- 0:00Speaker 1: We're talking about, you know, some people that always get
- 0:02Speaker 1: you into an argument, right? Like maybe a family member
- 0:06Speaker 1: or a friend, you and your husband, you and your wife,
- 0:07Speaker 1: you always get in an argument when their name comes up.
- 0:10Speaker 1: This is funny, though, because a guy just texted and
- 0:12Speaker 1: said that his wife's sister lives in. She's 20-something years old, 25,
- 0:16Speaker 1: I think. She's always bringing guys back to the house.
- 0:19Speaker 1: It's always causing problems between him and his wife, right? Well,
- 0:23Speaker 1: check this out. Hey, Romeo, you were just talking about roommates, right?
- 0:28Speaker 1: Me and my husband, we were married for three years.
- 0:32Speaker 1: My best friend, she needed a place to stay, so
- 0:35Speaker 1: we decided to allow her to live with us.
- 0:38Speaker 2: We had just bought our new house.
- 0:40Speaker 1: We had extra room, so it was no big deal. Well,
- 0:43Speaker 1: fast forward 18 months later, she now lives in my
- 0:48Speaker 1: house with my husband, and we were going through a divorce.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Don't ever let anybody live with you and your spouse.
- 1:00Speaker 1: I would say, I mean, who would do that, right?
- 1:03Speaker 1: Why would you? I mean, yeah, I totally agree with that.
- 1:07Speaker 1: That's why I just said that. If you're a couple,
- 1:12Speaker 1: married or not, it's just you never have a roommate,
- 1:15Speaker 1: never have a third wheel in your house. You should
- 1:18Speaker 1: never allow that. already four, two, five, four, seven to seven.
- 1:21Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:22Speaker 1: So a lady said, uh, she was, we were talking
- 1:24Speaker 1: about roommates, right? She said that, uh, she had, uh,
- 1:27Speaker 1: her and her husband had been married a couple of years.
- 1:31Speaker 1: They ended up getting a new house and, uh, they
- 1:33Speaker 1: let her, they let her best friends stay with them.
- 1:37Speaker 2: So turns out years.
- 1:40Speaker 1: So later, 18 months later, she says, uh, Now my
- 1:43Speaker 1: best friend lives there with my husband, and we're going
- 1:45Speaker 1: through a divorce. So yeah, you gotta, you know, it happens, man.
- 1:49Speaker 2: You can't do that. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7-yo-rum.
- 1:52Speaker 1: My mom always told me, don't ever bring another woman
- 1:57Speaker 1: in your home around your husband. I guess my uncle
- 2:00Speaker 1: cheated on my aunt with her best friend. That would
- 2:04Speaker 1: go over their house a lot. Yeah, you can't see.
- 2:08Speaker 1: One of the things, and this is one of the things,
- 2:10Speaker 1: if you ever pay attention... to, uh, to women and
- 2:15Speaker 1: the women that are smart, they're never talking about how
- 2:19Speaker 1: great their husbands are. I mean, you know, have you
- 2:23Speaker 1: ever been around a bunch of women who are talking
- 2:25Speaker 1: about their men and most, and, and we always think,
- 2:29Speaker 1: Oh my God, these women, why are they always talking
- 2:31Speaker 1: bad about their men in front of these women? I mean,
- 2:33Speaker 1: is it an ego thing? Is it a narcissistic thing? No,
- 2:37Speaker 1: it's a, I'm keeping my husband thing. There is a
- 2:41Speaker 1: lot of truth to the fact that there are women
- 2:44Speaker 1: out there who will not say positive things around their
- 2:48Speaker 1: friends about their husbands. Because they don't want their friends,
- 2:53Speaker 1: you know, wanting their husbands.
- 2:57Speaker 2: There are a lot of women out there. There are
- 2:59Speaker 2: a lot of you that are married, right?
- 3:01Speaker 1: And you're a good woman. You got a good man.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And your friends are just awful. still single, can't get
- 3:09Speaker 1: it together. Or you have one friend in your group
- 3:12Speaker 1: who's single and can't.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Get it together.
- 3:14Speaker 1: And she's always trying to, you know, do too much
- 3:16Speaker 1: party too hard. No man wants her because she's washed up,
- 3:19Speaker 1: used up. And then you're going to sit there and
- 3:21Speaker 1: talk about how great your husband is around her.
- 3:23Speaker 2: You don't want her going after your husband. That just
- 3:26Speaker 2: causes problems, you know?
- 3:28Speaker 1: So, yeah, there's a lot of women out there that
- 3:31Speaker 1: are smart enough to not say positive things about their husbands,
- 3:35Speaker 1: not because they don't believe in their husbands, not because
- 3:38Speaker 1: their husbands aren't great. They just don't want other women
- 3:42Speaker 1: over there trying to, you know, get their man. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. So,
- 3:50Speaker 1: damn sure don't let one of your friends move in
- 3:52Speaker 1: with you. You can't trust these women.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 3:56Speaker 1: I don't know how many of you out there, how
- 3:59Speaker 1: many of you women out there think you have just
- 4:01Speaker 1: the best friends, the most loyal women, female friends?
- 4:04Speaker 3: No.
- 4:05Speaker 2: They'll take your.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Husband in a heartbeat if they got an opportunity. Romeo,
- 4:09Speaker 1: it's Hot Daddy 4.1.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Yo, Ro. What up, man?
- 4:13Speaker 4: Man, let me just tell you, that lady, she's a
- 4:16Speaker 4: good friend.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Why? She basically gave her friend a permanent place to stay, man.
- 4:28Speaker 3: I mean, you can't get.
- 4:30Speaker 5: That's a good friend right there, man.
- 4:33Speaker 2: She basically gave her husband to their friend. Wow, that
- 4:42Speaker 2: is hilarious.
- 4:44Speaker 5: Yeah, you couldn't ask for a better friend.
- 4:46Speaker 3: Than that, bro.
- 4:47Speaker 2: No, you're right. Hey, Rome, why you got to be
- 4:51Speaker 2: talking bad about women? Don't nobody want nobody else's man. Yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 2: they do. Yeah, they do. That's why.
- 4:58Speaker 1: That's why women don't be praising their men in front
- 5:01Speaker 1: of their single friends.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Because, you know, you can.
- 5:05Speaker 6: Gosh.
- 5:07Speaker 1: All right, I'm going to tell you this story. And
- 5:09Speaker 1: I know they're listening, but I'm going to tell you
- 5:11Speaker 1: this story. I'm sorry, guys, but I'm going to tell
- 5:13Speaker 1: the story, okay? So, a few years back. Some friends
- 5:21Speaker 1: of mine, right? And I know, I knew the girl.
- 5:25Speaker 1: All right, so I have these friends who are married, right? Well,
- 5:29Speaker 1: the wife's best friend goes through a divorce. So as
- 5:34Speaker 1: she's going through the divorce, she needs help with stuff
- 5:38Speaker 1: around the house.
- 5:40Speaker 2: You know, so the wife, my friend, she.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Convinces her husband hey i need you to help my
- 5:49Speaker 1: friend out she's been my best friend for since high
- 5:52Speaker 1: school and she needs some help around the house you
- 5:56Speaker 1: know because her husband you know they're going divorce so
- 5:58Speaker 1: now she's hanging around with them more and he's you
- 6:02Speaker 1: know of course he doesn't think anything of it because
- 6:05Speaker 1: well he's a moron yes you're a moron bro and
- 6:08Speaker 1: i told you this um i've said this i've said
- 6:12Speaker 1: this the whole i've said this the whole i've always
- 6:14Speaker 1: told you guys this Forever. All of my married friends,
- 6:20Speaker 1: I do not talk to their wives without their husbands.
- 6:24Speaker 1: Not because I think their wives are interested in me.
- 6:28Speaker 1: In fact, I know they're not. Their husbands are all
- 6:30Speaker 1: better looking. Their husbands all have more money.
- 6:32Speaker 2: They're all more... Everything.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Everything there can be, right? But you just never know.
- 6:39Speaker 1: You don't want to be put in a position because
- 6:42Speaker 1: you just never know.
- 6:43Speaker 2: You know, unfortunately... I.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Hate to tell you guys this, and you guys already know,
- 6:49Speaker 1: but it don't matter who it is. But she could
- 6:53Speaker 1: be the richest, hottest woman in the world, but at
- 6:55Speaker 1: her lowest point, she will make some bad decisions. At
- 6:58Speaker 1: her most insecure point in life, she will make decisions
- 7:02Speaker 1: that you would never thought she would have made.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Okay?
- 7:05Speaker 2: So listen to me. So back to my friends, okay?
- 7:10Speaker 2: And I told this guy, don't do it. Don't do it.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Well, so he starts helping her. best friend from high school.
- 7:21Speaker 1: They used to hang out together when she was married,
- 7:23Speaker 1: their husbands, all the stuff, right? He starts helping out
- 7:28Speaker 1: around the house. She needs something fixed, something not working.
- 7:31Speaker 1: So one day he calls me because I'm free all day.
- 7:36Speaker 1: He calls me up and he goes, hey, so-and-so wants
- 7:40Speaker 1: us to go by the house and hang up some cabinets.
- 7:43Speaker 2: You got some new cabinets. And I said, okay. Okay.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I can go help you do that. So I go
- 7:48Speaker 1: help him. We show up to this woman's house. Now,
- 7:51Speaker 1: mind you, this is his wife's best friend. She is
- 7:56Speaker 1: literally laying topless by her pool when we get there
- 8:02Speaker 1: with the cabinets. And when we get there, she doesn't even,
- 8:09Speaker 1: doesn't even rush. Doesn't even think much of it. Slowly
- 8:13Speaker 1: takes her time.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Oh, okay. And I'm like, I'm looking at my buddy going,
- 8:18Speaker 2: does your wife know? And is this the first time?
- 8:21Speaker 2: What's going on? I actually thought he was messing around
- 8:23Speaker 2: with her at that point.
- 8:25Speaker 3: You know?
- 8:26Speaker 1: And so after we hang the cabinets, we go, we
- 8:32Speaker 1: have a beer and I just asked.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Him point blank. I said, bro, what's going on? Are
- 8:35Speaker 2: you screwing around with this girl? He's like, no.
- 8:37Speaker 3: He goes, but.
- 8:38Speaker 1: You know, she does hit on me, you know, talking
- 8:41Speaker 1: about what a good man I am and how lucky
- 8:43Speaker 1: my wife is. And I was like, then why are
- 8:46Speaker 1: you still coming over here? Well, it's my wife's best friend.
- 8:51Speaker 1: And I said, well, did you tell your wife? Well, no,
- 8:54Speaker 1: because it's her best friend. You know, he's trying to
- 8:55Speaker 1: do the right thing. But so finally I said something.
- 9:02Speaker 1: We go back to his place.
- 9:03Speaker 2: She's like, do you know what your best friend is
- 9:05Speaker 2: trying to take your husband?
- 9:07Speaker 1: What are you talking about? And I'm like, And I
- 9:09Speaker 1: told them, and then the husband comes clean and tells them.
- 9:11Speaker 1: I'm like, all of a sudden, you know, all of
- 9:14Speaker 1: a sudden she leaves. You know, the wife leaves. And
- 9:18Speaker 1: they're not friends anymore.
- 9:21Speaker 2: But my point is, you cannot trust another woman. You can't.
- 9:29Speaker 2: And I know all of you women.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Out there think you have the most loyal friends, the
- 9:32Speaker 1: most dedicated friends. You cannot trust them. Because when they
- 9:38Speaker 1: reach a certain point in life and they want what
- 9:41Speaker 1: you have, they'll take it if they can. I've seen
- 9:47Speaker 1: it happen so many times. Yo, Rome, you were talking
- 9:50Speaker 1: about a woman's friend taking her man. I just want
- 9:54Speaker 1: you to know, can no man get taken if he
- 9:57Speaker 1: doesn't want to? It has nothing to do with you.
- 10:00Speaker 1: do with the women. Yeah, I disagree with that.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I don't think so. I think you're wrong.
- 10:12Speaker 2: If you.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I think you're wrong. There's a reason why your
- 10:18Speaker 1: husband married you. All of the steps that you went
- 10:21Speaker 1: through for him to want to marry you or be
- 10:23Speaker 1: with you are happening when you're allowing him to be
- 10:28Speaker 1: with another woman. They may not be having sex yet,
- 10:32Speaker 1: but they're getting to know each other. That's why I
- 10:34Speaker 1: always tell you, why do you think coworkers always cheat
- 10:37Speaker 1: with each other? Why do you think you always, the
- 10:39Speaker 1: majority of you, lose your husband or wife to a coworker?
- 10:43Speaker 1: Because they spend all day dating is basically what they're doing.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Coworkers having personal conversations about their lives is basically dating.
- 10:56Speaker 1: That's what you and your spouse did before you got married.
- 10:59Speaker 1: That's how you got to know each other. So no,
- 11:03Speaker 1: you're 100.
- 11:04Speaker 2: You can't sit there and just say that it's all
- 11:07Speaker 2: the man's fault because it's not.
- 11:11Speaker 3: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 11:11Speaker 2: Yo, Rome, you never let another dog in your yard. Exactly.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 11:19Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 11:21Speaker 1: Okay.
- 11:21Speaker 8: Is this Romeo? I just heard your story.
- 11:23Speaker 2: Yeah, what's up?
- 11:25Speaker 6: Okay.
- 11:25Speaker 8: That girl was never her friend. She was never loyal.
- 11:28Speaker 8: She's trash.
- 11:30Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
- 11:30Speaker 8: I would never in a million years even look my
- 11:34Speaker 8: best friend's husband's way.
- 11:36Speaker 3: Hold on. It won't happen.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Hold on. Hold on. Let's hold on. Calm down. They
- 11:41Speaker 2: have been friends for 20-something years, since high school.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Okay?
- 11:46Speaker 2: First of all, how can you say they were never friends?
- 11:50Speaker 8: Because it's who the girl is internally. At the core
- 11:53Speaker 8: of who she was is not a good person.
- 11:56Speaker 7: Okay.
- 11:56Speaker 8: And somehow her friends overlooked that. And you can be
- 12:00Speaker 8: a friend with somebody who's mean inside.
- 12:03Speaker 9: It's like when Mean Girls hook up with Mean Girls.
- 12:05Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 12:07Speaker 8: So she overlooked that thinking she was untouchable, the wife.
- 12:11Speaker 5: Okay.
- 12:11Speaker 8: But she wasn't.
- 12:12Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question.
- 12:13Speaker 8: She chose to overlook that her friend was selfish and
- 12:18Speaker 8: that she, you know, and the.
- 12:20Speaker 10: Signs are always there.
- 12:22Speaker 5: They are.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Hold on.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Let me ask you a question. Have you ever met
- 12:26Speaker 2: a woman at her lowest point of insecurity in her life?
- 12:31Speaker 5: Yes.
- 12:32Speaker 2: And those women.
- 12:34Speaker 1: tend to lose morals and common sense when they're at
- 12:38Speaker 1: that point.
- 12:41Speaker 4: Yes but you said women not all women are like
- 12:44Speaker 4: that because i would never.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Do that okay all right okay have you ever.
- 12:52Speaker 8: Been have you ever been at that point start being
- 12:54Speaker 8: more alert.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Have you ever been at that point in your life.
- 12:59Speaker 8: Not with a friend, no. I did make one bad
- 13:01Speaker 8: decision once a few years ago.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Okay.
- 13:04Speaker 8: But I've never, not with.
- 13:05Speaker 9: My friends, ever, ever, ever. Okay.
- 13:08Speaker 3: No. Loyalty's everything. Wait, wait, wait.
- 13:09Speaker 2: What do you mean you made a bad decision? Tell me,
- 13:11Speaker 2: what was the bad decision?
- 13:15Speaker 6: Okay.
- 13:15Speaker 8: I was in my selfish air phase. And I hooked up.
- 13:22Speaker 10: Get ready.
- 13:23Speaker 6: I hooked up with this guy once.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:27Speaker 8: But what I found out later is him and his
- 13:29Speaker 8: wife were, they had an open relationship anyway. I didn't know,
- 13:35Speaker 8: but I always felt guilty about that. And so I,
- 13:39Speaker 8: you know, I never did that again.
- 13:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 13:42Speaker 8: But you know, so they, and he, he told me
- 13:45Speaker 8: since that he had told her. And so I was like, okay,
- 13:50Speaker 8: but she's very well aware.
- 13:51Speaker 2: I understand what you're saying.
- 13:53Speaker 7: Okay.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Okay. But there's a couple of things.
- 13:55Speaker 8: Did you hear how I said I was in my
- 13:57Speaker 8: selfish era?
- 13:58Speaker 2: No, but that's what I'm saying. But what I'm saying is, though,
- 14:02Speaker 2: if you are around somebody enough and you've reached a
- 14:06Speaker 2: low point in your life where you've just gone through
- 14:08Speaker 2: a divorce. you feel like nobody loves you or cares
- 14:11Speaker 2: about you, and then you have your friend's man coming
- 14:14Speaker 2: over to help you out all the time because your
- 14:17Speaker 2: friend told him to, you start to feel a little bit,
- 14:21Speaker 2: you start to build a bond with that person in
- 14:23Speaker 2: a way that's different.
- 14:25Speaker 5: No.
- 14:26Speaker 10: It is.
- 14:27Speaker 2: Okay.
- 14:29Speaker 10: No.
- 14:30Speaker 8: Females, just like guys, it's different.
- 14:34Speaker 10: Okay.
- 14:34Speaker 8: It's different because it is your female friend, and especially
- 14:38Speaker 8: because she has her... her bond with her friends. That's
- 14:40Speaker 8: what I'm saying.
- 14:42Speaker 1: I get what you're saying. And I think nine times
- 14:44Speaker 1: out of ten, you're wrong. Maybe you're the exception.
- 14:48Speaker 8: This is the one time you get them right.
- 14:51Speaker 2: All right, selfish phase.
- 14:52Speaker 3: We'll see you later. Bye.
- 14:56Speaker 2: Good morning. What's going on?
- 14:57Speaker 10: Hey, Romeo.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Hey, what's going on? What you doing?
- 15:01Speaker 10: Man, I'm in here working in the kitchen listening to you.
- 15:05Speaker 10: And I see we talking about this again, huh?
- 15:09Speaker 2: Well, I just think you chicks are shy, Steve. Especially
- 15:14Speaker 2: when you're insecure and at a low point.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Not when you're secure with yourself and ready to take
- 15:20Speaker 1: on the world.
- 15:20Speaker 2: It's when you're insecure and sad and lonely. And I
- 15:24Speaker 2: just think, yeah.
- 15:26Speaker 10: Oh, yeah. They get out of character and do some stuff.
- 15:29Speaker 10: Because I know some people like that right now that
- 15:32Speaker 10: just look for married people. Oh, girl, I was with
- 15:35Speaker 10: this married man. My face dropped, and I look at them, and, like,
- 15:38Speaker 10: they go, oh, I know you married, and, you know, I.
- 15:41Speaker 3: Would never do that to you.
- 15:42Speaker 10: Excuse my French.
- 15:44Speaker 5: B-I-T-C-H.
- 15:44Speaker 10: Why you lying?
- 15:45Speaker 2: I would never do that. No, hell no. You're the
- 15:49Speaker 2: first one they'll do it to when they say that. Yeah,
- 15:51Speaker 2: and then, look, here it is.
- 15:52Speaker 10: My friend going to get mad.
- 15:53Speaker 11: I don't care.
- 15:54Speaker 10: One time, we was all chilling and stuff, and my
- 15:56Speaker 10: friend got a friend. that that's just, Ooh, she talks
- 16:00Speaker 10: so disrespectful.
- 16:02Speaker 9: Around my friend, man.
- 16:03Speaker 3: Right.
- 16:04Speaker 10: And then one day we had my house chilling and
- 16:06Speaker 10: a friend wanted to come over to my house and
- 16:09Speaker 10: I gave my friend a look.
- 16:11Speaker 3: And then, uh, the.
- 16:12Speaker 10: Girl said, let me talk to her.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Let me talk to her.
- 16:14Speaker 10: So she talked to me on the phone and tell me, Oh,
- 16:16Speaker 10: I wouldn't do you like that.
- 16:17Speaker 11: I wouldn't do you like that.
- 16:18Speaker 10: Uh, I was raised different, you know, and all this.
- 16:21Speaker 12: So, okay.
- 16:22Speaker 10: I'm like, I'm gonna let her come on over. She
- 16:24Speaker 10: came over and we chilling in the yard. And I
- 16:27Speaker 10: told them, before she get here, if she gets to
- 16:29Speaker 10: talking about her kitty cat.
- 16:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 16:33Speaker 10: I'm going to kick her in it, and she's getting
- 16:35Speaker 10: the heck up out of my yard.
- 16:36Speaker 3: But anyway, the.
- 16:38Speaker 10: Girl came on over, though, and she didn't do nothing disrespectful,
- 16:42Speaker 10: but she did some disrespectful stuff to my friend that
- 16:45Speaker 10: I think is very disrespectful, and my friend needs to
- 16:47Speaker 10: let that go. You can't trust nobody like that.
- 16:50Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, you can't. But there are these women, like
- 16:54Speaker 2: the last girl that called, she is 100% sure she
- 16:57Speaker 2: would never do one of her friends dirty, but, yeah,
- 17:00Speaker 2: she did some dirty.
- 17:03Speaker 10: Now, see, there could be a line between stuff. You
- 17:07Speaker 10: got to leave cousins alone, friends, mans alone. You know, like,
- 17:11Speaker 10: you that messed up with your life, you got to
- 17:13Speaker 10: go get your friends.
- 17:14Speaker 3: Man, or take somebody.
- 17:16Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying?
- 17:16Speaker 10: They just pathetic, and they freaking losers, and I can't
- 17:19Speaker 10: stand them.
- 17:20Speaker 2: I'm with you.
- 17:21Speaker 3: All right, DJ.
- 17:22Speaker 2: Well, thanks for calling. Damn, you fired up today.
- 17:26Speaker 10: That was my Friday, and I had a triple shot
- 17:28Speaker 10: of coffee.
- 17:29Speaker 11: All right.
- 17:30Speaker 2: All right, DJ. We'll see you later. Who's playing this weekend?
- 17:34Speaker 2: What's today? Today's Friday, right? Oh, first game, 10 a.m.
- 17:42Speaker 1: You got the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Chargers.
- 17:47Speaker 1: That should be an ass whoopin'. Carolina and Cleveland, who cares?
- 17:52Speaker 1: Detroit and New York, nobody cares. Indianapolis and Houston, still
- 17:56Speaker 1: nobody cares. Kansas City and Miami, that should be Kansas City.
- 18:04Speaker 1: That's really a throwaway game, right? Nobody cares about that.
- 18:07Speaker 1: Tennessee and New York, doesn't matter.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Oh, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. That might be something worth watching.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Cincinnati and Pittsburgh kind of rivals, although Pittsburgh's probably.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Going to take that L. Seattle and Washington, not really
- 18:23Speaker 2: a game. New England and.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Jacksonville, that might be a legitimate game to watch. San
- 18:28Speaker 1: Francisco and Arizona, obviously that's a division game, so that's
- 18:34Speaker 1: probably something to look. But San Francisco's probably going to
- 18:37Speaker 1: beat Arizona. Minnesota, Tampa Bay, who cares? Ooh, Baltimore and Dallas.
- 18:46Speaker 1: What is Dallas?
- 18:47Speaker 2: One and one?
- 18:49Speaker 1: Dallas is going to get their ass kicked by Baltimore.
- 18:51Speaker 1: Though Baltimore coming off a loss, yeah. New Orleans and Vegas.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I don't even know.
- 18:58Speaker 1: I don't think New Orleans is Vegas' favorite or New
- 19:02Speaker 1: Orleans' favorite. Oh, that's because New Orleans is at home.
- 19:06Speaker 1: So that's a toss-up.
- 19:08Speaker 2: But I don't know. Who cares, right? Denver and Los Angeles.
- 19:17Speaker 2: The Rams and the Broncos. That might be a... That's
- 19:20Speaker 2: the night game. That might be a good game. That
- 19:22Speaker 2: might be worth watching.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Then, of course, Monday night, which is Philly and Chicago,
- 19:27Speaker 1: which since Caleb Williams is out, Caleb becomes a garbage
- 19:31Speaker 1: game now that the... If Caleb would... If he wasn't...
- 19:34Speaker 1: But yeah, I guess there's a couple of games to watch.
- 19:38Speaker 1: The first game, Rams and Buffalo, Rams and Bills, and
- 19:42Speaker 1: I mean, sorry, the Chargers and the Bills, and then
- 19:44Speaker 1: the Rams and the Broncos.
- 19:46Speaker 2: We'll be right back. something worth watching, right? The rest
- 19:52Speaker 2: of them are just kind of garbage games.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Hmm.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Yeah. Already 4-2-5-4, 7-7. What do we got here? Hey,
- 20:01Speaker 2: good morning, Romeo. Who's this? Gilrod. Hey, good morning, Rome.
- 20:04Speaker 2: It's Gilrod streaming from Oakdale.
- 20:06Speaker 5: I have.
- 20:07Speaker 1: These contractors that are Raiders fans, can you play that
- 20:10Speaker 1: latest Raiders song for them? I want them to hear it.
- 20:13Speaker 1: I'm making you famous all across Cali. Yeah, we could
- 20:18Speaker 1: probably do that.
- 20:19Speaker 2: Last night, Green Bay and Atlanta, oh my gosh.
- 20:22Speaker 1: Green Bay got embarrassed last night for whatever reason.
- 20:27Speaker 2: I had to turn the game off. I actually watched
- 20:28Speaker 2: it for about....
- 20:32Speaker 1: You know what I was thinking when I was watching?
- 20:34Speaker 1: I think I watched it at halftime or maybe a
- 20:36Speaker 1: little bit after halftime. But you know what I was
- 20:39Speaker 1: thinking when I was watching Poor Jordan Love is this. Now,
- 20:45Speaker 1: I think we all like Jordan Love. He's from Bakersfield.
- 20:48Speaker 1: The kid, from what I understand now, I don't know
- 20:50Speaker 1: the kid, right? I hear his parents are amazing. I
- 20:54Speaker 1: hear the kid still comes home. He still supports the community.
- 20:58Speaker 1: And so I like to see him succeed. If everything
- 21:02Speaker 1: I hear about him is true, I want to see
- 21:03Speaker 1: the kid succeed, right? Because he represents the town. I
- 21:06Speaker 1: love people who represent our town. But this is what
- 21:12Speaker 1: I was thinking. The offensive line of the Green Bay
- 21:16Speaker 1: Packers is terrible.
- 21:18Speaker 2: I mean, they're horrible.
- 21:20Speaker 1: That poor kid had to run. I couldn't get anything
- 21:23Speaker 1: done to save his life last night. From what I saw,
- 21:27Speaker 1: offensive line couldn't block anybody.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Is that Jordan Love's fault? I don't think so.
- 21:34Speaker 1: You always hear these stories, and maybe you guys don't
- 21:38Speaker 1: because you're not as smart when it comes to football
- 21:40Speaker 1: as I am. You always hear these stories over the
- 21:43Speaker 1: years of, oh, Gilly will know. You always hear these
- 21:46Speaker 1: stories over the years of these quarterbacks. buying gifts for
- 21:51Speaker 1: the offensive line. Expensive gifts. They might buy them watches, Rolexes,
- 21:56Speaker 1: or they might buy them scooters, or they might buy
- 21:59Speaker 1: them cars, or they might, they buy their offensive line
- 22:02Speaker 1: something as a, you know, to show them, hey, how
- 22:05Speaker 1: much they, they respect them or how much they understand
- 22:11Speaker 1: what they do to keep these, you know, quarterbacks safe
- 22:14Speaker 1: because these quarterbacks make multi-millions of dollars. The offensive line
- 22:17Speaker 1: doesn't make no more near as much as a quarterback,
- 22:19Speaker 1: but Quarterbacks show their appreciation to their offensive.
- 22:24Speaker 3: Lines, right?
- 22:27Speaker 1: Does Jordan Love have to buy his offensive line anything?
- 22:31Speaker 1: They're not getting their job done.
- 22:35Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying? Like, they're just, they're not.
- 22:40Speaker 1: They're letting that kid hang out to dry every time
- 22:42Speaker 1: he backs up to pass, every time he drops back
- 22:45Speaker 1: to pass. These fools can't stop nobody. I think they're
- 22:48Speaker 1: like a four-man rush. Last night, and poor Jordan Love
- 22:53Speaker 1: couldn't do a damn thing. So does he really, what
- 22:56Speaker 1: appreciation does he show for his offensive line for them
- 23:00Speaker 1: not getting the job done?
- 23:02Speaker 2: Or do you just have to do it? Is it
- 23:05Speaker 2: just expected?
- 23:08Speaker 1: So that's what I got from last night's game. All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 23:14Speaker 2: 35-14. Yeah, the Packers, they got their asses handed to them.
- 23:19Speaker 2: And I blame the offensive line It's all their fault.
- 23:22Speaker 5: Hey, Rome.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Have you gone out to the fair yet? No, I
- 23:27Speaker 1: have not gone out to the fair yet. My boy
- 23:29Speaker 1: was out there yesterday. He was telling me $ 14 a beer.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Is that what he was saying? Sounds pretty good.
- 23:39Speaker 1: $ 14 a beer is better than $ 18 for.
- 23:42Speaker 3: A beer, right? So, yeah.
- 23:44Speaker 2: It's cheaper than Robobank. I mean, Dignity Health.
- 23:49Speaker 3: So, yeah.
- 23:52Speaker 1: There's probably a good chance I won't go out to
- 23:53Speaker 1: the fair this year. I don't really have any reason
- 23:56Speaker 1: to go check it out this year.
- 23:58Speaker 2: I'm already 425477.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Yo, Rome, who do you got? The Raiders or the Saints?
- 24:07Speaker 1: Based on everything I've seen in the last two weeks,
- 24:09Speaker 1: probably the Raiders, right? They seem to be winning, beating
- 24:12Speaker 1: mediocre teams or sorry-ass teams. To me, the Saints are
- 24:16Speaker 1: just another sorry-ass team, right?
- 24:19Speaker 2: Uh, yo Rome. Good morning, Romeo. Green Bay star running
- 24:22Speaker 2: back is still on suspend.
- 24:23Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I did mention that last night with the people I
- 24:25Speaker 1: was with. So the Packers have no run game. So
- 24:28Speaker 1: they depend more on the pass, uh, which allows the
- 24:31Speaker 1: defense to line up against the past better.
- 24:33Speaker 2: And it makes it harder for the offensive line to block.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Come on, come on. You can't be that stupid, but okay.
- 24:44Speaker 3: Good morning.
- 24:44Speaker 2: How's this going on?
- 24:46Speaker 9: I like your perspective on last night's game, Romeo.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Okay.
- 24:50Speaker 6: You know, the announcers were trying to put all the
- 24:52Speaker 6: blame on Love. But how is he supposed to be
- 24:56Speaker 6: able to throw it if he got these people rushing him?
- 25:00Speaker 9: Nobody's blocking him.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 25:04Speaker 9: And they were trying to say that he was under pressure.
- 25:06Speaker 6: You would chill if you had a 300-pound lineman running
- 25:09Speaker 6: at you.
- 25:10Speaker 9: Four of them and nobody blocking.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Nobody blocking.
- 25:13Speaker 9: And I wouldn't buy. You know what I would do?
- 25:15Speaker 6: I'd buy a box of seam glasses, hand them out.
- 25:18Speaker 12: To the team.
- 25:19Speaker 6: Say, did you see what I've seen? Because you guys
- 25:21Speaker 6: weren't doing it, you know. Yeah, I wouldn't buy them
- 25:25Speaker 6: nothing but seam glasses.
- 25:27Speaker 2: All right, get out of here. That's all I could
- 25:29Speaker 2: think about, though.
- 25:31Speaker 1: What do you get in your offensive line for Christmas
- 25:33Speaker 1: when they didn't do a damn thing for you?
- 25:35Speaker 2: Let's see here. Hey, Rome, it's my birthday.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I think I'm going to take the day off and
- 25:40Speaker 1: get some feta fries at the fair, maybe a corndog.
- 25:44Speaker 1: Then I'm going to go and buy some ranchera with
- 25:48Speaker 1: Ruben's tax dollars because I got EBT.
- 25:52Speaker 2: Have a good day, Rome. We're not doing this again. Ari, oh,
- 25:58Speaker 2: my God. Yesterday. You guys didn't listen yesterday. People were
- 26:04Speaker 2: talking about it. Give me this, Rome. It's my birthday.
- 26:07Speaker 2: I need some tickets for that, Rome. It's my birthday.
- 26:09Speaker 2: I want tickets for my kid's birthday for this and that.
- 26:14Speaker 1: I get the kid's part, but when it comes to
- 26:17Speaker 1: your birthday, your birthday is not special. It's not an
- 26:20Speaker 1: occasion unless there's about five or six birthdays that really
- 26:25Speaker 1: mean something, okay? And for the kids... Every birthday means something.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Once you're 18, you're done. 16, 18, you're done.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Okay? 21, maybe.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Maybe 40. Maybe 50 or 60, something like that.
- 26:41Speaker 2: But no.
- 26:43Speaker 1: If you're just turning 46 and you're talking about.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Oh, my God, it's my birthday, Rome. We need to
- 26:48Speaker 2: all celebrate. No, we don't. Especially a grown man. And
- 26:51Speaker 2: that was how it all started. If you're a grown
- 26:54Speaker 2: man celebrating your birthday like you're a four-year-old, you're an idiot. Okay?
- 26:59Speaker 1: Birthdays are not a special occasion. Don't act like you
- 27:03Speaker 1: need to take the week off work. Don't pretend like
- 27:06Speaker 1: the weekend's coming, so all weekend we got to celebrate
- 27:08Speaker 1: my birthday.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Oh my God, we got to do something special. It's
- 27:11Speaker 2: my birthday.
- 27:11Speaker 3: No.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Nobody cares, okay? And you shouldn't care either.
- 27:15Speaker 8: Hi, I was just thinking about the important birthdays you
- 27:19Speaker 8: were just talking about.
- 27:20Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 27:21Speaker 6: I think, um, 25 is important as well because your
- 27:25Speaker 6: insurance goes down to celebrate that.
- 27:28Speaker 3: Oh, sure.
- 27:29Speaker 12: That's a celebration.
- 27:36Speaker 2: That's pretty funny.
- 27:38Speaker 4: They say that's when your frontal lobe is fully developed,
- 27:44Speaker 4: so it's an important eight.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Well, I don't think that means you should celebrate the
- 27:48Speaker 2: weekend and take the day off and go to the
- 27:51Speaker 2: fair and buy feta fries, but okay. But yes, you're right.
- 27:59Speaker 8: I was just throwing it out there.
- 28:01Speaker 5: Another number you missed.
- 28:02Speaker 10: All right.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Thanks for calling. That's great. Yeah, that's great.
- 28:10Speaker 5: Morning, Al.
- 28:10Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 28:13Speaker 3: Morning, Romeo. This is me, Kansas City Beto. Formerly Beto Branco.
- 28:18Speaker 7: You know the rest.
- 28:20Speaker 3: It's my birthday today.
- 28:22Speaker 7: I'm going to go to the.
- 28:23Speaker 5: Fair, eat a corn dog, and drink one beer.
- 28:27Speaker 3: All right.
- 28:29Speaker 9: And ride my bike home.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Give me tickets. Give me tickets to get in.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I am not subsidizing birthdays ever, ever. Oh, my God.
- 28:45Speaker 7: You mean I have to cut through the fence again?
- 28:48Speaker 2: Yeah, cut through the fence, man. Look, man, don't nobody
- 28:55Speaker 2: care about your birthday, okay?
- 28:57Speaker 1: There are a few, the 25 is a good one.
- 29:00Speaker 1: There are a few birthdays that actually mean something, okay?
- 29:04Speaker 1: Especially as an adult man. Your birthdays don't mean a
- 29:08Speaker 1: damn thing after 21, all right? If you're an adult man,
- 29:12Speaker 1: your birth, nobody cares, okay? You shouldn't even care. That's
- 29:15Speaker 1: your problem. Kind of insecure, little pain in the ass
- 29:18Speaker 1: for you if you care about your birthday and you
- 29:20Speaker 1: want everybody to make a big.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Deal about it. It is not a special occasion, okay?
- 29:25Speaker 2: These guys.
- 29:27Speaker 11: Hey, yeah, Rome.
- 29:29Speaker 2: I got kicked out of employees. What happened here?
- 29:34Speaker 1: Oh, I get a kick out of employees. They tell
- 29:37Speaker 1: me it's their birthday, so they need the day off.
- 29:39Speaker 2: People do work. on their birthday. It's not that special.
- 29:41Speaker 2: It's not special.
- 29:43Speaker 1: Your birthday is not special, okay?
- 29:46Speaker 2: Stop acting like it is.
- 29:48Speaker 1: What kind of childish behavior or mindset do you have
- 29:54Speaker 1: to be 37 going, oh, it's my birthday.
- 29:57Speaker 2: It's a special day. We got to do all these things. No,
- 29:59Speaker 2: you don't. And what's up, Rome?
- 30:00Speaker 1: I have a coworker that I work with and she
- 30:03Speaker 1: celebrates her birthday all month saying that every day is
- 30:06Speaker 1: a special day for her because it's her birthday month.
- 30:09Speaker 2: I just started laughing. I think it's ridiculous.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Well, This whole thing started yesterday because Ruben, it's my birthday,
- 30:17Speaker 1: it's my birthday, and he's celebrating.
- 30:19Speaker 2: But you've got to understand.
- 30:21Speaker 1: You've got to treat women a little bit differently because
- 30:25Speaker 1: they're crazy, right? And they're insecure, and they want the attention.
- 30:31Speaker 1: So she's just insecure and wants attention. That's why she
- 30:33Speaker 1: does it.
- 30:34Speaker 2: But you've got to cut them a little bit of
- 30:36Speaker 2: slack because, you know, women are nuts. What's going on?
- 30:40Speaker 12: Hey, Romeo.
- 30:41Speaker 3: I get my birthday off. Okay.
- 30:44Speaker 5: Because my birthday is on the 3rd of July, and
- 30:46Speaker 5: usually you know how companies are off on the 4th
- 30:48Speaker 5: of July. Yeah.
- 30:50Speaker 3: So if it's.
- 30:51Speaker 5: Like on a weekend, they give us a 30-digit value off.
- 30:54Speaker 12: So it works out for me.
- 30:59Speaker 2: I can't believe I'm having this conversation right now.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Hey, happy birthday.
- 31:04Speaker 2: Get out of here. Nobody cares about your birthday. Good morning, Alex.
- 31:08Speaker 2: What's going on?
- 31:09Speaker 3: Good morning. Good morning, Alex.
- 31:10Speaker 9: Yeah, I was complaining about the birthday being special.
- 31:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:15Speaker 11: Yeah, well, I think you're 100% right, man. I was
- 31:18Speaker 11: one of those guys who I used to think my
- 31:20Speaker 11: birthday was special. So one time I decided to throw
- 31:23Speaker 11: a party thinking I was going to, you know, a
- 31:25Speaker 11: special day.
- 31:26Speaker 3: Well, I didn't. I wasted so much money on the party.
- 31:29Speaker 9: When everybody came.
- 31:29Speaker 11: Over, nobody cared. They didn't even bring me a gift.
- 31:32Speaker 3: Nobody gave me anything.
- 31:34Speaker 11: I wasted all this money on buying steaks, buying beer,
- 31:37Speaker 11: buying food, getting the music. My one damn freaking person
- 31:42Speaker 11: brought me a gift. Not even a hug.
- 31:44Speaker 3: Nobody told me happy birthday.
- 31:45Speaker 2: You had to learn the hard way, man.
- 31:48Speaker 3: No, man. I'm never throwing a birthday. I don't care.
- 31:50Speaker 9: My birthday, I'm going to work.
- 31:51Speaker 11: I don't care if I got to eat some fries
- 31:52Speaker 11: at work without eating there.
- 31:54Speaker 3: All right, man. Yes, he said it.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Nobody cares about your birthday.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Let's be very specific about it, okay? When you're a child,
- 32:06Speaker 1: from 0 to 18, 1 to 8, whatever you want
- 32:09Speaker 1: to say.
- 32:10Speaker 2: They're great.
- 32:11Speaker 1: You should celebrate them every year. You should do as
- 32:13Speaker 1: much as you can for your kids. After 18, you
- 32:17Speaker 1: celebrate 21. After that, nobody cares. I hate to tell
- 32:22Speaker 1: you this, nobody wants to go to your birthday party.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Nobody is waiting for you to have a birthday. Even
- 32:27Speaker 1: your own family members are not waiting for your birthday
- 32:32Speaker 1: because it's some sort of special occasion and everybody's ready
- 32:36Speaker 1: to go celebrate.
- 32:37Speaker 2: That is not happening, okay?
- 32:40Speaker 1: Just to let you know, nobody cares, especially if you're
- 32:44Speaker 1: a man. You shouldn't even care.
- 32:46Speaker 2: All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7, yo, Rome. Hey, you going to
- 32:52Speaker 2: the fair this year? If so, let me know so
- 32:53Speaker 2: I can go have a beer with you. Uh, yeah,
- 32:56Speaker 2: I probably won't go to the fair this year. I
- 32:57Speaker 2: don't really have a reason to go to the fair
- 32:59Speaker 2: this year.
- 32:59Speaker 1: I mean, I usually do like to go look at
- 33:01Speaker 1: the stuff, look, you know, look at the, all the
- 33:03Speaker 1: things and the animals, but I don't, I don't know.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Maybe yo Rome.
- 33:07Speaker 1: It's my birthday and I'll cry if I want to,
- 33:09Speaker 1: by the way, I don't celebrate a birthday. I celebrate
- 33:11Speaker 1: the whole birthday month.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Of course you do. That's embarrassing. You're just an embarrassment.
- 33:19Speaker 1: If it, If you make such a big deal out
- 33:21Speaker 1: of your birthday and you want everybody else to celebrate
- 33:26Speaker 1: with you like you're something, nobody cares.
- 33:30Speaker 2: Nobody cares.
- 33:33Speaker 1: They're only doing it out of the kindness of their
- 33:35Speaker 1: heart because you're their friend. Your family doesn't care. Your
- 33:38Speaker 1: friends don't. Nobody wants to celebrate your birthday.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Yo, Rome.
- 33:42Speaker 2: 18's a good one.
- 33:43Speaker 1: 21, 30, and 90 are the big ones. And if
- 33:44Speaker 1: you make it to 100 Um, why would 30 be
- 33:52Speaker 1: a big one?
- 33:54Speaker 2: And 90?
- 33:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:54Speaker 9: Okay.
- 33:56Speaker 3: All right. All right.
- 33:58Speaker 2: Four, two, five, four, seven, seven. Uh, what do we
- 34:02Speaker 2: got here?
- 34:03Speaker 7: Okay.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Nobody cares about your birthday. Not even your wife.
- 34:10Speaker 11: Cowboy car.
- 34:13Speaker 3: What up, brother?
- 34:14Speaker 10: Hey, man.
- 34:15Speaker 9: I just want to let you know.
- 34:16Speaker 12: Man, celebrating birthday is real special.
- 34:19Speaker 10: I got my carne asada ranchero ready.
- 34:23Speaker 11: And on Monday, I'm going to go to the fair.
- 34:28Speaker 9: I hear y'all talking about these feta fries.
- 34:32Speaker 10: I know nothing about the Greeks, you know, but I'm
- 34:34Speaker 10: going to try these Greek feta fries.
- 34:36Speaker 2: You got to get you some feta fries.
- 34:41Speaker 10: And hopefully I see my fellow cowboy.
- 34:45Speaker 11: Officiant, and I'm going to wish him a very happy birthday.
- 34:51Speaker 2: All right. Have fun. Good morning. What's going on?
- 34:56Speaker 9: Romeo, I think you might be right.
- 34:59Speaker 2: I know I'm right.
- 35:00Speaker 9: I'm going to give you an example.
- 35:02Speaker 6: So I did a social media experiment about three years ago.
- 35:07Speaker 6: Raider Dave thought he was very popular. I thought I
- 35:09Speaker 6: had a lot of friends. So I said, you know what?
- 35:10Speaker 6: I'm not going to post my birthday, and I'm going
- 35:12Speaker 6: to see who tells me happy birthday.
- 35:16Speaker 9: Nobody, Romeo.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Zero people.
- 35:20Speaker 2: Well, exactly.
- 35:22Speaker 6: My family didn't even come by. I mean, my wife
- 35:25Speaker 6: was the only one that said, hey, are we going
- 35:26Speaker 6: to do something for your birthday? And I was like, man,
- 35:28Speaker 6: I'm bummed.
- 35:29Speaker 2: Not only did your wife... Not plan something for your birthday.
- 35:33Speaker 2: She asked you if we were going to do something.
- 35:36Speaker 2: So she didn't even care.
- 35:37Speaker 6: She didn't care. Nobody cared.
- 35:39Speaker 9: As you get older, the less people care. We just
- 35:42Speaker 9: wither and disappear. So, yeah, you're right. And I'm very
- 35:47Speaker 9: upset about that. So all my friends... My birthday was
- 35:50Speaker 9: Labor Day, September 4th. Just passed. But I wasn't like
- 35:54Speaker 9: Ruben on here.
- 35:55Speaker 6: trying for attention or needing a shoulder to, you know.
- 35:59Speaker 9: So, yeah, I agree with you, Romeo, on this one.
- 36:02Speaker 5: All right. All right, Dave.
- 36:03Speaker 1: Yeah, nobody cares about your birthday. When you're a kid, yes,
- 36:07Speaker 1: the family cares. Your mom and dad care. Your friends care.
- 36:09Speaker 2: We're having a party. When you become an adult, nobody cares.
- 36:13Speaker 2: If you're over here running around, your friends do not care.
- 36:16Speaker 2: Your spouse does not care.
- 36:19Speaker 1: They do something out of obligation because they like you.
- 36:22Speaker 2: That's the only reason.
- 36:24Speaker 1: And if you're one of these attention seekers that celebrates
- 36:26Speaker 1: for the week or the month or whatever, you're just
- 36:30Speaker 1: a needy person, an insecure, needy, selfish person.
- 36:35Speaker 2: That's all you are. Nobody cares. All right. Hey, Rome.
- 36:43Speaker 2: The cement plant in Tehachapi gives your birthday off. It's
- 36:46Speaker 2: a perk of the job. 30th has the coolest birthday name,
- 36:50Speaker 2: the Dirty 30.
- 36:51Speaker 3: Okay.
- 36:53Speaker 2: Uh, today is my son's birthday, Rome, and he turned
- 36:56Speaker 2: seven today. We have been celebrating this whole month, but
- 36:59Speaker 2: today is his actual birthday. So it doesn't have to
- 37:04Speaker 2: go to school today.
- 37:04Speaker 1: He's taking the day off from school and you guys
- 37:06Speaker 1: are going to go to Disneyland and all that stuff
- 37:08Speaker 1: because it's that important.
- 37:10Speaker 2: But that's good. Seven's good.
- 37:12Speaker 1: The whole month is a little excessive. I don't think
- 37:14Speaker 1: you should turn him into a little entitled jackass like
- 37:17Speaker 1: Ruben who has to sit. Now it's a special occasion.
- 37:20Speaker 1: I mean, that's where the entitlement comes when you do
- 37:24Speaker 1: it more than one day.
- 37:24Speaker 2: You know, come on. Happy birthday, Ronaldo. Mama loves you.
- 37:31Speaker 2: Straight mama's boy, huh? Hey, Rome.
- 37:34Speaker 1: I hate it when it comes around to my birthday
- 37:37Speaker 1: and my family asks, so what are we doing? I
- 37:40Speaker 1: tell them nothing because I don't want to do nothing
- 37:42Speaker 1: and they get mad at me.
- 37:48Speaker 2: Yeah, I can understand that.
- 37:50Speaker 5: I mean, but.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Here's the thing, okay, about that.
- 37:56Speaker 2: That's the same thing.
- 37:56Speaker 1: When your family comes and says, what are we going
- 37:59Speaker 1: to do for your birthday, okay, they don't care. They
- 38:04Speaker 1: really don't care. They're just trying to pretend like they
- 38:06Speaker 1: care because they like you, okay? If they really wanted,
- 38:12Speaker 1: if your wife comes to you and says, what are
- 38:13Speaker 1: we doing for my birthday or your birthday?
- 38:18Speaker 2: She doesn't care.
- 38:19Speaker 1: If she cared, she would have planned something for your birthday.
- 38:24Speaker 1: She would have took time out of her life to
- 38:27Speaker 1: do something and make sure that your birthday was handled, okay?
- 38:33Speaker 1: In the same way that, you know, Ronaldo, Ronaldo's mom,
- 38:36Speaker 1: Ronaldo turned seven today. His mom's probably planned it all
- 38:39Speaker 1: out for him. She didn't ask Ronaldo, what do you
- 38:41Speaker 1: want to do for your birthday? Your wife doesn't care
- 38:45Speaker 1: about you. She doesn't care about your birthday.
- 38:47Speaker 4: Okay?
- 38:50Speaker 2: If she did, she would make the arrangements. She would
- 38:53Speaker 2: do something special. Okay?
- 38:56Speaker 1: Nobody cares. Nobody cares about your birthday. Nobody cares about
- 39:00Speaker 1: your wedding day. They just go through the motions because
- 39:07Speaker 1: they like you.
- 39:09Speaker 2: That's what friends do.
- 39:11Speaker 1: They deal with your nonsense because they like being your friend.
- 39:15Speaker 2: What did you say here? Hey, good morning, Rome.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Hey, Ross, distribution gives you your birthday off and your
- 39:21Speaker 1: half birthday. You get paid day off and a day
- 39:24Speaker 1: off the week of your birthday, as.
- 39:26Speaker 2: Long as it's during that week. But I agree as
- 39:29Speaker 2: an adult.
- 39:29Speaker 1: Nobody cares nobody cares and nobody uh and you're not
- 39:35Speaker 1: it's not a special occasion it's just they come every
- 39:38Speaker 1: year it's just a birthday there are a lot of
- 39:40Speaker 1: things to celebrate um your birthday is not some special
- 39:44Speaker 1: occasion that you need to go above and beyond and
- 39:46Speaker 1: act like you're somebody special good morning.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Hot what's going on Hey, what's up, Rome?
- 39:51Speaker 3: Hey, Ruben. I can't believe I tuned in to my
- 39:54Speaker 3: boy Rome hating on me.
- 39:56Speaker 7: Ruben, it's... He called me entitled.
- 39:58Speaker 5: You are.
- 39:59Speaker 7: You know what, Rome? You know what, Rome? Don't get mad,
- 40:01Speaker 7: but I'm about to hit you with another one. You know,
- 40:02Speaker 7: like you were saying, like the wife should step up.
- 40:05Speaker 7: You know what my wife told me this morning?
- 40:07Speaker 3: What? Babe, let the guys go to work. We're going
- 40:09Speaker 3: to go to Santa Maria and go have lunch at
- 40:11Speaker 3: your favorite Chinese place at North China. So now what?
- 40:17Speaker 5: Now what?
- 40:17Speaker 3: Now my girl, my girl's taking it up on her
- 40:20Speaker 3: own hands to do this, bro.
- 40:21Speaker 2: You're like a child, Ruben. It's embarrassing. It's embarrassing.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Bro, you can't hit on me.
- 40:26Speaker 5: I can't hit.
- 40:27Speaker 7: If my wife is giving me love, you should be like, damn,
- 40:30Speaker 7: Ruben's doing something right.
- 40:32Speaker 2: You're a grown man. How old are you turning, Ruben?
- 40:34Speaker 3: Bro, I'm going to be 46.
- 40:37Speaker 2: Oh, God. That's not even a real birthday. Oh, my God.
- 40:40Speaker 3: Ruben. Bro. Come on, bro. Out of all my boys,
- 40:44Speaker 3: you're going to be the hater of the day?
- 40:47Speaker 2: Look, man, I don't discriminate against anybody. If you beat
- 40:50Speaker 2: a dumbass, I got to tell you you're a dumbass.
- 40:52Speaker 7: You're going to hate on me when you're included in
- 40:54Speaker 7: the barbecues and everything.
- 40:56Speaker 2: Oh, I'm going to be there. I'll be there on
- 40:57Speaker 2: Monday for the food. You bet that.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Hey, what you talking about? What you talking about?
- 41:02Speaker 7: I got to be in Burbank Saturday for a tournament,
- 41:05Speaker 7: and one of the parents are inviting.
- 41:06Speaker 3: Me to go out and eat over there in Burbank.
- 41:08Speaker 3: You best believe.
- 41:11Speaker 2: I'm coming before the fair.
- 41:13Speaker 3: We could barbecue Sunday and Monday.
- 41:15Speaker 2: You're embarrassing.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Come on, Rome. Hey, I can't believe you, bro. I'm like, damn,
- 41:24Speaker 3: I told the old lady I can't believe I just
- 41:25Speaker 3: turned the radio on and the person I heard was
- 41:27Speaker 3: Rome Clowney.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Well, it's embarrassing as a grown man to care about
- 41:31Speaker 1: your birthday.
- 41:33Speaker 3: Hey, but you got to also think about this, Rome.
- 41:35Speaker 3: When has this ever happened in all the years you've
- 41:37Speaker 3: known me?
- 41:37Speaker 2: What's that?
- 41:38Speaker 3: That they're catering to me like this this month.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, that's probably the first time. Yeah, you're probably right.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Okay, then.
- 41:44Speaker 7: So, why, hey, bro, you should be like, dang, family,
- 41:46Speaker 7: you should be telling Rome about damn time and family stuff.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Don't worry.
- 41:52Speaker 2: Ruben, I'll see you on Sunday. I gotta go. All right, later, bro.
- 41:57Speaker 3: All right.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Rome, you going to the fair this weekend? Uh, no,
- 42:01Speaker 1: I'm not. I'm going to the powwow this.
- 42:02Speaker 2: Weekend for a little while. Check that out. Uh, let's
- 42:05Speaker 2: see here. What'd you send me here? Um, A dark morning.
- 42:10Speaker 1: I don't even know what that means. I don't know
- 42:12Speaker 1: what that means. Rome, you should make a song for
- 42:16Speaker 1: Ruben on his birthday. Something that says, grass ain't getting
- 42:18Speaker 1: cut because it's my birthday. Weeds ain't getting plucked because.
- 42:22Speaker 2: It's my birthday. Don't call me to fix your leak.
- 42:24Speaker 2: It's my birthday. Ranchetta getting grilled because it's my birthday. Damn, Rome.
- 42:28Speaker 1: I hope Ruben ain't in your call log. Favorite guy
- 42:33Speaker 1: is worse than Seahawk Lou.
- 42:37Speaker 2: It is embarrassing. Reuben's a grown-ass man.
- 42:40Speaker 1: It is embarrassing the way he's acting about his birthday.
- 42:45Speaker 1: I mean, that's just selfish, entitled.
- 42:50Speaker 2: It's childish.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Your birthdays are not special. There are certain birthdays when
- 42:55Speaker 1: you're a kid that are special. But you're not special, okay?
- 43:00Speaker 1: Nobody cares. Nobody cares about your birthday.
- 43:03Speaker 4: Okay, one question.
- 43:05Speaker 10: When is your birthday?
- 43:08Speaker 3: November. In November.
- 43:10Speaker 10: Okay, you're going to have to tell me because I'm
- 43:13Speaker 10: going to have to start sending you some lunch every year.
- 43:15Speaker 1: I don't know what you.
- 43:18Speaker 5: Have against birthdays, but it's a little concerning.
- 43:23Speaker 2: Wait, what's concerning? Oh, I don't have anything against birthdays.
- 43:28Speaker 2: I just think they're stupid. I think that I don't
- 43:30Speaker 2: think they're stupid.
- 43:31Speaker 1: What I think is I think people who make such
- 43:34Speaker 1: a big, dramatic deal out of it and they're like
- 43:37Speaker 1: entitled and selfish and it's all about me and it's
- 43:40Speaker 1: a special occasion.
- 43:41Speaker 2: And that's ridiculous.
- 43:43Speaker 1: It's ridiculous to put your friends and your family through
- 43:47Speaker 1: that because they don't care.
- 43:50Speaker 4: The one thing that I like about my birthday as
- 43:52Speaker 4: an adult, like, when I was a kid, I didn't
- 43:53Speaker 4: really get many birthday parties, right?
- 43:56Speaker 11: Sure.
- 43:56Speaker 5: But as an adult, like, there's things we have to do.
- 44:00Speaker 4: We have to pay rent. We have to buy the
- 44:02Speaker 4: kids Christmas presents. We have to do their birthday parties.
- 44:05Speaker 4: We have to celebrate all these holidays. But when it
- 44:07Speaker 4: comes to your birthday, it's like, what.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Do I want to do?
- 44:10Speaker 9: Like, where do I want to go?
- 44:13Speaker 4: Yeah, there's people that rub it in people's faces. Like,
- 44:16Speaker 4: move out the way. It's my birthday. No, that's like.
- 44:19Speaker 5: But here's my point.
- 44:39Speaker 2: About that, what you just said, is.
- 44:41Speaker 1: If I want to be about my friends, I could
- 44:43Speaker 1: just call my friends today and say, hey, you guys
- 44:45Speaker 1: want to be around each other?
- 44:47Speaker 2: We don't have to make some stupid special occasion.
- 44:49Speaker 3: Out of it.
- 44:49Speaker 2: I'll just call my, hey, let's hang out together. They'll
- 44:52Speaker 2: either say yes or no.
- 44:53Speaker 5: Maybe you do something you don't usually do. The regular stuff,
- 44:57Speaker 5: leave that for the day after, you know? But, like,
- 45:02Speaker 5: go out somewhere, do something different.
- 45:04Speaker 4: I love my birthday.
- 45:05Speaker 11: I'm not.
- 45:07Speaker 10: All right.
- 45:08Speaker 5: Get out of here.
- 45:11Speaker 2: You got to stop cussing.
- 45:12Speaker 5: Get out of here.
- 45:14Speaker 2: My gosh.
- 45:15Speaker 4: What?
- 45:16Speaker 3: No.
- 45:16Speaker 2: If I want to see my friends, I don't need
- 45:19Speaker 2: it to be my birthday. This birthday thing is ridiculous.
- 45:23Speaker 3: Hey, Rome.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Ruben sounds like a person that will drop you if
- 45:26Speaker 1: you don't tell him happy birthday.
- 45:31Speaker 3: I just.
- 45:32Speaker 1: You people use birthdays as attention-seeking... And it just comes
- 45:38Speaker 1: off embarrassing and insecure.
- 45:40Speaker 2: Good morning, Al. What's going on?
- 45:42Speaker 6: What's going on, Romeo?
- 45:43Speaker 2: What up, brother?
- 45:45Speaker 3: Ruben, get over yourself.
- 45:46Speaker 7: You've got 46 years to do it, bub.
- 45:51Speaker 3: You want something different like that lady that just called?
- 45:54Speaker 5: You want to do something different?
- 45:55Speaker 3: Go visit your mom.
- 45:56Speaker 6: She was the one that was in labor with you
- 45:58Speaker 6: for nine hours.
- 45:58Speaker 2: Come on.
- 46:00Speaker 7: Your mom was the one that did something on the
- 46:02Speaker 7: day that.
- 46:02Speaker 2: You were born. 46 and even a real birthday.
- 46:06Speaker 9: He should wait until 50.
- 46:08Speaker 2: He shouldn't even wait until 50.
- 46:09Speaker 1: He should just never celebrate his birthday again and stop
- 46:11Speaker 1: acting like it's some special occasion and that he needs
- 46:14Speaker 1: to be praised on a day he was born.
- 46:16Speaker 2: That's just stupid.
- 46:17Speaker 10: All right.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Later.
- 46:20Speaker 2: Big boy said, what big boy said, me? Big boy said, damn,
- 46:24Speaker 2: leave Ruben alone, bro. Come on, big boy. You celebrating
- 46:28Speaker 2: Ruben's birthday, too? Good morning, how's it going on?
- 46:31Speaker 3: Hey, what's up, Ruben? It's Seahawk Lou.
- 46:34Speaker 2: What up, Lou?
- 46:35Speaker 6: Hey, I just want to get on here and shout
- 46:37Speaker 6: out Ruben.
- 46:39Speaker 9: And I'm excited.
- 46:40Speaker 3: I hope he has a good birthday weekend, man. I
- 46:44Speaker 3: really do. I really do. Hey, it's his birthday. 46? Yeah,
- 46:48Speaker 3: that's a lot of birthdays, man.
- 46:50Speaker 2: 46 is not a real birthday. You're an idiot, too.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Get out of here.
- 46:53Speaker 3: No, it's a real birthday.
- 46:55Speaker 2: No, it's not. For his birthday, I went back to
- 46:58Speaker 2: barbecue for him, you know what I mean? He is
- 47:00Speaker 2: a grown man who's acting like a child who doesn't
- 47:04Speaker 2: get enough attention.
- 47:06Speaker 5: Hey, you never know, Rome.
- 47:08Speaker 7: He might want the attention now as a grown man
- 47:11Speaker 7: instead of a child.
- 47:12Speaker 2: Oh, you guys are ridiculous. I got to hang up
- 47:15Speaker 2: on Lou. Hey, good morning, Rome.
- 47:18Speaker 1: I got a friend that's 33, and since 30, he's
- 47:20Speaker 1: been planning his own birthday parties with music, food, and
- 47:24Speaker 1: all drinks, plus what everybody else brings. He always decides
- 47:27Speaker 1: to do it at my house, and I'm okay with that.
- 47:31Speaker 2: He can keep on doing it. All the leftovers stay
- 47:34Speaker 2: at my house. Just the house rules. That's hilarious. Oh,
- 47:41Speaker 2: my gosh.
- 47:42Speaker 1: I mean, it's just ridiculous. Hey, Rome, you still giving
- 47:47Speaker 1: out tickets? What I got to do to get my
- 47:49Speaker 1: girls to the fair? I don't have any more fair tickets.
- 47:54Speaker 1: But Ruben might be having a birthday party at the fair.
- 47:57Speaker 1: Go to the Feta Fries on Monday. Hey, Romeo, it's
- 48:00Speaker 1: my birthday and my husband, we went out last night
- 48:04Speaker 1: and stayed over at the best friend's house and still
- 48:06Speaker 1: not home. I guess I was not, wait, wait, hold on. Hey, Romeo,
- 48:10Speaker 1: it's my birthday and my husband went out last night
- 48:14Speaker 1: and stayed over his best friend's house and still not home.
- 48:19Speaker 2: I guess I was not that important. Yeah, that's, yeah.
- 48:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Like I said, nobody cares about your birthday. After you
- 48:31Speaker 1: become an adult, you shouldn't even care about your birthday.
- 48:35Speaker 3: You know?
- 48:35Speaker 2: Because nobody else does.
- 48:37Speaker 6: I want to know, how is Raider Dave older than
- 48:40Speaker 6: Cowboy Reuben, but looks 20 years younger than Cowboy Reuben?
- 48:45Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 48:47Speaker 9: Tell that man to invest in some topicals.
- 48:49Speaker 6: Maybe like a cowboy makeover.
- 48:51Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 48:54Speaker 6: Because I saw this man, and I thought he was
- 48:57Speaker 6: way older.
- 49:00Speaker 9: Tell that man enjoy.
- 49:01Speaker 2: All right. Yeah, what's going on?
- 49:08Speaker 9: Romeo, do you remember that old movie?
- 49:11Speaker 6: It's going to date me, but you remember that old movie,
- 49:13Speaker 6: 16 Candles?
- 49:14Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:18Speaker 3: That's how that lady talked about that.
- 49:20Speaker 9: It was her birthday and her husband went.
- 49:22Speaker 6: Out and he stayed gone all night.
- 49:24Speaker 3: It was at the desk window.
- 49:26Speaker 9: That's how she was sitting at the table like, it's
- 49:28Speaker 9: my birthday.
- 49:29Speaker 6: Nobody remembers it's my birthday.
- 49:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:32Speaker 4: Maybe he'll be back and take me to dinner.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, that's great.
- 49:40Speaker 2: That's hilarious.
- 49:41Speaker 3: Hey, but you know what's worse? That was me last
- 49:44Speaker 3: year on my 50th birthday.
- 49:44Speaker 4: I was like, hey, it's my 50th birthday.
- 49:47Speaker 5: You know, I think your kids will come by and
- 49:49Speaker 5: see your grandkids and stuff.
- 49:51Speaker 8: No.
- 49:51Speaker 2: Nobody cares.
- 49:52Speaker 9: I ain't worried about you.
- 49:53Speaker 8: Wow.
- 49:59Speaker 2: That's terrible. That's awful. All right. So Raider Dave called earlier,
- 50:08Speaker 2: and he said he did an experiment.
- 50:10Speaker 1: He didn't tell nobody it was his birthday, and he
- 50:12Speaker 1: said nobody said nothing.
- 50:15Speaker 2: Be honest. When it's your.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Birthday, as an adult, how many people have actually said
- 50:21Speaker 1: happy birthday to you?
- 50:23Speaker 2: Or even care, nobody cares, and there's nothing wrong with that,
- 50:26Speaker 2: a birthday is not a special occasion, there's a lot
- 50:29Speaker 2: of reasons to celebrate, you know, like a special occasion,
- 50:33Speaker 2: you know what a special occasion is, Friday night, let's go,
- 50:36Speaker 2: you want to celebrate, go celebrate with your friends on
- 50:39Speaker 2: Friday night, tonight, ain't nothing going on tonight, might as
- 50:43Speaker 2: well go have a good.
- 50:43Speaker 1: Time, that's all I'm saying, you know, You don't need,
- 50:47Speaker 1: a birthday is not a celebration day, okay? It's not
- 50:51Speaker 1: a reason for you to act like an immature child
- 50:56Speaker 1: who throws a fit because you're not the spotlight of attention, okay?
- 51:01Speaker 1: You create that because you're insecure.
- 51:04Speaker 3: Hey, what's up, bro?
- 51:06Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 51:06Speaker 3: I don't want to answer Rainer Dave's question.
- 51:08Speaker 7: The reason why I look older than you, bro, because
- 51:11Speaker 7: I work and I take care of my family.
- 51:13Speaker 3: I'm not locked up waiting for my EBT card. I mean,
- 51:17Speaker 3: we've been all that time locked up. How are you
- 51:19Speaker 3: going to age just sitting in the cell with your
- 51:21Speaker 3: buddy all the time?
- 51:23Speaker 11: Oh, God.
- 51:23Speaker 7: That's the difference between Cowboy fans, why we look older
- 51:26Speaker 7: than Raider fans, because we all worry about our people
- 51:29Speaker 7: taking care.
- 51:29Speaker 3: Of our family like we're supposed to. So just to
- 51:33Speaker 3: let that sucker know.
- 51:33Speaker 10: All right.
- 51:34Speaker 2: I'll let him know, Roman. See you later, bro.
- 51:36Speaker 1: I always understood that the difference between Cowboy fans and
- 51:40Speaker 1: Raider fans was Raider fans did state time and Cowboy
- 51:44Speaker 1: fans did fed time.
- 51:47Speaker 2: I think.
- 51:48Speaker 3: Hey, Rome.
- 51:49Speaker 1: I know today is Ruben's birthday, but tomorrow is Saturday.
- 51:52Speaker 1: It's Big Boy's birthday. Nobody's talking about that. Happy birthday,
- 51:57Speaker 1: Big Boy. By the way, happy to Ruben as well.
- 52:00Speaker 3: Big Boy.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Now Big Boy's giving shout-outs to himself on his birthday.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Oh, my God, you guys. You guys all suck.
- 52:07Speaker 1: What did you send me here?
- 52:11Speaker 2: Hey, Romeo. Let's see.
- 52:14Speaker 1: Sounds like you're using birthdays to get attention this morning.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Not my birthday.
- 52:19Speaker 3: Hey, Romeo.
- 52:20Speaker 1: Ruben don't treat his mom with respect or even talk
- 52:23Speaker 1: to her. That's coming from his actual blood brother. Where
- 52:30Speaker 1: that feels sad to admit.
- 52:34Speaker 2: So, Ruben, stop crying on the radio. Oh, my God. Romeo,
- 52:40Speaker 2: big boy.
- 52:42Speaker 1: Big boy, it's getting, oh, big boy's getting me a
- 52:45Speaker 1: mariachi for my birthday.
- 52:47Speaker 2: My boy never hates. The only hardworking Raider fan. This
- 52:52Speaker 2: big boy? Well, there you go, Ruben. Sounds like you
- 52:57Speaker 2: got something going on.
- 52:58Speaker 1: Hey, another birthday, another year closer to death.
- 53:04Speaker 2: Wow. Way to bring everybody down. I wouldn't go that
- 53:09Speaker 2: far with birthdays, but damn. Hey, Rome, somebody had to
- 53:12Speaker 2: say it. I'm one of three sisters, and they think
- 53:16Speaker 2: the world revolves around them during their birthday month. Oh,
- 53:25Speaker 2: that's hilarious. Hey, Rome, my birthday was last month. I
- 53:31Speaker 2: didn't want to do anything, just hang out. But my
- 53:33Speaker 2: girl gets mad because she wants to go out to
- 53:36Speaker 2: dinner on my birthday. And guess what? I have to
- 53:39Speaker 2: pay for everything.
- 53:41Speaker 1: I just wanted to be home and relax and drink
- 53:46Speaker 1: some beers.
- 53:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it sounds like you got a selfish girl. Maybe
- 53:51Speaker 2: you should reevaluate that relationship. Send me here.
- 53:56Speaker 1: Romeo, the worst birthdays are people that have birthdays on
- 53:58Speaker 1: cool holidays. My uncle's birthday is on Halloween, and my
- 54:01Speaker 1: nephew's birthday is on 4th of July, like the actual days.
- 54:06Speaker 1: And they get so upset if you don't spend that day.
- 54:11Speaker 2: With them for their birthday. It's like, come on, man.
- 54:15Speaker 1: We want to go out and have fun, do something else.
- 54:18Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 54:19Speaker 1: I totally agree with that. You know, at a certain point,
- 54:23Speaker 1: as an adult... Yeah, nobody cares about your birthday, man.
- 54:27Speaker 1: Even your own spouse doesn't care about your birthday. They
- 54:31Speaker 1: just use it to get something free out of you.
- 54:34Speaker 2: All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7. Good morning, Al. What's going on?
- 54:36Speaker 2: I agree with you. I like that. I like that idea.
- 54:49Speaker 9: I mean, it was an eye-opener for me.
- 54:52Speaker 2: Well, people won't do that, though, Dave, because they're so
- 54:57Speaker 2: insecure and so needy for attention that when they really
- 55:01Speaker 2: find out, it'll really hurt their feelings.
- 55:04Speaker 6: And it reveals how many fake people are out there,
- 55:07Speaker 6: because if you post, oh, today's my birthday, you'll get
- 55:09Speaker 6: a hundred people saying, happy.
- 55:11Speaker 5: Birthday, bro, happy birthday, fam, oh, this and that.
- 55:14Speaker 6: But if you don't do it, it's cricket.
- 55:18Speaker 2: Nobody cares.
- 55:19Speaker 6: It was a real blast to my ego, but you guys.
- 55:23Speaker 3: Have a good one.
- 55:23Speaker 1: Later, man.
- 55:24Speaker 2: Yeah, nobody cares about it. And nobody should care, all right?
- 55:28Speaker 1: Stop being such an egomaniac and a narcissist that you
- 55:31Speaker 1: need everybody to, you know, praise you on your birthday
- 55:35Speaker 1: like you did something. All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7. Good morning, Romeo,
- 55:41Speaker 1: for my birthday every year. We do Pizza Spot, and
- 55:44Speaker 1: I really enjoy it.
- 55:45Speaker 2: Last year, there was.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Around 40 people all on me. And for next year,
- 55:52Speaker 1: same thing. Hopefully, you can make this one. Raider Rob,
- 55:55Speaker 1: have a good day. I get movie tickets.
- 55:57Speaker 2: I don't have nothing. I have no movie tickets. I
- 56:00Speaker 2: have nothing.
- 56:03Speaker 3: All righty, 425477.
- 56:03Speaker 2: Let's see here. What do I got? Rome, I got
- 56:10Speaker 2: married on my birthday, so nobody will forget it. Well, okay.
- 56:15Speaker 2: It's embarrassing, okay? Let's be honest. Let's be honest about it.
- 56:20Speaker 1: When you are a child, you should celebrate your child's
- 56:22Speaker 1: birthday every year. You should do something big for your
- 56:25Speaker 1: children every year for their birthday.
- 56:27Speaker 2: It's important to them. They're young. They're impressionable. They're insecure, okay?
- 56:33Speaker 1: They need that attention as children to show that you
- 56:37Speaker 1: love them.
- 56:37Speaker 2: When you're an adult, Stop it.
- 56:41Speaker 1: Stop acting like all you're doing when you celebrate your
- 56:44Speaker 1: birthday and make everybody do something for you is inconveniencing
- 56:49Speaker 1: your friends and family.
- 56:51Speaker 2: They don't want to celebrate your birthday. And when you're
- 56:55Speaker 2: over here drawing attention to yourself, that makes you an insecure, attention-grabbing,
- 57:01Speaker 2: selfish person because you're forcing everybody to pay attention to you.
- 57:07Speaker 2: You're kind of narcissistic.
- 57:09Speaker 5: Hey, good morning, Romeo.
- 57:10Speaker 3: Hey, what up?
- 57:12Speaker 5: You know what kind of facts about being a woman
- 57:14Speaker 5: and then about your birthday?
- 57:17Speaker 2: What's up?
- 57:18Speaker 5: It's like if you're pregnant and you're a woman, then
- 57:22Speaker 5: instead of getting like a gift for you, you get
- 57:24Speaker 5: a gift for the baby.
- 57:25Speaker 2: On your birthday?
- 57:28Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 57:29Speaker 5: Like I know I shouldn't complain.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Wait, who did that?
- 57:33Speaker 5: Oh, my family. Like years back with your nephews.
- 57:41Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Somebody actually did that. That is embarrassing.
- 57:44Speaker 2: That's weird.
- 57:46Speaker 3: Right?
- 57:46Speaker 5: You know, like, I know people, like, I was talking
- 57:48Speaker 5: to my husband. He's like, you shouldn't take it to heart.
- 57:50Speaker 5: I'm like, well, yeah, but, like, it kind of means, like,
- 57:52Speaker 5: I don't matter, even though this baby's not due until
- 57:54Speaker 5: God knows when.
- 57:54Speaker 2: It does mean that.
- 57:55Speaker 1: Why would somebody buy you, buy your baby a gift
- 57:59Speaker 1: for your birthday?
- 58:00Speaker 5: Right? And then the other thing, too, that hurts a
- 58:03Speaker 5: little bit is, like, everybody forgets my birthday, right? Even
- 58:08Speaker 5: my husband has forgotten my birthday, right?
- 58:10Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 58:10Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 58:11Speaker 2: That's so funny.
- 58:12Speaker 5: I never let him live it down, though, too, because
- 58:14Speaker 5: I'm like, oh, my goodness. I'm so happy. I got
- 58:17Speaker 5: to see how important I am to you. And he's like, oh,
- 58:20Speaker 5: my God. I'm like, yeah.
- 58:21Speaker 2: That's wild.
- 58:23Speaker 5: So what I started doing is returning the favor to everybody.
- 58:27Speaker 5: And they notice because they're like, oh, my God, I
- 58:29Speaker 5: thought you were going to buy me a birthday cake,
- 58:31Speaker 5: like my siblings and my family, because I always do
- 58:34Speaker 5: that for them.
- 58:34Speaker 2: That's hilarious. Oh, my gosh. That is so funny, by
- 58:38Speaker 2: the way. See, birthdays don't matter. All right.
- 58:43Speaker 5: But, you know, as you get older, though, you're like, okay,
- 58:45Speaker 5: you know what? The only person it should matter to,
- 58:48Speaker 5: like how you said, is just yourself. So what I
- 58:50Speaker 5: do is I go take myself, like, if it's, like,
- 58:53Speaker 5: during the weekday and everybody's working or I'm at school
- 58:56Speaker 5: or whatever, I take myself, I go by myself to
- 58:59Speaker 5: a restaurant that I want to eat at peacefully, get
- 59:02Speaker 5: my coffee, you know, even if I'm on a budget,
- 59:05Speaker 5: you know, I can still make it work. um and
- 59:08Speaker 5: i celebrate me i don't need anybody else's approval you
- 59:12Speaker 5: know you know you learn as an adult you know
- 59:14Speaker 5: as a young adult you get hurt Well, there.
- 59:18Speaker 2: Are people out there that would rather have 50 fake-ass
- 59:20Speaker 2: friends at their birthday party than two that just really
- 59:23Speaker 2: love and care about them and would do anything for them.
- 59:25Speaker 2: People are just insecure and stupid.
- 59:27Speaker 5: And that's part of, like, being a young grown-up. But
- 59:29Speaker 5: as you're a mature grown-up, you know that being by
- 59:32Speaker 5: yourself feels a lot more better. All right.
- 59:34Speaker 3: Well, thanks for calling.
- 59:34Speaker 5: All right.
- 59:35Speaker 10: How are you doing, Romeo?
- 59:36Speaker 2: I mean, she's right. But, wow. All right. 842-547-07.
- 59:43Speaker 3: What it do, Rome? What up, brother? Oh, beautiful day
- 59:45Speaker 3: in the neighborhood, eh?
- 59:47Speaker 12: You know what I'm saying?
- 59:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:49Speaker 12: I was going to tell you, man, but ain't nothing
- 59:51Speaker 12: wrong with doing something for.
- 59:51Speaker 3: Yourself on your birthday. You know, that's the way I
- 59:54Speaker 3: do it. You know, I don't plan everybody else to
- 59:56Speaker 3: do nothing.
- 59:57Speaker 12: I'm like, my lady with me and my son, we're
- 59:59Speaker 12: going to go to the beach and do something like that.
- 1:00:00Speaker 12: You know what I mean?
- 1:00:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:01Speaker 12: You know, I ain't worried about everybody else coming around.
- 1:00:04Speaker 12: You know, they might tell me whatever. You know, you
- 1:00:06Speaker 12: tell them happy birthday back, but at the same time,
- 1:00:09Speaker 12: That's just the way to.
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: Do it, you know?
- 1:00:13Speaker 6: Exactly.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: But you got these people like Ruben who got to
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: get the spotlight put on them for their birthday. Like,
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: they're some sort of superstar star.
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: Special uh you know special guest that needs everything done
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: for them that's ridiculous just.
- 1:00:27Speaker 12: Bro i was with her i was with a my
- 1:00:30Speaker 12: one of my baby mothers she uh she used to
- 1:00:34Speaker 12: always be like oh it's my birthday week oh my
- 1:00:38Speaker 12: birthday month he was born on.
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: One day attention seeking insecure people do that Yeah.
- 1:00:44Speaker 12: You know, I ain't even mad at the people that
- 1:00:45Speaker 12: go place to place to collect stuff because they give
- 1:00:47Speaker 12: you stuff away like at Starbucks or whatever. That's cool.
- 1:00:50Speaker 12: You know, I ain't nothing wrong with that. But just
- 1:00:51Speaker 12: don't expect everybody to be wrapping up gifts and, you know,
- 1:00:54Speaker 12: bringing you gift cards and stuff like that, you know?
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: You got these people that expect everybody, all their friends
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: and family to stop their lives for them on their birthday.
- 1:01:02Speaker 2: And you're like, really? Come on now.
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: All right. I'm with you on that, Rome. You know,
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: just celebrate life every day.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: Exactly. Why I got to get everybody's stuff? We can
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: all go out tonight if you want.
- 1:01:14Speaker 3: There you go.
- 1:01:14Speaker 12: Yeah, I'll see you at the Christmas party and.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: Buy you a gift head.
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: All right, man.
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: Later.
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: Like I said, man, I don't need my friends or
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: family to do a damn thing on my birthday. We
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: can go out tonight and do the same thing that
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: we would do on a birthday.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: You're not special. Hey, Rome, I appreciate a cake, but
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: I don't expect it, and I never plan a party.
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: I'd rather just go out to dinner with the family. Okay.
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, I always go on and get a 30-pack
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: of banquets from DG.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: So on my birthday, she carded me.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: I told her if she sees my birthday, she'll be
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: obligated to give me a gift. So she said this
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: pack is on her. I stayed in shock but walked out.
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: Happy birthday. Thank you to her.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Thank you till I got out of the door.
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: I just read that exactly as it was written.
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: Hey, good morning, Romeo and Abra. You guys are cold-blooded
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: for making fun of that female because her man dissed
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: her on her birthday. She was probably all crying, waiting
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: for him to show up with flowers. Now she's probably
- 1:02:17Speaker 2: about to leave him. Well, first of all, nobody was
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: making fun of her.
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: Bro, you got it absolutely wrong, bro. I'm not doing
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: this to myself. My family's catering to me, bro. First
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: of all.
- 1:02:32Speaker 2: Ruben, the way this all started was you was talking
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: about everything you was doing for your birthday. Yeah, I
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: like to cook.
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: I'm not going to have my wife eat. You know
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: I always love the barbecue.
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: You started this whole thing by calling.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: No, hold on.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: You started this whole thing by calling and saying, this
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: is my birthday on Monday. We're doing this, this, this, da-da-da-da-da-da-da.
- 1:02:53Speaker 3: Yeah, we're doing this, this, and da-da. You know what
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: I'm also doing? I'm taking my family to the fair
- 1:02:57Speaker 3: for all my birthday rolls. That's how I do it.
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: But you started this whole thing. Don't act like it.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: Don't act like it. Hold on, Ruben.
- 1:03:05Speaker 5: Hold on.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: Don't act like Gina called and said, hey, we're doing
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: all this for Ruben's birthday, blah, blah, blah. No, you
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: started this. You're the one that made it all about you.
- 1:03:15Speaker 2: You're the one that started it.
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: It's all good.
- 1:03:17Speaker 7: It's all good, bro. I know who's catering to me
- 1:03:20Speaker 7: and it's my family. Now, just real quick, real quick.
- 1:03:23Speaker 7: I don't know who these fools out there trying to
- 1:03:24Speaker 7: claim that I got a brother or.
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: Something, bro.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: Or my mom.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: My mom died a long time ago, bro.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: I have no idea.
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: Hey, my only brother I got, we were talking on
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: the phone, so I know that fool didn't call.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: So, hey, I'm sorry.
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: I ain't been talking any of your lowlights, fool, so
- 1:03:40Speaker 3: don't act like you related to me tonight. Everybody in
- 1:03:43Speaker 3: my family croaked. Get out of here.
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: Jeez, you guys.
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: Yeah, Ruben started that whole thing by talking about whoop, whoop, whoop-dee, whoop, whoop.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: It's my birthday. It's my birthday. Look at me. It's
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: my birthday. Hey, Roma, see you all next Tuesday. It's
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: my half birthday.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: You, Ruben, Raider Dave, all of you guys are invited
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: to the house for some carne asada. Ain't nobody wants
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: your jerky carne asada, your burnt-ass carne asada, Lou.
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: What did you send me here?
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: Hey, Ruben.
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: Oh, no, wait.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I'm sending a shout-out to Big Boy for his birthday today.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: From Javi, little big boy, aka mini me. When's big
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: boy's birthday? Today?
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: Tomorrow? You guys.
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: Grown men don't celebrate their birthdays. Grown men go to work.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: That's what grown men do. They don't make everybody stop.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: Just put the stop for attention.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: Grown men don't do that. What's wrong with you dudes, man? Hey,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: Ruman is like, look at me.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: It's my birthday, 46, and you're still not cool enough
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: to be a Raider fan.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Romeo, still make a weak cowboy song.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I'm not making no cowboy song. But 46 is not
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: a real birthday. You guys are ridiculous.
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:05:03Speaker 1: Yo, Rome, my birthday is next month. My girl's birthday
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: was this past month. I made her feel special and
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: all that. And since we are a recent relationship that
- 1:05:15Speaker 1: started basically the honeymoon stage, I do expect to feel
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: a little special on my birthday by her. I don't
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: go all out for her birthday, but I spend about
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: $ 400 total for my birthday. She bought tickets to an event,
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: and I was excited. It's a Halloween event, but she
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: got the tickets for the weekend. My birthday is late
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: in October. Her birthday was last weekend. She didn't ask
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: me for anything, but she gave me the whole agenda
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: for what she was trying to do first. If it
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: was for my birthday, I thought she'd ask me what
- 1:05:49Speaker 1: I'd like to do first, or at least get the days,
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: get the days close to my birthday. I feel like
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: I'm just part of her birthday present to herself. You
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: probably are. I mean, that, Since it's an early relationship,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: I'll be breaking up with her after this weekend, Rome.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: Just needed to collect my gift first.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: Well, there you go. I mean, yeah, I mean, that's
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: the other thing.
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: A lot of these women are selfish about your birthday,
- 1:06:13Speaker 1: and they plan what they want to do and use
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: the justification of your birthday. So, yeah, that's just selfishness.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: The bottom line with these birthdays is a lot of
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: you guys, a lot of you use them Because you're
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: selfishly insecure. And you want the spotlight on you and
- 1:06:34Speaker 1: everybody to pay attention to you out of neediness.
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: And it's ridiculous.
- 1:06:40Speaker 1: That's why people will say, oh, it's my birthday month.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: How many people walk up to you and say, it's
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: my birthday. It's my birthday.
- 1:06:49Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: If they actually cared, they would have said happy birthday
- 1:06:53Speaker 1: before you actually told them.
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, I would agree with you, Rome.
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: I think people say it's their birthday so they can
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: get the attention. I think Ruben needs that attention to
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: make him feel good because, remember, when he cuts grass
- 1:07:05Speaker 1: and goes yard to yard, nobody probably waves at him
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: and just thinks he's a cutter.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: So stop being so hard on Ruben, Rome. Let him
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: enjoy the footage, the footlong corn dog and the what? Oh,
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: the rake? Oh, and take the day off.
- 1:07:22Speaker 7: Oh.
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: No, he's going to go get them feta cheese fries.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Who's getting the feta cheese fries? Where did that come from?
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: Let me see here. Hey, what up, Rome?
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: I'm with you completely on this one. I'm 52, and
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: I haven't celebrated a birthday since I was 18.
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: It's just another day.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I really don't get it when people want to take
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: the day off work because it's their birthday or it's
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: their birthday weekend or big deal. Or even some of them,
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: it's their birthday month. So they make it a big deal.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I'm just always thankful to see another year. And typically
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: my children wish me a happy birthday on my birthday.
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: And that's all I need. So I'm with you, Rome.
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: It's just your birthday.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: And you're an adult. It's not that big a deal.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: It's not that big a deal. It's just you're.
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: Needy and insecure and you want people. The problem with it,
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: there's a lot of reasons to celebrate, you know, just
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: every day. You know, you guys just, yeah, it's just
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: attention seeking. Hey, Rome, two of my kids are holiday
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: babies as kids, pizza and barbecue. Now they're older and
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: they hate barbecue and cake. They only, they only homemade
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: cheesecakes and crash and cash. Oh, they want homemade cheesecake
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: and cash.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: That's funny.
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: Try having a birthday on Christmas. All you get is
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: Merry Christmas, even if you want to celebrate yourself. Alone,
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: everything is closed. I have a cousin whose birthday was
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: on Christmas Eve.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: Oh, no, Christmas Day, the 25th. Hey, good morning, Rome.
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: Have a great weekend. Free angel. Oh, yeah, angel.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Angel's visiting here. Hey, Romeo, hubby's still not home. Get
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: my free Starbucks and free pancakes at McDonald's.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: Yay. You're born alone. I'll be alone on it, I guess.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: Oh, this is the woman who said her husband went
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: out last night. And never came home, stayed at a
- 1:09:19Speaker 1: friend's house. And it's her birthday today.
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: Jeez.
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: That's rough, by the way.
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: R-E-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. Hey, Romeo, the people who look for birthday attention
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: are losers. The worst is the ones who blast their
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: birthday on social media and people wish them a birthday
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: because the alert popped up. Real friends who actually text
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: or call them for their wishes.
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: Is the real count? Well, the problem, here's the problem.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: Here's the real problem.
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: And most people would rather have fake friends or half-assed
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: friends than two real friends. That's the problem is people
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: get their self-worth from how many people they're surrounded.
- 1:10:00Speaker 2: By real or not. You know what I'm saying?
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: People just aren't secure with themselves. And social media is
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: making it worse. Good luck with that. Have fun at
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: the fair, everybody.
- 1:10:13Speaker 2: I've got to go do something else.
