Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Thanks, Communism is so groovy. He laments the fall of
- 0:05Speaker 1: the two of the most murderous regimes in history, the
- 0:08Speaker 1: Soviet Union and chairman Maos China men Tommy's aid. His
- 0:12Speaker 1: top aide, Sea Weaver said, if you don't believe in
- 0:15Speaker 1: the government's sacred right to seize property, it's over and
- 0:19Speaker 1: impoverish the white middle class. What's a that's a goal.
- 0:27Speaker 1: You know you're supposed to scare people into voting for you.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Right you're listening to the forty seven Morning Update with
- 0:36Speaker 2: Ben ferguson.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Good Saturday morning. It's so nice to have you with
- 0:39Speaker 3: us on the forty seven Morning Update, and we've got
- 0:41Speaker 3: a big story for you. Democrats are now demanding and
- 0:45Speaker 3: wanting to change your constitution to put trans rights and
- 0:49Speaker 3: abortion rights in our constitution. Why are they trying to
- 0:54Speaker 3: do this? I explain it all for you. I want
- 0:57Speaker 3: to take a moment. I want to ask you to
- 0:59Speaker 3: join me in pre for the people they are suffering
- 1:02Speaker 3: right now in Israel. The headlines they move on, but
- 1:06Speaker 3: the heartache and terror do not. Iran and its terrace
- 1:09Speaker 3: proxies they're continuing to target Israel Hesbelah continues to attack
- 1:14Speaker 3: it in the north, forcing families to live on her
- 1:17Speaker 3: constant threat. Israel is not only defending her people, she
- 1:21Speaker 3: is standing on the front lines against terror that threatens
- 1:24Speaker 3: us all. And even when the news crews leave, the
- 1:27Speaker 3: International Fellowship of Christians and Jews they remain. Every day
- 1:32Speaker 3: they are on the ground providing life saving aid near
- 1:36Speaker 3: Israel's border with Lebanon. Hesblod drones recently struck the home
- 1:40Speaker 3: of Yolina. She was unfortunately widowed earlier this year. She's
- 1:44Speaker 3: now living alone and she was trapped inside by the blasts. Now,
- 1:49Speaker 3: thankfully she was not injured, but she remains displaced. As
- 1:54Speaker 3: she described it, it's hard these days, but I don't
- 1:56Speaker 3: want to leave, and why should she have to. Christians
- 2:00Speaker 3: were called to stand with God's people and pray for
- 2:03Speaker 3: those defending Israel and protecting the freedoms that we all hold.
- 2:07Speaker 3: So dear so I want you to join me and
- 2:10Speaker 3: the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews and praying for
- 2:13Speaker 3: peace of Jerusalem and for the soldiers, their families and
- 2:18Speaker 3: the civilians carrying the burden of this fight right now.
- 2:22Speaker 3: If you want to know who to pray for and
- 2:24Speaker 3: what is needed right now in prayer, go to pray
- 2:28Speaker 3: IFCJ dot org. That's prey pray IFCJ dot org and
- 2:35Speaker 3: join me in praying for the people of Israel. It's
- 2:38Speaker 3: the forty seven Morning Update and it starts right now.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Story number one.
- 2:43Speaker 3: If you thought that the Democratic Party was trying to
- 2:46Speaker 3: tone down their socialist, communist rhetoric before the midterms, well
- 2:50Speaker 3: you'd be wrong. Corey Bush has now come out and
- 2:53Speaker 3: is calling for other Democrats to join her as she's
- 2:57Speaker 3: now saying she wants transrites and abortion rights quote enshrined
- 3:04Speaker 3: in the United States Constitution. Now, this is former Representative
- 3:08Speaker 3: Corey Bush, a Democrat from Missouri, and she said that
- 3:11Speaker 3: if voters return her to Congress, she won't guarantee that
- 3:15Speaker 3: she will fight to enshrine these rights in the United
- 3:18Speaker 3: States Constitution through the Equal Rights Amendment. This is her now,
- 3:23Speaker 3: I guess profile of what she wants to do now.
- 3:26Speaker 3: Corey laid out the plan during an appearance on a
- 3:29Speaker 3: show on Sirius XM radio. The show called Urban View
- 3:32Speaker 3: or something like that, where she says she wants to
- 3:35Speaker 3: fight for the Equal Rights Amendment and make it the
- 3:38Speaker 3: twenty eighth Amendment. The interview was posted on YouTube days
- 3:43Speaker 3: before Missouri's Democratic primary, and Bush said that the amendment
- 3:48Speaker 3: would be the priority if she wins back her old seat.
- 3:51Speaker 3: Here is more of what she said.
- 3:53Speaker 4: I want to go back and fight for the Equal
- 3:55Speaker 4: Rights Amendment. I was the least sponsor a lot with
- 3:58Speaker 4: my sister Ayana Presley in the Congress. First time in history.
- 4:02Speaker 4: It was one hundred We hit the one hundred year
- 4:04Speaker 4: mark of the introduction of the Equal Rights Amendment, and
- 4:07Speaker 4: two black women were sponsoring that bill. Saint Louis was
- 4:12Speaker 4: leading on the Equal Rights Amendment. I want to go
- 4:14Speaker 4: back and take and work on that and get that
- 4:17Speaker 4: make sure that the Equal Rights Amendment becomes the twenty
- 4:19Speaker 4: eighth Amendment. Because when we when we look at what
- 4:25Speaker 4: the protections with that, uh, discrimination in the workplace, based
- 4:29Speaker 4: upon based upon sex, h in education, in housing, and
- 4:35Speaker 4: then also it trans rights, abortion rights, so much is
- 4:39Speaker 4: up under that Equal Rights Amendment. So have enshrining gender
- 4:43Speaker 4: equality is important.
- 4:46Speaker 3: So there it is a Democrat who is out of
- 4:49Speaker 3: office trying to get back into office and Bush framing
- 4:53Speaker 3: the era as the mechanism for locking in a range
- 4:57Speaker 3: of left wing policy priorities andvoting transgender to abortion policy. Quote,
- 5:03Speaker 3: when we look at the protections with that discrimination in
- 5:06Speaker 3: the workplace based upon sex and education and housing, and
- 5:09Speaker 3: then also trans rights, abortion rights. So much is up
- 5:14Speaker 3: under the Equal Rights Amendment. So enshrining gender equality is important. Yes,
- 5:20Speaker 3: Democrats are not learning from any of their defeats, and
- 5:24Speaker 3: they're not learning from any of what the American voters
- 5:27Speaker 3: are saying. Now during a twenty twenty three House hearing
- 5:30Speaker 3: on women's health, it's the same woman that claimed transgender
- 5:33Speaker 3: people need medication abortion to cope with restrictions on sex
- 5:38Speaker 3: change procedures from minors, arguing the drugs were quote life saving.
- 5:43Speaker 3: This isn't a joke her words, and then she compared
- 5:46Speaker 3: them to over the counter medications like Thailand. All. Yeah,
- 5:50Speaker 3: that's the same woman who was in Congress. Now, Bush
- 5:54Speaker 3: was a member of the far left squad. She represented
- 5:57Speaker 3: her district from twenty twenty one to twenty twenty five,
- 6:00Speaker 3: and she launched her comeback bid last October blaming the
- 6:04Speaker 3: pro Israel group APAK and Republican opponents for a defeat
- 6:08Speaker 3: by the fellow Democrat Wesley Bell in twenty twenty four.
- 6:12Speaker 3: She is running against the incumbent Bell for the nomination. Now,
- 6:15Speaker 3: why does this matter right now, well, because voters will
- 6:18Speaker 3: decide today between this Bell Bush rematch and the Democratic primary.
- 6:23Speaker 5: Now.
- 6:23Speaker 3: Former President Joe Biden declared in the final days of
- 6:26Speaker 3: his term that the heir was the law of the
- 6:29Speaker 3: land in the twenty eighth Amendment, a claim. Experts in
- 6:33Speaker 3: the National Archives also rejected. The architects of all of this.
- 6:38Speaker 3: They say, are, well, the real problem, yeah, you know,
- 6:40Speaker 3: the founding fathers, and they believe that the er or
- 6:44Speaker 3: the era as part of the Constitution is well, they say, mandated.
- 6:49Speaker 3: This is really really important. Democrats say, and they basically
- 6:53Speaker 3: say they can then claim to, you know, just change
- 6:56Speaker 3: the Constitution whenever they want to. One of the most
- 7:00Speaker 3: interesting parts of this and then wanting to do the
- 7:04Speaker 3: twenty eighth Amendment is that they're saying, if you elect us,
- 7:08Speaker 3: what we're gonna do is fundamentally change the United States
- 7:11Speaker 3: of America to a place that you do not recognize.
- 7:15Speaker 3: They're running on doing it now. They're not lying to
- 7:18Speaker 3: you and getting an office and then going another way.
- 7:21Speaker 3: They're actually saying over and over again, time and time
- 7:25Speaker 3: again that if you elect us, we will put into
- 7:31Speaker 3: play the most ridiculous equal rights amendments and we will
- 7:37Speaker 3: put them in there for trans and make sure that
- 7:41Speaker 3: abortion is in the constitution. Now, I'm glad they're saying
- 7:45Speaker 3: it out loud. I'm glad they're saying that the Equal
- 7:50Speaker 3: Rights Amendment is this and this is what they'll do
- 7:53Speaker 3: with it. They're not lying to you. The question now
- 7:57Speaker 3: is what will voters decide today. Will they go back
- 8:01Speaker 3: with Corey Bush and say, yes, this is what we
- 8:04Speaker 3: want to do. We want to dismantle the United States
- 8:06Speaker 3: of America, and we want to have someone in there
- 8:09Speaker 3: that is willing to do these types of radical things. Now,
- 8:13Speaker 3: the Democratic Party, they've really just been going full out
- 8:17Speaker 3: on these types of issues. They're proud of the fact
- 8:20Speaker 3: that this is now where they are. Centater Mark Kelly,
- 8:24Speaker 3: for example, on the Democrats and their low polls amid
- 8:27Speaker 3: the Iran War. Here's how he responded to how radical
- 8:31Speaker 3: his party has become. Another example of just how extreme
- 8:34Speaker 3: they really are.
- 8:35Speaker 6: In our polling, we see that this is a very
- 8:37Speaker 6: unpopular war and it's weighing on the president's own approval ratings.
- 8:41Speaker 6: But Democrats are faring slightly worse according to CBS polling.
- 8:45Speaker 6: When asked who has the better approach to Iran thirty
- 8:47Speaker 6: two percent say Trump, and the GOP only thirty percent
- 8:50Speaker 6: say the Democrats. So we are in this thing. Do
- 8:53Speaker 6: Democrats need to offer an affirmative vision for ending it?
- 8:57Speaker 7: Well, I don't think it's the president's vision. Here's a
- 9:01Speaker 7: guy who got us into this without a strategic goal,
- 9:04Speaker 7: without a plan, without a timeline. He's got a secretary
- 9:07Speaker 7: of Defense that doesn't know how to manage this war
- 9:11Speaker 7: who decided a good metric at the beginning was just
- 9:14Speaker 7: to drop as many munitions as he could on as
- 9:17Speaker 7: many targets. And now we've got a munitions shortage, big surprise.
- 9:21Speaker 7: So they're flailing, they're stuck. They're responsible for this, and
- 9:27Speaker 7: the president is the one that has to try to
- 9:29Speaker 7: figure out a way out of this. I would suggest
- 9:32Speaker 7: to him, though, that the solution is not to do
- 9:35Speaker 7: the same thing that he's been doing, not to have
- 9:38Speaker 7: his real estate body and his son in law in
- 9:40Speaker 7: charge of a negotiation, to put some people in here
- 9:44Speaker 7: that know how to do this, how to talk to
- 9:46Speaker 7: the Iranians and put a coalition together, bring our allies
- 9:51Speaker 7: back together. He's alienated not only our GCC allies, but
- 9:55Speaker 7: our European allies as well, and it's just making this
- 9:58Speaker 7: much harder for him to figure out a way out.
- 10:01Speaker 3: Now, that's a lot of rambling, even for a senator,
- 10:04Speaker 3: especially a senator trying to say, well, we know that
- 10:07Speaker 3: our proof ratings are worse than Republicans, but trust us,
- 10:09Speaker 3: the Republicans are actually worse than us. If that's what
- 10:13Speaker 3: you're running on, it's not very good. So what's happening
- 10:16Speaker 3: right now with the Democrats when it comes to what
- 10:19Speaker 3: they're actually doing, Well, that's when you go back to
- 10:22Speaker 3: why the Democrats are actually, at this point so unpopular
- 10:25Speaker 3: around the country. A perfect example is coming out of
- 10:29Speaker 3: New York City. Yes, what I'm about to tell you
- 10:31Speaker 3: is hypocrisy. One oh one. The man in New York City, Mandani,
- 10:36Speaker 3: the man who says we're an open, loving, welcoming city
- 10:39Speaker 3: to all illegal immigrants. The same guy who hates police
- 10:43Speaker 3: and wants to abolish the police, and wants to get
- 10:46Speaker 3: rid of court systems and wants to get rid of
- 10:49Speaker 3: people actually going to prison. Well, there is some law
- 10:54Speaker 3: and order and rules now for his communist, socialist Marxist
- 10:59Speaker 3: grocery store New York City. They've announced will ready for this,
- 11:05Speaker 3: require you to show ID to prove you live in
- 11:10Speaker 3: the city. In order to shop in the quote city
- 11:14Speaker 3: owned grocery stores, you need an ID to shop in
- 11:18Speaker 3: the city stores. But it would be racist to require
- 11:21Speaker 3: an ID to vote in their elections. This is not
- 11:25Speaker 3: a joke. Mayor Mandani in his own words, are.
- 11:29Speaker 8: You going to keep people from taking advantage of that?
- 11:33Speaker 8: You know that deal basically, and is there going to
- 11:36Speaker 8: be a limit on the number of items that someone
- 11:38Speaker 8: can take that are discounted at that level from that
- 11:40Speaker 8: essential basket.
- 11:41Speaker 5: So our RFP makes very clear that this is a
- 11:44Speaker 5: program for New Yorkers to be able to put food
- 11:47Speaker 5: on the table, not a program for people to be
- 11:49Speaker 5: able to make a quick buck through reselling. I'm going
- 11:51Speaker 5: to pass it over to our DC had G Pack
- 11:53Speaker 5: to add some additional details.
- 11:55Speaker 9: Yeah, so if you look at our RFP for the operator,
- 11:58Speaker 9: we are looking to make sure that we target New Yorkers,
- 12:01Speaker 9: whether it be a sort of a library card asks it.
- 12:04Speaker 9: And also we manage who's buying and that is focused
- 12:08Speaker 9: on everyday New Yorkers, So we are mindful of that.
- 12:11Speaker 9: And so we're going to make sure that we have
- 12:13Speaker 9: all the place, all the things in place to make
- 12:15Speaker 9: ensure that that does not happen.
- 12:17Speaker 3: So, just to be clear, the guy who is going
- 12:20Speaker 3: to give away reduce costs groceries in a socialist way
- 12:26Speaker 3: has been asked the question what about fraud? What about
- 12:29Speaker 3: people that claim they're from New York who actually aren't
- 12:33Speaker 3: from New York? What are you going to do about it?
- 12:36Speaker 3: And the same guy that says it's racist to ask
- 12:38Speaker 3: for an ID before you vote in his elections in
- 12:41Speaker 3: his city is now saying you're going to have to
- 12:44Speaker 3: show proof of ID before you can buy said socialist
- 12:49Speaker 3: communist groceries at a reduce price. And if you don't
- 12:52Speaker 3: live in the city, then you cannot shop in his
- 12:56Speaker 3: socialist communist Marxist grocery stores. So I use this as
- 13:01Speaker 3: an example to go back to the core point I
- 13:04Speaker 3: said earlier, what are the Democrats doing right now? Well,
- 13:08Speaker 3: there is still very much as civil war. The most
- 13:12Speaker 3: radicals of the Democratic Party have taken over. And if
- 13:15Speaker 3: you thought they were going to calm down before the midterms, yeah,
- 13:19Speaker 3: you'd be wrong. Thank goodness, they're telling the truth, at
- 13:22Speaker 3: least publicly. They're not lying and just acting like their
- 13:25Speaker 3: normal Democrats. No, they're straight up telling you who they are,
- 13:30Speaker 3: and there's a good chance the American people are listening.
