- Powerball Adds Two Millionaires! This is The Lottery Rundown for Sunday August 30th Powerball drew Saturday night with 18, 56, 62, 65 and 67, plus Powerball 18 and a 2X multiplier. No ticket matched all six, but two lucky ticket holders—one in California and one in Georgia—each won 1 million dollars. Among the white balls, 62 returned after 30 drawings away. Thirty drawings is a substantial sabbatical for a numbered ball. Monday’s jackpot rises to 131 million dollars, with a cash value of 56 million 800 thousand dollars. The jackpot run is seven drawings and 17 days old, still much shorter than usual. Would you call that a streak, or is the jackpot merely clearing its throat? Moving to Mega Millions, the last draw was Friday, August 28, with 8, 17, 29, 42 and 55, plus Mega Ball 2. Nobody matched all six, while two thrilled ticket holders—one in Missouri and one in Tennessee—each collected 3 million dollars. Tuesday’s jackpot climbs to 160 million dollars, with a cash value of 68 million 900 thousand dollars. That could buy a private island with a brass band permanently on standby. The run has reached nine drawings and 31 days, still a pretty normal stretch.
