- 0:00Speaker 1: Mister New York marcelone. He's on seven ten. WI. Hey,
- 0:06Speaker 1: let's take some calls. Let's go to uh George in Brooklyn. George,
- 0:10Speaker 1: how you doing okay? And you let me check not bad?
- 0:14Speaker 1: Not bad?
- 0:17Speaker 2: And I listen, there was no way uh mcdoney could
- 0:20Speaker 2: have lost. See he was running by himself.
- 0:23Speaker 1: I mean.
- 0:24Speaker 2: There was I mean nobody wanted them the other two,
- 0:27Speaker 2: so he was running by himself. How could you This
- 0:30Speaker 2: is not legitimate? I don't know.
- 0:31Speaker 1: All right, very good point. I don't know what it is,
- 0:34Speaker 1: but as long as you do, thanks for calling. Let's
- 0:36Speaker 1: go to uh Lou in Wanta, Lou, how you doing okay?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Very good, Mark Lou. I wanted to bring up the
- 0:44Speaker 2: point that all the goods in the country are still
- 0:47Speaker 2: a little bit high. Everybody's complaining, well, not all of
- 0:49Speaker 2: the them.
- 0:50Speaker 1: Prices have come down on a lot of things.
- 0:52Speaker 2: Yeah, well there's a there's a way President Trump could
- 0:54Speaker 2: even bring him down. Quicker. Stop the federal exercise tax
- 0:59Speaker 2: on diesel. Feel Everything in the country ships by diesel fuel.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Trains run on diesel, field boats run on diesel field
- 1:06Speaker 2: trucks run on diesel fuel. You cut the federal excise tax,
- 1:09Speaker 2: everything will come down because they will pass that on
- 1:13Speaker 2: to the consumers.
- 1:13Speaker 1: Well, y'are absolutely right, that's a good point. But more
- 1:16Speaker 1: than that, the biggest tax are the local state taxes
- 1:20Speaker 1: on gasoline. You know, if you go around the country,
- 1:24Speaker 1: gas is really cheap. Now we're getting cheaper, it's like
- 1:27Speaker 1: two sixty nine, but if you're in New York it's
- 1:29Speaker 1: still three to ninety. Again, that's because of all the
- 1:31Speaker 1: local taxes. New York and California still have these high
- 1:35Speaker 1: gas prices because the tax you know, when you buy
- 1:38Speaker 1: a gallon of gas, if it's three fifty, the gas
- 1:41Speaker 1: station gets like four cents out of that three fifty.
- 1:44Speaker 1: The rest is all these taxes and Razil, Yeah, just
- 1:47Speaker 1: cut the state local taxes too. Let's go to h.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Anderson in Westchester. Anderson, how you doing?
- 1:54Speaker 3: Not bad for a fellow, my agent?
- 1:56Speaker 1: Well, how old are you?
- 1:58Speaker 3: Turned seventy nine yesterday?
- 2:00Speaker 1: That's not that old. That's the age of the president.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Yeah, no, it's not that all right, it's as old
- 2:06Speaker 3: as I've ever been. Let's put it down, all right.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Where are you in Westchester?
- 2:10Speaker 3: Up around Yorktown?
- 2:11Speaker 1: Yorktown is very nice, Yorktown Heights. I love that place. Yeah,
- 2:15Speaker 1: but you got Uncle Giuseppe's up there, one of the
- 2:17Speaker 1: great supermarkets in the tri State there.
- 2:19Speaker 3: Oh yeah, so indeed they do. But listen, I got
- 2:23Speaker 3: some really troubling news. I run a small charity. Yeah,
- 2:28Speaker 3: and we've been working on climate change. So nineteen ninety nine.
- 2:33Speaker 1: What are you working on trying to get more climate change?
- 2:35Speaker 1: What are you doing?
- 2:37Speaker 3: Well, we were trying to figure out the problem. We
- 2:39Speaker 3: were like everybody else is running around complaining about the weather. Well,
- 2:43Speaker 3: it's getting hotter, the ice is melting, the ocean's rising,
- 2:46Speaker 3: oh YadA, YadA, YadA. But then in twenty nineteen we
- 2:50Speaker 3: figured out, my goodness, we're looking at this and entirely
- 2:53Speaker 3: the wrong way. We should not be worried about the
- 2:55Speaker 3: weather or the melting ice.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Or the rising for first of all, the season only
- 3:00Speaker 1: the seas aren't rising, the ice isn't melting. Everything's fine.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Go back and watch the al Gore movie An Inconvenient Truth.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Watch it. Now everything he predicted never came true.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Yeah, well that's because al Gore, like everybody else, was
- 3:13Speaker 3: looking at the problem the wrong way.
- 3:15Speaker 1: No, it's because they were looking to make money off it.
- 3:17Speaker 1: It's a President Trump is right, the Green scheme. Ocean's
- 3:22Speaker 1: not rising. Every Democrat they buy houses right on the
- 3:25Speaker 1: ocean all the time. Okay, the ice is not melting.
- 3:28Speaker 1: You're in New York Town. You don't even have water
- 3:30Speaker 1: near you. Don't worry.
- 3:32Speaker 3: All right, I'll tell you what. I'll let you go
- 3:34Speaker 3: because if you believe that stuff is true, I don't
- 3:36Speaker 3: think I've got the right audience.
- 3:39Speaker 1: No, you definitely don't. The fact that the hey, you know,
- 3:42Speaker 1: there's a great ABC News piece from two thousand, yeah,
- 3:46Speaker 1: around two thousand where they said Manhattan will be underwater
- 3:49Speaker 1: by twenty fourteen. And again the al Gore movies are great.
- 3:52Speaker 1: Everything he predicted never came true. Everything John Kerrey never
- 3:55Speaker 1: never came true.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Okay, all right, well, very good, then take it.
- 4:00Speaker 1: You can't convince these people of anything. Do you remember
- 4:03Speaker 1: that ocean's rising. There's another great I think it's CBS
- 4:07Speaker 1: Dan Rather. You can find these videos if you go online.
- 4:10Speaker 1: It was a piece on how Florida's going to be
- 4:12Speaker 1: underwater by the year twenty twelve. And while they do
- 4:18Speaker 1: these things, tell you the sea is rising, beaches are
- 4:22Speaker 1: going to go away, they buy houses on the beach
- 4:24Speaker 1: all the time. John Kerrey has a house on the beach.
- 4:26Speaker 1: The Obamas have bought now two houses on two different beaches.
- 4:31Speaker 1: CNN moved their headquarters from Columbus Circle to the water.
- 4:35Speaker 1: They moved it over to the Hudson River. They're right
- 4:37Speaker 1: on the river, so they don't even believe this stuff. Hey,
- 4:41Speaker 1: when we come back and Culter will be with us
- 4:43Speaker 1: next on seven to ten wor
