- 0:02Speaker 1: On scorn lids Ostrodio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: This is the Wader Panalty Show.
- 0:09Speaker 3: Good evening, and welcome to a special digital edition of
- 0:12Speaker 3: the Reader Panhy Show. We've got two of my favorites
- 0:15Speaker 3: in for the entire program. Welcome to the program tonight's
- 0:18Speaker 3: Sky News host Gabriella Power and Sky News contributor Kosher Gaeta.
- 0:23Speaker 3: We've got plenty to discuss, ladies, including leftist influencer Abby
- 0:27Speaker 3: Chatfield's latest bizarro video. Thankfully this one doesn't call for
- 0:32Speaker 3: anyone to be assassinated. We've got the latest news from
- 0:36Speaker 3: home and aboard, including kiss starmer battling to hold on
- 0:39Speaker 3: to his job, and what to expect from President Trump's
- 0:43Speaker 3: visit to Beijing.
- 0:44Speaker 4: And we have a special treat.
- 0:46Speaker 3: For you, plenty of laugh's courtesy of the Roast of
- 0:50Speaker 3: Kevin Hart.
- 0:51Speaker 4: It was brutal.
- 0:52Speaker 5: Have you even left the forum or have you just
- 0:56Speaker 5: been here screaming into that mike the last two years
- 0:59Speaker 5: waiting for daddy to come home? Well, unlike your real dad,
- 1:05Speaker 5: I actually showed up.
- 1:07Speaker 4: But let's start with the truly absurd.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Former reality star turned hard left influencer Abby Chadfield has
- 1:15Speaker 3: posted another lengthy bizarro clip where She both apologizes for
- 1:20Speaker 3: a post where she called for lonely young men to
- 1:23Speaker 3: assassinate the US president, but she also claims the post
- 1:27Speaker 3: was a joke that was misinterpreted.
- 1:30Speaker 6: In my opinion, misunderstood and exaggerated. A video that I
- 1:35Speaker 6: posted a year ago has come back to haunt me essentially,
- 1:40Speaker 6: and I honestly think that I should address it and
- 1:42Speaker 6: apologize for it, because while I do think that it
- 1:45Speaker 6: was taken out of context and that the intention behind
- 1:49Speaker 6: it has been stripped and warped, I still think that
- 1:52Speaker 6: I should talk about it and apologize for it, because honestly,
- 1:56Speaker 6: since posting that video a year ago, I have done
- 2:01Speaker 6: so much growing, I have done so much work to
- 2:06Speaker 6: really understand the impact of my.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Words taken out of context, her intention warped. Really, let's
- 2:18Speaker 3: have a look at the video in question and see
- 2:20Speaker 3: if she's right about being taken out of context.
- 2:24Speaker 4: Americans, when are you going to do it?
- 2:27Speaker 7: Why isn't it already done you? Every day there's another happening, right,
- 2:35Speaker 7: awful for your country?
- 2:36Speaker 8: Awful?
- 2:37Speaker 4: Right? Why don't we redirect this energy to something else?
- 2:45Speaker 7: You know, there's always in cells that go, oh something,
- 2:49Speaker 7: go and do you know what would actually make people
- 2:51Speaker 7: respect you a little bit, and maybe we want is
- 2:56Speaker 7: if you did it is if you did it, you
- 2:58Speaker 7: get heaps of fan mail.
- 3:00Speaker 4: Oh my god, Oh my god, just do it taken
- 3:09Speaker 4: out of context? Really?
- 3:11Speaker 3: Now it appears that thanks to that video and others
- 3:14Speaker 3: like it, Chatfield's boyfriend Adam or Kelly or whatever he's
- 3:18Speaker 3: calling himself, is well, he was refused entry in to
- 3:21Speaker 3: the US. He posted a statement to his Instagram account saying,
- 3:25Speaker 3: I have spent all day detained at the Canadian border
- 3:29Speaker 3: and denied entry back into the US despite having the
- 3:33Speaker 3: proper VISA documentation in place. I'm still trying to get
- 3:36Speaker 3: clarity on the situation myself.
- 3:39Speaker 4: Gab, I'm going to start with you.
- 3:41Speaker 3: What do you make of Abby Chatfield's latest video. It
- 3:46Speaker 3: comes about a week after another rather bizarro video where
- 3:52Speaker 3: she played the victim, claimed that the media was misrepresenting her,
- 3:57Speaker 3: blamed stories about her skipping lines and radio gigs, saying
- 4:02Speaker 3: that was why people didn't like her and she was
- 4:05Speaker 3: being maligned, and she ended up deleting that video.
- 4:08Speaker 9: Look, when looking at Abby Chatfield's latest video, there I think,
- 4:14Speaker 9: first of all, I do have to say, if someone
- 4:15Speaker 9: is going to apologize and are known up for their mistakes.
- 4:19Speaker 9: That is a good thing, that's a step in the
- 4:21Speaker 9: right direction. However, how can you say that that video
- 4:24Speaker 9: was taken out of context?
- 4:26Speaker 10: I'd also like to say.
- 4:27Speaker 9: Having covered a lot of Abby's commentary, watched a lot
- 4:31Speaker 9: of it over the past year, it's really hard to
- 4:35Speaker 9: buy this apology. I don't think anyone is really going
- 4:37Speaker 9: to buy it. She's been so insanely critical of Donald Trump,
- 4:41Speaker 9: to the point that, yes, as you just played her
- 4:44Speaker 9: video that she proudly posted to social media a year
- 4:48Speaker 9: ago calling on people to actually well potentially assassinate the president.
- 4:53Speaker 9: As we know, he's had plenty of those assassination attempts
- 4:56Speaker 9: against him.
- 4:58Speaker 10: I don't buy this one bit.
- 4:59Speaker 9: I feel like Abby has only realized that some of
- 5:02Speaker 9: her extreme crazy commentary may actually cost her future job opportunities.
- 5:09Speaker 10: So only now is she apologizing.
- 5:12Speaker 9: Has she realized the big mistake that she actually made,
- 5:15Speaker 9: even though apparently was taken out of context. Reader, So
- 5:19Speaker 9: I feel like she's only realized this, and so she's
- 5:21Speaker 9: using this as kind of a bit of a pr strategy.
- 5:24Speaker 9: So whenever this does get brought up again in the future,
- 5:26Speaker 9: she can say I've grown. You took this out of context,
- 5:30Speaker 9: and I've apologized for it, so I need to move on.
- 5:32Speaker 9: Look that's my take on it all. And as he
- 5:36Speaker 9: playing the victim, I saw that video too. She needs
- 5:38Speaker 9: to stop that.
- 5:39Speaker 11: No one is buying that that was I can see
- 5:44Speaker 11: why she deleted that video from about a week ago
- 5:46Speaker 11: where she was blaming the media, blaming everyone for again
- 5:51Speaker 11: misrepresenting her and having people mock her.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Made no mention of the videos like the one I
- 5:58Speaker 3: just played, where she is saying the most insane stuff,
- 6:02Speaker 3: and she may have a few consequences she's facing now kosher,
- 6:08Speaker 3: But I would argue it's point point zero zero zero
- 6:12Speaker 3: one percent of the stuff she says that she's had
- 6:15Speaker 3: some consequences for. There's been some defamation action recently, which
- 6:18Speaker 3: obviously would have her reflect on what she's posting and
- 6:23Speaker 3: the risks associated with that. But if it is a joke,
- 6:28Speaker 3: then say it's a joke. Don't apologize. If you're gonna apologize,
- 6:32Speaker 3: don't try to really give a worthless apology by saying, well,
- 6:38Speaker 3: it's actually other people's fault for warping and twisting what
- 6:42Speaker 3: I said.
- 6:43Speaker 12: It doesn't come across as authentic, I think to Gabrilo's point,
- 6:45Speaker 12: and everybody can see through that. And she seemed like
- 6:48Speaker 12: in a hurry, she like ran out of the shower,
- 6:49Speaker 12: I think, and posted that apology just get her hair.
- 6:52Speaker 12: It was a bad I don't know if there was
- 6:53Speaker 12: something matter there or not. I think it's only because
- 6:56Speaker 12: there were consequences that she probably didn't perceive or anticipate.
- 7:00Speaker 12: And maybe she's getting a little bit too big for
- 7:02Speaker 12: her riches because when she's doing sort of the cultural
- 7:05Speaker 12: stuff and keeping.
- 7:06Speaker 4: A general it's one thing.
- 7:07Speaker 12: But now you're going to go and talk about the
- 7:09Speaker 12: leader of another country that's not your country and like
- 7:11Speaker 12: take on assassination humor or whatever that genre is, you
- 7:15Speaker 12: will get blown back.
- 7:16Speaker 4: And it was very funny.
- 7:17Speaker 3: If it was assassination humor, then at least it should
- 7:22Speaker 3: have some humor, some.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Witt about it.
- 7:24Speaker 3: It seemed to be enticing lowly young men to go
- 7:28Speaker 3: assassinate the sitting US president in the hopes of getting
- 7:32Speaker 3: some female attention.
- 7:34Speaker 4: Gap.
- 7:34Speaker 9: Yeah, I completely agree with you there, Rita. And just
- 7:37Speaker 9: to jump in on this point, Abby is one of
- 7:40Speaker 9: many that I see online now. It's this new kind
- 7:42Speaker 9: of generation of this TikTok era where they are promoting
- 7:48Speaker 9: violence on their social media platforms.
- 7:50Speaker 10: I mean it is disgusting.
- 7:51Speaker 9: We saw it on the day that Charlie Kirk was assassinated,
- 7:54Speaker 9: people were celebrating on TikTok. We've seen plenty of activists
- 7:58Speaker 9: say the kind of say similar things that Abby Chatfield
- 8:02Speaker 9: seems to have suggested, and it's very worrying. I mean,
- 8:06Speaker 9: we've seen a pretty big rise in violence among the left,
- 8:10Speaker 9: so I feel like Abby is just one of many,
- 8:13Speaker 9: sadly that we're saying now on social media, jumping on
- 8:16Speaker 9: this trend and what a sick trend that is that
- 8:19Speaker 9: the violence is the answer.
- 8:22Speaker 4: It is a sick trend and Kosher.
- 8:25Speaker 3: This is someone who the Prime Minister of this country
- 8:28Speaker 3: sat down with for a lengthy interview. I think it
- 8:31Speaker 3: was around ninety minutes, So it's not like it's a
- 8:35Speaker 3: fringe figure.
- 8:35Speaker 4: I know. She was a reality TV star.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Who's turned into a podcaster and has some fairly radical opinions.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Amongst them, she has said she won't have anyone who's
- 8:44Speaker 3: a Zionist on her show, which means the majority of
- 8:46Speaker 3: Australian Jews are not welcome on her program. That's certainly
- 8:49Speaker 3: upset the Jewish community. But beyond that, this is someone
- 8:53Speaker 3: who has been on KISSFM for the last couple of
- 8:56Speaker 3: weeks on a breakfast radio program. So it's not like
- 9:01Speaker 3: it's a fringe figure, and that's probably why we're talking
- 9:04Speaker 3: about it.
- 9:04Speaker 12: Yeah, not at all. She's got millions and millions of followers.
- 9:07Speaker 12: I forget the number she's making like north of a
- 9:09Speaker 12: million dollars a year from endorsements. She's sitting down with
- 9:12Speaker 12: mainstream figures, she's waiting into the mainstream conversation. So she's
- 9:16Speaker 12: not fringe. I think that's a convenient excuse when they
- 9:18Speaker 12: fall off the rails to sort of dismiss people that
- 9:21Speaker 12: come from the reality TV world and the social media
- 9:23Speaker 12: influencer world as fringe. Those people have a lot of
- 9:26Speaker 12: influence and either they are reflecting the trends as Gabriela
- 9:29Speaker 12: was saying, that is true. There is sort of this
- 9:30Speaker 12: trend of celebrating or like nodding and winking towards violence,
- 9:34Speaker 12: or they even are fomenting it in some way unbeknownst
- 9:37Speaker 12: to them.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Well, let's have a look at her partner, the one
- 9:41Speaker 3: who was denied re entry into the US Adam Hyde
- 9:44Speaker 3: or Kelly Holiday, whatever you want to call him.
- 9:47Speaker 4: Let's look at.
- 9:48Speaker 3: The sort of content he also shares online. This is
- 9:52Speaker 3: what he had to say about those who took part
- 9:55Speaker 3: in the March for Australia, including women and children from
- 9:58Speaker 3: all backgrounds who were they're marching against mass immigration.
- 10:03Speaker 4: He thinks you're scumming. You deserve to die.
- 10:06Speaker 13: Well, what I'll say is if you're going to be
- 10:09Speaker 13: going out there trying to protest to keep this country,
- 10:14Speaker 13: first of all, just think about that sentiment. You moronic
- 10:18Speaker 13: little piece of you are the biggest loser that's walked
- 10:22Speaker 13: on this earth. You are an immigrant yourself first and foremost.
- 10:25Speaker 13: This is not our land, which is very I mean,
- 10:28Speaker 13: it doesn't take a genius to know that, but you're
- 10:31Speaker 13: so far from that that it's kind of a big
- 10:33Speaker 13: experience a reminder to think that you're protesting against immigrants.
- 10:40Speaker 13: That's that's not even what's going on here. This is
- 10:42Speaker 13: flat out racism. And anyone that denies that you're a racist,
- 10:47Speaker 13: you're a piece of you belong in for jail or worse,
- 10:49Speaker 13: which I won't say, But the main thing is you
- 10:52Speaker 13: are all biggest, your pieces of you belong on the
- 10:56Speaker 13: bottom of everybody's shoe. You're a stain on this country.
- 11:00Speaker 13: You shouldn't represent this country at all. Unfortunately, this country
- 11:03Speaker 13: is rooted and I've held within racism.
- 11:06Speaker 2: It's don't pro create, just die, just die.
- 11:12Speaker 4: What a charmer kosher?
- 11:14Speaker 3: And this couple is shocked when they have any venom
- 11:17Speaker 3: directed their way. I mean, how could you put out
- 11:19Speaker 3: that sort of content and then be absolutely surprised that
- 11:24Speaker 3: not everyone is receptive to him.
- 11:26Speaker 12: There's way too many words. First of all, he just
- 11:28Speaker 12: said he meet.
- 11:29Speaker 4: His point, but that he made it six more times.
- 11:32Speaker 12: And then there's six more times to have unlimited immigration.
- 11:34Speaker 12: And if not, you're a blank of blank, a blank
- 11:36Speaker 12: blank of blank. But hey, what do I know? They
- 11:37Speaker 12: do get a lot of views and clicks, so they
- 11:39Speaker 12: seem to have some currency, and they found some cohort
- 11:42Speaker 12: of an audience that subscribes to what it is that
- 11:44Speaker 12: they're selling. But if you can't take the heat, get
- 11:47Speaker 12: out of the kitchen.
- 11:48Speaker 4: Yep, yeap. That's a good advice right there. You can't
- 11:51Speaker 4: take the heat.
- 11:53Speaker 10: It is disgusting.
- 11:55Speaker 9: I hadn't watched that full quick thank you reader for
- 11:57Speaker 9: putting me through that in your show. It's actually it's
- 12:01Speaker 9: it's hard to digest. For as you say, Kosha just
- 12:04Speaker 9: fart in many words, they just keep going and going.
- 12:06Speaker 9: I don't know what's more painful actually hearing Abby Chatfield's
- 12:10Speaker 9: boyfriend say just die, or Abby Chatfield kind of nodding
- 12:13Speaker 9: along and pointing her finger agreeing with it. You know,
- 12:18Speaker 9: it's just it's appalling. It's sad for us in Australia
- 12:22Speaker 9: that Kelly whatever his name is wasn't allowed in the
- 12:25Speaker 9: into the US because maybe you could have stayed there
- 12:27Speaker 9: or on anywhere else.
- 12:29Speaker 10: But it's just shocking.
- 12:30Speaker 9: I mean, the way that these people treat so many
- 12:33Speaker 9: proud Australians that were exercising their right for free speech
- 12:38Speaker 9: to protest because they love this country, you know, and
- 12:43Speaker 9: that is the way that Kelly is that his name
- 12:46Speaker 9: Adam Kelly, I'm not sure, but you know what he
- 12:49Speaker 9: goes Astralians anyway, and same for Abby. So you know
- 12:53Speaker 9: Abby's apology today is that's just another example of the
- 12:56Speaker 9: clip that she takes part in.
- 12:57Speaker 10: I mean, whether it was you know.
- 13:00Speaker 9: Suggestions that she was going to call for the President
- 13:03Speaker 9: of the United States to be assassinated, or whether it's
- 13:05Speaker 9: to calling on some Australians who want to take part
- 13:09Speaker 9: in the protests, who love Australia, calling on them to
- 13:12Speaker 9: die and seeming to support it.
- 13:14Speaker 10: I mean, that's just another example. How many examples are there?
- 13:19Speaker 3: Well, this is it, and this is what I really
- 13:22Speaker 3: loathe about people like this, who are what.
- 13:25Speaker 4: I call cry bullies. I mean, it's all well and.
- 13:27Speaker 3: Good to put out your opinions, no matter how crazy
- 13:31Speaker 3: and radical. Fine, it's your right in a free country
- 13:35Speaker 3: to do that. But well it's not your right to
- 13:37Speaker 3: incite for someone to be murdered. That's a different issue.
- 13:40Speaker 4: But you can call people taking part in a.
- 13:43Speaker 3: March scum, tell them to die, tell them they're not
- 13:47Speaker 3: even human. But you can't then feign shock and play
- 13:53Speaker 3: the victim when you have some of that heat come
- 13:55Speaker 3: back at you. If you're going to be that radical
- 13:58Speaker 3: and vile, then you're going to cop some heat back.
- 14:02Speaker 3: And please don't play the victim. The cry bullies are
- 14:04Speaker 3: the worse. Now let's move on to tonight's budget. Don't worry,
- 14:09Speaker 3: we're not going to talk about the budget. We've been
- 14:10Speaker 3: talking about for two solid weeks now. This is a
- 14:13Speaker 3: respite from the budget. But you would think with a
- 14:16Speaker 3: controversial budget being handed down tonight, one that breaks a
- 14:20Speaker 3: number of election promises.
- 14:22Speaker 4: You'd think nine's business.
- 14:23Speaker 3: Writers would have plenty to report on locally alas.
- 14:27Speaker 4: This is what they were leading with last night. Have
- 14:30Speaker 4: a look at this.
- 14:30Speaker 3: This is what you got if you visited the Sydney
- 14:32Speaker 3: Morning Herald website. One article reads Trump heads to China,
- 14:37Speaker 3: weake and embarrassed. The other reads these are from the
- 14:41Speaker 3: business writers. The pain of Trump's war could.
- 14:43Speaker 4: Get even worse, Gab.
- 14:46Speaker 3: We'll get to the Chinese issue shortly, but first, Trump's war,
- 14:51Speaker 3: not Iran's war, not the country that has vowed to
- 14:54Speaker 3: wipe other countries off the map and wants to have
- 14:58Speaker 3: nuclear weapons to fulfill those a It's always Trump's.
- 15:01Speaker 10: War, always, always, always.
- 15:04Speaker 9: It's a leftist media here in Australia and over in America.
- 15:07Speaker 10: They are Trump deranged.
- 15:10Speaker 9: They have a little thing called Trump derangement syndrome, and
- 15:13Speaker 9: it's sick. I was listening to the President speaking at
- 15:15Speaker 9: the White House today. He was speaking about it, saying
- 15:17Speaker 9: it is a severe illness. And you see articles like
- 15:19Speaker 9: that on Budget Eve or Budget Night, and it makes
- 15:23Speaker 9: so much sense. They actually have Trump derangement syndrome. Everything
- 15:27Speaker 9: is kind of through the lens.
- 15:29Speaker 10: Of Trump being bad.
- 15:31Speaker 9: And you know, you kind of alluded to this point.
- 15:34Speaker 9: They're so obsessed with everything that Trump does wrong.
- 15:37Speaker 10: They spend so much time focusing and this is the
- 15:39Speaker 10: leftist media in general.
- 15:40Speaker 9: They spend so much time focusing on Donald Trump's language,
- 15:44Speaker 9: his truth social posts, and don't seem to care at
- 15:47Speaker 9: all about the language coming from Iran in this war
- 15:50Speaker 9: about what Donald Trump is actually trying to do for
- 15:53Speaker 9: the West here. So, you know, whether it's a leftist
- 15:55Speaker 9: media here in Australia or some of the CNN ms.
- 15:58Speaker 10: NOW outlets in the US, all of their.
- 16:02Speaker 9: Commentary or all of their news just is is kind
- 16:06Speaker 9: of centered around everything bad to do, you know, everything
- 16:11Speaker 9: bad that in association with with Donald Trump. But I
- 16:15Speaker 9: think the media here in Australia, I'm sure you'd agree
- 16:17Speaker 9: with me, is pretty slow to wake up. They are
- 16:20Speaker 9: just so obsessed with putting this leftist agenda. They're quite
- 16:24Speaker 9: divorced from reality. I think it's quite interesting seeing the
- 16:27Speaker 9: results in Farah over the weekend with one Nation securing
- 16:32Speaker 9: the lower House seat. There's a lot of support for
- 16:35Speaker 9: one nation at the moment, and even though we heard,
- 16:37Speaker 9: you know, the ABC calling it dangerous and calling her
- 16:42Speaker 9: Pauline Hanson racist and calling the party racist these and
- 16:49Speaker 9: also trying to connect her to Donald Trump. I think
- 16:53Speaker 9: the media is in for a shock as to where
- 16:55Speaker 9: politics in Australia is heading because there's a lot of
- 16:58Speaker 9: support behind one nation, behind Pauline Hanson, and all these
- 17:04Speaker 9: kind of anti Trump smears are not working. People see
- 17:08Speaker 9: right through it. And I don't know who is reading
- 17:10Speaker 9: these articles now. Trump hasn't even arrived in China yet
- 17:14Speaker 9: and there are just these negative headlines about him. I mean,
- 17:18Speaker 9: this is where Trump was right and really cut through
- 17:20Speaker 9: to plenty of Americans saying, this is the fake news media.
- 17:25Speaker 3: You're right, and you're right about the Australian media. Their
- 17:29Speaker 3: coverage of US politics is kosher, uniquely awful. They regurgitate
- 17:34Speaker 3: all the rubbish you see on CNN and MSNBC, Guardian
- 17:40Speaker 3: and they add to it. And you even have so
- 17:42Speaker 3: called center right columnists joining in this idiocy. They just
- 17:48Speaker 3: never look at the outcomes. It's never about outcomes. It's
- 17:51Speaker 3: always about rehetric and creating this climate of crisis. We'll
- 17:57Speaker 3: talk about China in a second, but how do you say,
- 18:02Speaker 3: as an American, the coverage of US politics in this country,
- 18:07Speaker 3: it's very superficial.
- 18:08Speaker 12: I haven't been very impressed in general, with some exceptions,
- 18:11Speaker 12: Present Company excluded in terms of the depth in which
- 18:14Speaker 12: they go. And I think you're right, it's a regurgitation.
- 18:15Speaker 12: It's really like a copy paste of the sister of
- 18:18Speaker 12: publications or the other articles over there. There's never any
- 18:22Speaker 12: depth to it. It feels sort of like intellectually lazy almost.
- 18:25Speaker 12: I would say, just you've got a frame, and every
- 18:27Speaker 12: story fits into one frame or the other. And it's
- 18:29Speaker 12: also I feel like you're always a little bit behind
- 18:31Speaker 12: the curve. That even as the US mainstream media, which
- 18:34Speaker 12: leans left and is no fan of Trump, has shifted
- 18:37Speaker 12: on certain issues, it's always, I think five years sort
- 18:39Speaker 12: of behind the curve and they catch up with it.
- 18:42Speaker 12: Here there are a couple places where they may accidentally
- 18:46Speaker 12: get a little win. So the war we've talked about
- 18:48Speaker 12: this has been controversial with Trump's base back home, so accidentally,
- 18:52Speaker 12: maybe that piece of this article was revealing something. But
- 18:55Speaker 12: other than that, it just feels very superficial and like
- 18:58Speaker 12: they don't want to do the work.
- 19:00Speaker 3: And what about what Gabby said about the rise of
- 19:03Speaker 3: One Nation in Australia. I wrote about this in Today's
- 19:06Speaker 3: Herald's Sun. This phenomenon of right wing parties having this surge,
- 19:11Speaker 3: whether it's South America, whether it's Trump in America, Reform
- 19:17Speaker 3: in the UK, we've seen it here now. And they
- 19:20Speaker 3: did try to connect one nation with Donald Trump that
- 19:23Speaker 3: had posters of Trump with in trying to scare off
- 19:30Speaker 3: voters off one nation in that by election, and it
- 19:33Speaker 3: didn't work.
- 19:33Speaker 10: It didn't work.
- 19:34Speaker 12: It's like we've seen this movie before and they've had
- 19:36Speaker 12: time to prepare because you see the same thing. There's
- 19:39Speaker 12: connective tissue all around the world, and certainly in Western democracies.
- 19:43Speaker 12: They've tried to tire Farage with Trump and other people
- 19:45Speaker 12: with Trump, and it doesn't work because it comes down
- 19:47Speaker 12: to the fundamentals. It's not actually about the personalities. There's
- 19:50Speaker 12: a layer to that, but it's really about the fundamental
- 19:52Speaker 12: It's about immigration, about mismanaging the economy, about all the
- 19:56Speaker 12: things that both parties in all of these countries have
- 19:59Speaker 12: been reluctant. There's maybe a five ten percent difference between
- 20:02Speaker 12: the mainstream parties on all these issues, and then there's
- 20:05Speaker 12: these other parties that are ascendant that are offering something
- 20:08Speaker 12: quite dramatically different and offering a high contrast position from
- 20:11Speaker 12: orders to opt into. And I think for those of
- 20:13Speaker 12: us who've been following the global trends, it's not a surprise,
- 20:16Speaker 12: and I think the momentum will continue well.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Talking about global trends, what about this notion that Trump
- 20:20Speaker 3: is going to go to China with his tail between
- 20:24Speaker 3: his legs, is going in weak and embarrassed. I would
- 20:27Speaker 3: have thought what's happened with Iran and Venezuela has weakened
- 20:32Speaker 3: China considerably. Their energy supplies have been compromised deeply by
- 20:36Speaker 3: those two countries being attacked, and the tariffs also are
- 20:43Speaker 3: having an impact. So this characterization of China has the
- 20:47Speaker 3: upper hand in these meetings. I think that's a curious
- 20:51Speaker 3: bit of analysis as well.
- 20:52Speaker 12: Kosher, Yeah, I think there isn't anything that makes Trump
- 20:55Speaker 12: feel weak and embarrassing. That's all order for him to
- 20:58Speaker 12: feel that way or toever project that. Certainly, and oil
- 21:02Speaker 12: has been a big part of his strategy for better
- 21:04Speaker 12: for worse. That is one key key vital interest that
- 21:07Speaker 12: China lacks. They've got land, they've got the population, they've
- 21:10Speaker 12: got innovation, they've got a political system that allows them
- 21:13Speaker 12: to play the long game more than other countries. They're
- 21:15Speaker 12: pretty economically ruthless in terms of the deals are cutting
- 21:19Speaker 12: around the world. All of that is true, but energy
- 21:21Speaker 12: is something that they are reliant on other countries. For
- 21:24Speaker 12: Trump has understood that. Then as weel around, all of
- 21:26Speaker 12: that fits into that strategy, whether or not it's being
- 21:29Speaker 12: flawlessly executed. So yeah, he is going I think with
- 21:32Speaker 12: a very different backdrop compared to before. At the same time,
- 21:36Speaker 12: he has always believed in nationalism and he always used
- 21:39Speaker 12: to say, you know, she is for China. I respect
- 21:41Speaker 12: him China first from his perspective, America first from my perspective.
- 21:45Speaker 12: We have to figure out how to relate to all
- 21:46Speaker 12: sorts of countries and do deals that are mutually beneficial
- 21:49Speaker 12: if possible. So I think he's going to signal that
- 21:51Speaker 12: posture as well. And these visits are always historic because
- 21:54Speaker 12: these are the two major powers in the world.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Now, speaking of Trump, let's have a look at him
- 22:00Speaker 3: just a few hours ago welcoming the victorious Indiana Hoosiers
- 22:04Speaker 3: to the Oval offers and a player or two demanded
- 22:07Speaker 3: the president serve four more years gab four more years
- 22:23Speaker 3: I don't think that's going to be happening, but it's
- 22:26Speaker 3: interesting to see now, more so than in the first term,
- 22:31Speaker 3: these sports teams, sporting stars are not reluctant to come
- 22:37Speaker 3: to the White House, not reluctant to be pictured with
- 22:40Speaker 3: the president. It doesn't have that stigma that the media
- 22:45Speaker 3: tried to put on any sort of association with Donald
- 22:48Speaker 3: Trump during his first term.
- 22:50Speaker 9: No, absolutely, you know, that's a real insight into just
- 22:53Speaker 9: how much people.
- 22:54Speaker 10: Love him and they respect him.
- 22:56Speaker 9: I mean, look what Donald Trump has actually achieved in
- 22:59Speaker 9: his second it is extraordinary. He's delivered on so many
- 23:03Speaker 9: promises that he made, even recently releasing the UFO files,
- 23:07Speaker 9: but essentially of course, closing the border, I mean, the
- 23:10Speaker 9: drug deaths and fentanyl is down in America, crime is down,
- 23:14Speaker 9: getting rid of anti Semitism, this work agenda, I mean,
- 23:18Speaker 9: so many things that he promised during the election campaign
- 23:22Speaker 9: he has delivered on. I mean, look at the speed
- 23:25Speaker 9: of the way he's been able to act. Is kind
- 23:27Speaker 9: of superhuman that way.
- 23:29Speaker 10: But it's an insight. Really.
- 23:30Speaker 9: We saw even when he was elected, we saw football
- 23:33Speaker 9: players out on the football field doing the Donald Trump dance.
- 23:36Speaker 9: We saw that at college campuses as well. You see
- 23:40Speaker 9: the way Donald Trump is embraced when he goes out
- 23:43Speaker 9: to stadiums, when he goes out to UFC matches.
- 23:47Speaker 10: It's absolutely everywhere.
- 23:48Speaker 9: And even though the media will keep running these headlines that,
- 23:51Speaker 9: you know, Donald Trump's week or whatever, you know, whatever
- 23:54Speaker 9: they want to run with, he's not at all and
- 23:56Speaker 9: Americans absolutely love him. I've spent a favorit of time
- 23:59Speaker 9: over in the States. Even in places like New York City,
- 24:02Speaker 9: I'll see people lining up outside Trump Tower trying to
- 24:06Speaker 9: get purchased one of those hats, maybe even a four
- 24:09Speaker 9: more years had if that exists, we'll have to get
- 24:12Speaker 9: one a year reader. But yeah, no, people remember, even
- 24:17Speaker 9: my time in America, even in places like New York City,
- 24:20Speaker 9: people would say pray for Donald Trump. You know, there's
- 24:23Speaker 9: a lot of love for him out day, even though
- 24:25Speaker 9: the media is just Trump deranged.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Well, that's why they're always so shocked when there is
- 24:31Speaker 3: an election, because the results or not what they expect
- 24:35Speaker 3: them to be. Now, I've been dying to talk to
- 24:38Speaker 3: you two about this os Pearlman guy. I mean, I'm
- 24:42Speaker 3: borderline convinced to some sort of a witch warlock. There's
- 24:45Speaker 3: something happening there now, Gab. You'd remember he was next
- 24:50Speaker 3: to the President and the First Lady and Caroline Leavitt
- 24:54Speaker 3: when the latest assassination attempt occurred during the White House
- 24:58Speaker 3: correspondence dinner.
- 25:00Speaker 4: What he was doing there was guessing correctly.
- 25:04Speaker 3: It turned out the name of Caroline Leavitt's soon to
- 25:07Speaker 3: be born baby. She was heavily pregnant at the time,
- 25:09Speaker 3: and he was right. As you can see there. This
- 25:14Speaker 3: man is a marvel, Gab. I don't understand how he
- 25:18Speaker 3: does what he does. He guessed Joe Rogan's ATM pin number,
- 25:22Speaker 3: which completely blew him away. He's done that several times.
- 25:26Speaker 3: I've seen him do that shtick with other people who
- 25:28Speaker 3: say even their wife or husband doesn't know their pin
- 25:31Speaker 3: number and he somehow guesses it within seconds. But isn't
- 25:35Speaker 3: that fascinating, Gab, that he had the right name on
- 25:38Speaker 3: that piece of paper as the fight out, And.
- 25:42Speaker 10: Yeah, it blows me away.
- 25:44Speaker 9: I mean seeing the pictures, he kind of it dates it,
- 25:48Speaker 9: so we know that he's telling the truth. He figured
- 25:50Speaker 9: it out in real time. And it's quite a unique name,
- 25:52Speaker 9: like it's not a common name. It's a beautiful name,
- 25:56Speaker 9: and he got it it's extraordinary. I have no idea
- 25:59Speaker 9: how on earth he does this, but I'm super.
- 26:01Speaker 10: Fascinated by it.
- 26:02Speaker 9: You know, I've heard on different podcasts that we apparently
- 26:04Speaker 9: will have many senses, So who knows. Maybe he's tapped
- 26:08Speaker 9: into some extra senses that we haven't yet. But it's incredible.
- 26:12Speaker 9: I mean, I just do not know how you can
- 26:14Speaker 9: figure something like that out. But he's done it, and
- 26:18Speaker 9: we've got the proof.
- 26:21Speaker 4: He does this for his stuff constantly, Kosher. I don't know.
- 26:23Speaker 3: Maybe you've got a rational explanation. I'm leaning towards which
- 26:28Speaker 3: warlock or something like.
- 26:29Speaker 4: That, because I just can't figure it out.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Normally, with these mentalists or magicians, you can kind of
- 26:36Speaker 3: figure out the stick if you pay close enough attention.
- 26:40Speaker 4: With him, I can't figure it out.
- 26:42Speaker 10: I've got nothing.
- 26:43Speaker 12: I don't know if it's another sense or like some
- 26:46Speaker 12: soft lip reading maybe that he was able to do
- 26:48Speaker 12: and he was observing them and maybe she revealed the name.
- 26:50Speaker 4: I have no IgE.
- 26:51Speaker 3: No, No, it's not a lip reading thing, because I've
- 26:53Speaker 3: seen him. Like the Joe Rogan experience, I guess is
- 26:57Speaker 3: one of the better well known ones of his is
- 27:00Speaker 3: where Joe is a cynic he was not buying into this.
- 27:04Speaker 3: It didn't even seem to like the blow. He didn't
- 27:06Speaker 3: really want to sort of be entertaining him. And when
- 27:09Speaker 3: he very simply kind of read Joe's mind by just
- 27:13Speaker 3: saying numbers and seeing Joe's reaction and he picked his.
- 27:17Speaker 12: Like just picking up some subliminal sort.
- 27:19Speaker 4: Of yeah micro expression expression.
- 27:23Speaker 12: These people were joking. It would have been nice if
- 27:25Speaker 12: he had predicted the shooter that would be shooter rather than.
- 27:29Speaker 4: He's a mentalist, is not a psychic?
- 27:31Speaker 9: I would say, can he analyze some of Abby Chatfield's
- 27:35Speaker 9: jokes and see if that really was a joke and
- 27:37Speaker 9: can you try and make sense? Yeah, some of the
- 27:40Speaker 9: you know, the human that we seem to avoid, we
- 27:42Speaker 9: need to.
- 27:42Speaker 4: Bring him here.
- 27:43Speaker 3: We need to bring him here, and it needs to
- 27:46Speaker 3: help these left wing influences because they seem to be confused.
- 27:50Speaker 3: They're either joking or they're serious, but they're apologizing but
- 27:54Speaker 3: they're taken out of context.
- 27:55Speaker 4: They're victims. I can't keep up now.
- 27:58Speaker 3: Jimmy Carr is on who are here in Australia, one
- 28:01Speaker 3: of the world's leading comics. I saw him last week
- 28:04Speaker 3: in Melbourne. Would not recommend you for easily invented. Most
- 28:07Speaker 3: of the Shark could not even play on this program.
- 28:11Speaker 4: Very funny but.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Not PC at all. But this next part is safe.
- 28:15Speaker 3: We can play it here. Jimmy carr Is asked about
- 28:18Speaker 3: the contentious issue of Immigration's.
- 28:25Speaker 8: Immigration okay to all about I think Australia has done
- 28:29Speaker 8: it very well. I think I think if reasonable people
- 28:32Speaker 8: won't please your borders, unreasonable people will you get to choose.
- 28:39Speaker 8: I think people should be allowed to come to my
- 28:41Speaker 8: country and enjoy it, but only if they love it.
- 28:46Speaker 8: You can come to my country, but you can't bring
- 28:48Speaker 8: your country with you. Everyone is in favor of multiculturalism,
- 28:53Speaker 8: but no one is in favor of balkanization.
- 28:56Speaker 3: I love that concept, kosher. If you want to migrate somewhere,
- 29:01Speaker 3: you better effing love it.
- 29:04Speaker 12: Somebody should send that to Ava chat Field significant other
- 29:07Speaker 12: who was doing the anti immigration or an anti round
- 29:09Speaker 12: on this issue. Yes, I mean basically what he's saying,
- 29:12Speaker 12: with great humor and delivery, is assimilation. That when you assimilate,
- 29:15Speaker 12: you can bring a little bit of what makes you you,
- 29:18Speaker 12: but you kind of have to leave it behind and
- 29:20Speaker 12: absorb into this new thing, and you.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Have to appreciate where you're going to appreciate it because
- 29:25Speaker 3: you choosing to move from your home country to that country.
- 29:29Speaker 3: So don't go there with ill intention or hatred or
- 29:33Speaker 3: if you have contempt for the values of that population.
- 29:37Speaker 4: And we see that a lot and with a lot
- 29:38Speaker 4: to accept it.
- 29:39Speaker 12: I know, and the unfortunately and people are not accepting it.
- 29:42Speaker 12: Hence one nation, all these other things that we talked about.
- 29:44Speaker 12: But the issue is it doesn't work anymore. And one
- 29:47Speaker 12: is the quantum. When there's too many people coming from
- 29:49Speaker 12: a certain place, you can sort of create these nations
- 29:51Speaker 12: within nations and not fully assimilate and then be a
- 29:55Speaker 12: lot of people really come for the cash grad just
- 29:57Speaker 12: like the economic prosperity of and that's.
- 29:59Speaker 4: Something that's talked about enough.
- 30:01Speaker 3: There's this I don't know if it's people just being
- 30:05Speaker 3: ignorant or refusing to accept the reality that there are
- 30:10Speaker 3: those who are just have no regard for our values.
- 30:14Speaker 3: But there is a welfare system here that is very
- 30:18Speaker 3: generous and very attractive.
- 30:20Speaker 4: That's literally if you're coming.
- 30:22Speaker 12: From a country not they're not coming from freedom of
- 30:24Speaker 12: speech or like equal rights or any of that stuff.
- 30:26Speaker 12: They're coming for the money and the welfare. And that's
- 30:28Speaker 12: in a way rational. If you enable it, you can
- 30:30Speaker 12: actually understand why they're doing that. So it's a job
- 30:32Speaker 12: of the leaders of the country to.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Take the sugar off the table, as they say. And
- 30:37Speaker 3: Jimmy Carr rounded out that immigration answer by talking about
- 30:42Speaker 3: Western civilization.
- 30:44Speaker 8: And I'm a huge fan of the Aboriginal culture. I
- 30:47Speaker 8: respect it, but I also love my culture, and you've
- 30:51Speaker 8: got to love them both. You can't just go I
- 30:53Speaker 8: love other cultures and I don't love my own. Our culture,
- 30:56Speaker 8: the Western civilization is incredible. You can't just look at
- 31:01Speaker 8: the negative stuff. We also we defeated the Nazis and
- 31:05Speaker 8: ended slavery. Might drop.
- 31:09Speaker 4: We're good, gab.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Nothing is said there was even mildly controversial unless you're
- 31:18Speaker 3: far left. But the self lower is in this country,
- 31:22Speaker 3: and sadly we do have a lot of them.
- 31:23Speaker 4: Are going to be appalled by that, the notion that you.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Should be proud of our culture, be proud of Western civilization.
- 31:30Speaker 3: Understand that it's one of the reasons why we have
- 31:34Speaker 3: the lifestyles we have, we have the living standard, we
- 31:36Speaker 3: have the freedoms that we enjoy.
- 31:39Speaker 9: Oh, it's highly offensive, reader, highly offensive.
- 31:42Speaker 10: No, I completely agree with you.
- 31:44Speaker 9: I mean, the left, of course are going to take
- 31:46Speaker 9: huge issues with what he just said there. But of
- 31:48Speaker 9: course I listened to that night to think about Australia
- 31:50Speaker 9: day and it's interesting though we've seen over the last
- 31:53Speaker 9: few years is kind of return to Australian pride and
- 31:56Speaker 9: we're seeing more and more people kind of reject this
- 31:58Speaker 9: woke non sense that we shouldn't be proud of our country,
- 32:03Speaker 9: you know, so I just think of that and Ko
- 32:07Speaker 9: shows you kind of alluded to this rise in one
- 32:09Speaker 9: nation as well. I think really more and more people
- 32:13Speaker 9: here in Australia have realized, actually, we are proud of
- 32:15Speaker 9: this country. We're allowed to be loud and proud about
- 32:18Speaker 9: it as long as it's going in the right direction.
- 32:21Speaker 9: But of course, yes, he makes plenty of perfect sense there,
- 32:25Speaker 9: and I'm sure some leftis be very triggered, so get
- 32:28Speaker 9: the tissues out for them.
- 32:30Speaker 3: I'm sure if there were lefties in his shows and
- 32:35Speaker 3: he had some big stadium shows, they would be a pull.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Because this man goes everywhere. There's no topic of limits
- 32:43Speaker 3: when he comes to his humor. So he's kind of
- 32:45Speaker 3: like Ricky Gervase a little bit there. Now some UK
- 32:49Speaker 3: news we talked about the rise of reform that had
- 32:54Speaker 3: incredible results at the council elections. Are now more than
- 32:58Speaker 3: seventy MPs are calling for the resignation of Prime Minister
- 33:03Speaker 3: Kiss Dama, the UK Home Department Secretary of State, is
- 33:07Speaker 3: calling on the Prime Minister establish a timeline for his resignation.
- 33:12Speaker 4: Kosher.
- 33:13Speaker 3: He is a dead man walking. It's hard to look
- 33:16Speaker 3: at it in any other way.
- 33:17Speaker 12: He's definitely skating on the n ice for sure. And
- 33:20Speaker 12: these elections one after the other, they've been happening now
- 33:23Speaker 12: in short order where it's just a blood bath for labor.
- 33:26Speaker 12: Of course, they smell blood in the water. There's Caroline West,
- 33:31Speaker 12: the MP is kind of trying to be an Australia
- 33:33Speaker 12: of course, yes Australia, and she made some news because
- 33:35Speaker 12: she's she doesn't have enough support in the party, but
- 33:37Speaker 12: she can be a stocking horse to get the party
- 33:39Speaker 12: going on ousting him. So all that is happening as
- 33:42Speaker 12: we speak. He of course has responded, he knows it,
- 33:45Speaker 12: and he's responding by beering more to the left and
- 33:48Speaker 12: you know, pandering more to that side as opposed to
- 33:51Speaker 12: doing the machinesians that have to happen, and the backroom
- 33:54Speaker 12: deals behind it, but it does look like his days
- 33:55Speaker 12: are numbered.
- 33:56Speaker 3: We shall see, and the under pressure Prime Minister has
- 34:00Speaker 3: announced that he will block activists from traveling to the
- 34:03Speaker 3: UK to attend Tommy Robinson's Unite the Kingdom March, which
- 34:08Speaker 3: is taking place in London this week and have a
- 34:10Speaker 3: listen and.
- 34:11Speaker 14: You'll see it again on Saturday at a march designed
- 34:15Speaker 14: to confront and intimidate this diversity and this diverse country.
- 34:22Speaker 14: That is why this labor government will block far right
- 34:24Speaker 14: agitators from traveling to Britain for that event, because we
- 34:27Speaker 14: will not allow control to company your close tough RP
- 34:31Speaker 14: and for our streak gab.
- 34:35Speaker 4: They'll have the masses back in him.
- 34:38Speaker 3: I've been really forcing diversity down their throats under the
- 34:43Speaker 3: threat of arrest and blocking people who just want to
- 34:46Speaker 3: come into the country to debate these ideas or to
- 34:50Speaker 3: attend to march.
- 34:51Speaker 4: I mean, how is that.
- 34:54Speaker 3: How is that in any way celebrating free speech? Because
- 34:57Speaker 3: I remember him arguing with the Ronald Trump, who was
- 35:00Speaker 3: talking about this very issue and saying, oh no, no, no.
- 35:03Speaker 3: In the UK were very we're very invested in free speech,
- 35:08Speaker 3: and we invented it and we protected I don't think so.
- 35:13Speaker 3: They might not have been rand Mars for posting mean tweets.
- 35:18Speaker 9: And that's exactly right, reader, I mean, Kirs Starmer is
- 35:22Speaker 9: just afraid of free speech really, as you say, look
- 35:24Speaker 9: at what goes on under Starmer's government in the UK.
- 35:28Speaker 10: People get arrested.
- 35:29Speaker 9: We've seen comedians get arrested at airports because of tweets
- 35:32Speaker 9: that they've made. We've been mothers women be arrested, thrown
- 35:36Speaker 9: into jail because of comments that they've made online. I mean,
- 35:40Speaker 9: the UK does not really accept free speech anymore. And
- 35:42Speaker 9: now what Starma's announcing, they're basically saying that he's going
- 35:47Speaker 9: to be intervening over this political demonstrations and public speech.
- 35:50Speaker 9: Look from what I understand that this is supposed to
- 35:52Speaker 9: be a peaceful, patriotic event. Of course the media describes
- 35:55Speaker 9: it as some far right event. I'm not sure about
- 35:58Speaker 9: that at all. But he's just been a hopeless leader.
- 36:01Speaker 9: I'm not surprised at all to hear those kind of
- 36:04Speaker 9: words from his mouth. But his day's a numbered you know,
- 36:07Speaker 9: whether it's days or it was just weeks, but it
- 36:11Speaker 9: looks like it could be a matter of days now
- 36:13Speaker 9: until his time as leader is up.
- 36:17Speaker 3: And whoever takes over is really cappening the Titanic. He's
- 36:21Speaker 3: not the only shoe labor have there. They're going to
- 36:25Speaker 3: have a very rough general election coming up.
- 36:28Speaker 4: Now.
- 36:28Speaker 3: We've been talking on this program for weeks now about
- 36:32Speaker 3: what's happening in Melbourne. We're in the midst of a
- 36:35Speaker 3: devastating crime crisis and that now includes hospitality terrorism.
- 36:40Speaker 4: That's an actual term in this city.
- 36:43Speaker 3: It's so bad that even the ABC is doing special
- 36:46Speaker 3: reports into the attacks against the hospitality sector.
- 36:54Speaker 4: Meldyn's nightlife is under siege. There's growing fear in the
- 36:59Speaker 4: community after allegedly fire bombing involvement.
- 37:02Speaker 15: Since April fourteenth, almost every night there has been a shooting,
- 37:08Speaker 15: arson attack, and even a kidnapping of a promoter, all
- 37:12Speaker 15: linked to Melbourne's biggest bars and restaurants.
- 37:15Speaker 4: Some venues have been hit twice.
- 37:17Speaker 16: It's Saturday night and one of the most popular nightclubs
- 37:20Speaker 16: in Melbourne, the Emerson in Southiarra, has decided to place
- 37:24Speaker 16: a massive truck trailer on the road in front of
- 37:26Speaker 16: its entrance, afterwards recently targeted in a drive by shooting.
- 37:31Speaker 3: But we've got Victorian Senator Lydia Thorpe, who wants less
- 37:35Speaker 3: money spent on police and prisons.
- 37:39Speaker 2: We've just seen the Victorian government and the Northern Territory
- 37:43Speaker 2: government pour millions of dollars into their police forces.
- 37:49Speaker 4: And their prisons. It's not the answer.
- 37:52Speaker 2: We need these governments to fund solutions that stop this
- 37:59Speaker 2: massive cast. Building more prisons does not solve the problem.
- 38:04Speaker 4: So why are we not doing proper.
- 38:07Speaker 2: Genuine justice reinvestment, which means taking money from the prison
- 38:12Speaker 2: system and the police and giving it to communities.
- 38:19Speaker 3: I don't know why she's got notes in her hand.
- 38:21Speaker 3: There's no explanation for that Kosher. There's no explanation for
- 38:24Speaker 3: anything she says there. I mean, it is utterly absurd
- 38:28Speaker 3: to be upset about police being funded when we're in
- 38:33Speaker 3: a crime crisis, record rates of crime in this city,
- 38:38Speaker 3: and she's wondering why you know money might be going
- 38:41Speaker 3: to law enforcement.
- 38:42Speaker 12: She sounded like mum Dani South of the Equator, basically
- 38:46Speaker 12: the New York City mayor.
- 38:47Speaker 4: And that's what I reckon.
- 38:48Speaker 3: Even he's not that crazy, because like when he finally
- 38:51Speaker 3: decided to run, he.
- 38:53Speaker 4: Did try to do a one aid message alone it
- 38:55Speaker 4: a little bit.
- 38:55Speaker 12: But early on he was saying it is similar and
- 38:58Speaker 12: in California and all these cities take money out of
- 39:00Speaker 12: the prisons and give it to social workers. I try
- 39:03Speaker 12: to solve problems upstream, like why are these people so
- 39:05Speaker 12: desperate that they're committing crime. Let's solve that instead of policing.
- 39:08Speaker 12: And of course the whole world is looking at the
- 39:10Speaker 12: real solution. He's called in their Bookla of El Salvador
- 39:14Speaker 12: That's how you solve crime fast. He took it from
- 39:17Speaker 12: the homicide capital of the world to now one of
- 39:19Speaker 12: the lowest homicide rates in the world four years. He's
- 39:23Speaker 12: publicized those prisons.
- 39:24Speaker 4: That's what we need.
- 39:25Speaker 12: But I don't think as long as we have leaders
- 39:27Speaker 12: like this, you're not going to get that.
- 39:29Speaker 3: And if you want a less extreme example, gab Singapore,
- 39:35Speaker 3: not far from Australia. The crime rate is a fraction
- 39:40Speaker 3: of what we've got here because they.
- 39:42Speaker 4: Are tough on crime. There's a zero tolerance approach.
- 39:46Speaker 3: They are unashamed about it, and the population loves it
- 39:49Speaker 3: because they actually are safe. They've got shops that they've opened.
- 39:53Speaker 3: I wrote about and I think it was a Starbucks
- 39:55Speaker 3: new cafe that had opened. It didn't even have a
- 39:58Speaker 3: front door, it just had like a that they put
- 40:01Speaker 3: across when they were closed because they had no fear
- 40:04Speaker 3: of anyone going in there and stealing.
- 40:06Speaker 9: Meanwhile, look at what is happening in Melbourne and it
- 40:09Speaker 9: just breaks my heart. I mean, as you know, I
- 40:11Speaker 9: lived in Melbourne for several years. I still view it
- 40:14Speaker 9: as a second home. And after these what Melbourne business
- 40:17Speaker 9: owners went through in twenty twenty, twenty twenty one under
- 40:20Speaker 9: Daniel Andry's dictatorship, being forced to shut down during COVID,
- 40:24Speaker 9: it was just a joke. And now the crime is
- 40:26Speaker 9: so out of control that there's this term hospitality terrorism.
- 40:31Speaker 9: It's unbelievable the amount of businesses that have been targeted.
- 40:35Speaker 9: I mean, what country are we living and this is shocking.
- 40:38Speaker 9: And you know, just Into Alan has just been mocked
- 40:39Speaker 9: right around the world for her attempt to crack down
- 40:43Speaker 9: on crime with a machete bin.
- 40:44Speaker 10: That she did.
- 40:45Speaker 9: You know, I saw plenty of Australia American commentators just
- 40:49Speaker 9: tearing her apart for that kind of approach.
- 40:51Speaker 10: But I think Lydia Thoughpe actually tops that.
- 40:54Speaker 9: I mean, trying to suggest that we should have less
- 40:57Speaker 9: police on the streets, have less prisons. It's just, you know,
- 40:59Speaker 9: I think He both alluded to this with ma'am Darney
- 41:01Speaker 9: trying to walk away from his comments to defund the
- 41:04Speaker 9: police because we've had so many leftist activists. Thinks that
- 41:07Speaker 9: think that that is the brilliant solution to reduce crime,
- 41:11Speaker 9: to defund the police, And is it the Democrat James Talerico.
- 41:15Speaker 9: I think he was the one who said we should
- 41:17Speaker 9: all imagine a wonderful world and what it would be
- 41:21Speaker 9: like a world without prison. So let's all imagine that
- 41:24Speaker 9: one because that's his advice, James Talerico. And we've heard
- 41:27Speaker 9: from Lydia thorpein I'm sure that's really going to help
- 41:30Speaker 9: Melbourne right now.
- 41:33Speaker 3: Now we've saved the funniest for last. And anyone who
- 41:37Speaker 3: knows me knows just how much I love a roast.
- 41:40Speaker 3: No one does it better than the Americans, whether they're
- 41:43Speaker 3: roasting Donald Trump, Tom Brady or the latest victim. Little
- 41:48Speaker 3: actor had comic Kevin Hart. He is little and his
- 41:52Speaker 3: size was naturally the top topic. Even body positivity leader
- 41:58Speaker 3: Lizzo was having a go.
- 42:00Speaker 4: Kevin and I are both marked for our size and
- 42:03Speaker 4: we share that pain. But I can lose weight, you
- 42:05Speaker 4: can't get tolerant. And here is Tony Hitchcliff.
- 42:14Speaker 17: You know, Kevin, they told me not to mention your
- 42:16Speaker 17: kids on this roast, but I must say you did good.
- 42:20Speaker 17: They've gotten so big they now buckle Kevin up in
- 42:22Speaker 17: the car seat. It's true we lost his gig hosting
- 42:26Speaker 17: the Academy Awards because of some homophobic tweets, but you'd
- 42:29Speaker 17: be homophobic two if you were eye level with everyone's cock.
- 42:35Speaker 4: Gabby. It was certainly not PC. They never are, but
- 42:38Speaker 4: it was very funny. They are just so good at it,
- 42:42Speaker 4: and I would say anyone who signs up to do this.
- 42:46Speaker 3: Has to have a thick skin because, oh my god,
- 42:49Speaker 3: they are brutal.
- 42:51Speaker 10: They are brutal.
- 42:53Speaker 9: But you can kind of see how Kevin Hart is
- 42:55Speaker 9: loving it. He's kind of laughing so much that he's crying,
- 42:58Speaker 9: and he looked those comments from Tony Hinchcliff. There of
- 43:01Speaker 9: course not PC at all, but that's what comedians are
- 43:04Speaker 9: meant to do. I mean, there's meant to be a
- 43:06Speaker 9: bit of shock valuement. They're meant to push the boundaries.
- 43:09Speaker 9: You know, there's no special treatment for anyone.
- 43:11Speaker 10: No matter who you are. They will roast you no
- 43:14Speaker 10: matter what.
- 43:15Speaker 9: And I'd rather live in a world where you can
- 43:17Speaker 9: make jokes that are not quite pac as, opposed to
- 43:21Speaker 9: a world where plenty of lefties would like to live,
- 43:23Speaker 9: where you have to censor any joke that may be
- 43:25Speaker 9: a little bit offensive.
- 43:26Speaker 18: Reader.
- 43:28Speaker 4: Yeah, but let's stay with Tony Hitchcliff.
- 43:31Speaker 3: He saved his harshest words for lefty comic Chelsea Handler,
- 43:36Speaker 3: who was also their roasting Kevin Hart.
- 43:39Speaker 17: Chelsea, why so serious? She looks like the joker people.
- 43:45Speaker 17: She's aging like a vegetable in Lizzo's fridge. Yeah, and
- 43:50Speaker 17: she sucks and always has. By the way, her whole
- 43:54Speaker 17: act is just talking about oh, stupid app kids, we
- 43:57Speaker 17: get at your ovaries are busted. That's like a Kevin's
- 44:00Speaker 17: whole act was about how roller coasters aren't that cool anyway.
- 44:07Speaker 17: But seriously, Chelsea actually had her eggs frozen, not on purpose,
- 44:10Speaker 17: They're just inside of a cold, frigid.
- 44:15Speaker 4: Dramond Green also went after Chelsea Handler.
- 44:19Speaker 2: And no, I never have and never will smash Chelsea.
- 44:23Speaker 1: Hething.
- 44:24Speaker 2: I'm Dremonda Green.
- 44:26Speaker 4: I don't hit threes. But she got her own back, Tony.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Is what happens when women don't have safe access to
- 44:36Speaker 1: abortion care. Tony and Shane. Both live in Texas, where
- 44:42Speaker 1: abortion is illegal. But on the upside, if you see
- 44:44Speaker 1: one of them doing comedy, there's a pretty good chance
- 44:47Speaker 1: your uterus will start dry heaving on its own.
- 44:53Speaker 4: Kosher. She then made a bunch of gay jokes.
- 44:56Speaker 3: It seems even the lefties are happy to to forget
- 45:00Speaker 3: about being offended when there's a roast happening that will
- 45:04Speaker 3: say whatever needs to be said to get a laugh.
- 45:07Speaker 10: Seems that way.
- 45:07Speaker 12: It feels like the last Bastian of where comedians can
- 45:10Speaker 12: actually do comedy be equal opportunity offenders. It feels like
- 45:14Speaker 12: it's a shrinking stage where that's allowed more and more.
- 45:17Speaker 12: This is now on Netflix. I'm sure that has something
- 45:20Speaker 12: to do with it. Live streaming is a big part
- 45:22Speaker 12: of Netflix's strategy, and it's more in a holds barrowed
- 45:25Speaker 12: compared to broadcast television. Maybe they should expand the franchise
- 45:28Speaker 12: to a cure starmer.
- 45:29Speaker 10: Rust.
- 45:31Speaker 3: Imagine they did Donald Trump, but I think that was
- 45:34Speaker 3: well before he entered politic.
- 45:36Speaker 12: And he could take it, and you've got sort of them.
- 45:39Speaker 12: He loves types of events where they do that. I
- 45:40Speaker 12: think here might struggle, especially given the free speech thing,
- 45:43Speaker 12: But that would be fine if Netflix expanded the franchise
- 45:46Speaker 12: outside of Hollywood.
- 45:47Speaker 3: Can you imagine the local candidates. That would be a
- 45:50Speaker 3: lot of a lot of material you could work with
- 45:52Speaker 3: without politicians.
- 45:54Speaker 4: Now, football legend.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Tom Brady, whose own roast was world class, came back
- 45:59Speaker 3: to Hart.
- 46:01Speaker 5: Have you even left the forum or have you just
- 46:05Speaker 5: been here screaming into that mike the last two years
- 46:08Speaker 5: waiting for daddy to come home? Well, unlike your real dad,
- 46:14Speaker 5: I actually showed up.
- 46:16Speaker 4: I told you they're going there.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Kevin Hart's father did abandon him, and just about every
- 46:22Speaker 3: one on stage mentioned it.
- 46:24Speaker 10: Now.
- 46:24Speaker 3: The biggest surprise of the night was the inclusion of
- 46:28Speaker 3: Kat Williams. He is a real life enemy of Kevin Hart,
- 46:33Speaker 3: but he showed up.
- 46:36Speaker 4: Hello Kevin, Hello Kat. I'm surprised they invited me. That's
- 46:47Speaker 4: how little star power you have. They had to start
- 46:50Speaker 4: inviting your enemies. I said, I hate him. They said,
- 46:55Speaker 4: come anyway.
- 46:58Speaker 3: Gab and Kat went there. He talked about the Diddy parties.
- 47:03Speaker 3: He talked about how uncomfortable Kevin Hart kiss. When you
- 47:07Speaker 3: talk about his attendance and the Diddy parties, it seems
- 47:10Speaker 3: like no topic was off the table here.
- 47:14Speaker 9: Well, look, I'm all for no topic off the table.
- 47:18Speaker 9: I think that's a good thing. We've had too much
- 47:20Speaker 9: silence from you know, you look at what's happening in
- 47:23Speaker 9: the UK. Where are you just basically get everything censored?
- 47:25Speaker 9: So now we've got the other extreme where we can
- 47:27Speaker 9: talk about absolutely everything. And if you get your enemies
- 47:30Speaker 9: on board to roast you, Rita, who would you get
- 47:32Speaker 9: as your enemy? So we get Happy Chatfield perhaps to
- 47:36Speaker 9: roast you if we're doing a roast of Rita, I
- 47:39Speaker 9: think very funny.
- 47:41Speaker 4: Would who would we get?
- 47:43Speaker 3: I want to get someone who's actually because if they're
- 47:45Speaker 3: going to go you and it's going to be vicious
- 47:48Speaker 3: and it's going to be harsh, I want needs to
- 47:50Speaker 3: be witty.
- 47:52Speaker 12: It's got to be clever and realized going. We should
- 47:54Speaker 12: do a Sky News roast that would be fun.
- 47:56Speaker 3: We should maybe at the next Christmas party. But let's
- 48:01Speaker 3: just brainstorm this one. Now, I've got one last clip
- 48:04Speaker 3: that I could have played you on thousand, But this
- 48:06Speaker 3: one is roast master Jeff Ross, who's only job seems
- 48:10Speaker 3: to be showing up to these roasts and doing a
- 48:13Speaker 3: set and then we don't see him for another twelve months.
- 48:16Speaker 4: Let's have a look at Jeff Kevin.
- 48:19Speaker 18: I know your dad walked out on you, and then
- 48:21Speaker 18: I went to see one of your movies and then
- 48:23Speaker 18: I walked out on you. Maybe you're spending too much
- 48:28Speaker 18: time in the gym working out. It's arm day, It's
- 48:30Speaker 18: leg day. When is it script day? Do you even
- 48:35Speaker 18: read these pieces before you say yes? Come on spell Jumanji?
- 48:44Speaker 3: Just good fun, good fun, ladies. It has been a pleasure.
- 48:49Speaker 3: Gabriella Power, Kosher Gator.
- 48:51Speaker 4: Thank you so much for your time tonight.
- 48:53Speaker 10: Thank you, Rita, Thanks Da
