nora: they're really good.
- 14:26Charles: Yeah.
- 14:26Nora: Yeah, and I love how much Anthony has a passion for it.
- 14:30Charles: Ah, there it is. - Look at this camera.
- 14:31Nora: There it is.
- 14:33Nora: Yeah, I think my favorite thing about Darshan visiting
- 14:37Nora: is he spoke Hindi with Mayor Mamdani
- 14:39Nora: and I thought that that was just like really,
- 14:42Nora: we love you Mayor Mamdani.
- 14:44Nora: That's my mayor right there,
- 14:45Nora: New York City,
- 14:47Nora: Mayor Mamdani.
- 14:48Charles: Do you know the mayor of Fort Collins?
- 14:49Nora: No.
- 14:52Nora: Probably should.
- 14:53Charles: Yeah, you probably should. - Probably should.
- 14:55Nora: Okay,
- 14:56Nora: I have an excellent noise
- 14:57Nora: that I wanted to share next.
- 14:58Nora: This guy has a really good microphone.
- 15:01Nora: So this is some electrical tape.
- 15:05Video: Hello,
- 15:05Video: you're about to witness the highest quality sound recording on TikTok of unraveling
- 15:09Video: brown hex number 4F38-2E electrical tape.
- 15:21Video: (fireworks exploding)
- 15:28Video: Thank you very much for watching.
- 15:29Mandy: Okay,
- 15:30Mandy: so I'm not the right kind of neurodivergent
- 15:33Mandy: for this sort of stuff normally,
- 15:35Mandy: but I did like that noise.
- 15:36Charles: Yeah, it was a pretty good noise.
- 15:38Charles: Pew!
- 15:38Mandy: It's a good noise.
- 15:40Nora: Yep,
- 15:41Nora: yeah,
- 15:41Nora: exactly.
- 15:42Nora: I just had to share.
- 15:43Charles: Did you look up any of his other content?
- 15:45Nora: The one that I have been following most recently is the trying to get the sound of a soccer
- 15:51Nora: ball hitting the metal goalpost.
- 15:54Nora: He had to work really hard and he kept failing and he had to enlist a real soccer player
- 15:58Nora: to do it because he kept breaking his microphone.
- 16:01Charles: Oh my God.
- 16:03Charles: Those microphones are so expensive.
- 16:05Charles: That microphone is like probably like thousands of dollars at a minimum.
- 16:10Nora: Yeah, it was pretty funny.
- 16:12Nora: All right, speaking of politics and mayoral things,
- 16:19Nora: you guys might've seen it,
- 16:20Nora: but I think this is actually like Parks and Rec
- 16:22Nora: and we're like in,
- 16:24Nora: we're in Parks and Rec.
- 16:25Charles: Okay. - I like it.
- 16:27Video: And that's what I have to say about that.
- 16:29Video: Okay,
- 16:30Video: and our last question of the night is,
- 16:32Video: if elected,
- 16:33Video: what is one decision that you expect to make
- 16:36Video: that may be unpopular with some voters,
- 16:38Video: but you believe ultimately would be in the best interest
- 16:41Video: Fayette County.
- 16:44Video: I wouldn't raise your taxes.
- 16:48Video: What is the one decision that I
- 16:50Video: would make... hmm... repeat that again.
- 16:55Video: What is the one decision that I would make that
- 16:56Video: might not be popular with Fayette County? That may be unpopular with some voters, but is in the
- 17:01Video: best interest of the county.
- 17:11Video: Hmm...
- 17:12Video: I don't even talk to him. I don't like him.
- 17:15Video: I mean, they voted against our own state representative
- 17:19Video: voted against her own party. Is she drunk?
- 17:23Mandy: Is she on meth?
- 17:25Video: What do you want me to say?
- 17:27Video: I don't like being around him.
- 17:28Video: I mean,
- 17:29Video: y'all did this to us. You all voted for us. You
- 17:32Video: made this happen. This ice coming into our communities,
- 17:38Video: stealing people's jobs.
- 17:40Video: I mean,
- 17:40Video: Um,
- 17:42Video: uh...
- 17:44Video: (laughter)
- 17:48Video: My...
- 17:50Video: MAGA,
- 17:51Video: we'll call 'em.
- 17:51Video: Because there's Republicans
- 17:55Video: who actually get it,
- 17:57Video: you know?
- 17:58Video: There are good Republicans out there,
- 18:00Video: but then there's these MAGAs,
- 18:02Video: who are just racist. - Who are these MAGAs?
- 18:05Video: And aren't very intelligent at all.
- 18:09Video: They call you names.
- 18:10Mandy: Did they give her a quanta pin before going on this?
- 18:13Video: sheriff's nephew trying to blow my head off.
- 18:16Video: But you know,
- 18:17Video: what are you gonna do?
- 18:18Video: Well,
- 18:19Video: that brings us to your opportunity to say just a few last words to the voters.
- 18:27Nora: Imagine if Kyle Clark would have got his hands on her.
- 18:29Video: We have guns too.
- 18:32Video: All right.
- 18:33Video: Well, as a reminder of the general election.
- 18:35Charles: I love her.
- 18:38Nora: So I do have an update. She went on Pierce Morgan.
- 18:41Charles: Oh no.
- 18:42Charles: Oh no!
- 18:43Nora: So, I think...
- 18:44Mandy: Where's that clip,
- 18:45Mandy: Nora?
- 18:46Mandy: See,
- 18:46Nora: that's part two.
- 18:47Nora: Oh is it?
- 18:48Nora: That's right under it.
- 18:50Nora: She did have a stroke a few years ago.
- 18:52Mandy: Oh, now I feel bad.
- 18:53Mandy: No.
- 18:53Charles: You're like, "Oh, she's so..."
- 18:56Charles: No, no, no.
- 18:56Nora: There were beers involved.
- 19:00Mandy: I was like, "Now I'm making fun of somebody with a medical condition."
- 19:04Nora: No, no,
- 19:05Nora: no, no, no, no.
- 19:07Nora: So we can watch the Piers Morgan clip.
- 19:09Nora: Y'all,
- 19:10Nora: look.
- 19:10Nora: Oh no,
- 19:11Nora: it didn't...
- 19:11Nora: Maybe Chris is going to be in the video.
- 19:12Nora: didn't add it I don't know it was the part two that's okay we can I can even
- 19:20Nora: update you guys next week she does slur a little bit but she was far more
- 19:24Nora: coherent on the interview and it just reminds me of Leslie Knope in that
- 19:31Nora: interview with in Parks and Rec where she's doing an interview and she's been
- 19:35Nora: drinking and she's like no this is bad timing this is just bad timing and she's
- 19:40Nora: also from Indiana.
- 19:41Nora: So it's it's really a Parks and Rec situation.
- 19:44Nora: Okay this is
- 19:45Nora: kind of a Halloween spooky where Mama's at it again.
- 19:50Nora: Yeah.
- 19:50Speaker 8: Y'all look Mama's up to her old shit again.
- 19:53Speaker 8: Wait a minute.
- 19:54Speaker 8: I couldn't
- 19:54Speaker 8: find her nowhere. We're in here packing.
- 19:56Speaker 8: Hold on.
- 20:05Charles: mother
- 20:35Charles: (laughing)
- 20:45Charles: These are how cryptids start.
- 20:47Charles: (laughing)
- 20:48Nora: I'm giving something,
- 20:49Nora: I'm giving people something
- 20:51Nora: to wonder about.
- 20:52Mandy: You can't amuse yourself.
- 20:54Mandy: What's the point of even being alive?
- 20:56Charles: Right,
- 20:57Charles: like for real though,
- 20:59Charles: if somebody were to see that and see like,
- 21:02Charles: oh my God,
- 21:02Charles: this is lampshade head.
- 21:04Charles: And there's gonna be a whole thing about like,
- 21:07Charles: oh, look at the lampshade head creature
- 21:10Charles: that has just been appearing out in the woods.
- 21:13Nora: It's delightful and I love it.
- 21:15Nora: I think more people should add that level of whimsy
- 21:18Nora: to their life.
- 21:19Mandy: I think I'm full up on whimsy,
- 21:21Mandy: thank you.
- 21:22Nora: But it's a good amount of whimsy, you know.
- 21:23Charles: Is it whimsy or is it dementia?
- 21:26Mandy: I ask myself the same thing every time I get dressed.
- 21:31Nora: Maybe a little bit of both.
- 21:33Mandy: Maybe a little bit of both.
- 21:35Nora: All right. - Wednesday?
- 21:37Nora: I have some fall flash spooky things coming up here.
- 21:41Nora: So first we have the pumpkin trebuchet.
- 21:44Mandy: I love a trebuchet.
- 21:47Mandy: Two, one.
- 21:52Mandy: (laughing)
- 21:55Charles: It's gone.
- 21:57Charles: I said the same thing as the guy.
- 22:00Nora: That's in Vermont,
- 22:01Nora: by the way.
- 22:02Nora: (groans)
- 22:04Mandy: Whose house did it hit?
- 22:05Charles: Can we watch that one more time?
- 22:07Nora: I'll watch it again.
- 22:08Mandy: Yes.
- 22:08Mandy: Two,
- 22:09Mandy: one.
- 22:13Mandy: (gunshot)
- 22:14Mandy: (groans)
- 22:16Nora: God, the mechanics of a trebuchet.
- 22:17Nora: You lose it right there.
- 22:18Speaker 8: Took some shit on that one.
- 22:21Nora: Wow.
- 22:25Nora: That was great.
- 22:26Charles: That is wild.
- 22:27Nora: That was great.
- 22:30Nora: Alright, so next we have some pumpkins versus the zoo because you know me, I cannot not
- 22:35Nora: bring cute animal content.
- 22:37Nora: So let's start with the Oregon Zoo.
- 22:44Nora: And these are some of the like, you know,
- 22:46Nora: giant pumpkins.
- 22:50Nora: Heeeey!
- 22:51Nora: Smushed!
- 22:52Nora: Alright, we have a couple from Point Defiance, which is a zoo in Washington State.
- 23:03Charles: Oh, chompy.
- 23:04Speaker 8: Chomp, chomp, chomp.
- 23:06Charles: You're not supposed to eat that.
- 23:08Mandy: Look, it's not eating it.
- 23:10Mandy: I'm like,
- 23:11Mandy: bleh.
- 23:12Nora: Spitting it out.
- 23:19Charles: This is my cat whenever there is a big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big, big,
- 23:22Charles: a bag of any sort.
- 23:25Charles: Like she will rip it up and then just spit it all out.
- 23:31Nora: All right, I have another one from Point Defiance Zoo.
- 23:36Charles: Oh hell yeah.
- 23:45Nora: Here we go.
- 23:48Charles: What kind of animal is that?
- 23:50Nora: It's a muskox.
- 23:51Charles: It's a musk ox.
- 23:53Charles: Mm-hmm.
- 23:53Mandy: Are we sure it's not a water buffalo?
- 23:55Nora: That's a musk ox.
- 23:56Mandy: I hear everybody has a water buffalo.
- 23:58Mandy: (laughing)
- 24:04Charles: Oh my God.
- 24:05Nora: The amount of power.
- 24:07Mandy: It's just so angry though.
- 24:09Nora: And he goes,
- 24:10Nora: "Munch chomp,
- 24:10Nora: munch chomp."
- 24:12Nora: (laughing)
- 24:13Nora: Oh,
- 24:13Charles: look at the baby.
- 24:14Nora: Munch chomp, munch chomp.
- 24:17Nora: Yeah.
- 24:17Charles: Just rip it up and eat it.
- 24:19Nora: Water buffalo. - I bet it has its horns.
- 24:20Nora: They have less fat and fur because water buffalo live in the water.
- 24:25Nora: Yeah, but they live in the jungles, man.
- 24:27Nora: They live in the jungles.
- 24:30Nora: A musk fox is from like Russia.
- 24:34Nora: All right. I have one more, and this is from the Hertfordshire Zoo in the UK.
- 24:41Nora: Love pumpkin.
- 24:42Nora: Love,
- 24:44Nora: love pumpkin.
- 24:44Nora: Oh,
- 24:45Nora: love,
- 24:47Nora: love pumpkin.
- 24:47Nora: Yes!
- 24:51Nora: All right, and then finally,
- 24:53Nora: I have some bad news.
- 24:54Nora: The fog installation is going away.
- 24:57Charles: What does that mean?
- 24:58Nora: We're going to have to watch the video.
- 25:01Speaker 8: Fuji Konakaya, the fog installation,
- 25:03Speaker 8: here at Neue Nationalgalerie,
- 25:05Speaker 8: will unfortunately disappear
- 25:07Speaker 8: for good on October 25th.
- 25:09Speaker 8: Can't extend it, so you have
- 25:11Speaker 8: a couple of days to still catch it.
- 25:13Speaker 8: Catch it before
- 25:15Speaker 8: it disappears.
- 25:17Speaker 8: Like I'm disappearing now in the fog?
- 25:19Mandy: Not really.
- 25:25Speaker 8: He's gone!
- 25:28Speaker 8: Until October 25th.
- 25:31Speaker 8: Don't miss it.
- 25:32Mandy: I have so many questions.
- 25:36Nora: Oh, here he comes!
- 25:37Mandy: Wait, now he's back?
- 25:38Mandy: Oh, it's coming back?
- 25:39Nora: It's the fog exhibit!
- 25:41Charles: Why is it just Anderson Cooper
- 25:45Charles: with a German accent?
- 25:47Charles: Or I was so I was like either that or Mike Pence
- 25:53Nora: Right,
- 25:53Nora: yeah, anyway, I saw that video and I was just like I needed to share cuz it was just the fog is going away
- 26:03Charles: We're gonna miss the fog installation bad we need a fog installation in the studio like
- 26:08Charles: Picture this picture this right now. Mm-hmm.
- 26:11Charles: We're in the studio and we say goodbye everybody and then I just step back
- 26:15Mandy: back into the fog into the fog that's how cryptids were made or we just do
- 26:23Mandy: what we started with and have it be a black screen.
- 26:27Nora: We're in the fog, you don't see us. We've already mastered that skill like a champ.
- 26:37Mandy: So the next one's actually mine.
- 26:40Mandy: So I saw this video and immediately thought
- 26:44Mandy: of Nora and Laura.
- 26:46Mandy: So this goes out to you all.
- 26:48Mandy: If you ask men what their type is,
- 26:51Mandy: they'll probably say big titty goth girl.
- 26:53Mandy: If you ask women what their type is,
- 26:55Mandy: they'll probably say,
- 26:57Charles: I don't know,
- 26:57Charles: I just want a guy who's funny.
- 26:59Charles: Now that's not gonna cut it.
- 27:00Charles: I'm trying to find what is that universal type?
- 27:02Charles: What is the big titty goth girl for straight women?
- 27:05Charles: What is it?
- 27:07Charles: And I think my team has found just that.
- 27:10Charles: This is the big titty goth girl for straight women.
- 27:13Charles: Here it is,
- 27:14Charles: the mustache.
- 27:15Charles: (laughing)
- 27:15Speaker 8: This is what they mean when they say they want a funny guy.
- 27:19Speaker 8: This is what they mean when they say they want a guy
- 27:20Speaker 8: who's a little fat.
- 27:22Speaker 8: This is what they mean when they say they want a guy
- 27:24Speaker 8: just a little bit ugly.
- 27:25Speaker 8: This is what they mean when they want a guy who's obsessed with them.
- 27:28Speaker 8: They want this. They want this thing right here.
- 27:34Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:35Speaker 8: This was a long time coming,
- 27:36Speaker 8: and I'm so
- 27:37Video: excited for women to finally have the vocabulary to express,
- 27:42Video: "This is big titty goth girl."
- 27:46Mandy: So I laugh hysterically,
- 27:48Mandy: and then I have to go and find a photo of the wrestler
- 27:52Mandy: (laughing)
- 27:55Mandy: And like trying to show the husband.
- 27:58Nora: Yeah.
- 27:59Nora: (laughing)
- 28:00Mandy: And I was like,
- 28:01Mandy: I don't know.
- 28:02Mandy: I didn't feel that way before seeing that wrestler,
- 28:04Mandy: but after that wrestler, I'm like, yeah,
- 28:06Mandy: you're wrong.
- 28:07Charles: You know what?
- 28:08Charles: As somebody who can't grow a mustache to save their life,
- 28:11Charles: I get it.
- 28:12Charles: I get it.
- 28:14Charles: It's a much,
- 28:15Charles: much better situation than what I have.
- 28:19Charles: (laughing)
- 28:20Mandy: Awww,
- 28:21Mandy: sorry.
- 28:22Mandy: (groaning)
- 28:23Nora: I was thinking about a man who can grow a mustache
- 28:26Nora: and he just doesn't take himself too seriously.
- 28:28Nora: And I think that's really-
- 28:30Nora: (crinkling)
- 28:31Nora: Oh,
- 28:32Nora: I'm just gonna stress eat.
- 28:33Nora: Oh no.
- 28:34Mandy: Well,
- 28:35Mandy: the husband immediately pulled up
- 28:37Mandy: some old '80s Miami Vice,
- 28:40Mandy: no private eyes something.
- 28:42Nora: Magnum PI.
- 28:43Mandy: Magnum PI,
- 28:44Mandy: and tried to, he's like,
- 28:45Mandy: "We should watch them all."
- 28:46Mandy: No,
- 28:47Mandy: no,
- 28:48Mandy: no thanks,
- 28:48Mandy: I'll pass.
- 28:50Mandy: Are you eating your feelings still?
- 28:52Mandy: So many feelings.
- 28:53Charles: Do you see,
- 28:54Charles: was it the camera on me
- 28:55Charles: when I spilled it all over myself?
- 28:57Charles: No, gosh darn it.
- 28:57Charles: Genetically?
- 28:59Nora: Nope.
- 28:59Mandy: Gosh darn it.
- 29:00Mandy: (laughing)
- 29:01Charles: It's okay.
- 29:02Charles: Now my mouth is full.
- 29:04Charles: (laughing)
- 29:05Nora: All right, well,
- 29:06Nora: I think that was all
- 29:07Nora: that we had for Around the Net this week.
- 29:08Mandy: It is.
- 29:09Nora: I'll bring some more,
- 29:10Nora: maybe some pumpkin dropping content next week
- 29:13Nora: and maybe bring some pictures from-
- 29:15Mandy: Pumpkin boats.
- 29:16Nora: Yeah, we could do pumpkin boats.
- 29:18Nora: We could do all those things.
- 29:20Nora: But in the meantime,
- 29:22Nora: I want to tell you about Loudspeaker.
- 29:26Charles: >> I have no music, but I'll do all beatbox for you.
- 29:29Nora: >> Yeah, how about that?
- 29:32Nora: Loudspeaker is a local radio station with
- 29:35Nora: six different locally created and free Internet radio for your listening pleasure.
- 29:45Nora: We have our,
- 29:46Nora: if you go to loudspeaker.org,
- 29:48Nora: you can go to see all of the stations.
- 29:53Nora: We have a 60 station, we have an 80 station,
- 29:56Nora: we have a Colorado station for any local artists,
- 30:01Nora: and it's all free.
- 30:03Nora: So go to loudspeaker.org,
- 30:05Nora: download the app,
- 30:06Nora: and you can listen to the best music
- 30:09Nora: that's not built by algorithms or AI.
- 30:12Nora: That's right.
- 30:13Nora: Listen now and if you have it in your budget to donate,
- 30:18Nora: donate online.
- 30:20Charles: Yeah,
- 30:21Charles: word.
- 30:23Charles: My hands are covered in spit now.
- 30:25Charles: (laughing)
- 30:27Mandy: Is it Cheez-Its covered in spit?
- 30:30Nora: Actually, it's goldfish.
- 30:32Mandy: Oh, goldfish.
- 30:33Mandy: (laughing)
- 30:35Charles: All right.
- 30:35Charles: Goldfish,
- 30:36Charles: Cheez-Its.
- 30:37Charles: Cheez-Its all the time.
- 30:39Nora: Yeah, I do agree.
- 30:41Nora: Yeah,
- 30:41Nora: they're cheesier.
- 30:43Charles: It's cheesier.
- 30:43Nora: Yeah.
- 30:44Charles: Or saltier.
- 30:45Nora: Yeah.
- 30:47Charles: This is great content.
- 30:48Nora: So great.
- 30:49Mandy: Hey,
- 30:49Mandy: how about Nora tells us a little about
- 30:55Mandy: that movie that I have no plans on watching?
- 30:58Nora: Yeah,
- 30:59Nora: so Charles and I went and saw
- 31:01Nora: You Can See Everything. - Not together,
- 31:02Charles: separate.
- 31:03Nora: Separate.
- 31:04Mandy: Okay, wait,
- 31:04Mandy: why is that so important to make that distinction?
- 31:07Charles: Because I don't wanna see a movie with Nora.
- 31:12Charles: (laughing)
- 31:12Charles: We tried to watch a movie with Nora and she's like,
- 31:16Charles: "Oh,
- 31:16Charles: four hours is too much!"
- 31:18Charles: And then she's willing to sit three hours non-stop in a movie theater.
- 31:22Nora: I got a migraine and almost left halfway through.
- 31:27Nora: It was so bad.
- 31:28Nora: I had probably one of the worst migraines that I've had in a while.
- 31:31Nora: But I went on Sunday night and I went to the Lyric,
- 31:35Nora: so our local little theater,
- 31:37Nora: and it
- 31:38Nora: was a full show.
- 31:39Nora: So for those of you who live under a rock and don't know the top grossing movie this
- 31:45Nora: week,
- 31:46Nora: You Can See Everything is a Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim movie where Elizabeth
- 31:52Nora: Holmes invited Nathan Fielder to basically live with her.
- 31:56Charles: Who is Elizabeth Holmes?
- 31:57Nora: She is the inventor of Theranos and has been charged and convicted of fraud because of
- 32:08Nora: the way that she was presenting this Einstein machine,
- 32:13Nora: that with one drop of blood,
- 32:15Nora: you could get all of these diagnostics.
- 32:17Nora: And so,
- 32:19Nora: she,
- 32:20Nora: Nathan Fielder is invited to move in with her
- 32:23Nora: three months before she goes to prison.
- 32:25Nora: So like, this is like right in this time zone
- 32:27Nora: where she's like trying to get things figured out
- 32:30Nora: before she goes away,
- 32:31Nora: because her sentence was 11 years.
- 32:33Nora: She had two babies before,
- 32:35Nora: between being convicted
- 32:37Nora: and actually going to prison, so that's a choice.
- 32:42Nora: And she is now married to this man named Billy.
- 32:47Nora: Billy Evans. - Billy Evans.
- 32:49Nora: And the other person that's very important
- 32:51Nora: in the story was Sonny.
- 32:54Nora: He was, Sonny Wapapawani was her 12-year relationship
- 32:58Nora: and he was like some 40-year-old guy
- 32:59Nora: who was her other half at the original Theranos.
- 33:03Nora: So she's always had some kind of man around
- 33:05Nora: to kind of help with the operations.
- 33:10Nora: Basically,
- 33:11Nora: the whole thing that she is arguing
- 33:13Nora: is that she never lied,
- 33:15Nora: so she never committed fraud
- 33:17Nora: because she said they can do that,
- 33:19Nora: even though the technology did not exist to do that.
- 33:23Nora: And the technology does not exist to do that.
- 33:26Nora: In fact, many lab techs have been like,
- 33:28Nora: this is impossible,
- 33:29Nora: this isn't gonna happen.
- 33:31Nora: And they're still doing it.
- 33:33Nora: They're creating a new Theranos,
- 33:34Nora: like Billy and Elizabeth are actively trying
- 33:37Nora: to create their brand again.
- 33:41Nora: And it was,
- 33:43Nora: I think, the real revolutionary thing
- 33:45Nora: about this movie and what makes it so,
- 33:48Nora: okay, we have spoilers,
- 33:49Nora: go ahead,
- 33:49Nora: just to let you know.
- 33:50Charles: My hands are up.
- 33:52Nora: From now on. - From now on.
- 33:54Nora: So like if he puts his hands down,
- 33:56Nora: it's spoilers.
- 33:56Nora: This is a spoiler zone now.
- 33:58Charles: My shoulders are gonna be so,
- 34:02Charles: so rough by the end of this.
- 34:04Mandy: Yeah,
- 34:05Nora: but halfway through the movie to spoil it after Elizabeth goes to prison
- 34:11Nora: Nathan Fielder then invites Amanda Seyfried
- 34:15Charles: Let's okay. We need a cut back because there's there is an important part of this.
- 34:19Charles: Yeah,
- 34:19Charles: so Amanda Seyfried Seyfried Seyfried Seyfried
- 34:23Nora: Seyfried Seyfried
- 34:25Charles: Played
- 34:27Charles: Elizabeth Holmes in a show called the dropout and won an Emmy for it and won an Emmy for it
- 34:33Charles: and is now being a part of this documentary
- 34:38Charles: to kind of reprise her role as Elizabeth Holmes.
- 34:43Nora: But also be the street man to kind of watch
- 34:45Nora: the first 80 minutes of the film and be like,
- 34:47Nora: "Oh my God, what's going on here?"
- 34:50Nora: Because Nathan has been involved with it so much,
- 34:53Nora: but Amanda has not seen all of this,
- 34:57Nora: and so she's getting involved with it,
- 34:59Nora: and her role is really amazing.
- 35:01Nora: I thought she was really good in it,
- 35:02Nora: But I think the most important part of this is like how we trust a narrator and like how
- 35:09Nora: that story is told,
- 35:11Nora: because this whole thing is just unreliable narrators.
- 35:14Nora: Like the last scene in the movie, I didn't realize until somebody commented,
- 35:18Nora: it's Nathan
- 35:19Nora: and Elizabeth playing in the ocean.
- 35:21Nora: And I didn't realize it was Nathan and Elizabeth.
- 35:24Nora: And that was something that she had asked him, Hey, do you want to go swim in the ocean
- 35:28Nora: with me?
- 35:28Nora: And he goes,
- 35:29Nora: well, I have a rule against it.
- 35:30Nora: I guess I could break a rule,
- 35:31Nora: but I don't really like swimming in cold water.
- 35:33Nora: Which is even,
- 35:35Nora: have you heard the online discourse
- 35:36Nora: where people are like, he said he wasn't going to,
- 35:38Nora: he said no.
- 35:40Nora: And like, there's just so much discourse
- 35:42Nora: about like the actual words of what happens in the film
- 35:46Nora: that it leaves so much up to interpretation,
- 35:48Nora: but like,
- 35:50Nora: nobody is a reliable narrator.
- 35:51Nora: Elizabeth Holmes is like playing this part,
- 35:54Nora: and then Billy steps in, and Billy is malignant evil.
- 35:59Nora: He's really, really scary.
- 36:01Nora: And there was no need for the full frontal.
- 36:02Nora: I mean,
- 36:03Nora: it's a power thing. - Oh my God.
- 36:04Nora: It's a power thing.
- 36:06Charles: Oh my God.
- 36:07Charles: There is a scene in this movie early on
- 36:09Charles: within like the first 20 minutes
- 36:11Charles: where this guy just allows the film crew
- 36:15Charles: to film him showering full hog.
- 36:18Nora: Full hog.
- 36:19Charles: Full hog in the shower.
- 36:21Charles: And it's her husband.
- 36:22Charles: Like it's not like faked anything like that.
- 36:26Charles: It's just,
- 36:27Charles: this dude was just like,
- 36:28Charles: Yeah, film me in the shower.
- 36:30Mandy: But then the editor could have said no at any time,
- 36:32Mandy: right?
- 36:32Mandy: The editor didn't have to do that.
- 36:36Charles: It's used for,
- 36:39Charles: I would say comedic effect.
- 36:40Charles: Yes.
- 36:41Charles: Okay.
- 36:41Charles: Like this is like-
- 36:43Mandy: Well yeah,
- 36:44Mandy: 'cause anytime there's male nudity on screen,
- 36:46Mandy: that's what it is for, comedic effect.
- 36:48Charles: Right,
- 36:49Charles: 'cause it's hilarious.
- 36:50Nora: It is hilarious.
- 36:52Mandy: Penis is funny.
- 36:52Mandy: No, 'cause it's in the discourse,
- 36:54Mandy: right?
- 36:54Mandy: Like women are used,
- 36:55Mandy: when women are naked,
- 36:56Mandy: it's sexual.
- 36:57Mandy: When men are used, it's comedic.
- 36:59Charles: Right,
- 36:59Nora: right. - Exactly.
- 37:00Nora: But the movie is three hours long,
- 37:01Nora: and so it needs those breaks
- 37:03Nora: of a little bit of comedic effect.
- 37:06Nora: Like when Nathan Fielder, when Billy says,
- 37:08Nora: "I know what you're feeling."
- 37:09Nora: He goes,
- 37:09Nora: "No, you don't."
- 37:10Nora: And like the whole audience laughs
- 37:12Nora: because like it's a ridiculous,
- 37:14Nora: he's finally saying the thing out loud
- 37:15Nora: that people don't always ask.
- 37:17Nora: Like Nathan is asking the questions
- 37:19Nora: that not everybody is always willing to say out loud,
- 37:24Nora: which that's one of the things that I like about Nathan.
- 37:27Charles: This movie is filmed like a horror movie.
- 37:31Mandy: Okay.
- 37:32Charles: Like-
- 37:32Nora: Up tight.
- 37:33Nora: It's all here.
- 37:34Charles: Very, very like close-
- 37:35Charles: It's all here.
- 37:36Charles: Uncomfortable shots of everybody's faces.
- 37:38Charles: Whenever they have like wide shots-
- 37:41Charles: They're dark.
- 37:41Charles: They're always dark and you can always see Nathan
- 37:44Charles: just in the corner just like huddled over,
- 37:47Charles: just like outside the window or something.
- 37:49Nora: Those first few shots where Nathan is just like
- 37:52Nora: outside being creepy,
- 37:54Nora: people,
- 37:54Nora: my theater was just laughing
- 37:56Nora: because it really is funny.
- 37:57Nora: And the other thing about it,
- 37:59Nora: go see it with a theater full of people.
- 38:01Nora: It really is wonderful.
- 38:03Nora: You're gonna lose.
- 38:03Charles: Sorry,
- 38:04Charles: sorry.
- 38:05Charles: (laughing)
- 38:06Charles: I had to clean up my mess.
- 38:07Charles: (laughing)
- 38:08Nora: You're gonna make more mess.
- 38:09Charles: Hold on, hold on, hold on.
- 38:10Nora: (laughing)
- 38:11Charles: Oh no.
- 38:12Charles: (laughing)
- 38:12Charles: There we go.
- 38:13Nora: Speaking of comedic.
- 38:14Nora: (laughing)
- 38:15Nora: Comedic timing.
- 38:18Nora: It was,
- 38:19Nora: yeah, no, like the comedy of Nathan
- 38:21Nora: kind of being in that situation was very apparent.
- 38:26Nora: And oh my gosh, it was a really interesting,
- 38:29Nora: really interesting movie.
- 38:30Nora: And it has made more money than any documentary ever
- 38:36Nora: on its opening weekend.
- 38:38Charles: That's cool.
- 38:39Nora: Maybe since the 9/11 Michael Moore documentary,
- 38:45Nora: but like,
- 38:46Nora: this is a documentary that like actually opened
- 38:49Nora: to many,
- 38:51Nora: many sold out theaters.
- 38:53Nora: And it was showing in limited theaters.
- 38:55Nora: It was showing in about less than 900 theaters.
- 38:58Nora: And it,
- 39:00Nora: I think,
- 39:00Nora: double or tripled the sales
- 39:02Nora: for "Street Fighter."
- 39:04Charles: Oh, that's awesome.
- 39:05Charles: So good.
- 39:06Nora: So Charles, what did you think?
- 39:07Nora: It smoked.
- 39:08Charles: What did I think about the movie?
- 39:10Charles: I think that it is worth watching,
- 39:14Charles: even if you,
- 39:14Charles: hi.
- 39:16Charles: It's the bad camera.
- 39:17Nora: We're rolling.
- 39:18Charles: We're rolling with it.
- 39:20Charles: I thought that it was,
- 39:23Charles: it didn't feel like three hours.
- 39:25Charles: It blew through the whole film.
- 39:29Charles: It was engaging from moment one,
- 39:33Charles: and there was just like,
- 39:35Charles: the comedy was on point.
- 39:39Charles: Nathan talks through this,
- 39:41Charles: and he's always questioning why him,
- 39:44Charles: right?
- 39:45Charles: And he makes this really good point about
- 39:47Charles: Why did you hire the guy known for scams
- 39:55Charles: in his like comedy,
- 39:57Charles: right?
- 39:57Charles: Making scam businesses.
- 39:59Charles: Why'd you hire the scam business guy?
- 40:01Mandy: Did they hire him?
- 40:02Charles: Yeah, they reached out to him.
- 40:03Mandy: So he can do it the opposite way?
- 40:05Nora: Yeah.
- 40:06Mandy: Oh,
- 40:07Mandy: huh.
- 40:07Nora: Isn't that strange?
- 40:08Nora: Huh.
- 40:10Nora: And there's actually a part
- 40:10Nora: where they even recreate this conversation
- 40:15Nora: because it wasn't at a point where they had tapes
- 40:18Nora: or they had it on film.
- 40:21Nora: And Elizabeth Holmes just leaves the room
- 40:23Nora: when Billy is like, "Hey,
- 40:24Nora: you're gonna pay us
- 40:25Nora: "for this movie, we're gonna get a cut."
- 40:27Nora: Which for a documentary,
- 40:30Nora: movie subjects don't get money from,
- 40:34Nora: like a documentary subject doesn't get paid out.
- 40:37Charles: I mean,
- 40:38Charles: they make a good point.
- 40:39Charles: Ethically.
- 40:39Charles: Yeah, ethically you shouldn't,
- 40:41Charles: but there are a lot of-
- 40:42Nora: But they can.
- 40:43Charles: There's a lot of circumstances
- 40:44Charles: where people make their own documentaries
- 40:47Charles: and they make a shit ton of money from it.
- 40:48Charles: Like Taylor Swift is a good example.
- 40:52Charles: They make the-
- 40:54Mandy: P. Diddy tried,
- 40:56Mandy: or he didn't pay them.
- 40:58Charles: Right,
- 40:59Charles: right,
- 40:59Charles: exactly.
- 41:01Nora: It's part of the story, though.
- 41:02Charles: But to be a reliable narrator,
- 41:07Charles: you have to have that level of trust.
- 41:10Charles: And there's a big part of this movie
- 41:12Charles: that is all about,
- 41:13Charles: like Nora was saying,
- 41:15Charles: how unreliable everybody is.
- 41:18Nora: Even Nathan.
- 41:19Charles: Because Nathan,
- 41:22Charles: personally,
- 41:23Charles: had a good connection with Elizabeth Holmes.
- 41:26Charles: So there is kind of like this moment towards the end
- 41:29Charles: where it seems like he's kind of protecting her a little bit
- 41:33Charles: which is really interesting that he cares about this person
- 41:37Charles: who did all of this harm,
- 41:39Charles: like objectively.
- 41:41Charles: You start from this movie knowing
- 41:43Charles: that she like legally lost her cases.
- 41:47Nora: Is convicted.
- 41:49Charles: Right, is convicted,
- 41:49Charles: and there's so much evidence
- 41:51Charles: to prove that she is like a liar,
- 41:55Charles: like convicted liar.
- 41:57Nora: Big fat liar.
- 41:58Charles: Right,
- 41:59Charles: but there's all these moments
- 42:01Charles: where like it's edited like,
- 42:04Charles: oh, maybe she's not,
- 42:06Charles: maybe it's not, but then like it's so complex
- 42:09Charles: because then he even calls himself out,
- 42:12Charles: like being like,
- 42:13Charles: but you know,
- 42:15Charles: like this is my interpretation of it all.
- 42:17Charles: It's very good.
- 42:17Nora: And it's still like, it's even set up like,
- 42:20Nora: Billy is almost this monster trolling her,
- 42:23Nora: you know,
- 42:24Nora: like,
- 42:25Nora: but like,
- 42:26Nora: even that,
- 42:27Nora: we don't know if that's necessarily the case,
- 42:29Nora: because anytime she starts crying,
- 42:31Nora: Billy jumps in and is like,
- 42:32Nora: oh, we gotta stop this conversation.
- 42:34Nora: And so he's very, very manipulative
- 42:36Nora: and controlling about the narrative
- 42:38Nora: and all of these things.
- 42:40Nora: Other things this is out to me,
- 42:42Nora: there's always one child in all of the shots
- 42:44Nora: when Elizabeth was not in prison,
- 42:46Nora: or when she was not in prison.
- 42:49Mandy: Are they the producers of this too then?
- 42:51Nora: No,
- 42:52Nora: they ended up backing out
- 42:54Nora: after the movie was finalized.
- 42:56Charles: Almost finished,
- 42:57Charles: yeah.
- 42:57Nora: And Billy said we're not gonna get paid for it.
- 43:00Nora: But a lot of it was,
- 43:01Nora: a lot of information about the movie
- 43:02Nora: has been under wraps because of how it was released
- 43:05Nora: and how it was released at the Telluride Film Festival.
- 43:08Nora: and then not announced until then
- 43:12Nora: that it was gonna be out in theaters,
- 43:13Nora: right?
- 43:14Nora: So also the,
- 43:16Nora: so like,
- 43:17Nora: they only have one baby with them.
- 43:19Nora: Like there was like never a full story of like,
- 43:21Nora: who's the nanny, who's with the other kids?
- 43:23Nora: Like,
- 43:24Nora: there's only one baby.
- 43:25Nora: It's like, I forgot about the three-year-old
- 43:27Nora: for a long time in the first part of the movie.
- 43:29Nora: It's like, where's the three-year-old?
- 43:30Nora: And the only time you'd see the three-year-old
- 43:32Nora: is if he's like sitting on a table
- 43:34Nora: or like climbing on a bench
- 43:36Nora: and gonna fall onto the beach.
- 43:37Nora: And it was all these like very dangerous situations
- 43:39Nora: that you would see the children in,
- 43:41Nora: which I thought was interesting.
- 43:42Nora: I don't know the full meaning of that,
- 43:44Nora: but I do know it's significant.
- 43:45Charles: That's interesting that you bring that up
- 43:48Charles: because there's a lot of moments like throughout
- 43:50Charles: where they kind of use the children
- 43:52Charles: to kind of not answer questions.
- 43:56Charles: So I'm like,
- 43:58Charles: it feels like they use them as props.
- 44:03Charles: So they're like,
- 44:03Charles: oh,
- 44:04Charles: I don't wanna answer this question.
- 44:05Charles: I feel uncomfortable.
- 44:06Charles: I'm gonna go grab my kid and deal with the kid
- 44:09Charles: whenever there's an issue.
- 44:11Nora: Right.
- 44:11Charles: Which is just very,
- 44:13Charles: very interesting.
- 44:13Nora: But there had to have been another adult human
- 44:16Nora: in that space who was taking care of the kids.
- 44:19Nora: There had to have been.
- 44:20Nora: And then when they're in Texas
- 44:22Nora: and Billy has all the reptiles,
- 44:26Nora: I love that theme.
- 44:27Nora: I love that Billy has all of these reptiles,
- 44:29Nora: like these giant ball pythons and all of these,
- 44:33Nora: he had a tegu running around the house
- 44:36Nora: was probably four feet long.
- 44:37Nora: Like there were like giant animals in this house
- 44:41Nora: that were running around with this like two and four year old and it was like oh
- 44:45Nora: my like it just kind of speaks to I don't know like what's going on in that
- 44:51Nora: house the level of you know attention that he pays to the kids but then he's
- 44:56Nora: also this like reptile guy I don't know I thought that was like really weird the
- 45:01Nora: way that those were in the movie because it just like shows how I don't know I
- 45:08Nora: wouldn't trust Billy.
- 45:09Mandy: So would you watch this at home?
- 45:12Charles: Yes yeah yeah I would watch
- 45:14Charles: it again in a few years.
- 45:15Nora: I need to watch it again because I like I said I did get a
- 45:17Nora: migraine and so I didn't feel like it went as went by as fast but that's also
- 45:23Nora: because I was in a lot of pain.
- 45:26Nora: But no seriously.
- 45:26Nora: By the end of the movie I was
- 45:27Nora: kind of crushing my head, but like,
- 45:30Nora: it was really good.
- 45:31Nora: I want to watch it again.
- 45:32Charles: It's really worth a watch.
- 45:34Charles: And I know you don't like Nathan Fielder.
- 45:38Charles: Why don't you like Nathan Fielder?
- 45:40Mandy: Do I need a reason?
- 45:41Charles: I mean, just like.
- 45:43Mandy: I'm no, 'cause like,
- 45:44Mandy: here's the thing.
- 45:45Mandy: Like, I consume so much media that my reasons
- 45:48Mandy: for not liking some people are really terrible.
- 45:50Mandy: Like,
- 45:50Mandy: you say your S is weird,
- 45:52Mandy: I'm not watching you.
- 45:53Charles: Okay.
- 45:54Mandy: Or like,
- 45:54Mandy: you have a tooth that I don't like.
- 45:57Mandy: looking at,
- 45:58Mandy: so I'm not gonna watch you.
- 45:59Charles: Okay. - So like,
- 46:00Mandy: I,
- 46:02Mandy: I just don't like his vibe.
- 46:04Mandy: Like,
- 46:04Mandy: I don't know,
- 46:05Mandy: maybe I have enough monotone men in my life.
- 46:09Mandy: (laughing)
- 46:12Charles: I totally get that. - I can understand that.
- 46:14Charles: That's a good reason.
- 46:15Charles: (laughing)
- 46:18Charles: But I think that there's such a good, like,
- 46:22Charles: cast of people in this that they're following
- 46:27Charles: it's really that Nathan becomes the fly on the wall that his like his interview
- 46:35Charles: style is very like very kind of boring and he's silent a lot of the time to let
- 46:42Charles: them talk so that's a big thing is there's like these moments of just like
- 46:47Charles: the most uncomfortable silence possible yeah just to give them that awkward
- 46:52Charles: space to let them say whatever they're gonna say right and these people say the
- 46:55Charles: most insane shit.
- 46:58Nora: Like you know you're on camera, right?
- 47:00Nora: Like that's,
- 47:01Nora: I kept saying like weird,
- 47:03Nora: like the relationship between Elizabeth and Billy,
- 47:08Nora: it just weirded me out.
- 47:10Nora: I didn't like it.
- 47:11Nora: I just kept saying like,
- 47:12Nora: this is weird.
- 47:13Nora: Something is weird.
- 47:14Nora: Like what is, this is weird.
- 47:16Charles: You know what was really weird to me
- 47:17Charles: that like I don't see people talking about?
- 47:19Charles: Like why did she text Nathan,
- 47:22Charles: you can see everything. - You can totally
- 47:23Charles: see everything.
- 47:24Charles: totally see everything.
- 47:25Charles: What does that mean?
- 47:27Charles: Like, is she just saying like, you can totally,
- 47:29Charles: this is like right after she invites him to go swimming
- 47:33Charles: and he says no,
- 47:34Charles: and then she's like,
- 47:35Charles: you can totally see everything.
- 47:37Charles: It's like,
- 47:39Charles: what?
- 47:39Charles: What?
- 47:40Nora: Some people are saying that that's like when she,
- 47:43Nora: like that was a slip of like when she,
- 47:45Nora: like her persona cracked,
- 47:48Nora: because like she used that double entendre of can,
- 47:51Nora: because that's the whole point of the movie,
- 47:52Nora: is like,
- 47:53Nora: you can see everything.
- 47:55Nora: It's the usage of the word.
- 47:56Nora: Well,
- 47:57Nora: the product can do this
- 47:59Nora: if the technology ever exists,
- 48:02Nora: but it's that semantic use of the word can.
- 48:07Nora: And I think the other time,
- 48:09Nora: I saw somebody note that like,
- 48:10Nora: when they were watching the dropout and Nathan goes,
- 48:15Nora: "Did that happen?"
- 48:16Nora: And she looks at him and says,
- 48:17Nora: "Do you think that would happen?
- 48:18Nora: Or do you think that happened?"
- 48:20Nora: That's another break
- 48:21Nora: because if you don't understand who's on first,
- 48:23Nora: then why are you using a sarcasm?
- 48:25Charles: Oh my God.
- 48:26Nora: Why are you using sarcasm?
- 48:28Charles: Mandy,
- 48:29Charles: you're familiar with who's on first,
- 48:30Charles: right?
- 48:31Mandy: Yeah.
- 48:31Nora: The Abbott and Costello routine.
- 48:32Charles: The Abbott and Costello routine,
- 48:34Charles: right?
- 48:35Charles: There is this 10 minutes,
- 48:38Charles: 10 minutes where Nathan Fielder
- 48:40Charles: is trying to explain to her who's on first.
- 48:44Charles: They watch it and she's like, yeah, that's funny.
- 48:47Charles: And he's like,
- 48:48Charles: why is it funny?
- 48:49Charles: and she can't answer him what the joke is
- 48:54Charles: or what the punchline is because she doesn't understand.
- 48:57Nora: Her brain is so different and it works so different.
- 49:00Charles: That she can't understand.
- 49:02Mandy: I kinda feel that whenever we watch those
- 49:06Mandy: silly little guys.
- 49:08Charles: I get that.
- 49:10Charles: That's different.
- 49:10Nora: That's taste of comedy.
- 49:11Nora: That's comedy taste.
- 49:13Nora: But who's on first is the best known comedy bit of all time.
- 49:17Charles: And he explains it.
- 49:18Charles: 'Cause it's a misunderstood thing.
- 49:19Charles: It's because,
- 49:20Charles: yeah, it's a comedy of errors
- 49:21Charles: kind of thing. - So she's purposely
- 49:22Mandy: being obtuse.
- 49:23Charles: Yeah,
- 49:24Charles: I don't know,
- 49:25Charles: that's the thing.
- 49:26Charles: Nora says yes and I say no.
- 49:29Charles: And this is what the whole movie is.
- 49:30Nora: Which is amazing,
- 49:31Nora: like it's so good.
- 49:32Mandy: I did it and I did it really, really well in law school
- 49:36Mandy: to the point where nobody could tell
- 49:38Mandy: if I was joking or not about being dumb or not.
- 49:41Mandy: So like,
- 49:42Mandy: you kinda do get an upper hand
- 49:43Mandy: by being the dumb airhead in some cases,
- 49:47Mandy: especially in law school where everyone's really competitive.
- 49:49Nora: One of the things that I've also seen noted
- 49:52Nora: is she always has an entourage of men around her,
- 49:54Nora: but her manipulation doesn't seem to work as well on women.
- 49:57Mandy: Yeah,
- 49:58Mandy: that could make sense.
- 50:00Mandy: Look,
- 50:01Mandy: I'll give the movie a shot first.
- 50:05Charles: You should,
- 50:06Charles: you should watch it at home.
- 50:07Nora: Even if you listen to it and kind of have your knitting
- 50:11Nora: out or your cooking or something,
- 50:14Nora: it's really an interesting movie and I know it's long.
- 50:17Nora: I struggled with it, it was really long.
- 50:19Nora: But I will watch it again when it's out on home streaming
- 50:24Nora: 'cause it was really good.
- 50:25Mandy: Okay.
- 50:26Nora: Yeah.
- 50:27Mandy: Well, I mean, she didn't have to watch
- 50:28Mandy: the one with Amanda in it, the movie,
- 50:31Mandy: without Nathan Fielder.
- 50:33Nora: Yeah,
- 50:33Nora: that's the dropout on Hulu,
- 50:35Nora: and it's a TV show.
- 50:36Mandy: Yeah.
- 50:37Nora: So it's pretty funny,
- 50:40Nora: according to the clips that I saw.
- 50:41Charles: I know, I was like, this looks so wild.
- 50:44Mandy: This looks pretty good. - Wait, so maybe you've seen
- 50:46Mandy: Have you seen that one,
- 50:47Mandy: then?
- 50:47Nora: I have not.
- 50:48Charles: I haven't seen it either.
- 50:49Nora: But there were clips of it shown in the movie,
- 50:52Nora: and it is kind of ridiculous.
- 50:55Nora: And at one point,
- 50:56Nora: Nathan Fielder and Elizabeth and Billy
- 50:58Nora: all watch it together.
- 50:59Nora: No.
- 51:00Nora: Yeah,
- 51:01Nora: and then Amanda-
- 51:02Nora: In bed all together.
- 51:03Nora: And then Amanda watches them watching her,
- 51:06Nora: and it's really meta.
- 51:08Nora: Like, this movie is the most meta movie that I've ever seen,
- 51:11Nora: but it's really well done, and it really makes you think.
- 51:14Nora: and there's not any new information about Theranos.
- 51:17Nora: It's about who you can trust and who's telling the truth
- 51:20Nora: and what the truth is,
- 51:22Nora: you know?
- 51:22Nora: And so I think that's what is very effective with it.
- 51:26Mandy: Okay.
- 51:27Charles: And I watched this entire movie
- 51:28Charles: with this bucket on my head.
- 51:29Charles: (laughing)
- 51:30Charles: No, I didn't.
- 51:31Mandy: Was it in the front row?
- 51:32Charles: I was in the front row of the theater wearing this.
- 51:37Mandy: Not blocking anyone's view.
- 51:38Charles: Right,
- 51:39Charles: no, no, no.
- 51:40Charles: I had it in my lap going,
- 51:44Charles: (laughing)
- 51:45Charles: This is gonna be so funny on Vibe Channel.
- 51:48Charles: (laughing)
- 51:49Nora: I think the other movie that we have been meaning
- 51:51Nora: to talk about is Obsession.
- 51:52Charles: I watched it.
- 51:53Mandy: You did?
- 51:54Charles: I watched it, it's scary.
- 51:56Mandy: What?
- 51:57Mandy: No.
- 51:57Mandy: You thought it was scary?
- 51:59Charles: I wasn't,
- 51:59Charles: I had a hard time
- 52:01Charles: 'cause I don't do well with horror movies.
- 52:02Mandy: No, but it's not even horror.
- 52:04Mandy: It's a thriller.
- 52:06Mandy: Really?
- 52:06Charles: What are you talking about?
- 52:08Nora: What are you talking,
- 52:09Nora: Are you talking about the time when she gets slammed on
- 52:12Nora: with the brick?
- 52:13Charles: Yes,
- 52:14Charles: that's one of the moments.
- 52:16Nora: What's the other moment?
- 52:17Charles: The moment where she's just in the corner of the bedroom.
- 52:20Charles: Oh,
- 52:20Charles: that was scary.
- 52:22Charles: Yeah, that was crazy.
- 52:24Charles: The moments,
- 52:24Charles: okay,
- 52:25Charles: we're on a different movie now.
- 52:26Charles: Spoiler alert.
- 52:31Charles: Yeah.
- 52:32Charles: She's in Fortnite now, by the way.
- 52:34Nora: Her face, she's so beautiful.
- 52:36Nora: Yeah.
- 52:38Charles: Yeah,
- 52:38Charles: I think that it's gonna be a wild ride
- 52:44Charles: for everybody who's involved with that movie
- 52:46Charles: because they're going to blow up.
- 52:48Nora: They're so good.
- 52:49Charles: For doing like an indie movie
- 52:51Charles: that they never expected it to do this well.
- 52:56Charles: I think she's cast in an X-Men movie already.
- 52:58Charles: For sure.
- 52:59Charles: Yeah,
- 53:00Charles: so,
- 53:01Charles: but overall,
- 53:02Charles: it was a good movie.
- 53:04Charles: I really enjoyed it.
- 53:05Charles: I had some complaints,
- 53:11Charles: like storytelling wise,
- 53:12Charles: some plot holes.
- 53:14Charles: Yeah,
- 53:15Charles: like when did she get the gun?
- 53:20Mandy: Some of us just always have them.
- 53:23Charles: No, but there's a very specific gun
- 53:25Charles: that they mentioned at the beginning of the movie.
- 53:27Charles: They said the guy who owns the business,
- 53:31Charles: the dad,
- 53:32Charles: he has a gun in the safe.
- 53:35Charles: So, and I said right off the bat,
- 53:36Charles: I was like, oh, this is literally Chekhov's gun.
- 53:39Charles: That gun is gonna pop up later in the story.
- 53:41Charles: And it does. - Yeah.
- 53:42Charles: And there's no like,
- 53:44Charles: she never went to the store
- 53:45Charles: to go get a gun or anything along those lines.
- 53:48Charles: She just had a gun on her.
- 53:50Charles: And I assumed that there was probably some scene
- 53:54Charles: where she,
- 53:55Charles: that they cut out,
- 53:56Charles: where she walked into the store and got the gun.
- 53:58Nora: I would assume so.
- 53:59Charles: But like,
- 54:01Charles: there's moments like that
- 54:02Charles: that really kind of like freak me out.
- 54:04Charles: Oh,
- 54:04Charles: the moment where she's screaming while he's on the phone
- 54:07Charles: with the customer support for the One Wish Willow,
- 54:13Charles: that was awful.
- 54:15Charles: That was,
- 54:16Charles: you guys are like,
- 54:17Charles: oh, this is not a horror movie.
- 54:18Charles: Yes, it is.
- 54:19Charles: This is a scary movie.
- 54:21Nora: They weren't jump scares.
- 54:22Mandy: I think it's a horror movie, but I don't think it's scary.
- 54:27Nora: Yeah.
- 54:28Charles: I struggled.
- 54:29Mandy: Maybe I don't feel fear the right way.
- 54:31Charles: Yeah.
- 54:32Nora: I can watch like fucked up things.
- 54:36Nora: It's when I get a jump scare that I hate
- 54:38Nora: or like when it's too gory.
- 54:40Nora: But then again,
- 54:41Nora: I've been watching gorier and gorier movies
- 54:43Nora: and be like,
- 54:44Nora: oh,
- 54:45Nora: like, and that's,
- 54:46Nora: what does that say about me?
- 54:48Mandy: No,
- 54:48Mandy: I think there's like a certain age where it switches.
- 54:52Mandy: I used to be Charles and now I'm like,
- 54:56Mandy: let's bring it on, like the more horror, the better.
- 54:58Nora: Like I watched Midsommar this week too
- 55:00Nora: and that one was not very scary.
- 55:03Charles: Midsommar's not, it's kind of,
- 55:04Charles: that one's different.
- 55:05Nora: So, fucked up, I liked it.
- 55:06Mandy: So the actor's saying she took Sarah's body
- 55:09Mandy: to the music store and got the gun then.
- 55:12Charles: Oh,
- 55:13Charles: but is that really explained?
- 55:15Nora: Maybe it's a cut scene or something.
- 55:17Nora: It must have been a cut scene.
- 55:19Charles: Yeah.
- 55:19Nora: I really did enjoy it, I liked,
- 55:22Nora: I don't know,
- 55:22Nora: I liked the premise of it, that like,
- 55:24Nora: a good guy's,
- 55:27Nora: you know, has to face his own consequences,
- 55:30Nora: like the consequences of his actions
- 55:32Nora: and I think that's what,
- 55:34Nora: you know,
- 55:34Nora: makes it spooky.
- 55:36Charles: I do not like the,
- 55:40Charles: I don't know,
- 55:41Charles: it's just like when there's like abuse with women involved,
- 55:45Charles: it always is just like, I don't like that.
- 55:48Charles: Like obviously it's a good movie and I think that's great,
- 55:50Charles: but it's just like those moments make me just like.
- 55:53Charles: Very uncomfortable. - Very uncomfortable.
- 55:56Mandy: I mean, and that's the horror part.
- 55:57Charles: Yeah. - Yeah.
- 55:58Nora: That's the true horror of it, I think.
- 56:00Charles: Oh my gosh,
- 56:00Charles: when she's beating the girl's face
- 56:03Charles: into the car and her face is just like falling off.
- 56:06Nora: And he's like sitting in the,
- 56:07Nora: and he's just like,
- 56:09Nora: getting sprayed with blood.
- 56:12Mandy: Look,
- 56:13Mandy: I apologize.
- 56:14Mandy: I feel like I need to officially apologize to Charles
- 56:17Mandy: for saying this was not scary,
- 56:20Mandy: but also I must be dead inside.
- 56:21Nora: That was the one scene where I was like,
- 56:23Nora: I mean,
- 56:23Nora: it's gory,
- 56:25Nora: but it's not scary.
- 56:26Nora: That's what I meant.
- 56:28Mandy: Yeah,
- 56:28Mandy: I agree with that.
- 56:29Charles: I think it's scary as hell.
- 56:32Mandy: Aw, like.
- 56:33Charles: I'm a little baby though.
- 56:34Nora: I guess I read a lot of fuck up books.
- 56:35Charles: I'm just a little guy.
- 56:36Charles: I'm little Charles.
- 56:38Charles: Aw, little Charles.
- 56:40Charles: Little Charles.
- 56:40Nora: Little Charles didn't like when she got her head bashed in.
- 56:43Charles: I don't like it.
- 56:46Charles: (laughing)
- 56:47Nora: Yeah,
- 56:47Nora: but I have been enjoying watching some spooky movies
- 56:50Nora: and I like-
- 56:51Charles: We should all watch Resident Evil.
- 56:52Nora: Resident,
- 56:53Nora: I do want to, but I want to watch it at home.
- 56:55Charles: We have to go to the theater.
- 56:57Nora: I'm gonna be such a screamer.
- 56:58Nora: I don't want the jump scares.
- 57:01Nora: That sounds like a movie that's full of jump scares.
- 57:03Mandy: I watched one,
- 57:05Mandy: Maelstrom.
- 57:07Charles: Maelstrom.
- 57:07Mandy: Maelstrom.
- 57:10Mandy: Legitimately the first jump scare got me so bad
- 57:13Mandy: that I literally like screamed out loud
- 57:16Mandy: and the husband's like, "Oh my God, what?"
- 57:17Mandy: And I was like,
- 57:18Mandy: "Oh, they got me good."
- 57:19Nora: Yeah, right?
- 57:20Nora: That will be me if we go to Resident Evil.
- 57:24Nora: I feel like-
- 57:25Charles: We do Resident Evil or we do Whale Fall.
- 57:27Nora: I don't want to watch Whale Fall.
- 57:29Charles: Whale Fall?
- 57:29Charles: Have you,
- 57:30Charles: wait.
- 57:30Nora: I've seen it so bad.
- 57:32Nora: I don't want to pay them money.
- 57:33Charles: Can we please just show the trailer to Whale Fall?
- 57:35Nora: I want them to fail.
- 57:37Mandy: Are we gonna get copyrighted?
- 57:39Charles: Who cares?
- 57:40Charles: Don't worry about it.
- 57:41Mandy: How many viewers do we have?
- 57:42Mandy: W-H-A-L-E?
- 57:44Charles: W-H-A-L-E-F-A-L-L.
- 57:46Charles: Mm-hmm.
- 57:49Mandy: Ugh,
- 57:50Mandy: okay,
- 57:51Mandy: if this goes bad though,
- 57:52Mandy: I don't know how to get back from the browser window.
- 57:53Mandy: So here we go.
- 57:58Mandy: I feel like this is where it always goes wrong.
- 58:01Charles: You've got this.
- 58:02Nora: Resident Evil has 12 jump scares in it.
- 58:06Charles: Okay so it's this guy who's like scuba diving,
- 58:12Charles: right?
- 58:13Charles: And he gets eaten by a whale.
- 58:15Charles: And the whole movie is him trying to escape from the inside of the whale.
- 58:19Nora: I don't believe in that.
- 58:20Mandy: Noah's Ark.
- 58:22Mandy: Noah's Ark.
- 58:23Mandy: Yeah.
- 58:23Charles: Yeah,
- 58:24Mandy: did you know that I know no Jonah?
- 58:26Mandy: Sorry,
- 58:26Nora: Bailey and whales can't physically swallow anything larger than about a penny
- 58:33Mandy: Hey, the ocean is creepy I will a sperm whale maybe
- 58:38Nora: They're the ones that eat the squid and that's the one that is existing in this one, but I don't know look at it
- 58:44Charles: Look at it. It's come. It's coming to eat this dude.
- 58:47Charles: You can't run away.
- 58:48Charles: You're gonna get eaten by a whale man
- 58:52Nora: chomp I
- 58:54Nora: Whales are one of my favorite animals and I think this seems like a man
- 59:00Nora: messing with a whale.
- 59:01Nora: I've heard this story before.
- 59:04Nora: No thank you. Jonah?
- 59:05Nora: Yeah
- 59:06Nora: that one. Does he pray real hard?
- 59:08Nora: Let's see what was the other thing?
- 59:10Nora: How many... Oh my god.
- 59:13Charles: Oh my god.
- 59:14Nora: The budget for this was 60 million dollars.
- 59:19Mandy: What?
- 59:20Nora: And it has
- 59:21Nora: made 19.3 million.
- 59:23Nora: Oh damn.
- 59:26Charles: So we're gonna get a whale fall too.
- 59:28Nora: Damn it.
- 59:32Nora: Compared to...
- 59:34Mandy: So I need the statistics.
- 59:36Mandy: How many people a year get swallowed by a whale?
- 59:40Charles: I'm gonna
- 59:40Nora: Google it. It's like not even one.
- 59:44Mandy: I feel like it does not happen.
- 59:46Nora: It's like not
- 59:47Mandy: even one. But if they're doing a part one and a part two. It happens occasionally but like
- 59:51Nora: they get spit out.
- 59:52Charles: I do like Chris's message that says that I look like Bart
- 59:57Charles: Simpson.
- 1:00:04Nora: Yeah I see Johnny Bravo.
- 1:00:05Nora: Bart Simpson could work too.
- 1:00:07Mandy: I think I would
- 1:00:08Mandy: rather watch Resident Evil than this.
- 1:00:10Charles: Let's go see Resident Evil.
- 1:00:12Nora: Resident Evil. Okay so Resident Evil has two big jump scares and ten small
- 1:00:17Nora: I'll jump scarce.
- 1:00:20Nora: It's gonna make me poop.
- 1:00:22Charles: I heard it is very funny though.
- 1:00:25Nora: Okay,
- 1:00:25Nora: I do,
- 1:00:26Nora: I like a horror comedy.
- 1:00:28Nora: I really think horror comedy is like the best way to go
- 1:00:32Nora: because you get that like really scary business with it
- 1:00:35Nora: and then you get the comic relief.
- 1:00:37Charles: That's why I loved "Nope".
- 1:00:40Charles: "Nope" is really good.
- 1:00:41Mandy: Do I know "Nope"?
- 1:00:42Charles: "Nope" is the Jordan Peele movie
- 1:00:45Charles: About aliens.
- 1:00:49Mandy: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:00:50Mandy: Okay.
- 1:00:50Charles: Yeah.
- 1:00:51Mandy: Yeah, I always forget that one,
- 1:00:53Mandy: yeah.
- 1:00:54Nora: I need to watch some,
- 1:00:56Nora: I'm gonna Jordan Peele.
- 1:00:58Nora: It's gonna be on my list.
- 1:00:59Nora: A list of things to watch.
- 1:01:01Charles: Yeah. - So,
- 1:01:03Nora: additional horror movies that I can add
- 1:01:05Nora: to the list for this month.
- 1:01:06Mandy: Yeah, chat, give me more horror movies,
- 1:01:07Mandy: 'cause nothing is scaring me lately.
- 1:01:10Mandy: I think the world is so scary that like,
- 1:01:12Mandy: meh.
- 1:01:13Charles: That's why we go see Resident Evil in the theaters
- 1:01:15Charles: and I am just doing this the entire time,
- 1:01:17Charles: like la la la la la la la la la la.
- 1:01:20Nora: And you know when other people jump scare around you,
- 1:01:23Nora: it makes your jump scare worse.
- 1:01:24Mandy: Yeah.
- 1:01:25Mandy: So the question is,
- 1:01:27Mandy: will I be able to follow
- 1:01:29Mandy: Fast and the Furious 12 if I haven't seen
- 1:01:31Mandy: the first Fast and the Furious?
- 1:01:33Nora: Fast and the Furious 12?
- 1:01:34Nora: I don't think it matters at that point.
- 1:01:36Nora: Story isn't important,
- 1:01:37Nora: it's just about Carco Zoom Zoom.
- 1:01:39Mandy: Okay,
- 1:01:40Mandy: but I was asking about Resident Evil.
- 1:01:42Nora: Oh,
- 1:01:43Charles: this is oh, well, here's the thing pretty sure yeah
- 1:01:45Charles: Yes, you can understand it completely because it doesn't like have anything to do with the other movies.
- 1:01:50Charles: This is like a whole
- 1:01:52Nora: Separate and we don't thing and I don't have to be a video gamer to appreciate the movie
- 1:01:58Charles: No, so like it's it's also not a retelling of the games themselves either.
- 1:02:03Charles: It's
- 1:02:04Charles: From my understanding it is more of a telling of like what it feels to play the game
- 1:02:11Charles: Which is like a like oh,
- 1:02:14Charles: you know
- 1:02:15Charles: You have to find this key that unlocks that door over there and you have to solve this
- 1:02:20Charles: Little intricate puzzle and here's the next and then here's a jump scare. Here's a big scary guy in a room
- 1:02:28Mandy: Resident evil TV show and I actually like I know everyone hates it. I really liked it.
- 1:02:34Nora: Maybe you'll like the movie
- 1:02:35Charles: I think it's Zack Krager who did weapons
- 1:02:40Charles: And who also did barbarian which have you guys seen barbarian?
- 1:02:43Charles: Oh my god
- 1:02:45Charles: Actually, you know what you guys haven't seen barbarian.
- 1:02:48Charles: Can we watch barbarian this week and
- 1:02:51Charles: Come back next week and talk about yes,
- 1:02:53Nora: I can do that
- 1:02:54Mandy: If you text it in the group chat because I will never remember. Yeah,
- 1:02:58Nora: we'll do that.
- 1:02:59Nora: That sounds good.
- 1:03:00Charles: Okay, let me let me text
- 1:03:02Mandy: Next week though guys.
- 1:03:03Charles: Okay, but club next week.
- 1:03:05Charles: Yeah,
- 1:03:05Charles: so we'll come back the following week November or no
- 1:03:10Charles: It's still,
- 1:03:11Charles: how about this?
- 1:03:11Charles: Watch it.
- 1:03:12Mandy: Yeah.
- 1:03:13Charles: Give us your notes.
- 1:03:14Mandy: Okay,
- 1:03:14Mandy: cool.
- 1:03:14Mandy: Give me that.
- 1:03:16Nora: Yeah.
- 1:03:16Charles: We are all watching.
- 1:03:18Charles: That sounds good.
- 1:03:19Charles: Barnsbury.
- 1:03:19Nora: 'Cause I have been enjoying watching movies recently.
- 1:03:25Nora: I wanna watch "Prime Time."
- 1:03:26Nora: That's on my list of movies to watch as well.
- 1:03:30Nora: I wanna see that.
- 1:03:31Nora: I wanna see...
- 1:03:34Mandy: I want the spookies 'cause it's October
- 1:03:36Mandy: and I just don't know.
- 1:03:38Mandy: Yeah.
- 1:03:38Mandy: Spookies.
- 1:03:39Nora: I really enjoyed "Midsommar."
- 1:03:42Nora: It's been on my list for a long time
- 1:03:44Nora: and it was just about dang time that I watched it.
- 1:03:46Mandy: Yeah,
- 1:03:46Mandy: yeah it is.
- 1:03:47Nora: God, Florence Pugh is just so beautiful.
- 1:03:50Mandy: You're gay. - I'm a lovely woman.
- 1:03:52Nora: I am,
- 1:03:52Nora: I'm very gay.
- 1:03:54Nora: Yeah,
- 1:03:54Nora: every time I see-
- 1:03:55Mandy: I felt so strongly about that movie.
- 1:03:57Mandy: You don't like it?
- 1:03:58Mandy: No, I loved it.
- 1:03:59Mandy: I thought it was how Charles felt about obsession.
- 1:04:02Mandy: That's how I felt about "Midsommar."
- 1:04:04Nora: Yeah,
- 1:04:05Nora: like it's just, it was really enjoyable.
- 1:04:07Nora: like just the twisties and turnies
- 1:04:09Nora: and the slowly getting creepier and creepier
- 1:04:11Nora: and you know,
- 1:04:13Nora: what?
- 1:04:13Charles: You said the popcorn bucket?
- 1:04:15Charles: Yeah, this is what's on my head right now,
- 1:04:18Charles: folks.
- 1:04:18Charles: You have to cut to it.
- 1:04:19Mandy: Okay,
- 1:04:19Mandy: yeah.
- 1:04:20Charles: Yeah,
- 1:04:20Charles: I see it in the corner there.
- 1:04:24Mandy: Interesting,
- 1:04:24Mandy: oh wait, maybe you can push this button
- 1:04:26Mandy: and it works, yay! - There we go, yep.
- 1:04:28Nora: There's the street fighter popcorn bucket,
- 1:04:30Nora: but it doesn't really,
- 1:04:32Nora: I don't think there's a lot of people
- 1:04:35Nora: who understand the Street Fighter references.
- 1:04:38Nora: I think Street Fighter mostly did well
- 1:04:40Nora: with like old people,
- 1:04:43Nora: you know.
- 1:04:44Nora: (laughing)
- 1:04:46Mandy: What do you mean by that?
- 1:04:48Nora: People who grew up playing Street Fighter
- 1:04:50Nora: is really what I mean.
- 1:04:51Nora: Old?
- 1:04:52Nora: The nostalgia.
- 1:04:53Mandy: Street Fighter old?
- 1:04:53Mandy: So the people who may have been with their boyfriends
- 1:04:56Mandy: while they played that, while they were waiting for them.
- 1:04:59Mandy: Exactly,
- 1:04:59Nora: these old people right here.
- 1:05:01Nora: I'm not even 30 yet.
- 1:05:03Nora: I'm so old.
- 1:05:05Nora: I remember playing Street Fighter on my Sega Genesis.
- 1:05:09Nora: Exactly.
- 1:05:10Nora: Old, old,
- 1:05:12Nora: old.
- 1:05:14Nora: [LAUGHTER]
- 1:05:16Charles: Mandy, you've got something for us.
- 1:05:18Mandy: I do.
- 1:05:19Mandy: I have game.
- 1:05:19Mandy: It's game night.
- 1:05:20Charles: Game night.
- 1:05:22Mandy: No promises about game night.
- 1:05:26Mandy: But I figure,
- 1:05:27Mandy: you know,
- 1:05:28Mandy: it's been a while.
- 1:05:29Mandy: So maybe it's time for us to fight.
- 1:05:35Charles: Okay.
- 1:05:36Nora: Ding, ding, ding, ding.
- 1:05:38Nora: Let's go.
- 1:05:40Charles: Is that how you start a match?
- 1:05:42Nora: I don't know.
- 1:05:42Mandy: I have no idea.
- 1:05:44Charles: In this corner,
- 1:05:46Charles: weighing 196 pounds.
- 1:05:50Charles: This is my current weight right now.
- 1:05:53Mandy: It's your fighting weight?
- 1:05:55Charles: Yeah,
- 1:05:55Charles: it's my fighting weight.
- 1:05:56Nora: Okay,
- 1:05:56Mandy: so first stop, we're gonna start easy
- 1:05:58Mandy: and then we'll go harder.
- 1:05:59Charles: Okay.
- 1:06:02Nora: Over.
- 1:06:03Nora: Over.
- 1:06:03Charles: Are we, hold on real quick.
- 1:06:05Charles: We've got paper from the intern.
- 1:06:07Charles: And pens.
- 1:06:08Charles: And pens.
- 1:06:08Mandy: Oh, that's for the next game.
- 1:06:10Nora: Oh,
- 1:06:10Nora: okay.
- 1:06:10Nora: All right.
- 1:06:11Mandy: That's for the next game.
- 1:06:12Mandy: Somebody,
- 1:06:13Mandy: hey,
- 1:06:13Mandy: you're early.
- 1:06:14Charles: Oh no.
- 1:06:16Nora: That's for the next game.
- 1:06:19Charles: Oh my gosh.
- 1:06:21Charles: We're doing the Bean Boozled.
- 1:06:24Nora: Uh oh.
- 1:06:25Charles: There we go, okay.
- 1:06:26Nora: This is just Bertie Botts Beans rebranded.
- 1:06:29Nora: (laughing)
- 1:06:30Charles: Okay. - Uh-oh.
- 1:06:31Nora: Okay, cool.
- 1:06:32Charles: All right.
- 1:06:33Nora: That's game two.
- 1:06:33Charles: That's game two.
- 1:06:35Charles: Okay,
- 1:06:35Charles: over, under.
- 1:06:36Nora: Over,
- 1:06:37Nora: because that's the way it was patented
- 1:06:38Nora: and that's the correct way to put toilet paper.
- 1:06:40Charles: I hear you,
- 1:06:42Charles: but here's what I'm going to say.
- 1:06:46Charles: Cats fuck with toilet paper.
- 1:06:48Charles: And if you have it as the over,
- 1:06:51Charles: they're going to run through that sucker.
- 1:06:53Nora: I've never had that problem.
- 1:06:55Charles: you do under so that if they start tapping away at it,
- 1:06:59Charles: it flips around and it doesn't roll the entire roll out.
- 1:07:02Mandy: So,
- 1:07:03Mandy: I don't know.
- 1:07:04Mandy: So this is an easy one 'cause they say 70%
- 1:07:06Mandy: of the people say over.
- 1:07:08Mandy: I don't know what people,
- 1:07:09Mandy: but that's what they say.
- 1:07:10Mandy: But I just saw an interview with Nina Dobrev,
- 1:07:13Mandy: the Vampire Diaries,
- 1:07:15Mandy: Degrassi High thing,
- 1:07:17Mandy: person.
- 1:07:18Mandy: And she said under.
- 1:07:19Mandy: And that she will leave a bathroom if it's not under.
- 1:07:22Charles: What?
- 1:07:23Mandy: Yeah.
- 1:07:24Nora: You might as well switch it if it is under
- 1:07:26Nora: and put it over.
- 1:07:27Mandy: Right, because over is correct.
- 1:07:29Nora: It was patented that way and it's the right way.
- 1:07:31Nora: I've lived with five different cats.
- 1:07:33Charles: Do you call them gifs?
- 1:07:35Nora: I've lived with five different cats
- 1:07:37Nora: and I've never had a problem with any of those cats
- 1:07:39Nora: spinning the toilet paper.
- 1:07:41Charles: Just saying.
- 1:07:41Mandy: Gifs.
- 1:07:42Nora: Lived with a lot of cats.
- 1:07:43Charles: It's gif, right?
- 1:07:44Charles: So like,
- 1:07:45Charles: it doesn't matter what the owner calls it.
- 1:07:46Charles: It's depending on what the people use.
- 1:07:48Charles: I would say I am fine with either.
- 1:07:52Charles: I just think under personally.
- 1:07:57Nora: Okay,
- 1:07:57Nora: you're wrong.
- 1:07:58Mandy: You're wrong.
- 1:07:59Mandy: (laughing)
- 1:08:01Mandy: Sock, sock, shoe, shoe,
- 1:08:03Mandy: sock, shoe, sock, shoe.
- 1:08:04Mandy: Which order do you put them on?
- 1:08:06Charles: Oh my God.
- 1:08:07Charles: Sock,
- 1:08:08Charles: shoe,
- 1:08:08Charles: sock,
- 1:08:08Charles: shoe.
- 1:08:09Nora: What psychopath does sock, shoe, sock, shoe?
- 1:08:11Charles: That is psychopathic shit, I'm serious.
- 1:08:15Mandy: So the argument is you don't get your socks dirty.
- 1:08:20Nora: Your sock is the barrier between your foot and the floor.
- 1:08:22Nora: So if your sock gets a little dirty,
- 1:08:24Nora: then your sock gets a little dirty.
- 1:08:25Charles: Okay, but where are your shoes?
- 1:08:26Charles: Are your socks near the front door?
- 1:08:29Charles: Because my shoes are near the front door.
- 1:08:31Mandy: Yeah, like I said, we're starting easy.
- 1:08:33Mandy: This is real easy.
- 1:08:35Nora: You have to put your both socks on
- 1:08:37Nora: and then you put your shoes on.
- 1:08:38Mandy: Shout out to Dystopian Comics,
- 1:08:40Mandy: 'cause yes, that's correct.
- 1:08:41Mandy: What is wrong with that?
- 1:08:42Nora: Yeah,
- 1:08:43Nora: that's really,
- 1:08:44Nora: that's bizarre.
- 1:08:45Mandy: What is the correct length for a sock?
- 1:08:47Mandy: I didn't know this was up for debate.
- 1:08:48Charles: Mid. - All is good.
- 1:08:52Nora: But I do like a crew length sock.
- 1:08:54Charles: It depends on the shoe.
- 1:08:56Nora: You're absolutely right.
- 1:08:58Nora: You're absolutely right, it does depend on the shoe.
- 1:09:00Charles: I thought you were gonna say you're absolutely wrong
- 1:09:02Nora: and I was like-- - No, you're spot on.
- 1:09:04Nora: There's no,
- 1:09:05Nora: you really have to base it on your shoe.
- 1:09:07Nora: Sometimes I can't wear my hand knit socks
- 1:09:09Nora: with a pair of Birkenstocks
- 1:09:10Nora: 'cause they rub on the bottom of my toes wrong.
- 1:09:13Charles: I would say,
- 1:09:14Charles: do we have to choose one?
- 1:09:16Mandy: Yeah.
- 1:09:16Charles: Is that the game?
- 1:09:17Mandy: Yeah. - Mid.
- 1:09:18Mandy: Crew. - Crew.
- 1:09:20Mandy: 'Cause look,
- 1:09:20Mandy: I don't wear any kind of socks with shoes,
- 1:09:24Mandy: right, like I'm not that girl.
- 1:09:25Mandy: Like I'm not gonna wear socks in public.
- 1:09:27Nora: But I am wearing ankle socks right now.
- 1:09:29Mandy: So if I am in socks, it's because I'm at home
- 1:09:32Mandy: and my little toesies are cold.
- 1:09:33Mandy: And so if I'm cold, I want my whole legs covered.
- 1:09:35Mandy: So crew.
- 1:09:36Mandy: Okay.
- 1:09:37Nora: No-show socks, they tend to fall off my feet.
- 1:09:39Nora: So those I'm not a fan of.
- 1:09:41Nora: I do wear ankle socks like on days that are like
- 1:09:45Nora: kind of warm that I don't need like super warmth.
- 1:09:48Nora: I have a good pair of like,
- 1:09:50Nora: instead of like Timberland socks that are the crew length
- 1:09:53Nora: and I like those or mid length.
- 1:09:55Nora: And I make a lot of socks that are crew length.
- 1:09:57Nora: So I really,
- 1:09:58Nora: as long as it's not a no show sock,
- 1:10:00Nora: I'm not mad.
- 1:10:01Mandy: Apparently this is how Gen Z tells who's millennial.
- 1:10:08Mandy: 'Cause apparently millennials wear ankles
- 1:10:12Mandy: and the Gen Z's do not.
- 1:10:15Nora: They wear tall socks?
- 1:10:16Charles: No, it's because,
- 1:10:18Charles: very specifically,
- 1:10:19Charles: the ankles are cringe.
- 1:10:21Charles: Showing ankle is cringe.
- 1:10:22Mandy: So cringe.
- 1:10:23Nora: Because we're in a conservative society again.
- 1:10:26Mandy: Yeah,
- 1:10:26Mandy: hide those ankles.
- 1:10:27Mandy: Okay, we're gonna get a little bit harder.
- 1:10:31Mandy: Okay, let's start for the sandwich.
- 1:10:33Mandy: What's your next bite?
- 1:10:34Charles: B.
- 1:10:35Nora: B.
- 1:10:35Charles: B.
- 1:10:36Nora: 'Cause you gotta even it out, and then it's C.
- 1:10:38Nora: Like, it'd be B,
- 1:10:39Nora: C, and then go back for the rest of it.
- 1:10:41Mandy: I think you're wrong.
- 1:10:42Nora: What would you do?
- 1:10:43Mandy: C.
- 1:10:44Nora: Okay.
- 1:10:46Mandy: So now I eat the outside of my sandwiches and then just never eat the middles
- 1:10:53Charles: I mean you're objectively wrong, right? You have to understand that you're the
- 1:11:01Charles: Cuz that's some wild shit
- 1:11:04Nora: Live on a show like maybe I'd pick C next but like I want more meat in my stance
- 1:11:10Nora: Like I want the stuff in the bite.
- 1:11:12Nora: So I'm gonna take Phoenix.
- 1:11:13Mandy: It's a textural problem
- 1:11:14Mandy: Oh,
- 1:11:15Mandy: cuz the bite like the middle bite is just too squidgy
- 1:11:20Mandy: And so I'd like the texture of the squid with the squid with the squid and I can't
- 1:11:24Nora: Yeah, you're special.
- 1:11:25Mandy: Yeah.
- 1:11:26Mandy: Yeah, I mean,
- 1:11:26Mandy: that's perfect
- 1:11:29Mandy: What's the next one
- 1:11:30Charles: yeah, I think I'm wrong you have to finish what I would say art it here's here's what I'll say
- 1:11:37Charles: Possibly
- 1:11:38Charles: one.
- 1:11:39Nora: Yeah.
- 1:11:39Nora: Yeah
- 1:11:41Nora: But
- 1:11:41Nora: is
- 1:11:41Nora: sticking out. You really need to clean it up like
- 1:11:44Nora: It's it's yeah, you have to finish the body of the pizza before you go for the bones.
- 1:11:48Mandy: No,
- 1:11:49Mandy: so I don't I like those people who
- 1:11:52Mandy: Just leave their crusts. I feel like our barbarians
- 1:11:55Mandy: My next one is three because the whole point of eating the pizza is to eat the crust
- 1:12:00Nora: Well, I like the Papa John's with the garlic sauce that you can dip the crust in so like I you got to leave the bones
- 1:12:06Nora: For last so you can enjoy the garlic
- 1:12:10Nora: Like two it goes two and then one and then like because you need the bone is last you have to eat the body
- 1:12:17Charles: I'm not I'm not judging the way that you eat the pizza.
- 1:12:20Charles: I'm judging the fact that you like Papa John's
- 1:12:24Charles: There's so much better pizza,
- 1:12:27Charles: it's not it's not good pizza
- 1:12:37Charles: No!
- 1:12:38Nora: What are you gonna pick first?
- 1:12:40Charles: Blackjack, 100% of the time I'm gonna choose blackjack.
- 1:12:43Nora: I do forget blackjack exists.
- 1:12:45Charles: Blackjack is so good, guys.
- 1:12:47Nora: They're a little too peppery for my taste.
- 1:12:48Charles: Oh, I love it.
- 1:12:51Mandy: It's been a minute.
- 1:12:52Charles: But there is-
- 1:12:53Charles: You're not a pizza girl,
- 1:12:55Nora: so.
- 1:12:55Charles: That is,
- 1:12:57Charles: I'm a pizza girlie.
- 1:12:58Nora: No,
- 1:12:58Nora: Mandy is not really a pizza girlie.
- 1:13:00Mandy: I love pizza,
- 1:13:01Mandy: just without cheese.
- 1:13:02Nora: Just without cheese.
- 1:13:03Nora: She's not,
- 1:13:04Nora: she doesn't like,
- 1:13:05Nora: so you like,
- 1:13:06Nora: you like bread and sauce.
- 1:13:08Nora: (laughing)
- 1:13:09Mandy: I have toppings on it.
- 1:13:11Mandy: I put lots, I put extra toppings
- 1:13:13Mandy: that I made extra for the toppings
- 1:13:15Mandy: because I know there's not gonna be cheese.
- 1:13:18Mandy: Sometimes I get crazy and think I might want cheese.
- 1:13:20Mandy: So like Nora has witnessed me order a pizza
- 1:13:24Mandy: with cheese curds.
- 1:13:26Nora: You did pick most of them.
- 1:13:27Mandy: Eat one and then pick them all off.
- 1:13:29Nora: Yeah,
- 1:13:29Nora: you ate one and then picked the rest off.
- 1:13:31Nora: That's why I said you're not much of a pizza person.
- 1:13:33Mandy: I do like pizza though.
- 1:13:35Mandy: So I feel like the taco one,
- 1:13:37Mandy: I need help
- 1:13:38Mandy: because I struggle.
- 1:13:40Mandy: I don't know,
- 1:13:42Mandy: obviously four is wrong.
- 1:13:43Nora: I think three,
- 1:13:45Nora: because two or three,
- 1:13:47Nora: 'cause you kind of want to even out the weight
- 1:13:48Nora: on top of the taco so that you're not like losing some,
- 1:13:52Nora: if you bite too far under,
- 1:13:54Nora: you know?
- 1:13:54Nora: You want to make sure you eat it evenly down the taco.
- 1:13:57Charles: Here's where it's at.
- 1:13:59Charles: It's a none of the above.
- 1:14:01Charles: You just shove that whole fucker right in your gob
- 1:14:04Charles: and you just chew the whole thing.
- 1:14:06Charles: It's one bite.
- 1:14:07Charles: That is one bite left of that taco.
- 1:14:09Mandy: No, that is like 12 bites to me.
- 1:14:12Nora: But yeah.
- 1:14:14Nora: She's gotta eat a real big bite.
- 1:14:16Nora: Start at three and wrap your mouth around.
- 1:14:18Charles: Spoiler is about, you can see everything again.
- 1:14:23Charles: Who's the he?
- 1:14:24Charles: The husband,
- 1:14:25Charles: Billy.
- 1:14:27Charles: He eats dim sum dumplings all in one bite.
- 1:14:33Charles: He has these giant dumplings that he just engulfs.
- 1:14:37Charles: And I'm just like-
- 1:14:38Nora: There's a dumpling place in Loveland
- 1:14:40Nora: that I heard is really good,
- 1:14:41Nora: like a dim sum place in Loveland.
- 1:14:41Nora: Oh, I've heard about it.
- 1:14:43Nora: And I also wanna try the hot pot in Loveland.
- 1:14:45Charles: Ooh, we should go.
- 1:14:46Mandy: Yes to all that. - I need an excuse.
- 1:14:49Charles: But yeah,
- 1:14:49Charles: you definitely eat the whole thing in one bite.
- 1:14:51Mandy: Yeah, but if you look at the size of their hand,
- 1:14:53Mandy: that's like most of a taco.
- 1:14:55Mandy: That's a huge taco.
- 1:14:56Nora: You take a bite, you start at three
- 1:14:57Nora: and kind of wrap your mouth around
- 1:14:59Nora: and just see how much you can get in your mouth.
- 1:15:01Nora: That's really the way to do it.
- 1:15:03Charles: Do you know that photo,
- 1:15:04Charles: I think it was Justin Bieber
- 1:15:05Charles: where he's eating the burrito through the center.
- 1:15:08Mandy: Yes.
- 1:15:09Nora: What a nightmare.
- 1:15:10Nora: What a Canadian thing to do.
- 1:15:12Nora: They just don't know anything.
- 1:15:14Mandy: Well, hold on 'cause that's something like
- 1:15:16Mandy: that's coming up.
- 1:15:19Mandy: Juicy burger versus a smash burger.
- 1:15:22Nora: Ooh.
- 1:15:24Charles: I'll say in my opinion real quick.
- 1:15:27Charles: I think that if you're gonna have a big burger,
- 1:15:29Charles: it needs to be bigger,
- 1:15:31Charles: wider than bigger,
- 1:15:32Charles: tall.
- 1:15:33Nora: You're right.
- 1:15:34Charles: So like the juicy burger is harder to eat.
- 1:15:38Mandy: You shove it in your mouth.
- 1:15:40Charles: Yeah, 'cause you have to smash it yourself.
- 1:15:44Mandy: You just said like, "I'll eat a whole taco at once."
- 1:15:48Charles: Right,
- 1:15:48Charles: but there's a difference between a taco,
- 1:15:50Charles: which is like this, that you can just turn sideways
- 1:15:52Charles: and just go ham with.
- 1:15:55Charles: Then a burger that's like this,
- 1:15:57Charles: right?
- 1:15:57Charles: Like this is not gonna,
- 1:15:58Charles: you can't take an even bite of a juicy burger.
- 1:16:03Nora: I find that smash burgers are often over seasoned
- 1:16:07Nora: and they're too salty.
- 1:16:08Nora: So I would take a juicy burger over a smash burger,
- 1:16:11Nora: but that's because I worked at Freddy's
- 1:16:13Nora: and so I can't do smash burgers in general.
- 1:16:16Mandy: Oh, do we have any secrets with Freddy's?
- 1:16:19Mandy: Yes,
- 1:16:19Mandy: no,
- 1:16:19Mandy: nay.
- 1:16:20Nora: Custard is fantastic.
- 1:16:22Mandy: I mean, I'm not eating that, but sure.
- 1:16:24Nora: That's really what I like there.
- 1:16:26Nora: I would just eat ice cream every time I worked there.
- 1:16:29Nora: Not a huge fan of Smashburger.
- 1:16:30Nora: I like the juiciness of a burger,
- 1:16:32Nora: even if it's,
- 1:16:33Nora: you know, I've gotta love it.
- 1:16:34Mandy: Like when you eat it and it just spews back at you,
- 1:16:37Mandy: no thank you.
- 1:16:39Mandy: I like it. - Like a pass.
- 1:16:40Charles: Smashburger,
- 1:16:41Mandy: right? - Smashburger.
- 1:16:42Charles: I do agree with Nora on the take about
- 1:16:47Charles: Smashburger's not being as consistent.
- 1:16:50Charles: You say they're peppery.
- 1:16:51Charles: I think that they overcook them sometimes.
- 1:16:53Nora: Yeah.
- 1:16:53Charles: Like they get too crispy almost.
- 1:16:55Mandy: I don't like the crispiness.
- 1:16:56Mandy: I like that.
- 1:16:57Nora: I don't.
- 1:16:57Nora: And the more,
- 1:16:59Nora: I have had more smash burgers
- 1:17:01Nora: that are too crispy and too salty
- 1:17:02Nora: than I've had good smash burgers.
- 1:17:04Nora: Right.
- 1:17:05Nora: But I've had better juicy burgers
- 1:17:07Nora: than I have smash burgers, which is why I say juicy burger.
- 1:17:09Charles: Right.
- 1:17:10Mandy: Like it's textural, right?
- 1:17:11Mandy: Like I just want that crispy, crunchy,
- 1:17:13Mandy: and it's the same thing.
- 1:17:14Mandy: The reason why I don't eat the center.
- 1:17:15Mandy: So the burger, the juicy burger
- 1:17:17Mandy: is like the center of the sandwich.
- 1:17:20Nora: Not your jam.
- 1:17:21Mandy: Oh,
- 1:17:22Mandy: okay.
- 1:17:22Mandy: Yes.
- 1:17:23Nora: No, I'd take the squidgy.
- 1:17:25Mandy: Okay,
- 1:17:26Mandy: which is the biggest food offense?
- 1:17:28Nora: Okay, so we have pineapple on pizza,
- 1:17:30Nora: we have breaking pasta, we have taking a bite of a Kit Kat,
- 1:17:33Nora: we have meatloaf?
- 1:17:35Mandy: Nope,
- 1:17:35Mandy: that's-
- 1:17:35Nora: Ketchup on steak?
- 1:17:36Mandy: Steak with ketchup.
- 1:17:37Nora: And it looks pretty well done too.
- 1:17:39Nora: Brownie from the middle, and then what's that last one?
- 1:17:42Mandy: Potato salad with raisins.
- 1:17:43Nora: Oh, potato salad with raisins.
- 1:17:44Nora: That's it, that's the-
- 1:17:45Nora: Yeah, that's horrible.
- 1:17:46Charles: Yeah, that's the-
- 1:17:47Charles: That's evil.
- 1:17:48Charles: Those are bad,
- 1:17:49Charles: but like that's the worst.
- 1:17:50Nora: And then I would say, I would say this,
- 1:17:52Nora: the steak is probably next,
- 1:17:54Nora: like a well-done steak
- 1:17:56Nora: with ketchup on it.
- 1:17:59Mandy: Mine is probably, mine is the brownie.
- 1:18:02Mandy: 'Cause you are not even just doing something offensive,
- 1:18:04Mandy: you're destroying the whole pan.
- 1:18:06Mandy: And I'm pretty sure I'd have to throw it out
- 1:18:08Mandy: or give it to the actor in Lynn.
- 1:18:10Charles: Right,
- 1:18:11Charles: but like also you're not getting
- 1:18:13Charles: the best parts of the brownie.
- 1:18:15Nora: The best part of the brownie is the corner.
- 1:18:16Nora: Everybody knows that.
- 1:18:17Mandy: I think it depends on the day.
- 1:18:19Mandy: Like I like a squidgy middle.
- 1:18:21Charles: Have you seen those baking pans?
- 1:18:24Charles: Yeah, with all edges? - That have like,
- 1:18:25Charles: you can do all edges?
- 1:18:26Charles: Oh my God. - I'd like that.
- 1:18:28Nora: I'd like that a lot.
- 1:18:29Nora: Oh my God. - The edges get so caramely
- 1:18:30Nora: and crispy, they're so good.
- 1:18:32Nora: Pineapple on pizza,
- 1:18:33Nora: it's delicious.
- 1:18:33Nora: It's delicious. - The sweetness and the savory.
- 1:18:36Nora: You have the salty and the, it's perfect.
- 1:18:38Nora: It's good.
- 1:18:39Nora: Breaking your pasta,
- 1:18:40Nora: if it fits,
- 1:18:40Nora: if you need it to fit in your water,
- 1:18:42Nora: you need it to fit in your water.
- 1:18:43Charles: Yeah, it's fine.
- 1:18:44Charles: It's fine. - It doesn't change
- 1:18:45Nora: the flavor of the pasta.
- 1:18:46Nora: It doesn't change the fact that it cooks it.
- 1:18:48Nora: And in fact, I had somebody who is an arch nemesis of mine
- 1:18:51Nora: tell me that I'm not allowed to do that.
- 1:18:53Nora: So every time I cook spaghetti,
- 1:18:55Nora: I do break my pasta and say,
- 1:18:57Nora: "Fuck you, bitch."
- 1:18:58Nora: Every time.
- 1:19:00Nora: So like, I like doing that.
- 1:19:02Nora: And then the biting the Kit Kat, that's just wrong.
- 1:19:04Mandy: That is just wrong.
- 1:19:06Charles: It is wrong, but it's still just chocolate.
- 1:19:08Nora: But like, it's gonna,
- 1:19:09Nora: right.
- 1:19:09Nora: It's not the end of the world.
- 1:19:11Nora: It's like, if you don't, if you bite into a string cheese,
- 1:19:14Nora: which is what I do.
- 1:19:15Charles: Right. - Ugh.
- 1:19:15Nora: I do accept that biting into a string cheese is like biting into a Kit Kat bar.
- 1:19:19Nora: I'm okay with that.
- 1:19:21Mandy: I'm not.
- 1:19:23Mandy: But I also have OCD so the things that bother me probably don't bother you.
- 1:19:26Nora: I don't like playing with my food.
- 1:19:29Nora: I don't like having to pull it apart to eat it.
- 1:19:31Mandy: Oh my god and then I pull each level apart.
- 1:19:34Mandy: It's the whole point.
- 1:19:36Mandy: The whole point!
- 1:19:37Nora: Just eat the thing.
- 1:19:38Nora: No!
- 1:19:38Nora: Save the time.
- 1:19:42Nora: Yum!
- 1:19:43Mandy: Why is banana the best Laffy Taffy flavor?
- 1:19:45Mandy: This is the hardest one.
- 1:19:47Nora: Because it doesn't actually taste like bananas anymore.
- 1:19:50Nora: Tastes like old bananas and not new bananas.
- 1:19:52Charles: The grape one is the best.
- 1:19:53Nora: Wrong.
- 1:19:54Mandy: Grape?
- 1:19:55Mandy: No.
- 1:19:56Nora: Banana is the best and then maybe the green apple.
- 1:19:59Mandy: Banana is the best.
- 1:20:00Nora: Banana is not the best.
- 1:20:01Charles: No argument.
- 1:20:02Charles: It is the best.
- 1:20:03Charles: Green apple is pretty fucking good.
- 1:20:05Nora: Green apple is really good.
- 1:20:06Nora: Strawberry,
- 1:20:06Nora: really fucking good.
- 1:20:07Charles: Yeah.
- 1:20:08Nora: Laffy Taffy is fucking delicious by the way.
- 1:20:11Nora: Where is our Laffy Taffy and I need it.
- 1:20:15Mandy: So I may have purchased an entire tray of banana Laffy Taffy.
- 1:20:25Charles: Are you a banana superior?
- 1:20:30Charles: Do you have a banana superiority complex around like other candies too?
- 1:20:34Charles: Like if you go with Runts,
- 1:20:35Charles: are you banana all the time?
- 1:20:37Mandy: Yep.
- 1:20:38Mandy: Yep.
- 1:20:38Mandy: Always the banana.
- 1:20:41Nora: He's gonna eat all of her banana runs forever.
- 1:20:42Mandy: Oh, dang.
- 1:20:42Nora: Because he ate all of her banana runs once
- 1:20:44Nora: and she's never forgiven him.
- 1:20:47Nora: (laughing)
- 1:20:50Mandy: So we have another game.
- 1:20:52Mandy: Mm-hmm.
- 1:20:52Charles: I don't know how I feel about the bamboozled.
- 1:20:58Mandy: That's nice.
- 1:20:59Mandy: (laughing)
- 1:21:02Charles: Because we weren't informed
- 1:21:04Charles: that we'll be tasting wet dog beforehand.
- 1:21:07Nora: Oh.
- 1:21:09Mandy: So,
- 1:21:13Mandy: the intern has created a trivia game.
- 1:21:16Charles: Ooh,
- 1:21:17Charles: okay.
- 1:21:18Charles: So,
- 1:21:19Mandy: loser has to take a spin
- 1:21:22Mandy: on the wheel of disgustingness.
- 1:21:25Mandy: So you'll write your answers,
- 1:21:26Mandy: no cheating.
- 1:21:29Mandy: And you cannot argue with what the answer is
- 1:21:31Mandy: because I didn't come up with these questions.
- 1:21:34Charles: Okay, I love this.
- 1:21:35Mandy: Okay.
- 1:21:37Mandy: What is Scotland's national animal?
- 1:21:41Charles: Oh, God damn it.
- 1:21:43Charles: (both laughing)
- 1:21:49Mandy: We're not gonna wait forever 'cause that's dead air.
- 1:21:52Nora: Okay, ready?
- 1:21:52Mandy: You ready?
- 1:21:53Mandy: Go.
- 1:21:53Nora: Unicorn.
- 1:21:54Charles: It said worm.
- 1:21:55Mandy: Oh,
- 1:21:56Mandy: worm loses.
- 1:21:57Mandy: Okay, take a spin on, can you hold it up to the camera?
- 1:22:00Charles: Yeah.
- 1:22:00Mandy: Unicorn.
- 1:22:03Nora: That's where it-
- 1:22:04Mandy: Should we describe what this is?
- 1:22:06Nora: This Bean Boozled is just Bertie Bott's
- 1:22:08Nora: every flavored beans,
- 1:22:09Nora: but in a game form.
- 1:22:10Mandy: Okay, so there are two,
- 1:22:11Mandy: so each-
- 1:22:11Charles: Black one.
- 1:22:13Mandy: So each flavor,
- 1:22:15Mandy: they look the same,
- 1:22:17Mandy: right?
- 1:22:17Mandy: So they're the same color,
- 1:22:19Mandy: but you don't know if it's a good flavor,
- 1:22:20Mandy: like an edible one or a disgusting one.
- 1:22:22Charles: So it's a brown one.
- 1:22:23Charles: It's cappuccino or liver and onions.
- 1:22:25Nora: Oh God.
- 1:22:29Nora: Oh God,
- 1:22:30Nora: oh God,
- 1:22:31Nora: oh no!
- 1:22:33Nora: He's spit it in somewhere.
- 1:22:35Nora: Ew, no.
- 1:22:37Mandy: How bad is it?
- 1:22:39Charles: I wanna vomit.
- 1:22:40Nora: Cappuccino is such a good flavor.
- 1:22:44Nora: (laughing)
- 1:22:45Mandy: Well, we better not get any more of these wrong.
- 1:22:46Mandy: (laughing)
- 1:22:50Charles: That was disgusting.
- 1:22:53Charles: (laughing)
- 1:23:00Mandy: Look, I feel a-
- 1:23:01Video: I'm not losing.
- 1:23:02Mandy: I feel a little guilty.
- 1:23:03Mandy: Also,
- 1:23:04Mandy: I purchased this for me to use
- 1:23:06Mandy: when Nora and I were hosting,
- 1:23:08Mandy: so I had originally planned on me eating them.
- 1:23:13Mandy: Okay.
- 1:23:14Charles: I'm gonna yarf if I have to do another flavor here.
- 1:23:18Charles: (laughing)
- 1:23:22Mandy: Oh no.
- 1:23:23Charles: I need, you know what, I need the Sour Patch Kids.
- 1:23:25Charles: I'm gonna like blast this flavor out of my mouth.
- 1:23:27Nora: You need,
- 1:23:27Nora: you have some extra,
- 1:23:28Nora: you have snacks in your hat.
- 1:23:29Charles: Yeah,
- 1:23:30Charles: okay.
- 1:23:30Nora: All right,
- 1:23:31Nora: thanks, Trippie,
- 1:23:32Nora: much.
- 1:23:32Nora: (laughs)
- 1:23:34Mandy: Okay.
- 1:23:37Mandy: When it comes to sleeping,
- 1:23:40Mandy: what fairy tale character would I be?
- 1:23:43Nora: When it comes to what?
- 1:23:44Mandy: When it comes to sleeping,
- 1:23:46Mandy: what fairy tale character would I be?
- 1:23:49Charles: Oh. - What?
- 1:23:51Mandy: Yeah,
- 1:23:51Mandy: once again,
- 1:23:52Mandy: you can't argue with the questions
- 1:23:53Mandy: because I didn't write them.
- 1:23:54Nora: When it comes to sleeping,
- 1:23:55Nora: what fairy tale character would she be?
- 1:24:00Nora: Which one doesn't sleep very well?
- 1:24:05Mandy: You're on the right track.
- 1:24:07Mandy: You're honestly on the right track.
- 1:24:10Mandy: P.S. the actor thinks this is amazing and is very pro this game and watching Charles
- 1:24:14Mandy: do it.
- 1:24:18Nora: Charles is not having a good time you guys.
- 1:24:22Mandy: Okay we're not going to take forever though.
- 1:24:24Nora: I'm,
- 1:24:26Nora: Snow White.
- 1:24:28Nora: What's your guess?
- 1:24:29Charles: That was my guess too.
- 1:24:30Nora: Snow White?
- 1:24:31Mandy: It is the princess and the pea.
- 1:24:36Mandy: (laughing)
- 1:24:36Charles: So we both have to do it?
- 1:24:37Mandy: Yeah, you both win.
- 1:24:40Charles: Oh no.
- 1:24:40Charles: You gotta do the liver and onions.
- 1:24:41Nora: What?
- 1:24:42Nora: Oh no, oh God no.
- 1:24:45Nora: Okay,
- 1:24:45Nora: it went on brown again.
- 1:24:47Nora: So liver and onions or cappuccino.
- 1:24:50Mandy: Well, you have better odds,
- 1:24:51Mandy: let's say.
- 1:24:52Mandy: Oh,
- 1:24:53Mandy: oh.
- 1:24:56Nora: Nope.
- 1:24:58Nora: Not eating that.
- 1:25:00Nora: Liver makes me gag.
- 1:25:02Charles: No.
- 1:25:03Charles: Oh, hold on.
- 1:25:04Charles: Fucking go.
- 1:25:05Charles: There we go.
- 1:25:06Charles: Uh,
- 1:25:07Charles: oh no. Can I re-roll?
- 1:25:09Charles: It's dead fish or banana smoothie.
- 1:25:14Nora: These are bad, Mandeep. These are really bad.
- 1:25:18Nora: Bite it and then spit it out.
- 1:25:21Charles: I have to know which one it is.
- 1:25:26Charles: It's
- 1:25:26Nora: The pink?
- 1:25:28Charles: Is it this one?
- 1:25:30Nora: Let me see.
- 1:25:33Nora: Yeah.
- 1:25:34Nora: Go for that one.
- 1:25:44Nora: Mandy these are bad.
- 1:25:47Mandy: I mean I didn't I didn't buy them cuz they're good. Go kill yourself.
- 1:25:56Nora: most loving way possible that this is evil like diabolical like worse than
- 1:26:05Nora: Billy Evans level diabolical right here.
- 1:26:09Mandy: The actor says I'm dying.
- 1:26:12Nora: Yeah, that's only because you're not here.
- 1:26:14Mandy: Okay,
- 1:26:15Mandy: the next one.
- 1:26:16Mandy: Okay.
- 1:26:18Mandy: This one should be good.
- 1:26:19Nora: I can smell it.
- 1:26:20Nora: I can smell it.
- 1:26:23Charles: Okay.
- 1:26:24Mandy: Okay.
- 1:26:25Mandy: What band did I last see in concert?
- 1:26:32Charles: Wait, hold on.
- 1:26:35Charles: Okay.
- 1:27:05Charles: Fuck, fuck, fuck.
- 1:27:06Charles: You got this.
- 1:27:13Mandy: I mean, it has to be peach
- 1:27:14Mandy: or you would have been grossed out already,
- 1:27:16Mandy: yeah?
- 1:27:16Nora: I think.
- 1:27:17Charles: I already did that one.
- 1:27:18Nora: Uh-uh.
- 1:27:19Charles: I already did that one.
- 1:27:20Nora: I'm not eating that.
- 1:27:21Nora: I don't trust these.
- 1:27:23Nora: That tasted a little barfy to me.
- 1:27:27Charles: Pomegranate or old bandage.
- 1:27:31Charles: It's...
- 1:27:35Charles: Band-Aid.
- 1:27:36Mandy: Look, this is what happens when you make me come up with my own content.
- 1:27:40Nora: You can't smell it, and that's the problem.
- 1:27:45Nora: They're all evil.
- 1:27:47Nora: They're all bad.
- 1:27:48Mandy: They're not all bad. There are real ones.
- 1:27:51Nora: That smells like Band-Aid,
- 1:27:52Nora: too.
- 1:27:56Nora: How many more questions do we have?
- 1:27:58Mandy: Some.
- 1:28:00Nora: No.
- 1:28:00Nora: (laughing)
- 1:28:02Charles: I'm crying.
- 1:28:03Charles: Number?
- 1:28:04Mandy: Okay.
- 1:28:06Mandy: So this one, this one you should get.
- 1:28:09Mandy: What brand of car do I have?
- 1:28:11Charles: I don't know.
- 1:28:15Charles: What's the other one?
- 1:28:16Nora: A Mazda?
- 1:28:17Charles: Honda.
- 1:28:18Mandy: What?
- 1:28:19Charles: No,
- 1:28:19Charles: it's a Mazda.
- 1:28:20Mandy: It is a Mazda.
- 1:28:21Mandy: (laughing)
- 1:28:24Charles: Already did that one.
- 1:28:26Charles: Already did that one.
- 1:28:28Charles: Okay.
- 1:28:29Nora: Is there a booger?
- 1:28:31Nora: Okay.
- 1:28:32Charles: That's fine.
- 1:28:33Nora: Boogers are fine.
- 1:28:35Nora: It's just salty.
- 1:28:40Charles: Why do I have all of the bad flavors?
