- 1:30Speaker 4: do is go to the top left menu, hit that
- 1:33Speaker 4: drop down, type in a username, your email address, and
- 1:37Speaker 4: your password, and we want to say welcome to His
- 1:41Speaker 4: Hot family in the live chat. This is a place
- 1:44Speaker 4: where we hold each other accountable, where we pray for
- 1:47Speaker 4: each other. We encourage each other to stay on this
- 1:51Speaker 4: path because we know it's tough enough. It's hard enough
- 1:55Speaker 4: trying to do this on our own, and we know
- 1:58Speaker 4: that this world shows no mercy. So this is a
- 2:03Speaker 4: place of refuge. This is a place where we can
- 2:05Speaker 4: come together as brothers and sisters and the Lord. And
- 2:10Speaker 4: this is a place where we can get that support
- 2:13Speaker 4: that is desperately needed for this walk. Amen. And so
- 2:19Speaker 4: as we do that, we also go through the word
- 2:21Speaker 4: of God together. We also pray for one another, and
- 2:26Speaker 4: we also just walk in love. You know. Just like
- 2:28Speaker 4: the scriptures command us to right, God commands us even
- 2:33Speaker 4: to love our enemies. As a matter of fact, if
- 2:36Speaker 4: we do service for God and there's no love, that
- 2:41Speaker 4: service does not count. Amen. So that's what we do.
- 2:45Speaker 4: That's what we're here for. That's why we do this podcast.
- 2:49Speaker 4: That's why we meet here every day. My prayer is
- 2:51Speaker 4: that our desire and our discipline will grow, that our
- 2:59Speaker 4: commit meant to meet God every day will not be
- 3:02Speaker 4: a chore, will not be some type of thing we
- 3:06Speaker 4: have to fight through, but it'll be the joy, the highlight,
- 3:10Speaker 4: the pleasure of our hearts. That we will desire to
- 3:13Speaker 4: spend time with our heavenly Father. Amen. So as we
- 3:18Speaker 4: do so today, on the podcast. We asked you and
- 3:20Speaker 4: invite others. We asked you, well, God, to invite people
- 3:24Speaker 4: to the Life Chad, that we will grow this online community.
- 3:29Speaker 4: We need your help. We cannot do this ourselves. We
- 3:32Speaker 4: need y'all to get the word out and to help
- 3:35Speaker 4: and support so we can grow this thing. And let's
- 3:39Speaker 4: also pray over it. Heavenly Father, we come before you
- 3:43Speaker 4: this morning. We ask Father God, Lord for your grace
- 3:46Speaker 4: and for your mercies. We ask Father God for your love,
- 3:50Speaker 4: Oh God, O Lord, just to rest upon this podcast today.
- 3:54Speaker 4: We pray Father God, that all distractions removed. We pray
- 3:59Speaker 4: Father God, that the Linco God will be accessible Father,
- 4:03Speaker 4: Oh Lord, for those who you want to hear this, Lord,
- 4:06Speaker 4: that they will click on it, that they will spend time,
- 4:09Speaker 4: Oh God, to dig into it. That they will not
- 4:11Speaker 4: just listen, but they will open their Bibles. God, that
- 4:14Speaker 4: they will dig. Go God, that they will Father God,
- 4:17Speaker 4: receive a mighty touch from your hand. Father. We thank
- 4:20Speaker 4: you and we praised you, Father God in Jesus' mighty name.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Hey man, Amen, all right, So today's scripture we're gonna
- 4:33Speaker 4: be finishing out. Hopefully we can finish it. Jeremiah chapter thirteen,
- 4:40Speaker 4: and we're going to pick up where we left off.
- 4:43Speaker 4: We left off in verse twelve on our last episode,
- 4:49Speaker 4: and we talked about the question that Jeremiah had, you know,
- 4:54Speaker 4: why do the wicked prosper? We talked about the horseman.
- 4:59Speaker 4: If you can't run with the footmen, how you're going
- 5:02Speaker 4: to keep up with the horses. And we saw how
- 5:06Speaker 4: God's grace is sufficient, that God is the answer to
- 5:10Speaker 4: all of our struggles and everything that we may deal
- 5:13Speaker 4: with and everything that may come our way. Well, today
- 5:18Speaker 4: we're going to talk about pride. It is not good
- 5:22Speaker 4: for us to hold on to our pride and to
- 5:25Speaker 4: ignore the voice the correction of our heavenly Father. Right.
- 5:34Speaker 4: So in verse twelve, it says, God tells y'remaya to
- 5:40Speaker 4: say that every wine skin will be filled with wind,
- 5:46Speaker 4: and the people respond as though the statement is obvious,
- 5:52Speaker 4: the God reveals its deeper meaning. Right. So in verse
- 5:58Speaker 4: twelve it says, therefore, you shall speak to them this
- 6:05Speaker 4: word that says the Lord God of Israel, every bottle
- 6:09Speaker 4: shall be filled with wine. And they will say to you,
- 6:15Speaker 4: should we not certainly know that every bottle will be
- 6:18Speaker 4: filled with wine? So that's their response. It's like, okay,
- 6:23Speaker 4: captain obvious. You know that's what the wine bottle is for, right,
- 6:29Speaker 4: We're supposed to fill it up with wine.
- 6:34Speaker 2: One.
- 6:35Speaker 4: All right, let's go verse thirteen. Then you shall say
- 6:38Speaker 4: to them, thus says the Lord. Behold, I will fill
- 6:42Speaker 4: all the inhabitants of this land, even the kings who
- 6:46Speaker 4: sit on David's throne, the priest, the prophets, and all
- 6:51Speaker 4: the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Now look at the order. We
- 6:56Speaker 4: can see that God is a god of order. He
- 6:59Speaker 4: addresses the king, he addresses the priest and the prophets,
- 7:05Speaker 4: and then it goes all the way down to the inhabitants.
- 7:08Speaker 4: So it's very important to understand the type of leadership
- 7:13Speaker 4: that we are under a man. It starts with the king,
- 7:17Speaker 4: it starts with the leader, the head of the house,
- 7:20Speaker 4: and it just shows you that God is a god
- 7:23Speaker 4: of order, even in judgment. He goes from the priest,
- 7:27Speaker 4: the king, all the way down to the priest, to
- 7:29Speaker 4: the prophets, to the inheritance, or should I say, the
- 7:33Speaker 4: inhabitants of Jerusalem, and he says, he will fill them
- 7:37Speaker 4: with drunkenness, and I will dash them one against another,
- 7:43Speaker 4: even the fathers and the sons together. Wow, dashing. You
- 7:49Speaker 4: think of dashing, You think of like, have you ever
- 7:53Speaker 4: grabbed a bug or something like that, or been out
- 7:56Speaker 4: to the beach and you grab some type of a
- 7:59Speaker 4: bug ugg seashelled or something you just dashed it against
- 8:02Speaker 4: the rocks. That's the image that I get when I
- 8:06Speaker 4: read this. And he says the fathers and the sons,
- 8:10Speaker 4: he's dashing people. He's dashing the inhabitants of the land
- 8:15Speaker 4: because they refuse to listen to him. He says he
- 8:19Speaker 4: was dashing together, says the Lord. I will not pity,
- 8:22Speaker 4: nor spare, nor have mercy, but will destroy them. These
- 8:28Speaker 4: are strong words. These are very strong words. Amen. Now
- 8:38Speaker 4: the wine represents spiritual intoxication and confusion. Now they think
- 8:45Speaker 4: you know that he's being captain obvious, Like, yeah, you know,
- 8:48Speaker 4: of course, you're going to fill the bottle with a beverage.
- 8:52Speaker 4: You know what I mean, You're gonna fill it up
- 8:53Speaker 4: with the wine. But no, this drink is going to
- 8:58Speaker 4: be a different mix. There's gonna be different ingredients. There's
- 9:03Speaker 4: gonna be a spiritual ingredients in this bottle. It's God's
- 9:09Speaker 4: fury that they're gonna drink because Juda rejected God's truth,
- 9:15Speaker 4: he would allow them to experience the consequences of their rebellion.
- 9:23Speaker 4: Like I said, it goes from the leaders, the priest,
- 9:26Speaker 4: the prophets, and ordinary people alike will face this judgment. Now.
- 9:34Speaker 4: When people repeatedly reject God's wisdom, they often become confused
- 9:39Speaker 4: by the very choices they insist on making.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Right.
- 9:46Speaker 4: A hardened heart eventually loses the ability to recognize truth,
- 9:52Speaker 4: which is scary. We need not to harden our hearts, amen.
- 10:00Speaker 4: We need to be conscious of the decisions that we
- 10:04Speaker 4: make on a day today. Basis now verse fifteen through seventeen.
- 10:12Speaker 4: Here and give ear. Do not be proud. Now, that's
- 10:17Speaker 4: the key verse for today. Pride was their downfall, and
- 10:23Speaker 4: we know that pride is the original sin that caused
- 10:29Speaker 4: Lucifer to fall from heaven. Hey man, so let's see
- 10:33Speaker 4: how dangerous. Let's really pay attention and see how dangerous
- 10:37Speaker 4: pride can really be. For the Lord has spoken, give
- 10:42Speaker 4: glory to the Lord your God. Before he cast darkness,
- 10:48Speaker 4: and before your feet stumble on the dark mountains. And
- 10:54Speaker 4: while you are looking for light, he turns it into
- 10:58Speaker 4: the shadow of death and makes it dense darkness. Now,
- 11:04Speaker 4: this right right here reminds me. I always refer to
- 11:08Speaker 4: these needs right near death experiences that I've been looking
- 11:13Speaker 4: up on YouTube, and I don't know, I think it's healthy,
- 11:18Speaker 4: to a healthy reminder to keep the fear of the
- 11:21Speaker 4: Lord in front of us, to know that there is
- 11:24Speaker 4: a place called Hell, and there are billions of people
- 11:28Speaker 4: that are there now who are suffering and being tortured
- 11:32Speaker 4: by demons there in the flames burning. And one thing
- 11:36Speaker 4: that is common that they all share was that there
- 11:39Speaker 4: is a darkness in Hell. It's a darkness that can
- 11:43Speaker 4: be felt. It's a darkness. They even mentioned that it
- 11:47Speaker 4: feels like it's alive. It just comes over you. It's
- 11:51Speaker 4: like you can't even see your hand in front of
- 11:54Speaker 4: your face. It's just so dark. And God is saying
- 11:59Speaker 4: right here that if you reject the light, you will
- 12:03Speaker 4: stumble in the darkness. He will remove his light from us.
- 12:08Speaker 4: And that's what I'm getting when I read this section here,
- 12:12Speaker 4: and it says, and before your feet stumble on the
- 12:17Speaker 4: dark mountains, and while you are looking for light, he
- 12:21Speaker 4: turns it into the shadow of death and makes it
- 12:25Speaker 4: dense darkness. But if you will not hear it, my
- 12:29Speaker 4: soul will weep in secret for your pride. My eyes
- 12:33Speaker 4: will weep bitterly and run down with tears, because the
- 12:39Speaker 4: Lord's flock has been taken captive. And the reason for
- 12:46Speaker 4: this is pride. God pleads with his people here and
- 12:51Speaker 4: pay attention. Do not be arrogant, for the Lord has spoken.
- 12:58Speaker 4: This is one of the most compassionate movements in Jeremiah.
- 13:03Speaker 4: As he's delivering this message to the nation. God isn't
- 13:07Speaker 4: eager to punish his people. He's urging them to repent
- 13:11Speaker 4: before it is too late, before they cross that line.
- 13:16Speaker 4: Jeremiah even says that he will weep in secret because
- 13:20Speaker 4: of their pride. Wow. That reminds us that faithful servants
- 13:27Speaker 4: of God do not celebrate when judgment falls right. They
- 13:33Speaker 4: grieve over people who refuse God's mercy. Now, humility opens
- 13:43Speaker 4: the doors to restoration, but pride closes even our ears
- 13:52Speaker 4: to the voice of God. Let me say that again.
- 13:56Speaker 4: Humility will open up doors for restoration, but pride we
- 14:04Speaker 4: close those doors to the point where we don't even
- 14:08Speaker 4: we can't even hear from God. Verse eighteen and nineteen,
- 14:18Speaker 4: say to the King and to the Queen Mother, humble yourselves,
- 14:22Speaker 4: sit down for your rules shall collapse. The crown of
- 14:27Speaker 4: your glory. The cities of the South shall be shut up,
- 14:32Speaker 4: and no one shall open them. Judas shall be carried away, captive,
- 14:38Speaker 4: all of it. It shall be wholly carried away. Wow,
- 14:45Speaker 4: he said all of it now. Jeremiah warns the king
- 14:50Speaker 4: and the queen mother to humble themselves because their crowns
- 14:55Speaker 4: are about to fall. Earthly positioned title or influence can
- 15:04Speaker 4: protect anyone from God's judgment. But also remember, leadership carries responsibility.
- 15:14Speaker 4: God hold leaders accountable for how they influence others. Even though,
- 15:21Speaker 4: like I said, their structure, it starts with the king,
- 15:25Speaker 4: then it goes to the prophets, the priest, then to
- 15:29Speaker 4: the inhabitants. Even though everybody will suffer the consequences, the
- 15:36Speaker 4: leaders are held to a higher standard of accountability because
- 15:42Speaker 4: they have a higher influence over the people. All right,
- 15:53Speaker 4: Verse twenty, lift up your eyes and see those who
- 15:57Speaker 4: come from the north. As I've said before, for that
- 16:00Speaker 4: they would be invading from the northern part of the country,
- 16:06Speaker 4: and the first tribe that they would encounter is the
- 16:09Speaker 4: tribe of Dan. If you study and do your research,
- 16:12Speaker 4: Dan was the first tribe to fall in idolatry and
- 16:16Speaker 4: piggot worship, and Dan in a book of Revelation when
- 16:21Speaker 4: it comes to one hundred and forty four thousand, Dan
- 16:25Speaker 4: was the one tribe that was omitted from that list.
- 16:30Speaker 4: And so I think it's because of this, because of
- 16:34Speaker 4: their position of leading Israel astree. But I leave that
- 16:38Speaker 4: to your own studies. But it says, lift up your
- 16:42Speaker 4: eyes and see those who come from the north. Where
- 16:47Speaker 4: is the flock that was given to you, your beautiful sheep.
- 16:52Speaker 4: What will you say when he punishes you, for you
- 16:56Speaker 4: have taught them to be chieftain, to be head over you?
- 17:03Speaker 4: You will not pain sees you like a woman in labor.
- 17:08Speaker 4: And if you say in your heart, why have these
- 17:11Speaker 4: things come abund me for the greatness of your iniquity?
- 17:16Speaker 4: Your skirts have been uncovered, your heels made bare? Can
- 17:23Speaker 4: the Ethiopian change his skin?
- 17:26Speaker 1: Now?
- 17:26Speaker 4: I find this kind of interesting because the Ethiopian is
- 17:32Speaker 4: from I want to say Africa, but I could be wrong.
- 17:37Speaker 4: I think Ethiopia is its own nation. But we know
- 17:40Speaker 4: they have the dark skin. Basically, the black race is
- 17:46Speaker 4: in the Bible is referred to the Ethiopians, and they're
- 17:50Speaker 4: named here. And he says can he change his skin? Right,
- 17:55Speaker 4: So that's basically something impossible to do unless I don't know,
- 17:58Speaker 4: you're Michael Jackson, You're able to kind of like bleach
- 18:02Speaker 4: your skin a little bit. That's the only one that
- 18:05Speaker 4: I can refer to under that example. But also it
- 18:10Speaker 4: says the leopard changes spots, you know, the leopard. You know?
- 18:16Speaker 4: Then may you also do good who are accustomed to
- 18:21Speaker 4: do evil? All right, so let's break this down right now,
- 18:31Speaker 4: here's our consequences of our sin, and our rebellion is
- 18:36Speaker 4: against God. When God asks Judah where the people are
- 18:41Speaker 4: who once surrounded the protect and protected them? Right, a
- 18:46Speaker 4: nation trusted political allegiance instead of trusting God is basically
- 18:53Speaker 4: what he's saying. Now those false securities have disappeared, you know, Judah.
- 18:59Speaker 4: What always they would try to go to the surrounding
- 19:03Speaker 4: nations like Egypt, and they try to get allegiance in
- 19:09Speaker 4: find alliance with these different nations that they've had trouble
- 19:12Speaker 4: with in the past. We know that Egypt. They used
- 19:16Speaker 4: to be slaves to Egypt at one point, but they're
- 19:21Speaker 4: going to them for help. This is like a political
- 19:23Speaker 4: move and they're trying to gain allies to help them
- 19:27Speaker 4: but they were nowhere around, and when they ask why
- 19:34Speaker 4: these things are happening, God gives them the answer. Right,
- 19:38Speaker 4: because of your repeated sin, because of your iniquity that
- 19:43Speaker 4: you refuse to repent of. Now, sometimes we spend more
- 19:47Speaker 4: time questioning God than examining our own selves. Right. The
- 19:52Speaker 4: Bible says that a man can go astray and suffer
- 19:57Speaker 4: the consequences, and then our hearts fret against God as
- 20:02Speaker 4: if it's God's fault, Like we're upset over the consequences,
- 20:07Speaker 4: not heartbroken over our sin that we've been sinning against God.
- 20:14Speaker 4: And it says can the Ethiopian change his skin or
- 20:19Speaker 4: the leopard its spots? Now, the point is not really
- 20:23Speaker 4: about ethnicity, it's about human inability. Right, how helpless we
- 20:30Speaker 4: truly are. People cannot transform their sinful nature by willpower alone. Right,
- 20:38Speaker 4: We need help. If we really want to change, we
- 20:42Speaker 4: really need to cry out for God. Change requires God. Now,
- 20:47Speaker 4: there's a lot of self help books out there, there's
- 20:50Speaker 4: a lot of gurus out there, there's a lot of
- 20:53Speaker 4: people that can show you how to establish discipline. But
- 20:59Speaker 4: if you really want to change, you really need to
- 21:02Speaker 4: cry out to God. Because you can do good for
- 21:05Speaker 4: ten years, five years, twenty years. But if you don't
- 21:08Speaker 4: have the grace of god s'steening you, chances are you
- 21:12Speaker 4: will fall back to that old lifestyle that you refuse
- 21:16Speaker 4: to give up and surrender over to the King Amen,
- 21:26Speaker 4: Verse twenty four. Therefore I will scatter them like stuble
- 21:31Speaker 4: that passes away by the wind of the wilderness. This
- 21:37Speaker 4: is your lot, the portion of your measures for me,
- 21:44Speaker 4: says the Lord, because you have forgotten me and trusted
- 21:48Speaker 4: in falsehood. Now there is a lot said right there.
- 21:54Speaker 4: The enemy doesn't really fill our hearts with hatred towards God.
- 22:00Speaker 4: He is more cunning than that. The enemy knows that
- 22:04Speaker 4: his best bet is to get us to forget about God.
- 22:08Speaker 4: If we get so distracted, we get so busy throughout
- 22:11Speaker 4: the day, and if we can't make it to our
- 22:14Speaker 4: prayer time with God, then we push it back to
- 22:17Speaker 4: the next day, the next day. The next thing you know,
- 22:20Speaker 4: a week goes by, we haven't opened up our bibles,
- 22:24Speaker 4: two weeks a month, six months a year, and then
- 22:30Speaker 4: we can even get to the point where we even forget,
- 22:33Speaker 4: like God doesn't even come into our minds. Right, that's progressive,
- 22:37Speaker 4: that's how he works. And there's a promise in the
- 22:40Speaker 4: Bible that says the nations that forget about God will
- 22:44Speaker 4: be turned into hell. That is that we need to
- 22:49Speaker 4: pray against that against forgetting about our relationship with our
- 22:55Speaker 4: heavenly Father. And it says, because you've forgotten about Me
- 23:00Speaker 4: and trust it in falsehood. Therefore I will uncover your
- 23:04Speaker 4: skirts over your face that you that your shame may appear.
- 23:12Speaker 4: I have seen your idolatries in your lustful nate names,
- 23:19Speaker 4: the lewdness of your hearly tree, your abominations on the
- 23:24Speaker 4: heels in the fields. Woe to you, old Jerusalem? Will
- 23:29Speaker 4: you still not be made clean? This is good. God
- 23:37Speaker 4: is a straight shooter, and he goes straight to the issue.
- 23:41Speaker 4: Right now, he's describing them being scattered like chaff before
- 23:48Speaker 4: the wind. Your their unfaithfulness has become public to every
- 23:55Speaker 4: you want to see. Yet God's final words are heartbreaking
- 23:59Speaker 4: to the The question is how long will you be unclean?
- 24:05Speaker 5: A man?
- 24:08Speaker 4: How long will you be unclean? That's another T shirt.
- 24:13Speaker 4: That's a question right. We need to ask ourselves, ask
- 24:18Speaker 4: our family, ask everyone around us, how long will you
- 24:23Speaker 4: be unclean? Now? It's a cry of love, a loving
- 24:29Speaker 4: father asking how long his children will continue to reject him,
- 24:36Speaker 4: like haven't you got it by now? Don't you understand
- 24:42Speaker 4: that you need me right now? Today's passage challenges every
- 24:55Speaker 4: believer to ask yourself, is pride keeping me from here
- 25:00Speaker 4: God's voice? Am I quick to accept correction? Have I
- 25:08Speaker 4: trusted people or possessions more than trusting in God? Is
- 25:15Speaker 4: there an area where I need to humble myself today?
- 25:20Speaker 4: God always resists the proud. That's another T shirt I'm
- 25:26Speaker 4: giving make any check out the store on the his
- 25:28Speaker 4: hot radio app. I'm gonna be making these shirts because
- 25:32Speaker 4: we need to like put this in the forefront of
- 25:35Speaker 4: our mind right. God always resists the proud, but he
- 25:41Speaker 4: gives grace to the humble. Hey man, with that, let's
- 25:48Speaker 4: take a quick break.
- 25:50Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 25:53Speaker 5: is the Hiss hop radio show.
- 26:08Speaker 3: I don't got time to waste. I don't know what's
- 26:10Speaker 3: my last day. I gotta find his face. It's a
- 26:13Speaker 3: real walk. I need knowledge. I cannot jig in place

- 26:18Speaker 3: in my face. I'm gonna sign into grace. I gotta
- 26:21Speaker 3: get it repentance. I gotta get a replenish. I gotta
- 26:23Speaker 3: put in the minutes at loheen. He is the lord
- 26:25Speaker 3: of the LANs. I gotta be a gootentant get on
- 26:27Speaker 3: his team. I draw a line in the sand. I
- 26:29Speaker 3: gotta show him my minute. Where do I lean? Whenever
- 26:31Speaker 3: I don't understand, I gotta make a decision, decision. All
- 26:34Speaker 3: I want to see is God when I see my complexion.
- 26:37Speaker 3: All I want to see is God when I see
- 26:39Speaker 3: my reflection reflection. But if I want God protect you,
- 26:43Speaker 3: then before I ever get tempted, I gotta find the exit.
- 26:47Speaker 3: All I look for is God when I can't find direction.
- 26:50Speaker 3: The Wi Fi been online because it's a divine connection.
- 26:52Speaker 2: He had to show me the ropes.
- 26:53Speaker 3: He taught me the throat thought it was fabulous when
- 26:55Speaker 3: he spoke.
- 26:56Speaker 2: I read what he wrote. He kept me a float.
- 26:57Speaker 2: I felt like Lazarus when I woke there. But what
- 27:01Speaker 2: if I die to day? I can't risk it.
- 27:03Speaker 3: I gotta make sure I take time to pray, pray,
- 27:07Speaker 3: But what if I die to day? That's what God
- 27:09Speaker 3: asks every time I throw my time away. Okay, we're
- 27:12Speaker 3: back with a sequel. I'm number one. You never won, No,
- 27:15Speaker 3: we are not egle. I do it for fun.
- 27:18Speaker 6: The father, the son and a penny me leave thing
- 27:20Speaker 6: brought me out the grave and turning parraise the residents, evil,
- 27:23Speaker 6: rolling with God, exposing the fraud and charging a rico.
- 27:27Speaker 2: Lately I've been hearing backpipe. I'm ready for walk.
- 27:30Speaker 6: All that that would do is pass light, toxic with it.
- 27:32Speaker 6: Must be feeling like a mos in it for the
- 27:34Speaker 6: cross main history. I told me he gonna id for
- 27:37Speaker 6: sent it. Try and luck boys off with me. I've
- 27:39Speaker 6: been running like a mile of minute. Somebody gotta clean
- 27:41Speaker 6: off of me. I've been feeling like a toddler with it.
- 27:43Speaker 6: Old money, come, remote problems. He's voice, only God could
- 27:46Speaker 6: feel it at the creator, after the common I've been
- 27:49Speaker 6: moving like I'm toddler with it.
- 27:50Speaker 2: Let's get it, Let's get it.
- 28:01Speaker 3: Too many times, look, too many times I thought I
- 28:04Speaker 3: had lost him. I wasn't moving correct. Then I remember
- 28:07Speaker 3: that I had the scripture or wash me. That's when
- 28:08Speaker 3: he said to connect. Even when all of that smoke
- 28:10Speaker 3: get off you, you still gotta go back in and check, check,
- 28:13Speaker 3: get God. Be moving like a post office when the
- 28:15Speaker 3: deliveryings go in effect.
- 28:16Speaker 6: Okay, too many times I thought I should qulit. God
- 28:18Speaker 6: told me to stay on the ground after you slid,
- 28:20Speaker 6: keep taking the risks. Watch on my father redeeming. The
- 28:22Speaker 6: time God told me Lucy gonna loosen the strips, I
- 28:24Speaker 6: told him I'm trying to sing a litte fire.
- 28:25Speaker 2: For they told me he gonna.
- 28:26Speaker 5: I ged it.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Clip on anything living lu three and nine, Luke Brin nine.
- 28:29Speaker 2: If it ain't bearing good proof, look how quickly I'll
- 28:31Speaker 2: be in the fire.
- 28:32Speaker 3: I told guy. The day I don't tell him about you,
- 28:34Speaker 3: it was the day that I'll probably retire.
- 28:35Speaker 2: What do you admire? If it don't.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Embody the truth, then you better start switching desires to
- 28:38Speaker 3: double the liar.
- 28:39Speaker 2: No, I don't control me my soul. Never go be
- 28:41Speaker 2: up for hire.
- 28:41Speaker 6: Tell me what do we say to this if it
- 28:43Speaker 6: if I God ain't making this, me and my team
- 28:45Speaker 6: ain't trying to go green while still in the spirit,
- 28:47Speaker 6: be paperless. So when the big keep going in and
- 28:49Speaker 6: he keep falling, thief, try to creep for the week,
- 28:51Speaker 6: keep showing in the meat, never folding the meat on
- 28:53Speaker 6: the heavens the irth till then we're gonna keep keep going.
- 29:08Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of las Vegas. This
- 29:12Speaker 5: is the His Hop radio show.
- 29:31Speaker 4: All right, all right, we are back from the break.
- 29:34Speaker 4: This is your boy, mister His Hop and that was
- 29:37Speaker 4: carrying the lights for our musical break today. We gotta
- 29:42Speaker 4: be the light. He's talking about what if I die today?
- 29:45Speaker 4: That's a good question to ask, right because tomorrow is
- 29:49Speaker 4: not promised. I'm want to give a huge shout out
- 29:53Speaker 4: to the light Dad, shout out to our brother Zone.
- 29:55Speaker 4: What's up? Brother Zone three? Our brother Zone has been
- 29:59Speaker 4: dethrown for the past two episodes from being the trivia champ.
- 30:04Speaker 4: But let's see what happens today. Let's see if he
- 30:07Speaker 4: you know, he can be like Rocky Bell bulla right
- 30:10Speaker 4: and come with a comeback. I also want to give
- 30:13Speaker 4: a shout out to the reigning trivia champ, Missus Hoppo
- 30:17Speaker 4: has been popping up. It's been nice, it's been encouraging.
- 30:21Speaker 4: I want to thank you guys for showing up. Yes,
- 30:24Speaker 4: she did get the Trivia Champ spot yesterday. She posted it.
- 30:31Speaker 4: She had a great response to the trivia question, so
- 30:37Speaker 4: she was ready for that. So, Brother Zone, you gots
- 30:40Speaker 4: some competition here, my brother and so as we talk
- 30:45Speaker 4: about that, let's actually go to our next segment, which
- 30:49Speaker 4: is the accountability partner. This is where we reach out
- 30:56Speaker 4: to the people in our lives who will tell us
- 30:59Speaker 4: the truth right, who will share scripture you know, won't
- 31:03Speaker 4: sugarcoat it. They're not people pleasers. These people want to
- 31:07Speaker 4: please God. And as we see by the scriptures, especially
- 31:11Speaker 4: the Book of Jeremiah, how we can be led astray
- 31:14Speaker 4: by the dictates of our own hearts, our own imaginations,
- 31:19Speaker 4: our own thoughts could lead us astray. We need to
- 31:22Speaker 4: renew our minds and we need somebody to say, you
- 31:25Speaker 4: know what, this is the word of God. You are
- 31:29Speaker 4: way off on your thinking, your decisions, the things that
- 31:32Speaker 4: you want to do right is good. It's a safe
- 31:35Speaker 4: place to have that, and we have it right here
- 31:39Speaker 4: on the podcast. Now. Of course, we want you to
- 31:43Speaker 4: be plugged into your home church. Your pastor or some
- 31:47Speaker 4: leaders or someone who's spiritually mature should be working with you.
- 31:51Speaker 4: But we are also here to come alongside. If you
- 31:54Speaker 4: don't have it, then you got it right here. All
- 31:57Speaker 4: you have to do is participate. If you go to
- 31:59Speaker 4: the top left men, you hit that drop down, click
- 32:03Speaker 4: on podcasts and click on Yours Truly to his Hot
- 32:06Speaker 4: Radio podcast. Then scroll down until you see the Accountability
- 32:11Speaker 4: Partner link. You can go over the questions and it
- 32:14Speaker 4: only works if we do it with integrity. Right, we
- 32:19Speaker 4: have to be honest with ourselves. Go over the questions
- 32:22Speaker 4: and then you can request the follow up and someone
- 32:26Speaker 4: from my team or even myself, we will hit you up.
- 32:29Speaker 4: We will pray with you, and we will help you.
- 32:31Speaker 4: Maybe there's a sin that you're struggling with, we want
- 32:34Speaker 4: to pray with you and help you to get over it.
- 32:37Speaker 4: Sometimes you need that agreement in prayer. Some of us
- 32:41Speaker 4: we get saved, but we never get delivered from things,
- 32:45Speaker 4: and so there is a process of being delivered as well,
- 32:48Speaker 4: and so we want the full deliverance.
- 32:52Speaker 6: Right.
- 32:52Speaker 4: We want all that God has given us when he
- 32:56Speaker 4: died on the cross. We have so many benefits. A
- 33:00Speaker 4: lot of people do not experience it because they don't know.
- 33:04Speaker 4: And so that's what we want to do here on
- 33:07Speaker 4: the podcast. And we also give daily challenges. If you
- 33:10Speaker 4: look in the Life Chat, you will see the challenge
- 33:13Speaker 4: today for the Accountability Partner. Now it says today, ask
- 33:17Speaker 4: your accountability partner, where have you seen God helping me
- 33:21Speaker 4: grow in humility? Do you see that you are growing
- 33:27Speaker 4: in humility? And what areas do you see yourself growing?
- 33:31Speaker 4: Do you see God helping you right? Because he resists
- 33:34Speaker 4: the prow but he gives grace to the humble. And
- 33:40Speaker 4: where do I still need to surrender my pride? What
- 33:44Speaker 4: area of your pride? I believe we all deal with
- 33:49Speaker 4: it right. We all have the sinful nature. So we
- 33:54Speaker 4: need to admit at first thing, admit that we have
- 33:58Speaker 4: pride in our lives, and then we need to surrender
- 34:02Speaker 4: that pride over to the Lord, and then listen carefully,
- 34:06Speaker 4: pray together, invite God to shape our characters. Hey man, now,
- 34:12Speaker 4: this is the process. This is what will keep us
- 34:15Speaker 4: on that narrow path if we go through these exercises,
- 34:20Speaker 4: and if we go through the process and allow God
- 34:23Speaker 4: to work in us and through us. Say man, Also,
- 34:29Speaker 4: I want to remind you all that his Heart Radio
- 34:31Speaker 4: is a monitor and a reporting radio station. We pay royalties.
- 34:35Speaker 4: We just don't play music over the internet. We do chart.
- 34:41Speaker 4: We report to three different charts, and even the Hiss
- 34:44Speaker 4: Heart Radio app itself is a chart. There's a chart
- 34:48Speaker 4: system built in it. There's multiple radio stations on it
- 34:51Speaker 4: and each one has a chart. You can click the
- 34:55Speaker 4: thumbs up button and give it five stars every time
- 34:59Speaker 4: you hear your favorite song, and that's how you will
- 35:02Speaker 4: rank up. And you can even vote for the song.
- 35:05Speaker 4: So let's be the Christian a hotspot or the Christian
- 35:11Speaker 4: hip hop headquarters for everyone who wants to get their
- 35:15Speaker 4: music out there and get that exposure. If you want
- 35:18Speaker 4: to submit your music, go to our website his hotmation
- 35:22Speaker 4: dot com and hit that submissions tab and we will
- 35:26Speaker 4: hook you right up. All right, all right, now it
- 35:38Speaker 4: is time for the trivia. I'm gonna have to get
- 35:42Speaker 4: like some drum rolls or something, you know what I mean.
- 35:46Speaker 4: Get your fingers ready and get ready to go over
- 35:50Speaker 4: to the life chat. The first one who gives a
- 35:54Speaker 4: correct answer will be the trivia champion for today. Now
- 35:59Speaker 4: this is his high. She requested that these questions will
- 36:04Speaker 4: be harder, more of a challenge, right, so, I don't know,
- 36:08Speaker 4: hopefully today will be a better challenge today to get
- 36:12Speaker 4: you guys to research and to really, you know, engage
- 36:17Speaker 4: your brains with the scriptures. But anyway, here's a question.
- 36:22Speaker 4: According to Jeremiah thirteen twenty three, what two things are
- 36:27Speaker 4: used to illustrate humility inability to change itself? What two things?
- 36:36Speaker 4: Let me repeat it, and we even give you the
- 36:40Speaker 4: scripture Jeremiah thirteen twenty three. What two things are used
- 36:46Speaker 4: to illustrate not humility, is humanity's inability to change itself? See?
- 36:54Speaker 4: I got to ask the right question? All right? What
- 36:56Speaker 4: two things are used to illustrate humanity's inability to change itself?
- 37:03Speaker 4: One more time? You've been listening. If you've been listening
- 37:06Speaker 4: and paying attention to the podcast, you should have an
- 37:09Speaker 4: answer already. What two things are used to illustrate humanities
- 37:16Speaker 4: inability to change itself? All right? Let's see the zoom
- 37:23Speaker 4: will get his thought back today. All right. Our next
- 37:29Speaker 4: segment is our community shout out, and here we want
- 37:33Speaker 4: to let you know about our up and coming events.
- 37:36Speaker 4: The big one on the calendar right now is August
- 37:41Speaker 4: the twenty ninth. We will be at the Resort World.
- 37:43Speaker 4: It is open to the public. It is a business mixer,
- 37:47Speaker 4: but we will bring the podcast there. We will actually
- 37:50Speaker 4: be working with another radio station. Will be there as
- 37:56Speaker 4: a radio personality as a host, and also I will
- 38:00Speaker 4: be there on the ones and twoes bringing you that
- 38:03Speaker 4: hot heat playing at Christian hip hop. You know what
- 38:06Speaker 4: we do, and so if y'all want to come out
- 38:10Speaker 4: I believe it's actually free. It'll be like an all
- 38:14Speaker 4: day event, especially if you're a business owner. We encourage
- 38:18Speaker 4: you to come out and to get involved. Also, we
- 38:28Speaker 4: want to let you know that His Hot Nation, Inc.
- 38:30Speaker 4: Is a nonprofit organization. We are at five oh one
- 38:34Speaker 4: c three a public charity. We are looking for support.
- 38:39Speaker 4: We need a new building. We opened up a Christian
- 38:43Speaker 4: club back in twenty twelve and we've been able to
- 38:46Speaker 4: operate it for seven years. And I believe that God
- 38:51Speaker 4: is not finished. I believe that's still the vision. Unless
- 38:54Speaker 4: the Lord says something different, we want to relaunch or
- 38:57Speaker 4: we open the club. But also in humility, right, we
- 39:02Speaker 4: know that we cannot do this on our own. This
- 39:05Speaker 4: is meant for the Body of Christ to get involved
- 39:08Speaker 4: and take ownership right because we are advancing the Kingdom together.
- 39:13Speaker 4: So we are asking for donors, monthly donors and supporters, sponsors.
- 39:19Speaker 4: We're asking for grant writers if you know of any
- 39:22Speaker 4: grants that would fit our organization. We're asking for those
- 39:28Speaker 4: who can volunteer, and eventually our heart and desire is
- 39:33Speaker 4: to be able to hire people, hire employees. That this
- 39:36Speaker 4: will be one of the biggest organizations in the state
- 39:39Speaker 4: of Nevada, and so we believe that there's purpose behind it.
- 39:43Speaker 4: We have youth programs. We need you to sign up
- 39:47Speaker 4: your youth. If you have young adults in the house,
- 39:50Speaker 4: teenagers in the house, please check out go to our
- 39:54Speaker 4: nonprofit website, Hishotnation dot org and see how you can
- 39:58Speaker 4: sign up your children. We can do things mobile right now.
- 40:02Speaker 4: We can do things through zoom or over the internet,
- 40:06Speaker 4: but we do need a building so that if you
- 40:12Speaker 4: want to support us, you can donate on our website
- 40:16Speaker 4: Hishtnation dot com, or even on our nonprofit is dot org,
- 40:21Speaker 4: or on the app his Hot Radio on all platforms end.
- 40:26Speaker 4: It is a tax write off for you. All right,
- 40:34Speaker 4: I have closing prayer. We're going to do a little
- 40:39Speaker 4: bit of reflection, closing remarks, and then we will be
- 40:45Speaker 4: closing out for this episode. I want to thank everyone
- 40:48Speaker 4: for showing up, especially those who showed up to the
- 40:51Speaker 4: life Chat. Very encouraging. It helps us to keep this
- 40:56Speaker 4: podcast going, hey man. And it just you know, just
- 41:01Speaker 4: a little encouragement to keep going when everyone comes in
- 41:05Speaker 4: and participate. But of course, if the Lord wants it
- 41:08Speaker 4: to keep going, it's gonna keep going. He man. But
- 41:13Speaker 4: Jeremiah thirteen ends with a sobering reminder that God doesn't
- 41:18Speaker 4: ignore sin. As I always say, God will, Sin will
- 41:23Speaker 4: separate us from our relationship with God and my personal testimony.
- 41:30Speaker 4: I've always been cool with being related to God. But
- 41:34Speaker 4: you know, even though we're related to him as far
- 41:37Speaker 4: as being born again, our fellowship can be broken. And
- 41:43Speaker 4: that is through sin. Right. The Bible calls it being
- 41:47Speaker 4: carnal and God hates it. God will not ignore it
- 41:51Speaker 4: if it continues, but He also doesn't stop calling people
- 41:57Speaker 4: back to himself, even though judgment may be coming. He
- 42:01Speaker 4: gives you that chance, and so we have to keep
- 42:04Speaker 4: our ears our eyes open and respond to the chances
- 42:10Speaker 4: that God gives us to get it right. Amen. For
- 42:13Speaker 4: some of us listening today, this could be your chance.
- 42:17Speaker 4: This could be your opportunity, because tomorrow is not promised
- 42:21Speaker 4: to no one. Right. His warnings are expressions of His love,
- 42:28Speaker 4: giving us opportunity to repent before our hearts grow cold
- 42:33Speaker 4: and our hearts grow hard and we're trapped and compromised. Amen.
- 42:39Speaker 4: Now the invitation is still the same today. Humble yourself,
- 42:43Speaker 4: listen to God's voice, and let him transform your life
- 42:49Speaker 4: from the inside out. Stay in the word, walk in humility,
- 42:57Speaker 4: live for God's glory and his glory alone. Emily, Father,
- 43:03Speaker 4: thank you for speaking truth into our lives today, even
- 43:07Speaker 4: when it's difficult to hear. Oh God, forgive us for
- 43:11Speaker 4: the times we've allowed pride, stubbornness, or even self reliance
- 43:16Speaker 4: to take your place. So God, creating us a humble
- 43:20Speaker 4: heart that are eager to listen and to quickly obey,
- 43:26Speaker 4: old God to quickly respond to you. Teach us to
- 43:29Speaker 4: trust you above our own understanding. Help us accept correction
- 43:35Speaker 4: when we gradually walk away from you. We ask by
- 43:43Speaker 4: the God that you strengthen every listener today, especially those
- 43:46Speaker 4: facing difficult decisions, difficult seasons, those who are struggling spiritually.
- 43:56Speaker 4: We ask God, Oh Lord, bless the ministry of his
- 43:59Speaker 4: radio and it's our nation in this podcast. Continue using
- 44:03Speaker 4: this platform to proclaim your word, to encourage believers, and
- 44:09Speaker 4: to reach those who need hope in Jesus Christ. And
- 44:13Speaker 4: we ask all these in the powerful mighty name of Jesus.
- 44:18Speaker 4: And remember it's not about us, It's all about the Christ.
- 44:21Speaker 4: And as God bless.
- 44:35Speaker 5: You are listening to the light of Las Vegas. This
- 44:38Speaker 5: is the Hiss Hop Radio Show.
